- 0:09Speaker 1: Hello, Welcome to the Inside the Birds postgame show. I'm
- 0:13Speaker 1: Jeff Moscher with Adam Kaplan and the Eagles in Week
- 0:17Speaker 1: eight have beaten the New York Giants. Have not only
- 0:21Speaker 1: beaten them, Adam, but they trounced them, and they avenge
- 0:26Speaker 1: their Week six loss. They lost Week six thirty four
- 0:28Speaker 1: to seventeen, and then they come back with a resounding
- 0:31Speaker 1: thirty eight to twenty win at the Link on Sunday that,
- 0:35Speaker 1: to be perfectly fair, was not even eighteen points close, Adham.
- 0:40Speaker 2: This was a very lopsided win.
- 0:42Speaker 1: And the Eagles will now go into the bye week
- 0:44Speaker 1: despite some of the flaws that we've talked about with
- 0:46Speaker 1: them six and two comfortably atop the NFC East and
- 0:50Speaker 1: gotta be feeling pretty good after that two game losing streak.
- 0:52Speaker 1: You look at the we'll get into the game, but
- 0:55Speaker 1: the big picture, they are finding some things that are
- 0:58Speaker 1: working for them on offense, getting better on defense, and
- 1:01Speaker 1: they go into a bye week tough part of their
- 1:04Speaker 1: schedule we talked about the first eight Week six and two.
- 1:07Speaker 3: This is an execution game on both sides of the football.
- 1:10Speaker 3: This is the first time that both sides of the
- 1:12Speaker 3: football executed from pillar to post. They just they got
- 1:16Speaker 3: the job done. Particularly offense. The running game is the
- 1:20Speaker 3: best that had been since the regular season of last year.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Actually playoffs too, you to include the Rams game, but
- 1:25Speaker 3: best since last season. Ye, and they found their number
- 1:29Speaker 3: two back. It's clearly Tank Pigsby. That's not even a debate.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I mean, he's clearly the two. He played over Shipley.
- 1:33Speaker 3: He was phenomenal. But we'll get into him we break
- 1:35Speaker 3: down the offense. But the defense was really good, very disciplined. Yes, okay,
- 1:41Speaker 3: the Slaton play should have been a touchdown as a
- 1:44Speaker 3: bad call. I agree with Dean Blandino. That's hand fighting
- 1:46Speaker 3: and what Tom Brady said, But you know it doesn't matter.
- 1:49Speaker 3: Eagles smacked him third eight to twenty. The game was
- 1:53Speaker 3: never really a problem. They never trailed, by the way,
- 1:55Speaker 3: never trailed in the game. And yeah, it was an
- 1:58Speaker 3: execution game. Andy, it's funny. I get it. I get
- 2:01Speaker 3: kind of laugh on the media says, oh you got
- 2:03Speaker 3: you know, you guys seem to do some things differently
- 2:05Speaker 3: in offense. Well, here's what they did. They executed it.
- 2:07Speaker 3: That's what they did. Well.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean they did do some things differently. We
- 2:10Speaker 1: talked about under center last week and they did this one.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, they did.
- 2:14Speaker 1: And I do think this was a different form of
- 2:17Speaker 1: running because they ran outside the tackles more.
- 2:20Speaker 3: That was what they did. Yes, off tackle outside zone
- 2:23Speaker 3: a little bit, yes, but it wasn't like they brought
- 2:25Speaker 3: a new I think.
- 2:26Speaker 2: What happens is they didn't reinvent the wheel. Right.
- 2:28Speaker 3: Yeah, people over they overdo it. They think that this
- 2:32Speaker 3: is like a brand new offense. It's the same offense
- 2:34Speaker 3: they've been running. They just added a couple of things.
- 2:37Speaker 3: The execution that they've done ninety flip ninety flip is
- 2:39Speaker 3: the play we won't get two tackled, but I'll show
- 2:42Speaker 3: to you if you're watching on YouTube. It's when the
- 2:44Speaker 3: running as running back the quarterback flicks it like this.
- 2:46Speaker 3: This is the old Philip rivers to the Danian Tomlinson
- 2:49Speaker 3: play the Eagles have running before. The first one was beautiful.
- 2:52Speaker 3: The second one got stuffed, but they brought that in. Uh,
- 2:55Speaker 3: the the easy release from God for the touchdown where
- 2:58Speaker 3: he fakes like he's gonna block and then he went
- 3:01Speaker 3: in and he caught the touchdown in the flat and mean, yeah,
- 3:04Speaker 3: they executed. Well, they're bringing a couple nice little wrinkles,
- 3:08Speaker 3: but the bottom lines, they're executing. The run block was phenomenal,
- 3:11Speaker 3: and Barkley squeezed the hall and that's another thing, like
- 3:14Speaker 3: he was patient, he saw it and he took off.
- 3:17Speaker 3: And when he had the first big run, the sixty
- 3:19Speaker 3: five yarder, it wasn't like which we've seen earlier if
- 3:22Speaker 3: he has a nice run and then it gets completely
- 3:24Speaker 3: shut down. They didn't shut him down at all, and
- 3:26Speaker 3: then Bigsby took over. So it was just phenomenal. You
- 3:29Speaker 3: gotta feel great about the run blocking now, as you said,
- 3:32Speaker 3: they've got the buy, they get the guys off their feet.
- 3:35Speaker 3: You gotta feel pretty good other than Barkley injury.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Yeah, no, let's get into this all. I like that
- 3:40Speaker 1: the way you start offensively.
- 3:41Speaker 2: You're right.
- 3:42Speaker 1: The second player of the game, Barkley rips off a
- 3:44Speaker 1: sixty five yard touchdown run. They were under center. I'm
- 3:48Speaker 1: not sure that that's the reason why he got it,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but to your point, to combine both, they did something
- 3:53Speaker 1: that they're starting to do now more than ever before.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I talked to a bunch of guys in the locker
- 3:58Speaker 1: room after about that. But the second part is that
- 4:02Speaker 1: was just a really well blocked play. Everybody from my a.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Lota had a good block on the play, Dickerson had
- 4:09Speaker 1: a good block, DeVante Smith had a nice downfield block.
