- 1:33Speaker 2: How's it going everybody, It's it's going great. It's a
- 1:39Speaker 2: Monday for this guy. I have never partied that hard
- 1:43Speaker 2: on a Tuesday Wednesday back to back like that before.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Went for went for it, tied one up, lost it,
- 1:50Speaker 2: found it, tied one up again. Really, I got drunk
- 1:53Speaker 2: twice on Wednesday? Oh really? Wen?
- 1:56Speaker 4: And so Wednesday was the day where you were at
- 1:59Speaker 4: the World Cup Final in Atlanta.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Against England versus Argentina. A sold out stadium, absolute blaring sound,
- 2:10Speaker 2: the food, the vibes. It was exactly what I wanted
- 2:14Speaker 2: it to be. I am happy to say that you
- 2:16Speaker 2: didn't take that eighty seven hundred dollars that the tickets
- 2:19Speaker 2: were worth at game time. Yeah, you're happy to say that.
- 2:22Speaker 2: We're happy to say you walked away from thirty thousand
- 2:25Speaker 2: dollars in gash between us four friends. That would have
- 2:28Speaker 2: been the number. But I understand why that ticket is
- 2:33Speaker 2: was worth that much. That was unreal. That was the
- 2:36Speaker 2: greatest human shared experience I have gone for. Okay, so
- 2:40Speaker 2: let me ask you this real quick. That's saying a
- 2:42Speaker 2: lot considering childbirth.
- 2:43Speaker 4: Yeah, at marriage nor.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Them give me with friends like you're one, two and three,
- 2:51Speaker 2: they're two and three. I mean by that, it's just
- 2:54Speaker 2: like out in the general public, just a viewing thing.
- 2:57Speaker 2: You are walking up to with them strangers and viewing
- 3:01Speaker 2: the same thing together.
- 3:04Speaker 5: It was.
- 3:05Speaker 2: It was I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it all over again.
- 3:07Speaker 2: And you guys all sat right next to each other,
- 3:09Speaker 2: right all right next to each other. And you see
- 3:11Speaker 2: me in a photograph of where it was in the stadium,
- 3:14Speaker 2: and I said, you should have just stayed here. You
- 3:16Speaker 2: probably could have seen it the same.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Ye.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we were, I mean we were those bleeding. So
- 3:21Speaker 2: did you drink in the stadium?
- 3:23Speaker 6: You know?
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah you did. Okay. People don't know about this, and
- 3:26Speaker 2: I don't want to make any Orlando sports fan angry,
- 3:29Speaker 2: but the one thing that I knew about Mercedes Mercedes
- 3:33Speaker 2: Benz Stadium Atlanta, their prices are unbelievably low. I really
- 3:40Speaker 2: it was.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Arthur Blank, right, Arthur Arthur Blank, owner of the Atlanta Falcons.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Who I crashed at his ranch once. He didn't know
- 3:47Speaker 2: I lived with him, but I did.
- 3:48Speaker 7: Yah.
- 3:48Speaker 4: Yeah, he That was his concession for the fans as
- 3:54Speaker 4: they built this giant thing. And when you're ticket prices
- 3:56Speaker 4: are going crazy with this brand new Mercedes.
- 4:01Speaker 2: Stadium. You know, you and I both been there now.
- 4:05Speaker 4: It's an awesome venue, but the the concession prices are reasonable.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, what is reasonable? What's a large beer cost there?
- 4:14Speaker 2: I think like eight bucks?
- 4:15Speaker 8: No, it's not kind of like going to what do
- 4:18Speaker 8: you call the players where you can get really good
- 4:23Speaker 8: food prices.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Yeah, the sandwich is like a dollar and a half,
- 4:26Speaker 2: two buck or something like that for a hot dog. Yeah,
- 4:29Speaker 2: like it was cheap, cheap, Well then we made use
- 4:32Speaker 2: of it. That's really good, man. I mean that's eight
- 4:35Speaker 2: bucks of beer. Is like, that's very reasonable. Let's you
- 4:37Speaker 2: get a brewery and spend more than eight dollars of.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Beer, see a movie and spend more than eight bucks
- 4:42Speaker 3: on a beer.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Refills on the cokes there, I was drinking so much
- 4:47Speaker 2: ConA big way. Oh yeah, that was surfing. Yeah, that
- 4:50Speaker 2: was the food. Good food was so good. Atlanta has
- 4:53Speaker 2: really good food. And and then just shout out to
- 4:56Speaker 2: wealthy friends. I've got too wealthy friends. You're wealthy. I
- 5:00Speaker 2: thought it was the other people in that at the game.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Yeah no, no, you're probably got money for ticket, you
- 5:05Speaker 2: got some money. Well, it was just they got out
- 5:09Speaker 2: to really nice restaurants and uh, I just of course,
- 5:13Speaker 2: I'm very grateful for having I mean it was we
- 5:16Speaker 2: got We gave ourselves goosebumps every hour when we were
- 5:19Speaker 2: hanging out because we made this decision when we were kids.
- 5:23Speaker 2: We I mean, I've known these guys now for over
- 5:26Speaker 2: twenty plus years. You guys had this conversation about going
- 5:30Speaker 2: to the World Cup as children, not not the World
- 5:33Speaker 2: Cup specifically, but we were still we acknowledged that we
- 5:36Speaker 2: were still hanging out with the same people. Yeah, and
- 5:39Speaker 2: we took great We were just so happy about that. Also,
- 5:43Speaker 2: when I say shout out to wealthy friends, like we
- 5:45Speaker 2: stayed in a penthouse by luck. You love good deals,
- 5:49Speaker 2: Jim deal. This was the greatest deal I've ever ran into.
- 5:53Speaker 2: It was ahouse and that's just the magazine. It's downtown.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I stayed in downtown Atlanta. There's like a margarete Ville
- 6:01Speaker 2: Marriott something. I don't even know why. I didn't understand
- 6:05Speaker 2: how we got this room and it was cheaper than
- 6:09Speaker 2: what our original hotel was because this rich guy was like, oh,
- 6:12Speaker 2: I thought the World Club was going to sell this
- 6:14Speaker 2: thing out on the semifinal. It didn't. You guys lucked out.
- 6:16Speaker 2: I dropped the price like by sixty percent and we
- 6:20Speaker 2: found it. So I was in a penthouse in downtown Atlanta,
- 6:23Speaker 2: overlooking the FanFest that is, it was a soccer festival.
- 6:27Speaker 2: It was what my dreams were made of. How long
- 6:29Speaker 2: did it take you to get out of the stadium
- 6:31Speaker 2: after the game was over? Oh, great question. It felt
- 6:35Speaker 2: like I had just had sex. After that final whistle
- 6:39Speaker 2: blew and every It was like I said, dude, I've
- 6:42Speaker 2: never experienced anything like this. Everyone stood, eighty thousand people
- 6:46Speaker 2: back row, front row, everyone standing. No one sat. Wow,
- 6:50Speaker 2: not a single person sat. What was the vibe? Who
- 6:53Speaker 2: had more fans Argentina by a long shot. And it
- 6:55Speaker 2: was the greatest display of fandom I've ever seen in
- 6:57Speaker 2: my entire life. Who were you rooting for England? Who
- 7:01Speaker 2: did you bet on England? Did you really? Did you
- 7:04Speaker 2: lose one hundred dollars one hundred and fifty because I
- 7:08Speaker 2: also had a fifty dollars prop bet. But that was
- 7:09Speaker 2: also like the most gamling I've ever done in a
- 7:12Speaker 2: single two bet on a certain score score. Yeah, Harry,
- 7:16Speaker 2: I thought, I thought Harry Kane was I thought he
- 7:18Speaker 2: was still dad that I thinks that's the funniest name
- 7:21Speaker 2: in the history of sports. I mean, what parents, Well,
- 7:25Speaker 2: it's odd that his name is an adjective and now, yeah,
- 7:28Speaker 2: but you can't explain its spell but an I that's true.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I Uh, it was phenomenal the Argentina fans. That was magical.
- 7:37Speaker 2: I there were so many things like I just to
- 7:40Speaker 2: elaborate on, like it felt like I had sex as
- 7:42Speaker 2: soon as that final whistle blue you because he was exhausting,
- 7:46Speaker 2: because every woman around you was disappointed. Because the tension
- 7:50Speaker 2: in that stadium was building, and it was building even
- 7:54Speaker 2: before the match started. It was just so tense, like,
- 7:57Speaker 2: oh my god, it's happening right here. It is the
- 8:00Speaker 2: unflicked and we're going to see the resolution and see
- 8:02Speaker 2: the end result. And these guys, legit, do not like
- 8:05Speaker 2: each other. Like I found that out because the clips
- 8:07Speaker 2: that I saw after the match in the streets of
- 8:09Speaker 2: Atlanta shows you that England was not cool about losing
- 8:14Speaker 2: this match. They were patently uncool. I mean there's clips
- 8:18Speaker 2: of soccer fans of all of their low lights, you know.
- 8:22Speaker 2: I also saw clips of Argentina, who, let's just say
- 8:25Speaker 2: they don't have the greatest record when it comes to racism,
- 8:28Speaker 2: and their fans are in Atlanta. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I gotcha.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Let's say they squabbled up with Atlanta police. There saw
- 8:36Speaker 2: a lot of really indignant English dudes that obviously had
- 8:40Speaker 2: way too many beers, just popping off in the streets
- 8:43Speaker 2: and just getting checked you know, oh yeah exactly. But
- 8:49Speaker 2: it was it was so magical to be in that
- 8:53Speaker 2: stadium and to feel the collective like knocking of the knees,
- 8:59Speaker 2: when that last whistle blue, when everyone finally found out
- 9:03Speaker 2: this is what happened, this is the end result of today.
- 9:07Speaker 2: And I bottle that up. That was unreal seeing the
- 9:12Speaker 2: songs the I mean, imagine pulling up into Atlanta, as
- 9:15Speaker 2: you're getting closer to the stadium, you just hear a
- 9:18Speaker 2: Spanish chant from the Argentinian fans echoing through downtown Atlanta
- 9:24Speaker 2: off of the buildings. As you keep getting closer to
- 9:26Speaker 2: the stadium, it keeps getting louder and louder, and next
- 9:30Speaker 2: thing you know, you are in a sea of blue
- 9:33Speaker 2: and white. Yea pretending to know the song. I don't
- 9:37Speaker 2: know their songs. Yeah, Argentina fans at each score, Oh,
- 9:44Speaker 2: especially when the MESSI dealt the last one, and then
- 9:47Speaker 2: the header was going in and we had to assist
- 9:49Speaker 2: that second goal. Literally, That's why I felt like I
- 9:51Speaker 2: had sex, dude. It was very insane when that second
- 9:55Speaker 2: goal went in. The stadium rocked multiple times throughout the
- 9:58Speaker 2: whole experience of being there, but when that second goal
- 10:01Speaker 2: went in, it felt words are falling short. It just
- 10:06Speaker 2: felt like a physical push to everyone at the same time.
- 10:11Speaker 2: In that I think I even somewhat celebrated.
- 10:13Speaker 5: It was.
- 10:14Speaker 2: It was wild, absolute limbs, Jim, that's what they call it.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I was buzzing on the scenes, a lot of limbs,
- 10:20Speaker 2: A lot of limbs buzzing on the scenes. Yeah, alright,
- 10:22Speaker 2: I like all that some soccer terminology. It was unreal.
- 10:25Speaker 2: It was worth every dollar. Yeah, I'm gonna use that
- 10:27Speaker 2: tonight in an oyster bars. See how it goes? All right?
- 10:31Speaker 2: Four seven nine went six one four one text us
- 10:33Speaker 2: at seven seven zero three one. Glad to have you back,
- 10:35Speaker 2: big dog. I'm glad that I win. I'm sure that
- 10:37Speaker 2: we'll have some more of her thoughts to that. Yes,
- 10:39Speaker 2: because there is a couple of handful of moments that
- 10:41Speaker 2: I also learned a lot about myself. Really, Oh yeah,
- 10:44Speaker 2: they all right, very good. Nothing wrong with us self discovery.
- 10:47Speaker 2: If you liked me before, Jim, I think you're gonna
- 10:49Speaker 2: love me at six. Really, I think that debatable even
- 10:54Speaker 2: after the fruit gushirt, come did? I don't think you
- 10:57Speaker 2: got it?
- 10:57Speaker 6: Move on?
- 10:58Speaker 2: I did get it anyway, dad, But that's some news
- 11:00Speaker 2: for us. Yeah.
- 11:02Speaker 8: Hesath comments on the Blue Angels low flyover above a
- 11:06Speaker 8: Florida beach. Two wounded deputies are still recovering after a shooting,
- 11:10Speaker 8: and how you can score some limited edition sneaks that.
- 11:14Speaker 3: Come with flasks. Oh yeah, yeah, that's what we need.

- 12:01Speaker 2: It's true and Depth has your news.
- 12:04Speaker 10: It's time for JCS news. Wow, this guy got a
- 12:09Speaker 10: push name on everything.
- 12:10Speaker 2: It's in my contracted here's the news on the Jim
- 12:14Speaker 2: Colberg Show.
- 12:15Speaker 8: And as always, JCS News is brought to you by
- 12:18Speaker 8: that mortgage guy. Don give him a listen tomorrow morning
- 12:21Speaker 8: when he's host of the Home Loans radio show. Democrats
- 12:24Speaker 8: are reacting to President Trump's primetime address last night that
- 12:27Speaker 8: focused on election integrity. Trump says the American election system
- 12:32Speaker 8: is vulnerable to interference and fraud as we head towards
- 12:35Speaker 8: the midterms. West Palm Beach Congresswoman Lois Frankel, however, begs
- 12:39Speaker 8: to differ.
- 12:40Speaker 11: Our elections here in Pombage County in Florida and around
- 12:44Speaker 11: the country are safe, and they are secure, and Americans
- 12:48Speaker 11: should cast their ballots with the confidence.
- 12:51Speaker 8: The president says that our nation's intelligence officials have discovered
- 12:54Speaker 8: that China exploited weaknesses in our voting system to gain
- 12:58Speaker 8: access to two hundred and twenty million US voter files.
- 13:01Speaker 8: But Frankel says Trump is just trying to divert voters'
- 13:04Speaker 8: attention from the Iran war and the fact that people
- 13:07Speaker 8: are struggling to pay their bills. Want to make your
- 13:09Speaker 8: voice heard. The deadline to register to vote in Florida's
- 13:12Speaker 8: primary election is fast approaching. It's actually Monday, July twentieth,
- 13:16Speaker 8: is the last day to register or make any changes
- 13:19Speaker 8: to your registration that would include party affiliation.
- 13:22Speaker 3: According to the Department of State.
- 13:24Speaker 8: That's important to remember because Florida is a closed primary state,
- 13:28Speaker 8: meaning only voters who are registered members of Democrats or
- 13:31Speaker 8: Republicans are going to be able to cast ballots for
- 13:34Speaker 8: those candidates. Jack and I will get to do things
- 13:36Speaker 8: like school board judges, judges. Yeah, the non fun stuff
- 13:43Speaker 8: getting shut out. The Florida primary election is set for
- 13:46Speaker 8: August eighteenth, all right. The Florida Democrats are holding their
- 13:51Speaker 8: largest fundraiser of the year in Lake Buenavista this weekend.
- 13:55Speaker 8: A thousand people are expected to attend the Leadership Blue
- 13:59Speaker 8: gala tomorrow night eight, including candidates and donors and volunteers.
- 14:03Speaker 8: House and Senate victory spokesperson Anders Kroi says Democratic candidates
- 14:07Speaker 8: are turning out no party affiliated voters across Florida.
- 14:11Speaker 9: Democrats for winning npahs by large margins, peeling off to
- 14:14Speaker 9: effective Republican voters and have consolidated a fired up base
- 14:18Speaker 9: that is sick of the increased cost, chaos and corruption
- 14:21Speaker 9: that has defined the last eighteen months.
- 14:23Speaker 8: Now, the director of the Democratic Party will be discussed
- 14:25Speaker 8: this weekend, as democratic socialism is on the rise, and
- 14:29Speaker 8: again voter registration has a disadvantage. There's a million and
- 14:32Speaker 8: a half more Republicans than than there are Democrats in
- 14:35Speaker 8: the state of Florida. But really, it's always the independence.
- 14:38Speaker 5: It is.
- 14:39Speaker 3: It's always the independence.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Always.
- 14:41Speaker 8: Secretary of War Pete haig Seth is weighing in after
- 14:44Speaker 8: the US Navy's Blue Angels conducted that low flyover above
- 14:48Speaker 8: a crowded Florida beach. Officials say they're conducting a review
- 14:51Speaker 8: of that low altitude pass over Pensacola Beach that happened
- 14:54Speaker 8: on Wednesday, sending sand shares and tents flying as it
- 14:58Speaker 8: passed over the crowd. The other thing I do didn't
- 15:00Speaker 8: notice was the amount of kids. I didn't realize how
- 15:02Speaker 8: loud the jet would be going over. Yeah, so they showed.
- 15:06Speaker 8: I didn't realize that because a lot of the adults
- 15:08Speaker 8: were fist pumping. Yeah what heg Seth's say, y'all soft?
- 15:12Speaker 7: No.
- 15:12Speaker 8: In a post, heg Seth wrote, quote, the flyovers will
- 15:16Speaker 8: continue until morale improves.
- 15:18Speaker 3: End quote, So y'all soft?
- 15:21Speaker 8: And the White House shared photos of the flyover with
- 15:24Speaker 8: the caption quote it's okay to love America end quote.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Navy officials completed a safety review after acknowledging the maneuver
- 15:31Speaker 8: was lower than standard, but no Blue Angel pilots will
- 15:34Speaker 8: be reprimanded or fired.
- 15:36Speaker 2: If somebody just thought of themselves, Well, maybe our safety
- 15:40Speaker 2: was not exactly thought of here. That that is like,
- 15:42Speaker 2: you know, well, I'm not a Patriot now because I
- 15:45Speaker 2: was worried about my family safety. Look, I thought it
- 15:47Speaker 2: was kind of cool too, but I mean, you know,
- 15:49Speaker 2: it's kind of funny. Hey could have been kid rocking
- 15:51Speaker 2: a chopper.
- 15:54Speaker 8: Another note about flying, a new form of flying is
- 15:57Speaker 8: just now coming online electric battery Howard drones large enough
- 16:01Speaker 8: to carry passengers. Fox thirty five spoke to Kevin Thompson,
- 16:05Speaker 8: Assistant vice president of Planning with the Orlando Aviation Authority,
- 16:08Speaker 8: who says Orlando International Airport is building a temporary vertic
- 16:12Speaker 8: stop for electrical vertical takeoff and landing aircraft.
- 16:17Speaker 12: We expect this to be the first airport sponsored vertiport
- 16:20Speaker 12: for to stop project at a commercial service airport.
- 16:23Speaker 8: So officials hope to have a fully functional vertiport by
- 16:26Speaker 8: twenty thirty as commercial air taxi service becomes more viable
- 16:30Speaker 8: as the technology continues to advance. All right, nobody's flying
- 16:35Speaker 8: right now, and that's because the National Hurricane Center is
- 16:37Speaker 8: continuing to watch an area of disturbed weather near the
- 16:40Speaker 8: northeastern Gulf right now. Forcasters say there's a greater chance
- 16:43Speaker 8: now is up to thirty percent chance of developing into
- 16:46Speaker 8: a tropical system over the next week, even if it
- 16:48Speaker 8: never gets a name, though Central Florida is still expected
- 16:51Speaker 8: to feel the impacts. The biggest concern will be periods
- 16:54Speaker 8: of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and localized flooding through the weekend
- 16:57Speaker 8: and into early next week. And of course we're already
- 17:00Speaker 8: getting a taste of that with the thunderstorms that are
- 17:02Speaker 8: out right now.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Oh is this weekend this weekend? All right? Yes, just
- 17:09Speaker 2: stay inside and read a book. Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 8: Basically, it's supposed to be a pretty sloppy, especially into
- 17:15Speaker 8: the afternoon and evening Saturday into Sunday, and especially in
- 17:18Speaker 8: the Monday.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Ross, I don't I'm going to read a book. I'm
- 17:20Speaker 2: going to be playing video games. Yeah.
- 17:21Speaker 8: Well, last week you said you were going to I
- 17:23Speaker 8: expect you to be watching the soccer match or a
- 17:26Speaker 8: baseball game, and instead you read a book.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I know, it's so weird.
- 17:29Speaker 3: I know, I don't even know you.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Who does that?
- 17:33Speaker 3: All right?
- 17:33Speaker 8: One of the deputies shot by a domestic violent suspect
- 17:36Speaker 8: in Ruskin on Thursday could be released from the hospital
- 17:39Speaker 8: as soon as today.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Yeah, it is. It's very awesome.
- 17:43Speaker 8: Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Cronister says, millimeters literally millimeters, We're
- 17:50Speaker 8: all that separated Deputy Colton Daniels from life threatening injuries.
- 17:54Speaker 2: How do you get shot in the neck. The bullet
- 17:57Speaker 2: goes in the front and out the back and hit
- 18:00Speaker 2: no major arteries. Does it hit his spine?
- 18:02Speaker 3: Which is incredible.
- 18:03Speaker 8: The other wounded deputy, a Safarmoni Moon, is undergoing another
- 18:07Speaker 8: round of surgery after a bullet struck his cheek and
- 18:10Speaker 8: another went into his hand. A third deputy shot and
- 18:13Speaker 8: killed suspect Chris Muchowski. This is a crazy update on
- 18:19Speaker 8: this story. A federal judge based in Fort Myers who
- 18:21Speaker 8: recently ordered the release of a convicted Cuban plane hijacker
- 18:25Speaker 8: has died.
- 18:26Speaker 7: What.
- 18:27Speaker 8: We just covered this story last week. We heard this,
- 18:30Speaker 8: We just covered this story. Judge John Steele served on
- 18:33Speaker 8: the U. S. District Court for the Middle District of
- 18:35Speaker 8: Florida and passed away this week under circumstances that have
- 18:39Speaker 8: not been disclosed. Steele drew national attention after ruling that
- 18:44Speaker 8: Michael Gera Morales, who served more than twenty years in
- 18:47Speaker 8: prison for a two thousand and three plane hijacking, should
- 18:50Speaker 8: be released from Ice custody while awaiting deportation. Florida Congressman
- 18:54Speaker 8: Greg Stuby responded by filing articles of impeachment against Steele,
- 18:59Speaker 8: accusing him of judicial outreach.
