- 1:12Speaker 2: Dallas ain't cheap, y'all. A new report states a single
- 1:17Speaker 2: adult in Dallas Fort Worth needs an annual pre tax
- 1:21Speaker 2: income of one hundred and seven thousand and sixty one
- 1:26Speaker 2: dollars to live a financially comfortable lifestyle. This required salary
- 1:31Speaker 2: depagately exceeds the median personal income of DFW residents, which
- 1:36Speaker 2: is currently only fifty one thousand and six h nine.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So what some experts are saying you need to live
- 1:44Speaker 2: comfortably in DFW is double the median salary in DFW.
- 1:49Speaker 2: The study used the fifty to thirty twenty budgeting rule
- 1:53Speaker 2: fifty percent on needs, thirty percent on once, and twenty
- 1:57Speaker 2: percent on savings or debt. That's what they used to
- 2:00Speaker 2: calculate the necessary income. I think you could argue that
- 2:05Speaker 2: most people don't live by the fifty thirty twenty. It's
- 2:09Speaker 2: more like the seventy forty thirty. And I know that
- 2:17Speaker 2: doesn't add to one hundred because I feel like most
- 2:19Speaker 2: people live in debt, and I feel like there's I
- 2:22Speaker 2: think even from the true A Federal Bureau of Labor
- 2:25Speaker 2: Statistics has even supported that, Like there was even another
- 2:29Speaker 2: study it said in America, so not just THEFWS, but
- 2:31Speaker 2: in America, people that make six figures still struggle with debt,
- 2:37Speaker 2: credit card debt, all these things.
- 2:41Speaker 3: There are all that.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Are we all that dumb? Or is it just is
- 2:44Speaker 2: it just you know? What is it? What's the reason
- 2:46Speaker 2: for this?
- 2:49Speaker 3: I don't know that.
- 2:49Speaker 4: When I was living in Los Angeles, there was a
- 2:51Speaker 4: guy who was on the news with it was him
- 2:53Speaker 4: and his daughter, and he has a full time job
- 2:56Speaker 4: forty hours a week and he lives in a tent
- 3:01Speaker 4: under the four or five Jesus, that's where a full
- 3:05Speaker 4: time job. Yeah, it's a decent pain job. Yeah, but
- 3:10Speaker 4: he just couldn't The cost of living is so outrageous
- 3:13Speaker 4: in Los Angeles. He couldn't afford it anymore. So they
- 3:16Speaker 4: got a gym membership and that's where the day, you know,
- 3:18Speaker 4: they go and shower and change and all that stuff.
- 3:21Speaker 4: And they both an a tent.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Not to be a total you know jerk here, but
- 3:29Speaker 2: how much is that content? Well, I mean financing. Yeah,
- 3:35Speaker 2: what sort of a mortgage rate did he get on
- 3:37Speaker 2: the California four or five tent?
- 3:40Speaker 4: I think the tent was a last minute purchase after
- 3:43Speaker 4: he left the apartment. Okay, that's where that came from.
- 3:47Speaker 4: And rent under a bridge, I believe is free. I'm
- 3:51Speaker 4: pretty sure.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It has costs. It definitely comes with costs. Look, I
- 4:01Speaker 2: think there are a number of factors that go into this,
- 4:05Speaker 2: not the least of which is that, you know, I
- 4:07Speaker 2: feel like wages have been pretty stagnant over the years,
- 4:10Speaker 2: whereas or at the very least falling behind the rising
- 4:15Speaker 2: costs of other things.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Well, I mean the biggest crisis we face right now
- 4:22Speaker 1: as far as affordability, and it's the hardest one to
- 4:25Speaker 1: figure out how to unravel. But it's it's Airbnb and
- 4:29Speaker 1: and and these corporations that are gobbling up you know, homes, condos, everything,
- 4:36Speaker 1: and it is driven rent and home prices through the roof.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Do you think, Trey, that's a bigger cause for financial
- 4:47Speaker 2: difficulty in people's lives or wage stagnation?
- 4:52Speaker 1: I think, I mean, statistically, wages have gone up enough,
- 4:58Speaker 1: it's but home prices, your cost of living has especially
- 5:03Speaker 1: since COVID has just gone through the roof. And a
- 5:06Speaker 1: lot of it is you know, people sucking up properties
- 5:09Speaker 1: for airbnbs and then then you have these massive corporations
- 5:13Speaker 1: that are buying properties as investment for airbnbs, and that
- 5:18Speaker 1: that right there, I think is absolutely the biggest cause
- 5:22Speaker 1: there is.
