- 0:05Speaker 1: Now you might have to go to work at some
- 0:08Speaker 1: point today, and you know it's even more fun when
- 0:09Speaker 1: you get home and you got to do more work.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I'm talking about those household chores. And I don't know
- 0:15Speaker 1: if every home dynamic is like this, but at your house,
- 0:20Speaker 1: do you have a chore that has just kind of
- 0:23Speaker 1: been assigned to you, whether you signed up for it
- 0:26Speaker 1: or not, or maybe the kids having a signed shore
- 0:29Speaker 1: that you definitely assigned to them. Let us know at
- 0:32Speaker 1: seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 0:35Speaker 1: And I bring this up because there's this woman who's
- 0:37Speaker 1: gone viral on social media after explaining why wives often
- 0:42Speaker 1: will just say just tell your husband. She says women
- 0:45Speaker 1: frequently carry the mental load of remembering birthdays, making plans,
- 0:50Speaker 1: passing along information, and her advice is, if you need
- 0:54Speaker 1: something done, tell your husband directly, all right, instead of
- 1:00Speaker 1: just kind of hope and he figures it out. Just
- 1:02Speaker 1: tell him you need something done. Tell him you want
- 1:04Speaker 1: something done. It's going to be a lot better than
- 1:06Speaker 1: sort of just waiting for it to get done. And
- 1:09Speaker 1: that makes so much sense. At our house. We recently
- 1:12Speaker 1: saw this ad. Corey and I recently saw this ad
- 1:15Speaker 1: for this calendar now it's an electronic calendar that you
- 1:19Speaker 1: can access from your phone. It really helped me a
- 1:22Speaker 1: lot with like appointments for baby G and when we
- 1:26Speaker 1: got to run there for thirty minutes and they do
- 1:28Speaker 1: their quick little checks and then we leave. I didn't
- 1:30Speaker 1: have to text her every other day being like when's
- 1:33Speaker 1: that appointment? When's the next one?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Bland.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Just things like that they really really help.
- 1:37Speaker 1: It helps when we have work or I have work
- 1:40Speaker 1: here sometime after hours, you know, and we have to
- 1:42Speaker 1: be somewhere you're remote or something like that. It really
- 1:45Speaker 1: helps her to go, oh, yeah, he's here from five
- 1:47Speaker 1: to seven without us having to constantly text and try
- 1:50Speaker 1: to keep track of the schedule. So we use that
- 1:53Speaker 1: and it has been wonderful. Yeah. Do you have any
- 1:57Speaker 1: chores at your house that have really kind of been
- 1:59Speaker 1: a sign to you, Angie, because I have two, and
- 2:01Speaker 1: one of them you've heard me complain about till my
- 2:05Speaker 1: dying days.
- 2:06Speaker 2: I go, I go through this every single time.
- 2:10Speaker 4: I'm the person who cleans the bath room when it's
- 2:15Speaker 4: toilet and tub, that's me. You could not pay me
- 2:20Speaker 4: enough to clean the sink, and like, oh my.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Gosh, I hate it. I hate it. So much. But
- 2:26Speaker 2: what happens is I.
- 2:28Speaker 4: Do the boys bathroom downstairs, I clean the toilet, and
- 2:32Speaker 4: then I say to them, this is the last time
- 2:34Speaker 4: that I'm gonna do it. You have to stay on
- 2:38Speaker 4: top of this.
- 2:39Speaker 3: And then they call your bluff.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Like I've been.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Looking at it for the last week, and it's like,
- 2:44Speaker 4: I'm gonna clean this again, aren't I. They're not keeping
- 2:47Speaker 4: on top of it, and it drives me insane. And
- 2:49Speaker 4: it's one of those where I feel like I would
- 2:53Speaker 4: I don't know, like ground them or something, put them
- 2:55Speaker 4: on restriction whatever for not or just say clean it now.
- 2:59Speaker 4: But now it's to the point where I feel like
- 3:01Speaker 4: I don't trust how they're going to clean it.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you're kind.
- 3:04Speaker 4: Now I have to do it myself again, and I
- 3:06Speaker 4: don't even mind doing it.
- 3:08Speaker 2: I just want them to be better at cleaning up
- 3:13Speaker 2: after themselves.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You're kind of in your own Uh, you're kind of
- 3:17Speaker 1: in your own circle of death.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Yes, I'm in a.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Hell of my own making because the issue is not
- 3:22Speaker 4: necessarily them, it's that I should just let them do it.
- 3:26Speaker 3: And then accept whether it's clean or not.
