• 2:14
  SPEAKER_03: That's right.
• 2:15
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because uh Sunday was uh Washburn.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_03: And no disrespect to Washburn, but uh they need to uh um I don't know, I don't know how how how would I put that?
• 2:29
  SPEAKER_21: Well, it's like it's a listening crowd.
• 2:31
SPEAKER_21: At least yeah, it's very much a listening crowd.
• 2:33
  SPEAKER_21: A listening crowd.
• 2:34
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 2:34
SPEAKER_03: They were not a uh They're not a dancing crowd.

• 2:58
  SPEAKER_21: I I I I felt the energy was not there.
• 3:02
SPEAKER_21: Not the same energy we had in Madawaska.
• 3:05
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 3:05
SPEAKER_03: So Friday we played the Acadian Festival in Madawaska, and that's we say it all the time, it's our favorite place to play.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and it is because I mean they are into it.
• 3:13
  SPEAKER_21: Into it.
• 3:13
SPEAKER_21: They are dancing, mind dancing, singing, they're they're you know cheering and hooping and twerking.
• 3:20
SPEAKER_21: Oh, that was that was disturbing.
• 3:22
  unknown: Well, a little bit.
• 3:23
SPEAKER_21: Because when I say twerking, I don't mean it was some girl with a nice butt.
• 3:27
SPEAKER_21: No, it was a dude.
• 3:28
SPEAKER_21: And he was probably like 70.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_21: He was probably in his 50s, 60s.
• 3:32
SPEAKER_03: Oh no, no, he was older than that.
• 3:33
  SPEAKER_03: You think so?
• 3:33
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
• 3:34
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, I was I was disturbed.
• 3:35
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.

SPEAKER_21: Well, I I remember I turned around to Chris and I was like, awkward.
• 3:40
SPEAKER_21: And Jerusalem told me on Sunday, she's like, I started laughing you turned to Chris and said that.
• 3:47
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_03: No, I said some things too, but I we won't go uh into it.
• 3:51
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, it was uh it was disturbing, but it was uh yeah.

  SPEAKER_21: Huge crowd.
• 4:09
SPEAKER_21: It was a big crowd.
• 4:10
SPEAKER_21: Because you know, before we're always like, well, we you know, there's a lot of people here already.
• 4:14
SPEAKER_21: Who knows how many are here to see, you know.
• 4:16
SPEAKER_21: I mean, a lot of people stay.
• 4:17
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, you know, we're about to.
• 4:19
SPEAKER_21: But when you're the only one and there's nothing else to do, and there's nothing else going on, right?
• 4:24
  SPEAKER_21: You're like, oh, okay.
• 4:25
  SPEAKER_21: Yep.
• 4:26
SPEAKER_21: So this this is the crowd.
• 4:28
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 4:29
SPEAKER_03: So and um they've already booked us for next year.
• 4:32
  SPEAKER_21: I know, yeah.
• 4:32
SPEAKER_21: They're they're they they love us and we love them.
• 4:34
SPEAKER_21: So it works out well.
• 4:35
  SPEAKER_03: It was great.
• 4:36
SPEAKER_03: So that yeah, that was a great show.
• 4:38
  SPEAKER_03: Um what else?
• 4:39
  SPEAKER_03: Anything else?
• 4:41
SPEAKER_03: We got a show Friday in Holton.
• 4:42
SPEAKER_03: We have a show this Friday in Holton.
• 4:44
SPEAKER_03: And then we have only two more shows after that, right?
• 4:46
  SPEAKER_03: Three.
• 4:46
  SPEAKER_03: Three.
• 4:47
  SPEAKER_03: What's the third one?
• 4:48
  SPEAKER_03: So Marshall?
• 4:49
  SPEAKER_21: We got Prescott.
• 4:50
SPEAKER_21: Oh, yeah, Prescott the the truck uh classic car something on Main Street again.
• 4:55
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 4:55
SPEAKER_03: And then Marcel and then Easton.
• 4:57
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I knew the the other two, but I forgot about the Prescott.
• 4:59
  SPEAKER_21: No, we're not.
• 4:59
SPEAKER_21: And then Skinny Elvis has a gig in between all that.
• 5:02
  SPEAKER_03: Crown Main Balloon Fest.
• 5:03
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so that'll be fun.
• 5:05
  SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah.
• 5:06
SPEAKER_03: So we got a lot going on musically.
• 5:09
  SPEAKER_21: Musically, we are bizarre.
• 5:11
SPEAKER_03: Uh, we do have kind of a busy podcast uh today because I have a lot of music to listen to.
• 5:18
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 5:18
SPEAKER_03: Um because we're gonna go over September new releases.
• 5:23
SPEAKER_03: Um uh I want to hear uh well actually let's do the who-dis first.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_03: Let's get that out of the way.
• 5:30
SPEAKER_03: Uh we should have a Where you at?
• 5:32
SPEAKER_03: We should have like a music thing uh for one later.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_03: I wonder if I wonder if just on a whim.
• 5:39
SPEAKER_19: I'm gonna go to YouTube and type in who does and see if see if there's like a probably not, but there's a song called Hootus.
• 5:55
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 5:56
SPEAKER_03: Um let's just listen to this for a second.
• 6:01
  SPEAKER_03: Just for a second.
• 6:07
SPEAKER_03: Let's well, actually, let's just let's just use the beginning of it.
• 6:12
SPEAKER_03: It's time to play WhoDis.
• 6:17
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I don't like it.
• 6:19
  SPEAKER_03: I don't like it.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, um and what this is, is a new thing that we're doing where we get uh suggestions from listeners about bands or artists that uh we may not know and we listen to it and kind of react to it.
• 6:33
SPEAKER_03: And we did this band last week, and it was your idea to kind of stretch it out.
• 6:38
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, a little bit.
• 6:38
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, not do them all once.
• 6:40
SPEAKER_03: Right, so um Bob the Painter Bob the Painter, yes we can suggested a band called Pussifer.
• 6:50
  SPEAKER_03: I th I don't I still don't know.
• 6:52
  SPEAKER_21: I assume that's the the that's what I've been saying.
• 6:55
  SPEAKER_03: P-U-S-C-I-F-F-E R.
• 6:57
  SPEAKER_03: I'm Pussifer.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_03: It's either Pussifer or Pussifer.
• 7:00
  SPEAKER_03: I'm not sure.
• 7:01
SPEAKER_03: I'm going with Pussifer as well.
• 7:02
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 7:02
SPEAKER_03: Um and we discovered, actually, you knew this, but uh, we discovered that it's Maynard James Keenan from Tool and the Perfect Circle.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_03: It's a different project that that he had going on.
• 7:13
SPEAKER_03: So Bob wanted us to listen to three songs.
• 7:16
SPEAKER_03: We started one last week, and we're gonna start number two uh today, and this is a song.
• 7:21
SPEAKER_03: He said, and I'll actually I'll read you uh verbatim what he said because it's it's important.
• 7:27
SPEAKER_03: Um and uh again, you know, we are uh playing these uh songs on the podcast, uh hoping that um uh let's see, hoping that we don't get caught because we don't know if we're what we're doing is illegal or not.
• 7:41
SPEAKER_21: But well, under fair use, we can use them for commentary.
• 7:45
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, I think that's probably so I think we're covered.
• 7:48
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, so let's see.
• 7:50
SPEAKER_03: He said a song called Grand Canyon.
• 7:53
SPEAKER_03: He said, get at least Was it the other one?
• 7:55
SPEAKER_21: What was the other one?
• 7:56
SPEAKER_21: The one we did last week, called it The Humbling River.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, what what is what is this nature theme going on?
• 8:00
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, that's good point.
• 8:02
SPEAKER_03: Uh the song Grand Canyon, he said, get at least to two minutes to get a sense of the song.
• 8:08
SPEAKER_03: Minute 340 to 450 gets experimental, and the vid and the video is kind of mesmerizing.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_03: So we'll just play the first couple minutes uh of Grand Canyon from Pussifer.
• 8:24
  SPEAKER_21: Now you can't fool me, that's a sunset.
• 8:27
SPEAKER_21: Probably in the Grand Canyon.
• 8:28
  SPEAKER_21: I doubt it, I don't see a canyon anywhere.
• 8:32
  SPEAKER_21: Still no canyon.
• 8:38
  SPEAKER_21: This video is alive.
• 8:54
  SPEAKER_21: Those are Joshua trees.
• 8:55
  SPEAKER_21: It's definitely the desert.
• 10:22
SPEAKER_03: That was a sense of the song, according to Bob.
• 10:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 10:25
SPEAKER_03: Um well, I'll go with you first.
• 10:28
SPEAKER_03: What are you what thoughts?
• 10:30
SPEAKER_21: Well, it's it's in that same vein of like you said last week, Americana.
• 10:34
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 10:35
SPEAKER_21: You know, it's that just kind of very simplistic you know, you know what I mean?
• 10:41
  SPEAKER_03: I really like it.
• 10:42
SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's and I gotta think one of the reasons that Bob likes it is because it's uh drone-like and relaxing.
• 10:53
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, I get that.
