- 0:03Speaker 1: This is a podcast called twenty five whists stalking for
- 0:08Speaker 1: and they go wearing a whist So.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it's too bad, But what did you expect.
- 0:13Speaker 3: It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Twenty wine wine.
- 0:18Speaker 4: Oh boy. So here's my question. Do you think you
- 0:24Speaker 4: can eat seventy hot dogs in twenty four hours? Aside
- 0:28Speaker 4: from seventy Oh that's what Joy Chestna did seventy point five.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Yeah, seventy and a half. Yeah, I don't think.
- 0:34Speaker 4: I need twenty four hours.
- 0:35Speaker 1: No, I don't they gonna do that. I love hot
- 0:38Speaker 1: dogs and I can eat the crap out of the
- 0:40Speaker 1: hot dogs, but that's just that's too much.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Four No, in twenty four hours.
- 0:45Speaker 4: I'm just saying I eat the crap out hot dogs.
- 0:46Speaker 1: That's four macs.
- 0:47Speaker 4: That's meaning before going Oh I went hard. But I
- 0:51Speaker 4: just wondered if you could do it in twenty four hours,
- 0:53Speaker 4: because I don't think I could. I don't think so,
- 0:55Speaker 4: because you're talking about thirty five and twelve, So let's
- 0:59Speaker 4: just say thirty six, eighteen and six. Okay, gosh, so
- 1:06Speaker 4: then you're talking about three an hour, but you have
- 1:08Speaker 4: to have three an hour for twenty four hours.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Man, and I might be able to do that now.
- 1:13Speaker 1: The way you broke it down helps a lot, because
- 1:16Speaker 1: three an hour, you think about it, and if we
- 1:19Speaker 1: talking jumbo dogs, we're talking about ballpark franks, Like what
- 1:22Speaker 1: side Nathan?
- 1:23Speaker 4: Nathan's dude, I think I think we can. I think
- 1:27Speaker 4: I would pay you to go after this. Okay, if
- 1:31Speaker 4: you got it?
- 1:32Speaker 1: How much did Joey win?
- 1:34Speaker 4: No, that's not the point, because seventy in ten minutes.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I watched the whole thing. I watched all.
- 1:41Speaker 1: Things in ten minutes. That's ridiculous.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Five hundred bucks if you could eat whoa whoa seven,
- 1:47Speaker 4: If you can eat seventy and twenty four hours.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but okay, hold on, hold on, rack it up,
- 1:53Speaker 1: because you say it three an hour, that's a car
- 1:55Speaker 1: that's across the clock.
- 1:57Speaker 4: But also you're gonna be able to eat more than
- 1:58Speaker 4: three an hour because I think if right now I could,
- 2:00Speaker 4: if you just put them in front of me, I
- 2:02Speaker 4: could probably eat five uncomfortably. So obviously you're going to
- 2:10Speaker 4: have to make up for the fact that you're going
- 2:13Speaker 4: to sleep some right. I have to say, can you
- 2:15Speaker 4: just put this in the back of your mind let
- 2:16Speaker 4: me think about it, because I can propose this on
- 2:18Speaker 4: tomorrow's radio show too. We can stream the whole thing.
- 2:21Speaker 4: Let's think about it, and I give you five hundred
- 2:23Speaker 4: bucks if you could do seventy and twenty four hours.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I think that's a pretty good challenge.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think it's doable.
- 2:30Speaker 2: When I break it down three, I think it sounds. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 2: it sounds not necessarily easier than it is.
- 2:36Speaker 4: But well, he's the goat, right, But but let me
- 2:41Speaker 4: break it down more here here?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Will you factor in sep.
- 2:44Speaker 2: You've tried harder challenges. I think food challenges really pretty good, dude.
- 2:48Speaker 2: There are some what was the oh you ate the
- 2:52Speaker 2: chicken or shrimp?
- 2:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, popcorn shrimp as that from Popeyes. Yeah, but
- 2:57Speaker 1: see bones, can you calculate, like take this sleep out
- 3:00Speaker 1: if I took the eight hours off.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Because for sleep seventy hot dogs in twenty four hours
- 3:06Speaker 4: is get this, it's not even three hot dogs an hour,
- 3:10Speaker 4: So it's two point nine two hot dogs per hour?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Well, zero point nine that's pretty much three.
- 3:14Speaker 4: But once you eat ten, it takes one away, right,
- 3:17Speaker 4: So I mean so it does matter ten.
- 3:18Speaker 1: It's a lot, though I don't know if I can
- 3:20Speaker 1: eat ten in an hour.
- 3:21Speaker 4: Not an hour. I'm saying in general, so when you
- 3:23Speaker 4: eat your tenth one, it does take one away. So okay,
- 3:27Speaker 4: so let you want to sleep for eight hour.
- 3:28Speaker 1: I want to sleep for eight hours, and I can
- 3:30Speaker 1: even have hot dogs for breakfast. Right, I'm gonna have
- 3:32Speaker 1: to have all that.
- 3:32Speaker 2: You'd have to that's the only thing you can eat
- 3:34Speaker 2: all day.
- 3:34Speaker 1: So take the eight hours away. How many would I
- 3:37Speaker 1: have to eat an hour?
- 3:38Speaker 4: Okay, so if you're sleep, if you're sleeping, this isn't bad.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Come on, come on, if you're sleeping for eight hours,
- 3:48Speaker 4: sixteen waking hours, So that's seventy hot dogs in sixteen hours.
- 3:52Speaker 4: It's four point three hot dogs per hour with eight
- 3:55Speaker 4: hours sleep and rest, which means you're gonna wake up
- 3:57Speaker 4: hungry again.
- 3:58Speaker 1: Four point three. That's so doable.
- 4:00Speaker 4: You will be living a slower and sadder Nathan's hot dog.
- 4:03Speaker 4: You need to come to twenty.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Four hour long. But then again, man, I feel like
- 4:08Speaker 1: my stomach like Joey. He trains for this, like Joey,
- 4:12Speaker 1: like you know, jag j j dog trains for this,
- 4:17Speaker 1: and so like, that's why.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I'm not making you do it in ten minutes. He
- 4:20Speaker 4: trains to do it in ten minutes.
- 4:21Speaker 2: That's different.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Do you don't think you need training for twenty four hours?
- 4:24Speaker 4: I think it'd be uncomfortable, But I don't think you.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I think you could do if he can do it
- 4:29Speaker 4: in ten minutes with training, I think if you push yourself,
- 4:33Speaker 4: which I love pushing myself, you could do it and
- 4:36Speaker 4: make five hundred dollars.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I'd be great use five hundred dollars.
- 4:39Speaker 4: So Joey Chestnut, champion of Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Competition,
- 4:43Speaker 4: his tryumpher return to fourth July competition to forty one
- 4:46Speaker 4: years old seventy one. Here he is after winning his
- 4:49Speaker 4: title from bleacher Report, go ahead.
- 4:51Speaker 1: I was excited about being here, and man, I wish
- 4:55Speaker 1: I had him more observed guys, but.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Year, so obviously it wasn't last year, and the rating
- 5:04Speaker 4: suffered tremendously because the greatest ever wasn't able to play. Yeah,
- 5:08Speaker 4: it'd be like if the Lakers were in the championship
- 5:10Speaker 4: and Lebron couldn't play watching the Lakers without Lebron? Who
- 5:13Speaker 4: wants to watch Austin Reeves for more than a quarter.
- 5:16Speaker 4: So yeah, congrats to Joey Chestnut and maybe congrats to
- 5:18Speaker 4: Eddie Kay.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Let me think about it. There is definitely a possibility.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I think you can do it. I think you can
- 5:24Speaker 4: do six or seven at a time and then have
- 5:26Speaker 4: a couple hours where you just do like two.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I just chill a little bit. Yeah, leisurely eat.
