- 0:53Speaker 4: And it's a twenty two on five eight WCCHS the
- 0:55Speaker 4: Voice of Charleston. Jeff Jenkins with you and Tom Payton
- 0:58Speaker 4: are the Peyton Law Firm in Iro. It's a Thursday morning,
- 1:01Speaker 4: and it's just a couple of days before the football
- 1:04Speaker 4: season opens up.
- 1:06Speaker 6: And the fever, yeah, on the fever, and they always
- 1:08Speaker 6: get at least I get that fever. You know, as
- 1:10Speaker 6: you get close to the sneaks up on you. Sometimes
- 1:13Speaker 6: when you get busy over the summertime. But uh, you know,
- 1:16Speaker 6: just being raised as a son of a faithful season
- 1:21Speaker 6: ticket holder and even went to a lot of away games.
- 1:23Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure that I was only twelve at the time,
- 1:25Speaker 6: maybe eleven during the eighty eight season with Major Harris
- 1:29Speaker 6: and Reggie Rembert and all those guys, and I think
- 1:32Speaker 6: we went to every game, like even away games that year.
- 1:35Speaker 7: Uh, and we went to the.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Festival all the way as I watch him play Notre
- 1:39Speaker 6: Dame that year, which is why I have a an
- 1:42Speaker 6: innate uh the Spies for Notre Dame fans because I
- 1:46Speaker 6: still remember how high handed they were. And then of
- 1:48Speaker 6: course Major Harris I think got an injury that game.
- 1:50Speaker 6: It just didn't go well for us. We lost by
- 1:53Speaker 6: double digits, but played pretty competitive for what we had.
- 1:56Speaker 7: But yeah, and leading into that, so we're going up point.
- 2:00Speaker 6: We're not going to go until Saturday, but we had
- 2:03Speaker 6: to Morgantown for a big game versus Penn State this Saturday,
- 2:07Speaker 6: the last big big opening game I think that I
- 2:10Speaker 6: recall it in Morgantown where we played it in Morgantown
- 2:13Speaker 6: was the ohighest state game in ninety eight and I
- 2:15Speaker 6: remember that because that was my very first semester of
- 2:18Speaker 6: law school that year, and Mary was pregnant with Grace,
- 2:22Speaker 6: and so we I don't know if she even went
- 2:24Speaker 6: to the game. We walked over and then it was disappointing.
- 2:27Speaker 6: You know, played okay, but nowhere near good enough to win.
- 2:31Speaker 6: It was just a big letdown. So hopefully there's a
- 2:34Speaker 6: lot of optimism coming into the game Saturday, So hopefully
- 2:37Speaker 6: the Mountaineers will put in a good performance. It's going
- 2:39Speaker 6: to be a really crazy atmosphere. It sounds like I
- 2:42Speaker 6: saw this on Metro. It is this morning where they
- 2:44Speaker 6: have closed public schools in Mond County Tomorrow to Patt
- 2:48Speaker 6: McAfee show is going to be there and some other
- 2:50Speaker 6: kind of like Fox noon kickoff show is going to
- 2:53Speaker 6: be there.
- 2:54Speaker 7: I don't know if that's Saturday. I know mcas tomorrow.
- 2:56Speaker 4: I think that the Fox Show's got something planned at
- 2:59Speaker 4: the Mountain Layer tomorrow too.
- 3:01Speaker 6: So yeah, so you're going to be busy and uh
- 3:03Speaker 6: with a noon start, just a lot of people will
- 3:06Speaker 6: be getting there tomorrow.
- 3:07Speaker 4: And let me ask you this toim is you know
- 3:10Speaker 4: campus carry is now legal in West Virginia and and
- 3:14Speaker 4: so WVU and Marshall both have instituted rules and all
- 3:19Speaker 4: the colleges and universities rules and regulations about where and
- 3:21Speaker 4: where you can't have there. So there are certain exempt
- 3:24Speaker 4: places or certain places you can't take one in the state,
- 3:26Speaker 4: can't take one.
- 3:27Speaker 7: In the statia, and actually ever have.
- 3:28Speaker 6: Metal detectors just here at both WVU and Marshall, So
- 3:31Speaker 6: be prepared for a little bit longer line. I don't
- 3:35Speaker 6: I haven't seen what items you are prohibited from bringing in.
- 3:38Speaker 6: I mean, if you carry, you know, a pocket knife
- 3:40Speaker 6: or something like that, you might want to leave it
- 3:42Speaker 6: in the car just so you don't have to walk
- 3:44Speaker 6: all the way back. And I know they still have
- 3:46Speaker 6: the clear bag policy.
- 3:47Speaker 4: I think WVU saying they don't think it'll be much.
- 3:50Speaker 4: They're different, I mean they're you know, the way they're
- 3:54Speaker 4: doing the metal detectors. They don't think it'll be a slowdown.
- 3:57Speaker 4: I guess it remains to be seen though, because you
- 3:59Speaker 4: really can't simulate well, I think it will.
- 4:02Speaker 6: Be a slowdown because I don't know how it practically
- 4:04Speaker 6: couldn't be mean because when you go I go to
- 4:08Speaker 6: Marshall end w games and generally they kind of do
- 4:12Speaker 6: a one over visual as long as you have the
- 4:14Speaker 6: right sized little bag with you or a clear bag,
- 4:17Speaker 6: then you go right through. Now, I mean they're not
- 4:20Speaker 6: patting people down ordinarily and things like that. You know,
- 4:23Speaker 6: some alcohol is probably brought in and stuff. But you
- 4:26Speaker 6: go through a metal detector, I mean what I mean.
- 4:28Speaker 6: I go through metal detectors to get in courthouses all
- 4:30Speaker 6: the time, and some of them are quite sensitive.
- 4:33Speaker 7: You know, you go through and everything's out of your.
