- @f1capper: And we're back. We got push the cash betting preview here with Andy bet and I Nate Rogers. It is Phoenix. We finished concluded the season opener at St. Pete's. ⁓ Great race. We'll get into a recap, but I think we're looking forward to race number two. What has it been like eight years since we've been to Phoenix here? So in Indy, so this is going to be fun, interesting. And then we'll get to the Arlington GP. right after which I'm super excited. But guys, before we kick off for Phoenix, let's talk about St. Pete. And IndieBet was actually Boots on the Ground, so I did wanna see what the vibes were like. What did you like? What was your favorite thing? Indy_Bet: Yeah man, place was packed. It was great. Never seen it more crowded. I was there all day Saturday, all day Sunday obviously. Truck race was pretty cool. Just see those trucks flying around and I wish I ⁓ got a couple tips to bet on a couple things there. I missed it. ⁓ Couldn't find it on the books but yeah man it was a... It was a gift. missed a gift pillow was dropped at four to one. We should have known better We'll never see four to one again Some of our boys in the apex insider discourage chat I won't mention names, but they were in the discord saying you got a bet below top three at least you got a bet flow the to win and You know look I was all over McLaughlin. I got the closing line value. I had eight to one in my hand That's what you try to do road and street courses. You want to get closing line value? ⁓ Really the race came down to the first pit stop. It all came down to Polo stayed out, saved his red tires. I sitting there in turn one, the second I saw him out on his own, you could tell he pushed hard. He skidded around turn one and then McLaughlin and Erickson got caught up in some traffic coming out of the pits, little bit of battle that cost him three, four seconds. Polo did his thing, gone, race was over. Then at that point, ⁓ it was a prayer and a hope just to make sure McLaughlin came home with his two and a half to one top three. ⁓ they made some money, I think you made some money and some other things, but ⁓ McLaughlin's top three saved me ⁓ for a break even week and then I got free t-shirt, that was about it. Otherwise that's it, that's all I walked away with, but man the race was packed, it was awesome. ⁓ @f1capper: Yeah, I see that. I see that. Indy_Bet: One quick story I'll give you guys. was playing around in the paddock trying to get some information about the tires and asking engineers questions. They're probably like, why is this guy asking about tires? And I can't tell any of this because I'm about to bet a ton of money on your driver or not. ⁓ But I ran it. My son took a picture with McLaughlin. And as I'm taking the picture, I'm like, hey, man, Cash had eight to one for me. He knew. He knew his odds. He smiled. He's like, I got you. And ⁓ then later on, know, Polo came up and gave my kid a fist bump. And he said, good luck. And I should have known there to bet Polo. But my son was happy. He cashed his top three on McLaughlin. I had to pay him money, which hurt when I wasn't feeding my own account with McLaughlin 8 to 1. But yeah, good race, man. It was a ton of fun. Love St. Pete. It's my home track. So yeah, we were on it. Like, look, we had the right thing. We had the closing line value. Just McLaughlin couldn't bring it home. And we got pulled out again. It happens. @f1capper: Got pillowed, that is the term for sure. I did get in on that top three. I'm a little disappointed in myself because I knew in the back of my mind I should really unload on that. And I agree with you. mean, you got to take that eight to one with Scott. Obviously I was on that too. Yeah, it's just pillow man. It's his world and we're living in it. So he's just so, so good right now. We're just. witnessing greatness. And that was a big reason why when you and I, Nate, when we talked about the future spot, I was afraid like we'd go into this race and he would just dominate. So was like, I'll take it right now that the champs odds and we don't know what it is, but yeah. What do you think, Nate? What did you think of the race? @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I mean, I was just excited to watch him racing that even with Polo is like winning by 20 seconds. I was excited to watch it. So, you know, I don't know how long that'll last, but I definitely appreciate his greatness and what's going on. ⁓ I do want to kind of go back to some stuff we talked about last week. ⁓ First one, kind of a correction of, cause when I read about the tire rule, they have to ⁓ run two green flag ⁓ laps. I'd read that two different places and I looked into it more because people did not do that in the race. They did pit on that first caution. I Rossi did it and Dixon changed like one tire or something. And the rule is still what it was before where they just have to start a lap. add a green flag with those tires. So