- 0:00SPEAKER_03: Welcome back to the Reborn Podcast.
- 0:02SPEAKER_03: This is Tony Boutros.
- 0:03SPEAKER_03: In the Reborn Podcast, we have the opportunity to bridge the gap between faith and business.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: And I have the honor of sitting down with one of the people that I think does that best.
- 0:14SPEAKER_03: That I'm blessed to call a friend, a mentor, one of the most generous people I know, Alex Gator, who is an ambassador for Everbowl, big in business buying and selling, building businesses, building systems, and building people.
- 0:32SPEAKER_03: More than anything, a child of God.
- 0:34SPEAKER_03: So Alex, thank you for being here.
- 0:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thanks for having me.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Excited for you, excited for the show, and love what you're building, brother.
- 0:41SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 0:42SPEAKER_03: I'm excited as well.
- 0:48SPEAKER_03: Tony, how are you course?
- 0:50SPEAKER_03: Thank you for having me.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: Specifically, I'm thinking about bowls and business.
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: Also a place where you get to bring people together to discuss bulls.
- 1:08SPEAKER_03: Everbowl.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: Shout out to Everbowl.
- 1:11SPEAKER_03: Business, which is also Everbowl.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: Kind of neat that those go hand in hand.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: And Faith.
- 1:18SPEAKER_03: Tell me a little bit about you, your journey, your um testimony, where you came from, and how you got to this this table to Yeah, absolutely.
- 1:26SPEAKER_00: Well, my wife, my wife, uh Kelly and I have been married for um 22 years, I believe.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Quinn will have to correct that if I'm wrong.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: We could fix that in post.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: But uh we've been married for 22 years, four boys.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Um Mason's 21, Owen's 19, Mr.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Quinn over here is 17, and Augie is seven years old.
- 1:47SPEAKER_00: Um personally, I grew up in a small uh United Methodist church.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: Typically, there was 20 to 30 people there every Sunday.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: Um, but we were there every Sunday.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: We would walk to church a lot of times, but that's really where a lot of my foundational um serving the church, serving the community was born through my parents being just super involved in the church.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: It was like every week, every weekend my older brother and I were acolytes, we were ushers, uh, we would um count the people.
- 2:16SPEAKER_00: Uh so we were we were serving in the church every weekend, and my parents were, you know, greeters or sometimes they were worship leaders.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Um now, worship leader at that church was like they were just the people up there telling them what hymnal to sing.
- 2:27SPEAKER_00: They weren't like, you know, singers.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, mom and dad, you have a great voice, but they weren't leaving worship or anything.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Uh so we just grew up in that small church, and um really, you know, that's where my foundational start began.
- 2:39SPEAKER_00: And then um when Kelly and I got married um 22 years ago, we were both desiring to bring the boys up in a Christian home, get into a good local church, and um just uh, you know, have always always been involved in the local church.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: But really, I would say it was when we came out to Indiana about 12 years ago is really when we started to go deep with the Lord.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: And that came in relationships and small groups with people where you could have deeper conversations.
- 3:06SPEAKER_00: It's like, what does this mean?
- 3:07SPEAKER_00: Like what is what is the Bible trying to say here, right?
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Instead of just kind of receiving from the stage, like getting in relationships with people to have deeper conversations.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: And I think for Kelly and I, that's really where our faith um exploded and started to grow.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: We really have always had a heart for hosting.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: Um, we've had 13 different people live with us um while we've been in both Ohio and Indiana.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, through that, we've raised our boys in kind of an environment where they were involved in the church, serving the church, going to lots of church events, um, but then also just seeing people where there are and serving people relationally, where it's like if somebody needs some a place to stay for a while, they would come crash with us.
- 3:50SPEAKER_00: So just trying to be the hands and feet of Jesus as much as we possibly can.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: There's a lot to unpack.
- 3:57SPEAKER_03: I will start in the beginning.
- 3:59SPEAKER_03: So that church that you went to growing up, what was your walk with the Lord like?
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: What was your relationship with the Lord?
- 4:06SPEAKER_03: What did you have a relationship?
- 4:08SPEAKER_03: I know a lot of people that grow up in the church, it's more or less for the first 15, 20 years, like their parents' right uh relationship with the Lord.
- 4:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:17SPEAKER_03: That they're like putting on the kids, but yeah.
- 4:19SPEAKER_00: I I would say it was um my personal relationship with the Lord would have been something that started 10 to 12 years ago.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: And it and it wasn't a I didn't get any bad examples in the church that I grew up in.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: There just wasn't that um that deep relational uh the teaching on like, hey, here's how you connect, here's here, here's how you hear the voice of God, here's how to be inspired by scripture, here's you know, that, that type of thing.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: So um it was a very just had some tremendous uh people that are in heaven now that I I still look up to and I still remember their prayers.
- 4:54SPEAKER_00: Um so it was like just a great foundational small town church, right?
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And I'm sure there was a lot of ministry that was going on that as a kid that I didn't know about, that I didn't see, um uh, you know, as far as more on the spiritual nature.
- 5:08SPEAKER_00: But it was just, it was a lot of teaching.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: It was a lot of foundational teaching.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: But yeah, the the my relationship with the Lord really, I'd say it really exploded uh towards the end of 2019.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: Um, and and going backwards from there, uh the church that I was attending, you know, Mason McDonald, owner of Noble Coffee, he and I have been, you know, getting in trouble together for for 10 years now, doing marketplace ministry together.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Um, and we I used to go to him and say, hey, the church should do more for the business community.
- 5:38SPEAKER_00: And I would be challenging him on that.
- 5:39SPEAKER_00: And he eventually got to the point who was like, if you wanted something to be done, you should do it yourself.
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: And I was like, well, why don't you do it with me?
- 5:46SPEAKER_00: And we started a small group and it ended up growing to like a weekly.
- 5:48SPEAKER_00: There was like 30 to 40 business owners that would come in there.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And I think in that journey was where I really started to connect with other business owners.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: So, you know, you talked about the like marketplace ministry and and how you know you your your group, you want to be a bridge to that.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: I just think it's so I think there's tons of different evangelistical outreaches.
- 6:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 6:09SPEAKER_00: And what I'm called to is the business community.
- 6:12SPEAKER_00: And um, so I love I love being aligned with you in that where, you know, as business leaders, we we can we can influence money, we can influence people, we can have relationships with local government, right?
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: It's it's you know, we have a lot of potential there.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: And I think it's been kind of put on the shelf uh for a lot of business owners.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: So that's kind of what drives me and motivates me.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: But it was in that journey, in that time when I started it.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: For me, it was just great mentors.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: It was people like Brad Huff, Ray Hilbert, um, you know, that that Eldon Kibbe, uh local local men that I could get face to face with and hear their testimony, hear their stories.
- 6:48SPEAKER_00: That really drove me to want to do more and grow more.
- 6:52SPEAKER_03: What prompted that initially?
- 6:54SPEAKER_03: Did you have a bad experience in the marketplace that was directly almost like opposed to the biblical worldview and just like all about the money and corporation?
- 7:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, not not like um I know a lot of people um like their testimony has like a um like a almost like the tragic turn.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: And then and then and and my mine is not like that.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: Um, but I just I knew and felt that there was more there was more to owning a business than just write like like uh than just making money and helping other people make money.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: So for me, the the it was, you know, whether it was reading leadership books, like you know, I've got some John Maxwell books on the bookshelf somewhere.
- 7:38SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's back here.
- 7:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: Reading John Maxwell books and then understanding that John Maxwell was a pastor.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: John Maxwell is a mighty man of faith.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: And um, understanding how did how did he integrate God into the workplace uh and everything that he did, and just really trying to figure that out.
- 7:56SPEAKER_00: Um, I I um I wanted to be a good steward of the people that I was leading, right?
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: Obviously, the Bible talks a lot about stewarding your money and stewarding your finances.
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: Um, and there's lots of um resources out there for that.
