- 0:00Speaker 1: They ignore it for a while, but it will haunt
- 0:02Speaker 1: you and you will pay your life.
- 0:04Speaker 2: You will spend your lifetime paying that price.
- 0:07Speaker 1: There are six indies to measure success, and I want
- 0:12Speaker 1: to state them very quickly, so every time you say
- 0:15Speaker 1: I want to succeed, I want to break it down
- 0:18Speaker 1: for us. By the spirit of God, there are six indiices.
- 0:22Speaker 1: If you do not succeed by these parameters, you are
- 0:26Speaker 1: a failure. Can we begin sus Number one the first
- 0:33Speaker 1: index that is used to measure.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Your success.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Progress, your spiritual progress, your spiritual health.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Please write it down.
- 0:47Speaker 1: The first biblical index to measure success.
- 0:54Speaker 2: If you want to test if.
- 0:56Speaker 1: You are successful or if you are on the path
- 0:59Speaker 1: to success as a man, the first Biblical index is
- 1:03Speaker 1: your spiritual health. Yes, how the Bible puts it to
- 1:08Speaker 1: a Russian for time. It says that you prosper and
- 1:14Speaker 1: you be in health, even as thy.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Soul prosper it. What shall it profit a man?
- 1:21Speaker 1: It says if he gains the whole world and loses
- 1:25Speaker 1: his soul.
- 1:27Speaker 2: We have men.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Today in our society who use their godliness and their
- 1:33Speaker 1: spirituality as would I call it the collateral for success.
- 1:43Speaker 1: The kind of success that happens at the expense of
- 1:48Speaker 1: your spiritual life, your spiritual fire, your spiritual fervancy.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Is a demonic and dangerous success.
- 1:57Speaker 1: There is a kind of success called good success. Please
- 2:01Speaker 1: sylf tell me good success. That means there is bad success,
- 2:07Speaker 1: the kind of success where as you are rising financially,
- 2:11Speaker 1: or as you are rising in influence, your spiritual life
- 2:15Speaker 1: is suffering.
- 2:17Speaker 2: I made up my mind.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That if I fail in any area of my life,
- 2:23Speaker 1: let it not be my spiritual life. Great man, great leaders,
- 2:29Speaker 1: listening to me this this morning is a call was
- 2:33Speaker 1: to rest tare our spiritual passion. This appet, time to
- 2:37Speaker 1: make it, this appet, time to make it.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Study the world. I do not have time pray. I
- 2:43Speaker 2: do not have time.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Our families today, respectfully speaking, may be a reflection of
- 2:49Speaker 1: the spiritual dicadence that have happened in our lives.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Do you know it is a cause for a man
- 2:55Speaker 2: to wait for his children to pray for him.
- 2:57Speaker 1: No, No, you should be the one to lead them
- 3:02Speaker 1: in understanding spirituality. The first idea of spirituality from a
- 3:07Speaker 1: child should come from what he sees his father, do,
- 3:10Speaker 1: not what his father's saying. Doing something more than go,
- 3:19Speaker 1: I've got something more than go, something more than go.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I've done something more than go. All I have is Jesus.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I've got something more than go. I will tell it
- 3:38Speaker 1: to my world. Jesus is more than go.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Listen to me. Let me challenge us. Men.
- 3:48Speaker 1: We complain today that our young people are full of
- 3:52Speaker 1: moral dicadence, full of seriousness and irresponsibility. My question is
- 3:59Speaker 1: who at them?
- 4:03Speaker 2: Every time is sheep is lost?
- 4:06Speaker 1: The shepherd must take responsibility.
- 4:08Speaker 2: It's in the Bible.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Until God grants us grace to raise men and women
- 4:17Speaker 1: of spiritual excellence, men who pay attention to spiritual excellence
- 4:23Speaker 1: above and beyond any index for achievement. Spiritual success is
- 4:29Speaker 1: not the only dimension of success, but in order of priority,
- 4:33Speaker 1: it is number one. Let your children find you praying
- 4:36Speaker 1: in the morning. Let your children find you first in
- 4:40Speaker 1: Let your children find you with passion for the world.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Let your children find you with character and integrity. So
- 4:51Speaker 1: the first index to measure success is our spiritual progress.
- 4:55Speaker 2: Can I tell you this?
- 4:57Speaker 1: Let me, with every sense of resis expect an honor,
- 5:00Speaker 1: remind us that the day is going to come. If
- 5:04Speaker 1: Christ taries, every one of us will be no more.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's an uncomfortable truth. But it's the truth that we know.
