- 0:07Dayna Roselli: Find out how to have your own Mardi Gras parade any time of the year.
- 0:12Sean McAllister: And we're a city of winners.
- 0:14Sean McAllister: The Las Vegas Aces add another championship title to our city's sports accolades.
- 0:20Dayna Roselli: You too, and Christina Aguilera add shows.
- 0:23Sean McAllister: Plus.
- 0:24Sean McAllister: Even before opening, fountain Blue is gearing up for its inaugural New Year's Eve bash.
- 0:30Dayna Roselli: All that and more coming up this week on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:33Sean McAllister: Let's spin that wheel.
- 0:42Dayna Roselli: Welcome everyone to episode 192 of Vegas Revealed.
- 0:46Dayna Roselli: I'm Dayna Roselli, along with Sean McAllister and gosh.
- 0:50Dayna Roselli: It's the last weekend of October and we've got a lot of information to get through.
- 0:54Dayna Roselli: We are actually shooting this a little bit early because we are out of town, we're in Hawaii, but we wanted to go through a bunch of different stuff coming up, because I feel like we always say this it's so busy in Las Vegas, but literally it is so busy in Las Vegas that we could probably double this podcast and then triple it and still have stuff to talk about.
- 1:15Dayna Roselli: I mean, it is, it's absolutely packed.
- 1:17Sean McAllister: And we do want to start with a big congratulations to the Las Vegas Aces.
- 1:22Sean McAllister: Now, by the time you're listening to this, their championship win for the WNBA their once again WNBA champions is a couple weeks old.
- 1:33Sean McAllister: But we can't let another episode go by without congratulating the Las Vegas Aces.
- 1:40Sean McAllister: And they returned here on the night of their championship win.
- 1:45Sean McAllister: It was kind of cool.
- 1:45Sean McAllister: Their plane returned to Harry Reid International Airport and they had like the water cannons going as the plane taxied into the gate.
- 1:56Sean McAllister: And it's just so exciting that, being a relatively new sports city, that we've already racked up two WNBA championship wins plus a Stanley Cup win from the Vegas Golden Knights, and we're really rooting for the Raiders.
- 2:19Dayna Roselli: I don't know how that's going to go this season Right, and even if that doesn't happen, we're still getting the Super Bowl.
- 2:24Dayna Roselli: So it's kind of like two WNBA champions, and then the Stanley Cup, and then we're getting the Super Bowl.
- 2:31Dayna Roselli: I mean it's a pretty big year.
- 2:33Sean McAllister: Well, we'll see a Super Bowl champion crowned, plus we'll see an F1 champion crowned at the end of that race.
- 2:41Sean McAllister: So it is, I mean it's an exciting time.
- 2:45Dayna Roselli: There's a lot going on.
- 2:45Dayna Roselli: So, yeah, congratulations to the team.
- 2:48Dayna Roselli: We love it.
- 2:49Dayna Roselli: We're so happy and you know I love that.
- 2:52Dayna Roselli: People are following the team, following women's basketball a little bit more.
- 2:57Dayna Roselli: Like you know, they're having games over at T-Mobile, not just at Mandalay Bay when they were in the championship.
- 3:02Sean McAllister: And selling out.
- 3:03Dayna Roselli: Yeah, the championships and the playoffs and stuff like that and fill in the arena, like you said.
- 3:07Dayna Roselli: So it's really cool.
- 3:08Dayna Roselli: So congratulations to them again.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: A little delayed, but we wanted to make sure that we put that out there because the last podcast we actually recorded they won the next day.
- 3:17Sean McAllister: Yeah, so timing is everything, it's everything.
- 3:20Sean McAllister: Hey, we want to thank our sponsors, who are always supporting Vegas Revealed.
- 3:26Sean McAllister: We want to thank Hot Works Infrared Fitness Studios.
- 3:29Sean McAllister: This is the time of year when it might be a good idea to go and get some of that infrared therapy.
- 3:37Dayna Roselli: What was I telling you yesterday?
- 3:38Dayna Roselli: I was like oh, we've had two night events and I'm like I can't get to hot works and I'm craving it like I'm obsessed.
- 3:45Dayna Roselli: It really does make you feel good.
- 3:47Sean McAllister: So it doesn't.
- 3:48Sean McAllister: It can help boost your serotonin levels, which, when we have shortening daylight hours, you need that extra boost you really do.