- 8:09SPEAKER_00: But for me, it was really about stewarding the people that God put in front of me and just leading and loving them um the right way.
- 8:17SPEAKER_00: Um so you know, and and then also I heard on a podcast um a guy that was a he was the the the the chairman of the board for one of the Coca-Cola bottling companies franchises.
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: There used to be like 117 of them, and I think there's only like seven or so now.
- 8:33SPEAKER_00: And he was interacting with God one morning in his quiet time, and God said, Well done, good and faithful servant, but when are you gonna start taking care of the employees that I've put in front of you?
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: And that's that's been uh like kind of a guidepost to me as well.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: It's like I just want to steward those well.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: So so it wasn't any type of drastic thing, it was just like a a craving for more in the marketplace.
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: And you know, just coming across people like once again, Ray Hilbert, Brad Huff, that were doing that in such an incredible way was just really inspiring.
- 9:02SPEAKER_03: So and you grew up in Ohio?
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, small town in Ohio called Van Lu.
- 9:07SPEAKER_00: Uh it's a technically a village.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: There's less than 300 people that live there.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: Um, couple of churches, um, public school, K through 12, walk to school.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: We literally lived right next door to the school.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: There was a gas station in town that was about the only commerce in town growing up.
- 9:23SPEAKER_00: Um the little post office in town.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 9:26SPEAKER_03: So what's that dynamic of growing up in such a small town to now raising your family in a bigger town of uh you guys are up in India, Cicero?
- 9:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:36SPEAKER_03: Up in Cicero, Indianapolis, uh, Indiana.
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:39SPEAKER_03: You know, what what's that dynamic been like?
- 9:41SPEAKER_03: What's what was it like growing up?
- 9:42SPEAKER_03: What lessons did you learn that are different now from being in Cicero in a bigger Cicero isn't huge, but yeah.
- 9:49SPEAKER_00: Well, and I I think we put ourselves in a lot of like we have we have big community, right?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: And I I think the for for me and my family, our foundational, like what we do, who we are as the Yader family, is really built on small town America, right?
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: Where it's like we're we're helping our neighbor, we're serving our church.
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: I felt like all the time it was like there was no free Saturday for us because it was like we're waking up and Bob needs help chopping wood.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: So my dad would throw us in the car and we would go over and help him chop wood.
- 10:19SPEAKER_00: So it was like a lot of serving the community that way.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: Like my brother and I, I believe we mowed the church's yard our entire lives growing up, right?
- 10:27SPEAKER_00: We'd mow the church, we'd mow the parsonage, or they might have just let us mow the parsonage because they didn't trust us to mow the church.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: But um, so like learning that, right?
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: When when when somebody would have a need watching the community rally around them.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: So I take those type of principles.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: And the same thing for my wife, she grew up in small town Ohio as well.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Um, we take those principles and that's how we that's how we raise our family, right?
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: So it's like we took more of that small time town mentality.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: And I and I think you see it in really good local community churches as well.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: You know, Victory Tabernacle is an amazing example of that, right?
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: Like it's a yeah, going product placement.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Um, it's it's uh it's a great example of that, right?
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: Our church, Antioch Indy, we we take a lot of, we take a lot of pride in that, you know, we we love what they're doing as as a community.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: So, you know, I could, you know, I could probably go through and name every member of the church growing up and their kids and what did they do and where are they at now because it was a big family, right?
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: We broke bed bread together, we served together.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: So it's that same type of mentality of like slowing things down and you know, raising a family as a family, bringing people in and and and you know, merging them into your family, that type of a mentality.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: And I think I also like that's where the commerce came comes into play as well, where one of my best friends growing up, Randy Phillips, um, we were we've been best friends since second grade when I broke his glasses uh playing football together.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: And um uh I was moving from the Finlay, Ohio area to Columbus, Ohio.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: And like that was it was like the the one of the first times that like people in our friend circle was like leaving home.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: And um Randy, like he probably doesn't even remember it, but like he was like like speaking so much life into me.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: Like, Alex, you're gonna do great things, you're gonna, you know, you're gonna build this, you're gonna do that.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: And it like I just carry that with me all the time where um I saw so much opportunity in the business world, in the business community, and um opportunity to grow businesses, opportunity to lead people, opportunity to give people opportunities.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: That's my favorite thing is to help people like drag out of people that they can own and run a business.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: They just need a really good circle of people around them to help support them.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Um, and and obviously for myself as well, like I just want to keep pushing myself and growing because family legacy is really important to me.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: Cause like I think, you know, I've been I've been asking this question to a lot of fathers.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's like, what does Christianity look like a hundred years from now?
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: And then how's your family gonna be involved in that?
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: And that's scary and challenging.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: Like if you look at like if we were looking at a graph right now uh in America, like I feel like we're trending in the wrong direction.
- 13:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and we we need to do something about that.
- 13:15SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna try to do it through my family, and then you know, I have four sons.
- 13:19SPEAKER_00: Those four sons are gonna get married, they're gonna have kids, and and we are going to continue to grow this family through the local church, through a relationship with God, and through business ownership.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: So, my my um instruction that I got from God uh is that I am to build um, I'm to build wealth to be able to, because God clearly told me it was, it was, it was after a conference, it was Ken Fish conference, uh, where I met Pastor Adam for the first time.
- 13:48SPEAKER_00: Um, I was helping at the conference and got over, I think, like 12:30 on a Saturday night.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: I'm driving home, just thanking God for the amazing weekend because all three of the big boys were there pretty much the entire weekend, and they got to experience and see some really, really awesome stuff.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: And I was just like asking God, what did he want from me, you know, because I was thinking it was more of like going out and doing more ministry, ministry, ministry.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: And and God like clearly told me, He's like, no, build stuff.
- 14:12SPEAKER_00: It's your your boy, build stuff for your family and and you know, build through them, build with them, um, but most importantly, making sure that they're rooted in their relationship with Jesus.
- 14:22SPEAKER_00: So, and um, you know, I think there's lots of different ways uh for us to make a kingdom impact.
- 14:29SPEAKER_00: And just my my wife, um, our ours is through you know, raising our boys to be men of God, great husbands, great fathers, great um community leaders, and if they want to own businesses, helping them to own businesses and make an impact that way, whether they're doing that with us or if they're doing that on their own.
- 14:47SPEAKER_03: So how do you navigate and integrate wealth building and ambition with being rooted in faith?
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: I think it's a constant conversation with with God, right?
- 15:01SPEAKER_00: So it's like just a constant um dialogue with God, um, you know, why I I want this, right?
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: That's usually where like when I'm looking at something, it's like it comes from my desires, yeah, right.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: And then when I look at those desires, you know, I I usually um peace is my guiding post, right?
- 15:23SPEAKER_00: So like if I'm really excited about something, if I'm feeling peace about it and I don't, it's coming to me easy, that's where it's like, okay, I'm gonna keep moving forward with that, but I'm also gonna take the time to have a conversation with God about this because I want to be sure that my motives are correct.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: And trust me, I've got it wrong way more than I've gotten it right.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: I've gone off, I've gotten ahead of, um, I've taken action without God.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Um, I've launched businesses or expanded businesses without thoroughly having a conversation with God.
- 15:54SPEAKER_00: I and what I always encourage people now is to pray and seek wise counsel, right?
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: So it's like talk to God about it, pray about it, um, but then also talk to the wise counsel in your life that is real enough to give you feedback.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: So that's how I balance it, right?
- 16:09SPEAKER_00: And then I also think that you know, you're you're the way that I view it is like money and generating money is going to happen.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: It's it's like neutral.
- 16:19SPEAKER_00: Um the the money part's neutral.
- 16:23SPEAKER_00: Who controls the money part is not neutral.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: So the more of anti-Christian businesses that are owned or or businesses that are just kind of lukewarm, um, they're not making the impact that if we have more and more kingdom-minded businesses that that are owned.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: So that's a really big motivator to me is to help like people like you, you're already on fire for Jesus, right?