- 3:28Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the same thing with the dishes, Like I
- 3:31Speaker 4: have to do all the dishes, not because they won't,
- 3:34Speaker 4: it's because when they do it, it's wrong, and so
- 3:37Speaker 4: I have to do it so that it is correct. Right.
- 3:40Speaker 4: I just think I'm just in a house of boys,
- 3:42Speaker 4: and I think that their standard of clean is wildly
- 3:45Speaker 4: different than my standard of clean.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel you on that. Well, speaking of guys,
- 3:50Speaker 1: we do have Dale on the phone. Dale, do you
- 3:52Speaker 1: have any household chores that are kind of just assigned
- 3:54Speaker 1: to you.
- 3:54Speaker 5: I'm in charge of everything outside of the house, that's
- 3:58Speaker 5: the law and the garbage or anything else that may
- 4:01Speaker 5: come up like that. My wife takes care of everything
- 4:04Speaker 5: inside of the house, and it's a pretty good system.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure you think it is, sir.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I bet it is. Yeah.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I have two chores that have really just kind of
- 4:16Speaker 1: fallen into my lap and I do them, and one
- 4:20Speaker 1: of them I really hate. But I am the dishes.
- 4:24Speaker 1: I am the grocery grabber. Ye big up orders a lot,
- 4:29Speaker 1: and it's way too busy. And I've talked about this before,
- 4:32Speaker 1: but it's way too busy. When Corey's done with work
- 4:34Speaker 1: for us to go there and then you sit and
- 4:36Speaker 1: you wait forty five minutes, and it's not their fault.
- 4:38Speaker 1: There's a billion people there. I'm not blaming the place
- 4:41Speaker 1: we picked the groceries up from. Yeah, you're just blaming
- 4:43Speaker 1: your way. Yeah. Basically, so she will have these kind
- 4:47Speaker 1: of more in the middle of the day, you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: and I'm done, and you know, there's no one there
- 4:52Speaker 1: at one point thirty. So I get why she does it,
- 4:54Speaker 1: but to get them, bring them all in, put them
- 4:57Speaker 1: all away, solo dolo for about the eightieth time this year.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Well, I'm probably closer to the one hundred, but you
- 5:03Speaker 3: get the point. It's just like.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Every day that Angie knows I have to go get
- 5:07Speaker 1: these groceries, I'm like, God, dang it, didn't I sit
- 5:10Speaker 1: here and just swear under my breath.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Yeah, there's days like where people you have like a
- 5:15Speaker 4: pep in your step in this case, like your step
- 5:19Speaker 4: is dragon. That's how I know, Like the way your
- 5:22Speaker 4: gate is a little off, and I'm like, oh, you
- 5:24Speaker 4: gotta go get grocery.
- 5:25Speaker 3: That's right.
- 5:26Speaker 1: And then the other one is litter boxes. Well, obviously
- 5:30Speaker 1: my wife is pregnant. There's something to do with like
- 5:31Speaker 1: litter and pregnant women not being around it, which is fine.
- 5:34Speaker 1: So that kind of fell into my lap. But then
- 5:37Speaker 1: my wife blessed me with the choice of buying automatic
- 5:41Speaker 1: litter box cleaners. All I gotta do now is empty
- 5:44Speaker 1: out the bag in the bottom and throw it in
- 5:46Speaker 1: the garbage and put a new bag in there. It's
- 5:48Speaker 1: safe so much time. Oh it's my new favorite chores.
- 5:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Fastest one I have around the house. Do you have
- 5:55Speaker 1: any chores that have somewhat kind of fallen in your
- 5:59Speaker 1: lap because they're either a like Angie and you don't
- 6:01Speaker 1: think anyone's gonna do them right, or b you got
- 6:04Speaker 1: a pregnant wife and the litter box became your duty.
- 6:09Speaker 6: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practiced gratitude
- 6:14Speaker 6: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 6:16Speaker 2: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 6:18Speaker 2: basket jar busted out when it was someone's acting hard
- 6:22Speaker 2: and I.
- 6:22Speaker 6: Just really needed to win. You know, sure your little
- 6:24Speaker 6: victories with us at seven oh one two eight oho
- 6:27Speaker 6: one ninety eight seven.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Minus the garlic mushroom onion smelling shirt, Angie, what would
- 6:34Speaker 1: be your little victory?
- 6:35Speaker 4: Honestly, it was just the dopest weekend of the summer
- 6:41Speaker 4: thus far.
- 6:42Speaker 2: We went meet Mikey and the kiddos.