- 4:12Speaker 1: They executed, and that was a play that was It
- 4:16Speaker 1: wasn't a wide outside run, it was a off tackle
- 4:21Speaker 1: and they were able to get outside and Barkley was
- 4:24Speaker 1: able to find the avenues run through them, put the
- 4:27Speaker 1: jets on. And the fact that Bigsby, as you mentioned,
- 4:30Speaker 1: can come in and also find success in similar style
- 4:34Speaker 1: runs showed you that the execution is the key. You
- 4:38Speaker 1: sprinkle in the fact that they add some new looks,
- 4:40Speaker 1: whether it's under center or running outside. But Greg always
- 4:44Speaker 1: says this, and you're hitting on the same head. There's
- 4:46Speaker 1: not like a thousand different run plays. If you run
- 4:48Speaker 1: outside a few times the off the defense is gonna
- 4:50Speaker 1: see that. You still have to be able to block
- 4:52Speaker 1: it up. And I really did think that by not
- 4:55Speaker 1: putting so much pressure on Brett Toath and asking him
- 4:58Speaker 1: to make certain types of blocks on the interior that
- 5:01Speaker 1: he just couldn't make.
- 5:01Speaker 2: And you saw that in the Vikings game.
- 5:03Speaker 1: They left it to their their tackles to make the
- 5:06Speaker 1: box their outside runs, and then Saquon's shiftiness and Bigsby
- 5:10Speaker 1: runs with hard with hard power, I mean he runs
- 5:13Speaker 1: powerfully and he's compact, and it was just a perfect combination.
- 5:17Speaker 2: All right.
- 5:17Speaker 3: So let's get into the offense. So it as expected
- 5:21Speaker 3: to started at center. It was interesting because they didn't.
- 5:24Speaker 3: They just carried over what they did last week. They
- 5:26Speaker 3: mixed in shotgun with with Hurts under center. It's good.
- 5:30Speaker 3: It clearly works play actions. As Kevin's fancy said, success
- 5:36Speaker 3: with play action as zero. To deal with anything other
- 5:39Speaker 3: than they went for it, There's no well, it works
- 5:42Speaker 3: better when you play action works better. It works better
- 5:45Speaker 3: when you when they don't know what's coming. There's no
- 5:47Speaker 3: statistic that shows you that it works better with the
- 5:49Speaker 3: quarterback on the center, or or if the quarterbacks on shotgun.
- 5:53Speaker 3: It just it worked. I mean, it was perfectly executed.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Great stuff. They don't really obviously they the opponents not
- 6:00Speaker 3: seen Hurts on the center very much, but we saw
- 6:01Speaker 3: it last week against Minnesota. They continued to with tothis
- 6:05Speaker 3: the center. And the thing is, we'll see what the
- 6:08Speaker 3: tape looks like. But it wasn't like when Hurts dropped back.
- 6:12Speaker 3: It didn't drop back a lot, but he threw a
- 6:13Speaker 3: touchdown every five passes, which is pretty funny but pretty cool.
- 6:17Speaker 3: But it wasn't like he hurt them.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Now.
- 6:19Speaker 3: It's kind of like when you have Ringo out there
- 6:21Speaker 3: at corner. You just hope he doesn't crush you, you know.
- 6:26Speaker 3: But it wasn't like the rolling of the eyes. He's
- 6:29Speaker 3: number sixty four for those who don't know it. They
- 6:32Speaker 3: played a lot of twelve personnel, which is what we expected.
- 6:34Speaker 3: We'll see what the exact breakdown is from eleven to twelve,
- 6:38Speaker 3: but the bottom line is the run blocking was by
- 6:41Speaker 3: far and only the best of this season. It's just
- 6:44Speaker 3: the execution of the offense. And they put up thirty
- 6:48Speaker 3: eight legitimate points. It wasn't like they had a touchdown
- 6:51Speaker 3: defensive layer of special teams touchdown. No, they put up
- 6:53Speaker 3: thirty eight points right right.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I think you know, when we're talking again about going
- 6:59Speaker 1: under center, takes certain looks and that's what I think
- 7:01Speaker 1: helps the Eagles get big plays off of it. Against
- 7:04Speaker 1: the Vikings, it made that boundary safety creep into the
- 7:07Speaker 1: box and they figured they would get a one on
- 7:09Speaker 1: one for Devonte Smith, which they did and got the
- 7:12Speaker 1: seventy nine yard touchdown. Against the Giants, I thought the
- 7:16Speaker 1: Giants were not great at at the linebacker level in
- 7:19Speaker 1: this game, and I think that it did help manipulate
- 7:22Speaker 1: the linebackers.
- 7:22Speaker 2: To your point you start to succeed.
- 7:24Speaker 1: It doesn't mean just because you run it you're going
- 7:27Speaker 1: to succeed more than being in shotgun, but when you're
- 7:29Speaker 1: able to mix up looks and keep a defense off balance,
- 7:32Speaker 1: it's a great thing, and I think.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It's for this offense going forward.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I talked to some of the guys, especially on the
- 7:38Speaker 1: line after the game, kind of got the feeling that
- 7:41Speaker 1: it's here to stay and they're not going to ever
- 7:43Speaker 1: be like Shanahan McVeigh under center thirty forty fifty sixty
- 7:49Speaker 1: percent of the time, but they're going to continue to
- 7:51Speaker 1: mix it and integrate it into their offense. And it
- 7:54Speaker 1: was definitely something that they felt needed to happen coming
- 7:57Speaker 1: off that Giants week. We talked about the scout of
- 8:00Speaker 1: that mini bi Alanda Dickerson was talking about it. Greang
- 8:04Speaker 1: Calcaterra said that, you know, this is something that the
- 8:06Speaker 1: coaches felt that would help, and it certainly has through
- 8:08Speaker 1: two games.
- 8:09Speaker 2: So that's good.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Uh, Dallas Goddard Adam, It's it's somewhat ironic that in
- 8:14Speaker 1: a off season in which he's on the trade block
- 8:18Speaker 1: and then you know, winds up agreeing to come back
- 8:20Speaker 1: on a revised contract a pay cut, that he would
- 8:23Speaker 1: have seven touchdowns through the first he has more.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I wrote this on Philly Voice.
- 8:30Speaker 1: He has more touchdowns through eight weeks this year than
- 8:33Speaker 1: he had last two years combined. He's got more touchdowns
- 8:37Speaker 1: this through half a year than the last two years combined.
- 8:41Speaker 3: He's a well. What helped him. The reason why I
- 8:43Speaker 3: had him was I picked with my player of the game.
- 8:45Speaker 3: I wouldn't give it to him. I will give their
- 8:47Speaker 3: offensive line hurts it if I had well Barkley. Here's
- 8:50Speaker 3: the funny thing. Barkley, Yes, offensive line, yes, hurts, Yes,
- 8:53Speaker 3: pick whoever you want.
- 8:55Speaker 2: Fair.
