- 0:00SPEAKER_04: The Doc and Carolyn Podcast!
- 0:02SPEAKER_03: We've done 143 of these.
- 0:04SPEAKER_03: 143.
- 0:06SPEAKER_03: Welcome to the Doc and Carolyn Podcast.
- 0:08SPEAKER_09: Welcome back.
- 0:08SPEAKER_03: Hi, Carolyn.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: Carolyn's a an FNP.
- 0:10SPEAKER_03: I have all your credentials down because I had to.
- 0:13SPEAKER_03: I'm doing your social media marketing campaign for True Healing Healthcare.net.
- 0:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 0:18SPEAKER_03: So I have all of your credentials down.
- 0:19SPEAKER_03: You're MSN, you are APRN.
- 0:22SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 0:23SPEAKER_03: And you are F N P C.
- 0:25SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry, F N P C.
- 0:27SPEAKER_03: And that is a that is a big distinction.
- 0:29SPEAKER_03: I had to look it up.
- 0:30SPEAKER_03: Uh as much as you know, I live in the same house with you and have been for the last 15 years.
- 0:34SPEAKER_03: I had no idea what well you haven't been in FNP for all that time, but I looked it up and that's that's kind of a big deal.
- 0:40SPEAKER_03: That's that's bigger than just a regular family nurse practitioner.
- 0:43SPEAKER_03: That's C.
- 0:44SPEAKER_03: It means you're certified, don't you?
- 0:45SPEAKER_03: I thought that's all certified.
- 0:47SPEAKER_03: Let's see what the AI says.
- 0:49SPEAKER_03: FNPC stands for Family Nurse Practitioner Certified.
- 0:54SPEAKER_03: It is an advanced practice registered nurse who has completed master's or doctoral level education and passed a national clinical competency exam from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
- 1:07SPEAKER_09: Yeah, we're all certified.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: No, no, no.
- 1:10SPEAKER_09: You have to be you have to pass a certification.
- 1:12SPEAKER_03: Listen, there is a distinct.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: Let me tell you about your profession.
- 1:15SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: There is a distinct distinction between the FNPC and a regular FNP.
- 1:22SPEAKER_03: The C is a certification and a distinction.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: I mean, you you know what?
- 1:26SPEAKER_03: You your your humility is just infuriating.
- 1:29SPEAKER_03: Will you stop it?
- 1:30SPEAKER_09: I mean, we're all certified.
- 1:31SPEAKER_03: I know, but I don't always use the C.
- 1:34SPEAKER_03: But it's but it's but it's a credential that you've earned, right?
- 1:38SPEAKER_09: We've all earned it.
- 1:39SPEAKER_03: Okay, Carolyn, I'm done.
- 1:40SPEAKER_03: I'm just welcome to the show.
- 1:42SPEAKER_03: We're having a fight in the middle of the broadcast here.
- 1:44SPEAKER_03: But uh but welcome.
- 1:45SPEAKER_03: It's nice to have you aboard.
- 1:47SPEAKER_03: I'm watching you do it.
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: You're getting more patients, and you had your first bioidentical uh hormone replacement therapy patient today.
- 1:53SPEAKER_03: That is a big milestone.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: How does that feel?
- 1:56SPEAKER_09: It feels good because I'm so excited for her because I've actually been working with her, and um, you know, I knew she had some issues with her hormones, and um she said, Listen, I need help like now.
- 2:11SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
- 2:11SPEAKER_09: So I took the class.
- 2:13SPEAKER_09: She's the reason that I went ahead and took the class, actually.
- 2:16SPEAKER_03: Okay, so you're certified in that now, and you're going to um be able to offer that service to her.
- 2:21SPEAKER_03: That's wonderful.
- 2:22SPEAKER_09: Yep.
- 2:22SPEAKER_09: I'm Carolyn Kilgore, founder and provider at TrueHealing Healthcare.net.
- 2:27SPEAKER_03: Why functional medicine?
- 2:28SPEAKER_09: Because you're more than just a list of symptoms.