- 6:45Speaker 4: We went and saw Toy Story five on Friday night,
- 6:48Speaker 4: which was so fun. I stayed up way past my bedtime,
- 6:50Speaker 4: like the movie started at seven forty five pm. I
- 6:53Speaker 4: felt like a real bad ace staying up that way nice,
- 6:57Speaker 4: but we went.
- 6:57Speaker 2: And saw that Saturday. I I was with you on Saturday.
- 7:02Speaker 4: We judged karaoke at salon ninety five, so that was fun.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It was a great time.
- 7:06Speaker 4: And then Father's Day obviously yesterday, and so we watched
- 7:11Speaker 4: some golf and then we went bowling where there was
- 7:15Speaker 4: golf also on the TV, so Mikey.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Was in heaven. And then in the evening I.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Made mushroom garlic onion pasta that was delicious, even though
- 7:27Speaker 4: I don't like that.
- 7:28Speaker 2: My shirt smells like it now.
- 7:30Speaker 4: And yeah, it was just We ended the night watching
- 7:33Speaker 4: the premiere of House of the Dragon. It was just
- 7:35Speaker 4: a great weekend, like one for the books. I will
- 7:39Speaker 4: journal about it, honestly.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Where there was something fun to look forward to pretty
- 7:42Speaker 1: much every day. I had a great time with you
- 7:45Speaker 1: on Saturday that was so fun, so fun, and my
- 7:47Speaker 1: wife even came and hung out for a little bit.
- 7:49Speaker 2: I know, I loved seeing Corey.
- 7:51Speaker 4: That was a delight, and honestly, because she's nine months pregnant.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Fagnant came out at all. I was like, you were
- 7:58Speaker 2: a better pregnant lady than me. It was amazing.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Also, if you follow the Big Inner Circle on Facebook,
- 8:06Speaker 4: you can catch a little performance that Gabe did at karaoke.
- 8:11Speaker 1: That's right, I saw that video. That was pretty cool. Actually,
- 8:14Speaker 1: I'm glad someone got that. My little victory. I suppose
- 8:17Speaker 1: you know, obviously I had a ton of fun with
- 8:19Speaker 1: you on Saturday. It was a great time at Saloon
- 8:21Speaker 1: ninety five. But I suppose since you kind of covered that,
- 8:24Speaker 1: my little victory I think will be that. Today is
- 8:27Speaker 1: my mother's birthday, So happy birthday to Audrey. Happy birthday,
- 8:33Speaker 1: Audrey Glitten, my favorite mom I've ever had. You know,
- 8:36Speaker 1: they don't make him much better than her, So I
- 8:39Speaker 1: hope she has a wonderful day.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I do kind of feel bad for my dad.
- 8:42Speaker 1: I mean, Father's Day is already kind of bottom of
- 8:45Speaker 1: the barrel on holidays, right.
- 8:46Speaker 3: Well, my dad's.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Father's Day this year was on the same day as
- 8:52Speaker 1: my parents anniversary, So yesterday my parents had been married.
- 8:55Speaker 3: I think forty six was the number.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yes forty six years.
- 8:58Speaker 3: He thinks, oh you saw that up with.
- 9:00Speaker 4: Him and said that Audrey deserves sainthood.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah, so forty six years yesterday for my parents to
- 9:07Speaker 1: be followed by my mother's birthday today.
- 9:10Speaker 3: So in the.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Grand scheme of what's going on in the Glitten household,
- 9:16Speaker 1: Dad really kind of fell to the bottom of the barrel,
- 9:19Speaker 1: say so myself.
- 9:20Speaker 2: It's all about Audrey as it should be. Happy birthday, Audrey.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So happy birthday, Mom. I love you dearly now, Angie.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Over the weekend or at least on Friday, I believe
- 9:36Speaker 1: it was a Friday or Saturday.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Friday night.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Friday night, you went and saw Toy Story five, and
- 9:44Speaker 1: did you enjoy it?
- 9:45Speaker 3: Without spoiling it?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Can you give us a little bit of your experience
- 9:48Speaker 1: spoiler free?
- 9:50Speaker 2: I think it was really great.
- 9:52Speaker 4: I think they tackled the idea of kids and tech
- 9:56Speaker 4: in a way that didn't shame parents who let their
- 10:01Speaker 4: kids be on tablets and screens, iPads and yeah, because
- 10:06Speaker 4: when I first saw the previous four it was like,
- 10:08Speaker 4: you know, it's the toys versus what they call their
- 10:12Speaker 4: tablet is called a lily pad.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and it was like, oh no, our parents about.
