0:08

0:35
SPEAKER_00: So there's been breaking records here on the BJ Show, not just on this show, but the MBL National Basketball League.
0:44
SPEAKER_00: So how can I start off with 25 years of winning strength?
0:50
SPEAKER_00: Only three games in so far, and we are in round four.
0:54
SPEAKER_00: So both a couple of teams I will be sharing have will be played two games after the fourth round of the MBL season so far, and it's coming really quick.
1:05
SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned for the women National Basketball League previews and who I'm thinking should finish in that evening that top four.
1:12
SPEAKER_00: I know it's so early.
1:14
SPEAKER_00: I didn't do that in the NBL.
1:15
SPEAKER_00: I will do something very soon.
1:17
SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned.
1:18
SPEAKER_00: I see my apologise.
1:20
SPEAKER_00: I did DD do that in the means.
1:22
SPEAKER_00: I will be doing something very similar to the women's.
1:25
SPEAKER_00: If I haven't did it, well, I'm gonna refresh my mind of all that.
1:29
SPEAKER_00: So the first game here, so it was a little bit different this round, a little bit like it was to do with Disney.
1:37
SPEAKER_00: It's one of a couple of sponsors, and wow, I just this is this opens up so much to the competition.
1:44
SPEAKER_00: The first game I would like to share, we go back to Wednesday night basketball, the 8th of October, and we are in New Zealand.
1:52
SPEAKER_00: Now I'm gonna be breaking down at the end of well, each game I'll just choose the best player, like I do any AFL or the AFL game.
2:02
SPEAKER_00: So for the Wednesday night double header, well, it's fantastic.
2:06
SPEAKER_00: This was to do with Disney and their sponsor.
2:09
SPEAKER_00: So on you can watch any game from the MBL app and the WMBL app.
2:17
SPEAKER_00: So this was sponsored by Disney.
2:19
SPEAKER_00: You can watch the SPN and it's called I Ton Cup.
2:23
SPEAKER_00: So it's a competition in Australian basketball, but it's New Zealand Breakers take on the to the NBL 25 champions, and they need to find something in the Earl Hawks.
2:33
SPEAKER_00: They are in really in stripes, and it's the first time since the NBL 03 that LA's done this from the championship.
2:42
SPEAKER_00: The Earl Hawks has done this.
2:44
SPEAKER_00: So I thought the Evil Hawks will come in and take the win.
2:47
SPEAKER_00: No, they got a big unit.
2:49
SPEAKER_00: They got a big fella to play basketball.
2:52
SPEAKER_00: And I think I have seen him in the NBA.
2:55
SPEAKER_00: I could not be wrong.
2:56
SPEAKER_00: I could be wrong in another way winning that.
2:59
SPEAKER_00: This team, the New Zealand Breakers, defeated the Evil Hawks.
3:05
SPEAKER_00: 117 to 88.
3:08
SPEAKER_00: New Zealand Breakers are back in their best basketball to come.
3:13
SPEAKER_00: Hitting 30 points of 24, 30 points of 25.
3:17
SPEAKER_00: Basically, Earl Hawks won one point to make that 49 points overall, which is the very highest scoring in MBL against 60.
3:26
SPEAKER_00: So pretty high scoring, pretty even.
3:28
SPEAKER_00: But it was New Zealand.
3:30
SPEAKER_00: Their shooting ability.
3:31
SPEAKER_00: I watched these highlights, which I do have got KO.
3:35
SPEAKER_00: So all Disney Plus, whoever's got Disney, make sure an ESPM as well, and all of the access you can watch.
3:42
SPEAKER_00: But it was all New Zealand.
3:44
SPEAKER_00: They shot, they came out absolutely on top, and it was the three-pointer.
3:49
SPEAKER_00: Really double that.
3:51
SPEAKER_00: Well, the shooting percentage inside was very nicely to the Ewa Hawk.
3:56
SPEAKER_00: So very good, but the rebounding assists, the steals, well, there's to say the block really was nice to the Ewhawk.
4:03
SPEAKER_00: But the generally of shooting and rebounding, even it's not overly great, New Zealand shot better overall on the long range.
4:12
SPEAKER_00: So I give Ewahawk with the better shooting in the free throws, but I think New Zealand just have a better taste and really give them more credit now because they look very, very hungry.
4:23
SPEAKER_00: They have not won a championship for a long time and it's their turn.
4:27
SPEAKER_00: So we come to now to the part of the game.
