Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Coming up on Relatables. The boundary needs to be set
- 0:03Speaker 1: for him, but it also needs to be set for yourself. Yeah,
- 0:05Speaker 1: it's a.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Big learning curve.
- 0:18Speaker 3: The Relatables podcast is hosted by myself, Addie Clark Ak
- 0:22Speaker 3: and my partner in crime, mister Jake Craig Ak, Polar
- 0:28Speaker 3: Poe and your Callistamon Calistamon. Yeah, Callistamon and Poa. You
- 0:32Speaker 3: guys might be thinking what the hell did they just say?
- 0:35Speaker 3: And you'll never know unless you're a Patreon Baddie. We're
- 0:38Speaker 3: plugging early because that's the place to be eight.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Ninety nine a month.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Well, we're on fire today. I had a thought, Actually,
- 0:45Speaker 3: I think you will look great.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Pat it up.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Beth keeps telling me that that's the two most important
- 0:52Speaker 3: people in your life.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Surely is it.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Okay? Yeah? I know, I don't know what I'm bad.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Beth is my girlfriend. For anybody that's new here, Beth
- 1:12Speaker 1: keeps asking me about more tattoos. Should I just think it?
- 1:16Speaker 2: You would suit? I'm like semi sleeve vibe.
- 1:19Speaker 1: That's what I think I liked, prefer sleeve like. I
- 1:22Speaker 1: would happily get some of these turned into something different,
- 1:24Speaker 1: into a sleeve like I like some of them.
- 1:26Speaker 3: Yeah, you go the forearms, you've got big extremities.
- 1:29Speaker 1: But he's he's one thing I kind of always wanted
- 1:30Speaker 1: to go, Like if you say half half sleeve, I'll
- 1:34Speaker 1: be pissed, and then my whole thing's half half. Well
- 1:37Speaker 1: I want half full tattoo and then half clean. Oh no,
- 1:42Speaker 1: I wanted to do like opposite. So like if I
- 1:44Speaker 1: get this arm tatted, this this leg gets some tats,
- 1:47Speaker 1: but I I leg tattoo is scammy? Do they hurt? Yeah?
- 1:51Speaker 2: Like a bitch.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a great idea, but you're never going to
- 1:54Speaker 3: do it. You know what, Admin that's a good point.
- 1:58Speaker 3: You have to go look at tattoos. Pick one fine
- 2:00Speaker 3: an artist.
- 2:00Speaker 1: You know what I can't. You know what he's actually
- 2:04Speaker 1: my whole thing is one thing I'll this is one
- 2:06Speaker 1: way I'll put stuff off right. One thing like so
- 2:09Speaker 1: things like tattoos where it's like it doesn't affect my
- 2:12Speaker 1: life really but like it's the thing that I want.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Or you've got none in the moment, you could have heaps.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I have some tattoos, some more.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I don't know about. Or that wouldn't be the word
- 2:23Speaker 2: I used to describe you.
- 2:25Speaker 1: What would you used to describe me?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Not urr.
- 2:30Speaker 1: One word please?
- 2:31Speaker 2: Okay? One word? Okay?
- 2:33Speaker 1: What actually would you? How would you describe me? If
- 2:38Speaker 1: someone said, describe Jake in one word and then let
- 2:41Speaker 1: our imagination do the rest.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Is it right?
- 2:45Speaker 3: One word?
- 2:46Speaker 1: That's two words?
- 2:47Speaker 3: All right?
- 2:48Speaker 2: All right?
- 2:50Speaker 1: They would just be thinking, like you're saying, okay, I'll
- 2:52Speaker 1: do it. If I'm someone going describe Jake in one
- 2:56Speaker 1: word and then let our imagination do the rest, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: then you say all right, I'd be like, well you're
- 3:00Speaker 1: gonna do it.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That was the first two words to come to mind.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I'll break it down to one. One word. I've always
- 3:09Speaker 2: got two.
- 3:10Speaker 3: I was gonna say, nice guy, but let me learn,
- 3:12Speaker 3: let me learn.
- 3:15Speaker 2: Chilled.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I'll take it chilled, Yeah, yeah, unbothered, unbothered, unbothered, yeah, bothers.
- 3:23Speaker 1: One word?
- 3:24Speaker 2: What about us?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Not one?
- 3:26Speaker 2: He's unphased? One word?
- 3:27Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go, There we go. You went unfazed.
- 3:31Speaker 3: How would you describe me? I'll take that claim. I
- 3:36Speaker 3: thought you were going to say sexy for a second.
- 3:37Speaker 1: But what do you think I was going to say that?
- 3:41Speaker 2: You've said I had to have a great body. You know,
- 3:43Speaker 2: if you have a good body?
- 3:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you know what you work hard for it you
- 3:46Speaker 1: never yeah, and you just have it genetically.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Can I say I have even against.
- 3:51Speaker 1: You for the reason you work out is because because
- 3:55Speaker 1: I'm luckily, I don't have to work out often.
- 3:57Speaker 3: People get motivation from like breaking up with their partners.
- 3:59Speaker 3: I look at a Jake and he works out like
- 4:01Speaker 3: three days.
- 4:01Speaker 2: He's bigger than me.
- 4:02Speaker 1: They say, keep keep your enemies, so keep your friends close,
- 4:04Speaker 1: with your enemies closer.
- 4:07Speaker 2: I did that.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I was working out the first time I took get
- 4:09Speaker 1: Eth into the gym. Jake's brother, yeah, my younger brother.
- 4:12Speaker 1: I was talking to him about things and just like
- 4:14Speaker 1: I was like kind of saying to him like, look,
- 4:16Speaker 1: if you if you're pretty consistent, like you'll get this
- 4:19Speaker 1: thing called newbie gains and we're going into all these things.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And I was like, I was like, I think he
- 4:26Speaker 1: might he might have said something about how I looked,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and I was like, yeah, I like genetically, Like another
- 4:32Speaker 1: thing that comes into it is genetics. Like genetically, I
- 4:34Speaker 1: got relatively lucky compared to someone. I was like, if
- 4:37Speaker 1: you look at Oddie, that motherfucker works ten times harder
- 4:39Speaker 1: than me. And I said to it, I was like,
- 4:41Speaker 1: look I was like, he arguably looks better than me,
- 4:43Speaker 1: but like he works so much fucking hard.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, I've got really long legs, a small torso,
- 4:53Speaker 3: but I have a I have a lot of heart.
- 4:56Speaker 3: My insertions are I'm pretty happy to be fair.
- 4:57Speaker 1: No, no, you definitely look look at it. You do
- 4:59Speaker 1: look big.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Insertions are good just like could be like you have
- 5:02Speaker 3: long muscles. I just don't look good for social media. No, No,
- 5:06Speaker 3: I'm just in a sense of like if I was
- 5:07Speaker 3: like five four and like everyone thought I was big,
- 5:10Speaker 3: I would look massive. Anyone that's five everyone that looks massive,
- 5:13Speaker 3: and then they may keep some money online because I
- 5:14Speaker 3: think they're jacked.
