- 1:45Speaker 4: All right, already, welcome back to the Son of a
- 1:49Speaker 4: Boy Dad podcast. Did you guys see the news last night?
- 1:54Speaker 4: We are here live from HQ three.
- 1:58Speaker 1: You guys see that news story that's going crazy, that's
- 2:01Speaker 1: only relevant today?
- 2:02Speaker 4: Apparently Nancy Guthrie is missing? Is that Woodies White? They
- 2:10Speaker 4: figure that out? And I don't think so now really
- 2:14Speaker 4: unless they figured it out over the weekend.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Wait, who tell me about that Savannah Guthrie's mother lover.
- 2:21Speaker 5: Oh I forgot. I see, I haven't known much about this,
- 2:25Speaker 5: no one.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Does, but it led the news.
- 2:27Speaker 1: For that's how you can always tell, like that things
- 2:29Speaker 1: are going okay. If something bad leads the news, they're
- 2:32Speaker 1: not bad. But like, that's not a leading news story.
- 2:35Speaker 4: No, I think that was a leading news story to
- 2:37Speaker 4: cover up the actual leading news stories. Oh yeah, Like
- 2:40Speaker 4: I went home like I was home. My parents are
- 2:42Speaker 4: like glued to the coverage of Savannah gus Yeah, and
- 2:45Speaker 4: I'm like, no one else on earth is thinking about
- 2:48Speaker 4: this right now except for them, just like they're in
- 2:51Speaker 4: their head. That's the biggest thing going on right now.
- 2:54Speaker 5: I got to sign her mom. I'm obsessed with your
- 2:58Speaker 5: crew neck.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, pretty solid.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Can you unfold your arms just so I can get
- 3:03Speaker 5: a real look at large mouth? But hold on, why
- 3:05Speaker 5: are you.
- 3:07Speaker 4: Just a little bit of a large mouth?
- 3:09Speaker 5: Can you please let me see the whole thing?
- 3:10Speaker 1: Is that glow in the dark?
- 3:11Speaker 4: It does?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to get you under some fucking black lights.
- 3:16Speaker 5: Is that made with like a lithograph? Is that like
- 3:18Speaker 5: one of those sort of print type things. Yeah, yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 5: probably roll ink.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Over it when you when you guys were kids.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Could you see the seeing eyebooks? You know those? Never
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'd never have seen one of those in my life.
- 3:29Speaker 1: Never even know what that is seeing eyebooks where you
- 3:32Speaker 1: like to see some like raw shack asstrawing and then
- 3:36Speaker 1: you're supposed to be able to see some numbers in
- 3:39Speaker 1: it or something like that.
- 3:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I've never seen a large mouth howling.
- 3:43Speaker 4: At the moon. Now most people haven't. That's why that's
- 3:45Speaker 4: so rare. That that's a good piece, good shot. It's
- 3:48Speaker 4: actually a photo. Where'd you get it?
- 3:52Speaker 1: Uh?
- 3:53Speaker 4: I don't know, vintage store. I don't worry about it.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That ain't vintage.
- 3:57Speaker 4: Not worried.
- 3:57Speaker 5: Look like vintage, brother, Yes it does, which is cool.
- 4:04Speaker 5: It looks great, and I'm really into it, and I'm
- 4:07Speaker 5: glad we're finally you know, getting a real glimpse.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It looks like some Filipino factory slop.
- 4:15Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 4:16Speaker 5: No, that's made and that's that was made in America,
- 4:18Speaker 5: American maid.
- 4:19Speaker 1: I think it's like someone's attempt to recreate something American made.
- 4:22Speaker 4: About this off the TCN store.
- 4:24Speaker 5: That looks like something that a daughter wears to remember
- 4:26Speaker 5: her dead father because it was his.
- 4:31Speaker 4: American maid that can't be.
- 4:33Speaker 1: That's gotta be. That's got to be Asian, that's got
- 4:35Speaker 1: to be shipped in a shipping container. Aren't the seeing
- 4:38Speaker 1: eye that I'm talking about when where you like look
- 4:40Speaker 1: at a it's like you look at just a bunch
- 4:43Speaker 1: of dots or something, blonde test, and then it's like, uh,
- 4:50Speaker 1: but then I saw it.
- 4:51Speaker 4: It's this ship. Yeah, that's the color blond test. It's not, dude.
- 4:55Speaker 5: Is there's supposed to be an image within that that
- 4:57Speaker 5: jumps out and some people magic eye.
- 4:59Speaker 1: That's I'm not seeing it.
- 5:00Speaker 4: I guys are all color blind. Uh have you ever
- 5:04Speaker 4: seen little Miss Sunshine? Yeah? Remember when he looks at
- 5:06Speaker 4: the picture book? It's like that.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's literally the exact same thing. He breaks his
- 5:10Speaker 5: valve silence because it can't be a fighter violent.
- 5:14Speaker 4: Yeah, scream spoilers. What an actor?
- 5:18Speaker 5: Yeah, drives me every every movie he's in his character
- 5:22Speaker 5: you want to die?
- 5:24Speaker 4: Yeah, we want that character to die. Yeah, he's a
- 5:26Speaker 4: really good actor.
- 5:27Speaker 1: That movie is so good except for Fritz in uh.
- 5:31Speaker 4: Next Door next Door. I don't think I've seen it.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Oh what a movie, Harry, you're missing out.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I watched Primal fear M. What is it? Not great.
- 5:41Speaker 4: It's just another like molesting movie. I'm over the child molesting.
- 5:46Speaker 5: You know, it doesn't seem like it you bring it
- 5:48Speaker 5: up every episode.
- 5:49Speaker 4: I don't think I bring it up ever.
- 5:50Speaker 5: I think you are constantly referring to pedophiles.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Well, the Epstein stuff. Like that's why I'm kind of
- 5:56Speaker 4: over the movies. Like the movies are good when you
- 5:59Speaker 4: know you're under this sumption that like that hasn't happened
- 6:01Speaker 4: in like seventy years.
- 6:03Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 6:03Speaker 5: It's seene ruined all of the pedoph pretty much. Yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 5: I can't watch Prisoners anymore. Well, it's like because they're
- 6:11Speaker 5: like not even like Mystic River is dead to me. Well,
- 6:14Speaker 5: they're like horror movies.
- 6:16Speaker 4: But you're like, oh, I guess this is actually just
- 6:17Speaker 4: happening like everywhere.
- 6:20Speaker 5: Yeah, except that all those movies that people stealing the
- 6:23Speaker 5: kids and stuff are like trash, yeah, not billionaire parts
- 6:28Speaker 5: of members of the cabal.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Yeah, unless you watch like Taken, Like Taken is kind
- 6:33Speaker 4: of like a human trafficking movie. It is years.
- 6:36Speaker 5: That girl was like I guess she was underage.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I think so.
- 6:41Speaker 1: But you're saying close enough, you're saying there's yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 4: You're saying that she got her like she could have
- 6:44Speaker 4: gotten herself out of that situation. That's that what's it called. Yeah,
- 6:50Speaker 4: she's old enough to cross the street to get hit. Yeah,
- 6:54Speaker 4: she can go abroad with her friends. She can go
- 6:57Speaker 4: abroad with her friends. She can stop a home invasion
- 6:59Speaker 4: from half. Yeah.
- 7:02Speaker 1: But these movies are fucked because, uh, the guys who
- 7:06Speaker 1: are making the movies.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Are also pedophile one hundred.
- 7:10Speaker 1: It's like being a pedophile and making a movie about
- 7:12Speaker 1: It's like if Freddy directed Jason.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Yeah. And then like the big twist in this one
- 7:17Speaker 4: is like the kid that got raped. It's like, turns
- 7:19Speaker 4: out he's fucking crazy. That's the big twist. They're like, yeah,
- 7:25Speaker 4: I knew we shouldn't have trusted him all along. Guys,
- 7:28Speaker 4: did you know it smearing the cardinal's good name. It's
- 7:33Speaker 4: it's present Monday. It's President Monday.
- 7:37Speaker 5: It's present Monday. President's Monday, the present Monday of this week.
- 7:42Speaker 5: This present is we've got presents. Hell yeah, so big
- 7:46Speaker 5: time presence. You know how we do it? Every week
- 7:48Speaker 5: we do Present Monday. Of course, President for every week
- 7:52Speaker 5: is Present Monday with breath. This is a pretty special
- 7:55Speaker 5: present Monday patches. Uh, this is from our dear friend
- 8:00Speaker 5: who is currently overseas. Oh wow, Fighter Pilot F eighteen pilot.
- 8:06Speaker 5: He actually wrote us a note which I'll read. How
- 8:11Speaker 5: cool is that? That's his squadron, the Red Day What they.
- 8:13Speaker 4: Have stationary all right? That makes them less tough?
- 8:16Speaker 5: The son of a boy dad. Thanks for helping me
- 8:18Speaker 5: get through deployment. Enjoy the patches and swag. Love from
- 8:21Speaker 5: Japan e af DMF. I think that means eat a
- 8:26Speaker 5: fucking dick, motherfuckers, but that's just me guessing. From Captain
- 8:31Speaker 5: Luke quote Fumble, Marcus Fumble. This is his call sign.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Captain v MFA two thirty two Red Devils FA eighteen pilots.
- 8:42Speaker 4: This is the hornet. This is just like a guy
- 8:43Speaker 4: in like fucking Delaware right now.
- 8:45Speaker 5: Well, I know it's not because Luke is a very
- 8:47Speaker 5: good friend of mine, and because of that, you're not
- 8:52Speaker 5: getting first pick of the patches, Harry. So we got
- 8:55Speaker 5: we got sick fucking patches.
- 8:56Speaker 4: These are nice, These are thick patches.
- 8:59Speaker 5: We got Koozies doesn't need a koozy because he doesn't boozy.
- 9:02Speaker 4: True, I do drink a lot of cand of beverages though,
- 9:06Speaker 4: do you okay, plenty have that with these patches are sick.
- 9:09Speaker 1: The devil made me do it. Yeah, for one hundred years.
- 9:13Speaker 4: God, how cool?
- 9:14Speaker 5: Look at these? Look at that one. I love that one.
- 9:18Speaker 5: He's super dope. We can punch right in on that.
- 9:22Speaker 5: This is the F eighteen. Oh yeah, F eighteen uh
- 9:28Speaker 5: f eighteen right there. You can see that the red devils.
- 9:31Speaker 5: The devil made me do it. It's just so cool.
- 9:34Speaker 1: You know that they've caught some bodies at war if
- 9:37Speaker 1: they have merch.
- 9:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I was withies.
- 9:40Speaker 1: You know that they were a destructive platoon.
- 9:43Speaker 5: More patches and then and then oh they got stick.
- 9:46Speaker 5: He said he's based in Japan currently.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Damn.
- 9:48Speaker 5: Yeah, Like that's not terrible. He's doing my two favorite things,
- 9:52Speaker 5: Japan and war.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, I can't imagine a better combination. Where's the
- 9:57Speaker 4: ok No, he's in.
- 10:00Speaker 5: Well, I don't even know if I'm supposed to say
- 10:02Speaker 5: where the base is.
- 10:03Speaker 4: Probably not.
- 10:04Speaker 5: Maybe I'm not supposed to, although I don't think it's
- 10:06Speaker 5: particular the public. You know, it's cool. It's cool to
- 10:11Speaker 5: always hear you're like, why do we have a base there? Oh,
- 10:14Speaker 5: because we defeated them. Yeah, and they have to just
- 10:17Speaker 5: put up with that for all time. Let me get
- 10:19Speaker 5: let me get some of those patches.
- 10:21Speaker 4: You want a sticker? These are cool. You can put
- 10:23Speaker 4: that on your laptop. Those stickers are nice. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, stickers.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Stick me.
- 10:30Speaker 1: The devil made me do it, Red devil when they
- 10:33Speaker 1: black out the d and make you say evil, the
- 10:35Speaker 1: evil made me do it.
- 10:37Speaker 5: Check this out. One hundred years. That's how long the
- 10:39Speaker 5: squadron's been around. Damn of the Marine Corps. And these
- 10:42Speaker 5: are pins. Do you want to put one of these
- 10:44Speaker 5: pins on here?
- 10:45Speaker 4: With their marines? Almost I think the marine. Oh I
- 10:48Speaker 4: don't realize that.
- 10:48Speaker 5: O rah, No, we're supporting our friends, our friends over
- 10:52Speaker 5: in the Far East.
- 10:55Speaker 4: All right, devil dog love to hear that, yeah, orrah
- 11:01Speaker 4: oh rah?
- 11:02Speaker 1: If you guys, which which branch of the service you
- 11:05Speaker 1: guys most identify with?
- 11:06Speaker 4: Which one's my favorite?
- 11:07Speaker 1: What do you identify with?
- 11:10Speaker 4: That's a good one. That's a good question.
- 11:13Speaker 5: Well, I got to get really specific because I think
- 11:17Speaker 5: that I would have probably been an Army ranger. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:23Speaker 5: if I would have had my if I could have
- 11:25Speaker 5: had my pick understandable. I think that Army rangers. I
- 11:28Speaker 5: think seals. Everyone loves seals, but everyone says that seals
- 11:31Speaker 5: have gone to Hollywood.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I can see that.
- 11:34Speaker 1: How hard is it to get into being an army ranger.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I don't know, it's pretty tough. It's pretty tough. I
- 11:40Speaker 1: would be Delta Force, and that's the hardest. I don't
- 11:43Speaker 1: think you would be Delta Force. Well, I guess that's
- 11:45Speaker 1: the one that I identify with the most.
- 11:47Speaker 4: Why, I don't know. I guess that's the first one
- 11:50Speaker 4: that I came to.
- 11:50Speaker 5: Because nobody really knows what they do in their free time.
- 11:54Speaker 5: It's extremely difficult that they're impossible to reach.
- 11:58Speaker 4: Always a meeting.
- 11:59Speaker 5: You don't really keep friendships because you know they don't
- 12:03Speaker 5: want to lose loved ones or whatever.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Five mile running under forty minutes, six plus pull ups,
- 12:08Speaker 1: and a twelve mile rock in under three hours, six
- 12:12Speaker 1: plus pull ups.
- 12:14Speaker 4: It feels like that's kind of low to be an
- 12:16Speaker 4: army ranger.