- 19:02Speaker 3: I guess they don't need those documents no more.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Man, I'm running out of tenfoil here, Jim. Yeah, I'm sorry, Dad,
- 19:09Speaker 2: I'm running out it. So this judge was like, no,
- 19:11Speaker 2: we got to get this guy out of Ice.
- 19:13Speaker 8: They've been waiting for months and Cuba is not accepting
- 19:16Speaker 8: deportation flights. So the judge was he had to release him,
- 19:21Speaker 8: and he onto the back onto the streets of Miami.
- 19:24Speaker 8: But now that judge has died and we have no.
- 19:26Speaker 2: No idea why. Yeah, I feel like when judges die,
- 19:29Speaker 2: like you got to pay attention. Yeah, that's one of
- 19:32Speaker 2: those things that's like a yellow light. You got you
- 19:34Speaker 2: gotta keep an eye out on one. Judge's missing, all right.
- 19:40Speaker 8: The man at the top of the Health and Human
- 19:42Speaker 8: Services Department is weighing in on the dangerous outbreak of
- 19:46Speaker 8: cyclosporiasis causing severe stomach problems.
- 19:49Speaker 3: The CDC is.
- 19:50Speaker 8: Zeroing in on shredded iceberg lettuce by one supplier, reportedly
- 19:54Speaker 8: Taylor Farms, served at Taco Bell.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Now that we know the probable, I think it's going
- 20:01Speaker 2: to be a much easier for people to make healthy
- 20:03Speaker 2: choice health. I'd rather have diarrhea than have him explain
- 20:06Speaker 2: why I have diarrhea. When he talks on a phone,
- 20:10Speaker 2: it sounds like like four phones were being used. Like
- 20:14Speaker 2: it's like one phone going into another phone. This is
- 20:17Speaker 2: like a guy asking for ransom. Yeah, he's trying to
- 20:19Speaker 2: hide his location. He's talking while at work.
- 20:24Speaker 8: Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Junior says,
- 20:27Speaker 8: the good news is the parasite is easily treatable with
- 20:30Speaker 8: a handful of drugs.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Do you know the part that bothers me the most,
- 20:34Speaker 2: him admitting doing hard drugs off of a toilet seat.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Okay, I'll give you that it can last two weeks
- 20:40Speaker 3: in your system.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I heard that two weeks. Yeah. That some
- 20:44Speaker 2: cases will stick around. They're like a like an aunt
- 20:48Speaker 2: that just won't go home.
- 20:49Speaker 8: Waiting till you have that very important business meeting that
- 20:51Speaker 8: you're only halfway through before your stomach says.
- 20:55Speaker 2: And you're tethered to your house because there's no you're
- 20:59Speaker 2: no way, not even ten feet away from a toilet.
- 21:02Speaker 8: I reported cases of cyclosporiesis have nearly doubled across Florida
- 21:07Speaker 8: this month. State official or state health data shows cases
- 21:10Speaker 8: increase from fifty to ninety six in just one week.
- 21:14Speaker 8: Anybody else being like extra diligent when it comes to
- 21:17Speaker 8: fruits and vegetables?
- 21:18Speaker 2: Oh well, I gotta tell you. I am my wife
- 21:22Speaker 2: and I went out to dinner last night, right, and
- 21:24Speaker 2: that's we're going out to dinner, and we're headed to dinner,
- 21:26Speaker 2: sitting there and lady comes up and says, would you
- 21:28Speaker 2: like a salad? He goes no, Like REALI I'm like,
- 21:31Speaker 2: maybe it's fine. It's not like it was Sextis roadhouse
- 21:34Speaker 2: where we went. And I'm like, yeah, baby, they're fine.
- 21:36Speaker 2: This is you know, this is not the kind of
- 21:37Speaker 2: this is not the lettuce is not the place she
- 21:39Speaker 2: like was real, not a hundred but she did wind
- 21:43Speaker 2: up getting one.
- 21:43Speaker 8: I know a lot of people are like, eh, I'm
- 21:45Speaker 8: just gonna cook everything until we know this is gone.
- 21:48Speaker 8: Health officials recommend not only washing protos thoroughly, but refrigerating
- 21:52Speaker 8: prepared fruits and vegetables promptly. In the meantime, to Trump
- 21:56Speaker 8: administration cabinet secretaries visited a Florida hospital.
- 22:01Speaker 3: You'll never guess, uh, visit with a dog? All right?
- 22:07Speaker 3: Jack or Ross? What would be your guests?
- 22:09Speaker 8: What would these two administration secretaries visit a Florida hospital
- 22:13Speaker 8: to do?
- 22:14Speaker 2: I give them an award for what?
- 22:17Speaker 3: Anything? Specific?
- 22:19Speaker 7: Oh?
- 22:19Speaker 2: For turning in immigrants? Ross? He took my guess, Uh,
- 22:28Speaker 2: I don't know, to make sure that like the cancer
- 22:30Speaker 2: bells are all good cancer.
- 22:34Speaker 8: That is a fine guest. I told you you wouldn't
- 22:38Speaker 8: guess it. It was actually to praise its food.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Oh.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yes, Health Secretary Robert F.
- 22:44Speaker 8: Kennedy Junior and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rawlins had meals prepared
- 22:49Speaker 8: from the menu at Tampa General Hospital by celebrity chef Jeffreys.
- 22:53Speaker 3: The carrion.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I formulated for the for the hospital and it's hospital food,
- 23:00Speaker 2: so they ate hospital food today. Yeah.
- 23:01Speaker 8: Zakarian's been working with Tampa General to upgrade their menu.
- 23:05Speaker 8: The hospital is the first in the nation to sign
- 23:08Speaker 8: RFK Juniors Make Hospital Food Healthier Pledge, which includes emphasizing
- 23:13Speaker 8: fruits and vegetables and cutting back on ultra processed foods
- 23:16Speaker 8: and sugary drinks. Never knew hospitals really had that either,
- 23:20Speaker 8: except for the nurses and the pas and the doctors
- 23:22Speaker 8: who need that stuff just to get through their shift. Yeah,
- 23:26Speaker 8: Kennedy says, Tampa General is large enough to show other
- 23:28Speaker 8: health organizations how to create healthier menus. Interesting, but advent
- 23:33Speaker 8: Health is like that, right, because it's Seventh Day Adventist.
- 23:35Speaker 8: Isn't there like generally no meat on.
- 23:37Speaker 2: No meat From what I think, it's changed a little bit. Yeah,
- 23:42Speaker 2: it may have.
- 23:42Speaker 4: I just remember the story that the one near us
- 23:45Speaker 4: there was a Wendy's that was on their property.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Oh wow, and they were not allowed to serve that
- 23:52Speaker 2: bacon pay shut down now, but it was right across
- 23:55Speaker 2: the street. You're one hundred percent right, no bacon on
- 23:57Speaker 2: their burgers? Was it was weird ordering an often need.
- 24:03Speaker 13: Hey.
- 24:03Speaker 2: You know the other thing too, is my my daughter,
- 24:05Speaker 2: my first daughter was born in that hospital and I
- 24:08Speaker 2: remember specifically saying that after she was born, like, we're
- 24:10Speaker 2: not coming back here. Yeah, I can't eat anymore or
- 24:13Speaker 2: whatever that is downstairs.
- 24:14Speaker 4: Mama, My youngest daughter was born in that hospital.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Really, yeah, you guys have shared history.
- 24:20Speaker 2: We did have our baby, the other baby, my other child.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I had her at the other hospitals, so we get
- 24:27Speaker 2: some food. Yeah yeah, yeah, and then we weren't even
- 24:29Speaker 2: there that long. That's crazy, all right.
- 24:31Speaker 8: If you are going to be traveling down to South
- 24:34Speaker 8: Florida for any reason this weekend, just be aware that
- 24:36Speaker 8: emergency crews are still working around the clock to contain
- 24:40Speaker 8: an explosive wildfire burning near the edge of the Everglades.
- 24:43Speaker 8: The West Broward brush fire has scorched about forty four
- 24:46Speaker 8: hundred acres and as of this morning was only about
- 24:49Speaker 8: twenty percent contained. Fire management teams are carving out defensive
- 24:53Speaker 8: brakes to slow the spread. No evacuations have been ordered,
- 24:56Speaker 8: but a heavy smoke advisory is active for western suburbs.
- 25:00Speaker 8: I mean, and they're talking that right now. The Midwest
- 25:02Speaker 8: has the worst air quality in the country, courtesy of
- 25:05Speaker 8: the wildfires in Minnesota that have now jumped into Ontario.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Other Canadian wildfire smoke. They're saying Chicago is hazardous.
- 25:12Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:13Speaker 8: Their soccer team had to delay their game or postpone it,
- 25:16Speaker 8: and they brought day camps inside because of the smoky.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Saw a shot from CBS News last night with New
- 25:21Speaker 2: York in the background, and it was gnarly.
- 25:23Speaker 8: Yeah, very gnarly, the whole Northeast and Midwest. All Right,
- 25:26Speaker 8: maybe you've been seeing these videos across your feed on
- 25:30Speaker 8: social media, but people who opposed a massive AI data
- 25:33Speaker 8: center in Palm Beach County feel like they dodged a bullet,
- 25:37Speaker 8: especially teachers and others involved with an elementary school that
- 25:40Speaker 8: would have been right next door to Project Tango.
- 25:44Speaker 2: As a teacher, one of my greatest responsibilities is protecting
- 25:46Speaker 2: my students.
- 25:47Speaker 10: They don't have a seat at this podium today, so
- 25:49Speaker 10: I'm asking you to be their boy.
- 25:51Speaker 8: Unfortunately, developers behind the project said they're not giving up
- 25:54Speaker 8: after getting a down vote from the County Commission this week,
- 25:57Speaker 8: and it was contentious. I'm sure they had two or
- 26:00Speaker 8: at least three people we removed from the meeting because
- 26:03Speaker 8: they weren't given the time that they were told they
- 26:05Speaker 8: were going to be given to make public comment. Another
- 26:07Speaker 8: one of those situations where we don't like what you're saying.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Sit down, I gotta tell you man, in Florida. That's
- 26:12Speaker 2: been happening a lot in city commission meeting. Yes, it has.
- 26:15Speaker 2: I at those minutes on my feed and you're like
- 26:19Speaker 2: those city commissioners as chairman to be like I don't.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Like go, yeah, you're out of here, go, deputy, please go. Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 3: like ten seconds into their pitch go, Yeah it was terrible. Well,
- 26:29Speaker 3: I sent you one yesterday. I don't know if you
- 26:30Speaker 3: saw that one.
- 26:31Speaker 8: Now, a smaller project was already approved on the land
- 26:34Speaker 8: near Lyon Country Safari back in twenty sixteen, but it
- 26:38Speaker 8: was about half the size of the one that was rejected.
- 26:42Speaker 8: There could be a smaller data center constructed there.
- 26:45Speaker 3: Or just warehouses.
- 26:46Speaker 8: Developers could also weigh out a planned moratorium and reapply
- 26:50Speaker 8: for a revamped project Tango.
- 26:52Speaker 2: We never voted on data centers. Yeah, yeah, no, no
- 26:56Speaker 2: one wants them, and they were going to happen anyways. Yeah,
- 26:58Speaker 2: there's a moratorium in New York now. I mean it's
- 27:01Speaker 2: a big time feedback because now they like the one
- 27:04Speaker 2: in New York that it happened. I remember hearing the
- 27:06Speaker 2: audio of one because somebody's like, well the noise, and
- 27:09Speaker 2: then once somebody pipes up and goes, well, what about
- 27:11Speaker 2: this noise? Somebody kind of defending it, and the person
- 27:13Speaker 2: goes funny, you should ask and pulls up their cell phone.
- 27:15Speaker 2: They brought receipts and it's a one hurts hum and
- 27:19Speaker 2: they say the problem is with one twenty, which is
- 27:21Speaker 2: a B flat, right, that that actually is doable. The
- 27:25Speaker 2: problem is there's another hum that's created by the water
- 27:27Speaker 2: cooling system that goes at a much lower rate, and
- 27:31Speaker 2: that sound can actually go around objects and continue going.
- 27:34Speaker 3: And disrupt your sleep.
- 27:35Speaker 2: And it's more, it penetrates more through the air because
- 27:39Speaker 2: the wave is longer or shorter, I can't remember.
- 27:41Speaker 4: So Governor Hokell in New York during the moratorium and
- 27:44Speaker 4: she says, I'm putting it on the data centers to
- 27:46Speaker 4: solve the problem of their power usage, water risage and
- 27:49Speaker 4: noise that you know, then come back to us with
- 27:52Speaker 4: this a little short yeah, all right.
- 27:54Speaker 8: While it might not be the final between Raining World
- 27:57Speaker 8: Cup champs Argentina and Raining European Champion in Spain, Miami
- 28:01Speaker 8: Host Committee chair Rodney Barretto says Miami Stadium is playing
- 28:04Speaker 8: host to tomorrow's bronze final between France and England, and
- 28:08Speaker 8: he's pretty happy.
- 28:09Speaker 3: About it.
- 28:09Speaker 2: We're so fortunate. We've had great matches, but the bronze
- 28:12Speaker 2: Finmal was going to be one for the books for sure.
- 28:15Speaker 8: Organizers say the game at Miami Stadium caps off South
- 28:18Speaker 8: Florida's seven game World Cup run, gives fans a showdown
- 28:22Speaker 8: between two of the world's top ranked teams. Right, you're
- 28:25Speaker 8: not seeing scrubs. Officials say more than six hundred thousand
- 28:29Speaker 8: people attended the FIFA Fan Festival in downtown Miami during
- 28:33Speaker 8: the tournament, and watch parties are planned throughout the weekend.
- 28:36Speaker 4: Bape for France is also shooting for the Golden Boot.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, wow, he wants a score while Messi in
- 28:43Speaker 4: the title match will try and counter.
- 28:45Speaker 2: And doesn't this have that weird thing ross where there
- 28:47Speaker 2: was a photograph taken because somebody won a contest or
- 28:50Speaker 2: something and they had their baby and their baby is
- 28:53Speaker 2: like getting a bath from Messi. Oh yeah, I know,
- 28:56Speaker 2: I know all that, Zach. Do you know the story, Deborah? No, Like,
- 28:59Speaker 2: so there's a bam picture of Messi like getting a
- 29:01Speaker 2: kid a bath, and I guess it was like some
- 29:03Speaker 2: kind of contest, all right, So check this out. It
- 29:05Speaker 2: was a raffle way back in the day when Messi
- 29:07Speaker 2: was like twenty years old. Right from UNISEEF. A family
- 29:10Speaker 2: won the raffle to take photos with Barcelona players. Their
- 29:14Speaker 2: baby got selected and they chose a random Barcelona player.
- 29:17Speaker 2: It was Messi that baby lamin Ya Mal who faces
- 29:21Speaker 2: off against Messi and the player for a World Cup final. No, yes,
- 29:28Speaker 2: that is like it's looked at as like the craziest
- 29:31Speaker 2: quinka dink in sports by Spain wins. He actually give
- 29:35Speaker 2: him a bath on the pitch.
- 29:37Speaker 8: The only way it should end, the only way it
- 29:39Speaker 8: should end, all right, Speaking of ending, Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey
- 29:44Speaker 8: no is releasing a limited run of high top sneakers
- 29:49Speaker 8: designed with hidden compartments in the tongues to huld the
- 29:53Speaker 8: brand's new portable flask pouches.

- 29:59Speaker 8: Yeah, feature flame detailing and zippered tongue pocket size for

- 30:24Speaker 8: are going to be randomly selected and invited to complete
- 30:27Speaker 8: the purchase?
- 30:27Speaker 2: One hundred, now five hundred, six hundred and sixty.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Six, How about just fifty?
- 30:35Speaker 8: Oh, really, fifty people will be randomly selected and invited
- 30:39Speaker 8: to complete the purchase. By the way, you have far

- 30:48Speaker 2: By the way, deb if you ever want to know
- 30:50Speaker 2: when the party boys are on the golf course, go

- 31:42Speaker 2: I would not we too good, not fireball whiskey. It
- 31:45Speaker 2: would be a different whiskey. I'm not in a rock
- 31:46Speaker 2: like a different type of whiskey shoe, but fireball whiskey shoes. Man,
- 31:49Speaker 2: you might you know what they.
- 31:50Speaker 3: Usually call those crocs. That's kind of the same message.
- 31:55Speaker 3: And either way that concludes your jcs.

- 32:26Speaker 14: the day we raise Beard National Tattoo Day.
- 32:30Speaker 9: Fun story.
- 32:31Speaker 15: My first tattoo was a hard Graham, the symbol for
- 32:36Speaker 15: Lake band Mark Jerre and the band him.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Check on my leg what it was done by a
- 32:41Speaker 2: murderer in jail.
- 32:42Speaker 6: I'm a good show, y'all.
- 32:44Speaker 16: All right, Hey, how's it o'hona for ass for super
- 32:49Speaker 16: stowed for you? And yeah, I mean, even though I
- 32:52Speaker 16: don't want to see England win on American soil, it
- 32:56Speaker 16: was discouraging just listening to Tootle's postmatch interviews, all his
- 33:00Speaker 16: anks and discuss with the play from the team dissatisfaction.
- 33:05Speaker 10: You know, you can't go on the defense with a
- 33:07Speaker 10: one to zero lead like that.
- 33:09Speaker 16: And maybe that guy can get a job in mass
- 33:11Speaker 16: transit when he gets back, because he should knows how
- 33:13Speaker 16: to park a bus aloa hockey.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Hello, yo, Ross.
- 33:19Speaker 17: I was at the Argentina versus Egypt game, and yeah,
- 33:22Speaker 17: those Argentinian fans are absolutely wild. When they scored that
- 33:25Speaker 17: second goal. I was low key rooting for Egypt, and
- 33:29Speaker 17: when they scored that second goal, they hit mine in
- 33:32Speaker 17: my friend's head, threw our hats off our friend next
- 33:36Speaker 17: to us. She was wearing her hair in a bun.
- 33:38Speaker 17: They pulled her hair in her bun and they started
- 33:41Speaker 17: spilling drinks.
- 33:42Speaker 2: All over us.
- 33:43Speaker 17: No what, It was absolutely wild and I want them
- 33:45Speaker 17: to lose the finals because of them.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Wow, that's obnoxious, and Ross was there cheering up. I
- 33:52Speaker 2: am your four o'clock, he orders checked c agck, go
- 33:56Speaker 2: to real radio out of him and send that away
- 33:57Speaker 2: for your chance at a thousand bucks check? Is your
- 34:00Speaker 2: four o'clock? You were guys? Good luck? I'm Jim. There's
- 34:02Speaker 2: death hello and Ross. It's true, Argentina fans go harder
- 34:08Speaker 2: than any group of people I've ever seen.
- 34:10Speaker 8: I was just reminded from tea bags called we've never
- 34:15Speaker 8: discussed the tiny footprints that you were supposed to be
- 34:18Speaker 8: getting tattooed.
- 34:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, I haven't gotten those yet. When are
- 34:21Speaker 2: you gonna get that at little hood rat neck? You
- 34:24Speaker 2: know what, that's a really good point. I have yet
- 34:26Speaker 2: to even think about that. I'm too busy exerberting my son,
- 34:29Speaker 2: my grandson, well, you know, on his forehead and then
- 34:32Speaker 2: a little crook of his neck, the cute little moon.
- 34:34Speaker 8: If that were the only one. But I mean, I'm
- 34:36Speaker 8: sure you're going to have other grandchildren. So are you
- 34:39Speaker 8: going to have an army of little feet marching across
- 34:41Speaker 8: your bible?
- 34:41Speaker 2: Only if I can get a murder to do the tattoo.
- 34:45Speaker 8: That would make you a very interesting uh watch on
- 34:48Speaker 8: the beaches of Florida. Dude, look at that guy who's
- 34:50Speaker 8: got little footprints.
- 34:51Speaker 2: All yeah, I mean, will be good ross. Obviously, we've
- 34:55Speaker 2: talked about the cost of these tickets at nauseum. At
- 34:58Speaker 2: the time of the game that you were at, it was, yeah,
- 35:02Speaker 2: my tickets shot up to like eight grand, Yeah, eighty
- 35:05Speaker 2: seven and fifty dollars to for some of those people
- 35:08Speaker 2: were paying that. I think eighty two was the mean cost.
- 35:14Speaker 2: And of course, now that the game is set and
- 35:16Speaker 2: the final World Cup match will be Sunday, Yes, yeah, Sunday,
- 35:20Speaker 2: have you looked to see how much your ticket would
- 35:22Speaker 2: be worth now? No, I am. I don't know what
- 35:25Speaker 2: the tickets are going for the final. I would assume
- 35:27Speaker 2: it's got to be five figures. Though, let me say
- 35:32Speaker 2: here real quick, make sure we get this completely right.
- 35:35Speaker 2: As of right now, twenty twenty six World Cup Final
- 35:39Speaker 2: Spain versus Argentina is the most expensive retail ticket in
- 35:44Speaker 2: sports history.
- 35:46Speaker 10: Wow.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Number two is the Super Bowl. That Super Bowl
- 35:50Speaker 2: twenty are fifty eight, which is the Chief versus the Niners.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Those tickets are going for ninety four hundred dollars Super
- 35:56Speaker 2: Bowl and twenty twenty one, which is the Bucks versus
- 35:58Speaker 2: the Chiefs, those are seventy three three hundred dollars, twenty
- 36:01Speaker 2: twenty Chiefs versus the Niners again sixty five hundred dollars,
- 36:05Speaker 2: and in twenty twenty six the NBA Finals Game three
- 36:09Speaker 2: Nick Spurs, those tickets were going for sixty three hundred
- 36:12Speaker 2: a piece. Right for the twenty twenty six World Cup
- 36:16Speaker 2: Finals Spain versus Argentina, the average price of a ticket
- 36:20Speaker 2: to get in is eleven three hundred twenty seven dollars,
- 36:23Speaker 2: So it kind of also breaks the record and blows
- 36:26Speaker 2: right by it. Yeah, yeah, I mean by two thousand bucks.
