- Elwyn: You know, Hunter Biden was the first, you know, presidential adult child to go through the, hey, you probably shouldn't have done business with this company mill. And apparently took all of the bullets according to that, because Jared Kushner is just, I think. Corruption with Jared Kushner that doesn't reach eight figures isn't isn't worth reporting on. Derek Peterson: What's up, y'all? Welcome back to the Before You Speak podcast. I'm your host, Derek Peterson. just f just processing the fire hose of my newsfeed with this guy over here. Elwyn: What's up everybody, I am Elwyn, and the fire hose of my newsfeed today is filled with conflicting analyses of the Israeli election last night. Derek Peterson: Dude, we're gonna get into that on the second half of of all of this. But I need to get better about the start of these podcasts doing a few things. One, telling people to like and subscribe. So like and subscribe, y'all, if you enjoy this content. And then two, acknowledge that I'm in a different location at the moment because we're getting some work done on our house. And my normal desk is now they're removing a wall behind it at the moment. So I would not be able to podcast otherwise. So I moved myself into the bedroom, which is why you guys see these fancy curtains back here and you know nothing else because it's my bedroom. So well let's jump into it. It's Elwyn: Where magic happens. Derek Peterson: quite quite quite literally. I mean, that's why would call it mag magic. so today we're we're gonna discuss news and events, and then the second half of this pod we're gonna jump into more like of a Elwyn deep dive on the Israeli election because that, you know, like it's interesting that this is the most I have heard Israel talked about in US elections ever, I think. APAC money, and then obviously we're in a war with Iran, which we partnered with Israel in that war. So Israeli relationships, US relationships play a big part in our politics at the moment. So I think both of us agree that it's worth you know, discussion and a little bit more of a deep dive because you know, they it's it it's impacting all of us in some way, shape or form. When you have people running for the Senate and they're they're constantly being asked about either APAC money or their views on Israel and Palestine, these things are credibly important. Elwyn: Well, this Derek Peterson: So Elwyn: was my therapy week. So I went yesterday. and as we're walking back to to the guy's office, he he just asked me, Hey, what's what's going on with the Israeli election? And like, of course, I've been working with him for a long time. I talk about a lot of the same stuff here as I do with him. But yeah, that he knew about it at all was you know, and and it's certainly enough to be like, I wonder what's going on, you know, this guy's probably paying attention, Elwyn's probably paying attention. I noticed it right away, wow, okay. Robert's asking me right right out of the gate, this is front of mind for people where it has never, I'm sure, been front of mind before. Derek Peterson: Yeah, well and if anybody follows you, they know that anything Jewish related, Jewish politics adjacent, Elwyn is in in the no. So Elwyn: I well I I I try to be somewhat in the know. grip more than the Derek Peterson: n I think Elwyn: average bear is my goal. Derek Peterson: I was gonna say I I have quite a few Jewish friends and you are the most active of all of them on social media when it comes to like, you know, posting about Jewish causes and different things like that. So which I think is a good thing, right? That's what that's what the US is all about. melting pot of different cultures. So Elwyn: Yeah. I just want people talking about it. The more people talk, the more they seek to understand. The more you seek to understand, the less shit baggy your your opinion is, no matter what. A a an uninformed opinion is usually a shit bag opinion. Derek Peterson: I would agree on that, agree with that completely. And also just want to apologize if anybody hears a sniffling. the allergies in Austin are the worst right now. So if hopefully the hopefully the audio gets cleaned up when we in editing, but if you hear a few sniffles, we apologize. So well, let's start here. two Dan Sullivan two Dan Sullivans, one Senate race, and a de is it a democratic campaign scheme? we're about to find out. which is The this has been talked about for a long time. And the most annoying part about this coming up right now is that John Oliver did like a piece on this, I think, two or three months ago, on last week tonight. So, but for those that don't know, the Trump administration's Justice Department has sued Alaska over the Senate ballot featuring two candidates named Dan Sullivan, arguing that voters could be deliberately confused. Initially, the lawsuit looked like an extraordinary attempt. by the federal government to interview with state elections. But there is some new reporting today that the New York Times reveals that text messages indicate that members of the Democratic Party, Mary Patola's campaign specifically, were involved in recruiting a potentially a second Dan Sullivan to make things confusing. what's your what's your take on this? Elwyn: So I I hadn't seen that reporting. My take is who gives a shit? right? Like no initially this is Derek Peterson: Well, they knew it. They've they've had months to prepare for it. So yeah, go fuck yourself. Elwyn: It it it was okayed by the Alaska Supreme Court. The the Alaska Supre Supreme Court ruled on this issue four months ago and they said it was fine. And if you've seen a picture of the ballot, the ballot very clearly identifies one Daniel one of the Daniel Sullivan's, whoever the Republican independent is. It says Republican independent right next to his name, and the other guy has nothing next to his name. Like there's no voter confusion here. Derek Peterson: Yeah. Well, I think it doesn't it says incumbent, right? I think they put Yes. Yeah. So they have Yeah, Elwyn: It says Republican and incumbent. It says both. So Derek Peterson: so they and that should be clear enough. If you don't understand what that means, then yeah, you maybe you shouldn't be voting. Elwyn: Well, also, it's a bit rich, to hear some Republicans talk about v ballot confusion when they won an election in two thousand based entirely on ballot confusion. You know, fuck off. Yeah, miss me. Yeah, yeah. Derek Peterson: that's right. Are you talking about the is that the Bush Gore election? Yeah. Elwyn: Miss me with that, where a whole host of, you know, old people couldn't figure out how to punch a hole through a ballot and Republicans were like, It's incumbent on the voter to know. If you can't punch a hole in the ballot, you shouldn't be voting. you know. Now they're like, Well, old people in Alaska might be confused, even though it says Republican and incumbent right next to one of them. It's like no, no to all of it. If it was a democratic plan, great, smart, do more of it, right? Like the idea that somehow Republicans aren't trying to rig or confuse every single election that exists out there. by limiting balloting places polling places and, you know, gerrymandering and making ID requirements requirements more restrictive and closing college vo polling places like a week before the election, which I think they're allowed to do in New Hampshire now, after a state Supreme Court ruling. You know, the idea that these games aren't being played i i on both sides is just insane. So now you're mad. Okay. Too bad. You had your opportunity in front of the Alaska State Supreme Court four months ago to argue this. You lost. Okay. Now the ballots are printed. The idea that the sitting president of the United States comes in and says, this election should be, should not be certified, but only if my guy loses. Right? This