- 12:18Speaker 5: I think the test there is like, uh, you have
- 12:21Speaker 5: to be able to do six strict pull ups unbroken,
- 12:25Speaker 5: which I got deadly right.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I feel like fifteen would be like good number, Yeah,
- 12:31Speaker 4: like six six, Well, they yeah, it's six strict form
- 12:35Speaker 4: it's like, so what you gotta go all the way
- 12:37Speaker 4: down and back up.
- 12:38Speaker 5: You have to go up and you have to have
- 12:39Speaker 5: your chin over the bar and like hold it until
- 12:41Speaker 5: the beep and then you let it go and then
- 12:42Speaker 5: you go all the way down like turn your rotator
- 12:46Speaker 5: cuff or whatever the fuck it is all the way
- 12:48Speaker 5: out so that you know, yeah, full extension.
- 12:50Speaker 4: But like I don't know, like six six is not
- 12:54Speaker 4: for the Army Rangers. Yeah, like maybe for the coast Guard.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Pull ups are weird, man that you know, certain body
- 13:02Speaker 5: types they're very easy and then others they're not.
- 13:04Speaker 4: I guess if you're a seal, it's probably hard because
- 13:07Speaker 4: you're probably fucking huge. I don't know. Like my buddy,
- 13:11Speaker 4: uh who, I guess. So, Yeah, my friend, my friend
- 13:15Speaker 4: that we used to talk about he was training to
- 13:19Speaker 4: go for you joined the Delta Force. We're not allowed
- 13:22Speaker 4: to talk about him anymore, but we can loosely kind
- 13:25Speaker 4: of talk about him. He can he can do way
- 13:28Speaker 4: more than six pull ups. I think strict I can
- 13:32Speaker 4: do way more than six pull ups. Yeah, so I
- 13:34Speaker 4: think we're all under agreement that, like, you know, that
- 13:38Speaker 4: should be more. Can we write a letter back to
- 13:41Speaker 4: Luke with like just some suggestions.
- 13:45Speaker 5: That has nothing to do with him. He's not in
- 13:47Speaker 5: the Army Rangers, was he.
- 13:48Speaker 4: He's in the Air Force. No, he's in the Marines.
- 13:52Speaker 4: But he's a Marine Corps pilot, Luke, do I don't know,
- 13:57Speaker 4: you'd assume more than six?
- 13:58Speaker 5: Probably, yeah, with out of doubt. He's strong, Yeah, good shape.
- 14:03Speaker 5: But Luke, Luke's a very good friend of mine and
- 14:06Speaker 5: he uh has gotten into listening to Son of a
- 14:09Speaker 5: Boy Dad you, so he's hearing this. That's great, and
- 14:14Speaker 5: I just want you to I want to tell you, Luke,
- 14:16Speaker 5: I'm sorry for what Harry said about you.
- 14:18Speaker 4: It's anything bad about Luke.
- 14:19Speaker 5: You said, why does he not do more pull ups?
- 14:22Speaker 4: No? No, I was id him. I was. I was
- 14:25Speaker 4: going to write him back with just suggestions for the
- 14:27Speaker 4: military in general. If he could bring that up to
- 14:29Speaker 4: someone up the pipeline and say like, let's bump it
- 14:32Speaker 4: to ten, you know, let's just get it to a
- 14:35Speaker 4: healthy ten round number. Yeah. I don't think there's anything
- 14:37Speaker 4: wrong with that. Army Rangers, Sorry, I have high expectations
- 14:40Speaker 4: for our for our troops.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Do you think it has anything to do with the
- 14:44Speaker 5: allowance of women in the military, because everybody knows that women,
- 14:47Speaker 5: for women, doing pull ups is harder.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Mmm, I don't know about that. It is.
- 14:52Speaker 5: I don't know about that. That's there's something about the
- 14:55Speaker 5: form of their.
- 14:56Speaker 4: I think push ups are harder.
- 14:58Speaker 5: No, pull ups are definitely harder for women.
- 15:00Speaker 4: You've never seen a girl just be able to bang
- 15:02Speaker 4: out like thirty pull ups. No, they all weigh they
- 15:05Speaker 4: don't weigh as much.
- 15:06Speaker 5: But they don't have crazy lats. I remember in at
- 15:09Speaker 5: least when I was when we were young.
- 15:10Speaker 4: I remember doing like the Presidental Fitness Challenge, and shit,
- 15:12Speaker 4: I remember that women being able to just hammer them.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Can you scroll back up there? Tyler got it right there. Yes,
- 15:18Speaker 5: it is generally harder for women to perform pull ups
- 15:20Speaker 5: compared to men, due to biological and biomechanical differences, including
- 15:24Speaker 5: typically lower lower upper body muscle mass, lower testosterone levels,
- 15:30Speaker 5: and then the weight. The weight of their labia actually
- 15:32Speaker 5: keeps them closer to the ground.
- 15:36Speaker 4: Despite these factors. Yeah, I mean, I don't know women.
- 15:39Speaker 4: We're talking about six pull ups.
- 15:42Speaker 1: It's got to be for the women. But there's no
- 15:44Speaker 1: biological differences in my eyes between men and women.
- 15:47Speaker 4: And definitely no biochemical I don't see gender neither. I
- 15:52Speaker 4: only see pull ups.
- 15:55Speaker 1: I have seen women.
- 15:56Speaker 4: I mean, how many pull ups can you do? More
- 15:59Speaker 4: than six? How many could you do? Not six? But
- 16:04Speaker 4: I think if I started doing pull ups again, I could.
- 16:06Speaker 4: I mean I when I at my peak, I was
- 16:08Speaker 4: banging out you know fifteen?
- 16:09Speaker 5: What then I.
- 16:11Speaker 4: Exploded my arm? That was how I exploded. The tendon
- 16:15Speaker 4: in my arm was pull ups because I was just
- 16:17Speaker 4: banging out pull ups every day, all day.
- 16:20Speaker 5: A world where you have ever banged out pull ups
- 16:24Speaker 5: does not exist.
- 16:25Speaker 4: No, I was because I had a I had the
- 16:27Speaker 4: pull up bar on my door, and I was doing
- 16:28Speaker 4: like David Goggins. Oh you're doing chin ups. Brow No
- 16:34Speaker 4: wide grip pull ups. These are chin ups. Every time
- 16:37Speaker 4: you go in or out, you gotta do pull ups
- 16:39Speaker 4: as many as you can, because.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You would burst your bicep on a that's a chin
- 16:42Speaker 1: that would be a chin up.
- 16:43Speaker 4: No, No, I didn't burst my body forearm. It was
- 16:47Speaker 4: the forearm tendon tennis elbow. No, because it wasn't the lebow.
- 16:51Speaker 4: It was down here Tommy John could be definitely could
- 16:56Speaker 4: have been. But let me tell you it did not
- 16:58Speaker 4: feel good.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it was probably fucking and it is. You do
- 17:01Speaker 1: tell a story once a year.
- 17:02Speaker 4: I tell it probably once a month.
- 17:05Speaker 1: It's a great story. Well, shout out to the bro
- 17:07Speaker 1: for sending all these episodes. Does he can he listen
- 17:11Speaker 1: to a podcast while he's flying a jet?
- 17:14Speaker 5: I doubt it, really, I got a doubt.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Definite.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Definitely, they'd have no idea. He's definitely slipping in a
- 17:20Speaker 1: fucking single butt.
- 17:22Speaker 4: He's got comms, he's on comms. True, but think he's true.
- 17:25Speaker 4: But they don't think they are listening to Son of
- 17:26Speaker 4: a Boy Dad on the other side too.
- 17:28Speaker 1: They'll just pass it through.
- 17:29Speaker 4: No, I don't think so. I think they probably just
- 17:32Speaker 4: play it out loud at the bases like it's like
- 17:35Speaker 4: everyone it's like the Muslim call to prayers overall episode
- 17:43Speaker 4: of Son of a Boy Dad.
- 17:44Speaker 1: Hello.
- 17:48Speaker 4: That would be good if we got picked up into
- 17:50Speaker 4: like like we were the just everyone was listening.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I bet that there's been some somebody's probably been on
- 17:57Speaker 1: their way into battle just fucking giggling. Probably there's probably
- 18:01Speaker 1: been someone just in a tank.
- 18:03Speaker 4: You can probably listen to a lot of podcasts if
- 18:05Speaker 4: you're deployed, for sure.
- 18:07Speaker 5: It would be cool if we sort of became like
- 18:10Speaker 5: the face, just like a group of guys out there
- 18:14Speaker 5: and they've got like they've got like camo on their face,
- 18:16Speaker 5: and they're they're they're camping for the night on on
- 18:21Speaker 5: the roote road to hospital, you know, all that military stuff.
- 18:28Speaker 4: Because I just get too excited. It's I love that stuff.
- 18:32Speaker 1: And then they're they're out in candy.
- 18:34Speaker 4: Yeah, they got a tiny little fucking speaker, a little
- 18:37Speaker 4: blue tooth, but they're keeping it low because there's bad
- 18:40Speaker 4: guys around and they're listening to us, right instead of laughing,
- 18:45Speaker 4: they have to do jazz so they don't give away
- 18:48Speaker 4: their position. I love that. Yeah, I think we could,
- 18:52Speaker 4: because then we could get like, you know, we could
- 18:54Speaker 4: probably get set up some sort of live show.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Oh USO ship, Oh let's do a USO tour in Japan.
- 18:59Speaker 5: I once asked if I could do that. I got
- 19:01Speaker 5: in touch and tried to put I've said this before,
- 19:03Speaker 5: but I tried to do that, and they were like, no, really,
- 19:06Speaker 5: there's no. I wasn't big enough at that point. I
- 19:10Speaker 5: think I could probably sort it out.
- 19:12Speaker 4: Now.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I think that would What if we say that we're
- 19:15Speaker 1: the official podcast of the troops. Can we just start
- 19:18Speaker 1: saying that the way that like people are like Coca Cola.
- 19:21Speaker 4: I mean, I'm sure there's like a military podcast out
- 19:23Speaker 4: there that probably already has official comedy podcast on the
- 19:26Speaker 4: I think Matt.
- 19:27Speaker 5: And Shane's is pretty big with the troops. Yeah, yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 5: they're huge with the troops.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Those dudes want everything crazy.
- 19:37Speaker 5: We could get like, we could get like our you know, reservists.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:43Speaker 5: If Matten Shan's has all the active duty guys, like
- 19:45Speaker 5: we have the guys that are like live near a
- 19:48Speaker 5: fucking yeah place that has a bunch of old hummers.
- 19:52Speaker 1: The guys who like do this, who salt the road storms, Yeah,
- 19:56Speaker 1: like that.
- 19:56Speaker 4: They're stationed in d C. I think Trump calls them
- 19:58Speaker 4: in when people started looting. Yeah, exactly. The National Guard. Yeah,
- 20:02Speaker 4: we'll be the we'll be the official podcast podcast of
- 20:05Speaker 4: the National Guard. We got all the guards.
- 20:09Speaker 5: We've got the Coast Guard, we got the National Guard,
- 20:12Speaker 5: mall cops, mall cops, everybody.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I kind of want someone overseas, honestly. I want someone
- 20:18Speaker 1: that's stationed somewhere definitely, maybe for the like, is anyone
- 20:22Speaker 1: stationed in what countries? Are people stationed in the Middle East?
- 20:25Speaker 4: No?
- 20:25Speaker 1: One stationed in Iran?
- 20:26Speaker 4: Right, not yet?
- 20:27Speaker 1: I don't know, Well, if we become, if we put
- 20:29Speaker 1: our flag in it now, if we're the official podcast
- 20:31Speaker 1: of Iran.
- 20:33Speaker 4: That feels like that could be a little controversial.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Okay, there's an odd ring to it, sort of comes
- 20:39Speaker 5: off the tongue, a little clunky, little treason us in
- 20:43Speaker 5: a way, the.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Official podcast of Iran.
- 20:47Speaker 5: You're the official podcast of the People's Islamic Republic of Iran.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I don't hate it.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Do they have Are they doing comedy over there right now?
- 20:58Speaker 4: Actively? I would assume no, not taking a break.
- 21:01Speaker 1: From But what about that scene in the Bob Dylan
- 21:03Speaker 1: movie where New York thinks that they're about to get
- 21:05Speaker 1: bombed and he goes down to like the basement.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Bar and the guitar.
- 21:09Speaker 5: That's my favorite scene in the whole movie. And then
- 21:11Speaker 5: he makes out with her as he like he walks
- 21:12Speaker 5: up the stairs and they just you.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Don't think that that's happening in your own right now?
- 21:17Speaker 1: Some some funny ass girls on stage telling some jokes.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Probably not I had to get I don't think people
- 21:24Speaker 4: were like, it's a big country. I mean, I guess
- 21:28Speaker 4: they were people they'd already dropped nukes at that point.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Or like an improv show or something.
- 21:33Speaker 4: I need to work a skin condition and they place
- 21:39Speaker 4: you would go on the vacation podiosis. Oh fuck, yeah,
- 21:46Speaker 4: I don't know what the improv scene in Iran. It's
- 21:48Speaker 4: like right now. I can't imagine they have much of
- 21:50Speaker 4: an improv scene.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Okay, so I did it in a different country. I'll
- 21:54Speaker 1: take Japan. Are they listening to podcasts? Our podcast? Just
- 21:57Speaker 1: big in America?
- 21:58Speaker 4: Them really show them? Only big in like Canada and Australia.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Like, are there they're Chinese speaking podcasts?
- 22:05Speaker 4: Gotta be right, I don't know. I'd imagine there's like
- 22:09Speaker 4: a couple. How was your meeting with Dave Francis.
- 22:13Speaker 5: H pres good? I would say, yeah, it was pretty funny.
- 22:17Speaker 5: It was pretty funny. We laughed a lot.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Was he laughing?
- 22:20Speaker 5: He was, he was on the he was making people
- 22:23Speaker 5: laugh and then had a smile.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Goofy, I love what he feels.
- 22:29Speaker 5: It's a great time to ask him for a race.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Yeah, that was perfect, just in the middle of the meeting.
- 22:34Speaker 1: So funny, or the or just to rectify the first
- 22:45Speaker 1: class situation.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Uh, yeah, you know what. I've I've had a lot
- 22:50Speaker 5: of thoughts about this, about the first class situation.
- 22:53Speaker 4: Yes, I thought you got approved. I thought you were
- 22:56Speaker 4: flying to Ireland in first class or business that has
- 22:59Speaker 4: not been approved it. I thought that was approved.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Stop trying to absolve yourself.