- 10:17Speaker 4: To feel real guilty because there are I mean, we
- 10:20Speaker 4: are living where there's a generation of iPad kids, for
- 10:23Speaker 4: better or worse whatever, and so I was concerned, like, how.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Are they gonna tackle this?
- 10:28Speaker 4: But they really did it in such a sweet and
- 10:31Speaker 4: smart way.
- 10:32Speaker 2: And my kids really enjoyed it.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Liam is nine, Aiden is fifteen. Both of them were
- 10:39Speaker 4: very entertained. I loved it, Mikey loved it. I feel
- 10:42Speaker 4: like there's something for everyone in the movie, and I do.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I highly recommend it is a fun family watch. And
- 10:49Speaker 4: I will say this, if you watch Toy Story four
- 10:54Speaker 4: and thought, bro, they really jumped the shark, why are
- 10:57Speaker 4: we doing? I think five is way better than four.
- 11:02Speaker 4: In fact, you could almost just pluck four out of
- 11:05Speaker 4: the series and it would be fine. Like my ranking
- 11:10Speaker 4: now definitively is one, three, five, The odd numbers four Okay, yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 4: I lot one through five and then two and four.
- 11:21Speaker 4: And the thing is is because I hate too because
- 11:24Speaker 4: I don't like Jesse. I've never liked that character really,
- 11:28Speaker 4: and five has a lot of focus on Jesse and
- 11:33Speaker 4: it's such a good movie that I'm not even mad
- 11:36Speaker 4: about that. And then before it plucks right out, it's
- 11:39Speaker 4: not good. Like skip four if you haven't seen it.
- 11:42Speaker 2: If you think should I watch four before I watch that?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Nah, you don't need to.
- 11:46Speaker 2: No, you just know that Wood.
- 11:47Speaker 4: He's not in the regular rotation of toys anymore after four,
- 11:51Speaker 4: but like he's still in this movie.
- 11:52Speaker 2: It's good. It's good. I liked it.
- 11:54Speaker 1: I don't remember seeing two. I feel like I have,
- 11:59Speaker 1: but I don't remember. And then is three the one
- 12:02Speaker 1: where they go to the daycare? Yes, okay, so yeah,
- 12:06Speaker 1: I would have it be one, three, And then I
- 12:10Speaker 1: obviously have not seen yeah four or five, not obviously,
- 12:14Speaker 1: but I have not seen five yet. I definitely have
- 12:16Speaker 1: not seen four, and I don't remember seeing two, so
- 12:19Speaker 1: I can't really rank them.
- 12:20Speaker 3: I got one in three about all I got.
- 12:23Speaker 4: But you know what, you're right in that one in
- 12:25Speaker 4: three of all five movies, one in three are elite.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Yeah, incredible.
- 12:29Speaker 1: I remember the third one had like adults scared and
- 12:32Speaker 1: crying of that yeah guy the bear or whatever lot.
- 12:35Speaker 4: So you know what's funny is I when we got
- 12:38Speaker 4: to the movies, Aiden said, I think this is the
- 12:41Speaker 4: first time I've ever watched a toy story in theaters,
- 12:44Speaker 4: which is true. I was like, oh yeah, I guess
- 12:46Speaker 4: you didn't go for the last time. The last time
- 12:48Speaker 4: I saw a Toy Story in theaters was Toy Story three,
- 12:52Speaker 4: and I was pregnant with Aiden. Oh sure, and so
- 12:55Speaker 4: it's kind of sweet, like full circle moment to watch
- 12:58Speaker 4: this with him fifteen years out of my uterus.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, by and Toy Story It made one hundred
- 13:05Speaker 1: and sixty million dollars opening weekend and the surprise at
- 13:09Speaker 1: the box office did very, very well. And so we asked, hey,
- 13:13Speaker 1: if you are, you know, a fan of the Toy Stories,
- 13:15Speaker 1: or you've seen them, or you've watched them with your kids,
- 13:17Speaker 1: how would you rank them? Are you kind of like
- 13:19Speaker 1: Angie where the odd numbers really kind of rained some
- 13:23Speaker 1: even numbers?
- 13:24Speaker 3: What do you think?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Micah did say five and that's all she said because
- 13:28Speaker 1: of the Taylor Swift song, which is hilarious. But we
- 13:31Speaker 1: did have Brian who said three, one, two, didn't need
- 13:35Speaker 1: four or five?
- 13:36Speaker 2: Listen, didn't need four? Correct?
- 13:40Speaker 4: Five?
- 13:40Speaker 2: I think is sweet?
