- 0:00Speaker 1: It's the Mark Simon Show on sevent TENR.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Well the Great talk show host comedian Jimmy Fayla. He
- 0:08Speaker 2: does a great show. It's on WR now every night
- 0:12Speaker 2: nine to midnight, every weeknight nine to midnight. Check it
- 0:15Speaker 2: out tonight. He also does the best late night show
- 0:17Speaker 2: on TV Saturday nights ten o'clock on the Fox News Channel.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla, How you doing?
- 0:25Speaker 1: I'm doing good, Mark. I was thrilled to hear Trump
- 0:27Speaker 1: make a deal with Hamas. Did you hear how he
- 0:30Speaker 1: got it done? Yeah?
- 0:31Speaker 2: No, how do you get here?
- 0:32Speaker 1: YEA? Well, you know, obviously Netanyahu had been attacking the
- 0:35Speaker 1: bombingum quitty aggressively, but Trump said if they didn't sign,
- 0:38Speaker 1: he was going to send over Katie Porter and they
- 0:42Speaker 1: didn't want to tangle with her. If you saw that interview,
- 0:45Speaker 1: she's a fierce fighting force.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah, she's also the one who's doing a podcast and
- 0:49Speaker 2: somebody was in the way. Get that out of my
- 0:51Speaker 2: FN shot. But to be monster, to be fair, you
- 0:58Speaker 2: work on TV. How many times through the years of
- 1:00Speaker 2: you heard a host yell at somebody like that?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Oh, I got to tell you. Yeah. The thing is that.
- 1:06Speaker 1: The thing is I know it goes on. But what
- 1:09Speaker 1: you see on her is that is just her vibe.
- 1:12Speaker 1: Like she wasn't yelling because someone was in her shot.
- 1:15Speaker 1: She was yelling because she yells. I know the difference
- 1:18Speaker 1: between the person who's like not happy with the way
- 1:20Speaker 1: things are going and a person who is just not happy.
- 1:25Speaker 2: She kind of has that energy. Yeah, and she's a Democrat.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Will she get out of the race? I guess she
- 1:31Speaker 2: has to now.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I don't know. The other guy didn't drop out for
- 1:35Speaker 1: saying he wants to kill his opponent. I don't know
- 1:38Speaker 1: what Barr is actually probably not. I mean, I guess
- 1:42Speaker 1: her biggest crime is she didn't say it in the
- 1:44Speaker 1: text message, So I don't know. I don't know.
- 1:47Speaker 2: It could be Jimmy Fayler. Were you at the Yankee
- 1:50Speaker 2: game last night?
- 1:52Speaker 1: You better believe it. And you know what I noticed
- 1:56Speaker 1: is Yankee Stadium obviously, Uh, you know, tough loss. We
- 1:59Speaker 1: wanted win that game. And I have formerly called now
- 2:02Speaker 1: that Toronto beat US. I have called Trump and demanded
- 2:05Speaker 1: that he invade Canada, which I think should happen two
- 2:09Speaker 1: hundred percent tariffs whatever we got.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Uh, but you kind of could see that coming, couldn't you?
- 2:16Speaker 1: The Yeah, I mean this, this this team has been
- 2:19Speaker 1: pretty inconsistent all year. I mean, but what do you
- 2:22Speaker 1: want for three hundred and twenty million dollars? You know,
- 2:24Speaker 1: It's like maybe if we were giving these guys some money.
- 2:27Speaker 1: You know, It's like these guys got enough stress from
- 2:31Speaker 1: trying to live on those forty million dollars salaries. It's like,
- 2:34Speaker 1: you know, when when's there sat one of the salad days,
- 2:37Speaker 1: going to come in for the for Anthony Fulty and
- 2:40Speaker 1: that supermodel.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Girlfriend is you know, hey, I was the game was over,
- 2:45Speaker 2: but I didn't know it was over. Like he struck
- 2:47Speaker 2: out the guys. This is that two outset to the
- 2:49Speaker 2: crowd was just silent, There was no What was it
- 2:51Speaker 2: like in the stadium? Did everybody just silently file out?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah? Well, in my section, I was in right field,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and I don't know, I don't know if you know this,
- 3:00Speaker 1: but everyone in right field drinks like they're pledging a fraternity. Okay,
- 3:05Speaker 1: So in my section, the rest of the stadium was,
- 3:08Speaker 1: as you just said, it was like a seance, okay.
- 3:12Speaker 1: But my section continued to hurl profanities at the other
- 3:16Speaker 1: players even after they had left. Like if you ever
- 3:19Speaker 1: you ever walk down the street and see a guy
- 3:21Speaker 1: arguing with a parking meter. This guy's out to lunch.
- 3:25Speaker 1: That was Section one oh five and Yankee Stadium last night.
