- 0:00Speaker 1: Today. I want to remind people start appreciating where you
- 0:08Speaker 1: are today. So many people lose the value of where
- 0:14Speaker 1: they are today with the over concern of where they're
- 0:18Speaker 1: trying to be tomorrow. So many people lose the joy
- 0:24Speaker 1: of what's going on today being overly concerned with what
- 0:29Speaker 1: happened yesterday. Those two things, your past and your future,
- 0:35Speaker 1: you have no control over. Your past is over and
- 0:39Speaker 1: done and the future is yet to come. You have
- 0:43Speaker 1: got to start living in today and appreciating who you
- 0:48Speaker 1: are and where you are today because today was given
- 0:52Speaker 1: to you as a present. It was a present from God.
- 0:55Speaker 1: That's why they call it the present, because that's what
- 0:58Speaker 1: it is. It's a present. Man. You've got to be
- 1:01Speaker 1: appreciative of what you have and where you are today.
- 1:05Speaker 1: If you don't, you will suffer from anxiety. Anxiety is
- 1:10Speaker 1: to concern over things you cannot control, and those two
- 1:15Speaker 1: things that you cannot control are usually your past and
- 1:18Speaker 1: your future. If you stop that, you can reduce the
- 1:24Speaker 1: anxiety in your life. Do you know how many times
- 1:28Speaker 1: I have been concerned about something that was supposed to
- 1:31Speaker 1: happen tomorrow, something I wanted to happen tomorrow, something I
- 1:34Speaker 1: expected to happen tomorrow. And then tomorrow got here and
- 1:37Speaker 1: it didn't go like that at all at all, And
- 1:42Speaker 1: all that worry I had put into it on the
- 1:45Speaker 1: day before ruin my current day, worring and concerning myself
- 1:50Speaker 1: with something I had no control over. Now that tomorrow
- 1:54Speaker 1: is here and it has become the day, and now
- 1:57Speaker 1: because it's not going the way I will wanted it to,
- 2:01Speaker 1: expected it to, or thought it should go, now I'd
- 2:04Speaker 1: have messed that day up dwelling on the fact that
- 2:08Speaker 1: it ain't going the way I wanted to go. Do
- 2:12Speaker 1: you know how many people live like this in constant
- 2:16Speaker 1: state of anxiety and confusion? Listen to me. That is
- 2:22Speaker 1: how effective the Lord's prayer is. Give us this day
- 2:28Speaker 1: our daily bread. That means we're asking God to provide
- 2:33Speaker 1: us with what we need to get us through this day.
- 2:38Speaker 1: We as human beings, are only designed to live in
- 2:41Speaker 1: twenty four hour increments. We are designed by God to
- 2:46Speaker 1: live in the moment today. Now that's not to say
- 2:49Speaker 1: that you don't have goals, aspirations, dreams, hopes and all
- 2:53Speaker 1: of that, because the Bible also says write the vision
- 2:56Speaker 1: and make it plain. There are things you want, There
- 2:58Speaker 1: are things you're going to partidi God for in prayer,
- 3:01Speaker 1: and that's perfectly fine. But once you do that, you
- 3:05Speaker 1: got to get right on back to living in today.
- 3:08Speaker 1: And today is enough if you handle today the way
- 3:11Speaker 1: you're supposed to, it's plenty. As a matter of fact,
- 3:14Speaker 1: it's gonna be so much to do today that you're
- 3:16Speaker 1: gonna need to go to bed. Hea done, broke a
- 3:19Speaker 1: day up in today at night part so you can
- 3:21Speaker 1: at least get some break from the eight hours in
- 3:23Speaker 1: the sixteen hours you put in today. Concern yourself with today.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Be grateful for today because today is a gift to you.
- 3:31Speaker 1: That's why they call it the present. Think about that, y'all.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Have a great day. Talk to God today. Would absolutely
- 3:39Speaker 1: love to hear from you, y'all. Stay in peace. In
- 3:42Speaker 1: the meantime, I'm finna go live, miss day. Thanks for all.