- 13:41Speaker 3: Five just fun?
- 13:42Speaker 4: Yeah, Five's just fun. But you know a money grab
- 13:45Speaker 4: is a money grab, right.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Well, let us know. On Facebook. April also said she
- 13:50Speaker 1: didn't care for the fourth either, So you're along the ran.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Fourth one was a trash rank.
- 13:56Speaker 1: These rank the toy story movies on the Big nine
- 14:00Speaker 1: eight point seven Facebook pages this morning, but Angie does
- 14:02Speaker 1: give the fifth one a two thumbs up.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Double thumbs are a one thumb two.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Thumbs up or both spurs or whatever.
- 14:13Speaker 1: This is.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Am I the problem?
- 14:16Speaker 2: It's me? Hi on the problem, it's me.
- 14:21Speaker 6: We'll hear one side of the story and with your help,
- 14:23Speaker 6: am I the problem? You decide if it's right or
- 14:26Speaker 6: if maybe you're the problem.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I'm hardly the problem.
- 14:30Speaker 6: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 14:33Speaker 4: Tyler needs your help seven oh one two WAITO one
- 14:36Speaker 4: nine eight seven call text. We also have this up
- 14:40Speaker 4: on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Hi, Gab and Angie.
- 14:44Speaker 4: I've been talking to this girl for a few months
- 14:47Speaker 4: and we've gone out a few times. Other than her
- 14:49Speaker 4: randomly canceling plans all the time, things have been going well.
- 14:54Speaker 4: So I asked her if I could see her more
- 14:56Speaker 4: and take her on a real date. She was wishy
- 14:59Speaker 4: washy about when she would be free. In the next message,
- 15:03Speaker 4: she said that I could instead treat her by paying
- 15:06Speaker 4: to get her nails done.
- 15:08Speaker 2: I've told her that money. Why are you already laughing, Gabe.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I've told her that money is a bit tight this month,
- 15:15Speaker 4: so I asked her what the cost was, and I
- 15:17Speaker 4: told her I would think about it. I then told
- 15:19Speaker 4: her that I would try to do it more regularly
- 15:22Speaker 4: if we were in a relationship. Her response to me
- 15:26Speaker 4: was that I'm being cheap and that she is not
- 15:29Speaker 4: waiting to be tied up with me for me to
- 15:32Speaker 4: take care of her. She also said that there are
- 15:36Speaker 4: other guys in this world that would pay for her
- 15:39Speaker 4: to get her nails done and that I need to
- 15:41Speaker 4: show her why she should choose me over them, and
- 15:46Speaker 4: since she has a job and adult responsibilities, her time
- 15:50Speaker 4: isn't free and she deserves to be spoiled. Am I
- 15:54Speaker 4: the problem for not jumping at the chance to pay
- 15:58Speaker 4: for her nails when we're not even officially dating? Gabe,
- 16:03Speaker 4: Please give me your thoughts because you are cracking up.
- 16:08Speaker 3: I love this woman.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Whoever this is is the absolute goat. I would do
- 16:15Speaker 1: anything in life to live with this type of audacity.
- 16:20Speaker 1: If I could go about my day today thinking this way,
- 16:24Speaker 1: it would be incredible. You go, girl, You do what
- 16:28Speaker 1: you gotta do to get those nails done, because some
- 16:31Speaker 1: sucker will say yes, at.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Some point I love this woman.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Obviously, maybe not the greatest impression she's making, but who cares.
- 16:41Speaker 3: If you don't care, you go for it.
- 16:44Speaker 4: So you know what, maybe Tyler, you should respect the
- 16:47Speaker 4: audacity exactly.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I think this woman is a wild boy to quote you.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Here's the thing. I'm aware that the bar.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Is in hell, Ladies, Okay, it does not take a
- 17:02Speaker 4: lot for women to be like, well, he's such a
- 17:05Speaker 4: good dude because the bars in hell. However, I think asking,
- 17:10Speaker 4: I think asking for him to treat you to the
- 17:14Speaker 4: nails before you even want to go on a real
- 17:18Speaker 4: date is crazy work. I understand that you want to
- 17:22Speaker 4: feel like you're taken care of, and I understand that
- 17:25Speaker 4: you don't want to be wasting your time, but that,
- 17:30Speaker 4: I mean, it's such a vain ask.
- 17:33Speaker 2: And as someone who I'm very vain.