- 5:15Speaker 2: But it actually like the size.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Of my pinkypewise.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Yeah, but like they actually are massive because like they
- 5:21Speaker 1: just have short muscles. Yeah, but then you stand next
- 5:23Speaker 1: to him and they don't look massive. But see I
- 5:25Speaker 1: would prefer me. Yeah, same your body type and being like,
- 5:29Speaker 1: but like I look good in real life, but everyone's online.
- 5:33Speaker 3: You said it to your brother, You're probably like, yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I was like you, he said, I said, Odi is
- 5:40Speaker 3: like way stronger than me too, but like next to
- 5:43Speaker 3: each other, better looking bigger downstairs, You probably said to him,
- 5:48Speaker 3: I've got a photo of his penis. If I recorded
- 5:50Speaker 3: him in our show, we want to see it's huge,
- 5:54Speaker 3: right Anyway, I had a new segment to start the episode, Jake,
- 5:59Speaker 3: I'm going to call all this things I think should
- 6:01Speaker 3: count as cardio.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Okay, sounds good to me because I don't do cardio.
- 6:06Speaker 3: It's funny we were talking about that. Actually you didn't
- 6:08Speaker 3: know what was coming. All right, things I think should
- 6:10Speaker 3: count as cardio talking to someone.
- 6:12Speaker 1: New ooh yeah, mental cardio.
- 6:16Speaker 3: Yeah, no, legit, I reckon that's more strenuous than going
- 6:19Speaker 3: on a treadmill. Yeah, yeah, I would agree, all right,
- 6:24Speaker 3: things I think should count as cardio. Flying with Jetstar.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Wait, here's the reason too, because you'll go look at
- 6:31Speaker 1: where your gate is right and it'll say gate like sixteen,
- 6:34Speaker 1: and then you get the gate sixteen.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It'll be like on the.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Ludspeaker, Flight JQ forty seven has moved to Gate forty seven,
- 6:40Speaker 1: and then you have to walk to the other side
- 6:41Speaker 1: of the airport. That's why it's cardio.
- 6:44Speaker 2: For any none Aussie listeners. It's like the budgets, like
- 6:46Speaker 2: the Ryan Air of Australia.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yah, yeah, yeah, yea, I hate I have a vendetta A.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I actually think if Jetstar came to us with a
- 6:53Speaker 3: brand deal, I would have to say no, really, I
- 6:56Speaker 3: think I would.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I can't to be fair though, you've talked mad shit
- 7:01Speaker 1: about them, so if they heard anything.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think.
- 7:05Speaker 3: But I know it's a budget airline and you've got
- 7:06Speaker 3: to be like, oh, yeah, yeah, what you paid for?
- 7:08Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 7:08Speaker 2: Fuck off?
- 7:10Speaker 1: Well you I have never been delayed more than like
- 7:13Speaker 1: ten twenty minutes on jet Start. You've had, You've got
- 7:16Speaker 1: like hour long day. They hate me, two hour long delays.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Like hate me.
- 7:18Speaker 1: That's so funny. I hate I'm version through them through
- 7:21Speaker 1: I like virgin.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I don't know why.
- 7:22Speaker 3: All right, things I think should count as cardio. Putting
- 7:25Speaker 3: fitted sheets on a mattress fitted sheets, I think is easy.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Putting the freaking Douner cover on your douner now they
- 7:33Speaker 3: both is so difficult. Business idea, We've got to come
- 7:37Speaker 3: up with, like a self making fitted sheet douner dove
- 7:42Speaker 3: put her in a.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Pause, put it in her in ah, put it in hu. Yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 3: But business idea, mate, or no, how could you make
- 7:55Speaker 3: that easier?
- 7:55Speaker 2: I'll tell you what we do.
- 7:57Speaker 3: We get professional at it and then we can go
- 7:59Speaker 3: into people's house and doing like thirty seconds in charge
- 8:01Speaker 3: tough thirty bucks.
- 8:04Speaker 1: No, I don't hate it enough to pay someone.
- 8:08Speaker 2: What if what if some gene came in and was like, yo,
- 8:10Speaker 2: joke of me to do your bed?
- 8:12Speaker 1: No I'm not.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I don't hate doing it, and someone to do it
- 8:17Speaker 3: put it in her brother.
- 8:20Speaker 2: All right.
- 8:21Speaker 3: A couple more things I think should count as cardio.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Your parents going through your photos.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Because your heart's right, Yeah, she counts because you're like
- 8:31Speaker 1: you ever said your parents like you go to show
- 8:33Speaker 1: the photo and they decide to go.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It's what I don't understand.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm showing you one photo.
- 8:38Speaker 2: But even like, does it happen my parents are social
- 8:42Speaker 2: media phone illiterate?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Yep?
- 8:44Speaker 3: Does it happen to parents who know what they're doing
- 8:45Speaker 3: on there?
- 8:46Speaker 1: Still? I reckon ye, because my parents are they're just
- 8:48Speaker 1: I've got.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Nothing on the photos. But also I do I don't
- 8:51Speaker 2: know what's there.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's kind of a similar thing of like, okay, so
- 8:55Speaker 1: this is all the exact same feeling, right, The feeling
- 8:59Speaker 1: you get when you give your parents your phone and
- 9:01Speaker 1: they're looking at a photo and they start swiping. The
- 9:03Speaker 1: feeling you get when you have not been drinking but
- 9:07Speaker 1: you get pulled over for an RBT and know you
- 9:08Speaker 1: haven't had it, but it's still scary. Yeah, you know
- 9:10Speaker 1: you're gonna pass the RBT, but it doesn't matter. Just
- 9:13Speaker 1: you're anxious. Same feeling you get when like, I don't know,
- 9:16Speaker 1: your girlfriend starts showing for your Instagram. You're like, I
- 9:19Speaker 1: literally know why I've done nothing, but like for some
- 9:22Speaker 1: reason that just so many men just get caught doing
- 9:25Speaker 1: it on their phone. Someone feels like it just is
- 9:26Speaker 1: the thing I'm gonna get caught.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Doing, even though I who, I haven't done it.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Is it just men?
- 9:29Speaker 2: Or do girls have that too?
- 9:30Speaker 3: They have some crazy shit in their cameras and they
- 9:33Speaker 3: have like twenty thousand photos. True, surely like there's just
- 9:36Speaker 3: some random titty picks here in there like of themselves.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Sure why what?
- 9:45Speaker 1: Look? I mean, that's a good point. Like I wonder
- 9:46Speaker 1: if I'm ever just like on Beth's phone doing if
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm ever just like she passes in me to do something,
- 9:51Speaker 1: if I just started like sticking to you, like hey
- 9:52Speaker 1: give it here.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I doubt it? Probably not all right?
