- 0:10SPEAKER_05: In a big way.
- 0:11SPEAKER_05: Let him know, bro.
- 0:12SPEAKER_05: I'm glad I don't play in Miami that I couldn't do that.
- 0:14SPEAKER_05: Like I tell Joe, I'm like, hey, can you tie my shoes real quick?
- 0:17SPEAKER_05: He looked at me so excited.

- 0:44SPEAKER_05: What's up?
- 0:45SPEAKER_05: How we doing, man?
- 0:46SPEAKER_07: Doing great, bro.
- 0:46SPEAKER_07: You got the robe on.
- 0:47SPEAKER_07: Chilling, bro.
- 0:48SPEAKER_07: You got the hat on.
- 0:49SPEAKER_07: Wait, Spain is a couple weeks away.
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: It is.
- 0:51SPEAKER_07: You bringing Orlandito out way too soon.
- 0:54SPEAKER_07: I don't know if y'all got a chance to check your pregame outfit, man.
- 0:57SPEAKER_07: Out.
- 0:57SPEAKER_07: That was dope.
- 0:58SPEAKER_07: That was fire.
- 0:58SPEAKER_07: That was wrong.
- 0:59SPEAKER_05: It's funny how how I put that together.
- 1:01SPEAKER_05: I don't even know what made me do that.
- 1:03SPEAKER_05: I just good vibes and I don't know.
- 1:06SPEAKER_05: Something just called on the Coo G the Coogee uh tank top.
- 1:11SPEAKER_05: It's funny because I've played down there one time, two times before.
- 1:17SPEAKER_05: And 2019, we opened the season, my second year, tore their ass up out there in Miami.
- 1:25SPEAKER_05: And um I had a Coogee tank top on.
- 1:29SPEAKER_05: So I was like, you know what?
- 1:30SPEAKER_05: Good luck.
- 1:30SPEAKER_05: It's crazy.
- 1:31SPEAKER_05: I yeah, it was good luck.
- 1:32SPEAKER_07: I I had another one I hadn't worn, and yeah, it was just man, that that's fire, man.
- 1:37SPEAKER_07: I was about to ask you, like, did a lot of prep go into that or no, no, most of my fits though.
- 1:43SPEAKER_05: I just I normally just kind of see what I'm feeling.
- 1:46SPEAKER_05: I normally put it together like Saturday before we leave, or on Sundays, I just if we're home and I'm I'm able to be here, I just kind of grab what I'm feeling.
- 1:56SPEAKER_05: For sure, for sure.
- 1:56SPEAKER_05: I'll just grab what I'm feeling.
- 1:57SPEAKER_05: Well, you know what we gotta talk about.
- 1:59SPEAKER_07: We do the boys won.
- 2:00SPEAKER_07: We gotta talk about it.
- 2:01SPEAKER_07: The boys won.
- 2:02SPEAKER_07: Because why wouldn't we talk about it?
- 2:03SPEAKER_07: Why wouldn't we talk about it?
- 2:04SPEAKER_07: I gotta, I gotta I say who day, who day, who day, man.
- 2:07SPEAKER_07: Bengals won 31, 24.
- 2:09SPEAKER_07: Talk us through it the week, preparation.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:12SPEAKER_07: When'd you know that it was gonna be a good, you know, a good game for you guys?
- 2:17SPEAKER_05: Yeah, man, you know, honestly, like it was it was our strongest week of prep.
- 2:22SPEAKER_05: Um, just in terms of the focus and intensity day to day, uh, I feel like from top down, man, um, everybody was really in tune to what we needed to excuse me, to accomplish.
- 2:34SPEAKER_05: And so starting earlier in the week, you know, I could just I could just tell just through the flow of meetings and the flow of practice, you know what I mean, and and then going into Friday, which I feel like is one of our better Fridays, man.
- 2:48SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, it just just you could just tell everybody had raw confidence in the game plan.
- 2:52SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 2:53SPEAKER_07: I love that, man.
- 2:53SPEAKER_07: I I think from my perspective, watching it, it just seemed like you guys were operating on a different level of intensity out there on Sunday.
- 2:59SPEAKER_07: It seemed like you know, we talked we talked about it, you know, last week.
- 3:02SPEAKER_07: You guys wanted this, man.
- 3:03SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and you know, I feel like what what better way to obviously go into a bye week, right?
- 3:09SPEAKER_07: Well, with this type of momentum.
- 3:11SPEAKER_07: It seems like a lot was kind of figured out.
- 3:13SPEAKER_07: The running game is starting to tick a little bit, the big plays downfield.
- 3:16SPEAKER_07: Yeah, oh my gosh.
- 3:17SPEAKER_07: What'd you think of that?
- 3:18SPEAKER_07: That big play by Jamar.
- 3:20SPEAKER_04: Bro, what the fuck?
- 3:21SPEAKER_04: I don't I I swear, every time one of these, every time one of these motherfuckers catch a ball, I was like, no, how did you even like I don't I've to I didn't see I've seen these two between him and T, some of the plays they made.
- 3:36SPEAKER_05: Like, I remember my first year here, we were playing Minnesota at home, and dog, just seeing the catch with T on the sideline.
- 3:44SPEAKER_05: Jake Brownie was at quarterback where he the space jam just cut catch on the sideline.
- 3:49SPEAKER_04: He ain't even looking, he just catch it, extend.
- 3:51SPEAKER_04: I'm like, what the magnetic score that?
- 3:54SPEAKER_04: Like the one on Sunday with Uno.
- 3:57SPEAKER_04: I mean, first off, I got bad eyesight.
- 3:59SPEAKER_05: So a lot of people don't know that I got bad eyesight.
- 4:01SPEAKER_05: All my eyeglasses are prescription because I have bad eyesight.
- 4:04SPEAKER_05: So all I see is from my point of view, I'm right in the middle of the field.
- 4:09SPEAKER_05: I think he threw the ball kind of up the right hash where Jamar caught it, and I'm looking, I'm like, man, there's no way because I see Jamar go through the whole animation of like catch roll, and I'm like, I lost track of the ball.
- 4:22SPEAKER_05: I'm like, no way he caught that, right?
- 4:23SPEAKER_05: Right, right.
- 4:24SPEAKER_05: He caught that ball.
- 4:26SPEAKER_04: They get up and then you just see hipping T chill and Joe's eyes, like y'all gotta find it, bro.
- 4:31SPEAKER_04: Joe's eyes were so wide, bro.
- 4:33SPEAKER_04: It was one of the funniest things, man.
- 4:35SPEAKER_07: Listen, you know, it was so hilarious because somebody somebody put out a perfect tweet.
- 4:39SPEAKER_07: They were like, that's the that catch that Jamar made is a Madden glitch, yeah.
- 4:44SPEAKER_07: They said they basically if if Jamaro, if you're playing Madden and Jamar makes that catch or a player makes you're quitting the game.
- 4:50SPEAKER_07: No, because what do you do as a defender?
- 4:52SPEAKER_07: What do you do?
- 4:53SPEAKER_07: And it just it just feels like honestly, this offense is starting to tick, this team is starting to figure it out.
- 5:00SPEAKER_07: I gotta ask you a question, though.
- 5:01SPEAKER_07: You heard a lot about it on TV, you heard a lot about it throughout the week.
- 5:05SPEAKER_07: How hot was the game actually, though?
- 5:07SPEAKER_05: Bro, wow, it's crazy you say that.
- 5:10SPEAKER_05: So, like, I'm I'm somebody as a football player, I don't like to when it comes to like external factors and things like that.
- 5:18SPEAKER_05: Like, I try not to like be like too much involved in that.
- 5:21SPEAKER_05: Like for me, like my focus is strictly on the task at hand, blocking my guy, play to play.
- 5:28SPEAKER_05: Like, I'm I'm focused on that, no matter how hot, how cold, rainy, snow, whatever.
- 5:33SPEAKER_05: Um, and I would tell you the same thing on Sunday till we got off the field kind of that last series, and I'm like, I I was I was just blown away, bro, by like it was so hot.
- 5:45SPEAKER_05: Like, I just I had never really that was the first time I think in my uniform in the game where I kind of took a breath on Sunday after we came off the field there towards the end, and I was like, damn man, like wow, this is this is extreme.
- 6:00SPEAKER_05: Right, and I'm not someone to eat after the games, bro.
- 6:03SPEAKER_05: I had to eat, right?
- 6:04SPEAKER_05: Like I had to eat.
- 6:05SPEAKER_03: You were drained, I was drained, yeah.
- 6:06SPEAKER_05: I was drained.
- 6:07SPEAKER_05: It was just it was just different.
- 6:08SPEAKER_05: I'm glad I don't play in Miami.
- 6:09SPEAKER_05: I couldn't, I couldn't live, I couldn't do that.
- 6:11SPEAKER_05: I couldn't do that.
- 6:12SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'm not a heat guy at all.
- 6:13SPEAKER_07: I'm a winter guy through and through, bro.
- 6:14SPEAKER_07: I I like to go through all the seasons, but winter for me is where it's at.
- 6:18SPEAKER_07: But I always I did wonder that I was like, was it really that hot out there?
- 6:21SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and you saw a guy sway, you saw it was one one play on Silent Joe Burrow just like taking a water bottle.
- 6:27SPEAKER_07: You know, you see, you see some guys just they'll drink a little bit of water, but like it seemed like guys couldn't wait.
- 6:31SPEAKER_05: Bro, that yeah, it's funny you say that too, because uh he um, you know, everybody's been asking me about him tying my shit.
- 6:38SPEAKER_05: Yes, yes, that's big on Twitter because like for one, like I tape my hands, like my hands are taped, I got gloves on, so I can't like re like once my uniform is on, cleats, pants, jersey, shoulder pads, take like I can't take, I'm not taking anything off like once my shit is on, right?
- 6:54SPEAKER_05: And I can't my my shoes have probably come on tie, I'ma say twice in my football career, right?
- 7:02SPEAKER_05: Okay, um, and it just so happened it was in the middle of a series, so I'm like, or you know, it transitioned, and I I tell Joe, I'm like, I tell Joe, I'm like, hey, can you tie my shoes real quick?
- 7:13SPEAKER_04: And he looked at me so excited, he was like, Absolutely, he's like literally just the most bro shit ever, the most teammate shit ever.
- 7:23SPEAKER_04: He looked out for me.
- 7:24SPEAKER_04: Um, yeah, they did come undone again.
- 7:26SPEAKER_04: And he tied, he tied them tight.
- 7:27SPEAKER_03: So you know we gotta talk about something about shoes.
- 7:29SPEAKER_04: Yes, it memes again.
- 7:31SPEAKER_03: I know, like what are the odds?
- 7:33SPEAKER_05: Well, bro, it's funny because we're both 300-pound individuals, uh, 350 plus pound individuals.
- 7:39SPEAKER_05: And my dog is wearing these cleats right now that are probably the most comfortable cleat Nike has made.
- 7:45SPEAKER_05: It's the most comfortable Cleat Nike has made.
- 7:47SPEAKER_05: Uh they're they still make them no more though.
- 7:50SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 7:50SPEAKER_05: Yeah, so they're older, and I think just with the heat and his size, he and his he just blow, he he blew them out.
- 7:59SPEAKER_05: He just that's the second pair.
- 8:00SPEAKER_03: The second pair, he just blown, he just blown them, he blew them out.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: He get he get he gave a little uh a little uh tongue-in-cheek comment after the game.
- 8:06SPEAKER_07: He like, I don't know whoever got cleats and whoever's gonna sponsor a big man, big dude.
- 8:10SPEAKER_07: Like, let me know.
- 8:11SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he just needs something with quality, man.
- 8:13SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but but huge win.
- 8:14SPEAKER_07: So with the bye week coming into focus now, yeah, right.
- 8:17SPEAKER_07: We got to get this also Vito Corleon for real.
- 8:20SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah.
- 8:20SPEAKER_07: Vito Corleon for real had the cat.
- 8:24SPEAKER_05: Yeah, thank you.
- 8:25SPEAKER_05: Yeah, this is Mowgli.
- 8:26SPEAKER_05: Mowgli is a Toyager, and this is uh Millie.
- 8:30SPEAKER_05: Millie is a British short hair, and they were both kittens.
- 8:33SPEAKER_05: Um, if born in June.
- 8:36SPEAKER_05: So if we do the math on that, almost what is that four months?
- 8:40SPEAKER_05: Yeah, almost.
- 8:41SPEAKER_05: Yeah, four four months and some change.
- 8:43SPEAKER_05: So yeah, these are my these are my two kittens, man.
- 8:46SPEAKER_07: I mean, they gotta be the cutest cats I've ever seen.
- 8:48SPEAKER_05: Thank you.
- 8:48SPEAKER_05: I've never, me and my girl, it's our first cats we've ever owned in our life.
- 8:52SPEAKER_05: Okay, okay.
- 8:52SPEAKER_05: I've never owned cats, she's never owned them before.
- 8:54SPEAKER_07: So yeah, see, I grew up with a cat in my life.
- 8:57SPEAKER_07: Oh, for real.
- 8:58SPEAKER_07: Shout out Munchie.
- 8:58SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I grew up with a cat.
- 9:00SPEAKER_07: Shout out, shout out Munchie.
- 9:01SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, Munchie was alive for like 19, 20 years.
- 9:04SPEAKER_07: Damn, that's what they say.
- 9:06SPEAKER_07: They say they live forever.
