- 1:02Honey, save it for fiestas. Four Finger Discount Dude, Welcome to
- 1:27Fourth Finger Discount, the podcast where we always refer to ourselves as Torntosaurus Sex.
- 1:32This week we hit the review episode seven of season seventeen. It is
- 1:36episode G A B F two two. It is the last of the red
- 1:38hot mummers. I'm Dando and I am Guy also known as Jurassic Fuck No
- 1:44No down to How are you good? So I was just mentioned to you
- 1:51off the air you're rocking your new beanie. I've always had here on the
- 1:53podcast that guy rocks a good beanie. And it makes sense because you're just
- 1:56tell me this. This beanie traveled all the way from Europe, so hey,
- 1:59there you go, didn't He's got a hat all the way from Europe.
- 2:01Marge got her hat, and you know, Lisa's going to Italy.
- 2:06It's sort of all ties in. I'd like to I won't lie to your
- 2:09listeners, all to you, Dan, though I mean not today at least.
- 2:12I'm always lying. But I'd like to say it all came together in
- 2:16one great scheme, like the unified theory of four Finger discand that we often
- 2:21talk about. But no this was just a happy accident, a lucky fluke
- 2:24that all my postmen arrived at once as well. It's a really strange incident.
- 2:30I was looking out the window thinking, because I are you like this
- 2:34When you buy stuff online, I'm always so excited for it. When you
- 2:38see it's like it's it's on board for delivery, You're like, oh,
- 2:39yes, yes, I'm constantly hitting refreshed. I'm like Zugerberg at the end
- 2:45of the social do we have any friends yet? Do we have any friends
- 2:47yet? Like, where's my ship? Where's my ship? And they said
- 2:53arriving today between one and three. I'm like, dope. And then I,
- 2:57you know, I'm looking out the window. I can see that my
- 3:00oman, you know, my normal postal delivery person is doing the rounds,
- 3:04like, oh, you're gonna drop off stuff for me in a second.
- 3:06And then I saw the van coming and I'm like, oh my god.
- 3:07They were both at the door at once. It was incredible. It felt
- 3:12like all my Christmases have come at once. Why did they get jealous?
- 3:14Like it's a lot super awkward. That's like, I suppose they're all not
- 3:17enemies, are they They're not sort of like competition for each other. They're
- 3:21just like I said, just like, hey Bert, here you doing.
- 3:23I'm wondering if you know, if you get in the van and you're delivering
- 3:27packages as opposed to delivering letters on the bike, is that a kick upstairs?
- 3:30Is that a promotion? Who knows? I'm not too sure. At
- 3:34least you wouldn't have Maggie swooping you if you're in the van. Correct.
- 3:38Have you seen the new shields at the post he has now? Like their
- 3:39little guards they have they're in like little tiktoks or rickshaws, and yeah,
- 3:44it's it's it's really fascinating. Look at the you could do a really cool
- 3:47sort of not stop motion, but you know, the kind of thing where
- 3:53you see the evolution of time sort of spent up over things like you know,
- 3:57he's a posty walking around with his back. Now he's on a bike.
- 3:59He was on motorbike, now he's in a little rickshaw. And then
- 4:02I guess those jobs are always going to be there because we're always ordering shit
- 4:05out online, aren't me. I spoke more now more than ever? Yeah,
- 4:09now more than ever. Yeah, that's that would be a good time.
- 4:11Like's actually I actually had to be card be cut. I mean post
- 4:15post person, post delivery person. I mean, I want to say postman
- 4:18because I want to I want to be one one day. I feel like
- 4:20I can see myself just being a post for a couple of years, just
- 4:23to hang out and relax and just I feel like you're bringing joy to everybody.
- 4:26Well, that's the thing. I mean, the person who puts the
- 4:28letters in your mailbox. Sometimes it's like you're being evicted or you know your
- 4:35electricity costs six hundred dollars. Yeah, fucking hell, I'm not exactly gabby
- 4:40to see you. But the post the delivery person in the van bringing you
- 4:45a box, like this is the shit I ordered, This is the shit
- 4:46I want to give it to me, Give it to me. Yeah,
- 4:48so you're always happy to see them. I think if you wanted a bit
- 4:51of an ego boost or a bit of a is it serotonin? What's the
- 4:57what's the that just that that makes you feel good? Yeah, the feel
- 5:00good chemical? Yeah, the one that there's a few, but I think
- 5:04serotonin is the is the one. Yeah, you'd get a bit of a
- 5:08serotonin. But it's like, hey, there's so and so with this address.
- 5:12Here's the thing, thanks so much. Oh do we need the same
- 5:15thing? No? No, no, they's smile on your face is proof
- 5:17of identity enough? Yeah, well, I think you know you ordered too
- 5:21much. When you sort of become mates with the postman like they remember you,
- 5:26it's like shit. But I've always said I think being a posty,
- 5:29like delivering packages would be a great job. Or for some reason. I
- 5:31know it's probably volunteering. You don't get paid for it, but I like
- 5:34the idea of is being like the lollipop man, like lollipop lady for school
- 5:38for kids. It's just I've walked Elliott to Kinda the other day and it's
- 5:42the first time we'd actually been on the other side of the road because the
- 5:44parks were all then to cross the lollipop crossing and that guy just blues whistle,
- 5:48holding up traffic, being smile on his face. I'm like, this
- 5:51guy just looks like he's having a great time. I understand that just that
- 5:55lollipop man or posty, that's that's where I vision myself eventually, it's just
- 5:59for a year, I wouldn't man. Yeah, I mean, just you
- 6:02know, you get your van, you know, you probably load up your
- 6:04playlist with some cool tunes, and it's like driving around seeing new areas,
- 6:10and I wonder if there's any podcasts hosted by a post like Posty Podcast,
- 6:14and then just you know, whiles they're driving around, they're just recording your
- 6:16podcast talking about their day hanging out with the post on the delivery day.
- 6:21That that would be a thing, right, yeah, well you could do
- 6:24a YouTube channel. Let me imagine you just hanging out with a Posty,
- 6:28set up your dash cam. It's like okay, woom, heading to the
- 6:30wrong side of two careful, hey, guys, come up below. What
- 6:33do you reckons in this package? Let's make this happen Posty Podcast. I'm
- 6:41always thinking, always unless you keep patronizing this show. This is the future
- 6:46of four Finger Discount. It's four finger Delivery. Yes, yes, all
- 6:50right, yeah, well, thank you guys for chutting too the show.
- 6:51Hope you are enjoying everything we're bringing you here on the four Finger Discount network.
- 6:56De forget we've got all the other shows here. One a ten minute
- 7:00had about the origins of my hat. Yes, but we are. This
- 7:02weekend is Easter m so happy Easter tour you lovely people out there, Happy
- 7:08Good Friday. It's the most wonderful time of the years. I love Good
- 7:14Friday for some reason. I mean, Christmas is great, of course you're
- 7:17a you're a big Christmas guy as we all know. But it's a hectic
- 7:21time of year, you know, the lead up to it, and you
- 7:24know it's always you're good to go with your family. You don't have to,
- 7:28but I mean, and yeah, that's pretty good when you do.
- 7:30Feels kind of like, oh my god, there's so much going on.
- 7:33Good Friday is traditionally the day when everything just like, let's just sit down.
- 7:38Let's just we're turning everything off. You know, we're turning off the
- 7:42world. Yeah, shops a shut put the Good Friday appeal thing on,
- 7:46like you know, it always makes you feel good in a day like gay
- 7:48we beat last year's record, you know. Yeah, everyone's hand out a
- 7:53few bucks to help out the sick kids. You know, it's the day
- 7:56you traditionally eat hot Cross buns all the oh I mustard meit um. The
- 8:03fine folks that will Worth have brought out a brand of hot Cross buns with
- 8:07Cara milk studs in them. Holy shit, and they're so delicious. So
- 8:13I'm breaking the tradition and actually having hot Cross buns before Good Friday. I
- 8:16sorry, guy having a big rant at supermarket about I know it would have
- 8:20been last week. I'll mobe Friday night about the price of hot cross buns.
- 8:24I just just like walking through the bank and see this guy yo out
- 8:26not fucking paying that, and then I don't fucking by him. And this
- 8:31guy's holly of hot Cross buns saying four bucks, four bucks, and the
- 8:37guy, the guy goes the two for six. He goes, fuck,
- 8:39I don't care. He throws it down. I'm like, mate, it
- 8:41is not this kid's fault. I'll price the fucking hot cross buns. It's
- 8:46just here trying to make a buck. Do the math, dipshit, Yeah,
- 8:50okay, two packs of hot Cross buns equals twelve hot cross buns for
- 8:56six dollars. That's fifty cents a bunt. Pretty good price, pretty comprised.
- 9:00You're average barn. It's fairly dense. You know, you whack a
- 9:03little butter on that, a little you know, you're sweet condiment of choice
- 9:07on top. It's like, holy shit, fifty cents for that, you
- 9:11know, with your morning coffee. Fucking good on obvious to be a big
- 9:15fan of the choc chip ones. So I still do the choc chip muffins.
- 9:18I believe they do. Yeah, I like the chocolate chips, but
- 9:20they have like the cross that's chocolate on top, and that ship never like
- 9:24melts. It's always just crunched. It's so good to quote Hall and or
- 9:28Roads. I can't go for that. No, not good, no,
- 9:30but anyway, Yeah, so happy Easter to all you. Also obviously the
- 9:33supporters on Patriona getting this pre Easter, or you guys out there on the
- 9:37free feed, we love you all as well. You're getting this after Easter,
- 9:39so you hope you all have fantastic East. I'm really excited for Easter.
- 9:43Alliott's super kean, but we're going with the vibe of not going to
- 9:46be just overflowing with chocolate here. We're going for a couple of presents and
- 9:50some chocolate eggs because we just don't want a house full of chocolate eggs because
- 9:54nicola and if the chocolates there will eat it, and we're trying to eat
- 9:56a bit healthy. We're going to England and July and things like that,
- 9:58and I'm like, I don't want to cover it for a chocolate and plus
- 10:01you don't want to. I do not want to be a grinch, but
- 10:05I don't want my kids eating chocolate for the next six months because you buy
- 10:07so much. You know. No, no, just get one good bunny
- 10:11or one good sized egg and a quality one. I've got I've got two
- 10:15bunnies each for each kid, a biggish cabrit egg each, like a Humpty
- 10:18dumpty one each, whatever it is. And there's a couple of packs of
- 10:22a couple of the twelve packs, you know, the small ones, they're
- 10:24fine, the little ones, Yeah, they're good. And Nicola likes her
- 10:26lint bunny. She has to have her lint bunny every year, her lint
- 10:28bunny with a little bell. Yeah. I'm getting a lint bunny for each
- 10:31of Louise's kids, the Louise And she's because I said, I'm trying to
- 10:37get the kids, you know, east of waste Gas and I don't go
- 10:39overboard. Let's not go overboard on this ship. And I'm like, I
- 10:41knew what you mean, but still, because they never ever take them seriously
- 10:45when they say that means get me something good, though, I'll go overboard,
- 10:48but I want something. But you know what it is. The little
- 10:50bell on those bunnies just makes them feel so prestigious, doesn't It's like,
- 10:54oh, this is special. That and the gold wrappings. Yeah, I'll
- 10:58never get an oster, but I did get a lint b. It's like,
- 11:03it's like the Grammy of Easter ects. Let us know your your Easter
- 11:05stories. Hey, hey, I just realized this episode is about Easter.
- 11:11I'm just not they're doing Easter hunts. Oh my god, it just ties
- 11:13in. What the fuck? It just tied in perfectly, see the unified
- 11:18theory of four finger discounts. It remains in place. It just dawned on
- 11:20me. Holy. This episode starts with them doing an Easter egg hunt.
- 11:24Wow, there you go. Why does this ship always work out for us?
- 11:26Oh? I'm not complaining. It's good though. Let's not complain about
- 11:31shit working out for yes, exactly. But the last of the red hot
- 11:33mummers another margin mummers, red hat mummas. I always say hot, okay,
- 11:39red hat mums. That makes far more sense. They were hot though.
- 11:41I guess Dando just got negative points on the guy David's no you Jelly.
- 11:50The last of the red hat mummers. So, yeah, another story
- 11:54where marges the a neglected mother or a neglected wife, but that aside,
- 11:58I just neglected in general wife. Yeah. It feels bad enough when you's
- 12:03like, you know, when Homer disregards or when the kids are sort of
- 12:07like underestimated or whatever. But yeah, this is just like, oh my
- 12:11god, you have a friend in the world. This is so sad.
- 12:13Yeah, the lines where she's like, I guess I'm just not meant to
- 12:16have friends. I'm like, Jesus Christ, this is meant to be a
- 12:18comedy. Why do you make me feel bad all the time. It's like
- 12:20the fourth because there's been a Triouse of Horror rises episode, there's been six
- 12:22episodes that are not Triouse of Horror Bass, so six cannon per se episodes.