- 5:11Speaker 1: If Christ tari is one day you and I will
- 5:14Speaker 1: have to sign out of this ram used to sing
- 5:21Speaker 1: an old hymn the seminary. It says, tars will be
- 5:26Speaker 1: passed from the earth and its toiling only remembered by
- 5:34Speaker 1: what we have done, only remembered, only remembered, only remembered
- 5:45Speaker 1: by what we have done. Chars would be passed from
- 5:50Speaker 1: the earth and its toilings only remembered by what we
- 5:58Speaker 1: have done. This is a call this morning to examine
- 6:04Speaker 1: our lives spiritually, your relationship with God and the level
- 6:10Speaker 1: of spiritual fire.
- 6:12Speaker 2: If you find out.
- 6:13Speaker 1: That somewhere in your pursuit for a job, you're pursued
- 6:18Speaker 1: for a political career, you're pursued for a name, you're
- 6:22Speaker 1: pursued for fame, you have.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Left Jesus somewhere.
- 6:26Speaker 1: This is a conference that challenges you to rush back
- 6:29Speaker 1: and say I am back.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Oh Lord, I'm not.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Ashamed today, I'm fifty five years. I dropped you when
- 6:36Speaker 1: I was twenty two because I wanted to go abroad
- 6:39Speaker 1: by force.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now I am back.
- 6:43Speaker 1: No matter what you have, if Jesus is not part
- 6:46Speaker 1: of them, and if Jesus is not above.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Have nothing?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Are we blessed? Second index very quickly. The second index
- 6:59Speaker 1: adding to scripture to measure success is your level of
- 7:05Speaker 1: mental transformation. Please write it down, glad and honor that
- 7:11Speaker 1: I'm talking to men. The second index that measures the
- 7:15Speaker 1: success of a man is not cars, is not money.
- 7:20Speaker 1: The level your level of mental transformation. You are successful
- 7:28Speaker 1: only to the degree to which you sustain superior belief systems.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Please write that expression down. Superior belief systems. Superior belief systems.
- 7:47Speaker 1: For as he think kt in his hearts, the Bible says,
- 7:51Speaker 1: so is he not? So he will become? For as
- 7:56Speaker 1: he think kt in his heart, it is very important.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Probbs Chapter twenty three and verse seven. Let's run through
- 8:07Speaker 1: a few scriptures. Please, Problems chapter twenty three and verse seven.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I want us to read it together, if it's possible,
- 8:16Speaker 1: If we have that project at twenty three and verse seven, Proverbs,
- 8:21Speaker 1: if you can't see.
- 8:22Speaker 2: The other one to read for us, he thinks in
- 8:25Speaker 2: his heart, so is he not? So? He will become?
- 8:30Speaker 2: You will Literally your.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Life gravitates along the lines of your belief systems.
- 8:44Speaker 2: If there is anything wrong with your results.
- 8:47Speaker 1: The problem thus are reportcasts and attempt to honor your
- 8:53Speaker 1: belief systems. Please pay attention, Please pay attention if I
- 9:00Speaker 1: find out that my life is commanding failure. I'm always
- 9:05Speaker 1: having financial problems, family problems, for Fillman problems. It is
- 9:12Speaker 1: not the problems the problems I report card that something
- 9:16Speaker 1: about my belief system keeps attracting.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Limitations to my life.
- 9:21Speaker 1: The real deliverance for a man is not just casting
- 9:25Speaker 1: out demons. The real deliverance is reconstructing your belief system
- 9:30Speaker 1: so that you have what the Bible calls the mind
- 9:34Speaker 1: of Christ. Philippian Chapter two and verse five. It says,
- 9:38Speaker 1: let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Jesus.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I admit to you that many of us are since
- 9:49Speaker 1: here god.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Sharing, well meaning people.
- 9:52Speaker 1: But largely we may have sustained belief systems that came
- 9:57Speaker 1: from culture, that came from our pasts, that came from
- 10:00Speaker 1: poor mentorship, that came from our failures, that came.
- 10:05Speaker 2: From wrong opinions.
- 10:08Speaker 1: We may have sustained these belief systems, and today they
- 10:11Speaker 1: are producing negative results.
- 10:13Speaker 2: In our lives.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Believe systems that sponsor greed, believe systems the sponsor laziness.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Believe systems the sponsor irresponsibility, believe systems, the sponsor entitlement.
- 10:32Speaker 2: When you come to God, among the many.
- 10:34Speaker 1: Things he does is to reconstruct your belief systems.
- 10:41Speaker 2: There are many people who believe today that there.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Are successes in the hands of someone else, and they
- 10:47Speaker 1: believe that somebody should succeed and come and make them successful.