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Like where I don't, I don't need to help fire you up, right?
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: You have great wise counsel, you have great mentors in your life.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: So the more that I can help you expand your business, I mean, that's a really fun and easy way for me to help make a massive kingdom impact, right?
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: So, you know, it's it's um, I know my, especially my wife and I, we we are not motivated by money for ourselves.
- 17:07SPEAKER_00: We're motivated to build a massive family legacy through business that is going to speed up and make the impact bigger for our boys and then for our grandkids as well.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Then it's our responsibility to teach them uh the ways of the Bible and and to be strong men of God, right?
- 17:25SPEAKER_00: So when they get those opportunities, they're doing good with it, right?
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Um so yeah.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: Does that answer the question a little bit?
- 17:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_03: For those that are your children's age and my age and the future generation.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: You're saying I'm old?
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: Is that what you're trying to say?
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Our generation.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: I'm old.
- 17:44SPEAKER_00: Um how old are you?
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Twenty-two.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Twenty-two.
- 17:47SPEAKER_03: I just turned twenty-two.
- 17:48SPEAKER_03: So you've been married as long as I've been?
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 17:51SPEAKER_03: Probably a little bit longer.
- 17:52SPEAKER_03: I've just turned twenty two.
- 17:53SPEAKER_03: That's what your anniversary is.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: I don't either.
- 17:55SPEAKER_00: No, it's June something.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: 21st.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: June 21st, thanks.
- 18:00SPEAKER_03: So you've been married.
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: Because my birthday's my birthday's 9-11.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:05SPEAKER_03: Um I got you've been married longer than I've been alive.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 18:09SPEAKER_03: Um, but for our generation, uh, and my generation, your kids' generation, and the future generation that are on fire for the Lord, but don't yet have the wisdom and the uh the like you have a lot more to steward than we do.
- 18:30SPEAKER_03: How can we be serving and how can we be building the kingdom without as much to like steward, if that makes sense?
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: Well, I would say that um you guys actually have more to steward, just to be completely honest with you.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: Um I I didn't understand business until you know, I'm I'm 48, probably like early 40s, late 30s.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Um I didn't understand stewarding my finances, I didn't understand stewarding relationships, right?
- 18:59SPEAKER_00: So you and and a lot of the people that you run with are way ahead of me.
- 19:04SPEAKER_00: Um I think about the impact that I could have made if I had a great relationship with the Lord and I understood how to steward my finances when I was, you know, like I would make I would make great money selling phones for Verizon and I would make more money every year, but at the end of the year I still didn't have any money, right?
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: So we got really good at just spending more money.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: So so the thing that I would say is um understand your relationship, like keep that fire for Jesus, right?
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: Going out and get outside of the four walls of the church, which I know you guys do a great job of.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: Get outside of the four walls of the church, right?
- 19:38SPEAKER_00: Continuously build relationships with people, have the uh a great inner circle of people that are gonna hold you accountable and stare at you and tell you, like, that's a bad idea.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Don't do that, and and be bold enough to have those conversations with you, right?
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Um have a great personal relationship with the Lord, right?
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: Um, like so start with that.
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: And then it's I think it's really important that we do find a way to make money, right?
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: Now, people are gonna be called to ministry, go for it.
- 20:07SPEAKER_00: I'm all about that.
- 20:08SPEAKER_00: But if you're not called to full-time ministry, um, the earlier that you start making money, the better.
- 20:14SPEAKER_00: So, you know, the the what my boys are doing is they're staying at home until they're married, right?
- 20:21SPEAKER_00: Um, so that money that they would be paying on rent or whatever it is that those extra expenses, they're investing all of it.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: So they're putting it in something safe and diversified that's gonna pretty much guaranteed to make money over the long haul, right?
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: So that's something that I would recommend is like go make money, build a pile of cash, like make lots of money, um, live way below your means, right?
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Like whatever that looks like, right?
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: Like when you're when you're 25 and under and you're not married, like you be really wise about how you spend money.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: Like, there's so much stuff that you can do to entertain yourself.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Like, don't drink.
- 20:59SPEAKER_00: The the biggest reason I would tell you not to drink is it's such a it's like the money part.
- 21:04SPEAKER_00: I I haven't had a drink in over three years.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: Like, trust me, I'll stay out and party and have a lot of fun and dance and not like not that I'm going clubbing or anything like that, but like you could still have fun with people.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: You can still have fun and interact with people that are worldly without spending the money, right?
- 21:23SPEAKER_00: And it's not only the money, it's the um, you know, the the waste of time, the night of plus the next day.
- 21:29SPEAKER_00: So, so strong, passionate relationship with the Lord, right?
- 21:34SPEAKER_00: Great mentors in your life, great relationship with the word of God, uh uh where you've built a strong daily devotional life.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Um, and then make money and save money and grow up that wealth.
- 21:44SPEAKER_00: And if you have a desire to grow in business into owning a business, YouTube university, right?
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Like whatever you want to be great at, go to YouTube, use ChatGPT to build out plans.
- 21:55SPEAKER_00: Um, come to a group like Bulls in Business, where you have a bunch of old head people like me that are.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: Willing to pour into young people to help them grow businesses and make a big impact.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: So that's that would be my recommendation.
- 22:08SPEAKER_00: A lot of what you're already doing.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: So yeah.
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: For me, for a long time, I was walking through and I have, as you mentioned, like really good mentors in my life, but I'm seeing where they're at and I'm seeing where I'm at.
- 22:20SPEAKER_03: I feel like I'm behind.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: But it's like I'm I lost some.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: They would all literally all of them would laugh at you for saying that because like you are you are so far ahead, right?
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Where you're far ahead from the people that are your mentors in your life is your relationship with the Lord, right?
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and then secondly, like you're already building a business.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: Like you're building your own business, whether this is the business you have forever, like that's not relevant for this conversation.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: But you've built a machine or you're building a machine that can make money.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: And then now when that money comes, what are you gonna do with that money?
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Like you're not, I'm gonna go buy a Lambo guy, right?
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Like you're going to invest that into stuff that's gonna continue to grow, right?
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: Like I love to tell my boys like you make a dollar, and then that dollar is a soldier for you, and you say, go to work for me now, right?
- 23:06SPEAKER_00: So it's like put that money into something that's gonna go to work for you.
- 23:09SPEAKER_00: And yeah, um, so yeah, and and you're obsessed with continual growth, right?
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: Whether that's you're learning more about the Lord, um, you know, studying up on on men and women that have been kings and queens of the faith, yeah.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: Um and business-wise, right?
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: Like the the so yeah, it's like using that what you do with your time at any age, but especially at at a young age, like you just gotta be wise with it, right?
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:35SPEAKER_00: And you know, it's so it's constantly learning, constantly in relationship with people, you know, uh, because that relationship's gonna be impactful for you and for the people that you're in relationship with.
- 23:44SPEAKER_03: So something that stuck with me, what you said earlier with your you said your is it nail post?
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: Is that what you said?
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: I don't know what I said.
- 23:53SPEAKER_00: Guidepost.
- 23:54SPEAKER_03: Guidepost, being peace.
- 23:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:57SPEAKER_03: What are your thoughts on navigating peace?
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: We know that the Lord provides perfect peace, shalom, shalom, that surpasses all understanding and is not circumstantial, but in this day and age of like you know what we're doing on Halloween, um, and different things where there is room for like circumstantially, I don't understand how peace could be in this, but also receiving the Lord's peace.
- 24:22SPEAKER_03: How can you navigate being bold in your faith and standing your ground and taking ground for the kingdom while also being in peace?
- 24:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: Um, I think that the peace, as you said, peace comes from the Lord, right?
- 24:43SPEAKER_00: And I mean it's it is a for me, it's a physical response, right?