- 3:28Speaker 1: They were lunatics crazy. But the one nice thing is
- 3:32Speaker 1: on the way out, you know, everybody was in a
- 3:35Speaker 1: bad enough mood that I didn't have to stop and
- 3:37Speaker 1: take a bunch of you know, like fifty pictures. There's
- 3:40Speaker 1: a lot of Fox fans at Yankee Stadium, and everybody
- 3:43Speaker 1: is I'm very friendly. I love, genuinely love meeting people,
- 3:47Speaker 1: but I'm bad at un meeting them. Meaning if someone
- 3:50Speaker 1: comes up to me and says, well they watch the show.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I talked to them for thirteen minutes and I get
- 3:53Speaker 1: home at two in the morning and my wife thinks
- 3:55Speaker 1: I was in a gentleman's club or something, and I'm like, no,
- 3:57Speaker 1: I was actually hanging out with a fifty year old
- 3:59Speaker 1: man was wearing a baseball myth. The complete opposite of
- 4:03Speaker 1: getting women. Uh.
- 4:06Speaker 2: You know, when those fans come up to you, you can't stop.
- 4:08Speaker 2: I mean, you can talk and say nice things, but
- 4:10Speaker 2: you got to keep moving. You can't stop or your corner.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, you got to. You gotta learn that
- 4:15Speaker 1: I haven't been. I haven't been like a public figure
- 4:18Speaker 1: for as long as you've been a famous person like
- 4:20Speaker 1: I watched. I've watched you get in and out of
- 4:22Speaker 1: Fox a few times. Now, you're good at it. I'm
- 4:24Speaker 1: learning and it helped. I was on the road with Hannity.
- 4:26Speaker 1: It helped too. I think that's why he learned karate,
- 4:29Speaker 1: because you know, he's so tired of getting groped by
- 4:30Speaker 1: these old ladies at the book signings. He just busts
- 4:33Speaker 1: out around out.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Hannity's the best at getting out, you know, through the
- 4:36Speaker 2: service entrance, out the the loading dock. He was perfect.
- 4:40Speaker 2: So you got to do that. But well, when you're
- 4:42Speaker 2: that big, you got to do that kind of stuff. Hey,
- 4:44Speaker 2: uh uh, what AOC? I love that fight AOC had
- 4:48Speaker 2: with Stephen Miller and she said, well, here's only four
- 4:51Speaker 2: foot eleven. What the hell is she talking about?
- 4:54Speaker 1: You know, I laughed about that on Ingram. I tweeted
- 4:57Speaker 1: this too, forgive me. But you know, she said he
- 5:00Speaker 1: was four foot ten. He's five foot ten, so I said,
- 5:03Speaker 1: this is actually progress. She was only off by a
- 5:05Speaker 1: foot on his height, where she was off by forty
- 5:08Speaker 1: miles when she said she grew up in the Bronx.
- 5:11Speaker 1: That was really think about that.
- 5:13Speaker 2: That's a pretty big lie about a tough kid from
- 5:15Speaker 2: the Bronx. It turns out she's from Yorktown Heights, which
- 5:17Speaker 2: is a beautiful suburb.
- 5:19Speaker 1: A one a gorgeous suburb. A one hundred and fifty
- 5:23Speaker 1: five dollars cab ride from the Bronx. If you were
- 5:26Speaker 1: to leave the Bronx like one hundred and sixty second
- 5:29Speaker 1: in River Avenue by Yankee Stadium and drive to Yorktown Heights,
- 5:32Speaker 1: you're going to pay one hundred and fifty five dollars. Now,
- 5:34Speaker 1: if there's if it's if you know surge pricing, Uber's
- 5:37Speaker 1: going to charge your four thy three hundred and twelve dollars.
- 5:40Speaker 1: But a taxi, a taxi one fifty five. So yes,
- 5:44Speaker 1: the enormity of that front. Like, you know, it's bad
- 5:46Speaker 1: when Elizabeth Warren's calling you a fraud in her teepee,
- 5:50Speaker 1: that's not good. Hey.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Speaking of cab rights, you know this new lift wants
- 5:55Speaker 2: a new policy where you know, the driver can see
- 5:57Speaker 2: you're rating. Now, the driver can see you're tipping his
- 6:00Speaker 2: street to see how you tip?
- 6:01Speaker 1: Is that right?
- 6:02Speaker 2: Is that fair?
- 6:03Speaker 1: Uh? That's well I could tell you this. I think
- 6:06Speaker 1: it's not accurate because I don't tip on the app.
- 6:10Speaker 1: I give them cash. So it's really interesting. My passenger
- 6:14Speaker 1: rating is five stars because I tip these guys. Like
- 6:16Speaker 1: I said, I have survivors guilt from being a cab driver,
- 6:19Speaker 1: so I tip. I tip cab drivers to the point
- 6:22Speaker 1: that they think I'm romantically interested in them. They're like, wow,
- 6:25Speaker 1: this is wow. I must have really hit it off
- 6:27Speaker 1: with their Scott. I'm giving them everything I have though
- 6:30Speaker 1: I have a five star Uber rating, but what you
- 6:32Speaker 1: just said had never dawned on me. I've never tipped
- 6:34Speaker 1: on the app once. Oh but they give you a
- 6:36Speaker 1: good rating just because you've tipped cash just the same.