- 8:55Speaker 3: But they needed Goddard in line more they needed and
- 8:59Speaker 3: they brought Fred John him. By the way, look at
- 9:01Speaker 3: my notes here in the first series as a as
- 9:03Speaker 3: an add in helper, you know, for the heavy package,
- 9:08Speaker 3: jumbo whatever you want to call it. But I also
- 9:11Speaker 3: like just the diversity of the play calling in terms
- 9:13Speaker 3: of using what you know guys can do right. They
- 9:16Speaker 3: also executed a screen to Barkley beautiful I think was
- 9:18Speaker 3: was it the.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Barkley was by yeah, yeah, beautiful.
- 9:22Speaker 3: It's funny. We've been asking where the hell the screen
- 9:25Speaker 3: passes with this team, you know.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And by the way, not only not only that, they
- 9:30Speaker 1: they got Barkley wide open his first catching touchdown right
- 9:33Speaker 1: on the left side. Again, it seems like everything they
- 9:36Speaker 1: were able to do was outside the tackles. They found it,
- 9:39Speaker 1: they exploited it, and it worked for them in this game.
- 9:42Speaker 1: But yeah, Barkley was basically wide wide open when he
- 9:45Speaker 1: got the ball.
- 9:46Speaker 3: They used Gibson, uh isevery Gibson on offense, and obviously
- 9:49Speaker 3: the dots in touchdown gave him credit for all the
- 9:52Speaker 3: guff that he took from the commanders and all the
- 9:56Speaker 3: stuff that we reported at the time, and people who
- 9:58Speaker 3: covered the Commanders know it was it didn't look good
- 10:02Speaker 3: when Dotson was straight at Eagles. I mean, the commanders
- 10:04Speaker 3: couldn't get him out of the building fast enough. Wasn't
- 10:06Speaker 3: He's not a bad person, he just they didn't like
- 10:08Speaker 3: him the new stand. But man, what an effort for
- 10:11Speaker 3: that touchdown catch was just absolutely incredible. In fact, really
- 10:14Speaker 3: what he was probably trying to do was make sure
- 10:16Speaker 3: it didn't get picked off, and he did more than
- 10:17Speaker 3: that he took it out of the kid's hands, that
- 10:19Speaker 3: backup point, or just got signed off the practice squad, or.
- 10:22Speaker 2: That was the Penn State. That was the Penn State.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Johan Dotson, he made so many contested catches at Penn
- 10:28Speaker 1: State that it was shocking that he was almost a
- 10:30Speaker 1: shell of himself for those first two years with Washington.
- 10:33Speaker 1: It's his you know, we we were on it. I
- 10:35Speaker 1: mean you had had a lot of stuff on it too.
- 10:37Speaker 1: I mean, it just wasn't using play strength. It just
- 10:40Speaker 1: wasn't that guy that he was in college.
- 10:42Speaker 3: The effort that I'm just going to tell you the
- 10:44Speaker 3: effort was important time was that it was not good.
- 10:46Speaker 3: They wanted him out of there.
- 10:47Speaker 2: He's a good kid.
- 10:48Speaker 3: He's just sometimes a change of scenery helps. He's done
- 10:51Speaker 3: a fine job.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Here Dan, he doesn't get the ball very much.
- 10:54Speaker 3: But yeah, no, but when they've used him. Look, I
- 10:56Speaker 3: mean that they needed him today, no doubt about it.
- 11:00Speaker 3: But the other cool stories Tank Bigsby, who you know,
- 11:02Speaker 3: it's funny.
- 11:03Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:03Speaker 3: The word we got was they liked the fact that
- 11:06Speaker 3: he had two years left on his deal this year
- 11:08Speaker 3: in another year, and remember Dylan who now has been demoted.
- 11:10Speaker 3: He's a fourth string running back. He dressed but didn't play.
- 11:14Speaker 3: So Bigsby now is over at Shipley. Shipley's kickoff for Turner.
- 11:18Speaker 3: When I say he's over him, yes, you'll see Shipley
- 11:20Speaker 3: in for third down where Bigsby won't be. But Bigsby
- 11:23Speaker 3: he's got uh look at my notes here. This is
- 11:25Speaker 3: just the stuff I got from scouting people. And you
- 11:28Speaker 3: saw the show up in the game. He's got what's
- 11:30Speaker 3: called secondary vision. So what happens is, Okay, he runs
- 11:33Speaker 3: inside and I don't know if this is gonna be taught,
- 11:36Speaker 3: but his cod which is changed the direction. It's ridiculous.
- 11:39Speaker 3: You're like, how did he see that? He stops and
- 11:42Speaker 3: he turns. He's a cutting, slashing type back upright, Really
- 11:46Speaker 3: good vision, budd He really looked good. It's funny. He
- 11:48Speaker 3: had one carry for eleven yards last week. Clearly they
- 11:51Speaker 3: liked what it looked like on tape and whatever is
- 11:53Speaker 3: done in practice. You don't get that role unless you're
- 11:55Speaker 3: doing well in practice. Budd It he looked damn good
- 11:57Speaker 3: That Eagles had over two one hundred yard rush the game.
- 12:00Speaker 3: That's hard to do and that's pretty pretty significant.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It is.
- 12:03Speaker 1: It'll It'll be interesting to see if this impacts AJ
- 12:06Speaker 1: Dillon's job security or fifty three man roster security in
- 12:11Speaker 1: any way, especially if Howie Roseman makes any deals excuse
- 12:14Speaker 1: me during the break, or if they have to activate.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Players r.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Back.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I didn't even think about that. That's a
- 12:22Speaker 2: good point.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, so yeah that because I agree Bigsby gave them
- 12:27Speaker 1: a spark. He has a good running style about him.
- 12:30Speaker 1: He definitely gives them some juice and this could be
- 12:32Speaker 1: their one two thunder Thunder Thunder combination going forward if
- 12:36Speaker 1: this continues to work as well as against the Giants.
- 12:40Speaker 1: Last thing I noticed that was interesting formationally is that
- 12:44Speaker 1: without AJ Brown we talked about this, they didn't. It's
- 12:47Speaker 1: not like they tried to shoehorn in an X receiver
- 12:50Speaker 1: when they don't have one. They played a lot of
- 12:52Speaker 1: reduced splits.
- 12:53Speaker 2: They move guys around.
- 12:54Speaker 1: But Darius Cooper did get out there pretty early. He
- 12:57Speaker 1: did line up in some outside X. But he is
- 13:00Speaker 1: the guy. He has that body right. Yeah, he drew
- 13:03Speaker 1: a penalty. He's the closest thing they have to a
- 13:06Speaker 1: backup execus. He's a bigger guy, sixund guy, Greg said.