• 10:54
SPEAKER_21: He probably could listen to it.
• 10:55
SPEAKER_21: That's probably why I don't like it as much as I like Tool or A Perfect Circle.
• 11:00
SPEAKER_03: Well, I uh you gotta think that Bob the Painter, while he's painting, probably listens to Song.
• 11:03
  SPEAKER_21: Oh, sure, yeah.
• 11:04
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, I get that.
• 11:05
SPEAKER_03: Um and I'm just speaking personally, so I'm speaking personally when I say I like this, but I also like songs and music that go somewhere.
• 11:14
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 11:14
  SPEAKER_03: And this this doesn't.
• 11:16
  SPEAKER_03: It's not really it's nice, it's beautiful.
• 11:19
SPEAKER_03: Uh and and I think the word that he said about the video was mesmerizing.
• 11:23
SPEAKER_03: I think the music is.
• 11:24
SPEAKER_03: Well the video is mesmerizing.
• 11:25
SPEAKER_03: I think the music is too, kind of.
• 11:27
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 11:27
SPEAKER_03: But it's just not, you know, I like songs.
• 11:29
SPEAKER_21: But it's like a typical tool video, you know, like, you know, just weird images and nature and stuff like that.
• 11:37
SPEAKER_03: So yeah, no, I I dig it.
• 11:39
  SPEAKER_03: I dig it.
• 11:39
  SPEAKER_03: It's just you know, it's it's a it's a drone.
• 11:43
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 11:43
SPEAKER_03: Basically, is is what it is.
• 11:45
SPEAKER_03: Uh that's Pussifer and Grand Canyon.
• 11:49
SPEAKER_03: We'll hear one more song from Pussifer on the next uh episode.
• 11:53
SPEAKER_03: Next week, tune in more Possifer.
• 11:56
SPEAKER_03: Um I did want to uh share a couple of things with you.
• 12:00
SPEAKER_03: Um there is a band that I discovered uh just before you got here, actually.
• 12:07
  SPEAKER_03: Um were they lost?
• 12:09
  SPEAKER_03: Nope.
• 12:10
SPEAKER_03: Uh the article was Rush endorses this band uh after Devin Townsend basically uh trashed them.
• 12:25
SPEAKER_03: So Devin Townsend is a is a another rock artist, but he and he was actually you know, I don't know why you have to trash any band.
• 12:33
SPEAKER_03: If you don't like it, you don't like it.
• 12:35
SPEAKER_03: But trashing them is you know.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_21: Um Well, I say unkind things about nickelback.
• 12:41
  SPEAKER_21: That's true.
• 12:42
  SPEAKER_21: Um I don't I don't mean it.
• 12:45
SPEAKER_21: I don't know that you trash them though.
• 12:46
  SPEAKER_21: I don't trash them, because I I think they're good musicians.
• 12:48
  SPEAKER_21: Sure.
• 12:49
SPEAKER_21: And they're good at what they do.
• 12:50
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, I just don't I just don't like it.
• 12:52
SPEAKER_21: There's a song or two that you like.
• 12:53
  SPEAKER_21: I there's one song though.
• 12:54
SPEAKER_21: One s one song that you like.
• 12:55
  SPEAKER_03: One song.
• 12:56
  SPEAKER_03: One single song.
• 12:57
SPEAKER_03: So um but uh Rush came out and said uh and endorsed this band.
• 13:02
SPEAKER_03: So I was like, I've never heard of this band.
• 13:04
SPEAKER_03: So I looked them up.
• 13:06
SPEAKER_03: And what I'd like to do is I'm gonna play because I found a a uh like a concert or or a performance, a full performance.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_03: Several songs, no audience, but several songs.
• 13:20
SPEAKER_03: So I find I figured I would just play a little bit of it with your eyes closed.
• 13:26
SPEAKER_03: So I want you I want you to close your eyes.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_03: That was like nap time for Doug.
• 13:31
SPEAKER_03: It's nap time nap time.
• 13:32
SPEAKER_03: I just want you to listen to the music.
• 13:33
  SPEAKER_03: Alright.
• 13:34
SPEAKER_03: Uh it's important because then I'm gonna show you who's making the music.
• 13:38
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 13:39
  SPEAKER_03: Okay?
• 13:39
  SPEAKER_03: Alright.
• 13:40
SPEAKER_03: So go ahead and and close your eyes.
• 13:42
SPEAKER_03: Alright, I'm not looking at you! Do not look at this one.
• 13:45
SPEAKER_03: You better be wearing clothes when I open them again.
• 13:47
SPEAKER_03: This is a band out of Canada.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_03: It's a duo called Angie De Poitrine.
• 13:54
SPEAKER_03: And I looked it up, it basically means chest pain.
• 13:59
  SPEAKER_21: Great.
• 14:00
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 14:00
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so just just take a listen.
• 14:06
SPEAKER_21: Why is everything in French?
• 14:08
SPEAKER_21: They must be from Quebec.
• 14:11
  SPEAKER_03: All right, let's listen.
• 14:15
SPEAKER_03: Your eyes are closed, right?
• 14:16
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 14:16
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 14:23
SPEAKER_03: Don't open them until I tell you.
• 14:57
  SPEAKER_03: I think it's pretty compressed.
• 15:04
  SPEAKER_21: It sounds really small.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_21: It's got an old rush feel to it, right?
• 15:19
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 15:20
  SPEAKER_21: Like pre-Neil Pierce.
• 15:31
  SPEAKER_03: All right.
• 15:32
SPEAKER_03: Keep your eyes closed because I'm gonna try and get to a different song.
• 15:38
SPEAKER_03: I think this is a different song, so just keep your eyes closed.
• 16:23
SPEAKER_03: Because of the odd time.
• 16:30
SPEAKER_03: And they they there's only two of them, so they do use a loop pedal.
• 16:36
SPEAKER_03: Why don't you go ahead and open your eyes and look at the screen?
• 16:51
SPEAKER_21: What the frick am I looking at?
• 17:31
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, the music, I mean.
• 17:45
SPEAKER_21: Imagine the Mad Hatter on crack.
• 17:51
SPEAKER_21: Like take the you know, take the cast of uh Alice in Wonderland and put a put a guitar put a guitar and drum set in there.
• 18:03

• 18:22
SPEAKER_03: That is the first uh that is the first video that I found.

• 32:08
SPEAKER_03: But you would buy what is it like seven to ten records for a penny, and all you have to do is promise to buy one at full price that year?
• 32:21
SPEAKER_21: Or that it seemed like it was like every month.
• 32:24
  SPEAKER_03: Was it every month?
• 32:25

• 32:43
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 32:43
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 32:44

SPEAKER_03: Uh it was launched in 1955 by Columbia Records.
• 32:57
SPEAKER_03: Um after 915, September 15, 26, the Columbia House will no longer be accepting new orders.
• 33:04
SPEAKER_03: Uh you can you can still purchase books with your credit card or credits as normal.
• 33:08
  SPEAKER_03: Books.
• 33:09
SPEAKER_03: So they must have done books.
• 33:09
  SPEAKER_03: I don't want books.
• 33:10
SPEAKER_03: They must have done books too.
• 33:11
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
• 33:12
SPEAKER_03: Um by the mid-90s, it boasted more than 16 million members and was a significant force in the music industry, accounting for over 15% of CD sales in America.
• 33:25
SPEAKER_03: Sixteen million members, only five people are actually buying paper of the company regularly offered new subscribers 10 CDs for just a penny when they signed up.
• 33:34
SPEAKER_03: However, after successfully surviving many new changes in the music industry, Columbia House proved unable to handle the digital revolution.
• 33:41
SPEAKER_03: A failed merger with CD Now in 1999, foreshadowed future struggles.
• 33:47
SPEAKER_03: Uh anyway, um a series of ownership changes.
• 33:50
SPEAKER_03: They filed for bankruptcy in 2015, stopped selling music entirely, instead focusing on DVDs and Blu-rays.
• 33:58
SPEAKER_03: Um yeah, so they haven't been viable for 10, 20 years.
• 34:03
SPEAKER_21: At least since the 90s, yeah.
• 34:05
SPEAKER_03: So but but if you did purchase uh you know if you did get your 10 CDs and you owed them an album, you're off the hook.
• 34:12
  SPEAKER_03: Yep, you're good.
• 34:13
  SPEAKER_03: You're good.
• 34:13
SPEAKER_03: You are free and clear, my friend.
• 34:15
  SPEAKER_03: Move on.
• 34:16
SPEAKER_21: Go on with your life.
• 34:18
SPEAKER_03: Um, so this is the last piece of music I wanted to play because uh I think it's pretty cool.
• 34:26
SPEAKER_03: So Richie Blackmore, uh the legendary guitar player for Deep Purple and founder of Deep Purple, reached out to the band uh recently because they were going to be playing in New York, which is where Richie lives.
• 34:40
SPEAKER_03: And he's he's kind of a uh there's a lot of uh folklore about Richie Blackmore, about he was hard to work with and um just he's just a interesting fellow is a is a good way to put it.
• 34:58
  SPEAKER_03: Um and very reclusive.