isn't a they're not concerned about ballot confusion. If it were ballot confusion, they would say this election shouldn't be certified, period. We don't know if this election is going to be accurately run because the ballot is confusing. Period. Leave the spoken part unspoken. But when he comes out and says, no, no, no, if Dan Sullivan, Republican incumbent, wins, it's all good. If Dan you know, if Mary Paltola wins, it can't be certified. This is absolute election interference. You know, it just I don't care at all about any, you know, anything that Mary Peltola might have had to do with it. And if you're the Republic if you're the New York Times, the fuck are you worried about this for? Why don't you print a story about Donald Trump's rape allegation? Derek Peterson: Yeah. Which we're gonna talk about in a second. But there's two things about this story that get to me. One, I think the overall theme of this story is just a byproduct of like, man, they're really worried about the how many Democrats may may win elections this time around. and it feels a lot like the you know, like when you're watching sports like football or basketball, and like there's an egregious foul on a play. But they make it anyway. the the receiver catches the football and then like the bat or the basketball player makes the shot and then they don't call the foul because it went in. And you're like, that's kind of what this feels like, where it's like, okay, that was obviously a foul, but since it went in, we're gonna not call it. It's like we live in a culture where it's like, that was fucked up unless we win, then we're gonna like let it slide. And I'm like, Yeah, it's not really what the it's not really the byproduct of of if it's unfair, it's unfair and we should fix the problem entirely. and I feel the same Elwyn: Well it's what it it that's what Trump's line has been forever. The elections he wins are fair. The elections he loses are rigged. i it now he's just saying it before the election. Derek Peterson: It's just yeah, it's if you've spent so many years dealing with a narcissist, which it feels like maybe half of our country deals with that regularly, which is maybe why they can stomach all of this Trump stuff, because I'm like it makes no other sense otherwise. But yeah, like the the it is the entitled child that's like I'm taking my ball and going home if I lose. And it's like, yeah, well, we want that to happen anyway, but you know, like Elwyn: Yeah, don't we don't want to play with you. Derek Peterson: yeah, exactly. And That's the overarching theme of all of this is it's just okay, they're again, Republicans are not running on policy across the board. we're hearing nothing. Everything is culture war bullshit. Everything is, and the flip side of it is Democrats have actually pivoted. Like we're hearing people talk about real issues, and it sounds like they actually give a shit. And you know, it Interesting thought experiment. I was thinking about this today because I know I think we probably have different answers on this right now. And I to be honest, in the current environment, this would be harder for me. But if James Tallerico was a Republican, would you vote for him? Elwyn: Depends on who the if it let's say if it was Tallerico versus Jasmine Crockett. I'd vote for Jasmine Crockett. Derek Peterson: Yeah. But it's interesting because I'm like, yeah, there is a there that's a struggle for me because in inherently I think James Talarico is probably the best person for the job. I think, especially after seeing how he's campaigned and how people in Texas have showed up for him. I'm like a thousand percent. But we're also facing a different issue right now. We're facing an issue that's different than one I think we've faced in politics in general, which is I would probably still vote Democrat right now, even though my value system tells me to vote Tal Rico if he was a Republican, because I think I align with him more. But I think we have a bigger issue in our country going on where we need we need balance, we need oversight, we need we need corruption weeded out. And we're not gonna do that if we don't get the Senate and the House. And so Elwyn: Yeah. Derek Peterson: there's a bigger there's a bigger picture at play for me, which is why this is one of the elections that I would be like, man. In another election where it felt like we had multiple options that were good and it wasn't as and what was going on in the in Congress and the in the House wasn't as extreme. I would probably say, Yeah, I could vote for a Republican if I felt like I aligned with them enough, but it's just not the time now. Elwyn: Yeah, I think for an end of one conversation that I've had outside of this podcast, I think other people are with at least in Texas, at least with Paxton, I think there's a lot of other people who are like, I can't vote for that guy. Like just th is this person a good human? The threshold hasn't been crossed. Now, whether they're voting for Tal Rico or not, it's probably an independent decision they'll they'll make. But For me it it I I vote straight damn almost always, and you know, you can you can criticize me for that, but when I see a Republican come out for, you know, universal healthcare, I'll start paying attention. You know, when I see a Republican Derek Peterson: Yeah, which we may. Elwyn: coming out forcefully for LGBT, continuing LGBT rights and, you know, making voting easier, not more difficult and being intelligent about gun control rather than just, wearing a jersey that has 2A written on the back, then I'll listen. But, the the issue for me is that on these issues that are really important to me, as a threshold matter, the Republicans just the they're just on the ab absolute opposite side. So, you know, would I if I had like a fully anti-Zionist, anti-Israel, you know, anti-Semite DSA defund the police kook on the Democratic ballot and Tallerico as a Republican. I don't know. I hope I would think about it, I guess. You know, I it it would be hypocritical for me not to, but I also think that what I just described is is absolute fantasy land. Derek Peterson: Yeah. Yeah. And I I think it we're just in a different place and time at the moment. You know, if this was, you know, two thousand and eight or two thousand ten I mean, 'cause there was a world where in two thousand and eight I was genuinely trying to figure out who I was gonna vote for. I felt like all three candidates had something different, like Obama, McCain, and then Ron Paul was the other option. And I felt like between all three of them I was I was genuinely like actually doing research on all three of them and I d all three had different policies and I actually think I ended up voting for Ron Paul i in that election but then later the second time around I voted for Obama. So well in general too, you know if this was a democratic scheme by Mary Patola to do it one, I think it's fucking smart. And two, Elwyn: Yeah. Yeah. Derek Peterson: I think it's yeah, like this is these are the games we have to play right now. Like and Elwyn: It's amazing and hilarious and awesome if it was a scheme that someone was like, you know what? Why don't we find another guy with the same name and see what happens? You know, and that guy Derek Peterson: Yeah, and if Europe Elwyn: had to make it through a ranked choice primary. Right? People Derek Peterson: Yeah. Ex Elwyn: had to vote for him. And there might be a lot of people who Derek Peterson: He went through the entire process. Elwyn: right there might be a lot of people who are like, you know what? Fuck both of you. I'm gonna vote for the guy with the same name. Just whatever. These votes matter. This is not this guy was not forced onto the ballot. Derek Peterson: Correct. Yeah, and this could all blow Elwyn: He made it through. Derek Peterson: up on them if