- 2:21Speaker 4: All right, guys, welcome back e y L biggest in
- 2:25Speaker 4: the game edition, biggest Hall of Fame edition for sure.
- 2:28Speaker 4: So first and foremost is an honor to being the
- 2:30Speaker 4: presidence of greatness. So we're in the Rap Snacks headquarters.
- 2:33Speaker 4: If you're not familiar with raps Snacks, we're gonna make
- 2:35Speaker 4: you for me by the end of the show. So
- 2:37Speaker 4: we got the legendary master P needs no introduction. We
- 2:40Speaker 4: have wise intelligent uh, President of Rap Snacks Foundation, Peace
- 2:45Speaker 4: to the God, James Lindsay, CEO and founder of Rap Snacks.
- 2:53Speaker 4: So first and foremost, gentlemen, thank you for joining us.
- 2:55Speaker 4: Appreciate it, thank you for having sure glad to be
- 2:59Speaker 4: here for sure for sure. So I mean, let's jump
- 3:01Speaker 4: right into it. You know, we got the product right there,
- 3:05Speaker 4: replacement P. You were talking about something told about product
- 3:08Speaker 4: off camera. So where are we at with rap Snacks
- 3:11Speaker 4: Because it's an interesting story. I believe the company originally
- 3:14Speaker 4: started in nineteen ninety four and this is the relaunch
- 3:16Speaker 4: and for me, it's dope to see, like Cardi B
- 3:19Speaker 4: and Little Boosy reminds me of like a Wheati's box,
- 3:22Speaker 4: you know what I'm saying, Like the Beaties box exactly exactly.
- 3:26Speaker 4: So where are we at with Rap Snacks in twenty
- 3:29Speaker 4: twenty one.
- 3:30Speaker 7: We're basically, man, rap Snacks is you know, we're like,
- 3:33Speaker 7: you know, envision that Rap Snacks is going to be
- 3:36Speaker 7: the biggest brand in the world, you know, eventually, because
- 3:40Speaker 7: we in come with the culture of hip hop. But
- 3:43Speaker 7: our brand is outside the box. You know, It's not
- 3:46Speaker 7: something that people are kind of used to, you know,
- 3:49Speaker 7: today's world. They want some disruptive something, you know that's
- 3:53Speaker 7: right in their face. But the secret to our success
- 3:55Speaker 7: is actually the product can help well, it chases you know.
- 4:00Speaker 7: I was the first one to create a honey barbecue
- 4:02Speaker 7: ptakeiship years ago, right, And I've always noticed that a
- 4:06Speaker 7: lot of these other brands they have, you know, flavor
- 4:09Speaker 7: profiles that are kind of bland and not really what
- 4:13Speaker 7: I would say that you know, come up kid from
- 4:15Speaker 7: Inner City would really want. You want something that is
- 4:18Speaker 7: bold and something that's flavorful. So if you open the
- 4:21Speaker 7: back of Rap Snacks, man, we're flavor profiles and we
- 4:23Speaker 7: got two times a season as somebody else's product out
- 4:27Speaker 7: there in the marketplace, you know, And I'm one of
- 4:28Speaker 7: them guys. I'm a nice guy, but if I go
- 4:30Speaker 7: out in the marketplace, and it says, a honey barbecue
- 4:33Speaker 7: on my bag and it tastes like a plane ship.
- 4:35Speaker 6: I'm mad, I.
- 4:39Speaker 8: Mean, but just to be real, you know, James matters
- 4:42Speaker 8: about it. A lot of that stuff, you know, it
- 4:45Speaker 8: don't taste as good as raps nock. And we've been
- 4:49Speaker 8: supporting that for years, and were changing that narrative because
- 4:52Speaker 8: it's us owning products and we're, like James say, we're
- 4:55Speaker 8: not just making it for people that look like us.
- 4:58Speaker 8: We're making product for the world. So they do it
- 5:01Speaker 8: all the time with us. They use us, they use
- 5:05Speaker 8: our imagery, they use our culture, and then we promote
- 5:10Speaker 8: these brands and we have no ownership. Were changing that
- 5:14Speaker 8: narrative to where now we're making big brands for the
- 5:17Speaker 8: world for humans, not just a black, white, Latino Indian thing.
- 5:22Speaker 6: This is for everybody.
- 5:23Speaker 8: So when you pick up a rap Snacks, you pick
- 5:25Speaker 8: up a biggest small bag or called it b you
- 5:28Speaker 8: know that this is for the world.
- 5:29Speaker 6: And we expanding in the product.
- 5:32Speaker 8: And so that's where we changing the game at putting
- 5:34Speaker 8: some diversity on these shelves to where it's us having
- 5:39Speaker 8: products on the shelves so we could feed our families,
- 5:41Speaker 8: feed our communities. Our motel is the more we make,
- 5:44Speaker 8: the more we give. You know, I'll give you a
- 5:46Speaker 8: prime example.
- 5:47Speaker 7: You know, if you go to Jackson, Mississippi, which is
- 5:50Speaker 7: one of our most you know, Southern marketplaces, and if
- 5:54Speaker 7: you go into the stores that we sell to Less
- 5:57Speaker 7: and Warman Sital stores are owned by minorities, yeah, or
- 6:00Speaker 7: you know people that look like us, you know. And
- 6:03Speaker 7: what we always say that our communities are over extracted,
- 6:06Speaker 7: you know, because what happens is everything is going is
- 6:09Speaker 7: going out and nothing it's coming back in because we
- 6:11Speaker 7: don't own any of the products other than the rap
- 6:14Speaker 7: snacks and some of the items that we're trying to
- 6:15Speaker 7: put together, man p trying to put together.
- 6:18Speaker 8: We consumers because not producers, right, So we have to
- 6:21Speaker 8: change that narrative.
- 6:22Speaker 7: Yeah, and it's kind of you know, we always say
- 6:24Speaker 7: it's deeper than rap snacks.
- 6:28Speaker 2: So, I mean it started in ninety four, but obviously
- 6:32Speaker 2: the name rap, we know, hip hop influences the world,
- 6:35Speaker 2: not just hip hop music and fashion, like it infects
- 6:38Speaker 2: everything in the world absolutely. And so in two thousand
- 6:40Speaker 2: and three you decide to put rap images. What was
- 6:43Speaker 2: like the idea, like you saw what it was doing
- 6:45Speaker 2: and said, you know what, we got to put the
- 6:46Speaker 2: most popular people in the world on our products.
- 6:48Speaker 6: Yeah, what I did?
- 6:49Speaker 7: I you know, I was telling one of the guys
- 6:52Speaker 7: out in the lobby that our approached Universe and Music group.
- 6:56Speaker 6: You know.
- 6:57Speaker 7: Lady was Jackie Reinhardt. She was the president of Universal Marketing,
- 7:02Speaker 7: And I said, Jackie, y'all spending all this money on
- 7:05Speaker 7: you know, these stickers and posters that people taking down
- 7:08Speaker 7: every day, you know. You know, yeah, I said, y'all
- 7:13Speaker 7: can give y'all can give me that money, you know,
- 7:15Speaker 7: I can put it on my bag, you know chips.
- 7:17Speaker 7: And it's something that they're going to use not only
- 7:20Speaker 7: as a silvern air, but they're going to use it
- 7:22Speaker 7: as it's a fact finding mission, you know, like all right,
- 7:24Speaker 7: you know, let me go in the back of the
- 7:25Speaker 7: bag and scan you know, our cold you are cold
- 7:29Speaker 7: and see more information about your artists.
- 7:31Speaker 6: You know.
- 7:31Speaker 7: So I kind of, you know, be saying, Philly, I
- 7:34Speaker 7: kind of flipped the script on them a little bit,
- 7:36Speaker 7: you know, and I'm like, hey, you know, why not
- 7:39Speaker 7: you know, add another option to what you guys are marketing.
- 7:42Speaker 7: And that was really the creation of putting rap snacks,
- 7:45Speaker 7: you know, on artists on the Rap Snacks bag.
- 7:48Speaker 6: Before that, we had MC potato in the bag.
- 7:52Speaker 9: So right, I know, little little Romeo was the person
- 7:55Speaker 9: on the honey Bomber.
- 7:56Speaker 7: Yes, you know, yeah, so you know, let me just
- 7:58Speaker 7: tell you that, you know, so how I'm at P
- 8:01Speaker 7: was you know he was actually had his label at
- 8:03Speaker 7: Universal people over there, you know, and got that bag
- 8:06Speaker 7: from him.
- 8:09Speaker 6: Over there, right so you know, and I got.
- 8:11Speaker 7: A call you know from Pace like, man, I really
- 8:13Speaker 7: like what you're doing, you know what I mean?
- 8:15Speaker 6: I said, well, I appreciate that, man. You know.
- 8:17Speaker 7: So you know, this is always always tell people in
- 8:19Speaker 7: my interviews that me and P like brothers because the
- 8:22Speaker 7: line is that we've kind of grown into understanding, you know,
- 8:26Speaker 7: you know who does what. You know what I'm saying,
- 8:28Speaker 7: I'm the creative of all the products and what have you.
- 8:32Speaker 7: You know, P goes out in the Marcus. He has
- 8:33Speaker 7: a big brand, you know, and we we.
- 8:36Speaker 6: Really will That's what. Let me tell you something.
- 8:44Speaker 8: Me, I'd be ready to go we get a product.
- 8:46Speaker 8: I'm like, James put this out right now, like now, bro,
- 8:50Speaker 8: we gotta get it. You know, he from Philadelphia. Brother,
- 8:53Speaker 8: I'm like, dude, listen at this money. He's like, no, bro, listen, listen,
- 8:57Speaker 8: get it straight. We're gonna make sure it tastes good.
- 8:59Speaker 8: He's hoodie, who's this should have been out? James had
- 9:04Speaker 8: to taste this thing thirty time and I'm like, you
- 9:07Speaker 8: know what, but when when the magic came?
- 9:09Speaker 6: The magic came. So that's what's good. We balance each
- 9:12Speaker 6: other off.
- 9:13Speaker 8: And I think that's what's good about this because even
- 9:15Speaker 8: the noodles at first, you know, we know we came
- 9:17Speaker 8: up with something good because we was like, you know what,
- 9:20Speaker 8: We've been eating noodles all our lives, but we never
- 9:22Speaker 8: owned it. And so you know, I'm like, James, we
- 9:25Speaker 8: got to get this out now, and he was like,
- 9:28Speaker 8: you know, we got to find the right place to
- 9:30Speaker 8: make this. You know, all these different things that would
- 9:32Speaker 8: create a business. You gotta trust the process. Our people
- 9:35Speaker 8: don't want to trust the process. But we figured out
- 9:37Speaker 8: in this in our journey, like James said, way back then,
- 9:40Speaker 8: nobody believed but us. Me and James have been on
- 9:44Speaker 8: little planes, little places, going to these factors and stuff
- 9:47Speaker 8: trying to make this happen. This man really is a genius.
- 9:50Speaker 8: He don't get the problem. We done helped a lot
- 9:52Speaker 8: of people into the game. But now we able to
- 9:54Speaker 8: take our business and we built PJ Foods and taking
- 9:58Speaker 8: this to another level because we got to start thinking
- 10:00Speaker 8: and stop taking companies public. And that's where wives come
- 10:04Speaker 8: in at because in the foundation part, I just think
- 10:07Speaker 8: that what we created, our people are gonna be proud
- 10:11Speaker 8: hundreds of years from now saying look what we've done,
- 10:14Speaker 8: because we got all kind of products and this all
- 10:16Speaker 8: started from potato chips, but expanding our brand and expanding
- 10:21Speaker 8: our minds setting whatever they could do, we could do
- 10:24Speaker 8: it better. But this man know how to make sure
- 10:26Speaker 8: it tastes good. That's the way you say you can
- 10:28Speaker 8: put in a brown.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Paper bag right now, they're gonna buy it if it
- 10:30Speaker 6: tastes They don't.
- 10:31Speaker 7: You know, but you know learning is part of you know,
- 10:34Speaker 7: of course the financial litergy, right you know, like I
- 10:37Speaker 7: know that when we make this product out there and
- 10:39Speaker 7: put it on the shelves, it got to be ten
- 10:40Speaker 7: times better than other products in the marketplace. You know,
- 10:44Speaker 7: we can have Jesus on the back that parduct can
- 10:47Speaker 7: good in the side. They ain't buying it, especially.
- 10:49Speaker 8: Us, because you know, we gonna we gonna criticize it.
- 10:53Speaker 6: Like man I don't like that. Man.
- 10:55Speaker 8: They got to give us a chance, like we got
- 10:58Speaker 8: to get a chance to get this out there. And
- 11:00Speaker 8: so that's what the imbalance is when you talk about
- 11:03Speaker 8: economic empowerment. We don't own nothing because we don't trust
- 11:07Speaker 8: the process with us. We let all these companies grow
- 11:09Speaker 8: and get better, and we don't mind promote marketing them
- 11:12Speaker 8: buying a product, but we don't do it for us.
- 11:14Speaker 8: And I told Jane, we're gonna change that narrative. This
- 11:17Speaker 8: is not only you're gonna see raps next Uncle Pete product.
- 11:20Speaker 8: You're gonna see thousands of people that look like us
- 11:22Speaker 8: that own products and brands because we go and kick
- 11:25Speaker 8: these doors open.
- 11:26Speaker 7: Yeah, you know. And it's to add to that peek.
- 11:28Speaker 7: If y'all going to a supermarket, you'll see all these sections.
- 11:31Speaker 7: You'll see, you know, a Hispanic section which is Goyer, Gore,
- 11:34Speaker 7: here's a three big.
- 11:35Speaker 6: And our company right, all Hispanic products. Right. You'll go
- 11:39Speaker 6: to another section where.
- 11:44Speaker 7: I have that you don't have any one section right,
- 11:47Speaker 7: And I want to bring us up because this is important,
- 11:49Speaker 7: because this is how we're going to change and really
- 11:51Speaker 7: change the narrative. Because without distribution, you can have the
- 11:54Speaker 7: best product in the world and nobody gets to change
- 11:56Speaker 7: and taste it.
- 11:57Speaker 6: You know, you're not gonna get it's not gonna go anywhere.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Yeah, So our philosophy is to be able to you know,
- 12:03Speaker 7: start with rap snacks, but also build it out with
- 12:05Speaker 7: other products that when people want to buy our stuff
- 12:07Speaker 7: from the culture, they can go through one section in
- 12:09Speaker 7: the store like they're buying you know, any product in
- 12:13Speaker 7: Macy's and they know that they're buying.
- 12:15Speaker 4: You know, that's a valid point. I never thought of
- 12:18Speaker 4: that before because I go to the grocery store in
- 12:20Speaker 4: my neighborhood and it's definitely like the Indian section, Chinese section,
- 12:25Speaker 4: and I've never I've never seen an African American section.