4:30
SPEAKER_00: This man, oh my goodness, you can't go wrong with a almost triple double.
4:38
SPEAKER_00: Here's the man, Peter Jackson cart wait from New Zealand Breakers.
4:45
SPEAKER_00: This man has breaking record 34 minutes, 20 points, six rebounds, 17 assists, two steals, big stats.
4:53
SPEAKER_00: This is eight from 15, 53.3 from the field.
4:58
SPEAKER_00: That is incredible.
4:59
SPEAKER_00: Then he shot two from three from the three-pointer line.
5:03
SPEAKER_00: He hit two from two from absolute on the free throw line.
5:07
SPEAKER_00: Two offensive four defensives.
5:09
SPEAKER_00: That is shuts.
5:10
SPEAKER_00: And one turnover from one foul.
5:12
SPEAKER_00: So that tells me a point guard shows what he can play.
5:16
SPEAKER_00: He shot the lights out at Spank's Arena.
5:21
SPEAKER_00: All the best to the Nets.
5:23
SPEAKER_00: They say gone.
5:24
SPEAKER_00: When you're heads back to Del Under in Sydney, they take on Melbourne United.
5:29
SPEAKER_00: One of the favourite system of teams in the NBL.
5:32
SPEAKER_00: And it's Sydney Kings, the KD.
5:35
SPEAKER_00: They are taking on National Double Doors all team, Melbourne United.
5:40
SPEAKER_00: And I have got to say, wow, this could go on anywhere.
5:44
SPEAKER_00: Sydney, well, it was Melbourne United start well.
5:48
SPEAKER_00: Then Sydney came out.
5:49
SPEAKER_00: Then Melbourne doubled their score by 12 points.
5:53
SPEAKER_00: Then it was even in the nine in the final quarter.
5:57
SPEAKER_00: In the third quarter, won the game on Wednesday night basketball in Sydney.
6:03
SPEAKER_00: And with Sydney, like they knew this was a second loss at home.
6:07
SPEAKER_00: You can't lose much at home.
6:09
SPEAKER_00: They got connections.
6:11
SPEAKER_00: And with Katie, the star from Sydney Keynes, the formal sixer, came out dominated.
6:18
SPEAKER_00: But how much do, you know, a team like Sydney really, really wanted this win.
6:25
SPEAKER_00: They started winning the game and they couldn't stop their shooting.
6:29
SPEAKER_00: But I think Melbourne how important they are one of the icon teams once again.
6:36
SPEAKER_00: They are going to be the hardest team to take on this basketball season once again.
6:42
SPEAKER_00: And I gave, really, I've actually gave Melbourne the win this game, I believe.
6:48
SPEAKER_00: I think Sydney could won it, but Melbourne looked very struck.
6:51
SPEAKER_00: They look ready.
6:52
SPEAKER_00: And my part of the game, just to make it short, Jesse Edwards from the Melbourne United, he is the center hitting 22 minutes, 22 points, 12 rebounds, three blocks.
7:07
SPEAKER_00: That's all you have to do, six from 11 from the field, and that's six from ten.
7:11
SPEAKER_00: Well, he tried a one from downtown, but it was 10 from 13 from the field.
7:16
SPEAKER_00: That's how they won it.
7:17
SPEAKER_00: Five offensive, seven rebounds, and five thousand to knock him out of the game.
7:23
SPEAKER_00: But it's still work for my play of the game.
7:26
SPEAKER_00: Well done to Jesse Edwards from the Melbourne United.
7:31
SPEAKER_00: Now, even we know that Adelaide's won the teams, he played double, and they played at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
7:40
SPEAKER_00: And this is not just entertainment, ladies and gentlemen, but this team bleeding sells to win games.
7:47
SPEAKER_00: This is incredible.
7:49
SPEAKER_00: And it's the first time in 25 years.
7:52
SPEAKER_00: Adelaide 36 break a record to win.
7:55
SPEAKER_00: Three games straight.
7:56
SPEAKER_00: Can they make full games?
7:58
SPEAKER_00: We'll find out very soon.
7:59
SPEAKER_00: Which will share who's the end.
8:01
SPEAKER_00: LA give Tasmani, they want this more.
8:04
SPEAKER_00: And they don't have big stars anymore.
8:07
SPEAKER_00: They introduce new stars for this icon team.
8:10
SPEAKER_00: And since they come into the competition, then Tasmania came early in the game.
8:15
SPEAKER_00: They want more of this game.
8:17
SPEAKER_00: Allied hold on that lead.
