Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Everybody loves to point the finger at Harvard
0:07
Speaker 1: when Epstein's mess comes up. And don't get me wrong,
0:10
Speaker 1: Harvard has earned every ounce of heat it gets. The
0:13
Speaker 1: guy had an office there, gave the money, and they
0:16
Speaker 1: pretended it was all fine because hey, money talks, right?
0:19
Speaker 1: But here's the thing that nobody likes to say out loud.
0:22
Speaker 1: Harvard wasn't alone. Not by a long shot. Yale got
0:26
Speaker 1: their hands dirty too. Yale, with all their prestige and pomp,
0:30
Speaker 1: didn't have a damn problem cashing checks from a creep
0:33
Speaker 1: like Epstein. They were more than happy to slap on
0:36
Speaker 1: a smile, nod politely, and help polish up his rotten image.
0:39
Speaker 1: And we're not talking about some back alley operation. This
0:42
Speaker 1: is an Ivy League school. The supposed cream of the crop,
0:46
Speaker 1: the brain trust of America, the ones who like to
0:48
Speaker 1: wag their finger at the rest of us and tell
0:50
Speaker 1: us what's moral, what's right, and what's beneath us. These
0:53
Speaker 1: schools preach leadership, responsibility, and integrity from their ivory towers.
0:58
Speaker 1: And then behind the curtain, they're cozying up to a
1:00
Speaker 1: guy who was literally running one of the most vile
1:03
Speaker 1: and predatory operations you could ever imagine. And it wasn't
1:06
Speaker 1: like they didn't know. Don't insult our intelligence. The man's
1:11
Speaker 1: reputation was out there. It was written about, whispered about,
1:14
Speaker 1: and public enough that any institution worth a damn would
1:17
Speaker 1: have said no thanks, well pass. But not Harvard. Not Yale.
1:21
Speaker 1: They still took his money. Why? Because he was useful
1:24
Speaker 1: to them. That's the truth nobody at those universities wants
1:28
Speaker 1: to admit. He made them look connected. He made them
1:31
Speaker 1: look plugged in to high society. He was their pipeline
1:34
Speaker 1: into the billionaire class, the glittering donors, the circles where
1:38
Speaker 1: favors and checks are handed out like candy. That's what mattered.
1:43
Speaker 1: Not ethics. Not decency. Not protecting the reputation of their institutions.
1:49
Speaker 1: And sure as hell not the lives of the victim's.
1:51
Speaker 1: They cared about prestige and dollar signs, full stop. And
1:55
Speaker 1: they figured no one would ever call them on it.
1:57
Speaker 1: Because hell, who dares cross the Ivy League? Now look
2:01
Speaker 1: at how they act today. Shocked, appalled, pretending. They never knew.
2:06
Speaker 1: Spare me the performance. They knew what they were doing,
2:09
Speaker 1: and they did it anyway. They thought they were untouchable. Harvard, Yale, Princeton,
2:13
Speaker 1: you name it. They all played ball. They all wanted
2:16
Speaker 1: a piece of the pie. And now that the stink's
2:19
Speaker 1: out in the open... They want to scrub their hands
2:21
Speaker 1: clean and pretend they were never in the room? Give
2:24
Speaker 1: me a break. When Epstein needed legitimacy after his arrest,
2:28
Speaker 1: who do you think gave it to him? Institutions like
2:31
Speaker 1: Yale and Harvard, who let him hover around, stroke checks,
2:34
Speaker 1: fund research, and act like he was still this great
2:37
Speaker 1: patron of science and learning. They put a shine on
2:40
Speaker 1: him when the world was starting to see the dirt.
2:42
Speaker 1: They were part of the cover, part of the PR
2:44
Speaker 1: machine that kept him in the shadows just long enough
2:46
Speaker 1: for him to keep doing what he was doing. Without them,
2:50
Speaker 1: his comeback tour would have been dead on arrival. But no,
2:54
Speaker 1: they let him walk in the front door because money
2:56
Speaker 1: erases sins when you're wearing Ivy League robes. And after
3:00
Speaker 1: all this, you still see these schools shrugging it off.
3:03
Speaker 1: We're reviewing our donor policies. Oh, really? Reviewing? After the fact.
3:09
Speaker 1: You weren't reviewing when he was shaking your hands and
3:11
Speaker 1: cutting checks. You weren't reviewing when his name was plastered
3:14
Speaker 1: on programs and dinners. You weren't reviewing when your professor's
3:18
Speaker 1: and administrators were happy to rub elbows with them. No,
3:21
Speaker 1: you're only reviewing now because your asses got caught. So yeah,
3:26
Speaker 1: Harvard gets the headlines, and they deserve them. But Yale?
3:29
Speaker 1: They don't get to skate. Neither does Princeton. Neither do
3:32
Speaker 1: the others. They were all in the same game, chasing
3:35
Speaker 1: the same money, banking on the same silence, and they
3:38
Speaker 1: thought people weren't paying attention. And they were dead wrong.
3:42
Speaker 1: Because every working guy and gal, every parent who sacrifices
3:45
Speaker 1: to send their kid to school... every taxpayer who props
3:48
Speaker 1: up this broken-ass system, we all see it now. The
3:52
Speaker 1: mask is off. The hypocrisy is out there for everyone
3:56
Speaker 1: to see. And if these institutions think they can wait
4:00
Speaker 1: us out, think we'll forget, think the story will fade, well,
4:04
Speaker 1: they've got another thing coming. Because the truth is out now,
4:08
Speaker 1: and it wasn't just Harvard, it was Yale, it was
4:10
Speaker 1: the whole rotten network of elite universities, and they all
4:13
Speaker 1: sold out their souls for Jeffrey Epstein's money. Today's article
4:18
Speaker 1: is from the Yale News and the headline, Epstein's 2003
4:22
Speaker 1: Birthday Album Signed by Three Former Yale Professors. This article
4:27
Speaker 1: was authored by Asher Boyskin. Three former Yale faculty members
4:33
Speaker 1: and other Yale affiliates left personal notes in a 50th
4:36
Speaker 1: birthday book for Jeffrey Epstein that a congressional committee released
4:40
Speaker 1: last month. The House Oversight Committee on September 8th published
4:44
Speaker 1: scans of the 238-page album, which was assembled in 2003
4:49
Speaker 1: by Epstein's longtime associate, you mean co-conspirator, fellow child abuser,
4:54
Speaker 1: general all-around scumbag and bipedal serpent, right? Glenn Maxwell, and
4:58
Speaker 1: later obtained through a subpoena of his estate. The outcry
5:02
Speaker 1: over the financier, pedophiles, sexual abuse of women and girls
5:06
Speaker 1: intensified over the summer after the Justice Department released a
5:10
Speaker 1: memorandum saying it would not release extensive evidence related to him.
5:15
Speaker 1: And that's when this whole thing really blew up, right?
5:18
Speaker 1: When they decided to release that letter. Because up until then,
5:22
Speaker 1: everybody was under the impression that an investigation was still happening.
5:26
Speaker 1: But the truth is, I don't believe that any investigation
5:28
Speaker 1: was ever even underway. You really think they were still
5:32
Speaker 1: looking for Jeffrey Epstein's associates? Stop it. They don't care.
5:36
Speaker 1: And I'll keep driving that point home as much as
5:38
Speaker 1: I have to. If you think that these people care
5:41
Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein and his crimes, you're crazy. They had
5:44
Speaker 1: every chance in the world to stop this man. They
5:47
Speaker 1: chose not to. All of them. The album's table of
5:52
Speaker 1: contents identifies Mortimer Zuckerman, who once lectured on city and
5:56
Speaker 1: regional planning at Yale, physicist Lee Smolin, a former assistant
6:00
Speaker 1: professor in the 80s, and psychiatrist Henry Jarecki, an adjunct
6:05
Speaker 1: who retired from the School of Medicine last year as contributors. Now,
6:09
Speaker 1: of course, all these people will tell you they have
6:11
Speaker 1: no idea what was going on. And according to them,
6:14
Speaker 1: Epstein was an upstanding guy, right? Hell of a fella,
6:17
Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein guy. None of the three former faculty
6:21
Speaker 1: members responded to the news request for comment. And that's
6:24
Speaker 1: what happens time and time again. People get called out
6:27
Speaker 1: for their relationships with Epstein, and then they just turtle up.
6:31
Speaker 1: So that leads to people thinking they have something to hide.
6:34
Speaker 1: Now can you imagine somebody saying that you were friends
6:36
Speaker 1: with this dude, or that you were involved with his
6:38
Speaker 1: abuse or whatever, and not defending your name? I don't
6:41
Speaker 1: know anybody who's just going to turtle up and not
6:44
Speaker 1: have any kind of comment or challenge the assertions that
6:48
Speaker 1: are being made about them. Unless, of course, you have
6:51
Speaker 1: something to hide. The album also features notes or images
6:55
Speaker 1: from Nobel laureate Murray Gellman, 48, Epstein's longtime attorney Alan Dershowitz, Law, 62,
7:03
Speaker 1: and former president Bill Clinton, Law, 73. It's a big club, folks,
7:09
Speaker 1: and none of us are invited. And I mean, this
7:11
Speaker 1: goes all the way back to, you know, Bush and
7:13
Speaker 1: the Skull and Bone Society and all these different groups
7:15
Speaker 1: that these people are a part of that people like
7:18
Speaker 1: us would be laughed at of. You really think if
7:21
Speaker 1: you or I showed up to one of these parties
7:23
Speaker 1: or one of these events, we'd become part of the crew?