- 23:03Speaker 4: I thought they you texted us yesterday and said that this.
- 23:06Speaker 4: Did you know that he has to ask for approval?
- 23:07Speaker 4: I tried.
- 23:08Speaker 5: I got approval and then from the from the producer
- 23:12Speaker 5: of for Play, and then I was specifically told by
- 23:14Speaker 5: the travel coordinator that that's not good enough approval.
- 23:18Speaker 4: So who does have to be approved by I thought
- 23:20Speaker 4: for Play paid for all their own stuff.
- 23:21Speaker 5: It has to be approved specifically by rigs. There's like
- 23:24Speaker 5: a there's like an order chart when it comes to
- 23:29Speaker 5: Francis's travel. I am so toxic to the company. The
- 23:35Speaker 5: how I travel is such a hot button issue that
- 23:40Speaker 5: there is a like flow chart of who needs to
- 23:43Speaker 5: get give permissions in order to unlock my premium travel.
- 23:49Speaker 5: And the travel corners specifically said, ever since SaaS dismantled
- 23:54Speaker 5: this for you?
- 23:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like whispered down the lane.
- 23:57Speaker 1: Everybody kind of gets to weigh in on it, like
- 24:00Speaker 1: for solely equipment room Joe. They all get to have
- 24:02Speaker 1: a say whether you get first class.
- 24:05Speaker 4: Think it's like a company wide vote and then everyone
- 24:10Speaker 4: gets together downstairs. Do you know what type of a
- 24:12Speaker 4: person I am?
- 24:13Speaker 5: Even though even though every time this comes up it
- 24:17Speaker 5: drives me fucking crazy too because it is a repeated
- 24:22Speaker 5: and never ending.
- 24:25Speaker 4: I trust me, I'm not happy either, kicking the dick
- 24:28Speaker 4: every time rand of us got what we wanted out
- 24:30Speaker 4: of this. You did a flying coach. You did, No,
- 24:34Speaker 4: I didn't. You brought me down. That's not what I wanted.
- 24:37Speaker 4: You brought me back. All I wanted was to fly
- 24:39Speaker 4: first class. It's not been fair shown that that's clearly.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Never be happy if it's.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Not fair, as I remember you saying it's not fair
- 24:46Speaker 5: that these guys are there, and I never said though
- 24:49Speaker 5: I seem to recall that. Well, either way, you got
- 24:51Speaker 5: me moved back, and uh what I'm sick. This is
- 24:55Speaker 5: the type of person I am is that when I
- 24:57Speaker 5: go for my new contract, if this were to come up,
- 25:01Speaker 5: if I were to like be like Dave I want,
- 25:05Speaker 5: I will forfeit whatever X amount of my salary as
- 25:09Speaker 5: long as it is assured that I will fly first class.
- 25:13Speaker 5: But I'm going to ask for that for both me
- 25:15Speaker 5: and for Harriet. Oh really, and I definitely would do that.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Do I have to forfeit some of my salary too?
- 25:19Speaker 4: Or all subsidize it? I mean, that's great. I wouldn't move.
- 25:24Speaker 5: Myself up to first class unless you were coming with me.
- 25:26Speaker 5: That's the type of person I am.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Well, I can shake on that, like I could go
- 25:31Speaker 4: that same round. I think you wouldn't.
- 25:33Speaker 5: Move up to first class unless I stayed back.
- 25:35Speaker 4: And no, no, no, I want all the boys to
- 25:38Speaker 4: be up in first class. You don't what's good at
- 25:41Speaker 4: first class if my brothers can't eat?
- 25:45Speaker 1: Well, you told friends you would pay first first class
- 25:47Speaker 1: for the year.
- 25:48Speaker 4: Yeah, but we said nationally. We didn't say yeah, and
- 25:51Speaker 4: have you even done that? We didn't say have you
- 25:53Speaker 4: done one of those we had?
- 25:54Speaker 5: We had a flight to Orlando. You didn't do it.
- 25:56Speaker 5: You bought yourself an upgrade? Yeah, and I sat next
- 26:00Speaker 5: to the bathroom. Money's tight right now.
- 26:01Speaker 4: So unfortunately we have one for fish week in this
- 26:04Speaker 4: coming week. You're getting him out of the tax situation.
- 26:07Speaker 1: You're getting him an upgrade for fish week, right.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Oh no, I'm flying fucking thirty nine f But.
- 26:12Speaker 1: You're getting Francis an upgrade.
- 26:13Speaker 4: Oh yeah, Francis all upgrade yeah, that'll happen. That's like,
- 26:17Speaker 4: we'll see you on Saturday at his kid's birthday. That's
- 26:19Speaker 4: a morning flight or a night flight. Morning morning. This
- 26:22Speaker 4: is what you know. Oh, let me ask a question
- 26:24Speaker 4: that'll throw us off the because you know, night flight.
- 26:27Speaker 4: I'm like, I don't really care as much. Really, morning flight.
- 26:31Speaker 4: I want to be upfront. Yeah, we got a morning flight.
- 26:36Speaker 1: They have a fertada.
- 26:38Speaker 4: It's just one of.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Those things where the menu you try to convince yourself
- 26:42Speaker 5: you've made your piece, and you do. You make your
- 26:43Speaker 5: piece with it, of course, and then it comes up again.
- 26:46Speaker 5: The wound reminded constantly, and I don't know how to
- 26:49Speaker 5: cope with it. We got to come up with some
- 26:51Speaker 5: sort of solution.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Yeah, we did.
- 26:54Speaker 1: We came up with it, and you didn't do it.
- 26:56Speaker 4: What was the solution?
- 26:57Speaker 1: You pay for his first class seats domestically that.
- 27:01Speaker 4: I already told him that. He just has to send
- 27:03Speaker 4: me the first like the upgrades, and I'll do it.
- 27:05Speaker 4: I couldn't do that to you. Why, Well, let's try
- 27:07Speaker 4: it out in Orlando or Fort Myers for for Orlando.
- 27:11Speaker 4: Oh yeah, four Myers, my bad.
- 27:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Well, let's talk about fish week really quick.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Well, let's try it out. Yeah, we're in talk about it.
- 27:19Speaker 4: We're in the middle of fish week right now. Yeah,
- 27:21Speaker 4: if you're hearing this, we are in fish week. We're
- 27:23Speaker 4: in fish week.
- 27:24Speaker 5: I caught a one hundred and ten pound tarpet.
- 27:26Speaker 4: Today and it weirdly had a sail.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Harry caught a dead body floating in the fucking golf Yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 5: thought it was a trophy fish.
- 27:36Speaker 4: I saw a video yesterday of a dude reiling in
- 27:38Speaker 4: a like crazy fight and then they get it up
- 27:41Speaker 4: and it's a tire. I said. They fought it for
- 27:46Speaker 4: forty five minutes. He was the guy was like you said,
- 27:50Speaker 4: it was shaking like a fish.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Caught a rock, and I was fucking yeah, jubilant.
- 27:59Speaker 4: I mean every thing when you could, when you hook
- 28:01Speaker 4: onto anything in the water, it feels like it feels
- 28:03Speaker 4: like a fish, uh huh, because it's flowing with the current.
- 28:08Speaker 4: We got me and my dad caught a fucking lobster
- 28:11Speaker 4: trap once with a with the anchor of a boat.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Oh shit, Yeah, there's a big problem. Yeah. Yeah.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I would almost prefer to not be catching fish, though.
- 28:21Speaker 1: There was something about just not catching a damn fish
- 28:24Speaker 1: on that last fish week that was like that was nice.
- 28:27Speaker 4: I couldn't disagree more.
- 28:29Speaker 1: It was kind of nice. It was just like us
- 28:31Speaker 1: against the world.
- 28:32Speaker 4: We literally went fishing for like an hour.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and you didn't show us a thing, and I
- 28:36Speaker 1: thought that that was funny and charming.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Well, because we had to get into the action. You know,
- 28:41Speaker 4: this time will be it'll be all action.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Yeah, because someone else will teach us.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly. It's not even gonna be like them teaching us.
- 28:47Speaker 4: It's gonna be like they're gonna do everything for you.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Are we gonna go off the doc too?
- 28:51Speaker 4: I'm working on that.
- 28:52Speaker 1: But yeah, well we have to have a guy teach
- 28:53Speaker 1: us for that, or can we We'll have to get
- 28:56Speaker 1: our license. Do you think it's worth just us trying
- 28:58Speaker 1: to do one on our own and failing? No, not
- 29:01Speaker 1: at all. That's that ship is sale to fish.
- 29:04Speaker 5: I'm hungry, I want The ocean is calling and I
- 29:07Speaker 5: must go.
- 29:07Speaker 4: I mean, I'm the kind of guy I'm casting and
- 29:09Speaker 4: anything I see, so like, you know, you guys can
- 29:12Speaker 4: fish with the guide of course, but I'll probably.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Oh see, I don't even have to see it to
- 29:16Speaker 1: cast late.
- 29:16Speaker 4: Late at night, I'll probably mosey down to the water if.
- 29:19Speaker 1: We got that one house with the fuck it that
- 29:21Speaker 1: that's right on the beach. Well, I know that would
- 29:24Speaker 1: have been cool, but it.
- 29:24Speaker 4: Was thirty minutes from where we need to be. Uh.
- 29:28Speaker 5: There is night fishing, of course, it's big time. You
- 29:31Speaker 5: can catch shark at night.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not interested.
- 29:34Speaker 5: I don't either really want to do that.
- 29:36Speaker 4: I'm not really interested in the kind of fish that
- 29:37Speaker 4: you have to like put your body on the line
- 29:40Speaker 4: to bring it in, Like lifting up my arm and
- 29:43Speaker 4: reeling is enough. Well, the tarpin are one hundred pounds. Yeah, yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 4: I mean i'd imagine they're pretty similar to the kobia.
- 29:50Speaker 4: I think they're way bigger than that. Dude.
- 29:52Speaker 5: Yeah, those cobes were, you know, forty pounds at most.
- 29:58Speaker 4: What about that big one that we we cat that
- 29:59Speaker 4: that huge one that had to have been more than
- 30:01Speaker 4: forty pounds, I don't know. I think that's probably closer

- 32:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a case of her. Yeah. I mean, if
- 32:34Speaker 4: you look into one hundred to and one hundred pound fish,
- 32:37Speaker 4: it's got to be that's gotta be a fucking battle. Yeah,
- 32:40Speaker 4: that's gonna be a battle bringing in a mermaid like
- 32:42Speaker 4: I I'll be honest, I don't know if I can
- 32:43Speaker 4: do that now. I don't know if I've got that
- 32:45Speaker 4: in me. Not not without your pullups. It's strength that
- 32:49Speaker 4: you've been like letting.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Go, but it's it's it's better and stronger rods, right, yeah, yeah,
- 32:57Speaker 1: so it's built for that.
- 32:59Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, they're for that. But you still feel the
- 33:03Speaker 4: just engage with just his hands. Why would he do that?
- 33:09Speaker 4: Is that a goliath grouper? That's that's a red snapper right.
- 33:13Speaker 5: There, gorgeous fish and you get to keep those and
- 33:17Speaker 5: eat them, and god do they make for good eating?
- 33:19Speaker 4: Really?
- 33:19Speaker 5: Oh you ever had red snapper? I don't think so.
- 33:22Speaker 4: No snapper savech No.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Red sappers or coconut crusted. I mean, that's one of
- 33:27Speaker 1: my favorite dishes.
- 33:28Speaker 4: So why don't we tell them that we're looking to
- 33:30Speaker 4: just dial in on the snapper? He doesn't.
- 33:32Speaker 1: It doesn't work like that, bro.
- 33:33Speaker 5: We're going we're going we're hunting tarpin on the first
- 33:37Speaker 5: we're going for snapper and grouper the second day.
- 33:39Speaker 4: You got it. Grouper, I mean, grouper would be like
- 33:44Speaker 4: my arm. I've said it, I said it yesterday, But
- 33:45Speaker 4: I think my arms would just they'd just go with
- 33:47Speaker 4: the rod. That's a catfish. I think it's definitely a catfish.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Oh man, But do you ever when you're when you're
- 33:55Speaker 1: like reeling in a red snapper, do you ever think
- 33:58Speaker 1: about the like nice memories that it had as a child.
- 34:03Speaker 5: No, because fish don't have long memories, right.
- 34:07Speaker 4: They have memory. That's how they know not to eat.
- 34:10Speaker 4: That's how they know not to like eat gold fishes
- 34:13Speaker 4: and have short memories.
- 34:15Speaker 1: That's why they are fine to eat in like by
- 34:17Speaker 1: the dozen at a frat party.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Gold live Yeah, yeah, never had one, not really my
- 34:24Speaker 4: cup of tea.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Back up at Delta Sig up at State they used
- 34:27Speaker 1: to have a party where they would just be live
- 34:28Speaker 1: goldfish and it'd be like, holy shit, Freedberg, just ate
- 34:32Speaker 1: twenty live gold that's nasty.
- 34:34Speaker 5: By the way, I've noticed around I've been getting I've
- 34:37Speaker 5: been getting a lot of feedback, unsolicited feedback for things
- 34:40Speaker 5: that I say on the podcast. And I just said,
- 34:43Speaker 5: I don't think fish have great memories. I was thinking
- 34:45Speaker 5: of goldfish, right, that's the saying three seconds, Oh, look,
- 34:49Speaker 5: they do have that's a myth, because I meant you
- 34:53Speaker 5: heard the saying, like, yeah, memory of a Goldfish.
- 34:55Speaker 4: Yeah. Memory. Inevitably, somebody is going to message me and
- 35:00Speaker 4: a I can't believe you thought fish didn't have memories
- 35:05Speaker 4: and you went to Harvard. I don't think. I mean,
- 35:07Speaker 4: I don't think they have like a particularly good memory.
- 35:11Speaker 1: You're thinking of Dory from because she forgets stuff, but
- 35:15Speaker 1: pretty frequently.
- 35:16Speaker 5: What I was going to say is that we didn't
- 35:18Speaker 5: take fish at Harvard, just as I didn't take flags.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Everyone got on me for not recognizing the Norwegian flag.
- 35:28Speaker 5: We didn't take flags at Harvard. Now there wasn't flags.