- 9:07SPEAKER_07: Oh, they do, they do.
- 9:08SPEAKER_07: Cats are awesome.
- 9:09SPEAKER_07: Oh, cats are awesome.
- 9:10SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I've grown to love to love cats right now, you know.
- 9:13SPEAKER_07: But uh, ma'am, the bye week is here, it is right.
- 9:16SPEAKER_07: We gotta talk about it.
- 9:17SPEAKER_07: What what does a bye week look like for for you?
- 9:20SPEAKER_05: Yeah, uh, you know, I'm I'm uh a lot of other players get out of here, like a lot of a lot of guys use this as a time to really completely decompress.
- 9:30SPEAKER_05: For me personally, I don't like getting away from the game too much, especially right now in season.
- 9:35SPEAKER_05: Um, and I'm I mean, I'm at home anyway, so it's extremely comfortable for me.
- 9:40SPEAKER_05: But you know, I'll go into the facility, I'll still get my workouts in, probably you know, three or four this week, uh, still staying active.
- 9:47SPEAKER_05: But for me, it's just really more of a time to catch up on sleep more than anything.
- 9:51SPEAKER_05: I hear you on that one.
- 9:52SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you know, and I I enjoy I enjoy being able to watch football right now this week.
- 9:57SPEAKER_05: Uh like I'll I'll be what I'll watch every game that I can, you know.
- 10:00SPEAKER_05: I mean, on Sunday, I'll sit down and I'll watch, I'll probably watch one or two games.
- 10:04SPEAKER_05: I don't like to watch Red Zone though.
- 10:06SPEAKER_05: I know a lot of people watching I'm not I'm not that I like to watch the whole game.
- 10:09SPEAKER_05: Yes, I need to get into it.
- 10:10SPEAKER_05: Yes, I really enjoy watching a full football game.
- 10:13SPEAKER_05: Like, I want to see the flow of a full game.
- 10:16SPEAKER_05: So Sunday I'll I'll pick one or two games and I'll just I'll follow on for the day.
- 10:20SPEAKER_07: Who we getting?
- 10:21SPEAKER_05: You know what's gonna happen this week, though.
- 10:23SPEAKER_05: You can't wait.
- 10:24SPEAKER_05: Marvel Rivals, Marvel Rivals.
- 10:26SPEAKER_05: You know what time it is.
- 10:27SPEAKER_05: It is a Marvel Rivals week.
- 10:28SPEAKER_05: I'm I'm telling you right now, as soon as I'm doing my workout midday, I'm coming back here.
- 10:33SPEAKER_05: I'm playing my ass off on Marvel Rivals and Wolverine, Wolverine too.
- 10:38SPEAKER_05: That shit is fun.
- 10:39SPEAKER_05: I don't know.
- 10:40SPEAKER_05: I see a lot of people hating on social media talking about Wolverine, bro.
- 10:43SPEAKER_05: Like the game is fun, it's a it's a this is a dope ass like role-playing game.
- 10:46SPEAKER_07: Those games are dope.
- 10:47SPEAKER_07: There's also, I don't know how much you like it, but you know, Halloween is here, yeah.
- 10:50SPEAKER_07: The new Michael Myers Halloween game.
- 10:52SPEAKER_07: I I don't have any friends to play with on that, but if I you'll play with yeah, absolutely get me in it, get it in, get it in, bro.
- 10:59SPEAKER_07: Bro, bro.
- 10:59SPEAKER_07: So, like you like you could be Michael, or you could be like, I don't know, you could be like uh one of the people running away from Michael.
- 11:05SPEAKER_07: It's his viral videos on bro.
- 11:07SPEAKER_04: They're so funny.
- 11:08SPEAKER_07: There's so you like Mike, Mike, don't kill me, don't kill me, Mike, Mike, my I'll show you where they at, I'll show you where they're hiding, and it's somebody online bringing Michael to where everybody hiding.
- 11:17SPEAKER_07: He gets out of there.
- 11:18SPEAKER_07: You like and then so Mike might he like, yeah, get him, Mike, yeah, get him, get him, Mike.
- 11:22SPEAKER_07: And then so after Mike done with them, Mike trying to go to him because you know, I guess that's the objective of the game.
- 11:27SPEAKER_07: You gotta get everybody, yeah.
- 11:28SPEAKER_07: And he like, nah, nah, Mike, there's five more people.
- 11:30SPEAKER_04: I know where they are, and he's taking them all around Haddonfield, showing Mike where bro, that shit is so funny, bro.
- 11:36SPEAKER_04: I like if me, I'm definitely being you can rub we can rub.
- 11:39SPEAKER_04: You gotta get more people though.
- 11:40SPEAKER_04: Yo, we got that.
- 11:41SPEAKER_04: Seems like that's the best.
- 11:42SPEAKER_04: The best is where you got like a full score.
- 11:44SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, for sure, for sure.
- 11:46SPEAKER_07: You need like six people, yeah.
- 11:47SPEAKER_07: We we'll we'll we'll find him, we'll find him out, we'll find him out.

- 12:21SPEAKER_05: Like, you know, it's a it's a uh peace of mind, you could say, and and something me and you have talked about before off camera is I enjoy perspective, yeah.
- 12:28SPEAKER_05: You know, and I I really enjoy uh seeing the positivity, man, that that a lot of people have uh decided to comment on on some of our some of our posts and everything.
- 12:37SPEAKER_05: So it's enlightening.
- 12:39SPEAKER_07: Yes, absolutely.
- 12:40SPEAKER_07: I agree.
- 12:40SPEAKER_07: I think that's the best part about it.
- 12:41SPEAKER_07: I just appreciate that you guys love our content this much, man.
- 12:44SPEAKER_07: It's like the obviously the ability to talk ball with y'all and break it all down and give perspective each and every single week.
- 12:50SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 12:50SPEAKER_07: I want to get your perspective on something.
- 12:53SPEAKER_07: So obviously, news that took place Marvin Harrison Jr., talented wide receiver, yeah.
- 12:58SPEAKER_07: Um, who's just drafted just a few years back, number four, former number fourth overall pick.
- 13:03SPEAKER_07: He gets traded from the Arizona Cardinals to the Houston Texans.
- 13:07SPEAKER_07: Now, there's a lot to dive into there.
- 13:10SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but the part I actually want to get from your perspective is the chemistry of former college teammates playing with each other and how it translates.
- 13:18SPEAKER_07: Does that chemistry sort of help?
- 13:19SPEAKER_07: You've done it.
- 13:20SPEAKER_07: You've played with Samaje, you've played, uh, you've played with a lot of guys, Joe, Joe Mixon.
- 13:24SPEAKER_07: Yeah, uh, you know, you see a trend nowadays where a lot of teams are marrying their you know, uh college wide receiver up with the college quarterback, right?
- 13:32SPEAKER_07: We see it with Jamar and uh and and Joe Burrow.
- 13:35SPEAKER_07: We've saw it with Devontae Adams and Derek Carr in the past.
- 13:38SPEAKER_07: Yeah, talk to me, talk to me about that.
- 13:40SPEAKER_07: Do you think that chemistry actually translates over to the NFL?
- 13:44SPEAKER_05: It does, bro.
- 13:45SPEAKER_05: It does because like at the end of the day, all these organizations are trying to do is they're trying to get the most out of everybody, right?
- 13:52SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 13:52SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 13:53SPEAKER_05: And sometimes to get the most out of certain players and some some players, it's about comfort, right?
- 14:01SPEAKER_05: You know, and Marvin having that comfort with CJ is gonna be huge for him because a lot of things that maybe naturally didn't come to him in Arizona, learning, you know, through in a new system and a new in the NFL and uh you know, a new quarterback is is is unique.
- 14:21SPEAKER_05: And so now he's got now he's gonna have a familiar face at a position that he's kind of, you know.
- 14:27SPEAKER_05: I imagine him and CJ, the connection that they have is special.
- 14:30SPEAKER_05: We've seen it, you know, when they were in school together.
- 14:32SPEAKER_05: So uh it's huge though, bro.
- 14:34SPEAKER_05: It's huge.
- 14:35SPEAKER_05: Like I uh I've been fortunate to to start games next to literally both of my guards from college.
- 14:41SPEAKER_05: You know, I had Ben Powers in Baltimore with me, uh, who's in Denver now?
- 14:45SPEAKER_05: They're they're starting left guard, man.
- 14:47SPEAKER_05: Um beast.
- 14:48SPEAKER_05: Yeah, Ben Powers is a beast.
- 14:49SPEAKER_05: He is.
- 14:50SPEAKER_07: I love when you mention these names, bro, because I consume so much football.
- 14:53SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, you're number one.
- 14:54SPEAKER_07: I didn't realize y'all played with each other in college.
- 14:56SPEAKER_07: But Ben Powers is a dude, bro.
- 14:59SPEAKER_07: He is a dude, he is a gamer through and through.
- 15:01SPEAKER_07: He is a free agent ad for me whenever free agency comes up and he he's available.
- 15:05SPEAKER_07: I pick Ben Ben Powers.
- 15:06SPEAKER_05: He's a fucking dog, bro, and he and he has been.
- 15:09SPEAKER_05: Um, you know, it's uh I the thing that thing about Ben to me that sucks is like he just doesn't get a lot of credit, like because he's not like these, you know, in today's NFL, a lot of people like the offensive linemen with the splash plays and uh oh my gosh, he did this and he jumped on this dude and he dumped this guy over a pile or look how he passed off this twist.
- 15:28SPEAKER_05: Like Ben is gonna show up every single week, get his job done, whether he's hurt or not.
- 15:32SPEAKER_05: Yes, um, and he's gonna play at a high level.
- 15:35SPEAKER_07: Bro, people people don't understand offensive line play still.
- 15:37SPEAKER_07: We talk about this so much.
- 15:39SPEAKER_07: Like, I hate to bring things back to Madden, but for the younger generation that play Madden a lot, yeah.
- 15:43SPEAKER_07: Just to give y'all context, Ben Powers, and you correct correct me if I'm right or wrong on this.
- 15:48SPEAKER_07: Yeah, his overall in Madden Daniel is a 74-75.
- 15:52SPEAKER_07: That's I know this because I play so much Madden.
- 15:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's about to be like, What the fuck?
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: And you know what's crazy?
- 15:59SPEAKER_07: You know what's crazy?
- 16:00SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he is probably one of the best guards in the game.
- 16:04SPEAKER_07: He is, he could be a 77.
- 16:06SPEAKER_07: I could be wrong, but he's he's a 74.
- 16:08SPEAKER_07: Well, I do this, that's so low, bro.
- 16:10SPEAKER_02: That's way too low for him, bro.
- 16:12SPEAKER_07: Bro, it you'd be surprised your starter, bro.
- 16:15SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you'd be surprised how many, how many like I mean, that's a whole different conversation.
- 16:20SPEAKER_07: How much like Madden?
- 16:21SPEAKER_07: Because there's so many kids like they'll be like, Oh, this player's not that good, his overalls this then, and then Madden.
- 16:26SPEAKER_07: And I'm like, so people actually pay attention to the Madden rator ratings.
- 16:29SPEAKER_07: There was one owner they said made a decision well just last year based off of Madden ratings.
- 16:34SPEAKER_07: Who do we know who it was?
- 16:35SPEAKER_07: I do, I know it was just it was just owner.
- 16:37SPEAKER_07: They said he's he talked to his son and he made a decision based off of Madden ratings.
- 16:43SPEAKER_07: And it's like so the Madden ratings, it goes deep because Madden has done a good job throughout the years, obviously adding context.
- 16:49SPEAKER_07: Yeah, two players.
- 16:50SPEAKER_07: I think there's a little more context.
- 16:51SPEAKER_07: You do you know your Madden rating?
- 16:53SPEAKER_05: I I don't, but whatever it is is not high enough.
- 16:56SPEAKER_05: I know that jail buttons take it.
- 16:57SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna say 78.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: That's crazy.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: It is a 71.
- 17:02SPEAKER_03: That's fucking crazy.
- 17:03SPEAKER_03: I'm nine years in this league.
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: Guess what?
- 17:05SPEAKER_03: Mims is, bro.
- 17:06SPEAKER_03: It better not be lower than 80.
- 17:08SPEAKER_03: It's gotta be an 81, maybe.
- 17:11SPEAKER_05: Maybe you could you couldn't that's still so too low, bro.
- 17:15SPEAKER_05: Heck, bro.
- 17:15SPEAKER_05: I I I get it though.
- 17:16SPEAKER_05: I get it though, because Madden has been around forever, and to be honest, I still play it because it's just fun.
- 17:21SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it is fun.
- 17:22SPEAKER_05: Um, but yeah, show some damn love.
- 17:24SPEAKER_05: Yeah, nine years in this league, man.
- 17:26SPEAKER_05: Come on.
- 17:27SPEAKER_07: Oh no, yeah, it's a it's a 76.
- 17:30SPEAKER_05: My overall is a 70.
- 17:32SPEAKER_07: No, his is a 76.
- 17:33SPEAKER_07: Mims is a yeah, it says Mims is overall, and Madden is a 70 76.
- 17:39SPEAKER_07: Uh, maybe I just progressed him or something like that, but he's yeah, he got it as a 70.
- 17:44SPEAKER_07: That's way too low.
- 17:45SPEAKER_07: Man, show some respect to our like I I look at the Bengals O line, bro.
- 17:49SPEAKER_07: Like you should really see these Madden ratings.