7:26
Speaker 1: That's not how this works. You have to be born
7:28
Speaker 1: into it, right? Or you have to have so much money,
7:31
Speaker 1: you force your way into it. The rest of us, well,
7:34
Speaker 1: we're just pieces on the chessboard. The Daily Pennsylvanian reported
7:39
Speaker 1: that University of Pennsylvania alumni, such as President Donald Trump, Zuckerman,
7:45
Speaker 1: 72 Nobel Prize winner Gerald Edelman, and Philadelphia 76ers owner
7:50
Speaker 1: Josh Harris, signed the album. And Harris shouldn't surprise anybody. Now,
7:54
Speaker 1: Josh Harris also was a partner at Apollo Global with
7:58
Speaker 1: Leon Black. And there was this big kerfuffle over Leon
8:03
Speaker 1: Black's departure. That led to Mark Rowan taking over, who
8:07
Speaker 1: was the third partner, and that iced Josh Harris out.
8:11
Speaker 1: And that's why Josh Harris ended up leaving Apollo Global.
8:14
Speaker 1: But as far as Josh Harris having some kind of
8:16
Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein besides that, I don't know. Honestly, I
8:20
Speaker 1: don't know. Maybe. Maybe they did. But it seems like
8:24
Speaker 1: Josh Harris was one of the factors of Leon Black
8:27
Speaker 1: leaving Apollo Global. So I'm not too sure how far
8:31
Speaker 1: Josh Harris and Jeffrey Epstein's relationship go. but they definitely
8:35
Speaker 1: were friendly, or at the very least they've met before
8:38
Speaker 1: and had some association. And the Harvard Crimson reported that
8:42
Speaker 1: two-time acting Harvard president Henry Rosofsky, among several other university affiliates,
8:48
Speaker 1: also contributed. Lee Smolin, who taught physics at Yale from
8:52
Speaker 1: 84 to 88 as an assistant professor, has made major
8:56
Speaker 1: contributions to the field of theoretical physics, appears in Epstein's
9:00
Speaker 1: birthday book under the category of Scientist. In 2019, Smolin
9:05
Speaker 1: told The Verge, a technology news outlet, that he saw
9:08
Speaker 1: Epstein at scientific conferences in 2007 and had no contact
9:12
Speaker 1: with him since 2008. I was one of his first students,
9:15
Speaker 1: Vicar Hussein, who was a student from 85 to 89,
9:20
Speaker 1: who took a course on general relativity with Smolin at
9:23
Speaker 1: Yale and later had him as his doctoral advisor wrote
9:26
Speaker 1: to the news. He noted that it was difficult to
9:29
Speaker 1: first working with Smolin as he approached research like an artist,
9:33
Speaker 1: loved crazy ideas, did not encourage regular meetings, and let
9:36
Speaker 1: students explore freely. Well, I don't know anything about how
9:40
Speaker 1: the scientific process works, but seems like a good way
9:43
Speaker 1: to go about it, right? You want people to be
9:45
Speaker 1: independent thinkers, want them to try and solve some problems,
9:48
Speaker 1: so that doesn't sound so bad. Hussain added that Smolin's
9:52
Speaker 1: inclusion in the album came as a bit of a surprise.
9:55
Speaker 1: But on the other hand, Epstein was known to collect people,
9:58
Speaker 1: including prominent academicians. by organizing fully funded conferences in exotic locations.
10:04
Speaker 1: Let me translate that for you. What he means by
10:07
Speaker 1: exotic location is Jeffrey Epstein's disgusting ass island. That's what
10:11
Speaker 1: he means. Henry Jarecki, identified as a friend, praised Epstein
10:16
Speaker 1: in his note for teaching him more than I expected
10:19
Speaker 1: to at this time of my life. And all these
10:22
Speaker 1: crazy notes that were sent to Epstein, we're going to
10:24
Speaker 1: have to dive deeper into them. Because I'm sure some
10:26
Speaker 1: of them have double meanings. Now, not all of them, obviously.
10:30
Speaker 1: But some of them, I bet you they do. You
10:32
Speaker 1: really think these guys didn't share some kind of inside joke?
10:35
Speaker 1: They most certainly did. He included a message from his
10:40
Speaker 1: house astrologer describing Epstein as a fiercely intelligent, highly complex
10:44
Speaker 1: individual who favored working in private, or better yet, utter secrecy.
10:49
Speaker 1: A house astrologer? Say what now? A house astrologer? I mean,
10:55
Speaker 1: how much more evidence do we need before we admit
10:58
Speaker 1: that these people are fucking weird? Jarecki was sued last
11:03
Speaker 1: year in federal court in New York by a woman
11:05
Speaker 1: claiming to be a victim of sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein.
11:09
Speaker 1: In the complaint, which refers to the woman as Jane
11:11
Speaker 1: Doe 11, Jarecki is accused of raping her on multiple
11:15
Speaker 1: occasions and between 2011 and 2014, after Epstein referred her
11:20
Speaker 1: to the psychiatrist for mental health treatment following his own
11:24
Speaker 1: alleged sexual abuses. In April, the unnamed woman voluntarily dropped
11:28
Speaker 1: her lawsuit against Jarecki, according to court filings. In November
11:33
Speaker 1: of 2023, Jarecki was celebrated in a medical school press
11:37
Speaker 1: release for having been awarded the Pardris Humanitarian Prize in
11:42
Speaker 1: Mental Health by the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. Well,
11:46
Speaker 1: that's pretty crazy, huh? This celebrated brain doctor doesn't have
11:49
Speaker 1: a brain in his head. Hanging out with Epstein. Fuck
11:52
Speaker 1: is wrong with you? Jarecki retired from the School of
11:57
Speaker 1: Medicine in 2024, according to a university spokesperson. Zuckerman, also
12:03
Speaker 1: listed as a friend, was the editor-in-chief of the U.S.
12:06
Speaker 1: News and World Report and owner of the New York
12:09
Speaker 1: Daily News. He pledged $ 200 million to Columbia University in
12:13
Speaker 1: 2012 to establish the MindBrain Behavior Institute, though he paused
12:17
Speaker 1: millions in funding in 2024, citing the university's failure to
12:22
Speaker 1: address rising anti-Semitism on campus. Well, who cares about molesters, right?
12:28
Speaker 1: Who cares about human trafficking rings on campus? But God
12:31
Speaker 1: forbid somebody speaks out and has a different opinion. And look,
12:35
Speaker 1: before you jump to any conclusions... I'm not saying it's
12:37
Speaker 1: right or wrong, not saying I agree with it, but
12:40
Speaker 1: people are allowed to protest, at least as far as
12:43
Speaker 1: I'm concerned. If you're not being violent, you should be
12:46
Speaker 1: able to protest. But you have people like Zuckerman and
12:49
Speaker 1: Les Wexner and all these other donors who are more
12:52
Speaker 1: fired up about people protesting on campus than they ever
12:56
Speaker 1: were about breaking bread with Jeffrey Epstein. Zuckerman was invited
13:01
Speaker 1: to speak at a Yale political union event in 93. Gelman,
13:05
Speaker 1: a Yale alumnus, who won the 1969 Nobel Prize in
13:10
Speaker 1: Physics and taught at Caltech, signed a page with a
13:13
Speaker 1: photo of himself yawning. Dershowitz, who edited the Yale Law
13:17
Speaker 1: Journal and graduated first in his class, also wrote an
13:21
Speaker 1: entry in the birthday book. Dershowitz, a longtime Harvard law professor,
13:25
Speaker 1: served on Epstein's legal defense team and helped Epstein secure
13:28
Speaker 1: the 2008 plea deal in which Epstein pleaded guilty in
13:32
Speaker 1: Florida to two state charges of soliciting a minor for prostitution.
13:37
Speaker 1: You cannot solicit a minor for prostitution. Minors cannot consent.
13:40
Speaker 1: Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Dershowitz has
13:44
Speaker 1: said that he did not recall contributing an entry to
13:46
Speaker 1: the birthday book. Of course he didn't. This guy has
13:49
Speaker 1: more memory problems than anybody on earth. Well, unless you
13:52
Speaker 1: ask him about, you know, any kind of massage or
13:55
Speaker 1: any kind of hanging out with Epstein off the books.
14:01
Speaker 1: An entry attributed to Clinton is included in the birthday album,
14:04
Speaker 1: Clinton Flew on Epstein's Private Plane, on four separate occasions
14:07
Speaker 1: for trips on behalf of the Clinton Foundation. Way more
14:11
Speaker 1: times than that. Get your shit together, Yale Deli News.
14:16
Speaker 1: Four times. You mean about 40 times? How about the
14:19
Speaker 1: fact that he had his own plane on the seat?
14:22
Speaker 1: How about the fact that he got himself a nice
14:23
Speaker 1: little massage in the airport from Shante Davies, a trafficking victim?
14:28
Speaker 1: Give me a break, dude. President Clinton knows nothing about
14:32
Speaker 1: the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to. Angel Arena,
14:37
Speaker 1: a spokesperson for Bill Clinton, said in a statement posted
14:40
Speaker 1: online by a spokesperson in 2019, Folks, I have some
14:43
Speaker 1: breaking news. Bill Clinton is a liar. Epstein was visiting
14:49
Speaker 1: a fellow in Harvard's psychology department during the 2005-2006 year,
14:54
Speaker 1: according to a 2020 Harvard report on his ties to
14:57
Speaker 1: the university. So look, it's not just Harvard, and it's
15:02
Speaker 1: not just Yale. All of these colleges from Arizona State,
15:06
Speaker 1: I mean, you name it, they were all accepting Jeffrey
15:09
Speaker 1: Epstein's money, they were all accepting his patronage, and they
15:12
Speaker 1: all knew what he was. But now that the chips
15:14
Speaker 1: are down, and the house of cards has come tumbling down,
15:17
Speaker 1: now you had no idea who he was or what
15:19
Speaker 1: he was? Nice try, but I have bad news for you.