8:19
SPEAKER_00: Then it changed over.
8:22
SPEAKER_00: It changed to the LA Food Six's favor.
8:25
SPEAKER_00: They shoot 30 points at 22.
8:27
SPEAKER_00: Then Tasmania changed.
8:29
SPEAKER_00: They came to in that third quarter.
8:31
SPEAKER_00: They wanted more.
8:32
SPEAKER_00: 30 to 25.
8:34
SPEAKER_00: Ally holding a poll.
8:35
SPEAKER_00: 11 point victory into a nine-point victory, my apologise.
8:39
SPEAKER_00: 98 to 89, 22 to 17, AlA's favor.
8:44
SPEAKER_00: The biggest click was both teams dropped all from the three-pointed line.
8:48
SPEAKER_00: Pretty even in the 60 plus to under 70.
8:53
SPEAKER_00: Very good.
8:53
SPEAKER_00: You know, rebounds plus clear.
8:56
SPEAKER_00: Still just huge.
8:57
SPEAKER_00: You know, even that was personal fails as well.
9:01
SPEAKER_00: So it shows that rebounds are one of the strongest tastes for the LA Food Sixers.
9:08
SPEAKER_00: They got big units.
9:10
SPEAKER_00: They know how important Tasman want this win over Adelaide.
9:14
SPEAKER_00: They're in good form.
9:15
SPEAKER_00: They're coming into this game.
9:16
SPEAKER_00: And this player, you can't go wrong almost to give this player an amazing performance.
9:24
SPEAKER_00: But I have to give it to Bryce Cotton.
9:26
SPEAKER_00: No, look.
9:27
SPEAKER_00: It's hard to even just choose a player.
9:30
SPEAKER_00: And I am actually going to give it instead of that.
9:33
SPEAKER_00: I'm going to give it to Zane Shazham from the LA 36ers.
9:38
SPEAKER_00: Power forward.
9:39
SPEAKER_00: 31 minutes, eight points, nine rebounds, three steals.
9:45
SPEAKER_00: He hit.
9:46
SPEAKER_00: Well, all nice and comfortable on the field.
9:49
SPEAKER_00: He almost shot a three-pointer.
9:50
SPEAKER_00: Hit from well, all defense.
9:52
SPEAKER_00: Eight from one from offensive was that.
9:55
SPEAKER_00: Four from four from the free throw.
9:57
SPEAKER_00: That some was fouls.
9:58
SPEAKER_00: He's still learning his craft.
10:00
SPEAKER_00: But the Ali Oop from Isaac Humphreys shows the talent he can dunk incredible.
10:09
SPEAKER_00: And can LA go four from four?
10:11
SPEAKER_00: Well, find out very soon.
10:12
SPEAKER_00: But I'm going to have to end it from for now.
10:16
SPEAKER_00: We'll see how the Sunday hoots go.
10:18
SPEAKER_00: But I can't I just really am looking forward to what can be one of the best icons in the basketball history.
10:26
SPEAKER_00: LA's breaking a 25-year record in Adelaide.
10:31
SPEAKER_00: But we'll, and also we do have more basketball because we're on the Thursday night basketball.
10:36
SPEAKER_00: So if I say but we'll leave for now, we do continue on.
10:40
SPEAKER_00: So, and that's what we are.
10:42
SPEAKER_00: We're Friday night basketball in Cairns.
10:44
SPEAKER_00: Now, this could be my game of the round, and I ain't gonna select a nomination.
10:49
SPEAKER_00: Now, this could change.
10:51
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna pick three nominations, and at the end of the round, stay tuned for that.
10:55
SPEAKER_00: So Cairns Bez is perfect by cats, nomination of the round, game of the round.
11:01
SPEAKER_00: Could it be the winner?
11:02
SPEAKER_00: Cairns almost slipped the best upset on their home, Jim.
11:06
SPEAKER_00: Let's drive into it.
11:08
SPEAKER_00: They said well, I personally think this was a great call.
11:11
SPEAKER_00: And they did it.
11:12
SPEAKER_00: Then it was the second quarter, the third and the fourth pretty much shot the second same amount of points.
11:17
SPEAKER_00: It was even all game.
11:19
SPEAKER_00: Cook on OT.
11:20
SPEAKER_00: But the best thing about Ped, that shot from the deep.
11:24
SPEAKER_00: They did it.
11:25
SPEAKER_00: They shot 45 plus from the field.
11:28
SPEAKER_00: Pretty good effort.
