Latest / The Epstein Chronicles / Mark Epstein Expresses His Doubts About The DOJ's New Found Interest In Ghislaine Maxwell
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Now that the DOJ has announced that they're
- 0:08Speaker 1: going to have a meeting with Glenn Maxwell, of course,
- 0:12Speaker 1: people have some opinions about what's going on. And one
- 0:15Speaker 1: of those people is Jeffrey Epstein's brother, who claims that
- 0:20Speaker 1: the motivation behind the DOJ meeting with Glenn Maxwell has
- 0:24Speaker 1: nothing to do with what she knows. And that plays
- 0:28Speaker 1: into the theory that all of this is nothing more
- 0:30Speaker 1: than another half measure employed by the DOJ to try
- 0:35Speaker 1: and get people off of their back because they haven't
- 0:37Speaker 1: been transparent when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein like they
- 0:40Speaker 1: said they were going to be. So instead, they're going
- 0:43Speaker 1: to tell us they're having a meeting with Glenn Maxwell,
- 0:46Speaker 1: a meeting that none of us is privy to, by
- 0:48Speaker 1: the way, a meeting where we have no idea what's
- 0:50Speaker 1: going to be said, what questions are going to be asked,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and what kind of answers are going to be given.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And I don't know about you folks, but when it
- 0:58Speaker 1: comes to this topic especially, the days of trust me
- 1:01Speaker 1: bro are long over. So if the government wants people
- 1:04Speaker 1: to move on from this, then the simplest way to
- 1:07Speaker 1: do that is to release the documents. Release all the files,
- 1:11Speaker 1: release the dossiers, release everything you have. But instead we
- 1:15Speaker 1: get this grandstanding about Ghislaine Maxwell, who's already a convicted felon,
- 1:19Speaker 1: who perjured herself by the way. And the grand jury
- 1:23Speaker 1: documents that nobody even asked for? I mean, look, I'm
- 1:25Speaker 1: not trying to be cynical, right? Because all the transparency
- 1:28Speaker 1: we can get, great, I'm all for it. But let's
- 1:32Speaker 1: be honest about the conversation. And let's be honest about
- 1:35Speaker 1: the motivation here. If the motivation was full transparency, we
- 1:39Speaker 1: wouldn't need all this bread and circus. So with that
- 1:42Speaker 1: in mind, why don't we hop into this article from
- 1:44Speaker 1: the Daily Mail and see what they have to say
- 1:46Speaker 1: about Jeffrey Epstein's brother. Headline. Jeffrey Epstein's brother claims the
- 1:52Speaker 1: true motive behind Trump's DOJ meeting, Glenn Maxwell, has nothing
- 1:56Speaker 1: to do with what she knows. This article was authored
- 2:00Speaker 1: by Nick Allen. And I agree with that statement, honestly.
- 2:05Speaker 1: What could they possibly think Glenn Maxwell could give them?
- 2:09Speaker 1: Do they really think that she has actionable intelligence at
- 2:12Speaker 1: this point? Wouldn't there have to be another investigation opened
- 2:15Speaker 1: already for Glenn Maxwell to offer up some sort of
- 2:19Speaker 1: compromise on someone because you can't just make claims about
- 2:22Speaker 1: people without any evidence right so does she have corroborating
- 2:26Speaker 1: evidence to back up what she's saying remember she's already
- 2:30Speaker 1: perjured herself and been convicted for it this is what
- 2:33Speaker 1: you call a damaged witness folks and if somebody was
- 2:36Speaker 1: ever to get charged with a crime based on what
- 2:39Speaker 1: glaine maxwell said do you understand the field day that
- 2:42Speaker 1: the lawyers would have with that person on cross-examination if
- 2:46Speaker 1: you think what we saw in the diddy trial was
- 2:48Speaker 1: wild Wait till you get a load of this. Because
- 2:51Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell will get absolutely torched on the stand. You
- 2:55Speaker 1: can trot out some real sick people. You can trot
- 2:58Speaker 1: out murderers. You can trot out drug dealers. Whatever, terrorists.
- 3:02Speaker 1: But people who prey on children? I mean, for real?