- 12:28Speaker 7: You've because because the thing of it is is that
- 12:32Speaker 7: we've had products out there, but they didn't represent our culture.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Uncle Ben and your mama, right, you know all the
- 12:37Speaker 7: story behind that straight. Yeah, Me and p we talked
- 12:40Speaker 7: about that. We're the ones that pushed that narrative to
- 12:42Speaker 7: get them off the shelves. We wanted. We started that movement.
- 12:46Speaker 7: You started that, Yes, we started that moving like all right,
- 12:48Speaker 7: we educated our people to educate just say. The thing
- 12:51Speaker 7: about it is.
- 12:53Speaker 8: We have to educate us because it's not about the money,
- 12:57Speaker 8: it's about wisdom, and people don't realize if you don't know,
- 13:00Speaker 8: how can you change the narrative? Because we done burned
- 13:02Speaker 8: down blocks, We done toast stuff up in different cities.
- 13:06Speaker 6: Now we're trying to buy back the blow.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Yeah, we buying them back. But not only we buying
- 13:09Speaker 8: them back. We educated enough to know what to do
- 13:12Speaker 8: when we get the money. And that's something that they
- 13:14Speaker 8: never taught us, because when you look at it, we
- 13:17Speaker 8: just met. We said how do we make real change
- 13:20Speaker 8: and growth economic empowerment because we wanted out to think
- 13:23Speaker 8: about it. After we did all that pick it in
- 13:26Speaker 8: and marching and all this stuff, what else happened different?
- 13:30Speaker 4: So Pete, let me ask you this because I feel
- 13:32Speaker 4: like there's a lot of crossover from like being an
- 13:36Speaker 4: entrepreneur in one area to being entrepreneur in another area.
- 13:39Speaker 4: So everybody knows you had a legendary you know, situation
- 13:42Speaker 4: where I believe it was eighteen eighty five fifteen split
- 13:46Speaker 4: and it was crazy. I think one year y'all put
- 13:48Speaker 4: out let me see, because like I was doing the
- 13:50Speaker 4: notes on this and it was like I couldn't even
- 13:53Speaker 4: I couldn't even believe how album how many albums you
- 13:56Speaker 4: guys actually put out. One year, it was in nineteen
- 13:58Speaker 4: ninety six you put out albums. In nineteen ninety eight
- 14:01Speaker 4: you put out twenty three albums. So that's like two
- 14:04Speaker 4: albums every single month. Yeah, so as that like the
- 14:09Speaker 4: same because I'm seeing a lot of products.
- 14:10Speaker 6: Are you flooding the streets, like.
- 14:15Speaker 8: Just like we flood we flooding the grocery store. So's
- 14:20Speaker 8: were changing the game, because are you watching what we're doing?
- 14:22Speaker 8: Like we said, we started with the chips, Now we
- 14:24Speaker 8: got ten twelve different products that's coming from everywhere, because
- 14:27Speaker 8: when you look at it, these are all products that
- 14:29Speaker 8: we are buying. And so people were scabbed back in
- 14:32Speaker 8: the days when I was putting the music out, saying
- 14:34Speaker 8: you can't put that many records out at a time.
- 14:36Speaker 8: And I'm saying, why not if they like one, they
- 14:40Speaker 8: selling thousands of records every week, I come, it can't
- 14:43Speaker 8: be coming from us. And so we went from selling
- 14:47Speaker 8: ten records to ten thousand to a million records to
- 14:51Speaker 8: one hundred million records independently. And they didn't think we
- 14:56Speaker 8: could do it the same thing. And I look at
- 14:57Speaker 8: me and James is like Malalu King and the people
- 15:02Speaker 8: that came before us. They fought for us, for our
- 15:04Speaker 8: freedom and civil rights. I feel like what me and
- 15:07Speaker 8: James is fighting for and that's just me. We're fighting
- 15:10Speaker 8: for economic empowerment for our people. That's what they're gonna
- 15:12Speaker 8: remember us for. When it's all said and done, they're
- 15:15Speaker 8: gonna say, these are the guys that showed black people
- 15:18Speaker 8: that they could own business, create it and get out
- 15:21Speaker 8: there and make a difference. Because we know this is
- 15:23Speaker 8: all temporary success, but we know we could pass this
- 15:25Speaker 8: down from generation to generations to our kids, our grandkids,
- 15:29Speaker 8: great grandkids. You look at Uncle Ben in answer Maima
- 15:33Speaker 8: that was around for one hundred and thirty years.
- 15:36Speaker 6: Phil.
- 15:36Speaker 8: We finally woke up. They made billions off us, and
- 15:39Speaker 8: we was cool with it. Our culture didn't say that
- 15:41Speaker 8: we supported it.
- 15:43Speaker 6: And we didn't even flinch.
- 15:45Speaker 8: But every time we put out something, it's like, you know,
- 15:48Speaker 8: that's the power of the internet.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Though it's a gift and the curse.
- 15:51Speaker 8: Everybody got something to say, so don't we don't attain
- 15:55Speaker 8: the wealth that they attained because they just only see
- 15:59Speaker 8: this the product with me and James c taking companies, public,
- 16:04Speaker 8: stop everything that's going on right now, Like this is
- 16:08Speaker 8: not it for us. Y'all might see this product. I'm
- 16:10Speaker 8: gonna tell y'all, y'all see why is here? You see
- 16:12Speaker 8: all this together. We're talking about creating banks. That's what
- 16:15Speaker 8: we're talking about.
- 16:16Speaker 3: So talk about that.
- 16:17Speaker 7: You can let that, you can let it out there,
- 16:25Speaker 7: y'all say, y'all the hottest podcast, y'all.
- 16:26Speaker 8: Get so like, like James says, deeper than raps next,
- 16:33Speaker 8: it is because we're creating were creating online banking for
- 16:38Speaker 8: disadvantaged people.
- 16:39Speaker 6: So you know a lot of us.
- 16:40Speaker 7: Unbankable people, unbankable people, unbankable now that don't have bank accounts.
- 16:47Speaker 7: People in this country that don't have bank accounts. You know,
- 16:52Speaker 7: people going to check hads and places and check and
- 16:55Speaker 7: casting their checks right.
- 16:56Speaker 6: And where where do we put our money?
- 16:58Speaker 8: And so when I talk about uh disadvantage, I'm talking
- 17:01Speaker 8: about financially disadvantage. And our culture a lot of us
- 17:05Speaker 8: are like that, like we can't even get a second
- 17:08Speaker 8: chance because we're messed up with these big banking systems.
- 17:12Speaker 8: And now we feel like we're going to give our
- 17:14Speaker 8: people a second chance to be able to have bank accounts,
- 17:18Speaker 8: credit cards, but do it to where we educate our
- 17:22Speaker 8: people in our culture.
- 17:24Speaker 10: And it's interesting, you know, So the piggyback off Peak,
- 17:28Speaker 10: the boss Up Foundation, we address these directly, these issues directly.
- 17:34Speaker 10: You look at our community. You know, our community is
- 17:35Speaker 10: not necessarily under resource. We have wealth, we have buying power.
- 17:40Speaker 10: We have one point two trillion dollars in collective buying
- 17:42Speaker 10: power that leave the community at the point of purchase.
- 17:45Speaker 10: Because we don't produce anything, we don't control the retail.
- 17:48Speaker 10: Like James said, out of a thousand stores in Mississippi
- 17:51Speaker 10: that we fill with, only three of them are black owned.
- 17:54Speaker 10: That's insane. So by teaching people to develop products that
- 17:58Speaker 10: covers the part of the equation where we're no longer
- 18:02Speaker 10: consumers and we're keeping the money rotating in the community,
- 18:06Speaker 10: circulating in the community longer so that they can empower
- 18:08Speaker 10: the institutions in the community that's to stay in our lives.
- 18:11Speaker 10: That's what's been the problem. So we're talking about producing products.
- 18:16Speaker 10: We're talking about asset management, stock market, and we're talking
- 18:19Speaker 10: about real estate. So we talk about by our blocks.
- 18:22Speaker 10: We're talking about stock and boss Up. We're talking about
- 18:25Speaker 10: Innovation Cafe, which is the program that teaches young people
- 18:28Speaker 10: how to develop products, you know, from start to finish,
- 18:31Speaker 10: from conception to the shelf. You know, So these are
- 18:34Speaker 10: things that are necessary. Like for example, you look at
- 18:36Speaker 10: Boston right now, I'm on the phone my guy earlier.
- 18:40Speaker 10: One of the programs that we're developing around the stock market,
- 18:43Speaker 10: it's for youth. It's called Black Junior, Black Wall Streeters.
- 18:47Speaker 10: And in Boston, the wealth gap is two hundred and
- 18:51Speaker 10: forty seven thousand dollars to eight dollars the wealth of
- 18:58Speaker 10: of the average wealth of black families and Boston is
- 19:00Speaker 10: eight dollars to two hundred and forty seven thousand.
- 19:11Speaker 9: It's going to be what pandemic accelerated that.
- 19:15Speaker 6: But guess what, we don't educate ourselves.
- 19:17Speaker 7: Yeah, you know what, And that's what the Boss of
- 19:19Speaker 7: Banking is about. Man P talked about it for a
- 19:21Speaker 7: long time as well as wise, we're going to create
- 19:25Speaker 7: entrepreneurial programs. You know, that's going to help people understand
- 19:28Speaker 7: how to become bankable. Like when you go you know,
- 19:31Speaker 7: when I first started out, you know, I had forty
- 19:33Speaker 7: thousand dollars from friends and family. I went to the
- 19:35Speaker 7: bank and what day the first thing to ask me,
- 19:37Speaker 7: is you know, do you have colladible you know, and
- 19:41Speaker 7: most of us don't, and we don't understand how to
- 19:43Speaker 7: get colladible, how to become bankable, how to get your
- 19:46Speaker 7: credit right, you know, where you can go and say, hey,
- 19:48Speaker 7: you know, I need a loan to start off with.
- 19:51Speaker 7: You know, So we're not trying to do anything anybody
- 19:52Speaker 7: else is doing. We're trying to take them on sixty
- 19:56Speaker 7: three million people, give them, educating them on how will
- 20:00Speaker 7: become more financial responsible period? And is that is that
- 20:04Speaker 7: intels helping them they create the credit you know, from
- 20:08Speaker 7: you know, opening up the account to you know, basically
- 20:11Speaker 7: helping them give information about what kind of business to
- 20:14Speaker 7: go into and how to get into business. That's what
- 20:16Speaker 7: we're going to be doing. That's the focus of you know,
- 20:18Speaker 7: the boss of banking, and.
- 20:20Speaker 8: That's us, that's us helping us. That's what you guys
- 20:22Speaker 8: got to realize. We're teaching us how to boss up.
- 20:26Speaker 8: You know, we're tired of sand we'll poll culture. We
- 20:28Speaker 8: wanted to poe as cultures in the world. No, we
- 20:31Speaker 8: spend trillions of dollars. Why we don't have money coming
- 20:35Speaker 8: back that we able to dictate where it goes and
- 20:39Speaker 8: you know, we we buy a lot of products that
- 20:41Speaker 8: even in stocks like like why said we buy a
- 20:45Speaker 8: lot of product, but we don't even invest in the
- 20:47Speaker 8: products that we like because we don't understand that we're
- 20:49Speaker 8: not educated.
- 20:50Speaker 10: To that thousand dollars it let is IPO would be
- 20:53Speaker 10: worth two point nine four million a day.
- 20:56Speaker 7: If you're invested in in Tesla, you know, ten to
- 20:59Speaker 7: fifteen years ago or where you know, a thousand dollars
- 21:01Speaker 7: what would you be worth now?
- 21:03Speaker 6: Right? But we don't know that.
- 21:04Speaker 7: You know, I didn't understand by an investing in the
- 21:06Speaker 7: stop market took about ten years ago. I was just
- 21:08Speaker 7: telling people I just look, I look at it every
- 21:10Speaker 7: of a minute now because again you know, but.
- 21:18Speaker 8: Y'all have to realize this, right, this is the conversations
- 21:22Speaker 8: we gotta be having.
- 21:23Speaker 6: You look at me and wives and James.
- 21:25Speaker 8: We all come from urban community and we all come
- 21:29Speaker 8: from poor backgrounds.
- 21:31Speaker 6: But the difference is and we all come from hip hop.
- 21:34Speaker 6: But look where we are.
- 21:35Speaker 8: So you followed our movement, then following this movement with
- 21:38Speaker 8: us now the path that we own because that's how
- 21:40Speaker 8: we get well, it's all about economic and banking. They
- 21:43Speaker 8: don't teach us that now do whatever school you go to,
- 21:46Speaker 8: they teaching their kids this in middle school, in high school.
- 21:49Speaker 6: They don't teach us that.
- 21:51Speaker 8: We all know we're gonna get a nice car, some jewelry,
- 21:54Speaker 8: and we're gonna live in somebody house. We ain't even
- 21:57Speaker 8: thinking about having our own house. We just want a
- 21:59Speaker 8: nice car, some jewelry and go from there. We have
- 22:02Speaker 8: to deprogram us, and I think the next thing that
- 22:05Speaker 8: we have to look at, you know, with us in
- 22:08Speaker 8: order to build well, you know, it's all about acquiring
- 22:12Speaker 8: other companies. And that's what me and James talk about
- 22:14Speaker 8: a lot now. You know, we put ourselves in a
- 22:16Speaker 8: position to acquire other companies and also to be able
- 22:20Speaker 8: to invest in other people dreams that they have in
- 22:25Speaker 8: saying that we could do instead of happen to go
- 22:27Speaker 8: wait for somebody else.
- 22:28Speaker 6: That's what our thinking.
- 22:29Speaker 7: That they don't understand it, and that's say understand their dreams. Yeah,
- 22:32Speaker 7: you know, I mean, you know, if I told somebody
- 22:35Speaker 7: about rap snacks, you know, ten fifteen years ago, they
- 22:38Speaker 7: were looking at me like I was crazy, you know.
- 22:40Speaker 7: So you know again, you know, it's all about you know,
- 22:44Speaker 7: really collectively trying to help each other and understand the
- 22:48Speaker 7: movement and that we're stronger in numbers.
- 22:50Speaker 8: This is a movement like I want. I wanted the
- 22:52Speaker 8: people know this is not about hip hop. This is
- 22:55Speaker 8: a real movement that we can change the narrative when
- 23:00Speaker 8: it comes to economic empowerment.
- 23:02Speaker 4: So you guys are business partners in a variety of
- 23:05Speaker 4: different things, not just rap snack. So it's interesting what
- 23:08Speaker 4: you just said. I was looking on your page and
- 23:09Speaker 4: I saw you bring a lot of small business owners
- 23:11Speaker 4: on your page and you highlight them and all that.
- 23:13Speaker 4: So and you said something that was crazy where a
- 23:15Speaker 4: lot of people don't even they don't even know their dream.
