- 0:00Speaker 1: I knew modern art was a load of crap. It's
- 0:01Speaker 1: one more thing, Armstrong and Getty.
- 0:05Speaker 2: One that's like your opinion. Man.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Before we get to this list of CIA documents that
- 0:17Speaker 1: have been disclassified, I'm gonna have to read through all these.
- 0:20Speaker 1: There's some interesting stuff in here. Things get declassified after
- 0:23Speaker 1: a certain amount of time, you know, yeah, just does
- 0:27Speaker 1: so a big treasure trove of these just came out.
- 0:31Speaker 1: But first I wanted to hit this so during Super
- 0:33Speaker 1: Interesting Cool during the Armstrong Angetty radio show, I angered
- 0:39Speaker 1: some people by not taking Nicky Haley seriously enough or something.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I feel like I've taken it fairly seriously from the beginning.
- 0:45Speaker 2: But I can vouch for that he has yes.
- 0:50Speaker 1: But I guess if you don't do it every single time,
- 0:52Speaker 1: and somebody only hears one comment, like me commenting on
- 0:54Speaker 1: her dress today, I feel like that's the only thing
- 0:57Speaker 1: I've ever thought about her. She was wearing a red
- 1:00Speaker 1: dress and I said, man, it's some nice dress. In
- 1:02Speaker 1: defense of Jack, red is a bold color for a
- 1:04Speaker 1: politician to wear. It is. If you wear a bright
- 1:07Speaker 1: red dress, I assume you're trying to do some attention
- 1:09Speaker 1: to yourself.
- 1:10Speaker 2: But isn't there some forbidding of doing that in the
- 1:15Speaker 2: Book of Leviticus or something like that, wearing a red dress.
- 1:19Speaker 1: But this person went on to say, if a man
- 1:21Speaker 1: made a speech wearing a red suit, I'll bet you
- 1:23Speaker 1: would have mentioned that first as well. And then the
- 1:26Speaker 1: women get that you have all the options for all
- 1:28Speaker 1: these different clothes you can wear. If Mitt Romney came
- 1:31Speaker 1: out in a bright red suit, I mean, the first
- 1:34Speaker 1: thing anybody said, holy crap.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Like he's sindbad or something.
- 1:38Speaker 1: Yes, for instance, a professional pool player or something out.
- 1:44Speaker 2: You know you will see this at the State of
- 1:46Speaker 2: the Union address too, if you torture yourself by watching
- 1:48Speaker 2: it Thursday as we record this March seventh. It's always
- 1:53Speaker 2: struck me. You see the Senate Chamber or the House chamber,
- 1:56Speaker 2: and you have every single guy in a dark suit,
- 2:00Speaker 2: a white or light blue shirt, and a red or
- 2:02Speaker 2: blue tie, every single damn one of them. And then
- 2:05Speaker 2: you've got the many colors of the rainbow of the coals.
- 2:09Speaker 2: They're wearing white and yellow and red and blue and
- 2:11Speaker 2: whatever they want, dresses, pants, suits, brooches, no brooches. You
- 2:15Speaker 2: got all the options to you. If you're a woman, Katie,
- 2:18Speaker 2: but only of course. The downside is, I know I've
- 2:20Speaker 2: heard women say this before, is I got to come
- 2:23Speaker 2: up with something to wear where you get to just
- 2:24Speaker 2: throw on a suit and always call yourself dressed up correct,
- 2:29Speaker 2: Which is handy.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Yeah, absolutely well, especially because it's also simpler. You have
- 2:35Speaker 3: your your pants, your shirt, your jacket, which is what
- 2:37Speaker 3: you guys wear usually.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Anyway, I wear a suit to work most every day,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and it is it is. It is easier than dressing
- 2:43Speaker 1: casual to wear a suit.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Oh yeah, absolutely true. If you have two suits, you've
- 2:48Speaker 2: covered it. If you have three, you're trying too hard.
- 2:51Speaker 2: And the other thing is about suits is you can
- 2:54Speaker 2: gain five pounds loose five pounds. They fit fine.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I got four suits. I rotate a bunch of
- 2:58Speaker 1: dress shirts. It's super easy to drive. But if I
- 3:00Speaker 1: was trying to dress up without a suit, that'd take
- 3:03Speaker 1: a lot of money in time.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah, dresses are not forgiving, guys. I'll tell you that
- 3:09Speaker 4: those things do not.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Give Either it fits the way it did when you
- 3:14Speaker 1: bought it or not.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Yes, or and it'll never fit that way again.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah. Interesting, I've not had that situation.
- 3:22Speaker 4: I haven't tried on many dresses. Huh.
- 3:24Speaker 1: So, the CIA has done a lot of wacky things
- 3:30Speaker 1: throughout the years, and a whole bunch of it has
- 3:32Speaker 1: been declassified because after twenty five years, or thirty years
- 3:35Speaker 1: or fifty years, there are different rules for different levels
- 3:37Speaker 1: of stuff. Some of this stuff comes out. Some of
- 3:39Speaker 1: this I've heard before. Some of this I'd never like.