- 17:51SPEAKER_07: I think Reisner's is like a 74 or two.
- 17:54SPEAKER_07: That's it's either 73 or 74, and Ted Ted's yeah, is low.
- 17:58SPEAKER_05: Ridiculous Ted's is like a 75.
- 18:00SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 18:01SPEAKER_05: At the least, at the least, I'm saying the whole group is 82 plus.
- 18:05SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, easily.
- 18:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah, easily.
- 18:06SPEAKER_05: 82 plus easily.
- 18:08SPEAKER_05: We gotta lock in.
- 18:09SPEAKER_05: Is it Clint Oldenberg?
- 18:10SPEAKER_05: Is that who Clint?
- 18:11SPEAKER_05: Get us right, Clint.
- 18:12SPEAKER_07: Man, or Ocho or Ojo or Ocho, Ojo, talk, man.
- 18:15SPEAKER_07: We we need to meet them ratings, yeah, yeah, updated.
- 18:18SPEAKER_07: Get our shit up, man.
- 18:19SPEAKER_07: I was like, 75 for Risner, bro.
- 18:23SPEAKER_07: Bro, uh bro, that's what I say, bro.
- 18:25SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but yeah, anyway.
- 18:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah, we gotta get them up for sure.
- 18:29SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but but yeah, I was always wondering that.
- 18:31SPEAKER_07: I was like, man, like you know, kind of bringing back to the the initial conversation, you know, team players playing alongside you know their teammates from college, how much of that, how much of a chemistry, how much of an impact does that does that actually translate to the field?
- 18:43SPEAKER_07: But it seems like there it has been successful recently in the NFL.
- 18:48SPEAKER_07: And so yeah, I guess tying it into Marvin Harrison Jr., I think this is a guy that obviously second generation NFL player, yeah, you understand that as well.
- 18:57SPEAKER_07: Yeah, come in, you come in with a lot of expectations, yeah, bro.
- 19:02SPEAKER_05: I like and I'm sorry, cut you off, you know, you good.
- 19:05SPEAKER_05: It is so like like being a junior is obviously hard through every phase of life.
- 19:12SPEAKER_05: Like, and my dad was not a Hall of Famer, you know what I mean?
- 19:15SPEAKER_05: Like my dad was somebody well known, respected, but he was not a Hall of Famer, you know.
- 19:19SPEAKER_05: And and in Marvin's case, like junior, like his dad is a Hall of Famer, played with Pay Manning, like he is, and on top of that, he's a real dude.
- 19:30SPEAKER_05: Like he a real dude.
- 19:31SPEAKER_05: Like people know Marvin Harrison Sr.
- 19:34SPEAKER_05: as a real fucking dude.
- 19:35SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 19:36SPEAKER_05: He's a he's a guy, he's a guy, like he off the field and on the field, and so it's like that cut with a lot of pressure, you know what I mean?
- 19:44SPEAKER_05: And and from a young age, as a junior, you kind of you learn to embrace that and you understand the target on your back and things like that.
- 19:51SPEAKER_05: And then when you get to this level, it's a certain level of expectation that comes with in junior situation being that I think he was a top five pick, you know what I mean?
- 20:00SPEAKER_05: He was fourth overall, fourth overall, and then you know, going to a situation, you know, obviously having to fill certain shoes, and Larry Fitzgerald had played there for a long time, so um it's a lot, a lot of pressure that comes with it coming from Ohio State, and so you know, over the span of life, you kind of learn how to deal with that.
- 20:20SPEAKER_05: And for for me personally, like my experience was coming to the NFL.
- 20:26SPEAKER_05: Oh, he's a right tackle, he's a right tackle, he's a right tackle.
- 20:28SPEAKER_05: You know, my dad played right tackle, he was a really good right tackle.
- 20:32SPEAKER_05: Um, and for me, that was like my, I'm gonna use the word crutch.
- 20:36SPEAKER_05: Like, my dad played right tackle and he was a brute right tackle and great in the run game.
- 20:40SPEAKER_05: So I have to be, you know what I mean?
- 20:42SPEAKER_05: And that was that was the way a lot of people, I feel like, uh thought about it and approached it for me.
- 20:47SPEAKER_05: Um, in Marvin's situation, obviously his dad was an all-world receiver.
- 20:50SPEAKER_05: So everybody's expecting him to kind of come in and be this kind of guy and all that.
- 20:55SPEAKER_05: You know, I think, I think hopefully this this change of scenery for him, uh, and then going back with being able to work with CJ is more it's more enlightening for him, man.
- 21:04SPEAKER_05: It allows him to, you know, I guess reset a little bit, kind of understand where he's at in his career and make the most of it.
- 21:11SPEAKER_07: Yeah, man.
- 21:12SPEAKER_07: I think Marvin Harrison's gonna go on uh to again make make people regret.
- 21:17SPEAKER_07: Oh, yes, I do.
- 21:18SPEAKER_07: I think he is a I think he's a baller, bro.
- 21:20SPEAKER_07: Some of the catches he makes, bro.
- 21:21SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I look out there, bro.
- 21:23SPEAKER_07: I'm like, this guy again, sometimes you just need that change of scenery to your point that you brought brought up.
- 21:27SPEAKER_07: Change of scenery, and you also need people to believe in you, yeah, exactly.
- 21:30SPEAKER_02: You know what I mean?
- 21:30SPEAKER_07: Like exactly sometimes sometimes narratives take on a life of their own, man.
- 21:35SPEAKER_07: And I see it now more than ever.
- 21:36SPEAKER_07: You could all you could almost see when a situation is turning, right?
- 21:40SPEAKER_07: In a different direction.
- 21:41SPEAKER_07: It's like I think Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 21:43SPEAKER_07: pairing up with CJ Stroud and Nico Collins, yeah, bro.
- 21:47SPEAKER_07: Man, Tang Dell, when he gets healthy, yeah, man, it's it's it's gonna be a problem, you know.
- 21:51SPEAKER_05: And I will say too, like being traded, whether you requested it or not, is humbling.
- 21:56SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like being traded or cut in this league is shit.
- 22:00SPEAKER_05: Humbling, like you know, it it forces you to look in the mirror, you know, and figure out like, damn, why didn't they work there?
- 22:07SPEAKER_05: Why why were they so willing to get rid of me?
- 22:10SPEAKER_05: It's it's very it's a it's very humbling experience, and and I guarantee you, uh, you know, I don't know him personally, but just kind of having an idea from the outside looking in and and somebody that can share similar perspective, like I guarantee you, like Houston is gonna get the best version of Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 22:28SPEAKER_05: I'd be scared, man.
- 22:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'd be scared if I was if I did defend because because Nico Collins is a unicorn, bro.
- 22:32SPEAKER_07: He's a unicorn out there, and I can I became familiar to his game a little late.
- 22:36SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but Nico Collins is a is is a true gamer.
- 22:39SPEAKER_07: And so I I I like what Demeko is building over there, man.
- 22:42SPEAKER_07: I think that again, I don't think their record is who they're going to be as the season unfolds or even for you know for future years, so to speak.
- 22:50SPEAKER_07: But I think uh I think uh Marvin Harrison Jr.
- 22:53SPEAKER_07: ended up in a in a phenomenal spot.
- 22:55SPEAKER_07: You do so you know what we do each and every single week, my man.
- 22:58SPEAKER_07: Yep, we talk, we give our unsung players of the week.
- 23:01SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and I'm gonna give mine.
- 23:04SPEAKER_03: What do you have?
- 23:05SPEAKER_03: Tell me what you got, bro.
- 23:06SPEAKER_07: Samaj P.
- 23:06SPEAKER_03: Ryan, yeah.
- 23:07SPEAKER_03: I mean, how could you not?
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna Mr.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: Reliable.
- 23:10SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna give him a nickname.
- 23:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I like that, Mr.
- 23:12SPEAKER_03: Reliable.
- 23:12SPEAKER_03: What you got?
- 23:13SPEAKER_07: The professional most professional player I ever played with, bro.
- 23:17SPEAKER_07: I've gotta just say this though.
- 23:19SPEAKER_07: This should not come as a shock to anybody, yeah.
- 23:22SPEAKER_07: All right, cameras on me, right?
- 23:23SPEAKER_07: Like Samajay P.
- 23:25SPEAKER_07: Ryan holds the NCAA record for most rushing yards in a college football game.
- 23:30SPEAKER_07: I was there.
- 23:31SPEAKER_07: You were, I was.
- 23:32SPEAKER_07: What position did you play?
- 23:34SPEAKER_05: Um, I wasn't on the field, I was riding the bench.
- 23:36SPEAKER_05: Okay, so I showed it.
- 23:38SPEAKER_07: But I seen this shit with my own two eyes.
- 23:40SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he's a gamer, he is.
- 23:43SPEAKER_07: He he's he's a gamer through and through.
- 23:45SPEAKER_07: And you know, I I researched it was Joe Judge.
- 23:48SPEAKER_07: Joe Judge said this, uh former New York Giants head coach, longtime Patriot assistant.
- 23:51SPEAKER_07: He said, It doesn't matter.
- 23:53SPEAKER_07: Don't tell me why a player doesn't work.
- 23:55SPEAKER_07: Tell me why a player does work and how you're gonna make that player work in your system.
- 24:00SPEAKER_07: He said, Don't tell me why a player doesn't fit your system, yeah, right?
- 24:02SPEAKER_07: Tell me why he does.
- 24:04SPEAKER_07: And I look at Samaja P.
- 24:05SPEAKER_07: Ryan, a guy who's been on on different teams around the league, and I think people had so many uh thoughts.
- 24:12SPEAKER_07: Oh, he's he's a backup, or he he he's a third uh third string running back.
- 24:16SPEAKER_07: Samaj P.
- 24:17SPEAKER_07: Ryan is a gamer through and through.
- 24:20SPEAKER_07: He's great in pass protection, he's a downhill runner, he's my unsung hero of the week because I feel like he's a name that goes under the radar.
- 24:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah, we look at big names all the time, but I look at this guy and I say he's a guy, it doesn't matter if he's playing five downs, it don't matter if he's playing ten downs.
- 24:36SPEAKER_07: He comes in and he does his job.
- 24:39SPEAKER_07: Yeah, so I just want to put a lot of respect on some Aja people.
- 24:42SPEAKER_07: I was so glad that he came back to Cincinnati.
- 24:44SPEAKER_07: Yeah, great player, great player, phenomenal player.
- 24:46SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 24:47SPEAKER_05: No, I mean Maja is is definitely my unsung hero.
- 24:50SPEAKER_05: Um, man, I feel like uh I gotta I gotta give a shout out to Jordan Battle, too.
- 24:56SPEAKER_05: You know, I feel like bro, I mean, yeah, my dog said what did he say?
- 24:59SPEAKER_05: Something about pat the ball.
- 25:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he said he pat the ball, yeah.
- 25:02SPEAKER_04: You go catch two picks, yeah.
- 25:04SPEAKER_04: Whether it's right or wrong, talk your shit, J Black.
- 25:07SPEAKER_05: In a big way, let him know, bro.
- 25:08SPEAKER_05: Let him know.
- 25:09SPEAKER_05: So yeah, you know, I'm I'm uh super proud of the way that he came out and and he fought, man, and and played all game.
- 25:14SPEAKER_05: Um, but yeah, it's crazy.
- 25:17SPEAKER_07: There's real truth to this, like let's like NBA.
- 25:20SPEAKER_07: There are some players, bro, that just get better and better as the season goes on.
- 25:26SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and it's like sometimes I don't I think football, I'm like, nah, you know, foot preseason, you you got preseason to build into it, but no, I see Jordan battle getting better and better as the season's going on, it's getting stronger and stronger, and it's like sometimes you forget this is a game of reps, too.
- 25:43SPEAKER_07: It is some guys get into reps and they get their reps under them and they figure out okay, yeah, this is what this is like this crazy, this is what the feeling like.
- 25:49SPEAKER_05: So you sometimes you got to knock off that rust, yeah, right?
- 25:51SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and I think I can relate to that too.
- 25:53SPEAKER_05: Like, I'm somebody throughout the course of my career, honestly, of all if we take the sample size of nine seasons, all but one season, I would say 2024, the start of that season for me.
- 26:04SPEAKER_05: For whatever reason, I was able to start faster than I had in years past.
- 26:09SPEAKER_05: Um, but I'm the same way.
- 26:11SPEAKER_05: Like, my best football is gonna be played in February.
- 26:14SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 26:15SPEAKER_05: And I like that for me, that's the way that I see it.
- 26:18SPEAKER_05: That's the way, and and you know, I I feel like it's always it's always worked out for me well like that.
- 26:23SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 26:24SPEAKER_05: In terms of when everybody else is slowing down and guys are sore, and you know, they might be playing through injury, so am I, you know, so I'm sore too, but like for whatever reason, like I'm able to to to start ascending, yeah, you know, at the right time.
- 26:40SPEAKER_05: Um, and and it's it's been beneficial for my career.
- 26:43SPEAKER_05: And and like you said, like football to be great at this sport is funny.
- 26:46SPEAKER_05: I was just talking to Dex about this.
- 26:48SPEAKER_05: Like, to be great at the sport of football, yeah, you have to have elite feel for the game, you know, and and it's something that I can't necessarily even explain with words, but the feeling of being in those uncomfortable positions and still being able to get the job done.