- 12:28I think five of them have been about Homer being either a bad dad
- 12:33or a bad husband. But ye, and you especially deserve a friend.
- 12:41As exuberant as Tammy, played in full voice by Lily Tomlin. What a
- 12:46terrific guest performance. I was so. I was very very happy with what
- 12:50she brought to the table. She's just full of energy. Now tell our
- 12:54listeners, who is Lily? Give us a bit of a brief little guy.
- 12:56Some synopsis. She is well now literally Tom's a bit of a bit
- 13:01of a legend in the world of world of comedy. She was a stand
- 13:05up comic back in the well, she may have even started in the late
- 13:09sixties, and certainly in the seventies. Is when she's Martin's laughing, I
- 13:13think in the sixties, right, that's right, Yeah, it sketch comedian.
- 13:16I guess there's something you might say as well. Became very famous on
- 13:18laughing for various characters. Of course, did not just stand up comedy,
- 13:26but more like actual sort of stand up performances, not like not like a
- 13:31five minute set or something like that, but a full on show, like
- 13:33a theatrical show, and did heaps of those, and then graduate, not
- 13:37graduated, but moved into acting. Appeared in a bunch of movies nine to
- 13:43five, Jane Fonder and Dolly Parton is one of the most famous. Appeared
- 13:48on a whole bunch of shows. I guess modern audiences would probably know her
- 13:50best from say Grayson Frankie Nicola watches that of course, Yeah, yeah,
- 13:54yeah. Louise's young son FeelA incredible young man about twelve years old, but
- 14:03just the mind of it, like are you a child or are you in
- 14:07fact, are you Benjamin Button, are you an old because he's like sounds
- 14:13that we get along because I'm very much the same. He's incredibly into Grayson
- 14:16Frankie's like, you're a twelve we were old boy. This is not for
- 14:20you twelve. That is a little but yeah, a remarkable, remarkable brain
- 14:28on that boy. Yeah, it's better than the ship that he could be
- 14:31watching you know, well that's true, I mean occasionally be watching young Sheldon.
- 14:35Yeah, yeah, yeah, it was like going to Grayson Frankie.
- 14:39Lily was also in m Lewis Wing right correct. Yeah, Now she's had
- 14:43a really varied, incredible career, you know, clearly very talented person,
- 14:48very um a very smart comedian as well. I mean, I will say
- 14:56my knowledge of her body of work is not as broad as it should be.
- 14:58I really should. I got a lot more of this stuff. But
- 15:00I mean she's one of those people who has sort of been part of the
- 15:03establishment for certainly as long as I've been around, and that's a long dame.
- 15:07So yeah, probsolutely Tomlin and yeah, but you know she is showing
- 15:11up on the Simpsons back in two thousand and five and just really bringing it,
- 15:15you know, just bringing a lot of fun, raucous, exuberant energy
- 15:20to this supporting character of Tammy. I think it helps too when she's brought
- 15:24in during a story and during a scene in particular where Marge is so depressed
- 15:28and down, and she brings that, like you said, the energy.
- 15:30It's just like that's such a contrast, but also too a character who is
- 15:35so positive and intelligent and determined, and particularly a female as well. You
- 15:41don't get that many characters like that in the Simpsons anymore. I just feel
- 15:45like there's not much positivity in the show. Like Wigham and lew are always
- 15:48arguing with each other and a comic book guy, and like, I just
- 15:50feel like this this is just very pessimistic humor. At the Having said that,
- 15:54I mean, I've actually found it really nice in this episode that you
- 15:58saw this hidden side of Millhouse. We will get to that when we get
- 16:03to that absolutely bit. But you're right, I mean there's a lot in
- 16:04this episode that's kind of you know. I mean, I think you know,
- 16:11something that made us fall in love with the Simpsons and fall in love
- 16:14with Springfield in general was they were kind of battlers. I mean, it
- 16:18wasn't exactly Struggle Street, Evergreen Terrace or anything like that. They were suit
- 16:22of your typical middles family. Yeah, but they were they were getting by,
- 16:27you know, they were all right, but you know, of course
- 16:30life was throwing curveballs at them. But generally they were positive. They had
- 16:33one another, they had the community, they had, you know, a
- 16:36sense of self as well, so and then we're going to be sort of
- 16:38walking around beaten by life. Occasionally they were as you all, as you
- 16:44always do, as we all do, but generally there was an optimism,
- 16:49kind of an understated optimism, like, look, life kind of sucks,
- 16:52sometimes it's generally pretty good if you've got someone to you know, someone in
- 16:57your corner or at anything, yourself, or you know, the support,
- 17:00you know, the community that knows and respects and likes you and all that
- 17:06kind of business. Roseanne Barb builds a bils living around that kind of aspect,
- 17:10didn't she Like the average family that battlers, but they find a way
- 17:11because they've got each other. Yeah, yeah, I mean yeah. The
- 17:15Roseanne Show was yeah, very much a celebration of I guess blue collar America
- 17:21or blue collar community and yeah, of course there are other shows like that
- 17:25as well, but yeah, and the SIMS wasn't quite that, but it
- 17:27was despite the fact that they were animated and all that kind of business.
- 17:33You still if they still feel incredibly relatable. Yeah, but in more recent
- 17:37episodes it's kind of it's become more cartoonish. Yeah. Yeah, and not
- 17:44in in attitude, if not in presentation, but even things like in this
- 17:48episode you say cartoonish, like you know, mister Burns, mister Burns character
- 17:51is just so cartoonish now, oh you needs to be back next Tuesday and
- 17:53want my eyeballs read whatever. And I was just like, I hate how
- 17:59they turned Burns in to this just weird. But it's like he's in human
- 18:03now, no cyborg of capitalism is what he yes, yes, as opposed
- 18:07to just I'm thinking about comparisons when it's in this and It's a Wonderful life
- 18:12for instance, where you say home or would be like the Jimmy Steward character
- 18:17but not quite as nice. But mister Burns is definitely, you know,
- 18:22the head of Pottersville. You know, he's the guy who basically owns the
- 18:26town because he owns so much stuff in it. That's enough. That's enough
- 18:32of a of an adversary or enough of a looming threat. You don't need
- 18:36to turn him into a cartoon villain. No sense, not at all now.
- 18:41I also I loved Lily's performance as Tammy, right, I thought she
- 18:44was just fantastic. What was the point of the cheery red tomatoes? They
- 18:48didn't really. They threw Agnes in there so that we had a character that
- 18:52we knew that they could give lines to. The rest of them were just
- 18:55stock standard, just fill up. They won't They didn't say anything. They
- 18:57were just there to fill a gap. And then when it came down to
- 19:00like the heist at the end, why do they need all of them?
- 19:03Like Marge went through open the front door, Agnes have the code. Why
- 19:07did you need ten women there to grab a negg out of a vault?
- 19:10That's the thing. If you're going to do an Oceans eleven so hist deal,
- 19:12Yeah, yeah, do an Oceans eleven thing where everybody has something to
- 19:17do exactly. That's the That's the great joy of a heist movie or a
- 19:21high story. It's like, you think we need one more, We're going
- 19:23to need one more to pull off all this shit that we want to do
- 19:27now, ad middly, you're doing this in the space of a twenty five
- 19:30minute episode or whatever, so you can't necessarily flesh everybody out, but just
- 19:34even do it in a little shorthand bit where it's like, character A,
- 19:38you're doing this, character B, you're doing this, and yeah, and
- 19:41even do it in Oceans eleven Star with a bit of a sort of a
- 19:44flashy little montage bit. Yeah, because it just cuts it just cuts them
- 19:47at the vault, and I'm like, oh, this isn't a heist,
- 19:49it's just a break in. Yeah, there's a difference between a heist and
- 19:55a break in. It didn't even give us like a backing cool backing track
- 19:59where it like doing all all shit and stuff. But I just I've just
- 20:00got here. This episode. What it needed was it needed to have this
- 20:06cheery red tomatoes or che red tomatoes. Yeah. This gang needed to be
- 20:10all characters that we know, and it's like a secret society kind of group.
- 20:12Wasn't one that just sort of goes to Johnny Whatevers and has margaritis and
- 20:15laughs about whatever. I just think that the characters meant nothing. The highest
- 20:21meant nothing. At the end, the whole story really meant nothing because by
- 20:22the time we got to the end, Marge still doesn't really have any friends.
- 20:26No that yeah, bad band ending, band ending. Yeah, we
- 20:32can't see each other anymore. I'm like, why, why can't you see
- 20:34each other anymore? What's what? Yeah? A little bit of background as
- 20:38per Wikipedia on the Cheery Red Tomatoes, which is actually based on an organization
- 20:45called the Red Hat Society Incorporated. Yeah, which, according to our friends
- 20:49at Wiki, in the fall of nineteen ninety seven, Suell and Cooper,
- 20:52anatis from California, bought a red hat on a trip to Tusun, Arizona.
- 20:56She then brought another red hat and gave it to a friend as a
- 20:59birth gift. She was inspired by the poem warning, which begins, when
- 21:06I'm an old woman, I shall wear purple and a red hat which doesn't
- 21:08go and doesn't suit me, which is that's a lovely philosophy, like when
- 21:11I'm old or wear purple. So it's code for like, I don't give
- 21:15a fuck anymore. Yeah, that's great. So, yeah, the cherry
- 21:18Red Tomatoes are clearly play on the Red Hat Society. But yeah, I
- 21:22mean they just need it to mean more. Yeah, I mean I just
- 21:27sort of arrived out of nowhere, just the bunch of ladies who have no
- 21:30lines. Just they're standing around having a gut margin when she won't do what
- 21:33they tell her to do. And I'm just like, yeah, And look,
- 21:37as much as I dug the whole b plot in this, with Lisa
- 21:44needing to learn Italian and Millinghouse miraculously knowing Italian and being a really good teacher
- 21:49at it, I don't know. I would have been happy if you'd shaved
- 21:53five or so minutes off that and devoted it to fleshing out the cherry red
- 21:59tomatoes, making them making those tomatoes a little more fleshy. Yeah. And
- 22:03I just think having them be characters that we know would have made it far
- 22:07cool. And I feel like, you know, a montage of them breaking
- 22:10into Brands's mansion via heist shenanigans would have been cool. Yeah. Oceans loving
- 22:15have been out by this point, hadn't it, So you could have done
- 22:17Oceans twelve by this point you could, Yeah, I mean yeah. The
- 22:22thing about Oceans eleven as well, was it was it kind of it set
- 22:26a lot of trends. I mean, there were a few higst movies that
- 22:27came out after because Oceans eleven did really well, but also stylistically is like,
- 22:33oh this is super cool and think that you can. It's more than
- 22:36two decades old. Now you look at Oceans eleven and down it's like,
- 22:37oh shit, this could have been released yesterday. It's it's timelessly fucking cool.
- 22:42The twist at the end, it's just like, exactly love that movie.
- 22:48One of my all time favorites. We should definitely discuss it on a
- 22:52movie guy at some point, we really should. It's like one of my
- 22:55first eight movies. Okay, yeah, well it's a movie that Yeah,
- 22:57no one dislikes that movie. I've never met anyone to dislike that movie.
- 23:00You're first getting to know someone you want to have like a movie. N
- 23:03It's like, God, Ocean's eleven. He whenever could look at that.
- 23:06You know, it's one that I can't imagine many people disliking, and everyone
- 23:10sort of feels comfortable with it. I did this thing, this podcast with
- 23:12a friend of the pod, Charlie claus And not long ago, where we
- 23:15talked about, you know, movies that you shouldn't show on a first date
- 23:19or the you know the movies that you brought to the movie party when you're
- 23:22a teenager and everyone this movie sex? When did you bring it? You're
- 23:26a weirdo, So it's you could really kind of be fraught when it's like,
- 23:30hey, honey, let's have a movie night. You know, you're
- 23:33first getting to start to know this movie is showing me is awfully sexy?
- 23:37Why did you show me something so rybald? Yeah? But enough of that.
- 23:44Yeah, they dropped the ball a little bit with the with the cheery
- 23:48red tomatoes. I feel this episode would have been even better had it started
- 23:52with them breaking into Burns's mansion, getting caught, and then going, you
- 23:56know, two weeks earlier, Yeah, well, why it's much of these
- 24:00people? What are they? Why they breaking to Beds's mansion? And then
- 24:02then that could be telling you how they got to that point. Yeah,
- 24:04because we're starting to well not starting to see there's been the formula this way
- 24:08for a while that you have inciting incident. Okay, so this is why
- 24:12Marge doesn't have any friends. Now she's going to have friends. The whole
- 24:17Easter egg hunt at the Quimby mansion just felt kind of pointless. Well,
- 24:21this ad and this added in November two, so it's like it wasn't even
- 24:23about Easter time. It was just the best bizarre yeah yeah, which which
- 24:26is it kind of runs counter to if we're going to be talking about favorite
- 24:30moments, anything with Quimby is one of my favorite moments. We're talking about
- 24:33that shortly. But yeah, I mean having like the setup of oh my
- 24:37god, there's a highest going on, and who's doing this highest? What's
- 24:40going on? What's happening? And then three weeks earlier or something like that.