- 13:10Speaker 3: Cosell said when he he I call him over the summer.
- 13:13Speaker 3: I said, hey, there's this kid, Darris Cooper from Tarlton
- 13:16Speaker 3: State is a Tarleton.
- 13:17Speaker 2: State at the Arlton State YEP.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Said hey, I think Greg, if you've never heard of him,
- 13:21Speaker 3: you need to watch the tape. This is a real
- 13:22Speaker 3: this is legitimate. This kid's really really good. So I
- 13:26Speaker 3: guess he watched his college tape and you know, he
- 13:29Speaker 3: guessed he was in the one nineties. I said, Greg,
- 13:31Speaker 3: I don't know what you guys will listened to. He's
- 13:33Speaker 3: way over two hundred. He built his body up. It's
- 13:36Speaker 3: a real sharp kid. And Greg's like his his preseason
- 13:39Speaker 3: tape was really good. He's like, Wow, this this kid's
- 13:42Speaker 3: really talented. I go, yeah, he was I think a
- 13:46Speaker 3: quarterback in high school and he did the job. By
- 13:49Speaker 3: the way, he before he got hurt, he was he
- 13:51Speaker 3: was in there and sure garters the block. So that
- 13:53Speaker 3: tells you.
- 13:53Speaker 2: A lot he will and that's yeah. They like him.
- 13:56Speaker 1: They like using that big body. Again, he's the only
- 13:59Speaker 1: one that when you line up in it feels like
- 14:01Speaker 1: you have a normal X. They put Mechi out there
- 14:03Speaker 1: a little bit, but to your point, they were mostly
- 14:06Speaker 1: a twelve personnel thirteen per There was a time they
- 14:10Speaker 1: put a couple of thirteen personnel snaps out there. And
- 14:13Speaker 1: I'm not talking about Fred Johnson as the third tight
- 14:15Speaker 1: end that is thirteen personnel. But they used lot too Calcatara,
- 14:20Speaker 1: if you're gonna let's for this situation call it instead
- 14:23Speaker 1: of twenty one, we'll call it thirteen because Latsuo is
- 14:25Speaker 1: really a tight end who's.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Just moonlighting as a fullback.
- 14:28Speaker 1: But they had a lot to Calcatara and Goddard at
- 14:31Speaker 1: a couple of times. So I mean, they clearly decided
- 14:34Speaker 1: they were gonna go big in absence of aj Brown.
- 14:36Speaker 1: They were gonna get their run get They're gonna try, right,
- 14:38Speaker 1: that was the plan. Let's go big up front, Let's
- 14:41Speaker 1: get as much bodies as the line of scrimmage and
- 14:43Speaker 1: try to ground and pound.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And they did.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And that's like a reminder of what the Eagles used
- 14:48Speaker 1: to look like.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say it was very reminiscent of last year.
- 14:52Speaker 3: But the difference is they also stopped during the past
- 14:56Speaker 3: game like that. They hurts was very efficient. Here's what
- 14:59Speaker 3: I love. I put an exclamation exclamation point on it,
- 15:03Speaker 3: threw it inside the numbers. Exclamation point Elaine Bennetts would
- 15:07Speaker 3: be happy for the you seinfel if you get that one.
- 15:10Speaker 3: But he did, I mean he threw it inside the numbers.
- 15:13Speaker 3: He So this is two games now mm hm. I
- 15:16Speaker 3: mean I've mentioned this before. Ervin Frther for the Great
- 15:19Speaker 3: former Eagle, went on IP last year and they asked
- 15:22Speaker 3: about Hurts and he said, oh, he just doesn't like
- 15:23Speaker 3: to throw the ball inside. Well maybe he doesn't, but
- 15:26Speaker 3: you're starting to see a little bit here. They're building
- 15:29Speaker 3: off the Minnesota game. Very comfortable, doesn't turn it over,
- 15:33Speaker 3: efficient protection, mostly good. Now, you always have to know
- 15:37Speaker 3: when when a guy takes a sack who was on well,
- 15:41Speaker 3: more often than not players will tell you and coachable
- 15:43Speaker 3: two that it's on the quarterback. Hm. But the bottom
- 15:47Speaker 3: line he did get sacked four times. But we'll find out.
- 15:49Speaker 3: We'll see what Greg says when we talked to him
- 15:51Speaker 3: for Inside the tape. But you know, overall, anytime your
- 15:54Speaker 3: number two quarterback comes in late, it's probably because you're winning.
- 15:59Speaker 1: And it was Yes, Hey, Philly fans. Game day is
- 16:01Speaker 1: stressful enough, parking, traffic, long lines, We've all been there.
- 16:06Speaker 1: But when it comes to your cannabis, Camden Apothecary makes
- 16:09Speaker 1: it easy. This is the dispensary for sports fans, just
- 16:14Speaker 1: minutes outside of Philly, with plenty of free parking.

- 16:21Speaker 1: about convenience. Camedn Apothecary is all about the guest experience.

- 16:44Speaker 1: They even show love to the community with specials for fans, students,
- 16:49Speaker 1: service members, and healthcare pros. Camedn Apothecary top quality cannabis,
- 16:54Speaker 1: great prices, and an experience made for Philly fans twenty
- 16:58Speaker 1: one and up. I remember saying in the pregame show,
- 17:01Speaker 1: I think we talked about this, can the Eagles get
- 17:03Speaker 1: by on being a shot play offense only? And we
- 17:05Speaker 1: said only they can because they were last year, but
- 17:08Speaker 1: only if you have a really effective run game. We'll
- 17:11Speaker 1: take a look at the top five plays for the
- 17:14Speaker 1: Eagles and the down and distances at them all right,
- 17:16Speaker 1: Saquon Barkley sixty five yard touchdown second and ten.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Giants are gonna kick themselves for that one.
- 17:21Speaker 1: Or how about the dots in forty yard touchdown on
- 17:25Speaker 1: third and six, Or how about the Tank Bigsby twenty
- 17:29Speaker 1: nine yard run on second and twenty six, or the
- 17:33Speaker 1: Devonte Smith twenty six yard catch on first and fifteen.
- 17:37Speaker 1: My god, the Giants are gonna look at the stat
- 17:39Speaker 1: sheet and they're gonna want to bang their head into
- 17:41Speaker 1: a wall. You talk about you get a team where
- 17:43Speaker 1: you want them and then you completely hemorrhage yards and points.