- 23:17Speaker 4: You got to mold their dream for them. So you
- 23:20Speaker 4: bringing those people on your page. Is that part of
- 23:23Speaker 4: like building the ecosystem and then coming under the umbrella.
- 23:26Speaker 8: Yes, because my thing is when you look at these
- 23:30Speaker 8: people with the different ideas and they just need some exposure.
- 23:35Speaker 8: And my thing is I'm saying we waste a lot
- 23:38Speaker 8: of time and money, but if I can invest back
- 23:41Speaker 8: into somebody else, because somebody gonna hit. Like James said,
- 23:44Speaker 8: nobody believed in his dream back then. You know, at
- 23:47Speaker 8: one time me and him was the only one on
- 23:49Speaker 8: the bus doing what we gotta do. But other people
- 23:53Speaker 8: have those dreams and they don't know where to go
- 23:55Speaker 8: at And so we said even with me saying we
- 23:58Speaker 8: built a channel on YouTube, which is important for the culture.
- 24:02Speaker 8: You know, if people look at Shark Tank and all,
- 24:04Speaker 8: but they're not looking at just the people at the bottom.
- 24:06Speaker 8: We're looking at the entrepreneur at the bottom level, saying
- 24:10Speaker 8: this guy could one day have all this, So we
- 24:15Speaker 8: want to be a part of helping them. Like v
- 24:17Speaker 8: capital yes, and so we were saying it, so I
- 24:20Speaker 8: build capital. Excuse me to cut you off, but the
- 24:23Speaker 8: underground yes, underground capital.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Us like saying, it's also saving us.
- 24:28Speaker 8: So we we're saving us because we're at the But
- 24:31Speaker 8: we got all these great ideas and they steal it
- 24:32Speaker 8: from us because we don't know where to get the
- 24:34Speaker 8: money from.
- 24:35Speaker 6: We don't know how to expose it to the world.
- 24:37Speaker 8: So were exposing these products and giving them a platform
- 24:41Speaker 8: to market them.
- 24:42Speaker 6: So for me, I'm a marketing genius.
- 24:44Speaker 8: This is this is all about me being a marketing genius, saying,
- 24:46Speaker 8: you know what, instead of just having this for me,
- 24:49Speaker 8: I want thousands at the table with us.
- 24:51Speaker 6: When now y'all see me James, who I can say,
- 24:53Speaker 6: it's the table.
- 24:54Speaker 8: I want thousands of people that look like us at
- 24:56Speaker 8: the table saying, man, my idea is there. Because if
- 24:59Speaker 8: you look at what I've done with master p Reviews
- 25:02Speaker 8: dot com, we made show that people get shine that
- 25:06Speaker 8: have great product that and we found so much great
- 25:08Speaker 8: product out there that nobody probably wouldn't know about it
- 25:11Speaker 8: if we didn't have that space.
- 25:14Speaker 7: We're the most one of the most creative people on
- 25:16Speaker 7: this earth. Yes, you know, we just don't have to
- 25:18Speaker 7: outlet everybody don't.
- 25:19Speaker 8: Have out And where where I'm gonna ask y'all where
- 25:21Speaker 8: the most talent?
- 25:24Speaker 6: What I want to know, where is the most talent
- 25:29Speaker 6: in our culture. I'm gonna get y'all in a better
- 25:32Speaker 6: answer in the graveyard.
- 25:33Speaker 8: Most of us don't get a chance to bring that
- 25:36Speaker 8: talent out and enlighten. It's a lot of people with
- 25:39Speaker 8: great ideas never got it there because you know, we're
- 25:42Speaker 8: not gonna last forever.
- 25:44Speaker 2: So now, because I said, he said getting the idea
- 25:47Speaker 2: from scaling it from the idea to the shows, right,
- 25:51Speaker 2: and so James, I'm thinking, like, where do we start that?
- 25:53Speaker 6: Right?
- 25:54Speaker 2: Somebody was saying this, like, yo, if you can get
- 25:56Speaker 2: hot where you are, there's a good chance that you'll
- 25:58Speaker 2: make it right. And so when we're trying to make
- 26:00Speaker 2: these raps. When we're making rap snacks, so we saw
- 26:02Speaker 2: in the mom and pop stores because I know, we
- 26:04Speaker 2: got to scale it to another level absolutely.
- 26:05Speaker 7: You know, I was in MoMA and see, my whole
- 26:07Speaker 7: philosophy initially with rap Snacks was, you know, I'm gonna
- 26:11Speaker 7: spread the brand all through the Mama pop inner city
- 26:15Speaker 7: stores around the country where I'm from, right, and eventually
- 26:19Speaker 7: when I get hot enough. You know, it's like an artist,
- 26:21Speaker 7: local artists, you get hot enough, they gonna come. They're
- 26:25Speaker 7: gonna come seeking for They're gonna be like, oh yeah something,
- 26:27Speaker 7: They're gonna come looking.
- 26:28Speaker 6: For you, you know.
- 26:30Speaker 7: And you know there's different levels you know, to you know,
- 26:35Speaker 7: producing and distributing a brand, or particularly distributing the brand,
- 26:39Speaker 7: because what happens when you go from corner store there's
- 26:43Speaker 7: no entry level fee. You go to some of these
- 26:45Speaker 7: supermarket chains, they have what they call slotting fees where
- 26:49Speaker 7: for every space that you have, they charge you mightey
- 26:52Speaker 7: be on.
- 26:53Speaker 3: That talk about that people might they might not know
- 26:55Speaker 3: about that.
- 26:55Speaker 7: Yeah, So slotting fees, again, it's just a you know,
- 26:59Speaker 7: it's so thinking. It's almost like a mortgage, a rent
- 27:02Speaker 7: that they're paying you for that space. You got to
- 27:04Speaker 7: pay for that space, you know, and if you're if
- 27:06Speaker 7: you're not ready for that, it really financially can ruin you,
- 27:10Speaker 7: right because your terms may not you know, be enough
- 27:13Speaker 7: to support you know that, you know that, you know
- 27:16Speaker 7: that situation, you know. And my thing was, you know,
- 27:19Speaker 7: going into the any city of Mama pop stores, the
- 27:21Speaker 7: bottom line is that they love rap snacks.
- 27:24Speaker 6: I ain't. I didn't didn't and then it was and
- 27:25Speaker 6: I didn't have to pay for those space.
- 27:30Speaker 8: Stores and getting them major change stores. Now you have
- 27:32Speaker 8: to pay to be on them shelves. And that's the difference.
- 27:34Speaker 8: That's why you don't see a lot of people that
- 27:36Speaker 8: look like us.
- 27:37Speaker 2: So you see it on the bottom mind like I'm
- 27:39Speaker 2: not paying to be in the mom and pop as
- 27:41Speaker 2: opposed to pay to be in the Clovers or something.
- 27:43Speaker 7: Right, yeah, because they what they do is that they
- 27:45Speaker 7: have what they call a planning ground, right, So the
- 27:47Speaker 7: playing ground. When you go on to a shelf, you'll
- 27:49Speaker 7: see all You'll see rap snacks, you'll see campbell, soup,
- 27:53Speaker 7: you'll see all these different items and Basically, they're saying, hey,
- 27:57Speaker 7: you got to pay for that space if you are
- 28:00Speaker 7: them that They really saying, hey, we can take you
- 28:02Speaker 7: or leave you now with raps snacks. We ain't paying
- 28:04Speaker 7: for none of that space because we're filling that void
- 28:08Speaker 7: and we're you know, when we first got into Walmart,
- 28:11Speaker 7: the buyers basically she said, James, y'all been very incremental
- 28:14Speaker 7: to our category, meaning that people that came you used
- 28:18Speaker 7: to come in that store, you know.
- 28:20Speaker 8: Just for y'all to know that's watching out there in
- 28:22Speaker 8: the hood. They call that seft pressence.
- 28:24Speaker 6: You ain't gonna solve President, that's what that's what they
- 28:31Speaker 6: called it, the Philly press Hut.
- 28:33Speaker 7: Yeah, but you know the bottom line is that she
- 28:36Speaker 7: was like, hey, now you have people that were coming
- 28:39Speaker 7: to our stores that didn't come before to buy rap snacks.
- 28:42Speaker 7: So the key for them is to find incremental products
- 28:45Speaker 7: that they can have in their shelves. Because they buy
- 28:48Speaker 7: rap snacks while in the store, they might buy some
- 28:50Speaker 7: other products as well, you know, So that's why they
- 28:52Speaker 7: called it incremental business.
- 28:53Speaker 4: Let me let me ask you, guys, p I definitely
- 28:55Speaker 4: want your opinion on this. The first time I heard
- 28:57Speaker 4: both of you guys speak well when I was actually
- 28:59Speaker 4: part of conversation with both of you guys on Clubhouse. Yes,
- 29:03Speaker 4: Clubhouse recently got the billion dollar valuation. Yeah, and I
- 29:06Speaker 4: know you had you had some opinions about that.
- 29:09Speaker 6: Somebody.
- 29:09Speaker 8: I just want you all to know, and that's spectacular.
- 29:15Speaker 8: So look no how they happened spectacular calling him and jugging.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Man, you need to get on Clubhouse.
- 29:23Speaker 8: I say, you know what, We're about to make another
- 29:26Speaker 8: one in them a billionaire.
- 29:27Speaker 6: And what I mean.
- 29:28Speaker 8: About that because the guy who did Clubhouse is not
- 29:31Speaker 8: nothing against him.
- 29:32Speaker 6: He a genius.
- 29:33Speaker 8: He created a platform that we all could go on.
- 29:36Speaker 8: I'm just saying for us, we need to create that
- 29:38Speaker 8: for us. If one of us, if me and James
- 29:41Speaker 8: did that right now, how many people entertain us, even
- 29:44Speaker 8: the ones we done paid already, how many of them
- 29:46Speaker 8: really gonna follow us on that? And what my thing is,
- 29:50Speaker 8: club House has done a great job in putting us
- 29:53Speaker 8: in a space. I'm just saying, we got to think
- 29:56Speaker 8: of creating that narrative because that's how we create billionaires.
- 29:59Speaker 8: This guy, what we did, we then took that took
- 30:03Speaker 8: their company to be a billion dollar valuation, Like think
- 30:09Speaker 8: about it. Off a twelve built off a twelve million
- 30:12Speaker 8: dollar investment, which they won't give us. If Specks say
- 30:17Speaker 8: he want to start a clubhouse right now, he's not
- 30:21Speaker 8: going to be able to get twelve million dollars a front,
- 30:25Speaker 8: which he said he can.
- 30:26Speaker 6: But I don't believe.
- 30:27Speaker 8: You know what I'm saying. I don't believe. But I'm
- 30:30Speaker 8: just saying. I'm just saying.
- 30:33Speaker 6: I'm just saying this facts the average back. They even
- 30:38Speaker 6: have a company.
- 30:39Speaker 8: Called Cookout trying to cook out. But let me tell
- 30:42Speaker 8: you something about Cookout. What I think that the narrative
- 30:45Speaker 8: have to change. We got to stop creating black companies.
- 30:48Speaker 8: Like when you look at Raps and we're not a
- 30:50Speaker 8: black company. We make stuff for the human beings. This
- 30:54Speaker 8: is what every culture, the culture so think about it.
- 30:57Speaker 8: But it's black owners. So that's the only thing I'm saying.
- 31:00Speaker 8: Add some diversity in the technology side to where we
- 31:04Speaker 8: own something that we could sell to them. We have
- 31:07Speaker 8: to reverse the game now because now we want them
- 31:11Speaker 8: to buy our products, but we want to have the
- 31:14Speaker 8: control and we want to control the narrative with ownership.
- 31:17Speaker 6: And that's what I mean by clubhouse. That's it. They
- 31:19Speaker 6: got a great product, I'm happy for them.
- 31:22Speaker 8: But I'm saying we need to control those types of
- 31:25Speaker 8: how we put money back in the community and the
- 31:27Speaker 8: cause we know we make a billion dollars.
- 31:29Speaker 6: Everybody come and look for us, say pee, you're gonna
- 31:31Speaker 6: do for the hood?
- 31:33Speaker 10: Let me.
- 31:34Speaker 6: I'm gonna tell y'all straight.
- 31:35Speaker 8: Y'all ain't went to one clubhouse own and you don't
- 31:38Speaker 8: even know how you look.
- 31:39Speaker 6: Nobody know his name or nothing.
- 31:41Speaker 8: I know his name one of them, Paul david But
- 31:44Speaker 8: guess what, Paul Davidson.
- 31:45Speaker 6: But y'all haven't said nothing.
- 31:47Speaker 8: Y'all haven't said, come on, put some stuff back in
- 31:52Speaker 8: our communities, cause you won't even know where to go
- 31:54Speaker 8: to do it.
- 31:55Speaker 6: Over say think about we keep.
- 31:57Speaker 8: Doing that, That's what I'm saying, and.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Realize that we the resource. We are the bag.
- 32:03Speaker 10: They say security bags get bag, but we are the
- 32:05Speaker 10: bag and we Hip hop is a perfect example. You
- 32:08Speaker 10: go back to hip hop and its inception when it
- 32:10Speaker 10: came out, when it start to pop, you know, the
- 32:12Speaker 10: community gave it away basically because we didn't create any
- 32:17Speaker 10: businesses around the genius and innovation of the youth in
- 32:21Speaker 10: the inner city, so others came into the community saying, hey,
- 32:24Speaker 10: this is genius. Let's make some turntables and allow them
- 32:27Speaker 10: to do that. That can allow them to scratch the record,
- 32:29Speaker 10: blend the record back and forth. Let's make drum machines
- 32:31Speaker 10: that can sample that little segment in the classic so
- 32:34Speaker 10: they can wrap over it. And they came in and
- 32:36Speaker 10: they created an entire economy around hip hop ten billion
- 32:40Speaker 10: dollars a year in the US alone. Ten billion a year.
- 32:43Speaker 10: We see in less than one percent of the culture itself,
- 32:47Speaker 10: you know, so he is one percent, right, We gotta
- 32:51Speaker 10: we gotta start creating businesses around the business, like with
- 32:53Speaker 10: raps snacks. You look at rabitsacks, it's the same thing.
- 32:55Speaker 10: People say, Okay, this is chips, this chips. No, it's packaging,
- 32:58Speaker 10: it's graphics. These are all businesses manufacturing. You can create
- 33:02Speaker 10: a manufacturing business and helped manufacture some of these potato
- 33:06Speaker 10: chips and poodles and everything else.
- 33:09Speaker 6: You know.
- 33:09Speaker 10: You can put a group together, buy a manufacturer company.
- 33:12Speaker 10: Let me at like he said, acquiring companies. Acquire manufacturer company,
- 33:16Speaker 10: and now.
- 33:16Speaker 6: You produce it.
- 33:17Speaker 8: The more wise we are fred to hear the truth.
- 33:21Speaker 8: Because everybody on Clubhouse or Pete tripping, no a pei tripping.
- 33:24Speaker 6: He educated y'all.