- 2:31SPEAKER_09: Traditional care often masks the problem, but functional medicine digs deeper to find the root cause.
- 2:37SPEAKER_03: What makes True Healing Healthcare different?
- 2:40SPEAKER_09: We move away from the one size fits all approach.
- 2:43SPEAKER_09: We look at your environment and your lifestyle to create a roadmap tailored specifically for you.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: What if someone really wants to make a change?
- 2:51SPEAKER_09: If you're tired of feeling fine and want to start feeling great, it's about proactive wellness, not just reactive treatment.
- 2:58SPEAKER_03: What's the deal with telemedicine?
- 3:00SPEAKER_09: As long as you're 18 and have an internet connection, you can have a visit in the privacy of your own home or anywhere else in Texas.
- 3:07SPEAKER_09: We're able to order labs or prescribe or whatever else you need.
- 3:11SPEAKER_03: True Healing Healthcare.net for the great state of Texas.
- 3:14SPEAKER_03: And I forgot a couple weeks, but but we've been probably about the last six weeks kind of tracking close cryptocurrency because there is legislation going through the government, going through Congress right now, being debated in Congress, called the Clarity Act and the Genius Act.
- 3:30SPEAKER_03: And it is going to change the way we do money.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: We're going to talk about that with Kimberly Blake's.
- 3:36SPEAKER_03: We have from episode 91, uh, we did an episode with her called The Crypto Classroom.
- 3:42SPEAKER_09: Yeah, she has a good book.
- 3:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the crypto classroom is the name of that book.
- 3:45SPEAKER_03: And we talked to her about this.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: And just for a reference, last week when we did the show, Bitcoin, BTC, was at right at 63,000.
- 3:55SPEAKER_03: It dipped below that, maybe to 62, then bounced between 62 and 64.
- 4:00SPEAKER_03: And after the president had a meeting with some of the crypto leaders and banking and securities and exchange commission personnel yesterday, it jumped up$10,000 in one day.
- 4:12SPEAKER_05: Nice.
- 4:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it's that's what I like.
- 4:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, right now it's at uh 73 in change, over 73,000.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: So we'll get with Kimberly to talk about crypto.
- 4:20SPEAKER_03: Don't forget, an election is coming up in November, and socialism is going to be on the ballot no matter where you're listening.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: If you're here in the States, socialism is going to be on the ballot.
- 4:30SPEAKER_03: It's going to sound great.
- 4:31SPEAKER_03: It's going to be sugarcoated.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: It's going to be propaganda.
- 4:35SPEAKER_03: World-famous economist Milton Friedman is Thomas Sowell, Harvard graduate, Thomas Sowell's mentor.
- 4:42SPEAKER_03: Milton Friedman probably gives the best explanation for socialism we've ever heard.
- 4:47SPEAKER_03: Check this out.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: When you see around the globe the maldistribution of wealth, the desperate plight of millions of people in underdeveloped countries, uh, when you see so few haves and so many have-nots, when you s when you see the greed and the concentration of power within, aren't you ever, did you ever have a moment of doubt about capitalism and whether greed's a good idea to run on?
- 5:11SPEAKER_02: Well, first of all, tell me, is there some society you know that doesn't run on greed?
- 5:16SPEAKER_02: You think Russia doesn't run on greed?
- 5:19SPEAKER_02: You think China doesn't run on greed?
- 5:21SPEAKER_02: What is greed?
- 5:22SPEAKER_02: Of course, none of us are greedy.
- 5:23SPEAKER_02: It's only the other fellow who's greedy.
- 5:27SPEAKER_02: This the world runs on individuals pursuing their separate interests.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: The great achievements of civilization have not come from government bureaus.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: Einstein didn't construct his theory under order from a from a bureaucrat.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: Henry Ford didn't revolutionize the automobile industry that way.
- 5:46SPEAKER_02: In the only cases in which the masses have escaped from the kind of grinding poverty you're talking about, the only cases in recorded history are where they where they have had capitalism and largely free trade.