- 4:35Speaker 6: Pockets, but your belt goes off or something else, your
- 4:38Speaker 6: watch or whatever. I mean, I don't now depends on
- 4:42Speaker 6: what type metal detectors they have. I mean, I guess
- 4:43Speaker 6: if they have the really good ones that they have
- 4:45Speaker 6: at like the airports, I think they can see some
- 4:49Speaker 6: density and things that will allow them to differentiate. You know,
- 4:52Speaker 6: this isn't anything or this could be a weapon, for example,
- 4:55Speaker 6: I kind of doubt that would be really expensive to
- 4:58Speaker 6: equip every gate with something like that. So if it's
- 5:02Speaker 6: kind of the run a mill, run of the mill
- 5:04Speaker 6: metal detectors like they have at the courthouses, I mean,
- 5:06Speaker 6: they they go off sometimes when they shouldn't. They they
- 5:10Speaker 6: don't go off sometimes and when they should, I know,
- 5:13Speaker 6: but every time one goes off. I mean, are you
- 5:15Speaker 6: gonna have to wand so at the courthouse then they
- 5:17Speaker 6: have a wand right, so when you when you walk
- 5:19Speaker 6: through the metal detector if it goes off, which goes
- 5:23Speaker 6: off pretty much every time on me because I'm usually
- 5:25Speaker 6: I'm wearing a suit and I have a belt and
- 5:27Speaker 6: et cetera. So then you got to put your arms
- 5:30Speaker 6: out and they got to do the wand over top
- 5:33Speaker 6: of you and that kind of thing, and make sure,
- 5:35Speaker 6: you know, if it goes off, make sure it is
- 5:38Speaker 6: just the belt, you know, lift your shirt up or whatever.
- 5:40Speaker 6: So I mean, with sixty thousand plus people, I don't
- 5:44Speaker 6: know how it couldn't be. I'll be real surprised if
- 5:48Speaker 6: it isn't a slower entry. So I would, I would
- 5:52Speaker 6: just and I know what Marshall, I read. They're going
- 5:54Speaker 6: to open the gates little earlier than they normally would, right,
- 5:56Speaker 6: and they're and they're gonna trying. They're not allowing re
- 5:59Speaker 6: entry at Mark so this year either, which I like.
- 6:02Speaker 6: So you can't go out and come back in. Obviously
- 6:03Speaker 6: if you have an extra ticket you can come back in.
- 6:05Speaker 6: It's like a new new entry. So that'll be interesting
- 6:08Speaker 6: to see how that plays out, but I I would
- 6:12Speaker 6: recommend you know, double, give yourself double extra time to
- 6:16Speaker 6: get through the gate, especially for the Penn State game
- 6:18Speaker 6: at a noon start, because noon starts, from my experience,
- 6:22Speaker 6: to get really busy because a lot like we're leaving early.
- 6:26Speaker 7: Saturday morning to drive up.
- 6:27Speaker 6: I know a lot of people will get there the
- 6:28Speaker 6: night before, but as opposed to a three point thirty
- 6:31Speaker 6: or a seven o'clock or a six o'clock game, where
- 6:33Speaker 6: you get people spread out arriving, I mean everybody decides
- 6:36Speaker 6: to go the day of the game is pretty much
- 6:38Speaker 6: going at the same time.
- 6:39Speaker 4: And also watch out because and I don't know if
- 6:42Speaker 4: you've been to Morgan Town. Now I'm going to tell
- 6:43Speaker 4: you more about the Metal de textas here. I got
- 6:45Speaker 4: a note from WV or story. We're going to run
- 6:47Speaker 4: sure actee tomorrow. But if you're going, if you haven't
- 6:49Speaker 4: been up seventy nine since last season or I mean
- 6:53Speaker 4: there's been a slow up as you approach the Lost
- 6:56Speaker 4: Creek exit. I think that's one ten and maybe uh,
- 7:01Speaker 4: but there's been a slow up there because of bridge work.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Well now it's back. It's back toward Jane Lou. They're
- 7:07Speaker 4: doing some other work.
- 7:08Speaker 6: Yeah, well I do quick like one bar meeting a
- 7:12Speaker 6: few weeks ago. I was you know, it wasn't a
- 7:15Speaker 6: there's midday Friday drive. But yeah, there was one or
- 7:17Speaker 6: two bridges where it's in there. It's only closed for
- 7:20Speaker 6: the bridge. But the problem is going to be at
- 7:22Speaker 6: the bottom.
- 7:22Speaker 7: Of the back.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I's going to back up to Jane lou up at right.
- 7:24Speaker 4: All right, So let me read this thing from WVU
- 7:27Speaker 4: and Tom Payton's with us Peyton Law Firm in Nitro
- 7:29Speaker 4: three or four three four five sixty eight sixty eight
- 7:32Speaker 4: or fifty eight fifty eight and they call these if
- 7:34Speaker 4: anybody wants to know, the device is the metal detectors
- 7:37Speaker 4: will use at mylen Pushcar Stadium CEI open gate. Okay,
- 7:41Speaker 4: that's what it's called. Uh And they say we have
- 7:45Speaker 4: walked through metal metal detectors. They're not intimidating. They're used
- 7:50Speaker 4: as sports venues across the country. They'll be new for
- 7:53Speaker 4: our fans. So fans will walk through the two pylones
- 7:56Speaker 4: or posts while security monitors the entry process. When an
- 8:00Speaker 4: alarm is triggered, that fan will be searched further. You
- 8:04Speaker 4: walk through the gate and unless that metal detector sounds
- 8:06Speaker 4: an alarm and light goes off, you will just continue
- 8:08Speaker 4: to proceed. If the alarm and light goes off, that
- 8:10Speaker 4: individual will be pulled off to the side. They'll go
- 8:12Speaker 4: through a wanding exercise. It says the state of the
- 8:16Speaker 4: art system enables people to keep everything in their pockets
- 8:18Speaker 4: and pass through the entry point in an uninterrupted fashion.
- 8:22Speaker 7: Yeah, and maybe those are you know, actually a lot
- 8:26Speaker 7: of it.
- 8:26Speaker 6: A lot of the metal detectors at the courthouses are
- 8:29Speaker 6: probably quite older or a good bit older. So these
- 8:32Speaker 6: may be the ones where they can, you know, tell
- 8:35Speaker 6: what type of signal comes off the the detector, whether
- 8:39Speaker 6: it's something dense enough or large enough that it could
- 8:41Speaker 6: even be a weapon, like your keys might not set
- 8:42Speaker 6: it up sounds like your belt buckle, right, or might
- 8:46Speaker 6: emit a signal but not set off the alarm where
- 8:48Speaker 6: you've got to be wanded. But I still think it's
- 8:50Speaker 6: going to take longer than it. Yeah, then it has
- 8:52Speaker 6: in the past. And uh, maybe don't find people, you know,
- 8:55Speaker 6: bringing firearms in and things like that.
