- 0:06Peter. Peter.
- 0:08Jesus, did you Call My Name? Yes, I wanted to thank you for
- 0:12letting me use your boat to preach to all those people.
- 0:15You know, being out on the water makes it easier for people to
- 0:17hear me, especially since the microphone hasn't been invented
- 0:21yet. The mic go what?
- 0:23Never mind. I know you must be tired from
- 0:26having fished all night, and yet you were still willing to help
- 0:29me. Thank you.
- 0:31You're welcome. I'm glad to do.
- 0:33Hey, how did you know I was fishing all night?
- 0:36You didn't catch anything though.
- 0:37I usually catch a lot at night. That's the best time to Hey, how
- 0:42did you know I didn't catch anything?
- 0:44Peter, take your boat out now and let down your net.
- 0:48James John. What's up, boss?
- 0:52Get the boat. Ready to go out again?
- 0:54Is Jesus going to preach again already?
- 0:56Jesus isn't preaching again. We're going fishing.
- 0:59You're kidding, aren't you, boss?
- 1:01Please say you're kidding. I'm not kidding.
- 1:04Peter, what's the matter with you?
- 1:05It's the middle of the day. The fish aren't biting right
- 1:08now, you know that. Yeah, it's too hot.
- 1:11We never fish at this time of day.
- 1:13I know, but Jesus said. Jesus, he's a Carpenter.
- 1:17What does he know about fishing? We've been fishing all of our
- 1:21lives. Everybody knows you can't catch
- 1:23any fish in the middle of the day, Peter.
- 1:25We didn't even catch any fish last night, remember?
- 1:29I remember. There is no way we will catch
- 1:31anything right now. I'm not going.
- 1:33If we go out there right now, we'll be the laughingstock of
- 1:36the whole town. I'm not going either.
- 1:39James John Who's the boss? You are, Sir.
- 1:44That's right, I said we're going fishing because Jesus said take
- 1:47the boat out and let down the net.
- 1:50Faith comes by hearing God's word.
- 1:52Now raise the sail and let's get going.
- 1:55Whatever you say. You got it, boss.
- 2:01Hey James, who is that over there on the shore laughing at
- 2:04us? You mean who isn't on the shore
- 2:06over there laughing at us? The whole town is watching.
- 2:10Let down the Nets. I don't believe it.
- 2:15Look at all these fish. Wow.
- 2:17This is a big catch. This is a big miracle.
- 2:22We're going to need some help from Zach and his crew.
- 2:24Oh, that does it. Peter coming out here was a good
- 2:27idea, but if you think I'm going to give up half of these fish so
- 2:31that we can have a little help from Zach, you're really crazy.
- 2:35Excuse me guys, but we're standing in a puddle of water.
- 2:39I think this big match is causing our boat to sink, hey?
- 2:44Zach, we need help quick. That does it.
- 2:54I'm out of here. Where are you going, Zeke?
- 2:57I'm tired of hearing about Jesus healing people all the time.
- 3:01I'm going to find him, Jake. You can't leave Zeke.
- 3:04You're you're a leper. If you get caught, they'll stone
- 3:07you to death. If I stay, the leprosy will kill
- 3:10me. It's just a matter of time
- 3:12before they discover a cure. Why don't you just wait with the
- 3:16rest of us? You can stay and wait, Jake.
- 3:19Maybe, just maybe, before you die from leprosy, they'll find a
- 3:23cure. As for me, I'm taking my
- 3:25chances. I have a wife and kids just
- 3:27waiting for me at home. You never told me you had a wife
- 3:30and kids. Well, I don't like to talk about
- 3:34my personal life. I haven't seen my family in
- 3:37years. I probably wouldn't even
- 3:39recognize my son. He for sure wouldn't recognize
- 3:42me. I don't want to live this way
- 3:45anymore. I'm willing to risk my life to
- 3:47be healed. Zeke, what if Jesus won't heal
- 3:51you? What?
- 3:53Well. Maybe God wants you to be a
- 3:55leopard. Maybe there's something here he
- 3:57wants you to do. I can't think of what it might
- 4:00be, but maybe he wants you here. Jake, there's no leprosy in
- 4:05heaven, is there? No way.