15:24
Speaker 1: Nobody buys it. Not the polar bears of the great
15:26
Speaker 1: white north, and not the penguins down in Antarctica. Nobody's
15:30
Speaker 1: buying the BS that you're selling. Alright folks, that's going
15:35
Speaker 1: to do it for this one. All of the information
15:37
Speaker 1: that goes with this episode can be found in the
15:40
Speaker 1: description box. What's up everyone and welcome to another episode
15:49
Speaker 1: of the Epstein Chronicles. Over the years, Leon Black has
15:53
Speaker 1: donated a lot of money to Dartmouth College and even
15:56
Speaker 1: has his name on a building. And while that was
16:00
Speaker 1: all fine and well previously, now, with renewed interest in
16:03
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein's associates, it's becoming a problem.
16:10
Speaker 1: And groups on campus and alumni, they're calling for Leon
16:14
Speaker 1: Black's name to be taken off of this building. And
16:19
Speaker 1: I don't think that they're wrong. Why would you want
16:23
Speaker 1: to be associated with somebody like Leon Black? At the
16:27
Speaker 1: very least, he enabled Jeffrey Epstein at the very least.
16:32
Speaker 1: And Lord knows what else. But if I was some university,
16:36
Speaker 1: the last thing I'd want is Leon Black's name on
16:38
Speaker 1: a building. And the same goes for Les Wexner down
16:42
Speaker 1: in Ohio State, where administrators and big shots on campus
16:46
Speaker 1: are fighting tooth and nail to protect Les Wexner. So
16:50
Speaker 1: is the same thing going to happen up here in Dartmouth?
16:52
Speaker 1: Why don't we jump into this article and see what's up.
16:55
Speaker 1: This article was published by the Valley News and the headline,
16:59
Speaker 1: Dartmouth Group Renews Calls to Rename Arts Center Bankrolled by
17:02
Speaker 1: Epstein Associate. The author of this article is Alex Hansen.
17:07
Speaker 1: A broad cross-section of the Dartmouth College community has renewed
17:11
Speaker 1: calls to remove the name of financier Leon Black, an
17:14
Speaker 1: alumnus and former trustee from the College Visual Arts Center.
17:20
Speaker 1: In response, the College Board of Trustees has announced that
17:23
Speaker 1: it will appoint a committee to study naming across campus.
17:27
Speaker 1: At its next meeting, In June. For critics of Black
17:31
Speaker 1: who paid $ 170 million to Jeffrey Epstein after Epstein's 2008
17:36
Speaker 1: guilty plea to soliciting prostitution. Whoa, hold on. Soliciting prostitution?
17:42
Speaker 1: That doesn't tell the whole story. An underage girl. He
17:46
Speaker 1: molested her. And then they protected him by saying that
17:49
Speaker 1: he solicited a quote-unquote prostitute. It's much more sanitized, right?
17:54
Speaker 1: You hear that, you're like, oh, Jeffrey Epstein, a prostitute.
17:57
Speaker 1: What's the big deal? Well, the big deal is that
17:59
Speaker 1: it wasn't a prostitute. It was a child. I'm glad
18:04
Speaker 1: that they're being thoughtful, but they've really had a lot
18:07
Speaker 1: of time to think on this issue. Diana Whitney, a
18:10
Speaker 1: 1995 Dartmouth graduate and co-founder of Dartmouth Community Against Gender
18:14
Speaker 1: Harassment and Sexual Violence said in a phone interview, I
18:18
Speaker 1: think any more delay on this is unconscionable, she added. Well,
18:22
Speaker 1: I agree. But when you have that kind of money
18:25
Speaker 1: and you're that big of a donor, you're going to
18:27
Speaker 1: get special treatment. You're going to get extra time. And
18:32
Speaker 1: that's what we're seeing with Leon Black. They're not just
18:35
Speaker 1: going to rush to take his name off the building.
18:37
Speaker 1: What they're going to try and do is find a
18:39
Speaker 1: loophole or a technicality that helps them avoid doing that.
18:43
Speaker 1: I support the alumni and the students calling for his
18:45
Speaker 1: name to be removed from the visual arts building. Former U.S.
18:49
Speaker 1: Representative Annie McClain Custer said in a phone interview. Custer,
18:55
Speaker 1: a 1978 Dartmouth graduate, revealed in 2016 that she was
18:59
Speaker 1: sexually assaulted as a student. I think it's an important
19:03
Speaker 1: moment for Dartmouth. There is a long and sordid history
19:06
Speaker 1: of sexual assault on campus. Dartmouth should take a stand,
19:10
Speaker 1: and I call upon the president and the trustees to
19:12
Speaker 1: step up and do the right thing. I have my
19:15
Speaker 1: doubts that'll happen. I mean, whenever you're dealing with this
19:17
Speaker 1: kind of dough and this kind of power, it's pretty
19:20
Speaker 1: difficult to... to knock them from their perch. Oh, there's
19:23
Speaker 1: going to be a lot of people that talk a
19:25
Speaker 1: big game, but when it comes to actually putting that
19:27
Speaker 1: into effect and, you know, holding people accountable, it becomes
19:31
Speaker 1: a whole different story. Citing revelations from the Epstein files,
19:36
Speaker 1: Women of Dartmouth, the college's largest alumni affinity association with
19:40
Speaker 1: more than 30,000 members, wrote to President Cian Beloc and
19:45
Speaker 1: the trustees on April 7th to say that the group
19:48
Speaker 1: will firmly support the college in renaming the Black Family
19:51
Speaker 1: Visual Arts Center by removing both the Black Family and
19:54
Speaker 1: Leon Black, 73 names. The time has come for action,
19:59
Speaker 1: now given the indications and evidence of indefensible misconduct. I mean,
20:03
Speaker 1: is she wrong? It's been a long time coming, and
20:07
Speaker 1: let's not act like this is all new. Leon Black
20:10
Speaker 1: has his own allegations. Not like it's just that he
20:14
Speaker 1: was friends with Epstein, right? This man, if you want
20:16
Speaker 1: to call him that, has also been accused of vile abuse.
20:22
Speaker 1: Dartmouth's Student Government Association and the Student and Presidential Committee
20:26
Speaker 1: on Sexual Assault called for the college to remove Black's
20:29
Speaker 1: name from the Visual Arts Center in a message to
20:32
Speaker 1: undergraduates on April 8th. The trustees met from April 10th
20:37
Speaker 1: to the 12th And a summary released by the college's
20:40
Speaker 1: newsroom included two paragraphs about the plan to study naming.
20:44
Speaker 1: And every time I hear about one of these studies,
20:47
Speaker 1: or we're going to form a commission, what I really
20:49
Speaker 1: hear is, we're trying to kick the can down the road. Oh,
20:53
Speaker 1: we'll wait it out. Yeah, we're still investigating. And then
20:58
Speaker 1: when the next person comes up, and they're in charge,
21:00
Speaker 1: the next president or whatever, they'll be the one to
21:03
Speaker 1: deal with it. And that's how these universities and anybody
21:07
Speaker 1: connected to Epstein, has approached it. It's always about kicking
21:12
Speaker 1: the can down the road, blaming somebody else, not looking
21:15
Speaker 1: in the mirror. And the same goes for Dartmouth. They
21:20
Speaker 1: should just do the right thing and get rid of
21:22
Speaker 1: this dude's name. Naming is a topic the board has
21:25
Speaker 1: wanted to address thoughtfully for some time, Chairman Greg Lamaca,
21:29
Speaker 1: a 91 Dartmouth graduate, said in the Dartmouth News story.
21:33
Speaker 1: Establishing this committee gives us a clear structure to do
21:36
Speaker 1: that work, to engage the community, weigh different perspectives, and
21:40
Speaker 1: arrive at a process that reflects Dartmouth's values. Well, I
21:44
Speaker 1: don't think that having Leon Black's name on a building
21:46
Speaker 1: on campus is upholding the so-called values of Dartmouth. I
21:51
Speaker 1: would think that they'd want that name off the building ASAP.
21:55
Speaker 1: Since then, the editorial board of the Dartmouth, the campus newspaper,
21:59
Speaker 1: has called for the removal of Black's name. We take
22:03
Speaker 1: seriously the allegations that have been made against Leon Black
22:06
Speaker 1: and we continue to evaluate any new information that comes
22:09
Speaker 1: to light with the seriousness it deserves. Dartmouth spokesperson Jana
22:15
Speaker 1: Barnello said in a written statement, Dartmouth currently has no
22:19
Speaker 1: financial relationship with him. Well, great. Then get rid of
22:22
Speaker 1: the name on the building. What's the big deal? What
22:27
Speaker 1: are you waiting for? If he has no relationship with
22:30
Speaker 1: you guys now and he's not donating any more money,
22:33
Speaker 1: It should be an easy decision, right? Now, of course,
22:36
Speaker 1: I'm sure that there's some thought going into it that
22:39
Speaker 1: they might have to refund the money or something, and
22:41
Speaker 1: that's very possible. But why not find other donors to
22:45
Speaker 1: step up to incur that cost? And listen, sometimes doing
22:49
Speaker 1: the right thing comes with a cost. And in this case,
22:52
Speaker 1: for Dartmouth, that could be a financial burden. But would
22:55
Speaker 1: they rather be burdened by being associated with Jeffrey Epstein's BFF,
23:00
Speaker 1: Leon Black? calls to remove Black's name from the Visual
23:03
Speaker 1: Arts Center date back to 2020 and 2021, when links
23:07
Speaker 1: between Black and Epstein began to draw greater scrutiny. Black,
23:13
Speaker 1: a 1973 Dartmouth graduate who later served as a trustee,
23:16
Speaker 1: co-founded Apollo Global Management, a private equity firm. In 1990,
23:21
Speaker 1: his net worth is estimated between $ 13 billion and $ 17 billion,
23:25
Speaker 1: according to Forbes and Bloomberg. The Black family, donated $ 48
23:30
Speaker 1: million toward the construction of the Visual Arts Center, which
23:34
Speaker 1: opened in 2012 as a Lebanon Street entrance to the
23:37
Speaker 1: campus and the face of the college's arts district, which
23:41
Speaker 1: now includes multi-million dollar renovations and expansions of the Hood
23:45
Speaker 1: Museum and the Hopkins Center for the Arts. Black also
23:50
Speaker 1: commissioned and donated Dartmouth panels, a set of five vertical
23:54
Speaker 1: panels by celebrated artist Ellsworth Kelly that hang on the
23:58
Speaker 1: back wall of the Hopkins Center opposite the visual arts building.