- 5:29Speaker 4: I mean I think you could eight in an hour
- 5:31Speaker 4: and take an hour off all I'm doing math. I
- 5:33Speaker 4: think you do sixteen two hours and then take two
- 5:36Speaker 4: hours off.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Crazy dude.
- 5:39Speaker 4: I always listening to this song because I was doing
- 5:41Speaker 4: some dance party research, which I do on Monday to
- 5:45Speaker 4: kind of put all the songs in for the Friday
- 5:46Speaker 4: morning dance party, and I was looking at this song.
- 5:49Speaker 4: You'll know it, Edie cause I've played it before. It's
- 5:51Speaker 4: uh the Pitbull Fireball.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You know.
- 5:56Speaker 4: There's a line guys playing some of it. I laughed
- 5:58Speaker 4: out loud. I didn't know this is the line of
- 6:00Speaker 4: the song. The line is because it was Fireball, I came.
- 6:05Speaker 4: I Well, I saw, I came, I conquered or should
- 6:08Speaker 4: I say I saw I conquered? I came? The line
- 6:19Speaker 4: is I saw, I came, I conquered, or should I
- 6:21Speaker 4: say I saw I conquered? I came?
- 6:22Speaker 5: Hey, you know in the writing room, that's crazy that's funny.
- 6:33Speaker 5: That line's crazy.
- 6:34Speaker 1: When did you catch that by listening? Reading?
- 6:36Speaker 4: And I was listening. I don't read the lyrics.
- 6:38Speaker 1: I know, well, you know you can listen. And we
- 6:40Speaker 1: listened to that song five hundred times. Well, I'll never
- 6:42Speaker 1: catched that same. I never caught it. And I was
- 6:44Speaker 1: here this morning Fireball.
- 6:48Speaker 4: And I just had game. I was like, did he
- 6:50Speaker 4: just say what I thought? I looked it up and
- 6:52Speaker 4: that's what it was, and I wrote that down to
- 6:54Speaker 4: make a note there. Uh, we were off last week.
- 6:57Speaker 4: I did an episode by myself, and.
- 7:00Speaker 1: You're like, I realized I can do this all by myself. Well,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and I realized it was good home and.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Turned a microphone on and talked. But I made a
- 7:10Speaker 4: bunch of notes of stuff that we should talk about.
- 7:12Speaker 4: So I first like to start by saying, here, this
- 7:15Speaker 4: is on camera to all you Kentucky fans. You are
- 7:19Speaker 4: the most sensitive group of fans by the way, I
- 7:22Speaker 4: put you at number one on the worst list for
- 7:24Speaker 4: the exact reason that you're showing right now. You are
- 7:29Speaker 4: so sensitive. Not a single other fan base other than haha, yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 4: that's pretty accurate reached out to me upset, except for
- 7:36Speaker 4: Kentucky fans. Not only that, Kentucky fans. You have like
- 7:40Speaker 4: a little little show, live show, and you show it
- 7:42Speaker 4: on the big screen and get the reactions. You guys
- 7:45Speaker 4: are so sensitive. That's why nobody likes you. You're so sensitive.
- 7:50Speaker 4: Oh boo boo, Like have a little fun. Yeah that
- 7:55Speaker 4: was that.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I really loved uh. And we have your coach now.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Little that is great, just again, all done and fun.
- 8:05Speaker 4: Like I know a lot of Kentucky basketball fans that
- 8:07Speaker 4: are close friends of mine, but as a group, that
- 8:11Speaker 4: fan base is really annoying. And what I said was
- 8:14Speaker 4: they wouldn't be annoying if they didn't win. Like the
- 8:17Speaker 4: way fan bases get annoying is because they win a
- 8:20Speaker 4: lot and then we pay attention to them, and then
- 8:22Speaker 4: they get then they're over the top. So if you're
- 8:25Speaker 4: not successful, you're not annoying. That's why nobody hate darktsang.
- 8:27Speaker 4: We don't win enough. Even if Kentucky loses for no one,
- 8:32Speaker 4: they're gonna they're annoying. Because I've had it. I'm out
- 8:37Speaker 4: Kentucky never wearing blue again because of you, just in
- 8:39Speaker 4: general blooming and the color from my palette.
- 8:41Speaker 1: They got pretty but her, But yeah, big.
- 8:44Speaker 4: Time, but hurt they got but hurt about it. Listen,
- 8:47Speaker 4: you want to see Kentucky sports social media pop off?
- 8:51Speaker 4: Put me on it. That's the only way it pops
- 8:53Speaker 4: off is when I want your social media because I
- 8:56Speaker 4: want to look at it. I want to looked at
- 8:58Speaker 4: all their stuff. And it's like, it's fine, fine, it
- 9:00Speaker 4: is fine. Put me on it.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Boom million views. Did they play something with you on
- 9:04Speaker 2: it or did they play that clip?
- 9:06Speaker 4: Yeah, Matt Jones did a whole thing like under a
- 9:09Speaker 4: tent with all that, and he was showing all their
- 9:10Speaker 4: faces as I was doing it, and it was just
- 9:12Speaker 4: and it was going like crazy, and at first I
- 9:14Speaker 4: was like, Nah, that's fun. Then people started like really
- 9:17Speaker 4: getting upset about I was like, are they that sensitive?
- 9:19Speaker 4: You can't even take a joke like Cowboys fans, Tennessee fans,
- 9:23Speaker 4: everybody else on the list was like, yeah, you're pretty
- 9:26Speaker 4: right for a reason. You think that for a reason. Yeah,
- 9:29Speaker 4: I get it now. Kentucky fans they freaking cry. They
- 9:31Speaker 4: did go fund me to kill me with all their sixteeth.
- 9:35Speaker 4: They go funded a hit man. They they're kill me anyway,
- 9:38Speaker 4: Kentucky fan shot up. What else I was watching a
- 9:44Speaker 4: guy who was tracking w NBA players and what bets
- 9:47Speaker 4: to make by tracking their periods.
- 9:50Speaker 1: No way, no, laughed out. I mean was he was
- 9:56Speaker 1: he winning?
- 9:57Speaker 4: He so he was doing over under specific betround player
- 10:00Speaker 4: when he could find out and so he was using
- 10:03Speaker 4: I think Lexi hole, uh the place for the fever
- 10:06Speaker 4: and somehow she had posted a social media clip and
- 10:09Speaker 4: she was talking about it and he was like, alright,
- 10:11Speaker 4: so I went and chased the under and he was
- 10:12Speaker 4: like showing all the it and he's like, this is
- 10:14Speaker 4: what we do now. We try to track when having
- 10:17Speaker 4: their periods and we try to go bet unders on them.
- 10:19Speaker 1: That's next level, dude.
- 10:20Speaker 4: He got respected.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Right there.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Wow wow, Yeah, there's no nobody's cheating. No no, I
- 10:26Speaker 4: mean and that happened over the break too. But let
- 10:29Speaker 4: me go back to the hot dog eating competition for
- 10:31Speaker 4: a second, because we watched it and it was on
- 10:33Speaker 4: and my wife sat down right as it was coming on,
- 10:35Speaker 4: and they do these intros like they had like the
- 10:37Speaker 4: guy read here is like the Mercenary of death and
- 10:40Speaker 4: he's like he's got the world record for most butter
- 10:44Speaker 4: ever eaten. I don't even know what it was. Everyone's
- 10:46Speaker 4: got like something they specialize in. And so he's like,
- 10:50Speaker 4: when you go to the Gates of Hell, who eats
- 10:52Speaker 4: butter the Merson And so they're introducing them like wrestlers,
- 10:54Speaker 4: and my wife's like, are they being serious, Like are
- 10:57Speaker 4: these introductions? It's just like a real sport. I said, no, there,
- 10:59Speaker 4: it's they're up so on purpose, like they're over the top.