- 3:57Dayna Roselli: So thank you so much for sponsoring the podcast.
- 3:59Dayna Roselli: I love talking about it because I remember we went to them and said well, you sponsored the podcast, the reason being I was already going there and already enjoying it and we'd like to talk about and have partnerships with, with things that we love.
- 4:11Sean McAllister: Yeah, yeah, also uh Vegas near me.
- 4:14Sean McAllister: It's a free app available for your uh apple device or android.
- 4:19Sean McAllister: It's really a concierge in your pocket.
- 4:22Sean McAllister: Last week we talked about how you can just search kids activities and it will come up with a list of every single family friendly activity that you can find in Las Vegas.
- 4:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, really.
- 4:36Dayna Roselli: It's just.
- 4:37Dayna Roselli: It's so easy and we're learning more and more things that you can do with it as time goes on.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: So just download it.
- 4:42Dayna Roselli: It's free.
- 4:42Dayna Roselli: Again, you don't have to put in your email your name, no username.
- 4:45Dayna Roselli: It's great.
- 4:45Dayna Roselli: So I love that part about it, because I'm so tired of putting in passwords.
- 4:49Dayna Roselli: I know you know, I just got a new phone and it's like I got to sign into everything, but when I hit Vegas near me, it just popped right up.
- 4:56Sean McAllister: It's the beauty of it.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 4:57Sean McAllister: It is.
- 4:58Sean McAllister: It's great.
- 4:58Sean McAllister: Also, thank you to our listeners who have sponsored the Vegas Revealed podcast.
- 5:05Sean McAllister: We have a link down in our show notes.
- 5:07Sean McAllister: If you would like to help us out as well, you can start with just a $3 a month subscription.
- 5:16Dayna Roselli: It's like a contribution to help us.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: You know, put time in to cover things.
- 5:19Dayna Roselli: We were up late last night, you know, at an event that was surrounding F1, and then you know back this morning doing a segment, you know, as the hosts of Vegas Revealed in Los Angeles, and then now recording a podcast.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: So it does take up time and then we have a business to run on top of that.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: So we appreciate all those subscribers.
- 5:39Dayna Roselli: It really does help us keep things moving, keep us motivated to keep doing this for you every week.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, absolutely.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: Thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 5:46Dayna Roselli: All right, we got to run down of stuff, don't we Lots of?
- 5:48Sean McAllister: entertainment news.
- 5:49Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 5:50Dayna Roselli: Just out today, u2 is adding more dates.
- 5:52Dayna Roselli: I don't know if I saw that coming.
- 5:54Dayna Roselli: I kind of thought they would do their 25 and then move on.
- 5:57Dayna Roselli: I don't know why, just because you know U2, they've been around a long time class, you know but I think they're having so much fun and they're realizing how more and more people as I think, as word spreads, there are more and more people who want to come see U2 with the sphere and see what they're seeing in all these images and social media posts, and want to be a part of it.
- 6:16Dayna Roselli: And they're like you know what?
- 6:17Dayna Roselli: Let's do it, let's provide.
- 6:19Sean McAllister: Well, and that's the thing, I think social media has been a huge driver behind the demand that we are undoubtedly going to see for all of these added shows in 2024.
- 6:33Sean McAllister: Because you do.
- 6:33Sean McAllister: You see these pictures and videos of U2's performance inside the sphere and you're like, oh my gosh, that is just Right.
- 6:42Sean McAllister: You see it and say, I really want to experience that for myself.
- 6:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, definitely.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: I mean they are definitely not pulling a Miranda Lambert, they want the social media out there, yeah, phones are allowed.
- 6:58Dayna Roselli: It's selling, it's selling it's selling U2 has added what They've added dates in January and February and 11 dates, so that's a lot of different shows for people to choose from and get that on the calendar as we come up into the new year.
- 7:16Sean McAllister: Yeah, and U2 certainly has a good gig over there.
- 7:20Sean McAllister: Reportedly they're making like $4 million per show, regardless of the attendance inside the sphere, which it's been very well attended.
- 7:30Dayna Roselli: I would do 11 more shows if I were them to.
- 7:32Sean McAllister: I would do shows forever if that was the payday, my God.
- 7:38Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, could you imagine?