- 24:45Yes, that would be a far more entertaining an engaging way to start
- 24:48the episode in my opinion. Hey, Matt Selman, Bill, our friends,
- 24:53it was Simpsons adjacent in Geelong. Who could really help you out twenty
- 25:00minutes. I've just come up with a better episode. We're just spitball on
- 25:04here, folks, but we're on We're on target. But getting to the
- 25:08under sized story with Millhouse and Lisa whist we're discussing before let's start what the
- 25:11positive is, right, So I really enjoyed the fact that Millhouse, you
- 25:14know, he was actually swooning Lisa, like he was winning her over.
- 25:15We've never seen him actually win over Leasa he's always been in love with her,
- 25:18and she's like, oh, I'm not not now meal House. And
- 25:21even at the start of this he's like, oh, gelato for the pretty
- 25:23girl, okay, and then by the end she's almost like, may were
- 25:26you? I could sort of go for this guy's pretty cool, and then
- 25:30he pulls like a Tony soprano and he's like, ah, do you know
- 25:32she's the entree he got the main cause it looks so fucking cool in that
- 25:37moment, don't you reckon? He really does. I mean, it's it's
- 25:40one of the nicest visual gags in this episode that he's wearing those big,
- 25:42thick, thick glasses that are basically I associate him with the great Italian films
- 25:52from he was in a bunch of like great Italian movies in the in the
- 25:56sixties and seventies, and part of his look was, you know, those
- 25:59big thick, big thick frames. It's like, oh, that's nice.
- 26:03They're sort of paying tribute to, you know, the heyday of you know,
- 26:07Italian Italian style, but yeah, bitter than Julia, just the just
- 26:12the on three you're the man. I thought that was marvelous, despite the
- 26:18fact that he's a scumback playing cards with Bart at the same time. Um.
- 26:25Yeah. But the thing is, though, the next episode of the
- 26:29show is The Italian Bob, where they all go to Italy. I'm like,
- 26:33how does this happen? How do you have a side story of Lisa
- 26:34I wanted to go to Italy and the next episode they just go to Italy
- 26:37because mister Burns sends him there. I know, I mean, I guess
- 26:41I think I new in the back of my head it was coming up,
- 26:44but I watched when I watched this episode on Disney Plants, it's like,
- 26:47coming up next the Italian Bob. Wait what we just did it stuff now?
- 26:52I mean I haven't watched The Italian Bob. Yeah, I don't know
- 26:55if there's any connection between these two episodes. I can't record the being a
- 27:00reference to this, but surely, like if I'm at Simpsons HQ and I'll
- 27:03see this happening, And even if I don't even realize at the time that
- 27:07they're going to be releasing this order, but before the Italian Bob guest the
- 27:11air, I'm like, we have to at least reference this. Yeah,
- 27:15that would be some direct references. It's the fact that last week Lisa or
- 27:17she wanted to do was go to Italy and Millhouse totter Italian. This has
- 27:19to be referenced. Yeah, I mean, if if in the Italian Bomb
- 27:23you have Lisa either unable to speak Italian or just not not reference at all,
- 27:27we go on honestly, what the hell? Yeah, yeah, she'd
- 27:30better be able to speak Italian because I will be none too impressed. But
- 27:37yeah, I mean, but I like the b blud. I thought it
- 27:38was I thought kind of funny. What I thought was actually interesting was this
- 27:42was the second highest rated episode of the season. I can't imagine then promoting
- 27:47Lily as the guests would have been enough to bring in that many viewers,
- 27:49I guess to just people. I mean, I don't think she had anything
- 27:53that really sort of monumental going on in two thousand and five or in the
- 28:00thousands, like special guests are Lily Tomlin. It's like, no, I
- 28:03mean, I think he would have gone and guess Aaron Lily tom was like,
- 28:07let's know, it's good on him. Yeah, But yeah, I
- 28:10don't think she was like top lining a top rating sitcom or anything like that
- 28:14at that stay. She may have been on the West Wing at that during
- 28:17that period. I don't know, let's have all two thousand and five.
- 28:18Yeah, that was ended in two thousand and six, didn't it? West
- 28:21Wing? Quite possibly, but I don't think she was on the West Wing
- 28:23at that point though. I think she had left by that point, hadn't
- 28:26she. Oh look, she still would beat the forefront of people's minds over
- 28:30obviously, but still like to the casual Simpsons fan Simpsons audience member, she's
- 28:33not going to be enough to draw you in. But yeah, I thought
- 28:37it was interesting. Eleven point four six million people watched this episode and Marche's
- 28:41son poisoning as well, Likeveno like apparently at one point five million people didn't
- 28:45watch last week or see him a run, but they returned again for this
- 28:48week. Yeah, who knows? Who knows what's on the other channels at
- 28:52this time? Yeah? Exactly right, Yeah, back when channel changing was
- 28:55actually a thing. When he gets this sacks when I was on Let's see
- 29:00what else is on? During the ad? Hey, my favorite it's what
- 29:03were your favorite moments from the last of the Red Hat mumments? Finally,
- 29:12but I've been going am missus grandell as I mentioned, big fan of anything
- 29:18to do with Quimby. I just I like that corrupt horny dude. Yeah,
- 29:26so yeah, a glimpse into his private life, particularly seeing I think
- 29:30what what some website is called his a strange wife. I don't we've talked.
- 29:36We talked about this not long ago. Yeah, is he was he
- 29:41married? Do we ever see his wife? And next thing you know,
- 29:42we're seeing missus Quimby doing basically a Jackie Jackie onassa slash Jackie Kennedy kind of
- 29:51thing with welcome to the you know, governor or was it the mayor's mansion
- 29:56or something? Well said, he does say my seldom seeing wife. Maybe
- 29:57it was one of those things where they thought, you know, we see
- 30:00him with flusies, that's funny because you know, we know he's cheating,
- 30:03but if you see her all the time. Maybe there was a fear that
- 30:08they wouldn't see him flusing as comedy. They'd see it more as him just
- 30:12being a dirt bag, because they wouldn't want you to get because if we
- 30:15saw Homer flusing around, we'd be furious at him. But we see the
- 30:19man. We see the man doing like, oh, just just joke,
- 30:22Quimby just being a rascal, being a politician. But if we knew,
- 30:25if he, if his wife was a recurring character that we know and loved,
- 30:29we wouldn't find it funny. I don't know, maybe particularly in this
- 30:32situation where you see the actual mayor's office and yeah, you push a certain
- 30:36button, it just turns into sex. Then yeah, that's even unconsciously it's
- 30:41going to go. I guess there are consequences to his catting around, but
- 30:45still I thought it was all pretty funny. I didn't realize that that music
- 30:49that plays, you know when when missus Quimby pushes there, this is how
- 30:53he alerts his chief stuff and you know, the go go dances come out
- 30:56and you see the Austin Bowers bed and all that shit. I was like,
- 31:00oh, I've heard that music before. I should I should look it
- 31:03up, or I should try to sham it, you know, briefly while
- 31:06they're doing it. Luckily, and this is why Disney keeps checking it out
- 31:10of the park folks. Disney plus, you know, put in a little
- 31:14little subtitle saying it's called music to Watch Girls by, which is first of
- 31:18all, incredibly appropriate and secondly, what a remarkable name. Let's let's let's
- 31:26fine I'm sorry. I should have done a little research before we before we
- 31:30began. Oh is that just what the Disney The Disney subtitles just referred to
- 31:33it as music to Watch it a girls by Well, it had it had
- 31:37what do you call it? Some little music quote marks around it Andy Andy
- 31:42Williams. Wow, Nelson's favorite. Nelson's favorite. Oh my god, it's
- 31:49all coming together. The web is just you know, tightening tightny. But
- 31:52music to Watch Girls by Doug that as well something else I loved little literally
- 31:59yes done. I love when to get at it reminds me of when I'm
- 32:01I'm a Homer is a Danish or whatever? He goes there donuts donut?
- 32:07Yes, so yeah, clearly they mean I think there are all their impressions
- 32:14of literally a lift lifted from the Godfather. But two, because it almost
- 32:17seems that way that it's someone dressed in like a white suit or a white
- 32:22coat or something just going around and you know, sampling delightful treats from the
- 32:28street. Then I thought it was marvelous. But it also makes me want
- 32:30to go, Oh but literally, let me be nice to visit. You
- 32:35know, there's you know, just the streets are full of life and the
- 32:38air is full of lovely cooking smells and no, no, they're just real
- 32:42vibrancy to it is that little which is just fish and chip shop in a
- 32:47bakery, still pretty nice. Yeah, is our version of Little Italy,
- 32:52just like on Street. I reckon it must be. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:57I'm sure there are other suburbs that have shall we say, a continental or
- 33:00Mediterranean flavor to them. Yeah, well, we went to I think it
- 33:05was San Diego that had Little Italy. Maybe maybe it was San Francisco.
- 33:08It was it sounds like San Francisco, San Francisco. He's got a great
- 33:12china down and all that as well. I think it was San Francisco.
- 33:15I think it just came back from the pier, the per thirty nine whatever
- 33:19it is, and we wanted to get some gelato. But like we were
- 33:22in there, it's like no Little Italy in the engine. It's just like
- 33:24entering a new world. Like it was just it was. It was lovely.
- 33:28But my favorite episode that Fait Motion. This episode were a bit of
- 33:30an Aliens reference game over Man game over. One of my favorite quotes ever.
- 33:36But it's just like if something's going wrong, it's almost like if you
- 33:39know you're all going to die. If someone said that, you'd be like,
- 33:43ah, fuck, it is game over. But like it makes you
- 33:45happy at the same time, like a you know, sort of see the
- 33:46positive situation bit of Bill Paxson Game Over Man, Game Over. By the
- 33:52way, not to um oh, maybe to throw a shout out to another
- 33:54podcast, I mean something need all the help they can get all. I
- 33:57think this guy's doing it right for himself. But did you ever watched Smallville?
- 34:02Here and there? A couple of my mates loved that. My uncle
- 34:05Darren actually loves it. But yeah, I've heard this great if you're a
- 34:07sitting mad fan. Yeah. The actor who played young Lex Luthor in Michael
- 34:12Rosenbaum, and he's got a podcast called Inside of You where he interviews a
- 34:15lot of other actors and things like that. I saw some of the people
- 34:20that he ended up in my Algorithm the other day and I'm like, oh,
- 34:22let's have a quickly this because I mean, one of the last ones
- 34:24he did was with Michael Bean from Aliens and from the Terminator and a bunch
- 34:29of other stuff. Who's had a really interesting last couple of decades and all
- 34:34honest team and he's been had some ups and downs. So is he played
- 34:37Kyle right, He's Kyle Reeson in The Terminator, He's Hicks in Apiens.
- 34:44But he was good friends with Bill Paxson. They made five movies together,
- 34:46and a lot of talk about Paxson and that, and it's like, oh
- 34:50man, this was good. And then went through some other interviews and he's
- 34:52got Michael Rooker on there from Guard to the Galaxy and that's a that's a
- 34:57great chat as well. I mean, so, I don't know if you're
- 34:59interest didn't celebrity chats Inside of You was a pretty good one. Michael rose
- 35:02a Mound. If you're listening, I want to come on a four finger
- 35:06discount have a chat. We'd be more than happy to have you. I
- 35:07also really enjoyed the Mo payoff at the end, didn't he coming? That's
- 35:13true. It's just like a random gag of us another most suicide gagmod episode.
- 35:16And at the end because at the time I didn't even think so it
- 35:20was Mo gonna die because how's it possibly gonna get out of that situation?
- 35:22Didn't enter my mind at the end the book on top of the Hot air
- 35:24Balloon, How had this happened again? How had this happened twice? I
- 35:28was like, that's that's a funny payoff. I like it well played.
- 35:30There was also there was some other not bad payoffs in this, but we'll
- 35:34get to those when we go through the entire party. Any more brain Busters,
- 35:39Blockbuster, Brainbust the time November twenty seventh, two thousand and five.
- 35:44Montwo three have barely changed since last week, still at number one. Harry
- 35:46Potter and the gobble of the fire in number two is what the line in
- 35:51number three? What do you think is number three? The clue Brady Bunch
- 35:55vibes. I was thinking about this actually because I think there was there was
- 36:00a bit of a phase in the early two thousands where they were doing a
- 36:04lot of blended family movies. Yeah, and cheaper by the dozen. That's
- 36:08when it comes to mind. One they remade with with Steve Martin who played
- 36:14his wife. It might have been Bonnie Hunts unh Yeah, yeah, I
- 36:16think Ashton Coulcher was Actually, no, was Ashton Coulcher one of the kids
- 36:21he was in He was in a movie though, with a bunch of kids,
- 36:23wasn't he. He wasn't in that movie. No, let me,
- 36:27never looked. Maybe he was by the doesn't cast. Let's have a look.
