- 0:02Speaker 1: Kyle, unfug with three things we need to know. What
- 0:04Speaker 1: do you got?
- 0:04Speaker 2: Apparently, the trade fight with Canada and us, America, has
- 0:09Speaker 2: now reached the point where we're just.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Going to rename their lakes.
- 0:13Speaker 2: The president signed an order to start calling Lake Ontario
- 0:16Speaker 2: Lake America. Canada immediately responded with, no, you're not. So now,
- 0:21Speaker 2: us two countries are fighting on that on top of
- 0:23Speaker 2: all the tariffs they are already throwing at each other.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Silly. Things are real mature right now.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I have a theory on that, by the way. Okay?
- 0:31Speaker 4: So I've been watching on Paramount Plus Lioness, right, which
- 0:34Speaker 4: is a Tyler Sheridan thing, and it's crazy stuff. You know,
- 0:37Speaker 4: there's kidnapping Russian spies, and they're kidnapping our spies. I
- 0:40Speaker 4: feel whenever Trump does something like this, like I'm going
- 0:43Speaker 4: to rename Lake Ontario and it becomes a huge story
- 0:46Speaker 4: because there's something else going on.
- 0:48Speaker 3: It's a distraction.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Yes.
- 0:50Speaker 4: He's got everybody now talking about Lake Ontario.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Meanwhile, we're kidnapping Russian spies somewhere. That's what I think.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That's my two cents.
- 0:56Speaker 4: In the meantime, toilet paper is going to get more
- 0:59Speaker 4: expensive because of this.
- 1:00Speaker 1: And I don't like it.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:02Speaker 2: In the meantime, CNN had a pretty embarrassing screw-up while
- 1:06Speaker 2: covering Dolly Parton's death. They accidentally put a picture of
- 1:09Speaker 2: a Dolly impersonator on TV, thinking it was actually her, saying...
- 1:13Speaker 2: This person passed away. And everyone was like, oh, my gosh,
- 1:17Speaker 2: that's not Dolly Parton. Even the impersonator was like, why
- 1:20Speaker 2: would you choose that picture? Like, it's very clearly not
- 1:23Speaker 2: Dolly Parton. It's very clearly a Dolly impersonator. And now
- 1:26Speaker 2: CNN is apologizing to the family and anyone else.
- 1:29Speaker 3: They may have confused or offended in the process.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Now, completely unrelated in the sense of those two things,
- 1:35Speaker 2: but definitely related because of Dolly Parton. There is a
- 1:38Speaker 2: tropical storm that has started brewing. And you know how
- 1:40Speaker 2: they always name the storms. It is Tropical Storm Dolly.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It just formed in the Atlantic and people got so
- 1:46Speaker 2: worked up over the name that the National Hurricane Center
- 1:49Speaker 2: was like, I just want to remind everyone that this
- 1:52Speaker 2: is just a very odd coincidence because the name for
- 1:56Speaker 2: this next storm was picked out years ago and has
- 1:59Speaker 2: absolutely nothing to do with Dolly Parton's death.
- 2:03Speaker 3: It's a very, very odd coincidence.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's kind of a nice tribute.
- 2:07Speaker 4: The thing about CNN though with the news anchored or
- 2:09Speaker 4: posting the wrong picture, it's like There are hundreds of
- 2:12Speaker 4: thousands of photos of Dolly Parton you can pick.
- 2:15Speaker 3: So many.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Like, she's one of the most famous people in the
- 2:17Speaker 4: world for the longest time. Why would they pick the
- 2:19Speaker 4: wrong photo? Like, who did that?
- 2:21Speaker 1: And this is CNN. They shouldn't have that screw up.
- 2:22Speaker 5: I know.
- 2:22Speaker 1: Unless it was an AI thing. That's probably exactly what
- 2:25Speaker 1: it was. Still, still.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Either way, a big mistake.
- 2:27Speaker 2: And they said, sorry. After more than a month of
- 2:31Speaker 2: this trial, Lindsay Clancy's fate is now officially in the
- 2:34Speaker 2: hands of the jury.
- 2:36Speaker 3: They are back this morning for day two of deliberations.
- 2:38Speaker 2: They spent about three and a half hours talking it
- 2:40Speaker 2: over yesterday without reaching a verdict.
- 2:42Speaker 3: So now everyone's basically just waiting, waiting.
- 2:45Speaker 2: For that courtroom notification to see if they've made a
- 2:47Speaker 2: decision on what will happen with this mom accused of
- 2:50Speaker 2: killing her three kids. Okay, I have no idea how
- 2:53Speaker 2: this has never happened before, but for the first time ever,
- 2:57Speaker 2: Miss USA is a mom, just as Kelly's 31, married
- 3:01Speaker 2: with a kid, and until they changed the rules a
- 3:03Speaker 2: few years ago, she literally would never have been allowed
- 3:05Speaker 2: to compete, and now she is our Miss USA. She
- 3:08Speaker 2: won the whole thing, gets a $ 150, 000 salary, a Range Rover,
- 3:11Speaker 2: and a luxury apartment in Miami for a year. That's awesome.
- 3:14Speaker 2: I don't know why it took 75 years for that to.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Happen, but I think that is awesome, and congratulations, Kelly.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Do justice, Kelly. And that's what you need to know.
- 3:23Speaker 1: All right. So golf is in the news, right?
- 3:26Speaker 4: Because of this whole Callaway golf and what's called do good?
- 3:30Speaker 3: Good, good.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Good, good golf or something like that.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Good, good is like the brand that. it's the actual brand.
- 3:35Speaker 2: And they teamed up with Callaway to come out with
- 3:37Speaker 2: a driver. And in their ad, they have this guy
- 3:40Speaker 2: come and like literally push this girl down.