- 7:40Dayna Roselli: Well, they put in a lot of work and they're good, they're icons, they're rock icons.
- 7:45Dayna Roselli: Speaking of the sphere, okay, listen, remember, when we did the special on the sphere, I told you that I chose event parking at the Palazzo and then walked to the sphere and it was 30 bucks.
- 7:58Dayna Roselli: And when you go in, just flat fee for everyone entering the garage.
- 8:02Dayna Roselli: When you exit, it was easy just to get out and keep the traffic flowing.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: Well, that applies whenever there is a show at the sphere, like a concert.
- 8:14Dayna Roselli: You too, right now, it's you too right, whoever it's going to be.
- 8:17Dayna Roselli: And we learned the other night when we went to a dinner it was an F1 related dinner over at Lavo that if you go in and you're not going to the sphere, no matter what, you're paying the $30 event parking.
- 8:33Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 8:34Sean McAllister: So the big thing that you need to be aware of is the concert schedule at the sphere, which, when we were going over, we were in a single lane frame of mind.
- 8:47Sean McAllister: We were going over specifically for this dinner and didn't even think about the fact that there could be, on a Wednesday night, a concert happening over at the sphere that would put that $30 parking fee into effect, and so when we got there, we were a little surprised by that.
- 9:06Dayna Roselli: So it's kind of there was no turning around either.
- 9:09Sean McAllister: We were no, once you're in, you're in especially with the way the traffic is there on Sands Avenue.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: So this is our warning to you just be aware, if you plan on going to Venetian or Palazzo and you're planning to park, be aware of the concert schedule over there at the sphere, because that is going to impact your stay.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and people say, oh, poor you, you were going to a F1 dinner and it's like, but it is work for us.
- 9:38Dayna Roselli: It was a late dinner.
- 9:39Dayna Roselli: We actually had a segment in the morning the next day and we were, if we should we go, we should go and learn about this, but it's work for us and we probably would have driven together to save some money, right, exactly.
- 9:50Dayna Roselli: So we spent $60 on parking to go learn about something to cover for the podcast that we don't necessarily make any money on.
- 10:01Dayna Roselli: So it's like it's frustrating for sure.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: Anyway, we went and talked to the concierge guy and he was like we were telling him the story and he was like, because they said, if you're a Grazi member, and I was like, do you have to be a big gambler?
- 10:12Dayna Roselli: Or like, gamble a certain amount?
- 10:14Dayna Roselli: And they were saying, yes, you do.
- 10:16Sean McAllister: So it's not like you can just go get the like the Venetian property gaming card, not the entry level you have to be like a certain tier level in their Grazi rewards program in order to get the free parking or if you're a hotel guest.
- 10:33Dayna Roselli: Well, and he said, well, you're a local, so that should be fine.
- 10:35Dayna Roselli: Like, no, not so.
- 10:36Dayna Roselli: So we that's what we thought we were going there because we figured we'd be there for three hours to show our Nevada ID and park for free, cause that's the new rules.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: But he was saying, but you're local, he didn't even know.
- 10:45Dayna Roselli: And I said, I know, but it doesn't count on, apparently, event nights, it's $30, no matter what.
- 10:50Dayna Roselli: And he was even like really, yeah, the concierge.
- 10:53Sean McAllister: He kind of shook his head.
- 10:54Sean McAllister: He was like oh, it's ridiculous, sorry that, that's the way you were welcome to the property, yeah.
- 11:00Dayna Roselli: So, anyway, frustrating, and a heads up Look at the U2 calendar and then whatever other acts are coming, you know when there's concerts and there's events at the sphere.
- 11:07Dayna Roselli: Keep that in mind.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: Don't park at the Venetian in Palazzo if you're going there for something else, unless you're okay with paying $30.
- 11:14Dayna Roselli: Lots of spots, though, in the garage.
- 11:17Sean McAllister: There were tons of spots, got in exactly where we wanted to park.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: All right, so let's whiz through some other stuff.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: I wanted to mention our tip last week on the monorail.
- 11:26Dayna Roselli: Buying the monorail ticket can get you some show and attraction discounts.
- 11:30Dayna Roselli: Sean actually utilize that and so we wanted to pass that on.
- 11:34Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's the show your ticket and save promotion.