- 5:23Speaker 2: There was a there was another news story I saw
- 5:26Speaker 2: this past weekend that basically said that there are fears
- 5:30Speaker 2: that the host the hosing Jesus, the hop the home housing.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I put the do together, the hosing economy. That's actually
- 5:37Speaker 2: what this is. It is the hosing economy. Uh, middle
- 5:40Speaker 2: class gets hosed absolutely because you might get it, you
- 5:45Speaker 2: might get a three percent raise if you're lucky, but
- 5:47Speaker 2: you can't keep up with the corporations buying all the
- 5:50Speaker 2: properties around you and the inflated costs of those things.
- 5:55Speaker 2: And because of that, then your property taxes go up
- 5:57Speaker 2: if you happen to be a homeowner anyway, right, part
- 6:00Speaker 2: of that does that's the trickle down economics that nobody likes.
- 6:05Speaker 2: And so one of the stories I saw over the
- 6:08Speaker 2: weekend was that the housing market might be close to
- 6:11Speaker 2: or getting in the neighborhood of a correction, but one
- 6:16Speaker 2: that could be worse than what happened in two thousand
- 6:19Speaker 2: and eight, not because of bad loans that went out
- 6:23Speaker 2: like in you know two thousand and eight area, but
- 6:27Speaker 2: because of all the corporations buying up all these houses
- 6:29Speaker 2: and it's just overinflated home prices. It's absolutely insane.
- 6:37Speaker 3: What is it?
- 6:38Speaker 4: Oh, I was just gonna say, like Las Vegas, like
- 6:40Speaker 4: there's a whole I can't. I think it's like two
- 6:43Speaker 4: or three Chinese run companies have bought like I can't
- 6:49Speaker 4: remember if it's Henderson or in Paradise County, but they've
- 6:52Speaker 4: bought like twenty percent of the housing market just because
- 6:55Speaker 4: it's for them.
- 6:57Speaker 3: It's just cheap.
- 6:58Speaker 2: That seems so odd to me. Like when I first
- 7:00Speaker 2: saw a news story about a foreign companies buying land
- 7:05Speaker 2: in America, my first thought was, huh. I thought like
- 7:08Speaker 2: there had to be some sort of major approval process.
- 7:12Speaker 2: And my assumption is that it would be for commercial
- 7:14Speaker 2: use kind of a thing like like the Toyota plant
- 7:19Speaker 2: in San Antonio. I think that's still operational where they
- 7:21Speaker 2: build trucks and SUVs and stuff. I mean, Toyota is
- 7:25Speaker 2: a Japanese company, but they're commercially building things in America.
- 7:30Speaker 2: But now you're talking about foreign companies going in buying
- 7:33Speaker 2: private land for real estate stuff, and that to me,
- 7:36Speaker 2: it's just mind boggling that that's a thing.
- 7:39Speaker 1: It's a safe I mean, if you think about it,
- 7:41Speaker 1: I mean, it's one of the safer investments you could
- 7:45Speaker 1: make in the world that has I mean beyond you know, bonds,
- 7:51Speaker 1: you know, US government bonds are real estate market. You know,
- 7:56Speaker 1: especially if you know you're in it for ten years,
- 7:58Speaker 1: you're going to make money.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, and that and that's what I mean. That's the
- 8:02Speaker 2: part that surprised me is I didn't know as a
- 8:04Speaker 2: foreign company you could buy non commercial like residential real estate.
- 8:10Speaker 2: That to me, it was just like really, I don't know,
- 8:13Speaker 2: it just seems weird that we would have our country
- 8:16Speaker 2: for sale, of our country for sale.
- 8:20Speaker 1: It's it's a big issue, and it's like one that
- 8:22Speaker 1: states are talking about about, especially farmland, about you know,
- 8:26Speaker 1: foreign nations owning our farmland and everything else.
- 8:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because I don't think we'd be allowed to buy
- 8:33Speaker 2: plots in China.
- 8:34Speaker 3: No.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah, you can't buy land in Mexico technically, yeah.
- 8:40Speaker 2: Because because if in like residential stuff in Mexico, you
- 8:43Speaker 2: never actually own it. Like if you buy a condo
- 8:45Speaker 2: in Mexico, it's isn't it. It's just like a ninety
- 8:48Speaker 2: nine or one hundred year lease.
- 8:50Speaker 1: If you're not if you're not a citizen of Mexico. Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Right, So that that's why it's so odd to me,
- 8:57Speaker 2: because we're we we allow it to happen. And that's
- 9:00Speaker 2: and that's going to be our biggest that's going to
- 9:02Speaker 2: be our our great failing, is the fact that we
- 9:05Speaker 2: set all this in motion to screw ourselves.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that was you know, especially in the
- 9:13Speaker 4: early eighties, is when you know Japan started like South
- 9:15Speaker 4: In Corporation bought Rockefeller Center.
- 9:19Speaker 1: South Incorporation as an American corporation.
- 9:22Speaker 3: There's a Japanese US it's not okay.
- 9:24Speaker 1: South Incorporation was started in Dallas, Texas. It's the parent
- 9:27Speaker 1: company at seven to eleven. It was that it was
- 9:29Speaker 1: the Thompson family.
