- 0:03Speaker 1: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 0:06Speaker 1: and sure they definitely can be, but understanding of professionals
- 0:10Speaker 1: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 0:14Speaker 1: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 0:18Speaker 1: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 0:21Speaker 1: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is

- 0:44Speaker 2: Is Google a sleeper AI company if I wanted to
- 0:50Speaker 2: wait to December. One of my favorite comeback stories of
- 0:54Speaker 2: just flawless execution is Google's has done everything I would
- 1:00Speaker 2: Apple would have done.
- 1:01Speaker 3: I can't wait for this update to come out.
- 1:05Speaker 2: But just at the highest level, when people were even
- 1:10Speaker 2: starting to say what AI erode their search business completely,
- 1:15Speaker 2: they found a way to invest and create AI at
- 1:18Speaker 2: a faster scale. And it's a great thing of being
- 1:21Speaker 2: focused because it's Apple lost their focus they were able
- 1:24Speaker 2: to come in and be a partner.
- 1:26Speaker 3: So it is a sleeper AI company. We've been talking
- 1:29Speaker 3: about it.
- 1:29Speaker 2: All year, and I've clearly said like, once they made
- 1:31Speaker 2: the switch and focused, I was the first one to say, Hey,
- 1:37Speaker 2: they've righted the ship. So I don't think they're a
- 1:41Speaker 2: sleeper company. But I do think they are the quietest
- 1:43Speaker 2: of the big tech companies in AI.
- 1:46Speaker 3: But that's because they're actually executing at a high level.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I think, Yeah, I don't even know if I want
- 1:51Speaker 1: to use the term sleeper. I remember about a year
- 1:55Speaker 1: ago we were talking about this topic, and I think
- 1:58Speaker 1: the one knock I had against them was that they.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Didn't have the product. They didn't have anything. There wasn't
- 2:03Speaker 3: a thing.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And then I spoke to some people in the tech
- 2:06Speaker 1: world and they were like, naturely, trust me.
- 2:09Speaker 3: The thing is on the way.
- 2:11Speaker 1: So obviously, using that information doing the research, started to
- 2:14Speaker 1: get some calls on them and did pretty well on
- 2:16Speaker 1: those calls. And then at the All Star Game this
- 2:19Speaker 1: year in UH San Francisco, we uh we were enlightened
- 2:25Speaker 1: by some of the folks at Google. They had been
- 2:28Speaker 1: watching the show and talking to us about some of
- 2:30Speaker 1: the product things that were coming, and uh, we should
- 2:32Speaker 1: just you know, give it, give us some time and
- 2:34Speaker 1: then set some products over to us. And what we've
- 2:39Speaker 1: seen is when we talked about the clips earlier, this
- 2:44Speaker 1: is this is the.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Technology quiet just executing. They're executing at the highest level.
- 2:51Speaker 1: The product is phenomenal. When we're talking about AI, Gemini
- 2:56Speaker 1: is still one of the top three, right and still improving.
- 3:01Speaker 3: VO three is incredible.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Last week they talked about their potential new deal with
- 3:08Speaker 1: Apple to be the search engine.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Google has had had a phenomenal year.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Uh, they reported earnings last two weeks ago, had an
- 3:16Speaker 1: amazing order innovation looks incredible.
- 3:19Speaker 3: For the future, they're there, man, they're there.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And in fact, I was reading an interesting piece about
- 3:24Speaker 1: how they're looking at search going forward. Right when we
- 3:27Speaker 1: had to scour the internet, when AI, like Chat, GBT
- 3:30Speaker 1: and Claudes had to scour the internet, data source was
- 3:34Speaker 1: was Google because that's the place, you know. And now
- 3:37Speaker 1: they're saying like in the future they're going to shorten
- 3:40Speaker 1: that search so that models can't take which was what
- 3:45Speaker 1: we'll see, right, I was brilliant. Yeah, I feel like
- 3:48Speaker 1: they were a little late to that though, right had
- 3:50Speaker 1: they saw that train coming they would have.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It reminded me of Netflix stopping path for sure, Like
- 3:56Speaker 2: if data is the new oil, they have all the
- 3:59Speaker 2: oil and refire Sam while you're being arrogant, Well, what
- 4:02Speaker 2: you can talk about in a little bit, Okay, Well
- 4:04Speaker 2: let's cut the pipeline off and appo and a banana.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Every update that Google does it felt like at one
- 4:12Speaker 2: time every week they were launching a new improvement, just
- 4:16Speaker 2: a fantastic and once again, everything they're doing, I wish
- 4:18Speaker 2: Apple would have did.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it's interesting, right because I didn't not that
- 4:26Speaker 1: you said, I didn't even think about that, like you
- 4:27Speaker 1: cut that that pipeline off, and for those that was
- 4:31Speaker 1: what I'm trying to explain here is that when you search, right,
- 4:33Speaker 1: like when Google has like thirty o's inside the word,
- 4:38Speaker 1: that's how many search engines that they've done to come
- 4:41Speaker 1: up with results in the future this and that they've
- 4:44Speaker 1: cut that down to maybe two pages. Right, So remember
- 4:46Speaker 1: when people used to go seos and they're like, oh wait,
- 4:49Speaker 1: we're trying to land on the first ten searches. Now
- 4:51Speaker 1: that I'll be confined so that the other companies won't
- 4:54Speaker 1: be able to use that database to use inside their platform.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Which is interesting the Apple have done this. I think
- 5:01Speaker 1: Apple could have done something in artificial intelligence. I think
- 5:04Speaker 1: they're the roller is defline. Now they're gonna sit back
- 5:06Speaker 1: and watch and say, how do we improve how we
- 5:08Speaker 1: innovate inside of what's already happening.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Google is just innovating. They're just innovating at a very
- 5:14Speaker 3: high level.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And every time they innovate, there's a response. And so
- 5:19Speaker 1: when vo three came out, we saw soa they updated it.
- 5:23Speaker 1: It comes soa too. They're leading the way now right,
- 5:28Speaker 1: they're leading away. Search engine is there. We know that
- 5:31Speaker 1: that it's a huge business. And obviously they still have
- 5:33Speaker 1: that Golia called YouTube, which.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Now they're gonna say and once they figure out how
- 5:39Speaker 2: to integrate Veil into YouTube for creators, if you go
- 5:45Speaker 2: on a cable home sell.
- 5:47Speaker 3: What would be like what's reality?
- 5:48Speaker 2: At that point it's tough mm hm m h. Job
- 5:55Speaker 2: or done to everybody at Google. Once again, I wish
- 5:58Speaker 2: the Apple would have done the same.