11:29
SPEAKER_00: They won in rebound, two plus, perfect.
11:32
SPEAKER_00: They did it in assists, blocks, steals, pretty even.
11:36
SPEAKER_00: And evens and fouls.
11:38
SPEAKER_00: So that tells me when you take on a very good side, you are going to do so well.
11:43
SPEAKER_00: And offense will do that.
11:45
SPEAKER_00: Defensive, pretty even.
11:47
SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna give more credit to Ken Tight Pans over Adela's loss on their gym.
11:52
SPEAKER_00: And boy, this could be one of the hardest to a player.
11:56
SPEAKER_00: Doesn't have to be a winning team, but more common is a winning team to be the player of my game.
12:02
SPEAKER_00: It was basically Ken's dominating this game.
12:05
SPEAKER_00: They start well.
12:07
SPEAKER_00: Perth came hard and they just hold on a millilitre victory.
12:11
SPEAKER_00: Three only three points.
12:13
SPEAKER_00: So, if anything else, who deserves a player of the game?
12:18
SPEAKER_00: It is a hard choice.
12:19
SPEAKER_00: Now, well done to Perth.
12:21
SPEAKER_00: They came and they really rocked this town.
12:25
SPEAKER_00: But it was the Perth White Cats celebring a three-point victory.
12:31
SPEAKER_00: As we go into Sassana Night basketball, we have the Perth White Cuts, Dylan Wingler from the Perth White Cats.
12:41
SPEAKER_00: A mala nomination victory.
12:43
SPEAKER_00: Maya play of the game.
12:44
SPEAKER_00: 38.
12:45
SPEAKER_00: 35 minutes.
12:46
SPEAKER_00: 26 points.
12:48
SPEAKER_00: 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block.
12:52
SPEAKER_00: That's it.
12:52
SPEAKER_00: 11 from 15 from 1012.
12:55
SPEAKER_00: That's huge.
12:56
SPEAKER_00: One from three.
12:57
SPEAKER_00: Big shooting from three from five.
12:59
SPEAKER_00: So very nice accuracy.
13:00
SPEAKER_00: All 11 offense, uh defensive rebounds with one turnover, one foul.
13:05
SPEAKER_00: So I really give sober efforts to Dylan Wingler from the Perth Star.
13:13
SPEAKER_00: He's got great leadership.
13:15
SPEAKER_00: He's one of his best games on the road.
13:17
SPEAKER_00: You do that on the road, you'll win games.
13:20
SPEAKER_00: You will make big surprises.
13:22
SPEAKER_00: And since he's come into that permanent role for that team, he's come a very good start.
13:27
SPEAKER_00: And I wish it all the best.
13:30
SPEAKER_00: We now come before we say, we'll see you Sunday.
13:34
SPEAKER_00: We got we head to the Eero Hawks at Wynn Entertainment Center in Wanagon.
13:40
SPEAKER_00: Then we go, they take on Brisbane Bullets because they need help.
13:44
SPEAKER_00: LA Food Sixers and the Sydney Kings, and I'll be deeply explaining.
13:48
SPEAKER_00: I did watch this game.
13:50
SPEAKER_00: I do not watch the Hawks and the Bullets.
13:52
SPEAKER_00: I watched the Sixers and the Kings.
13:55
SPEAKER_00: I will share why us.
13:57
SPEAKER_00: Let's get to the first game.
13:59
SPEAKER_00: Earl Hawks take on Brisbane Bullets.
14:01
SPEAKER_00: And what a game this was.
14:03
SPEAKER_00: One onto the champs, they're back, they back at home, and they got a big win.
14:08
SPEAKER_00: And the win is not just a win, it is a gang that get that nerved out of.
14:12
SPEAKER_00: Now they've got their first win.
14:14
SPEAKER_00: Let's get that momentum rolling onto it.
14:18
SPEAKER_00: Now, really, it was all Earl Hawk.
14:20
SPEAKER_00: 34 points in the first half, five ends, so 68 points in a half.
14:26
SPEAKER_00: It's big.
14:27
SPEAKER_00: No other team has done that this season but them.
14:30
SPEAKER_00: Huge score.
14:31
SPEAKER_00: But Brisbane did come hard in that second.
14:33
SPEAKER_00: Then the third and fourth really went down.
14:36
SPEAKER_00: But they did one a quarter in the third.
14:39
SPEAKER_00: They got some momentum, but it wasn't enough, it's unfortunately.