- 11:37Sean McAllister: If you book a ticket on the monorail and either show your ticket at the box office or if you book online, in your ticket confirmation email there's a link that you go to that brings you to all of the attractions and shows that are participating, and then you just click the book it link.
- 11:58Sean McAllister: That's on there, and I did this.
- 11:59Sean McAllister: We have my in-laws are coming into town, so I got tickets for Donny Osmond Great and so the deal applies to certain tickets.
- 12:10Sean McAllister: Okay, inside the theaters for all these shows, but the tickets that we ended up getting were originally $70 tickets.
- 12:19Sean McAllister: We were getting four tickets, but through the deal they ended up being $49 tickets.
- 12:25Dayna Roselli: Okay, good, and that's a big savings when you're getting multiple tickets.
- 12:30Sean McAllister: So just want you to be aware that we do use our own tips as well, yes, we do, and it's perfect because the Montereyale goes right to Harrah's.
- 12:38Sean McAllister: It doesn't.
- 12:39Sean McAllister: I think that's exactly how we're going to get there Park at the Westgate for free.
- 12:43Dayna Roselli: You'll take the in-laws right by the sphere to see the sphere up close.
- 12:47Dayna Roselli: Get it Harrah's.
- 12:48Dayna Roselli: Go see Donny.
- 12:49Dayna Roselli: Save $200.
- 12:51Dayna Roselli: After you do all the taxes and fees and everything, he probably saved you like $200.
- 12:55Sean McAllister: Yeah, it did Something like that.
- 12:56Sean McAllister: Yeah, so next episode, I'll let you know how Donnie was.
- 12:58Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 12:58Dayna Roselli: So we love Donny.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: We've been to his show before, always fun.
- 13:01Dayna Roselli: Hey, I thought this was interesting.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: Bourbon Parade is now open at the Bazaar Shops right in front of the Horseshoe Las Vegas, the former Baileys and I love this.
- 13:10Dayna Roselli: It's a New Orleans kind of themed bar.
- 13:12Dayna Roselli: But, sean, here's.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: What's really cool is they're doing parades every 90 minutes.
- 13:18Dayna Roselli: That's so fun and so it's like a full parade and they come by.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: How fun is that gonna be?
- 13:24Dayna Roselli: So I'm excited to go check this out.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: Bourbon Parade opened on the 19th of October, so it's now open Mardi Gras, february 13th.
- 13:32Dayna Roselli: Keep that in mind.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: But you can have Mardi Gras every day around, and then you can go on the website and book your own parade.
- 13:38Dayna Roselli: So if you have like a birthday, a wedding, they were saying even like a divorce party or, you know, bachelorette, you can book a parade that's like tailored to you.
- 13:47Dayna Roselli: So I don't know if they'll like say your name or like what they'll do.
- 13:51Sean McAllister: I have a feeling you'll probably be included in the parade.
- 13:54Dayna Roselli: Could be, so it's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 13:56Dayna Roselli: How do people think of that?
- 13:58Dayna Roselli: I'm like that is such a great idea.
- 14:00Sean McAllister: You know what?
- 14:00Sean McAllister: Remember back in the Rio's heyday, when they had the parade in the sky.
- 14:06Dayna Roselli: All those floats that went around the inside.
- 14:08Sean McAllister: people always stopped what they were, they stopped gambling, they stopped walking.
- 14:12Sean McAllister: They were throwing beads from those floats and people were super into that.
- 14:17Sean McAllister: So I feel like this is bringing back that atmosphere that was so much fun.
- 14:24Sean McAllister: There's so much foot traffic down there in those grand bazaar shops in front of Horseshoe as well, so I think that it will.
- 14:31Sean McAllister: People will hear the parade happening and be like I wanna see what's going on over there.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: Oh yeah and be a part of that, and so apparently this bar complimentary admission just have to be 21 and over, but so it sounds like it's gonna be a new hotspot.
- 14:43Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 14:44Dayna Roselli: So excited for Bourbon Parade Now open over there in front of the Horseshoe.
- 14:48Dayna Roselli: Hey, speaking of open and new openings, we know that the Fountain Blue is opening December 13th.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: We told you that, but we do know now like concrete information.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: I think we mentioned that we heard Post Malone was gonna be kicking off New Year's Eve there, but that's now confirmed.
- 15:05Dayna Roselli: So Post Malone will be doing two shows December 30th and 31st over at the Fountain Blue, las Vegas.
