- 0:00Speaker 1: Because Fuck You That's Why is a founding member of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to b F y tw Episode three
- 0:40Speaker 2: one one. Because Fuck You That's Why is a panel
- 0:47Speaker 2: show inspired podcast. We play silly games and we have
- 0:49Speaker 2: a great time doing it. We're gonna do that again.
- 0:52Speaker 2: We're gonna do it with you listening, and I hope
- 0:54Speaker 2: you have a great time along with us. As per usual,
- 0:57Speaker 2: I've got my two uh, every day standard normal party
- 1:02Speaker 2: hosts hanging out, jumping in the games, having some fun.
- 1:06Speaker 2: The team leaders we're gonna start with. He's a gamer
- 1:08Speaker 2: and a storyteller, and he used to be my youngest friend,
- 1:11Speaker 2: but now he's Aggie. He's a game.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Whenever to look at his face, you think he was
- 1:39Speaker 3: hearing something different.
- 1:40Speaker 2: We've got brand new headphones and let's just say it's
- 1:43Speaker 2: not exactly the same sound I'm used to.
- 1:46Speaker 4: Right, it's a little different.
- 1:48Speaker 2: It's very echoey. It's it's very strange. But it's an adjustment.
- 1:53Speaker 2: I'll get used to it.
- 1:54Speaker 4: We'll figure it out.
- 1:55Speaker 2: In the meanwhile, it's not it's not an emergency. I
- 1:57Speaker 2: can hear just fine.
- 1:59Speaker 5: There's a vall. I'm a juster on the thing.
- 2:01Speaker 2: It's okay, maybe that'll help. I'll figure it out. I'll
- 2:04Speaker 2: play with it anyway. Yeah, so Augie our question this time,
- 2:10Speaker 2: and I have a story to go along with this.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Is there a recent failure that you're mildly ashamed of?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Oh god, I did not warn him about this question ahead.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Of time, folks, A recent failure.
- 2:24Speaker 2: That I really have to remember to be kinder to
- 2:26Speaker 2: Augie and give him the question before we get started.
- 2:29Speaker 5: Yeah, especially something so broad, because I got to narrow
- 2:31Speaker 5: this down.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It doesn't have to be a huge failure. It's just like, okay,
- 2:39Speaker 2: like I can't believe I did that.
- 2:40Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I've done that.
- 2:43Speaker 2: I have.
- 2:45Speaker 4: I have washed out.
- 2:47Speaker 5: A grinder that definitely had at least a little bit
- 2:51Speaker 5: of Keith left in it.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Oh no.
- 2:53Speaker 5: And it's like one of those taboo things you don't
- 2:56Speaker 5: do as a sowner. And it's not something like like
- 2:59Speaker 5: who knows how long that'stuf. It's been there for and
- 3:01Speaker 5: it was an accident, so it's not like a huge
- 3:03Speaker 5: anything was lost, but it's kind of like you waste something.
- 3:07Speaker 6: Uh.
- 3:07Speaker 5: And I've always still I've always been taught to not
- 3:10Speaker 5: waste if you can help it.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, no, I've been the same. My parents were
- 3:14Speaker 2: very much like waste not, want not. But no matter
- 3:18Speaker 2: how much waste I don't, I still want. So it
- 3:20Speaker 2: didn't really work out that way. Yeah no, but I
- 3:26Speaker 2: get it. I get it. I completely understand. And his opponent, uh,
- 3:30Speaker 2: he is a veteran and a podcaster, and technically a
- 3:32Speaker 2: veteran podcaster. It's Stevie. It's Steve joh Same question to you, sir, is,
- 3:44Speaker 2: is there is there a failure of yours that has
- 3:47Speaker 2: been recent, a recent failure that you are mildly ashamed of.
- 3:52Speaker 2: I'm not trying to get in the deep dark.
- 3:53Speaker 4: Yeah, we're not gonna get into that.
- 3:55Speaker 2: We're not gonna dark stuff. I'm looking for something light
- 3:57Speaker 2: that you screwed up, you feel a little.
- 3:59Speaker 6: Bat percent And I paid for it instantaneously, like I
- 4:04Speaker 6: screwed up, and I paid the price right away, and
- 4:07Speaker 6: it was before Augie helped me, like the week prior.
- 4:10Speaker 4: But I have a couple of cats.
- 4:11Speaker 6: They're amazing, right, and I'm very like, h what was
- 4:15Speaker 6: this babying them like their entire lives, But I like
- 4:20Speaker 6: scoop their liter like twice a day and stuff. And
- 4:22Speaker 6: one week I just didn't. I mean, I scooped it
- 4:25Speaker 6: every day, but I just didn't. I kept it in
- 4:27Speaker 6: the collector and stuff, and it's like a scented bag
- 4:30Speaker 6: and all that stuff.
- 4:30Speaker 4: So it's not horrible or whatever, but I have.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Issues walking downstairs and I usually carry it with the
- 4:37Speaker 6: garbage can, like so it doesn't break or anything. And
- 4:41Speaker 6: for some reason that to hell. I's like, nah, it's fine,
- 4:42Speaker 6: the bag will hold it fine. And I'm hobbling my
- 4:45Speaker 6: ass down there and I get it all the way
- 4:46Speaker 6: down to the stairs. I'm like, oh, thank god, cool,
- 4:48Speaker 6: get it over to the garbage can, and I have
- 4:50Speaker 6: to like lift the lid and I'm still holding off
- 4:52Speaker 6: like two hands, like oh god, this is heavy. It's
- 4:54Speaker 6: like fifteen pounds, you know, and like, yeah, get it
- 4:57Speaker 6: like up right now. For some reason, I can't get
- 4:59Speaker 6: it up but get the in the top at the
- 5:03Speaker 6: same time.
- 5:03Speaker 4: So as I get it like to where the lid.
- 5:06Speaker 6: Is, I think it like the lip hit the bag
- 5:08Speaker 6: and I pushed it over and a bunch of it
- 5:10Speaker 6: just fell over the front of me. It was so
- 5:14Speaker 6: fucking gross, Like I was there shaking everything.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I went right the fun upstairs.
- 5:23Speaker 6: I mean, I cleaned every I got everything else in there,
- 5:26Speaker 6: but went upstairs like fucking clean myself real quick, changed
- 5:28Speaker 6: my fucking clothes.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, this is disgusting. It was so gross.
- 5:32Speaker 4: And then that was the week after. Can you help
- 5:35Speaker 4: me carry this down.
- 5:36Speaker 5: The stas I'm not doing because I'm like, I'm like,
- 5:42Speaker 5: I was to go through a trash one day and
- 5:43Speaker 5: I happened to see like the aftermath on the front
- 5:46Speaker 5: of that fucking ben. I'm like, ah, who did this,
- 5:49Speaker 5: like come.
- 5:49Speaker 7: On it or something?
- 5:55Speaker 4: I got it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: All that was funny.
- 5:57Speaker 4: I thought I got it.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Those bags like, there's supposed to be meant for that,
- 6:02Speaker 5: but they may come so thin for some, but yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 5: I get it.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And finally I am your host pancils. Aaron Randolf hit
- 6:13Speaker 2: it some stones for.
- 6:29Speaker 5: I swear when we had just.
- 6:31Speaker 2: You you need to hear that headphones. We'll do that later,
- 6:36Speaker 2: but you need to hear that from from what I just.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Heard, weird.
- 6:39Speaker 5: I can just turn back up and I'll hear the
- 6:41Speaker 5: same incredible.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Oh man, I wish you would. I wish you listening could.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Have got a weird bass boost.