- 4:08Everything in heaven is good. And I'm going to take a chance
- 4:12that God's will is the same on earth as it is in heaven.
- 4:16That makes sense to me. Do you want to come?
- 4:20You go ahead. Well then, this is goodbye.
- 4:26It's time for football practice, Jake.
- 4:29Hey, where's Zeke going? He's going to go find Jesus.
- 4:33He wants to get healed. Who does he think he is, The
- 4:36lone leper? We all want to get healed.
- 4:40He's going to get killed. I think he'll make it.
- 4:45Come on, Jake. Jesus always has a crowd around
- 4:49him. How is he going to get by all
- 4:51those people without being caught?
- 4:54They'll stone him for sure. Besides, even if he does make it
- 4:58to Jesus, what makes him think Jesus will want to heal him?
- 5:02Ike, do you think there's leprosy in heaven?
- 5:06No way, everything is good in heaven.
- 5:10Don't you think God's will on earth is the same as in heaven?
- 5:13Well, I never thought about it before.
- 5:17Yeah, I guess God's will would be the same on earth as it is in
- 5:21heaven. So do I I think Jesus is here to
- 5:25enforce God's will on the earth. Zeke's going to make it, Ike.
- 5:29He'll get healed. Well, if that's what you think,
- 5:32why didn't you go with them? Guess I don't want it bad
- 5:35enough. Yeah, well, they might find a
- 5:38cure. In the meantime, what are we
- 5:41going to do about our football team?
- 5:43Now we're down to only 10 players.
- 5:46Well, lucky here Zeke is coming back.
- 5:50I knew it was a bad idea. Is he?
- 5:53Smiling, yeah. That's weird.
- 5:57He looks different. Yeah, he looks healed.
- 6:03Zeke, did you see Jesus? I not only saw him, he touched
- 6:09me. And now I'm healed.
- 6:11You should go see him, Jake. You 2 Ike.
- 6:13Let's go, Ike. Let's take the whole team.
- 6:17Well, not the whole team. Zeke's already healed.
- 6:24So far, so good. What am I doing?
- 6:27I'm bleeding. If I get caught out in public
- 6:29like this, I'll be killed for breaking the law.
- 6:32Jesus is my only hope. If I can just get to him, touch
- 6:37him. Oh, somebody might see me.
- 6:39It's no use. Oh, I'll crawl down on the
- 6:43ground. No one will recognize me down
- 6:46here. I'll just touch the bottom edge
- 6:49of Jesus's robe. If I can just do that, I'll be
- 6:53healed. Here comes a crowd of people.
- 6:56This is my chance. I appreciate you coming to my.
- 7:01Home, Master Jesus. I would have brought my daughter
- 7:04to you, but she is almost dead. I understand.
- 7:08I'm sorry that there are so many people around me.
- 7:11It's hard to walk anywhere. You know what we need?
- 7:14Wheels on our feet. Then we could roll wherever we
- 7:17wanted to go. What do you think about that,
- 7:19Jesus? Who touched me?
- 7:22What do you mean? Who touched you?
- 7:23There are people everywhere. How can they not touch you?
- 7:27I felt God's power flow through me.
- 7:29Someone was healed. I saw no one.
- 7:32Master, please, let's hurry. Wait a minute.
- 7:35How can someone get healed without you laying your hands on
- 7:38them? You mean people can just sneak
- 7:41up on you and get healed? It's their faith that makes them
- 7:44whole. I touched you, Sir.
- 7:46I have been bleeding for 12 years.
- 7:49I have spent all my money on doctors, and they have only made
- 7:53things worse. I knew that if I could just
- 7:56touch the edge of your robe, I would be healed.
- 8:00I crawled through the crowd so no one would recognize me.
- 8:04I only touched your robe, Sir. But instantly I was healed.
- 8:09I am no longer bleeding. I didn't mean to do anything
- 8:13wrong. If I was supposed to ask first,
- 8:16I'm sorry, I didn't know. Daughter, your faith has made
- 8:21you well. Go in peace.
- 8:25All this time I thought you had to heal them.