- 17:47Speaker 2: That's not good.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Now we say this, but you have to give the
- 17:51Speaker 3: offensive line credit. I mean, they got the job done.
- 17:54Speaker 3: And I'm very curious because I'm looking at how many
- 17:58Speaker 3: times Fred Shotton you could hear sometimes whatever number is
- 18:03Speaker 3: reported eligible like, you could hear it audibly if if
- 18:06Speaker 3: you have the sound up high enough. That's that has
- 18:09Speaker 3: been in They've been doing it lately with Fred Johnson's
- 18:11Speaker 3: not just this game, and they've been doing it lately.
- 18:13Speaker 3: That's that they're they're trying. They're trying to get back
- 18:16Speaker 3: to last year. That I give them credit they're trying.
- 18:19Speaker 3: I just think, what great time to get your run
- 18:22Speaker 3: game back. Finally, when you have a by next week,
- 18:24Speaker 3: you get these guys off their feet. As they said
- 18:26Speaker 3: to start the show, that that's a big thing, but overall,
- 18:29Speaker 3: not much to add offensively, We've kind of hit on
- 18:31Speaker 3: all of it. It was just a beautiful and by
- 18:33Speaker 3: the way they did it without aj Brown, that's really significant.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Definitely ten.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'm looking at the place you hear play by play,
- 18:40Speaker 1: it looks like ten snaps of Fred Johnson.
- 18:43Speaker 2: I think last week it was eight.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Now I didn't check to see if there were there
- 18:46Speaker 1: was a penalty on one, so it might look like
- 18:48Speaker 1: nine or eight in the final when they do the
- 18:51Speaker 1: snap count because penalties on plays don't count as plays.
- 18:54Speaker 1: But pretty much like like last week, but maybe even
- 18:57Speaker 1: a little bit more.
- 19:00Speaker 3: So. Yes, it's clear, Yes, it's clearly we'll get the
- 19:03Speaker 3: defense in like twenty second. It's clearly here to stay.
- 19:07Speaker 3: The change up, as you said to start the show,
- 19:10Speaker 3: is the having Hurts under center. That's a good change up.
- 19:13Speaker 3: You can't they're not a they're not an under center
- 19:15Speaker 3: quarterback team. But now you've seen they could use it
- 19:18Speaker 3: as a change up and it's working. These are the
- 19:21Speaker 3: for all the people are killing Uh, what's the what's
- 19:23Speaker 3: the guy's name, Kevin Patula. I keep thinking Keivin Batula.
- 19:28Speaker 2: People are killing him too.
- 19:30Speaker 3: Yeah, well, what their offenses? A quarterback? It's hard to win.
- 19:34Speaker 3: We you don't have a quarterback. But Batullo is bringing
- 19:37Speaker 3: more stuff out with Sirianni's help and Stout and all
- 19:41Speaker 3: their coaches. It's working. I mean, it's it's they keep
- 19:44Speaker 3: adding little stuff. But the thing is, the number one
- 19:46Speaker 3: thing is it's not what they're adding so much, it's
- 19:49Speaker 3: the execution the player that they've had so many problems with.
- 19:52Speaker 3: The run block has been atrocious up to the season,
- 19:54Speaker 3: up to this game. We all know this on a
- 19:56Speaker 3: secret right where the past block has been the dominant
- 19:59Speaker 3: part of their off defense. But they're running offense first.
- 20:02Speaker 3: If you can't run the ball on your running offense,
- 20:04Speaker 3: you're not going to You're not gonna go as far
- 20:06Speaker 3: as you want. You could find ways to win. The
- 20:07Speaker 3: Eagles have had a nice schedule so far. They're six
- 20:10Speaker 3: and two. Schedule, as you said earlier, is much harder,
- 20:13Speaker 3: but they're getting arrested at the right time.
- 20:16Speaker 1: All right, Defense Adam clearly a much different approch. Well,
- 20:20Speaker 1: much more like you. I think you're hitting it on
- 20:22Speaker 1: the head. Much better execution, especially against the run. Yes
- 20:26Speaker 1: than Week six against the Giants, and now it's two
- 20:28Speaker 1: weeks in a.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Row because they did a good job.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I believe they held the Vikings to three point eight
- 20:33Speaker 1: yards per carry, and in this game against the Giants,
- 20:36Speaker 1: once again, the run defense was very good. The Giants,
- 20:39Speaker 1: who averaged four point four yards per carry in the
- 20:42Speaker 1: Week six game, only averaged I think it was three
- 20:45Speaker 1: point two this game.
- 20:46Speaker 2: So that's more than a yard drop per per rush.
- 20:49Speaker 2: That's all. That's what you were looking for. There's no
- 20:52Speaker 2: way this Giants team should run all over you.
- 20:55Speaker 1: And unfortunately Cam Scatabu had a really bad injury, and
- 20:58Speaker 1: my god, I.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Know it was very gruesome.
- 21:00Speaker 1: However, it's not like he only had twelve yards on
- 21:03Speaker 1: I think four three or four carries, so it's not
- 21:05Speaker 1: like they were running great and then he got hurt.
- 21:07Speaker 1: They just the last two opponents have not run on
- 21:10Speaker 1: the Eagles the way they've wanted to.
- 21:12Speaker 3: All right, So what happened the first time they played
- 21:13Speaker 3: the Giants. It wasn't that they did so badly the Eagles.
- 21:16Speaker 3: What happened was they got gashed in the fourth quarter
- 21:18Speaker 3: when they just got controlled. They couldn't get off the
- 21:20Speaker 3: field like Scataboo you just mentioned, who disslocated his right ankle.
- 21:23Speaker 3: It's a shame and it could be even worse depending
- 21:25Speaker 3: on what the testing shows. They know they know the
- 21:28Speaker 3: initial testing is dislocated right ankle. But yeah, and the
- 21:31Speaker 3: tyrone Tracy is not that guy. You could give volum
- 21:33Speaker 3: carries too. And this is why I drafted scatabo in
- 21:36Speaker 3: the fourth round. But yeah, look both by the way,
- 21:39Speaker 3: both defenses had significant guys out. I mean they hit well,
- 21:43Speaker 3: they had enough guys out as we knew coming into
- 21:46Speaker 3: the game at corner with the dry Jackson out that
- 21:49Speaker 3: hurt them. With o'jelari, who would have loved to go
- 21:51Speaker 3: and against his form team. And by the way it'd
- 21:54Speaker 3: shown some the first start was really good and then
- 21:57Speaker 3: we know that AJ Brown was out. Then you look
- 21:59Speaker 3: at the Giants, two starters in the secondary out, so
- 22:02Speaker 3: both teams had to deal with it. But getting back
- 22:04Speaker 3: where we are now at the Eagles defense, Dean's playing
- 22:06Speaker 3: a lot. He looks healthy. I wonder we'll see what
- 22:10Speaker 3: the tape looks like I wonder if they use him
- 22:11Speaker 3: as a blitzer. I know they used Bonn as a blitzer.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Hunt had some splash plays. Jelex hunted, Oh, Jomo had
- 22:18Speaker 3: a sack, Carter had a sack, Jordan Davis had a sack.