- 6:47Speaker 2: It's got a massive bass boost going on, and his
- 6:51Speaker 2: voice is like echoy, so it's in the background kind of.
- 6:54Speaker 2: So it's just oh man, it's amazing. Anyway, I really
- 6:57Speaker 2: enjoyed that. Okay, I'm your host pants Sarah and uh
- 7:02Speaker 2: my my story of failure and shame. I got invited
- 7:07Speaker 2: to be on the gate Leapers Resident Evil episode.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Oh nice? Hell yeah, you love Resident Evil.
- 7:13Speaker 6: It's like your favorite fucking franchise.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah, every one of the games.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Yeah, woah, yeah, Well I kind of I kind of
- 7:23Speaker 2: admitted first in the episode that I'm like, as much
- 7:25Speaker 2: as I have, as much as I've given of myself
- 7:27Speaker 2: to this fandom, I don't really love it that much anymore.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like I haven't like there was a trail of games
- 7:34Speaker 2: that were just awful Resident Evil, like six Resident Evil,
- 7:39Speaker 2: Operation Raccoon City, that awful multiplayer only one that they did. Yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 2: like there's there's there's been a bunch of Resident Evil
- 7:46Speaker 2: Survivor all the way back in the original PlayStation. There's
- 7:49Speaker 2: been a lot of Resident Evil disappointments for me, and
- 7:52Speaker 2: I just kind of came to the realization that I've
- 7:53Speaker 2: spent so much fucking money on these on this franchise,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and I'm only kind of like a mid link fan
- 8:00Speaker 2: of it. I have all of Theoard games.
- 8:05Speaker 5: All of them because you like five because of the
- 8:08Speaker 5: who you played it with, not so much of what
- 8:10Speaker 5: it was.
- 8:12Speaker 4: Five is my.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Favorite because you can play it co op and and
- 8:17Speaker 2: because it's not quick time event awful. In fact, you
- 8:21Speaker 2: can now turn the quick time events often in Resident five,
- 8:25Speaker 2: which makes the game even better.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Hell thank god.
- 8:29Speaker 2: So anyway, I got paired up with Audre because I
- 8:33Speaker 2: was considered to be a Resident Evil expert and Audra
- 8:36Speaker 2: didn't really know anything about Resident Evil at all, whereas
- 8:38Speaker 2: the other team had two middling fans who had played
- 8:42Speaker 2: some of the games, had seen some of the movies,
- 8:44Speaker 2: blah blah blah, and we were leading right up until
- 8:47Speaker 2: the final round, in which the final round was h
- 8:53Speaker 2: other famous raccoons in pop culture, which I was absolutely not.
- 9:01Speaker 2: I I had looked into zombie movies. I had looked
- 9:04Speaker 2: into I had looked into zombie characters like Stubs, the
- 9:08Speaker 2: Zombie and I Zombie and all those other things like
- 9:12Speaker 2: there were so many other things that I had just
- 9:14Speaker 2: like glimpsed into to try and prepare for this. I
- 9:17Speaker 2: was not expecting under any circumstances. A A A category
- 9:23Speaker 2: based on famous record culture, and I was so fucking helpless.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Oudro was like, it's my turn to carry you, and
- 9:32Speaker 2: sadly carry me. She attempted to do, but I literally
- 9:37Speaker 2: knew the example question, which was rocket raccoon, and nobody else.
- 9:42Speaker 4: I would have gotten too.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I was waiting for. I was waiting for Rocky from
- 9:46Speaker 2: Rocky and Bowling, but instead he did Rocky Raccoon from
- 9:49Speaker 2: the Beatles.
- 9:49Speaker 4: Song Oh Wow Wow.
- 9:53Speaker 2: So he obviously couldn't do two Rocky Raccoons, so he
- 9:56Speaker 2: elected to skip the other one. But I didn't know
- 10:00Speaker 2: that one, and the other team did, so like we
- 10:03Speaker 2: wound up losing pretty badly, pretty badly, and I was
- 10:07Speaker 2: upset because I couldn't answer a single fucking question. I
- 10:10Speaker 2: was like, oh my god, to be honest show where
- 10:13Speaker 2: I actually have the knowledge needed to triumph and to
- 10:17Speaker 2: get thrown at the final hurdle by something so completely unrelated.
- 10:22Speaker 2: I was like, man, I suck, and for like, for
- 10:25Speaker 2: like a full day, I was like, oh, man, I can't.
- 10:29Speaker 2: I can't get over how bad I was recons I know,
- 10:34Speaker 2: but I'm like it was shattering. It was literally shattering.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I was like, I'm the expert, That's why they paired
- 10:41Speaker 2: me with someone who doesn't know anything about it, okay,
- 10:44Speaker 2: and then the expert is thrown on his ass. I mean,
- 10:47Speaker 2: to be fair, Audre did get a couple, you know,
- 10:50Speaker 2: but I mean the other team just had most of
- 10:52Speaker 2: them like we couldn't.
- 10:53Speaker 4: They probably played the games and ship.
- 10:55Speaker 2: They just knew more about raccoons than I did. I
- 10:58Speaker 2: don't pay attention to the raccoons.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Funny.
- 11:01Speaker 6: I love that it came down to raccoons, though. That's
- 11:03Speaker 6: fucking amazing.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Something like some of the ones.
- 11:06Speaker 2: They said I knew after they said them, Like Sly
- 11:08Speaker 2: Cooper from the PlayStation Era. I knew Sly Cooper, but
- 11:13Speaker 2: not fast enough to get it. I'm just like, oh man, anyway,
- 11:17Speaker 2: that's still chaps my ass. But anyway, let's move on.
- 11:20Speaker 2: We're gonna play some games, and hopefully these won't chap
- 11:22Speaker 2: either of your asses. We're gonna play three sill games
- 11:26Speaker 2: starting with game one. It's worth one episode point and
- 11:29Speaker 2: it is called like share block. I've got three news
- 11:33Speaker 2: stories here, and all our players have to do is
- 11:36Speaker 2: tell me which one I would like, which one I
- 11:37Speaker 2: would share, and which one I would block on social media.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Whoever gets the correct combination or closest to the correct
- 11:43Speaker 2: combination will win and earn one episode point. Now, this
- 11:47Speaker 2: episode is titled Beautiful Disaster, so you may see a
- 11:50Speaker 2: theme as we play the entire episode. We're gonna start
- 11:54Speaker 2: with story number one. Ai has finally begun to kill
- 11:58Speaker 2: gorgeous South Korea, and murderer hatched plan using chat GPT.
- 12:08Speaker 2: So this is true? I mean, I mean, I don't
- 12:10Speaker 2: know why I have the urge to say this is
- 12:12Speaker 2: true before talking about so do you like imprison the
- 12:19Speaker 2: A a young woman identified only by her last name Kim,
- 12:24Speaker 2: has been accused of murders. She's twenty two years old
- 12:27Speaker 2: and she poisoned several men, and after she was arrested,
- 12:32Speaker 2: the police discovered that she used chat GPT to uh
- 12:36Speaker 2: to plan the murders. Now, chat GPT has security structures
- 12:41Speaker 2: in place to prevent against this very thing, but she
- 12:44Speaker 2: got around them by acting like she was concerned for
- 12:48Speaker 2: her own safety and she needed to know what kind
- 12:50Speaker 2: of medical dosage to avoid to avoid killing herself.