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: Like when I'm when I'm working on something and I'm stressed and I'm angst about it, um, like I like to just pause and you know get outside a lot of times, uh, take my shoes and socks off and walk around in the grass and really, really connect, uh, and you know, just have a conversation with God, put in, you know, put in my AirPods, listen to some psalms, listen to some proverbs, listen to some worship music, stuff like that.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: So another visual that I I um got from uh a pastor named uh Kirk Freeman in his book Threads, and and he talks about the guideposts, the three guideposts, right?
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: Because um in so when you're when you're kind of filtering ideas and and you're trying to figure stuff out, and one is the word of God, and then the other one is the voice of God, and then the other one is the peace, people of God, right?
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: Because I think we get ourselves so like the the thing that you're talking about, right?
- 25:40SPEAKER_00: Like you're you're you're looking to do a worship night on Halloween.
- 25:44SPEAKER_00: Like you I can tell you right now, you you literally don't need to talk to anybody else about whether or not this is a good idea.
- 25:52SPEAKER_00: It's absolutely a good idea.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: Any night is a great idea to do a worship night, right?
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: Doing it on Halloween, like God's gonna be all about that.
- 26:01SPEAKER_00: But just using that as the example, so those three things, it's like going to the Word of God about about this, what you're working on, the situation that you're working on, right?
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Um, going to some people of God, those mentoring your lives, the wise counsel that you would have in your life, and then you having a conversation, like God, what do you think about this?
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: Like how how what is my role in this?
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Like, what do you what's what's the outcome that you want to see in this?
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: And he'll talk to you about it, right?
- 26:29SPEAKER_00: So when you when you when you're talking about, like, let's talk about what you're working on, um, and you're talking about peace or lack of peace.
- 26:39SPEAKER_00: Like, do you feel any type of lack of peace when it comes to that decision?
- 26:45SPEAKER_03: I feel peace in knowing that it needs to be done.
- 26:47SPEAKER_03: I would say now more than ever, I'm definitely going through more spiritual warfare than I ever had before.
- 26:55SPEAKER_03: Um, and I can see that for sure.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: Um But I the the first few days of it, well the first couple weeks, it was like I was telling Adam, uh, who I'm doing it with, that like this is on my heart.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: And then we sp we spoke briefly, and we're gonna be speaking again later this week.
- 27:14SPEAKER_03: Um by the time this comes out, it might be afterwards, but um yeah, we're gonna speak later this week.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: I got like really, really clear revelation between like Saturday and like Tuesday or Wednesday of last week, and like as soon as I got revelation, like the enemy started attacking immediately, which I've never had that happen, to where the enemy attacks while I'm in the secret space.
- 27:41SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know, like, doesn't even make sense to me.
- 27:44SPEAKER_03: Um, like, how can the enemy get in when I'm in my secret place with with God?
- 27:48SPEAKER_03: Um, but then basically Thursday through Sunday, and probably even like going forward too, I it's been less of revelation, like there's been certain things that have been like little details that I mean I'm a big believer that the little things oftentimes are actually the big things, but it's more been the Lord using the messages and whatnot that I'm hearing to like empower me and equip me to go and do that.
- 28:17SPEAKER_03: Um and also uh and and also yeah, just surrender, surrender all of it.
- 28:24SPEAKER_03: Like it's not me doing it, it's the Lord using me as a vessel.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 28:29SPEAKER_03: Even though like people see, hopefully people see Jesus in me, but people see like my face um, you know, at at the front and center, but it's not me, it's Jesus in me.
- 28:40SPEAKER_03: Right, absolutely, as Jamar says.
- 28:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 28:45SPEAKER_00: Shout out to Jamar Wright.
- 28:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, legend, yeah, legend in the game.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Introduced us.
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's right.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Um, so a thought thought that I had while you were talking about that is like you're not gonna gain kingdom ground without king without uh resistance, right?
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like the the devil's not just gonna lay down and take that, right?
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: Um and you know, one of the keys is just understanding what's of God and what's of the enemy, right?
- 29:10SPEAKER_00: And when the enemy's trying to attack your thoughts, trying to, you know, he's typically gonna tell you you're not qualified for it.
- 29:18SPEAKER_00: Um, he's typically gonna tell you that um it's not gonna work, nobody's gonna show up, right?
- 29:24SPEAKER_00: You're wasting your time.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: You're not like who are you to do this, Tony?
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: Like that's the stuff that the enemy, the enemy has been using the same trick for eternity, right?
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: It's like these, he's got like these five to ten different tricks that he that he pulls on us.
- 29:37SPEAKER_00: And you just have to be able to identify it quickly and then rebuke him, right?
- 29:42SPEAKER_00: Hold those thoughts captive, like the word of God says, right?
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: And and we I talked to all my boys about that.
- 29:49SPEAKER_00: Like, what does that mean to hold a thought captive, right?
- 29:51SPEAKER_00: Like I was like challenged by that when I heard it because I was like, why would I hold this negative thought captive and keep thinking about it?
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: It's like, no, you're not holding it captive to like keep dwelling on it, you're holding it captive to interrogate it, right?
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: And understand like where'd this come from?
- 30:06SPEAKER_00: This isn't of the Lord, right?
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: And just building yourself up in that, building your confidence up in it.
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: And then when you taught, once again, like you know, you talking to others, that's where the people of God comes into play, where it's like, hey, you know, Adam, I'm struggling with this.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: He'll be able to strengthen you and say, bro, come on.
- 30:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, you know that the the your friends see you give, give, give, and this is the time that you're asking, like, hey, come show up for me Halloween night, they're gonna show up big time for you.
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: So it's just those, you know, we all need those people in our lives that are just our biggest cheerleaders.
- 30:39SPEAKER_03: So it's also it's it's for them too.
- 30:43SPEAKER_03: You know, like it's not it's it's not about me.
- 30:45SPEAKER_03: Like initially, like I I had talked with you about it, and I was just gonna do like bring some people here to the office and have a little worship night, maybe a little word.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:53SPEAKER_03: And then Adam got us into victory.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: Shout out to Victory, I have a shirt on right now.
- 30:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um beautiful church.
- 31:01SPEAKER_03: Um, and the after that the Lord gave me revelation of like I I had a vision of victory a few months ago where it's like people flooding the outside, like there's like so much overflow, and I I believe that it might be that night of Halloween, which is crazy.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: Um, so taking ground for the kingdom.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: Um and then another thing with that, these last like three or four months, I I've been a believer for like two years now.
- 31:31SPEAKER_03: These last three or four months, I can say without question that I've grown the most spiritually since since being a believer.
- 31:38SPEAKER_03: Um, these three or four months first was like the 20 or so before that.
- 31:43SPEAKER_03: Um but especially this month since God put this on my heart, it's like super, super quickly, like one thing after another that he wants to heal in my own life because he showed me that night as a night of healing.
- 31:54SPEAKER_03: Um, that he wants me to be fully restored so that I can be equipped um to to go and serve and do what he wants to do on the 31st.
- 32:04SPEAKER_03: It's sort of just been like one big thing after another, which I mean if I look back, it's like probably certain things that people take with them their whole life or until they're much older in life.
- 32:16SPEAKER_03: So absolutely, yeah.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: I'm grateful for it.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:18SPEAKER_00: Well, and I love that you're you're seeing that the journey is worth it, right?
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 32:24SPEAKER_00: So even if the 31st comes and something happens and the event can't happen, nobody shows up, right?
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Like none of this stuff's actually gonna happen.
- 32:31SPEAKER_03: I think that would be beautiful.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: You've you have what what God has done in you during that time has been worth it.
- 32:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right?
- 32:40SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I mean the 31st, again, this would, I don't know, maybe we'll get this out before the 31st as a promo, but um and Adam and I, like I said, we're gonna talk later this week, so I'm even talking too early.
- 32:54SPEAKER_03: But what I've seen is like we're gonna have Adam said he wanted to do it an all-day thing.
- 32:59SPEAKER_03: At first, like me, I was like, and you know, I usually work on Fridays.