- 9:31Speaker 3: I thought it was.
- 9:32Speaker 4: I thought it was bought out. I thought it was
- 9:37Speaker 4: bought out. But it's a Japanese company that owns like
- 9:41Speaker 4: Times Square, I was bought up by And that was
- 9:44Speaker 4: in the early eighties, and so that started happening then,
- 9:47Speaker 4: and it just caught on Hawaii I think is half
- 9:51Speaker 4: Japanese owned.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Oh that was a whole I mean, but the Japanese
- 9:55Speaker 1: were just looking for investments, you know, and that's h
- 10:00Speaker 1: Everyone thinks the Chinese government has more nefarious things afoot.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Well, I mean, I've never heard the term of foot
- 10:10Speaker 4: used in a very long time, you know.
- 10:13Speaker 2: What, though, I'm glad he did because it calls attention
- 10:15Speaker 2: to it. It stood out more, didn't it. Yes, absolutely,
- 10:20Speaker 2: if you see a headline that says foreign nation is
- 10:23Speaker 2: doing is doing something and something something is afoot, you're
- 10:27Speaker 2: going to pay attention to that.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Well, but it's I mean, this is before I don't
- 10:35Speaker 1: like how Trump is handling the immigration thing. I don't like.
- 10:38Speaker 1: But we should never have gotten to this point where
- 10:41Speaker 1: we let so many people in and all of a
- 10:43Speaker 1: sudden we're like, oh, we don't know who's in our
- 10:44Speaker 1: country because no other country does that. Yeah, and the
- 10:47Speaker 1: same thing, I mean, we we are already one of
- 10:50Speaker 1: the biggest problems in this country is it's like we
- 10:53Speaker 1: let it become a huge problem, then we go, oh,
- 10:55Speaker 1: we' probably should do something about that.
- 10:57Speaker 2: He said. He said, we have a we have a
- 11:00Speaker 2: real reactionary problem in this country. We don't like to
- 11:03Speaker 2: solve any problems because we have a difficulty in doing
- 11:06Speaker 2: it because the problem has run them up for so long.
- 11:08Speaker 2: We don't know how to go back and fix it.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Because most of our problems they're not problems that happened overnight.
- 11:15Speaker 2: They're problems that happened over twenty thirty, forty fifty, sixty
- 11:18Speaker 2: eighty years of this of this stuff. And that's how
- 11:22Speaker 2: it's crazy to me. I think about I know roughly
- 11:24Speaker 2: what my parents made in the eighties. I remember the
- 11:27Speaker 2: Honda Accord they bought in nineteen eighty six, Honda Accord
- 11:31Speaker 2: d X, and that was a little beat ninety nine
- 11:35Speaker 2: hundred bucks in nineteen eighty six. By today's standard, that's
- 11:40Speaker 2: like a one hundred thousand dollars car adjusted for the
- 11:45Speaker 2: relation and all that kind of stuff. I mean, that's
- 11:47Speaker 2: insane when you think about it.
- 11:50Speaker 4: Yeah, before they you know, reformed their or their image
- 11:56Speaker 4: or whatever, it came good.
- 12:01Speaker 3: The key Rillo you could buy one, get one free.
- 12:03Speaker 3: I remember that.
- 12:06Speaker 2: When when the head of Kia got visited by three
- 12:08Speaker 2: spirits in the night and woke up and said, KI,
- 12:12Speaker 2: is there everybody?
- 12:14Speaker 4: Yeah, it was buy one, get one free for the
- 12:17Speaker 4: Kyrillo and it was ten grand.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's insane.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:24Speaker 4: My first like when I saw the ad, I was like,
- 12:26Speaker 4: how shitty is this car? Just like, you know what
- 12:29Speaker 4: ten grand? Take two of them? Like I'm trying to do.
- 12:36Speaker 1: You want to talk about something. Car prices are just
- 12:39Speaker 1: oh yeah, insane.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's all the new car prices are insane.
- 12:45Speaker 4: The used cars are plummeting in value, which is really odd.
- 12:56Speaker 1: They will until the economy tanks and then all of
- 12:58Speaker 1: a sudden, used car prices are Yeah, people are either
- 13:02Speaker 1: holding on to them or they're buying us. But I
- 13:04Speaker 1: mean f two fifty or an escalator. They're all over
- 13:10Speaker 1: one hundred thousand dollars. I mean, it's yeah crazy.
- 13:14Speaker 4: Yeah, my brother got uh because they have, you know,
- 13:17Speaker 4: multiple kids, so they're always taking them to practices and stuff.
- 13:20Speaker 4: So they uh, he's got the uh the suburban uh
- 13:26Speaker 4: and he just bought a brand new one and that
- 13:27Speaker 4: was one hundred and one hundred and ten thousand dollars.