- 6:39Speaker 1: So I don't know if they can accurately do it
- 6:41Speaker 1: unless the guys have to enter, which they probably don't
- 6:44Speaker 1: want to enter. That you might have gave them forty
- 6:46Speaker 1: or fifty bucks because that's more income they got to claim.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, well, a lot of passengers want this thing overturned.
- 6:52Speaker 2: They don't want this thing to exist. But if it sticks,
- 6:55Speaker 2: you got to figure Uber will do it next too soon.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Oh yeah, there's it. It's the copycat medium, just the same.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Hey, you got to listen to. Jimmy Failey does a
- 7:03Speaker 2: great show every night nine to midnight on w o R.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It's excellent. What what he got on tonight?
- 7:10Speaker 1: So it says a locko And I was suppose that
- 7:11Speaker 1: Ted NuGen on the MotorCity mad Man. He's fired up.
- 7:15Speaker 1: He usually plays his guitar and screams at me about America.
- 7:17Speaker 1: It's always fun. We subtitled it in English at the
- 7:20Speaker 1: end of the interview it's Ted's rowdy. I love to
- 7:23Speaker 1: talk to He's rowdy. And we've got a couple of
- 7:27Speaker 1: couple of Fox girls are coming by to have a
- 7:29Speaker 1: conversation about this. Some feminist site is out. They say
- 7:33Speaker 1: Taylor Swift is secretly MAGA, which I think is fascinating.
- 7:37Speaker 1: But I don't know because she owns a private jet,
- 7:40Speaker 1: which is usually what the climate change people do, you know,
- 7:45Speaker 1: So she's not mega. She's more John Kerry than anythingure.
- 7:47Speaker 1: She's got a private jet, so I don't know if
- 7:49Speaker 1: she's Mega, but I'm excited to have the talk.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Well, there are a lot of closet Republicans in music,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and there were even a couple of MSNBC hosts who
- 7:58Speaker 2: were secretly Republicans. It was all an act, but I
- 8:02Speaker 2: believe that. And then Saturday Night you do. It's I
- 8:05Speaker 2: love that Saturday night show. It's every Saturday night at
- 8:07Speaker 2: ten o'clock and it's too early to say what you
- 8:11Speaker 2: got this Saturday night?
- 8:12Speaker 1: Right Ronda Rowsey? Ronda Rowsey, famous WWE legend, a MMA fighter,
- 8:18Speaker 1: And it's funny because her publicist said, don't make fun
- 8:20Speaker 1: of her, she'll hit you, and I said, no, it's okay.
- 8:22Speaker 1: I'm into that. So hopefully I'm glad to get Ronda
- 8:26Speaker 1: to rough me up on the air.
- 8:27Speaker 2: He does. It's the best late night show. It's Saturday
- 8:30Speaker 2: nights at ten o'clock on the Fox News channel, and
- 8:33Speaker 2: then you can hear him tonight every weeknight on w
- 8:36Speaker 2: R nine to midnight. And well, you haven't. You're adjusting
- 8:39Speaker 2: that of doing radio. It's fun, isn't it?
- 8:42Speaker 1: Oh? I love it. It's a good hang because we
- 8:44Speaker 1: have more time to have this conversation. You know, TV
- 8:47Speaker 1: is an assembly line. Well, I'm talking on TV. There's
- 8:50Speaker 1: a picture of a guy coming up next with a
- 8:52Speaker 1: story underneath me that has nothing to do with either
- 8:55Speaker 1: of us. There's some promotion on the right side of
- 8:58Speaker 1: the screen. TV. It's just you know, it's a it's
- 9:01Speaker 1: a Jackson Pollock painting. These days it's so busy. Whereas
- 9:04Speaker 1: radio we just got to talk. We probably covered seven subjects. Yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you get one and you're out. They fire you out
- 9:11Speaker 1: with like a water canon so the next guy can
- 9:13Speaker 1: come in.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Yeah, and you start your answering that guy in your
- 9:15Speaker 2: ears going rap rapping up.
- 9:18Speaker 1: It's so true, man, I haven't said anything yet. They're like,
- 9:22Speaker 1: Jimmy Phyler joins us, Now rap does he mean rap? Should?
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'd like beatbox? What does he mean by that? I
- 9:28Speaker 1: haven't spoken.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Well, everybody listen, you gotta listen tonight. He does a
- 9:33Speaker 2: great shows every night nine to midnight. You can hear
- 9:35Speaker 2: it tonight nine to midnight on seven ten w O
- 9:38Speaker 2: or Jimmy Phyla, thanks for being with us. You're the man,
- 9:41Speaker 2: Mark dude, take care. Hey, don't forget Buck and Clay.
- 9:45Speaker 2: They'll be here at noon. They do an excellent show
- 9:47Speaker 2: every day right after right after us, right after the
- 9:50Speaker 2: news at noon on seven ten WR
