Luna: 浪好大. So if I look at the ocean and see huge waves, I say 浪好大. Lucas: Exactly. Let's try it slowly: 浪好大.... 浪好大. Luna: 浪好大. Lucas: Perfect. Now, what do you want to do when the waves are big? Luna: I want to swim. How do I say that? Lucas: 我想游水. Let's break it down: 我想 means I want, 游水 means to swim. So 我想游水. Luna: 我想游水. I want to swim. Lucas: Right. And if you really like swimming, you can say 我鍾意游水. Luna: 我鍾意游水. I like swimming. Lucas: Good. Now, let's put it together. Imagine you're at the beach and the waves are big. Luna, what do you say? Luna: 浪好大. 我想游水. Lucas: Perfect. Now, if you want to ask someone if they can swim, you say 你識唔識游水? Luna: 你識唔識游水? That's asking 'do you know how to swim?' Lucas: Exactly. 識 means to know how to, 唔識 is don't know how to. So 你識唔識游水? Luna: 你識唔識游水?... 我識游水. Lucas: Great. And if swimming makes you happy, you say 游水好開心. Luna: 游水好開心. Swimming is so fun.