- 33:25Speaker 8: Y'all just wanted somewhere where y'all can argue with each
- 33:28Speaker 8: other and be bad at let's be out of you.
- 33:31Speaker 8: But I'm saying it's some good James, it's some great
- 33:33Speaker 8: things all that. But at the same time, our culture
- 33:37Speaker 8: is looking at the little mustard seed and not looking
- 33:39Speaker 8: at the tree. The tree is this is a billion
- 33:42Speaker 8: dollar company that was created in seven months.
- 33:45Speaker 7: Well yeah, but that's why I want to jump in
- 33:47Speaker 7: because if you think about these investment companies, right, you
- 33:50Speaker 7: know they started out Clubhouse, So how.
- 33:52Speaker 6: Much money twelve million dollars?
- 33:55Speaker 7: Twelve million dollars, right, So you start out with twelve
- 33:57Speaker 7: million dollars and they say they evaluates is what a billion,
- 34:02Speaker 7: bigging dollars right in seven months? All right, So if
- 34:04Speaker 7: everybody is familiar with the stock market, right, we're talking
- 34:07Speaker 7: about the stock market.
- 34:08Speaker 6: Stop markets.
- 34:09Speaker 7: They the brands and the stocks use the advance off
- 34:13Speaker 7: what news. Right, So the same people that are putting
- 34:17Speaker 7: that press release out that they work for X amount
- 34:20Speaker 7: of dollars or the same people behind Clubhouse. So what
- 34:24Speaker 7: they're doing is that they creating they create news for
- 34:27Speaker 7: everybody come right, even higher and everybody ask them come
- 34:31Speaker 7: in and say, oh, I want to be invested in Clubhouse. Really,
- 34:35Speaker 7: but you know and see, so that's the game we
- 34:37Speaker 7: got to understand because they playing a game with us.
- 34:40Speaker 7: We really don't understand.
- 34:44Speaker 8: Were playing check us why they're playing chess. Now, I'm
- 34:48Speaker 8: gonna only say I'm making y'all think we gotta start
- 34:50Speaker 8: playing chess. That's what we got to start doing as
- 34:53Speaker 8: a culture, because we only see I got something I
- 34:56Speaker 8: could talk on, I could be That's why I say
- 34:58Speaker 8: we just made another one in them a billionaire.
- 35:02Speaker 6: And you gotta look at it.
- 35:03Speaker 8: If that company is evaluated right now at a billion dollars,
- 35:08Speaker 8: it's really on the stock market side, gonna be worth
- 35:11Speaker 8: one hundred billion. And that's what we're saying educating us.
- 35:14Speaker 8: So we're not even seeing that because we just want
- 35:17Speaker 8: to see, oh, this is what it is. And I'm
- 35:19Speaker 8: just telling y'all, if one of us were to name
- 35:22Speaker 8: the business club House, well it's a club, why we
- 35:26Speaker 8: gonna do like, we would have had a thousand different
- 35:28Speaker 8: things to say, why this's not gonna work. So you're
- 35:32Speaker 8: not even looking at the technology. I'm just saying we
- 35:34Speaker 8: need to wake up. I'm just waking my culture up
- 35:36Speaker 8: and educating them. Now, whoever don't.
- 35:39Speaker 6: Like it, it's cool, the true hurt. I get it.
- 35:41Speaker 8: So you can go do what you gotta do. I'm
- 35:42Speaker 8: just saying we need to create. So we can't do
- 35:44Speaker 8: another clubhouse. It's not gonna be unique, it's not gonna work.
- 35:47Speaker 8: I'm just saying, we got to create that, and we
- 35:49Speaker 8: can't support clubhouse because it's another man that created a
- 35:52Speaker 8: business and it's something that we all use.
- 35:55Speaker 6: That's cool. I'm cool with that.
- 35:57Speaker 8: But I'm just saying, now we have to invent than
- 36:00Speaker 8: us and support us with the next technology that we
- 36:03Speaker 8: come up with.
- 36:04Speaker 6: That's what it's all about. So that's that's all the
- 36:06Speaker 6: thing I'm saying.
- 36:07Speaker 9: That Boss Up this dog.
- 36:09Speaker 10: Boss Up is one of the first social media investment
- 36:12Speaker 10: platforms that's strictly for learning. We launched this at last
- 36:17Speaker 10: year in April, and you can go on. It's like Instagram,
- 36:21Speaker 10: Me's robin Hood. You go on, you set up a
- 36:23Speaker 10: profile just like you would on Instagram. You can follow
- 36:26Speaker 10: people and you get a million dollars in stimulated money,
- 36:30Speaker 10: and it follows the stock market in real time. It
- 36:32Speaker 10: has the ultimate investment guide to teach you all the
- 36:35Speaker 10: terms as you go, so you can learn as you go.
- 36:38Speaker 10: And the the amazing thing about it is the algorithm
- 36:41Speaker 10: lets the top performer portfolios turn to the top of
- 36:44Speaker 10: your feed, so you seeing what works immediately, you can
- 36:47Speaker 10: copy and past somebody's entire portfolio into yours and you
- 36:52Speaker 10: instantly making money. You could take your real money now
- 36:54Speaker 10: and put it into these stocks because you see it
- 36:57Speaker 10: working already. They're beating the stop our gurus. We have
- 37:00Speaker 10: gourgu of the week. The top performing portfolios pop up.
- 37:03Speaker 10: They outperforming this market, the S and P by like
- 37:06Speaker 10: sixty nine kid is on their outperforming SMP and the
- 37:11Speaker 10: dial by about three nine percent.
- 37:15Speaker 6: Insane.
- 37:15Speaker 9: So the platform is like a digital version of.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Yes, absolutely, So why is we what we gotta What
- 37:23Speaker 4: we gotta do is you know, just the big show
- 37:26Speaker 4: when it comes to financial literacy, but we got the
- 37:28Speaker 4: biggest show when it comes to stock called market Mondays,
- 37:31Speaker 4: so marketing Monday Market.
- 37:36Speaker 6: So we got we gotta run this back with market.
- 37:39Speaker 8: Y'all got to realize, though, think about it. For our culture,
- 37:43Speaker 8: this conversation ain't sexy, but it should be because everybody
- 37:46Speaker 8: trying to get to the bag.
- 37:48Speaker 3: It's getting it.
- 37:49Speaker 8: But that's what I'm saying, holding these conversations and letting
- 37:53Speaker 8: our culture know how big it is because we're not
- 37:55Speaker 8: educated to this. You know, times are changing, and they
- 37:58Speaker 8: saying there's a take changing that are goal and if
- 38:00Speaker 8: you're not prepared.
- 38:01Speaker 6: In twenty twenty two, you either gonna be rich or poor.
- 38:08Speaker 8: So we're telling y'all right now, so you know, if
- 38:11Speaker 8: you're just popping bottles, you hanging in the club, you
- 38:14Speaker 8: know everybody got twenty four hours.
- 38:15Speaker 6: You just spending your money.
- 38:17Speaker 8: You're not investing your money, and you're not gonna have
- 38:19Speaker 8: no money a year from now, ten years from now,
- 38:22Speaker 8: so you're gonna be in panic mode. The same way
- 38:25Speaker 8: this pandemic has put a lot of people in PA.
- 38:27Speaker 8: Some people made people go create business. That's what I
- 38:30Speaker 8: love about it too. So you look at these hard times,
- 38:34Speaker 8: it made people start thinking. And I hope that now,
- 38:37Speaker 8: even from the hip hop culture, that everybody that's watching
- 38:40Speaker 8: this saying, you know what, let me understand what they're saying,
- 38:43Speaker 8: let me take notes, let me study this stuff, let
- 38:46Speaker 8: me better myself, because.
- 38:47Speaker 6: That's all they do.
- 38:49Speaker 8: They're giving this information to their culture and they people
- 38:52Speaker 8: and they said, I'd rather be around one of them
- 38:55Speaker 8: that I don't like. It makes some money with them,
- 38:59Speaker 8: but we rather hate on each other and say I
- 39:02Speaker 8: can't mess with you because I don't like you. So y'all,
- 39:05Speaker 8: y'all have to realize it's us self hate. So we're
- 39:08Speaker 8: trying to give you the game, just like the Boss
- 39:09Speaker 8: Up program, that's for free. We ain't charging nobody nothing,
- 39:12Speaker 8: So I don't get why people are not by the
- 39:15Speaker 8: millions coming on saying listen.
- 39:17Speaker 6: Understand this, this be a part of this. Even with you.
- 39:19Speaker 6: Look at the master Piece review channel.
- 39:22Speaker 8: We're helping people like most people charge people to put
- 39:25Speaker 8: them on their page, and we're like, no, man, we
- 39:27Speaker 8: want you guys. I do this for free, and people
- 39:30Speaker 8: still question why you do? What do you want me
- 39:32Speaker 8: to do?
- 39:33Speaker 6: Let's be real. You want to own me, you want
- 39:35Speaker 6: the ice Cream Master. That's what I changed. It's crazy.
- 39:47Speaker 8: I showed y'all that this is for real, that I
- 39:50Speaker 8: come from the ghetto. I come from the struggle. And
- 39:53Speaker 8: look where I'm at right now. Follow me on that journey,
- 39:56Speaker 8: y'all see, I'm getting some real money. We're not sitting
- 39:58Speaker 8: around there waiting on them. We are creating business creating
- 40:01Speaker 8: opportunity for our people. And I just think that we
- 40:05Speaker 8: have to stop that self hate because with me and
- 40:07Speaker 8: jamesung about the other day, it's like, if you're not
- 40:11Speaker 8: happy with yourself, we can't help you. If you got money,
- 40:13Speaker 8: you should be happy like they got dudes got money,
- 40:17Speaker 8: sitting around with frowns on they fl I'm like, man,
- 40:19Speaker 8: what's wrong with you?
- 40:20Speaker 6: Man? I don't know.
- 40:21Speaker 8: You know, people wish they had what you have and
- 40:25Speaker 8: you still not happy. So I just think that we
- 40:28Speaker 8: have to realize moving forward, if we're gonna grow, we're
- 40:31Speaker 8: doing this to educate our people. Why not come on
- 40:34Speaker 8: this journey with us? Why gotta be all this said,
- 40:37Speaker 8: trying to figure this and that out?
- 40:39Speaker 6: Like, no, what just do?
- 40:40Speaker 8: Let me tell you something. We know one thing. If
- 40:42Speaker 8: you do right, God to keep blessing you. And that's
- 40:44Speaker 8: what's been happening for us, you know, like I can't
- 40:47Speaker 8: talk about nobody. I changed my life. I'm doing right.
- 40:50Speaker 8: If you don't like that, that's cool. I really don't
- 40:53Speaker 8: want you. I told my home boy earlier. I said, no, what,
- 40:55Speaker 8: I just want good people around me. This ain't about
- 40:58Speaker 8: all of us. And now this part of my life
- 41:00Speaker 8: I told you Jay, we got to enjoy our like
- 41:02Speaker 8: this journey we on, We're gonna have some fun, enjoy
- 41:05Speaker 8: ourselves with good people around us. Now, if you're negative,
- 41:08Speaker 8: we're cutting you off because you know, we come from together.
- 41:10Speaker 6: I don't off for real, like you know. So I
- 41:18Speaker 6: have changed, but I have.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Absolutely, really quickly, because I'm thinking about the marketing and
- 41:27Speaker 2: I'm looking at our culture being celebrated in the marketing
- 41:30Speaker 2: and the branding of it. So I'm wondering, when you
- 41:33Speaker 2: approach an artists, how's that relationship.
- 41:36Speaker 6: Is it a licensing situation or is.
- 41:38Speaker 9: Do they get equity by the amount of chips thugs?
- 41:40Speaker 9: So how does that work?
- 41:41Speaker 7: Well, you know, it's it's basically a partnership. You know,
- 41:44Speaker 7: I've done a lot of you know, deals for artists,
- 41:47Speaker 7: you know, and you know one thing I've found with
- 41:51Speaker 7: artists man first and foremost, they gotta like what they're doing.
- 41:53Speaker 6: Number one.
- 41:54Speaker 7: You know, they know some of the guys that's gonna
- 41:56Speaker 7: take the money, the partnership is not gonna be successful,
- 41:59Speaker 7: right So, you know, I said when I we launched
- 42:02Speaker 7: Rap Snacks, it's gonna be a partnership with the artists.
- 42:05Speaker 7: You know, you promote the brand. We sell it what
- 42:08Speaker 7: I make, you made, you gotta be yeah, partners, if
- 42:12Speaker 7: you're our partner, we don't want we don't want you
- 42:14Speaker 7: to be part of it.
- 42:14Speaker 8: I don't want you to be man because now you're saying, look,
- 42:17Speaker 8: I only made this, what we only made that?
- 42:24Speaker 6: Don't talk back? Right, Yeah, they don't talk back. We
- 42:30Speaker 6: put them on the shelf.
- 42:31Speaker 8: So guess what if we make fifty dollars, you make
- 42:34Speaker 8: fifty dollars, you know, and if you spend your fifty
- 42:36Speaker 8: dollars and be mad at us that you don't have it,
- 42:38Speaker 8: that's on you.
- 42:39Speaker 7: You know, it's crazy too because the bosses in my
- 42:41Speaker 7: office about a month ago, you know, he was like James,
- 42:45Speaker 7: if they don't promote the brand, get rid of them.
- 42:51Speaker 7: And it's shoe. You know what I'm saying. The bottom
- 42:53Speaker 7: line is that you gotta want to be here. You
- 42:55Speaker 7: got know, we got love, we gotta love the brand.
- 42:57Speaker 7: You gotta love to want to represent it, and you're
- 42:59Speaker 7: gonna make money. Well yeah, I mean this is crazy
- 43:02Speaker 7: too because now you've got this situation where there's no
- 43:05Speaker 7: show money out there, you know, and you know I
- 43:07Speaker 7: told these allays all the time. Don't be one dimensional
- 43:10Speaker 7: because it can come and go, you know what I mean,
- 43:12Speaker 7: And you're not gonna be hot forever. It's like a
- 43:15Speaker 7: you know, a banana pill going bad. Eventually, it's gonna
- 43:19Speaker 7: go bad, you know, So you got to be prepared
- 43:21Speaker 7: for that, you know, and be diversified and make that
- 43:25Speaker 7: transition into being a business person because a lot of
- 43:28Speaker 7: times the artists, man, you know, it's unfortunate because you know,
- 43:32Speaker 7: if I had this company twenty five, twenty six years,
- 43:35Speaker 7: I can tell y'all went through two hundred different artists
- 43:37Speaker 7: and I might not be able name but two three
- 43:39Speaker 7: of them.
- 43:39Speaker 6: That's relevant right now.
- 43:42Speaker 9: So, I mean I noticed that you guys, obviously you
- 43:44Speaker 9: had artists crazy.