they if if they if it really like there's a world where it all backfires, right? And so part Elwyn: Sure, could he split Peltola's votes? Derek Peterson: Yeah, exactly. But there the part to me is like, man, if you're frustrated about this, then you should be equally as frustrated about, you know, a random company sending out transmailers to, you know, Republicans in Texas to scare into voting. Like, you know, like where are we drawing the line on all this stuff? Because if you're If you're screaming that this is unfair, what about the the grossly you know unbalanced amount of money that Republicans are spending on these elections compared to Democrats, who are for the most part funded by people and not as much corporations? Elwyn: Yeah. W one one is a below the table corrupt corrupting influence, spreading lies, misinformation, and propaganda. The other is a third name on a list of three names, where the Dan Sullivan that is a Republican practically has a circle around his name going, Hey, Republicans, if you want to vote for Dan Sullivan, this one, vote for this one, right? With arrows pointing at it and everything. You know, it's it's abundantly obvious if you look at the ballot who it is. So no, it's just another manufactured outrage for people to, for for MAGA Trump folks to just scream about because all you need is one thing, one thing to hold on to. And it can you can use that to undermine absolutely everything else. Right? Derek Peterson: Yeah. And we we yeah, we see it over and over again. But well let's move on to this. This is dude, this is wild, man. Another rape allegation against Trump. Former Miss Swiss Switzerland accuses Trump of rape in a new congressional report. a new report released by Democrats on the House Jud on the House Judiciary Judiciary Committee including includes allegations from Beatrice, I don't know how to say her last name. Cool. former Miss Switzerland who says Donald Trump raped her in a Unor New York hotel suite in 1993. she alleges she alleges that Trump offered to help her obtain a visa and gain admission to college before the alleged assault. The White House strongly denies the allegations, which have not been independently verified. but the report also details accusations of with you know several other other women as well. I just Again, I was just listening to somebody talk about the what's his name? I think is Justin Tucker, the kicker for the Baltimore Elwyn: Ravens? Derek Peterson: Ravens. Yeah, who did the same shit that Deshaun Watson did and had like 16 massu massage therapists accuse him of sexual assault. Dude gets ousted from the league, and then of course the Kansas City Chiefs bring him in as soon as their other terrible human being kicker. Harrison Butcher, you know, isn't isn't the best kicker in the NFL anymore. And it's just like, man, like one allegation is he said she said in in in some worlds. and yeah, like if it's there's a world where one maybe one other person that you you were with, if it's like back and forth, those things can be convoluted. When it's sixteen allegations or more, or just multiple allegations, we're seeing a pattern of behavior. And anybody that is coming out and making these allegations, they are in t their life is about to get a lot worse. you as soon as you come out with this stuff, you're gonna get attacked, you're gonna get death threats, you're gonna get all of the shit. So, like, in my opinion, I'm like, I don't view this stuff as just fodder. Like, I don't view this, I'm like You're uprooting your life if you go down this rabbit hole. and, you know, potentially, you know, we've already seen it. Dude, look at how many people from the Epstein files have already been killed. Like there's a there's a real world where you put your life in danger when you come out with stuff like this at the moment. But what are you what's your thoughts on it? Elwyn: So the the number one thing that people, that that pro that Trump acolytes deflect with when talking about the allegations and the Epstein files that Trump is tied to is, well, who was it? Why didn't they come forward? Why didn't they put a name? Why didn't they make a sworn statement? Why, you know, it's it's chained o. Why is it chained Won't why don't they come forward? And they just, you know, put this this litany of hurdles that have to be cleared. before they might, before they say they will take this credibly. This woman's name is in the report. I think the report comes from a verified sworn filing. She has pretty explicit detail of what happened. he offered her the visa, like you said, said, one of one of his guys said, hey, why don't we go up to this hotel room or Mr. Trump's hotel room and we'll get this visa squared away. And she felt like uneasy doing it, but also felt like that's what needed to be done. They walked in, closed the door, Trump came up from behind her, grabbed her, and basically raped her. that's that's the allegation. We don't need independent verification of that. How are you gonna get it? You're gonna get the guy who brought her up, Trump, or her? Well, you have her, right? So everything that we've required, not we, everything that, you know, we've been told is missing to pin any of these allegations to Trump, almost all of it's here. Right? It it This one is just a really tough one to I think to deflect. The thing though that makes me, and I and I alluded to it earlier, the thing that makes me most angry about this is how little it's reported. The fuck are we doing? Right? Like, yeah, how how on earth, like Derek Peterson: Correct. We yeah, I learned about it through threads. I was like, that's how in God's name is this not running on every every TV channel? Elwyn: I don't think New York Times has run a story about it. I don't think the major news networks have run a story about it. I learned about it on either Threads or Blue Sky, you know, where they have links to all the documents. It is staggering, staggering malpractice on the part of media to ignore this. And I really don't care if some of them come out, and I haven't heard them say this, but if they were like, well, it's too close to an election, who cares? You the news comes out when the news comes out, okay. It it's exhausting to me, the double standard that the media holds Trump to compared to everybody else. and I he's not, but he is, right? Like I get he's not, but he is, Derek Peterson: Yeah, he's not even on the ballot. So go fuck yourself. Yeah, well sure. Elwyn: you know, but it doesn't matter, right? Like it Derek Peterson: So are you telling me that somebody if if if you're telling me that there's a Republican in Texas that hears about these rape allegations for the fiftieth time from Trump, and maybe this time they actually start to believe him a little bit and that sways them from voting for Ken Paxton? Is this the conundrum we're in? Elwyn: Telling you that the media organizations are so scared of Trump threatening them with a $25 billion lawsuit because he says that they ran this story in an attempt to interfere with an election, to to change an election. and that's why they didn't do it. That's what I'm telling you. You know, Derek Peterson: That makes sense. Elwyn: it it's it's about his threat, it's about their standing with him, it's about who owns the company in the case of CNN and CBS. the allegation Derek Peterson: Which Elwyn: is horrific. It's detailed. There's no reason to believe it's not credible. It's been run in media outlets around the world. It's not run here. Democrats to their credit released it. Democrats to their credit are saying that they want to appoint a special prosecutor to go into all this stuff, and that they're gonna subpoena fucking everybody. Good. But no, the allegation that we yawn at it as a nation is unbelievable, and that Derek Peterson: That. Elwyn: our media Which is supposed to be a