- 22:21Speaker 3: It's pretty interesting.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I really think that when you when
- 22:26Speaker 1: we look at the tape and talk to Greg, what
- 22:27Speaker 1: we're gonna wind up seeing is that Jackson Dart held
- 22:30Speaker 1: onto the ball. I thought his protection was not bad.
- 22:32Speaker 1: He just kept getting stuck in the pocket and sort
- 22:34Speaker 1: of running himself.
- 22:36Speaker 3: Hint.
- 22:36Speaker 1: The sacks, so, I mean, Jelex Hunt almost had one
- 22:39Speaker 1: on a good pressure, but he just oh.
- 22:43Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, he's had a couple of them where he
- 22:45Speaker 3: just missed him. But no, we're right. What happened was
- 22:48Speaker 3: Dart was then he tried to run and if you
- 22:49Speaker 3: get caught behind the line, you could technically call it
- 22:52Speaker 3: a sack. But the bottom line is they played with
- 22:54Speaker 3: a lot of discipline. Yes, Josh uche had won at
- 22:57Speaker 3: least one quality rush and now the Slayton one again
- 23:02Speaker 3: that that should have been a touchdown. Other than that
- 23:04Speaker 3: play that they did a good job of not giving
- 23:07Speaker 3: up the big Darren Slayton has had a number of plays.
- 23:09Speaker 3: He's fun. He changes number from eighty six to eighteen,
- 23:12Speaker 3: and didn't notice that. I'm like, who is eighteen?
- 23:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I was confused by it too. I didn't realize.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Yeah. So look, they they they the defense did a
- 23:21Speaker 3: good job. They'll they'll get healthier during the bye. This
- 23:24Speaker 3: is a good thing, beg. You know what, We'll see
- 23:27Speaker 3: whether he returns for that game after the buye. You
- 23:29Speaker 3: would think you would, but until he shows he's ready physically,
- 23:32Speaker 3: and he's got to stam and all that is, you
- 23:34Speaker 3: can't put him out there unless you think he's ready.
- 23:36Speaker 3: And we'll see about Nolan Smith after the buye. See,
- 23:38Speaker 3: this is the thing they're missing. Some key players are
- 23:40Speaker 3: going to help them.
- 23:41Speaker 2: Yep.
- 23:41Speaker 3: And yet all of this, all the consternation blaming this player,
- 23:46Speaker 3: blaming that player, blaming that coach, there's still six two,
- 23:49Speaker 3: which is the twenty twenty three vibes. I told people
- 23:53Speaker 3: we recently, I'm not there yet. I was starting to
- 23:55Speaker 3: trend towards that, Like it seems like half of Eagles Nation. Yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 3: but they've kind of that. They're played with great discipline.
- 24:02Speaker 3: This is what a great way to go and by
- 24:03Speaker 3: the way to the buyeot.
- 24:05Speaker 1: It absolutely, oh, because I mean this was a crossroads
- 24:08Speaker 1: sort of game. I mean, you lose this game, you
- 24:10Speaker 1: get swept by the Giants, right, you go into the body,
- 24:13Speaker 1: get two weeks to think about it.
- 24:14Speaker 2: You're not.
- 24:15Speaker 1: I mean, now look at your lead in the NFC
- 24:18Speaker 1: East and we'll see what happens with you know, the
- 24:20Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys are losing as we record this, so the Broncos.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Although the way games are played, you don't want to
- 24:25Speaker 1: say anything, but if that, if that holds true, I mean,
- 24:28Speaker 1: for all the Eagles flaws, if you want to talk
- 24:30Speaker 1: about them, they're still like far comfortably ahead in the
- 24:33Speaker 1: NFC East. Now, I mean, yeah, they got to play
- 24:36Speaker 1: the Packers coming out of the bye, and that's going
- 24:39Speaker 1: to be you know, you would imagine it'll be a
- 24:40Speaker 1: tough game.
- 24:41Speaker 2: I don't think, you know, no matter what.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Then the Lions right after that, and then you know
- 24:45Speaker 1: they will have a Chargers team in a couple of
- 24:47Speaker 1: weeks that might be healthier.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So I listen, I agree with you.
- 24:50Speaker 1: I the Eagles could lose three games or four games,
- 24:54Speaker 1: but I don't think it's going to be in a
- 24:55Speaker 1: row and start some tailspin. It's just that I do
- 24:58Speaker 1: think that the NFC and the Eagles are a little
- 25:00Speaker 1: closer than they were last year.
- 25:02Speaker 2: But I'm with you.
- 25:03Speaker 1: I think that this team knows when it has problems
- 25:06Speaker 1: that they've got to get back. They don't just rest
- 25:08Speaker 1: on their laurels and say we're defending champs. They fix
- 25:10Speaker 1: their issues. They at least they try, and we'll see
- 25:13Speaker 1: what happens over the second half of the season. But
- 25:15Speaker 1: I'd be surprised if it was like some kind like
- 25:18Speaker 1: you said, if they lose a game, even if they lose,
- 25:20Speaker 1: let's hey, let's do hypotheticals.
- 25:22Speaker 2: Let's say they lose Packers Lions back to back. I'm
- 25:25Speaker 2: not gonna sit there and say the season's over or
- 25:27Speaker 2: they're gonna lose.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yes, that's my point that they've got such a nice
- 25:32Speaker 1: cushion here. You know they're gonna it's almost impossible to
- 25:34Speaker 1: see them not win the division.
- 25:36Speaker 2: At least you got.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Two people who are relentless, the head coach of the
- 25:39Speaker 3: general manager. The general manager will look at any possibilities
- 25:43Speaker 3: at corner and edge, see if there's anything there, and
- 25:46Speaker 3: way giving up next to your draft picks or other
- 25:50Speaker 3: picks for other years comparatively, they know they're going to
- 25:53Speaker 3: get Nolan Smith back, they know they're going to get
- 25:56Speaker 3: BG playing at some point in the near future, and
- 25:59Speaker 3: then you know corner, they're just they have a problem
- 26:01Speaker 3: that's not going to resolve itself. But they're just it's
- 26:03Speaker 3: it's who they have. Yeah, we should mention that it's cool.