- 3:05Speaker 1: I don't know if the DOJ has thought this one through.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's brother has accused the White House of a
- 3:11Speaker 1: cover-up after Donald Trump's Justice Department said it would speak
- 3:15Speaker 1: to Glenn Maxwell in jail. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanch
- 3:19Speaker 1: revealed on Tuesday that he expects to meet with Maxwell
- 3:22Speaker 1: in the coming days to see if she has information
- 3:25Speaker 1: about anyone who has committed crimes against victims. Well, don't
- 3:29Speaker 1: you think if she had that information, she would have
- 3:31Speaker 1: ponied it up by now? The time for dealing is
- 3:34Speaker 1: usually right after you're arrested. But Maxwell didn't do any
- 3:37Speaker 1: of that, did she? She had nothing to say. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: she had plenty of time to try and out Jeffrey
- 3:42Speaker 1: Epstein and tell people what he was up to. She
- 3:45Speaker 1: never did. And that's because I suspect she has nothing
- 3:49Speaker 1: to offer. Nothing of consequence. Nothing that's going to move
- 3:52Speaker 1: the DOJ to reopen this investigation. The more I think
- 3:57Speaker 1: about it, the more I come to believe that this
- 3:59Speaker 1: is nothing more than a diversion. Just another way to
- 4:02Speaker 1: keep us busy and to try to placate us. But
- 4:06Speaker 1: I don't think it's going to have the effect that
- 4:07Speaker 1: they think it's going to have. And that's because people
- 4:10Speaker 1: want full transparency at this point. And all this half-stepping
- 4:14Speaker 1: isn't going to cut it. Maxwell is currently serving a
- 4:16Speaker 1: 20-year prison sentence after being convicted for sex trafficking of
- 4:21Speaker 1: minors on behalf of Epstein. The move to speak to
- 4:24Speaker 1: her is part of an ongoing Justice Department effort to
- 4:27Speaker 1: cast itself as transparent in the Epstein case, which has
- 4:31Speaker 1: been shrouded in conspiracy theories. And you know what? A
- 4:34Speaker 1: lot of those conspiracy theories, in my opinion, are a
- 4:37Speaker 1: part of the PSYOP. So that they can point to
- 4:40Speaker 1: those conspiracies and the weirdos who spread them And be like, look,
- 4:44Speaker 1: this whole entire investigation is nothing more than a hoax.
- 4:47Speaker 1: And you got these morons out there that are saying
- 4:50Speaker 1: all kinds of crazy wild shit that is completely untrue.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And all of that feeds into the greater disinformation effort.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And make no mistake, folks, they're very good at what
- 4:59Speaker 1: they do. I mean, look how quickly they have MAGA
- 5:03Speaker 1: talking about other things. For years, all you heard from MAGA,
- 5:06Speaker 1: people like Liz Crokin, was about Jeffrey Epstein this, the island,
- 5:10Speaker 1: about Tom Hanks, about adrenochrome, all this nonsense. None of
- 5:15Speaker 1: it is true. And now that Trump is calling it
- 5:18Speaker 1: a hoax, you have all these people out here who
- 5:21Speaker 1: did nothing but talk shit about Epstein this, Epstein that.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Now they're on board calling it a hoax. Meanwhile, the
- 5:28Speaker 1: real hoax is that these people acted like they ever
- 5:31Speaker 1: even cared. Because they never cared about Epstein. They never
- 5:34Speaker 1: cared about the survivors. They never cared about anything. All
- 5:38Speaker 1: they cared about was their stupid-ass Q-run fantasy coming true.
- 5:42Speaker 1: And now that the story doesn't fit with their warped
- 5:45Speaker 1: sense of reality, well, it's just a big hoax. And
- 5:48Speaker 1: everybody's out to get Trump. It's truly pathetic. It follows
- 5:52Speaker 1: the fierce backlash from parts of Trump's base over an
- 5:55Speaker 1: earlier refusal by the administration to release additional records in
- 5:59Speaker 1: the investigation. Attorney General Pam Bondi is face-mounting pressure from
- 6:03Speaker 1: Trump supporters to release all material related to Epstein, who
- 6:07Speaker 1: killed himself, allegedly, in a New York jail cell in
- 6:11Speaker 1: 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. A lawyer
- 6:15Speaker 1: for Maxwell said she would cooperate with the Justice Department.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I can confirm that we are in discussions with the
- 6:22Speaker 1: government and that Ghislaine will always testify truthfully, her lawyer
- 6:26Speaker 1: David Oscar Marquez said. except when she doesn't. Yo, stop
- 6:30Speaker 1: trying to rewrite history. This lady has already committed perjury. Like,
- 6:35Speaker 1: are people living in a fucking alternate timeline or something?
- 6:38Speaker 1: Do people really think this shit's going to work out
- 6:40Speaker 1: for them? Do they think they're going to just pump
- 6:42Speaker 1: this bullshit and nobody's going to challenge it? Because that's
- 6:46Speaker 1: not how this works. If Glenn Maxwell is truthful, I'm
- 6:49Speaker 1: a member of the fucking royal family of sod. We're
- 6:54Speaker 1: grateful to President Trump for his commitment to uncovering the
- 6:57Speaker 1: truth in this case. Oh yeah, a big time commitment.
- 7:01Speaker 1: The commitment is so deep and so strong that he
- 7:05Speaker 1: ended the investigation. Save the gaslighting for somebody else, David, Oscar, Marcus.