- 8:57Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Yeah, so yep, so those will be those will be
- 8:59Speaker 4: an operation. And that has to do with the new
- 9:02Speaker 4: the new campus carry law. It's a thirty one. This
- 9:04Speaker 4: is five eight WCCHS The Force of Charleston. Tom's with

- 12:37Speaker 6: back to things that are a little more fun to
- 12:39Speaker 6: talk about. So we do have and this this follows
- 12:42Speaker 6: up on the mountaineer discussion earlier. We do have a
- 12:45Speaker 6: giveaway today. So yeah, trivia giveaway. So when del trivia down,

- 13:02Speaker 4: You need to take a call first from Joy. Okay, Joy,
- 13:05Speaker 4: you're on the line with a question for Tom Peyton.
- 13:07Speaker 9: Go ahead, Joy, good morning, Thank you, Thank you for
- 13:11Speaker 9: taking my call. Hi Tom, good morning, Good morning. My
- 13:15Speaker 9: brother and I just recently discovered is that we overlooked
- 13:19Speaker 9: doing something like fourteen years or so ago when my
- 13:24Speaker 9: mother passed away, that we have there's a small piece
- 13:30Speaker 9: of property like an acre and a half, but it's
- 13:33Speaker 9: something we do want to keep in the family, and
- 13:36Speaker 9: we did. I understand now that we should have gotten
- 13:40Speaker 9: a deed for that in our name at the time
- 13:44Speaker 9: of her passing. And it seems the one person I've
- 13:49Speaker 9: talked with so far, it seems like it's a big
- 13:53Speaker 9: deal to try to get it. Now, any any hints closer.
- 13:57Speaker 6: Well, if we'll talk to somebody I had discussion about
- 13:59Speaker 6: this other day, people say, well, I talk to the
- 14:01Speaker 6: courthouse or talk to the tax department. Of course, there's
- 14:03Speaker 6: only humans that work there, and so they usually aren't
- 14:05Speaker 6: orders either, and so they do their best to provide information,
- 14:08Speaker 6: but it's not always accurate. So, but did you and
- 14:13Speaker 6: your brother inherited via a will or yeah?
- 14:18Speaker 9: I'll tell you what we have. I have my grandparents
- 14:23Speaker 9: where my grand the deed where my grandparents deeded it
- 14:27Speaker 9: to my father, and then I have my father's will
- 14:31Speaker 9: where he needed I mean, he gave turned everything over
- 14:35Speaker 9: to my mother. And then when my mother died, we
- 14:38Speaker 9: have her will where she willed everything to my brother
- 14:42Speaker 9: and me.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Okay, now let me ask a couple of questions, and
- 14:44Speaker 6: did was that well probated? Was it admitted to probate?
- 14:47Speaker 6: And you went through the approbate process.
- 14:49Speaker 9: Now I don't understand.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Okay, when your mother passed away, did you or your
- 14:54Speaker 6: brother take the original will to the court house?
- 14:57Speaker 7: I mean assume she was a West Virginia resident when
- 14:59Speaker 7: she paid? Asked? Is that?
- 15:00Speaker 5: Yes?
- 15:01Speaker 7: Okay?
- 15:01Speaker 9: Yes I was. I was a West Virginia resident. My
- 15:05Speaker 9: brother is not.
- 15:06Speaker 7: So your mother was when she passed my mother?
- 15:09Speaker 9: Yeah, my mother was. This was in Montaguery County. O.
- 15:12Speaker 7: Sure, But.
- 15:14Speaker 9: Yes, I took the deed to the courthouse and everything.
- 15:18Speaker 9: The will.
- 15:19Speaker 7: You took the will to the courthouse.
- 15:20Speaker 9: I'm sorry, the will?
- 15:22Speaker 6: Okay, all right, So let's follow up on that real
- 15:24Speaker 6: quick then. So you you sounds like you went through
- 15:27Speaker 6: the probate process. That's where you take the original will,
- 15:30Speaker 6: and maybe you were appointed as executor by that will. Yeah,
- 15:34Speaker 6: you were sworn in and you would have filled out
- 15:36Speaker 6: what's called an inventory or appraisement of the estate. Not
- 15:39Speaker 6: an appraisal, word's valued, but an appraisement of the estate
- 15:42Speaker 6: where hopefully you listed this property on that form as
- 15:46Speaker 6: something that your mother owned when she passed away.
- 15:49Speaker 9: Yes see, I paid to have it appraise what's the word.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Okay, Well, I was saying an appraise month. That's just
- 15:56Speaker 6: an inventory where you list things that she owned. As
- 15:59Speaker 6: long as let's let's seen it was listed on that form.
- 16:01Speaker 6: Was that a state handled in Mind County or was
- 16:04Speaker 6: it handled in another county? Usually it's the county where
- 16:06Speaker 6: she would have lived when she passed away.
- 16:09Speaker 9: It was handled in Mindcounty.
- 16:10Speaker 7: Okay, good.
- 16:11Speaker 6: So as long as that property was listed on that
- 16:16Speaker 6: inventory form, which you can get online. I don't do
- 16:19Speaker 6: a lot of work as far as title work in
- 16:20Speaker 6: Mond County. Almost every county but Canaw is available online
- 16:25Speaker 6: and so you can probably go or even call up
- 16:28Speaker 6: there and the clerk will look that up and make
- 16:30Speaker 6: sure that that inventory form, which is recorded the same
- 16:32Speaker 6: place deeds are recorded. The will is recorded the same
- 16:35Speaker 6: place deeds are recorded. If that property is listed on
- 16:38Speaker 6: that inventory form, then that property passed to you and
- 16:41Speaker 6: your brother by virtue of the will. You can kind
- 16:44Speaker 6: of think of it like the will serves the same
- 16:46Speaker 6: purpose as a deed, So you don't have the need
- 16:50Speaker 6: to do anything. You're perfectly fine. Now, what you may
- 16:52Speaker 6: have maybe seeing is a tax ticket that didn't get
- 16:55Speaker 6: changed over, so that it may still be in your
- 16:58Speaker 6: mother and or your father's name, but that doesn't require
- 17:01Speaker 6: you to have a quote deed in your name and
- 17:04Speaker 6: your brother's name. You just need to go to the
- 17:06Speaker 6: assessor or maybe the sheriff's tax department and tell them, hey,
- 17:10Speaker 6: my brother and I inherited this by the will. The
- 17:12Speaker 6: wills across the hallway over there, so it's the inventory
- 17:15Speaker 6: or the appraisement if you want to look at it,
- 17:17Speaker 6: that's it. Then they can change the name on the
- 17:21Speaker 6: tax ticket, which doesn't determine ownership almost ever. So, actually, Jul,
- 17:27Speaker 6: you don't need to do anything. So if you and
- 17:29Speaker 6: your brother are fifty percent owners now, it's not with survivorship.