- 36:29Speaker 2: And percentage wise though, like that's that's shattering a record. Yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 2: to by a couple of bucks. That is a that
- 36:35Speaker 2: is a well. It's funny though, because when you look
- 36:37Speaker 2: at the other ones, they're all separated by about one
- 36:40Speaker 2: thousand dollars. The number two game, which would be the
- 36:43Speaker 2: Chiefs Arches of the Niners in twenty twenty four, that
- 36:46Speaker 2: one is about two thousand more than than third place.
- 36:50Speaker 2: But this one eclipses that, being two thousand more than
- 36:53Speaker 2: second place. I mean one of the most I already
- 36:55Speaker 2: told you on the opening segment, but one of the
- 36:58Speaker 2: most Jarring. Most memorable memories throughout this trip was getting
- 37:03Speaker 2: in line and just the being in line and feeling
- 37:05Speaker 2: the tension of like is everything going to be good?
- 37:08Speaker 2: Are we going to get in? And seeing that guy
- 37:11Speaker 2: cut in line Jim oh, and then seeing this like
- 37:14Speaker 2: forty year old Argentinian dude like basically start cruying. Oh
- 37:18Speaker 2: really he was like begging. You don't understand, you don't understand.
- 37:21Speaker 2: I need this, I need it. It was I've never
- 37:24Speaker 2: seen an adult act like that over sports only hard drugs.
- 37:28Speaker 2: They're usually on rock bottom. Is that our question today?
- 37:32Speaker 2: Do we put that up?
- 37:33Speaker 5: We do?
- 37:33Speaker 4: We have it worded in our YouTube chat. You go
- 37:35Speaker 4: to real Radio dot FM slash watch a YouTube right
- 37:38Speaker 4: there and the question is how much would you pay
- 37:41Speaker 4: for a bucket list sporting or music event. I went
- 37:44Speaker 4: for a bucket list because in case you don't care
- 37:47Speaker 4: about sports, Yeah, sure, the grouping is thousand dollars max
- 37:51Speaker 4: between one and two thousand, between two and five or more.
- 37:56Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, that's perfect. And I mean that could be
- 37:58Speaker 2: your favorite band doing their life as tour. That could
- 38:00Speaker 2: be anything you wanted to be. It really could. So
- 38:04Speaker 2: that's that's one want to shoot for. Real quick.
- 38:06Speaker 4: By the way, real quick, Fayez is not feeling well today.
- 38:10Speaker 4: That's why no primetime kitchen. But also sink or sell.
- 38:13Speaker 4: The results are in your votes and according to you,
- 38:16Speaker 4: since you all do whatever Jim tells you to do,
- 38:20Speaker 4: it's sank Harvest Moon by Neil Young. Sank yeah good good, Yeah.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Well the textan serfskind of reflected that it sucked too.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Yeah. You don't take that person, No, you should say
- 38:31Speaker 2: the song sucked.
- 38:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:32Speaker 2: I don't think that. I don't think the song's all
- 38:33Speaker 2: that good. That's not the point of the big I
- 38:36Speaker 2: understand that. But I'm just and that's I'm just adding
- 38:38Speaker 2: that on. That's extra value. Guess right, I didn't even
- 38:42Speaker 2: pick this song. It was a request. I got no
- 38:44Speaker 2: connect You.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Should have no connection to that. This is a dumble
- 38:47Speaker 4: O'Neil song. Neil Young song, Neil Young. It's probably the
- 38:52Speaker 4: song I like by him the most.
- 38:53Speaker 2: I gotta I got a question because we do have
- 38:56Speaker 2: the most uh, we have the smartest audience in all
- 38:59Speaker 2: of radio by a million. I do believe that right
- 39:02Speaker 2: as a handful outliers and they text right exactly, they Jackson,
- 39:06Speaker 2: you heard the murderer tattoo thing. Right. Yeah. I didn't
- 39:10Speaker 2: say not kill or I just said smartest. So there
- 39:13Speaker 2: was a guy who was on the run from the
- 39:15Speaker 2: FEDS for twenty years. He was a former doctor. I
- 39:19Speaker 2: believe he sexually assaulted some people way back, right, and
- 39:25Speaker 2: then he left, he took off, he ran, and he's
- 39:28Speaker 2: been on the run for twenty years. And they call
- 39:31Speaker 2: him the yacht Master. And the reason they call him
- 39:34Speaker 2: the yacht Master is pretty self explanatory. He was a
- 39:37Speaker 2: master sailor. He knew you know, he spent a lot
- 39:40Speaker 2: of time traveling the world, so he is connected and
- 39:43Speaker 2: knows where to go and everything and how to kind of,
- 39:46Speaker 2: you know, keep away from people. Well, they got a
- 39:48Speaker 2: tip that he was off of the shore of New Jersey,
- 39:52Speaker 2: like out there on a fifty six foot yacht that
- 39:57Speaker 2: he was captaining. And they got a tip that he
- 39:59Speaker 2: was out there, and sure enough, coastguard, I guess, goes
- 40:02Speaker 2: out there, and sure enough, there he is. After twenty years,
- 40:06Speaker 2: he's on this big boat, fifty six footer. That's a
- 40:09Speaker 2: pretty good sized boat, right, oh yeah, right. They they
- 40:12Speaker 2: board the boat and they take him into custody without
- 40:16Speaker 2: any issues, right, no incidents whatsoever. He cut hands behind
- 40:20Speaker 2: the back. Load him up out of here, right, no problem.
- 40:23Speaker 2: What happens to that boat? They arrested him an hour
- 40:28Speaker 2: off shore, he's an hour out to see Now again,
- 40:31Speaker 2: I don't know they'll tow it in? Is that what
- 40:34Speaker 2: they do? Yeah? Yeah, because I don't when you go
- 40:36Speaker 2: out there with the coast guard, like, I didn't know
- 40:37Speaker 2: if they did that, Like I was gonna say, I mean,
- 40:40Speaker 2: obviously I don't think they set it adrift now, but
- 40:42Speaker 2: I didn't know if they just anchored it or what.
- 40:44Speaker 7: I know.
- 40:44Speaker 2: That sounds dumb, but we But here's the thing. The
- 40:47Speaker 2: reason I asked the question is, is like when you
- 40:49Speaker 2: get pulled over and something happens with your car and
- 40:51Speaker 2: they take you into custody, your car stays right there.
- 40:53Speaker 2: You don't get to pulled around the corner or do it,
- 40:55Speaker 2: or you don't get to take it anywhere. It would
- 40:58Speaker 2: wind up getting towed.
- 40:59Speaker 8: Which is why what happened with those two principles allowing
- 41:02Speaker 8: her to park.
- 41:03Speaker 3: It was so egregious that that was you know, and.
- 41:06Speaker 2: I guess they'll tow it and they'll charge me that.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Do you guess how expensive boat towing is? By the chance,
- 41:12Speaker 2: and I don't know if they can have a member
- 41:14Speaker 2: of the coast guard like drive it in. That's the
- 41:17Speaker 2: other thing I did. That's the other question I was
- 41:19Speaker 2: going to ask, Okay, is a toe scenario, which by
- 41:22Speaker 2: the way, is expensive and kind of dangerous, or do
- 41:25Speaker 2: they take somebody with them that is also like a
- 41:28Speaker 2: master yachtsman and that person navigates the boat back to
- 41:32Speaker 2: shore and then of course it would be put into
- 41:35Speaker 2: uh yeah, non quarantine compound whatever.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Yeah, the compound interest here's I think it might they'll
- 41:48Speaker 4: tow it before they'll have someone drive it.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Just I don't know. If it's a liability thing, it
- 41:53Speaker 2: can also have liability issues. Yeah, But I mean I
- 41:55Speaker 2: don't think they would be responsible for that because I mean,
- 41:57Speaker 2: he's the one breaking the law. He made them. What
- 42:00Speaker 2: you get that anything that happens to the boat while
- 42:01Speaker 2: apprehending him, I believe is just kind of you got
- 42:04Speaker 2: to deal with it, Like if the boat got sunk
- 42:06Speaker 2: because they were trying to apprehend him. I don't think
- 42:08Speaker 2: he has a case there, Like I don't think he
- 42:10Speaker 2: has a case. But I mean, I think if they
- 42:11Speaker 2: have to tow the boat, they wind up charging him
- 42:13Speaker 2: for it. I mean it's thousands of dollars. I mean,
- 42:15Speaker 2: I knew, dude's just gotta get used to get stuck
- 42:17Speaker 2: on the river, and it would be you know, a
- 42:20Speaker 2: thousand bucks for you to come out and have the
- 42:22Speaker 2: towboat tow you back to a dock of some sort.
- 42:24Speaker 4: It goes to impound every time, so they get paid
- 42:27Speaker 4: to according it tech service.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't know anything about that, but I do
- 42:32Speaker 2: know that having this as a conversation really makes it
- 42:35Speaker 2: look like you're about to do something bad on a boat.
- 42:40Speaker 2: We were asking, like what happens? I just thought, you
- 42:42Speaker 2: get arrested on a boat. Let the case do with it.
- 42:44Speaker 2: The case was very interesting, and I just kind of thought.
- 42:46Speaker 2: I was like, well, what did they do with the
- 42:47Speaker 2: damn boat? You know, like why didn't This is like
- 42:50Speaker 2: the first time a bad guy got a really cool nickname. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 42:53Speaker 2: the yacht master. Yeah, dude, the yacht master. Don't give
- 42:55Speaker 2: that to a sexual assaulter. Yeah, do not do that. Right.
- 42:58Speaker 4: Text brings up a good poor It says about that
- 43:01Speaker 4: size would probably have a full crew, which would include
- 43:03Speaker 4: a first mate, so someone else might be qualified to Oh.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, but drive it back I guess you're
- 43:09Speaker 2: absolutely right. Fifty six Well, I don't know. Fifty six
- 43:12Speaker 2: foot yeah, probably if it's a if it's a standard sailboat,
- 43:16Speaker 2: I would think it probably would have to have a
- 43:17Speaker 2: couple of employees. You're right, interesting, all right? Four seven
- 43:21Speaker 2: nine one six one o four one. You can always
- 43:22Speaker 2: text us at seven seven zero three one. Read a
- 43:25Speaker 2: story about a woman today and she had a boyfriend,
- 43:27Speaker 2: and that boyfriend wanted to get married, but the woman said,
- 43:31Speaker 2: not until this happens.
- 43:39Speaker 10: Scard.
- 43:40Speaker 18: After morning, Colbert ruined, I'm here with Sharp, the non swillie,
- 43:45Speaker 18: and we actually on here down in Melbourne at the
- 43:47Speaker 18: Salty Fox, just having a good time, hanging on off
- 43:49Speaker 18: ride at playing some pool, having some drink. Hey, and Jimmy,
- 43:52Speaker 18: do you know why Waldo wears a striped shirt. I don't, Well, Jimmy,
- 43:57Speaker 18: she doesn't want to be spotted.
- 44:00Speaker 2: Oh man, oh my gosh. Not good.
- 44:05Speaker 7: Real radio listeners are talking, and what they're saying is
- 44:09Speaker 7: Jack Bradshaw's got the goods. Jack Bradshaw wears his name
- 44:14Speaker 7: with a well earned pride. Jim Colbert, Colbert, dirty Jim,
- 44:18Speaker 7: Jimmy Chipper. How many aliases does one man need? Just
- 44:23Speaker 7: what exactly is mystery man Colbert hiding. Anyway, Let's leave
- 44:27Speaker 7: catfish Colbert or whatever his real name is to his
- 44:30Speaker 7: high dollar manny petties and charcoony platters.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Jack Bradshaw's got the goods. So I didn't realize there.
- 44:40Speaker 4: But he has sent three more different versions of that,
- 44:43Speaker 4: and they're all campaign ad style for I don't know,
- 44:48Speaker 4: for you, Jack, Well, yeah, for you.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Jim and I are running for some office.
- 44:54Speaker 4: I guess we're not promising agains the agriculture commissioner.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you're four. If you were to check c hgc K,
- 45:01Speaker 2: go to real radio dot f him and send that
- 45:03Speaker 2: away for your chance at one thousand dollars. Check is
- 45:06Speaker 2: the word, guys, go get that money. I'm Jim. There's
- 45:08Speaker 2: deb Hello, check is here, and so is Sauce. It's true.
- 45:13Speaker 4: You gotta mention conservative for for Jim right in that
- 45:16Speaker 4: Wilton Simpson ad. I counted five times in that sixty
- 45:20Speaker 4: second ad, so no, six times. Then he said it
- 45:22Speaker 4: was a concern. Every ten seconds they remind you he's
- 45:24Speaker 4: a conservative.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Oh really, yeah? Is there a question of it?
- 45:28Speaker 3: No?
- 45:28Speaker 4: I think that's when they're advertising. That's the message there
- 45:32Speaker 4: to breakthrough to you.
- 45:33Speaker 2: I got you, guys.
- 45:34Speaker 4: If you hey, if you're a conservative, this is your guy,
- 45:37Speaker 4: and we're gonna tell you to remind you every ten seconds.
- 45:40Speaker 15: There.
- 45:40Speaker 2: You know who's running against him? Is that Matt the Welder,
- 45:42Speaker 2: Matt Taylor? That's it? Yeah, yeah, very good. Have you
- 45:46Speaker 2: ever seen any other stuff? Matt the Welder, Matt Matt Taylor?
- 45:49Speaker 2: I know you guys know, Yeah, it's so funny because
- 45:51Speaker 2: I was I went to reach out to the guy who.
- 45:53Speaker 2: Have you guys seen the guy who does the yoink
- 45:55Speaker 2: thing in the Everglades? Yeah, joint and he will pick
- 45:59Speaker 2: up of this ajoint. It'll be like some kind of
- 46:01Speaker 2: newt or yoink and his whole thing is he's looking
- 46:03Speaker 2: for pythons down there, but he doesn't while he's barefoot, right.
- 46:07Speaker 2: So I actually text Savannah from the Morning Show because
- 46:11Speaker 2: she knows a lot of the people in that world.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I said, hey, you know, do you know this yoink guy?
- 46:15Speaker 2: Can I get his Can I get his name? I mean,
- 46:18Speaker 2: you know, you know, get a hookup if you know him?
- 46:20Speaker 2: And she she didn't say why, but she said, you
- 46:23Speaker 2: don't want to talk to that guy. Here's who you
- 46:24Speaker 2: want to talk to. And she gave me some info
- 46:27Speaker 2: on Matt the Welder because of his environmental pro prowess
- 46:32Speaker 2: and how he looks out for the environmental health.
- 46:35Speaker 8: Of Florida, the wild spaces, the wild spaces that are
- 46:38Speaker 8: left in Florida. What's interesting is that because he'd become
- 46:41Speaker 8: known as matth the Welder, he had changed his name,
- 46:44Speaker 8: including his Social Security card to read Matt the Welder.
- 46:47Speaker 8: But then Florida lawmakers passed a law that says, if
- 46:50Speaker 8: you're going to run for office, you have to run
- 46:51Speaker 8: under the name you were given at birth.
- 46:54Speaker 3: So now he has to run. So now he has
- 46:56Speaker 3: to run as Matt Taylor. He cannot run as Matthew Welder.
- 46:59Speaker 2: I mean, if you watch stuff, he's pretty well put
- 47:01Speaker 2: together and now that Yeah, they are trying to do that.
- 47:03Speaker 2: But Savannah wanted me to talk to him instead of uh,
- 47:05Speaker 2: instead of the other guy.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Well, he's challenging Florida Ag Commissioner Wilton's Simpson.
- 47:11Speaker 2: They're both Republicans, so it's a primary challenge. Oh, it's interesting.
- 47:15Speaker 2: I didn't know that he was a Republican. Yeah, that's
- 47:17Speaker 2: very interesting. I mean, I'm gonna tell this out. I
- 47:19Speaker 2: don't think there's too many Matt the welders, you know,
- 47:23Speaker 2: drinking Machia in the morning either. I'm not gonna tell
- 47:27Speaker 2: you when you when you're the ad guy, having a
- 47:29Speaker 2: first name of Wilton is a pretty good fit, right, yeah,
- 47:32Speaker 2: I mean that fits if you're Wilton. I find it
- 47:36Speaker 2: funny that Matt the Welder did try to run underneath
- 47:38Speaker 2: the name Matt the Welder, and then the Florida was like, nah, man,
- 47:41Speaker 2: you can only go birth name, and he had to
- 47:43Speaker 2: probably be like, this is not a trans thing.
- 47:46Speaker 5: No, no, no, it was.
- 47:47Speaker 8: It was all about the ground roots support that he
- 47:50Speaker 8: was getting. So this was their way of tamping that
- 47:52Speaker 8: down and making it more difficult for him to have
- 47:54Speaker 8: the name recognition when you got into the ballot box.
- 47:57Speaker 8: It just shows he got under their skin, which I
- 47:59Speaker 8: think is awesome.
- 48:00Speaker 2: In his videos are great. I mean, they make a
- 48:01Speaker 2: lot of sense. I don't. I mean, I have never like, uh,
- 48:03Speaker 2: I've never like fact checked any of the stuff. But
- 48:06Speaker 2: I mean, you know, he's basically just kind of looking
- 48:07Speaker 2: out for the waterways and our drinking water in Florida
- 48:11Speaker 2: and making sure that the sprawl in the state doesn't
- 48:14Speaker 2: really affect us long term when it comes to what
- 48:17Speaker 2: we expect the state to be able to provide us
- 48:20Speaker 2: with natural resources.
- 48:21Speaker 12: You know.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I feel like politicians and politics right now,
- 48:26Speaker 2: I've grown into this weird paradox about it.
- 48:29Speaker 19: All.
- 48:30Speaker 2: This is because like, for you to get elected, for
- 48:32Speaker 2: you to win, you're going to have to say stuff
- 48:36Speaker 2: that you probably know you can't do. You have to
- 48:40Speaker 2: lie to win an election. Yeah, is that just Yeah, Yeah,
- 48:43Speaker 2: You're going to have to lie. You have to say
- 48:45Speaker 2: stuff that gets the people going while you know, dude,
- 48:48Speaker 2: there's no chance I'm gonna ever be able to get this.
- 48:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:51Speaker 2: Even the people you think are good guys or good
- 48:53Speaker 2: girls have had you know, uh, aberrations in their and
- 48:58Speaker 2: their past. I mean, it's nobody's in that business. It
- 49:00Speaker 2: is the dirtiest business in the world by a million.
- 49:03Speaker 4: Yeah, but the but also you have to make these
- 49:05Speaker 4: promises like I'm gonna there's a guy running he's the
- 49:09Speaker 4: ac guy running for you know, uh, the house. But
- 49:12Speaker 4: he's like, I'm gonna, yeah, I'm gonna lower gas prices,
- 49:17Speaker 4: you know, lower insurance rates.
- 49:18Speaker 2: And it's like really, yeah, yeah, good luck with that.
- 49:21Speaker 2: To watch a game like I don't even know how
- 49:25Speaker 2: much the engine even listens to the politicians we vote
- 49:29Speaker 2: in what do you There's been so many times since
- 49:33Speaker 2: I've been on this radio program where it's like, all right,
- 49:36Speaker 2: we're holding an election, we see the results of the election,
- 49:40Speaker 2: we will not act according to said election election just
- 49:46Speaker 2: for funsies, thanks for taking part in it. And then
- 49:48Speaker 2: all the politicians that ran on platforms are saying I'm
- 49:51Speaker 2: going to do this, do that, and then you go
- 49:54Speaker 2: ahead and vote, and it's like those politicians don't even
- 49:56Speaker 2: have a say in the data centers. Yeah, it's easy
- 49:59Speaker 2: to say that as a as a it's easy to
- 50:01Speaker 2: say that as a candidate because you're not in the
- 50:03Speaker 2: machine yet. The problem is is once you get in
- 50:05Speaker 2: the machine and you realize why no one else has
- 50:09Speaker 2: got anything else done, it's hard for you to look
- 50:11Speaker 2: back and go, oh, well, I thought I could do
- 50:13Speaker 2: this the whole time. And it's the problem is is
- 50:15Speaker 2: the machine doesn't fix easy.
- 50:17Speaker 4: I think underlying Ross's point and the thing that frustrates
- 50:21Speaker 4: me most is the intellectual dishonesty where they know they
- 50:27Speaker 4: can't do something, or they know they would be ineffective
- 50:30Speaker 4: doing something, but they're gonna say they're gonna do it
- 50:33Speaker 4: and promise they're gonna do that, because that's what that's.
- 50:35Speaker 2: What they're It's what moves the needle. That's what's what
- 50:39Speaker 2: you're gonna want to obtain more power off of. Just
- 50:43Speaker 2: like simple fabrication, manipulation in line and again, who would
- 50:47Speaker 2: want the job? Who would want that job? Who would
- 50:50Speaker 2: want a job in politics in this country? You know,
- 50:52Speaker 2: for one thing, as a competitive salary, who would want
- 50:55Speaker 2: the job? That's the thing I asked myself the most
- 50:58Speaker 2: about politicians in general, is you know who wants these jobs?
- 51:01Speaker 2: Why do you want a job to pay seventy five
- 51:02Speaker 2: grand a year when your education would allow you to
- 51:04Speaker 2: make one hundred and fifty in the private sector. Why?
- 51:07Speaker 2: I mean, some people go in there with the truest
- 51:09Speaker 2: of intents. They want to go in there and go, hey, look,
- 51:11Speaker 2: you know, I think I want to make a change.
- 51:13Speaker 2: I hate the way this looks from the outside. Ind
- 51:15Speaker 2: and then unfortunately, much like a lot of these good people,
- 51:17Speaker 2: they get sucked into this machine and they realize, oh man,
- 51:21Speaker 2: I'm in way deeper than I ever thought in a
- 51:22Speaker 2: million years I would be in. I can't do this
- 51:25Speaker 2: because this person says I can't do that, because that sponsor. Or,
- 51:28Speaker 2: that donor won't donate anymore if I do that. So
- 51:32Speaker 2: what I promise back there, I can't do anymore because
- 51:34Speaker 2: my buddy said, if you do that, they're going to
- 51:36Speaker 2: cut all the funding off for this part of the
- 51:37Speaker 2: world here for us, no more Republican dollars, no more
- 51:40Speaker 2: Democrat dollars, whatever the case may be. So once you
- 51:42Speaker 2: get in the machine and you realize that it's all
- 51:45Speaker 2: run by corporations and donations and money, you really aren't
- 51:48Speaker 2: going to do much governance. I don't think it's hard.