- 17:36Speaker 4: But if you're saying like you need to see that
- 17:38Speaker 4: he's invested, wouldn't it be more like pay for the
- 17:41Speaker 4: babysitter so that we could go That I would understand
- 17:44Speaker 4: a little bit more. But like, no, I just want
- 17:47Speaker 4: my nails done is an insane ask.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I just want my nails to look good, even though
- 17:53Speaker 1: you might not be the one who gets to see
- 17:54Speaker 1: him because I'm gonna go out with.
- 17:55Speaker 3: The other guy.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I want to live this way, So Badyler.
- 18:00Speaker 2: I think she's not the one, my guy.
- 18:02Speaker 4: I do not think that you're the problem for not
- 18:05Speaker 4: jumping at the chance to pay for her nails?
- 18:07Speaker 3: What your nails? Can you ask?
- 18:09Speaker 2: You know what? The last Tonge got my nails done
- 18:12Speaker 2: was like a year ago? Like nails like a full.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Second for real?
- 18:16Speaker 4: Really, I think it's probably like at least one hundred
- 18:19Speaker 4: because you have to tip your nail technician.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Couldn't Tyler buy those ones at Target and paint them
- 18:23Speaker 1: himself and then glue them bad boys on for I mean,
- 18:27Speaker 1: she didn't specify how he got this done.
- 18:30Speaker 4: And well, because then that could also be a date
- 18:32Speaker 4: and quality time. But no, I think that that's crazy.
- 18:36Speaker 4: I do love that Gabe is all for this.
- 18:40Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 18:41Speaker 4: Seven oh one two eight all one nine eight seven.
- 18:44Speaker 4: We also have this on Facebook. Is Tyler's potential dating
- 18:49Speaker 4: partner making an outlandish request or should he be like
- 18:54Speaker 4: down and just front the money. Tyler is looking to
- 19:06Speaker 4: officially date a woman that he's seen a few times,
- 19:09Speaker 4: but she said before that can even take place. She
- 19:13Speaker 4: wants him to pay for her nails to get done,
- 19:16Speaker 4: and he wants to know if that's a bit of
- 19:18Speaker 4: an unreasonable request or if she's right to just expect that.
- 19:24Speaker 4: I think that is an insane ask from this woman
- 19:29Speaker 4: and probably move on to the next one. Tyler, Gabe,
- 19:34Speaker 4: you our team this while away.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Baby.
- 19:36Speaker 1: I'm obviously trolling a little bit here, but I love
- 19:39Speaker 1: the audacity to wake up and genuinely not give a
- 19:43Speaker 1: f what anybody thinks about you is incredible.
- 19:48Speaker 3: Good for you.
- 19:49Speaker 1: You know what, some sucker will get these nails done
- 19:51Speaker 1: for It's going to happen. You just keep shooting that
- 19:54Speaker 1: shot at whatever dudes are on your roster. One of
- 19:57Speaker 1: them will say.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:58Speaker 4: Marisa text and said, Angie's right, the bar is in hell.
- 20:03Speaker 4: So he needs to really go above and beyond from
- 20:06Speaker 4: the beginning.
- 20:07Speaker 2: If he already said he would be willing to do.
- 20:10Speaker 4: It regularly, if they were officially dating, then just start now.
- 20:14Speaker 2: If that's the intention, good for her.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I mean, I did not think i'd see someone agree
- 20:20Speaker 4: with this woman, but I.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Mean, that's obviously ridiculous.
- 20:22Speaker 1: This She is going to spend five hundred, six hundred,
- 20:24Speaker 1: seven hundred dollars and nails over the course of the
- 20:26Speaker 1: next I don't.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Know how often you get nails, maybe how often you
- 20:30Speaker 3: get nails done. I don't even know.
- 20:31Speaker 2: I'm not a real woman, so I don't know.
- 20:33Speaker 1: This guy's gonna spend seven hundred dollars before she tells Tyler, actually, Tyler,
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm really into Mark.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Well, you never know, maybe this is what she needs.
- 20:43Speaker 4: Well, Marissa is team the woman. What else on Facebook?
- 20:47Speaker 2: We do have this up on.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Facebook and uh the Facebook, come enters.
- 20:52Speaker 2: They are not Team this woman at all.
- 20:55Speaker 1: There's a lot of runs here, but we'll start with Gretchen,
- 20:58Speaker 1: who said, Wow, this is crazy. I'm honestly surprised or
- 21:01Speaker 1: even questioning it. Please don't do this, and please don't
- 21:04Speaker 1: go out with her again. Probably some solid advice from Gretchen.
- 21:08Speaker 1: We had Greg who said, oh my god, which is
- 21:12Speaker 1: funny to me, Oh my god, run my guy, Julie run.