- 5:57SPEAKER_02: If you want to know where the masses are worse worse off, worst off, it's exactly in the kinds of societies that depart from that.
- 6:06SPEAKER_02: So that the record of history is absolutely crystal clear that there is no alternative way, so far discovered, of improving the lot of the ordinary people that can hold a candle to the productive activities that are unleashed by uh free enterprises?
- 6:23SPEAKER_01: It seems to reward not virtue as much as ability to manipulate the system.
- 6:28SPEAKER_02: And what does reward virtue?
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: You think the uh communist commissar rewards virtue?
- 6:32SPEAKER_02: You think a Hitler rewards virtue?
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: You think, excuse me, if you'll pardon me, do you think American presidents reward virtue?
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: Do they choose their appointees on the basis of the virtue of the people appointed or on the basis of their political clouds?
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: Is it really true that political self-interest is nobler somehow than economic self-interest?
- 6:53SPEAKER_02: You know, I think you're taking a lot of things for granted.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: Just tell me where in the world you find these angels.
- 6:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, socialism bad, capitalism good.
- 7:01SPEAKER_03: And with that in mind, what are your thoughts on the new on getting another car?
- 7:06SPEAKER_03: Because how long listen, listen to me.
- 7:08SPEAKER_03: How long have you had the car you have now?
- 7:11SPEAKER_09: It's a 2019.
- 7:12SPEAKER_03: Seven years.
- 7:16SPEAKER_03: Listen to me.
- 7:17SPEAKER_03: You you can't keep a car, though, and I'm and the audience is going to concur.
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: You can't keep a car forever.
- 7:24SPEAKER_09: It ha it doesn't even have a hundred thousand miles on it.
- 7:27SPEAKER_03: It has ninety-five thousand miles on it.
- 7:29SPEAKER_09: Right, which means it has a long way to go.
- 7:31SPEAKER_09: It's an Acura.
- 7:33SPEAKER_09: And we take very good care of it.
- 7:35SPEAKER_03: Well, the all the audience agrees that No, they don't.
- 7:38SPEAKER_03: You need to okay, listen, I'm not saying you have to get one now, but you need to start looking, and I think that's what I'm bringing this up.
- 7:43SPEAKER_09: No, because every time we look, we buy, and we're not buying right now.
- 7:48SPEAKER_03: Why?
- 7:49SPEAKER_09: Because we have two perfectly good cars, and I love my car.
- 7:53SPEAKER_09: I've loved it since day one, and I don't want a different car.
- 7:56SPEAKER_03: It's seven years old.
- 7:57SPEAKER_09: I don't care.
- 7:58SPEAKER_09: It doesn't look seven years old.
- 8:00SPEAKER_03: Well, let me know.
- 8:00SPEAKER_03: It looks it looks new because I take great care of it.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: So do you um do you do you think we'll go electric on the next car?
- 8:08SPEAKER_03: Because I think uh I think there are premium prices.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: A lot of those, you know, the government subsidizing the whole electric thing.
- 8:15SPEAKER_09: I don't think they're doing that anymore.
- 8:16SPEAKER_03: They're not well no, they're not now, but but they also aren't selling because the car dealerships are uh I don't know that that makes sense for us.
- 8:25SPEAKER_09: A hybrid, maybe, but I don't know if an electric car makes sense.
- 8:30SPEAKER_03: Do you not like do you not like the idea of an electric car?
- 8:33SPEAKER_09: Do you do I didn't for a long time, but I don't know.
- 8:38SPEAKER_09: I don't know.
- 8:39SPEAKER_03: You want to you what what would it take to to buy it for you to buy a roll?
- 8:48SPEAKER_05: That's not happening.
- 8:52SPEAKER_05: Welcome to this Kingdom Mini with your host, Kimberly Blakes on the Doc and Carolyn podcast.
- 8:57SPEAKER_05: We have gotten to a dangerous place in this world where we excuse everything and we just glaze over everything with catch-all words that sound good, but they are really um not helping the person.
- 9:08SPEAKER_05: You're handicapping people.