- 12:55Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, so.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Fucking She is apparently absolutely stunningly beautiful, but damnit. And
- 13:07Speaker 2: she was given a test by a psychologist and it
- 13:12Speaker 2: ranked her as a psychopath, and not just any psychopath.
- 13:16Speaker 2: To be ranked as a psychopath, you need to get
- 13:17Speaker 2: a twenty five or higher on this test. She got
- 13:21Speaker 2: a forty.
- 13:23Speaker 5: That's beyond psychopath.
- 13:25Speaker 2: That's that's that's beyond psychopathy.
- 13:28Speaker 6: We should figure out what test it is.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I don't know what that would be, but that's pretty
- 13:32Speaker 2: high considering the bar is twenty five.
- 13:35Speaker 4: Yees.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Her first victim was a test she It was her
- 13:41Speaker 2: boyfriend at the time, and she gave him a drink
- 13:44Speaker 2: laced with benzo diazepines. You're familiar with Benzos, as they're
- 13:51Speaker 2: popularly called, cause a bunch of dangerous side effects such
- 13:55Speaker 2: as low blood pressure, confusion, and slowed breathing, and if
- 14:00Speaker 2: these effects are severe enough, they can kill a person. Yep.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Fortunately for her ex, she didn't give him enough of
- 14:07Speaker 2: the drugs to kill him. He survived, and she decided
- 14:11Speaker 2: she needed to study her chosen murder weapon a little
- 14:14Speaker 2: bit more and that's when she turned to chat deep GPT.
- 14:19Speaker 2: After that, she killed two people. Her first murder was
- 14:22Speaker 2: in January and she went to a motel with a
- 14:25Speaker 2: man in his twenties and left the motel alone. He
- 14:28Speaker 2: was discovered dead in the same room the following day.
- 14:31Speaker 2: She tried it again in February. A couple of weeks later,
- 14:34Speaker 2: she took another young man to a different motel. He
- 14:36Speaker 2: also died, and she left alone. Her problem was she
- 14:40Speaker 2: did not pay attention to the cameras, as the cameras
- 14:43Speaker 2: at both motels caught her going in with the gentleman
- 14:46Speaker 2: and coming out alone. So the police quickly caught up
- 14:50Speaker 2: to her, but found out that she was literally using
- 14:54Speaker 2: chat GPT to plan her murders. Fuck man, the time
- 14:59Speaker 2: has come. People have figured out how to use AI
- 15:02Speaker 2: to kill. It is a matter of time before AI
- 15:05Speaker 2: does it.
- 15:05Speaker 4: She ranked that high in terms of like scale.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Yeah, if you rank that high, I'm pretty sure she
- 15:14Speaker 5: was fully aware of the cameras. It was probably like
- 15:18Speaker 5: just anar.
- 15:18Speaker 4: Either a bit of narcissism. Yeah, it's probably a bit
- 15:25Speaker 4: of narcissm.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Or potentially she probably thought genuinely that they can't prosecute
- 15:32Speaker 5: her because the she could probably shift the blame on
- 15:36Speaker 5: chat GPT, but where the laws aren't there yet, so
- 15:39Speaker 5: it kind of doesn't work that way yet.
- 15:41Speaker 4: But you still did it.
- 15:43Speaker 5: Yeah, she still did it.
- 15:44Speaker 4: She just used a tool to do it, And it's.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Not like chat GPT talked her into it.
- 15:49Speaker 4: No, you could go through it.
- 15:52Speaker 5: She found a work around, But that that does leave
- 15:55Speaker 5: chat GPT with a huge issue, which is okay, our
- 15:59Speaker 5: she can have can be worked around now to do this,
- 16:02Speaker 5: So either they have to find a way to stop
- 16:04Speaker 5: that or I.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Know AI bros will never agree with this, But I
- 16:07Speaker 2: feel like a I should never be used to dispense
- 16:10Speaker 2: medical advice ever.
- 16:12Speaker 4: No, not not even for for insurance companies. That not
- 16:16Speaker 4: even for.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Asking about your own, you know, issues, which is what
- 16:19Speaker 2: she was pretending to do. But I feel like it
- 16:22Speaker 2: shouldn't have given her anything at all. It should have
- 16:24Speaker 2: just said for medical advice, please turn to your doctor.
- 16:27Speaker 2: I am not a doctor, that's all.
- 16:29Speaker 4: Who should say that.
- 16:30Speaker 2: That's that's every AI on earth should be trained to
- 16:32Speaker 2: say that, and only that if somebody asks for medical advice,
- 16:35Speaker 2: because there is no AI on earth good enough to
- 16:40Speaker 2: to and and reliable enough to give medical advice.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Ever, No, I's fucked up.
- 16:49Speaker 5: But on the other hand, like, maybe now you can
- 16:54Speaker 5: use GBT to like figure out how to get around
- 16:58Speaker 5: certain other things, like how do I cheat on this video?
- 17:02Speaker 2: Okay?
- 17:04Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, I wonder what would I mean?
- 17:06Speaker 5: People are kids are already using it to try to
- 17:07Speaker 5: cheat and tests that like that?
- 17:09Speaker 7: Yeah, And I can only imagine what that's got to
- 17:13Speaker 7: look like in like an exam hall, because there's no
- 17:16Speaker 7: way in hell, you know, like one, you're not even
- 17:18Speaker 7: allowed to have your phone in your hand in most
- 17:20Speaker 7: exam halls, right, So are you going to be like.
- 17:23Speaker 5: Genuinely like whispering into your pocket?
- 17:25Speaker 8: Like what?
- 17:28Speaker 5: What?
- 17:29Speaker 4: What's this word? What's this word? Hey? Are you watching
- 17:36Speaker 4: me take a test? I don't know how to do
- 17:39Speaker 4: basic arithmetic?
- 17:40Speaker 5: Also, I don't know how to spell arithmetic.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Or all right, let's move on to story number two.
- 17:49Speaker 2: A camel beauty pageant has been rocked by a plastic
- 17:53Speaker 2: surgery cheating scandal.
- 17:55Speaker 5: See everybody's cheating using artificial means.
- 18:00Speaker 2: So the country of Oman takes camel beauty contests rather seriously.
- 18:05Speaker 2: I'm that's fair, Whether racing or beauty, it's serious business
- 18:10Speaker 2: there because of their cultural and historical significance. And they
- 18:13Speaker 2: have sky high prize pools. We're talking millions, tens of millions.
- 18:21Speaker 4: Really, yes, I should get camel.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Unfortunately, there is no contest on earth where someone will
- 18:32Speaker 2: not try to cheat. The twenty twenty six Camel Beauty
- 18:38Speaker 2: Show festival was organized in February in the town of
- 18:41Speaker 2: Al Musunah. Apologize if I mispronounced anything, some fifty miles
- 18:47Speaker 2: from the Omani capital of a scott it's a very
- 18:51Speaker 2: You might find the idea of a camel beauty contest ridiculous,
- 18:55Speaker 2: but it is a very important expression of culture in
- 18:58Speaker 2: the region. Oman's people were traditionally nomadic Bedouin tribes and
- 19:05Speaker 2: for them, camels were literally their lifelines. Not only were
- 19:10Speaker 2: they vehicles and beasts of burden, but in tough times
- 19:12Speaker 2: they were sources of food. So it's really comparable the
- 19:17Speaker 2: way we treat horses over here. Horses, no, not typically,
- 19:23Speaker 2: but I imagine some of our western awful of situations
- 19:29Speaker 2: where it was that or death might have might have
- 19:32Speaker 2: had some horse meat. I'm I'm not even going to
- 19:35Speaker 2: pursue that. Let's move on. So, you know, on top
- 19:40Speaker 2: of you know, the these the these uh, these camel
- 19:45Speaker 2: beauty pageants being a way to appreciate these animals and
- 19:49Speaker 2: their contributions to human life, but there's also a lot
- 19:52Speaker 2: of money in it, so naturally that has attracted the
- 19:55Speaker 2: attention of dubious camel breeders. Trying to get a piece
- 19:59Speaker 2: of the pot by investing a lot of cash and
- 20:02Speaker 2: effort to rear high grade camels with perfect looks. The
- 20:06Speaker 2: judges apparently look for a shiny coat with a distinct color,
- 20:10Speaker 2: a long and wide neck, a large and smoothly contoured
- 20:14Speaker 2: head and drooping lips, long eyelashes, and a shapely, full
- 20:18Speaker 2: hump with impeccable posture.
