- Sarahn Sankofa: Hello, beautiful people. Today is September the 19th, and today's calendar challenge is set some boundaries. Yes, we know what those are. We don't always utilize them, but we should. You know, our theme this month is nourish yourself. So we're doing all of the things in all of the ways that feel good for us. We're returning to the self-care that our joy requires, and we're doing it unapologetically. Boundaries are not about shutting people out. They're about clearing out the unnecessary. They're about creating room for what could be by taking a stance around what no longer will be. All right? They're about clarity, about getting clear on what you need and about protecting your joy. A yes to you might be a no to someone else. But it's a yes to you. And that's what matters. You don't need a dramatic reason. You can be firm and kind. Both things can exist at the same time. And boundaries aren't punishments. They're simply guidelines for how you wanna participate in a relationship or a situation. All right. So pay attention to where you feel drained, all right? Pay attention to where you feel exhaustion, resentment, irritation, or where you're just repeatedly doing things that don't work for you. That may be a clue to where you can start with setting your boundaries. And start small. You don't have to have an overhaul in every relationship in one day, in every situation. Choose one area where you need more space, more clarity, and more balance. Ask yourself, where in my life do I need to say yes less often so I can say yes more intentionally? Every boundary you set can create more room for the life and the joy you deserve and desire. Just enough is more than enough, Saran says.
