- 0:26Speaker 1: It is time to believe your worries outside in life
- 0:31Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:34Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Thursday, December nineteenth,
- 0:41Speaker 1: twenty twenty four. Welcome inside the Treehouse. I have to
- 0:48Speaker 1: admit to you, Trey and Raj, that something has been
- 0:51Speaker 1: on my mind since yesterday's show, and that is the
- 0:57Speaker 1: only Fans model Lily Phillips, who we learned just yesterday
- 1:02Speaker 1: that after sleeping with one hundred and one men in
- 1:08Speaker 1: a single day back in October made her sometimes feel
- 1:13Speaker 1: robotic and saying it was so hard. I realized I
- 1:19Speaker 1: have more thoughts on this topic and I want to
- 1:22Speaker 1: share some of those with you.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Turns out while okay, no, this is just so this
- 1:36Speaker 2: is just so stupid.
- 1:39Speaker 1: These are the kind of things that keep me up
- 1:40Speaker 1: at night where it's like, oh no, I could have
- 1:42Speaker 1: said this, I could have said that.
- 1:43Speaker 2: So here I'm going to only fans.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Model Lily Phillips was left in tears after sleeping with
- 1:48Speaker 1: one hundred and one men in a single day, saying
- 1:51Speaker 1: it was so hard and robotic. But she's not done yet.
- 1:56Speaker 1: She wants to set a new world record in two
- 1:59Speaker 1: thousand twenty five by sleeping with a thousand men in
- 2:03Speaker 1: a day. So while it turns out that taking one
- 2:07Speaker 1: hundred and one can fill every hole in your body,
- 2:12Speaker 1: they can't fill the void in your soul.
- 2:18Speaker 3: And the words of Hoktua girl, what's good for the
- 2:21Speaker 3: hole isn't always good for the soul. Who knew we'd
- 2:27Speaker 3: be able to reuse that gym?
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm glad we did. That's the that's the gym
- 2:34Speaker 1: that keeps on giving right there. Oh God, I just
- 2:39Speaker 1: it really is has actually had the more I thought
- 2:41Speaker 1: about this, because we initially talked about it, and you know,
- 2:44Speaker 1: it's like, well she was saying it wasn't what she.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Expected, and whatever, Well what did you expect?
- 2:50Speaker 1: Because she said initially that she just sort of dissociated
- 2:55Speaker 1: after a while and just kind of just fell into
- 2:57Speaker 1: this routine of these one hundred and one eyes in
- 3:00Speaker 1: twenty four hours to where if she truly thought about it,
- 3:03Speaker 1: she couldn't really remember anything about them after say the
- 3:07Speaker 1: tenth one, which of course makes you really sad.
- 3:09Speaker 3: I heard the eleventh guy, but didn't she say after
- 3:14Speaker 3: like it was thirty? The thirty became robotic yeah.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Well, yeah, yeah, yeah, So there's a there's there's a
- 3:20Speaker 1: there's a difference between the two sets of numbers.
- 3:25Speaker 3: You're in the first thirty, it's special. After that, the
- 3:29Speaker 3: magic's gone.
- 3:32Speaker 1: She previously insisted that she enjoyed the extreme stunt, but
- 3:36Speaker 1: all that sex did not make her feel good. She says,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I think by the thirtieth when we're getting on a bit,
- 3:43Speaker 1: I've got a routine of how we're going to do this,
- 3:45Speaker 1: and sometimes you disassociate and it's not like normal sex
- 3:48Speaker 1: at all. Congratulations, now you know this, even though I
- 3:51Speaker 1: feel like the rest of us already knew it without
- 3:52Speaker 1: having to do it. But whatever, and she says, and
- 3:57Speaker 1: it goes on. Although it was a momentously frisky feet
- 4:00Speaker 1: it wasn't all that memorable for the young woman, who
- 4:03Speaker 1: admitted she didn't remember much of it. She says, in
- 4:07Speaker 1: my head right now, I can think of like five
- 4:09Speaker 1: six guys, ten guys that I remember, and that's it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: So she says, after or around the thirtieth guy, she's
- 4:19Speaker 1: in the routine and she starts to disassociate, and it's
- 4:22Speaker 1: not like normal sex at all. But after like the
- 4:25Speaker 1: tenth guy, she doesn't remember the guys, m.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Okay, and she even went on.
- 4:34Speaker 1: To say she said I didn't have the videos. She
- 4:36Speaker 1: went on to say, if I didn't have the videos,
- 4:38Speaker 1: I wouldn't have known I did one hundred.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Just a gooey blur.
- 4:49Speaker 2: That ain't followed. Lady.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Have you have you seen the actual interview like her
- 4:55Speaker 3: talking about this.
- 4:56Speaker 1: I've seen a clip or too, Yeah, and she is,
- 5:01Speaker 1: She's emotional about it. I would like to point out, though,
- 5:04Speaker 1: that this plays right into my theory that every news
- 5:09Speaker 1: story can be made into a Hallmark movie. Okay, okay, time,
- 5:13Speaker 1: big time only fans star meets struggling YouTuber and turns over.
- 5:19Speaker 4: Literally.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I mean, I mean, say she turns over a new leaf.
- 5:26Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:27Speaker 2: No, no, I mean she just only shows her button now.
- 5:31Speaker 1: So it's safer for home, safer for Hallmark that way.
- 5:37Speaker 1: And if Hallmark passes this, this could actually make for
- 5:40Speaker 1: a really good, really good Disney movie one hundred and one,
- 5:46Speaker 1: one hundred and one Escape the clutches of a greedy
- 5:49Speaker 1: only Fans models set on making a coat out of them.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I think I'm on the way to becoming a Hollywood producer.
- 5:57Speaker 1: Why should they be the only ones to make bad movies?
- 5:59Speaker 2: And money on it.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Yes, and the record is nine hundred and nineteen, and
- 6:07Speaker 4: so why not just nine to twenty thousand.
- 6:10Speaker 2: It's a good round number.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because even in the story it goes on and
- 6:17Speaker 1: talks about how you're right rash. She does want to
- 6:21Speaker 1: despite the emotional and physical toll that one hundred and
- 6:26Speaker 1: one dudes took on her in twenty four hours, She
- 6:29Speaker 1: wants to set the new world record. The existing world
- 6:32Speaker 1: record is set by Lisa Sparks. She's an adult film
- 6:39Speaker 1: star who betted nine hundred and nineteen men in one
- 6:42Speaker 1: day at a sex industry event in Poland in two
- 6:46Speaker 1: thousand and four. And I mean Phillips has claimed that
- 6:52Speaker 1: she wants to take on this new challenge. And she
- 6:54Speaker 1: said on a post one thousand men and twenty four
- 6:57Speaker 1: hours male talent casting call, eight team plus only location
- 7:02Speaker 1: to be determined.