24:03
Speaker 1: Who cares? Great, good for him. And if he was
24:06
Speaker 1: a decent dude who wasn't a scumbag awesome. But all
24:10
Speaker 1: the philanthropy in the world doesn't change who you are.
24:14
Speaker 1: And trying to use it as a shield that's some
24:17
Speaker 1: dirty ass work. The Dartmouth group points to a growing
24:22
Speaker 1: body of evidence tying Black to Epstein, who served three
24:24
Speaker 1: years of detention from 2008 to 2011 after his guilty
24:29
Speaker 1: plea for soliciting a teenager for prostitution. Three years? What?
24:34
Speaker 1: Try 13 months. You kidding me right now? Three years.
24:38
Speaker 1: I wish he had three years. You mean Diddy's doing
24:40
Speaker 1: three years, right? Dozens of women have come forward to
24:47
Speaker 1: testify that they were trafficked by Epstein and his helpers
24:50
Speaker 1: for sex. Epstein was facing federal charges when he was
24:53
Speaker 1: found dead in his prison cell in New York in
24:56
Speaker 1: August of 2019. His death was ruled a suicide. Black's
25:02
Speaker 1: $ 170 million in payments to Epstein from 2012 to 2017
25:06
Speaker 1: were for tax and investing advice, Black has said. Though
25:11
Speaker 1: Epstein's advice saved Black over $ 1 billion in tax obligations...
25:15
Speaker 1: Documents from the Epstein files indicate the payments were intended
25:19
Speaker 1: to pay Epstein's operations, which included trafficking teenagers for sex.
25:25
Speaker 1: A 2023 settlement, agreement between Black and the U.S. Virgin Islands,
25:29
Speaker 1: where Epstein maintained private island compound and a tax shelter,
25:33
Speaker 1: says that Jeffrey Epstein used the money Black paid him
25:36
Speaker 1: to partially fund his operation in the Virgin Islands. Well, yeah,
25:41
Speaker 1: he did. That money that Black was giving him What
25:44
Speaker 1: do you think Epstein was doing with it? You can't
25:48
Speaker 1: fly those jets for free. Gotta pay everybody. Gotta have
25:51
Speaker 1: money for that. And there was always somebody like Leon
25:53
Speaker 1: Black more than willing to help Epstein out. A March 20th,
25:58
Speaker 1: 2026 letter from U.S. Senator Ron Wyden to Black points
26:03
Speaker 1: out that Black paid 30 times more for tax advice
26:06
Speaker 1: from Epstein than he did to several firms. Like, at
26:11
Speaker 1: this point, does anyone really believe that Leon Black was
26:13
Speaker 1: just giving Epstein money for tax advice? And if you
26:16
Speaker 1: believe that, I would love for you to explain to
26:18
Speaker 1: me step by step what brought you to that point.
26:22
Speaker 1: I truly want to know. Because I find it very
26:24
Speaker 1: hard to believe that he was paying that kind of
26:26
Speaker 1: money for advice. Black has denied wrongdoing and has said
26:31
Speaker 1: that he was unaware of Epstein's illicit activity. When more
26:34
Speaker 1: information about Epstein came to light, Black said he regretted
26:38
Speaker 1: the connection. In 2021, Black stepped down as chairman of
26:42
Speaker 1: Apollo Global Management and as chairman of the board of
26:45
Speaker 1: the Museum of Modern Art, though he retains an ownership
26:49
Speaker 1: stake in Apollo and is still on the MoMA board.
26:52
Speaker 1: Of course he is. It was all performative. You really
26:55
Speaker 1: think that Leon Black suffered real ramifications here? An email
27:02
Speaker 1: to Susan Estrich, a lawyer for Black, was not returned
27:05
Speaker 1: by deadline. Estrich told the Dartmouth Times, that an independent
27:09
Speaker 1: investigation concluded that Black had no awareness of Epstein's criminal
27:13
Speaker 1: activity leading to his arrest in 2019. No, not at all.
27:17
Speaker 1: Had no idea. Just another case of one of the
27:20
Speaker 1: smartest men in the room not being so smart. Black
27:25
Speaker 1: also has been accused of sexual assault allegations that he denies.
27:29
Speaker 1: One lawsuit by a woman who claims Black raped her
27:32
Speaker 1: at Epstein's townhouse when she was 16 remains pending. Of
27:36
Speaker 1: the three civil lawsuits filed against Mr. Black, one has
27:40
Speaker 1: been dismissed, the other withdrawn, and the other is currently
27:43
Speaker 1: facing a case terminating motion for sanctions, Estrich told the Dartmouth.
27:49
Speaker 1: There is absolutely no truth to any of the allegations
27:52
Speaker 1: against Mr. Black. I have my doubts about that. No
27:56
Speaker 1: truth whatsoever? None, huh? Okay. Epstein was an early and
28:00
Speaker 1: long-time director of the Black Family Foundation, through which Black's
28:03
Speaker 1: donations to Dartmouth passed. His name appears in the Foundation
28:07
Speaker 1: tax forms in 2012, though the Black family has said
28:11
Speaker 1: that was an error and that Epstein's directorship ended in 2007.
28:16
Speaker 1: Sure it did. Sure it did, Mr. Black. The Epstein
28:21
Speaker 1: files also contain emails from 2014 in which Epstein refers
28:26
Speaker 1: to Black's donations to Dartmouth. The file also includes a
28:30
Speaker 1: May 27, 2014 letter from Robert W. Lasher, Dartmouth's Senior
28:35
Speaker 1: Vice President for Advancement to Black that details payments for
28:39
Speaker 1: the Visual Arts Center, $ 500, 000 for the renovation of the
28:43
Speaker 1: Dartmouth President's House, a campus building, and $ 3 million for
28:47
Speaker 1: the Ellsworth-Kelly Commission, an amount the college has never revealed publicly.
28:54
Speaker 1: The Dartmouth groups argue that Black's links to Epstein taint
28:57
Speaker 1: the Visual Arts Center, that bears his family name, and
29:00
Speaker 1: that seeing Black's name causes undue grief to survivors who
29:04
Speaker 1: of sexual assault. Well, I mean, if you were somebody
29:07
Speaker 1: that was on campus who was assaulted by somebody, and
29:10
Speaker 1: you have to see Leon Black's name all the time,
29:12
Speaker 1: I could see that. In their refusal to change the name,
29:16
Speaker 1: Dartmouth's administration sullies Hanover and normalizes Epstein's apparatus, all without explanation.
29:22
Speaker 1: Marianne Mendenhall, a 2002 Dartmouth graduate, who is now a
29:27
Speaker 1: public defender, wrote in an April 14th op-ed in the Dartmouth.
29:32
Speaker 1: And 24 hours a day, Dartmouth broadcasts this rot to
29:35
Speaker 1: its future rich guys. The margins for morality have no
29:38
Speaker 1: limits if you get rich. enough. Seeing Black's name on
29:42
Speaker 1: the campus building is an injurious, insulting, persistent, and painful
29:46
Speaker 1: reminder to women and men that sexual predators often harm
29:50
Speaker 1: others with impunity. The Women of Dartmouth statement says, At
29:56
Speaker 1: two recent Women of Dartmouth town halls, black was one
29:58
Speaker 1: of the top three topics. In the post-event discussion, alumni
30:03
Speaker 1: were frustrated and indignant that a change had not already occurred,
30:08
Speaker 1: the statement says. Removing the name is not merely a
30:11
Speaker 1: symbolic gesture, the statement says. It's a necessary step to
30:14
Speaker 1: protect the future and the integrity of the college. And
30:18
Speaker 1: for me, I think that's the real issue. Do you
30:22
Speaker 1: want to be associated with Jeffrey Epstein and those adjacent
30:24
Speaker 1: to him? or would you rather just erase the stain?