- 35:31Speaker 4: No, I mean, I'm sure there is a class, but
- 35:33Speaker 4: it just wasn't on. It wasn't one that you took. No,
- 35:35Speaker 4: that was a far afield. Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 5: And also it's like where would I have learned that? Well,
- 35:40Speaker 5: playing FIFA that's where you learn.
- 35:43Speaker 4: That's when you flag of Norway. I didn't play a
- 35:45Speaker 4: lot of FIFA. They were trash.
- 35:47Speaker 1: They weren't a good team in FIFA. They're like three stars.
- 35:50Speaker 4: Yeah, FIFA people people will Someone was like, yeah, this sucks.
- 35:57Speaker 4: What the fuck are you talking about? I played FIFA
- 35:59Speaker 4: the I played when we were in Birmingham. She was
- 36:01Speaker 4: ass you were probably ass at it. I am assd
- 36:04Speaker 4: at it, but it's also just slow. No, it's a
- 36:07Speaker 4: good you know, it's a good sports game. NHL You

- 36:12Speaker 4: NHL ninety nine on the computer. Really, yeah, what are
- 36:16Speaker 4: you playing with? Like the keyboard?
- 36:17Speaker 5: It was amazing, dude. The intro to that game was
- 36:21Speaker 5: fucking incredible.
- 36:22Speaker 4: That's insane.
- 36:23Speaker 5: It was like, would you stop a speeding bullet? Are
- 36:26Speaker 5: you afraid of the masks? Ran the goalie? It was
- 36:30Speaker 5: like this crazy, crazy intro. I'll bring cool, I'll bring
- 36:34Speaker 5: the PlayStation down. I loved it.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Will you bring down FIFA?
- 36:38Speaker 5: You could fight in NHL ninety nine? Could fight in
- 36:41Speaker 5: all of them, could you?
- 36:42Speaker 1: Yeah? Ninety six you could fight in ninety seven? I
- 36:44Speaker 1: remember you could fight in damn crazy.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Yeah, it was playing NHL ninety seven. Was sick who
- 36:54Speaker 4: was on the cover, then Wayne Gretzky, Bobby Orr.
- 36:56Speaker 1: It was like someone from the black It was like
- 36:58Speaker 1: someing from the Chicago Blackhawks. They had like Chris Chellios
- 37:02Speaker 1: might have.
- 37:02Speaker 4: Been, Jeremy j R.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Might have been Ronick might have been one of them.
- 37:06Speaker 4: Really absolute beauty. What were you guys playing those games on?
- 37:10Speaker 4: Just that? You said the computer has oh I also played.
- 37:15Speaker 5: I also had triple play ninety nine, the baseball game.
- 37:18Speaker 4: I never got into. That sounds fun though.

- 37:25Speaker 1: he still posts. Do you know old time Hockey? The
- 37:28Speaker 1: account he's.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Like, hey, buddy, you're just gonna go and make some
- 37:31Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, I remember that guy. Mmm, that guy's great.

- 37:51Speaker 1: Me and Francis will play FIFA.
- 37:52Speaker 4: UFC is fun.
- 37:53Speaker 5: I bet that's fun. It's very fun.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Because you get to punch and stuff.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Yeah, you get to punch it.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Just give me more fun of me and Francis are
- 37:59Speaker 1: playing against each other because we're on this.
- 38:01Speaker 4: Yeah, it'll be fun. Get to watch that ninety minute
- 38:03Speaker 4: game unfold.
- 38:07Speaker 1: It's like a five minute game.
- 38:09Speaker 4: That shit's ass. Have you seen the movie Green Street Hooligans? No?
- 38:12Speaker 4: Have you?
- 38:13Speaker 5: Yes, I'm thinking about this scenario. Let's say that we're
- 38:17Speaker 5: in you know, downtown Fort Myers. Yeah, and we're walking
- 38:24Speaker 5: and a group of bad guys comes up and corners us,
- 38:27Speaker 5: like seven or eight guys, right, yeah, yeah, of course.
- 38:30Speaker 5: And I turn to you and I say, like, all right,
- 38:35Speaker 5: put our We're going to put our backs to the
- 38:36Speaker 5: wall so that they can't surround us. You take the
- 38:40Speaker 5: right half. I'll take the left half.
- 38:41Speaker 4: It seems like we're surrounded already. Would you listen to me? No,
- 38:45Speaker 4: would you. I would try to try to de escalate
- 38:48Speaker 4: with my words.
- 38:49Speaker 5: It's too late for that. These guys too late. These
- 38:52Speaker 5: guys are already.
- 38:54Speaker 4: It's never too late to de escalate. It's the die
- 38:57Speaker 4: is cast. You're going more again. I mean, yeah, I
- 39:03Speaker 4: don't know. I don't think I would be able to
- 39:05Speaker 4: just take care of the right half.
- 39:07Speaker 5: But I'm just giving us the best chance we have.
- 39:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I think the best chance we have would be
- 39:12Speaker 4: like me, just kind of stand there and you just
- 39:13Speaker 4: try and take them all.
- 39:14Speaker 5: No. See, I need you at the very least. You
- 39:18Speaker 5: need to protect me.
- 39:19Speaker 4: I'm going to be no good when I get one
- 39:21Speaker 4: first round. Kode. The first guy that comes up to
- 39:24Speaker 4: me is just gonna kill me, so protect yourself from that, right,
- 39:27Speaker 4: I don't think I can fetal position? Yeah, right to position, Yeah,
- 39:32Speaker 4: I think that I would have to start there, Like,
- 39:34Speaker 4: I think it would have to be the best plan.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Our best plan would be like I go fetal position
- 39:37Speaker 4: and you just try to protect me.
- 39:38Speaker 5: What if I just joined it started kicking you with that,
- 39:42Speaker 5: and I'd be like, yeah, I've been meaning good thinking guys.
- 39:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and I'm just in a bad spot, not good.
- 39:49Speaker 1: That movie is the biggest joke because of Elijah Wood's character.
- 39:55Speaker 1: He sucks so bad, not even him being tough, even
- 39:58Speaker 1: at the beginning when he's like you a fucking bloody
- 40:01Speaker 1: juno and he goes over there and he's trying to
- 40:03Speaker 1: convince this British guy why baseball players are better athletes
- 40:08Speaker 1: than soccer players. And he's like, the New York Yankees
- 40:12Speaker 1: have a picture that can throw the baseball ninety miles
- 40:15Speaker 1: an hour. It's like, dude, ninety miles an hour doesn't
- 40:18Speaker 1: even make you the best picture on your high school. Dude,
- 40:21Speaker 1: and you're using that as the shining example of like
- 40:24Speaker 1: American athleticism and you're supposed to be a that like
- 40:27Speaker 1: completely takes you out of it right away?
- 40:29Speaker 4: Is that Channing Tatum?
- 40:31Speaker 1: No, it's just some British fuck.
- 40:33Speaker 4: It looks like Channing Tatum and then it looks like
- 40:35Speaker 4: fucking that kid looks like someone I don't know who.
- 40:37Speaker 1: Maybe we watched that. Maybe we watched that down in Florida.
- 40:40Speaker 1: Gonna we're gonna need to stay extra day.
- 40:42Speaker 4: Charlie so much. That's Charlie, y'all know.
- 40:46Speaker 5: Charlie Hunham is an awesome actor.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll have to watch Green Street Hooligans while we're
- 40:51Speaker 4: down there.
- 40:52Speaker 5: Okay, what about the horror movie we were talking about.
- 40:56Speaker 4: No, I think it's gonna be Green Street Hooligans. It's
- 41:00Speaker 4: gotten into you. I think that's kind of what everyone's feeling.
- 41:05Speaker 4: I don't mind getting spooked. I don't.
- 41:08Speaker 1: I don't mind that at all. But we were gonna
- 41:09Speaker 1: have to start it early.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Maybe watch it on the boat. Maybe we get starlink.
- 41:13Speaker 1: And oh yeah, throw it on the boat just to
- 41:15Speaker 1: psych us up while we're in our forty five minute reel. Well,
- 41:20Speaker 1: we're just battling. Just watch Green Screen Hooligans.
- 41:23Speaker 4: What if we're getting like a ship wreck out there?
- 41:27Speaker 4: Is there room for forsli on the boat? No, what brutal,
- 41:34Speaker 4: ruthless apparently for Soli is dying to go? Is he? Yeah?
- 41:40Speaker 4: Shut off? Yeah, apparently he wants in.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Why big fan, dude, if we brought for Soli, our
- 41:46Speaker 5: boat would sink within a one hundred yards of sure.
- 41:49Speaker 4: I mean it's gotta be a pretty big boat.
- 41:51Speaker 5: Now, you'll find some way to create a catastrophic wreck.
- 41:56Speaker 4: No, no, no, we wanted you see the dolphins. Fa
- 42:00Speaker 4: Solely Apparently he really wants in.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that we were saying that maybe he gets another
- 42:05Speaker 1: boat to fly drone off of, like he rows out
- 42:10Speaker 1: to fly drone and just kind of floats by us,
- 42:13Speaker 1: or maybe we tug him.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Does really want to come? Yes? Yeah, Well how did
- 42:17Speaker 4: he know about this? I don't know. Fish week is
- 42:19Speaker 4: making What do you mean it's it's national news?
- 42:22Speaker 1: Texted me about it? I know he texted Mac too, Right, Mac.
- 42:28Speaker 5: You're a kidd. But Solely is your boss? Oh my god, listen,
- 42:38Speaker 5: I'm a I'm a. I love me for some FASOLEI
- 42:41Speaker 5: but that that he would be in charge of anyone.
- 42:46Speaker 4: He can he can, Uh, he had to approve your travel.
- 42:49Speaker 4: I think he can take George. He was down there
- 42:54Speaker 4: in Dallas when we were down there, and he definitely
- 42:56Speaker 4: was like running the show.
- 42:58Speaker 5: Okay he was.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I was just telling these guys he made it. He
- 43:01Speaker 1: was so sad when I brought up the Diana Rassini situation. Oh,
- 43:05Speaker 1: you don't know about this because you don't have Twitter anymore.
- 43:09Speaker 4: You don't know about it. You don't know about that
- 43:11Speaker 4: happened the Rabel Mike Rabel you texted.
- 43:14Speaker 5: Our group were like, come get your boy Rabel and Russini.
- 43:19Speaker 4: It's not a good look. Why not? What's wrong with her?
- 43:22Speaker 1: She's married and she's all reports on the on the
- 43:27Speaker 1: she's like the insider who's always given like.
- 43:30Speaker 4: An affair ball. Let's not jump to conclusions here. All
- 43:34Speaker 4: we have is P and V pitchers. He might have fallen.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Let's not jump to conclusions. Yeah, it looks like you know,
- 43:41Speaker 4: I mean, look, he's coming off the loss in the
- 43:43Speaker 4: Super Bowl, Like it looks like they're just they're hanging out,
- 43:46Speaker 4: just decompressing. Apparently there was the four other people that
- 43:50Speaker 4: aren't in the photo. He was like, A, I s
- 43:54Speaker 4: is this is this a big story? It's the biggest
- 43:57Speaker 4: story possible. Can you remind me who Diana? You've seen
- 44:00Speaker 4: she's in a sideline reporter.
- 44:02Speaker 1: She's like an insider. She's like an NFL insider. She'll
- 44:05Speaker 1: like break a scoop, be like, I can't tell you
- 44:07Speaker 1: who knows this.
- 44:08Speaker 4: Huh. I was going to make that. I had feel
- 44:11Speaker 4: you were going to say that you have I knew
- 44:13Speaker 4: you wanted it. I said, I'm going to let him.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Have it inside her Yeah, classic, Yeah, she's They said
- 44:21Speaker 1: it was laughable. But and they said, there's four other
- 44:23Speaker 1: people there with them, even though they're on the roof
- 44:26Speaker 1: of a honeymoon suite that you can only get to
- 44:28Speaker 1: because there's you got to two people allowed, and they.
- 44:30Speaker 4: Got to show the view. You got to see the view.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Like it's clearly like a it's like a hupping at sensation.
- 44:36Speaker 4: It's an adult only resort. If they land out, like
- 44:39Speaker 4: if they pan out, they're like in the middle of
- 44:41Speaker 4: like the Grand Canyon. It's like that. Yeah, yeah, I
- 44:46Speaker 4: saw like I saw like the wide angle photo and.
- 44:49Speaker 1: It's like the New York Post article so fucking beautiful, funny.
- 44:54Speaker 4: It's like, I get it. I get this.
- 44:56Speaker 5: She's quite lovely. I don't have an issue with that.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not and she's gross. I'm saying she's
- 45:01Speaker 1: married and has kids, so.
- 45:02Speaker 4: I didn't know that. Yeah, that's not great, but I mean,
- 45:05Speaker 4: you know, and she's.
- 45:06Speaker 1: And she's trying to drive up the price of a
- 45:08Speaker 1: J Brown through her fuck buddy, and she's trying to
- 45:12Speaker 1: screw the Eagles over while she's screwing.
- 45:14Speaker 4: Uh, that photo is.
- 45:17Speaker 6: Bad, Like how yeah, so beautiful, so beautiful sunset.
- 45:28Speaker 4: People they're hiking on that cliff over there, four other
- 45:32Speaker 4: people seventeen miles away.
- 45:34Speaker 1: They both said they were rudolps of three yea out there,
- 45:37Speaker 1: the third person in a group of three, and that
- 45:38Speaker 1: it was laughable.
- 45:40Speaker 4: How do they not see the person taking.
- 45:42Speaker 5: The photo that that could be that could be for
- 45:45Speaker 5: solely then Yeah.
- 45:47Speaker 1: He's flying a drone in fucking Utah and they caught that.
- 45:51Speaker 4: You gotta feel like such a piece of ship taking
- 45:54Speaker 4: that when you're taking those photos just all the ways.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Well it's two weeks ago, so imagine the negotiation that
- 46:03Speaker 1: this person had with TMZ and the Daily Mail and.
- 46:06Speaker 4: They sold them. Paparazzi are ruthless, Yeah you ever. I mean,
- 46:11Speaker 4: I guess it's like, you know, they shouldn't be.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Yeah, the paparazzi are the bad people in this situation.
- 46:15Speaker 4: They're definitely the bad people, but you do got to
- 46:18Speaker 4: feel a little bit like, oh, I'm ruining someone's life. Well,
- 46:21Speaker 4: I guess like you're not ruining there, like they've made
- 46:23Speaker 4: their own decisions. But at the same time, it's like
- 46:26Speaker 4: they're they are thinking, oh my god, this is my moment. Yeah,
- 46:30Speaker 4: this is my break.