- 15:10Dayna Roselli: The images that have been coming out and sneaky little videos and pictures it looks gorgeous inside.
- 15:16Sean McAllister: It looks so classy but fun.
- 15:19Sean McAllister: Also, they've been putting grand opening teaser videos up on the video screen just recently on the side of Fountain Blue, near the strip, and it looks like it really is going to be, like I said, classy but not stuffy and not taking itself too seriously.
- 15:40Sean McAllister: So it really, I think, is going to be a great addition to the North end of the strip once it opens mid December.
- 15:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean listen.
- 15:47Dayna Roselli: You know I live across from it and I've seen more and more lights on every single night.
- 15:51Dayna Roselli: Yesterday I saw the valet front loop or whatever the side loop all the lights were on and the overhang and I was like, oh my gosh, more lights.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: I get so excited.
- 15:59Sean McAllister: It is.
- 15:59Dayna Roselli: It's been such a long time.
- 16:00Dayna Roselli: So we're excited for the Fontainebleau to open.
- 16:02Dayna Roselli: Post Malone there's packages, by the way.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: For that weekend you can get like a room for two nights, see Post Malone, get a food credit.
- 16:09Dayna Roselli: So go on the Fountain Blue website to book that.
- 16:12Dayna Roselli: I have a feeling once the tickets go on sale which they probably are already by the time this rolls could be a quick sell out.
- 16:19Sean McAllister: Oh, for sure yeah without a doubt In a brand new theater.
- 16:22Sean McAllister: Well, another New Year's Eve performer that we mentioned before is Christina Aguilera, over at Voltaire, the new cabaret style venue over inside the Venetian and Palazzo, and, as we mentioned before, christina was going to be adding even more dates at Voltaire, and we now have those dates.
- 16:43Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we're excited that she's gonna be there for more than just New Year's Eve weekend, so she'll be doing the 30th and 31st.
- 16:49Dayna Roselli: Like Post Malone, she'll also be doing January 5th, 6th, february 2nd, 3rd, 9th, 10th and March 1st and 2nd.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: If you wanna go see Christina at Voltaire I know I saw her at Planet Hollywood, I think you did too right Absolutely when she was there and you know the show was good, but we everyone that was kind of sitting there was like you know what.
- 17:07Dayna Roselli: She kind of just needs to do her own thing.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: I just wanna hear her sing, just cause she had such a big stage and it was trying.
- 17:13Dayna Roselli: There was a lot of production going on.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: It's like she didn't need it.
- 17:16Dayna Roselli: She's so good.
- 17:17Sean McAllister: No, she doesn't.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: And since this is a smaller, more intimate venue, I wonder what she'll do.
- 17:20Dayna Roselli: I mean, I'm sure there'll be a lot of like pomp and circumstance and that kind of thing, but she won't have to fill that big, big stage and I think this is really gonna highlight her.
- 17:28Sean McAllister: Well, and I think being kind of a cabaret style venue suits her incredibly well too.
- 17:37Sean McAllister: I think she'll have a lot of fun with that.
- 17:38Sean McAllister: I know she was just recently on TV with Jimmy Kimmel and she was talking about the show and how she's never had such an intimate performance before a thousand people inside of that theater.
- 17:52Sean McAllister: But it really is an intimate experience where she's up close and will be interacting with fans.
- 17:58Sean McAllister: But she also said she's not going on to midnight.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she did say that and everyone's like what?
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: Because it says like doors open at like nine or nine thirty I think it's nine thirty but they, the whole thing is an experience.
- 18:09Dayna Roselli: So there's going to be DJs and it's like a you know, it's like a night out and apparently her portion, or when she'll start, according to what she said on Jimmy Kimmel's midnight.
- 18:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, I think nine, thirty, nine, forty five is when the entertainment leading up to Christina starts.
- 18:25Sean McAllister: Yeah, and then you will have to wait till the stroke of midnight.
- 18:29Sean McAllister: But you know what it'll be fun, it's an experience and if you're going, you're all in right.
- 18:35Dayna Roselli: I mean, you just make it work right.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: It's going to be a fun night out and it'll lead into the morning.
- 18:39Sean McAllister: And hey, one thing we did want to mention also is BravoCon is coming to Las Vegas for the very first time.