- 9:55Speaker 3: My last one, I feel like this is the best
- 9:57Speaker 3: one things I think should count as cardio thinking about
- 10:00Speaker 3: doing cardio?
- 10:02Speaker 1: Imagine that.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I feel like the mental rigamarole.
- 10:05Speaker 3: You have with like should I go to the gym
- 10:07Speaker 3: in new cardio or he'll wait?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Or should I go for a walk?
- 10:10Speaker 3: That counts. It's the thought that counts.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Isn't that what everyone lives by?
- 10:15Speaker 1: I feel like it's the thought that counts, but the
- 10:17Speaker 1: execution matters. M.
- 10:22Speaker 3: I don't like that attitude, mate, Why you don't do it?
- 10:24Speaker 1: I thought you would like that. No, I do like
- 10:26Speaker 1: that I don't do it. Yeah, but like that also
- 10:28Speaker 1: doesn't apply to me because I never think about doing
- 10:30Speaker 1: cardio because I don't. Just I'm like, I'm not doing it. Yeah.
- 10:32Speaker 3: This guy is getting his brother in the gym and
- 10:33Speaker 3: he's like, should we do some carter?
- 10:34Speaker 1: And he's like, I was like, man, I don't do carter.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Look at me. I was thinking, I do. I want
- 10:44Speaker 1: to start going on like every second day, maybe doing
- 10:48Speaker 1: some like short runs.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Your body doesn't like Running's where broody doesn't like it.
- 10:53Speaker 2: You're not built to run. You're built. You're built the walk.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm built the sit.
- 10:58Speaker 2: That's an insult in the heart.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Look like you're built to site. The other one was
- 11:05Speaker 1: you look like you're easy to approach or something like that,
- 11:07Speaker 1: you look like you're easy to talk to. Yeah, yeah,
- 11:09Speaker 1: you look easy to talk to you. No, that's that's
- 11:11Speaker 1: a nice thing to say.
- 11:12Speaker 3: Was it that?
- 11:13Speaker 1: Yeah? I think it was something like you look easily approachable,
- 11:16Speaker 1: you look.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I can't remember. Wait, maybe that.
- 11:20Speaker 1: At the time, we really thought it was so funny.
- 11:22Speaker 1: I swear it was the talk one. There was context
- 11:25Speaker 1: to be fair, Okay, so context for that was like
- 11:28Speaker 1: we oh yeah, yeah, yeah. No, So we were watching
- 11:31Speaker 1: the show that we're going to talk about it, go
- 11:33Speaker 1: into it.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yeah, it's literally go into it.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Off Campus. Yeah, okay, we watched the first episode of
- 11:38Speaker 1: Off Campus. First thing I want to say is so
- 11:42Speaker 1: so pleasantly surprised. Second thing I want to say is
- 11:44Speaker 1: just to talk about the thing. Get out of the way,
- 11:46Speaker 1: and then we'll talk about the show. Is main character Hannah,
- 11:51Speaker 1: the main female character, two characters. Main female character Hannah
- 11:55Speaker 1: is crushing on Justin. One of the other characters n Garrett. No, no,
- 12:00Speaker 1: she's crushing on Justine. Oh, crushing on Justin. And one
- 12:06Speaker 1: of our friends is like, go talk to him, and
- 12:08Speaker 1: she goes, but he's so much easier to look at
- 12:11Speaker 1: then talk to. Yes, that was it, and so then
- 12:14Speaker 1: and then Oddie thinks he's a funny guy and he's like,
- 12:17Speaker 1: you look easy to talk to, as like an insult,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but like it didn't a really nice thing to say.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Now thinking about it.
- 12:24Speaker 3: We need the first bit where he's easy to look at,
- 12:26Speaker 3: because I was implying that you're not easy to look at.
- 12:30Speaker 1: No, you were implying I'm ugly. Yeah I was, and
- 12:32Speaker 1: I'm easy to approa approach like I don't make people
- 12:34Speaker 1: know that, and I stand by that.
- 12:36Speaker 2: It didn't work.
- 12:37Speaker 3: But anyway, we watched it off campus, now available on
- 12:40Speaker 3: Amazon Prime.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so we watched the first episode on campus. Sorry
- 12:44Speaker 1: if you If you want to watch it along with us,
- 12:46Speaker 1: it is on patroon eight ninety nine.
- 12:48Speaker 3: A month we watched the whole thing, which was I'm
- 12:52Speaker 3: going to say one word to describe.
- 12:53Speaker 2: It, brilliant.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Yeah, brilliant. Okay. My one way to decide to describe
- 12:57Speaker 1: it was like kicking feet. I feel like the whole
- 13:02Speaker 1: episode was kind of like WHOA. I was like kicking
- 13:04Speaker 1: my feet.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Not one word, but I'll give it to you.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Keep me on so you're excited before you're isn't that high.
- 13:15Speaker 1: But okay, anyway, we thought we might. We want to
- 13:16Speaker 1: talk about the first out just because it was so
- 13:18Speaker 1: good too. So episode one opens up Hannah Garrett. Right,
- 13:25Speaker 1: if you get a quick intro to the first two.
- 13:27Speaker 3: First mental screen show the first scene.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Hannah, she's she's working. She's they portray her as just
- 13:34Speaker 1: working class. You know, she's working, doing her thing, mopping
- 13:38Speaker 1: up stuff. You know, she's working at the arena.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, Garrett hockey arena.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Yeah, ice hockey. Garrett, ice hockey player. He's out here.
- 13:48Speaker 1: They portrayed him clearly as the guy that's just like
- 13:50Speaker 1: a beast at ice hockey. And he's like practicing after hours,
- 13:53Speaker 1: like on his own. Right, he comes off, he's hopping
- 13:56Speaker 1: in the shower, and then she's doing her things. She's
- 13:59Speaker 1: coming in, getting all the dry for more. The guys practice,
- 14:02Speaker 1: and then she's got headphones on. She's bopping around her music,
- 14:04Speaker 1: doing no thing. He's in the shower, right, he's like scrubbing,
- 14:07Speaker 1: he's doing that classic thing. And then she stops and
- 14:13Speaker 1: she's looking at him in the shower. She's she's taking
- 14:16Speaker 1: a sneak peek. He turns around and he's just like,
- 14:21Speaker 1: he's like this, he turns around. If you see someone
- 14:24Speaker 1: looking at you as a man, the first thing you
- 14:26Speaker 1: do is or you got this. I would go like
- 14:30Speaker 1: this and then turn around. What are you doing? What
- 14:32Speaker 1: are you doing it? But he turns around, right, he
- 14:36Speaker 1: turns around, the hands just beside him, just like letting
- 14:39Speaker 1: it all hang out. She's just like jaw flawed. She
- 14:43Speaker 1: takes a good look and then she stands like ten
- 14:46Speaker 1: seconds he's just like he just like smirks, and it's
- 14:49Speaker 1: almost like it's like him and his penis had a
- 14:52Speaker 1: conversation of like, yeah, look at this, fucking like what
- 14:55Speaker 1: you see? Oh my, it was never seen confidence like it.