watchdog, simply ignores it. They don't even yawn at it. It yawning at it would be like two column inches on page A seventeen. It's not even that. it's just astonishingly bad. Derek Peterson: Agreed. Yeah. And as a father of daughters, both of us with two daughters, like this shit is hard to stomach. Cause it's like, dude, you're we like as much people may not pay attention to these stories in a way and be like, this gives me some kind of permission to go out and do these things. But what it really does is it waters down the potential consequences of them over time. And so people that may be Willing to sexual assault somebody or can't control themselves or can't control their temper. You know, like that the threat and the thing that keeps people from just doing whatever the hell they want is the consequences of those actions. And we've just seen this for the last, you know, what, four or five years now, where you know, the Epstein files are getting buried. Sexual assault around every corner is just it's yeah, we're we're debating it constantly. Elwyn: Cornell seven. We talked about it when we talked about the Cornell seven. Derek Peterson: Like How do we handle this? I dude, I was having breakfast with a bunch of my progressive buddies that who all are raising boys right now. And we were talking about the Cornell 7. And they're like, man, this is hard. this one's because like, you know, when you're in college, Elwyn: hard about Derek Peterson: they're in the in essence, they're they're like, look, you know, like how many times were in college do you go out drinking? And then you like you're with a a group of people, and maybe there's another girl that's drinking. And you guys end up leaving. There's a lot of education now that you have to walk through with your kids on how to handle those situations. Like, man, if if if it's if somebody's even slightly inebriated, because like, you know, college is a a place where people go and make mistakes. That's where you learn how to become an adult. You get a little too drunk, you probably sleep with somebody that you shouldn't have slept with, and you wake up the next morning, you're like, God, I wish I didn't do that. learn that for next time, store that away and move on. And you know, like we're in a world now where for my guy friends that are raising boys, they're like, man, you know, like teaching consent is a very different thing than what it used to be because there wasn't as much of this intensity around it on the back end, which you know, like, but this is the this is the problem for me is it's like, man, if you are just a if If your kid is a decent human being and they're genuinely looking to protect somebody, this Cornell Seven case, if one of those motherfucking dudes stands up and is like, this is wrong, like and and protects her, is like, hey man, we gotta, we gotta stop this. Like nobody else, like we're let's let's let's cover like let's cover her and like let her sleep this off and like we'll you know take care of it. One person does the right thing, like this probably isn't a story, right? at least but because it doesn't continue to happen. It doesn't escalate to a point where they're texting their buddies. You know, and Elwyn: Yeah, but to those parents, do your fucking job. I don't I don't think it's hard. Get the get get the fuck out of here with it's hard to teach your son that if a woman is so wasted that you don't think she can that she knows what she's doing, don't have sex with her. That's hard. That's not fucking hard. Come on. This is it's Derek Peterson: Yeah. Elwyn: ridiculous. And to call it hard creates the excuse. It creates the permissions not but not a permission structure. But it creates this atmosphere well where when it happens the first time, the dad is like, well, it's really hard. It's really hard for my son to understand in the in today's day and age. So yeah, he made a mistake and he'll learn from it. It's like, no, no, man, no. He didn't make a mistake and he'll learn from it. Somebody, if there's somebody crying rape on the other side, they feel quite strongly about what happened. And I don't think that it existed in a blurred line, right? Like we both grew up We both went to college, right? I went to a college that was 70% women. Okay. It was great. Derek Peterson: Yeah. Elwyn: I don't I don't I don't ever I've never crossed the line. And the one time, frankly, that one of my fraternity brothers was accused of this, we had like a whole slew of people who could say, Here's what we saw, here's what we witnessed, here's what was happening at the time. That the alleged incident occurred, right? And he had to go to the police and, you know, answer to that. And there was nobody that was like, you know, saying, no, it was just hard for him. You know, he had a different story than she did, without question. But there was no like, these things are difficult. And when he was done, he was like, Holy shit, right? Like, I fucked up, right? And and no, it's not the these situations happen. Yes. But as a father, right now I don't have boys. But to me, if if you're raising boys and and you're somehow looking at today's environment as being difficult. And furthermore, if you're looking, I don't think that they're specifically talking about the Cornell Seven case. God, I hope not. If you're looking at the Cornell Seven case and going, Well, as a father of boys, this one's a hard a hard one to determine. Bro, she was locked in a room for five hours while her f while this fraternity Snapchat said come get some free pussy up here. That it it's hard to identify that as wrong. Hard miss on that one. I've I've I've no place. Do your fucking job, parents. Just do your fucking job. Derek Peterson: That I'm a thousand percent with you on because dude, I've been in this we've all been in well, not maybe not all of us, but like when I was in Los Angeles, we would go out every weekend drinking and there were times that girls came home with us and and in every situation that what there if there was ever a situation where I felt like a girl was too drunk, the whole protocol was like, dude, lay on the couch, let them sleep it off. Dude, I s Elwyn: Yeah. It's not hard and it doesn't require Derek Peterson: Dude, even the Elwyn: being a Puritan. Derek Peterson: no, it's like, dude, and you write a little note that just says, like, look, you were a little too drunk. Like, if you when you wake up, if you feel like bailing, go. if you want to hang out for breakfast, great. So like there is there was multiple times it's not that challenging to like really if if look, if anybody is hesitant or over-enebriated, that's just the line. Like, dude, if Elwyn: Yeah. Derek Peterson: if if you don't feel they're If you feel like at any point that this person is making a decision that they would not make in a in a regular being sober, then that's pretty much clear. Like if you had to coerce her to go home with you, probably not the right situation. If she was willingly like sober enough to be like, hey, I want to go back to your place and hang out, then cool. Like that's you, you're both on the same Elwyn: And and Derek Peterson: page. Elwyn: and I'm not ignorant of the fact that women have accused men wrongly and unjustifiably, right? The Duke, the Duke Lacrosse team and back in the eighties, Tawana Brawley in New York in New York City, right? These cases were manufactured out of whole cloth. And yeah, people's lives, men's li young men's lives got, you know, ruined or severely affected because of it. But to me, the the those cases are so rare. When actual cases of rape and sexual assault are so common that it's just, you hope it never happens. But if that's if if a young if a 19 or 20-year-old young male college student has to weigh the idea that he might be falsely accused, okay, that pales in comparison to the concerns