14:43
SPEAKER_00: And Real Hawks is the second highest team over New Zealand Breakers, scoring 110 plus for a game and under 90 points against.
14:52
SPEAKER_00: So it tells and proves all that Evil Hawks was shooting from downtown one of the worst in a long time.
15:00
SPEAKER_00: They shot well inside.
15:02
SPEAKER_00: They did rebound hard, but not enough.
15:05
SPEAKER_00: They're still hard, which is really important, but it was just not their night.
15:10
SPEAKER_00: Three from 22 is just not MBL level.
15:14
SPEAKER_00: That is not MBL.
15:15
SPEAKER_00: That's not national level, generally.
15:17
SPEAKER_00: Really poor.
15:18
SPEAKER_00: And I think Brisbane would just have to, they know better than that.
15:22
SPEAKER_00: Three shots.
15:23
SPEAKER_00: That's 25 shots to the Ill Hawks from downtown.
15:28
SPEAKER_00: That's 36.
15:29
SPEAKER_00: They make 11 shots.
15:31
SPEAKER_00: That is very painful.
15:33
SPEAKER_00: But I trust they the free throws, I'll give them credit.
15:37
SPEAKER_00: I think they shot better, but it was nine misses to seven in favour of the bullets.
15:42
SPEAKER_00: So we'll give them credit to that.
15:44
SPEAKER_00: We'll make this nice and short as we continue on.
15:47
SPEAKER_00: So, well, there's some really good talent, but I can't go away from a player that earned his spot out there tonight.
15:56
SPEAKER_00: And his name is JV Lee McGee, the star for the Hawks.
16:03
SPEAKER_00: His game score was 22 minutes, 13 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks, five from seven from the field, and we're three from eight from free throw, so that's pretty good effort.
16:19
SPEAKER_00: He hit 12 rebounds, nine defensive, three offensive, three turnovers, free fouls.
16:24
SPEAKER_00: So a fella that's come into this league and dominate for the for the champs.
16:29
SPEAKER_00: It's just a bonus.
16:30
SPEAKER_00: One of the tallest.
16:31
SPEAKER_00: It's going to be one of the hardest players to take on in the MBL.
16:37
SPEAKER_00: So well done to the Illhawks now.
16:39
SPEAKER_00: Saturday night, basketball to A.
16:42
SPEAKER_00: Returns dead since Thursday night.
16:44
SPEAKER_00: They have 48 hours to recover and prepared for the Sydney Kings.
16:50
SPEAKER_00: They did not do that.
16:51
SPEAKER_00: They went to the same plan, same game plan.
16:54
SPEAKER_00: They did not change what will happen to their former star came to Adelaide and took on Adelaide 36ers.
17:02
SPEAKER_00: I disagree.
17:04
SPEAKER_00: I don't like the brewing.
17:05
SPEAKER_00: But he focused on his teammates and I respect that.
17:09
SPEAKER_00: But we have to move on.
17:11
SPEAKER_00: He's gone to a different team.
17:12
SPEAKER_00: That's any sport, okay?
17:14
SPEAKER_00: That's just my opinion.
17:16
SPEAKER_00: I think he play a fantastic game of basketball.
17:19
SPEAKER_00: He shot the night.
17:20
SPEAKER_00: He cried the crowd.
17:21
SPEAKER_00: That's what athletes do.
17:22
SPEAKER_00: That's what professionals do, and he's gonna be a star.
17:25
SPEAKER_00: He came runners up over a star we're gonna discuss in just a moment.
17:29
SPEAKER_00: 79 to 103, breaking record in Adelaide.
17:34
SPEAKER_00: Three and a half years, Sydney lost two plus, and not just plus, a 24, 20, between 24 and 27 points that Adelaide have got defeated over Sydney, no matter what score it is.
17:47
SPEAKER_00: So Adelaide breaking record from winning and now getting heavy defeat against Sydney in Sydney.
17:52
SPEAKER_00: So Adelaide's got work to do.
17:54
SPEAKER_00: They've gone tag on the Phoenix.
17:56
SPEAKER_00: They're not gonna be easy.
17:58
SPEAKER_00: They will Phoenix and will be playing on the Sunday hoop.
18:01
SPEAKER_00: So stay tuned for that.
18:02
SPEAKER_00: And how I'm gonna review that game and all respect.
18:05
SPEAKER_00: But how did Adelaide start?
18:07
SPEAKER_00: And I tell you, I I didn't want to watch it.
18:10
SPEAKER_00: I did not want to watch this game, but that's been about sport.