- 27:06SPEAKER_05: Because for me, in my perspective, what we were talking about, and it's a little bit different for him, obviously playing nose tackle, but like for me, like my best blocks feel so uncomfortable.
- 27:17SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 27:18SPEAKER_05: My best blocks feel I'm I'm it's like so uncomfortable.
- 27:22SPEAKER_05: Like, I can't, I don't even know how to describe it to you.
- 27:24SPEAKER_05: It's like for you know, keeping it simple, I guess, for for the outside world to understand, like at tackle or offensive line, you really don't want to turn, you know, you don't you don't want to give a soft edge.
- 27:36SPEAKER_05: And so the longer you can stay square throughout a pass pro rep, the more likely and higher chance you have a win in that rep.
- 27:44SPEAKER_05: And that's really uncomfortable because you can feel this guy gaining ground, gaining ground, gaining ground.
- 27:50SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 27:51SPEAKER_05: And naturally you want to turn to throw, but my best reps come when I'm extremely square longer.
- 27:57SPEAKER_05: Like, you know, I I think there's a few examples on Sunday where I was just able to stay square longer, throw my hands at the right time, sit on a bull rush, refit, Joe gets the ball out.
- 28:07SPEAKER_05: You know, like that's that those type of those type of reps is crazy.
- 28:11SPEAKER_05: It just sometimes things just take take time, you know.
- 28:14SPEAKER_05: It's it's the the sport of football is such a a feel thing, yeah, you know, for a lot of guys, man.
- 28:19SPEAKER_05: And and you absolutely right about that.
- 28:21SPEAKER_07: Absolutely, man.
- 28:22SPEAKER_07: You know, I I first of all most I don't think I I love that you explained that yeah so in depth.
- 28:27SPEAKER_07: The amount of football you consume, I mean, outside obviously this is your you said you said it the other day on the podcast, made me think.
- 28:33SPEAKER_07: I was like, this is your job, but yeah, but he's like like the amount of football you consume after hours and you're off the clock, like that's all you watch is football, football, football.
- 28:41SPEAKER_07: And like you consume so much of the game.
- 28:43SPEAKER_07: I I think people think of like football, you think of the quarterback position, or you think of the wide receivers.
- 28:49SPEAKER_07: There's an art to it.
- 28:50SPEAKER_07: This is this is this is this is something that you have to you you you you like to have the answers to the test, so to speak, I guess, right?
- 28:58SPEAKER_07: And so just you talk about having that feel of the game, but also knowing what your opponent is trying to do, not trying to give up any ground, any leverage.
- 29:05SPEAKER_07: And you know, there were so many moments I could just even point to on Sunday where I was like, I was like, Oh, oh, be locked in.
- 29:10SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah.
- 29:11SPEAKER_07: I I would I what I call you when we walked in, pancake, pancake.
- 29:15SPEAKER_07: You walked in and just locked in, man.
- 29:16SPEAKER_07: But man, that that would that was a huge game for the Cincinnati Bengals.
- 29:19SPEAKER_07: Also, Dante Myers, again, I know we said it last week.
- 29:21SPEAKER_07: I know, bro.
- 29:22SPEAKER_07: Set the tone, yeah, set the tone in such a big way, and I was so happy for Gasicki.
- 29:26SPEAKER_07: I was so happy for Mikey, Mikey G, man.
- 29:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah, came out, got a touchdown in Miami, you know what I mean?
- 29:30SPEAKER_07: Like in a big way, man.
- 29:32SPEAKER_07: Is again he's a gamer, he's a gamer through and through, but yeah, absolutely, bro.
- 29:35SPEAKER_07: So I thought it was a huge game for the Bengals three and two.
- 29:38SPEAKER_07: Obviously, a huge game coming up, yeah after the bye week, yeah, against the Baltimore Ravens.
- 29:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, right.
- 29:43SPEAKER_07: We know what that's about.
- 29:44SPEAKER_07: We're gonna we're gonna talk about it obviously when the time comes, but this is the bye week now.
- 29:48SPEAKER_07: I want you to enjoy it, man.
- 29:49SPEAKER_07: Enjoy it as much as possible, yeah.
- 29:51SPEAKER_07: And then we'll go from there.

- 30:06SPEAKER_07: We got to get into it.
- 30:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, man.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: We got we got some good questions for you guys.
- 30:10SPEAKER_00: So we got we got three non-football, and then the rest we got five football ones.
- 30:15SPEAKER_05: So the first one, sauna or cold plunge?
- 30:20SPEAKER_05: Wow, you know, it's funny because I would say both.
- 30:24SPEAKER_05: Like, I am a big believer in both.
- 30:27SPEAKER_05: One of my favorite things to do is cold plunge, then hit the sauna.
- 30:32SPEAKER_07: Never done cold plunge.
- 30:34SPEAKER_05: Never done.
- 30:34SPEAKER_05: I've only done sauna.
- 30:35SPEAKER_05: I have a sauna in the house.
- 30:36SPEAKER_05: Yeah, me too.
- 30:36SPEAKER_05: Okay, okay.
- 30:37SPEAKER_05: You gotta get in the cold plunge.
- 30:38SPEAKER_05: Oh cold plunge is a bro, the cold plunge to the sauna.
- 30:42SPEAKER_05: I I I'm not a scientist and all that, but the breakdown, I guess, is your your body gets cold.
- 30:48SPEAKER_05: Okay, and then when you get directly into the sauna, it has to regulate your temperature.
- 30:55SPEAKER_05: So you burn a little bit more calories and it helps speed up blood flow and the active recovery process.
- 31:00SPEAKER_05: All right, okay.
- 31:01SPEAKER_07: I'm getting a cold plunge.
- 31:02SPEAKER_02: Yes, all right, yes, it's worth it.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: It's so worth it.
- 31:04SPEAKER_02: Um how long do you jump in the cold plunge?
- 31:07SPEAKER_05: Uh man, bro.
- 31:08SPEAKER_05: I mean, I do normally do 10 minutes.
- 31:10SPEAKER_05: Yeah, 10 minutes, probably.
- 31:12SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I said I know I said I like the cold.
- 31:14SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I've never I've never done a cold plunge with ice though.
- 31:19SPEAKER_05: Like, I've been in a regulated tub, like upstairs, like my cold plunge upstairs.
- 31:24SPEAKER_05: Like, it's a regulated tub, so like it is a system that like it takes the water and pumps it in at a certain temperature.
- 31:31SPEAKER_05: Like, I've got in there, you know what I mean, and and it's I think it's probably set to like 50 to 45 degrees somewhere in there.
- 31:38SPEAKER_05: Oh, I'm sitting there for 10 minutes.
- 31:40SPEAKER_07: Okay, that don't that don't sound too bad, but I don't know.
- 31:42SPEAKER_05: The idea of sitting in a cold plunge with ice, I don't know.
- 31:46SPEAKER_05: It's yeah, it might, I don't know, I don't know.
- 31:48SPEAKER_05: Maybe it is different.
- 31:49SPEAKER_07: Now, my question to you that is it like so when you got different aches and stuff like that, do you feel it when you go in there?
- 31:55SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like I feel like that it helps though, like it helps with like shocking the body, waking the body up.
- 32:02SPEAKER_05: Um, and then when you go from that cold plunge to the sauna, a lot of times it helps like loosen that muscle up too.
- 32:09SPEAKER_05: Okay, you know what I mean?
- 32:10SPEAKER_05: Like it's a lot of benefits to it.
- 32:12SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I always wondered that because even before cold plunge became like this big thing, yeah, there was like the whole argument of cold showers, yeah, cold showers.
- 32:19SPEAKER_07: I've never taken a cold shower.
- 32:21SPEAKER_05: Bro, I'm telling you, one of the biggest glitches I got in life, like cup of coffee is great, but I'm telling you, for the mornings you feel tired, I know you don't do zones or zens, but nicotine pouch straight in straight into the underlip, cold shower, three minutes, nothing better.
- 32:37SPEAKER_05: Promise you that shit will have me so alert, eyes wise.
- 32:42SPEAKER_05: Yes, he said I could drive 15 hours at that point, yes, bro.
- 32:46SPEAKER_05: Fresh out the bed, cold shower in a nicotine pouch.
- 32:49SPEAKER_05: Wake your ass up, get on no other get off, yes, yes.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: All right, next question if you you guys are listening to music.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: Are you guys more into singing or rapping?
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: It depends.
- 33:02SPEAKER_03: I'm light skinned, bro.
- 33:03SPEAKER_03: What's yeah?
- 33:04SPEAKER_07: Go ahead, what you got?
- 33:06SPEAKER_07: I mean, I like I love singing, I love singing, man.
- 33:09SPEAKER_07: But you know, I could rap a little bit too.
- 33:10SPEAKER_07: I could you know, I could rap a little something, like I could, I could, I could throw a freestyle down, a little something like inside the pocket.
- 33:19SPEAKER_07: Yeah, boy, you better stop it.
- 33:21SPEAKER_07: Yeah, catching passes on third down, like Tyler Lockett's yeah, yeah.
- 33:25SPEAKER_07: I'm here bar for bar.
- 33:26SPEAKER_07: You feel me?
- 33:27SPEAKER_07: I'm here, I'm here.
- 33:29SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I um I'm gonna I it just depends on the mood.
- 33:33SPEAKER_04: Um it depends on the mood for me.
- 33:36SPEAKER_04: I just rapped, yeah.
- 33:38SPEAKER_04: He just spit a whole bar, bro.
- 33:41SPEAKER_04: I like saying it though.
- 33:42SPEAKER_04: I like saying it.
- 33:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, we Drake fans.
- 33:44SPEAKER_07: How you gonna ask us that?
- 33:45SPEAKER_07: You know, you know the vibes, bro.
- 33:47SPEAKER_07: It's iceman season, yes.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: All right, movies or TV shows?
- 33:54SPEAKER_07: Wow, recently I've really gotten into TV shows, me too.
- 33:57SPEAKER_07: My favorite TV show of all time, The Sopranos.
- 34:01SPEAKER_07: I love that show, bro.
- 34:02SPEAKER_07: I love that show.
- 34:02SPEAKER_07: This is crazy how into like this is locked this crazy, yeah.
- 34:05SPEAKER_07: The Sopranos, yeah, uh Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad.
- 34:10SPEAKER_05: Okay, I haven't seen Breaking Bad.
- 34:12SPEAKER_07: It'll change your life.
- 34:13SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 34:13SPEAKER_05: I'll change your life.
- 34:14SPEAKER_05: I tried watching it in college, but I think I was literally I was in class trying to watch it and I couldn't lock in.
- 34:19SPEAKER_05: I never tried it off.
- 34:20SPEAKER_07: I was late to the party, I was late to the party.
- 34:22SPEAKER_07: I mean, I started watching Breaking Bad years after it ended.
- 34:25SPEAKER_07: Like, okay, I think the first time I ever watched Breaking Bad, maybe it was about two years ago.
- 34:28SPEAKER_07: Okay, yeah, damn.
- 34:30SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I I gotta check that one out.
- 34:31SPEAKER_07: I I I go on I go on yearly binges where I watch the Sopranos once a year.
- 34:36SPEAKER_07: Okay, I watch Breaking Bad once a year, yeah.
- 34:38SPEAKER_07: My two favorite and uh you know my two favorite shows of all time, yeah.
- 34:41SPEAKER_05: Bro, I this the Sopranos is elite.
- 34:44SPEAKER_05: I love that one.
- 34:44SPEAKER_05: Like, yeah, I just was watching an episode the other day.
- 34:47SPEAKER_05: I mean, Tony Sopranos is yeah, that's all time TV.
- 34:50SPEAKER_05: Oh, I Jersey, Jersey, bro.
- 34:52SPEAKER_05: You know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:54SPEAKER_07: AJ, yeah, AJ, hey, Pauly, Pauly, you know, like he doesn't look allowed, you know.
- 35:01SPEAKER_04: Damn, movies or TV shows, yeah.
- 35:03SPEAKER_05: It just really depends, bro.
- 35:05SPEAKER_05: Like, I really I love a good movie, I really do.
- 35:08SPEAKER_05: I love a good movie, but in my adulthood in regular life, I feel like I'm watching more TV shows than I am movies, bro.
- 35:14SPEAKER_07: You know what's an underrated TV show?
- 35:15SPEAKER_05: What's that?
- 35:16SPEAKER_07: Abbott Elementary.
- 35:17SPEAKER_05: Never seen it, but I've seen it come up on my shit.
- 35:20SPEAKER_05: Great, and I've seen people talk about it.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: Great show.
- 35:22SPEAKER_07: Really, great show.
- 35:22SPEAKER_07: I I've never watched it consecutively, like episode by episode, season by season.
- 35:28SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but I'll I have no problem if I'm cooking or cleaning or something like that.
- 35:32SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'll turn on episode Abbott.
- 35:34SPEAKER_07: I mean, it's hilarious.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: It is, it's funny, yeah.
- 35:36SPEAKER_05: It's it's funny.
- 35:37SPEAKER_05: A two, I got two series for you, okay.
- 35:39SPEAKER_05: Because I'm like, I'm somebody like if I'm watching TV, I like weird shit.
- 35:44SPEAKER_05: I just uh um lanterns.
- 35:46SPEAKER_05: I don't know if you heard about that one on HBO Max.
- 35:48SPEAKER_05: Never great show, great show.
- 35:50SPEAKER_05: Lanterns, yeah.