- 51:51Speaker 2: That's why you hear these guys on the hill all
- 51:52Speaker 2: the time talking about I've been working on this bill
- 51:54Speaker 2: for five years. It's got today working on the bill
- 51:56Speaker 2: for five years, and all it takes is one person
- 51:59Speaker 2: to vote it down or a veto from the President
- 52:01Speaker 2: or the governor.
- 52:02Speaker 19: You know.
- 52:02Speaker 2: I mean, it's a really weird process.
- 52:05Speaker 7: Man.
- 52:05Speaker 2: I could never do it in a million years. I
- 52:07Speaker 2: could never do it. But yeah, I can do it.
- 52:09Speaker 2: I mean, you said the you said, the engine, right,
- 52:11Speaker 2: is toxic. The machine, the machine, the machine is toxic.
- 52:14Speaker 2: But I also, like I look at it and go like, yeah, no, one,
- 52:17Speaker 2: we don't even get to vote on the machine. Yeah. No,
- 52:20Speaker 2: I like that the machine is the ghost. Yeah yeah,
- 52:23Speaker 2: like the ghost is the dollar that machine, mate. I
- 52:26Speaker 2: don't know. For the longest time, it's my naivetey of
- 52:30Speaker 2: being shattered as I get into my mid thirties of
- 52:32Speaker 2: thinking that like, oh, yeah, we do have a say.
- 52:36Speaker 2: You have a say. You have a say here, you
- 52:38Speaker 2: have a say for amendments and the person that you
- 52:40Speaker 2: put in office. After that person gets in office, you
- 52:42Speaker 2: do not have a say. You can just tell them, hey,
- 52:44Speaker 2: I won't vote for you anymore, or you can tell
- 52:47Speaker 2: them that that's that's pretty much the only you. You're
- 52:49Speaker 2: dealing with a you know, a pillow hammer at that point. Like,
- 52:51Speaker 2: I know, I think this has been on a disagreement
- 52:54Speaker 2: that we've always had in the past, is that, like
- 52:56Speaker 2: I know, it really pisses people off when people don't
- 52:59Speaker 2: vot vote, and you know what, I disagree with people
- 53:02Speaker 2: who do not vote. I think you should vote. With
- 53:04Speaker 2: that said, I will never be mad at somebody for
- 53:07Speaker 2: not voting. Yeah, that's a weird thing. And the reason
- 53:10Speaker 2: why I feel that way is is because the people
- 53:12Speaker 2: who are holding the elections jerrymandering are disrespecting our right
- 53:16Speaker 2: to vote way more than someone not taking part in
- 53:20Speaker 2: an election. I saw a list today. It says, these
- 53:22Speaker 2: are the twenty two things that ninety five percent of
- 53:25Speaker 2: Americans won. And it was just basically a bipartisan list
- 53:29Speaker 2: of once and needs. And I'm like that, right, there
- 53:31Speaker 2: should be every politician's checklist. And it was just the
- 53:35Speaker 2: stuff that you hear about all the time that always
- 53:37Speaker 2: gets litigated and never negotiated, over and over and over
- 53:40Speaker 2: and over and over. But I saw that on line
- 53:42Speaker 2: today and I wish I would have saved it because
- 53:44Speaker 2: it was it was It was really kind of exactly
- 53:47Speaker 2: on point. All right, four oh seven ninete six four
- 53:50Speaker 2: one texts seven seven zero three to one. So I
- 53:52Speaker 2: told you guys went to break. There's this woman and
- 53:54Speaker 2: she talks with this is a BBC story, by the way,
- 53:56Speaker 2: and she goes her boyfriend. They're in love. They're young,
- 54:00Speaker 2: probably in their in the late twenties, I believe, and
- 54:03Speaker 2: he's like, man, I really want to get married, and
- 54:05Speaker 2: she looks at him and she goes, I will marry you,
- 54:07Speaker 2: but you have to do this first. And I think
- 54:10Speaker 2: this is a really interesting idea. Do you have to
- 54:14Speaker 2: get rid of that tattoo. Well, that's a good guests. Yeah,
- 54:19Speaker 2: And I gotta tell you, I think everybody in this
- 54:21Speaker 2: room are in these rooms. I think most people would
- 54:24Speaker 2: agree with this concept. And it is a bit of
- 54:26Speaker 2: a novel concept. By the way plays back and forth.
- 54:28Speaker 2: A man could also make this determination or ask this
- 54:32Speaker 2: of someone that would want to get married. And I
- 54:34Speaker 2: think maybe you might see more of this lately. You
- 54:36Speaker 2: have to learn Spanish one more, Devora, what do.
- 54:38Speaker 8: You think that financial literacy takes some kind of like
- 54:41Speaker 8: a budgeting class.
- 54:42Speaker 2: You're the closest one. You have to be debt free.
- 54:45Speaker 2: She looked at her boyfriend and she said, I do
- 54:47Speaker 2: want to marry you. I love you dearly, but I
- 54:50Speaker 2: don't have any debt. I've been paying for my own rent,
- 54:52Speaker 2: my own house and everything. You've been living with your mom.
- 54:55Speaker 2: You've paid rent to your mom, and that's great, but
- 54:57Speaker 2: you have he has like a seven or eight thousand
- 54:59Speaker 2: dollars or something like that. She goes, we are not
- 55:02Speaker 2: going to get together. We're not joining our finances. And
- 55:05Speaker 2: by the way, she wants to do that. She wants
- 55:06Speaker 2: to go to the whole traditional marriage thing once they
- 55:08Speaker 2: get together, to combine their finances, have one account, they
- 55:11Speaker 2: deal with all their bills through. But she will not
- 55:14Speaker 2: do that as long as he brings debt into the relationship.
- 55:18Speaker 2: I couldn't love this more. Yeah, what a concept. Like
- 55:22Speaker 2: I've never heard anybody say that. It makes perfect sense,
- 55:24Speaker 2: Like right over, rip, I love this idea. I love it.
- 55:27Speaker 2: I'm obsessed with it. But have hard conversations, you know what.
- 55:30Speaker 2: This is communication that should be having, It should be happening.
- 55:34Speaker 2: It is a hard conversation, it is. Yeah, because I mean,
- 55:36Speaker 2: you could really, really really love somebody. Can I tell
- 55:39Speaker 2: you something my wife have. My wife said this to me,
- 55:42Speaker 2: I would not be her husband because I was absolutely
- 55:45Speaker 2: swamped in debt when we met. I'd just gotten through
- 55:48Speaker 2: a divorce, like a year and a half into it.
- 55:50Speaker 2: I had no money. I did have a house, but
- 55:53Speaker 2: I only got that from the skin of my teeth.
- 55:55Speaker 2: The furniture we had in the house was basically outdoor furniture.
- 55:58Speaker 2: I had to borrow television, He's gonna borrowed couch. Our
- 56:02Speaker 2: our dining room table was an outdoor like patio table.
- 56:05Speaker 2: So we had nothing. And uh, and she married me.
- 56:08Speaker 2: She probably shouldn't have just based on that, but yeah, man,
- 56:11Speaker 2: you know, asking telling somebody you got to be debt
- 56:13Speaker 2: free if you want to be with me. I mean
- 56:15Speaker 2: I probably shouldn't share this. I don't think he's listening
- 56:18Speaker 2: what is, but I'll still do it. I had a
- 56:20Speaker 2: friend who uh basically had a kid, had a kid,
- 56:25Speaker 2: looked at the baby mama, baby mama, was like, do
- 56:27Speaker 2: you want to get married? Because I do you need
- 56:30Speaker 2: to go to college? Oh? Really? He said you need
- 56:32Speaker 2: to graduate? And she did not. They did not get married.
- 56:37Speaker 2: No way. Wow, that's coming in hot. That's real hot. Yeah,
- 56:41Speaker 2: it's like shocking sociopathic tendencies. If you ask me, well,
- 56:46Speaker 2: why why college?
- 56:47Speaker 6: Uh?
- 56:47Speaker 2: Because they were It was really young they were. I
- 56:50Speaker 2: mean this was over a decade ago. Now this is
- 56:53Speaker 2: some twenty five. And he really really cared about his future,
- 56:57Speaker 2: his family's future. He wanted he wait, a college graduation
- 57:01Speaker 2: extremely high.
- 57:03Speaker 3: Yeah, then that's important to you.
- 57:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Yeah. And what they did here is, by the way,
- 57:07Speaker 2: the couple was named Sarah and Lee. Funny, I just
- 57:11Speaker 2: picked up on that. She said. What they did was
- 57:14Speaker 2: she said, yes, I will marry you. We're gonna set
- 57:17Speaker 2: a wedding date two years from now. And at the
- 57:20Speaker 2: end of this two years. If you're not debt free,
- 57:22Speaker 2: we will break this. We will break this date. We
- 57:24Speaker 2: will not get it to me. What it wrong there?
- 57:28Speaker 5: Yea?
- 57:29Speaker 2: Her whole idea was to set a timeline for him
- 57:33Speaker 2: so that he could do he could get the debt
- 57:35Speaker 2: taken care of in the timeline that they both agreed with.
- 57:38Speaker 4: I think, what about the debt that's going to be
- 57:40Speaker 4: incurred by planning a wedding within the next two years.
- 57:42Speaker 2: It will probably be a collective debt of it. I guess.
- 57:45Speaker 8: I think she already has her answer. She just doesn't
- 57:47Speaker 8: want to accept it, which is what well. I mean,
- 57:49Speaker 8: he is living at home, he's paying rent to his mom.
- 57:52Speaker 8: I'm sure that that can be a flexible arrangement. But
- 57:54Speaker 8: if he's saving that kind of money and still carrying
- 57:56Speaker 8: that kind of debt, you see what I'm saying.
- 58:00Speaker 2: By the way I do, he makes more money than her.
- 58:04Speaker 3: Okay, there's an even bigger issue.
- 58:06Speaker 2: He makes more more money than she does. So when
- 58:08Speaker 2: they get together, I mean, they're gonna be fine, and
- 58:10Speaker 2: they're gonna make plenty of money. But the problem is
- 58:12Speaker 2: he has this car Loan debt and she simply does
- 58:14Speaker 2: not want and you know it's wild. I wonder if
- 58:16Speaker 2: she feels like she shouldn't have to pay for his car.
- 58:18Speaker 2: I don't think it's the car loan debt.
- 58:20Speaker 8: I think it shows a propensity to not take those
- 58:23Speaker 8: responsibilities as seriously as he should. Again, he's living at home,
- 58:27Speaker 8: he makes more money than she does, and he's still
- 58:29Speaker 8: carrying his seven or eight thousand dollars debt.
- 58:31Speaker 3: So what are you doing with all that money he's saving?
- 58:33Speaker 3: Why are you living at home?
- 58:35Speaker 4: It's not that much more, by the way, a car
- 58:37Speaker 4: loan debt is not It should not be a deal breaker,
- 58:40Speaker 4: right because I don't think so. Well, most people driving
- 58:43Speaker 4: a car out there have a you know, some type
- 58:46Speaker 4: of debt on me. I think to Deb's point, I
- 58:50Speaker 4: think it shows that there's a bigger issue here.
- 58:54Speaker 8: Not taking the financial responsibility as seriously. And like you said,
- 58:57Speaker 8: it's only going to get more expensive from now because
- 59:00Speaker 8: it's versus the wedding. Then it's going to be your children,
- 59:03Speaker 8: Then it's your children's education. So the expenses aren't going
- 59:06Speaker 8: to get smaller, they're going to get greater. And if
- 59:08Speaker 8: he's shown that he can make more money, still carry
- 59:11Speaker 8: debt and live at home, yeah, I would be worried
- 59:14Speaker 8: about tying my finances to that person in the traditional sense.
- 59:18Speaker 2: And by the way, she they're still together. They've been
- 59:20Speaker 2: together twenty plus years. They now have two grown teenage
- 59:23Speaker 2: daughters as well. But the funny thing is is he
- 59:25Speaker 2: agreed with her, like he basically said, I'm terrible with money.
- 59:29Speaker 2: I can't wait for you to manage our cash. Good
- 59:31Speaker 2: for him, and he kind of he stuck those guns,
- 59:33Speaker 2: he goes, I completely agree with that, so he buckled down,
- 59:35Speaker 2: paid off the car. They got married. Now their accounts
- 59:39Speaker 2: are combined and she manages their money for them, and
- 59:42Speaker 2: he has no problem with that because he says to himself,
- 59:44Speaker 2: that's not my strong point. So it actually worked out
- 59:47Speaker 2: quite well for him.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I thought they were young kids.
- 59:49Speaker 2: Not no, no, no, they were, but this is a
- 59:51Speaker 2: story down the road. Oh okay, this is them now.
- 59:53Speaker 2: But she was telling me the story when they got
- 59:55Speaker 2: together that she wanted him debt free before they got married. Which, yeah,
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: the car loan is weird because I don't that's like not, well,
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: what kind of lord would have to be not a
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: long weird for it to be weird?
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: Is that?
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Like card debt? Credit card debt, credit card debt, credit
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: card debt is right on the nuts, she said, because
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: that shows no control and you're making more money, you're
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: And then also the biggest red flag is they're still
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: living with my Is that really a red flag anymore?
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Huge red flag? When do you make more money than
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: she does and you're still it? Just again, Okay, so
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: I didn't say how much they made. They don't make
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: a whole bunch of money. He just happens to make
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: a couple thousand more than she does. They both make
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: kind of very the same, basic mediocre salary type things.
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: I mean, he's modest, he's a maintenance man, and she
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: is a I want to say she was a teacher's
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: assistant or something like that. So they both make about
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: the same, which is plenty for them to live. They
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: have a nice life. But what she was saying is
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: she just didn't want to get off on that foot
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: where they they that there was a debt inconsistency in
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: the relationship, Like can you understand that though?
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: But again, let's just say you and I were getting together, right.
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: That wasn't even me.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: I don't know who that was. Say you and I
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: are getting together? Why lower. I don't know, Rosh, I'm
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: gonna take our screens out of YouTube.
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: No, no, you are not.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: And you really want me, you really want to be
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: with me.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: God, I don't say that word to go away.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, no, you want to But and you're
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: doing great and I'm also doing great. But I'm bringing in,
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: like you know, twenty or thirty thousand dollars in debt.
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: It's yeah, you don't want to pay that bill. You
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: don't want to pay that that's not fair to you.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: We get married and all of a sudden, you're where
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: you know, our money is combined, and now we're writing
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: my check out of our money. I don't know about that.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: I'm so happy you answered it for me.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, we're done now, Thanks Jack.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: You guys can come back now.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll do it again later.
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: I didn't take guys, and I was like less than
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: twenty seconds.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Now, dev if you get that part of the package
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: as well. But if you want to talk to Hr
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: about that, he's right here. Jack. Take it away like
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: Jack picture record right, seven seven zero three, Jack, I
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: appreciate they got a thrift for that, And so you
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: know what you don't think living with ma or dad
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: is a red flag. I think there are. I think
- 1:02:29Speaker 2: that show's a smart financial choice. I'll give you an example.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: My son started dating a girl and they are in
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: their mid to late twenties, and they both lived at
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: home with their parents because they hadn't. He's still in
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: school and she was as well, going to middle school,
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: medical school. So I don't think that's really even a
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: thing anymore. I think ten years ago or something, yeah,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: it may have considered that. I don't think. I don't
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: think living with your parents at mid twenties now is
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: one of those things that's a giant red flag anymore.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: Going to school living with mom and dad is completely
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: different than not going to school and living with mom. Yeah,
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: this guy was living with mommy just clubbing. Yes, all right,
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: back in a second with Whiskey of the Week.
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: Guys.
- 1:03:10Speaker 20: I just heard the the collar that was given the
- 1:03:13Speaker 20: campaign style ad and it reminded me way back in
- 1:03:16Speaker 20: the day, there was some monster truck event and someone
- 1:03:19Speaker 20: made a promo and it was dirty Jim.
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: I don't remember the whole thing.
- 1:03:25Speaker 20: But that was that was glorious anyway, just to blast
- 1:03:29Speaker 20: from the past, take care of everyone, Thank you, Friday,
- 1:03:32Speaker 20: have a wonderful weekend.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: You do well.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: Real radio fans have a choice before then this November
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: and Jack Bradshaw's got the goods. Jack Bradshaw has a full,
- 1:03:41Speaker 7: luscious mane of hair. Jim Colbert has been struck in
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: ahead with freshly chopped pool cues by confused failures enthusiasts
- 1:03:50Speaker 7: again and again. Balls can't suffer from CTE, but Jim
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: Colbert sure cam oh dear Jim Colbert is a bald
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: and possibly brain damaged prop aghandas Jack Bradshaw's got the goods, he.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: Never says what the goods are. No, no, I can
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: doesn't know what the goods are. That's just a little
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: shaky for me. I have a feel transparent. I don't
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: think it's policy. Ye yeah, I got the hair. We man.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: It's a populous world, so heavy your hair will warn Jack.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Welcome back on, Jim. They're dead hell ah popular. Jack's
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: here Yeah, and so is Ross as well. Let's do
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: Whiskey of the Week.
- 1:04:28Speaker 10: Forward Slash Distillery and Blending House present.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: Worster of the.
- 1:04:35Speaker 10: On the Jim Colbert Show.
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: Very nice, big thanks to our friends over at Ford
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Slash right there in winter park Man an unbelievable like
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: tasting room slash, distillery slash, just cool chill spot. I mean,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: it is really an awesome new addition to the bar
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: scene and business scene in winter Park. We love these guys,
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: you will as well. We started Whiskey of the Week
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: last week and what we do is we feature one
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: of the whiskeys they have right there at Ford Slash
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: and we give it a little try on the air,
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: tell you what we think about it, and so you
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: know about what we're tasting today. This is Vanguard Bourbon.
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: This is their very first semi wheated bourbon blend. They
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: released this in September of twenty twenty four. And wheted
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: bourbons are bourbon whiskies that use wheat as the secondary
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: grain instead of traditional rye. This gives you a sweeter
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: and softer bourbon whiskey experience. It is one hundred proof,
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: which means it is pretty darn strong. And this was
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: popularized in the fifties and expanded to many beloved bourbon
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: brands around the world today. Some of these names that
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: we have here you would know their first name. Bases
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: bourbons that have been around for years and have the
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: best reputations in all of the world of whiskey. Let's
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: give it a taste and see what you guys think. Oh,
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: deb you wanta smell this twist mile I can from
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: right here put a little ice in mind because the
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: head did you drop an ice in?
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: I said that one hundred proof is just yeah, it's
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: it's strong. I need to point out one thing about
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Forward Slash. You said Winter Park is lucky. Anywhere this
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: side of the Mississippi is lucky. And the reason why
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: it's a blending house. I don't think there's virtually any
- 1:06:15Speaker 2: other blending houses in Florida that I'm aware of. Yeah,
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: it's so much more than a distillery. You're talking about
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: basically a lab for whiskey. Yeah, and they really they
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: give us. This is a blend of six to eight
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: year old bourbons with an emphasis on high contents of
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: wheat and malted barley. They're only ten thousand, or excuse me,
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: only one thousand and seventy bottles have been produced, so
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: it's a really low stock. Once it's gone, it's gone.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: And this is part of their artisan series, And you're right.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: This is a blend of four different whiskeys from author
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: us from ages twenty sixteen all the way up to
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: twenty eighteen. And what that is like, Like I said,
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: it's a lab. They're grabbing the best whiskies. They are
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: blending it. And if you're like me, I think blended
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: whiskey is the best whiskey. I think it has the
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: biggest spectrum of flavors, the range that blended whiskey and
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: what they're doing and blending houses all around the world
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: is the most unique way to consume whiskey, if you
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: were to ask me, we are very lucky that forward
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: slash it's not just part of the program, but literally
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: existing in Florida. The nose on this is so nice,
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: I mean it really is nice. That's a warm, a
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: little spicy there.
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: So a lot of bourbon will have that vanilla and
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: orange thing going, or like like a little bit of
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: a toasted marshmallow thing. This does not have that at
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: all to me. How about you, guys? You think the
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: wheat kind of hampers that down? Is there anything? I
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: would be really surprised if there wasn't any type of
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: like wine barrel or some sort of like left and
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: wine casks or something, because that's what I'm picking up
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: on Yeah. I don't know, man, but I just know this.
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: It doesn't have as much lasting uh uh power on
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: the back of the palette like the one we had
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: last week, but it is a little on the front
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: of your tongue though. You get a lot of that
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: sweet weeded flavor right up front, and then it gets
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: into your sinuses and then it's gone, which means you
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: have to drink more, which suck. It made my lips
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: umb Oh that was my fault.
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: Uh.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: And by the way, if you do have any questions
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: next week, the guys from Forward Slash will.
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Be in studio for Whiskey of the Week. I have
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: a ton of questions. Yeah, yeah, yeah, mean as well.
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: One of the coolest things that happened to me when
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: I was at Forward Slash during the bourbon bus, I
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: asked the head mixer, the guy who is you know,
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: the head of Forward Slash blender the blender, I go,
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: what do you know about compass box and he goes,
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: stop right there, I love you. Oh yeah, really compass
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: box is well, coumbass boxes one of what got me
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: into whiskey. Yeah, and then combass box is what inspired
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Forward Slash. The head. People at Forward Slash are in
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: direct contact with Compass Box and John Glazner I believe
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: his name, and he's looked at as like the mad
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: scientist of whiskey on the planet, and Forward Slash is
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: like right there with them. This is unreal that this
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: is even a c I'm so happy that this is happening.
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: This is Vanguard Bourbon again. They only made one thousand
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: and seventy bottles, really low stock. Once it's gone, it's gone.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: If you'd like to get a bottle or try it,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: just visit our friends over at Forward Slash. I think
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: on Instagram it's at Drink Forward Slash, and I think
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: online this drink forward slash dot com. That's correct, and
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: we will have another whiskey for you next week. But
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: if you want to go to and try this one,
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: it's Vanguard Bourbon. It is their semiweeded bourbon and it
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: is ready for you to go grab. Thanks guys, appreciate that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Back in a second with more than Jim Cover showed
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: a fresh keyword. Hey, guess hope it guests to do well. Oh.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: I like this idea of China footprints like a tattooed
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: all over Jimmy, just make sure that you put the
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: necklace on there, saying Lorrick Gerts. Thanks by lower Girds.
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: Welcome back to the Jim Culver Show. Real Radio one
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: oh four point one. Your five o'clock keyword is new New.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Go to Real Radio dot FM and send that away
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: for your chance in one thousand months.