- 14:59Speaker 3: No, but that was the opening of the show, by
- 15:03Speaker 3: the way. Yeah, oh honestly it caught me off guard,
- 15:05Speaker 3: but I was hooked.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And Okay, so they really like hop skip jump into
- 15:09Speaker 1: the show, which I kind of liked. Actually, I do
- 15:11Speaker 1: like that too because we haven't read the books. So yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 1: because there's a book obviously caught off campus and we
- 15:18Speaker 1: went into it, I guess sort of blind, which is
- 15:20Speaker 1: kind I kind of like that because sometimes I think
- 15:22Speaker 1: reading the books a good thing. But I think that
- 15:27Speaker 1: when you when you're What I've found is why people
- 15:30Speaker 1: always are saying that the book is better than the
- 15:32Speaker 1: show or the movie is because like, you can't like
- 15:36Speaker 1: what you're reading.
- 15:36Speaker 2: When you're reading a.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Book, is someone's like inner monologue. You don't like if say,
- 15:41Speaker 1: in the scene of that, if you're reading the book
- 15:44Speaker 1: of Off Campus and that opening scene is this, right,
- 15:46Speaker 1: you would be like say from my Hanner's POV and
- 15:49Speaker 1: it would be like, oh, she would be describing like
- 15:52Speaker 1: curves of the body and like beautiful hands and face,
- 15:55Speaker 1: like the length of something, like you know what I mean,
- 15:58Speaker 1: Like you don't get that. You just get to see her.
- 16:00Speaker 1: She's a good actor, but like you don't hear that
- 16:02Speaker 1: in a monologue.
- 16:03Speaker 2: I actually really like the actors too.
- 16:04Speaker 3: They were going to they were good, tell me one.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Episode, go through rest through one, upset, Okay, but it
- 16:10Speaker 1: is a good like INTR episode And so Hannah music major.
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm not a fan of hockey, no hates it, doesn't
- 16:18Speaker 1: like ice hockey.
- 16:18Speaker 2: We're going to find out why.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I do think we'll find out why. She's got
- 16:22Speaker 1: a flashback of one of the other hockey player the
- 16:24Speaker 1: team members. So yeah, here's what I'm thinking I'm going
- 16:26Speaker 1: to make a call, all right, So basically we'll get
- 16:28Speaker 1: to that. So Hannah music major, doesn't like hockey, doesn't
- 16:34Speaker 1: like to go out and party. She kind of just
- 16:36Speaker 1: likes to keep to herself, to be fair, works a
- 16:38Speaker 1: couple of jobs. She's at this school, Brier University, looks
- 16:41Speaker 1: like a fucking six school for because of a scholarship. Yea,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but we find out very early on that she's losing
- 16:48Speaker 1: her scholarship. So she needs to change from classical music
- 16:53Speaker 1: because that's what they took funding away, and they're like,
- 16:55Speaker 1: who's going to do classico stuff that? But pop music
- 16:57Speaker 1: is big pops in so she needs to write a
- 16:59Speaker 1: pops go to some competition and if she wins, they win,
- 17:02Speaker 1: she wins scholarship so she can stay at the school. Now, Garrett,
- 17:07Speaker 1: he is hockey star. This guy. Never never met anyone
- 17:13Speaker 1: this cockie in my life.
- 17:14Speaker 2: He's hot too, but fuck he's hot. Yeah, he's good casting.
- 17:19Speaker 2: He's hot.
- 17:21Speaker 1: He looks like he's about six foot six.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I've always thought, yeah, I'd love to know he's hot.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Is he actually that hot in person? And he makes surely?
- 17:29Speaker 2: I guess I was phil better he was hot.
- 17:31Speaker 3: Hot.
- 17:31Speaker 2: He must have a big one.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I mean, anyway, the best hockey player junior at Bryan University.
- 17:40Speaker 2: He's a captain.
- 17:41Speaker 1: He's a captain of the hockey team. We find out
- 17:44Speaker 1: a little ways through that he is the son of
- 17:48Speaker 1: Phil Graham, who is NHL Star, Stanley Cup winner like
- 17:53Speaker 1: other awards and stuff like that. But he hates his dad.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Reason his dad abusive to his mum when he was
- 18:01Speaker 1: a kid. He has some flashbacks and so that's very sad.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And now here's where I wanted to make a what's
- 18:10Speaker 1: it called prediction. Prediction. So one of the scenes, Hannah
- 18:15Speaker 1: is working at the arena while there is a game
- 18:19Speaker 1: on and she's working. She's like counting some money in
- 18:22Speaker 1: the till, right, and there's these two men that I
- 18:26Speaker 1: think are playing. They might they play for a different team,
- 18:28Speaker 1: but they they're watching the game and they're kind of
- 18:30Speaker 1: talking about how like Garrett's having a bad game and
- 18:33Speaker 1: he was having a shit game, right, And then she
- 18:36Speaker 1: hears one of the guys be like, oh, hey, says
- 18:39Speaker 1: the other dude's name, and then she has a flashback
- 18:43Speaker 1: of that guy at like an arena of something like that,
- 18:49Speaker 1: like she knows him. And then she kind of like
- 18:52Speaker 1: freezes and has a bit of a panic attack and
- 18:56Speaker 1: then buggers off to go get some time to herself.
- 18:59Speaker 1: And I think that that guy may have sexually assaulted her. Okay,
- 19:09Speaker 1: that's what I'm thinking. Okay, that's what I That's where
- 19:13Speaker 1: I think it's going. And that's why she hates hockey
- 19:16Speaker 1: because he's a hockey player.
- 19:17Speaker 3: That makes a lot of sense. I was thinking because
- 19:20Speaker 3: she was from a split up family too. We find
- 19:22Speaker 3: that out wish she.
- 19:23Speaker 1: From a split of family. I can't remember. I was
- 19:26Speaker 1: thinking he might be the other partner's son, Okay, okay,
- 19:30Speaker 1: and he's done something similar or maybe just like bullied
- 19:33Speaker 1: her maybe bit this sort of reaction that the reaction
- 19:36Speaker 1: I got was like frozen had to get out of there,
- 19:39Speaker 1: and that that's my prediction at least.
- 19:42Speaker 3: But after that, Hannah goes in. There's like a common
- 19:46Speaker 3: room underneath the arena with musical instruments, and she's a
- 19:50Speaker 3: music major, and she finds the keyboard and starts playing
- 19:53Speaker 3: like these old tunes.
- 19:54Speaker 1: She finds a full piano just down for some reason,
- 19:56Speaker 1: like a in like the ice hockey like sheds, and
- 19:59Speaker 1: this is it, like time of the hockey match, and.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Garrett's all angry because he's playing bad, because he's distracted
- 20:04Speaker 3: because his dad's putting too much pressure on him, his
- 20:06Speaker 3: dad's got a new partner, blah blah blah. And she's there,
- 20:10Speaker 3: this vibe and now being unapologetically herself, just not knowing
- 20:14Speaker 3: anyone else in the world exists, and there's Graham having
- 20:16Speaker 3: a little look at her, and she doesn't even notice.