- 17:32Speaker 6: So if you wanted to do that, you and your
- 17:35Speaker 6: brother could do some deed work. So if one of
- 17:36Speaker 6: you passes away, it automatically goes to the other if
- 17:39Speaker 6: you leave it status quo, if either one of you
- 17:42Speaker 6: passed away, it's going to go in accordance with either
- 17:44Speaker 6: of your wills. Your half interests would go in accordance
- 17:46Speaker 6: with your will, same way with your brother. So you're
- 17:49Speaker 6: actually don't need to take any action unless you want
- 17:53Speaker 6: to modify the way in which it is owned by
- 17:56Speaker 6: you and your brother.
- 17:58Speaker 9: Well you I think I understand most of what you said,
- 18:03Speaker 9: and I appreciate the explanation because it does help clear
- 18:06Speaker 9: up various things that my brother was told and then
- 18:11Speaker 9: he passed on to me. Our primary concern are really
- 18:14Speaker 9: our only concern right now is he and I of
- 18:17Speaker 9: course are not getting any younger, and we simply wanted
- 18:21Speaker 9: to be in good shape for our kids when he
- 18:24Speaker 9: and I passed on. And so it sounds as if
- 18:28Speaker 9: as long as he and I have our wills made
- 18:31Speaker 9: out passing everything on to our kids, which we do,
- 18:35Speaker 9: then we should be.
- 18:36Speaker 7: Okay, well, it'll pass your half, we'll pass.
- 18:39Speaker 6: You are an undivided fifty percent interest in the whole thing,
- 18:42Speaker 6: fifty percent interest in the whole thing, and so when
- 18:44Speaker 6: you pass that fifty percent interest will be listed in
- 18:48Speaker 6: your appraisement of the estate or inventory like we talked about,
- 18:51Speaker 6: and then it will go in accordance with your will.
- 18:53Speaker 6: And then as if your children, whoever your errors are,
- 18:56Speaker 6: want to remain keep it status quo, don't need to
- 18:59Speaker 6: do it either. Now, if you want to change the
- 19:01Speaker 6: way it's titled, then you need to do some deed work, meaning,
- 19:04Speaker 6: you know, if you wanted to put somebody else's name
- 19:06Speaker 6: on it, or if you ever conveyed it to someone else,
- 19:08Speaker 6: sold it or whatever, then that's when a new deed
- 19:10Speaker 6: would be drafted. But otherwise, other than perhaps making some
- 19:14Speaker 6: calls to get the tax ticket updated, if that's something
- 19:17Speaker 6: that needs to be done, you don't need to take
- 19:19Speaker 6: any action.
- 19:21Speaker 9: Well, when you say tax ticket, am I right in
- 19:23Speaker 9: thinking that, you mean when we get the annual propertatement
- 19:29Speaker 9: for the taxes? Yeah, and we have. That started out
- 19:33Speaker 9: being in my name, and we had it put in
- 19:35Speaker 9: my name and as of right now, my brother in
- 19:39Speaker 9: South Carolina is the one taking care of that. But
- 19:44Speaker 9: he ran into some complications with his lawyer in South
- 19:48Speaker 9: Carolina when he thought he was going to be able
- 19:51Speaker 9: to get a deed, and I can see now part
- 19:55Speaker 9: of the problem I think is he was in South Carolina.
- 19:59Speaker 7: Ra laws are inherence. Laws also are a different state
- 20:03Speaker 7: to state.
- 20:03Speaker 6: There's some examples where you need to have a deed
- 20:06Speaker 6: done in addition to a will, but normally that's when
- 20:08Speaker 6: you have some ambiguity in the will, like if it
- 20:11Speaker 6: tried to give two acres on the west side to
- 20:14Speaker 6: this person and two acres on the east side of
- 20:16Speaker 6: this person without proper legal descriptions. Then you want to
- 20:18Speaker 6: get everybody to go and do what it's called a
- 20:20Speaker 6: confirmatory deed. That really makes it more specific. So you've
- 20:23Speaker 6: got a good title going forward, but based on your situation,
- 20:26Speaker 6: you certainly don't need to have.
- 20:28Speaker 7: A deed done.
- 20:29Speaker 6: And what I hear a lot is like maybe somebody
- 20:30Speaker 6: in the tax department or the sheriff's department says, all
- 20:32Speaker 6: you have to have a deed to get that tax
- 20:34Speaker 6: ticket in your name, which is absolutely not true under
- 20:37Speaker 6: this particular circumstance.
- 20:38Speaker 7: So you don't, you know, you'd.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Be eating it. You and your brother would just be
- 20:41Speaker 6: eating it to yourself. I mean, you already own it,
- 20:43Speaker 6: so it wouldn't.
- 20:44Speaker 9: Okay exactly, or at least that's that's the way it
- 20:49Speaker 9: felt like inside my head. But I wasn't sure what
- 20:52Speaker 9: was needed legally. I really really appreciated you've explained it
- 20:56Speaker 9: in such a way that finally it makes sense to me,
- 20:59Speaker 9: and I think, I hope I'll be able to explain
- 21:02Speaker 9: it to my brother.
- 21:03Speaker 6: And yeah, and if you can or he has trouble
- 21:05Speaker 6: understanding it, just haven't popped me an email. I mean,
- 21:08Speaker 6: this is the type of question we answer all the time.
- 21:10Speaker 6: I've answered you a thousand times and try and talk
- 21:14Speaker 6: about this particular issue on the radio from time to
- 21:16Speaker 6: time just as a public service announcement. But you know,
- 21:19Speaker 6: it's just one of those things that you don't think
- 21:21Speaker 6: about then when you have a parent pass away, and
- 21:23Speaker 6: unfortunately that's one of the things you got to deal with.
- 21:25Speaker 7: And so then everybody starts paying attention and know you're
- 21:29Speaker 7: you're all set, So I'm glad we could help you out.
- 21:31Speaker 4: Joy, Thanks like joy very much. All right, thanks, yeah,
- 21:35Speaker 4: I mean that's yeah, that it played out on the radio,
- 21:37Speaker 4: But that's that's conversations that you have.
- 21:40Speaker 6: That's right, that's right, that's a day. I mean, that's
- 21:41Speaker 6: a very very common question we have. And like if
- 21:45Speaker 6: you pop an email to me and ask about that,
- 21:48Speaker 6: you know, maybe it's not detailed enough. I'm out to
- 21:49Speaker 6: fallo up a little bit with another email, but I
- 21:51Speaker 6: can get it responded to, you know, at night or
- 21:54Speaker 6: early in the morning before we start getting into courtroom
- 21:57Speaker 6: work and things like that.