- 36:31I'm just googling the cast here. Yeah, but I think they made
- 36:35at least two of those, and then they rebooted it recently with um,
- 36:39I want to say, Zach Braff as Dad on Disney. Plus. I
- 36:44did see that, Yeah, like, what was that as sar As I
- 36:45was at a movie. I think it was a movie. So we've got
- 36:49here. Steve Martin, Hillary Duff was apparently in it. Oh okay,
- 36:52Hillary Duff, Tom Welling, Charlie played Touch, Charlie Baker. That's small
- 36:57Ville. That's Superman from small Yeah, exactly. At all times, we're
- 37:02not planning this. This is actually happening in real time. But it's not
- 37:08cheaper by the dozen. That was this one. I think it was a
- 37:12remake of like a sixties family comedy and I think it was called Yours Mine
- 37:16and Ours was the film you nailed? It had eight kids, one had
- 37:22ten. It was like eighteen children or something. See, they don't make
- 37:25movies about this anymore now. They just do reality shows where they hunt down
- 37:30some weird ass Christians from Middle America. Apologies to weird ass Christians in little
- 37:35American. I've got all these children, that's your problem, lady, says
- 37:40a widowed Coastguard admiral and a widowed handbag designer fall in love and marry,
- 37:45much to the dismay of his eight and her ten children. Now it's Dennis
- 37:50Quaid, but I've forgotten who the is it? Renee Russo? Yes,
- 37:52correct, sure. As a mother and father and a shitload of eighteen children,
- 37:58I wonder I have any of the bunch of kids who You'll look through
- 38:02that and it's probably like, oh, you know, one of them went
- 38:05on to be on a Disney Channel thing and the rest of you know,
- 38:07I'd like holding up liquor stores. Yes, all right, well that is
- 38:09the brainbuster blockbuster what on, sir so? Yeah, still a number one
- 38:13Harry Potter Gobbler to fire when this episode aired. Number two we have what
- 38:15the line? Number three? Yours mine and ours? Next question? You
- 38:20there eating the past? Hold onto you, nick as everybody, because it's

- 40:00right, time now for some trivia, mister Davis. My first question for
- 40:05you is what do the kids have to be aware of to beware of what?
- 40:10At the Mayor's Egg Hunt? Was it rat poison? It was rat
- 40:15poison? Don't Yeah? Nice? Thank you. When Lisa is looking at
- 40:21ads on the that are pinned up on the thing, Yeah, there is
- 40:24a model of car that is not the sale. The person is clearly just
- 40:29bragging about the car that they have. Yeah, there are two thousand and
- 40:30one BMW. I think I was like, I know the joke you're making.
- 40:35Never is it a joke? I mean odd a four year old?
- 40:42Yeah yeah, someone wasn't a little in a new car. It's weird.
- 40:45My next question is how does Marge keep her hair the way it is?
- 40:47What does she use? Oh? Damn it? Think of okay? Two
- 40:52clear forward something that that's the first the first word, three words. First
- 40:58word the rock is the clue. Second word and third word is so.
- 41:02The third word is Andre is the clue, and the second word is what
- 41:07Andre lives in. Let's see you can work this out. First, first
- 41:09clue is the rock? Well, Dwight Johnson Johnson's Andre? What was Andre?
- 41:16He was a giant? No, not the giant. Who's the movie
- 41:20Andre? Oh you're talking about the seal? The seal and what a seals
- 41:25live in water? Johnson's Water Sea. It's like you're throwing in so many
- 41:34wrestling things. It's like, Oh, you're talking about Andre the Sea.
- 41:38I remember that. I've no think I've ever seen that movie. I maybe
- 41:40dicks. I think I had on VHS actually, but I'm just remembering the
- 41:44cover and it looked the most nineties thing ever. It was like a chick
- 41:45with like a fucking head on backwards and you know, cap on backwards.
- 41:50Yeah, it's like, yeah, I'm dressed like a boy. Yeah,
- 41:54just like exactly what I'm saying. All right, what's your next question?
- 42:00Homer made what out of Marge's wedding dress? Ah bad mitten nette or something
- 42:05he did which he never uses. Who left Nana Sophie with child? An
- 42:12American? Gi? Yeah? What was his name? Though I didn't say
- 42:15that he did? Yeah, he goes, he goes My uncle Bustardo.
- 42:19Oh the child? That was the child? Yeah, guy, I've got
- 42:23most question is how does this logic work? Okay, okay, okay,
- 42:27So uncle Bustardo was the child? Okay, yes, yes, yeah,
- 42:31and yes, you got any more questions for me? Um? I do?
- 42:36Um? What is the name of Burns's dog groomer? Michelle? All
- 42:42right, Michelle. Indeed, I believe that was a male too, because
- 42:45I think he says he. Oh, okay, then I was just looking
- 42:49at the subtimes where they had the l E on the end, but it
- 42:51might have been Michell. The original air day of the Last of the Red
- 42:54Hat Mums was November twenty seventh, two thousand and five. It was written
- 42:58by Joey H. Cohen and directed by doing a stuck. There was no
- 43:00chalk gag, but the couch gag is where the couch is a giant nest
- 43:04and a mother bird flies in and feeds Homer a worm. So the episode
- 43:07kicks off at the mare's Easter egg hunt and he's rarely seen. Wife.
- 43:13She says a few words and she introduces hugs Bunny, who's legally not allowed
- 43:15to hug any children. Well, we'll back up kid. Yeah, then
- 43:21we get the dumb wife the mistress, And I'm like, a guy will
- 43:22be happy you told me you were graduated from typing school. Problem with the
- 43:30space bar, it's a hard one. It's a hard one too to wrap
- 43:32your head around. And Nelson, now he's eating birds. I'm like,
- 43:37very well dressed Nelson in this scene. Did you notice that he's all hairs
- 43:39parted and he's all wearing a suit and tie. It just seemed very overly
- 43:44dressed for an Easter egg hunt. But us eats the bird bird's eggs.
- 43:50No, no, ya, Ralph, there's a whole in your basket.
- 44:01Yeah, he's his brother. This was to the point where I was like
- 44:04I'm either finished, I'm done with his character, or you need to rework
- 44:07it. Because having him just not so much of the eggs, with the
- 44:12with the hole in the bottom of the basket, but him just going you'll
- 44:14lead's brother, I'm like, oh my god, I'm done with it.
- 44:19If if you can't do anything good with it, just yeah, don't do
- 44:22anything with it. Yeah, that's that's that's thirty seconds we could have had
- 44:25for some cool highest action. It's just because the character Ralph is to have
- 44:30dignity. Now he's got it. Now he's just I don't know's it's at
- 44:34the level where you almost feel bad laughing at him. Now it's not with
- 44:37him, it's it's just it's not not not good in my opinion. But
- 44:42Maggie then she feels left out, and I've got here, I am totally
- 44:45homer here. If I saw kids stealing eggs off my daughter, it would
- 44:47be hell to pay Maggie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maggie feels very
- 44:51left out because all the kids have all the eggs and she's got nothing.
- 44:52So he starts stealing the eggs from the other kids. And I think I
- 44:55would do this on the sly, you know, I would. I would,
- 45:00you know, if a kid was going for an egg and Holly didn't
- 45:01have any, I would just fuck off, kid, You've already got one.
- 45:04I would give it the holy I'm all about sharing every kid Easter hunts.
- 45:07Every kid needs to get at least one egg, you know. I'll
- 45:08by the way, so I know, I felt horrific today, but it's
- 45:13all right, happy and happy end to this story. Sund Eli to daycare
- 45:16today, blah blah blah. Nichol sends me this message. She's like,
- 45:20I feel horrible. I'm like, why she goes today? Was the easter
- 45:22bonnet bonnet hat the eastere the easter hats that you make right. A message
- 45:28came through on the thirtieth And this is what ships me about Elliott's Daycare is
- 45:30they sent through these messages on this app just hoping that you're gonna assume that
- 45:34you're gonna read them right. Things like this put a fucking sign on the
- 45:37door so parents that don't look at the app know that no, next Monday,
- 45:39he's going to be the Easter prey where every kid wears a hat.
- 45:43They show the photo of the kids who have the hats. Allie's the only
- 45:45kid without a hat because I didn't read the app and I'm like, well,
- 45:46I didn't know, Like, it's not it is my fault, but
- 45:50I felt horrible. But they're doing it Monday through Friday every day, so
- 45:52he gets to do it another day. But I'm just like, I felt
- 45:54so bad. But a little dude's sitting there in the fucking photo. Everyone's
- 45:57at these easter hats on and he's got nothing bigs mile on his face.
- 46:00But I'm like, oh man, the poor kid. God, I would
- 46:04have loved it if he was pulling in kind of still pretty fa it would
- 46:08have been it would have been like a meme, would be would be like
- 46:10a global men kids have no hat on. Oh it's ended well, but
- 46:16I'm yeah, I'm not a fan of we send it out there an email
- 46:20or you know, it's on the portal. Yeah fuck off. Yeah,
- 46:24gods, you're fucking bottle. I saw him a kid in it out and
- 46:27that's all I'm doing. I don't read shit, but um yeah, so
- 46:30it's gonna you know, he goes back on Friday too. Who get to
- 46:31do it on Friday with all of you, all these other mates? But
- 46:34um yeah, so Homer steals the egg, gives some to Maggie, then
- 46:36hugs Bunny. He's not a fan at this, so he fights Homer,
- 46:38and then Homer uses a chuckle Bunny as a weapon. He smashes it like
- 46:42a bottle. Funny visual. I did like that, Yeah, And then
- 46:45marges on tour with I don't think the mayor's wife has a name. I
- 46:47remember she does. Let's have a look. Mayor Quimby's wife should give her
- 46:52name, missus Quimby Martha Quimby Martha. There she is. She has a
- 46:54name. That makes sense. That's scams. You are now in the mayor's
- 47:00offers. This is the switch the mayor uses to call his chief of staff.
- 47:15That concludes our tour. I feel that would be such an exhausting job
- 47:19being a go go dancer. We just paid a standard a cage, just
- 47:22dance the whole night. Be like fucking now. Could you imagine standing in
- 47:24the one spot dancing all night? Holy Christmas? No in a cage,
- 47:29let alone, listeners, how much would you pay guy Davis to go go
- 47:32dance at your function? Let us know? And then double it. Homer
- 47:38slashes through the window and he makes a scene, and the wife then says,
- 47:43there will be no tea. Now she pushes the button for security.
- 47:45You throw them all out, and then the women come out once again.
- 47:47Everyone blames Marge. Get cookie Quine here saying, you're not going to get
- 47:51any fridge makee this year with the what is it the calendar fridge, Mat
- 47:54says, because that's what real estate people usually give you. We throw those
- 47:57out anyways, you lie, We do too well, throw those things out.
- 48:01I only got to get in early. Yeah, I might use the
- 48:06first one and then never pay any attention to it. Anything that comes after
- 48:09that they'll just throw out. Yeah, but if one comes like either the
- 48:13very end of the year, it's like, here's your here's your calendar for
- 48:16twenty twenty whatever. Cool, hot damn day, good Friday? What date
- 48:27um? But otherwise, now that he's peg him throwing out almost flirting with
- 48:30Marge in bed, he's not picking up on her signals. He's embarrassed her
- 48:34once again. He's made her angry, and she says, you always ruin
- 48:37my friendships. Don't have any friends because of you. And then he says,
- 48:39you've got Lisa and the stove, And I was like, are you
- 48:42going down the wrong road? There, but he has not the bully.
- 48:45Yeah, not good, And Homer says, well, I'll have to find
- 48:47find Marge of friends, and he has a random vision of him being friends
- 48:51with a dolphin and Marge thinking that he's cheating on her with a dolphin.
- 48:53As I've written down a lot of pointless gags here, yeah, it's just
- 48:58mate at the gag coming killer. There's a gag coming up that I think
- 49:01might be the stupidest thing that I've actually seen on The Simpsons to date.
- 49:04We'll get to it, though not far away. And then we get Lisa.