- 1:10:24Speaker 15: New.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: That is your new word. Go get that money. Guys
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: it I'm Jim, deb Jack and Ross are here as well. Deb,
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: you had a story in the news today that I
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: did want to talk about.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: Yeah, and this is the.
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: This electric taxi that's gonna run from Kassimi to Tampa.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: That's the one you were talking.
- 1:10:46Speaker 3: About earlier, right the Verda Port.
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: Yeah, moving closer to launching electric air taxi service, with
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: the Orlando to Tampa flights projected to take about thirty minutes.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Oh lord, didn't think this is gonna work until I
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: heard that. Yeah. Gateway Airport unveiled a fast charging station
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: and new traffic air management technology for the electric craft.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Leaders say the project could improve transportation while creating jobs
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: and boosting the regional economy. It says, get around Central
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Florida in a different way in the future. To look
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: man I have said two years ago, I'd be like,
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: there's no way this is coming to fruition. There's too
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: many working parts here. It's too unsafe. You never know,
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: you know where anybody's gonna be at any given time.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: We can't keep airplanes safe a lot of times these days. Yeah,
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: but they're doing it, and I have to tell you,
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: I find it kind of interesting. Hell yeah, dude, imagine
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: going down I four going to Tampa and you just
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: see like a something that sounds like a voovuzela. Yeah,
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: one hundred feet above you. That's gonna be weird. It
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: doesn't even one thing it doesn't say. It doesn't talk
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: about the cost of that's. It says, we'll go from
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: Orlando to Tampa within thirty minutes. They did two eighty miles.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: Circuits came back and we were able to charge that
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: aircraft within fifty minutes. So we're testing and it does
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: not say anything about the cost of it. I can't
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: imagine what like a round trip or I don't even
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: know if you really look at it that way. Do
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: you just buy a one I mean, do you buy
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: a round trip ticket, get over there and just like
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: have a time schedule when you get back. Like, let's
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: say I've scheduled to leave at eight o'clock, so I
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: drive the Cassimi. Yeah, it's almost silly. I mean, you
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: drive to Cosime, it takes you forty five minutes to
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: get a kasimi.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Yeah halfway. Yeah, but now is this they do? Devin
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: The News also had the oi A and in Orlando though,
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: they're going to have.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: A verti port.
- 1:12:34Speaker 8: Yeah, they hope to have one by twenty thirty, right, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:36Speaker 8: that's they hope to be the first airport in the country.
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: Actually, that's wild.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: This one says it's going to be at the it's
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: a signature aviation, explaining one of the benefits of the
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: newly installed Beta Beta charge cube that allows them to
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: charge the vehicles up pretty quickly and get them back
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: out there to do service. Right, And I would think
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: that they would have like a fleet of these that
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: they can kind of just cycle around the differently than
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: you would do for a drill battery, right, In other words,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: you have to drill the batteries all you change so
- 1:13:02Speaker 2: you bring it back and instead of charging the cube,
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: you just have a number of cubes already charged and
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: you just bring it over and you slide it in
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: like you would have drill, and then off you go.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: You don't have to wait an hour for the next
- 1:13:14Speaker 2: flight to leak right exactly charging and within an hour
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: that plane could be used again. And what you do
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: is you just buy enough or you you create enough
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: for these battery packs that you never have to worry
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: about that because every time somebody returns from a trip,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: you're able to charge the thing right back up and
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: get on the road or not on the road. But
- 1:13:29Speaker 2: you know, I like how you said cube, Yeah, you
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: thinking about the all spark from training that same year.
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: That's exactly what I thought when I saw this. But
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: that's what they call it, which I mean I could
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: assume is just basically their battery pack.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Just swap out a battery and throw a new one on. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: then then you can just have them charge. You're just
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: swapping just exactly like any construction site out there right now.
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: They'll have one or two of the machines and then
- 1:13:53Speaker 4: they'll have a bunch of batteries. That way they can
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: keep the battery charge. And by the way, the batteries charge.
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: Pretty quick, they said fifty minutes, so you wouldn't even
- 1:13:59Speaker 2: really they could figure out the logistics of this, so
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: they would never not have a charge battery. So if
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: a customer wanted to come up and uh and take
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: a flight and go to Tampa, they could do that.
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: Would you want to fly in a device this what
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: looks like a man made flying machine with a bunt,
- 1:14:12Speaker 4: the little dewault things stuck in the side.
- 1:14:16Speaker 5: No I do it.
- 1:14:17Speaker 2: The second I would have been probleng with it. What Yeah,
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: I did. Look, you gotta figure it's not gonna get
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: that far off the ground, man, You're probably, you're probably
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: It's only gonna probably be a couple of hundred feet
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: off the ground. That's enough to do some damage, just
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: enough to clip trees and telephone poles.
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: One thing I don't the one thing I don't drawn
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: from Walmart.
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: The one thing I don't find it necessary. Here's the
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: thing I don't understand. It can't be that big, Like
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: theoretically you should be able to land in this room, right,
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: you would think, I mean, it's not gonna be that big.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: The rotors is gonna be the biggest thing on it.
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: I'm sure it's gonna be maybe, you know, two passengers,
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: maybe the most. It doesn't even say that because four
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: is a helicopter. Yeah, I mean four is a lot.
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: I mean you're still you know, you're you know, average
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: build people, you're still talking. But between like seven hundred
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: and one thousand pounds right or maybe five seven hundred
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: pounds for to lift and go probably seventy eighty ninety
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: miles an hour for forty straight minutes. Just give me
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: like a cool monorail from Tampa to Orlando. My question
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: is this though, like will they have proprietary landing spaces
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: in Tampa, like you know the very popular spots of there.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: Will the casino have one? Could you fly to the
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: cruise ships? Could you go to Saint Pete Beach? Are
- 1:15:30Speaker 2: there gonna be like landing pads? Or you go out
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: there and they drop you off and then they go
- 1:15:33Speaker 2: back and pick up more customers, and then when they
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: come back to bring customers to that location, you hop
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: on for the ride back. Is that how it's gonna go?
- 1:15:40Speaker 2: So the Verdi port look it's like a helipad, right exactly. Yeah,
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: It's more like a helipad than it is an airport
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: because the way it could come in basically it looks like,
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: you know a small plane with a bunch of little propellers.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: You could convert an old basketball court to a landing pan. Yeah, right,
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: but that do you do you understand what saying Jack though? Like, Okay,
- 1:16:01Speaker 2: let's say that they have the one leaving port over
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: here in because that's the home, right, that's at the airport.
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: Let's say it's an oi A. Right, it's an OIA.
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: You go in there and you walk through all the
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: stuff you gotta walk through, and then you get on
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: the thing and it takes you to Tampa. Right, that's
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: the goal is to go to Tampa. Is it just
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: one place in Tampa and then you have to uber
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: everywhere from there? Or do you have stops in Tampa?
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: Because these people have installed these teleports, I would think
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: the casino would have one. You'd maybe have one across
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: the street at the at that big amphitheater. Oh I
- 1:16:30Speaker 2: maybe all the way because the fairgrounds are there as well.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Maybe one that goes all the way into into downtown.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: I could definitely see hard Rock having the correct change
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: to have there. Oh yeah, absolutely, right on the top
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: of their parking garage. But the problem is is it's
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: almost never gonna bring anybody back. And the reason why
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: is this, Like, nobody, why do you want to come
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: back to the airport, Like, I mean, you would have
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: the Uber into Orlando. So what I think is your huh,
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: it depends on where you left your car. Well, I mean,
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: if you're ever in Tampa and you're just like, let's
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: say I'm in the hard Rock Live and I've made
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: plants come over to see a show in Orlando, right,
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: and I've play and I've said, well, I'm gonna leave
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: from hard Rock Live. You could leave from any of
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: the places that have the pads. I've chosen to leave
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: from hard Rock Live. So I go to hard Rock Live,
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: play a little play, a little cards or whatever, and
- 1:17:15Speaker 2: then my flight's getting ready to go seven o'clock. They
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: bring somebody that's coming to hard Rock Live, drop them,
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: and then I hop in the one that's going back. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: that I mean. It's just like a plane, right, that's
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: just the same logistics of plane flights, just smaller Bond's
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: eye planes. Jim, would you take it? Probably not? Why not,
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: at least not for the first year, you don't think so, dude,
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: I don't know, Man, I fours already scary enough bringing
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: it into the air kind of scary. Hum exactly would
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: you take it up?
- 1:17:44Speaker 7: No?
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no chance for you.
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: No.
- 1:17:46Speaker 8: It's just like when I release an iOS, I let
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: other people update it and figure out what the bugs
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: and the fixes are, and then when they fix that,
- 1:17:53Speaker 8: then I download it. I just don't want to be
- 1:17:55Speaker 8: in the air when someone says, damn, you don't have
- 1:17:58Speaker 8: enough battery.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Didn't think of that and bring it. The thing is,
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: with these things, I don't know that that could ever happen.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: I would think you would probably have a malfunction before
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: you would run out of power. I think that's the
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: most regulatable thing they have on these on these on
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: the vehicles, is.
- 1:18:13Speaker 3: Seen that airplanes are knocking into each other on the ground.
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: I know, but that has nothing to do with the
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: power they have. That's just a communication. That's just a
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: communication issue. Yeah. Yeah, I would do this, and I
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: think it's kind of cool. I mean you could literally
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: see this happening for services that don't have to leave
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: the airport. Do you have to have a get well,
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: you definitely have to have a license supply one of these.
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: I mean you have to be licensed. Yeah, yeah, you know,
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: whoever the company is that's not it, is it, Jack?
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: That's one. Yeah, that's yeah. That looks like it's a concept.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: That's like one of those military planes that that you
- 1:18:45Speaker 2: know that can fly straight and then and then land
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: up and down. I just I gotta hold you a
- 1:18:51Speaker 2: little to the fire here, Jim. I don't see you
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: ever right in one of these, No I do it.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: The mummy freaks you out? Yeah, I know, because it
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: goes around in circles. I don't have a problem with
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: heights like that, but I know that sounds weird. I
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: do have a problem with heights, but not in airplanes.
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: It's so weird. I don't have that same intensity that
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: I have when I'm just even watching a video of
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: somebody climbing or you know, a rock face or a
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: building or something. I can't watch it. So what I
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: think it's because it's very similar to what this helicopter
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: experience or vertepod would bring. It's a proven safety thing too.
- 1:19:22Speaker 2: But the other thing you don't know about me is
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: I can ride. I can ride roller coasters that don't
- 1:19:26Speaker 2: go in circles. If they just go up and down
- 1:19:28Speaker 2: like the old ones, no problem whatsoever. The drop. The
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: drop rides like Uh, what's the Jurassic Park rides that?
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: What that is is got the long dive at the
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: bottom of the raptor. Yeah, I had no problem with
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: that whatsoever. That does not drop, That does not bother me.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: It's a big ass drop. But I ride thunder Mountain railroad. Dude,
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: you understand the validity of that. I will ride thunder
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: Mountain railroads. There's how many people, do you know why?
- 1:19:56Speaker 2: They're usually dwarves under the age of five. You were
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: right though, they talk about I'm playing a video on
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: our feed right now. It says what is a vertiport?
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: And it said they could be installed on top of
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: buildings and at various places of mass transit.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: The one channel to over here for the chopper they
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: have right off I four. Yeah, you can hop around,
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: yeah yeah.
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: Basically it just looks like, you know, helicopter pads.
- 1:20:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: But I mean, if you think about this, every major
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: city could have this. I mean that has traffic issues.
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: Hell in Atlanta, Atlanta's notoriously bad traffic. You can have
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: one of those that could skip you out of the
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: city in somewhere else that you wanted to go. And
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: throwing this out here not to throw a really bad
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: idea out into the universe. But this is probably going
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: to be mainly used by wealthy people. Yeah, I'm guessing.
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: I'm guessing the rides aren't going to be cheap, and
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: wealthy people tend to not like letting a bunch of
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: people out in the general public know that they're wealthy people. Yeah.
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: So you're saying, just booking a ride.
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: Just booking a ride, if it's like a super you know,
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: it's exclusive. Things supposed to be three hundred to five
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: hundred dollars. Apparently the cost for a flight.
- 1:21:05Speaker 2: Really that's expensive. That's reasonable. No, it's not. I mean,
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: considered to go to Tampa, what does it cost you
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: to drive besides twenty bucks? I think three to five
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: hundred dollars is reasonable. If that's if you have enough money.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: Three hundred would be weird to have that much money
- 1:21:22Speaker 2: and you're flying above a bunch of people who don't.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: Three hundred to Tampa is not cool. Three hundred to
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: clear Water is fine, Guys, I'm telling you that is
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: a different machine there. That'd be like saying, well, I
- 1:21:34Speaker 2: want to leave from Maitland and go to downtown Orlando,
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: or I want to leave from Maitland and go down
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: to the parks, because we all know that once you
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: get past like Conroy Road there, that it's a totally
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: different machine. And being able to like just kind of
- 1:21:48Speaker 2: hover above that wouldn't be the worst thing. Ever. I
- 1:21:51Speaker 2: just don't see you taking this. I would said they
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: should have built a monorail system right in the middle
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: of the highways. That's what I thought they would do.
- 1:21:58Speaker 2: That's what I just said. I'm like, that would be
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: really cool. That's what I thought they were gonna do
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: when they build that. When they did this super or
- 1:22:03Speaker 2: the I for Ultimate Project, I thought they had mentioned that,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: like running like a straight up just from Monae that
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: goes back and forth us and stops like a train
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: just right down the right down the middle of the
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: lane there. And boy, isn't Tampa and Orlando the yin
- 1:22:17Speaker 2: and yang of Florida? It really is?
- 1:22:19Speaker 6: You?
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Are they our rivalry? Is Tampa our are they? I'm
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: asking the question. I don't think it's a rivalry. I've
- 1:22:28Speaker 2: always looked at us as like the straight a student
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: and then they're smoking cigarettes underneath the bleachers. Okay, so
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: I say Jacksonville filling that more that role more. I
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: do not believe that. I think it's Tampa, do you.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: I feel like we're brothers and sisters, but one of
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: us has bain and I'll give you wine. I'll tell
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: you why it's Tampa. You're ready. Tampa the only other
- 1:22:46Speaker 2: city in Florida that has this. So I think that
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: we look at that as a bit of a competition.
- 1:22:53Speaker 2: You know, we have more of that, but they also
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: have the Beach in that they have a theme part.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: What they have a theme park, yeahs Busch Gardens, and
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: no other city in Florida has a theme park. So
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: I think that that natural competition between US and Tampa.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: And we've seen this with concert series and stuff like
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: that for years, with US battling Tampa as a as
- 1:23:17Speaker 2: kind of our rivalry. But they soccer. It's all rival,
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: is it not. I mean kind of Okay, they're not
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: in the same league anymore. But the rowdies, they're so
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: bad it's hard to consider them arrive. Okay, I gotcha,
- 1:23:29Speaker 2: all right, Yeah, I know it's a rival.
- 1:23:31Speaker 4: Now by population alone, they add us out, which is
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: why they get more shows.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: Right, and they have the Beach and we concerts, but
- 1:23:37Speaker 2: we have Disney Universal Halloween, harn Knights, Sea World, we
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: have that and they don't. They have Busch Gardens and
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: that's it. It's also like an artsy vibe in Orlando
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: that I don't think Tampa has. Not only they don't have,
- 1:23:50Speaker 2: but I don't think they want any part of one
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: thousand percent. They do have a part of Tampa, but
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: it's actually not even Tampa. Part of Saint Pete Clearwater
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: has a very kind of bohemian artsy vibe to it,
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: but again, that is not Tampa. Tampa has just like steaks,
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: cigars vibes to me and the Bucks and yeah, yeah,
- 1:24:10Speaker 2: how do you guys know? How do you know they
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: don't have that? I mean you worked there sometimes. Yeah,
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: I've been to Tampa enough for me to be like
- 1:24:17Speaker 2: this is like I said, the yang to Orlandos and yeah,
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: it's one of my least favorite cities in uh in
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: Florida is Tampa. Oh you guys have been to Jacksonville? Yeah,
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: I've been to Jacksonville.
- 1:24:27Speaker 12: What about?
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: What about West Palm? West Palm is not my favorite
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: place either. Yeah that's a dump. Yeah yeah, but Jacksonville
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: is nice because that Jacksonville also has Fernandina Beach that
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: have Anastasia Island up there. So they have some areas
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: near Jacksonville that are great, and Jacksonville just expansive because dall,
- 1:24:46Speaker 2: it's like the whole county. Yeah, yeah, but I gotta
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: tell you it's weird though. If I was gonna live
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: anywhere else in the state of Florida would be over
- 1:24:52Speaker 2: in that Tampa area, be on the west coast. It
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: would be like Saint Pete Clearwater. I would not live
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: like not having down the east East Coast. I wouldn't
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: want to live over there. The love hate relationship, Yeah,
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: Pittsacola sucks. Tallahassee's ton of I mean it's cool, but
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: it's not there's nothing going on.
- 1:25:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: I've always looked at Orlando and Tampa's like brother and
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: sister or two brothers or two sisters. I look at
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: them as siblings, like step brothers. Yeah yeah. And then
- 1:25:14Speaker 2: our dad is Florida and his name Steve. I'd like
- 1:25:18Speaker 2: both like because Tampions love coming to Orlando for the
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: weekend and orlandoins love going to Tampa for the weekend.
- 1:25:26Speaker 2: But both of us don't want to be there seven
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: days a week, and you don't want to give the
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: other one credit for being a good time. No, we don't,
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: and you're one hundred percent right, dude, if you staycation
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: out of Orlando, more than likely you're going to Tampa.
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: All right, begging a second here here, So we actually
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: we're gonna build a mono rail for the airport to Disney.
- 1:25:46Speaker 2: But the reason why I got shot down.
- 1:25:48Speaker 17: Orange County asked Disney, how would you rescue people from
- 1:25:51Speaker 17: the mona rail if it goes down?
- 1:25:52Speaker 2: And the response they couldn't get any other answer was
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: a shutdown I four or shut down the highway to
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: get people off. You can't shut down and make your
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: interstate or something like that. So the project was scrapped.
- 1:26:03Speaker 13: Due to that.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: Anyone can't build it because of something like that. Have
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: a good day, smartest audience in radio.
- 1:26:11Speaker 13: I feel like I would be a little bit leary
- 1:26:13Speaker 13: of the electric jets and mobile even though the Jetson's Wow.
- 1:26:18Speaker 13: They had stuff floating around everywhere different levels too. And
- 1:26:22Speaker 13: did they ever to make a movie off the Jetsons?
- 1:26:25Speaker 15: They need to if they haven't.
- 1:26:26Speaker 13: Another part that I'm thinking about is, you know, maybe
- 1:26:31Speaker 13: you guys should be called Jim Colbert And yeah, yes,
- 1:26:35Speaker 13: because now I say yeah, yeah, behind everything, you know
- 1:26:39Speaker 13: what I mean?
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, probably you're five o'clock. You were just
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: new New go to a real radio OUTFIM and sending
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: that away for your chance at one thousand bucks. New
- 1:26:49Speaker 2: is the word, guy, Go get that money. I would
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: love to get a winner before you got here today.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: It'd be nice to get something on the books before
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: we leave this week, that would I'm Jim, there's deb hello.
- 1:26:58Speaker 2: Jack Jack says yeah, yeah, behind everything too. I do
- 1:27:02Speaker 2: as well. Man, it's a terrible habit.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: And I did this, and I didn't pick it up
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: from Jack jacksonan doing this for years. He did it
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: on the on the file. I knew a buddy back
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: in the day that owned an auto shop, and his
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: whole thing was that as well, if you were saying something,
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: he knew what you're gonna say before you got done
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: saying it, he'd go yea, yeah, yeahah almost just kind
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: of let you know. You didn't have to finish the
- 1:27:24Speaker 2: sentence because he got it.
- 1:27:25Speaker 4: I know there's a couple of bit I know Tom
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: Van does it as well, but I didn't realize I
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: did it till someone was doing an impression of me
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: and that's what they were doing.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: And I'm like, huh yeah, yeah, yeah, a bitch, Yes,
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: they do do that. That's it's kind of weird. You
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: have those idiots. You know what I do a lot.
- 1:27:43Speaker 2: People just call me out all the time about it.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: I say the word theoretically a lot, uh huh yeah,
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: and I take my glasses on and off a whole lot.
- 1:27:51Speaker 7: You do.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's one that has always jumped out and
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: it's not wrong. I've actually quite grown to love it.
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: I like how you say TV TV. Yeah, yeah, you
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: like I say that just the two letters TV. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: but not there. It has to be natural, you say
- 1:28:09Speaker 2: TV in a very natural TV. Yeah, that's right on
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: the TV. What are you gonna watch? It's hard to
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: read create watch it? Watch what uh?
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: Ted?
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: Last? I want to watch? On TV? TV? There was
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: a little something there is that. There's a little bit
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: TV And I like that. Really, do you have one
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: of those? I do like a language quirk, Yeah, I say,
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: I'm a big fan of we Ride. Oh yeah, yeah.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: I like the word rie. You used to say, used
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: to say they had and flow. No, No it wasn't.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: When you almost hit it almost did a T shirt
- 1:28:41Speaker 2: the gap. Yeah, shoot the gap, dude, shoot the gap.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: Shoot the gap in a why I'm a fan of
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: shooting gaps. Oh boy, like the candle. Yeah, he was
- 1:28:50Speaker 2: your wife happy to see Was your wife happy to
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: see you after your trip? Yes? In fact, it's a
- 1:28:57Speaker 2: massive part of ross thoughts. While you kind of touched
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: on something that we'll be talking about later, is that
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: that absence makes the heart grow fonder scenario to a
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: way I never thought it was imagined, but I gotta
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: tell you that hit me. My wife travels for her work,
- 1:29:12Speaker 2: and she does it in spaces like she will. She
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: will travel two or three weeks out of a month
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: and then not travel for four or five months. She
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: has another travel month coming up next month and the
- 1:29:21Speaker 2: end of this month. And it's one particular time around
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: Father's Day. She was gone for I think nine straight days,
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: so she was gone like and she left on a Monday,
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: so it was a Monday all the way through or
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: excuse me, a Friday through two full weekends, and it sucked.
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: When she got back, I was super super happy. Yeah,
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: I forgot all the stuff you do for me.