I'm not really sure where that got mixed up, but just to kind of make that correction and to keep in mind moving forward. And then the other thing is that I kind of thought it was going to be like a three or four stop race, but then those alternates like Polo did 38 laps on the alternates, which were longer than anyone else did on primaries, which I mean, he's a little better at. you know, working those tires and massaging them, but ⁓ pretty much everyone was able to do really long stints on those alternates. And so that's a big shift from last year's street races where they were doing like 12, you know, even less than 10 laps on those reds. So that'll kind of be just something to keep in mind in future street course races. looks like Firestone went way the other direction with the tires to try to come back with that. ⁓ Another thing I've brought up in the preview was that plus 50 % of the time in the track's history that the winner comes from row one and row two and we got that again with Palau winning in the first two rows and then another stat I brought up was that you know on average you have two podium finishers that start in the first two rows and that happened with McLaughlin and Palau so it's not going to work out like that every single time you know we have those stats but just kind of wanted to throw that out there that those stats do kind of matter more than just like saying them for fun you know that it's something to think about when you're looking at these tracks of kind of how the race can evolve. ⁓ Other smaller things is that I thought McLaren was pretty steady besides Siegel he looks almost worse I guess but ⁓ Dale Coyne was a really awesome story of I know a lot of us were trying to fade Grosjean and so that didn't really work but really cool for Hauger and Grosjean to start the season like that that much pace and qualifying and staying up there in the race pretty well. Another thing I found out, I mentioned this in our futures thing is that one reason it'll be really tough for Lungard to ever win the championship is because his best tracks are where Palau is even better. And I heard a stat that in Lungard's last nine podiums that Palau has still beat him in seven of those races or something like that, which is just kind of nuts. ⁓ and David Land talked about this on one of his videos, but he said people kind of need to stop trying to outpull ⁓ pull ⁓ where You know some of these drivers are you know they're trying to manage their tires and stay on these super long stints when they're not as good you know like Erickson kind of got caught on that on used tires and And I don't know that there's a way to beat him, no matter what you do, but ⁓ it's almost like people have kind of shifted to trying to beat him at what he's best at, which is probably not the best way to go about it. But yeah, that's all the notes I had there for a pretty fun St. Pete race. I enjoyed that one. @f1capper: Yeah, no, I think going back to that Ericsson one, which was the trickle effect to Armstrong missing that turn one the way he did and pulled him back like by four spots. I think it was, and that I think was the difference in that Grosjean versus Armstrong bet, which @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: I'm very disappointed in because ⁓ I did not come out positive in the bet on my bets because of that. I actually ended up down one point, whatever units, which is not bad. Okay. I'll take it. But it was disappointing because I think that was my bigger bet and I had like 2.6 units on it. I really had faith in it. I really believe if that didn't happen and he stayed in the position he was in, he would have been ahead of Grosjean, but that shouldn't take away. You never know. Yeah. @iN8Rodgers: He might have podium which killed my bet for that because he was up there. @f1capper: He was doing fine. He was doing fine. ⁓ But to go back to Dale, we're going to, we're going to get that coin back for sure. And just for the sake of all of it, I mean, we've made so much money on him over the years. It's fine. We'll take it. But Dale Coin did look superb. I was actually really shocked by that. And the tires were very interesting. I've been, yeah, because I even went in with the... Indy_Bet: I'm give it back to you. Don't worry. what? You can give it back. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. Indy_Bet: You will get it done. @f1capper: the mindset that the primaries are probably going to be what they're going to stick on, but it lasted forever. Now that brings up my, question that you kind of brought up is those alternates are probably going to last longer than we expect. And it makes me want to go back and actually look at the previous races, because I want to say that some of the previous races in 2025, we did witness that where we thought the alternates weren't going to last as long, but they did last a little bit longer. So I want to see if that trend continued. Cause then that will be a big deal. going moving forward. But fun race, obviously love St. Pete. It's it's great to have that start. Let's go ahead and get to Phoenix, though. ⁓ New track, new everything. I'm going to hand it to you, Nate. So go with your preview, man. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, like you said, it's their first time back there since 2018. I ⁓ think only five of the current drivers have raced there before. ⁓ New Garden and Dixon have collected wins there. Then you have Power, Rossi, and Rahal. Everyone else outside of the open test or maybe a potential tire test early in the offseason, they have not been there. ⁓ It's a one, just a straight one mile oval. Some drivers have compared it a little bit to Iowa in some parts. bit to Gateway but it's pretty unique from what I'm reading of as kind of this dog leg into I guess they switched the the finish line to the other side what used to be the back stretch is now the the front stretch or the finish line is asymmetrical turns so not a fully you know equal oval or shape there ⁓ and ⁓ you know so there's just not really a lot of track history or anything ⁓ There's no real tire, like alternate tires or anything for this race. ⁓ Chevy and Honda split 3-3 in ovals last year. Just to keep in mind, Chevys are generally going to have more of that power, more of that top speed, but Hondas are going to be generally better for the fuel mileage. And yeah, that's pretty much it for preview there. @f1capper: Yeah, I know it's going to be pretty light. I don't think there's much you can take away from 2018, obviously, though we did chat a little bit Nate last night and I wish I had more data. We're looking into that. We're going to try to see how we can get more data on Indy card. We'll see how that happens. But all we can work off of is the testing for three days that they had over there and they kind of combined it. There was different like ways you can look at it but just looking at the combined results. I know we chatted a little bit which we'll get into about grid rival and I would love to get your opinion on that IndieBit but that's it like it sounds like we should be backing Penske right? Maybe? ⁓ Indy_Bet: Yeah, the only thing I'd add is like, can, so there are, can take Comptracks, right? So yeah, we don't, I think that the data like, all right, great. There are a couple of guys that have been here back in whatever six years ago, but it's different car, different everything. ⁓ So like, I think we can look at Comptracks. Comptracks for me, number one, World Wide Tech. I think that's like the number one Comptrack. And then I would say there's a little bit of similarities in Iowa. and we know what Iowa means so we'll get to that a little bit later. ⁓ So Iowa World Wide Tech is actually same guy right so we'll talk about him in a second and then yeah I think we can look a little bit at the testing which ⁓ which tipped us off to some of the ECR guys. @f1capper: Yeah, no, ⁓ yeah, I mean, my mind is, is already been punished by Penske and I'm like, ⁓ shit, here we go again. Insert meme. So let's get to the lines. I think we actually let's get to the first bet because some, or maybe both of you already have bets. So Nate, I know you do. I just checked. So what do you have? @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, it's been it's been tough on the lines, which is kind of expected with the new track and the start of a season. I went with Maluchis 13.1. was Lucas last week and I jump on him again here. Quarter of a unit 13 to 1 and I was able to get Rasmussen at 22 to 1, which I know a lot of. I don't know about a lot of people, but some people got 40 to 1, which I would loved. I think Mike and I and probably you too. Capper just that we're kind of all in the same space of like. and Penske, know, I'd add O'Ward into that list and then ⁓ the ECR guys. So that's just kind of where I'm going to focus as the lines continue to come out. @f1capper: Yeah, and IndieBed, do you have already a play? Indy_Bet: No bets. of that's because, well there's a couple things. Part of that's because Hard Rock hasn't posted any lines yet. So that's disappointing. I've been refreshing for two days ever since Caesar's dropped numbers. But yeah, my eyes immediately were looking for the ECR guy numbers. They tested here really well. @f1capper: Nothing yet. Yeah, I'm looking. Indy_Bet: Rossi's won here before, all right, we just said that doesn't matter too much, but they also, did very, he was right up there and testing might be number one. And then Rasmussen's obviously showed us that he can do well in these ovals with a win last year. So I was looking for big numbers on those guys, the 40 to one. I know people got that. I think anything 20 or above is worth a half unit before calls. And then my other, my other guy I'm targeting the second, I see a good number. Anything five to one or north for Joseph ⁓ it'll be a bet pre-call bet