- 49:08This is actually it. This is the moment. So Lisa's looking through
- 49:10some some opportunities on the on the notice board, right, and she finds
- 49:15the Rome pamphlet about you know, I guess what what is it? Is
- 49:17it? What's the trip for? Is it exchange? I don't know,
- 49:22Like, okay, I think American schools do this a bit, particular more
- 49:24in college than anything else that you do, like a year abroad or a
- 49:28semester abroad. There was a great article not long ago actually written by this
- 49:32American girl who went to Florence, Oh, Florence or Milan, but like
- 49:37an Italian city for a semester, and she basically wrote about how much it
- 49:42sucked and how much she hated it wow, and everyone just dragged. It
- 49:45was like you're in one of the most You're in this beautiful city and you're
- 49:49like, oh, and it's when to stein and do my work. And
- 49:52all my friends were saying, no, let's go to see this Italian ruin
- 49:54or maybe trysting like like nice Gilata or something. People like, you suck,
- 49:59lady, why did you go with if you didn't want to go to
- 50:01Italy? Boo boo boo? This woman boom tomatoes tomatoes, tomatoes. Sherry
- 50:09and Terry rocking up discussing twin stuff, the secret language bit. I'm like,
- 50:14this might be the stupidest shit I've ever seen on The Simpsons. I
- 50:16think that's what I meant by the pointless gag. I think, yeah,
- 50:20that's that's what I That's when I wrote down the pointless gags. Here,
- 50:23let's talk, I mean a secret twin language. And then it's like ten
- 50:25seconds of them just gone, what the fuck am I watching? What is
- 50:30this shit? It was terrible, It was terrible. It just like the
- 50:35stupidest thing ever. What don't you looking for Lisa summer opportunities. We're going
- 50:42to Twin cap Oh my god, spend that summer in Rome, Rome founded
- 50:49by Twins. By the way, Hey, where'd you go? Oh well,
- 50:52let's talk a nice secret twin language. Skinner's office and Lisas wants to
- 51:02take take him off on the opportunity for the Rome trip, and he says,
- 51:06well, one of the things is you need to be able to speak
- 51:07fluent Italian. This actually should have made one of my favorite moments. I
- 51:09liked his response. So she says, why would I live? I couldn't
- 51:14flawless logic. Flawless logic, That's that's just Harry. Sheera killing it though,
- 51:21Yeah, because that's yeah, that's just wonderful, like flawless logic.
- 51:28But unfortunately gonna have to hear you do it not now that I've got a
- 51:30meeting perhaps tomorrow. That doesn't work for me. Friday's worse than Thursday.
- 51:36Yeah, exactly what I was getting those Radio Bart vibes is very good.
- 51:38But I've got here brackets one of the positive guys just love that line so
- 51:45much. Not this line Radio Bart. The day one about Thursday. I
- 51:49said, Thursday's worthday Friday, So I don't know what get that so much.
- 51:59He's aggestions that's wise. Okay, sorry, yeah, I think you.
- 52:06I think you lost it when we did that review of Bill likely as
- 52:08well. I think Bill's like sitting there and you just like lost it.
- 52:15I said, fine, true story, but story. But then um,
- 52:25we get I forgot here in brackets. This is one of the positives of
- 52:28being a good student, is it. He can get away with the ship.
- 52:30So like her, Bart says this, He's just like, you can't
- 52:32speak Italian, but like, I like to think that skinner. He kind
- 52:36of knows that Lisa can't speak Italian, but he's given her. You know,
- 52:37I'll give you a few days. I'll give you a few days.
- 52:42Homer and Butt now at the supermarket, and he tells Bart to go to
- 52:45the shopping because he has to go find Marge of friend. He's made these
- 52:47food stamps, okay, whatever, And then we get a line here.
- 52:51I'm just like, man, this is just sad. It's like, oh,
- 52:53there's someone that could be much as friend. She looks defeated too,
- 52:55and I'm like, oh, man, And then I've got here this I
- 53:00can understand why she ran away from Homer unlike the woman that you sheard the
- 53:04other day where she's a guy approached her in the car park and she lost
- 53:06her mind at this guy, do not approach a woman in a car park.
- 53:09And I'm like, but what have you left your bag on top of
- 53:12your car? Or what did your lights were on? Or what did you
- 53:15dropped something for listeners unaware of what we're on about it. YEA, something
- 53:17I shared on Twitter was a woman had she was in her car at the
- 53:22car park, at the at the mall or whatever, and yeah, just
- 53:24did this two minute rant on this man just approached me in all this kind
- 53:29of business and do not approach women, do not approach women and gentle and
- 53:32and all he said was miss Yeah. A bunch of my mates was five
- 53:40seconds later, dude flipping through personal looks like I'm eating to night. Yeah.
- 53:45I mean, I wanted to come up with some kind of quip,
- 53:47but I just really felt sad that there was this erosion of trust. I
- 53:51mean, some of that may be justified, but some of that may be
- 53:52overreach. Yeah, so went away, but yes, this woman wholly justified
- 53:57and running away from Homer. I want to rent a small boat Faia Barca.
- 54:13I plan to dump this body in the ocean. This is what you
- 54:22get for asking questions. I've got here very old school with the old tape.
- 54:29Remember when people said learned languages like this, push play, turn tape
- 54:32over. And I've never learned a language that will language at school. But
- 54:37I've never self taught a language. Have you ever done that? No?
- 54:40And you know, part of me wonders if it's too late, you know,
- 54:45if there's all this talk about you know, you'll listen to Todd Sanson
- 54:49on what everyone's saying. No, you've brains a lot of plasticity. Still,
- 54:52you can still do shit, won't you. Yea's the things that it's
- 54:55not whether you can, it's whether you want to actually do it. That's
- 54:59true, Luya, I am honestly a believer, and that pretty much anything
- 55:02can be done if you put in the hour. It's put in the effort.
- 55:05Then she sees the lessons. The lessons add up on the up in
- 55:07the wall, along with all the others that we mentioned earlier, did like
- 55:09Martin's bike called Nelson, And she says, a river dirty ignorance. Now
- 55:15river dirty means watch mister Davis, see you later. Yeah, until I
- 55:20see you again. Goodbye, farewell, and Homer then introduces Crazy Cat Lady
- 55:23as a friend potential friend to Marge. So Marge leads and disgusted and then
- 55:28challenges her to throw a cat over the house and she does and I was
- 55:30like, all right, whatever. Marge then wanders around the streets really sad
- 55:36with everybody who playing everybody hurts yeah a song. Thats just some songs just
- 55:40managed to get you. Every time that song comes on, You're just like,
- 55:43now, I just feel sad. It's impossible to not feel sad when
- 55:46that song is one. I think it's been overused to the point where I
- 55:50mean I would have to read I would have to not hear it and forget
- 55:54about it entirely for maybe good five years, and then come back to it
- 55:59and just listen to it untainted by you know, thinking about people just sort
- 56:04of wandering around looking all sad and shit. I really like R E M
- 56:07M. I don't think it was a huge fan of that song when it
- 56:09first came out, but I'd have to hear it and oh, wow,
- 56:13this is actually really heartfelt and pointed and all that stuff, because now I
- 56:15just associated with like shorthand for like when someone's sad, I guess it's almost
- 56:20also sort of like um with without you first of me, you just hit
- 56:23it. You're like, all right, I get it. Yeah, someone's
- 56:27just point yes and i'd just walking around and she helps the lady, she
- 56:34grabs her hat and introduction to Lily and literally just brought so much positivity energy
- 56:38to this role. It's really one of those guest roles where you're just like,
- 56:40you've really just made this episode better by being involved with it, isn't
- 56:45it. Yeah, it's you, and you've elevated the material as well.
- 56:47I mean it's not it's not she's not a bad character to Tammy, but
- 56:51I mean yeah, literally just really juiced it up. Lines like that,
- 56:54you know we're gonna have Margredis and Poke fun at our husbands. That's not
- 56:58necessarily funny line, but the way literally delivers it with so much enthusiasm,
- 57:00You're like, it sounds like fun. Let's do it, you know,
- 57:05and Marge then she starts Randy about Homer and then she says save it for
- 57:07Johnny Fiesta's we come back from commercial and they're watching has been Celebrity Poker at
- 57:12VIC tay Back Motel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas. Have you ever been
- 57:15to downtown Las Vegas like that? I've ever been to Vegas at all,
- 57:19really at all. I think you may have told me this. I find
- 57:22that the one thing that I would like to do, and I've said this,
- 57:25I'm sure it has drive from La to Vegas and get to Vegas at
- 57:30dusk. I think exactly what Nicola and I did, like on the money,
- 57:35like the sun was setting as we arrived. It was bang on.
- 57:37Did we were to drop we want a drop toop? We're in a convertible,
- 57:40Yes, in a convertible yep. Yeah. It was the fucking vest
- 57:44Man. It was so good. That's what I want. We tried Carls
- 57:47Junior on the way, which I was kind of disappointed with, but I
- 57:50was just like whatever. In a similar story, the Lovely the reason I
- 57:54tried Carls Junior. We were driving back at dusk from Talquay. Not good.
- 58:00It was fine. It was Jack. It's a solid three out of
- 58:05five for me, very much. I Mean, every time I've been to
- 58:08the States, particularly the West Coast, I'll be like, oh, tell
- 58:13me go to in an out burger and yes, all right, it's too
- 58:15bad. I guess, um, I think I had five guys when I
- 58:20went to I think I either I had five guys or State or shake Shack
- 58:22when I went to New York. Like, yeah, that's pretty good.
- 58:27Honestly, I'll put the burger that I made the other day up against just
- 58:30about anything. Homemade burgers are the best. Oh yeah, but this I
- 58:35found this guy on YouTube who was who may I don't know it well,
- 58:39clearly came up on the algorithm because of my glutton but it was like trying
- 58:43to make a hallepen New cheeseburger on now one. I had recent podcast,
- 58:46think it was the King of the Hill. You're talking about how you were
- 58:49watching some guy making the chicken dish. How much how much time do you
- 58:52spend your in the day just watching YouTube food videos. I allowed myself a
- 58:57little tree. Yeah yeah, it's like I've done some work. It's like
- 59:01I got I got five ten minutes. Let's look at this guy. I
- 59:05mean that the chicken and Chips guy was a TikTok that was like okay,
- 59:08yeah yeah, but this guy, yeah, I mean it was Palapenia cheeseburger,
- 59:14but he had like a Gorgonzola mayo that he made from scratch, and
- 59:17I was like, oh my god, that looks so creamy into dis Yes,
- 59:21So we went down to goals and I got all the ingredients and made
- 59:23my own and you know, chopped up some little baby sputs and put him
- 59:27in the air fro. It made burger and chips better than five guys,
- 59:30better than shake shack. I liked the end to take it celebrity poker here
- 59:35because that was just heaverywhere at the time, remember World Series Poker, Like
- 59:37everyone was playing poker? Weren't they on too? It really was, and
- 59:40it made Yeah, it's sort of it either re booted the stardom of some
- 59:45people or have made other people. It gave some people an edge apparently,
- 59:49like Toby maguire made a made like an absolute shit ton of money, Wow,
- 59:52playing poker, maybe more than he made playing Spider Man. Well you
- 59:57have to think that, you know, actors would be good at having poker
- 1:00:00faces, right, that's true? Yeah, yeah, But I always had
- 1:00:02this This is a back dad back to high school, had this idea for
- 1:00:07like a like a Happy Gilmore esque movie but about poker, like some lark
- 1:00:12in that you know, he shouldn't be on the on the on the World
- 1:00:13Poker too gets on there somehow and all the big poker players hate him,
- 1:00:16and just classic happy Yilmo of us shouldn' McGavin style thing at the end of
- 1:00:21then the Grand Final. I just felt like that just ever wrote itself,
- 1:00:23Like if that film came out like two thousand and three, two thousand and
- 1:00:27four, who wouldn't have gone to see a happy Gilmore version of the World
- 1:00:30series? Poke, I don't you reckon? Yeah, I mean it was
- 1:00:32probably one of those Happy Madison productions that throws off to his buddies. Yeah,
- 1:00:37exactly that kind of thing. Yeah, the guy who's the star of
- 1:00:39Grandma's Boy or something like, he's you know what was his name, Alan
- 1:00:44Covid I think or something. Well, yeah, Alan Coovid is poker fist.
- 1:00:49That's his caddie, right, Yeah, Yeah, that's a good thing
- 1:00:52about Sandler. Just helps helps his buddies out, helps his birds. One
- 1:00:54of the best jobs in the world would be one of Sundler's buddies, Like
- 1:00:58that would be the best career in the world when to get to hang out
- 1:01:00with Sandler, you know, making shit movies, but getting paid a fuck
- 1:01:02un to do it having fun, or someone pointed it out because I think
- 1:01:06Murder Mystery two dropped on Netflix last saw the ad and I didn't even know
- 1:01:09there was a number one. I looked at it and I was like,
- 1:01:12I'm gonna wash this. You've got me Netflix. I think I'm going to
- 1:01:14wash this. But a reviewer I really like pointed out, it's like it's
- 1:01:16so strange that you know Marvel will take you or no, no other Netflix
- 1:01:22movies will sort of take you all around the world, like Red Notice or
- 1:01:24The Gray Men or something. And they looked like they were filmed in a
- 1:01:28warehouse with a bunch of green screens and it's Sandler Movies and actually, holy
- 1:01:31shit, they're actually in Paris. Sounds like I ain't doing shit unless you're
- 1:01:37paying for me to go to It's like you're taking me and the fam to
- 1:01:40Europe. But anyways, it's the crusty Bales on this. You know,
- 1:01:44he doesn't want to do the celebrity pokers. He's playing for charity. And
- 1:01:47Marge arrives in her sexy new red dress and she's now a junior member of
- 1:01:51the Red Hat of a Red Cheery was it red Cheery Tomatoes. And I
- 1:01:55like to look on Marge's face when she's sort of showing off a red dress
- 1:01:58she had, like a nice little she's pretty smile. Wow, mom,
- 1:02:02great red dress. For your information, I am now a junior member of
- 1:02:07the Cheery Red Tomatoes march in a gang. Who are you going to do?