- 9:10SPEAKER_05: And so the book of Romans says that we are gonna give an account of our lives in front of God.
- 9:15SPEAKER_05: If you cannot take accountability or responsibility for your own life right now, what do you think you're gonna say in front of the Father?
- 9:22SPEAKER_05: And so, what has happened now?
- 9:23SPEAKER_05: We have an entire society that loves these buzzwords, and those buzzwords are mental health, depression, race, all that kind of stuff.
- 9:33SPEAKER_05: But see, you have to choose.
- 9:34SPEAKER_05: Every day you are given a choice, and we have to stop with these excuses.
- 9:39SPEAKER_05: We have to stop with it.
- 9:40SPEAKER_05: This is what's wrong with this country now.
- 9:42SPEAKER_05: If someone does not succeed and they're black, you immediately give them the excuse.
- 9:47SPEAKER_05: Well, it's because you're black.
- 9:48SPEAKER_05: If God is for me, then who can be against me?
- 9:51SPEAKER_05: I don't care if I'm purple.
- 9:52SPEAKER_05: Thank you for tuning in to this Kingdom Minute with your host, Kimberly Blakes, on the Doc and Carolyn podcast.
- 9:57SPEAKER_05: You can find me on Facebook at Kimberly Blakes, and I also have a podcast called The Faith Frame Perspective.
- 10:04SPEAKER_05: I'll see you guys there.
- 10:05SPEAKER_03: Doc and Carolyn Podcast.
- 10:06SPEAKER_03: We're gonna go into the archives because everybody needs to catch up, and I mean right now, on what's going on with cryptocurrency.
- 10:13SPEAKER_03: It's everywhere and it's coming.
- 10:15SPEAKER_03: Episode 91, Kimberly Blake's educating all of us on the real deal with crypto.
- 10:20SPEAKER_03: And let's check in episode 91 from the archives, already in progress.
- 10:25SPEAKER_04: I don't even know what it's like.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: I don't even know.
- 10:28SPEAKER_03: Let's just move on.
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: I have no idea.
- 10:31SPEAKER_03: So sorry about that, Kim.
- 10:32SPEAKER_03: I I do have a question.
- 10:33SPEAKER_03: So in 2020, it wasn't nearly as in the mainstream as now.
- 10:38SPEAKER_03: How did you get inspired to take a class in the first place?
- 10:41SPEAKER_05: I took a class because a colleague challenged me to buy some Bitcoin.
- 10:46SPEAKER_05: And I was like, I would never buy Bitcoin.
- 10:48SPEAKER_05: I would never put a dollar in Bitcoin.
- 10:51SPEAKER_05: And he started posting his wins, like, you know, and I was like, nah, I I took a course in the stock market.
- 10:58SPEAKER_05: And I've never seen a hundred times return.
- 11:01SPEAKER_05: I've never seen a 200 time time return in in, you know, in the stock market.
- 11:05SPEAKER_05: It's just you're just not gonna happen.
- 11:06SPEAKER_05: And so when I saw that, I said, well, let me just put just a little something there.
- 11:09SPEAKER_05: So I think I put 100, 200 something in there, and it was just going.
- 11:13SPEAKER_05: And I just said, okay, well, either this is a scam, but it, but it can't be.
- 11:17SPEAKER_05: And I I I I asked the Lord, I said, What is this?
- 11:21SPEAKER_05: And I went to sleep and I woke up and I had peace about it.
- 11:24SPEAKER_05: And all of a sudden, I just had a desire to learn everything I could about crypto then.
- 11:30SPEAKER_05: And still then, I I quietly learned it.
- 11:33SPEAKER_05: I would post every now and then, but then I got a lot of trolls, and I said, Well, let me just shut up.
- 11:37SPEAKER_05: Nobody cares about it except for me.
- 11:39SPEAKER_03: So I just trolling, what what was the the typical response you'd get when you did?
- 11:46SPEAKER_05: That it's a Ponzi, that it's a Ponzi scheme, that it's fake, that it's not gonna last, and it's not, it's you know, it's not money.