- 11:02Speaker 4: But these people, this is like they're one time to
- 11:05Speaker 4: be on television. And so they go up and they
- 11:08Speaker 4: start and it was never close. Like Joe Chestnut just
- 11:12Speaker 4: started eating and they have the people behind it flip
- 11:14Speaker 4: the numbers and she just flipping one, two, three, four.
- 11:17Speaker 4: I don't have the numbers in front of me. But
- 11:20Speaker 4: the second place person was like thirty behind him.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 11:24Speaker 4: It was like if I were to play third grade
- 11:27Speaker 4: basketball with a bunch of third graders, what is that
- 11:31Speaker 4: nine years old? If I'm playing basketball in a league
- 11:33Speaker 4: with nine year old or one on one competition with
- 11:34Speaker 4: nine year.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Old, dominate, I would dominate. That's why they should plan,
- 11:38Speaker 1: we should make that happen. That would be great.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Yeah, second place was forty six point five.
- 11:43Speaker 4: Crazy. I saw when I saw the over under, I
- 11:46Speaker 4: didn't bet on it. It was seventy Oh so you
- 11:49Speaker 4: would have Oh I wouldn't have bet. I didn't bet,
- 11:52Speaker 4: so if you bet the over, you'd won. But Kevin
- 11:53Speaker 4: got a bad line.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Dude, seventy and a half. That's what you bet because
- 11:57Speaker 2: he hit seventy sorry, seventy one one and a half,
- 12:00Speaker 2: seventy one and a half in live and I bet
- 12:04Speaker 2: the over.
- 12:04Speaker 4: When did you bet that? Because I did?
- 12:06Speaker 2: By one? Did you right before like an hour before maybe.
- 12:09Speaker 4: His record seventy six? I think I'm going from memory now,
- 12:13Speaker 4: back into the recesses of my hot dog eating support.
- 12:16Speaker 2: Dis memories, the storied history, for sure, you're going to
- 12:19Speaker 2: get at the beginning halfway through, had like fifty something.
- 12:22Speaker 1: How much you bet?
- 12:24Speaker 2: It was thirty three to win?
- 12:25Speaker 1: Twenty you bet thirty three dollars?
- 12:29Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, this no sports. Speaking of betting, we have
- 12:39Speaker 4: two stories we can do one, the Luis or Orti story.
- 12:43Speaker 1: The pitcher Oh yeah, that's crazy. The two pitches.
- 12:46Speaker 4: So I'm going to give you a brief description based
- 12:51Speaker 4: on what I've learned is that there was irregular betting
- 12:55Speaker 4: that the first pitch in whatever ending coming up would
- 12:58Speaker 4: be a ball, and he was pitching both of those games,
- 13:01Speaker 4: and both of them were not only balls, they were
- 13:03Speaker 4: they he like hopped him. It was like somebody throwing
- 13:05Speaker 4: a bad first pitch.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think I think one of
- 13:08Speaker 1: the bets was hit the batter.
- 13:11Speaker 4: No, I don't think so, that's what I read, because
- 13:12Speaker 4: both pitches were outside way they hopped way outside.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Okay, well those are I think those two are like
- 13:18Speaker 1: worth a lot more like the odds are.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Will you look it up? Because I never saw I
- 13:23Speaker 4: hit the batter. Thing I saw, I saw both of
- 13:25Speaker 4: them were ball the first inning, excuse me, the next inning,
- 13:28Speaker 4: the first pitch would be a ball, and both pitches
- 13:30Speaker 4: were exactly the same where he hopped them way outside
- 13:34Speaker 4: on the right handed batter, so it wasn't even close.
- 13:37Speaker 4: There was another one where they think there was speculation
- 13:39Speaker 4: that he bet that he'd walked a guy, but the
- 13:43Speaker 4: guy swung on like a low and outside pitch and
- 13:46Speaker 4: struck out and you and you see the Luis Ortiz
- 13:49Speaker 4: go f and people at the time just thought he
- 13:52Speaker 4: was like pumped. But I think he missed his bet.
- 13:54Speaker 1: He missed the bet that somebody harlay.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Yeah, so he is not. He's suspended right now.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Yes, still under investigation, but under investigation.
- 14:05Speaker 4: But not in trouble suspension.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Uh I think what I read, Well, they're paying him, yes, yes, correct,
- 14:15Speaker 1: while the investigation still goes on.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Yes, Kevin, let me know when you find the exact Yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 2: it does say non disciplinary paid leave, thank you, no
- 14:22Speaker 2: disciplined of that or not in troubles here going.
- 14:28Speaker 4: To the recesses.
- 14:29Speaker 1: That's still crazy though.
- 14:30Speaker 4: The other one is the Malik Beasley.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Oh, that one's bad.
- 14:33Speaker 4: He's got to make forty million dollars. Yeah, and he's
- 14:35Speaker 4: he's now, he's done. He's gonna be a free agent
- 14:38Speaker 4: for betting probably thousands of dollars right.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Trivial for him.
- 14:43Speaker 4: So stupid anytime that there's a bunch of money that
- 14:47Speaker 4: comes in on any of these prop bets, like if
- 14:51Speaker 4: there's a crazy amount that comes in, and I think
- 14:53Speaker 4: he even missed some of them if because again some
- 14:56Speaker 4: of the stuff I was reading it was people speculating.
- 14:58Speaker 4: But the speculators have a little created it's to what
- 15:00Speaker 4: they're saying because they've been involved in betting or betting scandals,
- 15:03Speaker 4: or that they are they have been in positions to
- 15:07Speaker 4: prosecute and they're like, did he miss some of them,
- 15:12Speaker 4: like he bet them and didn't hit one of them,
- 15:15Speaker 4: shows him like running they were up. I'm just gonna
- 15:17Speaker 4: make up the scenario. But they were up like five points,
- 15:19Speaker 4: so the game was over, and so he gets and
- 15:21Speaker 4: runs out on donkchal quick because the line was six
- 15:23Speaker 4: and a half.
- 15:23Speaker 1: It was like seconds.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Yeah, so he's like, gunn do you see that?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 15:26Speaker 4: Oh yeah, And that might be a little on the numbers,
- 15:28Speaker 4: but that was the whole point. At the very end,
- 15:29Speaker 4: he like runs and they're like, this is an example.
- 15:32Speaker 1: You think he was missing some of those bets just
- 15:34Speaker 1: to kind of make it seem.
- 15:35Speaker 4: Like maybe I think he was in financial trouble too.
- 15:38Speaker 4: I'd read that he was having some but again, how
- 15:40Speaker 4: much he was making millions of dollars anyway, He's about
- 15:43Speaker 4: to make forty million dollars more, what do you have?
- 15:46Speaker 2: Yeah, So there were a lot of bets based on
- 15:49Speaker 2: the batter getting hit by the way Eddie, That's probably
- 15:51Speaker 2: what you saw. But the two pitches, one bouncing dirt
- 15:53Speaker 2: and one was way outside.
- 15:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, crazy man, I mean I eagle gambling. I
- 15:59Speaker 1: have hit like because I lie like some of those,
- 16:02Speaker 1: especially during football, like if the next play is going
- 16:04Speaker 1: to be a run. Next play is gonna be a
- 16:05Speaker 1: pass or how the how that drive is going to
- 16:08Speaker 1: result in? Sometimes, dude, I'll hit like six in a
- 16:11Speaker 1: row and I'm thinking, are they going to flag me?