- 13:31Speaker 2: From So I did a I did a quick check.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I was way off of my Honda Cord math by
- 13:40Speaker 2: the way. Yeah, I was, Oh, you don't know who
- 13:44Speaker 2: owns South Lane. You'll be quiet. Uh. So in nineteen
- 13:47Speaker 2: eighty six, if it's whatever. Uh, in nineteen eighty six,
- 13:52Speaker 2: ninety nine hundred bucks is equivalent to approximately twenty nine
- 13:55Speaker 2: thousand dollars to day, and and the the MSRP of
- 14:01Speaker 2: a the starting MSRP for a Honda court Lex today
- 14:05Speaker 2: is twenty eight ninety five. All Right, I guess that's
- 14:09Speaker 2: not as bad as I thought. But still, my parents
- 14:11Speaker 2: could afford that car much more. It was much more
- 14:14Speaker 2: affordable in the eighties than it is today.
- 14:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I mean you could buy you know, you
- 14:19Speaker 4: can buy a house because your mortgage wasn't that extravagant,
- 14:25Speaker 4: like my my nephew just bought his house and luckily
- 14:29Speaker 4: he was in the military.
- 14:30Speaker 3: His military pension covers his mortgage.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I wouldn't say he was lucky. I think he planned it.
- 14:39Speaker 3: To be in the military.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, you'll just wake up like, oh my god,
- 14:42Speaker 2: I've been the military today. What unfortunate?
- 14:45Speaker 3: Well, I mean luckily for like him putting in the
- 14:48Speaker 3: time to get the pension. Yes, so.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but he did, you know, his two tours and
- 14:55Speaker 4: Afghanistan and won in Iraq and came back and.
- 14:58Speaker 2: You know, I was actually thinking about that just the
- 15:00Speaker 2: other day. As far as I'm concerned, he should have
- 15:01Speaker 2: a free car.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Yeah, but even he talks about it, he's like, you know,
- 15:11Speaker 4: he's twenty seven, and he's like most people his age
- 15:15Speaker 4: are in.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Apartments or you know, have roommates and stuff like that.
- 15:20Speaker 4: And a number of yeah a lot, Yeah for sure.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Anyway, Dallas ain't cheap, y'all. Yeah, one O seven ants
- 15:34Speaker 2: one hundred seven sixty one dollars to live a financially
- 15:38Speaker 2: comfortable lifestyle in DFW.
- 15:42Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I think that right there is also part of the
- 15:45Speaker 2: reason why DFW is a blob remember the movie The Blob.
- 15:51Speaker 2: It just keeps spreading and eating and growing. That's what
- 15:54Speaker 2: DFW is. It is the metroplex blob. It just keeps
- 15:59Speaker 2: growing in, spanding and absorbing all these little towns that
- 16:04Speaker 2: used to be these cute little farm towns and hamlets
- 16:06Speaker 2: like Frisco, Plain, Oh, Salina. These are all all Wataga.
- 16:11Speaker 2: These are all like cute little farm towns and things,
- 16:14Speaker 2: and now they're just new places to put Starbucks in Chipotles,
- 16:18Speaker 2: along with new somewhat affordable housing because the farther out
- 16:21Speaker 2: you get, the cheaper it is. Eventually we're going to
- 16:24Speaker 2: have an actual, honest to god Red River rivalry where
- 16:27Speaker 2: it's Texas and Oklahoma Duken get out for shitty real
- 16:31Speaker 2: estate along the Red River.
- 16:36Speaker 1: I think that'll be just Texas trying to keep the
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oaki's out.
- 16:42Speaker 2: Yeah, and then eventually going like well maybe if we
- 16:46Speaker 2: take a little bit there and a little bit there,
- 16:49Speaker 2: it just expand.
- 16:50Speaker 4: Texas a little bit. What city do you live in,
- 16:54Speaker 4: hook Warns, That's where I live.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:59Speaker 1: Well, you know when you see a high rise in Sherman,
- 17:04Speaker 1: you'll know we've run out of real estate.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Give it five years, Yeah, five years it's gonna happen.

- 20:00Speaker 2: complicated order they received. They shared that on social media
- 20:04Speaker 2: and it has gone very viral. It was a large
- 20:08Speaker 2: hand tossed pizza with these special requests triple pepperoni, extra cheese,
- 20:17Speaker 2: banana peppers, light holapanos, half chicken, half mushrooms, half caramelized onions,
- 20:24Speaker 2: half olives, and light sauce. And then the note on
- 20:29Speaker 2: the order to try to explain the situation. Yes, I
- 20:33Speaker 2: know this looks insane and you're probably like, who is
- 20:36Speaker 2: this dude? I have a very pregnant wife. I'm done
- 20:39Speaker 2: questioning what she wants. I'm scared of her, and honestly
- 20:43Speaker 2: you should be too. Thank you and god speed. That's
- 20:47Speaker 2: the end of the order.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Wow, that is.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Birth control. That's what that is. You want birth control?