- 21:58Speaker 4: That's kind of cool though, But because it sounds like
- 22:01Speaker 4: that her mother and her fam I mean, they had
- 22:04Speaker 4: their wills in good shape and so you know, it
- 22:06Speaker 4: just she doesn't have to worry about it and it
- 22:08Speaker 4: goes right to her.
- 22:09Speaker 6: That's right, And it's probably one of these here a lot,
- 22:11Speaker 6: you know, we want to keep it in the family
- 22:13Speaker 6: and things like that. So it didn't sound like they
- 22:14Speaker 6: have any interest in selling it or marketing it, and
- 22:16Speaker 6: so it's important that they get their wills done properly
- 22:19Speaker 6: because it might you know, if you have a lot
- 22:22Speaker 6: of blended families these days with divorce and remarriage and
- 22:24Speaker 6: things that happened. So you know, if you don't have
- 22:26Speaker 6: a will, it doesn't mean everything's going to go to
- 22:29Speaker 6: your kids necessarily. It could be divided between your current
- 22:32Speaker 6: spouse and your children, right, and so you know, you know,
- 22:35Speaker 6: that's why it's important to get wills done in particular
- 22:38Speaker 6: in those situations to make sure you get the property
- 22:41Speaker 6: to the folks that you want when you pass away.
- 22:43Speaker 4: And I know you've said this before, but I do
- 22:44Speaker 4: think it's it's good to remind folks that you guys
- 22:48Speaker 4: obviously do the will process and it's a couple of meetings.
- 22:51Speaker 6: R Usually it's one meeting initial consultation, usually, depending on
- 22:55Speaker 6: how complex it is, half hour and half hour, an hour,
- 22:59Speaker 6: and you come back one other time where we have
- 23:02Speaker 6: all the documents ready and we review them and you know,
- 23:05Speaker 6: get them done. That's about a forty five minute to
- 23:07Speaker 6: an hour appointment as well, so you're gonna spend a
- 23:08Speaker 6: couple of hours with us. Uh usually the first appointment.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Then we about a month out we can set the
- 23:15Speaker 6: second appointment. So you got about a thirty day turn
- 23:17Speaker 6: around time on average to get basic of state planning
- 23:20Speaker 6: documents done. Of course we talk about power attorneys and
- 23:23Speaker 6: then some other things with the state planning, so you know,
- 23:26Speaker 6: going forward, you know, watch out for this or that,
- 23:29Speaker 6: and you get more than just a form like you
- 23:31Speaker 6: do on legal zoom or trying to hand do your
- 23:33Speaker 6: own will or whatever. So you know, we give we
- 23:36Speaker 6: give information that's meaningful and in context.
- 23:39Speaker 7: Good.
- 23:39Speaker 4: Yeah, three oh four three four five fifty eight fifty
- 23:42Speaker 4: eight Tom Payton like joy, you can call three oh
- 23:44Speaker 4: four three four five fifty eight fifty it's eight forty six.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Or we got to giveaway Hereah, we gotta give away.
- 23:49Speaker 7: So here's what we got.
- 23:51Speaker 6: Unfortunately, I put a little teaser on Facebook. It's not
- 23:54Speaker 6: for the Penn State game.
- 23:55Speaker 7: Unfortunate way.
- 23:56Speaker 6: So but we have you know, our four season tickets.
- 23:59Speaker 6: It's two sixteen row five, which is upper level. But
- 24:02Speaker 6: it's a good place to watch the game.
- 24:04Speaker 4: It is.
- 24:05Speaker 6: It's not you can't. It's not great necessarily if you
- 24:07Speaker 6: want to be like, hey, look all close, I got
- 24:08Speaker 6: to the players. But if you want to actually watch
- 24:10Speaker 6: the game, it's a great spot. And Dad's had these
- 24:12Speaker 6: second season tickets for I don't know how many decades,
- 24:15Speaker 6: so and we don't. We could move closer if we won,
- 24:17Speaker 6: or somewhere else, but we like where we are, so
- 24:20Speaker 6: we just creatures of habit, I guess. But we also
- 24:22Speaker 6: have a blue lot pass. So what we're giving away
- 24:24Speaker 6: today is for next weekend's game. It's a six o'clock
- 24:27Speaker 6: start versus Albany.
- 24:29Speaker 7: I think.
- 24:30Speaker 6: I think Marshall played Albany last year like opening game,
- 24:32Speaker 6: almost lost to them. So you know, I don't know.
- 24:35Speaker 6: Hopefully it won't be a good game, honestly, but you
- 24:37Speaker 6: never know, especially after playing Penn State the first week
- 24:40Speaker 6: and we got Pit. It's it's the game in between
- 24:43Speaker 6: Penn State and PIT.
- 24:44Speaker 4: So you're not gonna go trap game on me, are you?
- 24:47Speaker 5: No?
- 24:47Speaker 6: Not with Albany, but I it might be one of
- 24:50Speaker 6: those where you get to halftime and think why aren't
- 24:52Speaker 6: we winning by more? But hopefully by end of the
- 24:54Speaker 6: game it will have our backups in there and stuff.
- 24:57Speaker 6: But we also have a blue lot pass, so it's
- 25:00Speaker 6: got value. All would ask is if if you win
- 25:01Speaker 6: the tickets, I really hope you or a family member
- 25:04Speaker 6: uses them, you don't go and pow them on the
- 25:05Speaker 6: internet and try and sell them. We could do that
- 25:07Speaker 6: if we wanted to, but here's the trivia question. It's
- 25:09Speaker 6: always hard with Google these days and things. So, uh,
- 25:13Speaker 6: you know, we do a lot of work in Putnam County.
- 25:14Speaker 6: That's where our office is. We're just on the Putnam
- 25:16Speaker 6: County side of Nitro. I'm the president of the Putnam
- 25:19Speaker 6: County Bar Association and do all the work down there.
- 25:22Speaker 6: So we deal with the circuit judges. So here's the question.
- 25:25Speaker 6: So between year two thousand and present, you can just
- 25:29Speaker 6: give the last names name the five circuit judges that
- 25:31Speaker 6: have served in Putnham County that were either elected or
- 25:34Speaker 6: appointed officially by the governor. How about that? Okay, the
- 25:38Speaker 6: five circuit judges, there are two. There are two divisions,
- 25:41Speaker 6: so you know there's.