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, what's the same. Absence makes the heart grow fonder? Yeah,
- 1:29:50Speaker 2: that is a true statement. Dep do you have a
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: little do you have an audio synchronicity thing that.
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: You do real difficult time saying.
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: Calm?
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: I used to have that same thing, Arnold Palmer.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: And then depending on what words are before or after,
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: we'll really.
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: Do you have?
- 1:30:06Speaker 4: What's a football team from Jacksonville? That would be the Jaguars?
- 1:30:14Speaker 4: What do you watch that football team on?
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: Oh?
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: No, you didn't do it there and there was no
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: Sunday dressing.
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: On the.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: TV. I don't even know. I don't.
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: It's kind of like how I say bag is as
- 1:30:27Speaker 3: hard as I try, and I do it all the time.
- 1:30:31Speaker 8: My mom and my husband laugh at me. I'm like,
- 1:30:33Speaker 8: just get the ball. God I do because I say
- 1:30:37Speaker 8: bag the same way.
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: Panties.
- 1:30:39Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: That one.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: Panties. What did I say it wrong?
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: No?
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: What was I?
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:30:48Speaker 3: I forgot It's Friday.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: I got one for It's fifteen minutes away from you, panties.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: There's one thing I can't stand about Jack. Are we
- 1:30:58Speaker 2: doing that?
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:31:01Speaker 18: So far?
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: We hate Jack.
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: We hate Jack.
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: This took a turn. This is the topic. Right, well,
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: we don't like about Jack. Right on my shirt it
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: says five twenty Jack, alright, all right, you ready for this.
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: There's Princess Peach. Uh, there's Luigi, there's Bowser, and there's
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: him Mariod, it's Mario. It's not Mario who hits it
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: with the mayor.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: Dude.
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: It's right. I don't like that about you. Every time
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: I swear I told him this like day tune and
- 1:31:34Speaker 2: I watched this for the rest of our friendship. You're
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: never gonna change it. And I'm gonna double down the word.
- 1:31:40Speaker 17: You know.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: The funny thing is is when you have one of
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: those words you can't get through, you also try to
- 1:31:45Speaker 2: say it more than ever.
- 1:31:46Speaker 6: Right, you guys know Mario, Mark Mario, Mario, Mario just
- 1:31:52Speaker 6: put it in the bag. Yeah, Mario, Mario. Like to Mario,
- 1:31:58Speaker 6: I got mine as uh.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: And I'll have to think about it to say it
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: proprietary o, not that that is that is a really
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: tough word for me to say.
- 1:32:09Speaker 4: I can't say. I can't say archipelago. Yeah, I always
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: lean on archipelago and I know that and it's not
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: archipelago and it's archipelago.
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: Yeah. I just found out like a year ago it's
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: not minnianapolis. What like, it's a big one. Yeah, No,
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: it's not a mini one. It's Minneapolis, not Minnianapolis. I
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: keep putting a Minnianapolis like I'm putting an an in there. God,
- 1:32:41Speaker 2: and they're so embarrassing.
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: Someone's asking Jimmy to say tirefire TV Jaguar, tire Fire
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: TV Jaguar.
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: It's not Jaguar. It's actually pronounced Jaguar. It is pronounced
- 1:32:54Speaker 2: that way. That's it's one of them. Okay, say February February.
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: February February.
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, we did have with.
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: Fbru area. Have another. It's not Febru Area, it's February one.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: That trips me up.
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: And I hear it in an AD and I'm like, oh,
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: that's how you say it. It's preventive. You say that right,
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: not preventative, right.
- 1:33:18Speaker 2: But I gotta tell you, I used to get called
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: out for that all the time, and it's the same thing.
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: You can actually use. You can't say, look it up.
- 1:33:25Speaker 2: You can use both of those words mean the same thing, basically,
- 1:33:28Speaker 2: because I say preventive care because I did it with
- 1:33:31Speaker 2: the life imaging ADS and peop were like, no, it's preventative,
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: and I'm like, no, it could be either. I thought
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: I was wrong. When I heard that, I'm like, oh,
- 1:33:38Speaker 2: I guess I miss that one too.
- 1:33:40Speaker 8: I had somebody snap at me one time when I
- 1:33:42Speaker 8: was like looking for a new place to live. It
- 1:33:43Speaker 8: was this is a long, long time ago, and we're looking,
- 1:33:46Speaker 8: you know, at rentals and three four and he goes, oh,
- 1:33:49Speaker 8: by the way, I listen every day and it's any way,
- 1:33:52Speaker 8: there is no s oh.
- 1:33:55Speaker 4: And I was like, well, my daughter was doing that
- 1:33:58Speaker 4: for a while here, and my wife's like, stop correcting
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: her on that, and today today shall say anyways. And
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: I think they finally added the damn word to the
- 1:34:08Speaker 4: did they really anyways?
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:34:10Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: Well people from where you're from, Bradshaw kill me with
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: that whole use thing use yeah, what she's doing, Oh okay,
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: what she's doing over there? The worst mispronunciation I've ever
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: had on any word. I was in this like, this
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: is one of the biggest entertainment opportunities that I had
- 1:34:30Speaker 2: ever had up to this point. I was doing a
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: read through for a play. Yeah, and my character had
- 1:34:35Speaker 2: the word on delay, right, But I don't know, I've
- 1:34:41Speaker 2: never seen that word on paper ever before. So I
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: hit it with like adelaide, how I how I said it,
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: but it was, and everyone just laughed at me. Another
- 1:34:54Speaker 2: one too, is well, obviously we've gone through the teriso charitho.
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: But the other one is this, you gotta say it
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: like that in June.
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: Hey.
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: Another one is this your mom has sisters? Right, Yeah,
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: what do you call them my aunts? That's correct? It
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: is not correct. It is it is not it's your aunt.
- 1:35:18Speaker 2: It is not your aunt, because how do you spell
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: the word haunt. Yeah, but there's a whole bunch of But.
- 1:35:24Speaker 3: If you can say jaguar, then he can say an
- 1:35:28Speaker 3: It's only if you're trying to sound like an up.
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: I'm just trying to pronounce it properly. You just want
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: to be British.
- 1:35:37Speaker 8: They pronounce ammoun every single yeah, schedule.
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: That's the craziest one of all. From that when English
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: when they say aluminum, Oh my god, I'm like, it's aluminum.
- 1:35:49Speaker 5: Guys.
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: It's actually easier the way we do it, and it's
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: still correct. You should drop on board. My favorite one
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: from England to hear is controversy. It's funny, that's controversial.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: Don't say it like that. Yeah, it's your aunt, it
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: is not your aunt. Don't say that. That's incorrect, and
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: it makes you sound like an aunt. No, she's my aunt.
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: No, No, you're you're okay. Most everyone says aunt.
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: I can't say aunt anne. No, no, hold on, now,
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: hold on. In African American families, they say Auntie, right,
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: aunt Like they say aunt Auntie. That's an aunt. White
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: family's dropping auntie as well. They probably say aunt They
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: probably say Auntie as well, don't they. Yeah, hello Auntie. No,
- 1:36:36Speaker 2: it's Auntie. Yeah. Yeah, I'm just quoting Black Panther, the
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: movie Mountain, the movement that is where we get over
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: African American culture from. It's from the movie Black Panther. Wow,
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: nobody's more diverse than this show. You're not slipping any
- 1:36:55Speaker 2: tubman info through on us. I don't think many opportunities
- 1:36:59Speaker 2: to share my I don't get many chances to share
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: my wife's like most embarrassing low light. Uh, but I will.
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: Why would you do that? Because it's the funniest She
- 1:37:08Speaker 2: has no recourse. It's the best thing I've ever she
- 1:37:11Speaker 2: has recourse. Artist, I've ever laughed at my wife, and
- 1:37:16Speaker 2: she still laughs at it, which is why I think
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: I could share it. And enough time as past I've
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: shared it on this program before. But at the end
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: of endgame, when Captain America gives his shields to Falcon,
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: Oh spoiler, dude. I know, I know, I know, it's
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: been years, but when Captain America gives a shield to Falcon,
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: my wife looks at me and does the Wakanda tribe chan.
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: I go, no, no, no, no, no, no, different black guy.
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: There's two black guys. You got them confused with. That's Falcon.
- 1:37:46Speaker 2: He's not part of the Wakanda family. And we're like,
- 1:37:49Speaker 2: we're in a sold out theater, so you're saying that theater.
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: She starts doing the dude, that's pretty funny. All these
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: nerds go, oh, no, way, not the hot chick. What
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: is she doing? I would have lug her so much,
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: but now it's a nerd. I can't even like hers
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: so hot. Like, there's two black dues throughout the entire franchise.
- 1:38:16Speaker 2: You just went from a ten to a four. Honey,
- 1:38:19Speaker 2: still makes me laugh. And it was like and she
- 1:38:22Speaker 2: was like getting choked up. It was like an emotional
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: moment from her thinking that black Panthers getting Captain America shield.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: And this was also during that time, which was a
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: very tumultuous time. I would say, good word right, tumultuous, Yes,
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: you got it right. Yeah, he just he just had
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: a stroke on that last syllable. They got through, but
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: the yeah, and that was god man. Yeah, that's one
- 1:38:46Speaker 2: of my favorite memories of being married in a long
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: term relationship. Right four oh seven nine one six one

- 1:45:03Speaker 3: Lord, I don't even want you to describe the title.
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: Here's a couple that did not make the cut. It's
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: actually Jim's nightmare. It's a it's just a real squad. Actually,
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: the funny thing is that's what it's built around, is
- 1:45:16Speaker 2: that the the premise is squatting, not squatting. Oh, she's
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: got to get this guy over her house somehow, if
- 1:45:25Speaker 2: you feel me? All right, I mean that's a solid
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: premise because foreign premises go, that's that's as good as
- 1:45:32Speaker 2: the cable guy. That's a solid premise. So yeah, a
- 1:45:35Speaker 2: couple that did not make the cut Plumpers at Play
- 1:45:39Speaker 2: Mine Shaft. I'm sorry, can we go back to one again?
- 1:45:41Speaker 2: Plumpers that plays at play? But can I tell you
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: there is a plumpers that play as well? All right?
- 1:45:47Speaker 7: Good?
- 1:45:48Speaker 2: Mine Shaft and did you not go with Mine Shaft?
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: And hodown All did not make the cut this week?
- 1:45:58Speaker 2: Ross what's coming up for thoughts? My friend? So, I
- 1:46:00Speaker 2: definitely just had the greatest trip of my entire life.
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: But what I was not expecting was to kind of
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: have the greatest moment of my life and birth of
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: your child. This honestly, do not doing to I'm going
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: to you should not do it. Don't listen to not
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: listen to Jack, you don't listen to them. I will
- 1:46:22Speaker 2: always have your best interest at heart. This guy wants
- 1:46:25Speaker 2: to ruin you and watch it burns. Do you remember
- 1:46:28Speaker 2: the teas that I told you, Jim, watch this, watch this.
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: I said, Jim, I think you like me, but after
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: today's rostots, you're going to love me. Because I am
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: happy and proud to say that my trip, I didn't
- 1:46:39Speaker 2: see it happening. This one part of the trip that
- 1:46:42Speaker 2: was part of the package was the best moment of
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: my life that includes my marriage, that includes the birth
- 1:46:50Speaker 2: of my child. And I will tell you what that
- 1:46:53Speaker 2: moment exactly was. After the break, I promise you, Jim,
- 1:46:57Speaker 2: you're gonna love me. I know I've lost you right now.
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: He looks like he's almost tipping over sideways.
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: I think this is uh it was. There was a
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: moment on my trip that was the best moment of
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: my I think of my life.
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: Now does your wife know this?
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: I don't know, I think, I think. I don't know.
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: What do you mean you don't know? I don't know
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: if she knows that this one moment on my trip
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: was the best moment I am. Why is to pick
- 1:47:24Speaker 2: the porn music?
- 1:47:24Speaker 6: Still?
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: I know we're letting you prepare her for yourself the

- 1:49:03Speaker 10: Sauce.
- 1:49:05Speaker 2: It's Ross Thoughts. Today's Ross Thoughts is brought to you
- 1:49:08Speaker 2: by Just Callmo Just Calmo dot com. Injured on the go,
- 1:49:11Speaker 2: Just Callmo. I'm doing the Mo comedy jam side splitters
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: nice and I believe it's August eighth. I will be
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: down there doing some comedy four Mode do it and
- 1:49:20Speaker 2: if you've never been to a Mode duit event. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: they're good.
- 1:49:23Speaker 7: Do it.
- 1:49:24Speaker 2: He does a good job. Man, he knows how to
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: throw him down, He really does. He knows how to
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: do a good job at that.
- 1:49:28Speaker 15: Huh.
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: He's he's really got that market anything down. He and
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: John do a good job over there. Slip and fall,
- 1:49:32Speaker 2: car accident, injured on the go, Just Callmo. So, Jim,
- 1:49:35Speaker 2: I feel like I kind of lost you. I told
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: you that this was the greatest kind of moment in
- 1:49:39Speaker 2: my life. But I need to also give you some context. Yeah,
- 1:49:42Speaker 2: please do all right, So if you are just joining me,
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: if you don't know what this is all about, my
- 1:49:47Speaker 2: name is Ross. I am obsessed with the sport that
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: we call soccer in this country. I've been following it
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: for twenty years. I went to the semi final of
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: England versus Argentina and it was phenomenal. It was phenomenal,
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: truly an out of body experience. You got to see
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: the greatest soccer player ever to live to play his
- 1:50:07Speaker 2: last World Cup or one of his last World Cup matches.
- 1:50:10Speaker 2: This will be Messi's last World Cup. And I thought
- 1:50:12Speaker 2: going into it that I may have gotten tickets to
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: Messi's last World Cup game, but alas, that's okay, though
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: I was wrong. I got and I got to see
- 1:50:21Speaker 2: soccer magic right there in front of me and see
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: what pure soccer energy exists. But that wasn't actually the
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: highlight of the entire trip. It wasn't the highlight of
- 1:50:31Speaker 2: the entire trip. Wasn't even spending twelve hours with my
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: two other best friends. I had one other friend fly
- 1:50:38Speaker 2: and meet me in Atlanta, and spending twelve hours with
- 1:50:41Speaker 2: two other best friends driving up to Atlanta and laughing
- 1:50:44Speaker 2: and reminiscing, and boy, if you're going through something a
- 1:50:48Speaker 2: car ride, a car ride can do some wonders. It's
- 1:50:51Speaker 2: the greatest and you have therapeutic at the nth level.
- 1:50:55Speaker 2: There's this point during a car ride, especially with other people, say,
- 1:50:59Speaker 2: if all of us on a car ride and it's seven,
- 1:51:01Speaker 2: if we drove up to Atlanta, four of us, imagine
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: I can't a long time out who's driving me? We
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: we can split, we can split it. So so deb
- 1:51:14Speaker 2: you would take the driving responsibility the whole time. No, no, no, see,
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: well not a chance. I have a feeling this actually
- 1:51:22Speaker 2: wouldn't really help us. No, before I would have thought
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: like no, I'd think that would be a huge team building,
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: chemistry growing activity. How far does that trip have to
- 1:51:31Speaker 2: be for that to happen. It's not a miles thing, Jim.
- 1:51:34Speaker 2: It's a moment thing. As soon as the conversation runs
- 1:51:37Speaker 2: out of gas for the first time, that's that's a
- 1:51:40Speaker 2: youth thing. Because everyone's been in a car, right and
- 1:51:43Speaker 2: you're laughing and you're having fun, and then all of
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: a sudden, that first swath of silence shows up in
- 1:51:48Speaker 2: the car. That happens around Lake City that's that moment
- 1:51:51Speaker 2: right there. Every minute after that silent moment in the
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: car is beneficial for your mental health. Okay, good, I
- 1:51:58Speaker 2: get this is fine, But that's that's not the favorite part.
- 1:52:01Speaker 2: That's not my favorite part. It wasn't staying in a
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: penthouse in Atlanta either, although I thought going into it
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: that might have been my favorite part. So looking over
- 1:52:10Speaker 2: the skyline of Atlanta. And before I tell you the
- 1:52:14Speaker 2: best thing that's happened in my life, I need to
- 1:52:15Speaker 2: kind of open up and express something that I need
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: to come to grips with is that I am almost
- 1:52:21Speaker 2: two years now into fatherhood, yes, and parenting, and safe
- 1:52:25Speaker 2: to say, it has been the hardest thing I've ever done.
- 1:52:29Speaker 2: And I didn't even give birth. I didn't. I've got
- 1:52:32Speaker 2: the long straw out of us too. When it comes
- 1:52:35Speaker 2: to becoming parents, I do not have the hardest job.
- 1:52:39Speaker 2: With that said, there have been times with fatherhood and
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: being a parent that I have struggled with and I
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: don't want to admit it, but greatly there are some
- 1:52:49Speaker 2: parts of fatherhood that I have struggled with. And I've
- 1:52:52Speaker 2: been told from other parents throughout this When she was
- 1:52:56Speaker 2: pregnant that like it might take a little bit longer.
- 1:52:59Speaker 2: People think about the magic moment as soon as you
- 1:53:02Speaker 2: see your son, or as Sue, as soon as you
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: see your daughter. And I was told a little disclaimer, guys,
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: takes a little bit longer to fall in love with you,
- 1:53:10Speaker 2: just fall in love with your child. Yes, I was
- 1:53:14Speaker 2: a year in I thought for sure that I'm like,
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: this is it, dude, this is the most love I
- 1:53:21Speaker 2: have ever received. When it wasn't spending time with my friends,
- 1:53:25Speaker 2: it wasn't going to a semi final of the World Cup.
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: That's got me choked up being emotional right now. The
- 1:53:32Speaker 2: best thing that's ever happened to me was leaving my
- 1:53:35Speaker 2: son and wife and coming back to them. And I
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: mean that a tenfold. It took me longer than I'd
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: like to admit, but I was about an hour, Like
- 1:53:46Speaker 2: I could cry talking about it right now. I was
- 1:53:48Speaker 2: an hour into my car trip to Atlanta, and when
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: all of a sudden, just different thoughts started setting in
- 1:53:56Speaker 2: and I started realizing of like, how much I am
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: not looking forward the next morning without my eyes screaming dad, dad, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: And it was it was. There's been a lot of
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: lows these last you know, ever since he's been born,
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: and knowing of not knowing what to do or not
- 1:54:15Speaker 2: knowing what to feel. Am I doing a good enough job?
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: Will I be a good enough dad? And it was
- 1:54:21Speaker 2: insane to me that the semi final has solidified that
- 1:54:26Speaker 2: I'm not a bad dad. In fact, I'm a pretty
- 1:54:29Speaker 2: damn good one. I would agree with that, coming home
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: and getting closer and closer and closer to a place
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: that if I'm being honest with you, I have been
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: very critical of my home, wanting more, maybe a different
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: color or a different door. And you get so obsessed
- 1:54:47Speaker 2: with trying to make your surroundings so much better, And
- 1:54:51Speaker 2: you gotta be wary of that, because if you get
- 1:54:54Speaker 2: so obsessed with making your surroundings better, you end up
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: making your surroundings worse. You start focusing on the surroundings
- 1:55:03Speaker 2: and not what it's surrounding. Yes, And I think that
- 1:55:08Speaker 2: was the biggest speed bumping hurdle that I have taken
- 1:55:11Speaker 2: to the face ever since becoming a dad. I want
- 1:55:15Speaker 2: my home to be clean because I want him to
- 1:55:17Speaker 2: be raised in a clean home. I want this to
- 1:55:20Speaker 2: be a specific way because I want him to experience
- 1:55:24Speaker 2: the best version of it. But if you focus on
- 1:55:27Speaker 2: trying to fix that one thing and not the thing
- 1:55:31Speaker 2: that you're trying to fix it for, you can kind
- 1:55:34Speaker 2: of get lost in a little bit of a whirlwind.
- 1:55:37Speaker 2: And I can honestly say that this trip, leaving my home,
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: leaving my son for the first time since he's been born,
- 1:55:45Speaker 2: leaving my wife, just being by myself for the first
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: time since he's been born, felt amazing.
- 1:55:54Speaker 7: It.
- 1:55:55Speaker 2: It reminded me and it kind of gave me, for
- 1:55:57Speaker 2: the first time of my life, a receipt of how
- 1:56:00Speaker 2: much I love my son. Yeah, and I don't think
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: I would have taken that opportunity or had that chance
- 1:56:09Speaker 2: if it wasn't for what's the same abstinence makes the grow,
- 1:56:12Speaker 2: the heart grow fonder, heart grow fonder. I I was
- 1:56:17Speaker 2: thirty minutes on my car ride back home thinking how
- 1:56:21Speaker 2: big is this Dada going to be? I didn't think
- 1:56:24Speaker 2: about an athlete. I didn't think about the semifinal. I
- 1:56:28Speaker 2: didn't think about anything other than what is the volume
- 1:56:33Speaker 2: of this dad.
- 1:56:35Speaker 3: It is?
- 1:56:36Speaker 2: It was the biggest surprise plot twist of my trip
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: to this semifinal was uh realizing that at home is
- 1:56:44Speaker 2: a vacation as well as long as long as you
- 1:56:47Speaker 2: can see it maybe from a different perspective. Sometimes you
- 1:56:50Speaker 2: got to go to Atlanta to see how special your
- 1:56:53Speaker 2: home in Orlando is, and I I could not. I
- 1:56:59Speaker 2: wept when I first came home and I held him.
- 1:57:01Speaker 2: I don't want to be away from him like that
- 1:57:05Speaker 2: very much longer ever in my life. How about your wife,
- 1:57:07Speaker 2: did you feel the same way about her? I absolutely, yes,
- 1:57:11Speaker 2: thousand percent. Yeah. When my wife goes away for a while,
- 1:57:13Speaker 2: when she comes back in the first thing I make
- 1:57:14Speaker 2: her do is hug me like we hugged for an
- 1:57:17Speaker 2: extended period of time. I just wanted a feeler, you know.
- 1:57:20Speaker 2: The first thing I came home to actually wasn't a
- 1:57:22Speaker 2: dad that It was monster noises in my bedroom of
- 1:57:26Speaker 2: my wife playing with my son. Oh yeah, that's great,
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: and him laughing. And I just stood there as the
- 1:57:33Speaker 2: dogs greeted me at the front door, and I just
- 1:57:35Speaker 2: sat there in the doorway just listening to what, uh,
- 1:57:42Speaker 2: listening to a life that before this trip I found
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: myself being critical of yeah, and.