- 20:57Speaker 2: Show that to someone, Hey, this is what happens is
- 21:00Speaker 2: you're a pregnant woman around you.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yep.
- 21:06Speaker 2: Now, someone did bring up a solid point, which is
- 21:09Speaker 2: and I even thought this when I saw the order
- 21:11Speaker 2: myself a couple of days ago, when you have so
- 21:14Speaker 2: many requests of half this, half that, like half chicken,
- 21:20Speaker 2: half mushrooms, half caramelized onions, half olives. That's now four halves.
- 21:26Speaker 2: There's only two halves, right, So where are you putting
- 21:30Speaker 2: some of those halves? Because she may not want the
- 21:32Speaker 2: chicken and the mushrooms touching.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Oh I'm but that's the thing. Well, I don't feel
- 21:39Speaker 1: sorry for pizza companies. Is they make these an option.
- 21:42Speaker 1: You go on pretty much all the websites. Now you
- 21:45Speaker 1: can do half, you know, left, half, you want this,
- 21:48Speaker 1: right half you want this. They made it to order.
- 21:52Speaker 1: This is what you get.
- 21:53Speaker 2: And you know what, that's fine because at least then
- 21:55Speaker 2: on that order it shows right half left, half right,
- 22:00Speaker 2: just as half half half half half. The order didn't
- 22:02Speaker 2: give her right or a left, so that as far
- 22:04Speaker 2: as the pizza, the guy making the pizza has to
- 22:06Speaker 2: try to figure out, all right, which half gets what?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Well, suck should be that guy.
- 22:17Speaker 2: And even in the note, the guy that plays the order,
- 22:20Speaker 2: even in the note he says, look, I'm scared of her.
- 22:22Speaker 2: You should be too. Thank you. And God's speed God's
- 22:25Speaker 2: beat is just another word for good luck.
- 22:28Speaker 4: Yeah, my my ex girlfriends once told me when she
- 22:32Speaker 4: was pregnant to her, the thing was she never and
- 22:34Speaker 4: I've never seen her eat these. I've never seen her
- 22:37Speaker 4: eat ribs, but when she was pregnant, it was just
- 22:40Speaker 4: that she wanted ribs and vanilla ice cream simultaneously.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Like she'd dip it.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Yeah. Mmm, that's what comes horrible.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Well, hang on, I mean, face value it it starts
- 22:57Speaker 2: out sounding gross. But what flavor ice are we talking?
- 23:01Speaker 3: Just plain vanilla? Okay?
- 23:03Speaker 1: What kind of barbecue are we talking about? Texas, Kansas City? Okay? Okay,
- 23:08Speaker 1: so not a lot of heavy sauce, all right?
- 23:11Speaker 3: You know yeah?
- 23:11Speaker 2: Are we talking about beef rib or pork rib?
- 23:14Speaker 3: Beef ribs?
- 23:15Speaker 1: Holy Jesus, it's like a rib Sunday. I try it.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I know what we're selling at the fair next year,
- 23:30Speaker 4: because you know, ribbed Sundays would fly at the Texas
- 23:33Speaker 4: State Fair.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Absolutely. You don't need a spoon, you just use a
- 23:37Speaker 2: big ass beef rib to scoop it out.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I would try that, absolutely. And that's why I asked
- 23:42Speaker 2: if it was a pork rib, because if it's like
- 23:44Speaker 2: a fruity ice cream with a pork rib, they might
- 23:46Speaker 2: pair nicely.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Okay, that was that was the most elegant white trash
- 23:52Speaker 4: thing I've ever heard.
- 23:53Speaker 2: That's not a white trash thing. That's that's very culinary
- 23:56Speaker 2: of me. Certain fruits and pork, they they compliment and
- 24:00Speaker 2: one another. Mm hmm.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Yes, like a like a mango sorbet with with with
- 24:07Speaker 1: with a pork rib.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I'm not gonna lie. That sounds good. I tried.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd even try that.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Yeah, and honestly, like where I lived, throw a little
- 24:21Speaker 2: Caribbean heat in there, spicy sweet.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, come on, Yeah, you guys are weird.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I mean, you know what, I remember when we you know,
- 24:30Speaker 1: Denny's launched the bacon ice cream and yeah, they brought
- 24:32Speaker 1: it up to the studio. Sounded awful, tasted good, and I.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Think that I think what they did with that was
- 24:39Speaker 2: I think the ice cream is like a caramel with
- 24:41Speaker 2: the bacon. I think that helped or was it?
- 24:46Speaker 3: I thought it was just vanilla.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Maybe it was m maybe flavored ice cream.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, and it it sounds gross, but it was actually
- 24:55Speaker 1: it was pretty good.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I mean I wouldn't seek it out and order it, no,
- 25:02Speaker 2: but I definitely ate it for free. Like and then
- 25:06Speaker 2: and like Trey is like, you know what, not bad?