- 11:54SPEAKER_05: And then I asked myself some horror questions, and the horror question was is it money or is it not money, or what what exactly is money?
- 12:02SPEAKER_05: So then I had to research what is money, and that's when I realized money is nothing but a concept.
- 12:08SPEAKER_05: It's literally we are trading value or value, whatever we say is valuable.
- 12:13SPEAKER_05: Right now we're saying paper's valuable.
- 12:15SPEAKER_05: The same paper that people fought over, the same paper that we pay bills with, we're we're trading it.
- 12:19SPEAKER_05: It is really interesting because people used to trade salt and they used to trade shells, and then they got to silver because it was a little more durable, and then the silver got too heavy, so then they moved on to paper.
- 12:31SPEAKER_05: And here we are.
- 12:32SPEAKER_03: One thing I love about your book is that you go through the history of money.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: You give a complete education about how malleable money is.
- 12:40SPEAKER_03: It can be literally anything.
- 12:42SPEAKER_03: You mentioned salt, and that's where we get the the word salary.
- 12:45SPEAKER_05: And then we were using plastic.
- 12:46SPEAKER_05: So we we we've pretty much used everything, and now everything needs to go digital.
- 12:51SPEAKER_05: You because everything that we do is in our phones.
- 12:55SPEAKER_05: We work from our phones, we bank from our phones, we take pictures with our phones, we're we socialize in our phones.
- 13:00SPEAKER_03: And just this week, I read that I think it's the state of Ohio and a few other states, driver's licenses are now completely downloadable to your mobile device, to your phone, much like boarding passes now when you fly.
- 13:12SPEAKER_03: It's completely legit.
- 13:13SPEAKER_03: You can show the police, no worries.
- 13:15SPEAKER_05: But money, we cannot do anything about money.
- 13:17SPEAKER_05: We have to walk into a bank, we have to wait to wire something.
- 13:20SPEAKER_05: Whereas we could send someone a message in a matter of seconds.
- 13:24SPEAKER_05: Money needs to move at the same speed.
- 13:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah, absolutely.
- 13:26SPEAKER_05: And that's what crypto is.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: Once you finish your class, though, you kind of put your feet into it at that point.
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: How did you deal with the volatility?
- 13:33SPEAKER_03: You can have some, like you mentioned, you get some hundred X, and then there are some times when it'll when it dipped down, and over the last five years it's done that.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: And from the beginning, from the since its inception in 2009, it's had all kinds of crazy roller coaster actions.
- 13:47SPEAKER_09: Super exciting when it's up.
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: Oh, for sure.
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: For sure.
- 13:51SPEAKER_09: Not so much when it gives.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: So you got your feet wet.
- 13:53SPEAKER_03: What inspired you to write a book?
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: How early on in this process did you decide to write a book about it?
- 13:59SPEAKER_05: Actually, I decided to write a book about it about a month and a half ago.
- 14:03SPEAKER_05: I have a group on social media that I'm teaching about crypto, but the thing is about the group, I'm getting new, I'm getting new people every day.
- 14:11SPEAKER_05: So now is it about 380 members, and it's only been around about three and a half weeks.
- 14:16SPEAKER_05: So with that, the new people come in and they're asking a bunch of questions, and I have to keep saying the same thing over and over again.
- 14:22SPEAKER_05: I say, you know what?
- 14:23SPEAKER_05: It's not just for people that have heard of me or that know me.
- 14:26SPEAKER_05: This is for any beginner.
- 14:28SPEAKER_05: So I'm gonna take all that information, put it in the form of a book, and write a book.
- 14:32SPEAKER_05: And it being volatile, guys, it just doesn't bother me because I know that anything worth having is not gonna be easy.
- 14:40SPEAKER_05: And also, I had to tell myself, I had to talk to my emotions because it's all in your head.
- 14:48SPEAKER_05: You you you you you gotta be able to just be even about the whole thing because if it goes down, it has to come back up.