- 46:33Speaker 1: There's definitely like this is they didn't stumble on this.
- 46:37Speaker 4: This is like Princess Diana photos.
- 46:39Speaker 1: Well, but like someone wasn't taking pictures of goats and
- 46:41Speaker 1: they turned around and slved Rabel and Rassini.
- 46:44Speaker 4: It was like someone's on a mission, Yeah.
- 46:46Speaker 5: To find someone got tipped off exact by a bell boy. Yeah,
- 46:51Speaker 5: Grand Canyon, Hilton.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, whatever the fuck they are wherever they are, Exotica,
- 46:57Speaker 1: Grand Canyon.
- 46:58Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know. I'm I'll be honest, I'm
- 47:01Speaker 4: a little worried.
- 47:03Speaker 1: Yeah, but this could I mean, this could spurn them.
- 47:07Speaker 5: Yeah, it's the off season.
- 47:09Speaker 4: Well, you know, like Drake May kind of had those
- 47:11Speaker 4: snapchats that were getting leaked. He did it. I'm just
- 47:15Speaker 4: starting to wonder what kind of team where we're.
- 47:17Speaker 1: What's what's the Drake May snapchat snapchats?
- 47:19Speaker 4: You didn't see that. When they were he was like
- 47:21Speaker 4: posting like the ones from college. Oh from college? Yeah, yeah,
- 47:25Speaker 4: they're old.
- 47:25Speaker 1: He's a married man now.
- 47:27Speaker 4: I think he was. I Meanhi and his girlfriend have
- 47:29Speaker 4: been together since they were like ten. Okay, so handsome.
- 47:33Speaker 1: It's a nasty world. Doesn't he look like he'd be
- 47:35Speaker 1: one of Harry's friends.
- 47:38Speaker 4: Harry doesn't have friends anymore. I have tons of friends
- 47:41Speaker 4: and talk about them making that face like that. You know,
- 47:46Speaker 4: you know, my friend who moved went fishing with one
- 47:50Speaker 4: of our fans.
- 47:51Speaker 5: I love that you cannot say this person's name, but
- 47:55Speaker 5: we all know who you're talking about it. It's like
- 47:58Speaker 5: some weird fucking like I'm kind of just doing it.
- 48:01Speaker 4: I'm kind of just doing it to funk with him now.
- 48:04Speaker 4: But yeah, he went fishing with one of our fans.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Isn't that crazy? Like just the two of them on
- 48:12Speaker 4: a boat? Nuts? He messaged me recently. Oh yeah yeah
- 48:19Speaker 4: he did.
- 48:19Speaker 1: What did he say?
- 48:20Speaker 4: I'll tell you out of nowhere. He goes, uh, happy
- 48:28Speaker 4: Easter weekend? Brother? Who is?
- 48:31Speaker 5: And then he named a woman and I go in, haha,
- 48:35Speaker 5: what do I know her? And she he goes, she
- 48:38Speaker 5: followed me on Insta and you follow her too. I
- 48:41Speaker 5: figured you knew her, and I gave up my social
- 48:46Speaker 5: media so I couldn't check.
- 48:48Speaker 4: Oh, and and I was like, uh, send me a
- 48:51Speaker 4: screenshot of what's that? What the fuck is he texting
- 48:55Speaker 4: you about this for? Because he had a batty slide.
- 49:02Speaker 4: He's like thirteen followers on.
- 49:07Speaker 5: This gut's even better. So I was like, I can't
- 49:11Speaker 5: really check, but send me a screenshot of her. She
- 49:14Speaker 5: must be cute, and he goes, ha ha, she's all right.
- 49:22Speaker 5: I unfollowed her so I can't see her profile now.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Followed, but he is, so I go cold, cold, cold
- 49:33Speaker 4: as ice. This was this weekend, Yeah.
- 49:37Speaker 5: On Sunday on Eastern Do you think he's gonna make
- 49:40Speaker 5: get mad at me for telling this story about him?
- 49:42Speaker 4: I don't know. I mean that's his problem at that point.
- 49:45Speaker 4: He shouldn't be texting every host of the podcast. Does
- 49:48Speaker 4: this want us to talk about it?
- 49:49Speaker 5: Does it piss you off that he's texting me?
- 49:50Speaker 4: No? No, I don't care.
- 49:52Speaker 5: I don't think I think you care. I thought that
- 49:55Speaker 5: was the funniest thing that he would.
- 49:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 49:58Speaker 5: First of all, he followed her, and I was like,
- 50:02Speaker 5: I don't like that, and then was like, he's.
- 50:05Speaker 4: Still talking about it.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he's still she's still on his mind.
- 50:09Speaker 5: I needed I need a triple check that I haven't
- 50:12Speaker 5: let a good one go here.
- 50:14Speaker 4: I have no idea who the woman is, you know.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Uh, don't tell him that though it.
- 50:18Speaker 5: Could be it could be someone I'm related to, or
- 50:22Speaker 5: someone that I thought was attractive. But if BO doesn't
- 50:25Speaker 5: think she's attractive, I'm sure I don't.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Yeah he said his name.
- 50:29Speaker 4: Yeah, we'll have to bleep that out. Damn it.
- 50:33Speaker 1: Well, now we all know who's I don't really know.
- 50:35Speaker 4: I mean, like I he said he's coming to Uh,
- 50:37Speaker 4: he's gonna come to Atlanta for the Bush thing, that
- 50:40Speaker 4: the next bush event. So I was like, it seems like,
- 50:43Speaker 4: you know, you're trying to get back in. He want
- 50:45Speaker 4: it out now, he wants back in because he probably
- 50:47Speaker 4: saw the perks of Yeah, he went out on the boat,
- 50:50Speaker 4: went fishing. Yeah, he's using you for fishing. Now he's
- 50:53Speaker 4: using me for women. Yeah, for gosh. Yeah, it's not good.
- 50:57Speaker 4: He's trying to get he's trying to get I'm gonna
- 50:59Speaker 4: have to have a conversation with him. He's trying to
- 51:01Speaker 4: get axe wounds through me. I'm going to say, control yourself.
- 51:06Speaker 5: What do you think he's going to use Rome for?
- 51:09Speaker 1: I don't know, well once he knocks up gash lady.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Yeah, fatherhood advice.
- 51:14Speaker 5: Hey man, I need I need help getting my kids
- 51:16Speaker 5: into the best kindergarten. You know you knows here and
- 51:20Speaker 5: fucking Birmingham, Birmingham, Boomingham.
- 51:25Speaker 4: I think we're going to go down to Birmingham soon though.
- 51:28Speaker 4: Scope it out. It looks nice to be honest. I mean,
- 51:31Speaker 4: he's got a yard, he's got a house in a
- 51:33Speaker 4: front and a backyard.
- 51:34Speaker 5: People said we were wrong about Birmingham, Alabama.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Oh yeah, that's me and bow were actually me and Yeah,
- 51:39Speaker 4: we were talking about it the other day. You're talking
- 51:42Speaker 4: about it the other day. We were saying. He was
- 51:44Speaker 4: saying that he thinks that you would really like it,
- 51:47Speaker 4: and he said that the guy that he brought out
- 51:48Speaker 4: on the boat said that what Francis needs is a
- 51:51Speaker 4: Southern gal is apparently, so they were on the boat
- 51:54Speaker 4: talking about you. Is that why he.
- 51:57Speaker 5: Do you think he's trying to step me up with
- 51:59Speaker 5: this girl?
- 52:00Speaker 4: He could be I can't too late, I can't I
- 52:04Speaker 4: have no access to it. And they said that they
- 52:06Speaker 4: said that you don't know that. They said, that's the
- 52:08Speaker 4: one thing that you don't know that you're missing as
- 52:09Speaker 4: a Southern gal. Well, Jerry said that I need a
- 52:12Speaker 4: Latin woman. Yeah. So everyone has their pago, got their
- 52:15Speaker 4: own opinions. Yeah, Jerry will be like, you got to
- 52:18Speaker 4: get down to Columbia. Yeah, He's like, they're safe. You know,
- 52:24Speaker 4: they don't talk, but whatever, they don't talk. They certainly.
- 52:31Speaker 1: They certainly talked back, but there's just a language barrier.
- 52:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:35Speaker 1: Yeah, what you need is one of the people who
- 52:38Speaker 1: was on the show Summerhouse.
- 52:40Speaker 4: I kind of agree with Boll. I kind of agree
- 52:42Speaker 4: with them. I think that I think that you would
- 52:44Speaker 4: I think you would like the.
- 52:45Speaker 1: South America, South America, the South.
- 52:48Speaker 4: No, the South, like you would get You could, first
- 52:51Speaker 4: of all, you could buy a house that's like the
- 52:54Speaker 4: size of this office, I know, double the size of
- 52:56Speaker 4: this office for like, and it would be like not expensive.
- 53:00Speaker 4: What good is that? You know what I mean? It's
- 53:04Speaker 4: so good.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I could see Francis stepping out onto the front porch
- 53:07Speaker 1: of like it's yeah, that's plantation and a linen.
- 53:10Speaker 4: Suit, and you just you don't even see like the street.
- 53:13Speaker 4: You just see like the like your your yard.
- 53:16Speaker 5: I have always like into the distance, those sort of
- 53:18Speaker 5: mossy trees where the moss or whatever hangs down off
- 53:22Speaker 5: of them and creates that kind of yeah, uh foggy, spooky.
- 53:26Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly what I mean. Yeah, that's a dream.
- 53:29Speaker 1: They're they're heavy in Louisiana.
- 53:31Speaker 4: I mean, like I thought it was a dumb idea.
- 53:33Speaker 4: And then like we'll like I'll like FaceTime him and
- 53:36Speaker 4: he'll be like fucking chipping balls in his front yard. Yeah.
- 53:38Speaker 5: Look, that's awesome. I guess when I say, what's the
- 53:41Speaker 5: point of that, I mean, all of those places are
- 53:44Speaker 5: so far away from where my work is. Yeah, I
- 53:49Speaker 5: guess I would only have it as like a vacation home.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I think that you could help Dave
- 53:55Speaker 1: rewrite the book that you wrote from anywhere, what, Like
- 54:00Speaker 1: you could have done the book stuff from Birmingham. Yeah,
- 54:05Speaker 1: if you had a house, if you had a plantation
- 54:07Speaker 1: in Birmingham.
- 54:08Speaker 4: If we established this podcast as a remote podcast, like
- 54:12Speaker 4: if we started it as a remote podcast, like, I
- 54:16Speaker 4: would definitely not be sure.
- 54:22Speaker 5: I wonder if we could fase that in somehow just
- 54:25Speaker 5: green screen, like we each get a slice this set.
- 54:28Speaker 4: Yeah, we would have to do something like that. But yeah,
- 54:30Speaker 4: I would probably wish the guys are talking over each
- 54:33Speaker 4: other a lot more than usual. That's literally the only
- 54:37Speaker 4: problem with doing remote talking.
- 54:40Speaker 5: Over each other, because we don't right now. Yeah, well,
- 54:44Speaker 5: I feel when I say that I'm guilty of it,
- 54:47Speaker 5: but I don't necessarily mean to. I'm just not looking
- 54:50Speaker 5: necessarily at the mouth.
- 54:52Speaker 4: What you got. That's how you avoid it. I mean,
- 54:54Speaker 4: doing it on remote is impossible unless you guys all,
- 54:58Speaker 4: unless everyone's got like fiber in and like.
- 55:00Speaker 1: But because when you're doing it live, you can kind
- 55:03Speaker 1: of turn down your volume in the middle of hearing
- 55:05Speaker 1: someone else talk.
- 55:06Speaker 4: You don't realize it till later on.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Do you see how you just did that? You started
- 55:11Speaker 1: to talk and then you m.
- 55:14Speaker 4: No, I kind of just when we do this, I
- 55:15Speaker 4: kind of just go into a flow state you were.
- 55:17Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. You like naturally modulated your your voice.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I'm sure this is what people want to
- 55:23Speaker 1: hear about.
- 55:24Speaker 5: Wait a minute, this is good podcasting. Where would you
- 55:28Speaker 5: go if we did this remote? Where would you live?
- 55:31Speaker 4: See? That's the thing. Probably, like I'd probably end up
- 55:33Speaker 4: just staying around here because I don't really want to
- 55:34Speaker 4: move that far away from New England, like I like
- 55:36Speaker 4: living in New England or that area. I guess, yeah,
- 55:39Speaker 4: but well that's where I would. I would go to Maine,
- 55:41Speaker 4: but yeah, I would probably go somewhere. Probably got to
- 55:43Speaker 4: either Massachusetts or New Hampshire. Not mein New Hampshire's go
- 55:49Speaker 4: to New Hampshire. They have no uh what's called sales
- 55:52Speaker 4: tax they have? They have no income tax either. I
- 55:55Speaker 4: think they have income tax. I guess it's like it's
- 55:57Speaker 4: the same as like Florida and Texas. I don't think
- 55:59Speaker 4: you're right, literally having a conversation. If I'm wrong, I apologize,
- 56:02Speaker 4: but I know they have no sales tax. State personal income.
- 56:07Speaker 5: Does not have a state personal income tax on wages
- 56:09Speaker 5: or sally. Wow, so for you, that's a win for you.
- 56:13Speaker 4: I didn't know that either. Sorry. They didn't teach New
- 56:15Speaker 4: Hampshire state income tax at Harvard. That was not a
- 56:18Speaker 4: class that I took. I know, but I didn't know.
- 56:20Speaker 5: I'm the dumbest person.
- 56:21Speaker 4: I said when my dad said that, and I was like,
- 56:23Speaker 4: there's no way, it's the same as like Texas and Florida.
- 56:26Speaker 4: And he was like, no, it's the same. Well, New Hampshire.
- 56:28Speaker 5: That's well, you know what's crazy about that? Yeah, it's
- 56:31Speaker 5: like when there's no sales usually they have to a
- 56:33Speaker 5: state has to make it up somehow, right, So if
- 56:36Speaker 5: they're giving up on income tax or sales tax, like
- 56:39Speaker 5: that must mean that there are some other tax in
- 56:42Speaker 5: New Hampshire has got to be like the highest in
- 56:44Speaker 5: the country, probably like uh, school tax maybe, or like
- 56:48Speaker 5: they're fucking local property tax exceptionally high local property taxes.