- 7:05Speaker 3: I mean, if the previous records yeah, stood for twenty years,
- 7:09Speaker 3: I guess she wants to break it and make sure
- 7:12Speaker 3: she's got it for another twenty Yeah.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean, you know, when Barry Bonds broke the home
- 7:18Speaker 1: run record in a single season, he didn't stop at
- 7:21Speaker 1: just one additional one. He kept on juicing and kept
- 7:24Speaker 1: on swinging, kept on hitting home runs, which coincidentally is juicing.
- 7:30Speaker 1: May have to be something that Lily Phillips considers on
- 7:32Speaker 1: this next feet.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Also, maybe she can consider taking some feet in there too.
- 7:39Speaker 3: I'm just trying to think of what her character's name
- 7:41Speaker 3: would be. Cruella wouldn't be the right one.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Mm now that would just be the name for her vagina.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Can you imagine being I don't know, You're holding number
- 7:58Speaker 1: four hundred and twenty eight and you're looking down at
- 8:00Speaker 1: that thing.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Going, well, I don't know, I'm want to go in
- 8:03Speaker 2: there anymore.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Because in order to hit one thousand in a day,
- 8:08Speaker 1: you're gonna have to have a larger number in attendance
- 8:11Speaker 1: ready to go because some guys aren't going to be
- 8:14Speaker 1: able to do it. Some guys are going to back
- 8:16Speaker 1: out for various reasons, not the least of whiches. They
- 8:19Speaker 1: might be afraid of that thing after, you know, three
- 8:20Speaker 1: or four hundred other dudes get in on it before
- 8:22Speaker 1: they do dash, you need.
- 8:25Speaker 4: A lot of fluffers too, Yeah, she did. She did
- 8:30Speaker 4: say that there will be more on hand because there's
- 8:34Speaker 4: some performance anxiety.
- 8:36Speaker 2: And on mouth, on feet whatever.
- 8:38Speaker 1: It takes a big team effort, So anyway, go ahead, tray.
- 8:46Speaker 3: That's also why you have to have some extras because
- 8:48Speaker 3: occasionally the fluffers will do too good of a job.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Listened to the Treehouse, visit us online that Treehouse on
- 9:04Speaker 6: air dot com.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Time not to talk to Daniel Cook from cook Dfwroofing
- 9:17Speaker 1: and Restoration for your free roof inspection and to get
- 9:20Speaker 1: yourself on the very important cook list eight three three
- 9:23Speaker 1: cook DFW or the website cookdfw dot com. It's that
- 9:27Speaker 1: time of season, Daniel, and that season is of course
- 9:30Speaker 1: people on their roofs decorating for the holidays. Many people
- 9:33Speaker 1: already have decorated, which means they're going to take them
- 9:35Speaker 1: down soon.
- 9:37Speaker 2: And is that when they're going to discover that maybe
- 9:39Speaker 2: they did little damage to their roof when they put
- 9:41Speaker 2: up Santa Claus and his reindeer.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Dan, it is that time of the year. Merry Christmas
- 9:46Speaker 7: to you and everybody listening. And yes, sir, we see
- 9:50Speaker 7: a lot of roof damage, especially around the edges of
- 9:55Speaker 7: the people's homes. A lot of people will skirt around
- 9:58Speaker 7: the sides because they get scared about going too far
- 10:00Speaker 7: up and they kind of hold themselves up around the
- 10:03Speaker 7: edge as they're plugging the lights around, or they'll hold
- 10:07Speaker 7: the ladder against the side of the roof and they'll
- 10:09Speaker 7: damage the shingles all the way around the edges. So
- 10:13Speaker 7: there's a lot of things that happen to shingles, and
- 10:15Speaker 7: it may not damage it right away enough to leak,
- 10:17Speaker 7: but it's going to potentially put it there. So we
- 10:20Speaker 7: always suggest having your roof checked out once a year,
- 10:23Speaker 7: at least obviously for all the weather that we have,
- 10:25Speaker 7: but especially if you know you've had people on top
- 10:27Speaker 7: of your roof hanging lights or decorations, or you know
- 10:31Speaker 7: you see some shingles that are starting to fold on
- 10:33Speaker 7: the corner, so let us come out. Let's do an inspection.
- 10:36Speaker 7: May need some minor repairs, but it could save you
- 10:37Speaker 7: potentially thousands of dollars later on.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Eight three three Cook DFW. That's eight three three cook
- 10:42Speaker 2: at DFW or that website cookdfw dot com.
- 10:52Speaker 5: You're in good Treethouse.
- 10:55Speaker 8: Visit us online at Treethouse on Air dot com.
- 11:01Speaker 1: You need to follow the Treehouse on social media, and
- 11:04Speaker 1: in the case of this next segment, you really need
- 11:06Speaker 1: to follow us on Instagram especially, but across all social
- 11:10Speaker 1: media channels. Follow the Treehouse at Treehouse on Air at
- 11:14Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air. And the reason why I bring up
- 11:17Speaker 1: how important it is to follow us on social media
- 11:19Speaker 1: and Instagram is because sometimes you'll be introduced to something
- 11:23Speaker 1: miraculous or just really hysterical. Either way, our very own
- 11:29Speaker 1: Raj Sharma introduced a Christmas controversy on Instagram and I'd
- 11:38Speaker 1: like to share this Christmas controversy with you inside the
- 11:42Speaker 1: Treehouse in case you haven't seen it on our social
- 11:46Speaker 1: media channels at Treehouse on Air.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Once again, that's at Treehouse on Air. So here we go.
- 11:53Speaker 1: This is, according to the caption, the greatest Christmas commercial
- 11:58Speaker 1: ever made. It starts out as a single shot of
- 12:02Speaker 1: a woman opening up her front door. She's wearing a robe,
- 12:05Speaker 1: and she's yelling at her husband about the Christmas gift
- 12:08Speaker 1: she just received.
- 12:10Speaker 2: If these teeth Camart earrings for the best you can
- 12:12Speaker 2: do this Christmas, then you can just follow about the door.
- 12:18Speaker 1: As she opens the door and begins to throw the
- 12:20Speaker 1: cheap kmart earrings out of it, she sees parked in
- 12:25Speaker 1: the driveway a brand new Cadillac Escalade with a big
- 12:29Speaker 1: red ribbon on the hood, and her tone immediately changes.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Her hand covers her mouth. She's so excited, and the
- 12:40Speaker 2: man shows up behind her and hands her the keys,
- 12:42Speaker 2: and she runs to the vehicle, opens the car door.