- 20:20Speaker 4: So sexy.
- 20:23Speaker 5: Yeah, this is starting get a little weird. However, like
- 20:27Speaker 5: a horse show and more like you know, like a pageant.
- 20:33Speaker 2: As I said from the start, there is no contest
- 20:35Speaker 2: in which people will not cheat, and in this case
- 20:39Speaker 2: they resorted to underhanded tactics to get ahead. Judges in
- 20:44Speaker 2: Oman busted twenty camel owners WOW who had attempted to
- 20:49Speaker 2: enhance their animals looks, and to do so there were
- 20:52Speaker 2: used a number of methods. Some animals had received hyaluronic
- 20:57Speaker 2: acid injections to have poudy lips, and other had silicone
- 21:00Speaker 2: filters to shape their noses. Some uses botox injections to
- 21:05Speaker 2: soften the hard edges and corners of the camel's faces,
- 21:09Speaker 2: and some of their humps had more silicone filler than
- 21:12Speaker 2: actual fat. Finally, there were camels who were unnaturally fit
- 21:17Speaker 2: and muscular, and the judges discovered they'd received tifty doses
- 21:21Speaker 2: of hormones and steroids. Yeah, each and every camel was
- 21:26Speaker 2: immediately disqualified, or it's more accurate to say the owners were,
- 21:31Speaker 2: since it's not the poor camel's fault that they were
- 21:33Speaker 2: brushed under a scalpel.
- 21:35Speaker 4: That's good. Yeah that man lovely.
- 21:40Speaker 6: That's fucking crazy, man. And yeah, those camels are fucking pretty.
- 21:47Speaker 6: They like dock them up really nice. They really do, though,
- 21:49Speaker 6: like when they when they like the real pageants, not
- 21:51Speaker 6: the fake shit like.
- 21:51Speaker 4: That, right, but like it's cool.
- 21:54Speaker 6: Hell, we do it to ourselves, right, but like, don't
- 21:59Speaker 6: put makeup on a camel. That's not right, make it
- 22:03Speaker 6: do a fucking talent show and shows wrong with y'all?
- 22:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 22:10Speaker 3: What not?
- 22:10Speaker 4: I don't participate.
- 22:11Speaker 2: Don't denigrate oman we hear it, b A y tw.
- 22:14Speaker 2: Do not denigrate Omani culture and their choice to have
- 22:17Speaker 2: camel beauty pageants. We do, however, denigrate the choice to cheat,
- 22:22Speaker 2: which feels about as low as you could possibly get.
- 22:25Speaker 2: It feels like animal abuse, like possibly possibly not as
- 22:31Speaker 2: bad as like physically punishing them, but still it's still
- 22:35Speaker 2: abuse it's still abuse, you know, even if it doesn't
- 22:39Speaker 2: hurt the camel's.
- 22:40Speaker 4: Surgery on an animal, unless it needs.
- 22:42Speaker 2: To believe Louise, it's it's not right. None of us
- 22:45Speaker 2: is right.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I don't think you like the story. We might have
- 22:47Speaker 4: a chance.
- 22:48Speaker 2: You might have a chance. You might. Let's move on
- 22:51Speaker 2: to story number three, his favorite. It could could be,
- 22:55Speaker 2: could well be. Let's be on a story number three.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Nantucket sewers are full of cocaine. Oh shit, and the
- 23:01Speaker 2: cops have no idea why I do? Oh well, well,
- 23:05Speaker 2: maybe you should call the cops in Nantucket.
- 23:07Speaker 6: No, I'm not taking it away from Ninja turtles. Man,
- 23:09Speaker 6: they can have as much cocaine as any want.
- 23:11Speaker 2: What can you say about Nantucket that hasn't been said
- 23:14Speaker 2: in a popular limerick? It is It is a big
- 23:20Speaker 2: tourist location for many reasons. It's got beautiful beaches, historical sites,
- 23:24Speaker 2: and cocaine filled sewers. Wait what what? Wait a minute?
- 23:28Speaker 6: What?
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yeah, Nantucket has a cocaine problem. The only problem is
- 23:33Speaker 2: people aren't using it. The official tests have shown that
- 23:37Speaker 2: the the the the island sewers consistently have high concentrations
- 23:42Speaker 2: of cocaine. Whoever, according to the same tests the sewer
- 23:46Speaker 2: cocaine doesn't have any signs that it ended up in
- 23:50Speaker 2: the wastewater after somebody consumed it.
- 23:52Speaker 6: So what you're telling me is people are like dumping
- 23:54Speaker 6: in a down the toilet instead of sniffing it up.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Their nose must be.
- 23:58Speaker 2: But for why the cops can't say they have not
- 24:01Speaker 2: seen a lot of cocaine during arrests or drug busts.
- 24:04Speaker 2: It's literally a mystery of where the drugs are coming
- 24:06Speaker 2: from and how they're ending up in Nantuget's wastewater.
- 24:08Speaker 4: I know why you do. Yeah, it all makes sense, man,
- 24:12Speaker 4: You figured it.
- 24:12Speaker 2: Out in the entire community of Nantucket.
- 24:15Speaker 6: I'm not saying that they aren't smart people. I'm not
- 24:18Speaker 6: saying that at all, Aaron, Okay, what I'm saying is
- 24:22Speaker 6: that I believe it's the people of the party seventy
- 24:27Speaker 6: age all dying off and all the relatives got their house,
- 24:30Speaker 6: and they're seeing all this shit when they're going through
- 24:31Speaker 6: their stuff after they pass the like do we can't
- 24:34Speaker 6: fucking tell the cops. Uncle Bill was having like two
- 24:37Speaker 6: kilos of cocaine under his toilet. Butt that bitch open.
- 24:41Speaker 6: Let's jump it, all of it over the fucking toilet dude.
- 24:43Speaker 6: Everybody around that time in Nantucket. I guarantee you was
- 24:47Speaker 6: a disco ball sniffing guy or girl or whatever. Wow,
- 24:51Speaker 6: they love that stuff there.
- 24:53Speaker 4: It's beautiful there.
- 24:55Speaker 2: So I don't know whether your theory holds water or not.
- 24:59Speaker 2: I'm leaning not, but uh, Nantucket's wastewater in the sewage
- 25:05Speaker 2: has reportedly had three times the national average of cocaine concentration.
- 25:12Speaker 4: Wait about how much?
- 25:13Speaker 6: How much cocaine is at harm water?
- 25:16Speaker 2: Typically around one thousand nanograms per liter?
- 25:19Speaker 4: Is it just natural like in water? Is it because
- 25:21Speaker 4: of us?