- 1:57:49Speaker 3: Uh, focusing on the tough parts of fatherhood.
- 1:57:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Of maybe maybe the volume being too loud or
- 1:57:55Speaker 2: but too much mess. There was there was something about
- 1:57:57Speaker 2: that trip in that doorway that I menw. I was like, oh,
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: I know what I'm talking about on radio tomorrow, because
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: it absolutely punched me through my chest of hearing those
- 1:58:08Speaker 2: noises that I have grown already quickly embarrassingly at times
- 1:58:14Speaker 2: indifferent from either slept deprivation. If you hear and my
- 1:58:17Speaker 2: son laugh and you can get used to it quickly,
- 1:58:20Speaker 2: but having two days away from them reminded me to
- 1:58:26Speaker 2: grow obsessed with that noise in that doorway. I will
- 1:58:29Speaker 2: never forget this trip, not because of where I went,
- 1:58:33Speaker 2: but because of who I came back to and what
- 1:58:37Speaker 2: I came back to. You have to leave the things
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: that you have every now and then, I think, to
- 1:58:43Speaker 2: reappreciate the things that you have. And I'm surprised that
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: it was an England Argentina semifinal that reminded me that
- 1:58:52Speaker 2: I really have a World Cup final at home, and
- 1:58:55Speaker 2: I can't I can't wait to get the next chance
- 1:59:00Speaker 2: to never grow sick or tired of being a dad,
- 1:59:04Speaker 2: because there are some there are some rough moments, yeah,
- 1:59:08Speaker 2: but I have a feeling that coming home off of
- 1:59:11Speaker 2: this trip has grown my patience with fatherhood exponentially. And
- 1:59:16Speaker 2: if there's any parent out there, that's it's just thinking
- 1:59:21Speaker 2: that this is hard, this is impossible, this is if
- 1:59:25Speaker 2: I have to end this ross thoughts, the best way
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: that I can is that it's not These feelings aren't
- 1:59:31Speaker 2: obtainable without my wife letting me and understanding that I
- 1:59:36Speaker 2: A trip was very beneficial for me. Yeah, So thank
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: you to my wife for saying you can go.
- 1:59:43Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:59:44Speaker 2: She was like when she said, I think you need
- 1:59:46Speaker 2: this trip more than you even know. And that doorway
- 1:59:50Speaker 2: and hearing my wife make monster noises and my son
- 1:59:55Speaker 2: laughing as hard as he did before I got to
- 1:59:57Speaker 2: hear the high volume dad. It was the best part
- 2:00:00Speaker 2: of my trip and probably, and no confidently say the
- 2:00:04Speaker 2: best moment in my life because that I got to
- 2:00:08Speaker 2: finally really absorb yeah, and finally fall in love with
- 2:00:12Speaker 2: my life. I think all over again. But I can't
- 2:00:15Speaker 2: help but imagine that your experience with your own father
- 2:00:19Speaker 2: has some implications on how you're feeling about your role
- 2:00:21Speaker 2: as a dad. Ah yeah, well you know, even subconsciously.
- 2:00:24Speaker 2: I bet it probably does. It's not just him and
- 2:00:27Speaker 2: my experience with my own dad, but I'm fully aware
- 2:00:31Speaker 2: of who and what I am to the rest of
- 2:00:35Speaker 2: the world. I preach self awareness. I love self awareness.
- 2:00:38Speaker 2: I think self awareness can go a very long way.
- 2:00:40Speaker 2: Where I'm going with this is that I know what
- 2:00:42Speaker 2: I look like, and I know that if I mess
- 2:00:44Speaker 2: up as a dad, it's to be almost expected to
- 2:00:48Speaker 2: not you guys, but to other people, because I know
- 2:00:52Speaker 2: what I look like. I'm an inflatable guy in a
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: car dealerships trying to sell you a car with one
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: waving arm. I didn't even know they did that out
- 2:01:00Speaker 2: of those things, but they do. Yeah, uh and uh,
- 2:01:03Speaker 2: you got people out there busting up. Dude. Sometimes I
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: get a little paranoid and anxiety filled about if am
- 2:01:09Speaker 2: I doing a good enough job, And for the first
- 2:01:12Speaker 2: time in that doorway, it hit me that I am.
- 2:01:15Speaker 2: And I did not expect that at all. Yeah. Yeah,
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: And I hope that anybody is out there, and if
- 2:01:22Speaker 2: you are up against the wall when it comes to parenting,
- 2:01:25Speaker 2: I really hope that you can go ahead and leave
- 2:01:28Speaker 2: and come back and realize what you all have. And
- 2:01:31Speaker 2: those are your ross thoughts. The best moment of my life.
- 2:01:33Speaker 2: I hope you enjoyed it. I'm out peace, all right.
- 2:01:35Speaker 2: Four O seven nine six four one text us seven
- 2:01:38Speaker 2: seven zero three one your six o'clock. Heyword his dollar,
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: that's d L l A ARM good a real radio
- 2:01:43Speaker 2: out of him and send that away for your chance
- 2:01:44Speaker 2: at one thousand dollars. Back in a second with more
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: of the gym cord show.
- 2:01:55Speaker 5: Man.
- 2:01:55Speaker 15: I don't think you understand just how all aspiring you
- 2:01:59Speaker 15: are off Whipford West Mom.
- 2:02:02Speaker 2: Dude, to think that you know you're just you guys
- 2:02:05Speaker 2: are young, trying to figure it all out, and then
- 2:02:07Speaker 2: you come out with this. This is the moment that
- 2:02:12Speaker 2: made me the happiest.
- 2:02:14Speaker 5: Ross.
- 2:02:14Speaker 2: You've got it figured out, buddy, You're doing it all right.
- 2:02:17Speaker 13: Keep doing what you're doing.
- 2:02:18Speaker 2: Man, We loved it. Thanks Cliff, dude. I don't believe
- 2:02:26Speaker 2: that you're six o'clock he or does dollar d O
- 2:02:33Speaker 2: L L A R. Go to real radio out of
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: him and send that off for your chance at a
- 2:02:37Speaker 2: thousand bucks. Well you mile the nuggets, dude. That's a
- 2:02:42Speaker 2: lot of nuggets of the kleenex. All the kleenex you
- 2:02:44Speaker 2: need after that, Rostus, Jim, there's dead he and uh
- 2:02:48Speaker 2: Ross was it trying to make anyone? I didn't want
- 2:02:51Speaker 2: to cry there? Damn what you did, it's necessary. Sometimes
- 2:02:56Speaker 2: it was a ceiling. I remember telling me. He was
- 2:03:01Speaker 2: one of the first people that gave me a heads up.
- 2:03:03Speaker 2: Nobody listens to him. Dude, how many times do I
- 2:03:07Speaker 2: have to tell you he's one of the worst people
- 2:03:08Speaker 2: in the building. Nobody listens to him, Nobody talks to him.
- 2:03:11Speaker 2: And it's for a reason what he say to you.
- 2:03:13Speaker 2: I'm interested anyway, But he gave me the heads up
- 2:03:18Speaker 2: of you know, some people are gonna tell you that
- 2:03:20Speaker 2: the big magical moment is as soon, you know, as
- 2:03:23Speaker 2: soon as birth happens. Yeah, but I think I don't
- 2:03:27Speaker 2: want to put words in his mouth, but it was
- 2:03:29Speaker 2: something along the lines of that. It wasn't that was
- 2:03:32Speaker 2: a special moment, but it didn't hit for me in
- 2:03:35Speaker 2: this special magical way until way later, right because there's
- 2:03:38Speaker 2: no cognitive connection at that point. The baby, the child
- 2:03:42Speaker 2: really doesn't understand anything. You love it, but it's a
- 2:03:45Speaker 2: one way road. And I would agree with you in
- 2:03:47Speaker 2: some sense that the minute to your child and my
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: grandchild's going through this right now, starting to kind of
- 2:03:53Speaker 2: understand what's happening and recognize faces and stuff and light
- 2:03:56Speaker 2: up when they see your face or whatever. He loves
- 2:03:58Speaker 2: playing with my with my ot and stuff. And I
- 2:04:01Speaker 2: was actually during the break, I was texting my wife
- 2:04:03Speaker 2: to asked if she had seen him today, and she said, yeah,
- 2:04:05Speaker 2: I got to hang out a few hours. I'm like, jealous,
- 2:04:07Speaker 2: but you are one thousand percent right, and there's nothing
- 2:04:10Speaker 2: wrong with you thinking that that you didn't have that
- 2:04:13Speaker 2: connection until then. A lot of mothers don't have that
- 2:04:15Speaker 2: connection for even longer, dude. I mean, like the postpartum
- 2:04:18Speaker 2: thing is real. Like moms have a hard time sometimes
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: because the overwhelming nature of what just happened, not own
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: to their body, but their life can become like really heavy,
- 2:04:29Speaker 2: you know. I mean, it's it's kind of embarrassing to say,
- 2:04:32Speaker 2: but I already said it. I mean, people have been
- 2:04:34Speaker 2: a part of this program. They know how old my
- 2:04:36Speaker 2: son is. He'll be two in September. It's July. This
- 2:04:40Speaker 2: happened yesterday. It took me, what is that twenty two months?
- 2:04:44Speaker 2: Took me almost twenty two months for me to all
- 2:04:46Speaker 2: of a sudden get just this that magical. I mean,
- 2:04:51Speaker 2: niagara falls, love, amount different feeling. As soon as that
- 2:04:56Speaker 2: I heard him laugh and monsterises in the doorway, I says,
- 2:04:59Speaker 2: how there you unlock one of the most emotional moments
- 2:05:02Speaker 2: of my life. On a Friday afternoon, give me the reddest,
- 2:05:04Speaker 2: puffiest eyes. A lot of dudes, a lot of dudes
- 2:05:09Speaker 2: checking in about how emotional they got listening to that.
- 2:05:12Speaker 2: I mean a gentleman who just called a second ago
- 2:05:14Speaker 2: left that talk back, which is very sweet, you know,
- 2:05:16Speaker 2: I mean a lot.
- 2:05:17Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:05:17Speaker 2: I think the number one thing is this dog is
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: you're a grown ass man. You're an accomplished young man,
- 2:05:24Speaker 2: and you're not afraid to express how you feel about
- 2:05:27Speaker 2: these life moments that are really really kind of very
- 2:05:33Speaker 2: very clear and PETI pivotal for you right now. I
- 2:05:35Speaker 2: agree with that. So you sharing this and how it's
- 2:05:39Speaker 2: affecting you. A lot of people just don't have the
- 2:05:40Speaker 2: ability to do that, Like they can't do that. They
- 2:05:43Speaker 2: don't know they've built a defense system against emotion because
- 2:05:47Speaker 2: their childhoods, their marriages, their life has has told them
- 2:05:51Speaker 2: that I build this wall to protect myself, and anything
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: on the other side of this wall means emotion. And
- 2:05:57Speaker 2: I ain't ready for that. Dude. I am sitting right
- 2:05:59Speaker 2: in front of you and I you, uh yeah, I
- 2:06:05Speaker 2: gotta tell you. I I actually it's funny, same thing.
- 2:06:09Speaker 2: And I've never seen Jack even I've never seen Jack
- 2:06:12Speaker 2: even come close to crying, not once ever. I'm not
- 2:06:16Speaker 2: even twenty five years. It's a badge, Yeah, a badge.
- 2:06:21Speaker 2: I wear a badge of death and I've cried on
- 2:06:24Speaker 2: there a number of times. I do not care, not
- 2:06:26Speaker 2: even one bit them. The it's you gotta people hold
- 2:06:31Speaker 2: other people very accountable. They project their expectations and other people.
- 2:06:36Speaker 2: But I am a big believer of Like, brother, you
- 2:06:39Speaker 2: better turn that those crosshairs on yourself before you start
- 2:06:42Speaker 2: throwing them at other people. You really kind of have
- 2:06:44Speaker 2: to look at it like poison. You really kind of
- 2:06:47Speaker 2: have to look at those emotions like poison, like you
- 2:06:50Speaker 2: have to get them out of you to make yourself better.
- 2:06:52Speaker 2: It's almost like purging that stuff so that you, like
- 2:06:56Speaker 2: when you're sick, like when you get nauseous, you make
- 2:06:58Speaker 2: yourself throw up, you can feel better, even if it's
- 2:07:01Speaker 2: just for a few minutes before you get noxious again,
- 2:07:03Speaker 2: when you hold emotions like that. I used to hold
- 2:07:05Speaker 2: a lot of bitterness in my heart and I was, yeah,
- 2:07:08Speaker 2: I really did. I I held a ton of bitterness
- 2:07:11Speaker 2: in my heart for many years. And I have a
- 2:07:13Speaker 2: buddy that did the same thing. And I let that
- 2:07:17Speaker 2: go probably about five years ago, I just kind of
- 2:07:19Speaker 2: decided to myself, it's not really serving any purpose in
- 2:07:22Speaker 2: my life. The bitterness that I had wasn't really paying
- 2:07:27Speaker 2: off in any way, shape or form. And since that day,
- 2:07:30Speaker 2: it's been way better, way better. And I think you've
- 2:07:33Speaker 2: provided a great service for a lot of people out
- 2:07:34Speaker 2: there today. I appreciate that. I just I'm fine with
- 2:07:39Speaker 2: talking about emotions momentum. Morey, you're you're going to not
- 2:07:43Speaker 2: be here one day.
- 2:07:44Speaker 3: Uh, make the most of it.
- 2:07:47Speaker 2: Well you are, And let me tell you something. The
- 2:07:49Speaker 2: one truth thing, I don't know if the sea lane,
- 2:07:51Speaker 2: the felony, I don't know if he said anything to
- 2:07:53Speaker 2: you about this. Sorry did he say?
- 2:07:56Speaker 17: You know?
- 2:07:56Speaker 2: I mean, like, look, man, that the whole time thing
- 2:07:59Speaker 2: like you're on a you're on a ticker because when
- 2:08:01Speaker 2: your kids get to be like eleven, twelve, thirteen years
- 2:08:04Speaker 2: old and they start meeting friends and stuff, you're the
- 2:08:06Speaker 2: coolest person in the world one day and the other
- 2:08:09Speaker 2: day you're the guy who gives me a ride to
- 2:08:11Speaker 2: the skating rink. And that happens way faster than you think.
- 2:08:14Speaker 10: Now.
- 2:08:14Speaker 2: The thing about that that people don't tell you about
- 2:08:17Speaker 2: is is they never don't like you. You just don't
- 2:08:20Speaker 2: fit their thing of cool anymore. You don't really fit
- 2:08:23Speaker 2: into their world of their new world. I mean, you're
- 2:08:26Speaker 2: your dad now, but you're not super dad like they were,
- 2:08:30Speaker 2: like you were when he was six or seven, when
- 2:08:31Speaker 2: you guys were fishing or playing golf. Still loves you,
- 2:08:35Speaker 2: like I mean, it's I know, I made a deal
- 2:08:38Speaker 2: with myself already since you know walking through that doorway.
- 2:08:43Speaker 2: Was that before this trip, there were plenty of times,
- 2:08:46Speaker 2: an embarrassing amount of times my son absolutely loves me.
- 2:08:50Speaker 2: He is obsessed, yeah, but to the point of like
- 2:08:53Speaker 2: he wants to touch my chest. He wants to touch me,
- 2:08:56Speaker 2: he wants to just holds my back to he just
- 2:09:02Speaker 2: he likes grabbing my four chest hairs like and there's
- 2:09:06Speaker 2: always contact. And in the past especially, I would say
- 2:09:10Speaker 2: in the last six months, I've caught myself getting frustrated
- 2:09:13Speaker 2: or annoyed by like.
- 2:09:14Speaker 5: Just like.
- 2:09:16Speaker 2: Yeah, a little bit like not now and then and
- 2:09:21Speaker 2: you know, leaving him and then coming back. It's the
- 2:09:23Speaker 2: only thing I would have wanted for the rest of
- 2:09:27Speaker 2: my life and still do. So I kind of made
- 2:09:28Speaker 2: a promise with myself, is that he can't annoy me anymore.
- 2:09:32Speaker 2: I have to change my perspective there. There should never
- 2:09:35Speaker 2: be a moment of annoyance because it's just affection. And
- 2:09:41Speaker 2: boy did I miss it. I mean to have somebody
- 2:09:44Speaker 2: that looks at you like a hero. Yeah, I mean
- 2:09:46Speaker 2: that's what your kids look at you like. You know,
- 2:09:48Speaker 2: you're their hero middle school?
- 2:09:49Speaker 13: Right?
- 2:09:50Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah until about No, No, you'll still be their hero.
- 2:09:53Speaker 2: They just won't tell you. They'll say hero, but it
- 2:09:56Speaker 2: will sound more like ahole or a nerdy, douchebag, or
- 2:10:01Speaker 2: any of those words will fit there. But I mean,
- 2:10:03Speaker 2: that's what it'll sound like. I'm not looking forward to
- 2:10:05Speaker 2: those times, which is also the gasoline tank for me,
- 2:10:10Speaker 2: being obsessed with these times. All over it be fine.
- 2:10:13Speaker 2: I think you'll be fine. You guys, I know we've
- 2:10:15Speaker 2: talked about. I don't know, how are you guys thinking?
- 2:10:19Speaker 2: What about a second? Yeah? Yeah, the percentage but when
- 2:10:23Speaker 2: he was four months old was probably at two percent.
- 2:10:26Speaker 2: And I don't know if you should be happy or proud,
- 2:10:28Speaker 2: but that percentage is not at two percent when we
- 2:10:31Speaker 2: were I was in the trenches. That is a newborn.
- 2:10:34Speaker 2: I would say that's probably as of right now, being
- 2:10:37Speaker 2: as honest as I can, probably a coin flip. Oh really,
- 2:10:41Speaker 2: I would say, how does she feel about that she
- 2:10:43Speaker 2: won another check that I would think that she probably
- 2:10:46Speaker 2: wants more than a coin flip, But friendly reminder that
- 2:10:50Speaker 2: number started off at two percent. Y yeah, yeah, fifty.
- 2:10:57Speaker 4: And the thing that you have to always remember that
- 2:11:00Speaker 4: changes could and the calculus that you're always doing is Okay,
- 2:11:04Speaker 4: if it's now, their age difference will be this, yeah.
- 2:11:08Speaker 4: And because depending on that gap, will I play into
- 2:11:12Speaker 4: the type of relationship they have with each other.
- 2:11:15Speaker 2: And and if I'm being the thousand percent honest, I'll
- 2:11:18Speaker 2: even tell you the same exact thing that I told
- 2:11:20Speaker 2: my wife when it comes to a second child, which
- 2:11:23Speaker 2: is off of you know, call it two years right now.
- 2:11:27Speaker 2: The only reason why I want to have a second
- 2:11:31Speaker 2: kid is because of the experience of having my brother
- 2:11:36Speaker 2: be my brother. Oh y yeah, and what that was like.
- 2:11:39Speaker 2: I am solely it would not be for me. There's
- 2:11:42Speaker 2: a huge part of having that first child. It's that
- 2:11:45Speaker 2: and free labor the first A huge part of having
- 2:11:48Speaker 2: that first kid is honestly a lot of selfish reasons.
- 2:11:51Speaker 2: I want to experience this. I want to know what
- 2:11:53Speaker 2: it's like. I want to raise a human. I I
- 2:11:56Speaker 2: but that second kid, if he or she happened. I mean,
- 2:12:01Speaker 2: ninety plus percent of that experiences for my first child,
- 2:12:06Speaker 2: giving them that sibling experience. And there's nothing wrong with
- 2:12:09Speaker 2: feeling that way. There's nothing wrong with it. Yeah, nothing
- 2:12:12Speaker 2: wrong with that at all. I think if you asked
- 2:12:14Speaker 2: my wife, and if you asked my buddy Daniel and
- 2:12:16Speaker 2: other people who grew up as only children, and they
- 2:12:18Speaker 2: would probably tell you they would have loved to have
- 2:12:20Speaker 2: had a brother or sister to be around. I know
- 2:12:23Speaker 2: that my wife would have, you know, to be honest
- 2:12:25Speaker 2: with you, I don't know if we ever had that conversation.
- 2:12:27Speaker 2: I know that she said that when she grew up,
- 2:12:28Speaker 2: she was lonely a lot because they traveled, They moved
- 2:12:32Speaker 2: around a lot, they moved to different places. So that
- 2:12:34Speaker 2: means that every time she went to a school she
- 2:12:36Speaker 2: had to make new friends, and those friends were going
- 2:12:38Speaker 2: to be lasting eight months and they were going to
- 2:12:40Speaker 2: move again, So she didn't have anybody to have those
- 2:12:43Speaker 2: experiences with. She was having them like Groundhog Day every
- 2:12:46Speaker 2: year up until she was I think fourteen years old. Wow,
- 2:12:50Speaker 2: so you know, and then Daniels the other way. Daniel
- 2:12:53Speaker 2: was in a very stable house with a loving mom
- 2:12:54Speaker 2: and a loving dad. And he had also friends a
- 2:12:58Speaker 2: family that provided him the idea of like having sisters.
- 2:13:01Speaker 2: I believe they were like three girls or cousins that
- 2:13:03Speaker 2: lived in the neighborhood that he spent a lot of
- 2:13:05Speaker 2: time with. But man, I think that's important. I really do.
- 2:13:08Speaker 2: I mean, I'm not saying you have another child because
- 2:13:10Speaker 2: of that, but I do believe that. But that's the
- 2:13:13Speaker 2: main entree of the thought going into a second child
- 2:13:16Speaker 2: is yeah, man, And I'm also afraid, Like I hear
- 2:13:20Speaker 2: that the heart grows if you have a second kid,
- 2:13:23Speaker 2: But I've also like, I'm so afraid of having a
- 2:13:25Speaker 2: second kid because like, I love my son so much
- 2:13:28Speaker 2: right now, and there's only so much bandwidth in a day. Yeah,
- 2:13:30Speaker 2: I'm fully aware of but but kids usually love the
- 2:13:35Speaker 2: other kid. And yeah, I think it's dependent on when
- 2:13:37Speaker 2: you have them. Like, I mean, he's two now. He
- 2:13:40Speaker 2: would kind of understand because by the time you if
- 2:13:43Speaker 2: you guys were to get pregnant before the end of
- 2:13:45Speaker 2: the year, I mean, it would still be next year.