- 14:54SPEAKER_05: Anything that has gains the way that crypto has is going to have those kind of swings until everything is being is is leveled.
- 15:01SPEAKER_05: Well, now with the Genius Act and the Clarity Act, things are being leveled out, regulations are being put in place.
- 15:07SPEAKER_05: I'm not extremely happy about that because I felt like the government should not put their hands in it.
- 15:13SPEAKER_05: That clears the way, yeah.
- 15:15SPEAKER_05: But the only thing is that in order for banks and different things to get into it, there has to be some clarity.
- 15:22SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 15:23SPEAKER_05: So I understand that.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: And that's gonna and and that has in fact attracted uh institutional investors, I believe, more to the pi more to the table because you know you when you start to play at that level, they they need some oversight in their mind.
- 15:36SPEAKER_03: There has to be some some guardrails.
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: And I and I totally get that because the F the FTX thing really did happen.
- 15:43SPEAKER_03: It did.
- 15:44SPEAKER_09: So concern for me though, is anything that the government gets into, they corrupt it somehow.
- 15:51SPEAKER_09: And I'm I'm just trying to figure out how they're going to corrupt it because I know they will.
- 15:56SPEAKER_03: Your group of of investors or group of people interested in crypto.
- 15:59SPEAKER_03: How do we subscribe?
- 16:00SPEAKER_03: We want to be, we want to join.
- 16:02SPEAKER_03: What does it cost?
- 16:03SPEAKER_03: Tell me the whole story.
- 16:04SPEAKER_05: I'm in it.
- 16:05SPEAKER_05: It is it is actually the same name as the book.
- 16:09SPEAKER_05: The it's it's called the crypto classroom.
- 16:11SPEAKER_05: And so you would find that on social media and you would just join the group.
- 16:15SPEAKER_05: It's free.
- 16:16SPEAKER_05: It is not for investment.
- 16:17SPEAKER_05: We are, we are, we're we're not telling you what to do with your money.
- 16:21SPEAKER_05: We're basically teaching what is crypto, what is a blockchain, what is mining, how do you mine.
- 16:27SPEAKER_05: And what I'm trying to do is break it down to a a level that is that is bite-sized so that people can at least learn the basics of it, get in, because within about two or three years, I honestly believe that crypto is going to not only be something that we make money on, but we're gonna be using it like currency because it is currency and an asset.
- 16:49SPEAKER_05: It's both.
- 16:50SPEAKER_05: And so I don't want anybody to be left out because I honestly believe this is the wealth transfer.
- 16:54SPEAKER_03: I have a partial list of the things that have gone from paper or analog to digital in our lifetime.
- 17:01SPEAKER_03: Uh, let's start out with communication, landline technology, the traditional analog phone networks have been largely replaced by digital voiceover IP for residential and business.
- 17:11SPEAKER_03: Mail, physical and mail faxes have been replaced by email, instant messaging, and on and on.
- 17:17SPEAKER_03: Cameras, film cameras have become a niche product with digital cameras and smartphones obviously dominating.
- 17:24SPEAKER_03: Uh, in media, music has gone from physical CDs and cassette tapes to Spotify and Apple Music, movies and television, analog over the air broadcasting, physical media like VHS, DVDs, now replaced by high definition gaming, physical game cartridges and discs, now replaced by digital downloads and cloud-based gaming, information and data.
- 17:45SPEAKER_03: When's the last time you pulled out a map and unfolded it?
- 17:48SPEAKER_03: Now everything's on GPS, manufacturing and design, sensors and controls, the thermostat in your house, digital.
- 17:55SPEAKER_03: And make no mistake about it, money's next.
- 17:57SPEAKER_09: I remember when we first started talking about it in what was it, 2012, 2013?
- 18:03SPEAKER_09: We were like, we are not spending money on air.
- 18:06SPEAKER_09: We don't even know what it is.
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: We we really did.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: We really did.
- 18:10SPEAKER_03: That was our kind.
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: We had a we had really had a very serious conversation about it, and that was the conclusion that this is air.