for me But with almost a little bit different like last week we had bets made because we want closing line value and road and street courses you want to catch I'm a glocklin at eight to one and then he sits at pole and his number drops to two or three to one With the ovals. I don't care if any somebody starts you can win from fifth sixth seventh eighth ninth tenth ⁓ You know if you got a fast car, maybe you just didn't throw down a hard lap ⁓ So I'm more apt especially @f1capper: Yeah. Indy_Bet: especially on a track we haven't seen to watch the practices and really fire away maybe after quals. I don't think the numbers are even going to drop that much. So we'll talk about some of the Caesars lines. I think New Yard was at three and a half to one. That's probably not a bet for me. I think that's what Caesar has a Matt right. Caesar's has a Matt right now. @f1capper: Yep, they have it right now, plus 320 and then DK has it at three to one. Yeah. Indy_Bet: So like, mean, is it really going to get much worse if he lands it on pole? @f1capper: Probably probably a two to one. Yeah Indy_Bet: Right, so I'll wait and maybe actually hope that he qualifies fifth or sixth. That happened at Iowa a couple years back. You know, I knew I wanted to unload on him ⁓ and he... Ended up qualifying fifth or sixth, just had a little slip up in qual, somebody else dropped a big nut and ⁓ it upped his number to four or five to one, hammered that and he easily won the race. He lapped everybody. So I'll be waiting for Saturday, so keep an eye out, jump in the Apex Insider Discord, watch X and we'll see what we see in practice. @f1capper: Yeah, I mean, honestly, I could not going to do it. Scott McLaughlin at eight to one again. Don't I'm not going to get cute with that. I'm not going to get cute with the outrights. mean, I am tempted still at Malukis. He's still 10 to 11 to one. So would be nice if it was 13 to one. But I just don't see that getting better. I feel like he's just going to be like in that top six and you're going to see him drop down to like a seven to one. 6 to 1 or something like that 6 to 1 probably but you never know right like you take the risk you don't do it and he qualifies like p20 for some reason and you can probably get a number i just don't see it getting better um but let me ask you guys this what is your thoughts on andretti going into this weekend @iN8Rodgers: So Two years ago their short oval program was like really good. And so I was backing them to start the year I knew I'd get good numbers and then they took a huge step back and then I just don't know that will power and Rzuzki have had enough time there since Penske basically made them wait to start the new year to really make enough changes maybe later in the year they get better with power giving his input and Rzuzki knowing what he wants But right now, I mean you'll see my grid cards that I think I faded every and ready driver so I'm not about him here. Indy_Bet: Yup, I'm gonna get simple. And dready ovals fade. You can clip that. We can throw that online. Fade. Power, I saw Power a couple times in St. Pete. He looked like a sad little puppy walking around. It was... @f1capper: Yeah. Yeah. @iN8Rodgers: You @f1capper: It will. Indy_Bet: It was like, he, you know, he, and he, you know, he, he wanted to just bash the car every time he spoke, every time he gave an interview, but he was like, he couldn't even help himself. He was mincing words. He was like, you know, we got to get better. We got a break problem. It was never, you know, like it was, he just, you know, I thought maybe that power would bring, ⁓ some of his old will prowess, like, man, I don't know. I just don't, I gotta see it to believe it. ⁓ Kirkwood has won at World Wide Tech, but he only won because of some really luck box strategy and the fact that all three Penske's went out on contact. believe McLaughlin went out on mechanical and I wanna say Joseph and Power crashed into each other. Is that right? they cracked? I don't know, something, all three got retired after leading most of the race. So like, I don't even buy the Kirkwood win. So ⁓ no, I will not be betting on any Indretti cars. @f1capper: No, it's definitely not and I do want to reference the one guy that joined our discord like early February Has this inside this was his exact words? ⁓ I'll just say he said to a person he knows ⁓ Will is having a hard time adjusting But I guess maybe he will figure it out and this was on February 17th And then he followed up with messages. Yep. Will is not liking this car. He's not liking this car and then there you go He just said he was not having a great time. So more than anything, ⁓ that's actually, that was my strategy with fantasy. I put Kirkwood and Erickson for one race because I did not want them for this race. And now I'm just trying to see like, could they have something maybe up their sleeve? We just don't know about, but you guys confirmed probably not. So ⁓ let's see. Then I guess we don't really have any other lines. What is a midfield type of team that is not ECR that actually could overperform here, that you could see overperform? Or a driver, just pick one of the two. @iN8Rodgers: ⁓ I guess also I think it's I think it's gonna be hard for these smaller teams to have a strong setup as the bigger teams because The bigger teams got to send, plus ECR, got to send a driver to the first tire test off season. So they all had a head start. And then they had the open test with everyone, but that just allowed Penske and, you know, Ganassi and then ECR to dial that in even more. I just think they're going to be too strong. ⁓ I mean if you want some fun people to look for in the field, think Armstrong's really improving at ovals. He's not quite there yet, but his line's gonna be pretty good. And then VK moving over to a way better oval team who's a pretty good oval driver. I don't really see either of winning, but if you want like a really fun number, I think it's there to, you know. @f1capper: I'm big fan. I hope we get some top fives and tens because I would love to take on some arenas, you know, fives or tens. I don't know about top three, but it would be nice. ⁓ I didn't really actually bring up Hauger and his awesome performance. I thought I feel like I should have brought that up when we're talking about St. Pete's, but ⁓ he's definitely one that I feel like is going to struggle here, especially that it is a totally new kind of environment for him. And like you said, @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: like younger teams, younger drivers, they're gonna probably struggle so Mick. And then my boy Grosjean, can't wait, can't wait. me a matchup please. We're going back at it. So I will not even think twice. We're going back at it. Just hoping it's not like some Ray Hall versus Grosjean bed. ⁓ @iN8Rodgers: He's got a martingale strategy, the grojone, the grojone bets and let it come back. @f1capper: You know, I don't have like, it's not that I dislike him. I think he's, he's a fine person as a human being. But man, did I, I was just always annoyed with the way he drove in F1. I hated his style. I hated it. I just did not like it. I always thought he was just always, you know, pushed as this, you know, God for Haas at the time. And I was like, no. He's not and so it kind of carried on into any car. Love you, Grosjean. ⁓ But yeah, it's not going to happen this this week. OK, well, let's switch over. Since we don't have any lines, let's talk about grid rival because they did post some lines. I know we we even talked about some of them, but I know you posted the cards, which I was totally aligned with. So why don't you go for it, Nate? @iN8Rodgers: Yes, sorry in advance I played five cards here but essentially what I'm doing is I'm all for Penske. I'm looking at Renas and ECR and then I'm fading in Dreaddy, I'm fading Coin who's one of the worst oval teams and I'm fading rookies. So just to start off, mean this is a suit, you gotta do this card I think, but Lucas better, Willpower worse. mean that's just like, he took the guy's... @f1capper: ⁓ yeah, that was one I was in right away as soon as you post it was like, I'm in. Indy_Bet: What numbers did you get on those? @iN8Rodgers: Maluchis was 6.5 and Power was 8.5. So I mean, I just think, you know, when we talk about New Garden being that kind of gateway, that Iowa guy, Maluchis is that like... You Prince that hasn't quite, he's really good at both of those last year and, you know, prior years, but he just hasn't gotten that win yet. He really needs to have a clean race finally where he puts it all together. But, um, just a solid day from him there would be good. Um, I don't normally like to take people better with such low numbers, but I took New Garden better 3.5. I just trust them. Um. for some reason and faded Kirkwood at 5.5 which I love that that number is so low I might come back to that with something else and run it again. Next card Ericsson worse than 9.5 and Hauger worse than 16.5 just keeping up with you know I think Ericsson they probably moved him down from him having a good start to the year and that you know try to benefit off it. @f1capper: And I love that because I think he should be at like at best 10 and a half in that line. Yeah. Yeah. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, 10 to 12 something. Grosjean worse 17.5 VK better 14.5 that VK lines could be a little high with his first race with them, but you look at Daley's stats last year in the the Huncos cars even with the issues that they gave him, know once a racer His poor tire management at times. I mean he was still finishing above that line Last one I went with Schumacher worse than 20.5 again. I don't normally like to go worse that low that one's a little risky, but he could be in Silver's head here and I want to find out with this card. ⁓ and Rasmussen better than 8.5. I ⁓ like that better than Rossi's number which I forget what that was at. Maybe it might even be lower but. @f1capper: He's Fafo. ⁓ ⁓ let me get to it. I don't know if it changed, but Rossi I thought was at like... I don't see it. @iN8Rodgers: was kind of surprisingly low from what I remember. @f1capper: seven and a half. I'm pretty sure it at seven and a half when we last saw it. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, which, you know, I believe that Rossi have a good race, that's, I'll take the Ross at 8.5 there instead. @f1capper: For sure, for sure, yeah. Let's hear it. Indy_Bet: I for you. just placed... I it. I love this one. Love it. I might bet it again. Alright, so I got Colette worse than 19 and a half and paired with Hauger worse than 16 and a half. @f1capper: Alright. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah @f1capper: Okay? Okay, so I do, you know what's funny? was, I was thinking about Colette and I was like, he's a rookie. He doesn't know this track, right? Isn't 19 and a half, was it 19 and a half? Yeah, 19 and a half. A little too much. So I kinda like it. Indy_Bet: I feel even Hauger 16 and a half like that I would I would go ahead and pop that with several like that that seems like the lock ⁓ I like the new garden over Excuse me under three and half ⁓ But the the Hauger I mean, I don't I don't see him finishing better than been 17 @f1capper: And in coin racing, like how are they supposed to do here? I mean, typically they're not, they're supposed to kind of struggle at these ovals, so. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. ⁓ Indy_Bet: Yeah, he hasn't he hasn't raced ovals before like yeah, he was he was a stud when it came to Indian X and road and street courses, but they're they're not putting those cars maybe one oval year if that I don't even know if he I have no clue what his performance was on but doesn't matter. It's not the same thing. @f1capper: Mm-hmm. So you said, Howger, Collette, and who was the third one again? You mentioned, okay, gotcha. Indy_Bet: That was it. put those two together, but I do like Nate's Joseph one. I trust Joseph. ⁓ So I like that one. I like the Rasmussen over, but yeah, I'd be pairing up, however, the, on however worse than 16 and a half with, you know, choose your fancy. @f1capper: Yeah, I do too. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, and they're both like, when you look at the pit stop performance of those two, they're pretty low as far as, you know, their team could screw them up in the pits. They're inexperienced. If it's single lane racing and they get caught up in the marbles and get a little high, you know, even if they're having a decent race, they could ruin it in one corner. So, yeah, I they're... @f1capper: Yeah. Indy_Bet: mean, Helger got chewed up pretty quick in St. Pete. watched. Like it didn't, it didn't take long. There it is. @f1capper: There we go. It's in. It's in. just enough said enough said, which actually brings me to what we were talking about, Nate, because I was like so enamored by Kiffin Simpson for the testing for three days did almost I think the second most laps and still had the third worst time, which at fifteen and a half. I was like, are you kidding me? Like @iN8Rodgers: You @f1capper: I know he's in a Gnasty car, but what are we doing here? Like he was one of the worst. He couldn't even achieve a top speed close to 170, I think it was, or whatever that he could have gotten to. I kind of, in his odds too, there are a hundred to one right now on DK. He's like bottom three. So I felt like that was my favorite one, but I hesitate because If you start getting a lot of these DNFs, like some of these other guys like how girl, whoever, maybe he just defaults into that 15, 15 spot just because there's like eight cars that are out or something. So I'm a little nervous about that, but I did do that. I did, I think I paired him with reness just because I am a little biased to reness and you know, we talked about it and he looked really damn good last race and he has a car that could be, he could do well here. Indy_Bet: I like that. I noticed that it's funny. I noticed that exact same thing. It like 247, like that popped off on him and he was two miles an hour. So like, it was terrible. They couldn't find any speed. So yeah, that caught my eye. I just put him with Howard as another bet. I think that's, yeah. @f1capper: Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. It's bad. Yeah, like 15 and a half, you're giving me 15 and a half, like he qualifies in P20. He's gonna be at 17, 18, you know, so. Indy_Bet: I call, by the way, I do have a name for when a driver just doesn't really race and just goes around in circles and keeps his car clean. I call that the Graham Ray Hall. @f1capper: Hahaha Indy_Bet: It worked to perfection for me at St. Pete. My son owed me 20 pushups when he took some driver to beat Ray Hall. I'm like, Ray Hall is just going to stay out of