- 26:08Speaker 3: Na Kobe Dean technically started with a forty three. Yeah,
- 26:12Speaker 3: they definitely did well. You can go whatever you want,
- 26:15Speaker 3: but they started three linebackers. So the bottom line is
- 26:19Speaker 3: this is this is at a necessity based on the
- 26:21Speaker 3: injuries that they have, lack of depth, and you do
- 26:25Speaker 3: what you can. I'm interested to see is Na Kobe
- 26:27Speaker 3: goes farther here as he gets everything back, how they
- 26:31Speaker 3: use him because the guy was an outstanding blitzer in college.
- 26:34Speaker 3: He can blitz. We've seen him do it here. He
- 26:37Speaker 3: looks healthy. But we'll ask Greg when we taped the
- 26:39Speaker 3: inside of the tape show. This should be interesting. One wait.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I'm looking forward to these both sides of the football
- 26:44Speaker 3: to see if there's anything we because sometimes your eyes
- 26:46Speaker 3: fool you when you're watching TV. They're always going to
- 26:48Speaker 3: because you're not going to get it all right, it's impossible.
- 26:50Speaker 3: You're grating off of your eyes from TV. But the
- 26:54Speaker 3: bottom line is, this team looks really good right now.
- 26:58Speaker 3: They got they put themselves together, They got the revenge
- 27:01Speaker 3: against the Giants team. The reason why I didn't pick
- 27:03Speaker 3: a bigger score was because I you just don't know
- 27:06Speaker 3: how you Yes, they beat the Vikings, they beat they
- 27:09Speaker 3: beat the Vikings. It was a game where it was uneven.
- 27:12Speaker 3: They haven't put a full game together. You just don't
- 27:14Speaker 3: know when that's gonna come. That's the problem with this team.
- 27:16Speaker 3: But they did. And that that that that makes me
- 27:18Speaker 3: when we evaluate, when we evaluate this team, to feel
- 27:22Speaker 3: pretty good about it.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Yep. And let me let me uh.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Since I've been very critical of special teams, specifically the
- 27:28Speaker 1: kickoff returns, let me give some flowers to Will Shipley
- 27:31Speaker 1: who had two big kickoff returns and both of them
- 27:35Speaker 1: led to touchdown scoring drive. Well, I'm not saying clause
- 27:38Speaker 1: and effect, but it certainly helped the field position and
- 27:40Speaker 1: the Eagles scored touchdowns on both of those drives. Uh.
- 27:44Speaker 1: And then you saw a changing of the punt returner
- 27:46Speaker 1: from Dotson to Gibson.
- 27:49Speaker 2: He did fine.
- 27:50Speaker 1: I think he had a seventeen yard return, if I'm
- 27:51Speaker 1: not mistaken, in the game. So he did his job
- 27:54Speaker 1: pretty well and there were no gaffes there. That's the
- 27:57Speaker 1: big thing. The return game did not hurt the Eagles
- 28:01Speaker 1: in any way. So that's that's a minor thing. Like
- 28:03Speaker 1: people may not think that that's big. But again, instead
- 28:06Speaker 1: of starting in your own twenty or fifteen or having
- 28:08Speaker 1: a penalty and you're backed up, you start close to
- 28:11Speaker 1: the midfield and then you get two touchdowns out of it.
- 28:13Speaker 1: So I think it's actually a big thing that they
- 28:16Speaker 1: improved in this game in that area.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that, to be honest with you.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Bigs.
- 28:21Speaker 3: B down is the number two back least as the
- 28:25Speaker 3: main first and second alun backup is a good move.
- 28:29Speaker 3: It's a very good movie. He looked great. Let's see
- 28:31Speaker 3: what they do going for it. Shipley on third downs
- 28:33Speaker 3: certainly could help them. Mentioned Shipley's a kickoff returner. Gibson
- 28:37Speaker 3: nowns a pump turner. That's why they brought him in here.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Man by the way to one punt of his fifty
- 28:41Speaker 3: seven yards h So you like that. Now. The only
- 28:44Speaker 3: snaffo is Jkel He crushed the kick. The kick might
- 28:47Speaker 3: have been good from seventy, but he hit the right
- 28:48Speaker 3: upright and for yeah, get your field goal. He missed it.
- 28:51Speaker 3: That's a second missed field goal, but that's a tough one.
- 28:54Speaker 3: By the way, was not windy on Sunday, so that
- 28:56Speaker 3: that's disappointed that he missed it, but it's not like
- 28:58Speaker 3: he didn't hit him far enough. He did.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Hey, I still like a good night out, but I'm
- 29:03Speaker 1: not always in the mood to drink, and that's why

- 30:30Speaker 1: I don't want to end the show without saying one thing.
- 30:32Speaker 1: I made it very clear. I wanted to say this
- 30:35Speaker 1: a very classy gesture by the Eagles fans who never
- 30:38Speaker 1: get and they only get the bad headlines. Right, nobody
- 30:41Speaker 1: ever credits Eagles fans. You know and listen. I think
- 30:45Speaker 1: this is an obvious gesture. But again, nobody ever credits
- 30:48Speaker 1: the Eagles fans. But as Scataboo was being carted off
- 30:52Speaker 1: into the locker room. He got a standing ovation from
- 30:55Speaker 1: the Eagles crowd. I mean, that was a horrific injury.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Everybody knew it. The players on both the Eagles and
- 31:00Speaker 1: the Giants turned their backs. There was there was no rooting.
- 31:04Speaker 1: I know, there's this legends of rooting Michael Michael Irvin
- 31:07Speaker 1: getting hurt right at the at the vet back. There
- 31:10Speaker 1: was none of that. There was none of that. Everybody
- 31:12Speaker 1: understood the severity. Everybody stood and applauded him and cheered
- 31:18Speaker 1: him on as he was carted to the locker room.
- 31:20Speaker 1: And I think that is very important to point that out,
- 31:22Speaker 1: given the reputation that the Eagle fan is concer.
- 31:25Speaker 3: I did notice it. So you're right, So you're doing
- 31:27Speaker 3: this at the game, yeah, show and I had the
- 31:31Speaker 3: sound up and they were showing the crowd they were clapping,
- 31:33Speaker 3: So yeah, that was good. Right, Yeah, it's you were
- 31:37Speaker 3: there for Lanner Weaver's injury, right, were you in the
- 31:39Speaker 3: press box? Oh?