- 21:16Speaker 1: We also had Francis who said, run away, run away.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Tarren said, uh, nah, fam, She's not the one. Let
- 21:24Speaker 1: the plethora of other men pay for her nails, which
- 21:27Speaker 1: is kind of where I'm at.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And some dude is going to say yes.
- 21:31Speaker 4: The fact though, that Tyler even wrote into us to
- 21:35Speaker 4: ask about it.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I think he is really into her.
- 21:38Speaker 3: Maybe yeah, maybe he's just a nice guy.
- 21:40Speaker 4: Into her to see this, for this to happen to
- 21:44Speaker 4: him and him be like, maybe she's not the problem.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I think he's in. Pay for the nails and just
- 21:50Speaker 2: see where it goes.
- 21:50Speaker 3: You flipped the script.
- 21:52Speaker 2: Yeah no, because now, yeah, just do it. Just pay
- 21:55Speaker 2: for her nails.
- 21:56Speaker 4: Say that you get to pick the color though, Oh yeah,
- 22:00Speaker 4: elation pies.
- 22:03Speaker 1: It'll be you know, like in those photos where it'll
- 22:06Speaker 1: be like, oh what color was the guy in the
- 22:08Speaker 1: background shirt? Yeah, you know those videos I'm talking about.
- 22:12Speaker 1: That'll be like Tyler here where it'll be like, oh
- 22:14Speaker 1: what color were the nails in that picture? He doesn't
- 22:17Speaker 1: have a clue and he got to pick. Michelle said, wow,
- 22:20Speaker 1: move along. Julie hit us with a run, and then
- 22:22Speaker 1: Julia she actually has some sound advice, which who knows.
- 22:26Speaker 1: To Julia she always does put in some mature answers.
- 22:30Speaker 1: She said, cut your losses. It sounds like she's trying
- 22:32Speaker 1: to take advantage of you. If the gender roles were reversed,
- 22:35Speaker 1: it wouldn't be okay either. You are not obligated especially
- 22:38Speaker 1: since she doesn't seem that invested in building an actual
- 22:42Speaker 1: relationship which has nothing to do with material things like nails.
- 22:47Speaker 1: You know, I think we're just gonna always end with
- 22:50Speaker 1: Julia's comment, because it's probably the most sound advice you get,
- 22:53Speaker 1: especially from me.
- 22:55Speaker 3: All morning, First.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And foremost, Happy Father's Day to any dad yesterday.
- 23:06Speaker 3: We hope you had a wonderful day.
- 23:08Speaker 1: And if all you wanted was to sit on the
- 23:10Speaker 1: porch and drink a six pack and do nothing, I
- 23:14Speaker 1: hope you got to do that. If you wanted to
- 23:15Speaker 1: play some golf or whatever other dads do, I hope
- 23:19Speaker 1: you enjoyed your day wholeheartedly. Now, Angie and I have
- 23:23Speaker 1: kind of discussed this before, and this is very lighthearted,
- 23:25Speaker 1: so I don't want anyone's feelings to potentially get hurt.
- 23:28Speaker 1: So I want you to know that I am okay
- 23:32Speaker 1: with Angie's saying this. But we have talked before, like, oh,
- 23:35Speaker 1: do I get to celebrate Father's Day this year? And
- 23:40Speaker 1: I kind of sort of agree with you in a sense. Right,
- 23:43Speaker 1: So for Mother's Day, Corey is a mom. She is
- 23:46Speaker 1: already mothering every second every day.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Yes, she's already been sacrificing for her kid right and
- 23:55Speaker 4: in the most like exhaustive way, she's literally growing this
- 24:02Speaker 4: cuty little baby inside. And so yeah, pregnant on Mother's Day,
- 24:06Speaker 4: you are already a mom. Uh not having the kid
- 24:11Speaker 4: outside of the uterus. On Father's Day, you are not
- 24:16Speaker 4: a dad yet. You don't get to celebrate Father's Day.
- 24:19Speaker 1: In my opinion, Well, on Friday, I did something very fun.
- 24:24Speaker 3: I do on Facebook a lot.
- 24:25Speaker 1: If Corey and I go out to eat somewhere and
- 24:27Speaker 1: you know, I've never really been there before, I'll do
- 24:30Speaker 1: a little game where it's like, hey, where am I?
- 24:31Speaker 1: And I was like, technically, I'm not really a dad yet.
- 24:34Speaker 1: But Corey let me do a Father's Day dinner on Friday.