• 35:01
SPEAKER_03: Uh but he reached out to them to see if he could jam with them on on just one song after 33 years.
• 35:09
SPEAKER_03: And so they said absolutely.
• 35:12
SPEAKER_03: So he came out and w what song do you think he did?
• 35:18
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you do.
• 35:19
SPEAKER_03: What song of Deep Purples do you think Richie Blackmore played?
• 35:29
SPEAKER_03: This is this is them bringing him out.
• 35:32
SPEAKER_03: Now keep smoke on the water.
• 35:35
SPEAKER_03: Oh now keep in mind Richie Blackmore is how old is he?
• 35:42
  SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
• 35:43
SPEAKER_21: Gotta be in his 70s.
• 35:46
  SPEAKER_21: I think he's older than that.
• 35:47
  SPEAKER_21: Could be.
• 35:49
  SPEAKER_03: He's 81.
• 35:50
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 35:52
SPEAKER_03: So I watched it, and my first reaction was he's not very good.
• 36:01
SPEAKER_03: Because I mean, most most guitar players from that era looked to Richie as inspiration, and and if you listen to old Deep Purple and even old Rainbow, right, he was amazing.
• 36:13
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 36:15
SPEAKER_03: Um the solo that he did this night on smok on Smoke on the Water was not that impressive.
• 36:24
SPEAKER_03: But I soon was like, who cares?
• 36:29
  SPEAKER_03: He's 81.
• 36:30
SPEAKER_03: He's not only is he 81, but he returned to the stage with this band.
• 36:38
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 36:38
SPEAKER_03: You know, that's what it's all about.
• 36:41
SPEAKER_03: And people were criticizing him as well.
• 36:45
SPEAKER_03: And he responded to that criticism by saying, I don't care how I played.
• 36:51
SPEAKER_03: I was up there with my friends.
• 36:52
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 36:53
  SPEAKER_03: You know?
• 36:53
  SPEAKER_21: Makes sense.
• 36:54
SPEAKER_21: Uh I hope we're still doing that at 81.
• 36:57
  SPEAKER_21: I know, right?
• 37:00
  SPEAKER_03: Uh, here we go.
• 37:24
SPEAKER_03: Keep in mind he doesn't even play this music anymore.
• 37:26
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 37:27
SPEAKER_03: It's like classical guitar and stuff.
• 37:40
SPEAKER_03: And the band was very gracious.
• 37:43
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
• 37:51
SPEAKER_03: One of my favorite guitar players, actually.
• 37:54
SPEAKER_03: It's in Deep Purple now, Simon McBride.
• 37:56
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
• 38:07
SPEAKER_03: Taking his hand and now those two, Ian Gillen and Richie Blackmore used to fight all the time.
• 38:20
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, yeah.
• 38:21
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 38:22
SPEAKER_03: And just to see them up there together is pretty cool.
• 38:25
  SPEAKER_03: So bygones be bygones.
• 38:27
SPEAKER_03: Like a yeah, I mean, I mean, after after that long um playing together and, you know, I just think it was pretty cool.
• 38:37
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 38:37
SPEAKER_03: Um a neat little reunion.
• 38:39
  SPEAKER_21: Needle mosquito.
• 38:41
  SPEAKER_21: Needle mosquito.
• 38:43
  SPEAKER_21: Uh, all right.
• 38:44
SPEAKER_21: So I got a couple things before you move on.
• 38:48
  SPEAKER_21: That's right.
• 38:48
SPEAKER_21: Before we make it all about you.
• 38:50
SPEAKER_03: Well, it does say O'Brien and Doug, so I get it.
• 38:56
  SPEAKER_03: What do you got?
• 38:57
  SPEAKER_21: Second fiddle.
• 38:59
  SPEAKER_21: What do you got?
• 39:00
SPEAKER_21: Well, I want to acknowledge number one, I want to acknowledge that uh Sunday was the anniversary of the death of the greatest bluesman, Robert Johnson.
• 39:11
SPEAKER_21: So I want to acknowledge that.
• 39:12
SPEAKER_21: Okay, hold on one second.
• 39:14
  SPEAKER_21: 1936, I want to say.
• 39:19
SPEAKER_03: I think I have some in here.
• 39:20
  SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
• 39:21
SPEAKER_03: Let's just because you can't really talk about it without well, you gotta have Robert Johnson.
• 39:26
SPEAKER_03: You gotta have it, man.
• 39:27
SPEAKER_20: He only had 29 songs.
• 39:30
  SPEAKER_20: I do, I do, I do.
• 39:33
  SPEAKER_20: Yeah.
• 39:34
  SPEAKER_21: There you go.
• 39:37
SPEAKER_18: I'm gonna get up in the morning.
• 39:40
  SPEAKER_18: I believe my room.
• 39:44
SPEAKER_03: Huge influence on every blue guitar player that came after him.
• 39:48
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 39:49
SPEAKER_18: I believe it was my room.
• 40:02
  SPEAKER_03: There you go.
• 40:07
  SPEAKER_21: How how long?
• 40:08
  SPEAKER_21: What's the anniversary?
• 40:08
  SPEAKER_21: Uh how long?
• 40:10
SPEAKER_21: I want to say it was 1936.
• 40:12
SPEAKER_21: So it's you know, it's been we're we're creeping up on like 90 years.
• 40:15
  SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
• 40:16
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 40:16
SPEAKER_03: So all right, I'll just let that play.
• 40:18
SPEAKER_21: So what's the other thing that you uh Well, I was watching a video on Mandela effect things.
• 40:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 40:24
SPEAKER_21: And I was like, there's gotta be music ones.
• 40:28
  SPEAKER_21: Right?
• 40:28
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 40:29
SPEAKER_21: So I found a few music ones.
• 40:30
SPEAKER_21: I I wanted to bounce them off of you.
• 40:32
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 40:33
SPEAKER_21: Because you're like Wicked Smack.
• 40:36
  SPEAKER_03: Not really.
• 40:37
SPEAKER_03: Um I'm gonna you want me to kill this?
• 40:39
SPEAKER_21: No, you can keep that blind.
• 40:40
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 40:41
  SPEAKER_21: I like it.
• 40:41
  SPEAKER_21: It's like okay.
• 40:42
SPEAKER_21: So if you don't know what the Mandela effect is, um, I'm gonna give you the simplified, oversimplified version.
• 40:50
SPEAKER_21: It's where a bunch of people think that one thing is happened, but in reality it's not what happened, that kind of thing.
• 40:59
  SPEAKER_21: Right.
• 41:00
  SPEAKER_21: Like, remember happy days?
• 41:01
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 41:02
  SPEAKER_21: Okay, Fonzi.
• 41:03
SPEAKER_21: What what color was his jacket?
• 41:05
SPEAKER_03: I always thought it was brown.
• 41:07
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, it's brown, but a lot of people say it's black.
• 41:09
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 41:09
  SPEAKER_21: So that's that's a Mandela.
• 41:11
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 41:12
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 41:12
  SPEAKER_21: Yep.
• 41:13
SPEAKER_21: Uh like the three wise men.
• 41:15
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 41:15
  SPEAKER_21: Yep.
• 41:16
  SPEAKER_21: In the Bible.
• 41:16
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 41:18
SPEAKER_21: The Bible doesn't mention three at all.
• 41:20
  SPEAKER_21: Just as wiseman?
• 41:22
SPEAKER_21: It just says wiseman from the East.
• 41:24
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 41:24
SPEAKER_21: They they they they assume it's three because there were three gifts.
• 41:27
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 41:27
  SPEAKER_03: Frankenstein's golden myrrh.
• 41:29
  SPEAKER_21: Right.
• 41:29
  SPEAKER_21: Right.
• 41:29
SPEAKER_21: So so that's another Mandela effect.
• 41:31
SPEAKER_21: So that's what we're dealing with here.
• 41:32
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 41:32
SPEAKER_21: Okay, so these are these are musical ones I I heard.
• 41:35
  SPEAKER_21: Okay, so Billy Joel.
• 41:37
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 41:37
  SPEAKER_21: Piano man.
• 41:38
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 41:39
SPEAKER_21: This the lyric goes, son, can you play me a melody or a memory?
• 41:46
  unknown: I believe it.
• 41:47
  SPEAKER_03: Memory.
• 41:47
  SPEAKER_21: Yes.
• 41:48
  SPEAKER_21: Correct.
• 41:49
  SPEAKER_21: Thank you.
• 41:49
SPEAKER_21: A lot of people think it's melody.
• 41:52
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 41:53
  SPEAKER_21: Eurythmix.
• 41:54
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 41:54
SPEAKER_21: Sweet dreams are made of this or these.
• 41:59
SPEAKER_03: Uh well, there's an accent there.
• 42:02
SPEAKER_03: I always thought it was these, but it's this.
• 42:05
  SPEAKER_03: It is this.
• 42:05
  SPEAKER_03: It is this.
• 42:06
SPEAKER_03: That's what she says it that way.
• 42:08
SPEAKER_21: That's why it sounds like that's why everybody thinks it's these, because it sounds like she's saying she's rhyming the uh this with dream.
