- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the day on this Monday. We made it through Monday. Yep, yep,
- 0:07Speaker 1: yep we did. I'm at work on a Monday. Look
- 0:14Speaker 1: at God, Monday different, different, y'all. Come on in here
- 0:26Speaker 1: right up, Sunday, get him and it's your turn. Steve.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, listen. Uh. It's just something I think about
- 0:38Speaker 2: from time to time, you know, and I want you
- 0:42Speaker 2: to be aware of something that I've had to become
- 0:44Speaker 2: a well because, you know, especially with social media out
- 0:48Speaker 2: here and everything, you know, some you know, it's really
- 0:55Speaker 2: best not to read the comments. I think social media
- 0:59Speaker 2: has proved a point that television was trying to prove
- 1:03Speaker 2: for a long time. Everybody don't deserve to be miked up, photographed,
- 1:12Speaker 2: or filmed. It used to be you had to go
- 1:17Speaker 2: and you know, go through a casting call and you
- 1:21Speaker 2: had to audition, you had to compete to win the
- 1:26Speaker 2: honor to be miked up, photographed or filmed. Well, because
- 1:32Speaker 2: of social media, there are no more requirements. There's no
- 1:36Speaker 2: more auditioning. You don't need to check with nobody. All
- 1:39Speaker 2: you got to do is open yourself an account or
- 1:42Speaker 2: a page. All you got to do is post it
- 1:45Speaker 2: and now all of a sudden, you are everything you
- 1:48Speaker 2: think you are. And that's the key part. You're everything
- 1:52Speaker 2: you think you are. It's people who post every day
- 1:57Speaker 2: that's got eight followers, got get get no likes, two likes,
- 2:03Speaker 2: and they own that every day and got so much
- 2:07Speaker 2: to say. And what I've discovered about social media is
- 2:11Speaker 2: they're starting to throw this word karma around all the time.
- 2:16Speaker 2: They look at your life and anything happens to you,
- 2:18Speaker 2: all of a sudden, it's karma. Karma comes from Eastern religion, Hinduism,
- 2:23Speaker 2: Hindu and Buddhism and all of that. That's where it
- 2:26Speaker 2: comes from. It's a principle. Now where y'all Christians and
- 2:33Speaker 2: Jewish people and and and and and and and and
- 2:36Speaker 2: whatever you are, where you started coming from? Taking that?
- 2:40Speaker 2: I don't know, but it's not always karma. And you
- 2:45Speaker 2: got to be careful with that, man, because it just
- 2:48Speaker 2: really ticks me off. You know, a lady had uh
- 2:53Speaker 2: had a child and they found out discovered on that
- 2:56Speaker 2: the child had autism. Do you know somebody said, well,
- 3:01Speaker 2: that's karma, and I go, wait a minute, man, what
- 3:06Speaker 2: And it's amazing how people use that word to become
- 3:11Speaker 2: so judgmental, like they're an authority on that. Stop giving
- 3:15Speaker 2: people authority over your life that you shouldn't be giving
- 3:19Speaker 2: it to listen to me, Do you know what I
- 3:21Speaker 2: don't do. I don't take criticism from people. I don't
- 3:24Speaker 2: take advice from Who are you to criticize me when
- 3:30Speaker 2: you ain't walked in my shoes? The people that's criticizing
- 3:33Speaker 2: you don't even walk in your shoes. You know why
- 3:36Speaker 2: because they couldn't, Most of them couldn't. They couldn't possibly
- 3:41Speaker 2: have done what you've done, accomplished what you've accomplished, been
- 3:45Speaker 2: through what you've been through, survived it, and that's what
- 3:49Speaker 2: they mad about. So now here they come waiting on
- 3:52Speaker 2: something to happen to you and then tell you that
- 3:55Speaker 2: it's karma. No, man, it's called life. When you lose
- 3:58Speaker 2: a loved one, ain't calmer, that's life. When something happens
- 4:04Speaker 2: to your child, your child is born a certain way,
- 4:07Speaker 2: are you something happens to your child, that's not karma,
- 4:12Speaker 2: that's not caarma. Now, if you out here committing wrongs,
- 4:17Speaker 2: there are some things that result. They're like some consequences
- 4:20Speaker 2: are calmer, some are If you commit a crime, and
- 4:25Speaker 2: you wind up in jail. Well that those two are
- 4:29Speaker 2: directly related. But you can't just draw two happenings in
- 4:34Speaker 2: people's life and put it together and you make that karma. No,
- 4:39Speaker 2: when you commit a crime and you go to jail,
- 4:41Speaker 2: you can call it karma if it's really justice. It's
- 4:45Speaker 2: really it's really what happens when you commit a crime. Now,
- 4:49Speaker 2: when you commit a crime and you get away with it,
- 4:53Speaker 2: God could be doing you some favor. Now issue you
- 4:56Speaker 2: are warning. That's what happens to a lot of people.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They ignore the warning. God gives everybody a warning. He
- 5:03Speaker 2: gives you an opportunity to go sit down somewhere to
- 5:07Speaker 2: check yourself, correct yourself, and go somewhere and sit down.
- 5:13Speaker 2: You know what I Meantimes people tell me, hey, hey, man,
- 5:15Speaker 2: you need to check yourself. You know, growing up in
- 5:18Speaker 2: the hood, they man, check yourself like you be talking
- 5:20Speaker 2: smack with a dude. They may, hey, check yourself. He
- 5:23Speaker 2: giving you a warning. Now check yourself, because if you
- 5:27Speaker 2: keep down this path that he'd have told you, there's
- 5:29Speaker 2: gonna be some consequences. Y'all be conscious of the word colma.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Don't let people twist your life up with that what
- 5:36Speaker 2: you're going through is sometimes it's just life. It's just
- 5:39Speaker 2: the test of life. Everybody has them, ups and downs, trials, tribulations,
- 5:45Speaker 2: victories and woes. Everybody have them. So when you winning,
- 5:49Speaker 2: is that calma to When God shows you grace and favor?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Is that calma? Where a comma ad? Then when you're
- 5:57Speaker 2: doing something to help somebody else, what a calma? Comment? Say? Na, Man,
- 6:01Speaker 2: they wait on you to stumble and then they attach
- 6:04Speaker 2: calma to it. That's not what it is. Every time
- 6:07Speaker 2: you stumble is not a punishment for something you did.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Sometimes you just get tested. Sometimes life just come your
- 6:13Speaker 2: way and you ain't even looking for it, and things
- 6:16Speaker 2: happen in life. It's just called life, y'all. It's not
- 6:18Speaker 2: always calm. Just remember that. Don't let people hold you
- 6:21Speaker 2: to that. Hey, y'all, listen to me. Have a great
- 6:23Speaker 2: day today. Enjoy yourself today, live in peace, Get a
- 6:28Speaker 2: relationship with God and enjoy an uncommon amount of peace