30:28
Speaker 1: I know what I'd rather do. Regardless of whether Epstein
30:34
Speaker 1: held an official title, files confirm that within his capacity
30:37
Speaker 1: as director and personal consultant to Black, Epstein advised and
30:41
Speaker 1: planned Black's donations to Dartmouth. The student government and the
30:46
Speaker 1: Committee on Sexual Assault wrote in their message to undergraduates,
30:50
Speaker 1: Those donations are a financial scar on this institution. The
30:55
Speaker 1: renewed campaign to take Black's name down is a sign
30:57
Speaker 1: both that the ongoing release and investigation of the Epstein
31:01
Speaker 1: files seems likely to continue to reveal further links between
31:05
Speaker 1: Epstein and Leon Black, and that the issue isn't going
31:09
Speaker 1: to fade into the background at Dartmouth, not when it
31:12
Speaker 1: comes to Leon Black. There are many skeletons still to
31:16
Speaker 1: be uncovered, and in my opinion, Dartmouth would be well-served
31:20
Speaker 1: to get ahead of this bomb blast. Wyden's recent letter
31:24
Speaker 1: to Black runs 20 pages and poses an array of
31:27
Speaker 1: questions about Black's financial dealings, including tax compliance. In the letter,
31:32
Speaker 1: Wyden asked for answers by April 13th, a call to
31:35
Speaker 1: Wyden's office in Washington asking if the deadline had been
31:38
Speaker 1: met was not returned. Furthermore, the files remove any lingering
31:43
Speaker 1: doubt as to whether you were connected to women in
31:46
Speaker 1: Epstein's network and the evidence that Epstein and powerful associates
31:50
Speaker 1: in the U.S. and abroad were. were surveilling and paying
31:53
Speaker 1: off women on your behalf is highly disturbing, Wyden wrote.
31:56
Speaker 1: I mean, he had Epstein reaching out to people in
31:58
Speaker 1: the FSB over in Russia to intimidate people. Like, for real?
32:06
Speaker 1: I don't think the issue is going to go away,
32:08
Speaker 1: Stan Kola, a Dartmouth graduate who worked at the college
32:11
Speaker 1: in development and alumni relations for 20 years before retiring
32:15
Speaker 1: in 2005, said in a phone interview. We can see
32:19
Speaker 1: how it's going to play out in Congress. There are
32:21
Speaker 1: people on both sides of the aisle who want this
32:23
Speaker 1: to be dealt with in a public way. Cola spent
32:27
Speaker 1: two years working on the Crisis Hotline for WISE, a
32:30
Speaker 1: Lebanon-based organization that advocates for victims of domestic and sexual violence.
32:36
Speaker 1: The Epstein investigation dovetails with efforts to end sexual assaults
32:40
Speaker 1: on the Dartmouth campus and in society at large, he said.
32:44
Speaker 1: I know how much of this issue matters, Cola said,
32:48
Speaker 1: for the women involved. who are asking for support, he added,
32:52
Speaker 1: it seems to me that the college ought to be
32:53
Speaker 1: out in front. That would be a great idea, but
32:56
Speaker 1: it's all about money, not people. Even when we're talking
33:00
Speaker 1: about these universities, and I think that much is clear.
33:08
Speaker 1: Custer was silent for 40 years about her own experience
33:11
Speaker 1: at Dartmouth and began to speak out after it became
33:14
Speaker 1: clear that little had changed since she was a student.
33:18
Speaker 1: I realized at the time that my generation's silence made
33:21
Speaker 1: us complicit, she said. She founded Congress Bipartisan Task Force
33:25
Speaker 1: to end sexual violence and has been engaged in efforts
33:28
Speaker 1: at Dartmouth and in New Hampshire on the issue. I'm
33:32
Speaker 1: disappointed that it's taken this long to address the concerns
33:35
Speaker 1: that have been raised, Custer said. We should have a
33:38
Speaker 1: higher standard. And I agree with that, they should. There's
33:43
Speaker 1: no way in hell that Leon Black's name should be
33:45
Speaker 1: on that building. But that said... I don't think they're
33:48
Speaker 1: going to be successful. And I think that Leon Black's
33:51
Speaker 1: name is going to remain on that building because at
33:54
Speaker 1: the end of the day, you have to remember that
33:56
Speaker 1: these universities are a business. And when it comes to businesses,
34:00
Speaker 1: you already know it's always profits over people. All the
34:06
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
34:09
Speaker 1: the description box. here on the show, we're going to
34:13
Speaker 1: talk about the Kennedy School at Harvard and how the
34:18
Speaker 1: fellows who are linked to the people in question, we're
34:24
Speaker 1: talking the Dubins and the Wexners of the world, how
34:27
Speaker 1: they're presented with a bit of a dilemma, right? The
34:29
Speaker 1: people who have been endowed, the people who have accepted
34:32
Speaker 1: the scholarships and the names of those people, now they
34:35
Speaker 1: have a bit of a moral dilemma on their hands.
34:37
Speaker 1: So we're going to jump into this article from the
34:39
Speaker 1: Harvard Crimson And the headline is, For Kennedy School Fellows,
34:44
Speaker 1: Epstein-Link Donors Present a Moral Dilemma. This article was authored
34:49
Speaker 1: by Michelle G. Carrilla and Emma R. Schumer. When students
34:55
Speaker 1: are selected for the Dubin Graduate Fellowship for Emerging Leaders
34:59
Speaker 1: at the Harvard Kennedy School Center for Public Leadership, they
35:02
Speaker 1: make a commitment to effect positive change on the world. Yeah,
35:06
Speaker 1: Glenn Dubin certainly did that, huh? He's just such a
35:08
Speaker 1: positive guy, such a great influence on the world. The
35:12
Speaker 1: guy's an absolute POS, in my opinion. The guy is
35:16
Speaker 1: an absolute piece of shit, in my opinion. What we've
35:22
Speaker 1: heard about him from Virginia, what we've heard about him
35:25
Speaker 1: with the Swedish girl in his kitchen and his living room,
35:28
Speaker 1: the creepy ties to Jeffrey Epstein, what more do you need?
35:32
Speaker 1: This guy is obviously a creepy SOB. Endowed by billionaire
35:37
Speaker 1: donor Glenn R. Dubin in 2010, the fellowship offers financial
35:41
Speaker 1: scholarships and a co-curricular program to a handful of students
35:45
Speaker 1: each year who have shown strong character, academic excellence, and
35:50
Speaker 1: the ability to thrive and lead in the face of adversity,
35:53
Speaker 1: according to the fellowship's website. I mean, for real, you
35:57
Speaker 1: can't write this stuff. So all of the things that
35:59
Speaker 1: Glenn Dubin is not, that's what he's supporting with his fellowship?
36:06
Speaker 1: So go be everything that I'm not, please, because Glenn
36:09
Speaker 1: Dubin is none of those things. He doesn't have strong character.
36:12
Speaker 1: Academic excellence, I have no idea. Maybe he was smart
36:14
Speaker 1: in school. I have no idea. The ability to thrive
36:17
Speaker 1: and lead in the face of adversity. Well, you didn't
36:19
Speaker 1: leave or thrive in the face of adversity. You took
36:22
Speaker 1: a step back and you were forced out of your company.
36:24
Speaker 1: You left your financial company, your investment firm, and you're
36:30
Speaker 1: on the run. So what do you mean? ability to
36:33
Speaker 1: thrive and lead in the face of adversity. You don't
36:35
Speaker 1: have any of these character traits. This year's incoming and
36:41
Speaker 1: outgoing classes of Dubin Fellows expected to focus their efforts
36:45
Speaker 1: on academics and extracurriculars working to fulfill that mission. Instead,
36:49
Speaker 1: some found themselves investing outsized energy into a campaign to
36:53
Speaker 1: sever their fellowship's ties to its benefactor, who maintained a
36:57
Speaker 1: decades-long rapport with the deceased financier, pedophile, and convicted sex
37:02
Speaker 1: offender Jeffrey Epstein. I mean, imagine being one of these
37:08
Speaker 1: kids who worked really hard for one of these fellowships,
37:11
Speaker 1: one of these grants, one of these sort of endowments,
37:13
Speaker 1: and then you get it after all that hard work,
37:16
Speaker 1: and it happens to be from Glenn Dubin, and all
37:18
Speaker 1: of this starts to occur, and now you have to
37:21
Speaker 1: answer questions about how you're related to Dubin, etc., etc. Again,
37:25
Speaker 1: people like Dubin do not care about the fallout. They
37:28
Speaker 1: don't care about any of it. They can go home
37:30
Speaker 1: and swim around in their billions like Scrooge McDuck and
37:34
Speaker 1: just ride everything out and wait for the storm to pass.
37:37
Speaker 1: These kids, on the other hand, well, now their name
37:40
Speaker 1: is forever attached to Glenn Dubin and via Glenn Dubin
37:45
Speaker 1: attached to Jeffrey Epstein. I know if I was one
37:48
Speaker 1: of these kids' parents, I would be so mad by
37:51
Speaker 1: this kind of shit. None of us expected to have
37:56
Speaker 1: a year filled with scandal and a year filled with
37:58
Speaker 1: this level of internal organizing, Dubin fellow and master in
38:02
Speaker 1: public policy candidate Rebecca M. Murr said. We're just a
38:05
Speaker 1: few of many, many students who are incredibly concerned and
38:09
Speaker 1: upset about HKS, Harvard Kennedy Schools, ties to donors who
38:13
Speaker 1: are closely tied to Epstein. Dubin is not the only
38:18
Speaker 1: donor to the center who had a relationship with Epstein.
38:22
Speaker 1: Billionaire Leslie H. Wexner, who also endows a fellowship at
38:26
Speaker 1: the center, engaged Epstein as a financial advisor beginning in
38:29
Speaker 1: the late 1980s. Boy, that is just talk about just
38:33
Speaker 1: scratching the surface, huh? Les Wexner is so much more
38:37
Speaker 1: to Jeffrey Epstein than just a financial advisor, just a
38:40
Speaker 1: money man. That is not... That is not what their
38:44
Speaker 1: relationship was. If you really look at their relationship, they
38:48
Speaker 1: were much closer. I'm talking Sith-level master and apprentice type shit.