- 3:43Speaker 3: To the ground and say, don't touch my driver.
- 3:45Speaker 2: And everyone's like, wow, that's a little domestic violence-y. And
- 3:49Speaker 2: now the company is getting canceled. Callaway's stock dropped. Good
- 3:53Speaker 2: Good was like a sponsor of a PGA tour. And
- 3:55Speaker 2: they said, we don't want you to sponsor us anymore.
- 3:57Speaker 2: And all of the websites that sold the Good Good stuff,
- 4:00Speaker 2: they pulled their stuff from their websites.
- 4:03Speaker 3: It's, that is like.
- 4:04Speaker 6: Next level like i mean people were enraged about this
- 4:08Speaker 6: i felt like every video i was well.
- 4:10Speaker 2: You wonder how did this get through yeah like how
- 4:13Speaker 2: did this get through like what like who who didn't
- 4:17Speaker 2: put their foot down and just say um i gotta
- 4:19Speaker 2: raise my hand here and say this may not be
- 4:21Speaker 2: a good look but.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Also are you not allowed to make mistakes and say
- 4:24Speaker 4: sorry sorry like what if you can't call it a
- 4:26Speaker 4: legendary brand and they do good i mean i'm not
- 4:28Speaker 4: a golfer but i'm Do you want to know.
- 4:29Speaker 2: The interesting fun fact that I learned this morning is
- 4:32Speaker 2: that apparently Callaway was in the middle of trying to
- 4:35Speaker 2: like sell. I don't get the stock market, but apparently
- 4:38Speaker 2: there was something with the stocks where some people are
- 4:41Speaker 2: now theorizing that this was on purpose because they wanted
- 4:44Speaker 2: the stock prices to tank so.
- 4:46Speaker 3: That they could sell them. Because when I watched the
- 4:48Speaker 3: video too, when.
- 4:49Speaker 4: You watch the video, you're like, what the hell? But
- 4:51Speaker 4: Dylan's got inside scoop.
- 4:53Speaker 7: I do.
- 4:54Speaker 5: What do you got?
- 4:55Speaker 7: I do. So I do have a bestie on the
- 4:57Speaker 7: inside at Good Good. And I thought it was rage
- 5:01Speaker 7: bait at first too, because that's a tactic that a
- 5:03Speaker 7: lot of companies are using. But she kind of explained
- 5:05Speaker 7: to me their thought process behind it. And I will
- 5:08Speaker 7: say the clip that got clipped, it's... It's bad, but
- 5:11Speaker 7: that's the first two seconds of the ad. And so
- 5:14Speaker 7: she explained, like, their original concept. And I still feel
- 5:17Speaker 7: like they could have done it another way. But it was, like,
- 5:21Speaker 7: definitely more... It was different in their heads, I think.
- 5:24Speaker 1: How different?
- 5:25Speaker 2: Well, I kind of get it because I actually saw there's, like,
- 5:27Speaker 2: a throwback clip that's circulating the internets.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I don't know if it's gotten to your algorithm yet,
- 5:31Speaker 3: you guys.
- 5:32Speaker 2: But there was a Snickers commercial that featured.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Oh, my gosh. What was that?
- 5:35Speaker 1: Betty White.
- 5:36Speaker 3: And they're literally tackling her. And it's like... They're like.
- 5:40Speaker 2: snickers praying that nobody sees this ad again right now
- 5:44Speaker 2: but i'm guessing they probably were going for something like
- 5:46Speaker 2: that because at the time that was kind of a
- 5:48Speaker 2: funny ad i.
- 5:49Speaker 3: Thought that was a parody.
- 5:50Speaker 6: Of the um obsession.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Yes they were trying to kind of parody obsession yeah.
- 5:54Speaker 4: I've seen a ton of articles but okay so your
- 5:57Speaker 4: friend is did she get fired no.
- 5:59Speaker 7: She didn't get fired but everyone around her kind of.
- 6:02Speaker 5: Did kind of or did did this is all very
- 6:07Speaker 5: recent but she also runs some of the social medias
- 6:12Speaker 5: so she's been seeing all the DMs and hate comments
- 6:14Speaker 5: and it's gone crazy like I think people are taking
- 6:18Speaker 5: it very very far which I understand the backlash for
- 6:21Speaker 5: sure but.
- 6:23Speaker 4: Especially if you are a victim or any kind.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Of domestic abuse seeing that video.
- 6:30Speaker 7: They should have gone about it in a very different
- 6:32Speaker 7: way like there's so many creative ideas out there you
- 6:35Speaker 7: know that's not one of them yeah so.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Also was obsession big enough of a movie for them.
- 6:40Speaker 6: To parody it was a big enough movie but i
- 6:42Speaker 6: don't know if a lot of people like had real
- 6:44Speaker 6: i mean it was big because it was this young
- 6:46Speaker 6: 20 year old director made a ton of money it
- 6:48Speaker 6: started the the indy navarette girl and then i just
- 6:51Speaker 6: don't think a lot of people have actually watched the
- 6:53Speaker 6: movie a lot of people know about the movie i
- 6:55Speaker 6: don't know but that's what i'm saying i'm like it
- 6:57Speaker 6: wasn't like Star Wars.
- 6:59Speaker 3: And everyone knows it's a Star Wars period.
- 7:01Speaker 1: You're not taking somebody down with a lightsaber. You're pushing
- 7:03Speaker 1: a girl down.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I know all about obsession.
- 7:05Speaker 7: Have not seen the movie.
- 7:06Speaker 5: Right.
- 7:08Speaker 4: It made like hundreds of millions of dollars. I mean,
- 7:10Speaker 4: a lot of people did see the movie.