18:13
SPEAKER_00: I did not turn the TV off.
18:14
SPEAKER_00: I did not turn it off.
18:15
SPEAKER_00: And it really irritated the passing, it was defense.
18:19
SPEAKER_00: Sydney's game plan work.
18:21
SPEAKER_00: So something that watched, how can Bryce Cotton get?
18:26
SPEAKER_00: But really, that's not in his mind was not in the game.
18:29
SPEAKER_00: And I think that all due was respect.
18:32
SPEAKER_00: I think Bryce distinct that's had to have that bad game.
18:35
SPEAKER_00: He's in the new environment, new city.
18:38
SPEAKER_00: He came out not his best mindset, and that happens.
18:42
SPEAKER_00: And we didn't have our star playing his best.
18:44
SPEAKER_00: When he plays his best, he's hard.
18:47
SPEAKER_00: But this is what good teams do.
18:48
SPEAKER_00: They stop their best star from the other team, and LA just couldn't get their shots in.
18:54
SPEAKER_00: We rushed it, we were way on the fresh, and we just couldn't win it.
18:58
SPEAKER_00: So congratulations to Sydney and all the best remaining of the season was whenever the next reviews I share with you all.
19:05
SPEAKER_00: But LA first is just think about what you need to do, okay?
19:10
SPEAKER_00: All being respect and positive vibes.
19:13
SPEAKER_00: You know, the Phoenix will come and we'll take on you.
19:17
SPEAKER_00: So we have to prepare ourselves.
19:19
SPEAKER_00: We know we are better.
19:21
SPEAKER_00: We will refresh, we'll get back to training, recover, and do your best in the next one.
19:26
SPEAKER_00: Train hard and play and train smart.
19:29
SPEAKER_00: That's all we can say.
19:30
SPEAKER_00: But we know we're better than that.
19:32
SPEAKER_00: This is a sold-out crowd.
19:34
SPEAKER_00: For two years mating, you know, with a minute and a bit to go, to bring light some young people on court.
19:42
SPEAKER_00: No, we're not gonna win this game.
19:44
SPEAKER_00: And I believe that the coach knew.
19:47
SPEAKER_00: Knew that we'll lose, we move on, we will get back on.
19:50
SPEAKER_00: We are gonna be a very good team, but we don't want to make it too much obvious early in the season.
19:55
SPEAKER_00: We want to be the best, but we have to be smart to be the best.
20:00
SPEAKER_00: And we know how good we can, we will bounce back, we will regain, we gotta trust each other, and I think for both teams, I really have to give a vote.
20:08
SPEAKER_00: But for generally, the captain, you know, number 34, you know, there is a few from Adelaide.
20:15
SPEAKER_00: I think this is not part of the game.
20:17
SPEAKER_00: I'll just give out a few I think played really well.
20:21
SPEAKER_00: So Dee Van Vangovich played his best basketball tonight.
20:26
SPEAKER_00: I think his role played really well.
20:29
SPEAKER_00: He was hungry.
20:30
SPEAKER_00: He had 14 points, four rebounds, four assists, you know.
20:33
SPEAKER_00: He his shooting was a bit, you know, a bit quiet tonight.
20:37
SPEAKER_00: He wasn't in his best fourth and 11, you know.
20:40
SPEAKER_00: It tells me that it was a very heated night, and we knew that.
20:45
SPEAKER_00: We knew that was gonna happen.
20:47
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it was a very disappointing night, but we'll we'll get there.
20:51
SPEAKER_00: We'll get there, and we know how important it is.
20:55
SPEAKER_00: But a man player I think played really well for Adelaide is Finn Cameron.
21:00
SPEAKER_00: He dominated 15 points, five rebounds, seven assists, seven assists, one still.
21:05
SPEAKER_00: He shot five from nine, two from four, and three from five from three-pointer, two from two from the three-pointer line, and eight rebounds defensively, four fouls.
21:14
SPEAKER_00: So he got a bit of taste from Kenan Davis, but we don't talk about that bit.
21:18
SPEAKER_00: But and a nine to Humphreys, really a very quiet night.
21:22
SPEAKER_00: We'll not hit that rebound.
21:24
SPEAKER_00: We had Zane, Chess, Ham, a mother player, eight rebounds, eight points, five assists, one steal, two blocks.
21:32
SPEAKER_00: Best block I've seen in such a long time.
21:34
SPEAKER_00: Three from six, you know, two from two, he's very good at three pointer, two offense and two rebounds, six defensive from two offensive and you know, two power.