- 33:04SPEAKER_03: Um, so at first I was like, I don't I don't know about that, but then I started praying about it, and he was saying like having it private initially, and what the Lord showed me is like both, so like at night it's gonna be like as big as possible, like get multiple different ministries involved.
- 33:18SPEAKER_03: So, like obviously RWC, uh, I met with the founder of Abide Indy, which is a big women's group um recently, and so like just getting them to invite all their people and just making it huge because it's either like a lot of the people that are getting invited, it's either they're coming here or they're gonna go to like whatever party um that is I mean literally demonic.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: Um, but then in the morning having like a smaller, maybe 10, 15 people private group and intercession for everyone that night and prayer over one another.
- 33:55SPEAKER_03: Um the Lord's also made it very clear that I will need a lot of prayer before, during, and after.
- 34:01SPEAKER_03: So like part of the vision too that night is as like I'm speaking, having I think like two or three people just in the prayer room upstairs um the whole night, just like interceding over me and our worship team and uh everyone that's serving and everyone that is there and the city everyone, yeah, the city, the world.
- 34:19SPEAKER_03: I mean, yeah.
- 34:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: So that's good.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's good.
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: So the so Halloween nights on a Friday night this year.
- 34:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, awesome.
- 34:27SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so um, yeah, so literally I have that whole week prior, I think I mentioned I'm going probably to Fort Wayne for a prophetic training on that Sunday and Monday.
- 34:42SPEAKER_03: Tuesday I have a discipleship like rooted group.
- 34:45SPEAKER_03: Um yeah, rooted.
- 34:48SPEAKER_03: Wednesday I'm meeting with I have a spiritual board of advisors.
- 34:51SPEAKER_03: Thursday we have victory.
- 34:52SPEAKER_03: So I'm and I told right now I'm serving there, but I told Adam like I just want to probably just receive that night specifically.
- 34:58SPEAKER_03: And then Friday's gonna go time.
- 35:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: Go time.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:04SPEAKER_03: So I have a lot, like literally that whole, and it was actually Saturday.
- 35:08SPEAKER_03: I have a big worship night I'm going to, and then like Thursday before it is um victory again, and yeah.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 35:17SPEAKER_00: So nice.
- 35:18SPEAKER_00: I think my recommendation would be all of those, um all of those big things that are building up towards the the your event on the 31st, I would write them down and then in your time of prayer, in your quiet time, like you talked about, ask God what his thoughts are.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you, you know, how do you want to be positioned in this?
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: Like, how do you want, what do you want this to look like, right?
- 35:43SPEAKER_00: And then and then take that information to your wise counsel and be like, hey, hearing from the Lord on on this particular thing, what do you think?
- 35:50SPEAKER_00: Because um I feel like a lot of times when we take the time to do that, he'll he'll lay out our plans better than we could ever lay out our plans.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: So and at the end of the day, like my my favorite, one of my favorite things to say is time and a place and then let God show up, right?
- 36:04SPEAKER_00: Some sometimes we don't have to overthink it, right?
- 36:06SPEAKER_00: Just get there, you know, let's let's praise the Lord, and um, you know, you're gonna have great people there uh helping you out that are they're gonna hear from the Lord and help you to take action on it.
- 36:17SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it'll be fun.
- 36:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I'm excited.
- 36:20SPEAKER_03: There's um he showed me a lot of healing breakthrough and resurrection, so we want to have the waters open and yeah, I believe it's gonna be physical healing and inner healing and all sorts of healing.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:35SPEAKER_03: Um he he put on my heart, and I actually didn't realize this till last night.
- 36:39SPEAKER_03: Uh I've been reading a book called Soul Care.
- 36:42SPEAKER_03: I actually just finished it.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: And it I think in the last chapter it's about deliverance, and um it talks about how Jesus didn't like proactively go out to deliver people.
- 36:54SPEAKER_03: Like that was like healing he did, teaching he did, like proactively go out.
- 36:59SPEAKER_03: Um deliverance was more of like a reactive, like in the moment sort of thing.
- 37:03SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 37:03SPEAKER_03: So like I because I I felt like healing very, very clearly is that like what he wants to do that night.
- 37:10SPEAKER_03: But then I like part of me was like deliverance, and until last night I didn't put that piece together to like be ready, be on guard for that.
- 37:18SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 37:18SPEAKER_03: Um, but also know that like that's not something that you're proactively going out to seek.
- 37:24SPEAKER_03: Like that's if if it's needed, great.
- 37:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, not great.
- 37:27SPEAKER_03: You know, hopefully it's not needed, but um we live in the world.
- 37:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, hopefully it is needed in the wrong world.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: Hopefully it is needed.
- 37:33SPEAKER_00: I mean that that's you know, I think you know, especially like if you're if you're having conversations with Pastor Adam, yeah, um, he'll tell you that you know a lot of the best breakthroughs and all of the stuff that you're mentioning, you know, deliverance is a part of that.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 37:46SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 37:47SPEAKER_03: So well when I say is hopefully it's not needed, is hopefully there's no demons there.
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: Um yeah.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:55SPEAKER_03: So um, yeah, and like I said, having the baptism deva baptism tub, so having that open.
- 38:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 38:03SPEAKER_00: The uh one of the baptism tubs that he has, it looks like a horse trough.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you have you seen that there.
- 38:09SPEAKER_03: I might have been in that.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: That that uh that we the Yader family donated.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: We used to have that out on the farm.
- 38:15SPEAKER_00: And uh when he did baptism nights one night, um, I was like, hey, would you use this?
- 38:20SPEAKER_00: He was like, absolutely.
- 38:21SPEAKER_03: What does that look like?
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's like six or eight foot, you know, horse is like white?
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: No, it's well he might have painted it.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: It was I mean it's yeah, it's like what you would see horses or cows drink out of.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: Come on, city boy, don't you know that?
- 38:35SPEAKER_00: Anyways, yeah.
- 38:37SPEAKER_03: That's good I wanted to.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: I uh I met Jesus in the water a month ago or so.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:45SPEAKER_03: Um like I've been baptized in it was April 7, 24.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: I got baptized by Ethan for a number.
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: Um, but then I actually I was bringing a couple homeless people to victory and I was asking Adam, I I just texted Adam, like, uh, is baptism open today?
- 39:04SPEAKER_03: And he said, for you, question mark.
- 39:06SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, for me, what I've already been baptized.
- 39:08SPEAKER_03: Like I felt that just that pride immediately like rise up.
- 39:11SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 39:12SPEAKER_03: So in that moment too, I had a discernment to know like that something is like doesn't want me to get in the water.
- 39:18SPEAKER_03: So I'm like, okay, I'll get in the water.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:20SPEAKER_03: Uh and so like a month, month after that conversation, I got in the water.
- 39:24SPEAKER_03: And I say a month, I don't know.
- 39:26SPEAKER_03: It's been, I mean, RWC started in July, so it's probably been like a week.
- 39:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 39:30SPEAKER_03: Or two weeks.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:32SPEAKER_03: Time goes by.
- 39:33SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 39:34SPEAKER_03: I feel outside of time.
- 39:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:36SPEAKER_03: Right now.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: That's good.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: So that's good.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: I'd I uh I'd really challenge you to think about um and have a conversation with God on who needs to be there, who does God want there, right?
- 39:49SPEAKER_00: Um and uh because my thought would be, and I've I've you know been in your shoes in these situations before where um you want a lot of people to be there, right?
- 40:02SPEAKER_00: Because you want a lot of people to be impacted, but maybe that maybe the right thing is, you know, like because of the momentum you have with RWC and what they're doing, where it's like that's really your focus is like let's get as many RWC people there as possible and let's go really deep, right?
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: Like, let's let the Lord really, really make like rock some of these people, get some healing, get some inner healing, get some deliverance, whatever that looks like.
- 40:26SPEAKER_00: Get give them a chance to get in the water if they haven't been in the water before.
- 40:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: Uh and and it's like you are equipping an army, right?