- 12:45Speaker 2: She can't wait to turn the ignition it's.
- 12:48Speaker 1: A Christmas miracle, and the Cadillac blows up with her
- 12:56Speaker 1: inside it.
- 13:01Speaker 2: And the tag at the end is.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It's a beautiful ad.
- 13:09Speaker 2: It's a beautiful story. It's right up there.
- 13:13Speaker 1: It's right up there with Hemingway's classic short story baby
- 13:17Speaker 1: Shoes Barely Used.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Actually I think that was baby shoes never used, but
- 13:24Speaker 2: still this would be Cadillac Escalade barely used.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I didn't think about it at first, but then I
- 13:33Speaker 1: read the first comment that seemed to be a little
- 13:35Speaker 1: miffed about it, and I was like, oh, no, here
- 13:38Speaker 1: comes the pearl clutching crowd, and man, Raj, you stirred
- 13:44Speaker 1: them up.
- 13:44Speaker 2: It's like a hornet's nest of.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I don't want to say that all of the commentors
- 13:51Speaker 1: are female, and all of these commentors that are female
- 13:54Speaker 1: that take issue with the content of this post, I
- 13:57Speaker 1: don't want to say that all of them feel self
- 13:59Speaker 1: conscious about the guilt that they may have bury deep
- 14:01Speaker 1: inside them for well they put their spouses through.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I'm just assuming m But there are a lot of them.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Yes, so far, one of the top ones is a lady. Again,
- 14:18Speaker 1: I'm assuming it's a lady. Tell me how this is
- 14:20Speaker 1: the best commercial blowing up your wife?
- 14:23Speaker 4: Mh.
- 14:25Speaker 1: To Raj's credit, he responds, because no one got blown up.
- 14:27Speaker 1: The actors agreed to it. They read this script and
- 14:29Speaker 1: found it funny. Yes, let's take a step back and
- 14:36Speaker 1: realize this is Instagram or this is television. This ain't
- 14:40Speaker 1: bag dad okay, Yes, another one, another one saying hey,
- 14:48Speaker 1: just asking, which, by the way, if you ever start
- 14:50Speaker 1: a comment online, was saying, hey, just asking. You're not
- 14:53Speaker 1: just asking, okay, correct, You're you're disclaiming anyway. Survivor Mouse says, hey,
- 14:59Speaker 1: just asking. Isn't Christmas supposed to be a religious holiday?
- 15:02Speaker 1: So just wondering about this violent commercial connected to Christmas?
- 15:06Speaker 1: So maybe I'm missing something, or maybe Christmas isn't celebrated
- 15:09Speaker 1: as a religious holiday anymore and it's just a commercial
- 15:11Speaker 1: celebration that's okay, with a hearty laugh, direct directly connected
- 15:16Speaker 1: to bombing, slash killing your spouse, Like I said, just asking.
- 15:20Speaker 3: Mm hm. And and that is an absolutely valid point
- 15:24Speaker 3: if you have never gotten upset about what you received
- 15:27Speaker 3: for Christmas, then you can make that statement and you
- 15:30Speaker 3: are you are right. But unless, yeah, that's a big
- 15:36Speaker 3: Unless you've ever been mad about what you got for Christmas,
- 15:40Speaker 3: shut up.
- 15:41Speaker 1: If you've ever even been slightly disappointed in the in
- 15:45Speaker 1: the gift that your spouse gave you for for a gift,
- 15:48Speaker 1: then you need to hit the beep in the wrong part.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Then you need to shut the up. H But people don't.
- 15:55Speaker 2: It's the Internet and people like to comment like crazy. Uh.
- 15:59Speaker 1: The survivor Mouse then doubles down on the just asking
- 16:03Speaker 1: comment by saying, I guess it might seem like it
- 16:05Speaker 1: compared to the rapidly sinking moral climate of this generation.
- 16:09Speaker 1: I'd like to step out of that comment for a
- 16:11Speaker 1: section and say, what do you mean this generation? That actor?
- 16:15Speaker 1: Those two actors are definitely gen X one. Because this
- 16:17Speaker 1: commercial was not shot in HD, they might be in
- 16:20Speaker 1: their late twenties early thirties, And if this commercial is
- 16:22Speaker 1: not shot in HD, they're easily in their forties and
- 16:25Speaker 1: fifties now, So once again, shut the gop.
- 16:29Speaker 3: It references Kmart too.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Trust us.
- 16:34Speaker 1: If there's a generation out there that can take a
- 16:37Speaker 1: joke it's us, it's gen X, well not all of
- 16:40Speaker 1: us clearly anyway, Survivor Mouse goes back to say, nowadays
- 16:44Speaker 1: you got to follow along with the majority, go at
- 16:46Speaker 1: the flow at heaven forbid, never question anything, even if
- 16:49Speaker 1: it's brazenly obvious. The most important thing is to be
- 16:52Speaker 1: liked and accepted, even if the personal cost is high
- 16:54Speaker 1: integrity and self respect.
- 16:56Speaker 2: That's a pretty high price to pay to be liked.
- 17:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm a stand up comment. I gave up. I
- 17:04Speaker 4: gave that up a long time ago.
- 17:06Speaker 2: Good on you as radio people. Trey and I.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I don't know if we ever even had it initial
- 17:17Speaker 1: trying to see if there's any others that, uh, let's see.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Oh, there's a lot of them. There's a lot of
- 17:24Speaker 4: how is this funny? Blow you blow up your wife?
- 17:26Speaker 2: Now?
- 17:27Speaker 4: My thought was if this was reversed and it was
- 17:30Speaker 4: the guy that gets blown up, there would be far
- 17:32Speaker 4: fewer comments.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, there'd be. There'd be less, there'll be
- 17:36Speaker 1: there'd be almost zero outrage. There'd be the occasional super
- 17:40Speaker 1: female outrage who is typically outraged at female depictions of
- 17:44Speaker 1: female violence and joking form like this is. But she's
- 17:47Speaker 1: so offended that she'll go crossing over into the other side,
- 17:50Speaker 1: and also being offended for the man that never asked
- 17:52Speaker 1: for her sympathy or defense in the first place.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Yes, plus, I mean if it was a guy, what
- 17:59Speaker 3: are they gonna say, Well, if this is the you
- 18:02Speaker 3: only got me a tie and a cup. But I'm well, yeah,
- 18:06Speaker 3: that's all you got. That's all only you're ever gonna get.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Sorry, expectations are a real bitch man. Yeah, real quick, Raj,
- 18:15Speaker 1: what is this an ad for? Because you said it's
- 18:18Speaker 1: the best you said it's the best commercial ever. So
- 18:20Speaker 1: I was wonderings like, what is this actually an ad for?