- 10:53Speaker 2: This is the mindset, sadly speaking, that.
- 10:58Speaker 1: The average spectfully speaking, the average young man in this
- 11:03Speaker 1: country has an entitlement mentality, Let my father die and
- 11:07Speaker 1: give me land.
- 11:08Speaker 2: Let my father die and give me a house.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Deriving young people who continue to anticipate the death of
- 11:13Speaker 1: their parents in their lifetime. They're already discussing, where are
- 11:18Speaker 1: the papers to this land?
- 11:20Speaker 2: Where are the papers to this belief systems?
- 11:33Speaker 1: We are products of our belief systems. Your belief system
- 11:37Speaker 1: represents your ideology in some total of your philosophies. What
- 11:42Speaker 1: do you know about God and who taught you? What
- 11:46Speaker 1: do you know about Satan and who taught you? What
- 11:50Speaker 1: do you know about succeeding and who taught you? What
- 11:53Speaker 1: do you know about failure and who taught you? It
- 11:59Speaker 1: matters the construction of our belief systems. There is a
- 12:07Speaker 1: way the Bible says that semeth right onto a man.
- 12:11Speaker 1: But the end thereof are the ways of death. Let
- 12:15Speaker 1: me tell you something. Growing up, I had the opportunity
- 12:20Speaker 1: to see some of the finest, most godly, and most
- 12:26Speaker 1: sincere people that I would say then were around my life.
- 12:33Speaker 1: But my life was surrounded by people who were truly
- 12:37Speaker 1: failures by several standards. I saw my own father do
- 12:43Speaker 1: his best, great man and privileged to still have in
- 12:46Speaker 1: my life, and he was one person that I saw
- 12:50Speaker 1: God help, even among his contemporaries, to rise and make progress.
- 12:55Speaker 1: But there was a widespread from the region where I
- 12:58Speaker 1: came from, was a widespread of failure. It was like
- 13:02Speaker 1: a signature. And I said, this could not be God's design.
- 13:08Speaker 1: How come people would live in mediocre mediocre mind text.
- 13:13Speaker 2: I knew that something was wrong, and I made up
- 13:16Speaker 2: my mind as.
- 13:18Speaker 1: A very little boy, that in the name of Jesus,
- 13:21Speaker 1: I would not.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Live a life of failure and defeat.
- 13:23Speaker 1: That I would live a life that would represent the
- 13:25Speaker 1: purposes of God.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That I'll have the privilege and the honor.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Contending for transformation until we help the nations. Call upon
- 13:34Speaker 1: the name of the Lord, and glory be to the Lord,
- 13:37Speaker 1: that project is still ongoing and successfully. So Allelujah, listen
- 13:46Speaker 1: to me. You must make up your mind that you
- 13:50Speaker 1: will be transformed. Let me tell you a little story, Sah. Yes,
- 13:56Speaker 1: ago there is a hotel called Premier Hotel in Ibadan.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Some of you know where I'm talking about is Uphill.
- 14:07Speaker 1: I came into it by Danny many years ago.
- 14:11Speaker 2: I did not even have.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Transport fair complete transport fair. And I remember remember entering
- 14:24Speaker 1: that hotel because someone I was to meet asked me
- 14:33Speaker 1: to wait for him there. I said, my goodness, what
- 14:36Speaker 1: a nice place. I saw the faces of the people there.
- 14:39Speaker 1: It was not I late into the night, and the
- 14:45Speaker 1: person disappointed me. He said he would not be able
- 14:47Speaker 1: to make it. Where would I spend the night?
- 14:50Speaker 2: Now? I didn't any you were and I would dare
- 14:58Speaker 2: not even say, I want to ask how much the places?
- 15:02Speaker 2: True story? Because I could.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Not afford it. I was fortunate. As I was strolling around,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I found out there was a charge not too far there.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Fortunately it was a Friday and they were having night vigil.
- 15:23Speaker 1: I went and I space. I had night vigil there.
- 15:27Speaker 1: At least if I cannot sleep, let me pray.
- 15:32Speaker 2: True story. Now, let me tell you this.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Three years after that time, I had a programm in Ibadan.
- 15:46Speaker 1: And when they picked me, it was a convoy of
- 15:50Speaker 1: about five to six cars, and they were taking me
- 15:54Speaker 1: to my lodge.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Guess where they took me. And I saw them climbing
- 16:01Speaker 2: up here.
- 16:02Speaker 1: I put my hand and I said, my goodness, my God,
- 16:07Speaker 1: this time around, it was not in shame and dishonor.