- 43:45Speaker 2: But I just shout to Pinky on Atlanta. I saw
- 43:47Speaker 2: that slave Vegan has a Yeah, so are we moving
- 43:50Speaker 2: towards the entrepreneurs as well?
- 43:51Speaker 8: Now?
- 43:52Speaker 3: No?
- 43:52Speaker 6: I you know, I just love Pinky's movement. Man.
- 43:54Speaker 7: You know, she's a positive system. Man that's doing something.
- 43:58Speaker 7: You know, she her energy is very infectionous. And you know,
- 44:02Speaker 7: we've we've had seasonings that were you know, basically Vegan anyway.
- 44:07Speaker 7: You know, so I'm like, yo, it makes a you know,
- 44:09Speaker 7: it's like a you know, it's a part that it's
- 44:12Speaker 7: a perfect marriage, but it's something that's evins. He's going
- 44:14Speaker 7: to grow. You know, we want to be like Pink.
- 44:17Speaker 7: We're not ready for you know, we want to start
- 44:19Speaker 7: and grow with you as we grow.
- 44:21Speaker 6: Love.
- 44:21Speaker 4: I love that because can I can? I can I
- 44:23Speaker 4: give my opinion on something. So I told United Masters this,
- 44:27Speaker 4: I told your Button this, I told fact Jodas. I'm
- 44:30Speaker 4: telling anybody that would listen to this. There's a movement
- 44:32Speaker 4: of financial literacy in our culture right now. It's a snowball.
- 44:35Speaker 4: A lot of people, especially big corporations, they're still not
- 44:38Speaker 4: really aware of what's happening. But the snowball is quickly
- 44:41Speaker 4: becoming an avalanche. And the financial literacy people, the entrepreneurs,
- 44:45Speaker 4: the investors, they are going to be the next rock stars.
- 44:49Speaker 4: The President is already said for that. The first financial
- 44:51Speaker 4: literacy superstar was Donald Trump. If you think about it,
- 44:54Speaker 4: Mark Cuban is a businessman. He became a celebrity on
- 44:57Speaker 4: Shark Tank and owning the NBA team and making him
- 44:59Speaker 4: put Gary Vee. It just hasn't been somebody black that
- 45:02Speaker 4: that had nothing to do with sports or entertainment pretty
- 45:05Speaker 4: soon that's gonna be the new wave. And a lot
- 45:07Speaker 4: of these corporations aren't paying attention to that. They still
- 45:09Speaker 4: focus too much, in my opinion, on entertainers and rappers.
- 45:12Speaker 4: That's great, but the entrepreneur's career lives in perpetuity. It
- 45:18Speaker 4: can be passed down for generations. I don't care how
- 45:21Speaker 4: fast you you could, you could run, Eventually you're gonna.
- 45:24Speaker 3: Have to stop.
- 45:25Speaker 8: Well, look look at this, y'all. Product outweighs talent. That's
- 45:29Speaker 8: why we are preparing the next generation. You look at
- 45:32Speaker 8: me and my son Romeo and the people that's in here,
- 45:36Speaker 8: that's sitting there. We are preparing the next generation. It's
- 45:39Speaker 8: not just about us. And we tell it not only
- 45:43Speaker 8: entertainers this, but at the least too.
- 45:45Speaker 6: Because a lot of that.
- 45:46Speaker 8: I don't care whether we try to do business with
- 45:47Speaker 8: Kawhi Leonard, whoever, all those guys that came up and
- 45:51Speaker 8: they say, yeah, we want to do business with you,
- 45:53Speaker 8: but then they get caught up with basketball or they
- 45:55Speaker 8: get caught up with football. They don't have the time.
- 45:57Speaker 8: And I say, you know what, one day you're gonna
- 45:59Speaker 8: have the time. You know what I'm saying, one day
- 46:02Speaker 8: you're gonna have the time.
- 46:03Speaker 6: Remember that I stopped for you.
- 46:05Speaker 8: I stopped for you and showed you everything because people
- 46:07Speaker 8: always said a peep show me the game.
- 46:09Speaker 6: I'm giving these guys a game for free.
- 46:11Speaker 8: I sit down with I mean, I didn't even sit
- 46:13Speaker 8: down with Paul George. But look, man, you can't play
- 46:16Speaker 8: basketball forever. I know you're making a lot of money
- 46:18Speaker 8: doing this, but you better think about because that look
- 46:21Speaker 8: at what we're doing.
- 46:22Speaker 6: Because I was at the height of my career and.
- 46:25Speaker 8: Not realizing music. I don't care you, Michael Jackson, whatever,
- 46:28Speaker 8: that's gonna stop. And so I said, proud of out
- 46:33Speaker 8: Weigh's talent, And it's the truth. Like answer, Mom and
- 46:37Speaker 8: Uncle Ben been on the shelves for one hundred and
- 46:39Speaker 8: thirty years and it was pure mockery. They never ran
- 46:42Speaker 8: up no court, they never did no music, none.
- 46:44Speaker 6: Of that stuff.
- 46:45Speaker 8: It's still in the stores today and it's the only
- 46:48Speaker 8: reason they taking it out because we're creating products and
- 46:51Speaker 8: brands that we could pass down for generations.
- 46:53Speaker 6: And I feel like right now, me and James gonna
- 46:55Speaker 6: be the rock stars of this.
- 46:57Speaker 8: So if you look at African American people that written
- 47:00Speaker 8: business and brands, we at the forefront because we're not
- 47:03Speaker 8: afraid if we taking a page out of Reginald Lewis book.
- 47:06Speaker 8: When you look at Regid Luid, you say, why should
- 47:08Speaker 8: white guys have all the fun? Why should they only
- 47:10Speaker 8: be billionaires? This guy did this in the nineteen seventies.
- 47:13Speaker 8: We got our act together. This ain't about no money,
- 47:15Speaker 8: and this is about I got a billion dollars worth
- 47:17Speaker 8: of knowledge.
- 47:18Speaker 6: I could lose all the money in the world.
- 47:19Speaker 8: I'm gonna keep getting it back because I got the knowledge,
- 47:22Speaker 8: and I think that's what we're missing.
- 47:24Speaker 7: Well, PE's that's the key too, because as he's talking about,
- 47:28Speaker 7: you know, becoming the financial guys, becoming the next rock stars. Yes,
- 47:31Speaker 7: it's more about delivering that information and how to get
- 47:35Speaker 7: to become that, you know, So the more availability we make,
- 47:39Speaker 7: you know, on the landscape of you know, how to
- 47:41Speaker 7: understand how to get to that point financially because you know,
- 47:46Speaker 7: you know Mark Cuban, you know, all these guys were
- 47:49Speaker 7: basically they were at a young age, you know. You know,
- 47:54Speaker 7: he was a visionary about you know, the Internet, you
- 47:57Speaker 7: know tiv on Ny.
- 48:00Speaker 6: But I remember what Mark did.
- 48:02Speaker 8: Mark Cuban brought broadcast dot com. So they gave him
- 48:06Speaker 8: a billion dollars for that. Now, let's be honest, now
- 48:11Speaker 8: here rock stars, that company, even Broadcast dot Com probably
- 48:15Speaker 8: not work one hundred thousand.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Dollars, they says, the worst there on internet history. So
- 48:20Speaker 4: that's what I mean.
- 48:21Speaker 7: But yeah, but again going back to what I said before,
- 48:24Speaker 7: when they announced that it's you know, it's smoking.
- 48:27Speaker 6: It smokes cleans.
- 48:28Speaker 7: It's all smokes cleans, right, you know, And it's crazy
- 48:31Speaker 7: because it's really almost like pyramid schemes that are that's
- 48:34Speaker 7: been happening for years.
- 48:36Speaker 6: They get away for it. We probably went to jail.
- 48:38Speaker 8: For guess nobody's been educating now with culture own this,
- 48:44Speaker 8: so all they religious want is the nice car, so
- 48:47Speaker 8: they don't get it, Like, what do you want more
- 48:48Speaker 8: than the car?
- 48:49Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 48:52Speaker 8: But I'm just saying for us as a culture, knowing
- 48:56Speaker 8: the bigger picture behind what's going on in this final
- 49:01Speaker 8: and you know, and we all talk about, oh, you know,
- 49:04Speaker 8: we think just because they send us to some of
- 49:07Speaker 8: the most of me some of the most prestigious schools
- 49:10Speaker 8: in the world, we think that.
- 49:13Speaker 6: We could do this. It's not even about that because
- 49:16Speaker 6: I know a.
- 49:16Speaker 8: Lot of people that I know grew up with they
- 49:19Speaker 8: went to all these big time schools.
- 49:20Speaker 6: They never did none of the stuff they went to school.
- 49:23Speaker 3: But yet.
- 49:28Speaker 7: Can speak to that, you know sometimes. You know, I
- 49:31Speaker 7: went to you Changing University, which is the oldest black
- 49:33Speaker 7: school in the country, you know, and for me, you know,
- 49:38Speaker 7: as I look back on it, it was really important for
- 49:40Speaker 7: me at the time because not only that, you know,
- 49:44Speaker 7: it was more of the experiences that I had coming
- 49:47Speaker 7: from inner city of Philadelphia and going to a black
- 49:49Speaker 7: school and meeting people that looked like me that were
- 49:53Speaker 7: on the same path. I'm trying to do something good,

- 52:46Speaker 7: All you need nowadays. College is not the most important
- 52:52Speaker 7: thing in the world. One thing is in the nurture
- 52:55Speaker 7: of those kids at a young age. You know why
- 52:57Speaker 7: is the sun is building computers right now?
- 53:00Speaker 10: From a scratch self talk colder saw itself how of
- 53:04Speaker 10: cold programs games, you know, the back end of it,
- 53:08Speaker 10: you know, and he's building high power computers man, you know.
- 53:12Speaker 10: And at the same time, you know, for me, you know,
- 53:15Speaker 10: one side of it that I'm on it. I'm like, yo,
- 53:17Speaker 10: you just used the A M D CPU. That company
- 53:21Speaker 10: evaluates it that its games was four thousand, five hundred
- 53:25Speaker 10: and eighty percent in the over the past five years.
- 53:29Speaker 6: You know.
- 53:29Speaker 10: So on the other side, you need to make sure
- 53:32Speaker 10: you got some stock in those companies that you spend
- 53:34Speaker 10: the money in, you know. So it's very important. We
- 53:37Speaker 10: don't get that if that side of the game when
- 53:40Speaker 10: we're coming up.
- 53:41Speaker 3: So it's.
- 53:47Speaker 5: I'm like, this is my guy from the rock Stars.
- 53:54Speaker 7: So we talked about him talking about it, talking about
- 53:57Speaker 7: you early brother.
- 53:58Speaker 6: Yeah, we're talking about Early.
- 53:59Speaker 9: Yes, it's just kind of how we travel.
- 54:03Speaker 6: New Orleans.
- 54:05Speaker 10: It's more than the information that that that he'd be given,
- 54:08Speaker 10: that he'd be given the culture. It's invaluable, man, it's
- 54:11Speaker 10: priceless because we come from five hundred credit score.
- 54:14Speaker 6: Communities, you know what I mean.
- 54:16Speaker 10: So, you know, one of the first things we need
- 54:18Speaker 10: to be learning is the business of you you know,
- 54:20Speaker 10: your first business is you. If you can't manage your
- 54:23Speaker 10: credit score, you can't get your things to that part
- 54:25Speaker 10: of your life together.
- 54:26Speaker 6: Is could be hard for.
- 54:27Speaker 10: You to manage a business or get money from a bank,
- 54:30Speaker 10: to get a loan to do something else, you know
- 54:32Speaker 10: what I mean. You have to deal with you first.
- 54:34Speaker 10: That's the first business, the business of you. So all
- 54:36Speaker 10: of those things credit repair, uh, you know, basic finance.
- 54:40Speaker 10: People don't know how to balance a check book, you
- 54:42Speaker 10: know what I mean.
- 54:43Speaker 8: So you really don't even understand imparts of an LLC
- 54:46Speaker 8: and a corporation. They really don't understand just the basic
- 54:50Speaker 8: step of everybody know we was raised now come from nords,
- 54:53Speaker 8: just raised.
- 54:53Speaker 6: Put everything in my name or put it in my
- 54:55Speaker 6: mama name, you know what I'm saying. Let's be honest.
- 55:00Speaker 8: They don't understand everything that go with this. And so
- 55:04Speaker 8: that's why. So for me being from New Orleans, y'all know,
- 55:06Speaker 8: I grew up in a project and I grew up
- 55:08Speaker 8: in a poor size.
- 55:09Speaker 6: So I wanted to go to white school to see
- 55:11Speaker 6: how they think. I went to.
- 55:12Speaker 8: University of Huges. I just got time, like I'm not learning,
- 55:15Speaker 8: I need to go see something else. And I'm so
- 55:18Speaker 8: blessed to be able to play basketball, just to get
- 55:20Speaker 8: in there and just to see how they think. And
- 55:23Speaker 8: when I start seeing how they think and how they
- 55:25Speaker 8: prepare their kids.
- 55:26Speaker 6: And what they are doing.
- 55:28Speaker 8: So you know, my grandmother sent me off to school
- 55:30Speaker 8: for five hours, say baby, go on, do.
- 55:32Speaker 6: What you gotta do.
- 55:33Speaker 8: I'm like five hours, you know, but I went made
- 55:37Speaker 8: it work and I got a chance to see the
- 55:39Speaker 8: other side of the role. So I just think all
- 55:42Speaker 8: of our backgrounds and what we the Ben drew, I
- 55:44Speaker 8: feel like we experts at this game. You know, think
- 55:48Speaker 8: about it as a black man, you know, just we've
- 55:49Speaker 8: been in business. We made money, lost it, got it back,
- 55:52Speaker 8: figured out how to get it back. You done fell
- 55:54Speaker 8: off the horse ten twelve times, got back up.
- 55:56Speaker 6: But that's what it's about. They did it too, but we.
- 56:00Speaker 8: Don't criticize them when they do it because when they
- 56:03Speaker 8: fall off the horse, they just like you know what,
- 56:05Speaker 8: those guys will be back.
- 56:06Speaker 6: They hustlers. When we fall off the horse, we like
- 56:09Speaker 6: all he done. What happened smoking.
- 56:15Speaker 8: Knowing BM James I BM was a big mold time
- 56:19Speaker 8: belief dollar company.
- 56:20Speaker 6: They fell off, what happened? They went figured something else
- 56:23Speaker 6: and got into other companies.
- 56:24Speaker 10: Yeah, technology, I be in where they tracking food from
- 56:28Speaker 10: the where it was, uh was put on the truck.
- 56:32Speaker 4: You from the you know how fresh it was to
- 56:35Speaker 4: did was the instar?
- 56:40Speaker 6: Yeah? You know.
- 56:43Speaker 7: But what's you know what's important too is and me
- 56:45Speaker 7: Andwhis always talked about We were always talking about this.
- 56:48Speaker 6: You know.