- 18:22Speaker 1: Or is it just a spoof thing.
- 18:24Speaker 4: It's just a spoof thing. There's the it's all I mean.
- 18:27Speaker 4: You know you put the title up to to get
- 18:30Speaker 4: eyes on it. Oh yeah, Christmas commercial ever made.
- 18:33Speaker 1: I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't an
- 18:35Speaker 1: actual product or service being sold, because if there was,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I was going to go buy it and contribute to
- 18:40Speaker 1: the to the fine company.
- 18:43Speaker 3: If it wasn't, it was probably UK based because their
- 18:47Speaker 3: coursials tend to get a little more fun funny.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Someone else says nope, not okay, but tells me a
- 18:56Speaker 1: lot about you and those who are laughing.
- 18:58Speaker 2: So I guess it's informative. Okay, this really is one
- 19:03Speaker 2: of those.
- 19:04Speaker 1: This is actually a great microcosm because e Raja has
- 19:06Speaker 1: a stand up comedian. You know this, Trey and I
- 19:08Speaker 1: know this, you know doing radio for so many years.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Is some people just have different sensitive humor. And guess what,
- 19:16Speaker 1: it's okay. Not everyone has to have your same lame,
- 19:19Speaker 1: boring ass vanilla's sense of humor. Some of us are
- 19:21Speaker 1: a little more exciting.
- 19:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's the thing is, Uh, it's subjective. I
- 19:27Speaker 4: found it funny, so I posted it on my page.
- 19:30Speaker 4: You don't have to stop at my page. You can
- 19:33Speaker 4: keep going.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah, your thumbs unless unless your thumbs have been severed. Yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: and in an accident in which you got to escalate
- 19:40Speaker 1: for Christmas and it blew you up, then lighten up.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Francis like arties here, he has this all in perspective
- 19:50Speaker 1: very well in the comment section. Give her a gift
- 19:52Speaker 1: that'll blow her away, see.
- 19:55Speaker 4: You, Now that's funny.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's what we're trying to cull.
- 20:00Speaker 1: The vader around here is a treehouse of funny and
- 20:06Speaker 1: that occasionally makes some ladies clutch their pearls, then so
- 20:11Speaker 1: be it.
- 20:12Speaker 4: Yes, and I always stop and go. You know, the
- 20:16Speaker 4: actors agreed to this, like they read the script and went, oh,
- 20:19Speaker 4: that's hilarious. So we're going to do this, and we're
- 20:22Speaker 4: going to make this commercial. And I think it's hilarious.
- 20:24Speaker 4: And so your outrage is stupid to me, especially when
- 20:29Speaker 4: people are directing it towards me. Come on, I didn't
- 20:32Speaker 4: make this.
- 20:33Speaker 1: The other thing that you know could be outrageous in
- 20:37Speaker 1: this is in the commercial. The woman, the female actress,
- 20:41Speaker 1: she sees the script. She could have said, oh, my goodness,
- 20:44Speaker 1: this is really insulting women, to which the director or
- 20:47Speaker 1: the producer could have said, if you think this is insulting,
- 20:49Speaker 1: wait till you see how much you're getting paid versus
- 20:51Speaker 1: the dude.
- 20:52Speaker 9: Yeah, you're listening to the Treehouse.

- 21:34Speaker 1: was phenomenal. And it wasn't just because it was me.
- 21:36Speaker 1: It was because that's the kind of company you run.
- 21:39Speaker 1: You go out of your way trying to help every
- 21:41Speaker 1: client and try to get there as soon as you can.
- 21:43Speaker 10: Well, I mean, the reality of it is is that
- 21:46Speaker 10: plumbing is unfortunately a need and not so much a want. Yes,
- 21:49Speaker 10: you can want to remodel the bathroom and that's not pressing,
- 21:53Speaker 10: but typically when it comes to service or leak investigations,
- 21:57Speaker 10: et cetera, et cetera. If you've got to stoppage on
- 21:59Speaker 10: the mainline and you don't know and you keep putting
- 22:04Speaker 10: liquid or you know, waste into the drains, if it
- 22:09Speaker 10: has nowhere to go, we'll come back in the house.
- 22:11Speaker 10: And at that point in time, it's no longer a want,
- 22:14Speaker 10: it's a need, and that sort of thing can't wait.
- 22:18Speaker 10: When you have those emergencies, you have got to figure
- 22:21Speaker 10: out how to manage the crew so that you can
- 22:23Speaker 10: have the best response time.
- 22:25Speaker 1: That's right, and they'll show up and they'll do it quickly.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Call Jacqueline from Brooks Plumbing for any and all of
- 22:30Speaker 1: those plumbing wants and needs two, one, fourth, three, six, eight,

- 23:11Speaker 1: as well. Treehouse on Air dot com traded. You have
- 23:15Speaker 1: something else you wanted to add to the greatest Christmas
- 23:18Speaker 1: commercial ever that ended with a husband blowing up his wife?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Well, yeah, because I mean the guy could have looked
- 23:23Speaker 3: at the script and go, guys, this isn't real. He
- 23:25Speaker 3: would have at least had her drive to take a
- 23:27Speaker 3: test drive and the driveway be too obvious.
- 23:36Speaker 4: And that's where forensic files comes in.
- 23:40Speaker 1: You are right, because if you wanted to really be
- 23:42Speaker 1: sadistic about it, you could have let her drive off
- 23:45Speaker 1: a little ways and really start to enjoy the new
- 23:48Speaker 1: gift that she thinks that she's going to have and enjoy.
- 23:51Speaker 2: For years, when in reality it's going to be seconds.
- 23:57Speaker 4: My thought was when when it blew up, I was
- 24:00Speaker 4: clearly not real it would have shattered the windows.
- 24:02Speaker 1: Come on, Yeah, the guy wouldn't be able to stand
- 24:06Speaker 1: that close to the blast and feel nothing right or
- 24:10Speaker 1: even duck. But it is a high quality, high quality
- 24:15Speaker 1: item that we have posted there at Treehouse on Air
- 24:19Speaker 1: on Instagram. We've talked a little bit this week about
- 24:28Speaker 1: all the craziness over the drones over New Jersey, alleged
- 24:35Speaker 1: UFOs off the coast of Oregon, and elected officials, a
- 24:45Speaker 1: number of them from both sides of the aisle, have
- 24:47Speaker 1: been calling for more regulation or more transparency. But there's
- 24:53Speaker 1: one particular state senator from Pennsylvania that had I believe,
- 24:57Speaker 1: probably the strongest take of the mall when it comes
- 25:00Speaker 1: to the drone controversy. Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano is
- 25:06Speaker 1: getting destroyed over a tweet mistaking a Giant Star Wars
- 25:11Speaker 1: tie fighter for a captured drone. Yeah, okay, this is
- 25:22Speaker 1: I need to start a file somewhere that is titled
- 25:26Speaker 1: things I Wish I was making up because I honestly,
- 25:32Speaker 1: I used to think our elected officials were supposed to
- 25:37Speaker 1: be the best of us.