- 56:54Speaker 4: Yeah, there you go. But if everything is cheap, like
- 56:58Speaker 4: what if I just got like a nice little just
- 57:00Speaker 4: a one bedroom.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Why not have a spread? Why not be in a
- 57:05Speaker 1: nice little hamlet and have some land.
- 57:07Speaker 4: Because the property taxes are going to be through the roof.
- 57:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but the property will still be cheap.
- 57:12Speaker 4: That like, the.
- 57:13Speaker 1: Tax will just be high. I see, the percentage will
- 57:17Speaker 1: be high.
- 57:17Speaker 4: I see. So yeah, I think New Hampshire is where
- 57:19Speaker 4: I'm gonna move.
- 57:20Speaker 1: Have you ever even been there?
- 57:22Speaker 4: So many times there's very little ocean front. Yeah it's fine.
- 57:28Speaker 5: Portsmith is really the only area that has any access
- 57:31Speaker 5: to the ocean.
- 57:31Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'm not like a big ocean guy.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Port Smith is beautiful.
- 57:34Speaker 5: Smith is nice, right now, are you gonna go to
- 57:38Speaker 5: Lake Winnipesaukee area.
- 57:39Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I love Winnipesake. Well that's a night. That
- 57:42Speaker 4: is a nice area. I know, it's fancy. They got
- 57:44Speaker 4: a lot of summer camps out there.
- 57:46Speaker 1: I was up there when I found out Michael Jackson
- 57:47Speaker 1: died in Winnipesaukee.
- 57:49Speaker 4: Really, yeah, same time my dad used to go to
- 57:51Speaker 4: camp on Lake Winnipesaukee. I saw him up there. Really.
- 57:54Speaker 4: He told me, Michael Jackson, excuse me. That whole exchange
- 58:04Speaker 4: not possible. Now, you never would have got We never
- 58:08Speaker 4: would have got that. Yeah, we wouldn't have had it.
- 58:10Speaker 4: Fiber optic cables not fast. But I also probably would
- 58:13Speaker 4: have been, like, as soon as this was over, I
- 58:14Speaker 4: would be outside, you know, stretching the legs, getting loose.
- 58:17Speaker 4: It's a real Sophie's choice, it is. Yeah. No, what
- 58:20Speaker 4: it comes down to is I just got to get
- 58:22Speaker 4: outside more. I was talking to Robbie Berger you know
- 58:26Speaker 4: your power. Yeah, yeah, it was cold cuts there. No, No,
- 58:28Speaker 4: I was just text well I don't know, texting with yeah. Yeah.
- 58:32Speaker 5: And first of all, I told him he's got to
- 58:35Speaker 5: come on the pot, Yeah definitely, And he said he'd
- 58:37Speaker 5: love to. He likes the pot great, so I think
- 58:39Speaker 5: that that would be good. I don't mean to make
- 58:41Speaker 5: executive decisions on who we should ask. No, I would
- 58:44Speaker 5: have Robbie, I would have Yeah, I think rob Robbie
- 58:48Speaker 5: Berger would be a great guess on the pot.
- 58:49Speaker 4: So do I Okay?
- 58:50Speaker 5: Well, glad to hear it because it's a very different
- 58:53Speaker 5: tune from the one you sang when you were like,
- 58:55Speaker 5: who the fuck are they?
- 58:56Speaker 4: I mean, they got some crazy names, nothing wrong with that, they're.
- 58:59Speaker 1: Huge, But he's saying that their names are funny, like
- 59:03Speaker 1: crazy big names, just like he he just thinks they're
- 59:06Speaker 1: they're clowns.
- 59:07Speaker 4: To him, No, they're not clowns. It's just when you
- 59:09Speaker 4: hear those names and you don't know who they are, like,
- 59:11Speaker 4: that's gonna be your reaction. It's like, what, whose name is?
- 59:14Speaker 4: Robbie Coldberger is a common name? Well, it's too it's
- 59:17Speaker 4: Robbie Berger. And who's the cold cuts?
- 59:19Speaker 1: Joey cold cut Joey cold cold cutz is a common
- 59:22Speaker 1: Italian name. I don't understand.
- 59:25Speaker 4: My name is Harry, Harry shrimp cocktail, shrimp cocktail.
- 59:37Speaker 1: That's like, like.
- 59:38Speaker 4: Honestly, like I don't think like I mean, I don't,
- 59:49Speaker 4: It's not that crazy to be like, who are they?
- 59:52Speaker 6: But now that I know, I'm fucking obsessed with both
- 59:55Speaker 6: of those names.
- 59:57Speaker 4: Branch design Harry cock.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Like. You understand that if that was your name, Dave
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: would pay you three times when you're getting paid.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: You understand that right to that Cocktails, Harry shrimp cocktail.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: You know that, Dave.
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: Like if you even if like you went a witness
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: protection or something, or even just had a different disguise
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: somehow got an internship, you would get hired right away
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: as Harry shrimp Cocktail. I really need a new name
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: with Frankie Lasagna.
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: Yeah, you can see Harry being a little cautious right
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: now because he's worked very hard to rebrand himself off
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: of Little Sasquad. I feel like this name is setting it.
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: I would love it.
- 1:00:41Speaker 5: Yeah, Harry, please, and gentlemen, your next comic Harry shrimp Cocktail.
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: Yeah. And then every and I would get up and
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: I would do only jokes about shrimp cocktail. You ever
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: get it when the shrimps it's a little too jumbo
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: ahead of my anyway, I'm at to tell you to
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: my set here, and that's it. And those are the
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: only ones you can make, and tried some new stuff tonight.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I mean, that would go so fucking hard.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: It would be nice. I think could be good. I
- 1:01:14Speaker 4: think it would be a good change for me.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: That's like it's like a merks on.
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: I mean I would have to get out. Probably that
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: would be like when I move maybe, like maybe I'll
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: move to Louisiana and I'll be Harry shrimp Cocktail, Poor
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: boy Harry. You know they'd be so.
- 1:01:34Speaker 5: There'd be some detective in that small town who'd like,
- 1:01:37Speaker 5: finally put the photostail.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: Scary Settle. Yeah, what's he running from? Definitely need I
- 1:01:48Speaker 4: need a better name. I think that's what's really holding
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: me back right now.
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you don't need to just fall back on
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: that one.
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: The shrimp Cocktail.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so nice, I'm buying. I mean, and Francis Lazagna
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: is really good.
- 1:02:04Speaker 4: Francis Lagna is great.
- 1:02:06Speaker 5: It's really fucking good.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: That guy gets that guy gets a lot of that
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: guy gets in a Josh Safti movie. Yeah, Francis lasagn Yeah.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: That's probably true, but that's the only movie he ever did.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Yeah, it was still though, like you know, Shallo May
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: you have shallow May's Instagram or something. Probably not phone number,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: but actually.

- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Uh.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: Well, the point I was gonna make was that I
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: was texting with Robbie Berger. Yeah, and I told he.
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: I was like, I said, uh, because he heard that
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: how we talked about him again. Yeah, And I was like,
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: you know, I had to explain to Harry who you were. Yeah,
- 1:05:34Speaker 5: And he was like, I thought it was hilarious. And
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: I was like, you have to understand that Harry is
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: like a ninety year old man who lives in Paris
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: and only leaves his like rent controlled apartment to feed
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: the pigeons from the same bench every single day. As
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: soon as that loaf of bread is done, he goes
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: right back inside.
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: Yeah, essentially not if I Well, that's because I live
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: in New York, though. You gotta keep that in mind.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: What if I was down in Louisiana.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Oh, you'd be riding a fucking four wheeler around, You'd
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: be on You'd be on a fan boat in the
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: fucking bayou.
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: Big time, stretching the legs. Hear it pull boy back
- 1:06:16Speaker 4: for Welcome back to two Days? Oh? Man, so nice.
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: You gotta get down there.
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: We should all go down to Birmingham and we should
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: do a video down there.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: I always wanted to do a video where you're like
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: supposed to be finding Birmingham, England and you wind up
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: at Birmingham out about. I don't know if which one's worse.
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: Though, Birmingham, uh one.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: You know what we could do, which I think would
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: be cool, is we could we could make the series
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: about finding Bow.
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: It would be interesting. I don't know if he would
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: like it.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: Wasn't there a movie called Where Is or Who Is?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Bow?
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: Afraid BO is afraid.
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: I don't like that. I think we're just finding BO.
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: I think we could find him. I think it would
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: be a very short series.
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: It'd be very easy to find him.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Yeah, we just kind of just pull up on him.
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: But what if we couldn't message him, and what if
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: we had to go down to Birmingham and find just
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: through word of mouth asking questions. Basically I think we
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: would be able to find him easily searching for Sugarman.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Oh you watched that? Yeah? I did, really have talked about.
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: That multiple times as often as your burst.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: Fourth and I always say every time you bring it up,
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: I say, you got to watch that, not anymore. You
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: watched it? Correct? Pretty good, great phenomenal. Yes. Isn't it
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: so funny that he was just fucking like painting houses
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: in Detroit and.
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: That once he went back and did the tours that
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: sold out tours in South Africa, he came back to Detroit.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: This I don't want to do that ever again.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: Yeah, probably gave him so much anxiety that he had
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: never had. He was probably just all day so like
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: as he's strokes.
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: And they were like, yo, it turns out that you're
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: the most famous person ever in South America for South Africa.
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: I think we go find Bow. It's not a bad idea,
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: and we find out what he really wants.
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: I think, but we can't let him hear this part
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: of it or actually, well, you don't know his address, right, No.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: I think we go to the city center of Birmingham.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: We could probably find him within a day easily.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: I think we can find him in less than that.
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: I don't think so how long has he been there?
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: I don't know, month, two months? Yeah, not that many people.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: Know Bo Birmingham is, Like, you know, BO is.
- 1:08:42Speaker 4: The name of the show that's good, do you know show?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I think that the city center, like, I think you
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: could map the parts of the city where he would
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: walk in a pretty narrow like I think that Birmingham is.
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: I just think that he's I think he's talking to everybody,
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: so I think he would certainly seems like. I don't
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: think it would be hard to find him. I think
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: if we went to the city center, the big guy
- 1:09:04Speaker 4: he was just in here here. He literally just left
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: two minutes ago.
- 1:09:11Speaker 5: He asked me why I was following this girl, and.
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: I was like, I don't know, man.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I need a Southern Bell. I think we could find that.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: That would be a fun show. Do you know bo
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: show would be?
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: I mean, I still think the better show would have
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: been if you came and found us in Wyoming, Francis.
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: I wanted to, but at that time I actually worried
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: I would upset you if I.
- 1:09:33Speaker 4: Didn't know it would have been so funny.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Do you have what are you look?
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: You're looking for a where's my fucking vein?
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: Did you guys take it's not funny?
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: It is not funny anymore.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: I thought I had a water so you did do there?
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: It is sorry. That is a full moment of you.
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: Like remember when you used to lose your vaping to
- 1:10:00Speaker 5: be in your bucket?
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: That was funny and fun Maybe I do need a
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: Southern Bell though. I like that idea.
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: I think it would be smart. I think it would
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: be I think you would like the South a lot.
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: The problem is that I I'm about as New England
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: of a boy as as it gets.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I think that there's like a U curve where it's
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: like you're too far from it, like you get it
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: gets close to each other.
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: I feel like that, Like I feel like some areas
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: of the South, like that are like somewhat similar to
- 1:10:28Speaker 4: like your upstate area.
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a different accent. Yeah, I definitely think that.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: But then you, like you, you would wind up meeting
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: a girl who's like, no.
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: I'm serious, it's too hot in the sound. It's very
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: like that's the thing that he really struggle with. I
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: can't live down there. He also hasn't been down there
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: when it's been Yeah, two hundred degrees, it's coming. Yeah,
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: it's gonna comes. Yeah, I don't understand.
- 1:10:56Speaker 5: Really well, this is gonna be a dumb comment again,
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: but I'm just just know.
- 1:11:01Speaker 4: That I know that one hundred degrees.
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: And if you think about if you think about how
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: it's like in the summer, it's crazy humid in New
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: York City, right, crazy humidity is awful, right Hell, And
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: then you're like, well, what's what's a completely different climate
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: from New York City Florida, And yet Florida gets incredibly.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: Humid, does it? I feel like I thought Florida was
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: supposed to be like a dry heat. It's not. It's not.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: It's humid.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: The swamp is dry heat.
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: Oh, I guess that when it makes sense. They have
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: like thunderstorms constantly me Florida's yeah.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: You're thinking of Arizona.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: That's the only place it's not humid.
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: Where is it?
- 1:11:38Speaker 5: California is not that humid because of the coast, I guess.
- 1:11:42Speaker 5: But why don't we have is anyone.
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: The mountain can humidity?
- 1:11:47Speaker 4: Humidity? Humidity is the worst. I hate the humid. It
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: kills you.
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: I'll take one hundred degree dry heat over eighty five
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: high humidity any day of the week.
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: Humidity, I hate it. Graphical location and moisture sources, et cetera,
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: et cetera.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: See, I don't mean to flex that much, but I
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: just do not. I feel like I don't feel temperature
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: as much as other people, hot or cold. I'm never
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: over here being.
- 1:12:14Speaker 4: Like, oh, I only feel lying.
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: I only feel the heat.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: I'm lying. He's not lying.
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: He drives city bikes every day of the year, old
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: coldest day of the year.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: He'll he'll be biking.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Home in the office. You just learned the phrase pick me,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: and you're just spamming it like a toddler.
- 1:12:41Speaker 4: Yeah, freezing out, did you guys? Not biking? Huh No,
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: just walking around? Yeah, I was making fun of him,
- 1:12:48Speaker 4: fucking pick me. I was picking taking pick me jokes
- 1:12:51Speaker 4: about you. No, it's about that's because you got that
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: you got that central air. What do you what do
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: you mean you got central air at home home? Yeah,
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: Francis has central air. You got central air. You need
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: to put it on me. Well, he's saying that.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: The only reason I don't I feel this way is
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: because I have central air. Oh, you have central air.
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: I feel like when you got when you got central air,
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: Like the temperature doesn't matter. You're going you know, you're
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: coming home to like it's when you walking by like
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: an old navy and like a hot day, open the door,
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: dust of cold air. That's nice. Yeah, you know what
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: I've learned, Harry, which is crazy. What have you learned?
- 1:13:25Speaker 5: Will you think about how cold the winter was that
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: we just had.