- 25:21Speaker 6: Oh?
- 25:21Speaker 2: No, that's people using pretty much pretty much system the water.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Pretty much, that's what it is, because it doesn't all
- 25:29Speaker 5: just stay in your system.
- 25:31Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Wow, there's a there's an explanation as to what it
- 25:35Speaker 2: gets turned into in the human body somewhere in here. Yeah.
- 25:40Speaker 2: When you snort dope, your body metabolizes cocaine into a
- 25:42Speaker 2: chemical called benzo elecchine also known as BEZ. And this
- 25:49Speaker 2: is the stuff they look for when you do a
- 25:50Speaker 2: urine drug test. Oh, if there is any in your pee,
- 25:54Speaker 2: then you've taken cocaine, simple as that.
- 25:57Speaker 4: Look.
- 26:00Speaker 2: So, as I was saying, the national average for trace
- 26:02Speaker 2: cocaine and wastewater hovers around one thousand nanograms per liter.
- 26:06Speaker 2: As there's always a fan of the white powder somewhere
- 26:09Speaker 2: in Nantucket, it and increase. It tends to sit somewhere
- 26:14Speaker 2: around fifteen hundred. However, in October and December, the cocaine
- 26:18Speaker 2: levels jumped to nearly three thousand, oh wow nanograms per leader.
- 26:24Speaker 2: But there's no users in sights. There's no sign of
- 26:28Speaker 2: anyone using cocaine in the sewers or dumping the cocaine
- 26:32Speaker 2: directly into the sewer system. The cops don't find large
- 26:37Speaker 2: amounts of cocaine when they arrest drug users or traffickers.
- 26:41Speaker 2: During a recent cop crackdown, they confiscated a lot of
- 26:44Speaker 2: the stuff, but it was just one drug out of many,
- 26:47Speaker 2: and for whatever reason, it's only cocaine that has this
- 26:49Speaker 2: bump in the sewer water.
- 26:52Speaker 5: I'm sorry, yeah, no, I'm I'll listening.
- 26:54Speaker 4: It's it is bizarre, right, yeah, But I what.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I came up with.
- 27:02Speaker 9: A poem to help people understand the situation. Uh, there
- 27:08Speaker 9: once was a a drug dealer from Nantucket whom had
- 27:12Speaker 9: cocaine by the buckets. His business is feeble because we
- 27:16Speaker 9: there is legal, so he dumped all that ship down
- 27:19Speaker 9: the drain, screaming fucket.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I suppose as possible.
- 27:29Speaker 5: The cops don't have an explanation.
- 27:30Speaker 4: There's mine, well, who knows?
- 27:35Speaker 2: Who knows? Honestly, that's all three stories. Once again, AI
- 27:39Speaker 2: has finally begun to kill the gorgeous South Green murderer
- 27:42Speaker 2: used chat cheept to plan the killings.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Uh.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Story number two Camel Beauty Patgeman rocked by cheating and
- 27:48Speaker 2: plastic surgery scandal. And story three Nantucket sewers are full
- 27:52Speaker 2: of cocaine and the cops have no idea why Which
- 27:56Speaker 2: one of these did I like? Which one did I share?
- 27:57Speaker 2: And which one did I block?
- 28:00Speaker 4: Mmmm mmmmm, I don't know.
- 28:07Speaker 2: First, I think you won the last one technically, pretty
- 28:12Speaker 2: sure last was the chill show. But the one before that.
- 28:16Speaker 6: One, yeah, I mean, go back and tell us, but
- 28:18Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure he won.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Right, all right, So stee first.
- 28:22Speaker 6: I go first, I'm going to say you're gonna block
- 28:24Speaker 6: the aika.
- 28:26Speaker 4: If you don't block them now, they're gonna get in
- 28:27Speaker 4: and never leave.
- 28:29Speaker 6: I'm going to say that you are going to share
- 28:34Speaker 6: the Camel Beauty pageant thing. So that way, there's like
- 28:37Speaker 6: more knowledge about it and stuff, because it is a
- 28:39Speaker 6: pretty cool event. But they should also shed light on
- 28:42Speaker 6: all the bad stuff so it doesn't happen again. And
- 28:45Speaker 6: you're gonna like the cocaine sewers because why not?
- 28:50Speaker 2: All right, Ogie, you can keep one of those and
- 28:54Speaker 2: swap the other two where you can go entirely your
- 28:56Speaker 2: own way.
- 28:57Speaker 9: Okay, I'm gonna keep the blocking the psycho poisoner using
- 29:04Speaker 9: what is this new age's psychopathic way of doing it.
- 29:10Speaker 9: You're going to like the sexy camels, the sexy Hollywood camels,
- 29:15Speaker 9: you know, because they always got to put plastic in
- 29:17Speaker 9: their faces to make them look better. But but you're
- 29:22Speaker 9: gonna share.
- 29:24Speaker 4: My my poem, share.
- 29:30Speaker 2: At the very least. I mean, I would love to
- 29:32Speaker 2: share your poem. However, I can report that neither of
- 29:36Speaker 2: you got it exactly right. I actually shared the AI
- 29:41Speaker 2: killer story mostly because it paints a I in a
- 29:45Speaker 2: bad light, and I'm like, we need, we need to
- 29:49Speaker 2: stop AI now because it, honestly, it's just gonna get worse.
- 29:56Speaker 3: Ye.
- 29:58Speaker 2: I blocked the Camel beauty pageant because it's just it's
- 30:04Speaker 2: just awful. It's awful all the way around. It's animal abuse.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Andy but I liked the Nantucket sewers full of cocaine,
- 30:13Speaker 2: and the cops have no idea why, just because it's silly.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Because it's silly. It's like it could have been anything.
- 30:20Speaker 2: It could have been a drug dealer's boat sinking off
- 30:22Speaker 2: the coast.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Oh my god, yeah, it could have been could literally
- 30:24Speaker 1: have just and.
- 30:26Speaker 2: It's slowly dribbling out cocaine over time. It's like, you know,
- 30:32Speaker 2: the small rip in the in the bags and whatnot,
- 30:35Speaker 2: and it's just slowly, slowly disseminating me into the water
- 30:38Speaker 2: and into the you know. But the fact that it
- 30:40Speaker 2: is rising during like heavy touristy periods.
- 30:43Speaker 5: Makes sounds like they want to sequel to cocaine, bear, cocaine, crocodile.
- 30:48Speaker 2: There's a bunch of things that could be. Who knows.
- 30:51Speaker 4: I just.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Of these three stories, it is the one that made
- 30:55Speaker 2: me laugh the most. So Oggie got none of mine right,
- 30:58Speaker 2: but Steven got my like right, which means he wins
- 31:01Speaker 2: this particular game right. And yet it's one episode point
- 31:05Speaker 2: for youngratulation Steven. Uh So that's game one. Augie is behind,
- 31:10Speaker 2: but he can come back with game two. It's gonna
- 31:12Speaker 2: be where two points and we're gonna play that right
- 31:15Speaker 2: after this.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Greetings, fellow nerds. It's Garrett, your host of the Node
- 31:27Speaker 1: act Nerd, part of Odd Pods Media, the podcast where
- 31:29Speaker 1: we explore the fast realms of geekdom, from the latest
- 31:32Speaker 1: superhero flicks, the retro video games, and everything in between.