- 24:37Speaker 1: And it was just kind of interesting because Jewel said, yes,
- 24:41Speaker 1: you are, baby ge exists and is and she did
- 24:44Speaker 1: that in all caps. Already soon you get to hold
- 24:46Speaker 1: her and see her Happy Father's Day, and I thought
- 24:48Speaker 1: that was nice. You know, there were a couple of
- 24:50Speaker 1: people who sent me some stuff on Snapchat or just Facebook, yeah,
- 24:54Speaker 1: saying happy Father's Day, and I, you know, I felt
- 24:56Speaker 1: a little bit guilty being like, oh, thank you. And
- 25:00Speaker 1: if you are a guy and your wife girlfriend, baby
- 25:03Speaker 1: mama is pregnant and you want to be dad, I
- 25:06Speaker 1: think that all the power to you. Go ahead and
- 25:09Speaker 1: do it. Yeah, I feel like dad sometimes, not all
- 25:12Speaker 1: the time. Like when I wake up and have to
- 25:15Speaker 1: put together a crib or build this or get this
- 25:19Speaker 1: ready for baby G that's in that moment I'm like,
- 25:22Speaker 1: all right, yeah, dad, right, But on a regular Wednesday,
- 25:27Speaker 1: when I just go to work and then go home
- 25:29Speaker 1: from work and then just exist, yeah, I don't quite feel.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Very dad like in that moment, you know.
- 25:35Speaker 4: What I exactly, But when mom is pregnant, she feels
- 25:37Speaker 4: like a mom the entire time. I just think, however,
- 25:40Speaker 4: I'm excited for you that you're going to become a dad,
- 25:43Speaker 4: and I'm not going to begrudge you going to a
- 25:45Speaker 4: father's day.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Yeah no, I know you don't, actually.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Especially because Cory is the one who was like, let's you.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Know, Corey's allowed to make that distinction. I'll let Angie
- 25:56Speaker 1: a chill there for a second, But either way, I
- 25:58Speaker 1: just wanted to know what you thought. Seven oh one
- 26:01Speaker 1: two eight zero one nine eight seven. You know, if
- 26:04Speaker 1: you are dad and maybe your girlfriend, baby, mama, wife,
- 26:08Speaker 1: whatever is pregnant, do.
- 26:09Speaker 3: You feel like a dad?
- 26:10Speaker 1: All the time, or do you just feel like Dad
- 26:12Speaker 1: when you're doing other things. Let us know this morning
- 26:15Speaker 1: on Big ninety eight point seven, I.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Need some good.
- 26:22Speaker 6: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 26:25Speaker 6: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I have some good news for you.
- 26:31Speaker 1: As North Dakota and Minnesota they get ready to celebrate
- 26:34Speaker 1: America's two hundred and fiftieth birthday in a big way.
- 26:38Speaker 1: State leaders are saying the communities across the states are
- 26:41Speaker 1: already planning special events, exhibits, and celebrations leading up to
- 26:46Speaker 1: July fourth of twenty twenty six, from museums to local festivals,
- 26:51Speaker 1: even statewide projects. The goal is to highlight North Dakota
- 26:54Speaker 1: and Minnesota's history and connection to the American story. Officials
- 26:59Speaker 1: say it's a once in a lifetime chance for people
- 27:01Speaker 1: to come together, reflect, and celebrate the country's milestone birthday
- 27:06Speaker 1: in true North Dakota or Minnesota style.
- 27:10Speaker 3: July fourth right around the corner.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I always say it is one of my top three
- 27:14Speaker 1: favorite holidays of the year. This year, July fourth actually
- 27:17Speaker 1: on a Saturday, and I'm really looking forward to it.
- 27:20Speaker 1: It's just it's such a nice I don't know kind
- 27:22Speaker 1: of midpoint of the summer. You know, I feel like
- 27:25Speaker 1: we've been pretty lucky and had pretty solid weather on
- 27:27Speaker 1: the fourth of July in years past, at least for
- 27:30Speaker 1: the most part here in the Midwest, or from my experience.
- 27:33Speaker 1: And I'm really looking forward to July fourth this year
- 27:36Speaker 1: and America's two hundred and fiftieth birthday. Hopefully you check
- 27:40Speaker 1: out some of these celebrations going on in communities across
- 27:43Speaker 1: the entire states of North Dakota and Minnesota. And if
- 27:46Speaker 1: you don't know my favorite quote here, it is broken crayons,
- 27:49Speaker 1: they still color and the world is full of nice people.
- 27:51Speaker 3: If you can't find one, you gotta be one.