• 42:14
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 42:14
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 42:15
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 42:15
SPEAKER_21: So you good a good job, Mr.
• 42:17
  SPEAKER_21: Two for two.
• 42:18
  SPEAKER_21: Joan Jett.
• 42:19
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 42:20
SPEAKER_21: I saw him standing there or dancing there by the record machine.
• 42:28
SPEAKER_03: Uh I'm gonna say standing.
• 42:30
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 42:30
  SPEAKER_03: Is it dancing?
• 42:31
  SPEAKER_03: It's dancing there.
• 42:34
SPEAKER_21: I didn't, I thought it was standing there too.
• 42:35
SPEAKER_03: Standing there by the regular machine.
• 42:37
  SPEAKER_03: So she says dancing.
• 42:38
  SPEAKER_03: It's dancing.
• 42:39
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 42:40
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 42:41
SPEAKER_03: Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
• 42:43
  SPEAKER_03: I don't think I have that in here, do I?
• 42:45
  SPEAKER_03: I have no idea.
• 42:46
  SPEAKER_03: I just want I I don't know what you have! Not that I don't believe you.
• 42:49
  SPEAKER_03: I do.
• 42:49
SPEAKER_03: I just want to see.
• 42:50
SPEAKER_03: I just want to uh uh let's see.
• 42:54
  SPEAKER_03: Do I have I don't think I do have any job?
• 42:59
  SPEAKER_03: Hold on one second.
• 43:00
SPEAKER_03: Let me just go here.
• 43:04
  SPEAKER_03: Uh rock and roll.
• 43:07
  SPEAKER_03: So she says dancing?
• 43:09
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 43:10
  SPEAKER_21: That's according to you're probably right.
• 43:13
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 43:24
  SPEAKER_02: Yep.
• 43:28
  SPEAKER_11: Yep.
• 43:28
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 43:29
  SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
• 43:30
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 43:33
SPEAKER_03: I don't know why I thought it was standing.
• 43:35
SPEAKER_21: But yeah, but it sounds like standing, yeah.
• 43:37
  SPEAKER_21: Standing makes more sense.
• 43:38
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 43:39
  SPEAKER_21: So, you know, interesting.
• 43:41
  SPEAKER_21: Especially with a guy.
• 43:42
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 43:42
  SPEAKER_21: You know, I don't know.
• 43:43
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 43:43
  SPEAKER_21: Guys don't dance.
• 43:44
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 43:45
  SPEAKER_03: Real men don't dance.
• 43:46
  SPEAKER_21: That's dumb.
• 43:47
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 43:48
  SPEAKER_21: Anyway.
• 43:49
SPEAKER_21: Uh Men Without Hats, the safety dance.
• 43:51
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 43:52
SPEAKER_21: Is it we can dance or you can dance?
• 43:55
SPEAKER_21: You can dance if you want to.
• 44:11
SPEAKER_21: We can we can sing a you do Michael Jackson Mama always killed me or mother always told me I think it's mother.
• 44:41
  SPEAKER_21: It is mother.
• 44:42
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, but everybody thinks it's mama because it's just the way he like phrases it.
• 44:47
  SPEAKER_21: But it's actually mother.
• 44:48
  SPEAKER_21: Interesting.
• 44:50
SPEAKER_21: And last but not least, this one's a visual one.
• 44:53
  SPEAKER_21: Bruce Ringstein.
• 44:55
SPEAKER_21: More than the USA cover.
• 44:57
SPEAKER_21: What's in his back pocket?
• 45:00
  SPEAKER_21: Nope.
• 45:01
  SPEAKER_21: Handkerchief?
• 45:02
  SPEAKER_21: Nope.
• 45:03
  SPEAKER_21: It's a hat.
• 45:05
  SPEAKER_21: Is it really?
• 45:06
  SPEAKER_21: Everybody thinks it's a bandana, but it's a hat.
• 45:09
  SPEAKER_21: It's a red hat.
• 45:11
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 45:13
  SPEAKER_03: That's just really cool.
• 45:15
  SPEAKER_21: It's interesting, isn't it?
• 45:16
SPEAKER_21: It makes you think about things.
• 45:17
SPEAKER_21: You're like, you know, what the Fonzi thing.
• 45:21
  SPEAKER_21: I was like, man, that's a black coat.
• 45:22
SPEAKER_21: And then they showed, you know, like clips from the show, and it's brown.
• 45:26
  SPEAKER_21: It's a it's a dark brown.
• 45:28
SPEAKER_21: So you think it's yeah.
• 45:29
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 45:30
  SPEAKER_21: So yeah.
• 45:31
SPEAKER_03: I'm looking at the cover to uh Born in the USA right now.
• 45:34
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:34
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:35
  SPEAKER_03: It's a hat.
• 45:36
  SPEAKER_03: That's a baseball cap or something.
• 45:37
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:38
  SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
• 45:39
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, everybody thinks it's a bandana, but no, it's a hat.
• 45:42
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know why I said gloves.
• 45:43
SPEAKER_21: Well, it could be gloves.
• 45:44
SPEAKER_21: I mean, that makes sense.
• 45:45
SPEAKER_03: You know, because he's like the working man.
• 45:47
  SPEAKER_03: Right, yeah.
• 45:48
  SPEAKER_21: Even though he's I know.
• 45:52
  SPEAKER_21: Well, that's cool.
• 45:52
SPEAKER_21: Well, he is the boss, so he's not gonna get his hands dirty.
• 45:55
  SPEAKER_21: That's probably true.
• 45:56
SPEAKER_03: Uh uh, yeah, that was cool.
• 45:58
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 45:59
SPEAKER_21: I thought those were interesting.
• 46:00
  SPEAKER_21: The Mandela Effect.
• 46:00
  SPEAKER_21: Mandela Infect Music Edition.
• 46:03
  SPEAKER_21: All right.
• 46:03
  SPEAKER_21: Oh.
• 46:05
SPEAKER_03: Uh, we are speaking of 80s, because we were just a second ago.
• 46:09
SPEAKER_03: It's time to play Poorly Explained Movies.
• 46:12
  SPEAKER_03: The 80s edition.
• 46:13
SPEAKER_03: Yay! I have picked three that I think that I think you could get, and one that I don't think you will.
• 46:20
SPEAKER_03: And again, there's there's a large possibility that we've already done these.
• 46:26
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 46:27
  SPEAKER_03: Um, but maybe not.
• 46:30
SPEAKER_03: Uh a woman is impressed by a big bill.
• 46:36
  SPEAKER_03: Howard the Duck.
• 46:38
SPEAKER_03: Have we already done it?
• 46:39
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 46:40
  SPEAKER_03: We have?
• 46:41
  SPEAKER_20: Yeah.
• 46:42
  SPEAKER_20: Told you.
• 46:44
SPEAKER_03: Uh a boy becomes a cult leader on his family vacation.
• 46:53
  SPEAKER_03: In space.
• 46:54
  SPEAKER_03: That's the hint.
• 46:56
  SPEAKER_03: 1984.
• 47:02
  SPEAKER_21: A cult leader.
• 47:04
  SPEAKER_21: This is explorers?
• 47:06
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 47:06
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 47:07
SPEAKER_03: We may have done this too.
• 47:08
SPEAKER_03: If I say it, you tell me if we've done it.
• 47:12
  SPEAKER_03: They recently remade it.
• 47:15
  SPEAKER_03: Science fiction.
• 47:17
SPEAKER_03: A boy becomes a cult leader on his family video.
• 47:19
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I have no idea.
• 47:20
  SPEAKER_03: In space.
• 47:21
  SPEAKER_03: Dune.
• 47:22
SPEAKER_21: Oh, no, I never saw the original.
• 47:24
  SPEAKER_21: No?
• 47:24
SPEAKER_21: Well, I've never seen any of them.
• 47:27
  SPEAKER_21: Um.
• 47:28
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, they did read.
• 47:30

• 48:29
  SPEAKER_21: Well.

SPEAKER_21: I could get on the floor.
• 48:32
  SPEAKER_21: And then that's it.
• 48:33
SPEAKER_21: Then knock it back up.
• 48:34
SPEAKER_21: You're going to have to drag me and spin me around.
• 48:38
SPEAKER_03: Um This one is the one I don't think you'll get, but maybe you will.
• 48:43
SPEAKER_03: A lady tries out a new recipe.
• 48:50
SPEAKER_03: The hint is she boils a rabbit.
• 48:53
SPEAKER_21: Oh, it's got to be fatal attraction.
• 48:54
SPEAKER_21: Wow, you did get it.
• 48:56
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 48:56
  SPEAKER_21: Fatal attraction.
• 48:57
  SPEAKER_03: Yes, 1987.
• 48:59
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's uh that's a disturbing.
• 49:01
SPEAKER_03: That is a yeah, for every man in America.
• 49:04
  SPEAKER_03: For sure.
• 49:06
SPEAKER_03: All right, there it is.
• 49:07
  SPEAKER_03: Poorly explained movies.
• 49:09
SPEAKER_03: Which can only mean one thing.
• 49:12
  SPEAKER_19: It's gonna be time.