- 25:42Speaker 4: A total time five total five yea, not all.
- 25:45Speaker 6: At the same time. Obviously we only have two judges
- 25:47Speaker 6: serving at one time. So between the year of two
- 25:50Speaker 6: thousand and now, name the five and.
- 25:53Speaker 4: I think and last names are okay.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Last names are just fine. Yeah, and we'll be pretty
- 25:56Speaker 6: liberal with it. But but I know who they are.
- 25:58Speaker 6: And so if you miss one of them, I gotta
- 26:00Speaker 6: go to the next caller. If we get a caller, Okay,
- 26:03Speaker 6: So let's get that clearyt. Yeah, it's clear. Three or
- 26:06Speaker 6: four three four, five fifty eight fifty eight three or
- 26:08Speaker 6: four three four five fifty eight fifty so named. There
- 26:11Speaker 6: are only five circuit judges that have served in Putnam
- 26:14Speaker 6: County in the last two in the last two dozen years. Yeah,
- 26:18Speaker 6: that were not Now I'm not talking about senior status
- 26:20Speaker 6: judges that came in very temporarily, but either appointed by
- 26:23Speaker 6: a governor when there's a vacancy.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Or uh, we're elected.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Okay, Edie, Eddie, Eddie's on the lane. Edie gotten answer
- 26:29Speaker 4: to the trivia question.
- 26:31Speaker 9: Yeah, what was the question I need?
- 26:32Speaker 6: Okay, all right, the question was in Putnham County Circuit
- 26:37Speaker 6: Court between year two thousand and now, can you name
- 26:40Speaker 6: the last names of the five circuit judges who were
- 26:44Speaker 6: elected were appointed by the governor between year two thousand now,
- 26:47Speaker 6: only only two served at one time. So these are
- 26:50Speaker 6: you know, there's only two at one time. Yeah, just
- 26:52Speaker 6: in couveral elections and maybe somebody I was.
- 26:56Speaker 9: Known for Putnam County and I'm sorry, that's all.
- 26:58Speaker 6: Right, right, you can if you get a slot, I mean,
- 27:00Speaker 6: you can do some research there and call back.
- 27:03Speaker 7: We got a few minutes three four.
- 27:04Speaker 4: Three four fifty eight fifty eight, I could I could
- 27:08Speaker 4: get there's.
- 27:09Speaker 6: One that would be a little more difficult than the others. Yeah, yeah,
- 27:12Speaker 6: I'll give you a clue on that.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 27:14Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 27:15Speaker 6: But while we're waiting to see if somebody else calls them,
- 27:17Speaker 6: we've got a couple other things coming up. So next week,
- 27:19Speaker 6: my dad and I we're gonna take a little break.
- 27:21Speaker 6: I'm going to be out of town and and uh
- 27:24Speaker 6: but my good friend Kevin Polly uh class in nineteen
- 27:28Speaker 6: ninety four go Red Dragons. So I met the thirty
- 27:30Speaker 6: year reunion here this summer. But he's the communications director
- 27:34Speaker 6: for the Western Division of the American Heart Association.
- 27:37Speaker 4: Lots of energy.
- 27:37Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, really.
- 27:39Speaker 6: He does some acting, local acting too, which he started.
- 27:42Speaker 6: I mean he's been that way since I've known you
- 27:44Speaker 6: since Junior Hide so, but he's not going to be
- 27:47Speaker 6: here unfortunately, but he's got some folks coming to kind
- 27:51Speaker 6: of promote the Charleston Heartwalk.
- 27:54Speaker 7: When of their fundraised.
- 27:54Speaker 6: I think the Heartwalk was on October fifth, But they've
- 27:57Speaker 6: got the development director for that program coming, and then
- 28:00Speaker 6: I think the chairperson of the board. Okay, so we'll
- 28:03Speaker 6: have two guests for the American Heart Association next Thursday,
- 28:07Speaker 6: so you can you can ask him questions about heart
- 28:09Speaker 6: health and maybe how you can help them raise some
- 28:11Speaker 6: money to get awareness out.
- 28:12Speaker 7: There for their cause. Really good calls.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Yeah, good to see him.
- 28:15Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 28:16Speaker 7: And then we've got I want to talk about one
- 28:19Speaker 7: another thing that we got a call.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Got Eddie on the line, Edie, what do you got Eddie?
- 28:26Speaker 7: Go ahead, Eddie, it's a different Eddie.
- 28:27Speaker 4: Is that right? Or is that did I see the
- 28:29Speaker 4: wrong thing? Here? Wait a minute here, Maybe I didn't.
- 28:31Speaker 7: Call its quick?
- 28:32Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, that was quick. Okay, I'm a potted down. Okay,
- 28:35Speaker 4: maybe we've got somebody else, Okay, go ahead, right.
- 28:37Speaker 6: So the other thing we you know, we like to
- 28:39Speaker 6: help locally, we gave to the Oh God.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Is on the line.
- 28:43Speaker 2: Get it going.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Doug on the line.
- 28:45Speaker 9: Go ahead, Doug, what about what reader Holiday say?
- 28:51Speaker 10: And Rain, No, that was not Let's see what what
- 28:58Speaker 10: was not there after year two thousand because he lost
- 29:01Speaker 10: the election coming in Sorcea hasn't been the judge.
- 29:04Speaker 7: Rains hasn't been the judge we do.
- 29:07Speaker 4: I mean you got some Putnam County people.
- 29:08Speaker 7: Oh, yeah, you definitely have some good candidates, I would say.
- 29:12Speaker 6: And Mark Sorsel has put his name in the hat
- 29:15Speaker 6: a few times for some other positions, and now he's
- 29:17Speaker 6: Director Homeland Security.
- 29:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that's prosecutor.
- 29:21Speaker 4: It's a it's all right to think again. Doug, callis back.
- 29:23Speaker 4: We got time, okay, three or four, three, four, five fifteen.
- 29:27Speaker 7: Maybe I stumped everybody. May what else stumped Google? I
- 29:30Speaker 7: don't know.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Four tickets to the Albany game to What's great about
- 29:34Speaker 4: two nineteen the section two nineteen sixteen to sixteen if
- 29:37Speaker 4: there is a punt return or a kickoff return for
- 29:39Speaker 4: a touchdown, you can see that open up right from
- 29:41Speaker 4: that vanished party.
- 29:42Speaker 7: It's about the.
- 29:43Speaker 6: Forty yard forty to forty five yard line, fifth row,
- 29:47Speaker 6: second level, so it's uh, it's kind of in the
- 29:49Speaker 6: middle of that section. So if you got to get
- 29:50Speaker 6: the bathroom, you got to go through everybody. But other
- 29:53Speaker 6: than that, they're really really good seats.