that a 19 or 20 year old year old young college female has. When it comes to going home with someone and trying to have a have a one night stand or whatever, or it it doesn't even matter. It pales in comparison, right? So deal with it, right? Derek Peterson: I I agree with it. Yeah. Elwyn: When you say when you complain that that's too hard, it's like you're trying to eliminate the one thing, the one thing that a guy might have to to worry about when the number one cause of death with women is men. Derek Peterson: Yeah. It comes down to for me, like there is an there's this energy that people give off, right? Like and we see it, you see it in business, you see it in like the sexual world, you see it in a bunch of different areas of life. But when when somebody cares more about the thing that they're pursuing than the people that are around them, it's just evidently clear. Like I was reading a story about how years ago And I may have brought this up before about how they insurance companies will do personality tests with doctors because, like, depending on how they score on this test, it kind of tells them if they're more likely to get sued by somebody. And really, what it comes down to is the test is checking like, does this person come across like they're empathetic? Do they care about the other person? And that they have like their own set of values, or is this person? come across a sleaze bag that's just trying to upsell and get as much money as they possibly can get. Because the latter gets sued very often by because people go in, see the doctor when something goes wrong, they Elwyn: No. Derek Peterson: don't like him. But people don't sue people that they like and because they feel like that person had their best interest. And it's it's like, man, just fucking care Elwyn: You just throw us. Derek Peterson: about the person more than the situation. It's Which again, I understand that there is that can be a little bit more complicated. But in essence, if you genuinely care about somebody, there's a good chance that you're gonna make the right decision in protecting them in in a situation where they may have overdone it. And you leave it at that. All right. So we'll leave that there. how about Jared Kushner's alleged secret accounts? Two billion and a hacked phone. So investigative journalist Matthew Cole reports that the Dutch intelligence agents, that Dutch intelligence agents hacked Jared Kushner's phone in 2020 and discovered evidence suggesting that he had access to a secret bank accounts funded by Saudi Arabian and Emirati leaders. According to the reporting, roughly two billion flowed through these accounts connected to Jared Kushner's diplomatic activities, with hundreds of millions allegedly transferred to individuals involved in the Middle Eastern power struggles. Kushner's attorney denies that he had knowledge of or access to the alleged accounts and denies any wrongdoing. so Yeah, dude. Elwyn: didn't know about accounts with hundreds of millions of dollars in it. Yeah. Derek Peterson: Yeah, we're you know, it's like I yeah, there are Dude, there was this giant black bag. I was driving through the desert and it was full of Elwyn: Yeah. I guess if there was an account with my name that had three hundred million in it, I don't know about it. Right. So I guess maybe it's Derek Peterson: Well, you could yeah. Elwyn: true, but I don't know seems unlikely. Derek Peterson: Yeah, I'm gonna guess that if I had an account with that amount of money in it, that would I would be I'd just be staring at it all day. I think that would be my life would be yeah. Yeah, correct. Yeah, from a yacht. Yeah, correct. Elwyn: From a from some island fucking condo or mansion, you know, taking a break to drive your Ferrari every now and then and maybe start a war, apparently. 'cause also didn't he wasn't there a report that he took like fifty million dollars to get Rex Tillerson out as Secretary of State from some Gulf country? Derek Peterson: Yeah. dude, his dealings all throughout the Middle East are pretty ugly. You know what I mean? there's there's so much and the worst part about this is which is probably actually brilliant on their part, is that he's not actually a United States government employee. Yeah. Elwyn: That's right. He didn't have to go through a background check this time. He did last time. And no, he's not an official representative of the United States government. Which again should mean that, you know, go ahead and investigate the shit out of him. I mean, he absolutely needs to go straight to jail. The corruption is it's so obvious. You know, there's just there's just no way. It's like Jared Kushner should call up Hunter Biden and thank him. Derek Peterson: Yes. Elwyn: You know? Thank him for taking all the an oldest child is always, the stricter rules and earlier curfew and higher expectations with school. You know, Hunter Biden was the first, you know, presidential adult child to go through the, hey, you probably shouldn't have done business with this company mill. And apparently took all of the bullets according to that, because Jared Kushner is just, I think. Corruption with Jared Kushner that doesn't reach eight figures isn't isn't worth reporting on. It's only when Derek Peterson: Which Elwyn: it hits eight figures or more that anybody even gives a shit anymore. And now do we really give a shit? Derek Peterson: Yeah, which it we're all like, this is just this is just the life we live. This is it just happening. They're playing it by a different set of rules and a different game than we are, which is what's frustrating. And but to be honest, that I think that in essence is what's on the ballot right now with the midterms. I Elwyn: I think so too. Derek Peterson: I I think corruption, like, you know, it's it's funny because we talked about it a little bit last week where we were talking about how, you know, for the first time ever, corruption is like in the like a top Priority for midterm voters, and we're seeing people come out in droves. But I think, dude, even the lack, dude, Fox News, News Mac, all these right wing outlets that don't report on this stuff, I'm like, go fuck yourself. Dude, you guys were up in arms about menial amounts. And dude, if you ever bring up you know, Hunter Biden or Nancy Pelosi to me again, I'm just gonna tell you to screw off. Like it's not even Elwyn: Yeah, fuck off. Derek Peterson: like, dude, like. It's not we're past it now. dude, even six months ago, I would have given given you the Nancy Pelosi argument and been like, Yeah, there's corruption on both sides. I'm like, that dude, not at this scale. And then further, like in Texas, we're now we're looking at these races with Elon Musk funding Abbott in Paxton. And dude, Gina Inojosa tried to get Elon Musk and Greg Abbott's emails released because there's private emails discussing state business. and we have a she has a right to look at him as one of our legislatures. And they're they've the judge originally gave her access and then gave Greg Abbott the appeals. But like, dude, this it's happening everywhere. It's happening on the state level, it's happening on the local levels, people are buying off city councils for data centers, people are and you know, rural people in the rural part of the country are starting to realize like, shit, like people are coming after my lifestyle. People are coming after Our land, our our farmland, our our how we essentially live our life when it comes to farming and they're making it a thousand times more difficult. and then they're trying to plop down data centers, they're trying to use our water, they're trying to use our energy. Like, yeah, it's finally getting to a point where people are like, wait, what? Like, no. Elwyn: Yeah, if if if people are angry, I don't mind if you're angry that there's corruption on both sides, but