• 49:15
SPEAKER_17: Time for everyone's favorite part of the show.
• 49:18
SPEAKER_17: With everyone's favorites, O'Brien, Doug, Cousin Larry, and yours truly, Miss Judge Ness, Judge Ness, Judge Ness.
• 49:27
SPEAKER_17: It's time to play next day.
• 49:32
  SPEAKER_03: Alright.
• 49:34
SPEAKER_03: You have uh Miss Judgeness?
• 49:39
  SPEAKER_21: Yes, I do.
• 49:40
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 49:41
SPEAKER_21: Let me just uh find the cord here.
• 49:48
  SPEAKER_21: Alright! Are you ready?
• 49:50
  SPEAKER_21: Yes, I alright then.
• 49:52
  SPEAKER_21: Alright, here we go.
• 49:53
  SPEAKER_21: You ready?
• 49:53
  SPEAKER_21: Yep.
• 49:55
  SPEAKER_17: Hey guys.
• 49:56
SPEAKER_17: Um, I apologize for the windedness.
• 49:59
SPEAKER_17: I am out doing a two-hour trial run and just finished the podcast.
• 50:04
SPEAKER_17: Uh surprisingly, although it is Metallica, I have to go with O'Brien's pick this week, wipe out.
• 50:11
SPEAKER_17: It is a great pick for snow day.
• 50:14
SPEAKER_17: Um, I don't know about you guys, but when I would slide on uh snow sleds, I spent more time wiping out than anything.
• 50:20
SPEAKER_17: And ironically, right as that song started playing, I slipped on a moss-covered rock and wiped out.
• 50:27
SPEAKER_17: So it was all fitting.
• 50:30
  SPEAKER_03: You shouldn't be laughing.
• 50:32
SPEAKER_03: She does that a lot.
• 50:34
SPEAKER_03: Well, that's kind of cool.
• 50:35
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 50:36
SPEAKER_03: I didn't expect to uh beat Metallic.
• 50:38
  SPEAKER_03: There you go.
• 50:39
  SPEAKER_03: Um yeah.
• 50:41
SPEAKER_03: So let's go to this week's question.
• 50:46
SPEAKER_03: Um I forgot what the question was.
• 50:52
SPEAKER_03: So you don't remember what you picked?
• 50:53
  SPEAKER_21: I don't even remember what I picked.
• 50:55
SPEAKER_03: The song that plays as your firstborn leaves the net to head off to college.
• 51:01
  SPEAKER_21: Right, right.
• 51:03
SPEAKER_21: I don't really have any I don't really have a dog in this fight.
• 51:09
SPEAKER_21: Well, you can still pick one.
• 51:11
  SPEAKER_21: I know, but I don't even know what I picked.
• 51:12
  SPEAKER_21: Like goodbye.
• 51:17
  SPEAKER_21: See you later.
• 51:19
SPEAKER_21: What did Cousin Larry say?
• 51:20
  SPEAKER_21: Well let's find out.
• 51:22
SPEAKER_21: He's always got awful stuff.
• 51:30
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 51:32
  SPEAKER_21: Mixtape.
• 51:33
SPEAKER_21: This was a tough one.
• 51:34
SPEAKER_21: Not because I couldn't think of a song, but because I could I see both sides.
• 51:39
SPEAKER_21: I experienced the exhilaration of being that kid leaving for college and ha and have also had my own children go off to college.
• 51:46
SPEAKER_21: Creams I feel free came to mind because going to college in the Boston area and being on my own completely after my freshman year was exciting.
• 51:56
SPEAKER_21: And as a parent, you hope your child can experience the same feeling.
• 52:00
SPEAKER_21: But also, as a parent, you experience pride and some sadness, and you wish all the success in the world for child.
• 52:09
SPEAKER_21: I have always said that the best thing you can teach your child is how to be independent.
• 52:13
SPEAKER_21: That being said, I will go with Forever Young by Rod Stewart.
• 52:17
  SPEAKER_21: Oh wow.
• 52:18
SPEAKER_21: I know Bob Dylan wrote it, but I like Rod's version better.
• 52:21
SPEAKER_21: The lyrics are a little bit different.
• 52:23
SPEAKER_21: Honorable mention to Teach Your Children by Crosby Stills, Nash, and Young.
• 52:27
SPEAKER_21: And with Arms Wide Open by Creed, watching your child drive away, you can't help but think about when you became a parent.
• 52:36
SPEAKER_03: This is a great song.
• 52:41
SPEAKER_03: Is he sure that Bob Dylan wrote this?
• 52:43
  SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
• 52:44
  SPEAKER_21: I trust cousin Larry.
• 52:45
SPEAKER_21: So if he says so, then he is going with this.
• 52:48
  SPEAKER_21: Very smart man.
• 52:49
  SPEAKER_21: He is.
• 53:59
SPEAKER_03: Bob Dylan received a retroactive co-writing credit and a share of the royalties because the chorus and lyrical phrasing closely mirrored Dylan's version from 1974, leading to a settlement to avoid a potential copyright dispute.
• 54:15
SPEAKER_21: Well, I tell you, that guy makes money off copyright.
• 54:18
SPEAKER_21: Tony and the blowfish, Rod Stewart.
• 54:20
  SPEAKER_21: I mean, man.
• 54:22
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, uh uh.
• 54:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 54:27
  SPEAKER_03: Crazy.
• 54:28
SPEAKER_03: So he so this is not uh Bob Dylan's version, but they're like if you're Bob Dylan's lawyer, you must be busy.
• 54:35
SPEAKER_03: Right, but because now when you look it up, it says uh Rod Stewart's 1988 song Forever Young is officially credited credited now to Rod Stewart, Jim Kriegen, Kevin Savagar, and Bob Dylan.
• 54:45
SPEAKER_03: Okay, two different songs, but they didn't want to get in trouble.
• 54:51
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it makes sense.
• 54:52
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 54:52
SPEAKER_21: Um apparently Dylan's got a bunch of friggin' like an army of lawyers.
• 54:57
  SPEAKER_21: Apparently.
• 54:57
  SPEAKER_21: Jump on anybody.
• 54:59
SPEAKER_21: Uh all right, what was yours?
• 55:01
  SPEAKER_21: I don't know.
• 55:05
  SPEAKER_21: You don't know.
• 55:06
SPEAKER_21: The only thing that I could come up with was that song from Sound of Music.
• 55:13
  SPEAKER_21: That one.
• 55:14
SPEAKER_21: You know, the kids do it before they go to bed or whatever.
• 55:17
  SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
• 55:18
SPEAKER_03: You know what I mean?
• 55:18
  SPEAKER_03: Yes, I do.
• 55:20
SPEAKER_03: Um that's the only thing I can think of.
• 55:23
  SPEAKER_03: Good night song.
• 55:24
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 55:25
  SPEAKER_03: Let's see.
• 55:27
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's really what you thought.
• 55:29
SPEAKER_08: So long, farewell, see you.
• 55:32
  SPEAKER_08: Good night.
• 55:33
SPEAKER_08: I had to go and leave this pretty side.
• 55:44
SPEAKER_00: So long farewell, obey to say adieu.
• 55:48
SPEAKER_00: Adieu, adieu, to you and you and you So long farewell, oh being.
• 56:07
SPEAKER_03: You know that uh Yes?
• 56:08
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 56:10
SPEAKER_03: September third is uh the move-in day for Eli down at uh down in Boston.
• 56:15
  SPEAKER_03: Oh wow.
• 56:16
  SPEAKER_03: So that's a Thursday.
• 56:18
SPEAKER_03: So I'm taking that day off from school and driving him down Wednesday night after school.
• 56:23
  SPEAKER_09: Yeah.
• 56:24
SPEAKER_03: And staying the night and then moving him in Thursday and then coming back for my seventh period class on Friday.
• 56:31
SPEAKER_21: Almost not worth it, man.
• 56:32
SPEAKER_03: Well, uh, I mean, not worth it going to work.
• 56:37
SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, we're gonna drop we're gonna drop him off um and then stay.
• 56:44
  SPEAKER_03: Actually, I don't know.
• 56:45
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think we're gonna stay there Thursday night down at camp.
• 56:48
  SPEAKER_03: We'll stay at camp.
• 56:49
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, okay.
• 56:49
SPEAKER_03: And then we'll drive up Friday morning.
• 56:52
  SPEAKER_03: That makes sense.
• 56:52
SPEAKER_03: Um but my wife is gonna be a mess.
• 56:55
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 56:56
  SPEAKER_03: I probably will too.
• 56:57
SPEAKER_03: I know I was kind of a mess uh when the other two went.
• 57:00
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 57:01
SPEAKER_03: Uh not a mess mess, but boys, it hits you.
• 57:04
  SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah, I bet.
• 57:05
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 57:05
  SPEAKER_03: I bet.
• 57:06
SPEAKER_03: Um I think Jude more than Olivia, because Olivia was in Bangor.
• 57:14
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, she was she was close by.
• 57:15
SPEAKER_21: Right, she was close by.
• 57:16
SPEAKER_03: Jude, we moved him out to Michigan.
• 57:18
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, exactly.