- 25:10Speaker 2: I've eaten.
- 25:12Speaker 4: For two guys that don't smoke weed. This is the
- 25:14Speaker 4: most stonor conversation I've ever had with you too.
- 25:20Speaker 2: I can't believe you've never heard about fruit and pork parings.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I mean you obviously haven't watched enough Cooking Channel or
- 25:26Speaker 2: Food Network. That's a very common pairing.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Pork and uh. I mean I've had like apple stuffed
- 25:35Speaker 4: pork chops before.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Exactly. There you go, fruit and pork.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Fine apple with pork, very Polynesian. Yeah.
- 25:44Speaker 2: The same thing like with game meats as well, that
- 25:46Speaker 2: you'll see things like like BlackBerry reductions with venison or something.
- 25:52Speaker 2: See it's out there. Yeah, but let's go back to
- 25:55Speaker 2: the Let's go back to the half gallon of Bluebell
- 25:58Speaker 2: Vanila in a Texas beef rib.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Mh.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I'm look, I'm not a food vendor. I've never been
- 26:05Speaker 2: in food service, never been in the food industry. But
- 26:09Speaker 2: if we want to make a splash the Texas Sunday
- 26:15Speaker 2: with the Texas Beef rib at the State Fair of Texas,
- 26:17Speaker 2: I mean, Raj and you'll be able to show your
- 26:21Speaker 2: face and Mesquite, you'll.
- 26:22Speaker 4: Be your hometown hero. They're going to have a parade,
- 26:29Speaker 4: And I've never seen her eat ribs.
- 26:32Speaker 3: After that. She would just tell she's like, that's all
- 26:34Speaker 3: I that's all I wanted to eat.
- 26:36Speaker 4: Was it was an ice cream And we were together
- 26:39Speaker 4: for six years and I never saw her eat a
- 26:41Speaker 4: rib once.
- 26:43Speaker 2: That is crazy, so weird.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it's weird what those hormones will do.
- 26:50Speaker 2: And it's amazing too because you can spend years in
- 26:53Speaker 2: a relationship arguing over what to have for dinner, what
- 26:58Speaker 2: to get to eat, but it is her being pregnant
- 27:01Speaker 2: to finally come up with a goddamn answer. So next time,
- 27:07Speaker 2: next time you want your wife to actually decide what
- 27:10Speaker 2: to eat for dinner, you gotta knock her up.
- 27:14Speaker 3: That's an expensive dinner. It is.
- 27:15Speaker 2: It's a very expensive meal. And and the downside is
- 27:21Speaker 2: she's gonna tell you what she wants.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Those rooms are going to college. And I have a
- 27:29Speaker 1: name for it, the Dino Zimpica Light Delight. Okay, comes
- 27:36Speaker 1: with a sponsorship and everything. Order your ribs Sunday and
- 27:47Speaker 1: then get your shot.
- 27:53Speaker 3: Yeah, we're gonna be millionaires next year.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Didn't she dance at Platinum Club one night? You're in

- 29:09Speaker 2: a relationship and you seem pretty happy. Raj, I think
- 29:12Speaker 2: you're dating someone. You seem pretty happy. I'm just saying,
- 29:16Speaker 2: maybe you did this already and didn't realize it, or
- 29:19Speaker 2: if something goes south, keep this in mind. Okay, if
- 29:24Speaker 2: you want to find the love of your life, you
- 29:26Speaker 2: can do what Matthew McConaughey did, and that is you
- 29:30Speaker 2: gotta check your wet dreams because that's Matthew. It's Matthew McConaughey,
- 29:36Speaker 2: and he doesn't know from you know, keeping things to himself.
- 29:40Speaker 2: According to TMC, Matthew McConaughey was feeling way more than
- 29:44Speaker 2: all right, all right, all right during a dream one night,
- 29:46Speaker 2: revealing he ejaculated in his sleep and it let him
- 29:50Speaker 2: do his wife, Camilla Elvis. He made the emission admission
- 29:55Speaker 2: in his Lyrics of Living newsletter last Friday. That's according
- 29:59Speaker 2: to US Weekly, He explained he laid his head down
- 30:03Speaker 2: on the pillow one night and dreamt about his eighty
- 30:05Speaker 2: eighth birthday, where he was surrounded by twenty two women
- 30:08Speaker 2: and eighty eight children, having fathered one child for each
- 30:11Speaker 2: year of his life. Again, this is a dream. McConaughey claims.