- 3:41Speaker 1: All this stuff about the way these ways we tried
- 3:43Speaker 1: to kill fidela Castro, I've heard many many times. Oh,
- 3:47Speaker 1: a classic, We actually did try to poison his cigars
- 3:50Speaker 1: or have exploding cigars and kill him, or at least
- 3:53Speaker 1: considered it. And a bunch of other stuff. But some
- 3:56Speaker 1: of this new stuff I had not heard. The Osama
- 3:59Speaker 1: bin Laden demon toy. The plan after nine eleven was
- 4:02Speaker 1: going to make figurines that looked like Osama bin Laden
- 4:04Speaker 1: and give them to kids in South Asia. After being
- 4:07Speaker 1: left in the sun for a certain amount of time,
- 4:08Speaker 1: its face would peel off to reveal a demon like
- 4:12Speaker 1: vision with red skin, green eyes, and black markings. The
- 4:15Speaker 1: objective was to scare kids and their parents, so Ben
- 4:17Speaker 1: Laden and al Qaida would lose support.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Points for creativity. Geeze, how about a stick with me? Now?
- 4:26Speaker 2: How about a melting faced demon figurine.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Sounds like they were on some bad acid. Yeah, wow,
- 4:33Speaker 1: there are no bad ideas, Joe. Let's go with the
- 4:37Speaker 1: Osama bin laden demon face. This one's from the Cold War,
- 4:40Speaker 1: but I don't think i'd heard this one before. The
- 4:42Speaker 1: Cold War. Condom drop plan, CIA operatives drew up a
- 4:45Speaker 1: plan to have packets of extra large condoms labeled small
- 4:50Speaker 1: dropped on the USSR. The idea was to lower their morale.
- 4:57Speaker 1: That would work. Wow, I can't a small condoms? Still
- 5:01Speaker 1: way too big for me. Wow, my penis must be
- 5:05Speaker 1: tiny compared to the West.
- 5:06Speaker 2: You know.
- 5:06Speaker 1: With this tiny penis, I see no reason to fight
- 5:09Speaker 1: for the Motherland. If I had a giant penis, I
- 5:13Speaker 1: would lay down my life gladly for this correct till
- 5:17Speaker 1: the end. Yes, But with this minuscule penis, I am
- 5:20Speaker 1: just going home right. This is a devilish plan.
- 5:24Speaker 2: It's hilarious.
- 5:26Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:28Speaker 1: The acoustic Kitty. They basically put a microphone in a
- 5:32Speaker 1: radio and a cat and released it in the Soviet
- 5:35Speaker 1: embassy to wander around eavesdropping since nobody suspects a wandering cat.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Wow, wow, poor a cat.
- 5:43Speaker 3: All of these ideas just sound like somebody was really
- 5:46Speaker 3: high to me, They really do.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Dude. What if you're like, put a microphone up a
- 5:53Speaker 2: cat and then turn it loose because nobody's gonna think
- 5:56Speaker 2: of cat's a spy, d most What if the cat
- 6:04Speaker 2: spy pooped out the mic, Dude, then it totally be busted.
- 6:10Speaker 2: What are they gonna do? Question the cat man?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Most cat evert most places of work I've been in.
- 6:22Speaker 1: You just don't ignore wandering stray cats in the hallways. Huh,
- 6:27Speaker 1: It's a different time, another straight cat. Anyway, Jim as
- 6:31Speaker 1: I was saying, the place to attack the United States
- 6:34Speaker 1: is eh, boy, but this is the one I wanted
- 6:39Speaker 1: to get on because it backs up. I believe Hitler
- 6:41Speaker 1: and I agree on one thing, and that is modern
- 6:43Speaker 1: art is bogus.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Wow.
- 6:46Speaker 1: But modern art as a CIA weapon. Back during the sixties,
- 6:50Speaker 1: the CIA noticed that artists tend to lean towards socialism communism.
- 6:55Speaker 1: They realize the best way to prevent this or discredit
- 6:57Speaker 1: these political positions was to make them wealthy so that
- 7:01Speaker 1: they would be more invested in capitalism. To do this,
- 7:04Speaker 1: the CAA anonymously bought modern art pieces, no matter how nonsensical,
- 7:09Speaker 1: for very high prices, making a whole bunch of modern
- 7:12Speaker 1: artists rich, so they would embrace capitalism. So a lot
- 7:15Speaker 1: of that modern art that got successful and sold was
- 7:18Speaker 1: a CIA plot, not some discerning art collector.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Hmmm, that makes the cat Ass mic sounds like a
- 7:27Speaker 2: really good idea. I mean, good, lord, really what the
- 7:36Speaker 2: wow sounds like.
- 7:37Speaker 4: A massive waste of money?
- 7:39Speaker 2: I know it will do. I mean what if they
- 7:44Speaker 2: just like donated to the Communist Party? I mean, I
- 7:49Speaker 2: don't like, that's just that is weak.
- 7:53Speaker 1: So liked the cat Ass microphone store better than the
- 7:56Speaker 1: big fan of that one by buying modern art huge,
- 8:00Speaker 1: I'm not a cat.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Did they give any any specific examples? I mean, like,
- 8:07Speaker 2: was Andy Warhol entirely a product of the CIA's right,
- 8:12Speaker 2: you know, writing checks?
- 8:14Speaker 1: Nobody had any interest in those soup cans except for
- 8:16Speaker 1: the CIA. Could be I don't know, doesn't say.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Wow, Wow, how interesting.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Cat Ass microphone that's your favorite idea for a number.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Of reasons, exactly of course, the way they walk around
- 8:37Speaker 2: with their tails up in the air. You could a camera,
- 8:39Speaker 2: you know.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Yes, yes, when he turns that toward you at the
- 8:43Speaker 1: camera at the wide angle, Well, it has to be
- 8:48Speaker 1: I'm here, love, I'm not a cat, says the
- 8:53Speaker 2: Cat wandering around the embassy, Well, I guess that's it.