- 25:38Speaker 2: But I was way wrong. They're the worst.
- 25:40Speaker 4: Oh.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Now, granted I had that thought when I was a child,
- 25:44Speaker 1: and the older I got, the more I realized that, yeah,
- 25:48Speaker 1: our elected officials are not necessarily the best of us.
- 25:51Speaker 1: They're just the people that you know, won. But but yeah,
- 25:58Speaker 1: it really was this guy. There was an account that
- 26:01Speaker 1: posted I believe it was a parody account that posted
- 26:05Speaker 1: a Star Wars tie fighter, almost almost a life size one,
- 26:09Speaker 1: strapped to a flatbed, saying that this drone was captured
- 26:16Speaker 1: over the ocean, and this state senator from Pennsylvania said,
- 26:19Speaker 1: this has got to stop.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Win need answer like, dude, how how do you not
- 26:26Speaker 2: know an Imperial Intercept fighter when you see one? Well?
- 26:31Speaker 3: Any even in his tweet, it's like, I guess Ukraine's
- 26:34Speaker 3: more important. It's like, dude, And then and then I
- 26:39Speaker 3: don't know, I don't know what story you've got. But
- 26:41Speaker 3: then I mean he continues because after he gets called out,
- 26:45Speaker 3: then you know he's like, well, of course I knew
- 26:47Speaker 3: it was it was a joke. You know, I can
- 26:50Speaker 3: spot a Star Wars prop okay, then you would have
- 26:53Speaker 3: known it was a tie fighter.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And you wouldn't have said anything other in the first place.
- 27:00Speaker 1: You're busted.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Let me see if I can show you the photo here, Raj.
- 27:10Speaker 4: I mean it's hard to I mean, for any human being,
- 27:12Speaker 4: it's hard to admit when you're dumb.
- 27:16Speaker 2: It is.
- 27:16Speaker 1: It is hard, But trust me, it's it's better for
- 27:20Speaker 1: you in the long run if you just take your medicine,
- 27:22Speaker 1: say you know what, I f'd up, I got my bad.
- 27:26Speaker 2: I'll do better, and then it's over. When you say
- 27:29Speaker 2: my bad, I'll do better.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Why, that's why all the big time pr agencies tell
- 27:35Speaker 1: you to admit fault and then move the conversation forward.
- 27:40Speaker 1: All you've got to do, all you've got to say
- 27:43Speaker 1: is my bad, I'll.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Do better, and it's over. It's over.
- 27:48Speaker 1: But if you doubled now, or you say something other
- 27:53Speaker 1: than my bad, I'll do better, then it's just going
- 27:56Speaker 1: to get worse. So the photo that the state Senator
- 28:01Speaker 1: Mastriano posted the caption is breaking news. Crashed drone in
- 28:06Speaker 1: Orange Beach, retrieved from water and taken to undisclosed location
- 28:10Speaker 1: for further investigation.
- 28:11Speaker 2: And it's a.
- 28:12Speaker 1: Photo of a flatbread driving down of a flatbed, driving
- 28:16Speaker 1: down the highway with a black Star Wars high Fighter
- 28:21Speaker 1: ratchet strapped to it.
- 28:22Speaker 4: See yeah, come on now, dude, I even I know
- 28:28Speaker 4: what that is, and I'm not a big Star Wars guy.
- 28:31Speaker 3: So here's the other thing. If they actually made tie
- 28:36Speaker 3: fighter drones, they would be everywhere.
- 28:41Speaker 1: I just got chills because that one's big enough where
- 28:45Speaker 1: you could get in. I want that because it won't
- 28:50Speaker 1: be on it won't be strapped to a flatbed unless
- 28:52Speaker 1: they're delivering it to me, so then I can fly.
- 28:54Speaker 2: It around places.
- 28:59Speaker 1: Why aren't some of the those manned flying machines that
- 29:02Speaker 1: we've seen in recent weeks and months saying hey, would
- 29:05Speaker 1: you take this to work?
- 29:06Speaker 2: Would you commute?
- 29:07Speaker 1: This only cost twelve thousand dollars or it can get
- 29:09Speaker 1: one hundred something miles on one electric charge, and it's
- 29:12Speaker 1: basically a human it's a drone basically, but you can
- 29:19Speaker 1: get in it. So it's a manned aircraft that you
- 29:22Speaker 1: can get in and fly around. They need to make
- 29:24Speaker 1: those in Star Wars form. They'll sell out.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Yeah, but there's also people that will shoot you down.
- 29:29Speaker 4: So there's who run that risk? Like, how bad do
- 29:33Speaker 4: you need to get to.
- 29:33Speaker 1: The rules of engagement are clear. You do not fire
- 29:37Speaker 1: unless fired upon. If you fire upon me, I will respond.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I will deploy my xfoils to attack position.
- 29:48Speaker 4: I don't know what that meant, but that was the
- 29:49Speaker 4: nerdiest thing I've ever heard.
- 29:51Speaker 1: You say, just stay on the highway, don't fly over
- 29:56Speaker 1: any ranches.
- 29:57Speaker 2: You'll probably be fine.
- 30:00Speaker 3: And here's the other thing where this drone thing is
- 30:02Speaker 3: getting completely out of hand. There are drones everywhere. You
- 30:06Speaker 3: can buy a drone for thirty dollars. Just because you
- 30:10Speaker 3: see one doesn't mean is anything like now I saw
- 30:14Speaker 3: a post on face, there's a drone on of Will's point.
- 30:18Speaker 3: It's all over the place. Now, it's like, just because
- 30:20Speaker 3: some jackass is flying is drone around, doesn't mean you're
- 30:23Speaker 3: special or they're looking for anything. They're not looking for intelligence.
- 30:26Speaker 4: In Will's point, no offense, there's none taken because that's
- 30:32Speaker 4: that's a fact.
- 30:34Speaker 2: I think.
- 30:35Speaker 1: If there's anything you could if you wanted to take
- 30:37Speaker 1: one sentence out of context from this show, but it's
- 30:41Speaker 1: still be in context for anybody that sees it. It's
- 30:44Speaker 1: that statement right there. Trade. I'm proud of you, thank you,
- 30:50Speaker 1: well done. You managed that was a clutch performance. You
- 30:56Speaker 1: managed to get the line of the year in right
- 30:58Speaker 1: before the end of the year.
