- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're getting right back to
- 0:07Sarah Kellen's conversation with Congress mister Biggs. Thank you, and again,
- 0:15thank you for your courage speaking up here with us today.
- 0:18We appreciate it very much. I hope you don't mind
- 0:20that I'm going to revisit the discussion we had with
- 0:23regard to redacted. I believe redacted, and I just want
- 0:26to confirm in my mind to understand if that's okay.
- 0:29And I'm not trying to step outside the bounds that
- 0:31we've set. But here we go. So if I understand right,
- 0:35redacted is the one who arranged your trip to Epstein's
- 0:38Island to pursue the job as an assistant. Kellen, correct, Biggs,
- 0:44and she also accompanied you to the island. Kellen, Yes, Biggs,
- 0:48and she was your roommate for several days on the island. Kellen, yes, Biggs,
- 0:54you were offered the job. I understand during your visit
- 0:57to the island, Kellen, not that trip, Biggs, okay, Kellen.
- 1:01I traveled with them for about a week. We were
- 1:03on the island for about thirty three days, and then
- 1:06Palm Beach for a few days, and then New York
- 1:08for a few days, and then I flew back to Hawaii.
- 1:11It was September tenth, two thousand and one, so I
- 1:13remember it like it was the day before September eleventh.
- 1:16I was thinking like I had just been in New
- 1:19York the day before, and I flew back to Hawaii,
- 1:22went back to my job at the hotel restaurant, and
- 1:24then probably like three weeks or a month later, Glane
- 1:27called me and asked if I could fly to Palm
- 1:29Beach that day to start training to work Biggs. All right,
- 1:33and did redacted? Did she ever end up working for
- 1:36Epstein or Maxwell? Kellen? No, not that I'm aware of Biggs.
- 1:39And to your knowledge, did she ever? Well, I'll just
- 1:42leave it there. I appreciate the answers. Timmins, thank you.
- 1:46I want to ask some questions about the non prosecution agreement.
- 1:50You're specifically mentioned in it. Were you represented by an
- 1:53attorney in that process? Kellen, No, Timmins. When did you
- 1:57find out that your name was included in the non
- 1:59prosecution agreement? Kellen? When it was publicly released Timmins, around
- 2:04what time? Around what year? Kellen? I think it was
- 2:07probably like a year or two after it was executed
- 2:11when I think there was like a fight, a legal
- 2:13fight about undoing it or something, and it had been
- 2:16or not been a secret anymore and it was released
- 2:18to the public. Mister Timmins, you've met Darren Endyck Kellen. Yes, Timmins.
- 2:24When did you first meet him Kellen? Beginning of my
- 2:27employment in two thousand and two? Timmins? How regular was
- 2:30your interaction with him? Kellen? Not super regular. We worked
- 2:34out of the main office on Madison Avenue in New York,
- 2:37and then eventually they moved offices to three oh one
- 2:40East sixty sixth Street, so I didn't go to the
- 2:42main office very often. Mister Timmins, have you met Richard
- 2:46Kahn miss Kellen. Yeah, Timmins. When did you meet him Kellen?
- 2:50When he started working? I don't know. He replaced There
- 2:53was a different accountant when I first started working, and
- 2:56he replaced him a few years into my employment. Timmins,
- 2:59How the regular was your interactions with Kahn Kellen? Again,
- 3:03pretty much the same thing. He worked in the Madison
- 3:06Avenue office, so it wasn't super regular Timmins. So again,
- 3:10you were not represented by an attorney when your name
- 3:13was put into a non prosecution agreement by the Department
- 3:16of Justice. Kellen, correct, I was never questioned by any
- 3:20law enforcement, didn't have an attorney, Timmins, you said that earlier.