- 35:51SPEAKER_05: Write that down for me.
- 35:52SPEAKER_05: Lantern it's just green lantern, it's some superheroes, okay.
- 35:54SPEAKER_05: But I love the story plot of it.
- 35:56SPEAKER_05: That one's really good.
- 35:57SPEAKER_05: But the two I've like over the years I've watched, and sometimes I catch myself going back.
- 36:01SPEAKER_05: Uh Childish Gambino had Atlanta, Atlanta.
- 36:04SPEAKER_05: Okay, I heard it.
- 36:05SPEAKER_05: Have you ever seen this game on FX?
- 36:06SPEAKER_07: No, I've never seen it, but I heard it, yeah.
- 36:08SPEAKER_05: Bro, it's weird as hell, but it's funny as shit.
- 36:10SPEAKER_05: Okay, okay.
- 36:11SPEAKER_05: I love that one.
- 36:12SPEAKER_05: And then um uh Twilight Zone, uh Key and Peel.
- 36:17SPEAKER_05: What's my guy's name that that made all the moves made us Jordan Jordan?
- 36:21SPEAKER_05: Jordan, Jordan Peel, Jordan Peel, yeah.
- 36:23SPEAKER_05: Bro, he he basically redid the Twilight Zone.
- 36:26SPEAKER_05: Wow, okay.
- 36:26SPEAKER_05: Two seasons work, okay.
- 36:28SPEAKER_05: Bro, it's it's a quality wise, it's like Black Mirror almost on Netflix.
- 36:31SPEAKER_07: I don't know if you've seen it never seen, but I've seen I've seen commercial, I've seen like not commercial, but like a little trailer, yeah.
- 36:35SPEAKER_07: So pass it through a shit.
- 36:36SPEAKER_05: It's similar like that, bro.
- 36:37SPEAKER_05: But it's like it's good, it's good inner entertainment, and you don't have to have necessarily watch it all in sequence, you know what I mean?
- 36:45SPEAKER_05: Like, it's just good, good, good quality, weird shit going on that'll keep you engaged.
- 36:49SPEAKER_05: Like, what's about to happen and why are they doing this?
- 36:51SPEAKER_05: Like, man, what's the story behind this?
- 36:53SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna drop two on you now.
- 36:54SPEAKER_05: Who you got?
- 36:55SPEAKER_07: Scandal.
- 36:56SPEAKER_07: Wait, why do I Scandal Olivia uh Olivia Pope?
- 37:00SPEAKER_07: Uh what was her name, man?
- 37:02SPEAKER_07: Carrie Yeah, yeah.
- 37:04SPEAKER_04: I see, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:06SPEAKER_04: Okay, yeah.
- 37:06SPEAKER_04: I see, yeah, yeah.
- 37:07SPEAKER_05: Carrie Washington, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:09SPEAKER_05: My goat, my goat.
- 37:10SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 37:11SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I haven't seen it because Scandal, I thought I might have watched it in college early on.
- 37:14SPEAKER_05: So good.
- 37:15SPEAKER_05: Yeah, it is.
- 37:16SPEAKER_07: Uh, how to get away with murder.
- 37:17SPEAKER_07: Amazing.
- 37:18SPEAKER_07: Violet.
- 37:18SPEAKER_05: I've seen that one too, Viola Davis.
- 37:19SPEAKER_07: Great, fire, fire, fire.
- 37:22SPEAKER_07: Um, there's another one called Designated Survivor.
- 37:26SPEAKER_05: Never heard of this one.
- 37:27SPEAKER_07: It's amazing.
- 37:28SPEAKER_07: What's it?
- 37:29SPEAKER_07: So basically, it's the entire, you know, US, whatever the case may be, they're at the um the State of the Union address.
- 37:38SPEAKER_07: And it it teaches so much about government, too, okay, that I didn't even know.
- 37:42SPEAKER_07: Basically, no matter what, when all the senator senators and presidents and all that stuff get together, yeah, one person is named designated survivor.
- 37:52SPEAKER_07: Oh, wow.
- 37:53SPEAKER_07: And they're at an undisclosed location, meaning if anything crazy happens, that person assumes the role of president of the United States.
- 38:02SPEAKER_07: Oh, wow.
- 38:03SPEAKER_07: They usually pick just a random person, so it really could just be like uh an environment leader or something like that, somebody random.
- 38:13SPEAKER_07: Just but just imagine you having a lower level job, yeah, and then something crazy happens, god forbid, of course.
- 38:20SPEAKER_07: Yeah, you become president of the United States.
- 38:22SPEAKER_07: Damn.
- 38:22SPEAKER_07: So that's what it's about.
- 38:23SPEAKER_07: But it it's it's so much more intense, bro.
- 38:25SPEAKER_07: Okay, well, I'm gonna check this out.
- 38:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's it's Kiefer Sutherland, my goat, okay, did such a great job acting and on that show.
- 38:34SPEAKER_07: It was a phenomenal show, bro.
- 38:36SPEAKER_07: Phenomenal show.
- 38:37SPEAKER_07: 10 out of 10.
- 38:38SPEAKER_07: All right.
- 38:38SPEAKER_07: So are you a Stranger Things fan too?
- 38:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, I've seen.
- 38:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 38:42SPEAKER_07: Stranger Things is was was one of my shows.
- 38:44SPEAKER_07: Yeah, Stranger Things.
- 38:45SPEAKER_07: I was sad.
- 38:46SPEAKER_07: Did you see the last season?
- 38:47SPEAKER_05: Uh I haven't seen it last season, but everything prior up to the next one.
- 38:49SPEAKER_05: I'm not gonna say anything, yeah.
- 38:50SPEAKER_07: I'm not gonna say anything, yeah.
- 38:52SPEAKER_07: Well, I'll I what I will recommend is because so much time has passed, yeah.
- 38:55SPEAKER_07: Start start over again.
- 38:56SPEAKER_07: Okay, start over again.
- 38:57SPEAKER_07: All right, okay.
- 38:58SPEAKER_07: Marissa and me had a had a back and forth conversation on it.
- 39:01SPEAKER_07: She was letting me in.
- 39:02SPEAKER_07: We we it left me a little stumped a little bit after, but it but I'll leave it at that.
- 39:06SPEAKER_07: Sorry, continue.
- 39:08SPEAKER_00: Did you pick a few movies there?
- 39:10SPEAKER_07: Oh, TV shows.
- 39:11SPEAKER_07: I think because I feel like a lot of movies are like repetitive nowadays.
- 39:14SPEAKER_07: I feel like they kind of just remake movies that have already happened, yeah.
- 39:18SPEAKER_07: You know what I mean?
- 39:19SPEAKER_07: And it's like there's not a lot of creativity, right?
- 39:21SPEAKER_05: I also I yeah, I'm with you on that, and I just feel like TV shows in today's world like is more accommodating to just watch a TV show as opposed to sit down and watch a two-hour movie.
- 39:33SPEAKER_07: Although there is this one movie that I want to see in theaters right now, which one?
- 39:36SPEAKER_07: It's called Other Mommy, and it's about like the what the fuck that sounds crazy.
- 39:40SPEAKER_07: That sounds crazy.
- 39:43SPEAKER_07: But it's like a horror movie, actually, where like I don't know the plot of it, honestly, but I just saw commercials and it's it's freaky.
- 39:50SPEAKER_07: Basically, like it's like I guess there's a uh uh a person possessing the mom, and it's somebody acting like the mom, and it's really not the mom, and it it it looks crazy, okay.
- 40:00SPEAKER_07: But you know, they're they just open up the these theaters, these 40x theaters.
- 40:04SPEAKER_07: Oh, yeah, I've never been.
- 40:05SPEAKER_07: Yeah, apparently they're crazy.
- 40:07SPEAKER_05: Yeah, they are.
- 40:07SPEAKER_05: I heard yeah.
- 40:08SPEAKER_07: I just saw I just saw Resident Evil, the new one.
- 40:10SPEAKER_07: Yeah, not my thing, right?
- 40:12SPEAKER_07: So you're a horror film guy?
- 40:13SPEAKER_07: I'm a huge horror film guy, bro.
- 40:15SPEAKER_07: What the fuck?
- 40:15SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'm just so jersey.
- 40:17SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I'm a huge horror, bro.
- 40:18SPEAKER_07: If it's not hard, bro, bro, you're so jersey, bro.
- 40:22SPEAKER_07: I through and through, bro.
- 40:23SPEAKER_07: Like, I like uh I love watching Halloween this time of year, yeah.
- 40:27SPEAKER_07: Michael Myers, yeah.
- 40:28SPEAKER_07: Although I keep wondering, like, why do people just randomly fall?
- 40:31SPEAKER_07: Like, why do you randomly fall?
- 40:32SPEAKER_01: Like, yeah, I don't know.
- 40:34SPEAKER_07: I don't I don't know either.
- 40:35SPEAKER_07: Honestly, I won't honestly though, I won't, I won't, I won't fret people too much on that because like I guess when you when you're running away from somebody that's chasing you, you uh you your keys are are uh like you're you're you're shaking and stuff like that.
- 40:48SPEAKER_07: I had a uh incident earlier today.
- 40:50SPEAKER_07: Funny enough, I got this one neighbor.
- 40:51SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he'll never see the show.
- 40:52SPEAKER_07: That's all I'll say him.
- 40:53SPEAKER_07: He loves to talk.
- 40:54SPEAKER_07: Oh, he loves to stop me and talk.
- 40:56SPEAKER_07: Okay, and oh shit, sure enough, bro.
- 41:01SPEAKER_07: Uh but but when he he's he's an awesome dude.
- 41:04SPEAKER_07: Let me shout out him.
- 41:05SPEAKER_07: I don't even know his name, but shout out him.
- 41:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah, he'll talk to you for 40 minutes.
- 41:10SPEAKER_03: Oh shit, and that's like my that's my nightmare.
- 41:13SPEAKER_05: Like, what kind of talk to you though?
- 41:15SPEAKER_05: Like you're like bro, like you ask, like he, you're like, Hey, how was your day?
- 41:19SPEAKER_05: And then he tells you about his whole year, like kind of guy, or he's talking the entire time.
- 41:24SPEAKER_07: Damn, but like that's fucking tough, it's tough, bro.
- 41:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but he's he's much older, and I like so like uh the point I was trying to make was I got out of my truck today, yeah, and I hauled behind to my door, and it was locked, obviously.
- 41:39SPEAKER_07: And I'm trying to find my keys because I'm like, nah, because if he sees me, yeah, it's over with.
- 41:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he'll be like, hey, hey Malik, everybody.
- 41:47SPEAKER_03: How's it going?
- 41:48SPEAKER_07: Oh man, so like when I saw when I was right when I was driving down my private drive, bro, and I saw him off to the right, I said, Daniel, run to the I said, run to the door, bro.
- 41:57SPEAKER_07: Run to the door, and I'll be I'll be lying if I didn't tell you I fumbled them keys a couple of things.
- 42:02SPEAKER_06: Yo, that is so funny.
- 42:04SPEAKER_07: So I so for a fact, I could understand if Michael Myers or somebody is chasing you, you're probably gonna fumble your keys.
- 42:11SPEAKER_07: Yeah, right.
- 42:11SPEAKER_07: It's a lot to keep up with.
- 42:12SPEAKER_07: My neighbor, all that being said, my neighbor is not Michael Myers.
- 42:15SPEAKER_07: I'll leave it at that.
- 42:15SPEAKER_07: He's not he's not Michael Myers, dope dude, dope individual.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: It's hilarious.
- 42:20SPEAKER_00: So we got five football questions.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: First one, what's the toughest college football conference?
- 42:24SPEAKER_00: Is it Big Ten or SEC?
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: SEC.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: SEC for sure, bro.
- 42:28SPEAKER_07: You know, a lot of people nowadays.
- 42:32SPEAKER_07: People are saying, oh, Ohio State or this or that, or you know, Michigan.
- 42:36SPEAKER_07: Um all respect to him.
- 42:39SPEAKER_07: I know Indiana won the national championship, but SEC speaks for itself, man.
- 42:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it does, you know, speaks for itself, yeah.
- 42:45SPEAKER_07: And and and a lot of the stars that leave, uh, no, no disrespect either.
- 42:48SPEAKER_07: A lot of the stars they they translate you know such a in such a big way to the NFL.
- 42:52SPEAKER_05: Yeah, can we pull up the last SEC defensive players of the year?
- 42:58SPEAKER_05: Let's pull those up real quick.
- 42:59SPEAKER_03: Just just so I I know who one of them is.
- 43:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I do too.
- 43:02SPEAKER_03: Uh, you know, I know one of them is.
- 43:04SPEAKER_05: I can at least name two two on that list, right?
- 43:06SPEAKER_07: Let's see if let's let's see, let's see.
- 43:08SPEAKER_05: Yeah, name two.
- 43:09SPEAKER_05: Uh Cassius Howell, yep, Will Anderson Jr.
- 43:13SPEAKER_05: Like Pat Sertane gonna be on there.
- 43:17SPEAKER_05: I mean, it's nothing but it's nothing but ah, yo, he cooked.
- 43:21SPEAKER_05: Who we got on here?
- 43:22SPEAKER_07: Cassius Howell last year, yeah, Kyle Kennard, yeah, Dallas Turner.
- 43:26SPEAKER_07: By the way, shout out Dallas Turner, phenomenal season, balling, phenomenal season, insane, insane.