- 16:14Speaker 1: But I only put like two dollars on it.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Not only.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Remember the college baseball when the guy went in and
- 16:23Speaker 4: they're like, this is highly irregular that someone comes in
- 16:26Speaker 4: and bets on this game. They got one to the
- 16:29Speaker 4: casino and it was a coach like texting with the coach.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I just feel like, all that's so easy, especially if
- 16:36Speaker 1: you're in the game, like it's like a pitch. It's
- 16:38Speaker 1: so easy, and those.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Are all You're just not going to make any money
- 16:41Speaker 4: off of that because if you do bet a lot
- 16:43Speaker 4: of money, it is going to get flagged. I know,
- 16:46Speaker 4: even if you win or lose.
- 16:48Speaker 1: So if you just bet like ten dollars a pitch,
- 16:51Speaker 1: but you nail them all like you can make I
- 16:53Speaker 1: don't think five hundred bucks at the end.
- 16:55Speaker 4: I don't think they're going to care about five hundred bucks.
- 16:58Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. Pictures, you're doing it all wrong.
- 17:00Speaker 4: I wanted to tip you the rest of their whole
- 17:02Speaker 4: career for ten dollars, a bit.
- 17:03Speaker 2: Like reach out to me, guys.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I'm only doing five dollar bets over here, guys.
- 17:08Speaker 4: I speaking of basketball. I have not cashed in my bet.
- 17:13Speaker 4: I was gonna wait for you guys to tell me
- 17:15Speaker 4: what expensive restaurant to go to.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Woah, I found some stuff.
- 17:18Speaker 4: Please, Okay, So the thunder one. So I want an
- 17:24Speaker 4: expensive dinner. My wife and I are to be taken
- 17:27Speaker 4: to dinner by doctor Josie and her husband. And we
- 17:30Speaker 4: said before the series it's got to be expensive, so
- 17:34Speaker 4: there are no rules. I told Josie I was gonna
- 17:37Speaker 4: wait till I talked to you guys, so you could
- 17:38Speaker 4: lead me in a direction of an expensive dinner. Kevin,
- 17:41Speaker 4: I want to come to you first.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Okay, should we say the actual restaurant itself? It's okay.
- 17:45Speaker 2: So there's a spot in downtown Franklin called Cork and Cow. Okay,
- 17:49Speaker 2: if you've been there or not. I went, and I'm
- 17:52Speaker 2: not kidding. It was the best stick I've ever gotten,
- 17:54Speaker 2: and it is so expensive for my birthday. So it's
- 17:57Speaker 2: a special occasion that it doesn't have a price on
- 18:01Speaker 2: the menu. It's a market price frown. Yeah, market price Browns.
- 18:06Speaker 2: What is that per ounces and it's huge. Its way
- 18:15Speaker 2: too much food, but it is so good there's no
- 18:18Speaker 2: price on it, meaning it is so expensive they don't
- 18:20Speaker 2: even want to.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Show you how much was it.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I was like two hundred and fifty bucks steak, yeah alone, yeah,
- 18:27Speaker 2: got it comes with a bunch of potatoes too. I
- 18:29Speaker 2: mean it's enough for two people, but you get the
- 18:32Speaker 2: potato potatoes market price, potatoes free price.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, free, got it.
- 18:38Speaker 4: So you're saying cork and cow, cork and cow, and
- 18:41Speaker 4: get the steak that is market tomahawk? Yeah big?
- 18:44Speaker 1: What if the markets low that day?
- 18:46Speaker 4: I know exactly, Like what about the Tesla stock eddie?
- 18:51Speaker 1: Okay? So I have two options for you, and I
- 18:52Speaker 1: know one place for sure you've been because we went
- 18:55Speaker 1: for your birthday one time and we didn't order this
- 18:57Speaker 1: because the price on this steak is crazy. It's bourbon steak, right,
- 19:02Speaker 1: we went there. We've gone there, ye, okay, bourbon steak.
- 19:04Speaker 1: So I don't know if you want to go to
- 19:05Speaker 1: that place, back to that place again. But there is
- 19:08Speaker 1: a wagu tasting trio. Oh I love Wagoo, It's my favorite. Okay,
- 19:12Speaker 1: tasting trio means you can get a New York strip
- 19:15Speaker 1: a Ribbi and another Hokkyado New York strip le. And
- 19:20Speaker 1: the grand total price for just the stakes for just
- 19:24Speaker 1: these three steaks is six hundred and fifty bucks.
- 19:27Speaker 4: I didn't send Jose a message.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Six and fifty dollars.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Hello, Hello, Oh yeah, do.
- 19:35Speaker 1: You want to go a little cheaper?
- 19:37Speaker 4: Nope?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Okay? Sure?
- 19:38Speaker 4: Hold right, hey, So on my sports show right now,
- 19:41Speaker 4: we're talking about expensive places that you will take us
- 19:47Speaker 4: because of the bet that you lost. And Eddie just
- 19:50Speaker 4: told me about a Wagu trio at Bourbon Steak and
- 19:54Speaker 4: one of the three kinds. Oh yeah, it's a Kagu
- 19:56Speaker 4: Shami yag Shami, which I love the congos.
- 19:59Speaker 1: And there's a mitzel be she is a car and
- 20:04Speaker 1: a snow Beef New York streep from Street Street.
- 20:09Speaker 4: So and that trio of steaks host how much six
- 20:12Speaker 4: hundred and fifty bucks? So, yeah, we're we're dialing in
- 20:16Speaker 4: over here. Anyway. I just thought i'd see you a message.
- 20:17Speaker 4: I hope everything's going good.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Oh I guess okay, I was gonna say he wants
- 20:22Speaker 1: potatoes on that too.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, don't forget the potato.
- 20:25Speaker 4: Do they have caviar there?
- 20:27Speaker 1: I don't know, let me see that.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever you drink, then it'd be.
- 20:33Speaker 1: You can order whatever you want, what you drink.
- 20:36Speaker 4: Started drinking just for this, My first ever drinking is
- 20:38Speaker 4: just punish her. All right, did you guys come up
- 20:44Speaker 4: with any food? I didn't put it on you guys.
- 20:45Speaker 2: You guys anything that beats anything I was I was
- 20:48Speaker 2: gonna find.
- 20:49Speaker 4: All right, all right, okay, boom, that sounds like we're.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Glad we talked about that.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Let me tell.
- 20:57Speaker 1: That sounds great.
- 20:58Speaker 4: Do you have caviar by the way they do? Hello, Hey,
- 21:01Speaker 4: we're in the middle of whistles right now. And I
- 21:03Speaker 4: had the guys all pitch really expensive meals, and they
- 21:06Speaker 4: pitch bourbon steak, and Eddie said, there's a Wago trio
- 21:09Speaker 4: that's about six hundred bucks.
- 21:11Speaker 1: You let me tell you all the steaks.
- 21:13Speaker 4: She won't care, okay, yeah, Mishi. Yeah, one of the
- 21:16Speaker 4: steaks apparently is made by Mitsubishi. But I'm really leaning
- 21:20Speaker 4: toward that unless you have a different, different plan. I
- 21:23Speaker 4: really want to stick it to them, you know, all right,
- 21:25Speaker 4: Their caviar trio is five and twenty dollars. Oh, I
- 21:30Speaker 4: got another one, and the caviar trio is five hundred
- 21:35Speaker 4: plus dollars, now weird. I like those little pancake patties too,
- 21:39Speaker 4: you know those pancakes. Yeah, okay, ooh man, you get delicious.
- 21:45Speaker 4: You're gonna have to fix a bunch of animals and
- 21:47Speaker 4: make this kind of money bag.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Let's sell some dogs or dude, your your bet said literally,
- 21:54Speaker 1: whatever I want from a restaurant. That's crazy.
- 21:59Speaker 4: Yeah I should I go back to the verbiage of
- 22:02Speaker 4: the bed. Yes, okay, because the bet was an expensive meal.