38:55
Speaker 1: All right? Darth Sidious and Darth Vader kind of nonsense,
38:58
Speaker 1: in my opinion. And anyone who lets Wexner off the hook,
39:02
Speaker 1: anybody who does not ask the hard questions, anybody who
39:05
Speaker 1: does not hold him up to the same standard that
39:08
Speaker 1: we'd hold up anyone else to, well, I don't even
39:11
Speaker 1: know what to say to you. Like John McClane would
39:14
Speaker 1: say in Die Hard, if you're not part of the
39:17
Speaker 1: effing solution, you're part of the effing problem. Roughly a
39:23
Speaker 1: dozen Kennedy School students, including four current Dubin Fellows, denounced
39:27
Speaker 1: the Kennedy School's support for donors. who had relationships with
39:31
Speaker 1: Epstein and interviews with the Crimson. Many also criticized the
39:35
Speaker 1: Kennedy School for not acknowledging those ties or for inadequately
39:42
Speaker 1: addressing students' concerns. And again, if you pay this money
39:46
Speaker 1: to go to a school like this, you get a
39:48
Speaker 1: scholarship to a school like Harvard, you expect to walk
39:51
Speaker 1: onto that campus and you expect it to be no nonsense,
39:53
Speaker 1: no frills, no BS. I'm here to learn. I'm here
39:56
Speaker 1: to get my $ 500, 000 worth. And I know if it
40:00
Speaker 1: was my kid and I was coming out of my pocket,
40:02
Speaker 1: that's exactly what I would expect. But no. Now these
40:06
Speaker 1: kids have to deal with all of this nonsense. They
40:09
Speaker 1: have to deal with all of the Jeffrey Epstein fallout,
40:11
Speaker 1: all because Harvard is such a den of scum and villainy.
40:21
Speaker 1: Students who receive funding from the donors said Harvard has
40:23
Speaker 1: put them in a thorny situation. They now weigh the
40:26
Speaker 1: value of a Harvard education, which some would not have
40:29
Speaker 1: access to if not for donors' financial support, against their
40:33
Speaker 1: moral opposition to the individuals who provide that funding. It
40:37
Speaker 1: wouldn't even be a question for me, honestly. I would
40:39
Speaker 1: never accept funding from these people. I don't care... If
40:42
Speaker 1: it's to go to Harvard or not, I'd go to
40:43
Speaker 1: a different school. I'd find funding somewhere else. If you're
40:46
Speaker 1: getting funding and you're being accepted to Harvard, you will
40:49
Speaker 1: be accepted to other schools that don't have this stink
40:51
Speaker 1: on them. And I know it's unfortunate to have to
40:54
Speaker 1: say that, but it's the truth. I don't even understand
40:57
Speaker 1: how anyone could be comfortable having their kids even loosely
41:02
Speaker 1: related to these people. Several Dubin fellows characterized the situation
41:08
Speaker 1: as ironic. Alluding to the Kennedy School's description of their fellowship,
41:12
Speaker 1: the fellow said Harvard selected them due to their ability
41:15
Speaker 1: to show leadership when faced with difficult circumstances. But this
41:19
Speaker 1: past year, as students mobilized around ethical concerns about their
41:23
Speaker 1: school's indirect ties to Epstein, they said they believe Harvard
41:26
Speaker 1: itself failed to demonstrate that quality. Again, it's another case
41:30
Speaker 1: of do as I say, not as I do. And
41:32
Speaker 1: we see it not only from financial institutions, we see
41:35
Speaker 1: it from the banks, we see it from politicians, and
41:37
Speaker 1: we see it from just about everybody in a leadership position.
41:41
Speaker 1: All of these people fake the funk. They talk the talk,
41:44
Speaker 1: but never walk the walk. After new information about Epstein's
41:50
Speaker 1: activities began to surface with his July 2019 arrest, reports
41:55
Speaker 1: of Harvard donors' ties to Epstein sparked a tumultuous year
41:58
Speaker 1: at the Center for Public Leadership. After Epstein was convicted
42:02
Speaker 1: of procuring sex with a minor in Florida State Court
42:05
Speaker 1: in 2008, he and Dubin continued to maintain friendly ties. Yeah,
42:09
Speaker 1: so friendly that Epstein was invited to Thanksgiving dinner at
42:12
Speaker 1: the Dubin's house after he got out of prison, with
42:14
Speaker 1: Dubin's little kids around. In my opinion, Dubin has a
42:20
Speaker 1: few screws loose. In 2010, Dubin donated $ 5 million to
42:27
Speaker 1: the Kennedy School to establish his his eponymous fellowship at
42:32
Speaker 1: the Center for Public Leadership. Wexner and his wife, Abigail S. Wexner, meanwhile,
42:38
Speaker 1: are the founding benefactors of the Center. In addition to
42:41
Speaker 1: financially backing the Center's Wexner Israel Fellowship, Wexner donated more
42:46
Speaker 1: than $ 42 million to the Kennedy School prior to 2012.
42:49
Speaker 1: One building at the Kennedy School is named for him.
42:53
Speaker 1: Since then, he too has come under scrutiny for his
42:56
Speaker 1: ties to Epstein. Again, Just his ties to Epstein, huh?
43:01
Speaker 1: That's it? Nothing else? The legacy media is an absolute
43:07
Speaker 1: dumpster fire. I don't know how many times I have
43:09
Speaker 1: to say it, and I feel like I'm beating a
43:12
Speaker 1: dead horse at this point, but, I mean, come on.
43:16
Speaker 1: All it takes is just a little scratch beneath the
43:18
Speaker 1: surface to see that the ties between Wexner and Jeffrey
43:21
Speaker 1: Epstein go much deeper than his financial advisor. Darth Sidious,
43:28
Speaker 1: Darth Vader, That's the kind of evil we're talking about
43:32
Speaker 1: with these two, in my opinion. Epstein served as Wexner's
43:37
Speaker 1: financial advisor, facilitating a donation that funded the construction of
43:41
Speaker 1: Harvard Hallel. Wexner was one of Epstein's only known clients. Well,
43:47
Speaker 1: you can guarantee that any statement being made by the
43:48
Speaker 1: Wexner camp is a lie, in my opinion. Anything that
43:50
Speaker 1: they talk about is BS. They've never answered any of
43:52
Speaker 1: the hard questions. They've obfuscated and they've kicked the can
43:55
Speaker 1: down the road in hopes that the public would lose
43:57
Speaker 1: interest in this case. Mr. Wexner has condemned Jeffrey Epstein's
44:18
Speaker 1: abhorrent behavior in the strongest possible terms and severed all
44:22
Speaker 1: ties with him more than a decade ago, he wrote. Yeah, okay, well,
44:26
Speaker 1: how much did Jeffrey Epstein supposedly steal from you, Mr. Wexner?
44:29
Speaker 1: Why don't you donate that money to a survivor's fund
44:32
Speaker 1: and let the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein get pieced off?
44:36
Speaker 1: Put your money where your mouth is. But again, we
44:38
Speaker 1: don't see that from these people. It's all talk and
44:42
Speaker 1: never any walk. Earlier this year, the New York Times
44:47
Speaker 1: reported Wexner failed to address inappropriate conduct and a culture
44:51
Speaker 1: of misogyny inside L Brands, the parent company of Victoria's Secret.
44:55
Speaker 1: Following the reports, Wexner stepped down as chairman and chief
44:59
Speaker 1: operating officer nearly six decades after he started the retail company.
45:04
Speaker 1: Think about that for a minute, folks. It's because of
45:05
Speaker 1: your pressure, all of your pressure, that this disgusting man
45:10
Speaker 1: who had been at the helm for 60 years was
45:13
Speaker 1: forced to step down. And I know it's not... an indictment.
45:17
Speaker 1: I know it's not a prosecution, but it's a start.
45:21
Speaker 1: And to get where you're going, you always have to
45:24
Speaker 1: have a starting spot, right? So that's the starting spot.
45:29
Speaker 1: And the destination is all of them being locked up.
45:32
Speaker 1: But every great adventure starts with one step, Kennedy School
45:38
Speaker 1: students said in interviews they were frustrated to learn about
45:41
Speaker 1: donor controversies through the media while their school's administration remained
45:45
Speaker 1: largely silent on the issue. Though both Wexner and Dubin
45:48
Speaker 1: have denounced Epstein, students continue to protest those donors' relationships
45:53
Speaker 1: to Harvard. Throughout the past academic year, Dubin's fellows entered
45:57
Speaker 1: into private conversations with senior administrators at the Kennedy School
46:01
Speaker 1: and Center to discuss their concerns regarding donor relations, according
46:05
Speaker 1: to four fellows. What needs to happen is no more,
46:10
Speaker 1: quote unquote, internal investigations. It needs to be an independent
46:13
Speaker 1: group that looks into this kind of thing. And that
46:16
Speaker 1: way they're not biased. And we get basically an unredacted report, right?
46:22
Speaker 1: The real, not the stuff that they're going to hide
46:24
Speaker 1: because it's an internal report and they don't want to
46:26
Speaker 1: look bad. An actual outside independent group doing this. Dubin
46:34
Speaker 1: fellow and master of public policy candidate Catherine Miller characterized
46:37
Speaker 1: those conversations as frustrating. She said she was not at
46:41
Speaker 1: liberty to disclose details of the meetings due to administrators'
46:44
Speaker 1: requests that they be kept confidential. These people love to
46:48
Speaker 1: keep shit confidential, right? They think if they keep it
46:50
Speaker 1: confidential and hidden with NDAs and all that other jazz,
46:54
Speaker 1: that you'll never hear about it. Well, they're wrong. This
46:56
Speaker 1: day and age, it's going to leak. People are going
46:59
Speaker 1: to hear about it. The Center and the Kennedy School
47:03
Speaker 1: have not publicly acknowledged their donor ties to Epstein or
47:06
Speaker 1: students' concerns. Of course they haven't. They're a bunch of cowards.