- 18:48Sean McAllister: It's being transplanted from its home on the east coast and a lot of the events are sold out.
- 18:54Sean McAllister: The convention itself is sold out.
- 18:57Sean McAllister: Bravo liberties are going to be here.
- 19:00Sean McAllister: The cast members from you know Bravo's most popular shows and the fans of those shows are very much fans, yeah, and they're excited to get up close and personal to the people they watch on TV.
- 19:14Dayna Roselli: And just in case you don't know what we're talking about, because I didn't at the beginning with this, I like I do not watch Housewives, I do not watch any of it.
- 19:21Dayna Roselli: I am not a Bravo.
- 19:22Dayna Roselli: I don't watch Bravo at all, not like on purpose, I just don't.
- 19:26Sean McAllister: I don't know, never gotten on, you know kind of on the way deck or the real Housewives or Vanderpump.
- 19:31Dayna Roselli: I've never seen a real Housewives in my life.
- 19:33Dayna Roselli: How?
- 19:33Sean McAllister: about that, I know.
- 19:35Dayna Roselli: So I did.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: Bravocon is like all these shows that are on Bravo are coming in for this big convention.
- 19:40Dayna Roselli: They sold out immediately.
- 19:42Dayna Roselli: There are fanatics.
- 19:43Dayna Roselli: People are super excited about it.
- 19:44Dayna Roselli: I went to the website.
- 19:46Dayna Roselli: So it's the what, the third and fourth.
- 19:48Sean McAllister: I think it's the first weekend of the first weekend in November.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: Everything's sold out, but there are a few things that are still open and up for sale, and that is Andy Cohen is doing his live show in the Paris Theater and some nights I think there was a Sunday night he was doing two, one at six and one at nine.
- 20:05Dayna Roselli: Ok, tickets are still on sale for that.
- 20:07Dayna Roselli: If you want to go see that, and they were saying like there's going to be all sorts of surprises, I'm sure tons of cast members from different shows are going to pop in.
- 20:14Dayna Roselli: And then there was also an evening out at Omnia night club that still had tickets on sale as well.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: I think I looked up it was like four hundred and forty nine dollars for the night, but apparently, you know it's a big night out with all the Bravo stars, so could be fun.
- 20:29Sean McAllister: So BravoCon happening that first weekend of November over at the Caesar's Forum that's their big convention hall, with some other events happening at Paris, las Vegas and over at Caesar's Palace.
- 20:42Dayna Roselli: And Sean.
- 20:43Dayna Roselli: I know people love their Bad Bunny.
- 20:46Sean McAllister: A Bad Bunny has been.
- 20:46Sean McAllister: He's been all over the place lately and headlines people have been posting about Bad Bunny, and now Vegas is getting some Bad Bunny too.
- 20:56Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 20:56Dayna Roselli: He's gonna be back here in Las Vegas performing February 23rd and Saturday, february 24th over at T-Mobile Arena.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: He's on tour.
- 21:06Dayna Roselli: It's his 31 city North American Arena tour and it's stopping in Las Vegas for two nights.
- 21:10Dayna Roselli: I know those tickets will sell quick.
- 21:12Dayna Roselli: We're happy to have Bad Bunny back in Las Vegas.
- 21:16Sean McAllister: And we're also happy that Cirque du Soleil has had such a long run of shows here in Las Vegas.
- 21:22Sean McAllister: We talked last week about the 25th anniversary of O over at Bellagio, but it's also the 30th anniversary of Cirque du Soleil here in Las Vegas and they are putting out a locals ticket deal as part of the celebration, offering up to 30% off of their Cirque shows.
- 21:42Sean McAllister: Some of the shows oh, and I believe Michael Jackson won are 15% off, but a lot of the show is 30% off the ticket price.
- 21:51Dayna Roselli: All the other ones.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's a great deal.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: It is a great deal.
- 21:53Dayna Roselli: So if you are Las Vegas local and you listen to the podcast, take advantage of that deal.
- 21:57Dayna Roselli: Go get some tickets.
- 21:58Dayna Roselli: I'll put the link in our show notes and you can just click on that.
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: All right?
- 22:02Dayna Roselli: Well, that brings us to.
- 22:04Dayna Roselli: That was a great tip, but we have more tips for you, so let's do it.
- 22:07Dayna Roselli: Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: Well, sean, I've been holding off on this tip as long as I could because I don't really want people to know about my nail place.