- 31:00Speaker 3: Well done.
- 31:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you're in the treehouse.

- 31:49Speaker 1: is some troubling news coming out of Italy, more specifically
- 31:54Speaker 1: the Vatican.
- 31:56Speaker 5: Uh.
- 32:00Speaker 1: The Vatican is on the brink of bankruptcy due to
- 32:03Speaker 1: the dramatic decline in global donations under Pope Francis's leadership.
- 32:10Speaker 1: Maybe this explains why the Pope is opening all those
- 32:13Speaker 1: doors on Christmas Eve. He's looking for money he knows
- 32:16Speaker 1: he left somewhere around here. Because we just mentioned and
- 32:22Speaker 1: it was yesterday again. This was another story that stayed
- 32:25Speaker 1: on my mind about how the Pope on Christmas Eve
- 32:30Speaker 1: is going to be opening five sacred portals in a
- 32:33Speaker 1: ritual and a ritual that's never been done before. So
- 32:37Speaker 1: maybe there's a connection between the Vatican being on the
- 32:41Speaker 1: brink of bankruptcy and the Pope wandering around Rome opening
- 32:46Speaker 1: up doors thinking it's a game show, thinking it's it's
- 32:52Speaker 1: the Catholic version of let's make a deal, and he's
- 32:55Speaker 1: really hoping to get the big one behind door number two.
- 33:02Speaker 1: And let's be honest, he's not the only eighty eight
- 33:04Speaker 1: year old man wandering the streets opening up doors.
- 33:10Speaker 4: And if they needed money, they can just sell some
- 33:12Speaker 4: of the stuff that's in there archives.
- 33:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, that's the Vatican has their own currency. They
- 33:19Speaker 3: probably they're it's all speculation, but it's estimated that they
- 33:25Speaker 3: probably have close to it upwards to a trillion dollars
- 33:30Speaker 3: of relics, artifacts, gold, lots of gold in those basements.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yeah, and that stuff is backed by more solid items,
- 33:39Speaker 1: by more actual goods and and things than cryptocurrency is.
- 33:47Speaker 3: Even regular currency. They they technically probably have a gold
- 33:51Speaker 3: back currency. I mean, yeah, it's a yeah. And the
- 33:55Speaker 3: fact that they're talking about that, it's effect that it's
- 33:57Speaker 3: gonna affect the pensions of the priests everything else. Like
- 34:00Speaker 3: if I if I, if I'm a Catholic priest and
- 34:02Speaker 3: your threatening my pension because yo, you don't want to
- 34:06Speaker 3: you know, have a garage sale.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Ain't no garage sell like a Catholic garage sale.
- 34:17Speaker 4: I'd go to that.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Well, not only would you go to that, Raj, but
- 34:20Speaker 1: can you imagine the faces on uh everyone at Antiques
- 34:24Speaker 1: Road Show when you show up with splinters from the
- 34:28Speaker 1: actual cross. You show up at the table on Antiques
- 34:35Speaker 1: Road Show with the shroud of duran and I felt
- 34:38Speaker 1: I got a garage sale in Italy for like five bucks.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Jesus is a year book. I mean, at this point,
- 34:47Speaker 3: take an auction off. You know, they're like, hey, hi, Spidder,
- 34:50Speaker 3: We'll make you a saint.
- 34:54Speaker 4: I would I would love to be Saint Raj. I
- 34:56Speaker 4: don't know what I'd be the patron saint of, but
- 34:58Speaker 4: I would love to be.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You'd be the patron saint of Antique's Road Show.
- 35:03Speaker 4: Yes, that show is fantastic.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I do like the idea though, of Jesus having a
- 35:08Speaker 1: year book, because I asked, because that also means that
- 35:10Speaker 1: he probably had class with Lucifer, who I would imagine
- 35:15Speaker 1: signed his yearbook along the.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Crack have a great summer?
- 35:28Speaker 1: I mean, have things really gotten that bad for the
- 35:31Speaker 1: Catholic Church that the pope is just wandering the city
- 35:33Speaker 1: looking for money.
- 35:36Speaker 4: No, this is just a stunt. You gotta you gotta,
- 35:39Speaker 4: you gotta love, you gotta love the effort that they're
- 35:42Speaker 4: putting putting into this story.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Well, and it's you know, they're blaming because Pope Francis
- 35:48Speaker 3: has been fairly controversial and that he has been very
- 35:52Speaker 3: progressive in his stances versus the old guard of Catholic theology.
- 35:58Speaker 3: And but they're not you know, what they're not saying is, oh, hey,
- 36:01Speaker 3: there was a global pandemic you know that that really
- 36:04Speaker 3: put it in and donation church donations because no one
- 36:07Speaker 3: was going to church. That put a big dent in things. Yeah,
- 36:13Speaker 3: and we've also been a global recession, inflation, everything else.
- 36:17Speaker 1: It's yeah, the economy has been hard on the Catholic
- 36:19Speaker 1: Church again.
- 36:21Speaker 3: Uh, you know, you could put a blindfold on somebody,
- 36:23Speaker 3: send them down to the basement and go just pick
- 36:25Speaker 3: something and it's probably it's probably worth you know, eight
- 36:28Speaker 3: nine figures.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Yeah, that's actually a good idea.
- 36:31Speaker 1: You could sell raffle tickets and the winner gets to
- 36:36Speaker 1: go into the catacombs of the Vatican and grab one item.
- 36:39Speaker 1: It's sort of like supermarket sweet, but in the belly
- 36:41Speaker 1: of Vatican city.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Yeah, and then they're going to come out.
- 36:45Speaker 2: You're right, They're going to come out with something that's
- 36:46Speaker 2: worth millions of dollars.
- 36:47Speaker 4: Yeah. And then by the time you get to the
- 36:49Speaker 4: get out of the catacombs, that's when they kill you
- 36:52Speaker 4: and put it right back.
- 36:56Speaker 3: You found the evidence of aliens that they've been covering up.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Sorry, you made it wrong. Right hand turn.
- 37:06Speaker 5: You're in the Treehouse.
- 37:09Speaker 8: Listen us online at Treehouse on air dot com.

- 37:31Speaker 6: on air dot com.
- 37:37Speaker 1: You are inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 37:40Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Thursday, December nineteenth,
- 37:45Speaker 1: twenty twenty four. Let's celebrate with some birthdays. Paulina Gretzky
- 37:55Speaker 1: turns thirty six today. She is the daughter of Wayne
- 37:57Speaker 1: Gretzky and his wife. Here it just says Wayne Gretzky's daughter.