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: Yeah it wasn't terrible.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: Oh, come on now, it was.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: It was unrelenting and brutal.
- 1:13:33Speaker 4: It was a serious feel temperature. It was a bad winter.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: People would tell him, Yeah, I heard you.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: Yeah, they're saying a lot of people are saying they're
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: saying it's cold outside.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: I take their word. Well, apparently we're getting a nasty
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: cold front.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: I wouldn't know, No, I have no idea about that.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: But go on, you're we were having a terrible winter,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: well allegedly.
- 1:13:56Speaker 5: When you my building, the building I live in is newer, Yeah,
- 1:14:00Speaker 5: and so it I didn't turn on my heat one
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: time this winter.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: So well insulated.
- 1:14:09Speaker 5: Because it's so well insulated.
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: Wow, that's crazy. My my apartment is, so my apartment
- 1:14:15Speaker 4: is whatever temperature it is outside.
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: Your apartment is made of bamboo. It's like it's because
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: that window that the mud hut. Yeah, that window that
- 1:14:24Speaker 5: I have, it's essentially just open. It's just no, there's
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: no closing it.
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: It's thin glass. Yeah, it's thin glass. And there's also
- 1:14:30Speaker 4: a gap that's this big in the window. So it's
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: always it's if it's cold out, it's freezing loud.
- 1:14:37Speaker 5: And I've lived in really old apartments, old walk ups
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: and things like that, and that is the thing you
- 1:14:41Speaker 5: realize is that the insulation thing is is a big deal.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: Temperature regulation in New York is crazy.
- 1:14:48Speaker 4: But I'm I'm a big temperature like I'm always noticing
- 1:14:51Speaker 4: the temperature, Like if it's if it's too hot, you're
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: gonna hear about it like.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: A girl that's like a girl.
- 1:14:56Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't think it's too cold. You're gonna know.
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: I don't think you.
- 1:14:59Speaker 5: Are, because you wear coats when we podcast.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: That's just this morphia. That's just that's that's that's the
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: body of this morphia breaking through the temperatures.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: The tears, priorities, Maslow's hierarchy.
- 1:15:18Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty much. Damn dude.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: It's gonna be so nice in Florida. What tempts are
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: we looking at next week?
- 1:15:26Speaker 4: I think? So that's for some hook.
- 1:15:29Speaker 5: It's all really really good.
- 1:15:31Speaker 4: Get some hook going. Ask Gemini you do you favor?
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: Ask Gemini real quick? What the weather is going to be?
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: Did you see Sam Altman responding to that?
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: Uh? The guy making the video, Yeah.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: That's so that guy, first off, is so fucking guy.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: He's he's done so many of those videos.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: But he's also like done, he's doing the lord's work
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: showing how fucking dumb a is.
- 1:15:55Speaker 4: Yeah, especially Chatchibt.
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: This guy is like asking chatch Ebt, Francis this is
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: a video for It's so funny.
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: He just asked chatch Ebt, like time me when I
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: run this mile And he'll just like go like walk
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: off screen and be like okay, I'm back and chat
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: Ebt's like, well, it looks like you took seven, like
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: seven minutes before on the dot.
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Then it says ten on the dot when he does
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: it again, and it's like and Sam Altman had to
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: like address it, saying that model can't do that.
- 1:16:23Speaker 4: Well, he just addressed it and pretty much like it
- 1:16:24Speaker 4: doesn't work. Yeah, He's like that model is actually not
- 1:16:28Speaker 4: capable of keeping time. It's like, so, then why is
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: it allowing him to keep time? Yeah?
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: Why is I saying it can't?
- 1:16:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: And then the guy's like you're lying, He's just his
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: his dumby it. Sam Oltman, is it has to be
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: the worst human alive?
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: Definitely top three right now?
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: Really, did you hear about the allegations from his sister.
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: No, apparently he was touching on his sister what forever for?
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Yeah, since she was a damn near a toddler.
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god. Three to thirteen or something like.
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: It begs the question is he actually gay or is
- 1:16:59Speaker 4: he pulling the can and Spacey? Yeah, what I guess
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: Kevin Spacey was gay. I don't know. Remember when Kevin
- 1:17:06Speaker 4: Spacey got in trouble and he was like, well I'm gay, Yeah,
- 1:17:09Speaker 4: I do.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: So and it's the perfect get out card.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: Yeah. Sam Altman's a fucking freak.
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: In every way possible and a liar. These dudes just
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: like are trying to Steve Job pill themselves fake autists. Yeah,
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: nothing worse than a fake autist.
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: Well, it's like they're trying at Steve Jobs themselves, but
- 1:17:30Speaker 4: like Steve Jobs was so much more like innovative than
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: they are. Like they're not really bringing anything to the
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: table other than like, like, does anyone actually use chatgybt
- 1:17:40Speaker 4: still like frequently, people still hammering it.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: I'll hammer it for a recipe in a workout. Those
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: are my two things that I'll use it for.
- 1:17:48Speaker 5: Oh, I have a workout coming today that it's gonna
- 1:17:50Speaker 5: fucking ruin my life.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: I gotta go back. I haven't been to the gym
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: in like over a week.
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: Oh boy, I'm really someone someone sent it to me,
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: and I am genuinely afraid of what.
- 1:18:00Speaker 4: It's what is about to happen to us?
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: Well, okay, uh, this guy he just sent me the
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: clip and he goes, good luck, and it's uh, you
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: take two kettlebells and you're basically doing it's like a
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: man Maker workout. So I think we used to call
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: man makers. It was like both kettlebells down, you do
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: a full push up and then you stand up, you
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: clean them and then do like a double thruster, and
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: that's that's one. And you have to accumulate one hundred
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: clean kettlebells.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: And you're like a woman maker.
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: You're trying to do it. You're trying to do it.
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: Under thirty minutes is the goal?
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: Many one hundred, one hundred, Oh my god.
- 1:18:48Speaker 5: So basically, uh, they say do five and then rest
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: till the next minute starts. But that's still that's a
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: that's a thirty minute. I don't play with I don't
- 1:18:58Speaker 5: play around with that ship like this.
- 1:19:01Speaker 4: The next next set begins when the minute ends. That's
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: how they did us in Uh, when we got in
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: trouble in track, did you sprints? Oh we had the
- 1:19:09Speaker 4: beef test. Yeah, did you have the beef test? Well
- 1:19:12Speaker 4: we had to do it because we got in trouble.
- 1:19:14Speaker 5: So yeah, that that's hell.
- 1:19:17Speaker 4: We had to do one hundred and then they just
- 1:19:20Speaker 4: say no, one got to one hundred. They had to
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: just cancel the whole day. Were like throw it. Those
- 1:19:25Speaker 4: dudes crying literally like dudes just fully like bawling their.
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: Eyes like god, dude, high school across at Chevros my
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: freshman year, Adam Horgan, who was better at hockey, we
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: had to run the bay As as part of preseason
- 1:19:42Speaker 5: in full lacrosse gear, which was banana.
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: It was March, and.
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: We're in cleats, yeah, with helmets and sticks. And meanwhile,
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: like that's a place that people jog and you're past,
- 1:19:58Speaker 5: you're getting passed by guys, like you know, it's brutal
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: cleats on this on this gravel. Anyway, what happened was
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: we were all running it and apparently Adam Horgan and
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: I think uh, I think Sam Sam, I can't remember
- 1:20:15Speaker 5: his name, and maybe Preston, although I can't remember what
- 1:20:19Speaker 5: their last name, Sam Sam with Sammy Dangles on Instagram.
- 1:20:24Speaker 5: Oh okay, that's all I know he was. He was
- 1:20:26Speaker 5: also really good at hockey, dangles in multiple sports. Yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 5: they they called a buddy of theirs, like a quarter
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: of the way around. Yeah, had that guy picked them
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: up in a car and then they like drove and
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: waited in a parking lot and then got to the
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: last quarter and then uh ran the rest of the way.
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: And we're like pretending to be really tired and coach
- 1:20:51Speaker 5: Deeke Andrew found out and made them run.
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: And who told him? I don't know, Come on, someone
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: told obviously someone told, yeah.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: To be honest with you, to be honest with you.
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: I didn't even know that that had happened until coach
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: made them run endless, endless, endless sprints while the rest
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: of the team just watched.
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: Do you think I don't think I would be able
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: to be a coach like that? Like, don't you think
- 1:21:16Speaker 4: that when you feel.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: Bad, they're not in paths?
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:21:20Speaker 5: I guess you got to instilled discipline. There's also like
- 1:21:24Speaker 5: certain uh, there's certain conditioning where like the kids just
- 1:21:28Speaker 5: start to jog and you can't go any faster. Yeah,
- 1:21:32Speaker 5: And that's I'm trying to think about. Why were there
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: certain conditioning tests and things that we did where everyone
- 1:21:38Speaker 5: did throw up?
- 1:21:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what I don't understand. And like when you
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: get to that point of like I'm like when we
- 1:21:43Speaker 4: were doing the beeping thing, like people are crying, people
- 1:21:46Speaker 4: are throwing up, Like clearly we've passed the human limit. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: like maybe it's time. What were you in trouble for?
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: Because we had a meet and it's like when you
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: have like one of those track meets, there's like nine
- 1:21:59Speaker 4: hundred dif and things happening, So everyone's kind of just
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: competing in their own lane almost and it was downpouring,
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: and so everyone when they finished, they just went home.
- 1:22:08Speaker 4: It was that it was a home meet and everyone
- 1:22:10Speaker 4: went home. And then there was like one event that
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: like hadn't happened yet, and I guess the coach was
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: like we were all supposed to be there watching. It
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: was literally like what event?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Was a rain that'd be brutal? Stand for the hammer throw?
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: Yeah, it was like something like that.
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: Your coach is really mad that the the fucking track
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: team didn't have great TV chemistry.
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: The guy got fired, He got fired girls who were
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: poll vol thing and do everything's so yeah, he got
- 1:22:38Speaker 4: fired like a year later for like hitting a kid
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: or some shit. So, yeah, I can't do that. Can't
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: be doing that?
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: You confused Rick psychologically?
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: Yeah, we used to, Well doesn't that kind of just
- 1:22:50Speaker 4: go to show like that that's what he was trying
- 1:22:52Speaker 4: to do.
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: Then he just wanted to hurt something.
- 1:22:55Speaker 4: He just was trying to hurt kids.
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: Yeah, that he failed out of the police at me.
- 1:23:00Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, we nothing compared to the conditioning we had
- 1:23:06Speaker 5: to do in college though, especially when we were we
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: would and it would be like punch season, which was
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: like when you were getting into the it was like
- 1:23:14Speaker 5: rush basically.
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: So we'd have events during the week for all the
- 1:23:18Speaker 5: final clubs, and you know, you'd have to drink. You'd
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: be drinking, and then we'd have lift at like six
- 1:23:26Speaker 5: thirty in the morning and we would all the sophomores
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: would be we'd still be drunk time and you smell
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: you could smell it on our breath. And then when
- 1:23:34Speaker 5: the conditioning coach, when our strength and conditioning coach coach
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: mal and smelled it on our breath, he would just
- 1:23:40Speaker 5: be like, all right, everybody, grab your grab your gleats
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: and in a couple.
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: Of trash cans. This was in college or high school college, yeah,
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: and it was just like we knew we were about
- 1:23:52Speaker 4: to get face fucked. Is it worth it? What do
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: you mean? Like, is that worth it to you? Don't
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: a choice, you don't have a choice. But like, like
- 1:24:02Speaker 4: for me, like that was never worth it. Like for me,
- 1:24:04Speaker 4: it was like I was like, I'm just not going
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: to play sports anyway.
- 1:24:07Speaker 5: So the good question, right, when you've been recruited and
- 1:24:11Speaker 5: that's how you've like gotten into the school. You have
- 1:24:14Speaker 5: to you feel like you owe it to the team.
- 1:24:17Speaker 5: But I quit. I quit late my sophomore year. Yeah,
- 1:24:21Speaker 5: and then because I just couldn't take it.
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: I feel like, but I've heard that from so many people,
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: like going from high school sports to college sports and
- 1:24:26Speaker 4: just being like this is not worth it.
- 1:24:28Speaker 5: Yeah, and then but it like has it. It has
- 1:24:31Speaker 5: a psychological effect on you because it's part of your identity,
- 1:24:34Speaker 5: and yeah, there is a real closeness. And then my
- 1:24:37Speaker 5: senior year, I went back and played again, which was
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: a huge mistake. I should never have done. Why Because
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: I'd had enough. I'd had enough. They got rid of
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: the coach. He went over to coach Maryland, and then
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: the coach, the assistant who had originally recruited me, got
- 1:24:52Speaker 5: hired as the head coach, and he asked me to
- 1:24:54Speaker 5: come back, and I was like, finally I'll be able
- 1:24:57Speaker 5: to play for the coach I wanted to play for. Yeah,
- 1:25:00Speaker 5: I was recruited by a certain coach he'd been there
- 1:25:02Speaker 5: for twenty nine years, Coach.
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: Anderson, And as soon as he got they fired him.
- 1:25:06Speaker 5: In the summer before I got to school, and then
- 1:25:09Speaker 5: they brought in Tillman, who has become one of the
- 1:25:13Speaker 5: best college lacrosse coaches ever really, but he had come
- 1:25:16Speaker 5: from the Naval Academy.
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: Oh Jesus.
- 1:25:19Speaker 5: By the way, Harvard had been terrible at lacrosse, which
- 1:25:22Speaker 5: was a big reason I wanted to go there. Everyone
- 1:25:25Speaker 5: was like, yeah, you know, we care about a well
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: rounded education kids showing up to There were so many
- 1:25:31Speaker 5: stories I was told on my official visit, like there
- 1:25:34Speaker 5: was this great story about this kid who had had
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: he was one of the face off specialists. And in
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: the off season, you only get a certain number of
- 1:25:40Speaker 5: like actual official organized practices. I think it's twelve in
- 1:25:44Speaker 5: the IVY League. Everywhere else you can have as many
- 1:25:46Speaker 5: as you want, but we were limited because the IVY
- 1:25:48Speaker 5: League was like so stringent on emphasizing academics over athletics,
- 1:25:54Speaker 5: and so we were only allowed to have twelve official
- 1:25:56Speaker 5: organized practices in the fall. And the way that you know,
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: you supplemented that was by having what we're called individuals,
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: which was where like you could have a one coach
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: with up to six players for like an hour and
- 1:26:09Speaker 5: a half total. And so I think we were allowed
- 1:26:13Speaker 5: like two of those a week. Yeah, and you just
- 1:26:16Speaker 5: I know, this is really in the weeds. But so
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: the face off there was a guy, a face off
- 1:26:24Speaker 5: specialist who was like a backup guy. And this was
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: before I got to the school. But the story was
- 1:26:32Speaker 5: that he'd gotten so drunk the night before and they
- 1:26:35Speaker 5: were out on the field and there were they were
- 1:26:37Speaker 5: there was only one other face off guy, so he
- 1:26:39Speaker 5: had to be there with him to train that guy.