- 43:33SPEAKER_07: That dude, bro.
- 43:34SPEAKER_07: Balling.
- 43:34SPEAKER_07: He he he's a dog, uh, and he went to Bama, so you know.
- 43:38SPEAKER_07: Will Anderson, Will Anderson again, Patrick Sertane, Derrick Brown, one of the best you know defensive tackles in football, bro.
- 43:46SPEAKER_07: Yeah, one of the best.
- 43:47SPEAKER_07: Yeah, uh, Josh Allen, shout out him.
- 43:50SPEAKER_07: Did I ever tell you, tell you, bro?
- 43:51SPEAKER_07: I uh you know, I I grew up with him.
- 43:53SPEAKER_07: I did not know that.
- 43:54SPEAKER_07: He's from Jersey, he's from Jersey.
- 43:55SPEAKER_05: I did not know that.
- 43:56SPEAKER_07: His his sister and me were like best friends growing up, Myesha Heinz.
- 44:00SPEAKER_07: Allen.
- 44:00SPEAKER_07: She's in the WNBA.
- 44:01SPEAKER_05: Oh, okay.
- 44:02SPEAKER_07: And she plays for, she used to play for the Washington Mystics.
- 44:05SPEAKER_07: I don't know who she plays for now.
- 44:06SPEAKER_07: She's on a fever now.
- 44:07SPEAKER_07: She won a championship.
- 44:08SPEAKER_07: I know that, I think.
- 44:09SPEAKER_07: But um, yeah, Myesha Hines Allen, absolute beast.
- 44:12SPEAKER_07: But Reggie Ragland, look, Jonathan Allen, you look like somebody named Roquan Smith, gamer.
- 44:17SPEAKER_05: Like everybody on this list is like is a dude prop still.
- 44:21SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 44:22SPEAKER_05: Or or was a dude at some point, like in the NFL.
- 44:25SPEAKER_07: Bro, Patrick Willis is yeah, I mean, Eric Berry.
- 44:28SPEAKER_05: Yeah, bro.
- 44:28SPEAKER_05: The SEC, like, and I'm a Big 12 guy, like, but nothing compares to this shit, bro.
- 44:34SPEAKER_05: SEC got it on lock.
- 44:35SPEAKER_05: Speaks for itself, man.
- 44:36SPEAKER_05: And speaking of SEC, I know y'all seen what OU did to Texas this weekend.
- 44:42SPEAKER_05: Horns down, fuck Texas.
- 44:44SPEAKER_05: I'll say it again.
- 44:45SPEAKER_05: Horns down, fuck Texas.
- 44:47SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 44:48SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, straight up.
- 44:49SPEAKER_05: We got to business.
- 44:50SPEAKER_05: Yep.
- 44:51SPEAKER_05: Hell yeah.
- 44:51SPEAKER_05: And shout out the kicker.
- 44:53SPEAKER_05: Tate.
- 44:53SPEAKER_05: I saw what you did.
- 44:54SPEAKER_05: I seen you talking that shit.
- 44:56SPEAKER_05: Yes, sir.
- 44:56SPEAKER_05: We're gonna make sure you get a big ass gold hat.
- 44:59SPEAKER_05: You're gonna have it for the next year.
- 45:00SPEAKER_05: Yes, sir.
- 45:01SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 45:01SPEAKER_05: And then next year, when you see him again, gonna kick that motherfucker right through again.
- 45:05SPEAKER_05: Yes, sir.
- 45:05SPEAKER_05: Yes, sir.
- 45:06SPEAKER_05: Hold it down.
- 45:08SPEAKER_07: You know, I didn't even want to touch college football this week, man.
- 45:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah, no, you didn't.
- 45:12SPEAKER_07: Nah, I what happened?
- 45:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, we lost.
- 45:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I know, I know, because Mills was talking that shit.
- 45:17SPEAKER_07: Yeah, all right, man.
- 45:19SPEAKER_07: So listen, this is directly directed towards you, man.
- 45:22SPEAKER_07: They screwed us.
- 45:23SPEAKER_07: We got screwed, bro.
- 45:25SPEAKER_07: That was past interference through and through.
- 45:27SPEAKER_07: Everybody, everybody knows it was pass interference, but nonetheless, all respect.
- 45:33SPEAKER_07: But like I always say, God, family, and nothing but the tide.
- 45:39SPEAKER_07: Roll tide.
- 45:42SPEAKER_07: Yo, I don't give a piss about nothing but the tide.
- 45:44SPEAKER_07: Yo, Willie.
- 45:45SPEAKER_07: Willie is hilarious on Instagram.
- 45:47SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 45:48SPEAKER_07: Nothing but the tie.
- 45:49SPEAKER_04: Nothing but the tie.
- 45:50SPEAKER_07: Man.
- 45:51SPEAKER_07: Made me think of Drisky for two years.
- 45:55SPEAKER_00: Oh my god.
- 45:56SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 45:57SPEAKER_00: So we got what is the toughest position in football to play?
- 46:03SPEAKER_05: Wow.
- 46:04SPEAKER_05: Um I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Davious, quarterback.
- 46:10SPEAKER_05: Um that's probably gonna be my number one.
- 46:14SPEAKER_05: Okay.
- 46:15SPEAKER_07: Um I got one.
- 46:17SPEAKER_05: What you got?
- 46:18SPEAKER_07: I think cornerback.
- 46:19SPEAKER_05: I that's my that's my number two.
- 46:21SPEAKER_07: I I think it's such an offensive-driven league, bro.
- 46:24SPEAKER_07: Bro, if you touch it football too, bro, yes, high school football for sure, bro.
- 46:29SPEAKER_07: You touch a guy, it's like pass interference.
- 46:31SPEAKER_07: Like, what do you do?
- 46:32SPEAKER_07: You have to it takes that.
- 46:34SPEAKER_07: That's why I respect I respect so many guys in this league, but guys like guys like Patrick Certeen, yeah, just beautiful technique, bro.
- 46:43SPEAKER_07: Yeah, um, I think another guy that didn't get enough credit, I think he might have retired, he might not be retired, Jair Alexander.
- 46:51SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he was for so long, in my opinion, the best cornerback in football, and nobody ever talked about it.
- 46:57SPEAKER_07: His technique was so beautiful out there, bro.
- 47:01SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and like, man, I I I think I think I think it says a lot about a guy who has beautiful technique, able to mirror the receiver and able to, you know, take away what that receiver is trying to do.
- 47:12SPEAKER_07: For sure, bro.
- 47:12SPEAKER_05: It's so difficult.
- 47:13SPEAKER_05: For sure.
- 47:13SPEAKER_05: I I think like quarterback, man-to-man corner, offensive tackle.
- 47:20SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah.
- 47:20SPEAKER_05: Like to me, those three, left or right, yeah, like I feel like those three are the hardest positions to play in football.
- 47:27SPEAKER_05: Um, and there's so many examples of that.
- 47:31SPEAKER_05: You know, I I can't think of how many people are able to get into football late in life and be a quarterback.
- 47:40SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 47:41SPEAKER_05: Like, I feel like you never hear the story about, oh, this guy just started playing football three years ago, and you know, now he's a Heisman level quarterback in college.
- 47:51SPEAKER_05: Like, I just feel like it doesn't happen.
- 47:52SPEAKER_05: Like, quarterback is one of those positions, like you have had to experience it for X amount of time to be able to do it at a high level.
- 48:01SPEAKER_05: Absolutely.
- 48:02SPEAKER_05: You know what I'm saying?
- 48:03SPEAKER_05: Like, it's really difficult to do on every level.
- 48:05SPEAKER_05: Um, corner, you know what I mean, is another position.
- 48:08SPEAKER_05: Like you said, like you gotta have tremendous athleticism, feel, understanding.
- 48:15SPEAKER_05: It's it's a lot that goes in the play corner.
- 48:18SPEAKER_05: And it's funny because I was talking to DJ Turner about this this offseason because I've never I've never really like sat down with a corner and asked questions.
- 48:26SPEAKER_05: And you know, I I've played with a lot of great ones throughout my career.
- 48:29SPEAKER_05: Like Marcus Peters comes to mind, and I remember talking to him about certain things, and he was just like, he was so elite at understanding formations and splits and leverages in what they were gonna run.
- 48:43SPEAKER_05: He was elite.
- 48:43SPEAKER_05: Well, bro, I mean, he just had he had tremendous his IQ of the game is was so high that he could he was gonna make two to three plays a game that just only Marcus Peters could make, you know what I'm saying?
- 48:56SPEAKER_05: Um interception machine too.
- 48:57SPEAKER_05: Yeah, bro.
- 48:58SPEAKER_05: He he really opened my eyes on like the the corner position and and kind of like what it takes to play it at a at a high level.
- 49:04SPEAKER_05: Um, and then yeah, offensive tackle, bro.
- 49:06SPEAKER_05: I mean, you gotta you you gotta have feel, you gotta have tremendous feel to be able to play the position and and be great at it.
- 49:14SPEAKER_05: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 49:15SPEAKER_05: And and there's been a lot of uh really good tackles to come through the league, man, but not not a ton of great ones, you know what I mean?
- 49:22SPEAKER_05: And so it's so funny.
- 49:23SPEAKER_07: We were talking about that.
- 49:24SPEAKER_07: You like there's a lot of tackles in the league, and a lot of them you don't know by name, yeah.
- 49:27SPEAKER_05: Like, but but some of the ones you know by name, you know by name.
- 49:30SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 49:31SPEAKER_05: Like it's it's not it may not be a ton of household names.
- 49:35SPEAKER_05: Um, and and offensive tackle now is a little bit more popular than it was uh when I came in the league because now, like, you know, they highlight offensive line and things like that.
- 49:44SPEAKER_05: But like, you know, some of these younger generation guys, like Darnell Wright comes to mind, man, Christian Derisol, Mims, um, you know, those kind of those kind of guys are like up and coming and and you know, they're they're uh gone out and you know, Darnell's got the accolades and things like that.
- 49:59SPEAKER_05: But like, you know, young Darisol, young memes, man, like they're they're really good football players that have tremendous feel and they're freak athletes.
- 50:06SPEAKER_05: Uh they get away with a lot of lot of uh things that they might like fundamentally that make up for with it from an athleticism standpoint.
- 50:13SPEAKER_07: Oh yeah, I agree, man.
- 50:15SPEAKER_07: I I personally, and maybe it's because we do the we do the show now and how close you and I have gotten as well.
- 50:20SPEAKER_07: But I actually love watching offensive tackle play now.
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: Oh yeah, bro.
- 50:24SPEAKER_07: I love watching it, bro.
- 50:25SPEAKER_07: Uh I think that I always say this, put a hat on a hat and just seeing I think sometimes when people watch offensive line play, unless you're taking a guy and you're throwing him in the dirt, right?
- 50:34SPEAKER_07: It's like, oh, he's whatever or whatever.
- 50:37SPEAKER_07: It's like, nah, man, there's there, there is there is beauty in the position.
- 50:41SPEAKER_07: I also say one of the hardest positions I'll say, uh playing this might this might go a little unsung, but maybe because I'm just weird.
- 50:49SPEAKER_07: But punter, I think punter's extremely difficult, bro.
- 50:52SPEAKER_03: Um any specialist, bro.
- 50:54SPEAKER_07: Bro, like to me, I don't know.
- 50:56SPEAKER_07: I'm weird about people like diving at my legs, yeah, or trying to, and like to me, the mental fortitude it takes to like take that snap and boot that bitch 50 yards down the field while it's trying to block, bro.
- 51:11SPEAKER_07: Bro, I don't know, I can never do it.
- 51:12SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I I think too, the thing about like specialists to me, uh, that kind of goes unnoticed is a punter might only get four kicks a game.
- 51:22SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like yeah, he has four plays he's getting graded on.
- 51:25SPEAKER_05: Right, he better bet bat a thousand, yeah through and through.
- 51:30SPEAKER_05: And and like I I've never played another sport, like I've never I never play organized basketball, you know what I mean?
- 51:37SPEAKER_05: Like I was I played organized, shot putting discus.
- 51:40SPEAKER_05: Like I never played organized basketball, organized baseball.
- 51:44SPEAKER_05: Like, and just from the outside looking in in those areas, I feel like football is so much pressure, like play to play, quarter to quarter, position to position.
- 51:54SPEAKER_05: Like punter and kicker, it's a lot of pressure, bro, because you don't get they don't get as many opportunities as I get.
- 52:00SPEAKER_05: Like I got 76 plays or whatever, 66 plays on Sunday.
- 52:04SPEAKER_05: I mean, what how many did Ryan Rico have, bro?
- 52:06SPEAKER_05: Five, four, yeah, you know what I'm saying?
- 52:08SPEAKER_05: Like, like that's that in itself is a lot of pressure to have to go out there knowing okay, I'm gonna get four or five opportunities again.
- 52:16SPEAKER_05: These guys, these have to be the best reps of my life, which is insane.
- 52:20SPEAKER_07: Even talking about Ryan Rico.
- 52:21SPEAKER_07: I'll never forget, we're at the NFL Combine.
- 52:23SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and Daniel actually put me on him.
- 52:25SPEAKER_07: Oh wow, where else are we at the NFL Combine?
- 52:27SPEAKER_07: Ryan, if you see this, you'll probably remember.
- 52:29SPEAKER_07: He's at the podium, nobody's talking to him.