- 38:02Speaker 1: It's like he didn't just.
- 38:05Speaker 4: Her out.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I mean he had to.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Have her with his wife, who, by the way, was
- 38:10Speaker 1: one of the stars of Police Academy five.
- 38:14Speaker 4: See that's only you've seen that movie.
- 38:17Speaker 2: No others have too.
- 38:19Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Maybe maybe Michael Winslow saw it in a drunken Scooper.
- 38:27Speaker 2: I don't I don't know about Uh. I don't know
- 38:29Speaker 2: about Bubba Smith.
- 38:31Speaker 1: I don't know if the guy that played High Tower
- 38:32Speaker 1: ever bothered to watch it.
- 38:34Speaker 2: But uh, I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Other birthdays today, we've got uh Jake Jillenhall.
- 38:43Speaker 2: He is forty four today.
- 38:45Speaker 1: It's one of those guys that I sometimes think is
- 38:47Speaker 1: a really good actor, and then other times he'll he'll
- 38:49Speaker 1: do a film and I'm like why, Like I think
- 38:55Speaker 1: it was Prince of Persia, where he's supposed to play
- 38:58Speaker 1: a Persian man. I wondered, why why did you do that?
- 39:02Speaker 2: One?
- 39:02Speaker 1: Like like Donnie Darko was supposed to be like this
- 39:04Speaker 1: great indie cult film and he's a good actor and everything,
- 39:07Speaker 1: and he's a good actor in other films, but then
- 39:12Speaker 1: he goes and does the Roadhouse remake and you're like,
- 39:15Speaker 1: but why bro?
- 39:17Speaker 4: But also that has to can you imagine being all
- 39:20Speaker 4: all the Persian actors in l A Like, seriously, we're
- 39:24Speaker 4: here too.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Sorry, you're already type cast as a terrorist, sir.
- 39:28Speaker 4: That is That's what it is.
- 39:33Speaker 1: Yeah, For some reason, I'm kind of drawing a blink
- 39:36Speaker 1: on some of his other like quote unquote good Roles,
- 39:38Speaker 1: one of the bad ones. What's that broke back Mountain?
- 39:42Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that took some serious acting chops.
- 39:46Speaker 4: Okay, mm hmm.
- 39:53Speaker 1: But he was also in Ambulance, the Michael Bay film, which,
- 39:58Speaker 1: for some reason, I don't know why, but every time
- 40:00Speaker 1: I saw any sort of reference to the film, whether
- 40:03Speaker 1: it was in a commercial, a trailer, or a poster,
- 40:06Speaker 1: in my head, I keep saying, Ambulance.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Did you see the movie?
- 40:11Speaker 5: Yes?
- 40:14Speaker 2: I like action films, okay, assuming it's a Michael Bay film.
- 40:17Speaker 2: I'm usually a big fan of his movies.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Michael Bay films, big on effects.
- 40:24Speaker 2: Small, odd story.
- 40:27Speaker 1: Look, they're great when you're working out at the gym,
- 40:29Speaker 1: you're on the elliptical for thirty forty minutes, just something
- 40:33Speaker 1: just kind of passed the time. And there's not much
- 40:36Speaker 1: better out there to pass the time with not a
- 40:39Speaker 1: whole lot of thinking than a good old fashioned Michael
- 40:41Speaker 1: Bay film.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Anyway.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Other birthdays Today Alyssa Milano, she turns fifty two. Today,
- 40:47Speaker 1: Model and actor Tyson Beckford is fifty four. Christy Swanson
- 40:51Speaker 1: turns fifty five, star of the original Buffy the Vampire
- 40:54Speaker 1: Slayer movie. The main reason I like bringing that up
- 40:57Speaker 1: is because, yes, I've seen the original Buffy the Van
- 41:00Speaker 1: Empire Slayer movie. Not just because it starred Christy Swanson.
- 41:05Speaker 1: That was a big part of it, but after seeing
- 41:07Speaker 1: the film, it gave me a new appreciation for what
- 41:10Speaker 1: a fine actor Paul Rubins was because he played Dracula's assistant,
- 41:19Speaker 1: like number two guy, and he was really really funny,
- 41:23Speaker 1: really really good in it. And it was finally a
- 41:25Speaker 1: film that I could appreciate Paul Rubins in where he
- 41:29Speaker 1: wasn't playing Pee wee Herman got No.
- 41:33Speaker 3: That was right after he had, you know, been caught
- 41:38Speaker 3: in the adult theater and so that was I think
- 41:42Speaker 3: probably his first role after that whole scandal.
- 41:45Speaker 2: I think it was, and he owned it. He absolutely
- 41:47Speaker 2: nailed it.
- 41:47Speaker 1: He has one of the greatest death scenes in movie history.
- 41:51Speaker 1: And if you haven't seen it, one of these days
- 41:53Speaker 1: i'll show you. But by Trey's reaction, I think he's
- 41:56Speaker 1: seen it.
- 41:56Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh ah, I have not, So.
- 42:04Speaker 2: You're missing out, brother.
- 42:06Speaker 3: You remember, It's the closest thing I can give you
- 42:09Speaker 3: a reference to that you might have seen is Deadpool too.
- 42:13Speaker 3: When his death scene it's very gosh, like, oh my god,
- 42:18Speaker 3: and then he comes back. It was kind of a
- 42:21Speaker 3: lot like that, just cornier, but it was funny.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Yes, it's like Family Guy when he hurts his knee.
- 42:30Speaker 3: A little bit.
- 42:31Speaker 2: It's a little bit like that.
- 42:32Speaker 1: Yeah, but again it'll give you a new appreciation for
- 42:34Speaker 1: Paul Rubins the actor. Other birthdays today, Chris Angel, the
- 42:39Speaker 1: Street Magician, slash Illusionist whatever it is is fifty seven.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Robert McNaughton is fifty eight. Did you have something on
- 42:46Speaker 1: Chris Angel raj.
- 42:48Speaker 4: No, I just I didn't know he was that old.
- 42:49Speaker 4: And I was in Vegas and it used to be
- 42:53Speaker 4: The Sole Presents Mind Freaking and the show is so
- 42:57Speaker 4: bad that sort of took their name off of it.
- 43:01Speaker 4: And that was a planet Hollywood, and there were just
- 43:03Speaker 4: stacks of tickets at the Blackshack table, like you can
- 43:06Speaker 4: take as many as you want.