- 1:26:43Speaker 5: And they were waiting for him out on the freezing
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: cold field and like fifteen twenty minutes late, they see
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: him and he's jogging out and he's wearing khakis, and
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: he is drinking a black coffee through the runs.
- 1:27:01Speaker 8: Of his helmet, sipping as he's running out and and
- 1:27:08Speaker 8: and they're watching him run out to the fucking He
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: finally gets out there, he's super fucked up and like
- 1:27:13Speaker 8: and the coach is just like, I.
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: Mean, what are you doing? Like no, and he goes
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: was it the khakis coach? And he got suspended.
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: There was a story. There was a story that we
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: were told.
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: All of this was told to me on my official visit,
- 1:27:29Speaker 5: which was part of what made me want to go there. Yeah,
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: I was like oh, I'm not going to be running
- 1:27:34Speaker 5: to the ground this this team has no no cast,
- 1:27:38Speaker 5: no delusion of winning a national championship, and this seems
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: like a great place to go because I didn't care
- 1:27:46Speaker 5: about that. And so the other story I remember being
- 1:27:51Speaker 5: told was that they had the previous year, they'd gone out.
- 1:27:53Speaker 5: They'd flown out to play Denver in Denver and out
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: there some guy like program the night. Then after the game,
- 1:28:01Speaker 5: they were all in the team hotel. And this was
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: at a time when like the seniors on the team
- 1:28:05Speaker 5: who were twenty one could go drink yeah in the
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: hotel bar or whatever, and like might have even been
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: drinking with the coaches, probably yeah. And one of the
- 1:28:17Speaker 5: seniors on the team met this like milf yeah divorcee
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: who invited him back to her like penthouse apartment in Denver.
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: And the next day they were all flying home and
- 1:28:31Speaker 5: he was He called the coach and was like, I'm
- 1:28:33Speaker 5: not coming back. I'll be back in like three days,
- 1:28:37Speaker 5: and they were like, all right.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: He had a fuck fest in Denver.
- 1:28:39Speaker 5: I stayed in Denver with this woman and just like
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: banged her for three days and just then he flew home.
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: These were the stories.
- 1:28:48Speaker 5: That I was told, yeah, yeah, where I was like,
- 1:28:51Speaker 5: I love.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: This, So what a semester? You can just go fuck
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: a mill everyone?
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: And then what happened he got there the culture of
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: the team. Every junior on the team went abroad in
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: the fall. It was like a full blown ritual. Like you,
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: they were just gone for the entire fall off season.
- 1:29:12Speaker 5: And then when Tills came from the Naval Academy, they
- 1:29:16Speaker 5: had gone to the national championship against Syracuse. It was
- 1:29:20Speaker 5: a military school. Jesus, you know, half the fucking team
- 1:29:24Speaker 5: ends up as a seal, right, yeah, yeah.
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: Which is not that hard. We've established that difficult.
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: He reset the culture immediately, and like I remember distinctly
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: our first, our first week of organized conditioning my freshman year.
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: It was five thirty in the morning, three days a week,
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: five thirty first, the very first one we had. I
- 1:29:47Speaker 5: was so afraid of sleeping through an alarm that I
- 1:29:49Speaker 5: I didn't sleep one minute. And I remember just walking down.
- 1:29:52Speaker 5: It was four thirty in the morning, it's dark, You're
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: walking down across the river to fucking run separators. The
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: separator Why was it so early? Because you have class?
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: He was setting the tone. Tilman was setting the tone.
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: He was like, no more of this bullshit that I've
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: seen or heard about. Yeah, and then and then nobody
- 1:30:11Speaker 5: fucking anyone, nobody. It was like nobody went abroad anymore.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: I had wanted to play two sports. I wanted to
- 1:30:18Speaker 5: play soccer in He was like, are you kidding? So
- 1:30:22Speaker 5: I played my freshman year most of my sophomore year,
- 1:30:24Speaker 5: and it's just like, this isn't what I wanted to quit.
- 1:30:26Speaker 5: Then after the junior year, Tilles went to Maryland and
- 1:30:29Speaker 5: then they brought back the assistant from the original regime
- 1:30:34Speaker 5: and he was like, come back and play. And I
- 1:30:36Speaker 5: went back and played. But I shouldn't have. Then I
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: would have done If I hadn't done that, I would
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: have done the lampoon and I would have done like
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: stand up and I was getting into that stuff at
- 1:30:44Speaker 5: that point.
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: Yeah, fuck, you should have done the lampoon. Actually, God
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: doesn't make mistakes.
- 1:30:51Speaker 4: That's why.
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: By the way, that's why there's a huge hole in
- 1:30:53Speaker 5: my statistics on my go Crimson page for my sophomore
- 1:30:57Speaker 5: in junior season.
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: Oh brings down all the averages.
- 1:31:00Speaker 5: And so he wasn't good. Well, I was my freshman year.
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: I started and then I quit so, and then I
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: tried to come back and relearn Division one lacrosse my
- 1:31:12Speaker 5: senior year and actually ended up working my way back
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: into the lineup, but by that point I wasn't.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: I wasn't junior years.
- 1:31:18Speaker 5: Junior year was the best year I had. I went,
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: I went abroad southern France and that was really cool,
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: travel around and then uh came back and just like
- 1:31:29Speaker 5: got good grades.
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they brought you right back, couldn't keep
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: you away. Did some theater. Oh it was cool. An
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: acappella any a cappella.
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: I tried out for one of those groups, but got
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: all the way to the end and then they were like,
- 1:31:44Speaker 5: we don't like the fact that you play lacrosse too.
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: This is too big of a commitment.
- 1:31:49Speaker 4: We quit.
- 1:31:49Speaker 5: They do a seven continent tour every every.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: Little munch Antarctica.
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: Singto the that's the DN and Tonics that we were
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: talking about with Shane the GNT.
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: Listen one time, my bad, my bad, actively listen one
- 1:32:05Speaker 1: time for us.
- 1:32:05Speaker 4: I heard gin.
- 1:32:08Speaker 5: I don't even I feel like I just blacked out
- 1:32:10Speaker 5: telling my entire life story.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Oh that was very nice. Well, end of the pod.
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: I felt like it got like it took some weight
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: off my shoulders filler.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: Maybe what we'll do is we'll just put like a
- 1:32:20Speaker 5: little bookmark on on the episode, be like, hey, listen,
- 1:32:23Speaker 5: if you fucking hate Francis, just skip the next ten minutes.
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: No, no, no, you don't have to do that.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: You're thinking too much about that to kind of show.
- 1:32:32Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:32:32Speaker 5: I always feel bad though, because people message it to
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: me and I'm like, I don't want them to have
- 1:32:36Speaker 5: to listen to this, but I can't stop myself.
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: You don't have to listen to anything. They're choosing to listen.
- 1:32:41Speaker 5: To it hate listening.
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh, they're fucking they're probably just like they're probably
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: flying a two person like fighter jet and they just
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: can't like change the channel.
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: Yeah, that's it.
- 1:32:53Speaker 1: They're just fucking whipping through the air. They have both
- 1:32:56Speaker 1: hands on the fucking missile.
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: They got bogies on the silk, have the they don't
- 1:33:00Speaker 4: have like the plus fifteen button. I can't Shacob.
- 1:33:09Speaker 5: That was that was Why did I bring that up?
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: Oh? Because I asked if we were talking about conditioning. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: the conditioning was no. So the answer was no, it's
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: not worth it. Once I had tried it, I should
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: not have gone back. I mean, it's probably definitely worth it.
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: If you're like fucking like an insane football player and
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: you go to like a D one school or like
- 1:33:30Speaker 4: an SEC school, yeah, and like you're like, this is
- 1:33:33Speaker 4: just I'm just training for the next four years, for
- 1:33:35Speaker 4: the next two years, however long.
- 1:33:37Speaker 5: I will say that I think that a lot of
- 1:33:40Speaker 5: the players on the team, I mean the alumni network
- 1:33:43Speaker 5: was so close to the team that they got jobs
- 1:33:46Speaker 5: as a result of having played.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: But were you bummed at all that you didn't get
- 1:33:50Speaker 4: in any when the nil was around?
- 1:33:53Speaker 5: Probably could?
- 1:33:53Speaker 4: I actually don't.
- 1:33:54Speaker 5: I don't know for sure that the IVY League, oh yeah,
- 1:33:58Speaker 5: kind of right, nil payments. But that was a benefit,
- 1:34:04Speaker 5: was that if you wanted a job in banking, there
- 1:34:07Speaker 5: was like an internship waiting for you. Yeah, yeah, that's nice,
- 1:34:10Speaker 5: one call away.
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: Or if the boys on the team now want a
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: job in podcasting, you know that we'll pick them up
- 1:34:16Speaker 1: like that.
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: Dude.
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: I got hit up by a woman on the women's
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: lacrosse team who was like, Hi, I'm interested in media
- 1:34:25Speaker 5: and you know, entertainment and would love to I would
- 1:34:30Speaker 5: love to. I would love to come and do an
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: internship at Barstool Sports this summer, and so I was
- 1:34:37Speaker 5: happy to hear that I passed her name on to
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: the to the team. I was just like, give her
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: a shot.
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: When that When you're writing the book with Dave, how
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: often does he say sling it? Oh, this guy can
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: really sling it. I feel like Dave loves to say that.
- 1:34:50Speaker 4: It can sling it.
- 1:34:52Speaker 5: I don't know what does that mean.
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: He was saying it about somebody recently that when I
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: was talking to him, He's like, yeah, he can't really
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: sling it.
- 1:35:00Speaker 4: Yeah, he has like the what do they say? He's
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: always like, you know, I don't I'm not going to
- 1:35:03Speaker 4: make the guys that can only that can only throw
- 1:35:05Speaker 4: sixty try to throw a hundred. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:35:11Speaker 1: He'll also be like he's here for a cup of coffee.
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: He loves to use that a cup of coffee. Everybody
- 1:35:17Speaker 4: hit me with that for the first time. Set me
- 1:35:19Speaker 4: back to you. Oh yeah, multiple times. You're here for
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: a couple of coffee. Yeah, David's been I think at this.
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: Point I've I've had like a fucking jumbo Venti latte.
- 1:35:31Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. He doesn't. He throws around like
- 1:35:34Speaker 4: You'll hear him say someone's been here for a cup
- 1:35:35Speaker 4: of coffee, and you're like, I guy's been here for
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: like forty years, longer than me, Like, I still haven't
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: had a cup of coffee. Yeah. I think in Dave's mind,
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: it's probably everyone that. Like I think Dave probably just
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: considers everyone that came after they moved to New York
- 1:35:54Speaker 4: is like brand new.
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: Yeah for sure, Yeah, a cup of coffee, and then
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: some people he just doesn't even Acknow, So what did
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: you say to the girl, Like, we could use it,
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: we could use a girl member.
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: Passed her on pastor down the I don't know. Yeah,
- 1:36:08Speaker 4: I don't know if they'll daughter of a girl, mom
- 1:36:11Speaker 4: hire her. Should have a spin off totally.
- 1:36:14Speaker 1: Or like a brand under us and it's girl content.
- 1:36:17Speaker 5: The men's lacrosse team is doing great. They're uh I
- 1:36:21Speaker 5: think they're ten and one right now, nine and one.
- 1:36:24Speaker 5: They'd beat Brown this weekend they lost to UNC, but
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: UNC's got to be the best team in the country. Actually,
- 1:36:29Speaker 5: But do.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: They want jobs in media?
- 1:36:32Speaker 4: Do they want to be junior? Uh? Oh?
- 1:36:34Speaker 5: I think a lot of the UNC guys aspire to
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: be professional lacrosse players, which I don't think that that's particular.
- 1:36:42Speaker 4: And what else do they want to do? I don't know,
- 1:36:45Speaker 4: I mean I stay at home heads or like what else?
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: How are they going to make money? Though?
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: Look we laugh that story I told where I landed
- 1:36:57Speaker 5: just miraculously at that private on that in Miami. Uh,
- 1:37:03Speaker 5: there was a group of young guys that were in
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: the private airport. They'd come in right behind us, and
- 1:37:09Speaker 5: all of them were like UNC lacrosse alums. So clearly
- 1:37:13Speaker 5: someone's doing pretty well.
- 1:37:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but they probably all have like they're probably working
- 1:37:18Speaker 4: in like investment banking and ship they might be. Yeah,
- 1:37:20Speaker 4: isn't there like the only guy that's making like money
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: like that as well, like Mike orb not Yeah, Mike Rabel.
- 1:37:28Speaker 4: Mike Rabel.
- 1:37:31Speaker 5: Dating Diana yea uh yeah. I mean I don't know
- 1:37:36Speaker 5: exactly how the how that PLL league is doing. And
- 1:37:40Speaker 5: I don't understand really why lacrosse doesn't seem to translate
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: particularly well to a professional league because I don't know,
- 1:37:46Speaker 5: the college interest seems pretty high.
- 1:37:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's like fun to watch, it's nice, like
- 1:37:50Speaker 4: high scoring, it's cool. Yeah, action pack indoor they fight, Yeah,
- 1:37:54Speaker 4: they sling it. What is it called the box League? Yeah?
- 1:38:00Speaker 4: Shout at the cannons. Philadelphia wing shot to the Boston Cannons.
- 1:38:03Speaker 4: Come on, they were outdoor? They were they?
- 1:38:05Speaker 5: Well, yeah, I thought they were indoor.
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: I thought had played it like TD Garden.
- 1:38:10Speaker 5: I don't think that's the Cannons. Maybe it is, but
- 1:38:13Speaker 5: it could have been Lax and Chooses.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: Thinking of Frisbee, Chooses was the ultimate team.
- 1:38:22Speaker 4: All right, all right, cool on episode. We'll be back.