- 22:07Speaker 4: And then I said, I'm gonna order some Waygoo from Japan.
- 22:10Speaker 4: And then her response was, you're gonna take us to
- 22:12Speaker 4: japand wagoo.
- 22:15Speaker 1: That's legit.
- 22:15Speaker 4: That fun that's a funny, funny. Comeback, let's see just
- 22:20Speaker 4: And she.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Knows you well enough to know that. Like yeah, She's like,
- 22:22Speaker 2: you're gonna go all out.
- 22:23Speaker 4: She's like a close friend. Okay, here we go, here
- 22:25Speaker 4: we go go. Uh So this is where it comes from.
- 22:30Speaker 4: She said, in all seriousness, who are the favorites? And
- 22:31Speaker 4: I said's heavy Thunder. Before we even made the bet,
- 22:33Speaker 4: Heavy Thunder. She's like good And I said, do you
- 22:38Speaker 4: want to bet an expensive dinner on the series? And
- 22:41Speaker 4: Josey said, really, and then I said really expensive. She
- 22:43Speaker 4: goes one and seven zeros. Yes, so that's ten million. Yes.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Oh, then there you go.
- 22:49Speaker 4: And then I send I say done, and I send
- 22:52Speaker 4: a thumbs up of SGA and then she sends back
- 22:55Speaker 4: one of Aliburton doing guns finger guns, and then she says,
- 23:03Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna have my Wago flown in from
- 23:04Speaker 4: Japan for a dinner. And then that was it.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I think this one did come from Japan, no doubt.
- 23:11Speaker 4: It's still in Japan. They get it in just in time.
- 23:15Speaker 4: All right, Micha, let's take a break. Okay, So I
- 23:20Speaker 4: think I can say it now. They've not told me
- 23:21Speaker 4: I can, but I will. But on Sunday, I'm playing
- 23:24Speaker 4: in homerun DERBYX all start weekend in Atlanta and that's
- 23:27Speaker 4: Sunday night. And so I don't know who my Major
- 23:30Speaker 4: League baseball partner is. I don't know who my softball
- 23:32Speaker 4: partner is. So this is what this is. It's a
- 23:34Speaker 4: new Actually they tore this thing, which is crazy. So
- 23:37Speaker 4: they tried to make it like an event. And so
- 23:41Speaker 4: it's a former ballplayer, it's a celebrity, and it's a
- 23:45Speaker 4: softball player. And that's a team of three, and they
- 23:47Speaker 4: play another team of three of the same.
- 23:50Speaker 1: And who pays these teams not me, I don't know.
- 23:54Speaker 4: And so they invited me to come play and be
- 23:56Speaker 4: a celebrity, and so you get points for every home
- 24:00Speaker 4: run you hit now because they know there's really only
- 24:02Speaker 4: one baseball player and then a softball player who can
- 24:05Speaker 4: obviously hit because there are other professional or collegiate and
- 24:07Speaker 4: they're using metal bats. Softball players are, but I'm not.
- 24:10Speaker 4: But the celebrity doesn't have to be a big home
- 24:12Speaker 4: run hitter. But they move the home plate to either
- 24:15Speaker 4: like the pitchers mound or like in between pitchers and
- 24:19Speaker 4: second base. It's still it's still you still have to
- 24:22Speaker 4: hit it pretty good, but there are also targets, and
- 24:24Speaker 4: the field is not all of right and left field.
- 24:26Speaker 1: It's very much.
- 24:27Speaker 4: Sixty percent of the middle, and you're up on a
- 24:29Speaker 4: stage so people can see you a little bit more.
- 24:31Speaker 4: So there are some hitting advantages to just being home
- 24:35Speaker 4: plate four hundred feet out center field, because I ain't
- 24:38Speaker 4: hitting any of those outs. So I'm gonna go and
- 24:41Speaker 4: do that, And I hit with the wood bat. Went
- 24:44Speaker 4: to the Nashville Sounds that were kind enough to let
- 24:49Speaker 4: me come, not only getting the cage and hit with
- 24:51Speaker 4: the players because I just got in the rounds and
- 24:53Speaker 4: hit with the I got on the field and took
- 24:55Speaker 4: fielding practice on game day. Yeah, like they were doing
- 24:58Speaker 4: their pre game. I was just working out with them
- 25:00Speaker 4: during pregame.
- 25:00Speaker 1: Wow.
- 25:01Speaker 4: Yeah, Brandon went with me and so we went and
- 25:04Speaker 4: the manager, who you thought was no teeth.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Keith was a handlebar mustache man. Like.
- 25:10Speaker 4: He was like, just get in. I was like, get
- 25:11Speaker 4: in what he goes, just get in the rotation. So
- 25:13Speaker 4: that's what I did. I wanted to play first and
- 25:14Speaker 4: got in the rotation and they were just they were
- 25:16Speaker 4: hitting grounders both sides, and so then he was like,
- 25:18Speaker 4: you're in group three for batting. So I got griped three.
- 25:21Speaker 4: You take five or six and you rotate out. They're
- 25:23Speaker 4: like four guys that do that. So did that? Did okay?
- 25:27Speaker 4: Did okay? I hit a couple of them pretty good.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Gives me a little more confidence, though, just to get
- 25:31Speaker 4: in there and take some swings because I haven't hit
- 25:32Speaker 4: a baseball.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Yeah, you've been playing soft forever.
- 25:35Speaker 4: Yeah, And I hadn't hit a softball in ten years
- 25:37Speaker 4: until last year. I did a baseball, Yeah, like a
- 25:41Speaker 4: fast pitch baseball to a softball that's slow pitch softball
- 25:45Speaker 4: like a fast pitch baseball in twenty five years. So
- 25:48Speaker 4: I'm going to go and do that Sunday. Hopefully I
- 25:50Speaker 4: hit them out.
- 25:50Speaker 2: And then it wouldn't bat.
- 25:51Speaker 1: I mean.
- 25:53Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, And that was to me what was a
- 25:57Speaker 4: bit concerning, because yeah, with a metal bat, hitting him out,
- 26:00Speaker 4: but it wouldn't beat no chance.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Yeah, but herpedo.
- 26:04Speaker 4: No. You know who hooked it up though, was Brian Anderson,
- 26:08Speaker 4: the Brewers play guy who n Cuba basketball. He's come
- 26:11Speaker 4: on the show before. That's how I met him, was
- 26:13Speaker 4: him being a guest on the show. But he also
- 26:15Speaker 4: does the Brewers home games and he does the NCAA tournament.
- 26:19Speaker 4: And he messaged me like a week and a half ago,
- 26:23Speaker 4: he said, do you know Riley Green? I said, I
- 26:24Speaker 4: do know Riley Green? And he's like, he's doing badding
- 26:27Speaker 4: practice up here. I was gonna say hi, I didn't
- 26:28Speaker 4: If he's a nice guy, I said, yeah, he's a
- 26:29Speaker 4: really nice guy. I'll message him and tell him to
- 26:31Speaker 4: look out for you. So I text Riley and I
- 26:33Speaker 4: was like, hey, the baseball player, no, the singer, Oh,
- 26:36Speaker 4: the singer.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Got it.
- 26:37Speaker 4: I don't know Whyley gen baseball player.
- 26:38Speaker 1: He plays on the Tigers, right, I didn't know why
- 26:40Speaker 1: he was there with.
