Speaker 1: There's been some great running backs over the history of football.
• 0:04
Speaker 1: But the guys I see in the game right now,
• 0:06
Speaker 1: this might be the greatest generation of running backs that
• 0:09
Speaker 1: the NFL has ever seen. Who we got? We got
• 0:11
Speaker 1: Jamar Gibbs. Gibbs. Saquon. Saquon.
• 0:14
Speaker 2: Those are the two I think of when we're talking
• 0:16
Speaker 2: about greatness at the running back position right now. B.
• 0:17
Speaker 1: John. Oh, my bad, my bad. I absolutely meant B.
• 0:21
  Speaker 2: John because he's cold. B.
• 0:23
Speaker 1: John, CMC. You know who does not get enough credit? Cook. Yeah,
• 0:28
Speaker 1: James Cook. He be balling. Balling. Like Derrick Henry. When
• 0:34
Speaker 1: you're talking about majority of these teams that are winning,
• 0:39
Speaker 1: Kenneth Walker, these 3-0 teams, great run game.
• 0:43
Speaker 2: Yeah, when you say it like that, yeah, we got
• 0:47
Speaker 2: a bunch of really good running backs in the mix.
• 0:49
Speaker 1: CMC, Kenneth Walker. James Cook. James Cook. What's the guy
• 0:54
Speaker 1: from the Raiders? The high draft? Oh, Ashton Gentry. Yeah, Gentry. Barkley.
• 1:00
Speaker 1: We got Henry. Minnesota Vikings. Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason.
• 1:03
Speaker 2: Yep, those two together make a solid run game, even
• 1:06
Speaker 2: though they haven't been throwing the ball really well.
• 1:08
Speaker 1: Like, Jonathan Taylor. Like, this is literally, like, undervalued, these guys. Like,
• 1:18
Speaker 1: when you look at how many times Like, there was
• 1:20
Speaker 1: a stat when we was preparing to play the Falcons.
• 1:24
Speaker 1: They said B. John Robinson is averaging seven yards every
• 1:28
Speaker 1: time he touches the ball. You know how crazy that is?
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: That is wild.
• 1:33
Speaker 2: But do you think this is better than, like, you know,
• 1:36
Speaker 2: we had Adrian Peterson, Tomlinson, Chris Johnson. We had those guys.
• 1:42
Speaker 1: But it's like they had that, like, no, you're right.
• 1:45
Speaker 1: You're right. Like, it's hard to take that away. Like,
• 1:47
Speaker 1: those are MVP guys.
• 1:49
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: But like.
• 1:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, the 90s, we had the Barry Sanders, the Emmitt Smiths,
• 1:55
Speaker 2: all those guys. We're seeing high-class running backs right now. Yeah,
• 1:58
Speaker 2: but like this right here is like crazy. Yeah, I
• 2:01
Speaker 2: think that this group is different because they're so involved
• 2:04
Speaker 2: in the game fully.
• 2:05
Speaker 1: They can catch the ball. I'm talking about versatility. Like,
• 2:09
Speaker 1: don't get me... LT, versatility. AP, a little... One of
• 2:13
Speaker 1: the great hands. I don't even want to block him
• 2:16
Speaker 1: for real. Barry, yes. Barry, yes. Um... You know, you
• 2:21
Speaker 1: can keep going. But this right here, like, coming out
• 2:26
Speaker 1: the backfield. Put them anywhere. Like, Gibbs and Bijon are
• 2:30
Speaker 1: literally carrying their offenses right now. They can play running back.
• 2:34
Speaker 1: They can play wide receiver. They can do whatever. They're
• 2:36
Speaker 1: earning every bit of that $ 25 million. They need more
• 2:38
Speaker 1: than that. They might need $ 40. We might have to
• 2:41
Speaker 1: bump the cap up.
• 2:42
Speaker 2: Hey, look, I don't know what the quarterback is getting,
• 2:44
Speaker 2: but the quarterback should not be making more than either
• 2:46
Speaker 2: one of those two on their ball.
• 2:48
Speaker 1: Facts. Thanks. So it's like, I'm not going to lie. Like,
• 2:53
Speaker 1: those guys have been taking over. And I forgot. What?
• 2:58
Speaker 1: Back in the day, 2K would win you MVP. For sure.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: That's not winning you MVP no more.
• 3:04
Speaker 2: Nah, you might get Offensive Player of the Year.
• 3:06
Speaker 1: You're not getting MVP. You're not getting MVP. So it's like,
• 3:09
Speaker 1: it's a different era right now for sure.