- 30:15Speaker 2: The women all knew each other well, and they had
- 30:16Speaker 2: shared happy times and good memories. No green eyed monster
- 30:20Speaker 2: jealousy rearing its ugly head at the affair, And then
- 30:22Speaker 2: he writes, they all gathered around me on the porch
- 30:25Speaker 2: for a family photograph, and we looked toward a large
- 30:27Speaker 2: format box camera on a tripod at the top of
- 30:30Speaker 2: the driveway three two to one. Then I came, oh,
- 30:33Speaker 2: I'm sorry, and then I came. Matthew says he.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Learned less the best weed.
- 30:42Speaker 2: He really does, and it's been that way forever. We're
- 30:44Speaker 2: talking about naked playing the bongos back in the day to.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I mean, he was hanging out with Woody Harrelson last week,
- 30:51Speaker 1: so you know, maybe that's the fire.
- 30:55Speaker 2: That explains it.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Woodies weed. Yeah, I'd go to the dispensary.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I mean, if there was ever something he was going
- 31:02Speaker 1: to give you a nocturnal emission, Woody's weed seems like
- 31:05Speaker 1: it would be the uh leading choice.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta be careful you go to the right
- 31:12Speaker 2: score though, because I mean.
- 31:15Speaker 3: But how do you lead with that?
- 31:16Speaker 4: Like, Hey, here's how I know that you were going
- 31:19Speaker 4: to that you and I are going to be together
- 31:20Speaker 4: forever is because and.
- 31:24Speaker 3: Then that happened. I don't know how you open with that. Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 2: See, I'm still waiting for the link to his now wife, okay. Uh.
- 31:33Speaker 2: He says he learned a lesson ghosts of girlfriend's past style,
- 31:37Speaker 2: realizing he did not want to be a bachelor forever.
- 31:40Speaker 2: He wanted to be a father and a partner, although
- 31:42Speaker 2: in this case there's like twenty two of them, so whatever,
- 31:44Speaker 2: it's a dream. But Conaughey says he stopped looking for
- 31:48Speaker 2: the perfect woman, allowing the universe to simply where it's
- 31:52Speaker 2: magic and just a few months later he met Camilla,
- 31:56Speaker 2: the only woman he says he's quote ever wanted to
- 31:59Speaker 2: take on a day, sleep with, or wake up next to.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Something that probably feels kind of odd for any other
- 32:06Speaker 2: woman that he took on a date, slept with and
- 32:10Speaker 2: woke up next to, work up, or woke up next to. Prior.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Matthew and Camilla met in six and welcomed two children
- 32:20Speaker 2: together before they married in twenty twelve, and the third
- 32:23Speaker 2: just months after tying the Nott. Moral of the story
- 32:25Speaker 2: big life lessons can hit you when you least expect it.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Just make sure you shower off after they do.
- 32:32Speaker 1: I've never had one, so I'm.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Thank you me either, never had but one.
- 32:42Speaker 1: What wet dream dream?
- 32:45Speaker 4: Oh no, I mean I think maybe when I was twelve,
- 32:48Speaker 4: maybe somewhere in there like those that happens.
- 32:53Speaker 3: But no as an adult, no, like that's even.
- 32:56Speaker 1: As I never had one at period.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Same same with me, Same with me. Don't know why.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Maybe it's because I had knocked him out so much
- 33:07Speaker 2: during the day. I wasn't backed up at nights.
- 33:14Speaker 3: He was just man handling yourself.
- 33:22Speaker 2: I was into self care well before it was cool.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Yeah, but mcconaugh. He's got I mean, he's let a
- 33:28Speaker 4: weird life like his dad. Am I correcting this that
- 33:31Speaker 4: his dad passed away having sex with his mom.
- 33:35Speaker 2: That sounds familiar.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I believe that's right.
- 33:41Speaker 4: So him revealing this isn't the most shocking thing I
- 33:48Speaker 4: think it's ever come out of his mouth.
- 33:50Speaker 2: It's not, but him putting it in his newsletter is
- 33:52Speaker 2: one thing. And my assumption is if you put it
- 33:55Speaker 2: in your newsletter to tell the masses, I'm assuming he
- 33:59Speaker 2: told his life this. I'm assuming she knows well, she's
- 34:03Speaker 2: read it now.
- 34:06Speaker 1: And if she didn't know, Yeah, if you're married to someone,
- 34:10Speaker 1: do you really subscribe to their newsletter?
- 34:15Speaker 3: Why does Matthew will Kinda have a newsletter? That's when
- 34:20Speaker 3: you know you're bored.
- 34:26Speaker 2: She gets mad at you. Why didn't you tell me
- 34:28Speaker 2: about blah blah blah blah.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Baby.
- 34:30Speaker 2: I put it in the newsletter. It's on the fridge,
- 34:35Speaker 2: it's in all Right, all right, all right weekly.
- 34:41Speaker 3: I would read that.
- 34:43Speaker 2: Well, you can't. It's a newsletter.
- 34:45Speaker 1: It's public.