• 57:19
SPEAKER_03: Um, and that was that was rough.
• 57:21
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 57:22
SPEAKER_03: Um and this one's gonna be rough too, even though it's just in Boston, but still.
• 57:26
SPEAKER_21: Well, that's uh, you know, halfway.
• 57:28
SPEAKER_03: It's also, you know, a big urban city, you know, and you know.
• 57:32
SPEAKER_03: Anyway, yeah, we're probably cousin Larry went to college in Boston.
• 57:36
SPEAKER_21: Yes, I know, and he survived.
• 57:38
  SPEAKER_21: He's okay.
• 57:38
SPEAKER_21: And he's like a voiceover artist now.
• 57:40
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, he's he's like super famous, right?
• 57:42
SPEAKER_21: He's like the king of Wyoming.
• 57:43
  unknown: Right.
• 57:44
SPEAKER_21: So oh, your phone's ringing.
• 57:45
  SPEAKER_21: That's okay.
• 57:46
SPEAKER_21: Um I mean your landline.
• 57:49
  SPEAKER_03: I know.
• 57:50
  SPEAKER_03: Must be a telemarketer.
• 57:53
SPEAKER_03: Uh so the song that I chose, the most popular version, is by Tim McGraw.
• 58:02
SPEAKER_03: I'm not going to play that version.
• 58:04
SPEAKER_03: I'm going to play the version from the songwriter.
• 58:07
SPEAKER_03: Uh and again, it's kind of lame, but I I like the words.
• 58:15
SPEAKER_03: And it's called Humble and Kind by Lori McKenna.
• 58:20
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 58:21
SPEAKER_03: Tim McGraw had a big hit with it.
• 58:41
SPEAKER_11: Don't forget the keys under the bed.
• 58:47
  SPEAKER_11: As it's done.
• 58:49
SPEAKER_11: Always stay on the Go to church, go to mom.
• 59:01
  SPEAKER_11: It's a grandpa.
• 59:09
  SPEAKER_11: Always stay on.
• 59:21
  SPEAKER_11: Don't do all light.
• 59:25
  SPEAKER_11: Don't you come out?
• 59:27
  SPEAKER_11: It's the clap.
• 59:29
  SPEAKER_11: Always stay on club.
• 59:46
SPEAKER_11: Let's just feel the pride.
• 59:49
SPEAKER_11: Always stay humble and kind.
• 59:53
SPEAKER_03: One of my favorite songwriters, Lori McKenna.
• 59:57
SPEAKER_03: Always stay humble and kind.
• 59:59
SPEAKER_03: No matter what happens, when you get when you accomplish your dreams, you can be proud of yourself.
• 1:00:04
  SPEAKER_03: Sure.
• 1:00:04
SPEAKER_03: Just stay humble and kind.
• 1:00:06
  SPEAKER_03: Just not too proud.
• 1:00:07
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 1:00:08
  SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
• 1:00:09
  SPEAKER_03: So that's my choice.
• 1:00:10
SPEAKER_03: Humble and kind by Lori McKenna.
• 1:00:13
SPEAKER_03: And yours was the goodnight song.
• 1:00:15
SPEAKER_03: Good night song from The Sound of Music.
• 1:00:17
  SPEAKER_03: Sound of Music.
• 1:00:18
SPEAKER_03: And Forever Young from Rod Stewart.
• 1:00:21
  SPEAKER_03: And Bob Dylan.
• 1:00:22
  SPEAKER_03: And Bob Dylan.
• 1:00:23
SPEAKER_03: We don't want to get sued.
• 1:00:24
  SPEAKER_03: Was Cousin Larry's.
• 1:00:25
SPEAKER_03: Leave us alone, Bob! Was Cousin Larry's pick.
• 1:00:29
SPEAKER_03: So there you go, Miss Judgeness.
• 1:00:31
SPEAKER_03: You have uh a lot of work to do.
• 1:00:33
  SPEAKER_03: Good luck with that.
• 1:00:34
SPEAKER_03: Uh good luck with that.
• 1:00:34
SPEAKER_03: So pick us another one.
• 1:00:36
  SPEAKER_20: Ah, yes.
• 1:00:37
  SPEAKER_20: It's a future time.
• 1:00:40
SPEAKER_20: I have seen the future and it is small.
• 1:00:42
  SPEAKER_20: It is small.
• 1:00:43
  SPEAKER_20: What is that from?
• 1:00:44
  SPEAKER_19: It's a movie.
• 1:00:45
  SPEAKER_20: It is.
• 1:00:46
  SPEAKER_21: I can't, but I can't think of what movie.

  SPEAKER_03: I don't think.
• 1:00:52
SPEAKER_03: I have seen the future and it is small.
• 1:00:58
  SPEAKER_03: What is that from?
• 1:01:02
SPEAKER_03: Um the phrase I have seen the future and it is small plays on Lincoln Stefan's famous 1919 quote about Soviet Russia.
• 1:01:12
  SPEAKER_03: Uh not a movie.
• 1:01:14
  SPEAKER_03: I thought it was.
• 1:01:15
SPEAKER_03: It was in a movie, wasn't it?
• 1:01:17
SPEAKER_20: It seems like it was.
• 1:01:19
SPEAKER_03: Otherwise, why would we know that?
• 1:01:20
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 1:01:23
SPEAKER_03: I've seen the future and it is small.
• 1:01:26
  SPEAKER_03: Let me see.
• 1:01:36
  SPEAKER_03: Interesting.
• 1:01:40
  SPEAKER_03: Wow.
• 1:01:41
  SPEAKER_03: There's I mean, there's a song called I've seen the future, but that's that's not it.
• 1:01:48
SPEAKER_03: And I and the way I'm saying it too is is like it's like from a movie.
• 1:01:52
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:01:52
SPEAKER_20: I have seen the future and it is small.
• 1:01:54
SPEAKER_20: It almost sounds like Kermit.
• 1:01:56
SPEAKER_20: I wonder if it was a cartoon, maybe.
• 1:01:58
  SPEAKER_20: Maybe.
• 1:01:58
  SPEAKER_20: I don't know.
• 1:01:58
SPEAKER_21: What do you got, Bunny?
• 1:02:00
SPEAKER_21: Oh this is another question.
• 1:02:11
SPEAKER_21: Uh this is an easy one.
• 1:02:14
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 1:02:15
  SPEAKER_21: Best song about California.
• 1:02:20
  SPEAKER_03: Best song about California.
• 1:02:22
  SPEAKER_21: Yes.
• 1:02:25
SPEAKER_03: I could make all kinds of jokes here.
• 1:02:27
  SPEAKER_21: Yes, I could too.
• 1:02:28
  SPEAKER_21: But we'll we'll keep it uh we'll refrain.
• 1:02:30
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 1:02:30
  SPEAKER_03: We'll refrain.
• 1:02:31
SPEAKER_03: Oh, I gotta take a picture of it because it's like best song about California.
• 1:02:35
  SPEAKER_03: Song about California.
• 1:02:37
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:02:38
SPEAKER_03: Does it and that doesn't necessarily mean that it has to have California in the title or anything like that.
• 1:02:43
SPEAKER_21: No, just just about California.
• 1:02:46
  SPEAKER_20: Yeah, just about California.
• 1:02:47
SPEAKER_21: Yeah, it doesn't even doesn't even have to be a song you like.
• 1:02:51
  unknown: Right.
• 1:02:51
  SPEAKER_21: Because I don't like California.
• 1:02:53
  SPEAKER_21: Right.
• 1:02:54
SPEAKER_21: But I'm gonna find a song about it.
• 1:02:57
  SPEAKER_03: Something about hell.
• 1:03:01
SPEAKER_19: I think it's gonna be sung by Megadeth.
• 1:03:09
SPEAKER_21: What was that uh what was that Slayer song?
• 1:03:13
  SPEAKER_21: Raining Blood.
• 1:03:15
  SPEAKER_21: That comes to mind.
• 1:03:18
  SPEAKER_21: Oh, another one.
• 1:03:19
  SPEAKER_21: Seasons in Hell.
• 1:03:22
  SPEAKER_21: Seasons in the Abyss.
• 1:03:23
SPEAKER_21: Is that what it is?
• 1:03:24
SPEAKER_03: I thought it was in Seasons in Hell.
• 1:03:26
SPEAKER_03: Well, there might be one called Seasons in the Hell.
• 1:03:27
SPEAKER_03: Seasons of in the Abyss.
• 1:03:28
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:03:29
  SPEAKER_03: I think that's Slayer.
• 1:03:30
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, I think that's Slayer.
• 1:03:31
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:03:32
  SPEAKER_03: Anyway.
• 1:03:32
SPEAKER_21: Well, I you can tell what I'm saying.
• 1:03:35
  SPEAKER_21: Slayer may come up.
• 1:03:36
  SPEAKER_21: We don't know.
• 1:03:38
  SPEAKER_21: Talk about California.
• 1:03:40
  SPEAKER_03: Alright.
• 1:03:41
SPEAKER_03: On that note, we're gonna take a break.
• 1:03:44
SPEAKER_03: We didn't start the fire.