- 56:48Speaker 7: When my first job out of college was with a
- 56:51Speaker 7: company called Johnson Products, right, there was a black company,
- 56:55Speaker 7: you know, and I was sitting next to mister Johnson
- 56:59Speaker 7: who owned the company, right, So it was always always
- 57:03Speaker 7: it was he was. It was almost a paid internship.
- 57:06Speaker 7: He was a paid mentor because I got to see
- 57:08Speaker 7: a vision of the guy who at that time onto
- 57:12Speaker 7: multi magatile company, right, and he was in every store
- 57:16Speaker 7: in the country. If you go into any store now
- 57:19Speaker 7: with haircare, right, they have a two foot section to
- 57:23Speaker 7: the to a twenty four foot section and every store
- 57:26Speaker 7: you go into is you can buy black haircare, right,
- 57:30Speaker 7: you know, and you talk about that. So that was
- 57:33Speaker 7: the mentorship that I got. That's that's what gave me
- 57:37Speaker 7: the vision to understanding how developed products, what retailer was about,
- 57:42Speaker 7: and how to put it out for the product out there.
- 57:44Speaker 7: So as we produce more of us right and have
- 57:47Speaker 7: more people coming behind us. That's you know, that's that's
- 57:51Speaker 7: gonna change the game for everybody.
- 57:52Speaker 10: You know, that's important because the mentor ship Johnson was
- 57:59Speaker 10: meant to or by Samuel B.
- 58:01Speaker 6: Fuller. Sammy B.
- 58:02Speaker 10: Fuller was one of the richest black men in the
- 58:05Speaker 10: country in the nineteen sixties during the Civil rights movement.
- 58:08Speaker 10: He was underwriting a lot of what Martin Luther Kingingan
- 58:11Speaker 10: was doing. A lot of people didn't even know that,
- 58:13Speaker 10: you know. So he came to Martin Luther king in
- 58:15Speaker 10: him and said, Yo, Okay, the bus is going bankrupt,
- 58:19Speaker 10: the boycott is working, Let's buy it. He wanted to
- 58:22Speaker 10: buy the bus, but the civil rights leaders said, you know,
- 58:26Speaker 10: that's not what their mission was. He was like, let's
- 58:29Speaker 10: buy it. We can employ our people, we can put.
- 58:31Speaker 6: Them Mike, he got it.
- 58:32Speaker 4: He got that's that's a beautiful So you're saying that
- 58:34Speaker 4: the bus the bus boycott, somebody was because I always
- 58:37Speaker 4: that was my whole thing with the bus boycott, and
- 58:39Speaker 4: must respect to our ancestors. You can never disrespect anything
- 58:41Speaker 4: that they did. They worked with the information that they had.
- 58:43Speaker 4: But my hole thing was like, like even when Malcolm
- 58:45Speaker 4: X was saying, like, it's not about boycott and a hotel,
- 58:49Speaker 4: it's about starting your own hotel, and always always resonated
- 58:53Speaker 4: with me with the bus boycott.
- 58:54Speaker 8: I'm like, they didn't have the information. But what I'm saying,
- 58:57Speaker 8: so that's what y'all got to look at. That's why
- 58:59Speaker 8: we have to share. That is information. We don't want
- 59:02Speaker 8: to do that because we're so afraid of We brought
- 59:05Speaker 8: up in a dope man mentality, which kingpin mentality. Everybody
- 59:10Speaker 8: want to be a kingpin. Nobody want. You know, back
- 59:13Speaker 8: in the day, used to have guys in the hood
- 59:14Speaker 8: be like, you know what, say little dude, this is
- 59:16Speaker 8: what you do. Don't do what I do because I
- 59:18Speaker 8: want you to be better than me.
- 59:19Speaker 6: We don't do that no more.
- 59:20Speaker 8: Here shades information lod because if you know, you're gonna
- 59:23Speaker 8: walk up there and crash and burn. You know, if
- 59:26Speaker 8: you tell somebody the truth and if they don't get it,
- 59:29Speaker 8: that's fine, if they just don't want it.
- 59:32Speaker 6: But we're saying, shat is information. Give them my opportunity.
- 59:35Speaker 8: We developing prisons, We're developing all these different places for
- 59:41Speaker 8: us to go to instead of developing educational places. To
- 59:45Speaker 8: put us into to prepare because if we don't do
- 59:48Speaker 8: this together, we're gonna lose. Like, let's be honest, you
- 59:50Speaker 8: could say that our ancestors back in the days, they
- 59:53Speaker 8: didn't understand how to share information because they didn't have
- 59:57Speaker 8: time to learn. They fighting for their life, you know,
- 59:59Speaker 8: was a civil rights movement. We're fighting for freedom. We're saying,
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: these people then paid the way from us for us
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: to be here and do what we're able to do now.
- 1:00:07Speaker 8: So that's why I love them. You know, this is
- 1:00:09Speaker 8: my passion, this is my purpose to educate the next generation.
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: That's all I want to do.
- 1:00:15Speaker 6: Look that part of the foundation, yes, yes, absolutely.
- 1:00:22Speaker 10: One of the aims of the of the RAPS Next
- 1:00:24Speaker 10: Foundation is to triangulate the culture, the entrepreneurs in the community.
- 1:00:28Speaker 10: You know, because if we all connect, all entrepreneurs in
- 1:00:32Speaker 10: the culture that's doing theything function at a high level
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: in the game. Connect with the HBCUs we and the
- 1:00:41Speaker 10: and the community strong and powerful, we can really move
- 1:00:45Speaker 10: the needle. You know, just just go back you know
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: to post pre integration. Pre integration, we were building. We
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: had communities that were prosperous all over the United States,
- 1:00:56Speaker 10: not just Black Wall Street. We talk about Black Wall
- 1:00:58Speaker 10: Street all the time, right here in Miami Town, just
- 1:01:00Speaker 10: up the street, establishing with eighteen ninety six in South Carolina, Richmond, Virginia,
- 1:01:07Speaker 10: Magguelina Walker. Magguelina Walker was the first woman in the
- 1:01:11Speaker 10: United States to have her own bank, not black woman,
- 1:01:14Speaker 10: the first woman, and she just happened to be black
- 1:01:17Speaker 10: with our own bank in nineteen thirteen, nineteen thirteen. She
- 1:01:20Speaker 10: built this bank all the way up. It lastly went
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: all the way to two thousand and six. Now that's
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: that's wealth, that's building generational wealth. That's no how, that's information.
- 1:01:30Speaker 10: And it all started as a benevolent society. She said, Okay,
- 1:01:33Speaker 10: what can I do to help my community? So with
- 1:01:35Speaker 10: the foundation, the point is to solve a problem, to
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: follow the need. You know, that's the point of entrepreneurship
- 1:01:42Speaker 10: to me, you know, to find creative ways to solve problems.
- 1:01:45Speaker 10: And we who got more problems than us?
- 1:01:48Speaker 6: I tell you all problems.
- 1:01:53Speaker 8: All the time. How does start the business? Find the problem? Exactly,
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: I'll find a problem if you look at you know,
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: we laughed at some the Latino brothers. They're on the coner,
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: they washing car. They found a problem. Like we all
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: we want to do is find a job. We just
- 1:02:07Speaker 8: want to pay bills. And that's what it's either you
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: got to know what you want to be. You want
- 1:02:11Speaker 8: to be the boss or you want to be a worker.
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: That's it, but we need both. Everybody is not put
- 1:02:17Speaker 8: here to be the boss.
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: Everybody's not college material.
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: And everybody, but everybody has a job to do because
- 1:02:23Speaker 8: if you look at what we say in this, look
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: at some of the most successful companies in the world,
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: guess what they have. It's like a car. You got
- 1:02:30Speaker 8: the engine, you got the starter, you got the battery,
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: you need all these pieces. And that's why I built.
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: Everything I do is built on a team atmosphere.
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: Let me ask you this, speaking about like looking into
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: the future, you just did a partnership with an ex
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: engineer from Tesla to create the new supercar situation.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: What's that about.
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: Well, you know what that's about giving somebody from our
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: culture and opportunity that that was a worker.
- 1:02:57Speaker 6: He's black, black try and motors. So giving a.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Guy the exposure to the world to say, you know what,
- 1:03:05Speaker 8: if they make a cause, look at what we could do.
- 1:03:08Speaker 8: This guy helped them build a lot of the Tesla Carse.
- 1:03:11Speaker 8: So I'm saying giving that guy an opportunity and seeing
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: where we could take that at so and also exposing
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: that to our people, saying, look what we understand how
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: to do. Some of us a real genius at creating things,
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: but we have nowhere to take it. So me and James,
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: our whole thing is saying, let's see the people that
- 1:03:29Speaker 8: we could find that. You know, you might have something
- 1:03:33Speaker 8: that you say, Okay, we just need to dust this off,
- 1:03:36Speaker 8: help this person out, expose this person to the world,
- 1:03:40Speaker 8: Like that's another source of revenue to help our culture
- 1:03:43Speaker 8: and our people. Give our people opportunities and jobs, and
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: also something that's made by us that we probably think
- 1:03:50Speaker 8: that we can't do that a kid in high school
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: or middle school, even in kindergarten. Right now, you know,
- 1:03:55Speaker 8: say show me a black guy that made a supercar.
- 1:03:59Speaker 8: Now now we actually lived this life and seeing it.
- 1:04:02Speaker 8: We're done seeing a black president. We'rene seeing a black
- 1:04:05Speaker 8: vice president now, like we're definitely changing the game.
- 1:04:08Speaker 4: So how long is that you envisioned before that you
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: can actually have a car, because the car is a
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: whole different type of product, a lot that goes into that.
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: Yeah, you know what, to be honest with you, we
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: investing in so many different products and so many different opportunities.
- 1:04:24Speaker 8: That's only one of many, and so that's on him.
- 1:04:28Speaker 8: Like I'm never for a person like that. I don't
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: know the car business, but I understand the marketing. I
- 1:04:33Speaker 8: understand how can I help this person? And so that's
- 1:04:37Speaker 8: what I'm doing, you know. I feel like that's what
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: my strength comeing in. If I could help expose something
- 1:04:42Speaker 8: to the world it turned into something, fine, If it don't,
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: We're gonna keep pushing till yeah.
- 1:04:48Speaker 7: But ultimately what we will do is create a management
- 1:04:51Speaker 7: team around them when we invest some money in them.
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: You know, our goal is to you know, this year
- 1:04:55Speaker 7: raise one hundred million dollars you know for our fund.
- 1:04:58Speaker 7: Also fun to be able to to promote, you know,
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: and invest in and companies such as is you know
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: that we think is unique and different in out the
- 1:05:06Speaker 7: box and we can we can you know, offer our
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: expertise and put people around him to support his growth
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: and the understanding of how to move forward with a
- 1:05:16Speaker 7: product that is something that's quality and something that can
- 1:05:19Speaker 7: you know, really competitive with a marketplace.
- 1:05:22Speaker 8: A supercar. You never imagine us creating it. It's a
- 1:05:25Speaker 8: lot of money you create a supercar. So the next
- 1:05:28Speaker 8: step is coming up with me and Jane talking about
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: the electric cars that are affordable for everybody. We need
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: to have them coming from me to have them. So
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: it's starts from there. The supercar is going to turn
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: into something else.
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: So it is boss up. Is it a venture capital firm?
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: It's everything?
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: It sounds so no, So we so let's we're starting
- 1:05:48Speaker 7: a boss up, you know, entrepreneur banking platform.
- 1:05:52Speaker 6: Okay, and on on.
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: On top of that, we're going to down create a fund,
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: one hundred million dollars fund right to invest in companies
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: such as the brother who has the you know, has
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: the car.
- 1:06:05Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: Then like again, there's a lot of other companies out
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: there that we feel like that we can invest our money.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: But in addition to that, invest our expertise, you know,
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: our knowledge, and put structure around them to support the
- 1:06:18Speaker 7: mentorship and support.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: Them that growth.
- 1:06:21Speaker 8: Because you know a lot of this stuff, you know,
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: you have people come up with all these amazing ideas,
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: but it never come to life. I just told y'all
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: the most treasures are in the graveyard. People don't get
- 1:06:31Speaker 8: a chance to finish those So we're saying we're putting
- 1:06:34Speaker 8: together fund to invest in other people ideas and bring
- 1:06:37Speaker 8: some man them ideas the life that's that's that normally
- 1:06:41Speaker 8: you'll never see happen.
- 1:06:43Speaker 10: So one of the most one of the most important
- 1:06:46Speaker 10: things about a fund for me is is that you
- 1:06:51Speaker 10: can you can allow others to come into the fund
- 1:06:54Speaker 10: as LPs or whatever you know. And when you think
- 1:06:56Speaker 10: about how a lot of these companies out here to start,
- 1:06:59Speaker 10: especially Soon Valley, when these kids leave college, the pwis
- 1:07:04Speaker 10: the predominantly white institutions. They leave and they go to
- 1:07:07Speaker 10: Silicon Valley, come up with this great idea, come up
- 1:07:10Speaker 10: with this great company that's say Uber or Lyft, you know,
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: and then they look for VC. They look for VC funding.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: They go to the tap of VC where the alumni
- 1:07:19Speaker 10: is running that VC. Another student from the same university
- 1:07:22Speaker 10: is running this VCR, right, so then they get this brand.
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: But the part that were missing is that the university
- 1:07:31Speaker 10: that they graduated from is in that fund as an LP,
- 1:07:34Speaker 10: as a limited partner. So now the university is building
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: its endowment off the genius of its students.
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: Right now.
- 1:07:42Speaker 10: Take Rapsnacks, for example, James is out of Cheney Cheney University, right,
- 1:07:47Speaker 10: James should have been able to look back to Cheney
- 1:07:49Speaker 10: when he came up with this idea, said, Yo, I'm
- 1:07:52Speaker 10: looking for funding, went to a VC that Cheney was
- 1:07:54Speaker 10: already vested in. So when Raps Snacks take take off,
- 1:07:58Speaker 10: then Cheney's endowment role. At the same time Puffy with
- 1:08:02Speaker 10: Bad Boy Entertainment.
- 1:08:04Speaker 9: Same thing.
- 1:08:05Speaker 10: The only HBCU. All these graduates from HBCUs that's doing it.
- 1:08:09Speaker 10: Starting companies should be benefiting.
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what. You picked
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: the right Dame.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Challenge wives in chaligent now because everything you're saying is
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: completely true. And it's like there's a teacher. There's a
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: professor in Stanford University who's already a billionaire, and he
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: teaches a class and he really only teaches that class
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: to find the next people to invest in. And the
- 1:08:31Speaker 4: people go to that class to pitch him the idea.
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: I think Airbnb. He invested in Airbnb. He invested a
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: bunch of them. It's like a whole pipeline of Stanford
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: graduates that take this guy's class because they know that
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: they might have opportunity to pitch him the business and
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: he's going to invest in it. So it's like they
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: talk about group of economics.