you have Derek Peterson: Yeah. Elwyn: to be angry that there's corruption on both sides. It Derek Peterson: Yes. Elwyn: has to go both ways. You can't reserve all your anger for Nancy Pelosi, you know, and and not be angry in I think, you know, some sort of proportional way about what's going on with Trump, which would g of course mean that you're way more angry at Kushner and Trump and and this. But Yeah, you can you can be angry about s con congressional members trading stocks. Donald Trump has traded more, has made more stock trades the entire US Congress combined. You know, I think by a multiple, not just like one more. I think it's by a multiple. So yeah, I don't mind if you come at me with anger about Nancy Pelosi, as long as in the same breath, you're angry at Donald Trump. If you're not, you're just a hypocrite. So, you know. Hey, there's two Dan Sullivans on the ballot in Alaska though, so Derek Peterson: yeah, let's fucking cancel it all. Midterms are over. We can't that's the level of corruption amongst the Democrats for getting somebody that legally had the same name as the other candidate to run to create confusion. Even if that is true, like, yeah, sorry, like Elwyn: There there's two Dan Sullivans, there's five trans athletes in the NCAA. So it doesn't matter that Jared Kushner has made literal billions in private dealings with, you know, frankly our enemies. Derek Peterson: Yeah. If do you think dude the Republicans, if they thought it would work, they would force Ken Paxton to change his name to James Talarico. they if it if they Elwyn: yeah. Derek Peterson: thought that would win the election, they would do it in a and and I th that would get through in about forty five seconds. It would be done. Elwyn: And I yeah, I promise you if they really think that it'll work, whoever runs against Ted Cruz, there's gonna be three of them on the ballot. Derek Peterson: Yes, correct. Yeah, Elwyn: I'll run. They'll have to find other Elwyn Hutters. Derek Peterson: good good luck with that. Is there do you know if there's another L one hundred? I mean, there was went to school with another Derek Peterson, so like spelled the exact same way. Elwyn: Yeah, no, I've I've seen another Elwyn. I've never seen another Elwyn Hutter, so let's fucking go! Democratic Party, I'm your guy. Derek Peterson: Yeah, I was gonna say you're the first elephant. Again, there's no way I am not, because Derek Peterson is about as popular as Joe Smith. So Elwyn: Dan Sullivan. Derek Peterson: yes, Dan Sullivan, apparently. Elwyn: Ha Derek Peterson: So, well, here, I'm gonna let you take the lead on the this the last part of this, you know. I wanna talk a we wanted to talk a little bit about what's going on with Israel, because it looks like Net and La Netanyahu has lost some. pretty significant ground, but it also doesn't look like it's over. So tell us where we're at with all that. Elwyn: Yeah, he's both won and lost at the same time. so I'll start with two or three minutes on how Israeli elections work because I think it might be important to understand they're they're different, they're different in some meaningful ways. when i you know, we have a two party system. Most other countries don't. Israel is one that does not. So I don't know how many parties we're running in this election, but let's say it's twenty. Okay. the Israel, the Israeli parliamentary body, the legislative, the legislative body, such as to use a word that we would recommend that we would recognize, is called the Knesset. The Knesset has 120 seats. that's relevant because the numbers you're seeing, 54 or 53 for Netanyahu, they're talking about can they get to 61, which is a majority, right? 60 plus one, a majority of the Knesset seats. now. When you go to vote for in in in Israel, you are not voting for a candidate. You're voting for a party. Each of these, we'll call it twenty parties has submitted a list which is public and you know the order of the list of a hundred and twenty people that they would fill the s the hundred and twenty seats of the Knesset with. And so you go into the voting booth and there's twenty little index cards basically with the name and the symbol of the party, and you pick one. And what you're picking is their list. And at the top of that list, number one is the chairman of that party, Benjamin Netanyahu, Gotti Eisencott, Neftali Bennett, right? They're all number one on the list. But you're voting for one through 120, knowing that nobody's ever going to get 120, but it might be one through 20 that you're looking for on the bigger parties. So, and then there's a threshold for the party's votes to be counted at all. If a party doesn't get 3.25% of the total votes. They are not seated in the Knesset, and those votes don't count. It's not like ranked choice voting or anything like that. so then they go through some math, not super complicated, but not worth getting into here, and they determine how many seats each party has won in the Knesset. Okay. based on votes, based on votes Derek Peterson: Based on voting volume. Yeah. Elwyn: votes cast, right? now, no single party has ever reached 61 votes in the history of Israel. So when you're watching the news and you see, okay, Netanyahu is fifty-three, what it really is, is the block of parties that have aligned themselves with Netanyahu have have won fifty-three seats. Derek Peterson: Ga so that's multiple parties essentially that have that but they've all Elwyn: That's right. And that's Derek Peterson: but those parties have all agreed that if if they get the majority that they'll put Netanyahu in as the prime minister. Elwyn: Yeah, they're on record saying saying as much. They're known to be supporters of Netanyahu. Now, it's not quite so direct though, because what happens now, they're almost done counting the votes, is now the president of Israel, who has very little power most of the time, except for this process, he'll call the the representative from each party into his office and they will tell him who they support for prime minister. And then once he hears from all those parties, He will give one of those parties the opportunity to form a coalition government. It doesn't have to be the guy who has the most. in like 2019 or 2020, Neftali Bennett, he had like seven, his party won like seven seats, and he was given the opportunity to form a coalition government. So Derek Peterson: interesting. Elwyn: that'll go in and, you know, we'll see what happens with that. but so when you hear 54 and 48 for Isencott and blah, blah, blah, all that. That's what you're hearing. You're hearing the number of pledged seats in the Knesset, and you have to get to sixty-one. So that's the a primer. Where Derek Peterson: So what's your what is your what it so in the situation that they're currently in, break down like do you have the information on okay, where where does everything sit now and what happens next? Elwyn: Yep. So what happens next is everybody goes to the to the president, right? But what we kind of know is the Netanyahu block won, I think, 53 seats was what I saw before we jumped on. They're at 53 with some votes still to be counted. But those votes won't meaningfully change it either way. now that that those are votes for him in this election, more than other past elections. I think this is really a pro or anti BB election. Right. So he does not have 61. He doesn't have 61 Knesset seats that would vote for him. He did not win the election. He lost he lost 10 or 11 seats. I think he had 65. So he went from having the backing of 65 Knesset members to 54 or 53. That's a loss. Right. He lost support. But on the other side, Eisencott has 48, right? So he did not win enough. To say at the very least, my party or or my candidacy has more seats, more backing than Netanyahu does. It gives Netanyahu this position of strength. But the real