- 20:21Speaker 2: And what ends up happening is Graham kind of.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Used that as a way to reset his game, and
- 20:29Speaker 3: he comes back out after seeing her. What she's doing
- 20:32Speaker 3: and her being herself makes him play really really well.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah, he don't notice how much she was enjoying just
- 20:39Speaker 1: like playing along to a song and life.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like the distraction he needed.
- 20:43Speaker 3: And then after the match she scored they won like six'
- 20:46Speaker 3: two or.
- 20:46Speaker 1: Something, basically the way That garrett And hannah have anything
- 20:52Speaker 1: to do with each other is that at the, beginning
- 20:54Speaker 1: near the beginning of the, episode they're in this class
- 20:56Speaker 1: where everyone fails except For. Hannah she gets AN a.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Plus garrett sees over a shoulder, like oh my, god
- 21:02Speaker 1: you aced, it like and then she they walk out
- 21:04Speaker 1: and he's kind of Like mona he's like walking out
- 21:07Speaker 1: trying to get, it and she's Like, Mona. Mona she turns.
- 21:10Speaker 1: Around she's like, what Who's. Mona she's, like that's not my.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Name he's like oh starts with AN m though, Right
- 21:15Speaker 1: she's like, No i'm close. Anyway he's, LIKE i need
- 21:19Speaker 1: you to two to, me and she just goes like,
- 21:22Speaker 1: nah bugger. Off and so then the reason they have
- 21:25Speaker 1: anything to do with each other is because so throughout
- 21:27Speaker 1: the first, episode when they do bump into each other AT,
- 21:29Speaker 1: uni he's like i'll pay, you like, please do, it, please,
- 21:32Speaker 1: please and she's just like, no Like i'm not doing. It.
- 21:35Speaker 1: No and then, finally now all this has, happened where
- 21:40Speaker 1: after the, game we'd a big university block party here freaking. Sick,
- 21:45Speaker 1: yeah it's. Cool looks like it's like a.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Festival fantasy is.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Cool and so where, There hannah's friend convinces her to
- 21:53Speaker 1: come because justin her main crush is. There she's like
- 21:57Speaker 1: crushing to just look at him From afar and daydream
- 22:03Speaker 1: and she's there and they convince her to go talk
- 22:07Speaker 1: to him because he's there. Alone so she's going over
- 22:09Speaker 1: talking to him and she's being very like messing up
- 22:12Speaker 1: her words and, stuff and this justin, guy to be,
- 22:15Speaker 1: fair is just the most nonchalant like, acting you, know
- 22:18Speaker 1: didn't have much substance of, justin no substance at. All
- 22:21Speaker 1: and right before it after the. Game this is after the, Game,
- 22:25Speaker 1: Remember garrett goes and finally is like trying to find
- 22:29Speaker 1: Who hannah is because he doesn't know her. Name and
- 22:31Speaker 1: one of his friends comes over and he goes over
- 22:33Speaker 1: there because he can see. Her he's like the waitress
- 22:36Speaker 1: from like the, diner what's her? Name and his friend's,
- 22:40Speaker 1: like It's. Hannah she's waited on us like a thousand.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Times And garrett's, like, really this guy's just fucking self.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Absorbed and then all he thinks about, hockey oh, yeah
- 22:49Speaker 1: like it's crazy and he gets women like women throw
- 22:52Speaker 1: themselves at. Him and so he goes and he looks
- 22:55Speaker 1: up in his following List hannah and he finds her following,
- 22:59Speaker 1: him and so he's kind of like you can tell
- 23:02Speaker 1: at this, point like he's starting to have a bit
- 23:03Speaker 1: of a crush on. Her, Yeah and so he finds
- 23:06Speaker 1: and he smirks a little like when he finds out
- 23:08Speaker 1: she's following. Him and then While hannah's like stumbling her
- 23:11Speaker 1: words with This justin guy who's like a musician in a,
- 23:13Speaker 1: band also pretty. Attractive he right before water gets spilt on.
- 23:19Speaker 1: Her so Then garrett comes, over puts his jacket on
- 23:23Speaker 1: her and he's, like, oh, babe like there you, are
- 23:25Speaker 1: LIKE i saw that water get spilled on, you bl
- 23:26Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah. Blah and then she's kind of
- 23:28Speaker 1: like what she's like wigging out and he's acting like her. Boyfriend,
- 23:31Speaker 1: Right so then This justin guy gets jealous because she
- 23:34Speaker 1: he can see that she Likes. Justin. Yeah and then
- 23:38Speaker 1: Finally justin leaves or. Whatever they say nice to meet,
- 23:40Speaker 1: you and she's like what was that?
- 23:41Speaker 2: About what was?
- 23:41Speaker 1: That and he was like you're, welcome by the, Way.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Hannah she's, like.
- 23:44Speaker 2: How do you know my?
- 23:45Speaker 1: Name all of a sudden and he's like why WOULDN'T
- 23:46Speaker 1: I and then he's like fucking the smoothest man on
- 23:51Speaker 1: the bro the smoothest man on the. Planet he's, like
- 23:58Speaker 1: she's got his jacket. On he kind of touches her,
- 24:01Speaker 1: waist brings her, closer and he's, like, look let's make a.
- 24:03Speaker 1: DEAL i need to ace this class and she's like oh.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Yeah and then at this, point like the, acting the,
- 24:12Speaker 1: WRITING i don't. Know the tension was fucking. Insane this
- 24:15Speaker 1: shit got me, Going i'm not gonna lie to. You
- 24:17Speaker 1: he's like looking down at her and he's, LIKE i
- 24:20Speaker 1: don't believe in. Favors and then he SAYS i need
- 24:24Speaker 1: to pass his, class and so she's kind of like
- 24:25Speaker 1: putting two, together two and two. Together, Sorry so she's,
- 24:27Speaker 1: like what we fake? Date so we make justin jealous
- 24:33Speaker 1: and then you get tutoring and he's, like sounds like
- 24:36Speaker 1: a deal to. Me she's, like we stopped pay me
- 24:38Speaker 1: AND i was like, valid by the, way and so
- 24:39Speaker 1: then she's going. In she's, like, oh well you need to,
- 24:43Speaker 1: remember and she goes in to kiss him and then
- 24:45Speaker 1: kind of just last, second dips up and just kind
- 24:48Speaker 1: of gives him a. Hug and THEN i don't EVEN.
- 24:51Speaker 3: I was just like she, said, Deal, yeah yeah she.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Did she goes deal she. Did she just went from
- 24:56Speaker 1: like scared and, timid like confident and sixty as fuck
- 25:01Speaker 1: and boss o.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Wit it Was.
- 25:05Speaker 1: I'm not gonna. LIE i was fucking losing my.