- 31:35Speaker 4: We've got you covered.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Join me for insightful reviews, hilarious discussions, and.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Maybe even a few hated debates.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Find the note act Nerd wherever you listen to podcasts.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Let's get nerdy.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Hey man, welcome back. It's time for game two. Game
- 31:59Speaker 2: two is gonna just correlate. I have got six keyboard keys.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Behind each keyboard key is a set of clues. All
- 32:11Speaker 2: our players have to do is tell me what those
- 32:13Speaker 2: four clues have in common. If they can guess after
- 32:16Speaker 2: the first clue, they get five points. After the second clue,
- 32:19Speaker 2: they get three points. After the third clue they get
- 32:20Speaker 2: two points. But if they need all four clues, they
- 32:23Speaker 2: get one point. These tend to be very hard. If
- 32:27Speaker 2: you've ever seen if you've ever seen an episode of
- 32:30Speaker 2: the popular show in Britain, Only Connect, it is that
- 32:34Speaker 2: kind of mental puzzle. So we're gonna see how our
- 32:37Speaker 2: players do. The keys are control, all, delete, insert, home
- 32:41Speaker 2: and end, and Augie. Since you lost the last game,
- 32:45Speaker 2: you have the choice of who goes first. Stevie can
- 32:49Speaker 2: go first, All right, letting Stevie have all three choices.
- 32:54Speaker 2: Very good, Stevie, which one of these would you like
- 32:56Speaker 2: to start with?
- 32:57Speaker 6: I need to take control of this game more than
- 33:00Speaker 6: a half. I'm gonna start with control. You start with
- 33:02Speaker 6: control and hope for good vibes.
- 33:04Speaker 2: All right, Your time will start after I finished reading
- 33:07Speaker 2: the first clue. Okay, uh your first clue for five points.
- 33:12Speaker 2: The Miller's wife next, please for three points. A mind
- 33:26Speaker 2: next for two points. Life is Stevie, Stevie, buzz is in?
- 33:33Speaker 4: Is it all beautiful?
- 33:35Speaker 6: Uh?
- 33:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll give that to you. These are TV and
- 33:37Speaker 2: film titles missing the word beautiful. So we had the
- 33:41Speaker 2: Miller's beautiful Wife, we had a beautiful mind, we had
- 33:44Speaker 2: Life is Beautiful, And if you'd gone onto the last one,
- 33:46Speaker 2: it would have been the bold end though nice.
- 33:49Speaker 6: I wasn't sure at the second one. I was like,
- 33:51Speaker 6: m well, wait for the third, just in case I
- 33:53Speaker 6: gotta get some points.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Good play, Stevie. That is two points to you. Ogie.
- 34:00Speaker 2: You may have alt delete insert home and end.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Desert home and end.
- 34:07Speaker 9: Hmmm, I will do end.
- 34:09Speaker 2: End all right, when you're ready for five points. X
- 34:15Speaker 2: Men first Class next for three points, Silver Linings Playbook
- 34:24Speaker 2: next for two points. American Hustle next for one point.
- 34:31Speaker 2: The Hunger Games.
- 34:39Speaker 5: I oh, freaking idea.
- 34:45Speaker 2: S got a little bit of time three seconds. Loggy
- 34:55Speaker 2: buzzes in before time runs out. And what do you think?
- 34:57Speaker 5: It is a battle royal?
- 35:02Speaker 2: No, not really. I don't think you can say a
- 35:03Speaker 2: bet royal applies to all four of these. Stevie, you
- 35:07Speaker 2: may steal for one point again. These clues are X
- 35:09Speaker 2: Men first Class, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and the
- 35:13Speaker 2: Hunger Games.
- 35:15Speaker 4: They all haven't come in, Jayla, Jennifer.
- 35:19Speaker 2: L That's exactly right. They are all Jennifer Lawrence movies crap.
- 35:23Speaker 4: Just because we watched the X Men thing today.
- 35:25Speaker 2: She played mystique, she was in Silver Linings Playbook, she
- 35:29Speaker 2: was an American muscle and she was in Ungry Games.
- 35:31Speaker 4: She wasn't American us.
- 35:32Speaker 2: All right, the the control passes over to Stevie. You
- 35:36Speaker 2: have all delete, insert and home left home home. It
- 35:41Speaker 2: is your first clue for five points. Coagula, Sorry, next
- 35:52Speaker 2: for three points. Kate Kine slash Batwoman next for two points,
- 36:08Speaker 2: Tim Drake slash Robin next for one point. Kitty pridething.
- 36:29Speaker 4: I'm like, I know.
- 36:31Speaker 2: You can steal one point. Coagula, Kate Kine slash Batwoman,
- 36:37Speaker 2: Tim Drake slash Robin, and Kitty Pride. What do they
- 36:40Speaker 2: all have in common?
- 36:42Speaker 4: Uh?
- 36:43Speaker 5: The villain killed them?
- 36:46Speaker 4: Wow? Is that true?
- 36:50Speaker 6: No?
- 36:50Speaker 5: I think, I don't think.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I don't know if that's true, And that's not what
- 36:54Speaker 2: I've got here. I was going for the fact that
- 36:56Speaker 2: they are all l g B t Q superheroes.
- 37:00Speaker 4: Ah, oh my god.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Coagula is trans I believe Kate Kate Kane is a lesbian,
- 37:08Speaker 2: Tim Drake is gay, and Kitty Pride is bisexual.
- 37:12Speaker 4: I forgot. Oh my god, good call, good call.
- 37:14Speaker 2: All right, no points there. There are three categories left.
- 37:18Speaker 2: We swing back to Augie to choose. You can have alt,
- 37:20Speaker 2: delete or inserts alt alt okay for five points. Your
- 37:28Speaker 2: first clue. Bart Vaumont next for three points, The mayor
- 37:35Speaker 2: of Red Bank next for two points. Thomas Wayne It's
- 37:43Speaker 2: next for one point. Batman Oggy Oggy Buzz is in.
- 38:05Speaker 5: They're all CEOs of their business.
- 38:09Speaker 2: No, I'm afraid not. Typically a CEO would not be
- 38:13Speaker 2: known by the title the Mayor of Red Bank. But
- 38:16Speaker 2: in any event, do you never know? Yeh, Stevie, what
- 38:21Speaker 2: do you think you got? You can steal one point
- 38:23Speaker 2: if you can tell me what the connection is.
- 38:27Speaker 4: They're all billionaires. I don't know.
- 38:29Speaker 2: No, I don't think that's true. So Bart Faumont was
- 38:34Speaker 2: a character on Dynasty. The Mayor of Red Bank is
- 38:37Speaker 2: from Uh Jay and Silent Bob's Groovy movie. Thomas Wayne
- 38:43Speaker 2: and Batman are obviously from multiple animated features. These characters
- 38:47Speaker 2: were all played by Kevin Conroy. Yeah, Dynasty is one
- 38:53Speaker 2: of the rare actual like live action in front of
- 38:56Speaker 2: a camera role as he did, and he did that
- 38:58Speaker 2: for many episodes. That was a very was a recurring
- 39:01Speaker 2: character from Bart Faalmont. But yeah, he played the Mayor
- 39:06Speaker 2: of Red Bank and Kevin Smith's Jane Silbob's Groovy cartoon movie.
- 39:10Speaker 2: He played Thomas Wayne on multiple occasions, and he's most
- 39:13Speaker 2: famous for playing Batman. No points for either player. We
- 39:17Speaker 2: swing back to Stevie for the final choice of the
- 39:20Speaker 2: last two. Would you like delete or insert delete? You
- 39:24Speaker 2: may have delete for five points. Your first clue. Steele Battalion.