position of strength in this election, and I think this is the this is probably the headline that's coming out, at least now, you know, day after the election, is the Arab parties. There's two primary parties that represent Arab Israelis. They turned out, right? The overall election election had close to 80% turnout. The Arab parties won 19 seats. They had they've never had more than 10, right? Derek Peterson: Wow. Elwyn: Now, as an aside, just because it's relevant, these these people, you know, these lists that were elected, I think Netanyahu's 54 seats, but that's the block, right? His party, the Likud Party, has like 24, right? Derek Peterson: Okay. Elwyn: They will seat 24. Knesset members. Whether or not a prime minister is chosen from this election doesn't matter. Right. There will be a new, let's call it Congress, a new, a new legislative body sworn in. There'll be a new speaker, right? That has happened. The Knesset election has happened. it's the prime minister's selection that has not yet happened. Now, back to the air. Derek Peterson: does that imp how how does that impact their I'm curious how that impacts the voting and and the prime minister's power by that being the case and also what direction do Israeli Arabs typically go? Like what's their if they turned out that means they're clearly like shit needs to change. Okay, so gotcha. Elwyn: They are voting anti-BB. Their their block is anti-BB. there's no question about that. I think the powers of an so Netanyahu will remain as interim prime minister, and legally he has fewer powers in that role, but I think without a doubt he will try and blow right past whatever that legal limit is and act. You know, he'll say, and I think he's already saying, Hey, I'm the guy that has the most support. I don't have 61, but the other guy has 48 and I have 54. I'm the guy that has the most support. The problem with Netanyahu, the problem Netanyahu has, though, is those 19 votes, they are the game, right? That's it, right? It's 48 53, which adds up to 101, leaving 19 spots, and those are the 19 Arab party, you know, seats. They are not going to Netanyahu. Right. They're furious at Ben Gavir. They they turned out to vote against Ben Gavir and against Netanyahu. So the the 53 that Netanyahu has, that's a hard cap. He's not getting to 61. And I don't think anybody, I think he knows that. This is not like a weird opinion I have. But Eisenhock can get to 61. Eisenhock can work with those with those parties, but Eisencott and Bennett and all of the center-left parties have said they will not align with an Arab party. There's an incredible amount of just fucking racism going on towards Arab Israelis right now in Israel. Right? So now I heard today that the majority of people polled, of of like citizens, want Eisencott to r to align with Arab parties. But he's Derek Peterson: Interesting. Elwyn: but he's worried that if he does. There's this guy, Lieberman, Avigdor L Lieberman, who's the head of a party that has six seats. He's worried if I align with these two parties, I'm gonna lose Lieberman, right? And that might not get me there anymore. And one of the parties, by the way, one of the Arab American Arab Israeli parties is a pretty shitty party, right? They are like anti Zionist, they are like pro Hamas, they are, I wouldn't want anybody to align to align with them. But the other one seems to be a pretty moderate Israeli group, So that's kind of where it stands right now. Derek Peterson: So is there enough votes for the challenger to align with some Arab parties and get to sixty one without having to get align with the extreme Arab parties? Elwyn: I don't I don't know. I don't think so though. Because Derek Peterson: Okay. Elwyn: he's at 48. I don't I think it was like pretty close between the two Arab parties, like ten and nine or eleven and eight. so I think he would have to align with both. Right. Derek Peterson: With both. That makes sense. Elwyn: or somehow pull support from one of the Netanyahu blocks. Right. Because that can Derek Peterson: Interesting. Elwyn: happen. People can people can switch. But Derek Peterson: Okay, so but what's the time frame for that? So if people can because it sound what it sounds like to me is about to happen is that because nobody hit sixty-one, there's going to be some further runoff or additional information. So but they've essentially narrowed it down to these two, if that sounds right. So now they're gonna Elwyn: Yeah, but I that Derek Peterson: vie for like you know, trying to get some of these people to flip. Elwyn: Yeah, any anything can happen, right? So they could go in and this guy Lieberman, I brought him up before, he's a pretty far right guy. He really doesn't like Netanyahu, but he's pretty far to the right. And Israeli society, like we have to understand, is further right than than we are. Derek Peterson: Mm-hmm. Elwyn: so and that's just how they roll. so this guy Lieberman is there a world where he says, you know what, put me up. I can take some of the Netanyahu block and I'll take this, or whatever. I can get to sixty one. I don't think he would align with one of the Arab parties either, but he could change his mind, right? People want to be prime minister. He could he could switch. Anything can happen. Derek Peterson: Interesting. What's the timeline for all of this? Elwyn: So I think the president I don't know when the meetings with the president start to happen, but I think they happen over a week and then you're given a certain amount of time with which to form your government. And if you can't, then you do another election. Derek Peterson: Okay. So the wow, that's it, that's interesting. So we're not gonna have any like clear idea of what's going on with all this for probably at least another week or two, right? Elwyn: Yeah, yeah, I would think so. Derek Peterson: What's your desired outcome? Elwyn: Anybody but Netanyahu, in a sense, you know, the not in a sense. I mean, I would I would be voting for any one of the Eisencult blocks. You know, I think it's important to recognize that in terms of like the things that we hear in the news here, what's going on in Gaza primarily, these party these guys are all kind of the same. There's not that much difference. There is some difference in what's going on in the settlements in the West Bank. There is a lot of difference on some domestic issues like whether or not ultra-Orthodox Jews have to serve in the military like everybody else does. And also some anti-Netanyahu, you know, or or or power limiting laws that the Knesset that is elected can sign, can pass, right? So there's a law that says if you've been in indicted for a crime, you cannot run for prime minister. Netanyahu's been indicted for a crime. That is an anti-Netanyahu bill. It was written to get him out. Right. This Knesset could pass that law. Right. They they are seated. Right? It's kind of like our Congress gets seated on the 6th of January. The president doesn't get sworn in until the 21st. So there are things that can happen along the way, but it's very messy. And I think the the thing for me, and this is just my personal my personal opinion, that I think Israelis The the nation of Israel is walking itself into a trap when it comes to how Americans view it. And that trap is goes like this. Israel talks long and loud about how they are the only true democracy, how they are not an apartheid state. How if they were an apartheid state, would two million Arabs be allowed to vote? Would Arabs be allowed to sit in the Knesset? Would they be judges and hospital CEOs and lawyers and, you know, woven into the society if they were, you know, Some sort of anti-democratic, apartheid hellhole? Of course not. So they use this, the inclusion of Arabs, to pro to tr to argue against all these, you know, anti-Zionist people who scream apartheid state at them. Well, it's