- 40:34SPEAKER_00: Versus, you know, touching, touching a lot of people.
- 40:36SPEAKER_00: So something for you to to have a conversation with God about.
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I didn't even think about that.
- 40:40SPEAKER_03: Oh, if it makes sense.
- 40:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:42SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah, having that was the idea with the morning, for sure.
- 40:48SPEAKER_03: It's like having, like I said, like 10, 15 people are then touching at least 10, 15 people themselves.
- 40:55SPEAKER_03: And then that that'll go and multiply it.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I think I'll pray about that for sure.
- 41:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:03SPEAKER_00: That'll be a good time.
- 41:05SPEAKER_00: That'll be a good time.
- 41:06SPEAKER_00: What else are you working on?
- 41:09SPEAKER_03: Um launching the podcast.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: It's launched.
- 41:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we we launched our first episode last week.
- 41:15SPEAKER_03: Uh today we'll be having the episode where I go deep in my testimony with um Bella and Addy come out, and then next week we'll have their interview come out and then possibly have Adams come out after that.
- 41:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:29SPEAKER_03: And I know we need to get Gabe's up too, because that's like an actual business one.
- 41:32SPEAKER_03: Gotcha.
- 41:33SPEAKER_03: I I would say I'm definitely at this stage in my career as a podcaster, if you even call it that.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: You are officially.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: You're officially a podcaster.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: Um just like Augie's a YouTuber, you know?
- 41:44SPEAKER_00: It's like Augie's seven, he's got a YouTube channel.
- 41:46SPEAKER_00: It's unlisted, so nobody sees it, but he doesn't need to know that.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 41:51SPEAKER_03: Um I would say I've definitely seen that I my heart I enjoy a lot more like these faith-driven conversations um with other builders.
- 42:05SPEAKER_03: But I've also been contemplating like having people who just have a great testimony that aren't necessarily like an entrepreneur, but um I think ultimately I like to interview people like you who are business builders, um, ministry builders, stuff like that.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's good.
- 42:22SPEAKER_03: That are faith-driven.
- 42:24SPEAKER_03: So it's good.
- 42:25SPEAKER_03: It's a lot more natural of a conversation too, I think.
- 42:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 42:29SPEAKER_03: So and then also just not having my computer here with me.
- 42:32SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 42:33SPEAKER_03: Just letting the conversation flow naturally.
- 42:34SPEAKER_03: I before I was doing like a lot of research, and I think it's just better for it to flow.
- 42:39SPEAKER_03: I mean, obviously, no like a base level, but also most people that I've had on I know pretty well.
- 42:44SPEAKER_00: So yeah, just having a conversation, and it's like a lot of times when I'm because the fun thing is like this is the seat that I normally sit in when I'm recording.
- 42:51SPEAKER_00: Well, not normally, this is the seat that I sit in when I'm doing the Bulls in business show.
- 42:55SPEAKER_00: And my guest is sitting over there, and I usually say, like, yeah, we're, you know, it's like you're we've got lights on us, we've got cameras on us, we got mics in front of us, but after a couple of minutes, that's just all gonna kind of disappear and we're just gonna have a conversation, right?
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 43:09SPEAKER_00: Tell me about how you got connected to Mr.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: Jamar Wright.
- 43:13SPEAKER_00: Jamar is one of my favorite people in the whole world.
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: Um we we connected uh at church because I used to own Verizon stores and he came walking in one day wearing a Verizon jacket, and I went up to him and said, Hey, you're not allowed to talk about Verizon to any of these people.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: They all do business with me, just joking around.
- 43:30SPEAKER_00: And we connected ever since then and been running and doing doing stuff together.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: But but yeah, tell me about your relationship with Jamar.
- 43:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um Panda Express.
- 43:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 43:41SPEAKER_03: I met with Donovan Green, who I think you know.
- 43:44SPEAKER_03: Um I'm not super close with him anymore, but uh I met with him I think originally through real estate, and we just started talking about God, and he introduced me to Christian Connectors, which is a men's group that Jamar Wright hosts every Tuesday morning.
- 44:00SPEAKER_03: And from there that's where Jamar and I met and saw his heart.
- 44:03SPEAKER_03: At the time I was going through financial struggles, and I think he had like let me borrow, but really like gave me um like I don't know, it was a couple hundred dollars or something.
- 44:16SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 44:16SPEAKER_03: Like at that time was like a huge amount of money.
- 44:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:18SPEAKER_03: You know.
- 44:19SPEAKER_03: Um so just like immediately just seeing his heart.
- 44:22SPEAKER_03: Um and obviously like at that stage of life that that was pretty uncomfortable to like receive.
- 44:27SPEAKER_03: And I'm still like learning to receive, it's easier to give, really.
- 44:31SPEAKER_03: Um but yeah.
- 44:35SPEAKER_03: Knew him through there, and then obviously we're both in real estate.
- 44:40SPEAKER_03: Um now he's on my spiritual board of advisors.
- 44:43SPEAKER_03: Um and yeah, he he introduced me to you, he introduced me to Ethan Fernaber, who baptized me.
- 44:53SPEAKER_03: Um so he's played a pivotal role in in my spiritual journey.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: Nice.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah, nice.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's a good one.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: You'll have you'll have to ask him about the time that I fired him.
- 45:03SPEAKER_03: So I think he's told me about that.
- 45:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 45:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 45:06SPEAKER_03: You guys are just downsizing, I think, right?
- 45:09SPEAKER_00: Uh we were in the middle of middle of COVID, and um uh I knew that we were gonna be selling stores, so it was more of a hey, we're selling stuff, you might want to figure something out, and then yeah, nine months later we parted ways.
- 45:21SPEAKER_00: So it was the it was he calls it a firing, but it wasn't really a firing.
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: So I heard you like you played a big role in him coming to uh being an entrepreneur.
- 45:32SPEAKER_00: Allegedly, allegedly, but yeah, yeah.
- 45:36SPEAKER_00: No, he's a he's a good one, and I love I love what he does for the for the kingdom and um the the fact that he you know he not only does it in the business field, but he actually does it from the pulpit as well.
- 45:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah um and he's also comfortable going out and doing getting into the streets as well, yeah, you know, and and serving God's children.
- 45:52SPEAKER_03: So that's another thing I forgot.
- 45:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we went to the same church for a while and that he preached at and uh he empowered me to like I I gave a couple two or three messages at that old church that we used to go to.
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: Nice.
- 46:06SPEAKER_03: Um yeah, New Heights Church with Pastor Ken Johnson.
- 46:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's great.
- 46:11SPEAKER_00: Pastor Ken's amazing too.
- 46:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, he's a good one.
- 46:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I just called with him and Mama D a few weeks ago.
- 46:16SPEAKER_03: Nice because we haven't really talked since I left the church.
- 46:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but yeah, good.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: Good.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: Cool.
- 46:23SPEAKER_00: What else you got?
- 46:24SPEAKER_03: Approaching life holistically, like learning, I'm just looking at all of these books.
- 46:30SPEAKER_03: Learning, but also integrating that with faith, obviously, integrating that with health, um, with family, with friends.
- 46:37SPEAKER_03: Because people talk about work-life balance, and like auto entrepreneurs talk about like that's not a thing.
- 46:43SPEAKER_03: Um like auto social media entrepreneurs, which is like our actual you know, all all all the entrepreneurs that create content, I feel like always talk about like work-life balance is not a thing.
- 46:52SPEAKER_03: I I I do believe that.
- 46:53SPEAKER_03: I think it's more of like integrating because when I got burned out of this business, I think we had known each other at that point.
- 47:01SPEAKER_03: Um it was because I was not integrating my work-life balance or work and life, they felt like completely separated from one another.
- 47:11SPEAKER_03: Um so yeah.
- 47:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 47:14SPEAKER_03: Just approaching life holistically, integrating, or unless you have a different perspective.
- 47:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I do I do believe that work-life balance is important.