- 29:55Speaker 4: So you want to start on your predictions here, you.
- 29:57Speaker 7: Want to because we're unning out time. Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 6: Yeah, So last year was a bit pessimistic. I think
- 30:02Speaker 6: I had us with a losing record maybe, and I'm
- 30:04Speaker 6: glad they proved me wrong.
- 30:05Speaker 7: So I'm going to opposite direction.
- 30:06Speaker 4: At least I think your dad was right on and
- 30:08Speaker 4: he was right.
- 30:09Speaker 6: Yeah, so uh, hopefully that doesn't I don't. I think
- 30:13Speaker 6: he's probably a little more pessimistic this year, but hopefully
- 30:16Speaker 6: I don't jinx them here. But but here I'll run
- 30:18Speaker 6: through it. So I think we're going to win against
- 30:20Speaker 6: Penn State Saturday.
- 30:21Speaker 7: WHOA.
- 30:21Speaker 6: I'm worrying because I like the underdog mentality. I think
- 30:24Speaker 6: we've been pumped up a little bit too much locally
- 30:26Speaker 6: and so I kind of worry. But Penn State thinks
- 30:29Speaker 6: they're better than us. And you know, if you could
- 30:32Speaker 6: just get people into the game, then coaches would never
- 30:35Speaker 6: have trouble getting teams ready. So I think Penn State's
- 30:37Speaker 6: gonna overlook us a bit. They're looking for bigger things.
- 30:39Speaker 6: They want to beat the highest Aight or Michigan and
- 30:41Speaker 6: get a national totaler ranked eight or nine. So when
- 30:44Speaker 6: they're win versus Albany, go away to Pitt, I think
- 30:47Speaker 6: we beat Pitt this year. So I'm going to do
- 30:49Speaker 6: three wins right in a row. Then I think we
- 30:51Speaker 6: get a little let down.
- 30:52Speaker 10: Though.
- 30:52Speaker 6: We got Kansas at home. They're they're up and coming,
- 30:55Speaker 6: they're ranked.
- 30:56Speaker 4: Here's the here's the big this is the crucial stretch
- 30:59Speaker 4: of the SEA.
- 31:00Speaker 6: I'm going lost at home to Kansas. I won't be
- 31:02Speaker 6: there because I'm going down to visit my son and
- 31:04Speaker 6: watch the UCLA LSU game that weekend.
- 31:07Speaker 7: Dad's going to go though.
- 31:08Speaker 6: Oklahoma State at Oklahoma State, they're tough out there. I
- 31:12Speaker 6: say we got another L. So that's two losses, three wins.
- 31:15Speaker 6: I think we get I was at home. I think
- 31:17Speaker 6: that's a win. We get k State at home, tough.
- 31:21Speaker 6: I've seen k State beat us at home many times.
- 31:24Speaker 6: I put that one down for a loss.
- 31:25Speaker 4: Okay, so you're going to be four and three after
- 31:29Speaker 4: seven after winning their first three, you're saying they're going
- 31:32Speaker 4: to go one in three to be four and three
- 31:35Speaker 4: with five games left. Yeah, okay, but that.
- 31:37Speaker 6: Will make it real easy at Arizona, a win. I
- 31:40Speaker 6: think Arizona's over ranked at since we should be better
- 31:44Speaker 6: than them. Win home versus Baylor, Baylor's down, I think
- 31:49Speaker 6: we beat him at home. Win home versus UCF Man,
- 31:54Speaker 6: they're pretty good, but we handled them pretty well last year.
- 31:58Speaker 6: I think we'll win that one. And then at Texas Tech.
- 32:00Speaker 6: This is the one where I was teetering. It's tough
- 32:02Speaker 6: to go out there and play love it, but I'm
- 32:06Speaker 6: going to be optimistic this year, So I say a
- 32:07Speaker 6: win there. So I'm pricking predicting US nine and.
- 32:10Speaker 7: Three this year.
- 32:11Speaker 4: So you're predicting is that optimistic fact? Well, you know
- 32:14Speaker 4: a lot of that was the average on the Sunday
- 32:17Speaker 4: prediction show on the West Coast Line. It was nine wins.
- 32:20Speaker 4: It was eight point nine. Okay, some people predicted a
- 32:23Speaker 4: point something. But if you look at okay, so you
- 32:27Speaker 4: say a good start and a strong start and a
- 32:30Speaker 4: strong finish with that tough stretch. Not doing so well
- 32:33Speaker 4: with the tough stretch in October basically is what you're saying, right, Yeah.
- 32:37Speaker 6: Yeah, And I hesitate on those because a couple of
- 32:39Speaker 6: those losses I have as home games. But case State,
- 32:41Speaker 6: it's just tough, and I think we get a little
- 32:44Speaker 6: bit of letdown after those three kind of big games.
- 32:46Speaker 7: At the beginning.
- 32:47Speaker 4: We're going with Gary on the line. Gary, do you
- 32:50Speaker 4: have an answer to the trivia question?
- 32:52Speaker 9: Yeah? About readers star wars with Hoover Leslie.
- 32:59Speaker 6: No, missed the two and one of them? But what
- 33:03Speaker 6: is the family court judge? Not the circuit judge?
- 33:07Speaker 7: And then there was another one. Let's see what Hoover
- 33:10Speaker 7: was not.
- 33:13Speaker 6: He ran for election this time, but he lost to
- 33:18Speaker 6: one to a judge that I don't think you named
- 33:20Speaker 6: in your So he missed out on two of them.
- 33:24Speaker 4: But that's the closest so far.
- 33:26Speaker 6: So Gary, if nobody else calls in and gets it,
- 33:30Speaker 6: Gary's done the best so far. Okay, Gary be so
- 33:33Speaker 6: Gary will be the winner if nobody else can get
- 33:35Speaker 6: because that was three out.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Of five, Yeah, three out of five and and two
- 33:40Speaker 4: of them well two there are two.
- 33:43Speaker 6: Current serving, yeah, currently serving.
- 33:45Speaker 4: Okay, but there but there are three of but there's
- 33:48Speaker 4: two that I'm thinking of that are well, I know
- 33:52Speaker 4: one's very popular. Someone just hasn't named them yet, all right, right, yeah, okay, okay,
- 33:56Speaker 4: three o four.