- 2:13:47Speaker 2: He would still be fully three years old before you know,
- 2:13:50Speaker 2: the next baby came along, and and you know, cognizantly,
- 2:13:54Speaker 2: if you think about it. Also, the gap is important
- 2:13:56Speaker 2: by my sister and my gap are is the worst gap.
- 2:14:00Speaker 2: It's like four years. That means when I'm going out
- 2:14:02Speaker 2: of school, she's coming into school. Yeah, and you know,
- 2:14:05Speaker 2: when I'm fourteen, she's ten. You know, so we don't
- 2:14:08Speaker 2: have anything in common at any point in our relationship,
- 2:14:11Speaker 2: and it chose to this day. We're not not super
- 2:14:13Speaker 2: close because of that. I love her dearly. She's awesome person,
- 2:14:16Speaker 2: but you know, we don't really you know, and I
- 2:14:19Speaker 2: think maybe that's because that time gap. But the gap
- 2:14:21Speaker 2: between you and your brother five and a half years, yeah,
- 2:14:25Speaker 2: and then and my brother is my world. Yeah. But
- 2:14:30Speaker 2: you guys also became a team because of your dad,
- 2:14:32Speaker 2: right yeah, yeah, a little bit. I became a team
- 2:14:35Speaker 2: with all of the neighborhood friends and then they showed
- 2:14:38Speaker 2: me how to shave. And it was my friend's parents
- 2:14:41Speaker 2: that also were like, hey, I heard this kid is
- 2:14:43Speaker 2: weird and his dad passed, let's give him a home.
- 2:14:46Speaker 2: So like I crashed over at a lot of random friends,
- 2:14:49Speaker 2: families and homes. Yeah, but you're you're the uh, you're
- 2:14:54Speaker 2: the bonus kids, the bonus kid for about four different families. Yeah, right,
- 2:15:00Speaker 2: seven nine six four one text us at seven seven
- 2:15:04Speaker 2: zero three to one real quick before we get out
- 2:15:06Speaker 2: of here today. Back to FIFA soccer. One other thing
- 2:15:10Speaker 2: that's getting sold out there. Have you guys heard about
- 2:15:13Speaker 2: the them selling pieces of the field, No, which field, Jersey,
- 2:15:19Speaker 2: New York. Yeah, it says a FIFA. FIFA, Well they
- 2:15:22Speaker 2: still need that one for Sunday. FIFA is selling pieces
- 2:15:26Speaker 2: of grass field from New York, New Jersey after the final.
- 2:15:30Speaker 2: All right, So that means when they when they get
- 2:15:32Speaker 2: done with the match on Sunday, they're gonna, guess, cut
- 2:15:35Speaker 2: that field up in the segments and they're gonna sell
- 2:15:39Speaker 2: segments of that field. So you, in other words, you
- 2:15:41Speaker 2: may get a piece of the field that Lionel Messi
- 2:15:44Speaker 2: played on his very last game of the very last
- 2:15:46Speaker 2: World Cup. How much do you think they are? Oh god,
- 2:15:50Speaker 2: I hope they're like one hundred bucks. Not a dollar.
- 2:15:53Speaker 2: I hope they're like twenty bucks. How many is set?
- 2:15:55Speaker 2: How far? What is seventeen centimeters? Like, guys in inches
- 2:15:59Speaker 2: and stuff?
- 2:16:00Speaker 5: What is that like?
- 2:16:01Speaker 2: Woh, but I don't know. Six inches, I don't know.
- 2:16:04Speaker 2: Figure it out for me real good. This American mind
- 2:16:06Speaker 2: can't comprehend two point five fours in an inch six
- 2:16:09Speaker 2: point six seventeen centimeters and yeah inches, so six and
- 2:16:13Speaker 2: a half inches or so. So the squares are gonna
- 2:16:15Speaker 2: be six and a half by six and a half,
- 2:16:18Speaker 2: all right, they're gonna come from the field. All right,
- 2:16:21Speaker 2: that's a piece of history. You can get it. How
- 2:16:24Speaker 2: much do you believe that they're charging for a piece
- 2:16:27Speaker 2: of the World Cup field that Lionel Messi will play
- 2:16:30Speaker 2: his very last World Cup on.
- 2:16:32Speaker 4: Well, considering the price of tickets, I will say it's
- 2:16:36Speaker 4: gonna be a lot.
- 2:16:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna go three hundred dollars. Oh five, four hundred
- 2:16:44Speaker 2: and fifty dollars. Don't do that, four hundred and fifty dollars.
- 2:16:49Speaker 2: The site says you can own a genuine piece of
- 2:16:51Speaker 2: football history with an authentic twenty twenty six feet a
- 2:16:54Speaker 2: World Cup piece of the pitch permanently preserved in a
- 2:16:58Speaker 2: premium acrylic with a US be keepsake. Each pace contains
- 2:17:02Speaker 2: an original fragment of the iconic final playing surface, making
- 2:17:06Speaker 2: it a unique collectible that celebrates one of the world's
- 2:17:09Speaker 2: greatest sporting events. Each piece will be seventeen by seventeen
- 2:17:14Speaker 2: by seventeen centimeters and They're only available for shipping to
- 2:17:16Speaker 2: addresses in the US, the UK, and Europe gonna ship
- 2:17:22Speaker 2: them out after the nineteen So after the game Sunday,
- 2:17:24Speaker 2: they're gonna slice it up, package it and off it goes.
- 2:17:27Speaker 2: This seems like a just a money because it was
- 2:17:32Speaker 2: it's in MetLife Stadium, right, yeah, right. MetLife Stadium is
- 2:17:36Speaker 2: infamous for torn acls. Oh, this is this the same field?
- 2:17:41Speaker 5: Jack?
- 2:17:42Speaker 2: Yes and no, but they changed that field right because
- 2:17:44Speaker 2: they had that artificial turf that was straight dangerous when
- 2:17:46Speaker 2: we were there. They did when we were there.
- 2:17:48Speaker 4: It was when they put down real grass, but we
- 2:17:51Speaker 4: were there in February and it was frozen ats, hard
- 2:17:54Speaker 4: frozen chunks. That was a giant stadium since sid MetLife
- 2:17:58Speaker 4: Stadium is like built the parking lot there, so's it's
- 2:18:02Speaker 4: the same area, not the exact same field. But I
- 2:18:06Speaker 4: looked it up when I saw them playing in Dallas
- 2:18:08Speaker 4: because I'm like, wait, a second, soccer will only play
- 2:18:11Speaker 4: on real turf and a lot of these dome stadiums
- 2:18:15Speaker 4: are artificial, right, But FIFA is they'll play on real
- 2:18:20Speaker 4: turf or hybrid turf. So it's this hybrid and that's
- 2:18:24Speaker 4: what is at Mercedes Benz Stadium as well, right now,
- 2:18:27Speaker 4: I believe.
- 2:18:28Speaker 2: So it's a hybrid turf. How's it hybrid? Is it
- 2:18:31Speaker 2: grass and artificial? I've seen it, and I want to say,
- 2:18:34Speaker 2: I don't want to step on any toast here, but
- 2:18:36Speaker 2: this hybrid turf is like the modern it's what is
- 2:18:41Speaker 2: mostly used, I believe. Don't shoot the messenger here, but
- 2:18:44Speaker 2: I want to say Inner and Co. Orlando City, that's
- 2:18:47Speaker 2: a hybrid as well. Now is that the one where
- 2:18:49Speaker 2: they put in the rubber beads, like when they put
- 2:18:52Speaker 2: the when they put the surface down, they spread the
- 2:18:53Speaker 2: rubber beads on it and it gives you like this
- 2:18:55Speaker 2: weird soil like feel or whatever. That is just on
- 2:18:58Speaker 2: artificial turf for that reson. But like on the hybrid turf,
- 2:19:03Speaker 2: you can see like on the outside you'll see turf
- 2:19:07Speaker 2: and then slowly, all of a sudden, just clicking the
- 2:19:09Speaker 2: real glass. Oh got yeah, So the real grass is
- 2:19:13Speaker 2: interacting with the turf. The hybrid turf.
- 2:19:15Speaker 4: It consists of Kentucky bluegrass and rye grass mixture grown
- 2:19:19Speaker 4: into a base layer of synthetic fibers.
- 2:19:22Speaker 2: Oh, I see. So they make the base to the
- 2:19:24Speaker 2: point where the grass grows them between it makes the
- 2:19:26Speaker 2: root structure stronger. That's probably exactly what it is. It's
- 2:19:30Speaker 2: fascinating stuff. Greg Norman actually came up with a grass
- 2:19:33Speaker 2: idea for that years ago for golf courses and it
- 2:19:35Speaker 2: bombed because the matrix that was underneath wasn't wasn't right,
- 2:19:39Speaker 2: and it couldn't take the pressure being walked on without
- 2:19:41Speaker 2: giving way. So the hybrid gives you the playability benefits
- 2:19:45Speaker 2: of real grass, but the structural stability and traction of
- 2:19:50Speaker 2: artificial turf, which is reinforced by the stadiums, built in
- 2:19:54Speaker 2: drainage and system. Very cool, mane. Everyone that I've been
- 2:20:00Speaker 2: talking to in the past when it comes to hybrid,
- 2:20:02Speaker 2: real astro turf and all that is, hybrid is the future. Yeah,
- 2:20:06Speaker 2: the way love that. That sounds great. I haven't even
- 2:20:08Speaker 2: like I've not heard of that before, So that's cool.
- 2:20:10Speaker 2: I first heard about it when I was in anfields
- 2:20:12Speaker 2: going through a Liverpool Oh really tour and they're like this, Brandon,
- 2:20:16Speaker 2: all right, you got what's coming up for You heard
- 2:20:19Speaker 2: it here first?
- 2:20:19Speaker 8: Yeah, Orange County Explorer Solutions for a better Warehouse Oversight,
- 2:20:23Speaker 8: Florida wraps up Operations, Southern slow Down and Buffalo Wild
- 2:20:27Speaker 8: Wings introduces a product you probably don't want or neat,
- 2:20:32Speaker 8: but we're gonna tell you about it anyway.
- 2:20:34Speaker 3: Next during you heard it here.
- 2:20:35Speaker 2: First, you gotta take a little break. We'll come back

- 2:20:50Speaker 19: you dog, Yeah, man, fatherhood is tough, but it's also
- 2:20:57Speaker 19: very special.
- 2:20:59Speaker 2: That's all.
- 2:20:59Speaker 5: I love you guys.
- 2:21:01Speaker 2: Seeybuddy, thank you so much. We love you too. Man.

- 2:21:47Speaker 2: chance at one thousand dollars. Don't forget Tom and Dan
- 2:21:49Speaker 2: have a couple um actually three, and we'll start it
- 2:21:53Speaker 2: back up Monday morning at nine with the monsters.
- 2:21:57Speaker 3: We want a winner.
- 2:21:58Speaker 2: Yeah, what are you guys doing this? Anything good?
- 2:22:01Speaker 3: My brother is in town?
- 2:22:02Speaker 2: Oh nice?
- 2:22:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I haven't seen him since the wedding.
- 2:22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, tell me said, hey, I will What a solid
- 2:22:06Speaker 2: cat man. I wish I had some more time to
- 2:22:07Speaker 2: spend with him. Actually cool, Jackson. What are you doing
- 2:22:11Speaker 2: laser Floyd at the Orlando Science Center? Very nice? I
- 2:22:14Speaker 2: expect a full report on that, Yes, sir, Monday morning.
- 2:22:17Speaker 2: Sawadd got an amazing family day at the house tomorrow,
- 2:22:21Speaker 2: and then I've got a comedy show tomorrow night. It's
- 2:22:23Speaker 2: sold out. I don't want to bring it up. There's
- 2:22:25Speaker 2: no tickets left. You just brought it up and sold out.
- 2:22:27Speaker 2: You're such a flexer. My bad. But then Sunday World
- 2:22:30Speaker 2: Cup Final? Yeah were you watching it?
- 2:22:32Speaker 3: That?
- 2:22:32Speaker 2: Probably at my house with a beer and a child.
- 2:22:35Speaker 2: Very nice, very nice. I'll give him one two? What
- 2:22:38Speaker 2: time is kick three? Three o'clock? Perfect?
- 2:22:41Speaker 5: Man?
- 2:22:41Speaker 2: So he was so weird getting just absolutely blitz kreeg
- 2:22:45Speaker 2: at three o'clock on a Wednesday. I was telling Dead,
- 2:22:48Speaker 2: Like after the final whistle blue, I took a step
- 2:22:50Speaker 2: down the stairs to leave, and I was like, I
- 2:22:52Speaker 2: think I might die. I gotta go to the bathroom.
- 2:22:55Speaker 2: My favorite thing in the world is day drinking. I
- 2:22:57Speaker 2: don't know what it is about. Three weeks ago and
- 2:23:01Speaker 2: her best friend set out and we like, we did
- 2:23:03Speaker 2: a bunch of work in the morning, and we just
- 2:23:04Speaker 2: made it a point. We're leaving here at twelve thirty
- 2:23:07Speaker 2: and we are going day drinking. We skipped around Lake
- 2:23:09Speaker 2: County to every little bar and joint, having a beer here,
- 2:23:13Speaker 2: drink there was absolutely the greatest Well if you loved,
- 2:23:18Speaker 2: if you love day drinking, wait till you get a
- 2:23:21Speaker 2: hold of this partying stuff on midweek. Okay, Yeah, the
- 2:23:24Speaker 2: fact that today is Friday is such a curveball for me,
- 2:23:27Speaker 2: wild right, because I had the weekend in the middle
- 2:23:30Speaker 2: of the week. Yeah, yeah, ye, and then the dep
- 2:23:33Speaker 2: What are you doing this weekend? You said your brother's
- 2:23:34Speaker 2: gonna be down anything else? Yeah, yeah, just chilling out.
- 2:23:36Speaker 3: Yeah, just especially with the weather. Just looking for a
- 2:23:39Speaker 3: relaxing weekend.
- 2:23:40Speaker 2: Same here, We're working around the house. I'm playing golf
- 2:23:42Speaker 2: early Sunday morning. Hopefully we can get around in and
- 2:23:44Speaker 2: then again just tooling around the property. Got a cup
- 2:23:47Speaker 2: the yard and stuff all that. I'll never forget this
- 2:23:50Speaker 2: one thing that Jim said to me years and years ago,
- 2:23:53Speaker 2: and it has never left me yet. I love it
- 2:23:56Speaker 2: and I feel like this is your motto. We were
- 2:23:59Speaker 2: it was a Saturday. We were at a bar where
- 2:24:00Speaker 2: watching a UFC mansion. We had a couple of beers
- 2:24:03Speaker 2: in us like, this is not a one beer buzz conversation.
- 2:24:06Speaker 2: We've got three or four this could and you go Ross.
- 2:24:10Speaker 2: It's the American way. Work your balls off Monday through
- 2:24:13Speaker 2: Friday and do the opposite on the weekend. Exactly.
- 2:24:18Speaker 18: I say.
- 2:24:19Speaker 2: It was awesome, all right, Dad, let's do you heard
- 2:24:22Speaker 2: it here? Four good time for.
- 2:24:25Speaker 10: You heard it here first on the Jim Colbert Show.
- 2:24:28Speaker 8: And be smart like Jack and get your tickets to
- 2:24:31Speaker 8: Stellar Knights at Orlando Science Center now through August. First
- 2:24:34Speaker 8: you can see the total lineup and grab your tickets
- 2:24:36Speaker 8: at osc dot or It's a must, man, it really is.
- 2:24:39Speaker 8: Just make sure you get there early because they've been very,
- 2:24:42Speaker 8: very popular.
- 2:24:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:24:44Speaker 8: Orange County is working to make changes to how it
- 2:24:46Speaker 8: conducts warehouse inspections following two tragedies, including a warehouse illegally
- 2:24:51Speaker 8: storing fireworks that caught fire, killing four in twenty twenty two,
- 2:24:55Speaker 8: and then this year a tragedy where at least fifty
- 2:24:58Speaker 8: six sloths and for a planned attraction died while being
- 2:25:02Speaker 8: housed in an unheated, unpermitted warehouse. Fox thirty five spoke
- 2:25:06Speaker 8: to Orange County Commissioner Michael Scott about a partnership between
- 2:25:09Speaker 8: law enforcement, code enforcement, and other agencies.
- 2:25:13Speaker 12: I think the biggest thing is communication. What happens is
- 2:25:16Speaker 12: someone will go and do an inspection. Hey, it's not
- 2:25:18Speaker 12: a partner passing on. But if we're meeting collectively monthly,
- 2:25:21Speaker 12: that usually alleviates the problem because then we work in
- 2:25:24Speaker 12: concert one another.
- 2:25:25Speaker 8: So in addition, Orange County Fire Rescue says they've nearly
- 2:25:27Speaker 8: tripled staffing for its occupancy inspection program to strictly comply
- 2:25:32Speaker 8: with the state mandate.
- 2:25:33Speaker 2: They give you the idea how things how slowing things
- 2:25:36Speaker 2: move in politics. That happened in twenty twenty two, twenty two,
- 2:25:39Speaker 2: the four years just to pass legislation so that you
- 2:25:42Speaker 2: would inspect warehouses differently.
- 2:25:44Speaker 3: And it took just these six animals dying, just as.
- 2:25:47Speaker 2: A perspective, of giving the night. How slow that machine moves?
- 2:25:50Speaker 2: Uh Messi's almost won a second World Cup.
- 2:25:54Speaker 8: Operations Southern Slow Down will run through the weekend. It's
- 2:25:58Speaker 8: a multi state effort to crack on speeders and agressive drivers.
- 2:26:02Speaker 8: Folks can expect to see more Florida Highway Patrol troopers
- 2:26:05Speaker 8: except good luck trying to identify with vehicles they're driving,
- 2:26:09Speaker 8: and local officers on interstates at major highways through Saturday.
- 2:26:13Speaker 8: I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I've
- 2:26:15Speaker 8: noticed a much bigger uptick in troopers on my drive
- 2:26:18Speaker 8: into and back home from where.
- 2:26:20Speaker 2: Have you guys noticed it? Jack? Have you noticed it
- 2:26:22Speaker 2: out there in your area? Definitely? How about you Ross?
- 2:26:24Speaker 2: No man? In Lake County? It has been crazy. I
- 2:26:28Speaker 2: actuallywhere out there.
- 2:26:32Speaker 8: I had to move out of the way the other
- 2:26:34Speaker 8: day for a police vehicle that was a Dodge Mini
- 2:26:37Speaker 8: van as somebody said. They use those for raids really apparently,
- 2:26:41Speaker 8: because you can get five six people in Oh.
- 2:26:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yahs, you got to look cute and wholesome.
- 2:26:45Speaker 8: And then, finally, Buffalo Wild Wings is living up to
- 2:26:50Speaker 8: its name with its latest menu addition, Ought to see
- 2:26:54Speaker 8: You in Jail. The restaurant chain unveiled Pop and Ranch
- 2:26:58Speaker 8: this week. The powdered shakeable Ranch additive is made with
- 2:27:03Speaker 8: popping candy that gives it quote a burst of ranch
- 2:27:06Speaker 8: flavor followed by an audible pop and crackle with every
- 2:27:10Speaker 8: bite quote.
- 2:27:11Speaker 2: It's ranch, pop rocks, It's range cocaine.
- 2:27:13Speaker 8: Pop and Ranch will be released in restaurants starting Monday,
- 2:27:16Speaker 8: July twentieth, and will cost ninety nine cents per packet.
- 2:27:20Speaker 8: The launch comes just in time for National Chicken Wing
- 2:27:23Speaker 8: Day on July twenty ninth, where Buffalo Wild Wings is
- 2:27:26Speaker 8: giving away free wings with any fifteen dollars purchase.
- 2:27:29Speaker 3: What say you, guys? Would you like to try some
- 2:27:32Speaker 3: Pop and Ranch?
- 2:27:34Speaker 2: No, but they just missed the bulk of the World
- 2:27:37Speaker 2: Cup crowd. Who would love to take it?
- 2:27:39Speaker 3: I know exactly perfect time I goes either way. You
- 2:27:42Speaker 3: heard it here first on the Jim Colbert Show, these
- 2:27:46Speaker 3: guys known for their acumen.
- 2:27:49Speaker 2: I would try it, but it's got to come with
- 2:27:50Speaker 2: one of those McDonald's spoons. Yeah, that's fair. Who do
- 2:27:55Speaker 2: we have to think to that?
- 2:27:56Speaker 5: Well?
- 2:27:56Speaker 8: We want to thank Attorney Mo du Wet for making
- 2:27:58Speaker 8: our Friday Suday. Speaking of Saucy, want to thank Elixer
- 2:28:02Speaker 8: for our week's worth of delicious lunch.
- 2:28:05Speaker 3: Thank you so much, Alixer.
- 2:28:06Speaker 2: Oh good cheese seake today.
- 2:28:08Speaker 3: That roll was delicious, so can Caesar salad.
- 2:28:11Speaker 4: By the way, Yeah, have price cheeseburgers and wings Mondays
- 2:28:14Speaker 4: for lunch at Alixer.
- 2:28:15Speaker 8: And don't forget Alixer would also be your great spot

- 2:28:21Speaker 8: also want to thank Corona Cigar Company. You definitely want

- 2:28:49Speaker 2: Yeah, you guys have a good weekend. Thank you as always.
- 2:28:51Speaker 2: Jack question, oh the day.
- 2:28:53Speaker 4: How much would you pay for a bucket list sporting
- 2:28:55Speaker 4: or music event? Remember the choices were one thousand dollars.
- 2:29:00Speaker 4: Max between one and two k, between two and five
- 2:29:03Speaker 4: k or more. I'd say the most of the people
- 2:29:06Speaker 4: say between one and two thousand dollars. Most people said
- 2:29:09Speaker 4: one thousand dollars max. That was fifty six percent. Then
- 2:29:12Speaker 4: it was between one and two Yeah, more than five thousand,
- 2:29:18Speaker 4: slightly edged out between two and five thousand, twelve percent
- 2:29:22Speaker 4: to eleven percent.
- 2:29:23Speaker 19: Day.
- 2:29:23Speaker 2: Really that's crazy.
- 2:29:24Speaker 8: Now do you get extra points if you spend that
- 2:29:26Speaker 8: money for someone else's bucket list?
- 2:29:28Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 2:29:28Speaker 3: You do?
- 2:29:28Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, for sure, Okay, good, all right, that's what