- 1:02:14Shoot me with a frosting gun? Seriously? I would love that.
- 1:02:17I'm like, Hema, what are you doing? Mate? But you spent
- 1:02:21the whole time trying to find a friend, and they you're laughing at if
- 1:02:22for having friends, Like, what is happening? Maintain some consistency, please?
- 1:02:27Yeah? Yeah. They then laid the museum. She saw you.
- 1:02:29You guys had to make fun out of everything. And then they're leaving the
- 1:02:31Museum of Suffering. And then Millhouse arrives to teach Lisa. She doesn't believe
- 1:02:36that it's going to be him as short thing Bart told you about it.
- 1:02:37You're just pretending and um no, he says that, you know, every
- 1:02:42summer for two weeks he's sent to Italy, where he lives. He's Nanna,
- 1:02:45I'm the tutor of the company, sent over. I'm here to teach
- 1:02:49you, La Lingua musica, you really speak Italian. See my grandmother,
- 1:02:55Nana Sophie, lives in Tuscany. Since I was a baby, I spent
- 1:03:00two weeks there every summer. Nana hated English because in World War two at
- 1:03:06GI left her with child my uncle Bethstarto. Nana only spoke Italian to me.
- 1:03:12Questi in meo caubino olivea. I love you, Nana whoa idiota.
- 1:03:22Every time I spoke English, he hit me, he didiota, I'm sorry,
- 1:03:29I'm so stupid Milhouse mussolin ivan Houtiano idiota who I felt sorry for little
- 1:03:43Millhouse here. I love you Nana Idiota. I'm sorry. I'm doing some
- 1:03:47idiota and I'm like, oh man, poor little Millhouse. Nana Sophie is
- 1:03:52just getting getting the job done. And that's where he's um. That's where
- 1:03:53his bed wedding started. As a child who as someone who went the bed
- 1:03:58till I was like eleven years old. I wonder what because I didn't want
- 1:04:00the bed. I started with the bed again when I was like five five
- 1:04:03through like eleven. There must have been some memory that happened, something that
- 1:04:08happened to me at that point that caused me to wet the bed, because
- 1:04:11you'd have to think that's where all stems from, right, something that not
- 1:04:15tragic, or just something that's sort of playing on your mind. It's causing
- 1:04:16anxiety or something. Well, yeah, just some sort of switch that gets
- 1:04:19flipped in your head or a little bit of wiring that gets crossed or whatever.
- 1:04:23I mean, I don't even know it necessarily. I mean, actually
- 1:04:26know I shouldn't say, because I'm not an expert on this matter. But
- 1:04:29it may not even have to be in things sort of dramatic. It might
- 1:04:30just be, like you know, it might be just a degree of comfort.
- 1:04:35Yeah, yeah, no, But it did not ruin my childhood by
- 1:04:39any means. I had a great childhood, but it prevented me from experiencing
- 1:04:43a lot of things because of my fear of people finding out that I went
- 1:04:45to bed. So I'm share out to all your people out there the bed
- 1:04:46when your kids, I know what you were going through. But also shout
- 1:04:49out to my main man, Alliot, guess what he started doing last week?
- 1:04:53Every time now he poos on the toilet, Nice one, eliot.
- 1:04:57J O'Neill of the Simpsons podcast, Oh, we're talking about other room.
- 1:05:01We had so many people telling us, you know, he's gonna be starting
- 1:05:04school next year, you've got to make him pool on the toilet. You've
- 1:05:05got to start four. You're start put you know, pushing him to use
- 1:05:09the toilet. Do you know this when you know? When you you well,
- 1:05:11by the time you were three, you were pulling in on the toilet.
- 1:05:14I'm like, he's four and a half now, and I'm like,
- 1:05:15Nicola kept saying to me, he will do it when he's ready. I
- 1:05:18was like, and I'll start to sort of be convinced by all these people
- 1:05:21saying no, You've got to start making him pull it. And then one
- 1:05:24time I said, come on, let's try on the toilet. He's like,
- 1:05:26no water and I was like, all right, then going your nappy
- 1:05:29and like we're being judged. I was like, where's alliotm I He's pulling
- 1:05:30his Nappy're like, oh, okay, sure. And then one day he
- 1:05:34just went, I have to do a pooh and he went and put on
- 1:05:38the toilet and he was like, I put on the toilet. It was
- 1:05:41like, so proud of myself. I gave him a toy. It was
- 1:05:44just so proud of himself. Except now he thinks every time he pushes on
- 1:05:46the toilet gets a toy. He doesn't now, but but you know,
- 1:05:49this is the thing. He was so proud of himself, and I was
- 1:05:51just it's so lovely as a parent seeing them have those like leaps where he's
- 1:05:57just like, we didn't we didn't cross one more off the list, cross
- 1:06:00the list. So all your parents out there, if your kids still pulling
- 1:06:01your nappies and they're like four or five, Allet was he's five in July,
- 1:06:04so he's like over four and a half, don't panic. They something
- 1:06:09just flicks, switches, flicks, and they just decided. Ali just decided
- 1:06:11one day he's gonna pull on the toilet and he was done. He just
- 1:06:13had to overcome that fee because one time he did pull on the toilet and
- 1:06:15the water touched his ass and he was like, that's it, I'm done.
- 1:06:17Like it scared him. But then you know he's just he's pulling on
- 1:06:20the toilet now. It just it just happened. Would never do anything,
- 1:06:23he just decided. So you know, new parents out there, just don't
- 1:06:27panic if your kids shitting in nappies. They will eventually use the toilet.
- 1:06:29It will all be fine. Don't listen to all that outside noise of what
- 1:06:31your child has to do. Your child doesn't have to do anything. Shout
- 1:06:34out to Elliott well down, Shout out to Elliott. Yes so Yes,
- 1:06:39Paul little millhouse here. He spent two weeks in Italy with his Nanna,
- 1:06:42which I'm assuming he would have been nice, except he got slapped around every
- 1:06:44time he spoke English. But that's how he learned how to speak Italian.
- 1:06:46The Red Cherry Tomatoes and drop off Marge. Tammy drops her off anyway,
- 1:06:49and they send her a text message you rock. And she feels very very
- 1:06:53proud of herself, and she feels very included, and she's feeling happy.
- 1:06:56And this is actually a nice moment where she walks on the door and home
- 1:06:59as a sleep with a little notes saying, I hope you had fun.
- 1:07:00I'm like what you mentioned consistency. I'm like, how have you had him
- 1:07:04being a dick this whole time? And now he's just sitting down his pj's
- 1:07:08with I hope you had fun? Like, can we just have this home?
- 1:07:11Please? Just just give us this home. Surely you can set up
- 1:07:15the fact that Marge wants friends without having to have Homer beat a dick like
- 1:07:17it could there could be other ways of doing this, but yeah, do
- 1:07:20you think so? Yeah? Middlehouse then arrives and Lisa has some flash cars
- 1:07:25prepared, because you know that's Lisa's I've very much like Lisia regard where I
- 1:07:29like to be prepared and overly prepared for everything. But he rips them up.
- 1:07:31I love this. You don't learn Italian, you live Italian. And
- 1:07:36also takes me a good forearms strength by forearm and wrisk strength from Millhouse ribbon
- 1:07:42to get ribbon out that list of flash cards. It was indeed fairly thick
- 1:07:45pile. They'd ride the scooter through little Italy and he's like a guide there
- 1:07:48and you orders one gelato for the pretty girl. Luigi apparently doesn't speak Italian,
- 1:07:53just speaks the fractured English that's what his parents English. And then they
- 1:07:58arrive home. I thought the sun said they had here was quite nice.
- 1:08:00You mentioned how you know, driving at Vegas when the sun was setting.
- 1:08:03Here it's just sort of nice music. And they arrive home sunset. She
- 1:08:06gives him a kiss on the cheek and I'm like, oh, sparks are
- 1:08:09flying. Then Nelson punches him in the stomach for sea, don't be in
- 1:08:12love stupid, And I'm like, this actually makes sense because Nelson sort of
- 1:08:15like still as a thing for Lisa. He can't win. Yeah, and
- 1:08:18also, yeah, you're right about Nelson here. Marge is then skydiving and
- 1:08:24they say to it, we'll have a surprise for you when we hit the
- 1:08:26land. They do like a little what's a call? When yeah, I
- 1:08:28don't synchronize the synchronized skydiving. I guess you would say, I guess or
- 1:08:32yeah, like we all hold hands and form the circle. That's what I
- 1:08:35know. The one. Yeah, I'm trying to I don't know if it's
- 1:08:38got an actual name, but yeah, you see it all the time when
- 1:08:40people in the group skydiving. It's like, oh yeah, it's like fun.
- 1:08:43I've never skydive. I still want to do it. I would like
- 1:08:45to do it, but I won't do it. I just I'm just too
- 1:08:48scared. That's one. That's one thing I don't think I'll ever be able
- 1:08:51to make myself do a skydive. Yeah. I think I just hated if
- 1:08:56I was like, uh, you know the first time I did it,
- 1:08:58it's like, yeah, the ground about ah MUSHes, I really shouldn't have
- 1:09:01done this. This was stupid. Yeah, stupid, stupid, stupid.
- 1:09:05Idiota, idiota, Why do you want to do? You want to scot
- 1:09:12But yes, this is where Mo falls through the circle and which pays off
- 1:09:16at the end. You think he's trying to commit suicide, which he is.
- 1:09:19Where he came from, I don't know was above them, Marge Simpson,
- 1:09:25we hereby induct you as a full member of the Cheery Red Tomatoes.
- 1:09:35I feel a happiness I've never felt. I not only have friends, I
- 1:09:40have a hat to prove it. Now, Marge, as a full member,
- 1:09:44you get to share in all our secrets, like a recipe for my
- 1:09:46apple pie. The secret is it's got apples in it. And now we
- 1:09:50can tell you the secret plans for our fundraiser this year. We're gonna steal
- 1:09:55one million dollars from mister Burns. You're choking. You've got to be choking.
- 1:10:10You're not joking. Any other surprises. I'm not a natural redhead.
- 1:10:17Then we come out a commercial and Marge says that, you know, I
- 1:10:19just can't do it. You know, I'd love to be part of this
- 1:10:21team, but I just cannot do this. And I explain how he promised
- 1:10:25money to the children's hospital, much like the Good Friday appeal here and yes,
- 1:10:30and he rather than donate the money at the last minute, he decided
- 1:10:33to keep himself alive for a further ten minutes by using all that million dollars
- 1:10:38and he releases the hounds. I'm just like, this is a pretty dick
- 1:10:41move by Burns to put on this whole elaborate you know, events and everything
- 1:10:45and then go, actually, I've changed my mind. But they say that
- 1:10:48he's got twelve Faberge eggs. Are they really worth that much money? I
- 1:10:54think egg's worth a fair bit. Again, tying into the whole unifying theory
- 1:10:58of fourthing of this game. We mentioned Oceans eleven before in Oceans twelve,
- 1:11:02which I think came out around two thousand and five, it's all about the
- 1:11:06theft of the faber j a egg. I think they got they cost a
- 1:11:10fair bit, or they're worth a fair bit. Surely this isn't meant to
- 1:11:13be their take on Oceans twelve, right, because it's nothing. No,
- 1:11:15absolutely not. You wouldn't think so anyway, But um, but yeah,
- 1:11:19they need Marges skills and I've got here. Ah, Okay, so they're
- 1:11:25using her too. So it's just like, oh, they didn't really want
- 1:11:27to be friends of Marge. They just saw her and and her skills,
- 1:11:30the fact that she's skinny. I'm like, really, that's it, Like
- 1:11:33it's just so lame anyway, but they she agrees to do it because they
- 1:11:38say, bare heir, we're gonna take your hat away, and Stanley drops
- 1:11:41down. They threaten it. You better do it, we say. Homer
- 1:11:44is then watching Fox Sports West two Classic Fox Sports Fox, which is funny.
- 1:11:47It's actually kind of like that. Now there's so many Fox Sports channels.
- 1:11:49It's Adams World. It's one of the best jokes in in Dodgeball in
- 1:11:55the Dodgeball movie that they've got it's airing on their channel? Was it?
- 1:12:00P ESPN eight The Ocho the Ocho Marge and sneaks out. She says he's
- 1:12:04gonna be bird watching, But I was like, why would she be going
- 1:12:08on bird watch? She left this guy to birds and home learns the road
- 1:12:11run as a real. Then Lisa's singing about Mellhouse and she's you know,
- 1:12:14gushing over him. She bles him a kiss, and then she goes outside.