47:11
Speaker 1: Kennedy School spokesperson James F. Smith wrote in an emailed
47:15
Speaker 1: statement that Wexner and Dubin's financial contributions have benefited the
47:19
Speaker 1: Kennedy School. He also noted that Kennedy School Dean Douglas W.
47:23
Speaker 1: Elmendorf and Center for Public Leadership Director Wendy R. Sherman
47:28
Speaker 1: have participated in discussions with Kennedy School affiliates, including students,
47:33
Speaker 1: about the donations. Well, pack it in, folks. No more
47:36
Speaker 1: investigations are needed from us. We don't need to comment anymore. They're,
47:40
Speaker 1: you know, they're having discussions. They're including the students and
47:44
Speaker 1: it's about the donations. So the rest of us should
47:46
Speaker 1: just shut up about things. That's what they would want.
47:49
Speaker 1: That's what they want us to do. But in reality,
47:51
Speaker 1: that's never going to happen. Their donations have enabled Harvard
47:55
Speaker 1: Kennedy School to provide hundreds of student scholarships, hire additional faculty,
48:00
Speaker 1: and transform the physical campus for the 21st century learning.
48:04
Speaker 1: Smith wrote, this support has significantly advanced our mission of
48:07
Speaker 1: educating future generations of principled and effective public leaders. How
48:13
Speaker 1: tone deaf. I mean, are you kidding me right now?
48:16
Speaker 1: Are you kidding me right now? This guy is an
48:19
Speaker 1: absolute clown. Wow. For them, it's all about the money.
48:24
Speaker 1: They don't care about Wexner and they don't care about
48:26
Speaker 1: Dubin or anyone like that. If they had it their way,
48:30
Speaker 1: they would still accept money from people like this. They
48:32
Speaker 1: just keep it on the hush. Though the Kennedy School
48:38
Speaker 1: continues to argue in favor of the gift's utility, students
48:41
Speaker 1: have questioned the status of the school's current relationships with
48:44
Speaker 1: their donors in light of recent events. In February, Harvard
48:49
Speaker 1: removed Dubin's and Wexner's names from a university website, listing
48:54
Speaker 1: the members of the center's advisory council. Wexner co-chaired the
48:58
Speaker 1: advisory council with his wife, whose name has also been removed.
49:02
Speaker 1: Dubin's name was also scratched from the Kennedy School's Dean
49:05
Speaker 1: Executive Board. And again, for people like this to lose
49:12
Speaker 1: board seats and to have to step back from companies
49:15
Speaker 1: and to have egg on their face, et cetera, et cetera.
49:17
Speaker 1: It's the worst thing that could happen to them besides
49:19
Speaker 1: going to prison. They have plenty of money to lose.
49:22
Speaker 1: They don't care if they lose a lawsuit and got
49:23
Speaker 1: to pay something out. But when they lose their so-called credibility,
49:27
Speaker 1: their public facade is broken and they and people really
49:30
Speaker 1: see that the king really isn't wearing any clothes. Well,
49:33
Speaker 1: that that, my friends, is a big problem to these
49:36
Speaker 1: so-called power brokers. At the time, Kennedy School students said
49:43
Speaker 1: they were unsure what the disappearance of the donors' names
49:47
Speaker 1: from the boards meant about Harvard's relationship to them. A
49:50
Speaker 1: Kennedy School spokesperson told the Crimson in March that Dubin
49:54
Speaker 1: and Wexner's departures were routine. Of course it was. So folks,
49:58
Speaker 1: you see what's going on here, right? You can read
50:00
Speaker 1: between the lines. Harvard is still covering up what they did.
50:03
Speaker 1: They're still making excuses about it. And they're not contrite.
50:07
Speaker 1: They don't have any compassion for the survivors. They don't care.
50:13
Speaker 1: Around the same time, the center sent an email to
50:15
Speaker 1: fellowship applicants encouraging them to vet the donors who fund
50:19
Speaker 1: their prospective programs. Several Dubin fellows also said this academic
50:24
Speaker 1: year marked the first time Dubin did not arrange an
50:27
Speaker 1: in-person meeting with the students enrolled in his fellowship. They
50:31
Speaker 1: added that they believe the Epstein controversy precipitated the change.
50:35
Speaker 1: Hell yeah, it did. Look, don't let anybody tell you
50:39
Speaker 1: that it wasn't the pressure that you put on over
50:42
Speaker 1: Epstein that has all of these people on their heels.
50:45
Speaker 1: It wasn't the legacy media. It wasn't Julie K. Brown.
50:49
Speaker 1: It was you, all of the people that are enraged
50:52
Speaker 1: about what's going on and running around with their hair
50:55
Speaker 1: on fire daily over the treatment of not only the survivors,
51:00
Speaker 1: but over the treatment of the justice system as a whole. Still,
51:08
Speaker 1: Dubin's spokesperson, Davidson Golden, wrote in an emailed statement to
51:11
Speaker 1: the Crimson that the Dubins remain committed to the fellowship.
51:15
Speaker 1: The Dubin Graduate Fellowship for Emerging Leaders was established over
51:19
Speaker 1: a decade ago and remains an important focus of the
51:22
Speaker 1: Dubin's philanthropy, he wrote. Current fellows said they understand that
51:26
Speaker 1: the fellowship's funding may dry up within the next two years.
51:29
Speaker 1: A spokesperson for Dubin did not respond to a question
51:33
Speaker 1: asking whether Dubin will provide another donation to continue the
51:36
Speaker 1: fellowship when it runs out of money. Why would you
51:40
Speaker 1: want him to? As Harvard, why would you want more
51:43
Speaker 1: money from this guy? You're telling me that there aren't
51:47
Speaker 1: any other rich people that would love to give these
51:49
Speaker 1: people an endowment? And furthermore, how much is Harvard pulling
51:53
Speaker 1: in anyway right now? I'm sure it's in the billions.
52:03
Speaker 1: Several Dubin Fellows said revelations about their donors' relationship with
52:06
Speaker 1: Epstein have had a negative impact on them personally. They
52:09
Speaker 1: also criticized the Kennedy School for not being forthcoming about
52:13
Speaker 1: their donors' ties to Epstein. Dubin Fellow and Master in
52:17
Speaker 1: Public Policy candidate Mike Yeaps said that as a survivor
52:21
Speaker 1: of sexual assault, Harvard's relationships to donors with Epstein's ties
52:25
Speaker 1: have created a very difficult dilemma internally for him. What's
52:29
Speaker 1: been very difficult for me is navigating this dichotomy of
52:33
Speaker 1: being a survivor myself and then having the benefit of
52:36
Speaker 1: a full ride, but a full ride given to me
52:38
Speaker 1: by someone who, regardless of whether or not we know
52:41
Speaker 1: what happened with Dubin specifically, has had a relationship with Epstein,
52:45
Speaker 1: who was a convicted sex offender, Yep said. I could
52:48
Speaker 1: definitely see that kind of moral balancing act, right? You're
52:52
Speaker 1: a survivor, and then you get this endowment from Glenn Dubin,
52:56
Speaker 1: and he has all of these questions swirling around him, etc., etc.
53:00
Speaker 1: That must be a gut shot for this guy. Heaps
53:05
Speaker 1: added that the onus should be on Harvard, not him
53:08
Speaker 1: or any other individual student, to vet donors 100%. It
53:12
Speaker 1: is up to Harvard to vet these donors. Don't put
53:15
Speaker 1: that on these kids. these students. Let them focus on school.
53:19
Speaker 1: Let them focus on what they're there for. It's not
53:21
Speaker 1: their job to vet their donors, Harvard. The responsibility to
53:27
Speaker 1: find donors who can support those students, one of whom
53:31
Speaker 1: I am, is Harvard's and not mine as an individual,
53:34
Speaker 1: he said. It is their responsibility to routinely vet donors
53:38
Speaker 1: and seek out new donors when questionable situations arise. Again,
53:43
Speaker 1: people want to donate to Harvard. Come on, folks. Dubin's
53:47
Speaker 1: relationship with Epstein has led Dubin Fellows to conceal their
53:50
Speaker 1: fellowship's connections with its benefactor. Imagine how it makes me
53:55
Speaker 1: so aggravated, so aggravated that Harvard would still be in
53:58
Speaker 1: bed with this guy. Dubin Fellow and Master in Public
54:01
Speaker 1: Policy candidate Joshua Baltadano said he has updated his LinkedIn
54:06
Speaker 1: profile to omit mention of Dubin from the fellowship title.
54:10
Speaker 1: I definitely don't tell people I'm a Dubin Fellow anymore,
54:13
Speaker 1: he said. It is disappointing to be referred to as
54:16
Speaker 1: a Dubin emerging leader fellow because my emerging leadership didn't
54:20
Speaker 1: come from supporting partnerships with sex offenders, Yeaps said. It
54:23
Speaker 1: came from being a survivor who has fought for justice. Man, honestly,
54:28
Speaker 1: I feel for this Mr. Yeaps. This is a shit
54:32
Speaker 1: situation to be in, man. You have your dreams and
54:34
Speaker 1: your goals all right there in front of you. And
54:36
Speaker 1: then to find out that Dubin is such a sicko.
54:39
Speaker 1: that Dubin had such a relationship with Epstein, and add
54:42
Speaker 1: to it, on top of all of that, what he's
54:44
Speaker 1: being accused of by Virginia Roberts? Man, I can't even imagine.