- 3:24Have you ever been questioned by law enforcement? Kellen, Not
- 3:27until twenty nineteen, for the first time ever, Timmins, You
- 3:31were not questioned by any law enforcement before twenty nineteen, Kellen,
- 3:35not a single not a single law enforcement ever until
- 3:39twenty nineteen, for the very first time, Timmins. Were you
- 3:43aware that Epstein was considering pleading to something in an
- 3:46effort to wipe away all the crimes he had committed
- 3:48as of two thousand and seven, were you aware that
- 3:51he was being investigated? Were you aware that there was
- 3:54a legal issue Kellen, Yeah, Timmins, and you had no
- 3:58knowledge that you were associated with his non prosecution agreement Kellen, No, Timmins.
- 4:04Has Richard Dyke ever represented you in any capacity? Kellen,
- 4:08Darrenan Dyke, Timmins, sorry, Darrenan Dyke, Kellen, not officially, but
- 4:13he was, Timmins. Did he create your LLC Kellen, He did, yes, Timmins,
- 4:18So he did represent you. Has Richard Kahn ever done
- 4:22any work for you? Has he prepared your taxes? Kellen?
- 4:25I don't know. I did my own taxes in the beginning, Timmins.
- 4:29Did you ever submit any documents to CON's firm for
- 4:31the purpose a review? Kellen? So, I don't know if
- 4:34Kahn how much he was involved, but it was another
- 4:37account and redacted who took like managed all the banking
- 4:40for SLK Designs and all the associations. Timmins. And you
- 4:45were one of the plaintiffs that sued the estate. Kellen, Yeah, Timmins.
- 4:49Did in Dyke ever provide you any legal advice prior
- 4:52to outside the LLC? Has he ever provided you with
- 4:55legal advice? Kellen? He was kind of like the liaison
- 4:59for hiring a attorneys for me in some of the
- 5:01civil cases. He basically was like, these are your attorneys,
- 5:05connecting me with them. He was the one who up
- 5:07scheduled the dates for my deposition. He's the one who
- 5:10would give me documents to sign, not my ex attorneys
- 5:13who were supposedly my attorneys. He was going to do it. Timmins. So,
- 5:18did you ever sign a representation agreement with Darren Endyck Kellen, No,
- 5:23I remember he told me one time, I think I
- 5:26don't know how I was subpoena for a deposition and
- 5:29he told me to get my own attorney and that
- 5:31Jeffrey would pay for it. And then Jeffrey was upset
- 5:33with how much it costs and he didn't want to
- 5:35pay the fees. So then he sent Darren and I
- 5:38an email that said, you know, can somebody tell me
- 5:42we have this goofball lawyer involved at all? And Darren replied,
- 5:45it was my understanding that Brian required Sarah to have
- 5:49her own counsel, but I never understood why she needed
- 5:51her own attorney, like, of course, we can get rid
- 5:54of them. And so then they didn't pay his fees,
- 5:57and I couldn't afford to pay his fees, and then
- 5:59Darren arranged for me to have the same attorney as
- 6:02Jeffrey Timmins. I'm out of time, but I'm going to
- 6:05have some follow ups. Thank you, Miss Brignac, Thank you,
- 6:08Miss Kellen. That will conclude the Majority's first hour of questioning.
- 6:13We'll go off the record, mister redacted, we are on
- 6:16the record. I understand that one or more members has
- 6:19joined us, if they could please identify themselves for the record.
- 6:23Bobert Lauren Bobert question by mister redacted. Good morning, Miss Kellen.