- 1:12:16And this is the thing though, Marge sneaks out at night, but
- 1:12:20then we cut to Lisa going outside and it's daytime. I had noticed that
- 1:12:26very sharp down though, and also very dull and bluntwitted on the part of
- 1:12:30the Simpsons people, who really dropped the ball with that one. But he's,
- 1:12:34um, yeah, she's she goes at the back, and before he
- 1:12:38discussed this Mealhouse is out there with Antietica. I love to watch you walk
- 1:12:41away or whatever it is. It's just like seeing Mealhouse. Beer boss is
- 1:12:45always fun. New house. Just what is going on? Run along,
- 1:12:49Angilica, Nana too fast, Lise, Lise, she is the upper die
- 1:12:59sort. You are the main course. Don't a cat conquest Squandrina, Lisa,
- 1:13:10you're speaking perfect Italian gatty. Homer is going through Marge's clippables and capables
- 1:13:24a little what's what's these? What is fault? Minila? Is Manila folder?
- 1:13:28Oh you're a little Manila folder, filing cabinet? Yeah, a few
- 1:13:30of those. Got office works and get those occasionally when you're thinking time to
- 1:13:34get my people work cooking, and it's it's fun coming up with the names
- 1:13:39for each Tabit's like, oh, what will I call this one? Brick
- 1:13:42a brac whatnot? Yes, what's not? And he finds highest plans from
- 1:13:48mister Burns's mansion. Why she's got that? I have no idea how much
- 1:13:51plans does this need? Marge sneaks through. Hey, Marge don't know what
- 1:13:56her job was until she got there, So how does she have the highest
- 1:13:58plans? I don't care. That's because you've got to keep the story moving.
- 1:14:02Then leave their mansion and they have a banded conversation about his knees being
- 1:14:06back tomorrow from the shop, and then the cherry red tomatoes and sneak through
- 1:14:11the drain and they say Marge is the only one skinny enough to squeeze through
- 1:14:13this vent to go through and open up the door. And it's like,
- 1:14:15okay, so that's her special talent being skinny. I'm looking at it.
- 1:14:17I'm like, she's not that much skinnier than anyone else on his team.
- 1:14:20Whatever, it's it's the strangest thing. Homer is then on his way to
- 1:14:25stop March from doing something reckless and irresponsible, and as he's doing that,
- 1:14:28he smashes through the art fair and then we get another random moment here.
- 1:14:30So the police seems to fly past right like we're going to chase him.
- 1:14:33Eddie, you get out in direct traffic, and I'm like, why is
- 1:14:36Eddie directing traffic? Well? Why what? What? The lights were working?
- 1:14:42Like the lights went from green, yellow, red. Home went through
- 1:14:45a red light. Then weim goes we have to follow him. Eddie get
- 1:14:48out in direct traffic. I'm like, and they sit there watching direct traffic.
- 1:14:53I just don't understand. I don't understand. If he directed them to
- 1:14:57drive through the traffic so they can get through like stop cars and going so
- 1:15:00that the place could follow how much of Burns's mansion. That would be one
- 1:15:02thing, But I didn't do that. They sit there and gush at him
- 1:15:05tasing super us. It's just this last act is random. Man, No,
- 1:15:11man, I didn't write this episode, but it's no good. I
- 1:15:15got the combination from Burns after I let them feel me up during the depression.
- 1:15:18Zero to the right, zero to the left, back to zero.
- 1:15:33Why'd you wanted to save you from the cops? But the cops followed me.
- 1:15:38Came over, man, came over. So are you going to introduce
- 1:15:43me to your friends? The word mister Burns. We'll get to the bottom
- 1:15:48of this. Excuse me, low I'm supposed to say that acting like the
- 1:15:53chief doesn't make you the chief. It's acting like the chief. I need
- 1:15:57size fifty eight pants. All here we going with the fat jokes. You
- 1:16:00know, I just wish you could hit the easy targets on the firing range.
- 1:16:02So well, hallo, why do we hurt each other? So?
- 1:16:08Because sometimes it's easier to be cruel than to say what you really feel.
- 1:16:13Permission to hug, Chief, Permission granted, granted, lou Baker, Chief,
- 1:16:19do enough. While you morons are canoodling, someone's burgling my miscellanea.
- 1:16:29Try to take my eggs, will you? Well? This rooster has a
- 1:16:33beak, a beak which calls out death the doodle doo way. You're old
- 1:16:40women, I'm not, I suppose, but it's certainly bucksam and flirty.
- 1:16:45Oh well, I try to have a good time. All I wanted to
- 1:16:49do was join a group of women who wore the same outfits, who no
- 1:17:01jury and knows will convict a bunch of moist aid mothers. Now, I'll
- 1:17:04tell you what, ladies, give me my eggs back and a little gool.
- 1:17:10This is one thing, though, a bunch of women all crying.
- 1:17:12He's right, no jury is going to convict them. No jury's convicting the
- 1:17:15ship, and burns and says, right, let me take the eggs and
- 1:17:18we'll forget this ever happened. And then Marge has actually kept an egg in
- 1:17:21her hair, the hair that tell me you didn't like that. They didn't,
- 1:17:29yea, So it's an arsenal call back. So she gives them the
- 1:17:30egg and then they say, just to be safe, we can never see
- 1:17:33each other again, and they have a line of Marge saying I'll never forget
- 1:17:38the three activities we all did together, and I'm like, I get the
- 1:17:41joke there, but that joke's also telling the list of the viewer at home
- 1:17:44that all this ship was pointless. There's meant nothing. Yeah, it's meant
- 1:17:47nothing. And then I was like, you always have the one friend who
- 1:17:51loves you body and soul. And I'm like, what the hell is going
- 1:17:54on here? My hope has been a ship had the whole episode, and
- 1:17:57now he's wide actual thing written down here. I'm sorry, Yeah, that
- 1:18:01sucks. I don't know if they're expecting us to go, Oh, that
- 1:18:05is right. Homer is the one who truly cares. It's like, no,
- 1:18:09I don't think he does. And at the end of the day she
- 1:18:12still has no friends though, and then there's a certain special thing that only
- 1:18:18I can do, which is apparently booking your breakfast on a hot air balloon.
- 1:18:21Whatever. And then we get mo landing on top of the balloon at
- 1:18:25the end, which which was a nice which was a funny payoff because it's
- 1:18:28just out of the blue. I didn't see it coming out of left field.
- 1:18:31So yeah, the episode was. I enjoyed the Marge, enjoyed the
- 1:18:34Lisa and Millhouse story. The episode again, I feel like this is a
- 1:18:39thing now. The story there handled better would have been far more enjoyable,
- 1:18:45entertaining. Make this heist worthy, make this about a highst. This whole
- 1:18:48episode shouldn't been about the highst. You spent too much time at the fucking
- 1:18:53Easter egg hunt. You spent too much time at Matt Marge being depressed and
- 1:18:56sad. Get to the point, have I don't know whatever? Whatever?
- 1:19:03What do we learn Palmer? All right, what do you learn from this
- 1:19:06episode? Mister Davis? If I'm going to walk around feeling depressed, don't
- 1:19:10do it to rise everybody hurts. What is your depressed? Your depressed.
- 1:19:14What is your song? They're sort of like, it's not pure. What
- 1:19:17what's like? I sin could say what song makes you sad? Then what's
- 1:19:19the song that whatever you hear you go kind of reminds you of sad?
- 1:19:23Shitt of mixed feelings about this one. It's sort of it's sort of makes
- 1:19:28me feel a little bit sad, but by the end of it, I'm
- 1:19:30kind of lifted out a little bit. And song called Wonderful Life by a
- 1:19:32guy named Black came out in like nineteen eighty six or nine eighty seven,
- 1:19:36so I was right in the midst of being, you know, teen,
- 1:19:40not emo, but you know, you know what it's like when you're sixteen
- 1:19:43or seventeen, you can not you you're a perpetually sort of cheerful and optimistic
- 1:19:45person. But you know, sometimes when new teen is like life, nobody
- 1:19:53understands me. Is it ever going to get any better? Just getting something
- 1:19:59livings shit out of me. The Sun came out at roughly that period,
- 1:20:04and you know, it's this guy's got to be quite a nice voice,
- 1:20:08and near seeing the film flip, he's sort of it's in shot him black
- 1:20:11and white and he's moving around this Overcome length and I was looking overcame.
- 1:20:14This guy's a bit like me. And every once in a while I'll put
- 1:20:17it on. It's like it'll take me back to that time. But you
- 1:20:21know, it's got a little bit of a melancholy undertoned to it. But
- 1:20:25then it sort of lifts up a little bit the end, not in a
- 1:20:27huge wave, but it's like, yeah, yeah, that's my life.
- 1:20:29It's not so bad. You know, I'm saying it's a wonderful life,
- 1:20:31and I'm being slightly ironic, but by the end, I actually sort of
- 1:20:33believe it a little bit. So I'll put a link to it on the
- 1:20:38Facebook page for the Petreons. Yea um, but yeah, that's that's probably
- 1:20:43my gray mood song. Mine, as strange as it is is Happy Christmas
- 1:20:48War is Over by John Lennon, and it's and it's because so my uncle
- 1:20:54Noll was killed at work in two thousand, just before Christmas time. It
- 1:20:58was like December December six actually it was, and like he was like my
- 1:21:01hero, like idolized Michael Noll, and like his death hadn't quite hit me
- 1:21:05yet, Like I don't really like i'd cried stuff like that, but I
- 1:21:08hadn't properly grieved about it yet. And at that time at primary school,
- 1:21:12I was in grade six and my job at the school assemblies each Monday morning
- 1:21:15was too. I was in charge of projecting random things. I don't know
- 1:21:18whether other schools did this, but we had to teach you go mister Warren
- 1:21:21who said this is part of the things that he introduced at the school.
- 1:21:24We used to have the big white board thing with the projective and we used
- 1:21:27to project lyrics up onto there of songs, and the whole school wud sing
- 1:21:30songs together every Monday morning is part of the assembly. I don't know whether
- 1:21:32other schools did there, but it's fucking cool man. I missed sing like
- 1:21:35popular. It was. It was great warning experience. I look back now,
- 1:21:39I think fuck mister Warren was a champion. But anyway, every Christmas
- 1:21:42we would always play heavy Christmas war was over. I was always just like,
- 1:21:44oh yeah, it's kind of like our as a live change symbolized the
- 1:21:48end of the year, you know, all those kind of thing, right,
- 1:21:50And I was remember put lyrics up and as soon as they fucking so
- 1:21:55this is Christmas, and I just it broke me. I was like and
- 1:21:57that's when I first properly. It reminds me of Uncle Noel passing away.
- 1:22:00I remember like going to a room and crying, and I was shout out
- 1:22:02to this girl called Shannis MacArthur. She was a girl at school who wasn't
- 1:22:06necessarily friends with, but she saw that I was crying upset and left the
- 1:22:10room. And she was the only one who got up out of the school
- 1:22:12teachers included, and went actually came and saw make sure I was okay.
- 1:22:15She shout out to Santa Shanis, if you're ever listening out there. But
- 1:22:17yeah, that song reminds me of that moment. So every time I hear
- 1:22:20I'm just like, ah, yeah, next, even though it's a great
- 1:22:24song and I loved and I just can't listen to that something that reminds me
- 1:22:26of that moment. It's weird. Now. I got one or two other
- 1:22:29ones like that as well. I mean, there's Ben Folds five song called
- 1:22:31Luckiest Okay that's really quite romantic. A lot of people play it, you
- 1:22:36know, when they're walking down the alb I think it kind of came out
- 1:22:41around the time my marriage was breaking down. Yeah, no, it'd be
- 1:22:45nice if this was the case, but sadly it's not. Yeah, it
- 1:22:48makes sense. Yeah, n forward your name troll me all right, mister
- 1:22:54Davis. On a more positive note, it is time for the Guy Davis
- 1:22:57New Name Championship four season seven team with the current leaderboard standing at this in
- 1:23:03first position, we have one Luke McKay on nine points. We have Nora
- 1:23:09Coca on five points in second position, and in third position we have a
- 1:23:13one two, three, four five way tie with Garrod harrow Hill, David
- 1:23:16Mott, Ryan Dunlap, heat Appleby and Fergus Chefs. Take it away?
- 1:23:20What do we got this week, mister Davis? Right? Oh well,
- 1:23:24one point goes to a friend in greed. Oh I like that. That
- 1:23:30would be heat Appleby on he's now on how many points? Oh, he's
- 1:23:34now he's now outright third, Well done, Heath. That will be outright
- 1:23:38third on four points while played, sir, clearly we like those apples.