• 1:03:49
SPEAKER_03: California is a very nice place in spots.
• 1:03:52
SPEAKER_21: Well, I mean, I was stationed there for a few months, but it was in the Mojave Desert.
• 1:03:57
  SPEAKER_21: Right.
• 1:03:58
  SPEAKER_21: So I mean everything's dead.
• 1:04:00
  SPEAKER_21: It's all sand.
• 1:04:01
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 1:04:02
SPEAKER_21: Sand and rocks and snakes.
• 1:04:05
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:04:06
  SPEAKER_21: And it's freaking hot.
• 1:04:08
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 1:04:09
SPEAKER_21: But Palm Springs was close by.
• 1:04:12
  SPEAKER_21: That was good.
• 1:04:13
  SPEAKER_21: That's a nice town.
• 1:04:14
  unknown: Yeah.
• 1:04:15
SPEAKER_21: I saw Sonny Bono there.
• 1:04:16
SPEAKER_03: I think there are nice areas of California.
• 1:04:18
  SPEAKER_21: Oh yeah, yeah.
• 1:04:19
SPEAKER_21: I think the northern part is nicer than the Southlands.
• 1:04:23

• 1:04:23

  SPEAKER_21: That is knocker.

SPEAKER_03: We have no fun in the fun dungeon ever.
• 1:06:11
  SPEAKER_03: Ever.
• 1:06:12
  SPEAKER_03: I'll take what'd you say?
• 1:06:13
  SPEAKER_03: I'll take S words.
• 1:06:15
  SPEAKER_03: S for other swords.
• 1:06:22
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so Smash or Trash.
• 1:06:25
SPEAKER_03: And last week's um goodness.
• 1:06:28
SPEAKER_03: Last week's album was in a for the fat fool.
• 1:06:34
SPEAKER_12: That's in a for the fat fool.
• 1:06:38
SPEAKER_12: That's in a for the fat fool.
• 1:06:42
SPEAKER_03: You know, that's the entire those are the entire words.
• 1:06:44
SPEAKER_03: I I believe it, because I'm just like, wow, let's hear it for the fat boy.
• 1:06:53
SPEAKER_03: So it's Gary Moore, who's a legendary blues guitar player, blues rock guitar player, played with Finn Lindsey for years, uh, and had his own solo career as well.
• 1:07:04
SPEAKER_03: Uh amazing, amazing guitar player.
• 1:07:08
SPEAKER_03: Uh he experimented on this album in 1999.
• 1:07:12
SPEAKER_03: Um, and I think this was after.
• 1:07:14
SPEAKER_03: Was this after his death?
• 1:07:15
  SPEAKER_03: No.
• 1:07:16
  SPEAKER_03: It had to No, I don't I don't think so.
• 1:07:18
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:07:19
SPEAKER_03: Let me let me double check.
• 1:07:21
SPEAKER_03: Because um that's good for the fat boy.
• 1:07:25
SPEAKER_03: Uh no, he died in 2011.
• 1:07:29
SPEAKER_03: So this was, but I don't think this had seen the light of day.
• 1:07:32
SPEAKER_03: I think he had he he had done this record and never put it out.
• 1:07:35
SPEAKER_03: They put it out after he died.
• 1:07:38
SPEAKER_03: So it was recorded in 1999.
• 1:07:41
  SPEAKER_03: Uh anyway.
• 1:07:43
  SPEAKER_03: Um let's see.
• 1:08:04
SPEAKER_03: Alright, so let's get some votes here.
• 1:08:08
SPEAKER_03: Because the uh the goal is well, let me just redo uh cousin Larry's.
• 1:08:20
SPEAKER_03: Because Cousin Larry said Um, I just finished listening to the A Different Beat album by Gary Moore.
• 1:08:28
SPEAKER_03: I actually kind of liked it.
• 1:08:30
SPEAKER_03: He did a pretty good version of Jimi Hendrix's Fire right here.
• 1:08:34
SPEAKER_06: Come outstand, next to ya!
• 1:08:37
SPEAKER_03: And I really liked his guitar on Surrender.
• 1:08:49
  SPEAKER_03: Oh no, I yeah.
• 1:08:54
  SPEAKER_03: I mean it's Gary.
• 1:08:55
SPEAKER_21: This is like Gary Moore, like you like to hear Gary Moore, you know what I mean?
• 1:08:59
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:09:00
SPEAKER_03: He says, that being said, I know you're trying to pare down your CD collection, so I'll vote trash.
• 1:09:05
SPEAKER_03: It's an album I wouldn't buy, but maybe pull up some tracks on my streaming service from time to time.
• 1:09:09
  SPEAKER_03: Oh, makes sense.
• 1:09:10
  SPEAKER_03: I get that.
• 1:09:11
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:09:11
SPEAKER_03: And it's funny that he says he likes the guitar on this song Surrender, because uh we heard from Bounce and Bob as well.
• 1:09:21
SPEAKER_03: And uh Bounce and Bob.
• 1:09:25
SPEAKER_03: This is what he said.
• 1:09:28
  SPEAKER_03: Trash.
• 1:09:30
SPEAKER_03: I did not know the singer Gary Moore until I listened to this CD.
• 1:09:34
SPEAKER_03: The only Gary Moore I knew was the TV host from the 60s who hosted I've Got a Secret and To Tell the Truth.
• 1:09:41
SPEAKER_03: As far as the album is concerned, even Gary Moore trashed it.
• 1:09:45
SPEAKER_03: Tried to link blues with dance music, but failed.
• 1:09:48
SPEAKER_03: The lyrics were the worst.
• 1:09:49
SPEAKER_03: Look at the lyrics from the song Surrender.
• 1:09:54
SPEAKER_21: Well, Cousin Larry said he liked the guitar.
• 1:09:55
SPEAKER_21: He didn't say anything about the words.
• 1:09:57
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that is true.
• 1:09:57
  SPEAKER_03: And Fat Boys.
• 1:09:59
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 1:09:59
SPEAKER_03: Uh Doug would have a great time changing them like he did on Foreigners Women songs.
• 1:10:07
SPEAKER_03: So that's two votes for uh hold on.
• 1:10:13
  SPEAKER_03: Hold on.
• 1:10:14
SPEAKER_03: Two votes for trash! Trash.
• 1:10:20
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 1:10:20
  SPEAKER_03: He trashed.
• 1:10:22
SPEAKER_03: Uh do you have any votes on your end?
• 1:10:24
  SPEAKER_03: I do.
• 1:10:25
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:10:26
  SPEAKER_21: I have the judgeness.
• 1:10:27
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 1:10:28
SPEAKER_21: Misjudgeness, if you were nasty.
• 1:10:32
SPEAKER_21: Okay, this is what she said.
• 1:10:33
SPEAKER_21: As for Smasher Trash, I have to go with trash for the same reason as last week.
• 1:10:37
SPEAKER_21: Being curious about an artist trying new things understandable.
• 1:10:41
SPEAKER_21: But some artists are great being versatile, and some should stick to the things they're best at.
• 1:10:46
  unknown: Trash!
• 1:10:48
SPEAKER_03: That's three votes for trash.
• 1:10:50
  SPEAKER_21: Three votes for trash.
• 1:10:51
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:10:52
SPEAKER_03: Uh you have another one?
• 1:10:53
SPEAKER_03: Or do you have is it?
• 1:10:54
  SPEAKER_03: Well, I have mine.
• 1:10:55
  SPEAKER_03: Okay, what's yours?
• 1:10:56
  SPEAKER_03: Mine is trash.
• 1:10:57
  SPEAKER_03: Yours is trash.
• 1:10:58
SPEAKER_21: Because when you when you played it, I was like, who the frick is this?
• 1:11:01
SPEAKER_03: I would have never known until when I bought it, I was like, this is cool.
• 1:11:05
  SPEAKER_03: I bought I bought it a blue moose.
• 1:11:07
  SPEAKER_03: You know, I saw, oh, there's a Gary Moore album I don't have.
• 1:11:09
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:11:09
SPEAKER_03: So I bought it and then I brought it.
• 1:11:11
SPEAKER_03: I don't think I listened to it in the car because I don't think I had a CD player.
• 1:11:14
  SPEAKER_03: I brought it home.
• 1:11:16
SPEAKER_03: I had the same reaction as you.
• 1:11:19
  SPEAKER_03: What is this?
• 1:11:20
SPEAKER_03: And yes, that is my vote as well.
• 1:11:23
SPEAKER_03: So Gary Moore, a different beat.
• 1:11:27
SPEAKER_03: Um from 19 well, it was 2022 that they released it, but it was recorded in 1999.
• 1:11:35
SPEAKER_03: Uh that is going to KMH music.
• 1:11:38
  SPEAKER_03: Yes.
• 1:11:39
SPEAKER_21: And uh And if you want some trash, you can pick it up.
• 1:11:45
  SPEAKER_21: What did Carrioni say?
• 1:11:46
  SPEAKER_21: Oh, yeah, that's a good point.
• 1:11:48
  SPEAKER_03: That's a good point.
• 1:11:50
SPEAKER_21: We we may be unanimous here.