- 47:24SPEAKER_00: Um, I also think that one of the best things that you can do for that is find something that you actually really enjoy doing as work or a business that you own.
- 47:33SPEAKER_00: Um, and then integrating people into it that you really appreciate spending time with, whether that's your family, you know, people that end up becoming friends, because um, you know, if you've created, if you've created a business or you work at a job that's just nothing but stressful and you continue to do it for an extended period of time, that's not healthy.
- 47:53SPEAKER_00: Uh that we are gonna go through seasons where we have to provide.
- 47:56SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna have to do things that may we maybe don't enjoy doing, and we've got to go out and dig some ditches.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: But the the the thought is like I need to do more and I and I want to create more time, freedom.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: So for me, it's really about worthwhile work with people that I love.
- 48:11SPEAKER_00: That's that's how I look like to look at it.
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: It's like I want to do things that I feel like um are worthy of doing, that I'm I have an opportunity to make an impact.
- 48:20SPEAKER_00: And then I want to do it with people that I love and I enjoy spending time with, right?
- 48:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and then then it it's really not work.
- 48:25SPEAKER_00: It's just kind of a way that I make money.
- 48:27SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, so I get to I get to live my life and my family gets to live our lives through that, you know.
- 48:33SPEAKER_00: And as my boys are getting older, that's becoming more and more apparent and enjoyable because you know, we're we're sitting here in one of the businesses that I own, yeah, and my son's sitting here with us uh doing the producing stuff.
- 48:44SPEAKER_00: So like being able to create those types of environments are important for me.
- 48:48SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I do think like understanding how valuable, like especially at your age, understanding how valuable time is, and it's like when I um prioritizing your time, um, scheduling your time wisely, like that's where consuming knowledge is good.
- 49:07SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 49:07SPEAKER_00: Um, I would I would recommend that um, and something I wish I would have done over my time of learning and reading is I studying more of the word of God and people writing about the word of God and church history, things like that.
- 49:22SPEAKER_00: Um, one of my mentors uh told me, you know, I read lots and lots of business books, uh, or even if they're kingdom-minded business books, but I feel like the more that I read those, the more that I learn about the world versus learning about the word of God.
- 49:35SPEAKER_00: So um, but I like to um I like to consume a lot of my books now through audiobooks and podcasts.
- 49:42SPEAKER_00: I do a lot of, I mean, we all do a lot of driving around, running around.
- 49:46SPEAKER_00: I know you you live here, so you you don't have to go anywhere.
- 49:49SPEAKER_00: Um, but no, the uh so I I'll listen to a lot of podcasts, um, business podcasts, um, or Kingdom Minding Podcasts, listen to Remnant Radio, I love, um, Ken Fish's Orbus Ministry podcast.
- 50:00SPEAKER_00: Um, so I I think putting your time, so it's like instead of like doom scrolling on your phone, actually reading a book or listening to an audiobook or something along those lines, so you're constantly growing and investing in yourself.
- 50:14SPEAKER_00: Never think, like if you ever are in the position where it's like, oh, I know everything, there's nothing else else, yeah, you're you're fooling yourself.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 50:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:22SPEAKER_00: And then and then when you get into a relationship, right?
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: Um, uh, you know, for those of you that are married, you're all going to be married eventually.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: Just in a constant conversation with your spouse on how are we doing, how are the how is the family doing, how is, you know, so it's like you're not making assumptions on either end, but you're really integrating, like I tried to do a good job of integrating Kelly into everything that's going on in the business family, all that stuff.
- 50:46SPEAKER_00: And then vice versa, she does the same for me.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 50:51SPEAKER_03: How do you keep that humility through success?
- 50:54SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, being open to learning and receptive.
- 50:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 50:59SPEAKER_00: Uh I like to uh I mean I know that I know the many, many times that I've failed.
- 51:06SPEAKER_00: Um there's stuff that I have, businesses that I have right now that are that are not going as well as I would like them to.
- 51:12SPEAKER_00: So out of that, like the real fact is like you're you're never fully where you possibly could be.
- 51:18SPEAKER_00: So life has kept me humble.
- 51:20SPEAKER_00: God has kept me humble.
- 51:21SPEAKER_00: So that's helped.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: And then you know, that's that's that's just been my driver, right?
- 51:26SPEAKER_00: Where um, you know, I'm really motivated by um helping like bring joy to other people's, other people, not peoples, to peoples.
- 51:39SPEAKER_00: Uh so like in and um so that that kind of keeps me hum, that keeps me humble.
- 51:46SPEAKER_00: I just think I'm naturally like like I'm not always selfless, right?
- 51:53SPEAKER_00: But I just naturally think that way of like, oh, this is Tony, he's in my life, what could I do to help him?
- 51:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 52:00SPEAKER_00: Um, so I don't know, like in and you know, I think I think um God uh God rewards humbleness with grace, and I think we all could we all could use a lot of humbleness and we all could use a lot of grace on the other side of that.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 52:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 52:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, because it's just like at the end of the day, our time here is nothing compared to our time in eternity, right?
- 52:24SPEAKER_00: So my position, my title, the businesses I own, partners I have, when I get to heaven, none of that's gonna matter.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: I understand that and I'm okay with that.
- 52:32SPEAKER_00: Like I'm um, you know, I I want to grow the kingdom while I'm here.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 52:36SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 52:38SPEAKER_03: What would you say to somebody who is in a career or even a business that they don't particularly enjoy, um, even if it is for the Lord, about you know whether they should stay.
- 52:51SPEAKER_03: Um, you know, we talked about uh what is what is it called again, the the pillars.
- 52:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the the guidepost, right?
- 52:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah the the word of God, the voice of God, right?
- 53:02SPEAKER_00: So the word of God is obviously the Bible.
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the voice of God is your personal time with the Lord and talking to the Lord and then the people of God, right?
- 53:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 53:09SPEAKER_03: So that in mind, like whether to stay and even if you know if you do stay, like do I sustain it, do I like lower it, do I like descale, do I scale, do I grow it, um, do I make big changes, or like if I just need to make a career trajectory change uh entirely?
- 53:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and I mean you're like people are gonna have that probably multiple times throughout their whether they're a business owner or you know, they're they're working for somebody else.
- 53:40SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, and it's it's those it's those pillars, right?
- 53:44SPEAKER_00: So it's like spending time with the Lord and having conversations with the Lord on it, spending time in conversations with your mentors.
- 53:50SPEAKER_00: I'm also really big on like counting up the costs.
- 53:54SPEAKER_00: You know, we we were just I was uh um last Tuesday, I was on a on a call with a couple, and you know, they're in minute, they're in full-time ministry, but they're thinking about starting a business to help offset some of the fundraising stuff that they have to do, and they're like they're they're wrestling with it and thinking about it, and you know, and they're doing a good job of um talking to the people of God, praying.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: And and I said, but like what's it gonna cost?
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 54:18SPEAKER_00: Like, like, so I I'm a big believer in actually taking the time to do the work, to like build out like what would it if I was to um leave this job and go to a new job, right?
- 54:31SPEAKER_00: What am I gonna, how much money do I need to make?
- 54:33SPEAKER_00: Like how much time, how much cash do I have to burn?
- 54:36SPEAKER_00: So it's like actually writing stuff down to kind of think, okay, oh, this isn't as actually as a timid, because a lot of times when we write stuff down, it's less intimidating, right?
- 54:44SPEAKER_00: To start a business.
- 54:44SPEAKER_00: Or I'll come across people that um uh a couple of times over the last few years, I've come across women who are God has put a business on their heart and they're in, they're in a full-time job, and then their husband has a full-time job.
- 55:01SPEAKER_00: And for them to leave their full-time job and start their business, that's gonna be less money for the company for their family until they ramp it up, right?
- 55:09SPEAKER_00: But then when we sit and talk, I and I'll say, hey, is your is your husband supportive of this?
- 55:13SPEAKER_00: Yes, absolutely.