- 39:32Speaker 4: Possibility next please for three points.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Dance Dance Revolution next for two points. Mario Paint, Oh,
- 39:51Speaker 2: you motherfucker, I don't know what that first one is.
- 39:53Speaker 2: The next for one point. Guitar Hero Steve Stevie buzzes.
- 39:58Speaker 4: In all games where you're physically moving to.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Play the game, I'm going to give you another shot
- 40:06Speaker 2: at that.
- 40:09Speaker 4: Using an other than traditional controller to play the game.
- 40:11Speaker 2: That's what I was looking for. These are video games
- 40:13Speaker 2: that all came with specialized controllers. Steel Battalion comes with
- 40:18Speaker 2: a giant control board.
- 40:20Speaker 5: Yeah from media playing as he said the second game,
- 40:26Speaker 5: I'm like, yeah.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah. If you had gotten this one, he would
- 40:31Speaker 2: have This.
- 40:32Speaker 5: Would have been the one I got five points, would
- 40:33Speaker 5: have been the one.
- 40:34Speaker 2: He said.
- 40:34Speaker 5: Steel Battalion, I'm like, oh, the most unique controller in
- 40:37Speaker 5: the entire.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Dance Dance Revolution comes with a dance pad. Mario Paint
- 40:43Speaker 2: came with a mouse and a mouse pad. Yeah, And
- 40:47Speaker 2: Guitar Hero came obviously with plastic guitars. Hell yeah, so
- 40:51Speaker 2: well done. There's another point to you, Ogie. The bad
- 40:54Speaker 2: news is to win this you gotta get it on
- 40:56Speaker 2: the first clue.
- 40:57Speaker 4: But you can I can win this.
- 41:01Speaker 2: It might it might be worth taking a swing, or
- 41:02Speaker 2: you might just try and get it right at whatever
- 41:04Speaker 2: level you can. It's up to you. You want to
- 41:06Speaker 2: play it. But you have insert left and for five
- 41:09Speaker 2: points them Crooked Vultures.
- 41:14Speaker 4: I've heard that before.
- 41:16Speaker 2: Next for three points, Queens of the Stone AGEE. Next
- 41:23Speaker 2: for two points Nirvana No, no, what I was thinking?
- 41:28Speaker 2: And next for one point Foo Fighters.
- 41:33Speaker 5: Aggie Oggy Buzzes in what is alternative rock?
- 41:39Speaker 2: I would need something more specific than that.
- 41:42Speaker 5: What is alternative rock bands where the lead singer also
- 41:48Speaker 5: plays an instrument?
- 41:53Speaker 2: I don't know that that's true, and that's not what
- 41:55Speaker 2: I've got. If someone writes and I'll give you the
- 41:58Speaker 2: one point, but it wouldn't be an to let you
- 42:00Speaker 2: win anyway. So Stevie, you can steal another point and
- 42:04Speaker 2: make this a clean sweep if you can tell me
- 42:06Speaker 2: them Crooked Vultures, Queens of the Stone Age, Nirvana, and
- 42:09Speaker 2: Foo Fighters. I'm surprised. I thought you guys would have
- 42:14Speaker 2: gotten this really.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Really, Yeah, No, I have nothing.
- 42:17Speaker 6: They wait three and a half weeks every time to
- 42:19Speaker 6: take a shower.
- 42:21Speaker 4: What I don't know.
- 42:24Speaker 2: Please direct your your angry emails at Stevie at bafoy
- 42:28Speaker 2: cwpod dot com. Guys, guys, guys, these are all Dave
- 42:33Speaker 2: grole bands. They're all bands where Dave Grohl played in
- 42:37Speaker 2: the band is actually a member of the band. I
- 42:40Speaker 2: don't remember, man, Okay, no points for that. Just correlate
- 42:47Speaker 2: has ended. Stevie has four points. Oggie has none, which
- 42:51Speaker 2: means Stevie has taken this game too. He wins another
- 42:55Speaker 2: two episode points. It is three to zero. Oh dang,
- 42:58Speaker 2: but all hope is not lost. You can still come
- 43:01Speaker 2: back and win. We're gonna play game three, and we're
- 43:03Speaker 2: gonna play that game right after this.
- 43:14Speaker 6: Hey, if you're in the Western New York area and
- 43:17Speaker 6: you are a fan of the Green Head, on over
- 43:19Speaker 6: to Peace, Love and Bud at three twenty self Transit
- 43:22Speaker 6: Road in Lockport, New York. Tell them Bfytwsana able to
- 43:27Speaker 6: hook you up, and we're.
- 43:38Speaker 2: Back with game three. The cost is correct. I've got
- 43:43Speaker 2: three items here that recently went up for auction, and
- 43:47Speaker 2: all our players have to do is bid as close
- 43:49Speaker 2: to the actual final auction price as they can without
- 43:52Speaker 2: going over in order to win that listing. The first
- 43:54Speaker 2: player to win two listings wins the game. And gets
- 43:58Speaker 2: three episode points and Stevie's case that is a clean
- 44:01Speaker 2: sweep all six. But Aggie needs this to tie. So
- 44:06Speaker 2: here we go.
- 44:07Speaker 4: We wrestle who wins our.
- 44:09Speaker 2: Final our final game. The cost is correct. We're gonna
- 44:14Speaker 2: start with our first option, and Aggie, you'll have the
- 44:16Speaker 2: choice of whether to bid first or make steviee bid first.
- 44:19Speaker 2: I would I would just say, given how you've done
- 44:21Speaker 2: in previous the cost is correct, maybe take your instincts
- 44:24Speaker 2: and go with the opposite, whatever you might think would
- 44:30Speaker 2: be a good idea, try the other thing.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Justew goes uh.
- 44:34Speaker 2: So our first item of forbids this this episode has
- 44:39Speaker 2: been all about beautiful things, so it only makes sense
- 44:42Speaker 2: that our first itema forbids is a beautiful pair of
- 44:45Speaker 2: wedding rings. These fourteen carrot white gold wedding rings each
- 44:50Speaker 2: feature five ethically sourced lap grown diamonds, and this listing
- 44:55Speaker 2: can be yours if the cost is correct. Oggie, you
- 44:58Speaker 2: start us off.
- 45:00Speaker 5: Four thousand dollars four.
- 45:02Speaker 2: Thousand, says Augie. Stevie six thousand, six thousand, says Stevie
- 45:06Speaker 2: back to Augie. Eight eight thousand dollars says Augie back
- 45:09Speaker 2: to Stevie.
- 45:10Speaker 6: Wow, fourteen Huh, we'll go to uh ten thousand.
- 45:14Speaker 2: Ten thousand, says Stevie. Augie, Wow, wow, we'll do fourteen
- 45:18Speaker 2: fourteen thousand, says Augie.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Stevie, oh piece as much for a rings, not even
- 45:24Speaker 6: a thousand of car sixteen thousand, I know, Like, what
- 45:26Speaker 6: the fuck?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Sixteen thousand, says steviey.
- 45:31Speaker 4: No, wow.
- 45:32Speaker 6: I mean it's a pair of them, right, but it's
- 45:34Speaker 6: a lot of money for a fucking ring.
- 45:37Speaker 2: Twenty three thousand, twenty three thousand. I will call for
- 45:40Speaker 2: final bids twenty four thousand, twenty four thousand. You've both overbid.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I need you both to bid one more time. This time,
- 45:56Speaker 2: keep your bid under twenty three thousand and above sixteen thousand,
- 46:00Speaker 2: and Augie, you will go first. That is such a
- 46:03Speaker 2: narrow margin, it's a huge margin. That's seven thousand dollars.