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: The profess Yeah, it's like shark tank.
- 1:08:55Speaker 9: We're just gonna feed off the fish that come through,
- 1:08:57Speaker 9: you know what I'm saying, being off the talent.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: I want to know what we have to go from us.
- 1:09:02Speaker 6: We know street economics.
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: We got to go from street economics to real economics
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: and entrepreneurship. And that's what we've normally been creating because
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: we don't have the education to go with it. So
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: we are streepreneurs.
- 1:09:17Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: We got to go from that to entrepreneurship because that's
- 1:09:21Speaker 8: the narrative that has to change. But it comes through
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: education and we have to sit down and have more
- 1:09:26Speaker 8: conversations like this. But we have to give this to
- 1:09:29Speaker 8: the masses so they could see and understand, like we're
- 1:09:32Speaker 8: not perfect, we're not the smartest people in the world,
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: but look at our growth and we're willing to learn
- 1:09:37Speaker 8: and get better.
- 1:09:38Speaker 6: And I think that's the magic gonna happen for our culture.
- 1:09:41Speaker 8: Starting a conversation like this and seeing people that are
- 1:09:44Speaker 8: successful because our culture, we only feed on success, Like
- 1:09:49Speaker 8: you can't tell me nothing if you're not successful, and
- 1:09:53Speaker 8: so now it's gonna take people like us to take
- 1:09:55Speaker 8: the time out, and that's what we're doing.
- 1:09:57Speaker 6: So follow this movement.
- 1:09:59Speaker 8: We got people here that want to give this to you,
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: but you gotta want to learn it. And then you
- 1:10:04Speaker 8: really gonna have to sacrifice just like us and take
- 1:10:07Speaker 8: some time. Because I tell people all the time, you
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: know what's the key to success. It's consistency. See what
- 1:10:13Speaker 8: I'm saying. So they think you got to No, it's consistent.
- 1:10:16Speaker 8: You keep doing the same thing all the time. You're
- 1:10:18Speaker 8: gonna get some real results out of it. But people
- 1:10:21Speaker 8: want to run in place. They want to move, act
- 1:10:23Speaker 8: like they move, but you can't move. I be running
- 1:10:25Speaker 8: in place. So my thing is you gotta stop run place.
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: It is they just running in place? They not realizing.
- 1:10:34Speaker 6: Like we get up in the.
- 1:10:35Speaker 8: Morning, we run together, we work together, we play because
- 1:10:38Speaker 8: we've got a bigger vision.
- 1:10:39Speaker 6: We like man. And I'm gonna tell you something. Well,
- 1:10:42Speaker 6: I work so hard. They said, pee you go hard.
- 1:10:44Speaker 8: Yeah, I don't want to go back to the ghetto, dude,
- 1:10:47Speaker 8: I swear to God, I don't want to go back.
- 1:10:48Speaker 8: I want to go back to help the youth and
- 1:10:51Speaker 8: feed the elgeb. But I don't want to go back
- 1:10:53Speaker 8: there to live. So that's they say, well, why, that's
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: why I work so hard and my kids already have
- 1:10:57Speaker 8: it there. I say, why y'all work? They say, well,
- 1:10:59Speaker 8: why kids works hard? Because I already told them. You
- 1:11:02Speaker 8: don't want to go to to ghetto.
- 1:11:04Speaker 6: You never been there. You're not even beg about it.
- 1:11:08Speaker 8: You not ready for you do not want so my kids,
- 1:11:11Speaker 8: you see them, they going at it nothing.
- 1:11:13Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:11:14Speaker 8: If you want to be good at something, if you
- 1:11:15Speaker 8: look at from Lebron James to Kobe Bryant, those guys
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: had the same trait. If you look at it, they
- 1:11:23Speaker 8: had passion, they had purpose, and they had consistency.
- 1:11:27Speaker 6: That's what they had.
- 1:11:28Speaker 8: We have to have that if we really want to win.
- 1:11:30Speaker 8: When I get up in the morning, I go with it.
- 1:11:32Speaker 8: I tell you I'm a beast. You can't stop me. Brian,
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: I don't care who you is.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: For real, you cannot stop me. I don't care who
- 1:11:39Speaker 6: you is. You're not gonna bad, but to stop me.
- 1:11:42Speaker 6: You're not gonna better stop me because I get up
- 1:11:44Speaker 6: with it. I sleep with it. I know exactly what
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: I want. They like, Dad, Well, pe, you made this
- 1:11:51Speaker 6: has no limit. Boy, you don't understand. I'm about to
- 1:11:53Speaker 6: make ten times and I don't.
- 1:11:54Speaker 8: Even care about the money, because if you do something
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: you love, the money gonna come. It ain't a about Okay,
- 1:12:00Speaker 8: well I'm good if you're good at something. That's what
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: I tell people about talent. If you're good at something,
- 1:12:05Speaker 8: you're gonna create followers. A leader do on go look
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: for followers. A leader create followers off their talent. People
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: want to come to you because you're talented as something.
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: People come here to us because we're good at what
- 1:12:19Speaker 8: we do.
- 1:12:21Speaker 6: That's it.
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: We ain't gonna tell people to follow us. A leader
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: never tell somebody to follow them. People follow you because
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: you're good at what you do unless you.
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: In for I know you said you want to take
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: Raps's public. What is that process? More products coming? Like,
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: what's the process of getting this to What was that?
- 1:12:50Speaker 6: Yeah? I can answer that. Yeah.
- 1:12:52Speaker 7: I mean the first and foremost is the right timing, right,
- 1:12:56Speaker 7: you know, So we feel like, you know, well, let
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: me let me just say this. I wanted to make
- 1:13:03Speaker 7: sure that when we do go public, that the people
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: who are supporting our brand have the first opportunity to
- 1:13:09Speaker 7: invest in us right, So we're making sure that we
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: align that first and foremost because most of the times
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: we have companies like us, they go public and you
- 1:13:19Speaker 7: go to the institution first, they get all say, they
- 1:13:22Speaker 7: invest all the money, and then when it gets to
- 1:13:24Speaker 7: you know, to the regular person, they can't afford it
- 1:13:28Speaker 7: or the pricing is a lot higher than they should be.
- 1:13:30Speaker 6: We want to take our people on that ride with us.
- 1:13:33Speaker 6: You know what.
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: We want to build well journalist movement with us, and
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: don't wait till it because you know, people always say,
- 1:13:39Speaker 8: well I want to do this. You know what, You're
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: going to get an opportunity to do this and be
- 1:13:43Speaker 8: a part of this and be a part of making
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: some real money. And our thing is the more we make,
- 1:13:49Speaker 8: the more we get. We want to be able to
- 1:13:50Speaker 8: change the communities, the culture. We want to educate. We
- 1:13:54Speaker 8: want to build places to where we talk about financial literacy,
- 1:13:57Speaker 8: economic empowerment, banking. We want to give that to the
- 1:14:01Speaker 8: youth because that's where it started. They it's called preparation.
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: They preparing their generation for success. We gotta stop saying
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: we can't do something. That's why I call my company
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: no limit. There's gonna be no limit to my success
- 1:14:16Speaker 8: every time somebody tell When I was at home, it
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: was one old lady told me, miss Iringe, say, boy,
- 1:14:21Speaker 8: you bright eyes, you're gonna be a star, while everybody
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: will telling nigga, ain't gonna be shit. I said, boy,
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: miss Irings, I'm gonna be a star. I'm like seven
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: years old. You know what I'm saying. Miss Irens, I'm gonna.
- 1:14:31Speaker 6: Be a store. You back here with all us in
- 1:14:33Speaker 6: the project, you ain't gonna be shit.
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: Nah, bro, I'm gonna be a star. And we gotta
- 1:14:36Speaker 8: start preparing the next generation. And we're letting all these
- 1:14:40Speaker 8: other stores out there know, these entrepreneurs that we did it,
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: y'all could do. So we want to motivate them and
- 1:14:46Speaker 8: show them that. And we're gonna show by like we're
- 1:14:49Speaker 8: not perfect. So we go through some trial and there
- 1:14:52Speaker 8: or learn like when we first put the noodles out,
- 1:14:54Speaker 8: we had to fix the season.
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: That's cool.
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: We're showing you this the process, trust the process, but
- 1:14:59Speaker 8: we're gonna get it right because we know the bigger picture.
- 1:15:02Speaker 7: And then when you go public too, you you know
- 1:15:04Speaker 7: you are more acceptible to everybody. Everybody knows your business,
- 1:15:08Speaker 7: so you have to prepare for that, to make sure
- 1:15:11Speaker 7: that you have all your ducks in line right and
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: that you're not exposed to people trying to really bring
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: you down with things that they don't really gonna understand.
- 1:15:19Speaker 7: I mean, you had everything has to be tightened and
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: button up when you go public.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: Let me pete you and Baron Davis gonna buy Rebok, So.
- 1:15:28Speaker 6: Let me let me explain something something. So let me
- 1:15:37Speaker 6: explain something, right.
- 1:15:40Speaker 8: I have some incredible partners that we put a package
- 1:15:44Speaker 8: to go to the table, and our people don't understand
- 1:15:49Speaker 8: that we could do this. And so what I learned
- 1:15:51Speaker 8: on this journey, I'm going to educate my people on
- 1:15:53Speaker 8: the journey by get an opportunity and.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: They pick our bid and history will be made.
- 1:16:00Speaker 8: But history is gonna be made either way it goes,
- 1:16:02Speaker 8: because I'm educating my people on this journey. You know,
- 1:16:07Speaker 8: my people don't realize that these large companies like this
- 1:16:11Speaker 8: that we really can buy.
- 1:16:13Speaker 6: They got banks that just by the debt for these companies.
- 1:16:17Speaker 6: They never taught us that.
- 1:16:19Speaker 8: So what I'm gonna teach my people on this journey
- 1:16:22Speaker 8: how this is gonna get done even though we already
- 1:16:25Speaker 8: have the money in a bank to buy this but
- 1:16:28Speaker 8: the people I have around me are so smart to
- 1:16:30Speaker 8: It's like, know what we're gonna pay for this and debt?
- 1:16:33Speaker 6: And my people never understood that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 8: And that's what I'm gonna teach my people and being James,
- 1:16:38Speaker 8: We're gonna buy so many other companies like this, just
- 1:16:41Speaker 8: from this journey to know that I can do it
- 1:16:44Speaker 8: and say, oh, Pee, you work.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: Just how you know how much I don't work. You
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: don't know. I've got nothing in my name. I feel
- 1:16:50Speaker 6: it worth nothing. But I control a lot of companies.
- 1:16:54Speaker 6: I control everything I got trusted in a lot of companies.
- 1:16:57Speaker 8: I don't need to take nothing with me. I'm gonna
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: be able to buy get whatever I want because I
- 1:17:03Speaker 8: have the trust and the control of these companies. So
- 1:17:06Speaker 8: we have to teach that top people stop counting somebody
- 1:17:09Speaker 8: rich pockets. You're sitting at home, don't have nothing on
- 1:17:12Speaker 8: the internet trying to figure something out. This ain't no
- 1:17:14Speaker 8: Internet game, bro, I'm trying to educate this real life.
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: Don't take a picture. So this.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: We have to teach the culture this because they don't know.
- 1:17:40Speaker 8: They sitting back trying to figure out. So how you
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: think Reginald Lewis and all those people that came here
- 1:17:44Speaker 8: for us. How they bought these companies educational.
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: Wisdom and think about it.
- 1:17:50Speaker 8: We are the narrative when they're talking about CELSA. For
- 1:17:52Speaker 8: one thing, Reebok will not be successful unless they sell
- 1:17:56Speaker 8: it to us. As African Americans. We need a chance
- 1:17:59Speaker 8: to be able to put we the one blew that
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: company up, like think about it, but we never. But
- 1:18:08Speaker 8: what I want, this is what I want to stop
- 1:18:11Speaker 8: us being a face to these things.
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: And think about it.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: They offered me all kinds of deals. I'm like, Nah,
- 1:18:14Speaker 8: I'm smarter than that. But I'm from the project. I
- 1:18:16Speaker 8: shouldn't be as smart as y'all think. I am right,
- 1:18:19Speaker 8: I do have education. And so what I learned was
- 1:18:22Speaker 8: they want to make us the face. They want to
- 1:18:24Speaker 8: give us a minority ownership of these companies. So why
- 1:18:27Speaker 8: I'm gonna give you ten million dollars to go be
- 1:18:30Speaker 8: a minority ownership of the NETS and then you go
- 1:18:33Speaker 8: get build this nice facility because you got a minority owner,
- 1:18:36Speaker 8: and then we have no control. We're changing that narrative,
- 1:18:40Speaker 8: and it's gonna take time. It's not an overnight process.
- 1:18:43Speaker 6: So we have to be willing.
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: Yeah, we want in We won't we come into the
- 1:18:48Speaker 8: table and we got a team to go with us.
- 1:18:51Speaker 8: We have the right lawyers, the right accountants, and all
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: these things to go with us. And so we got
- 1:18:55Speaker 8: the right nerves with us. I don't gangsters with me.
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: I need nerds. I got a old team of nerves.
- 1:19:01Speaker 8: I'm the only gangster in the room.
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: I'm just telling up like I don't want no gamess.
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: But I cut all them off, you know, because think
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: about it, some of us want to be the realist
- 1:19:14Speaker 8: and the toughest, and then when we go to jail
- 1:19:16Speaker 8: and go to prison, then we get to cry, no, man,
- 1:19:18Speaker 8: take your lick all, y'all, because that's what I did.
- 1:19:21Speaker 6: I took my linque when I was in the streets.
- 1:19:23Speaker 8: But I got down on my knees to go out
- 1:19:24Speaker 8: and say, man, give me, ask for forgiven, and say
- 1:19:26Speaker 8: you give me a second chance. I'm gonna do better.
- 1:19:29Speaker 8: I ain't gonna sit in there and be like, oh,
- 1:19:30Speaker 8: I want to be the toughest dude in the world. Man,
- 1:19:33Speaker 8: I want to learn from my mistakes. I want to grow.
- 1:19:34Speaker 8: I want to get better. That's what I want to
- 1:19:36Speaker 8: teach this culture. Let's get better together. So if we
- 1:19:39Speaker 8: could go out there and play basketball and football for them.
- 1:19:42Speaker 8: We just to face if they could play pay Lebron
- 1:19:44Speaker 8: James that amount of money. Imagine a guy who owned
- 1:19:47Speaker 8: the team what he made.
- 1:19:48Speaker 6: So think nobody if he could pay him two hundred
- 1:19:51Speaker 6: millions and don't flinch, what do they make big Lebron James?
- 1:19:57Speaker 8: Because man, Lebron changed the game. It the game together
- 1:20:02Speaker 8: and even put a team out. And I'm just saying,
- 1:20:04Speaker 8: I'm just using because he's the biggest in the game.