- 6:31Kellen answer, Good morning. Question. My name is redacted, and
- 6:35I'm going to be doing most of the questions today
- 6:37for the minority. As we proceed, I'm going to cover
- 6:41some of the topics that the Majority is covered with
- 6:43you in the previous round. I'm going to do that
- 6:45not to make you repeat yourself, but just to make
- 6:48sure that we have a clearer record as is possible
- 6:52before I proceed. I'll note that it's possible that some
- 6:54of my questions today may call for answers that identify
- 6:58actual or potential survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and Glenn Maxwell,
- 7:03or information from which those survivors might be identified. To
- 7:07the extent that my answers to any of those questions
- 7:10do contain such names or information, I'd ask on behalf
- 7:14of the Minority that, prior to any public release of
- 7:17the transcript of the preceding the Majority ensure that the
- 7:20names of any such survivors, as well as information from
- 7:24which they could be identified, are fully redacted. And with that,
- 7:28Miss Kellen, you spoke during the previous hour about certain
- 7:31tasks that Jeffrey asked you to perform. I think it
- 7:35would be helpful if you would just get a fuller
- 7:37sense of the scope of your job duties when you
- 7:39were working for him and Glene Maxwell. Could you expound
- 7:42on those a bit answer. So it was a lot
- 7:45of sourcing things for all the houses. I would have
- 7:48to go by. He would say, I want new tea
- 7:51sets for Palm Beach, so then I would have to
- 7:53be like as many examples as I could to show
- 7:56it to him and get his approval and then go
- 7:59by it. I had to put music on his MP
- 8:01three player I would have. Even though he had a
- 8:05private chef most of the time, he still had me
- 8:08make food for him. He liked the way I made
- 8:10his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or his tomato muzzarella sandwiches.
- 8:14There were different projects that Gland would give me. They
- 8:17would have had binders full of the furniture in all
- 8:20of the houses that listed like where they were from,
- 8:23how much they cost, and where they were located. They
- 8:26were constantly moving things around, so I had to update those.
- 8:30A lot of interior design work because he was always
- 8:33changing houses, so I'd have to go look for fabric samples,
- 8:36source furniture, have things made. He liked to personalize all
- 8:41of his own, like sweatpants with embroidery and American flag
- 8:44on it, so I had to source those and have
- 8:47them embroidered. It was always something different, like he always
- 8:50had different tasks recovering his Jim furniture in a special
- 8:54leather like. It was very It wasn't normal normal things.
- 8:57It was very over the top and that, like you know,
- 9:01weren't normal things for people to ask for. It was
- 9:05just and each day was different depending on his whim
- 9:09and kind of what he required. Question, it's my understanding
- 9:12that part of your responsibility included digitizing photographs, is that right,
- 9:17Miss Ham? Can you speak up a tiny bit for
- 9:20those in the back redacted? Sorry, go ahead, Miss Kellen, Yes, redacted.
- 9:27I have just been advised that another member has joined us,
- 9:30and if that member could identify themselves redacted, he just
- 9:34stepped out redacted. Sorry. Question returning to the subject to
- 9:39digitizing photographs, Kellen, Yeah, that was a project that Glaine
- 9:44took on the first few years of my employment. Question,
- 9:47what did those photographs contain, Miss Ham, to the extent
- 9:51their photographs of yourself? You can talk about it to
- 9:54the extent their photographs of objects in the house or
- 9:57the property, the designs. That's fine. It was all of
- 10:01their old photographs that Galainnad took film, Jeffrey's baby photos. Basically,
- 10:05any photos that they had, they would scan in and
- 10:08burn them to a disc and digitize them. Redacted. Were
- 10:13any of those photos actually explicit? Ham You can answer
- 10:16if that's true for you, Kellen, some of them contain
- 10:19nude photos of myself redacted. Question. In terms of the
- 10:24work that you did for Epstein and Maxwell, you spoke
- 10:27during the previous round about being based in New York
- 10:29for a period of time and in Palm Beach for
- 10:32a period of time. Am I correct about that answer?
- 10:35When you say based there? She gets cut off. Question
- 10:39you perform your work in those locations, Kellen, I have
- 10:44traveled with them everywhere, so I would have traveled to
- 10:47all the homes with them. Question, just so we have
- 10:49a complete list beyond New York and Palm Beach, what
- 10:52other homes did you spend time at? Answer? New York,
- 10:55Palm Beach, the Island, the Ranch, Paris, and London. I
- 10:59think that was all all of them. Question. That's helpful.
