  Speaker 1: gifts lies in their source, purpose and eternal value. We

  Speaker 1: believe it or not, either for the gifts of God

  Speaker 1: that God has given us or for the worldly gifts

  Speaker 1: that we just have and we're using for our own

  Speaker 1: gain personal gain. First Peter Chapter four versus ten and

  Speaker 1: whether or not you have enough faith. God is good,

  Speaker 1: He's sovereign in control. He does what's necessary. Amen. In

  Speaker 1: our lives. He knows the outcome, and we give them

  Speaker 1: a special gift, a spiritual talent and ability, graciously given

  Speaker 1: by God, employ it and serving one another as is

  Speaker 1: appropriate for good stewards of God's multi faceted grace, faithfully

  Speaker 1: using the diverse varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians

  Speaker 1: by God's unmerited favor. Whoever speaks to the congregation is

  Speaker 1: to do so as one who speaks the oracles, utterances

  Speaker 1: the very words of God. Whoever serves the congregation is
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: to do so as one who serves by the strength
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: which God abundantly supplies, so that in all things God
• 10:29
  Speaker 1: may be glorified, honored, and magnified through Jesus Christ, to
• 10:35
  Speaker 1: whom belongs to the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

  Speaker 1: So it seems like Peter was going for it man

  Speaker 1: and said, listen, we all have these gifts, but this

  Speaker 1: is how we should use it. Remember who gave you

  Speaker 1: a gift. And then at the end of these verses,

  Speaker 1: it seems like he turns it into a prayer. He's

  Speaker 1: one thing. People to know, Amen, what those gifts are for,

  Speaker 1: and how we can use it powerfully and impact the world,

  Speaker 1: impact their community, impact their family, impact their neighborhood, impact
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: their city, right, impact the nations. But where to put
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: it at? Faithfully using the diverse varied gifts and abilities
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: granted to Christians by God's grace. Whoever speaks to the congregation,
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: the preacher, the pastor, the apostle, the evangelists, the prophet,
• 11:32
  Speaker 1: the teacher, whoever speaks to the congregation, and to do
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: so as one who speaks the oracles, the very words
• 11:41
  Speaker 1: of God. What a responsibility, what a privilege, what an
• 11:44
  Speaker 1: honor right? And those who serve the congregation is to
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: do so as one who serves by the strength which
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: who gave, who gave was given by God abundantly that
• 11:59
  Speaker 1: strength was give given to us by God abundantly, so
• 12:02
  Speaker 1: that in all things repeat that all things, all things,
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: to glory and dominion forever and ever. So this is
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: an eternal word, a man, eternal perspective, eternal impact, right

  Speaker 1: that we have when we do this and use the
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: gifts that God gave us the correct way, the godly way,

  Speaker 1: Amen to godly guests. But here's the difference, and I'm

  Speaker 1: difference between golegists and worldly giests. Because there's a lot

  Speaker 1: of gifts out there, man, talent gifts. We see it

  Speaker 1: all the time. It's it's amazing how much potential we

  Speaker 1: have right as believers in Christ. Let's let me get

  Speaker 1: The difference between godly gifts and worldly gifts. Right, it lies,

  Speaker 1: like I said earlier in the beginning, in the source,

  Speaker 1: the purpose and eternal value. Some people are looking at

  Speaker 1: their gifts and saying, my gift doesn't matter. Yes it does.

  Speaker 1: God has specifically given you a gift, a talent. Amen,

  Speaker 1: for you to use for His glory, for you to
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: use for His kingdom, for you to use to impact
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: someone's life for eternity. No pressure, Amen, because this is
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: God's gift that was given into each individual, one of
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: his children. Amen. The source first of all of this
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: godly gift that we have is from God. We saw
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: that plainly in One Peter chapter four, verses ten eleven.

  Speaker 1: And how are we given this gift from God through
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, God empowers us,

  Speaker 1: enables us, gives us the ability to do what's necessary

  Speaker 1: according to His will and purpose by way of his
• 14:12
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. Don't believe me right? You could reference James
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: chapter one, verse number seventeen. James Chapter one, verse seventeen. Amen.

  Speaker 1: Also we see in First Corinthians chapter twelve, verses four

  Speaker 1: through eleven, our gifts come from God by way of

  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit. Remember that, Amen. So that way, when you

  Speaker 1: are approached and people are looking at your gift and
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: they want that gift to serve their purposes for the world,
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: think about where your source is, who gave you the
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: gift in the first place, and why you should be

  Speaker 1: active for the Kingdom purposes and not using that same
• 15:02
  Speaker 1: gift and be active for the worldly situations. Think about it.

  Speaker 1: What's the purpose? Now that you know who gave you
• 15:12
  Speaker 1: the gift, Now what's the purpose of that gift? The
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: purpose is to glorify God. And people are gonna be like, ah, Man,
• 15:18
  Speaker 1: that sounds so lame and sounds so plain. What glorifying God?

  Speaker 1: You think that's plain, You think that's lame, you think
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: that's outdated, you think that's not relevant. No more. Well,

  Speaker 1: go ahead and use your gift and glorify God and
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: see what happens in your life. Amen, Because after all,

  Speaker 1: we have this gift, this abundant blessing from the Lord,

  Speaker 1: given to us by grace, the grace of God. It's his.