- 43:08Speaker 1: Well, maybe that was maybe that was the ultimate mind
- 43:10Speaker 1: Freak was steel.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Jennifer Beals is sixty one today. She originally played Alex Owens,
- 43:22Speaker 1: a steel worker by day, dancer by night and flash
- 43:24Speaker 1: dance And can we just take a moment to appreciate
- 43:28Speaker 1: that plotline?
- 43:30Speaker 2: Jennifer Beals in.
- 43:32Speaker 1: An eighties movies in an eighties movie classic where she
- 43:35Speaker 1: plays Alex Owens, a steal a female steel worker by
- 43:39Speaker 1: day stripper by night.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Mm hm, seriously, the eighties? Is there is there a
- 43:47Speaker 2: better decade for films?
- 43:51Speaker 5: Yes?
- 43:54Speaker 3: Not if you were a writer and had a stupid idea.
- 44:03Speaker 5: You're listening to the Treehouse.

- 44:30Speaker 1: You are back in the Treehouse now, Dan, Trey and
- 44:33Speaker 1: Raj we were just talking about Jennifer Beals it's her birthday,
- 44:37Speaker 1: and how she starred in one of the eighties classics,
- 44:39Speaker 1: flash Dance, where she played Alex Owens, a steel worker
- 44:44Speaker 1: by day and that's stripper by night.
- 44:50Speaker 2: And Trey, I think you do.
- 44:52Speaker 1: You did bring up a really solid point in the
- 44:54Speaker 1: break there about about the eighties and why it made
- 44:58Speaker 1: such a great decade before Hollywood Manimal, You're right, Okay,
- 45:06Speaker 1: the eighties was a drug addle decade where you could
- 45:09Speaker 1: get pretty much anything on TV or in in the movies,
- 45:15Speaker 1: Because if you think about it, just think about the
- 45:18Speaker 1: pitches that had to happen to get these things done
- 45:21Speaker 1: like that. Like like manimal, m what does that pitch
- 45:26Speaker 1: sound like when you walk in? Because it's got to
- 45:27Speaker 1: be a short one, it's got to be quick. So
- 45:29Speaker 1: what do you tell them? Eight balls over there? Eight
- 45:36Speaker 1: ball and looser over there. Now here's the person. Yeah,
- 45:40Speaker 1: sign this the guy.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Cast with a magic spell and he could turn into
- 45:47Speaker 3: a cat or a bird. And there was something else
- 45:50Speaker 3: and I don't remember.
- 45:52Speaker 4: It's a dog. I think was the dog?
- 45:54Speaker 3: Right?
- 45:55Speaker 4: I mean, how do you sell? Okay, there's a talking car.
- 46:03Speaker 4: So Michael Knight is a man who does not exist,
- 46:06Speaker 4: got it?
- 46:06Speaker 3: Okay?
- 46:07Speaker 5: Just sign.
- 46:07Speaker 4: Here's this great idea called alf This's an alien who
- 46:13Speaker 4: lives with these people, but he likes to eat cats.
- 46:15Speaker 4: Sign here please.
- 46:17Speaker 3: The Dukes of Hazard at least had some basis of reality.
- 46:20Speaker 3: A couple of rednecks in a car.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Yeah, pretty quick.
- 46:29Speaker 1: With a hot cousin, and maybe after a little bit
- 46:34Speaker 1: too much moonshine one evening, the family lines get a
- 46:38Speaker 1: little blurred, uh huh, and then your old quote unquote
- 46:45Speaker 1: Uncle Jesse shows up to shut it down.
- 46:50Speaker 2: See it really was the eighties. Really was the cocaine
- 46:54Speaker 2: fueled hey day of Hollywood.
- 46:57Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that's the only way those shows were
- 47:00Speaker 4: getting on the air is by somebody being impaired the
- 47:04Speaker 4: whole time, like, you can't you can't be sober and
- 47:07Speaker 4: put something like that on TV.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Well, I'll give you the quick IMDb synopsis for Manimal,
- 47:14Speaker 1: a suave and elegant university professor who can shape shift
- 47:18Speaker 1: into any animal, fights crime, along with a female New
- 47:21Speaker 1: York detective and his right hand man.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Sold how much. Who is the star of that show?
- 47:41Speaker 2: Jonathan Chase? Okay, Jonathan Chase.
- 47:44Speaker 1: He's one of those guys if you may not know
- 47:46Speaker 1: him by name, but if you saw his face, he'd
- 47:48Speaker 1: be like, oh yeah, that guy.
- 47:49Speaker 3: Yeah, that's why that was his one lead and everything else.
- 47:55Speaker 3: He's just one of those character actors that you've seen
- 47:58Speaker 3: a bunch of times.
- 47:59Speaker 1: He's one of those that was probably in two or
- 48:01Speaker 1: three Emmanuel movies.
- 48:03Speaker 4: Oh god, it was from Manimal to Emmanuel.
- 48:14Speaker 2: No, no, no, Emanuel. He didn't go to em Manuel loose.
- 48:18Speaker 2: He wasn't.
- 48:18Speaker 1: He wasn't good enough to be on Webster, which that's
- 48:23Speaker 1: another eighties brain child.
- 48:25Speaker 2: White family adopts little cute black kid. Hilarity ensues. Yes,
- 48:37Speaker 2: it was.
- 48:38Speaker 4: A different Strokes rip off.
- 48:40Speaker 2: It was I left.
- 48:43Speaker 1: Oh yeah no, but see, but see I left out
- 48:45Speaker 1: the most important part about Webster, and that was white
- 48:50Speaker 1: couple adopts cute little black boy, keeps him, keeps him
- 48:56Speaker 1: in a dumb waiter inside the house.
- 49:01Speaker 4: How much. But if you watch the beginning of Different Strokes,
- 49:07Speaker 4: he just takes them off the basketball court. He just
- 49:10Speaker 4: takes them.
- 49:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right, yeah, yeah, the beginning of Different Strokes
- 49:14Speaker 1: just looks like a kidnapping.
- 49:16Speaker 4: It's a kidnapping. He just has a lot of money,
- 49:21Speaker 4: and they're like, cool, we'll stay.
- 49:22Speaker 2: He's rich wide he can keep them.
- 49:26Speaker 4: He pulled it up in a limousine and takes them
- 49:28Speaker 4: off the basketball Yeah.
- 49:30Speaker 1: The other for some great Pouponts. Guy's taking black kids
- 49:33Speaker 1: from their homes.
- 49:37Speaker 3: They're probably on their second line. When they're pitching silver spoons.
- 49:39Speaker 3: They're like, and get this, he'll have a black friend.
- 49:55Speaker 2: Oh god, I really do love the eighties.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Don't make them like that anymore, that's for sure, all right,