- 26:40Speaker 4: Yeah, So Riley was up there doing Summer Fest in Wisconsin,
- 26:44Speaker 4: a festival. So he went up and he took batting
- 26:46Speaker 4: practice with the Brewers, and so I told Riley, and
- 26:48Speaker 4: so Riley went and met him and he was like,
- 26:50Speaker 4: what's happened with you? I said, I'm going to go
- 26:51Speaker 4: to the All Star Game? Are you going to be
- 26:53Speaker 4: down there? And goes no, But my broadcast partner, Jeff
- 26:55Speaker 4: varani kore is he's going to be playing for the Royals. Ya,
- 26:58Speaker 4: that's one of the guys. And he was like, are
- 27:00Speaker 4: you taking any swings? You should come up to the
- 27:01Speaker 4: Brewers and take battie practice. And I'm like, well, if
- 27:03Speaker 4: it was like a mile away, I would, but not
- 27:06Speaker 4: gonna be able to get up there in a week.
- 27:07Speaker 4: And he said, our Triple A team is in Nashville.
- 27:09Speaker 4: So I honestly got hooked up through somebody in Milwaukee
- 27:11Speaker 4: for the team right down the road.
- 27:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 27:14Speaker 4: So he called them and was like, Hey, my friend's
- 27:15Speaker 4: coming down and so they were rolled out the red Awesome.
- 27:18Speaker 2: I actually saw him in Riley Green's like Instagram video
- 27:20Speaker 2: he did a on the visit on the VP that
- 27:22Speaker 2: he took with the Brewers and he was Brian Anderson
- 27:25Speaker 2: was in there. Really yeah, he was in the video,
- 27:27Speaker 2: so super nice to him to set that up.
- 27:28Speaker 4: And I'm going to go in Sunday evening do home
- 27:33Speaker 4: run Derby X. I think there are four teams.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Who's on your team? Do we not allowed to say?
- 27:40Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Oh, are they going to be like Atlanta people.
- 27:43Speaker 4: I think it's like Atlanta versus the Nationals or something,
- 27:46Speaker 4: because I know Ryan Klesko is one of the guys
- 27:48Speaker 4: that'll be down there. I saw some of them, but
- 27:50Speaker 4: I don't know who's on my team.
- 27:51Speaker 1: Huh, gotcha?
- 27:53Speaker 4: So the softball player, I don't know who the other.
- 27:56Speaker 4: I know who one of the other celebrities is, but
- 27:57Speaker 4: I'm not gonna say here because I don't know if
- 27:59Speaker 4: they fully committed and I'm not supposed to say for me,
- 28:02Speaker 4: but yeah, take some reps. I put it on Instagram.
- 28:04Speaker 4: And then you get the guy who's like, hey man,
- 28:07Speaker 4: don't don't put your peakies together when you're like to shut.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Up all right, Like I choke up on the back.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I don't.
- 28:12Speaker 4: I'm not forty. Shut up. I don't need you. I
- 28:15Speaker 4: don't need your ground ball tips on me how to
- 28:17Speaker 4: catch your ground ball. And secondly, I'm probably better than you,
- 28:20Speaker 4: even with you. We did this with the pickleball.
- 28:22Speaker 2: I was gonna say, this is another pickleball guy.
- 28:23Speaker 4: The guys, Okay, we're coming up.
- 28:27Speaker 1: What do you want to do?
- 28:28Speaker 4: How about this date? Okay, I'm in. Oh sorry, my kids.
- 28:32Speaker 4: The kids are sick.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Okay, we'll move to a different date.
- 28:34Speaker 4: No, never mind. I don't know why I let that
- 28:37Speaker 4: crap bother me so much.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Are you using any of those batter things where you
- 28:43Speaker 1: like it's like you hold on to it differently. I
- 28:46Speaker 1: see a tany using that. You should probably look into that.
- 28:48Speaker 4: You know, it's funny. Went to the batting cages before this.
- 28:52Speaker 4: I went up to the cages one day.
- 28:54Speaker 1: And where the cage is that.
- 28:57Speaker 4: Over your Morgan's house.
- 29:00Speaker 1: I mean, the only reason I know the shoot over
- 29:04Speaker 1: the water gun. Oh that's funny, yeah, okay.
- 29:08Speaker 4: And so I went. I went over there, and I
- 29:14Speaker 4: went with Brett Eldridge, and because he'll do whatever, we're like,
- 29:17Speaker 4: let's go hit some balls. And so we went over
- 29:20Speaker 4: and like a bus full of like thirty eleven year
- 29:23Speaker 4: old showed up five minutes before, like from Florida. They
- 29:26Speaker 4: were traveling through, so they like took up all the cages.
- 29:29Speaker 4: So the only thing open was one of the cages
- 29:34Speaker 4: that didn't have a machine where somebody had to human
- 29:36Speaker 4: throw to you. So Brett and I are behind the
- 29:39Speaker 4: screen throwing at each other, hitting throw, having each other.
- 29:45Speaker 4: So we got some rips there, but again it was
- 29:48Speaker 4: us throwing to each other more so than a machine.
- 29:50Speaker 4: But yeah, I'm gonna try to do that, try to
- 29:52Speaker 4: win that hopefully on Sunday, hopefully get a get you out.
- 29:55Speaker 4: But you also get points in this because there are
- 29:57Speaker 4: three people. You get points by hitting home runs. But
- 29:59Speaker 4: if you catch balls in the they don't hit out,
- 30:01Speaker 4: that's a that's a point for the other team.
- 30:03Speaker 2: So you'll be fielding too. Yeah, oh all right, you're
- 30:07Speaker 2: gonna be like pushing people for fly balls.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Well there's only three of us in the field.
- 30:10Speaker 2: Oh okay, it's not every I thought it was like all
- 30:12Speaker 2: the other teams and whoever gets the fight gets supplied.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I think it's like funny one.
- 30:17Speaker 4: If there are four teams, then they play one v
- 30:19Speaker 4: one and the two winners play, if that's what it is.
- 30:22Speaker 4: And last time, last year when I did the celebrity
- 30:24Speaker 4: softball game, they streamed it, they didn't put it on
- 30:28Speaker 4: television until like a week later when they could edit it,
- 30:30Speaker 4: and then they put the whole thing on MLB TV.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Mm hmm. It's just basically your highlight, real the.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Whole game highlight.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I saw a cowboy got arrested, yeah, turping.
- 30:42Speaker 4: I saw dak One biled them out. I didn't see
- 30:44Speaker 4: that far unless that was like that. But hey, quarterback
- 30:50Speaker 4: bill and receiver, you should look that up. Okay, so
- 30:53Speaker 4: I'll read the story. Kevin kicked that for yeah, oh yeah,
- 30:57Speaker 4: Dallas Cowboys All Pro kick returner Kamandi Turpin was a receiver,
- 31:02Speaker 4: but really he was like it was like our number
- 31:04Speaker 4: three line really just ki Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:07Speaker 4: He was arrested Saturday, and it's facing two misdemeanor charges a.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Little bit of weed man and a gun and a gun. Yeah.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Turing turpend twenty eight, was booked into the Colley County
- 31:18Speaker 4: deal in charges of possession of marijuana less than two
- 31:21Speaker 4: ounces an unlawfully carrying up a weapon. He was released
- 31:24Speaker 4: from custody. Sunday after posting a fifteen hund dollars bond.
- 31:27Speaker 4: He plays wide receiver game signed a three year, eighteen
- 31:29Speaker 4: million dollar extension on the Cowboys in March from ESPN.
- 31:32Speaker 4: What do you say?
- 31:33Speaker 2: There are reports saying that Dak Prescott left Masks on Sunday.
- 31:38Speaker 1: To mass on Sunday.
- 31:41Speaker 4: Guy thought I was full of craft.
- 31:42Speaker 2: We did, like Joe contacted his reps, who then reached
- 31:46Speaker 2: out to the clerk office. Blah blah blah. Yeah, there
- 31:49Speaker 2: are reports saying that he didn't.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Dude goes to the precinct like, hey, give on, guy, here,
- 31:54Speaker 1: here's your fifteen hundred dollars.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Like you said, he just a little bit weed and
- 31:59Speaker 4: he killed a guy.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Yeah, that's hilarious.