• 1:11:53
  SPEAKER_21: Let's see.
• 1:12:25
SPEAKER_03: Oh, wait, no, he didn't, he did right here.
• 1:12:27
SPEAKER_03: So the one I was supposed to answer for tonight sounds like a Duke Nukem soundtrack.
• 1:12:32
  SPEAKER_03: It's a trash for me.
• 1:12:33
SPEAKER_03: Love the guy was getting out of his comfort zone, but some things need to be left in the vault and never heard by human ears.
• 1:12:40
SPEAKER_03: Sorry, I I was tarting to class.
• 1:12:42
  SPEAKER_03: I'm caught up now.
• 1:12:43
SPEAKER_03: Have a great show, gents.
• 1:12:45
  SPEAKER_03: Uh so yeah, that's it's unanimous.
• 1:12:47
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's unanimous.
• 1:12:48
SPEAKER_03: First unanimous one! Yeah, uh, it's all it's all trash.
• 1:12:53
  SPEAKER_03: It's all trash.
• 1:12:54
SPEAKER_03: Okay, so now I have to pick another one.
• 1:12:56
  SPEAKER_03: Yes, right.
• 1:12:57
SPEAKER_21: So this one a new one to smash your trash.
• 1:13:00
SPEAKER_21: I don't know why I just rang the bell.
• 1:13:07
  SPEAKER_21: I don't know, I like it this way.
• 1:13:18
SPEAKER_03: A bunch of albums that just before you get a little bit of a slow hand vibe to it.
• 1:14:31
  SPEAKER_21: It is.
• 1:14:32
SPEAKER_21: Oh, it is a Clapton?
• 1:14:33
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, okay.
• 1:14:36
  SPEAKER_21: Which one is this?
• 1:14:38
SPEAKER_21: I'll play a couple songs and I'll tell you.
• 1:14:40
  SPEAKER_21: Okay.
• 1:14:42
  SPEAKER_19: Play your little game.
• 1:14:55
SPEAKER_15: I know why you crying.
• 1:14:58
SPEAKER_15: I know why you blood.
• 1:15:02
SPEAKER_15: Someone took your kick away.
• 1:15:08
SPEAKER_15: Time to go to sleep now.
• 1:15:11
SPEAKER_15: Little man had a busy day.
• 1:15:21
  SPEAKER_03: Different song.
• 1:15:54
SPEAKER_03: Speaking of Robert Johnson, yes.
• 1:16:09
SPEAKER_03: So this album is called I Still Do.
• 1:16:16
  SPEAKER_21: I don't think I've ever seen that one.
• 1:16:17
  SPEAKER_03: 2016, so it's ten years old.
• 1:16:19
  SPEAKER_03: Okay.
• 1:16:20
SPEAKER_10: Um I got a pain in my heart.
• 1:16:24
SPEAKER_03: I'll show you this one was released to radio.
• 1:16:56
SPEAKER_02: This is a JJ Cale tune.
• 1:17:00
SPEAKER_03: He does a lot of JJ Cale.
• 1:17:02
  SPEAKER_03: He does.
• 1:17:03
  SPEAKER_03: Actually, there's one.
• 1:17:08
SPEAKER_03: There's two on this album.
• 1:17:12
SPEAKER_03: Does a Bob Dylan song, Robert Johnson, Skip James, Leroy Carr, some traditional blues stuff.
• 1:17:24
  SPEAKER_03: This one's called Somebody's Knockin'.
• 1:17:30
SPEAKER_03: A lot more playing than singing on this album.
• 1:17:32
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 1:17:32
  SPEAKER_03: Which is, you know.
• 1:17:33
  SPEAKER_03: Which is good.
• 1:17:33
  SPEAKER_03: Which is fine.
• 1:17:34
  SPEAKER_03: I I don't mind that at all.
• 1:17:36
SPEAKER_03: Um and the only reason.
• 1:17:40
SPEAKER_03: It's produced by Glenn Johns, by the way.
• 1:17:43
  SPEAKER_03: Um legendary.
• 1:17:46
SPEAKER_03: I am a huge and you know, I'm a huge, huge Eric Clapton fan.
• 1:17:50
  SPEAKER_03: True.
• 1:17:51
SPEAKER_03: Um I think it was back in the 90s he put out an album called Pilgrim.
• 1:17:57
  SPEAKER_03: Yep.
• 1:17:58
SPEAKER_03: I bought it from Chris at Record Town or FYE or whatever it was.
• 1:18:02
SPEAKER_03: It's the first time I ever returned an album.
• 1:18:05
SPEAKER_03: Because he did kind of what uh Gary Moore did with that.
• 1:18:09
SPEAKER_21: Well, didn't he have uh that change wasn't that Change the World song?
• 1:18:13
SPEAKER_03: That was from a movie.
• 1:18:14
SPEAKER_03: No, that was from a movie.
• 1:18:15
SPEAKER_03: Oh, it was from a movie.
• 1:18:15
SPEAKER_03: It was not on that album.
• 1:18:16
SPEAKER_03: Okay, I thought it was from that.
• 1:18:17
SPEAKER_03: Um but he he partnered with Simon Clymey uh and and did a lot of like uh modern beats and and uh it was a modern production and not what I was used to.
• 1:18:31
  SPEAKER_03: Right.
• 1:18:31
SPEAKER_03: And I was like, this is crap, and I returned it.
• 1:18:35
  SPEAKER_03: I sucked in Leoxy.
• 1:18:37
SPEAKER_03: No, no, I sin I've since replaced it and it's awesome.
• 1:18:40
SPEAKER_03: I just I just didn't sit with it long enough.
• 1:18:43
SPEAKER_03: The songs, you know, the songs are awesome.
• 1:18:46
SPEAKER_03: Okay, um but since that album, everything Clapton has put out, in my opinion, has been just this draggy.
• 1:18:58
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's good, yeah, don't get me wrong, but it's not like you know, you know, he did that album.
• 1:19:06
SPEAKER_03: Um well the blues the the BB King album was fantastic.
• 1:19:09
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it was really, really good.
• 1:19:10
SPEAKER_03: Um and the JJ Cale album was really good.
• 1:19:13
SPEAKER_03: Oh, the Robert Johnson album was really good.
• 1:19:14
  SPEAKER_03: That was good too.
• 1:19:15
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:19:15
SPEAKER_03: I'm not sure what where Pilgrim falls in line with all that stuff, but um just his output as he got older, kind of like Hyatt.
• 1:19:24
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you know, just Hyatt just slowed down, just slowed down and it was sounded just very old.
• 1:19:30
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 1:19:32
SPEAKER_21: And it's become like grandpa music.
• 1:19:35
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and and and uh and I'm not saying I don't like it, I do.
• 1:19:38
SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I love it, but it's just doesn't grab me the way it's other stuff.
• 1:19:43
SPEAKER_21: You gotta be in a certain mood.
• 1:19:45
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah, yeah.
• 1:19:46
SPEAKER_03: And so, but I still like it and I still love Clapton.
• 1:19:53
  SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
• 1:19:53
SPEAKER_03: So I'm on the fence, so I need help.
• 1:19:58
SPEAKER_03: What uh I need somebody help! What should I do?
• 1:20:03
SPEAKER_03: And he's got another song in here.
• 1:20:04
SPEAKER_03: This one is written by one of my favorite songwriters, an Irish guy named Paul Brady.
• 1:20:11
SPEAKER_03: Song called I Will Be There.
• 1:20:13
  SPEAKER_03: And I mean it's beautiful.
• 1:20:20
SPEAKER_03: So that's why I'm on the fence.
• 1:20:23
SPEAKER_10: When times are hot, and friends of you.
• 1:20:39
SPEAKER_21: This sounds like it should be in a brat pack movie from the 80s.
• 1:20:43
  SPEAKER_21: You think so?
• 1:20:44
SPEAKER_21: It's like it's like the montage where they're like, you know, they're hanging out at home.
• 1:20:51
SPEAKER_21: You know, making making dinner.
• 1:20:54
SPEAKER_21: I'm appreciating the little shoulder.
• 1:20:57
SPEAKER_21: You know, it's like the man and the woman, and they're like, they're like flirting, like while cooking, you know.
• 1:21:03
SPEAKER_21: She dips his dips her finger in the flour and gets a nose.
• 1:21:08
  SPEAKER_21: Like the big chill?
• 1:21:09
  SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
• 1:21:09
SPEAKER_21: And then she punches him in the face.
• 1:21:12
  SPEAKER_03: Wait, that's a different movie.
• 1:21:13
SPEAKER_03: Sometimes I wish we had video.
• 1:21:17
SPEAKER_03: It's the little shoulder bob that joined us.
• 1:21:19
SPEAKER_19: No, you gotta get it.
• 1:21:22
SPEAKER_19: You're so cute when you cook.
• 1:21:26
  SPEAKER_19: Well, I'm sorry.
• 1:21:29
  SPEAKER_19: She's darling.
• 1:21:30
  SPEAKER_19: I don't have to watch.
• 1:21:31
  SPEAKER_19: Oh, you're so wonderful.
• 1:21:33
  SPEAKER_19: Let's go.