- 16:11Speaker 1: I still saw the same faces. Some of them were
- 16:14Speaker 1: still there. And they took me to the highest suit.
- 16:18Speaker 1: And when they kept listen to me, the color of
- 16:24Speaker 1: my skin did not change, the sound of my voice
- 16:28Speaker 1: did not change, my height did not change.
- 16:35Speaker 2: The only thing that changed was my mind.
- 16:40Speaker 1: No matter what changes in your life, if your mind
- 16:43Speaker 1: remains the same, your results will remain the same. The
- 16:46Speaker 1: government can change your life, would not change. Your location
- 16:50Speaker 1: can change your life, will not change. The person you
- 16:55Speaker 1: are praying for to die can die. And yet nothing
- 16:58Speaker 1: would change. But if this thing remains the same and
- 17:01Speaker 1: your mind changes, I promise you your life will change.
- 17:06Speaker 2: The real problem is not disfavored.
- 17:10Speaker 1: The real problem is not the senator who has refused
- 17:13Speaker 1: to sign your contract. The real problem is that there
- 17:17Speaker 1: is something wrong with our philosophies.
- 17:20Speaker 2: And our belief systems.
- 17:21Speaker 1: The starting point for true success, second only to your
- 17:25Speaker 1: relationship with.
- 17:26Speaker 2: God, is your philosophy.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Abraham, From where thou art, lift up your eyes, not
- 17:34Speaker 1: where you want to go.
- 17:35Speaker 2: From where you are, lift up your eyes.
- 17:39Speaker 1: The greatest miracle that happened in my life, second only
- 17:43Speaker 1: to salvation and my encounter with the Holy Spirit, is
- 17:46Speaker 1: the miracle of sustaining a superior belief system.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Are we blessed? Number three? Very quickly?
- 17:58Speaker 1: The third in depth to measure success is the degree
- 18:06Speaker 1: to which you excel in your God given assignment. Write
- 18:10Speaker 1: it down, please, the degree to which you excel in
- 18:14Speaker 1: your God given assignment. Your assignment can have an expression
- 18:20Speaker 1: of your ambition. Your assignment is that which you were
- 18:24Speaker 1: sent to do here on earth. It says, law I
- 18:27Speaker 1: come in the volume of the book, as it is
- 18:31Speaker 1: written of me.
- 18:32Speaker 2: Law I come in.
- 18:34Speaker 1: The volume of the book nobody. Here is a biological accent.
- 18:38Speaker 1: How he put it, I must work the works of
- 18:40Speaker 1: him that sent me while it is there.
- 18:42Speaker 2: For the night cometh.
- 18:44Speaker 1: The night cometh where no man can work again, at
- 18:56Speaker 1: any level, you can still find purpose and make them
- 19:02Speaker 1: at any level. At any level you can find purpose, Please,
- 19:09Speaker 1: listen to me. Don't say I am too old, asks Abraham.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Don't say I am too young at Jeremiah. Don't say
- 19:19Speaker 1: I am too weak at Skideon. The Bible is full
- 19:24Speaker 1: of men that chill our excuses for purpose. At whatever age,
- 19:29Speaker 1: stage and level, there is still room to start.
- 19:36Speaker 2: That there is something that God has put within me.
- 19:39Speaker 2: Can I tell you this? In your assignment? Is your relevance?
- 19:44Speaker 2: In your assignment? Is your honor? In your assignment? Is
- 19:47Speaker 2: your influence?
- 19:49Speaker 1: A mango three does not produce posters. A mango three
- 19:54Speaker 1: does not produce publicity material. A mango three is not
- 19:58Speaker 1: called a postle or prophet. All it does is to
- 20:02Speaker 1: have big mango fruits. If the mango tree does not
- 20:05Speaker 1: have fruits, men will pass it without knowing. But the
- 20:09Speaker 1: moment fruit starts to come, it will start calling people,
- 20:12Speaker 1: and you would stand under it and even climb the
- 20:16Speaker 1: mango tree. If your life becomes like that mango tree,
- 20:19Speaker 1: no man will ignore you, not when you are using
- 20:22Speaker 1: your gift to savage generation. This therefore defines for us
- 20:29Speaker 1: a secret of frustration. If nobody is following you, and
- 20:34Speaker 1: nobody is placing a demand upon your life and your destiny,
- 20:38Speaker 1: the diagnosis is that you have not found your place
- 20:41Speaker 1: and destiny. The consequence of not finding your place and
- 20:45Speaker 1: destiny is that you will be angry. You will be frustrated.
- 20:50Speaker 1: That's why society is full of jealous and angry people
- 20:53Speaker 1: praying for others to fail as a consolation and a
- 20:57Speaker 1: succomb to their own failure. Is God speaking to us.