- 27:12Speaker 3: Off yeah, yeah which is. Healthy but, anyway here's a.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Dilemma hey, boys love the. Pod, now this dilemma is
- 27:24Speaker 3: a bit of a long. One i'll give some. Backstory
- 27:27Speaker 3: my housemate In, brackett who is also my, friend has
- 27:30Speaker 3: been seeing a guy for over three months. Now it
- 27:33Speaker 3: casually started Before christmas in twenty twenty, five and that
- 27:37Speaker 3: has continued at a slow pace until current. Date they
- 27:40Speaker 3: maybe see each other once a week if, that and
- 27:42Speaker 3: it's normally just the two of, them not around other.
- 27:44Speaker 3: People he sometimes comes over to our, house but it's
- 27:47Speaker 3: extremely awkward AND i find it very hard to converse with.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Him he doesn't engage in open conversations and can be quite.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Blunt there's no flirtatious behavior in front of, us but
- 27:57Speaker 3: she does tell me that they do flirt behind closed.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Doors my issue is, This they are attending a wedding
- 28:03Speaker 3: together in a few weeks and my friend informs me
- 28:06Speaker 3: she brings up in convert that what or how should
- 28:09Speaker 3: she introduce him to, people to which he, REPLIES i
- 28:15Speaker 3: guess your boyfriend and that was. It he didn't properly
- 28:19Speaker 3: ask her to be his, girlfriend and she tells me
- 28:21Speaker 3: she's okay with. THAT i think she's convinced herself that
- 28:24Speaker 3: she's okay with, it but deep DOWN i know she
- 28:26Speaker 3: would have loved if he actually asked.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Her do you.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Think that women are lowering their standards for men because
- 28:33Speaker 3: level the effort levels have dropped significantly over the years
- 28:36Speaker 3: due to online? Dating Or AM i just triggered Because
- 28:39Speaker 3: i'm a man hater who has a very great boyfriend who.
- 28:42Speaker 1: Actually asked her to be his. Girlfriend, NO i think the.
- 28:47Speaker 1: Answer short answer is, yes women lower their. Standards, YES i.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Agree short answer is definitely Women that women definitely lower their,
- 28:53Speaker 1: standards and you're not just a man. Hater you don't hate, men, Boyfriend,
- 29:01Speaker 1: yeah you just hate ship.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Man my girlfriend says that.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Too she's, Like i'm a. Man my girlfriend says his
- 29:05Speaker 1: man had To but like in, short in, short, women
- 29:09Speaker 1: heterosexual women are not men. Haters, no they're shipman. Haters
- 29:12Speaker 1: like that's which is.
- 29:13Speaker 3: Fine it's hard though, too because LIKE i feel bad
- 29:17Speaker 3: with this girl because she like likes his, dude and
- 29:19Speaker 3: then she's. Done you can't really, say go back and
- 29:21Speaker 3: ask me.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Again, no, Yeah like it's it's just if your friend's
- 29:25Speaker 1: saying she's, like hey with, it then you've you've got
- 29:27Speaker 1: to got to take her word for. It but if
- 29:28Speaker 1: you know for a fact she's not okay with, it
- 29:30Speaker 1: but like then you can bring that up and be, like,
- 29:31Speaker 1: LOOK i feel like you're not okay with. IT i
- 29:32Speaker 1: think that was pretty shitty thing of him to. Do
- 29:35Speaker 1: you can you can show her that you you see
- 29:38Speaker 1: how she's feeling or whatever that you could say. That
- 29:40Speaker 1: BUT i don't know what your dilemma is, Here like
- 29:42Speaker 1: what are you gonna say tell her to break up
- 29:43Speaker 1: with the, guy and she.
- 29:44Speaker 2: One thing to.
- 29:45Speaker 3: DO i think it's just hard for a friend to,
- 29:46Speaker 3: see like outside there will you be my? Girlfriend a
- 29:50Speaker 3: man treating a woman? Badly, yeah and like it's, hard
- 29:54Speaker 3: like the consider treating her. Badly it's just low, effort
- 29:57Speaker 3: which is not good to be.
- 29:58Speaker 1: SAD i guess you could say that's in in turn
- 30:00Speaker 1: treating and like what can you do because it's not
- 30:02Speaker 1: up to The so this girl who is now in
- 30:04Speaker 1: a relationship evidently probably isn't. Happy it shouldn't be up
- 30:08Speaker 1: to her to be like, hey like look that was
- 30:09Speaker 1: a fucking piss poor. EFFORT i do really love, you
- 30:12Speaker 1: but do it, Again like you can't really say, that
- 30:14Speaker 1: but you should be able to say. THAT i mean
- 30:16Speaker 1: she should say. That she wants to say it like.
- 30:20Speaker 3: You AND i suppose how he takes that is if
- 30:23Speaker 3: he actually is a good, man because if he gets
- 30:24Speaker 3: offended by, that but it is what it.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Is we're just like hanging out all the.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Time, yeah so here's the, thing, right he.
- 30:32Speaker 2: We don't know how.
- 30:35Speaker 3: He was planning on doing, it but it seems like
- 30:38Speaker 3: he wasn't planning on doing. It then he's, like, oh like,
- 30:40Speaker 3: WELL i guess you're just my. Goverrimend then like she
- 30:43Speaker 3: invited him to a.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Wedding is it the wedding that? Yeah yea, yeah she,
- 30:49Speaker 1: said how AM i going to introduce him to? People?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Like how AM i going to introduce you to? People?
- 30:52Speaker 1: Like she invited him to a? WEDDING i don't, know
- 30:56Speaker 1: it's kind of. Fun. Look WHAT i was going to
- 30:58Speaker 1: say was like she hadn't asked her, yet, no, right
- 31:04Speaker 1: and she a guest doesn't have a clear answer on
- 31:11Speaker 1: what they are, yet and so it's, like maybe inviting
- 31:17Speaker 1: him to the wedding was the right thing to do
- 31:19Speaker 1: because it kicks meet likes, it she Likes but the
- 31:23Speaker 1: thing is, like you don't know what you are?
- 31:26Speaker 2: Yet, no and.