21:44
SPEAKER_00: So I'll leave him there, but a player that's really shows up and it's a hard choice to be one the best from the best.
21:53
SPEAKER_00: You can't play from best from the des now.
21:56
SPEAKER_00: Normally I'll just give it to a like a leader high leadership, but I'm gonna really give it to Zara Cooks from Sydney.
22:04
SPEAKER_00: He dominated.
22:06
SPEAKER_00: He stacks and really shot Sydney to get this win.
22:10
SPEAKER_00: 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, two block.
22:14
SPEAKER_00: He is a star already from five and seven.
22:16
SPEAKER_00: He missed from three-pointers, hit free throws from one from 14 at home, a loss, and then came to LA hit two from two, is huge.
22:25
SPEAKER_00: Four rebounds from defensive and offense, two turnovers, two fouls.
22:29
SPEAKER_00: So he was one of his best gains in LA in a long time.
22:34
SPEAKER_00: If he got two more points, that is a huge knight for him.
22:38
SPEAKER_00: My apologise.
22:39
SPEAKER_00: If you got two more rebounds, a double double for the Sydney team star and leadership.
22:45
SPEAKER_00: So congratulations to and I really like I wish I can give this man.
22:50
SPEAKER_00: His name is Kern Nut Noah from the Sydney Big Fella.
22:55
SPEAKER_00: But and he hit 30 minutes as well, Zay Cook.
22:58
SPEAKER_00: So see you in Sunday Hoot here on the BJ Show with you some.
23:03
SPEAKER_00: Welcome to double Sunday Hoot's Basket.
23:05
SPEAKER_00: What two games we have on our hands?
23:08
SPEAKER_00: We had New Zealand Breakers and Southeastern Melbourne Phoenix.
23:12
SPEAKER_00: What a gap suit clinic to finish off Melbourne United versus Kent's Tight Pans.
23:17
SPEAKER_00: So we start up within New Zealand at Sprink Arena.
23:21
SPEAKER_00: What round four basket we have.
23:22
SPEAKER_00: We don't into round five after this.
23:25
SPEAKER_00: Just so we're brief.
23:26
SPEAKER_00: So Southeastern Melbourne, they came hard, 21 to 15, good start.
23:31
SPEAKER_00: New Zealand came out 31 to 13, a really good bounce back.
23:35
SPEAKER_00: Then in the third quarter, Southeast and Phoenix, they scored 28 in the third, 25 in the third final quarter, 19 in the third for New Zealand and 16.
23:47
SPEAKER_00: So six points 81 to 87, six point victory 2D.
23:52
SPEAKER_00: Well the Southeast and Delham Phoenix, big winners.
23:55
SPEAKER_00: They were in control most of the game.
23:57
SPEAKER_00: They did it, they earned it, they got respect.
24:00
SPEAKER_00: Well done on the big bro win.
24:02
SPEAKER_00: And a pretty hard choice, really a hard choice in a lot of ways.
24:07
SPEAKER_00: And you know, you're gonna I've got a part of the game by far and beyond.
24:11
SPEAKER_00: They really, you know, I think the coach has really put this fella in a massive way.
24:17
SPEAKER_00: You know, he almost got found out.
24:18
SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna say too much.
24:20
SPEAKER_00: This is also maybe my thoughts of the game of Normany off the round.
24:24
SPEAKER_00: We'll share that very shortly.
24:26
SPEAKER_00: Who I think is the game of the round by far and so far from round four.
24:31
SPEAKER_00: So the good part of the game of this game is, and I'll come up, is Olin Foxwell, the point guard from their Melbourne, Salvin Phoenix.
24:43
SPEAKER_00: 26 minutes of decent amount out of 40.
24:46
SPEAKER_00: We have 19 points, four rebounds, seven assists, one steal.
24:50
SPEAKER_00: He shot seven from twelve.
24:52
SPEAKER_00: Pretty good effort, three from six.
24:54
SPEAKER_00: He had four from six from three winner, and a main one from three from the field.
24:58
SPEAKER_00: One offensive, three defensive, one turn and four foul.
25:02
SPEAKER_00: So a really good effort.
25:04
SPEAKER_00: Big road, you got a New Zealand, damn good form, New Zealand.
25:07
SPEAKER_00: You gotta be on your best form, and they did it perfectly.
25:10
SPEAKER_00: Shooting was no problem.
25:12
SPEAKER_00: We go into John Caym Arena.
25:14
SPEAKER_00: We are back with the Melbourne United.