- 11:02Thank you did your job. Duties vary from property to
- 11:05property depending on where you were at any given time,
- 11:09or were they pretty much consistent regardless of the location. Answer.
- 11:14It depended on if he was working on projects at
- 11:16a particular property the island, he was always renovating, building
- 11:20new things, meeting with landscapers or interior designers, architects, so
- 11:25that would have been very much geared toward design at
- 11:28that property. New York was more running errands because that's
- 11:32almost you could access most of the things, buying things
- 11:35for the houses, and we would collect everything in this
- 11:38house that would just sit and wait for the next
- 11:40trip to the next house, and then I'd have to
- 11:43organize it, like load the plane up with everything to
- 11:46take care of. Question. I'd like to ask you some
- 11:48questions about conversations you had with Jeffrey Epstein. Did he
- 11:52ever tell you at any point about his relationship with
- 11:55other women? Answer not really. Question did he ever talk
- 11:59to you of out his sexual activity with other women?
- 12:02Answer no? Question Did he ever tell you what kind
- 12:05of women were his type? Answer? I knew he was racist.
- 12:09Question was that based on the comments you heard or
- 12:12conversations you had with him? Answer comments he would make
- 12:17question are you able to be specific about that? Answer?
- 12:22He would always belittle. I feel bad even saying it
- 12:25because it's demeaning question, it's his words. Answer he would
- 12:31use the word, I believe schwatza, which means black people.
- 12:35That's like a Jewish slang word for a black folk.
- 12:39Question in terms of his type during the period of
- 12:41time when you worked for him, did you have any
- 12:44understanding that he had a type? Answer? I mean he
- 12:47had a bunch of models around him at all times.
- 12:50Question and were you the sort of characteristics you observed
- 12:53I mean physical appearance? Age? Answer beautiful? Question young, I
- 12:58mean I was twenty two. Question where any of them
- 13:02to your observation miners under the age of eighteen? Miss Ham,
- 13:06she's not going to talk about, you know, getting into
- 13:08specific victims, and I think that would get into specific victims,
- 13:12So she's not going to talk about that today. I'm sorry,
- 13:15she's not going to speak about you know, it's a
- 13:17transcribed interview, it's voluntary, and we'd like to limit her
- 13:21questions to her own victimization. She gets cut off by
- 13:24the person doing the questioning. Understood, And just to be clear,
- 13:29I phrased the question in general terms. I wasn't really
- 13:32addressing specific victims. Ham. I think it's easier for our
- 13:36purposes when we're trying to make that distinction, to stop
- 13:39questioning on those types of topics. Question did Epstein ever
- 13:44tell you that he liked younger women? Answer no, not
- 13:47specifically in those words. Question did he ever tell you
- 13:50that he liked teenage girls? Answer no, Ham, we really
- 13:54have to be careful here in terms of she can
- 13:56speak of her own experience with them, but she cannot
- 13:59speak to the victimization of other people. See. I don't
- 14:02like all of that, and I feel like she's hiding things.
- 14:09Question Well, again, I understand the distinction you're drawing. I'm
- 14:12carefully addressing my questions to Epstein's words and actions rather
- 14:16than the experience of his victims. Question Again, this goes
- 14:21to the issue of type in your observation. How many
- 14:24of the women that Epstein associated with were foreign? Answer?
- 14:28It was a mix. Yeah, there was foreign and American
- 14:31women around them. Question were they Eastern European specifically? Answer sometimes?
- 14:37Question do you have an understanding as to why there
- 14:40was a presence of Eastern European women in particular? Answer?
- 14:45I didn't really think about it. All right, folks, we're
- 14:48gonna wrap up right here, and in the next episode,
- 14:50we're going to pick up where we left off. All
- 14:53the information that goes with this episode can be found
- 14:56in the description box.