- 31:27Speaker 1: You've invited him to a wedding if by this point
- 31:32Speaker 1: you have said to yourself that you want to know
- 31:36Speaker 1: what you are and he hasn't asked, You, like where
- 31:39Speaker 1: my mind is going is that we we posted something
- 31:43Speaker 1: On instagram and someone had some really good advice about,
- 31:45Speaker 1: it and it was a girlfriend spoke to a boyfriend
- 31:48Speaker 1: about pawn because and it was a little while into
- 31:51Speaker 1: their relationship and he was, like, oh, yeah, YEAH i
- 31:53Speaker 1: do watch it and she was kind of, Like i'm
- 31:54Speaker 1: not a fan of. That and then he said he
- 31:57Speaker 1: won't do it, anymore but she caught him doing, it
- 32:00Speaker 1: and so she goes on to say that she said to,
- 32:04Speaker 1: Herself i'm gonna stop checking his phone Because i'm not
- 32:06Speaker 1: going to break up with, Him but she's still upset
- 32:09Speaker 1: about the porn. Thing someone gave some really good advice,
- 32:12Speaker 1: saying of course that boundary can be set right the.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Thing the person that did the wrong thing is the
- 32:19Speaker 1: boyfriend and cross to that boundary by watching porn again
- 32:22Speaker 1: and not telling. You but you also have to set a.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Boundary like the boundary goes both. Ways if you set
- 32:29Speaker 1: a boundary SAYING i don't want you to watch, porn
- 32:31Speaker 1: and then he watches it and you don't break up
- 32:33Speaker 1: with him the boundary of, yourself then it's like you
- 32:35Speaker 1: also you also are letting him cross that, boundary and
- 32:38Speaker 1: then he's going to keep doing, It so it's like
- 32:39Speaker 1: you need to break up with, him, Right and SO
- 32:41Speaker 1: i thought that advice was really really. Good so the
- 32:45Speaker 1: boundaries for yourself as. Well so What i'm trying to
- 32:47Speaker 1: get at is LIKE i assume at some point there
- 32:52Speaker 1: was a thing in your head where you're, like, OH
- 32:53Speaker 1: i wish he would ask me to be his. BOYFRIEND
- 32:55Speaker 1: i think your friend must have said this to, herself
- 32:56Speaker 1: LIKE i wish you would ask me to be his. Girlfriend,
- 32:59Speaker 1: sorry and LIKE i just, think like why did you
- 33:04Speaker 1: invite him to the? Wedding is kind of What i'm
- 33:06Speaker 1: trying to get, At But i'm, like you know WHAT i, Mean,
- 33:08Speaker 1: like why did you invite into the wedding if he
- 33:10Speaker 1: isn't going to, actually.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Ah, yeah you almost had. It it was if you
- 33:15Speaker 2: it's hard because.
- 33:15Speaker 3: This is not this isn't sent in from the perspective
- 33:18Speaker 3: of the battery who got. Asked, yeah but pretend it.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Did and if you had in your head that you
- 33:22Speaker 3: want to be asked out by your boyfriend and then
- 33:23Speaker 3: they do, this you, say, no that's the.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Boundary you let him cross the.
- 33:27Speaker 3: Boundary, yeah it's like he but that's saying she's it's,
- 33:31Speaker 3: hard you, Know.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Okay What i'm trying to get at is like, you.
- 33:38Speaker 2: It's hard because it's also like you think he's still all.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Right, basically What i'm trying to say is when she
- 33:46Speaker 1: said to, him what AM i going to introduce you?
- 33:47Speaker 1: As and he was like your? Boyfriend like she should
- 33:51Speaker 1: have just been like that was fucking, Shit like do?
- 33:54Speaker 1: Better Or i'm. Leaving but, again this dilemma is sent
- 33:57Speaker 1: in from her friend looking in on the, outside so
- 33:59Speaker 1: it's really it's quite, Difficult LIKE i don't really know
- 34:02Speaker 1: what the dilemma.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Is, No, NO i think it was just she asks
- 34:06Speaker 3: everything we're talking, about like why is this?
- 34:08Speaker 2: Happening BUT i.
- 34:09Speaker 3: Don't also like that because LIKE i guess you can say,
- 34:14Speaker 3: that but like you shouldn't have to say.
- 34:16Speaker 1: It, no you shouldn't have to say, it like you
- 34:18Speaker 1: should she should.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Like if she that makes me sad that like if
- 34:21Speaker 3: a god did this to you and you have to,
- 34:22Speaker 3: say fucking, hell that's ship do it again or. Else
- 34:25Speaker 3: i'm not, saying, yes you just. Peel but then he's
- 34:27Speaker 3: like but then in the back of, heah he's like
- 34:29Speaker 3: otherwise he's. Okay but that just annoys.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Me, yeah it's really annoying because that you you are, right.
- 34:33Speaker 3: It's not up to. Her and then also he's not
- 34:36Speaker 3: a ship, man but he also is a. Shipman, yeah,
- 34:38Speaker 3: yeah like.
- 34:39Speaker 1: He like he again he's benefiting from all the other
- 34:42Speaker 1: shipmen out. There like he doesn't hit, Her, yeah he
- 34:45Speaker 1: doesn't assume he doesn't fucking yell at her all the
- 34:47Speaker 1: time or like blah blah blah blah. Blah but WHAT
- 34:51Speaker 1: i would say as a friend looking on the, outside
- 34:55Speaker 1: the only thing you could do is be honest with your.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Friend you could say from the INFORMATION i, have right
- 35:08Speaker 1: from the STUFF i know about you as a, friend
- 35:10Speaker 1: and what like you would in the past have told
- 35:14Speaker 1: me you want from a. RELATIONSHIP i think he can't
- 35:17Speaker 1: give you, that AND i think you're lowering your standards
- 35:19Speaker 1: for him, then or that that's all you have to,
- 35:23Speaker 1: say because if she, says, well you're, WRONG i want
- 35:26Speaker 1: to be with, him that's when you have to, Say, look,
- 35:28Speaker 1: okay that's. FINE i just ALL i wanted to do
- 35:30Speaker 1: is just say WHAT i, think But i'm, wrong and
- 35:33Speaker 1: then at least your friend knows that that's an observation
- 35:36Speaker 1: you have, made and then she can only make her
- 35:38Speaker 1: own decision from there.
- 35:39Speaker 3: FORWARD i think that's.
- 35:40Speaker 1: Great that's the THING i think of at least rest of.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Us my boyfriend is still following his ex girlfriend On
- 35:46Speaker 1: instagram and speaks to her from time to, time or
- 35:50Speaker 1: they send each other. Reels oh, DANG i feel like
- 35:54Speaker 1: sending each INTIMATE i don't need to hear. MORE i
- 35:57Speaker 1: feel like that's, intimate real is no go and. WHO
- 36:00Speaker 1: a bit ago earlier in our, relationship he still had
- 36:04Speaker 1: her pick on the wall with him and his, brothers
- 36:07Speaker 1: and had picks of them still on his phone that
- 36:11Speaker 1: would show up in a. Slideshow after a, WHILE i
- 36:14Speaker 1: asked him to get rid of, them and it wasn't
- 36:16Speaker 1: until the third TIME i brought it. Up he finally
- 36:19Speaker 1: got rid of, it only BECAUSE i made a big.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Deal THEN i found out he had a handwritten sign
- 36:26Speaker 1: from her on the wall still and asked him to
- 36:30Speaker 1: get rid of. It WHEN i asked him why did
- 36:32Speaker 1: he still have all of this when he KNOWS i
- 36:34Speaker 1: don't like, it he said he doesn't think about. IT
- 36:38Speaker 1: i asked him to unfollow his ex since she lives
- 36:41Speaker 1: in a completely different. Country he said, no and that
- 36:45Speaker 1: is mean he. Won't so we made a deal that
- 36:49Speaker 1: he needs to tell me everything they message each. OTHER
- 36:52Speaker 1: i found out the other day that they recently did
- 36:56Speaker 1: and he didn't tell. ME i wasn't. SNOOPING i was
- 36:59Speaker 1: just getting him to watch the REELS i. Sent THEN
- 37:01Speaker 1: i confronted him and he said he was really sorry
- 37:04Speaker 1: and wanted to tell me in, person but every time
- 37:06Speaker 1: we are together he didn't think about. It that's a whole.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Reel drop this. Man. Please, Okay here's the thing about
- 37:16Speaker 1: this dilemma is how DO I.