- 8:28God is the healer. Believers have been given health
- 8:32and healing by my father. I am here to show people His
- 8:35will. Master, I received news while
- 8:38you were speaking with a woman. My daughter is dead.
- 8:44I will not trouble you any longer.
- 8:46Don't be afraid, J Iris. Just have faith like that woman
- 8:50had. Come on.
- 9:01Master, I know you have to be a man who does great miracles.
- 9:05My daughter is very sick. If you will come and lay hands
- 9:09on her, I know she will be healed.
- 9:11What is your name? Jay.
- 9:13Iris. I will come with you, Jay, Iris
- 9:16lead the way. Excuse us, please.
- 9:19Coming through. Excuse us, Pardon me, excuse me,
- 9:25I'm we're trying to get through. Mr. Jay, Iris.
- 9:29I have bad. News your daughter.
- 9:32She's dead. There is.
- 9:34No need. To waste Jesus time.
- 9:38Gyrus, don't be afraid. Keep believing.
- 9:42Let's keep going. Master, they are already
- 9:55mourning my little girl's death. Remember Jiris, don't be afraid.
- 10:00Just have faith. You're too late, Jay.
- 10:03Iris, my granddaughter is dead. Mama, it will be OK.
- 10:09Jesus is here. It's too late for a doctor.
- 10:12Didn't you hear me, boy? She's dead.
- 10:16He's not a doctor, Mama. He's the healer I told you
- 10:19about. Healer or no healer, she's dead,
- 10:22Jay, Iris. And dead means dead.
- 10:26She's not dead, she's only asleep.
- 10:29Asleep. You think she's asleep?
- 10:32You just walked in here. How would you know?
- 10:35Jairus, where do you find this guy?
- 10:37I'm your brother. I wouldn't lie to you.
- 10:40Your daughter's dead. That's why we sent Bart to tell
- 10:43you. I don't know why you want to
- 10:45have this Jesus come in here in the first place, but you are too
- 10:49late. Ain't nothing you can do for her
- 10:51now, Bubba. You don't understand.
- 10:55This is Jesus. He prays for people and they get
- 10:58better. Remember the blind beggar that
- 11:01used to beg at the city gate? Jesus is the one that healed
- 11:04him. And there was a woman that had
- 11:07been sick for 12 years, and Jesus healed her on the way.
- 11:11Here your daughter is dead, Jay Arus.
- 11:14I still believe Jesus can heal her, even though things don't
- 11:17look so good. Jay, Iris, listen to your Mama.
- 11:22There is a big difference between being blind and dead.
- 11:28What Bubba is trying to tell you is there is no hope.
- 11:31It's over. Anybody that would come in here
- 11:35and say she's asleep when she is dead is crazy.
- 11:39Now would you please get him out of here and let's bury this girl
- 11:43and go on with our lives. Mama, let's give him a a chance.
- 11:47At least let him pray for her. Man, you.
- 11:50As crazy as he is, I wouldn't let that guy anywhere near her
- 11:53if she was my daughter. This whole town is going to make
- 11:56fun of you for the rest of your life.
- 11:58I mean, I can hear him now. He remember that crazy man Jay
- 12:01Iris brought over when his daughter died thinking he could
- 12:03raise her from the dead. Is that what you want to hear
- 12:05for the rest of your life? No.
- 12:08Bubbas, right son. Only God can raise people from
- 12:12the dead. This fellow ain't God.
- 12:15Now get him out of here before he ruins everything.
- 12:18No, you get out, All of you. Now hold on a minute.
- 12:25Who do you think you are, Buckle?
- 12:28Are you going to let him talk to us like that?
- 12:30You heard him, Mama. Get out.
- 12:33Fine, have it your way, but don't say I didn't try to warn
- 12:38you. Jay.
- 12:44Iris, your daughter is a cutie. She takes after her mother.
- 12:48Little girl arise. What happened, Jesus?
- 12:54Thank you. God is good and he loves to do
- 13:00good things for His children. He simply wants us to trust Him
- 13:04and believe that he will do what he already said He will do.
- 13:07If you receive bad news while you're standing in faith,
- 13:11remember what Jesus told Jay Iris.
- 13:14Don't be afraid, just have faith.