- 55:14SPEAKER_00: Do you feel peace about it?
- 55:15SPEAKER_00: Yes, absolutely.
- 55:17SPEAKER_00: Do you guys have enough money to where like she and and one of them was like, I don't have to work at all.
- 55:22SPEAKER_00: I was like, what's the problem here?
- 55:24SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 55:24SPEAKER_00: Like if you leave your job and you start this business and it doesn't work, you're gonna be able to go back to the job or go get another job, right?
- 55:33SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 55:33SPEAKER_00: And so it's like writing that stuff out and talking to people and like understanding the math behind it all kind of is a freeing way to think through it as well.
- 55:42SPEAKER_00: Because like we get paralysis by analysis and and getting on a whiteboard, you know me, like I love my whiteboards, it goes back to when I was a basketball coach, and just like really writing everything out is to me a really important part of the process as well.
- 55:55SPEAKER_00: So counting up the cost, you know, it's like what's it gonna cost to launch this business?
- 55:59SPEAKER_00: What's it gonna cost to, you know, spend like I need more traffic in my business, right?
- 56:05SPEAKER_00: Like I need more customers, yeah.
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 56:07SPEAKER_00: And uh if I spend$10,000 actually understanding the math on like what's it gonna cost for me to acquire a customer versus what's the lifetime value of it, right?
- 56:16SPEAKER_00: All that kind of stuff.
- 56:17SPEAKER_00: I love nerding out on the data, but yeah, I think it's I think it's a wise thing to do.
- 56:22SPEAKER_00: Because then we get out of like the wrestling with the decision versus like, okay, well, first off, there's no reason for me to wrestle with this decision because this makes absolutely no sense to do this financially.
- 56:32SPEAKER_00: So I need to pray about something, God bringing something else my way.
- 56:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, right.
- 56:36SPEAKER_03: So yeah, that reminds me of um Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger.
- 56:42SPEAKER_03: I've always heard that they well, Charlie Munger's passed away now, R.I.P.
- 56:46SPEAKER_03: Uh but Warren Buffett, I know he is known for making his investment decisions based on the worst case scenario.
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: And like you said, I think when you write down the worst case scenario, it can be a lot more intimidating.
- 57:00SPEAKER_03: Like definitely I should not do this, or it can be a lot less intimidating, like it's a no-brainer.
- 57:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:04SPEAKER_03: Or you can, even if it's like exactly what you thought, you can at least navigate like what the risks and pros and cons are.
- 57:10SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 57:11SPEAKER_03: Um and then also, yeah, with uh like what you said earlier about working with Verizon and making more money every year and then coming back and like just learning how to spend more.
- 57:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 57:22SPEAKER_03: I I've kind of done that with my business, but it's not even like personal expenses, like I live at home, um, but we're you know, probably three, four, I think I would have to look at the numbers.
- 57:33SPEAKER_03: That's another thing is I just hired an accountant last week.
- 57:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:36SPEAKER_03: That you know, probably should have done several months ago.
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: Who did you hire?
- 57:41SPEAKER_03: Uh shout out Tim Woodward, one another connection from Alex.
- 57:46SPEAKER_00: He'd be a great guest.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 57:48SPEAKER_03: I I actually invited him on.
- 57:50SPEAKER_03: Uh, we just need to get it scheduled.
- 57:52SPEAKER_03: So yeah, he said yeah, yeah.
- 57:53SPEAKER_03: So he'll be on at some point.
- 57:55SPEAKER_03: Um we haven't really started, I've paid him.
- 57:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we haven't started working together yet officially, like we need to do our onboarding.
- 58:02SPEAKER_03: But I think that'll be in and of itself huge, just to even know, like, I don't, I don't, I don't even know how much money we've made this year.
- 58:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's that's in the wise counsel bucket, yeah.
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: Right?
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: Like I all of the businesses that I'm involved in, I have Tim as my wise counsel when it comes to accounting and financial advising.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: Um so having somebody that you can it as a business owner, it is vital to have somebody to like, you know, if I'm looking at something new, Tim's looking at it with me.
- 58:31SPEAKER_00: And she's like, ah, Alex, I don't know about this.
- 58:34SPEAKER_00: You know, like you you might want to look at this differently.
- 58:37SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I'm glad you're working with Tim.
- 58:39SPEAKER_03: Because for for a for a long time, um, the I've always like I I always joke that like I'm a salesperson and I'm good at sales, but you know, when you get good at sales, you have to get good at accounting too.
- 58:51SPEAKER_03: And I am much more a people person and a numbers person.
- 58:54SPEAKER_03: And I just joked about that like kind of nonchalantly, but Delore really gave me conviction that like I need to be a better steward.
- 59:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 59:01SPEAKER_03: Because I was literally thinking about like before I started a business, I used to do DoorDash and stuff like that, and I wasn't like a great steward then, and I'm still not a great steward now.
- 59:10SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm sure I'm better because he's giving me more uh to steward, but to get to where he wants to take me, I need to become a better steward in in all areas.
- 59:20SPEAKER_03: I mean, he's been I didn't know that the spirit would ever convict me about time blocking, like that's another big thing that I've been very convicted about recently.
- 59:29SPEAKER_03: Um because I think as an entrepreneur especially, like you can work unnecessarily just to feel like you're being productive.
- 59:36SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 59:37SPEAKER_03: Not efficiently.
- 59:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 59:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 59:39SPEAKER_03: Um Ray Hilbert.
- 59:41SPEAKER_03: Well, I think one of the first times I met him in a group setting, he said, If I if you ever hear me say I'm busy, you have permission to slap me in the face.
- 59:49SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 59:50SPEAKER_03: So um just being mindful of being productive instead of just being busy.
- 59:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 59:55SPEAKER_00: So that's good.
- 59:56SPEAKER_00: Well, and I I want to uh like last thing, last thing for me on this, um, because then I I've got to run.
- 1:00:06SPEAKER_00: Um, but um the it's a really cool example what you're doing with Blend Wealth, okay?
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of people don't catch this, but you are now doing commerce locally with another business, right?
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_00: So your money that you're generating, which is which is blessed by the Lord in kingdom dollars, you're taking that and you're giving it to another company that is kingdom-minded, right?
- 1:00:32SPEAKER_00: And is gonna make a kingdom impact with it.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 1:00:34SPEAKER_00: And they're local, right?
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_00: Like now, not that local is the most important thing, but it is it's really important to me and my family.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_00: Um, you know, if we if we want to be involved in building a thriving Hamilton County, Indianapolis, and beyond, um, I know you and I are aligned on the more, the, the better, the more uh, you know, Alex Ramosy, more better new.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_00: But the more and the better that these local kingdom-minded businesses do, you know, that's better for the kingdom.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_00: And and so don't overlook that either, right?
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_00: Where it's almost like you are, you are uh like you are planting seeds into their business to solidify their business and make their business better, which is a kingdom minded business.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_03: So and a nerd coming to buy an Everbowl.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_03: So it's just full cycle.
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_03: So it comes back to you, yeah.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_03: At the end of the day, and then you and go you go and spend that money from Everbowl at Revive.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_03: Um the rights salon.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_03: And they go and spend the money.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_00: Yes, absolutely.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_03: You know, on real estate or that is from us.
- 1:01:39SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_03: So it's just a cycle.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_00: That's good.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_00: But well, hey, to close this podcast, I'm proud of you, dude.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_00: I love what you're building, love who you are.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_00: I love how you're uh, you know, you are relentless at building relationships with other people and the kingdom impact that you're making, and you're very, very eager to learn and grow, right?
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_00: That's a rare combination.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_00: Um, you understand that you don't know it all, and like I would just encourage you to always be a student along with that hustler that you are, and um excited for you.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: And I'm glad that I got a front row seat to watch you keep doing it.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_03: And yeah, I look forward to seeing a guidance for being used by them.
- 1:02:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, thanks for being here.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_00: See you, brother.