- 7:12Speaker 1: But Mark Epstein, brother of the disgraced late financier, claimed
- 7:16Speaker 1: it was the latest effort to distract attention from unpublished
- 7:19Speaker 1: evidence and the circumstances surrounding the death of his brother.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I agree. I agree 1000%, and I cooked up a
- 7:28Speaker 1: whole ass episode talking about it that I'll be uploading
- 7:31Speaker 1: in a little bit. Two weeks ago, a months-long review
- 7:36Speaker 1: conducted by the Justice Department and FBI concluded that Epstein
- 7:39Speaker 1: died by suicide. Mark Epstein maintains his brother was killed.
- 7:44Speaker 1: He said they'll talk to her and ask her her
- 7:47Speaker 1: favorite color so they can say we talked to her.
- 7:50Speaker 1: It depends what the conversation is about. Maybe she'll be
- 7:53Speaker 1: afraid to speak. Maybe they'll hold it against her and
- 7:56Speaker 1: turn down her appeal. Mark Epstein said he knew Maxwell
- 7:59Speaker 1: in the 90s, but had not spoken to her for
- 8:01Speaker 1: several decades. But he believes she would have information about
- 8:05Speaker 1: interactions between Epstein and Trump. She could certainly verify that
- 8:09Speaker 1: Trump was in Jeffrey Epstein's office many times, he said. Well, yeah.
- 8:14Speaker 1: That's been confirmed right here on this podcast by Maria Farmer.
- 8:18Speaker 1: We're talking about years ago. And you know what? Later
- 8:21Speaker 1: on today, I'll repost that interview I did with Maria
- 8:24Speaker 1: so you can hear from her yourself. Because it seems
- 8:26Speaker 1: like a lot of people are trying to bend reality
- 8:28Speaker 1: right now. And a lot of people that have no
- 8:31Speaker 1: idea what they're even talking about. And what's even crazier
- 8:35Speaker 1: is how confident they say the bullshit that they're saying.
- 8:40Speaker 1: He claimed the White House statement on Monday that Trump
- 8:42Speaker 1: had never been to his brother's office was the biggest
- 8:45Speaker 1: crap I've ever heard. Look, I wasn't in the office.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I don't know. But I've heard it directly said to
- 8:51Speaker 1: me that this is true. And this was all before
- 8:54Speaker 1: this hubbub about Trump and Epstein exploded. We're talking about
- 8:58Speaker 1: years ago. And I think context matters, right? Now, if
- 9:01Speaker 1: you're talking about things that have popped up in the
- 9:04Speaker 1: last two weeks, always keep in mind that there's a
- 9:07Speaker 1: lot of politics at play. And people definitely are trying
- 9:10Speaker 1: to hamstring Trump when it comes to the Epstein situation.
- 9:14Speaker 1: But it's all of his own making. If he would
- 9:17Speaker 1: just release all the files, he would end this shit tomorrow.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And not only that, he'd be able to spike the football. Look,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I am the most transparent president in the history of
- 9:26Speaker 1: the United States. Even though my name was in these
- 9:29Speaker 1: files because I knew Epstein, I still released everything. But no,
- 9:34Speaker 1: it's tantrums, it's turning on his base, and it's acting
- 9:38Speaker 1: like this whole entire thing's a hoax. I would speak
- 9:40Speaker 1: to Jeffrey, and he'd say he's with Trump. I know
- 9:43Speaker 1: people in his office saw him there too. He said,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and that's where Maria saw him? At the office. The
- 9:50Speaker 1: White House referred to a request for comment to the
- 9:52Speaker 1: Justice Department. The Justice Department did not comment beyond blanche
- 9:56Speaker 1: earlier statement blanche said this department of justice does not
- 10:00Speaker 1: shy away from uncomfortable truths nor from the responsibility to
- 10:04Speaker 1: pursue justice wherever the facts may lead talk about a
- 10:08Speaker 1: hollow ass statement all this talk all the time and
- 10:11Speaker 1: it's never followed up by any action He said in
- 10:14Speaker 1: the recent Justice Department and FBI review, no evidence was
- 10:18Speaker 1: uncovered that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.
- 10:23Speaker 1: So why are you going to talk to Maxwell? If
- 10:25Speaker 1: there is no investigation going on, if there is nothing
- 10:28Speaker 1: to be found, why are you going to talk to Maxwell?
- 10:31Speaker 1: I'll tell you why. It's performative politics. It's to throw
- 10:35Speaker 1: you a bone. And it's so the administration can try
- 10:38Speaker 1: and take some of the heat off themselves. Blanche added,
- 10:41Speaker 1: President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence.
- 10:45Speaker 1: If Glenn Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed
- 10:48Speaker 1: crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear
- 10:53Speaker 1: what she has to say. And why are you going
- 10:55Speaker 1: to the abuser? There are a ton of survivors out
- 10:57Speaker 1: there who are still alive. Why don't you talk to them?