- 21:02Speaker 1: You must challenge yourself this morning that, in the name
- 21:06Speaker 1: of Jesus Christ, I will walk in the path of purpose.
- 21:09Speaker 1: In the name of Jesus Christ. The books that must
- 21:12Speaker 1: be written in my lifetime must be written in the
- 21:14Speaker 1: name of Jesus. The money that my life should bring
- 21:17Speaker 1: to the kingdom, I will not relent until that happens.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Can I challenge us?
- 21:22Speaker 2: Man?
- 21:23Speaker 1: God rested only on the seventh day. If you are
- 21:26Speaker 1: not in the seventh day, do not rest. Don't rest
- 21:30Speaker 1: on the second day. Don't rest on the third day.
- 21:33Speaker 2: God only rested on the seventh day.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Number one first index your spiritual progress. Number two your
- 21:46Speaker 1: level of mental transformation. I will still together please. Number
- 21:50Speaker 1: three your assignment the degree to which you have discovered
- 21:55Speaker 1: your define assignment.
- 21:59Speaker 2: You can go to bed happy and you can wake
- 22:04Speaker 2: up happy.
- 22:06Speaker 1: If you are not working in purpose. There is no
- 22:09Speaker 1: reason why you should be claiming long life. The Bible
- 22:11Speaker 1: says I shall not die, but live and declare, not.
- 22:15Speaker 2: Just live and roman.
- 22:17Speaker 1: The justification for longevities that you are using the time
- 22:21Speaker 1: to advance the kingdom. You become untouchable to the degree
- 22:28Speaker 1: to which your life supports kingdom. Home number four very quickly.
- 22:35Speaker 1: The fourth index to measure success is your health and
- 22:40Speaker 1: physical well being. I'm very glad I was told that
- 22:44Speaker 1: there is a session about mental health and so on
- 22:47Speaker 1: and so forth. The fourth index to measure success for
- 22:55Speaker 1: any man seated here and.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Listening to me is your health and your physical well being.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I have a confession to make.
- 23:13Speaker 1: I didn't use to pay as much attention to my
- 23:16Speaker 1: health as I do. Now.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Do you know why?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Because you see and this may be a word of
- 23:22Speaker 1: a word of advice for someone, especially people in ministry.
- 23:28Speaker 1: One of the fathers of faith called me in the
- 23:30Speaker 1: East after preaching in his conference, and.
- 23:33Speaker 2: He called me. He said, apostle, let me give you
- 23:36Speaker 2: an advice.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Be careful. Africans kill their prophets. He said, you must
- 23:41Speaker 1: pay attention to your health and because of realities like
- 23:45Speaker 1: the miraculous divine health are we together? And all these
- 23:50Speaker 1: spiritual realities they usually for many people become the justification
- 23:55Speaker 1: for careless living. We eat any how, we live any how,
- 24:00Speaker 1: and what we do not know that every time we
- 24:03Speaker 1: are administering death upon ourselves.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It is painful to label so much and not have your.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Opportunity to enjoy your sacrifices of years because.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Of carelessness, your physical well being and your health.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I made up my mind that from that time until forever,
- 24:27Speaker 1: I will pay attention to my health. I had the
- 24:30Speaker 1: honor of seeing uncles, fathers, senior colleagues. I saw very
- 24:38Speaker 1: agile and happy people become weak people. Now, please don't
- 24:42Speaker 1: feel sad if you are here and there's something wrong
- 24:45Speaker 1: with your health. In the name of Jesus, we are
- 24:47Speaker 1: praying and we believe for the power of God to
- 24:49Speaker 1: bring you healing.
- 24:50Speaker 2: In Jesus' name, what can I tell you this?
- 24:56Speaker 1: There are most people today if they had paid attention
- 25:00Speaker 1: to any healed held from its infancy, it would not
- 25:04Speaker 1: be beyond the level of management. Usually we just ignore
- 25:08Speaker 1: it and we call it faith until it victorial rates
- 25:11Speaker 1: to a level where it becomes an issue of concern.
- 25:17Speaker 1: We must pay attention to our health. One scripture again
- 25:22Speaker 1: that will help you and God rested, very powerful scripture.
- 25:28Speaker 1: It is good to rest, it is good to sleep.
- 25:32Speaker 1: We need our bodies for a long time, and we
- 25:36Speaker 1: must obtain grace from God. I can't remember where I
- 25:44Speaker 1: was traveling. While I was traveling, the driver was driving
- 25:50Speaker 1: so fast, and I asked him a question.