- 1:20:06Speaker 8: But Lebron really gets it with a lot of these
- 1:20:09Speaker 8: players don't get it. So we got to give him
- 1:20:11Speaker 8: his just due because the team that he had while
- 1:20:15Speaker 8: he playing basketball, he understand business. It's a lot of
- 1:20:18Speaker 8: them don't. And I'm gonna tell you know why, because
- 1:20:21Speaker 8: everybody get a financial advisor, don't even know what they do.
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: They got guys a financial advisor come and say you
- 1:20:27Speaker 8: know what, I'm gonna take five percent of your money. Son,
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: you have to give me nunts. So you feel like, oh,
- 1:20:32Speaker 8: I had to get that white man nothing. He gonna
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: be my financial bosy list. Be honest, No matter, Look
- 1:20:36Speaker 8: look what the game come, you just made two hundred
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: million dollars. He got five percent or two hundred million dollars.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: How much is that ten million?
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: What you just mad him three months ago?
- 1:20:48Speaker 8: The man after Lisa Entertainers gave their mama ten million
- 1:20:52Speaker 8: dollars out their money.
- 1:20:55Speaker 6: Let't be honest.
- 1:20:56Speaker 8: So we have to educate ourselves to this, so you
- 1:20:59Speaker 8: don't even know what the fun and then they go
- 1:21:01Speaker 8: invest your money in penning stocks while you're playing basketball
- 1:21:04Speaker 8: and keep us away from each other, or don't bring
- 1:21:07Speaker 8: don't put them around them because them niggas smart right there.
- 1:21:09Speaker 6: We don't want you to be around them.
- 1:21:11Speaker 8: So we can't even give you the game because they
- 1:21:14Speaker 8: don't want you around us. And all we really just
- 1:21:15Speaker 8: trying to do is help, and I give it to
- 1:21:18Speaker 8: people for free. So think about it.
- 1:21:20Speaker 6: If we are stronger together and we educate them, if
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: one of them get it.
- 1:21:25Speaker 8: So that's why I'm doing my kids. My kids some
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: of the toughest in the country nine basketball. But I'm
- 1:21:29Speaker 8: saying that if you get to the league, what you
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: don't have to go lead. I'm proud of you that
- 1:21:34Speaker 8: you hate students coming from when we come. My kids
- 1:21:37Speaker 8: on the honor roll, they could go to any college
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: they want, and they straight monsters.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: On the court.
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: I was at one game do it? Ask me, man,
- 1:21:43Speaker 8: what master piece? Uncause the mother too dudes? Monsters or
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: that's piece son? You know, so you got to look
- 1:21:51Speaker 8: at it. I looked at I showed my kids. I say,
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: look at Steph Curry. I play with Steph Curry dad
- 1:21:56Speaker 8: as Charlotte. Steph Curry turned into a marksman because of
- 1:21:59Speaker 8: the working. I tell my sons, I get up at
- 1:22:03Speaker 8: five o'clock. If I don't see you up at five,
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: then guess what. You ain't serious? So guess what I'm
- 1:22:08Speaker 8: not investing in that. If you ain't up at five,
- 1:22:11Speaker 8: were cool, because guess what your your masterpiece of You
- 1:22:14Speaker 8: got an X on your back. They're already saying, oh well,
- 1:22:17Speaker 8: you ain't that good? So you got something to prove it?
- 1:22:20Speaker 8: And they know what I love about my kids. They
- 1:22:21Speaker 8: understand we're building a generation of wealth. I said, what's
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: the most important thing you're doing when you're out on
- 1:22:26Speaker 8: the court. You said, I'm protecting my family name. That's
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: what I'm talking about. You know what I'm saying, And
- 1:22:34Speaker 8: that's what we gotta be.
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely all.
- 1:22:42Speaker 4: So what's the what's the what's the what's the vision
- 1:22:44Speaker 4: going forward, like what's the ten year, five, twenty thirty year?
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: Playing? Like we talked about what we got going on
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: right now, what's the vision?
- 1:22:51Speaker 8: So the vision, the vision for me is uh let
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: Nipsey hustle Legacy Live. The marathon continues, continues to out.
- 1:23:01Speaker 8: And that was that was y'all talk about mentorship. That
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: was a kid that I knew in the eighth grade
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: and I mentored him. He had he went to my
- 1:23:08Speaker 8: program in Cali. It's called Urban Born. Me and Janelle
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: created a program to get gangs off the streets and
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: into the classrooms. And so this guy always start out
- 1:23:19Speaker 8: the box. But the one thing we didn't realize that
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: even these communities, we have to educate ourselves on how
- 1:23:25Speaker 8: to survive. So you as us having well, we got
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: to know that. And so it's to educate you know,
- 1:23:32Speaker 8: even people from our culture that want to be successful.
- 1:23:35Speaker 6: In business, you still have to survive.
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: You have to survive to be because like I said,
- 1:23:40Speaker 8: we come from a world of self hate and we
- 1:23:43Speaker 8: eliminate each other for the bag.
- 1:23:46Speaker 6: And you know, like if you listen to all these songs,
- 1:23:48Speaker 6: get rid of the plug? Do all this? Okay, well,
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: what's the plug gone? Where're gonna get something from and
- 1:23:56Speaker 6: so now we have to educate.
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: So we we're building wisdom. It's not about money. We
- 1:24:02Speaker 8: don't pray for money. We pray for wisdom. And so
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: now we have to build this with us passing this
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: wisdom down, opening these doors. Me and James like no,
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: we brothers from another month, because we got real love
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: for each other. Like you know what, some of us
- 1:24:17Speaker 8: have bad days, some of the good days. Wherever they help,
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: we're gonna help each other. That's just how it go
- 1:24:21Speaker 8: is love. We have to show the culture that all
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: this hate we got, we gotta fix this with love
- 1:24:27Speaker 8: and we got to give the negative to something positive
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: or we're gonna keep sending us to be incarcerated. And
- 1:24:33Speaker 8: our thing is we want to change that narrative. So
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: this is not just about making money. That's why we
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: want the world to note. This is about building a
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: better culture of people and educating them financially and growing
- 1:24:43Speaker 8: companies and building business so we could feed our people.
- 1:24:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:24:47Speaker 7: I mean it's also too, my brother, it's about creating
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: more of us. Yeah right, you know, so if you
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: multiply me and p and Wise and you know, most
- 1:24:55Speaker 7: of the people in this room that have, you know,
- 1:24:58Speaker 7: an attitude like, hey, we're gonna go out and get it.
- 1:25:00Speaker 7: All we need is the information. Right once we do that,
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: you know, and it's been done before. But then you know,
- 1:25:08Speaker 7: you talk about Black Wall Street and some other things,
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: but it's always been destroyed over a period of time.
- 1:25:13Speaker 7: If you look at history. You know, even the brother Philler,
- 1:25:18Speaker 7: you know, when they found out that his product was
- 1:25:21Speaker 7: black owned, that's when his business died. And it died
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: less than about six months.
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: What company was done.
- 1:25:29Speaker 8: Company?
- 1:25:30Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:25:31Speaker 7: Right, you know, So you know, it's it's really about
- 1:25:35Speaker 7: creating more of us, you know, and and it's also
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: by creating the attitude that we want to do better.
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:25:43Speaker 7: I mean, everybody got a choice. Man, I'm like and
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: I you know, and I'm telling ps that we can.
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: We can't save everybody, but the part the people that
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: we do, it's in that direction. Those are the people
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: that really wanted you know what I'm saying. Like, you know,
- 1:25:57Speaker 7: when I was coming out of school, I got a
- 1:25:59Speaker 7: basketball scholarship come out of high school. You know, I
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: went to this small school and I was there and
- 1:26:07Speaker 7: I was like, you know, I had to make a decision.
- 1:26:09Speaker 7: You know, I'm I'm I wasn't even serious about school.
- 1:26:11Speaker 7: I just felt like I was gonna play in the NBA.
- 1:26:13Speaker 7: I had no other options other than sports. So giving,
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: you know, are people more options other than being a
- 1:26:20Speaker 7: rapper and being and doing sports. And like you said,
- 1:26:24Speaker 7: you know somebody that's financially suitable to be that bet,
- 1:26:27Speaker 7: that next star and then in the financial business. That's
- 1:26:32Speaker 7: what's next for us. And we show how successful we
- 1:26:35Speaker 7: are and we keep creating that, we're gonna create a
- 1:26:38Speaker 7: whole plethora of people that's gonna come behind us, you know,
- 1:26:41Speaker 7: and strengthen you know, other people, and it's just going
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: to be you know, it's just going to trick late,
- 1:26:47Speaker 7: you know, and and to continue for years. But it
- 1:26:50Speaker 7: has to start with us.
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: I appreciate you, brothers. What's your vision? I want to
- 1:26:54Speaker 4: want I want to hear from you, from you.
- 1:26:56Speaker 10: Going to piggyback off jameson p you know, for me,
- 1:27:00Speaker 10: Boss up Rap Snacks Foundation is a resource capture foundation.
- 1:27:06Speaker 10: You know, we're capturing resources that have been getting extracted
- 1:27:10Speaker 10: out of community. You know, they call our communities under
- 1:27:12Speaker 10: resource communities in the not for profit world, in the
- 1:27:15Speaker 10: nonprofit world, but we're not under resource. We're over extracted.
- 1:27:19Speaker 10: You know. We have all the resources, we the bag,
- 1:27:21Speaker 10: everything we need is already in the village, is just
- 1:27:23Speaker 10: being extracted. So the Foundation sets up programs to help
- 1:27:28Speaker 10: trap those resources. For example, we partner with Denise the broker,
- 1:27:33Speaker 10: you know, one of the most popping brokerage firms, real
- 1:27:38Speaker 10: estate's brokers, brokerage firms in the country, biggest.
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: Also too, you know. Not only that, you know she's
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: doing really well, but it's her spirit that is mean.
- 1:27:53Speaker 7: While I talk about all the time, you know, and
- 1:27:55Speaker 7: we we're big on that. I'm big on energy. I'm
- 1:27:57Speaker 7: big on spirit.
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: Energy is like this world. So that's another thing I'm
- 1:28:02Speaker 7: telling that. I'm saying about attitude and energy, and I mean,
- 1:28:05Speaker 7: they'll get you a loan, they'll get you'll get you
- 1:28:07Speaker 7: a little absolutely.
- 1:28:08Speaker 10: So we developed this program you know that p came
- 1:28:12Speaker 10: up with called buy our Blocks. So we'll buy our blocks.
- 1:28:16Speaker 10: We're actually taking people from nothing to copying their first
- 1:28:21Speaker 10: investment property, you know, and as well as a two
- 1:28:24Speaker 10: pronged pro course program where you can learn how to
- 1:28:27Speaker 10: invest in your first investment property or you can learn
- 1:28:30Speaker 10: home get home ownership training training for your first home
- 1:28:33Speaker 10: purchase because you know, we buy our homes black Community
- 1:28:37Speaker 10: fifty sixty just buying a home, when in order for
- 1:28:40Speaker 10: you to maximize the equity on the home, you should
- 1:28:42Speaker 10: buy your home before thirty five years old, you know
- 1:28:45Speaker 10: what I mean. So we're trying to encourage the community
- 1:28:47Speaker 10: and the culture to purchase homes earlier, you know what
- 1:28:49Speaker 10: I mean, so you can maximize the wealth on that
- 1:28:51Speaker 10: you know, on that asset.
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:28:53Speaker 10: Then we partner with a group of a young brother
- 1:28:56Speaker 10: out of Virginia. He has an organization called Black Wall
- 1:28:59Speaker 10: Streeters Junior Black Wall Street and so we developed a
- 1:29:02Speaker 10: program called Bricks Boss Up Remote Investment Club Systems where
- 1:29:07Speaker 10: we're actually creating investment clubs. We're getting people together in groups.
- 1:29:11Speaker 10: So you could bring your family, if you want your
- 1:29:13Speaker 10: family to start an investment club. You can join this
- 1:29:16Speaker 10: program and we get we mental you, consult you through
- 1:29:19Speaker 10: the program and get you on your way to building wealth.
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: You know.
- 1:29:23Speaker 10: So all the programs that we create is to basically
- 1:29:27Speaker 10: facilitate what James and Master p just put down for
- 1:29:30Speaker 10: the vision, you know what I mean, to pass the
- 1:29:32Speaker 10: information on into the next generation.
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: Now we can do the help you know, We've we've
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: created an ecosystem of entrepreneurs. Got MG to mortgage, got right, Yeah,
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: of course we got Wall Street trapping in shout out
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: to end our show market mondays. We got Alix the
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: Energy he's the trucking Google right here, he does the trucks.
- 1:29:49Speaker 4: Of course, you know spec Mad does Toro. So we've
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: created a whole ecosystem of entrepreneurs from our culture. So
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: everything you said just resonated with me. So if we
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: could of any help, man would definitely love the build.
- 1:30:02Speaker 7: That's great because we got a truck he coming. We're
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: trying to start. We do our own truck. We down
- 1:30:10Speaker 7: trucking right now. We have a guy over there who's
- 1:30:13Speaker 7: my friend since ninth grade. He's running, you know, running
- 1:30:16Speaker 7: these running you know, our Trump chasing department. But I'm like, yo,
- 1:30:19Speaker 7: we need this. We need to buy our own trucks.
- 1:30:21Speaker 7: It's crazy, you know what I'm saying. So that's a
- 1:30:24Speaker 7: that's as y'all was speaking. I'm saying, I'm just gonna
- 1:30:26Speaker 7: repeat what you were saying. Man, Like, I feel like
- 1:30:27Speaker 7: this room is delving and buying me of y'all what
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: you're talking about.
- 1:30:30Speaker 6: Like, I'm challenging all of us and just we could
- 1:30:33Speaker 6: do it. You know what I'm saying, like, look at this,
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: but like.
- 1:30:36Speaker 8: I said, this thought from us making the right connections
- 1:30:40Speaker 8: and resources. The people always saying, well you know what
- 1:30:42Speaker 8: you're looking for, it might be right around. You know,
- 1:30:45Speaker 8: this is my homeboy from New Orleans. He got he
- 1:30:47Speaker 8: got his own wingshot, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:30:49Speaker 8: it's like putting all this stuff together saying we can.
- 1:30:52Speaker 7: Do any pleasant, right, Fraternity, I'm just saying. I'm just saying,
- 1:30:58Speaker 7: you know, but my brother here man, like first and
- 1:31:00Speaker 7: foremost them, thank you for coming today?
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: Man and man man? Why is always talking about you? Man?
- 1:31:05Speaker 7: But my whole thing is that you know, like I
- 1:31:07Speaker 7: see you man, and you you're killing it right. So
- 1:31:10Speaker 7: I wanted to know, like where you're trying to take
- 1:31:12Speaker 7: your platform, you know, and what's the next level for
- 1:31:15Speaker 7: you because you know, like we got a lot of synergy. Said,
- 1:31:17Speaker 7: We've been trying to reach out to you forever.