- 1:23:43Two points to rotten tomatoes. That is Mark boston Burgess with his first points
- 1:23:48of the season. Well played, Mark boston Burgess. You got Boston point
- 1:23:53back. M hmmm, and three points goes to Hoist leaders. It's awesome
- 1:24:00because it's funny. I just watched um it's like, you know, the
- 1:24:03The Last Great Decade or something about the nineties. It was, and I
- 1:24:05think it's on Netflix. That's kind of it's one. It's pretty corny,
- 1:24:09but it has a whole section about Vanilla Ice and how he's sort of took
- 1:24:12the world by storm and then like it was just gone. It was just
- 1:24:15like he's just out of here. Well, I didn't really see David mcdonna.
- 1:24:17I didn't real he David mcdonna. Yeah, he's in mcdonna's sex book.
- 1:24:20Yeah, and that's why he left her. He's like, he's like,
- 1:24:23I opened a book and I was in the sex book and I was
- 1:24:25like, I don't want to be part of this ship. And he's like,
- 1:24:28and the thing is, I looked at him, like he's angry because
- 1:24:31he was in her sex book. I'd be angry because the sex book exists.
- 1:24:34That's why it's fucking you're licking people's feet and storm like you just naked
- 1:24:41with all these dudes. Like that's would have me. He was just pissed
- 1:24:44off because he was in the book and he didn't he didn't know he was
- 1:24:45going to be in the book. That's what he says, anyway, it's
- 1:24:48just hilarious. I mean it's yeah. I mean, I size baby just
- 1:24:50really took the world by storm for a little bit. And it was a
- 1:24:56B side, It wasn't even and he didn't even ask Queen for permission to
- 1:25:00use He just used it. But it became so hot that you know,
- 1:25:06he got his own, you know, starring role in a movie. Cool
- 1:25:10as Ice, Switch is gold awful. Um, and that was it.
- 1:25:15That was it for the Vanilla Ice. I think he got advantage after that.
- 1:25:18I mean there's the urban legend, which is probably actually true. The
- 1:25:23record company big wig and they discussed this Sugar Night just hung him out,
- 1:25:30hung him out of a window until I signed over the rights to the song
- 1:25:33or something. Yeah, that's where we started death Row Records. That's what
- 1:25:35he says in the doc. He's like, you know, my legacy now
- 1:25:40is that death Row Records wouldn't have existed if I didn't make that song.
- 1:25:42That's what he says. So he says that they came into his room and
- 1:25:47gave him and basically just said to him they sold it to him. It
- 1:25:50was the best idea for him to sell it to them. And I'm like,
- 1:25:54I don't buy that for a second, Boddy, No motherfucker is coming
- 1:25:56into your room and just explaining a situation where you're signing over the rights to
- 1:26:00the song. What do you get out of that? Nothing? Either a
- 1:26:05stupid idiot or you're in a situation where was there a life or death?
- 1:26:08Which in that's in that occasion I can understand. I think you hung out
- 1:26:12a winnow. Sorry, did we say who gave its high sized ladies?
- 1:26:15Oh? We didn't, you know? Sorry? That's a clever Kyle.
- 1:26:18Kyle muldoon with the three points. Clever Kyle. Yeah, that's Kyle's first
- 1:26:25points four this season so far. Well, playing some newbies this week.
- 1:26:28I like it. I've seeing it all getting shared around. The field opens
- 1:26:30up, the race heats up nice. So first position still Luke McKay nine
- 1:26:34points, second position nor A Coco and five and third Heath applebeet on four
- 1:26:41here, all right, mister Davis. A couple of quick mail bag questions
- 1:26:45before we wrap this bad boy up? All right, first one here comes
- 1:26:49on this episode. Yeah, we've been waffling on about a lot of ship
- 1:26:53Andrew JP, how do you celebrate Easter? Growing up? It was a
- 1:26:56Solomon respectful occasion, going to Mass at least twice that weekend. Now it's
- 1:26:59about relaxed, watching rugby league and eating a lot of chocolate. And we
- 1:27:00pretty much explain this at the start. That is correct. Yeah, my
- 1:27:05good Frida as always. Yeah, hunt down the best hot cross buns.
- 1:27:09You can have them with a nice cup of coffee. Get some fish and
- 1:27:13chips. Because I'm Catholic, sometimes I would make my own, but usually
- 1:27:16I will just go to the fish and chip shop. Um, watch a
- 1:27:19bunch of movies. Just enjoy the peace and quiet of the most peaceful day
- 1:27:25of the year except for Jesus. I love them. I love the panic
- 1:27:29that kicks in aut like seven pm on Thursday when everyone realized the supermarket's going
- 1:27:31to be shut for one day. Yeah, it's forgot no milk and bread.
- 1:27:39It's like COVID all over again. Yeah all right. Mark Boston Burgess
- 1:27:43says, what clubs have you, guys or have you chaps been in?
- 1:27:45I'n't ever been part of football clubs, played football? What about you?
- 1:27:49You're I know you were you in rowing? Were you in a rowing club?
- 1:27:53Is that all right? I rode at school? Yeah, I mean
- 1:27:58I don't think I was actually part of it, like a row club.
- 1:28:00I was part of the I was part of the Goosebumps fan club. If
- 1:28:02that's a that's a club that we can talk about. I mean, I
- 1:28:08love the idea. I like the idea of a club, but at the
- 1:28:10same time, I love the idea of being around like minded people. Yeah,
- 1:28:15into the same ship that you are. Hey, the fourth Finger discamp
- 1:28:16page you on a group on Facebook. That's a cool club to be a
- 1:28:18part of. It's the coolest clubhouse in town. Yeah. If you guys
- 1:28:23aren't a part of that yet, make sure you support us here at the
- 1:28:26channel and join us here and you can banter with guy myself on a daily
- 1:28:29basis and all the other lovely patrons in that channel as well. All right,
- 1:28:33Andrew Swan, If you could have the chance to be involved in one
- 1:28:36caper, oh, I love a cape caper way caper for the most unusual
- 1:28:41item and get away with it. What would you want to heist? I
- 1:28:45think it'd be like some piece of like random fucking movie memorabilia, like just
- 1:28:49something stupid, like the phone box from Bill and Ted. Yeah, it's
- 1:28:55it's it's not a good movie, but I like the idea behind it.
- 1:28:59I think it was cool fan boys. Okay, And it was before a
- 1:29:03Phantom Menace came out, and there was one like this group of lifelong Star
- 1:29:11Wars devotees, one of them was terminally ill, and it's like, okay,
- 1:29:15well, we're gonna drive to you know, Marin County or whatever it
- 1:29:17is where Skywalker ranches, and we're gonna break in and we're gonna steal the
- 1:29:21you know, the thumb drive that's got the workprint of Phantom Menace on it,
- 1:29:26so our buddy can watch it before he dies. That's fucking cool,
- 1:29:29man. That's cool. That's that's a nice idea. That's not too bad.
- 1:29:31That's not gonna happen. It's cool. It's it's a fun caper.
- 1:29:34Yeah yeah, yeah, I mean, I think the movie was, to
- 1:29:38the best of my recogencition, was garbage. It wasn't It wasn't like a
- 1:29:42real movie. It was a fake movie. No, no, it was
- 1:29:44a movie. But I thought you meant like it was just a bunch of
- 1:29:45actual Star Wars fans made a home movie about then trying to break No,
- 1:29:49no, no, no, this was like a legitimate movie. Oh okay,
- 1:29:51Okay. I thought it was just like a legit thing. I'm like,
- 1:29:54that's fucking cool. These guys are doing this for their friend. But
- 1:29:56anyway, I saw like the story, the premise sounds good. But yeah,
- 1:29:59the ex was good. The movie was not that great. The fact
- 1:30:01that I've never heard of it said something when I'm a big Star Wars fan.
- 1:30:03But yeah, that's that's that's that sounds fun, all right, Georgie,
- 1:30:09This poor fucker who's got some terminal disease having to suck it up.
- 1:30:15Ago, No, it was great. It was everything I ever Fucking Charger.
- 1:30:20I hope that's how the movie ends. I hope he gets forced to
- 1:30:23watch. It's terrible. It's George Lucas go to this guy's graves, break
- 1:30:30into my house. You would watch jargea fuck you you're dead Brick. By
- 1:30:35the way, Um, I don't think in the most recent episode, but
- 1:30:39the episode before it of the Mandalorian, which we should be talking about,
- 1:30:45I'd take it like a Mandalorian, But it's not that good this season.
- 1:30:47It's um It's it's possible, isn't it. Yeah, it's just okay,
- 1:30:51um, but they had um the actor who sort of motion captured work was
- 1:30:56for Jarja Banks are going named Ahmed Best? Who was? Who was?
- 1:31:00He was the guy who rescued Grogu, not the most recent episode, but
- 1:31:03the one before and they had a bit of a flashback. I think it
- 1:31:05was on Correcciant. Oh yes, okay, I know you're talking about now.
- 1:31:09Yes, he rescue Grogu, put him in the in the little sidecar
- 1:31:12on the on the space motorcycle and did the mid air flight through the city
- 1:31:16or whatever. That was the guy who did Jargearry. He was quite cool.
- 1:31:20Yeah, actually not a little shout out, you know, yeah,
- 1:31:24you handle the dual Lightsabe was pretty well and was like, yeah, you
- 1:31:28actually go this guy a bit because you know, you connected one of the
- 1:31:31most aided characters in popular culture. You know, give give him a bit
- 1:31:35of a throw him a bit of a bone. And the guy who played
- 1:31:39Darth Maul is one of the biggest Star Wars nerds of all time. He
- 1:31:41does like a he has like YouTube videos where he does like trivia on some
- 1:31:44popular ray park ray Park A little yeah, yeah, I was about to
- 1:31:47say the little guy because you know, I could kick the shit out of
- 1:31:49me, but he's not a big guy, is he not? Okay,
- 1:31:51yeah, I know. Michael Darren tells me he watches him all the time.
- 1:31:54Apparently just knows everything about Star Wars, which is pretty cool. But
- 1:31:56we'll say that the last two episodes of Mandeloran have been a big improvement from
- 1:31:59the first view, okay, because it was one that was like, um,
- 1:32:03it wasn't even Mandalorian Center it was it was really more like and or
- 1:32:08the thing where they had the guy who was the one of the scientists who
- 1:32:13was experiment on Grogo and then he's like, oh, I used to work
- 1:32:16for the Empire, but now I'm all about the Republic and he got sort
- 1:32:19of betrayed by that other woman or something that that there's a payoff in the
- 1:32:23latest episode where it's like, oh, I see where you're going with this.
- 1:32:26This could leave I watched latest episode against Yeah, I'm just I'm watching.
- 1:32:30I won't say it, but something happens in the latest episode where I'm
- 1:32:31like, is this the start of the next trilogy? Because this is this
- 1:32:35is actually pretty cool. Yeah. The last Mandla in the air last Wednesday
- 1:32:40here in Australia anyway, felt very much like classic Star Wars. It's actually
- 1:32:44pretty good, interesting. All right, well I'll get on that. All
- 1:32:46right. Final question here, we'll pick one more because we're gonna get to
- 1:32:48move on, all right, Alex Rodriguez, this is the episode where we
- 1:32:51find out Millhouse is the middle name of Missolini. What is some strange middle
- 1:32:56names you two have come across in the past. Nichola's bedd name is Francis.
- 1:33:00Francis, cut that out, Francis, she come over. I've got
- 1:33:12the most boring one minds is James. Everyone I feel like I've got,
- 1:33:15like so many of my friends have middle names James, Philip, James,
- 1:33:17Michael, James. All my friends they're all James. I like James.
- 1:33:21I mean, I know, I want to say it's so common. Yours
- 1:33:25is cool? Well mine is guy's yours? Guy? Yeah, random middle
- 1:33:30names. I don't know people that says, I sort of tell each other
- 1:33:32the middle names anymore? Really, No, Maybe as a kid needs to
- 1:33:35be a thing. You're like, what's your middle name? Like, what's
- 1:33:38your wonder? What's your middle name? I mean, Lowe's kids have got
- 1:33:41good middle names. I think the eldest is Gabriel and the youngest is Lucian.
- 1:33:45I've forgot what Alder his middle names I think it might be might be
- 1:33:48Helen. Actually yeah, Atliott's middle name is Jock, and my Michael Jock,
- 1:33:53and Hollies is Elizabeth because that's Nicholas mum and sister's middle name as well.
- 1:33:58Tie in there. Well. This final one here from George Catherine says,
- 1:34:00if you were to start a club which has a theme about it,
- 1:34:02particularly clothing, what would be your trademark attire? What's what's so your club
- 1:34:08would what would be your clubs? As a beanie? Oh, probably a
- 1:34:10cool beanie. Beanies do suit you? Well, I've got my favorite black
- 1:34:13one that I wear with like my black pea coat. Yeah, that makes
- 1:34:16everyone and everyone says you're gonna work on the doctor and like suck. It's
- 1:34:19always a check at which one they fuck off because they're scared of me.
- 1:34:25All right. That is our review of the last of the Red Hat Mummas,