trouble, do nothing. He'll come somewhere between 10 to 15, like right around the middle of the pack. He'll just do his thing. He'll get out of people's way. He won't cause any harm. And sure enough, I don't know nobody finished, but it was right there. It's a great Ray Hall. @f1capper: you @iN8Rodgers: Yeah. @f1capper: Yep. Well, look at this. I already got six damn cards because of you clowns. ⁓ @iN8Rodgers: You Well, like, you know, I went 2-0 in the first race, so now I just, you I feel like I'm invincible, I guess. @f1capper: I'm riding the highs right now because I did, I went six of eight and we were lucky by the way, we got to pay attention to that. So this is one thing I love with grid rival. I do this with F1 all the time. They did post matchups. I don't know, like I had like 10 minutes to do it and they posted those matchups. You got to take some of these guys that are like plus one and a half, plus two and a half against the other. So find that driver that might've qualified worse. @iN8Rodgers: There you go. @f1capper: than a driver that's like in a Dale coin, for instance, and you can maybe find that one and a half, two and a half. And I do this all the time with F1. It is a winning strategy. Try not to chalk to the negative one and a half spots that they have to beat by. If you find the plus one and a half, there's certain ones you want to stay away from, of course, but like we had Grosjean a plus two and a half to his teammate and they're within three spots, right? And look what happened. So. you know, that's the kind of strategy. So I'm looking forward to matchups again. I am praying we get those because those seem to be, I just love matchup bets, bets and grid rivals. So love it. Yeah, I know we don't have a whole lot to talk about. I will put a little bit of my fantasy, like projection or not projection, but like my, what I'm gonna go after for this week. We had a pretty good fantasy week. We were in the top six. We have like 170 people in our fantasy league right now, so it's pretty competitive. ⁓ Any last thoughts before we close out or what you are looking forward this weekend in terms of a bet? Indy_Bet: Keep an eye on the Discord on Apex Insiders, keep an eye on X and ⁓ Yeah, so it's going to be ⁓ ovals is a different strategy than and so it's a lot more post qualification betting. So ⁓ though we did just make a bunch of bets right there. We started off with none. I guarantee you I'll have a full card come Saturday. I'm excited to not be sweating my butt off outside and just be hanging out by the pool watching the race this weekend. So yeah, keep in tune. @f1capper: Lucky you. Lucky you. Yeah. @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, mean, for me, I'll probably just be keeping it simple. I'm excited to see Indy cars at a new track that it's been a while at least. I'll probably going to find new garden in some way and then I'll be thinking I'm going pretty light until like last week, Sunday comes up and all these different options come up and I can't help myself. So it'll probably get heavy. Indy_Bet: We never mentioned hello on this entire pod, their entire video. Just saying. I mean, I was waiting for Nate to tell me to fade the two and a half on gear viral. I want to. I don't know if I can. I'm just gonna like, if he's like P1 and if he's P1 in practice and then qualifies top three or four, I'm like. @f1capper: I know. ⁓ @iN8Rodgers: Yeah, I can't... I'm not as... I did last year sometimes, but... @f1capper: I can't, don't do it. F- Indy_Bet: You know, my card might be a lot different. It might be top three, so I don't reap that. @f1capper: I mean, I can't take his odds now, of course, two to one. What good is it? Even if he qualifies, but I would tell you this, the best way to attack it this weekend is going to be through Cal-She, live odds, because you know there's going to be a point in time you're going to see one of those penskies, maybe two leading for however many laps. And then the odds are going to start shifting towards the penskies. They're going to win. But you know, Palo's probably got something up his sleeve. I don't want to mention it because I'm still skeptical about him. I don't know why I shouldn't be at ovals. But man, like I, there's no way I will fade him ever in a matchup. I will only back him, but I just can't take those odds right now. And then we'll be talking about this next week and about how dumb I was for not taking two to one because he probably will win. @iN8Rodgers: You Yeah, I I just want to act like right now that there's other options and then, you know, later in the year these episodes are going to be 30 seconds long and we'll just say, below and turn it off, so... Yeah. Yeah. @f1capper: Yeah, that's it race preview bet pillow. We'll see you tomorrow Exactly. All right guys. Well, this is fun. I'm looking forward to this race. And yeah, I hope that we all cash this weekend @iN8Rodgers: Let's do it. @f1capper: ⁓