- 18:16SPEAKER_09: Instead of being like Kimberly and taking the time to learn what it was.
- 18:19SPEAKER_03: No, because here was Kim, here's here's one of the things.
- 18:22SPEAKER_03: Here, here's why why your effort and your project is so important.
- 18:26SPEAKER_03: Because we had questions and didn't know where to go for answers.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: That's the thing.
- 18:31SPEAKER_03: And like I said, it's happening, it's emerging, it's right under our nose.
- 18:35SPEAKER_03: Everything has gone digital.
- 18:36SPEAKER_03: We talked about books, we talk about music, we talk about banking.
- 18:40SPEAKER_03: You know, you use your your credit card at McDonald's for crying out loud.
- 18:44SPEAKER_03: So everything is digitizing, every single thing, and the last thing to digitize is money, but it is but it was inevitable that it would happen, happen.
- 18:53SPEAKER_03: Even even scripture predicts something.
- 18:56SPEAKER_03: When John saw that vision on Pat Moss of and put it in in the book of Revelation, that people around the globe would not be able to buy and sell unless they had a certain credential, a certain mark, it's called.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: How how that what what a mind blower that must have been for him because he never could have in never could have dreamed of a system that would that would be managed like that, that would that could that can impact everybody on the planet.
- 19:21SPEAKER_03: But digital currency is that.
- 19:24SPEAKER_03: It is, you know, and and money and and any tool can be perverted and used for evil.
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: So don't say, Oh, that's the mark.
- 19:31SPEAKER_03: No, this is not the mark, but the mark is coming because God says so.
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: The Lord has told us that.
- 19:37SPEAKER_03: And anything can be perverted and used for evil.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: But to participate in this and to prosper in it, that in in itself, that's just you know, that's just a tool, just like a dollar bill is a tool, just like a ten dollar bill is a tool.
- 19:49SPEAKER_03: So um it's it's uh it's fascinating to watch this happen.
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: And we've we've we've been the beneficiaries of it since we jumped in in two in uh in 2020.
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: Same well when you were getting in your class, that's when we first started investing.
- 20:04SPEAKER_03: And we said and we had watched a couple pops in Bitcoin and and said, What is going on?
- 20:09SPEAKER_03: And it had gone, if you look at the numbers, Bitcoin has gone since its inception in 2009.
- 20:14SPEAKER_03: It's gone up 16,000 percent.
- 20:17SPEAKER_03: It's grown, it's grown more than real estate, it's grown more than gold, uh, precious mineral, nothing has outperformed the asset Bitcoin.
- 20:26SPEAKER_09: Nothing has I've certainly not gotten a hundred percent on any of my stocks that I have.
- 20:32SPEAKER_03: But you have in in this.
- 20:33SPEAKER_09: Yes.
- 20:35SPEAKER_03: It's it's it's madness to think about.
- 20:37SPEAKER_03: I wanted to uh read your your note from the author, if I can, because you you put this so beautifully.
- 20:43SPEAKER_03: And when we opened up your book, this is where we kind of really sat down and got real interested because of the way you put this.
- 20:50SPEAKER_03: You said this book is for anyone who doesn't know the first thing about cryptocurrency, but is curious, open-minded, and ready to learn the basics in a clear, simple way.
- 20:59SPEAKER_03: No tech background required.
- 21:02SPEAKER_03: What this book will cover.
- 21:03SPEAKER_03: This book takes you on a journey from the history of money to the rise of digital wallets.
- 21:08SPEAKER_03: And most importantly, it explains how cryptocurrency was created, how to get started, and why it matters.

- 22:30SPEAKER_00: The Revelation to John, chapter 8.
- 22:33SPEAKER_00: When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censor, and he was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar before the throne.
- 22:57SPEAKER_00: And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, rose before God from the hand of the angel.
- 23:05SPEAKER_00: Then the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it on the earth, and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth.
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
- 23:58SPEAKER_00: The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: The name of the star is Wormwood.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter.
- 24:21SPEAKER_00: The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow.