- 32:03Speaker 4: So good for Dak. And you know, turping. If it's
- 32:07Speaker 4: just for a little bit of a little man I
- 32:09Speaker 4: didn't know, but didn't sound like you.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Just didn't have a license for the gun.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Yeah, if it's like, if it's like domestic mind something,
- 32:16Speaker 4: that's a whole diavverball game.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:17Speaker 4: But if it's like a little bit wei and the gun,
- 32:22Speaker 4: who knows?
- 32:25Speaker 1: Who knows?
- 32:26Speaker 4: All right, Kevin anything.
- 32:29Speaker 2: No, I'm just uh, I mean obviously I was bet
- 32:32Speaker 2: on hot dog eating. So I'm ready for football. Man,
- 32:34Speaker 2: I'm ready for sports. It's a really dull time right now,
- 32:39Speaker 2: and I'm having It's good for me, you know, being
- 32:42Speaker 2: the with the twins and whatnotcause I have a lot
- 32:43Speaker 2: of time to focus on them. But I'm ready for football.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, the kids know what's up too, because I
- 32:49Speaker 1: was watching soccer last night.
- 32:50Speaker 4: We lost. We scored, We scored so quick. I don't
- 32:53Speaker 4: know anything about soccer, so play Mexico right. Yes, I'm
- 32:55Speaker 4: not an expert. It was the finals the Gold Cup.
- 32:58Speaker 4: I follow along just enough to know in case somebody
- 33:01Speaker 4: asked me about it, I can be like, yeah, I
- 33:02Speaker 4: know a little, and so we scored quick, like out
- 33:05Speaker 4: of the gate, one zero. We end up losing two
- 33:07Speaker 4: to one. Mexico Beatis and that was kind of like
- 33:11Speaker 4: our World Cup beat in Mexico. Yeah, but yeah, no,
- 33:14Speaker 4: that's all I know. I turned it off after we
- 33:16Speaker 4: scored the goal. I was like, I watched, I got
- 33:17Speaker 4: to see a goal.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean they almost scored at the end. There
- 33:20Speaker 1: a couple of chances of us almost didn't tie it,
- 33:22Speaker 1: but they didn't.
- 33:23Speaker 4: How much do you care about soccer?
- 33:24Speaker 1: I felt it zero.
- 33:25Speaker 4: You should zero like your native land.
- 33:27Speaker 3: You know.
- 33:27Speaker 1: My kids say, yesterday is like they watch they walk up.
- 33:30Speaker 1: Like my oldest, the seventeen, he's like looks at It's like,
- 33:31Speaker 1: oh dad, us Mexico. It's tough for you.
- 33:40Speaker 4: That's pretty fun. Do you see a celebrity in the wild?
- 33:43Speaker 1: I did man at Disney. I was at Disney, and
- 33:46Speaker 1: it was one of those things where like I saw
- 33:48Speaker 1: them and I go, oh, they look familiar. Don't know
- 33:51Speaker 1: where I know them from, but familiar for sure, and
- 33:54Speaker 1: I'm thinking maybe high school, maybe college. It was like
- 33:59Speaker 1: one of those things because it wasn't like, oh yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 1: that's uh tony Roma. It wasn't like that. And uh
- 34:04Speaker 1: then finally it clicked. It clicked. I knew who she was.
- 34:08Speaker 1: It was Jamie Yardall oh from Morning NFL. Did you
- 34:13Speaker 1: do something with her, like a like an interview or something?
- 34:16Speaker 4: Yes, so yeah, from right here.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I think yeah, because I remember seeing her on the Zoom.
- 34:21Speaker 4: Yes, she interviewed me on the Zoom.
- 34:24Speaker 1: It's not as old you were on the zoom it.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, she I went on that show as a guest.
- 34:34Speaker 4: I think probably because Castle and Ized podcast was starting
- 34:37Speaker 4: and so she had me on and that's when I
- 34:39Speaker 4: were like, I hate the tan that the colors, Yeah,
- 34:42Speaker 4: the colors was low. That's where it was. She's super nice.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Well, I didn't talk to her, but it was weird.
- 34:47Speaker 1: And it's it's weird too because I'm always like, oh, man,
- 34:49Speaker 1: I want to say hi, because like I noticed her,
- 34:53Speaker 1: and then i'm that's a.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Weird thing to say, though never say it like that.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Well, I saw her and then I'm talking about her
- 34:58Speaker 1: seeing her in the wild on a podcast and I
- 35:00Speaker 1: didn't say hi. It's just weird. So I was like
- 35:03Speaker 1: I should go say something. But then I was like
- 35:04Speaker 1: what do I say to her? Like do you know
- 35:06Speaker 1: my friend Bobby? You know what I mean? Like what
- 35:08Speaker 1: am I gonna say? And I have a Cowboys hand on,
- 35:11Speaker 1: like that's a fan.
- 35:13Speaker 2: You just send this clip if like you had or
- 35:16Speaker 2: you literally could have.
- 35:17Speaker 4: All those ways are weird. You can't say I noticed
- 35:19Speaker 4: you or.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I wasn't gonna say that it's from a distance.
- 35:23Speaker 4: But if you were to go up and just see
- 35:24Speaker 4: her and just say hey, I watch you on NFL network.
- 35:27Speaker 4: I think you're you do an awesome job. Like that's fine,
- 35:29Speaker 4: that's it. But if you're like hey, I noticed you,
- 35:32Speaker 4: or hey do you know my friend Bobby? Oh that's weird.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Yeah, But I think that'd be more of an end
- 35:37Speaker 1: than like, yeah, I watch your show. Cool, good job.
- 35:40Speaker 1: More of an end would be like you don't need
- 35:41Speaker 1: an end.
- 35:41Speaker 4: What do you need the end for me to be
- 35:43Speaker 4: like oh cool?
- 35:44Speaker 1: Like oh, yeah, you're on the show. That's cool.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Like then what's the end?
- 35:47Speaker 1: I don't know? And then we don't know from there?
- 35:48Speaker 1: What do we just want to be on Good Morning Football?
- 35:52Speaker 4: They've asked me to guest host that a couple of times.
- 35:54Speaker 1: You should.
- 35:55Speaker 4: The problem is it's way early in the morning.
- 35:57Speaker 1: Are they in Western New York? Are in LA? Yeah?
- 36:01Speaker 4: Like one of one of them is in New York,
- 36:04Speaker 4: but the restaurant in LA. Maybe two of them in
- 36:05Speaker 4: New York, but it's based in LA now. But they
- 36:07Speaker 4: go on it like four in the morning. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 4: like West Coast times. That's crazy, fild brutal. And then
- 36:14Speaker 4: I have our show to do.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:16Speaker 4: So but yeah, they've been super cool and asked me
- 36:17Speaker 4: to come and guest host a thing, and I'm like,
- 36:19Speaker 4: I have my I have a job, or I would
- 36:24Speaker 4: According to a new study, diehard sports fans aren't just
- 36:26Speaker 4: emotionally invested in the action, they're neurologically wired for the game.
- 36:29Speaker 4: Researchers found that the brains of super fans light up
- 36:32Speaker 4: in unique ways, especially during subtle strategic moments that casual
- 36:36Speaker 4: viewers might miss. Even when nothing major is happening, their
- 36:38Speaker 4: brains are buzzing with activity and regions tied to personal
- 36:40Speaker 4: relevance and evaluations. It seems big times sportsmans are locked
- 36:44Speaker 4: into games in deep and unique ways. Hm. I just
- 36:47Speaker 4: feel like that means we're losers.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Yeah, they used a bunch of fancy words to say,
- 36:54Speaker 4: you guys need a life, that's.