- 52:32SPEAKER_07: Oh, wow, nobody.
- 52:33SPEAKER_07: He was sitting off, you know, you know how the NFL combine is, how the podium's in him.
- 52:36SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he's sitting there and he's like just chilling, drinking his water, whatever the case may be.
- 52:41SPEAKER_07: And then Daniel's like, he's gonna be a gamer.
- 52:44SPEAKER_07: Oh wow, you need to watch him.
- 52:45SPEAKER_07: And we went, shout out Dan.
- 52:47SPEAKER_07: Good eye.
- 52:47SPEAKER_07: We went out, we sat and we talked to Ryan Rico 15 minutes straight.
- 52:51SPEAKER_07: Nobody came over and asked any questions.
- 52:52SPEAKER_07: We was just one on uh us one-on-one talking to Ryan Rico.
- 52:55SPEAKER_07: He wasn't even in Cincinnati at this point.
- 52:57SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they had like Austin McNamara in here, yeah, Brad Robbins, yeah.
- 53:01SPEAKER_07: Um, and then I think they brought him in.
- 53:04SPEAKER_07: Yeah, they brought him in at some point.
- 53:06SPEAKER_05: Yeah, he went to Kansas City first.
- 53:08SPEAKER_05: He was in Kansas City, and then I think they brought in Areza, yeah, to KC.
- 53:12SPEAKER_05: Yeah, and then that's how we were able to bring in Ryan.
- 53:14SPEAKER_07: And and and Ryan absolutely spent a dog, yeah.
- 53:18SPEAKER_05: Bro, he's he's just so he's so good, and he's so consistent.
- 53:22SPEAKER_05: Like, he's so good, he's so consistent.
- 53:25SPEAKER_05: And in today's NFL, for as good as these offenses are, field position, and honestly, it's been like that through the course of NFL history, but like field position is so much more important.
- 53:35SPEAKER_05: He's a weapon, man.
- 53:37SPEAKER_07: Him and Evan are weapons, like like I think I think I forgot what game it was.
- 53:41SPEAKER_07: Uh I think I think Ryan uncorked a 60 yard.
- 53:44SPEAKER_07: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 53:45SPEAKER_07: Might have been might have been even longer, actually.
- 53:48SPEAKER_07: Might have been like 65 yard punt.
- 53:49SPEAKER_07: I remember people like, wow, like whoa, we haven't seen that, yeah.
- 53:52SPEAKER_07: Here in quite some time.
- 53:53SPEAKER_07: But yeah, Ryan is a specialist.
- 53:55SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he's different.
- 53:56SPEAKER_07: Yeah, man.
- 53:56SPEAKER_07: I I really want to see Money Mac hit a 66 yarder.
- 53:59SPEAKER_07: I think he can do it.
- 53:59SPEAKER_07: He can.
- 54:00SPEAKER_05: I think I've seen, I've seen him, yeah.
- 54:01SPEAKER_05: I I can't remember how much it was, but I've definitely seen him hit a 60 yarder.
- 54:05SPEAKER_07: Bro, I I knew he was gonna be nice.
- 54:07SPEAKER_07: Do you remember the the viral videos where people would throw something?
- 54:12SPEAKER_07: He did that uh that was fire.
- 54:15SPEAKER_00: That was shout out, shout out so we got three more.
- 54:19SPEAKER_00: So it's fourth and one.
- 54:21SPEAKER_00: You guys need one yard.
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, okay.
- 54:24SPEAKER_00: You have to pick one running back in NFL history to pick up that yard.
- 54:28SPEAKER_00: Who would it be?
- 54:32SPEAKER_00: Pick any running back, Marshawn Lynch.
- 54:34SPEAKER_05: Marshawn Lynch for you.
- 54:35SPEAKER_05: Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna go with um I'm gonna go with uh old school bruise bruiser.
- 54:42SPEAKER_05: I mean, we could literally say any name, but I'm gonna go with old school bruiser here.
- 54:46SPEAKER_05: I'm gonna go with uh Jamal Lewis.
- 54:47SPEAKER_05: Jamal Lewis.
- 54:48SPEAKER_05: Give me Jamal Lewis for a yard, fourth and one for a lifetime.
- 54:53SPEAKER_07: You're a gamer because I don't know who that is.
- 54:55SPEAKER_05: You don't know who Jay Lewis is.
- 54:57SPEAKER_05: Oh my god.
- 54:58SPEAKER_03: You gotta put me on.
- 54:59SPEAKER_05: Oh my god.
- 55:00SPEAKER_05: Jamal Lewis is like Jamal Lewis is one of the best running backs of me in your generation.
- 55:07SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 55:08SPEAKER_05: Okay, yes, and he had a stretch there from I'm gonna say 2000 until probably like 08, 09 of being a guy.
- 55:18SPEAKER_05: Like he was he was extremely talented.
- 55:20SPEAKER_05: He rushed for 2,000 yards.
- 55:22SPEAKER_05: I think it's the 03 season in Baltimore.
- 55:24SPEAKER_05: Um, he was my dad's running back as well, one of my dad's good friends.
- 55:28SPEAKER_05: So I'm a little biased here.
- 55:29SPEAKER_05: But uh went to the University of Tennessee, but just a really, really special player, bro.
- 55:34SPEAKER_05: Oh, that's what's up, yeah.
- 55:35SPEAKER_05: No, he was just he was also a dog.
- 55:36SPEAKER_05: I mean, I think he might he might have a record for most rushing yards in a game, too.
- 55:41SPEAKER_05: Really?
- 55:42SPEAKER_05: Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah.
- 55:44SPEAKER_05: He might have a record for most rushing yards in a game as well.
- 55:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we got the numbers up.
- 55:48SPEAKER_05: J Lou four yard.
- 55:49SPEAKER_05: J.
- 55:49SPEAKER_05: Lou for yard.
- 55:50SPEAKER_05: Give me that.
- 55:50SPEAKER_07: Okay, okay.
- 55:51SPEAKER_07: I got one underrated guy.
- 55:53SPEAKER_07: Okay, who you got?
- 55:54SPEAKER_07: Former Bengal.
- 55:54SPEAKER_07: Okay, former Patriot.
- 55:56SPEAKER_07: Okay, you're an encyclopedia when it comes.
- 55:58SPEAKER_07: No, no, you closed.
- 55:59SPEAKER_05: You closed.
- 55:59SPEAKER_05: Um you're an encyclopedia when it comes to Jeremy Hill.
- 56:02SPEAKER_05: Um, Bengal Patriot running back.
- 56:08SPEAKER_05: What years?
- 56:10SPEAKER_05: Oh man, now you're testing me.
- 56:11SPEAKER_07: Oh man, it was 2000 and what you're talking about.
- 56:16SPEAKER_07: Yeah, the law firm.
- 56:18SPEAKER_07: Oh wow, the law firm, Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, man.
- 56:23SPEAKER_07: Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, man.
- 56:24SPEAKER_07: Yeah, bro.
- 56:25SPEAKER_07: He was he never like he would never fumble.
- 56:28SPEAKER_07: Yes.
- 56:28SPEAKER_07: I remember when he did fumble, it was like, oh my god, Ben Jarvis Green Ellis fumble for the first the law firm Ben Jarvis Green Ellis.
- 56:35SPEAKER_07: He was awesome for the bangers.
- 56:36SPEAKER_07: Was that his dick date?
- 56:37SPEAKER_07: The law firm.
- 56:38SPEAKER_07: That's what they called him.
- 56:39SPEAKER_07: That's what they called it.
- 56:40SPEAKER_07: I think he's still here in Cincinnati, too, man.
- 56:42SPEAKER_07: Shout out Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, man.
- 56:43SPEAKER_07: I remember, man, he he would always fall forward.
- 56:45SPEAKER_07: His his his getup, his attire was was fire too.
- 56:48SPEAKER_07: We could pull him up, actually.
- 56:49SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he used to have his he used to have the gloves if I remember correctly.
- 56:52SPEAKER_07: He had the half sleeves.
- 56:53SPEAKER_07: Yeah, he had uh he was the only running back I've seen tape his gloves.
- 56:57SPEAKER_07: Oh he would tape his gloves.
- 56:58SPEAKER_07: Damn, like he he his Ben Jarvis Green Ellis was such a phenomenal player, man.
- 57:04SPEAKER_07: Yeah, there he is.
- 57:05SPEAKER_07: Ben Jarvis Green Ellis, the law firm, man.
- 57:07SPEAKER_07: His swag was undeniable.
- 57:09SPEAKER_07: Yeah, man.
- 57:10SPEAKER_07: There he is.
- 57:10SPEAKER_07: Yeah, Ben Jarvis, man.
- 57:12SPEAKER_07: Shout out Ben Jarvis Green.
- 57:12SPEAKER_04: I didn't want to say, Yeah, yo, he did tape his gloves.
- 57:15SPEAKER_07: He did tape his gloves.
- 57:16SPEAKER_07: Yeah, that's it.
- 57:17SPEAKER_07: Yeah, Ben Jarvis.
- 57:18SPEAKER_07: Yeah, shout out the law firm, number 42.
- 57:20SPEAKER_07: Never seen a running back wear 42 and do it with so much style, man.
- 57:23SPEAKER_07: Shout out him.
- 57:24SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 57:25SPEAKER_00: What is the better catch of all time?
- 57:28SPEAKER_00: San Antonio Holmes, touchdown, Super Bowl.
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: Yep.
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: Or David Tyree helmet catch.
- 57:35SPEAKER_07: I'm a Jersey boy.
- 57:36SPEAKER_07: He's from my hometown.
- 57:37SPEAKER_07: You know I gotta say David Tyree, man.
- 57:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: Damn.
- 57:41SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 57:42SPEAKER_05: Yeah, fuck the Steelers, man.
- 57:43SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 57:44SPEAKER_05: Yeah, right.
- 57:45SPEAKER_05: The right answer.
- 57:46SPEAKER_05: The right answer.
- 57:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 57:48SPEAKER_07: David Tyree, man.
- 57:49SPEAKER_07: That little homie catch.
- 57:50SPEAKER_07: First of all, that was insane.
- 57:51SPEAKER_07: It was.
- 57:51SPEAKER_07: That was insane.
- 57:52SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 57:52SPEAKER_07: That was that was nuts.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 57:54SPEAKER_00: What's the greater comeback?
- 57:57SPEAKER_00: Patriots 28 to 3 in the Super Bowl or Kansas City 13 seconds.
- 58:01SPEAKER_00: Buffalo.
- 58:02SPEAKER_03: Huh.
- 58:03SPEAKER_03: Huh.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: Damn.
- 58:06SPEAKER_05: Wow.
- 58:07SPEAKER_05: Oh man.
- 58:08SPEAKER_05: I mean, to do what they did in the Super Bowl is really impressive.
- 58:12SPEAKER_02: Uh but I mean, you that 13 seconds shit was crazy.
- 58:17SPEAKER_02: And it was cool to be a part of it.
- 58:18SPEAKER_02: So I'm gonna go with the 13 seconds.
- 58:20SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 58:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 58:20SPEAKER_07: I gotta go with the Tom Brady man, Mr.
- 58:23SPEAKER_07: I feel you though.
- 58:23SPEAKER_07: Man, Tom Brady, man, you know he that's crazy.
- 58:26SPEAKER_07: They they still talk about that to this day, 28.3.
- 58:28SPEAKER_07: And they will, yeah, forever.
- 58:29SPEAKER_07: We're gonna talk about it forever.
- 58:30SPEAKER_07: Forever, man.
- 58:31SPEAKER_07: It's so first of all, it's so cool to see Tom Brady, right?
- 58:34SPEAKER_07: Yeah, the GOAT.
- 58:36SPEAKER_07: Yeah, accomplish everything he's accomplished in FL and still want to give back to the game in such a big way, yeah, and be a part of like broadcast and stuff like that.
- 58:43SPEAKER_07: Because he doesn't have to.
- 58:44SPEAKER_07: Yep, he really doesn't have to, but it's it's so cool, man.
- 58:46SPEAKER_07: It's just so cool saying, yeah, yeah.
- 58:48SPEAKER_05: I I I feel like, yeah, I mean, bro, just I mean, you know, how I love I love great players in the game of football.
- 58:56SPEAKER_05: So I got a different type of appreciation for Tom Brady, yeah, man.
- 58:59SPEAKER_05: Uh and what he what he's given to the game, even still to this day.
- 59:03SPEAKER_05: Uh I get a lot of my motivation from him, just in terms of like his mental approach.
- 59:08SPEAKER_05: I remember uh coming out of college, uh, he had just released on Facebook uh Tom versus Tom.
- 59:14SPEAKER_05: I don't know if you had a chance to ever see that.
- 59:16SPEAKER_05: It was on Facebook Watch.
- 59:17SPEAKER_05: Like, yeah, this is like how much of a nerd I am about this football shit.
- 59:21SPEAKER_05: So, yeah, so I I watched Tom versus Tom, however many episodes that was.
- 59:25SPEAKER_05: And um, to me, it was so insightful, bro, because as somebody that's really living it, yeah, like obviously my dad played, and you know, at that point, he had, you know, had already passed for you know seven years or or whatever it was at that time.
- 59:40SPEAKER_05: Um, it was interesting to be able to see him go on vacation with his family and still find time to grind.
- 59:47SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 59:48SPEAKER_05: It was it was a little bit more eye-opening for me in the fact of like like Tom Brady isn't Tom Brady just because he what he does on Sundays, it's the it's the work that he puts in all the time.