- 34:45Speaker 2: You can subscribe to it somewhere. You just sign up
- 34:48Speaker 2: for the all Right Express. I'm assuming it's weekly musings.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Things that go on inside McConaughey's head.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't h I don't want to know. I
- 35:01Speaker 3: don't want to know that much.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Like he's a very talented actor, but whatever happens inside
- 35:05Speaker 4: his head, like I don't need to read.
- 35:09Speaker 3: That sounds like too much.
- 35:11Speaker 2: What was it the book? Was it his memoir or
- 35:13Speaker 2: whatever book he wrote a handful of years ago. I
- 35:15Speaker 2: think it was called Green Lights. That was very well received.
- 35:18Speaker 2: I think a lot of people. I got a buddy
- 35:20Speaker 2: of mine read it, said it was really good. I've
- 35:22Speaker 2: read a couple of excerpts out of it. Whoever wrote
- 35:26Speaker 2: it's it's really good.
- 35:30Speaker 3: The ghost writer fantastic.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Yeah, whichever ghostwriter they got, they did a really good
- 35:34Speaker 2: job interviewing McConaughey and writing for him.
- 35:38Speaker 1: But then it might be him. You never, I've never.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I haven't read it, so I don't know. Because some
- 35:42Speaker 2: people are gifted in a way of writing the same
- 35:46Speaker 2: way they sound, right, Yeah, and then there are people
- 35:51Speaker 2: that are really good at writing how other people sound,
- 35:53Speaker 2: and then they make them a living on that. I
- 35:58Speaker 2: would I would subscribed to Matthew's musings. That sounds like
- 36:04Speaker 2: a good newsletter.
- 36:05Speaker 3: I would do that.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Yeah, And Look, maybe it's just because I got stranger
- 36:10Speaker 2: things on the brain because we've been watching it. Uh,
- 36:12Speaker 2: you know that the season five that's out now, they've
- 36:16Speaker 2: been real convenient about skipping over the very obvious puberty
- 36:21Speaker 2: things going on with these kids, because I mean, over
- 36:24Speaker 2: the eleven years they've been doing this show, I mean,
- 36:26Speaker 2: these kids are taller, they're you know, they look completely different. Uh.
- 36:32Speaker 2: They're talking about all these supernatural things, but not one
- 36:35Speaker 2: of them has had a wet dream through any of it.
- 36:39Speaker 3: I didn't realize it's been for eleven years. That's incredible.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Yeah, eleven year, eleven years from season one to this
- 36:47Speaker 2: final season.
- 36:48Speaker 3: Yeah, wow, all right, and not one wet dream for
- 36:54Speaker 3: one of these.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Not a single let dream like four or five de mcgrgans,
- 36:58Speaker 2: and you know, the all these other things happening, you're
- 37:02Speaker 2: going between dimensions, and not one of them woke up
- 37:06Speaker 2: wondering why is my bed I'll wet? And why is
- 37:08Speaker 2: my leg sticky? And the downside is eleven being extremely psychic.
- 37:14Speaker 2: She's gonna know, Mike, she knows, and she knows that
- 37:18Speaker 2: you dreamed about Max when it happened. I have no reference.
- 37:24Speaker 2: I know you don't betray to us. That's that's important enough. Meanwhile,
- 37:29Speaker 2: there's there's Meanwhile in the next bed, there's Will having
- 37:32Speaker 2: what dreams about Mike.
- 37:34Speaker 3: I guess that's that seems part for the course.
- 37:40Speaker 2: I could probably keep going, but I think we've got
- 37:42Speaker 2: I think we've covered it enough. I do say, I
- 37:46Speaker 2: do give. I don't know if McConaughey told his wife
- 37:49Speaker 2: before they became a couple or dated whatever. Hey, I
- 37:53Speaker 2: had this way dream and that I met you. So
- 37:57Speaker 2: I feel like I feel like that's not a first
- 37:59Speaker 2: date topic.
- 38:00Speaker 3: You know, that's a that's never did. That's a never topic,
- 38:06Speaker 3: you know what.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Maybe you're right, maybe he did just save it for
- 38:08Speaker 2: the newsletter and just hope that she would read it.
- 38:15Speaker 1: I feel like he had it like written down with
- 38:17Speaker 1: calligraphy and gave it to her some kind of like
- 38:19Speaker 1: one month anniversary. Yeah. That that in a lone star.
- 38:30Speaker 2: It's on a scroll. She unfurls it, sees the calligraphy,
- 38:35Speaker 2: and the lone star drops out of it as well.
- 38:40Speaker 1: I'm sure blow up, blow blow my load looks far,
- 38:42Speaker 1: you know, respectable, you know, and calligraphy, it really does.
- 38:49Speaker 2: I'm gonna have a fun afternoon on canvas has anyone
- 38:58Speaker 2: ever gotten a parental warning on canvas? Because if not,
- 39:01Speaker 2: I'm about to have content for my newsletter. Oh, share