- 11:00Speaker 1: I'll tell you why. Because they don't want the real truth.
- 11:03Speaker 1: What they want is to obfuscate and kick the can
- 11:06Speaker 1: down the road a little bit more, hoping that you'll forget.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Speaking in the Oval Office on Tuesday, Trump addressed the
- 11:12Speaker 1: DOJ plan to speak to Maxwell, saying he was not
- 11:16Speaker 1: aware of it, but seemed appropriate to do so. He said,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I don't know anything about it. I don't really follow
- 11:22Speaker 1: it that much. It's sort of a witch hunt. Trump
- 11:25Speaker 1: has long said he was not a fan of Jeffrey Epstein,
- 11:28Speaker 1: that he had a falling out with him around 20
- 11:30Speaker 1: years ago, and never spoke to him again. Last week,
- 11:33Speaker 1: the president sued media magnate Rupert Murdoch in the Wall
- 11:36Speaker 1: Street Journal after it published the story about Trump's alleged
- 11:40Speaker 1: friendship with Epstein. Meanwhile, some of the president's supporters have
- 11:44Speaker 1: continued to pursue conspiracy theories that Epstein had a list
- 11:48Speaker 1: of high-profile clients. The Justice Department and FBI review concluded
- 11:54Speaker 1: there was no such client list. I have told you
- 11:56Speaker 1: from the very beginning there was no list. One thing
- 11:59Speaker 1: you folks have to understand is that we're dealing with
- 12:02Speaker 1: a lot of disinformation and misdirection. And that's all by design.
- 12:07Speaker 1: They want it to be confusing. They want it to
- 12:09Speaker 1: sound like some crazy conspiracy theory. And that's why the
- 12:12Speaker 1: President of the United States has now started calling it
- 12:15Speaker 1: a hoax and a witch hunt. Meanwhile, this man's own
- 12:18Speaker 1: DOJ has already said that there is a thousand victims
- 12:21Speaker 1: of Jeffrey Epstein. Big time witch hunt, huh folks? Hell
- 12:25Speaker 1: of a hoax. Trump has urged his supporters not to
- 12:29Speaker 1: be taken in by what he called a Democrat scam
- 12:32Speaker 1: and hoax, which was actually pretty boring stuff. Yeah, Jeffrey Epstein,
- 12:36Speaker 1: the most boring story in history. If you're somebody that's
- 12:39Speaker 1: in the files, if you're somebody that broke bread with him,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I can assure you that Jeffrey Epstein and his abuse
- 12:46Speaker 1: was anything but boring when it comes to the survivors
- 12:50Speaker 1: who survived his bullshit. Some of Trump's most staunch supporters
- 12:53Speaker 1: in recent weeks have called on Bondi to resign after
- 12:57Speaker 1: she backtracked on a promise she made earlier this year.
- 13:00Speaker 1: She said her department would release additional material, including a
- 13:04Speaker 1: lot of names and a lot of flight logs in
- 13:06Speaker 1: connection with Epstein's clients. Since then, at Trump's direction, Bondi
- 13:11Speaker 1: and Blanche have asked a federal court for permission to
- 13:14Speaker 1: unseal grand jury transcripts in the case of both Epstein
- 13:18Speaker 1: and Maxwell. However, legal experts have said those transcripts will
- 13:23Speaker 1: not contain the types of material being sought by Trump supporters.
- 13:27Speaker 1: A source who spoke with the Daily Mail said that Maxwell...
- 13:30Speaker 1: will be more than happy to testify before Congress. No
- 13:34Speaker 1: one from the government has ever asked her to share
- 13:36Speaker 1: what she knows, the source said. Well, because she's a
- 13:39Speaker 1: liar and a child molester. Are you fucking kidding me
- 13:42Speaker 1: right now? The audacity, man. She remains the only person
- 13:47Speaker 1: to be jailed in connection to Epstein, and she would
- 13:50Speaker 1: welcome the chance to tell the American public the truth.
- 13:53Speaker 1: She had her chance to do that a long time ago,
- 13:55Speaker 1: and she never did. And anybody who's out here telling
- 13:58Speaker 1: you that Glenn Maxwell is going to be the arbiter
- 14:01Speaker 1: of truth, they either have no idea what they're talking about,
- 14:04Speaker 1: or they're in on the cover-up. Because the real truth
- 14:08Speaker 1: of what happened with Jeffrey Epstein isn't going to be
- 14:10Speaker 1: found in Glenn Maxwell's jail cell. It's going to be
- 14:14Speaker 1: found in those files and those dossiers you refuse to release.
- 14:18Speaker 1: And until we have transparency, there is no moving on.
- 14:24Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
- 14:26Speaker 1: be found in the description box.