54:50
Speaker 1: Miller said she believes the Kennedy School failed to show
54:52
Speaker 1: leadership from the time media reports surfaced of Dubin's ties
54:56
Speaker 1: to Epstein. We found out not through the Center for
54:59
Speaker 1: Public Leadership, not through Glenn Dubin, but through watching the
55:03
Speaker 1: news just like everyone else, Miller said. I think that
55:07
Speaker 1: that has mirrored largely how the administration foreshadowed how the
55:10
Speaker 1: administration was going to see and handle this issue and
55:14
Speaker 1: that they have not really been proactive in identifying this
55:17
Speaker 1: as a problem or an issue that's very salient to
55:20
Speaker 1: us and merits our involvement. Because the university thinks it's
55:24
Speaker 1: a big joke. Harvard University is a disgrace. They're an
55:27
Speaker 1: absolute disgrace. I don't take anything that comes out of
55:30
Speaker 1: Harvard seriously at this point. And it's unfortunate because there
55:34
Speaker 1: are a lot of very smart, very intelligent leaders of
55:36
Speaker 1: tomorrow within their walls. But what sort of education are
55:40
Speaker 1: they getting? What sort of people are they being brought around?
55:45
Speaker 1: This is almost too much, folks. A seat at the table.
55:51
Speaker 1: At the center of student outcry against ties to Wexner
55:54
Speaker 1: and Dubin has been uncertainty regarding what vetting process, if any,
55:59
Speaker 1: Harvard conducts of its donors. Until recently, the university's guidelines
56:04
Speaker 1: for prospective donors were shrouded in secrecy, but a recent
56:07
Speaker 1: report released on May 1st shed new light on the
56:10
Speaker 1: university's ties to Epstein and its gift policies, and has
56:14
Speaker 1: prompted Harvard to develop more stringent guidelines. So why was
56:19
Speaker 1: it shrouded in secrecy in the first place? right? It
56:21
Speaker 1: should be pretty straightforward. You're a donor. We're a school.
56:25
Speaker 1: Here's the paperwork. Have a great day, sir. Why does
56:28
Speaker 1: everything have to be shrouded in mystery? Why does everything
56:31
Speaker 1: have to be obfuscated when it comes to these people?
56:34
Speaker 1: Nothing is ever on the up and up. Nothing is
56:36
Speaker 1: ever as it seems. And that is why you must
56:40
Speaker 1: read between the lines. University President Lawrence S. Bacow, who
56:49
Speaker 1: has received that letter from Dr. DeLay, requested a review
56:53
Speaker 1: of Epstein's donations in September 2019 after a partial financial
56:59
Speaker 1: review revealed he made significant donations to Harvard. Led by
57:04
Speaker 1: Harvard's Office of the General Counsel and the outside law
57:06
Speaker 1: firm Foley Hoag, the full review found Epstein donated around $ 9. 1
57:12
Speaker 1: million between 1998 and 2008, and that Harvard did not
57:17
Speaker 1: take any gifts from Epstein following his 2008 conviction. I
57:22
Speaker 1: don't buy that either. How many Gucci bags were dropped off?
57:26
Speaker 1: How many Versace bags were dropped off stuffed with cash?
57:31
Speaker 1: Because remember... We're talking about Jeffrey Epstein here, money manipulator,
57:35
Speaker 1: money launderer, money trafficker, human trafficker, and all-around sleazebag. The
57:43
Speaker 1: report also furnished a set of recommendations the university will
57:46
Speaker 1: act upon immediately, according to Bacow. One of those recommendations
57:52
Speaker 1: states that its gift policy committee, a group of faculty
57:55
Speaker 1: and administrators tasked with reviewing prospective donations, should create a
57:59
Speaker 1: comprehensive university-wide process for vetting donors and share it with
58:04
Speaker 1: faculty and staff. Yeah, that might be a good idea, right?
58:07
Speaker 1: What is this, national security? What, are you guys worried
58:10
Speaker 1: that Yale's going to come over and steal your policy
58:13
Speaker 1: or something? Stop it, Harvard. Just stop. That process, the
58:21
Speaker 1: report recommends, would include identifying triggering criteria to avoid certain
58:26
Speaker 1: gifts and donors. The criteria might include the gift size,
58:30
Speaker 1: a donor's lack of prior connection to Harvard, any known
58:33
Speaker 1: concerns about a prospective donor's actions, including criminal record, and
58:38
Speaker 1: any negative information found in the news media the report reads.
58:42
Speaker 1: Neither Dubin nor Wexner are mentioned in the report, which
58:45
Speaker 1: focused on Epstein's direct donations to Harvard. Yeah, of course not.
58:49
Speaker 1: Epstein's gone. They don't mind smashing that cash cow, but
58:51
Speaker 1: they're not going to slap Dubin in the face. They're
58:53
Speaker 1: not going to slap Wexner in the face. Of course not.
58:56
Speaker 1: Those are cash cows and they can't get rid of
58:58
Speaker 1: them because I'm sure on the back end, Harvard is
59:01
Speaker 1: still profiting from their relationships with these people. Though the
59:10
Speaker 1: review also examined gifts Epstein directed and facilitated, the final
59:16
Speaker 1: report did not detail every gift made to the university
59:19
Speaker 1: in which donors may have had an association to Epstein.
59:23
Speaker 1: Of course it didn't. They used a friendly law firm
59:26
Speaker 1: to look into them, to do an investigation into themselves,
59:29
Speaker 1: and this is the result. It's no different than when
59:32
Speaker 1: you see the inspector general do an investigation. It never
59:36
Speaker 1: has any teeth, right? You're investigating yourself, the guys you're
59:40
Speaker 1: playing golf with on the weekends, for God's sake. Several
59:44
Speaker 1: Kennedy School students said they hope to see more student
59:47
Speaker 1: involvement in the drafting of donor guidelines. I think we
59:50
Speaker 1: would love to see greater student involvement in the gift
59:52
Speaker 1: policy committee and the creation of a robust gifts policy. Murr,
59:57
Speaker 1: one of the Dubin fellows, said, I see that as
1:00:00
Speaker 1: coming out of this report, but I do not see
1:00:02
Speaker 1: any mechanism for student involvement in that process. Miller also
1:00:06
Speaker 1: said she believes students should have a voice in university
1:00:09
Speaker 1: decisions regarding donor guidelines. She said students would bring an
1:00:13
Speaker 1: important moral perspective to those discussions, whereas administrators might prioritize
1:00:18
Speaker 1: the financial prosperity of their programs. That's a great point.
1:00:23
Speaker 1: Let's mix it up. Let's have student and faculty involved.
1:00:27
Speaker 1: I don't see what the problem is. I do, but
1:00:31
Speaker 1: Harvard obviously doesn't want to relinquish the power, right? That
1:00:35
Speaker 1: is really what it comes down to. It boils down
1:00:37
Speaker 1: to the power. And in any institution like this, it's
1:00:40
Speaker 1: all about the power. Those in power never want to
1:00:45
Speaker 1: relinquish it to those who do not have power. And
1:00:47
Speaker 1: that's the age old struggle that we find ourselves in,
1:00:50
Speaker 1: in the world, nevermind at Harvard, but it's the battle
1:00:53
Speaker 1: that we find ourselves in against the elite. They are
1:00:55
Speaker 1: never going to see this power willingly. We're going to
1:00:58
Speaker 1: have to force it out of their hands. I've, I
1:01:06
Speaker 1: think that students can really bring a moral standard to it,
1:01:09
Speaker 1: she said. We're the Dubin Fellows, you know, that is
1:01:11
Speaker 1: part of our lives forever. We are forever to a
1:01:14
Speaker 1: degree separated from Jeffrey Epstein. I think just having that
1:01:18
Speaker 1: seat at the table when it comes to making these
1:01:20
Speaker 1: decisions can go a long way, she added. Ultimately, Miller
1:01:25
Speaker 1: said she would like to see Harvard more fully confront
1:01:27
Speaker 1: its relationship to those tied to Epstein and to Epstein himself. Epstein,
1:01:34
Speaker 1: Epstein used Harvard ties to basically absolve himself of the
1:01:38
Speaker 1: crime that he had committed and ingratiate himself back into society,
1:01:42
Speaker 1: she said. That was his play, and he used Harvard
1:01:46
Speaker 1: to do it. Not just Harvard, he used all of
1:01:49
Speaker 1: these people to do it. All of those people who
1:01:52
Speaker 1: he was shaking hands with on the wall in Zorro
1:01:54
Speaker 1: Ranch while he was raping Jane Doe 15, you're all enablers,
1:01:58
Speaker 1: you're all complicit, okay? Anybody that was piggybacked and used
1:02:02
Speaker 1: as a vehicle and a conduit for him to get
1:02:04
Speaker 1: back into so-called civil, polite society, you're part of the problem.
1:02:15
Speaker 1: She argued through the dube and fellowship that place still
1:02:18
Speaker 1: may be happening. Harvard needs to reckon the extent to
1:02:21
Speaker 1: which it was used, we were used, to better the
1:02:24
Speaker 1: reputation of Jeffrey Epstein, she added. You know, look, the
1:02:29
Speaker 1: Harvard Crimson has been doing some pretty good work when
1:02:31
Speaker 1: it comes to covering this case as far as the
1:02:33
Speaker 1: Harvard connections go. These are the students that are on campus.
1:02:37
Speaker 1: These are the editors that are on campus. And these
1:02:39
Speaker 1: are the journalists of tomorrow. And hopefully they're getting a
1:02:44
Speaker 1: lesson here in this Jeffrey Epstein case. And they're learning
1:02:46
Speaker 1: a lot about who their friends and who the enemies are.
1:02:51
Speaker 1: And the enemies, my friends, are the so-called elite and
1:02:56
Speaker 1: their minions and in the dumpster fire that we call
1:03:00
Speaker 1: the legacy media. If you'd like to contact me, you