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:41Speaker 3: Yeah? That one, that one, because if you know Weave
- 31:45Speaker 3: forty three, he was the nicest guy in the world
- 31:48Speaker 3: essentially in his career. I think he tried to come back,
- 31:50Speaker 3: but I don't remember what happened, but we were there
- 31:53Speaker 3: and the media is not supposed to say anything, but
- 31:55Speaker 3: we all gasped. We we just your human emotion comes out.
- 31:59Speaker 3: That hurt like that was really difficult to see. Serious injury.
- 32:03Speaker 3: And with Scatiboo, he he bent back both ankles and
- 32:07Speaker 3: it wound up being his right ankles. Very scary. Man.
- 32:10Speaker 3: You feel bad for him, but we wish him well
- 32:12Speaker 3: and the giants well. After that, that and you saw
- 32:14Speaker 3: Jackson you actually probably din't see unless you're watching TV.
- 32:16Speaker 3: Jackson Dart was really shooking up about it.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I know, oh yeah, I tell you. I don't know
- 32:20Speaker 1: if you if people watching on TV. So, but Khialia
- 32:22Speaker 1: Ringo was walking to the sideline and he I thought
- 32:27Speaker 1: he got hurt actually because it was still a little confusion, yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 1: as to what happened, because it look like Scatibo didn't
- 32:31Speaker 1: realize that if he was trying to get up or
- 32:33Speaker 1: there was a second of that felt like an eternity
- 32:36Speaker 1: of uncertainty and Khilley Ringo just dropped to the ground
- 32:40Speaker 1: and I'm like, oh no, did he get hurt on
- 32:42Speaker 1: that play too? And I just think he was he
- 32:45Speaker 1: was in that scrum and he saw it and it
- 32:47Speaker 1: reminded me. I mean, you have to be a little
- 32:49Speaker 1: bit of our age or older to remember when Lawrence
- 32:53Speaker 1: Taylor broke Joe thisman's leg in half and he came
- 32:57Speaker 1: out of.
- 32:58Speaker 2: The scrum like scary.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I think people thought he was celebrating a sack, but no,
- 33:02Speaker 1: he was going get help get you know, he's waving
- 33:04Speaker 1: his hands and he was freaking out. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 33:08Speaker 1: And I think that Ringo I interpreted that reaction too.
- 33:11Speaker 2: I think he just fell to the ground because he
- 33:13Speaker 2: couldn't believe he must.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, players, it's there's a brotherhood for football. You know,
- 33:21Speaker 3: you want to beat them. Now you talk about ot
- 33:24Speaker 3: we love to knock the guy out of the game,
- 33:25Speaker 3: but you just hope he's fine next week. You just
- 33:26Speaker 3: want the guy out of the game. That this is
- 33:27Speaker 3: scary stuff. So I appreciate you bringing that up.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely.
- 33:32Speaker 3: The fans held themselves well there. So Yeah. Anyway, the
- 33:35Speaker 3: Eagles are six and two. They going to the bye.
- 33:37Speaker 3: Their next game will be the Monday night in Week ten.
- 33:40Speaker 3: But we got a ton of content for you this week.
- 33:42Speaker 3: We're gonna do a bye week self scout Offensive defense.
- 33:46Speaker 3: Did he Ray Didinger and Derek and will have their
- 33:48Speaker 3: show effect. Will they do a a Eagles bye week plan?
- 33:53Speaker 3: I'm very interesting.
- 33:55Speaker 1: I'm gonna yes, I'm gonna talk to them about that.
- 33:57Speaker 1: I mean, it's the bye week for the Eagles, but
- 33:58Speaker 1: not for us. We will have the tap, right, we
- 34:01Speaker 1: will have Birds weekly, and yes, I'm gonna have them
- 34:03Speaker 1: do their normal two episodes, one where they recap this
- 34:06Speaker 1: game and we'll other going into the bye week.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I want them to give their thoughts.
- 34:10Speaker 1: I really want Ray and de Gunn to kind of
- 34:12Speaker 1: go back to other teams that they can remember that
- 34:14Speaker 1: had to work issues out and what they remember about that.
- 34:17Speaker 2: So they'll do that.
- 34:18Speaker 1: To Checko is going to take a little break, but
- 34:20Speaker 1: he's gonna have a bunch of daily to Checko to
- 34:23Speaker 1: Checko dailies that sort of recap the first half. Well,
- 34:27Speaker 1: there will be inside the data, they'll be inside the Birds.
- 34:29Speaker 1: I think we're pretty much. Oh, and we're going to
- 34:32Speaker 1: put out our conversation that we had for our Patreon members,
- 34:35Speaker 1: a short version of our chat with Dan Hatman on
- 34:39Speaker 1: what it was like to be an NFL pro Scout
- 34:41Speaker 1: slash Advance Scout. That there'll be a short version for
- 34:45Speaker 1: that on the mainstream platform and pretty much everything. Now
- 34:48Speaker 1: the week after that Monday Tuesday, we're gonna also have
- 34:51Speaker 1: some good interesting content as before the team gets back
- 34:54Speaker 1: together for their Wednesday, you know.
- 34:56Speaker 3: Prey deadline.
- 34:57Speaker 1: By the way, it'll be Thursday, right because Monday next
- 35:00Speaker 1: game is right.
- 35:01Speaker 3: It probably will do something on Monday. Teams usually do
- 35:03Speaker 3: after the buy. It could be like short like they
- 35:05Speaker 3: dreaded ten ten to ten. But yeah, trade deadline. The
- 35:08Speaker 3: trade deadline is a week from this Tuesday at four
- 35:10Speaker 3: pm Eastern. So yeah, we'll have oh, by the way,
- 35:14Speaker 3: real quick for our show, the Pro Football Report on WBCB.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Don't you have a guest in Martin.
- 35:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we got Barrett Brooks, former Eagles offensive lineman and
- 35:23Speaker 1: star at NBC Sports Philadelphia, is gonna join me, and
- 35:26Speaker 1: I think maybe Andrew.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Andrew.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm at the Chikey's and Pizza Marlton six o'clock to
- 35:31Speaker 1: seven o'clock.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And of course Greig Cosso will be doing all his
- 35:33Speaker 2: normal stuff this week and next week.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Wait, so okay, all right, that's gonna do it for
- 35:37Speaker 1: the Inside the Birds post game show for Adam Kaplan,
- 35:40Speaker 1: I'm Jeff Mosher. Catch you all on the next one,