- 59:57SPEAKER_05: You know what I mean?
- 59:58SPEAKER_05: This guy's on vacation with his family in Brazil or whatever the fuck they had, and he's still figuring out time to go throw, yeah, go work out, go exercise.
- 1:00:07SPEAKER_05: And you know, to to me that was very like it was eye-opening, you know what I mean, just in terms of his his greatness, like what he's willing to sacrifice to be able to continue to accomplish what he has.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_07: Like he really, he's really really lives this shit, like through and through.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_05: He and he really lives it, like he's willing to sacrifice whatever.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_07: And I think the the part of that people forget, obviously, we know the story of where Tom Brady was picked and all that stuff, yeah.
- 1:00:30SPEAKER_07: But I think the part people don't realize is at no point, yeah, can we look at it and say Tom Brady was the most talented quarterback in the national football league, right?
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_07: Aaron Rodgers to me is probably one of the best pure quarterbacks I've seen.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_07: Matthew Stafford up there as well.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_07: But Tom Brady, he realized I might not have the biggest arm, yeah, I might not be the most athletic, I'm certainly not the fastest.
- 1:00:52SPEAKER_07: Yeah, but I'll tell you where I am gonna win.
- 1:00:54SPEAKER_07: I'm gonna know every little thing that that defense is going to do.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I am going to trust my check downs, my outlets.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_07: Um right, because I like every passing play should have an outlet where the quarterback sort of has a safety net to go to.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_07: Yeah, Tom Brady knew what defenses were doing better than what the defenders knew the defense was trying to do.
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and that was a superpower, bro.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_05: I like I I remember because I when I came in the league in 18, it was towards the end of his career, and I caught him in New England, I caught him in Tampa.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_05: Uh I I remember there was times where he would be telling the running back where to go.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_05: Like, and and when the when you're running your entire offense through him, yeah, like bro.
- 1:01:37SPEAKER_05: I mean, he that's it just broke we could sit here and talk about four hours, bro.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_07: Bro, I'm so much respectful.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_07: I'm so blessed, yeah.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_07: Um, to have been able to see this.
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_07: Uh I uh Daniel and I got a chance to see Tom versus Joe.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_07: Yeah, the only time they went head to head.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_07: Tom versus Joe in Tampa.
- 1:01:55SPEAKER_05: Oh, yeah, that was a great game.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_07: I we were there live, man.
- 1:01:58SPEAKER_07: And it was such a blessing.
- 1:02:00SPEAKER_07: First of all, I my first time ever seeing Tom Brady play live.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_07: And just seeing, first of all, both of them and how they yeah, they had such an understanding of you know, of what the defense was trying to do, man.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_07: It was just so it was so beautiful watching that, man.
- 1:02:15SPEAKER_07: And so, like, shout out both of them.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_07: That was such a great game to have gone to.
- 1:02:18SPEAKER_07: And I can honestly say, you know, I think where if I think what what Joe is going to become in this league and what Tom Brady already is, obviously the GOAT, man, it was just special to to be able to witness that, man.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_07: 10 year capsule, right?
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_07: You know, growing up, probably did the time capsule.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_07: I did, right?
- 1:02:34SPEAKER_07: Yep.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_07: What does 10 years look like down the road for OB?
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_07: What does like I mean, I'm talking about professionally, yeah.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_07: Personally, what does if you could set it up perfectly, what would 10 years look like down the road for you?
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_05: Yeah, like man, I'll I'll still be here in Cincinnati playing for the Bengals.
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_07: Yes, sir, yes, sir.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_05: I'll still be playing left tackle for the Bengals.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_05: Joe will be turning 40 as well in December.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_05: I think his birthday is in December.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_05: And uh we'll be in uh fighting for playoff contention.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_05: I love that.
- 1:03:07SPEAKER_05: That is like my tenure capsule.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_05: You know, I I always envision playing a game for football as long as I can.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_05: And uh playing until I'm 40 has always been a goal that I set for myself.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_05: So uh at 30 years old today, um, and I guess it would be 2036.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_05: That to me would be ideal.
- 1:03:28SPEAKER_05: That's my perfect situation.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_07: I love that.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_07: How many banners in an ideal situation do you already have?
- 1:03:34SPEAKER_05: Um wow, at least three.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_05: At least three.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_05: Like I I've I've been fortunate to obviously win a Super Bowl in Kansas City, and that was really special.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_05: And uh, you know, that that meant so much so much to me to be able to do it, man, for the city and and my teammates and that organization at the time.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_05: Uh but the significance it would it would mean to me that to win one here uh for the people here in this city, man.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_05: First ever.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_05: You know, I mean, like for the Brown family and the Blackburn family, like that would mean that would mean so much to me, you know, to be able to bring that to bring that type of joy uh, you know, here, man, and just uh all the time spent with our staff and and the families here, it just it means it means a lot.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_05: It would mean it would mean so much to me.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_05: I love that, man.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_05: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_05: I love that.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_05: Sorry to get so sentimental.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_05: Nah, man, that's great.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_05: I love it.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_05: I love that.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_05: I love it.
- 1:04:28SPEAKER_05: I love that.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_05: What about you?
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_05: What's your 10 years?
- 1:04:30SPEAKER_07: I would say 10 years, man.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_07: Uh I'm gonna get a little sentimental too.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_07: I I sent the email years back, years and years ago.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_07: Yeah, and uh, I'll tell you who I sent it to after after we record, but uh still with the Bengals.
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_07: And uh I sent them and I said, hey, I'm a leak, right?
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_07: My goal here is to move to Cincinnati by X year, right?
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_07: And I want to change the way media uh covers the Cincinnati.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I want to change the narrative, I want to be a part of the narrative, I want to bring a different style of media to Cincinnati, and so I had a goal in mind.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_07: I Daniel knows the goal.
- 1:05:09SPEAKER_07: I said, I want to move to Cincinnati before I turn 27.
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_07: Like that's my goal, right?
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I moved to Cincinnati two weeks before I turned 27.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_07: Oh wow, and I said, Hey, I wanted to do shows, I wanted to interview players, I wanted to help be a part of this new wave media for the Cincinnati.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_07: Because I felt like Cincinnati was such an untapped market.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_07: And sure enough, I was able to do that.
- 1:05:34SPEAKER_07: And so I think in a perfect, perfect world in the next 10 years, I would say uh Cincinnati obviously hopefully is you know has hoisted a couple Lombardi trophies, but more so the the way media is talked about, the way the Bengals are talked about, very similar, like to how they they they this the conversation shifted around Seattle or the Patriots.
- 1:05:51SPEAKER_07: I don't think people remember how the Patriots were viewed before they started doing all the winning, or Seattle before they started doing all the winning.
- 1:05:58SPEAKER_07: I believe Cincinnati has that same trajectory.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_07: And to be a part of that just from a media perspective and giving fans an inside look of the players, man, and the mentality that goes beyond this will be extremely huge.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_07: But also, I'll say this.
- 1:06:13SPEAKER_07: I think 10 years inside pocket, the biggest sports podcast out there, man.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_07: Oh my gosh.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_07: Biggest sports podcast out there.
- 1:06:19SPEAKER_07: That's my 10-year goal, man.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_07: That's that's what I want to see.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_05: Just me and you in robes on national television.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_05: Literally.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_05: Talking that shit.
- 1:06:27SPEAKER_07: Yeah, man.
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_07: Talking that shit.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_07: I love it.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_07: I love it.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_07: And giving people perspective.
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_07: That's what it's all about.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_07: That's that's my my 10-year goal, man.
- 1:06:36SPEAKER_07: So we'll see, man.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_07: Uh, before we get to our last topic, you guys could do us a huge favor, give this video a like, subscribe to the channel, and turn on post notifications so you guys don't miss when we upload new episodes of Inside the Pocket.
- 1:06:49SPEAKER_07: So, you know, like we do each and every single week, we gotta get to our peak and pit of the week.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_07: So start us off, Obi.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_07: What was your peak and your pit?
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_05: Uh I'm gonna say my peak being um obviously winning in Miami.
- 1:07:03SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that was it's funny because my life truly revolves around football.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_05: But I'm gonna say my peak being winning in Miami, bro.
- 1:07:12SPEAKER_05: That was that was that was a much needed win.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_05: Um and it felt good to go out there and and to be able to do enough to accomplish that.
- 1:07:20SPEAKER_05: You know, I I think that was that was a good feeling for us as a team, and uh the good thing is though, we still got a lot of room to grow, which is always a good sign, even when you're still able to win football games.
- 1:07:32SPEAKER_05: But uh it was a good feeling to come out of there with a win.
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_05: Uh my pit, um, I went to start my Chevelle.
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_05: I think it was maybe Thursday morning.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_05: I went to start my Chevelle and it wouldn't start, bro.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_05: That shit was I don't know.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_05: I don't know what's I don't know if my starters messed up, I don't know what the deal is, but um that was uh that was my pit.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_05: Yeah, shit made me sad.
- 1:07:53SPEAKER_05: Oh man, yeah.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_07: I would say my peak had to be getting back in the gym, man.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_07: I held myself to it, man.
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_07: I've been on my journey.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_07: I'm I've been grinding, man.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_07: And so I'm very, very proud of myself for staying consistent and staying committed to it.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_07: Got a got on the stairmaster, it whooped my behind.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_07: Damn.
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_07: But we we we persevered.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_05: How do you do you do intervals or you're just going quick start?
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_05: I'm going quick start.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_07: I'm going uh level seven.
- 1:08:22SPEAKER_07: I do level seven.
- 1:08:23SPEAKER_07: Oh, level seven.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_07: Level seven.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_07: Oh shit.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_07: Right.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_07: Okay.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_07: Uh, and then I try to I try to be off for like 20 minutes, 25 minutes, 20 minutes.
- 1:08:31unknown: Yeah, right.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_07: Then it's tough.
- 1:08:32SPEAKER_05: That shit is hard.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_05: Yeah, that shit is hard.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_05: Yeah, man.
- 1:08:34SPEAKER_05: It's yeah, share a story with you.
- 1:08:36SPEAKER_05: In in college for us, the stairmaster was our punishment.
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_05: So if you were late to a workout, if you were late to class, if you didn't make weight, if you were overweight by a pound, you would have to ride the stairmaster until your pound came off.
- 1:08:52SPEAKER_05: If you were, I swear, yeah, Jerry Schmidt didn't play no game.
- 1:08:56SPEAKER_05: So, um, and we weren't able to cheat either.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_05: We would have to restart if he caught you with one foot on there, and we would have to go minimum of 30 minutes.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_07: Oh my god, yeah, I've done that before.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_05: Yep, and it would be level 12.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_07: Oh no, see, Jerry, no, I wouldn't I wouldn't be able to do that, bro.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_07: Yeah, I would I listen and I and I'm serious about the stairmaster.
- 1:09:15SPEAKER_07: Yeah, Daniel can't even do the stairmaster, yes.
- 1:09:17SPEAKER_07: And I like, yeah, and you know, Daniel was in much better shape than me, like yeah, like through and through it, through and through.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_07: He used to make fun of me, but you know, we getting older now, and you know, I hit 31 this year, yeah.
- 1:09:27SPEAKER_07: You know, he's still what 25 or 24 or something like that.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_07: So he's like, Oh, yeah, I'm still like, okay, we're gonna see, we're gonna see, we're gonna see.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_07: Uh that unk bod coming in.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_07: But uh uh but now the unc the unk bod coming in now.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_07: Um but uh yeah, I I would say my my my peak, my my that was my peak getting back on the uh getting back in the gym, grinding my pit of the week.
- 1:09:52SPEAKER_07: I was driving down the highway.
- 1:09:53SPEAKER_07: Okay, and uh my bed truck, the my bed cover to my truck, yeah, flew off.
- 1:10:01SPEAKER_07: Damn, flew off.
- 1:10:02SPEAKER_07: Very disappointing stuff.
- 1:10:03SPEAKER_07: Very disappointing.
- 1:10:05SPEAKER_02: I'm sorry to laugh, but that's a tough L, bro.
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_07: No, it is those things are expensive.
- 1:10:08SPEAKER_07: They are, yeah, they are, and I I was sitting back and I I literally all I could do was just look in it in the rearview mirror, pray it didn't hit anybody, and it didn't hit anybody.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_07: That's good, and I was just like, okay, well, that happened.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_07: How can we you know rebound?
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_07: How can we bounce back?
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_07: Can't get any worse than that.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_07: Damn, and you know what's crazy before that, yeah.
- 1:10:26SPEAKER_07: The pit of the week was Alabama losing to Georgia, yeah.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_07: That that was that was literally it.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_02: So you losing your your co your your yeah, that's I'm sorry to hear that.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_07: Yeah, it's rough right now, but you know, we persevere.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_07: We'll be uh we'll be we'll be okay, we'll be okay.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_07: Damn, but it's all good, man.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_07: Listen, the bye week is here, yes it is.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_07: Bengals are three and two, yeah, Orlandito is in full effect, and man, we got uh Millie is uh Millie chilling with us.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_05: Yeah, Millie's Millie's really kicking it.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_05: They can't see Mowgli over here.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_05: Mowgli's been knocked out the whole episode.
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_07: That's that's the that the these are the new co-hosts, yeah.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_07: These are the new co-hosts, man.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_07: But uh man, this was episode five.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_07: Five inside the pocket.