- 36:56Speaker 1: What they mean. Like when you watch the Razorbacks or
- 36:58Speaker 1: like watch any.
- 37:00Speaker 4: I would hate to put my brain under and I
- 37:03Speaker 4: have to go to this brain thing today where they
- 37:05Speaker 4: stick those things to your head. Oh yea, I'd hate
- 37:06Speaker 4: to put me under one of those turned Razor by game,
- 37:08Speaker 4: you would just see like a sad face on the brain.
- 37:14Speaker 4: The brain has a frown. Yeah, that's how I feel.
- 37:19Speaker 4: During football season, I frowned.
- 37:21Speaker 2: The whole time right in the corner.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Yes, that's it. What's coming up sports wise?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Though, It's like the open if you're interested in golf.
- 37:30Speaker 1: The British Open.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Oh, I think you're talking about like tennis like you oh, Wimbledon.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Wimbledon's kind of cool.
- 37:34Speaker 4: We'll watch a little bit, they'll watch. I don't care.
- 37:36Speaker 4: I saw Rodick was there?
- 37:37Speaker 1: Was he? Yeah?
- 37:38Speaker 4: And they're like Rodick who never comes and rarely in
- 37:40Speaker 4: public and him Brooklyn were there.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Yeah, rarely shows his face.
- 37:44Speaker 4: Yeah, he doesn't do He has a tennis podcast now,
- 37:47Speaker 4: but he just was like not into tennis forever because
- 37:50Speaker 4: it's all he did. So he was almost anti tennis.
- 37:53Speaker 1: I saw clips of him interviewing Agacy in his podcast. Cool.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Yeah, and that was his hero. So and they're a
- 37:59Speaker 4: good friends now though.
- 38:00Speaker 2: What movie was he in? Erotic?
- 38:03Speaker 1: He was movie.
- 38:04Speaker 4: Recently, but it's an Adam Sandler movie with Brooklyn. Yeah,
- 38:08Speaker 4: just go with it.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Yes, that's what I watched. I was like, wait, that's
- 38:11Speaker 2: a Eurotic like that cameo there?
- 38:13Speaker 4: Yeah? Uh. The Open. I only like the Open. I
- 38:17Speaker 4: only watched the Open with extra attention if the weather's
- 38:21Speaker 4: really bad. Otherwise I'll mostly just watch on Sunday. I
- 38:24Speaker 4: like it when the weather is really bad and it's
- 38:26Speaker 4: just effing with all players. It's almost like when the
- 38:29Speaker 4: US Open happened and the rough was so rough people
- 38:34Speaker 4: were and ended up. Yeah, who can get minus anything exactly.
- 38:40Speaker 4: So I like it when the Open is like that.
- 38:42Speaker 1: What I like about the Open is that you could
- 38:45Speaker 1: wake up at three o'clock in the morning and golf
- 38:47Speaker 1: is on. That's cool to me.
- 38:50Speaker 4: I like it better when the NFL is playing in
- 38:51Speaker 4: Europe because I will wake up at nine. I just
- 38:54Speaker 4: am not gonna wake up at three.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's aggressive. Three in the morning to watch golf.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean we wake up with three in the
- 39:00Speaker 4: morning to check your Betsy.
- 39:05Speaker 1: It's kind of cool. Even at like eight am there's
- 39:07Speaker 1: a tournament going on, like sometimes the first groups already
- 39:10Speaker 1: finished by eight am. It's pretty cool. It's pretty cool,
- 39:12Speaker 1: all right.
- 39:13Speaker 4: I think that's it for us at anything else for you?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Oh man, I think that's it. Glad to be back, dude,
- 39:18Speaker 1: Glad to be doing the podcast with you.
- 39:20Speaker 4: I kind of found an easier way to do it.
- 39:22Speaker 4: I'm being honest by yourself.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Yeah, just yeah, up on the MIC's on and do
- 39:27Speaker 1: your thing. Yeah, just let it rep you know, Yeah, no,
- 39:30Speaker 1: I get it, I get it, Brandon.
- 39:33Speaker 4: Anything, that's it, man, All right case anything.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Just uh, you know, I was watching the Subway series
- 39:39Speaker 1: this weekend. How'd you guys, Donkeyes? We lost two out
- 39:42Speaker 1: of three. It's not looking good. We're in free fall.
- 39:45Speaker 1: But we're playing Bobby's Cubs this weekend. So those Cubs
- 39:47Speaker 1: are good.
- 39:49Speaker 4: The Cubs are good. You're playing this weekend.
- 39:52Speaker 1: This upcoming weekend. I think you guys are in Yankee.
- 39:54Speaker 4: Stadium this weekend coming up.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Because I think we play the Mariners. The Mariners come
- 39:58Speaker 1: to town and.
- 39:59Speaker 4: This weekend I'm in for All Star weekend.
- 40:01Speaker 1: True that so so do I guess I'll let you
- 40:03Speaker 1: know how it goes rerun. My point is, I don't
- 40:08Speaker 1: think there's no baseball.
- 40:10Speaker 4: I think there is a weekend leading it because again
- 40:12Speaker 4: on Tuesday, yeah, oh.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Right, yeah, you're right, yep.
- 40:15Speaker 4: So I think they'll play the games on the weekend
- 40:18Speaker 4: and everybody gets off the week you know, right at
- 40:20Speaker 4: the week.
- 40:20Speaker 1: Right, yeah, so then you're playing the Yankees.
- 40:23Speaker 4: I'm playing the Yankees on the.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Weekend and then got it?
- 40:26Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, all right, that's it, thank you all.
- 40:29Speaker 1: We will see you guys.
- 40:30Speaker 4: Later on this week I feel like it's all we got.
- 40:34Speaker 4: There's nothing else happening.
- 40:35Speaker 1: There's nothing like.
- 40:36Speaker 4: I'd love to sit her do an hour and a half.
- 40:38Speaker 4: We got forty five minutes into this thing, and I'm like,
- 40:40Speaker 4: I think we're tapped out. Yeah, we'll talk tomorrow the
- 40:43Speaker 4: next day about your five dollars eating challenge.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll think about it, dude.
- 40:46Speaker 4: I think you should do it.
- 40:46Speaker 1: I think it's possible.
- 40:48Speaker 4: Don't go ask my wife. I'm not, but I don't
- 40:51Speaker 4: go asking your wife tho, because she's gonna take you
- 40:52Speaker 4: not to do it.
- 40:53Speaker 1: I'm just saying, for the last like three weeks, I've
- 40:54Speaker 1: been trying to eat healthy and this will blow all
- 40:56Speaker 1: that up.
- 40:56Speaker 4: But this is all all the progress, right, No, that's
- 40:59Speaker 4: not true.
- 41:00Speaker 1: You're telling me seventy hot dogs won't blow the progress.
- 41:02Speaker 4: It's all on one day though, it's not like a
- 41:06Speaker 4: period of time of a month where you're putting all
- 41:08Speaker 4: this in your body consistently.
- 41:09Speaker 2: You'll get rid of this, Yeah, you can, you can recover.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Wait, what do you know? You don't know what you're
- 41:15Speaker 1: talking about.
- 41:17Speaker 2: Joey says, it takes some three days.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it'll all come out at once.
- 41:21Speaker 1: You're talking like a doctor, like you know you're talking
- 41:23Speaker 1: about twenty one thousand calories. Oh my god, I see
- 41:28Speaker 1: dude all three weeks.
- 41:30Speaker 4: It's also five hundred dollars.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I know. That's awesome.
- 41:33Speaker 4: That's awesome. All Right, we're done, Thank you. We'll see