- 33:57Speaker 6: I think one current current judge. They haven't named yet.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Yeah, fourth, three, four, five, fifty eight, fifty eight again,
- 34:02Speaker 4: four tickets to the Alburny game and a blue.
- 34:05Speaker 7: Blue lot pass. Yeah, so that's really good.
- 34:07Speaker 6: It's six o'clock start, so you know, you can go
- 34:09Speaker 6: and get there, have plenty of time to get there,
- 34:11Speaker 6: and that kind of thing should be hopefully good weather.
- 34:13Speaker 6: I don't want to hit on one other kind of charitable.
- 34:15Speaker 6: We talked about the Heart Association, but we're also a
- 34:17Speaker 6: big sponsor of the Special Olympics. We've helped with their
- 34:20Speaker 6: at least in our local area. I think one of
- 34:22Speaker 6: their primary fundraisers, which is their golf event they do
- 34:24Speaker 6: every September at Sleepy Hollow Golf Club, and it was
- 34:27Speaker 6: sponsored by Toyota for gosh, probably twenty years plus, and
- 34:30Speaker 6: Toyota just kind of shifted, you know, maybe some of
- 34:33Speaker 6: their funding a different direction. Not anything in Special Olympics.
- 34:36Speaker 6: I think they've just gone towards STEM type other things.
- 34:41Speaker 6: But my friend Chad Prather, who's high up in Huntington Banks,
- 34:44Speaker 6: has helped in Huntington Banks is now the presenting sponsor
- 34:47Speaker 6: last year and this year. But they got some teams
- 34:49Speaker 6: open September night. It's the event I know we got
- 34:51Speaker 6: a call, but I wanted to put that out there
- 34:53Speaker 6: because they need a couple more teams to play in
- 34:55Speaker 6: that except if you want to play Sleepy Hollow. September ninth,
- 34:59Speaker 6: look at the Special Olympic West Virginia. I think Southern
- 35:01Speaker 6: West Virginia and uh I should be able to get
- 35:03Speaker 6: an application there. We're gonna we're sponsoring again this year.
- 35:06Speaker 7: I can't play. I've got a hearing that day.
- 35:07Speaker 6: But I've actually got Steve animals z E the Mountain
- 35:10Speaker 6: is gonna be So that's our that's our contribution. It's
- 35:12Speaker 6: gonna do a remote feed our broadcast from the Holliday
- 35:16Speaker 6: and he'll he'll do I'm sure he'll do a really
- 35:17Speaker 6: good job of promoting. And it's just another great cause
- 35:20Speaker 6: that we are really proud to help.
- 35:22Speaker 4: All Right, Rick is on the line. Rick, do you
- 35:24Speaker 4: know the five circuit judges in Putnam County since two thousand?
- 35:28Speaker 9: I don't know if I got five. I say, Reader,
- 35:31Speaker 9: Faulding and the Stowers.
- 35:38Speaker 6: Okay, there's one more and he was named earlier and
- 35:42Speaker 6: the caller right before you. It's like eagles. Yeah, that's four.
- 35:50Speaker 6: That's the closest. So we're gonna hang on to him. Okay, yeah, okay,
- 35:53Speaker 6: all unless somebody calls it and gets that it's kind
- 35:56Speaker 6: of unfair now because there's only one missing.
- 35:58Speaker 4: Yeah, there's only one missing, but that's the one I.
- 36:00Speaker 7: Thought would be more difficult.
- 36:01Speaker 4: Okay, So what would be your We only got a
- 36:03Speaker 4: minute left, so let's go ahead and give it to Rick. Okay, okay,
- 36:06Speaker 4: So well.
- 36:06Speaker 7: The missing one was Bob Leslie.
- 36:09Speaker 6: He was appointed by Tom Whin somebody said his name earlier,
- 36:12Speaker 6: but then there was a special election rider quickly and
- 36:15Speaker 6: he lost to.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Judge Reader I think within a year of a point.
- 36:19Speaker 4: That's a good one. Okay, So what should he do? Tom?
- 36:21Speaker 7: Wow?
- 36:21Speaker 6: Well I got to take a tier. So Rick, if
- 36:23Speaker 6: you want to come to the station, or you can
- 36:24Speaker 6: come to our office in Nitrailer. I can take him
- 36:26Speaker 6: back there and just pick him up.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Which would you rather do?
- 36:29Speaker 10: Rick?
- 36:31Speaker 4: Okay, okay, good, I'll I got to do.
- 36:33Speaker 6: A little title work, but I'll be back there by
- 36:35Speaker 6: ten fifteen this morning and we'll have him out front.
- 36:38Speaker 6: So any time between eight and five is fine. Of course,
- 36:40Speaker 6: the game isn't until next Saturday, so you're welcome to
- 36:42Speaker 6: come in.
- 36:43Speaker 4: That's pretty good. Four five. Leslie was a very short
- 36:46Speaker 4: It was a very right.
- 36:46Speaker 7: I that's the one I thought would be tough. Of
- 36:48Speaker 7: course it's faulting.
- 36:49Speaker 6: Unfortunately passed away at als and then and I know I.
- 36:53Speaker 4: Wanted to say holiday because longtime judge. And then he
- 36:56Speaker 4: did some senior status stuff, right, he kind of said.
- 36:58Speaker 6: In a little bit when Judge fall Holding got ill,
- 37:01Speaker 6: but he was not officially appointed as.
- 37:03Speaker 4: You had the qualifier there to the position.
- 37:05Speaker 7: Yeah, clarified that.
- 37:06Speaker 4: But okay, Peyton Law Firm in nitrotime.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Yeah, you can give us a call at three or
- 37:10Speaker 6: four seven five five five five five six, or we
- 37:12Speaker 6: can stop buy or right there on the main drag
- 37:14Speaker 6: twenty to one first Avenue. It's just a minute off
- 37:17Speaker 6: the interstate. You can stop by right near Dairy Queen
- 37:19Speaker 6: there so you can get yourself a peanut buster parfe
- 37:22Speaker 6: or a or a hot dog or something like that.
- 37:24Speaker 6: But yeah, if you have a all we ask you know,
- 37:27Speaker 6: we do a really good job in litigation and that's
- 37:29Speaker 6: what gets case settled. So if you have some bits injured,
- 37:31Speaker 6: or you've been injured in an automobile acent or something
- 37:34Speaker 6: like that, we just asked you consider us and if
- 37:36Speaker 6: you do we give your case particular attention because we're
- 37:39Speaker 6: quite selective on the cases that we handle.
- 37:40Speaker 4: All right, ABC News is next. This is five eighty