a little bit you you kind of have to put the rubber to the road now on that, I think. Where if the whole thing falls apart because no one wants to align with Arab parties. Then aren't those people, aren't those voters just disenfranchised? Right? Aren't they just told that your vote doesn't matter because the two main parties, or the two the the the primary candidates, all the other parties, will never align with you. We're just not gonna listen to you or align with you, right? So it's like, yeah, okay, you can still drive on the roads and and own your business, but when it comes to having a meaningful voice in the government, what those what what Isencott and Bennett and Lapide and and Netanyahu are all saying right now is we will not align with the Arabs. Well then it becomes very, very difficult to brag about how willing you are to work with the Arabs and how much that shows your democratic bona fides and and you know values because when it comes down to it, you're not willing to work with them. Derek Peterson: Makes sense. Well, we'll we'll I think we'll probably need to circle back on this over the next few weeks as we get some updates. So anybody that's interested in this, you know, keep following along. Like and subscribe. Elwyn: I'm your guy. Derek Peterson: Like and subscribe. Elwyn: I will give a shout-out. If you really are interested in this stuff, there's a podcast called Call Me Back. I get a lot of my information from them. They're they're extremely well sourced. The people there are on the ground there, they're the people who are, you know, in in the know at the highest level. and I get a lot of information from them. Derek Peterson: Nice. Well I need some information from you, Alan. Who we telling to shut the fuck up today? Elwyn: Kinda everybody. I'm so fucking tired of this corruption crap of these Jared Kushner stories of you know the naked corruption from Trump, the the million dollar bounty for election fraud. Like cool, Donald J. Trump, election fraud. Got it. You know, the Greg Abbott came out in the news that he has already been talking to the data center companies. He never really stopped talking to them. I'm just exhausted. By it. so anybody who has any opinion other than yes, these assholes need to all be voted out and thrown in jail, just shut the fuck up because like it's worse than it's ever been. It gets worse every single day. The stories get worse literally daily. And if you can't draw a lawn line in the sand now and say, when I vote for the Republican Party these days. I am voting for corruption. I am voting for the elite that I say that I hate. I am voting for our our biggest companies doing side deals with terror regimes in Africa and in the Middle East. I'm voting for giving Putin money and access and lifting sanctions. I'm voting for the the MBS in Saudi Arabia to chop up report Washington Post reporters. I'm voting for the corruption of Susan Collins. I'm voting for the corruption of Ken Paxton. If you can't get there, if now, if right now you can't get to the point where you're saying it has to stop. And at the very least, if it doesn't stop, I'm not voting at all. But if you can't find your way to the place where if Ken Pax if you vote for Ken Paxton or Susan Collins, they see it as you okaying the corruption. They don't see it as you held your nose and wish they don't do it again. They see it as a green light, right? We talked about how hard it is to raise men, you know, and and knowing where the line is, right? If you are voting for Ken Paxton, you are voting for the fucking Cornell seven, almost literally, because he, I'm sure, would give them a sweetheart deal. So just, you know, everybody that that's not there, you know, any media organization that isn't reporting it as such. Anybody that's seeking to hand wave it away or justify it or say Hunter Biden, shut the fuck up. Just shut the fuck up, right? You have no credibility and I don't want to hear your voice on this. Derek Peterson: Yeah. Dude, they need to make it so the amount of money that you stole or you know defrauded from other people in whatever situation is, is directly connected to your your prison sentence. Like we should just have like a a chart that says like if you stole like a million to like five million, it's this many years. If you stole like five million to ten million, it's this many years. And then Elwyn: You get Derek Peterson: Anything over twenty million is the death penalty. Elwyn: You get one hour for every dollar. For every dollar. Derek Peterson: Right for every dollar. Dude, there's gotta be like a we could definitely map this. Elwyn: Yeah, how much how much is fifty billion fifty million hours? Fifty million divided by sixty, eight hundred thirty-three thousand three hundred thirty-three hours, thirty-four thousand says that's ten years. Okay. Perfect, right? A dollar, a dollar for Derek Peterson: Which I don't even know how that's Yeah. See, that's what but that's what I'm Elwyn: every hour, and as restitution, you have to pay three X damages to the other party. Derek Peterson: Dude, there is we've got a bunch of people in jail for having like a couple of ounces of weed on them. and we have a bunch of people that are running free and just stealing millions and potentially billions of dollars right in front of our eyes, and no one gives a shit. This is the fundamental problem of what's going on in our country. And until we get money out of politics, none of this shit's gonna change. And so we've gotta like I my hope is is that next week, which Or are you doing anything for the mid or because we're we're recording the day after. So we're gonna be recording Elwyn: Let's go. Derek Peterson: we're we're gonna be recording the day after everything goes down. I might still be drunk. So like my I think next Tuesday I'm just going to just I'm I'm probably just going to sit in my garage and drink until I fall asleep. So you know in hopes Elwyn: I'm really looking forward to it. I can tell you that. Derek Peterson: that I wake up and things are slightly better, at least Cause like if Republicans win across the ballot, there's gonna be two things in my mind. Either one, I hate people, or two, they found a way to cheat. And so like there's those are the only two things I can I cannot imagine the feeling. Dude, even just and I'm gonna do a video on this. If you drive through my neighborhood, there is a Talo Rico sign or a Gina Inajosa sign just about every third house. it is bananas. I've never seen and I there's not a single Abbott. There's not a single Paxton. Like our neighborhood's relatively diverse. Like during the last presidential election, we still had a bunch of like, you know, Trump signs out along with Harris and you know, Waltz and stuff like that. But like, you know, this is this is interesting because there's not a single I've not seen a single Republican sign in my neighborhood. And so I'm really curious if if if This is the real deal. I'm really curious if Texas is actually going to flip a little bit. So Elwyn: I think it's gonna be a polling miss favoring the Democrats. Derek Peterson: I hope so. I hope it's not just a stolen election. Or else or else I'm gonna become just like the Republicans and I'm gonna be screaming about stolen elections for the next four years. So well what are we talking about next week, Owen? Elwyn: the fucking elections. Yeah. I had an answer this time. Derek Peterson: We just went over that. see Yeah, sweet. Well we're talking about the elections next week. And then how do we yeah, and our our sign off is important today. Elwyn: Our sign off. Remember everybody, as you go to vote, remember. Clarence Thomas is a piece of shit. Greg Abbott hates you. Susan Collins is very concerned about her poll numbers. Derek Peterson: Very concerned. and we will see y'all next week. Elwyn: See you next week.