- 25:54Speaker 2: It was okay.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I was going for a meeting and he was running
- 25:57Speaker 1: so fast and ask him a question.
- 26:00Speaker 2: You the one going for the meeting. He said no.
- 26:02Speaker 2: I said, why are you Russian with me like this?
- 26:09Speaker 1: People have died just for childless driving away in agreement.
- 26:17Speaker 2: On a road that is not a trunk air road.
- 26:19Speaker 1: They're still driving at one twenty and one forty and
- 26:22Speaker 1: in the next five minutes they will still stop. Now, please,
- 26:26Speaker 1: let's take responsibility over our longevity and our physical health.
- 26:31Speaker 2: One of the ways that you keep yourself.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Alive is to protect the kind of information that is
- 26:36Speaker 1: around your environment. I tell you our world is full
- 26:40Speaker 1: of negative things that can depress you in less than.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Twenty four hours.
- 26:44Speaker 1: As a personal principle, I am very disciplined about the
- 26:48Speaker 1: information that comes around my ears. Why because there are
- 26:52Speaker 1: millions of people depending on my knowledge of God, depending
- 26:56Speaker 1: on the truth and the sermons that come for them.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I cannot be so selfish.
- 27:00Speaker 1: To point millions of people by not guarding my heart jealously.
- 27:04Speaker 1: You'll never find me around people gossiping, speaking talking about this.
- 27:08Speaker 1: I don't have that time. I'm on a project. You
- 27:11Speaker 1: must protect yourself. The Bible says, listen very carefully. The
- 27:15Speaker 1: Bible says a broken spirit can dry up the bones.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Negative news, bad news.
- 27:28Speaker 2: True story.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I pray my father does not watch this this broadcast
- 27:33Speaker 1: because of what I'm about to say. One time, my
- 27:37Speaker 1: dad called my mom and said she should never make
- 27:41Speaker 1: cabbage for him again, or something like that.
- 27:43Speaker 2: I said, cabbage, cabbage, that is a blessing. Do you
- 27:46Speaker 2: know what happened? He was watching a documentary and in
- 27:51Speaker 2: that documentary they.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Were talking about cabbage, and I don't know what is
- 27:55Speaker 1: it that cabbage carries.
- 27:56Speaker 2: And they started explaining a few.
- 27:58Speaker 1: Things, and I said, you see, for someone is happy
- 28:02Speaker 1: about the gift of cabbage, and a man who was
- 28:05Speaker 1: eating cabbage all his life. If we were to kill
- 28:08Speaker 1: you would have been dead now, and just because of it,
- 28:11Speaker 1: five or ten minutes marketing, you now reject cabbage in the.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Name of Jesus.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Let obtain grace to God our eyes, our ears, and
- 28:21Speaker 1: every information that comes to us now. Inasmuch as I
- 28:28Speaker 1: am through health, at the same time, I know that
- 28:31Speaker 1: everything God gave us, if it came from God, it
- 28:34Speaker 1: to not destroy you.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Is that true, because if you are done listening to
- 28:38Speaker 2: the dews and.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Food experts are done with you, you will live a
- 28:42Speaker 1: first life forever, because it would look as if there
- 28:44Speaker 1: are demons in every food that will tell you orange
- 28:47Speaker 1: has something that can kill you, Banana has something that
- 28:50Speaker 1: can kill you. Evil rise that you are eating you
- 28:52Speaker 1: are about to die tomorrow, and at the end of
- 28:55Speaker 1: it there is nothing again to eat. The Bible teaches
- 28:58Speaker 1: us how to eat well, gift thanks when you get things. Allelujah.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Everything you find in the Bible that they ate, you
- 29:25Speaker 1: can't eat it.
- 29:27Speaker 2: If Jesus ate it. He had fish, he had bread,
- 29:32Speaker 2: he had corn, he had figs. Manna came from heaven.
- 29:38Speaker 1: It was even the angels themselves are scented. Let's be careful.
- 29:44Speaker 1: It is good to protect because God the information that
- 29:48Speaker 1: we hear.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Let's try another.
- 29:50Speaker 1: I can't see, Praise God, I will see together very quickly.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I have two men who wrap up. Number five is
- 30:00Speaker 2: God helping us this morning.
- 30:01Speaker 1: The fifth index to measure success biblically is your financial prosperity.
- 30:09Speaker 1: This is the fifth biblical index to measure prosperity and success.