25:16
SPEAKER_00: They're back on Huntsoy after the big win against Sydney Keynes this Wednesday week ago from for round four.
25:24
SPEAKER_00: They also played second as well, and this was a really important game to play.
25:30
SPEAKER_00: Melbourne taking a 95-60 win, a big win.
25:34
SPEAKER_00: 27-15 first quarter, 21-10 in the second, 22-16 in the third.
25:41
SPEAKER_00: They played hard.
25:42
SPEAKER_00: They got better as the quarter scored and 25-19 final quarter.
25:48
SPEAKER_00: So it's a 35 points.
25:50
SPEAKER_00: It's huge margin.
25:51
SPEAKER_00: Mel are won the hardest to take on each other.
25:54
SPEAKER_00: Just the shooting range over.
25:57
SPEAKER_00: They really, really, like, it's a bit disappointed.
26:00
SPEAKER_00: 20% on a three-pointer attends, 53, 57.10 can.
26:06
SPEAKER_00: So give them credit from 60 points, a bit disappointed.
26:10
SPEAKER_00: 10 plus re runs in photo Melbourne.
26:12
SPEAKER_00: We have 5 plus assists, 8 plus steals, and Cam.
26:17
SPEAKER_00: Cans are one of the best blocks in the comp three plus for them.
26:20
SPEAKER_00: 1 minus in personal fouls.
26:23
SPEAKER_00: And then we shoot from there.
26:25
SPEAKER_00: 16 from 28 from the field and 4 from 27.
26:29
SPEAKER_00: They're the second worst over Brisbane from the three-pointer tenth.
26:33
SPEAKER_00: So that really opens up for Melbourne to shoot the easiest threes.
26:37
SPEAKER_00: 6 from 30, which is not very, very good.
26:41
SPEAKER_00: But 28 from 52 to 16, 28, which is very, very good, in my opinion.
26:47
SPEAKER_00: 16 to 6, 16 to 6 in offense, 28 B's in defence, battles 9.
26:53
SPEAKER_00: Turnovers cost them the game 10 tight pens in a huge way.
26:58
SPEAKER_00: We'll end this now.
26:59
SPEAKER_00: We make an entire player of the game.
27:01
SPEAKER_00: You can't go wrong with this big unit, but two sets up the second best player for today who dominated everywhere on this ground.
27:12
SPEAKER_00: He he's absolute flying this game.
27:15
SPEAKER_00: It's such a hard choice.
27:17
SPEAKER_00: You know, you can't go wrong with a big fella to win games, but you can't go wrong with a fella just loves Hammyabricks, Hammy and Crack as well.
27:28
SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to give it to just give him a bit of a moment to read the stacks.
27:35
SPEAKER_00: So I'm going to give it to, let's just give it this fella.
27:39
SPEAKER_00: Flynn Dalian from Melbourne.
27:43
SPEAKER_00: Include eight points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal.
27:47
SPEAKER_00: He shoots three for nine.
27:49
SPEAKER_00: It's a bit unusual.
27:50
SPEAKER_00: Three from six is pretty healthy.
27:52
SPEAKER_00: No three-pointers.
27:53
SPEAKER_00: That's zero from three, two free throws, one offense, four defensive, two-one turnovers, no foul.
28:01
SPEAKER_00: So it tabooes me that he is my player of the game.
28:04
SPEAKER_00: And that's all from we have for today.
28:06
SPEAKER_00: Say tuned for two different kinds of quizzes to come.
28:09
SPEAKER_00: We got the bowling episode.
28:10
SPEAKER_00: We'll be coming out after the holidays.
28:13
SPEAKER_00: We have so much to cover.
28:15
SPEAKER_00: We got the Will Resets.
28:16
SPEAKER_00: We're including the MBL 26 series, episode four.
28:20
SPEAKER_00: We got the Avon nine results, round 10 reviews.
28:24
SPEAKER_00: We got the top 30 movies.
28:26
SPEAKER_00: We've got top 10 music and songs and artists and top 15 TV series.
28:32
SPEAKER_00: So thanks for that.
28:33
SPEAKER_00: There's so much to cover, so much to come.
28:35
SPEAKER_00: And yeah, see you all very, very soon here on the BJ show.
28:39
SPEAKER_00: We're out.
28:39
SPEAKER_00: We're signing out.
28:40
SPEAKER_00: Catch you all later.
28:41
SPEAKER_00: Peace out.
28:41
SPEAKER_00: Bye for now.