- 37:26Speaker 2: It's boundaries?
- 37:26Speaker 1: Again it is it's a boundary thing, Again, like so,
- 37:32Speaker 1: LOOK i don't think you should break up with him
- 37:34Speaker 1: because he still has, Photos like if someone wants to
- 37:38Speaker 1: keep photos like then, honestly by all means if that
- 37:45Speaker 1: is what you want to, do and if, you as
- 37:47Speaker 1: a girlfriend were okay with it and thought, like, yeah
- 37:50Speaker 1: he had a life before, me he has, Photos like
- 37:53Speaker 1: if he goes and actively deletes, them then, like that's
- 37:55Speaker 1: up to, him but he doesn't have to Because i'm
- 37:57Speaker 1: gonna make. Him but you asked him to do these,
- 38:00Speaker 1: things and he did, them and then you made a
- 38:04Speaker 1: deal that if he was to message his ex girlfriend
- 38:06Speaker 1: that he would tell you about. It he did, it
- 38:10Speaker 1: didn't tell you about, it and now you're, LIKE i,
- 38:16Speaker 1: think probably what DO i? Do once, again the boundary
- 38:20Speaker 1: needs to be set for, him but it also needs
- 38:22Speaker 1: to be set for.
- 38:22Speaker 3: Yourself, yeah it's a big learning, curve you know WHAT i?
- 38:25Speaker 1: Mean, like if you're not going to break up with
- 38:28Speaker 1: him because of, this then that means that you can't
- 38:32Speaker 1: keep making a big deal out of.
- 38:33Speaker 2: It which sounds.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Harsh which sounds, harsh but like to you this is
- 38:38Speaker 1: something you don't.
- 38:39Speaker 3: Like, yeah and showing empathy, though like it seems like
- 38:41Speaker 3: such a hard thing to break up with someone.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Over if they just message THEIR.
- 38:45Speaker 3: X but the clear boundary you have set has been
- 38:48Speaker 3: broken by. Him, yes it's a boundary of yourself which
- 38:51Speaker 3: is worth so much more than it. Seems so that's
- 38:54Speaker 3: that's the. Thing and also just the way he, sounds
- 38:56Speaker 3: just the way you've written that makes it seem like
- 38:58Speaker 3: he doesn't respect.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You it's a weird. One, yeah it seems like, no
- 39:02Speaker 1: that would be he doesn't he doesn't see where you're coming.
- 39:04Speaker 1: From he doesn't appreciate how you. Feel he doesn't seem
- 39:07Speaker 1: like a nice. Boyfriend he doesn't seem like a nice. Man,
- 39:10Speaker 1: look we're on the. Record, sorry we're on the record saying,
- 39:14Speaker 1: like just fuck the photos, off, Right, YEAH i don't.
- 39:18Speaker 1: Know it's something something THAT i. Do like with my,
- 39:20Speaker 1: EX i deleted all the photos BECAUSE i was just
- 39:22Speaker 1: like fuck. IT i delete them in like M i
- 39:24Speaker 1: don't even ever go back and look at, them but
- 39:26Speaker 1: they could still be there AND i would still completely
- 39:28Speaker 1: have no feelings for my. Ex but LIKE i just
- 39:29Speaker 1: went and deleted them because that's WHAT i wanted to.
- 39:32Speaker 2: Do, yeah my boundary would be.
- 39:34Speaker 3: Photos IF i, said, say for some, Reason cassie went
- 39:36Speaker 3: up to a ten thousand photo and the, boyfriend her
- 39:39Speaker 3: ex boyfriend was, there AND i, said, Hey i'm not
- 39:40Speaker 3: comfortable with, that and she, GOES i want to keep
- 39:42Speaker 3: it for the. Man i'll be, like, ooh that's a
- 39:47Speaker 3: line THAT i can't really. CROSS i feel like that
- 39:49Speaker 3: doesn't make me very comfortable that that's Your, yeah that's my,
- 39:52Speaker 3: line you, know like she would understand How i'm. Feeling she, but,
- 39:56Speaker 3: Oh i'm so sorry to REALIZED i was. There i'm
- 39:57Speaker 3: going to delete. That but she's, like, no that would be,
- 39:59Speaker 3: Mean like what the fuck are you? Talking there's so
- 40:01Speaker 3: many arguments for. It it's like you could be, like
- 40:04Speaker 3: but that's What i'm trying, Emphasize, like your boundary can
- 40:07Speaker 3: be whatever the fuck you want it to.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Be it's.
- 40:09Speaker 3: Yours, yeah no one's in your head and that's valid to,
- 40:12Speaker 3: you and just stand by.
- 40:13Speaker 2: That no one can tell you you're wrong because you.
- 40:17Speaker 1: It's a good. Point, yeah you, know like you made
- 40:19Speaker 1: you just it's very hard to accept that you're not
- 40:21Speaker 1: compatible with the person you think you. Love, yeah oh,
- 40:23Speaker 1: yeah that's the hardest thing to. Accept have the hardest thing, ever.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Boundaries so, episode this is the fucking episode of. Boundaries
- 40:33Speaker 1: look WHAT i would say is you and this guy
- 40:44Speaker 1: don't belong. Together yeah, Yeah NO i don't think so.
- 40:47Speaker 1: EITHER i mean to, me it seems like a big of,
- 40:50Speaker 1: that meaning you clearly don't want him to have contact
- 40:52Speaker 1: contact with HIS. X and he's, like, No i'm gonna do.
- 40:56Speaker 1: That that's, Me, like that's not something you. Want you
- 41:00Speaker 1: don't want that in a, Relationship like what the?
- 41:01Speaker 3: Fuck all, right, baddies thank you for, Listening, jake riddle me?
- 41:11Speaker 1: Please all? Right what Has wait a? SECOND i feel
- 41:21Speaker 1: LIKE i could get a good one going.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Here, yeah.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Okay the point of this was to make sure you
- 41:24Speaker 1: realize this is unreasonable to ask the baddies for a.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Riddle see if you can do any. Good though you
- 41:29Speaker 2: never proved me, Wrong you never know.
- 41:30Speaker 1: If baddies out there just like having a, riddle prove me.