- 30:18Speaker 1: No matter how much you succeed, if it does not
- 30:21Speaker 1: translate into your financial wellbeing, you're in trouble. The subject
- 30:29Speaker 1: of finance has been quite a controversial one all across
- 30:32Speaker 1: the Body of Christ, with very sharp divides. There are
- 30:36Speaker 1: people who absolutely believe in the necessity of financial resources
- 30:44Speaker 1: for their wellbeing, their families, and the advancement of their lives.
- 30:48Speaker 1: And then the other side of the pendulum, we have
- 30:50Speaker 1: people who, for whatever reason, may seem to have a
- 30:53Speaker 1: problem with the blessing.
- 30:54Speaker 2: Of the Lord. In both cases, I know that there
- 30:58Speaker 2: are exaggerations. There are people who.
- 31:01Speaker 1: The context of your communication as far as finances concern
- 31:04Speaker 1: is canality materialism, and all they teach you is just
- 31:08Speaker 1: for self agradizement.
- 31:10Speaker 2: You know, there is just a promotion of flesh.
- 31:14Speaker 1: However, let me submit to you that if you ever
- 31:18Speaker 1: subscribe for a life of poverty, it.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Is a dangerous and a defeated life.
- 31:26Speaker 1: A man can prosper with the dignity of kingdom, integrity
- 31:31Speaker 1: financially speaking, your attention and your heart still being on
- 31:36Speaker 1: Jesus while you live a life that is meaningful and useful.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Can I tell you this lack of financial resources will
- 31:44Speaker 1: cost you more pain than demon spirits.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I assure you. If I ask all of us.
- 31:57Speaker 1: To submit prayer requests right now, just write two things
- 32:01Speaker 1: that you want God to do in your life. I
- 32:04Speaker 1: may be wrong, correct me if I am, But over
- 32:07Speaker 1: eighty percent of us here our prayer request will have
- 32:11Speaker 1: one expression or the other of financial advancement.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Am I right? If I'm Correctut? Amen?
- 32:24Speaker 1: It takes money to build a good house. It takes
- 32:28Speaker 1: money to give your children good education. It takes money
- 32:31Speaker 1: to live well yourself. Financial prospective gives you options. It
- 32:38Speaker 1: grants you the grace to live a life of integrity.
- 32:42Speaker 1: It's a terrible thing to live your life worrying about money.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Lack of financial resources can produce a pletora of compromises.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Many times when we talk about.
- 33:00Speaker 1: When we talk about our children who compromise here and there,
- 33:05Speaker 1: they do not compromise.
- 33:08Speaker 2: Because they have all the abundance they need.
- 33:11Speaker 1: It is lack of those financial resources that eventually lead
- 33:15Speaker 1: to compromise.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Finances.
- 33:20Speaker 1: We must trust God and obtain grace that God will
- 33:23Speaker 1: bring us into financial sabbaths. We must trust God for
- 33:28Speaker 1: grace that God will bless us even financially. I made
- 33:33Speaker 1: up my mind that as a minister of the gospel
- 33:37Speaker 1: and as a leader, that I will never raise the
- 33:39Speaker 1: people who are just spiritually on fire.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Listen, there is an angle of influence that is.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Controlled by the availability of financial resources. There is a
- 33:50Speaker 1: degree of financial availability that must be there to escort
- 33:56Speaker 1: you to the corridors of power and influence. You cannot
- 34:00Speaker 1: separate influence. You cannot separate well doing from the availability
- 34:06Speaker 1: of financial resources. I always say this way. The name
- 34:12Speaker 1: of Jesus is very heavy. It takes financial resources to
- 34:15Speaker 1: lift it up for the nations to see Allelujah. The
- 34:23Speaker 1: last index and then will wrap up to measure. Success
- 34:30Speaker 1: is quality destiny relationships. You are only successful to the
- 34:37Speaker 1: degree to which you build quality destiny relationships. If you
- 34:48Speaker 1: ever will be fruitful in life, you will have to
- 34:52Speaker 1: do it on the basis of relationships. Everything in life
- 34:57Speaker 1: produces on the basis of relationshi It takes a relationship between.
- 35:02Speaker 2: A husband and a wife to produce children.
- 35:06Speaker 1: It takes a relationship between a man and the Holy
- 35:09Speaker 1: Spirit to produce a life of exploits. Our world is relational.
- 35:17Speaker 1: If you do not understand the principles of relationships, you
- 35:21Speaker 1: might live a life of failure and utter defeat.
- 35:26Speaker 2: In my final session, I'm going.