- 46:07Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. And I could go out of sixteen
- 46:10Speaker 4: to twenty three.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Yep. Sixteen was the highest bid before you both went over,
- 46:14Speaker 2: and twenty three was the lowest bid after you both
- 46:17Speaker 2: went over. Twenty thousand, twenty thousand, even right in the middle. Stevie,
- 46:21Speaker 2: you don't have to bid over him. You may bid
- 46:23Speaker 2: anywhere between sixteen thousand get the one, but you only
- 46:26Speaker 2: get one shot.
- 46:27Speaker 6: Okay, this time, I'm going to do the other thing
- 46:32Speaker 6: and stay.
- 46:34Speaker 2: At you can't stay I go a dollar more thventeen
- 46:39Speaker 2: oh one, sixteen thousand and one.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Yes, okay cool.
- 46:42Speaker 2: Actual final auction price of this item nineteen thousand and nine.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Twenty Augie is over. Stevie wins.
- 46:53Speaker 4: Eighty dollars. What's fuck.
- 46:57Speaker 5: Man?
- 46:58Speaker 2: Fuck? All right, well, Steve's taking the first one. Age
- 47:03Speaker 2: needs both of these, but you can do it. I
- 47:06Speaker 2: have faith in you. Let's go on to our second item.
- 47:11Speaker 4: I have faithith J.
- 47:16Speaker 2: You are going to take these two. You are going
- 47:18Speaker 2: to win these.
- 47:19Speaker 4: Two, them for you.
- 47:24Speaker 2: They're going to win these two. You are going to
- 47:26Speaker 2: win these two. I believe in all right. You know
- 47:31Speaker 2: you really can get anything on the internet, such as
- 47:33Speaker 2: our next item, I forbids. Brace yourselves. This beautiful taxidermied
- 47:39Speaker 2: extinct bird. This Carolina parakeet used to be everywhere in
- 47:45Speaker 2: America and the nineteen hundreds, but the last one died
- 47:49Speaker 2: in a zoo in nineteen eighteen and they were declared
- 47:51Speaker 2: extinct in nineteen thirty nine. This taxi dermy Carolina parakeet, however,
- 47:56Speaker 2: remains in excellent condition.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Really, and.
- 48:00Speaker 2: This listing can be yours if the cost is correct.
- 48:05Speaker 2: What would you pay for a taxidermy extinct animal?
- 48:09Speaker 6: I don't think it's in a good condition, Stevie, you
- 48:12Speaker 6: have to start a song fucking to me.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Yeah you can, damn it, man, because that's fucked up
- 48:19Speaker 4: extinct animal. I don't know, like sixty bucks, sixty dollars,
- 48:28Speaker 4: said Stevie. Augie, Oh, that's okay, fucking.
- 48:32Speaker 5: Hard put it in a museum, an to put it
- 48:34Speaker 5: on your fucking shelf.
- 48:35Speaker 8: Huh.
- 48:37Speaker 5: I fucking hate people so much, I really do. I
- 48:41Speaker 5: just fucking hate them all.
- 48:42Speaker 2: Fifteen thousand, fifteen thousand, Stevie, Wow, twenty thousand, twenty thousand,
- 48:47Speaker 2: Augie twenty five, twenty five thousand. I will call for final.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Bids, fucking twenty six thousand.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Twenty six thousand, Augie, stay or overbid.
- 48:57Speaker 9: I'm gonna stay.
- 48:58Speaker 2: You're gonna stay on twenty five thousand and and and
- 49:01Speaker 2: Stevie has twenty six thousand the actual final auction price
- 49:05Speaker 2: of this taxidermy extinct bird twenty five thou three fifty.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Augie has won this item.
- 49:14Speaker 6: You're right, I called it.
- 49:16Speaker 2: I called it. I called it.
- 49:18Speaker 5: I don't feel like I because now I've got the
- 49:20Speaker 5: knowledge that we've got extinct animals just gathering dust on
- 49:25Speaker 5: some jack hole's fucking desks, a rich jack hole.
- 49:30Speaker 4: Those are the people we need to purge.
- 49:33Speaker 6: I'm not saying start a purge, but if you start one, call.
- 49:35Speaker 4: Me great, irony.
- 49:38Speaker 9: We're starting at the top of a fucking oil exact
- 49:41Speaker 9: that made the mixting. Yeah, oh fucking great.
- 49:44Speaker 2: All right, uh uh, you got this, you got this,
- 49:50Speaker 2: you got that, last one, you got this one. Our
- 49:53Speaker 2: last item I forbids is this beautiful heavy solid gold
- 49:59Speaker 2: anchor necklace. This eighteen carrot yellow gold necklace is one
- 50:05Speaker 2: hundred and ninety five grams eight point five millimeters in
- 50:08Speaker 2: width and shaped like an anchor chain. And this priceless necklace.
- 50:14Speaker 2: Listing can be yours.
- 50:15Speaker 4: If the cost is priceless, priceless, priceless.
- 50:19Speaker 2: It does actually have a price. Augie, this time you've
- 50:23Speaker 2: did first twenty thousand, twenty thousand, out the gate, Steve
- 50:28Speaker 2: twenty five, twenty five thousand, do it twenty seven, twenty
- 50:35Speaker 2: seven thousand, Stevie twenty nine, twenty nine thousand. I will
- 50:40Speaker 2: call for final.
- 50:41Speaker 8: Will right, How what's the likelihood of it being higher?
- 50:52Speaker 8: I don't know if it's an anchor chain, right, like
- 50:55Speaker 8: it's necklace. It's a necklace and it's gold. I'm assuming eighteen.
- 50:58Speaker 2: Yes, but it's built like an anchorchain with the heavy links.
- 51:03Speaker 5: This is a reasoner listing. Yeah, he said twenty nine.
- 51:10Speaker 2: He said twenty nine. After you bid twenty.
- 51:12Speaker 5: Seven, twenty nine oh one, Oh god, twenty.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Nine oh one, Stevie, Yeah, bitter pass, I pass, you
- 51:26Speaker 2: passed waiting it?
- 51:28Speaker 4: Okay?
- 51:30Speaker 2: In that case, the actual final price of this item
- 51:34Speaker 2: is thirty two thousand and eight seventy one.
- 51:36Speaker 5: Aggie wins by completely getting him with the hole. Well,
- 51:41Speaker 5: this is fucking point.
- 51:42Speaker 2: Listen, when you bid just one dollar above him, I'm like,
- 51:45Speaker 2: Stevie's just gonna do the same thing to you. You
- 51:47Speaker 2: gotta put some space in there. But then Stevie didn't
- 51:50Speaker 2: quite understand what was happening.
- 51:53Speaker 4: OGGI fooled me. I made it.
- 51:55Speaker 5: I made sure it seemed as hopeless as possible.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Oh my god. Yeah, thirty seventy one for that change
- 52:05Speaker 2: gold necklace. Yeah, I mean it's probably worth it gold,
- 52:10Speaker 2: which means Aggie wins this game and gets three points.
- 52:13Speaker 2: It is three all. We have a draw. Fucking yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 2: good game both of you. So we'll have to remember
- 52:22Speaker 2: to let Aggie go first next time. Yeah, even though,
- 52:26Speaker 2: even though, even though it's a draw, you got to
- 52:28Speaker 2: go first this time. Remember Ogie gets to go first.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Next episode we do this, but that is going to
- 52:35Speaker 2: be it from us. Congratulations to both our winners. Play,