  Speaker 1: But he decided a man. Think about it. You should

  Speaker 1: be humbled. I'm humbled. He decided to use the gift
• 15:51
  Speaker 1: that He has given to you and use you and
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: use me to go ahead and spread that gift for

  Speaker 1: the Kingdom of God. When you speak and you're preaching

  Speaker 1: the word of God, you're speaking the very words of God.

  Speaker 1: Scripture says it. We read it first Peter chapter number four,

  Speaker 1: verses ten and eleven. So I'll give you example spiritual gifts.

  Speaker 1: Spiritual gifts like wisdom, Faith is a gift. People think

  Speaker 1: faith is something that you know, it's outside of a gift. No,

  Speaker 1: faith is a gift. Faith, healing, Lay hands on the

  Speaker 1: sick and they shall recover. Prophecy, go ahead and prophesy,

  Speaker 1: go ahead and let God speak through you the prophecies
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: of God. Right. Teaching, that's a gift not everybody could teach.

  Speaker 1: And discernment people are like, oh, we're born with discernment.

  Speaker 1: It's called intuition. It's called this, that and the third.

  Speaker 1: But I'm calling what the word calls discernment discernment. Amen.

  Speaker 1: There's a whole bunch of scriptures here, but for the

  Speaker 1: have spiritual gifts, we have wisdom of God, we have

  Speaker 1: the faith of God in God healing. Amen. God still heals,

  Speaker 1: he still delivers, he still saves, he still performs miracles.

  Speaker 1: Signs and wonders. The same God of yesterday is the

  Speaker 1: same God of today, and the same God for Forevermore

  Speaker 1: people think the Old Covenant God and the New Covenant God,

  Speaker 1: two different gods, same God. Right, we have the history, Amen,

  Speaker 1: the prophecy in the Old Covenant, the history and the

  Speaker 1: Old Covenant. Then Jesus shows up, Amen, God incarnate the

  Speaker 1: God Man. Amen. And then the prophecies are fulfilled. Right.

  Speaker 1: And he goes ahead and moves under earthly ministry, humbling

  Speaker 1: himself to become a form of a man, a man

  Speaker 1: performing science Mira. Because wonders lived a perfect sinless life,

  Speaker 1: not a sinless a sinless life, perfect in all his ways,

  Speaker 1: a man perfect in all his ways. Yes, that is special.

  Speaker 1: a worship leader, singer. You might be a teacher, preacher, apostle,

  Speaker 1: an evangelist, prophet, a man. You might be a servant

  Speaker 1: of the life or most high by way of just
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: serving the community, whether it's cleaning, whether it is inspiring,
• 19:08
  Speaker 1: whether it's sharing in a food bank, whether it's serving
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: in ministry, whatever the situation is, wherever you are there,
• 19:18
  Speaker 1: it is a man, the gift of God showing and
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: shining through you. Right, we don't take We don't take
• 19:24
  Speaker 1: nothing for granted, at least I don't. Amen. Thank you

  Speaker 1: for sharing the scriptures on the screen. Perfect. What we're

  Speaker 1: doing is we're realizing that this gift, this talent right

  Speaker 1: that we have is not given to us by the world,

  Speaker 1: definitely not given to us by the enemy, definitely not

  Speaker 1: for our own purpose and for our personal gain alone. Amen,

  Speaker 1: is to spread the word of God, his message, his power,

  Speaker 1: his authority, his love, his grace, his mercy throughout. Like

  Speaker 1: if we can, can you be used as heavenly and

  Speaker 1: tenors and tenants for heaven. Amen? Right, getting a signal

  Speaker 1: from the Father a man by way of Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: This is amazing salvation grace, mercy, eternal life. Are you

  Speaker 1: kidding me? Those are all gifts? People will be thinking like

  Speaker 1: God deserves, I deserve what God gave me or God

  Speaker 1: owed me this. God doesn't owe us anything. But because

  Speaker 1: God is love, he gives us choice, right, he gives

  Speaker 1: us free will. But God is love and God is love. Amen.

  Speaker 1: And he offers us eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ,

  Speaker 1: through his sacrifice, through what he did on the cross

  Speaker 1: a man grants his mercy. He's holding God is literally

  Speaker 1: holding back what we all deserve, and he's given us
• 20:50
  Speaker 1: what we don't deserve. It's holding back what we do

  Speaker 1: deserve mercy, and the grace is giving us what we
• 20:56
  Speaker 1: don't deserve. Come on, Salvation, grace, mercy, eternal life. Ephesians,

  Speaker 1: chapter number two, Verses eight and nine. Ephesians, Chapter number two,

  Speaker 1: Verses eight and nine. So that's the gifts from God. Amen.

  Speaker 1: We need to use what God has given us. Every

  Speaker 1: single person in the body of Christ has something to offer. Amen.

  Speaker 1: gifts unto the Lord first and then unto others, we

  Speaker 1: are an unstoppable family of God. We are unstoppable organism.

  Speaker 1: Of God. We are unstoppable congregation for God, in God,

  Speaker 1: in Christ, Amen, unstoppable. The enemy hates when the brothers

  Speaker 1: and sisters in Christ get together unified, not uniform. Not

  Speaker 1: everybody has to be the same, but unity through Christ,

  Speaker 1: empowered by Holy Spirit, is an unstoppable situation, and the

  Speaker 1: enemy runs. He hates when we get together. He hates

  Speaker 1: when we forgive one another. He hates when we gather

  Speaker 1: our gifts. Whether or not your mind denomination or another denomination,

  Speaker 1: whether or not you're across the street from our church