- 35:29Speaker 1: To be teaching us on the concept of fulfillment, and
- 35:33Speaker 1: one of the things that will be touching on is relationships.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I have benefited today from profitable and meaningful relationships. Relationship
- 35:45Speaker 1: with God, relationship with the Holy Spirit, relationship with mentorstand fathers,
- 35:53Speaker 1: relationships with colleagues and contemporaries, relationship with sons, daughters and
- 35:58Speaker 1: proteges and mentees. We live our lives immersed in relationships
- 36:05Speaker 1: war Besides a man who looks back and finds out
- 36:09Speaker 1: you are alone. The Bible says it is not good
- 36:12Speaker 1: for man to be alone. He was not just saying
- 36:15Speaker 1: it in the context of marriage.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Alone.
- 36:18Speaker 1: If you look back and there is nobody, no shoulder
- 36:22Speaker 1: you can cry on. Our society is full of lonely people,
- 36:28Speaker 1: wealthy but lonely, educated but lonely. There are parents in
- 36:36Speaker 1: all age, all their children deserts them and they're alone.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Guess what the Bible says in the multitude of men
- 36:47Speaker 1: is the King's honor.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Have you been blessed this morning?
- 36:54Speaker 1: A quick recap in one minute before I wrap up
- 36:56Speaker 1: my session. The Lord brought you are understanding this morning
- 37:02Speaker 1: the idea of success, that success means to excel, to
- 37:07Speaker 1: do well, to advance. And we said that psychologically speaking
- 37:12Speaker 1: and even spiritually speaking, there is a dimension of.
- 37:15Speaker 2: Your fulfillment that is time to progress.
- 37:19Speaker 1: You cannot feel fulfilled and you feel stagnated when you
- 37:24Speaker 1: feel your failure. And that God is not against our success.
- 37:30Speaker 1: He used two words for Joshua, prosperity and success. And
- 37:35Speaker 1: that I said there are six biblical indices.
- 37:38Speaker 2: To measure a man's success.
- 37:40Speaker 1: So when you say I am successful in the kingdom,
- 37:43Speaker 1: we must test what you have said against these six parameters.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Number one your spiritual progress, we said. Number two, your
- 37:51Speaker 1: level of mental transformation, so sustaining superior belief systems. Number
- 37:57Speaker 1: three the extent to which you excel as far as
- 38:00Speaker 1: your God ordained as simentis concern. Numberfore your health and
- 38:06Speaker 1: physical well being. Number five the availability of financial resources,
- 38:12Speaker 1: the degree to which you are able to do well
- 38:15Speaker 1: having financial resources and using it effectively for your own comfort,
- 38:21Speaker 1: your family, the advancement of the kingdom and betterment of society.
- 38:25Speaker 2: And finally, the.
- 38:27Speaker 1: Degree to which you sustain quality relationships that help you
- 38:31Speaker 1: know God, help you preserve your values, and help you
- 38:34Speaker 1: contribute your quota to the advancement of the kingdom and
- 38:38Speaker 1: nation building. If you excel in these six areas, then
- 38:42Speaker 1: indeed you are successful.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Can I tell you this? Based on these.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Parameters, even five over six is failure.
- 38:50Speaker 2: You must excel in all of them.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Let me wrap up with this scripture Genesis twenty four
- 38:55Speaker 1: vers one.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Please lets arise as we pray.
- 38:59Speaker 1: Genesis twenty four Verse one. Media, please help us. This
- 39:03Speaker 1: is the last scripture, Genesis twenty four and verse one.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Please read with me if everyone, if you can see it,
- 39:12Speaker 2: read with me. Ready want to read?
- 39:14Speaker 1: And Abraham was all and well stricken in age, And
- 39:19Speaker 1: the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things. Now you're
- 39:24Speaker 1: going to put your name where Abraham is and read
- 39:28Speaker 1: it as a prophecy, and then we'll pray.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Are you ready now? And Joshua Salman.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Was all and well stricken in old age, And the
- 39:37Speaker 1: Lord had blessed Joshua Salman in how many things, how
- 39:42Speaker 1: many things turn it into a prayer. Please lift your voice.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for this word. I clear and declare
- 39:50Speaker 1: as a visionary man. I am making progress. I had
- 39:54Speaker 1: fun spiritually, I had false mentally.
- 39:59Speaker 2: I fans as far as my assignment and.
- 40:02Speaker 1: My God or their destinies concern my career and my pursuit.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I advancing my health and my physical wellbeing. I advanced financially,
- 40:15Speaker 1: no poverty, no luck. I make definite intentional progress. I
- 40:21Speaker 1: advanced relationally. If someone pray, let it be from the
- 40:28Speaker 1: depth of your heart in Jesus might name.
- 41:00Speaker 2: We are prayed as we have sat on his hearing
- 41:05Speaker 2: it