- 22:21Sean McAllister: Because it's a hidden gem.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: But I do feel like I want them to be busy, and not that they're not, because I'll go in there and sometimes it's hoppin, other times it's a little slow, but it's just so great because, see, I live kind of near the strip right.
- 22:33Sean McAllister: Right.
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: And so it's hard to find a place to get an affordable manicure and pedicure, so I feel like not a lot of people know about this place.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: I'm so glad I found it, cause I used to have to drive really far, like to get away from it all the high prices.
- 22:46Sean McAllister: Right, and this is a tip you shared when my sister was in town.
- 22:48Sean McAllister: She's like I want to get a manicure and pedicure.
- 22:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so it's called Eden Nails.
- 22:52Dayna Roselli: It's on paradise and that's somewhere in between will be like Sands and Flamingo.
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: So there's a plaza off to the left where there's Cleaver Steakhouse, there's a city bank, there's a couple of restaurants in there, tacos and beer.
- 23:07Dayna Roselli: It's a great plaza and Eden Nails there.
- 23:09Dayna Roselli: And I just want to let everyone know about it, Cause I do feel like if you are coming into town or you're a Las Vegas local really, but if visitors, often maybe they have a wedding party or they're having an event or a bachelor at party and you all want to get your nails done and you want to get a pedicure, but it's tough because you have to go somewhere near the strip or in a strip casino hotel and it's very expensive.
- 23:30Dayna Roselli: I mean, they can be like a regular manicure, can be like 70 bucks at some of these places, which is like you're just doing my nails.
- 23:36Sean McAllister: Right, and even if you're out at the pool and you get a chip and you want to have them done before dinner or something like that.
- 23:44Dayna Roselli: So Eden Nails.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: I get an acrylic nail and regular nail polish and it's 25 bucks Great.
- 23:51Dayna Roselli: And then I get a regular pedicure and it's 30.
- 23:53Dayna Roselli: So it's so affordable.
- 23:55Dayna Roselli: And you know that's come up with inflation.
- 23:57Dayna Roselli: They used to be even cheaper, but everything's come up with inflation.
- 24:00Dayna Roselli: Great people I haven't really had a bad person do my nails.
- 24:04Dayna Roselli: I love the staff over there.
- 24:05Dayna Roselli: They're friendly, they're nice, they're appreciative, they have little bottles of water for you.
- 24:09Dayna Roselli: Just really great place.
- 24:11Dayna Roselli: And again, if you're looking for somewhere near the strip, I recommend Eden Nails.
- 24:15Dayna Roselli: You can look it right up in the maps.
- 24:17Dayna Roselli: Call ahead, book an appointment, though just to make sure, because sometimes people do end up waiting if there's like a big rush.
- 24:23Sean McAllister: Yeah, but again, super close proximity to the strip, short Uber ride or taxi ride or a drive if you bring in your own car too.
- 24:31Sean McAllister: Yeah, good tip.
- 24:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, thanks, hey, and I hate to have you talk about your tip while you're fasting and you're hungry, oh my gosh, because you have to wait till one o'clock to eat.
- 24:39Dayna Roselli: So Sean's got one more hour to go and I'm making him talk about his favorite sandwich shop.
- 24:43Dayna Roselli: Well, listen.
- 24:45Sean McAllister: It's been making my stomach grumble thinking about it, because so this is a sandwich shop that has two locations.
- 24:52Sean McAllister: They're both on the east side, so not really close to the strip but totally worth the drive off of the strip.
- 25:00Sean McAllister: It's a great harvest bread company and they have some of the best sandwiches.
- 25:07Sean McAllister: They have a menu of sandwiches, but they also let you create your own, and the sandwich that I love it's on honey, whole wheat bread with basil, mayo, turkey, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers, pickles, banana peppers I love those.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: And sometimes lettuce and sometimes sprouts oh my gosh.
- 25:31Sean McAllister: And the turkey is piled so high.
- 25:34Sean McAllister: Sometimes when Shane, my husband, and I go over there for lunch, we'll even just split the sandwich, because one half is like a good lunch.
- 25:42Sean McAllister: If you have the full sandwich, you're good for a long time.
- 25:46Sean McAllister: So there's one on Mark Street in Henderson.
- 25:51Sean McAllister: There's also one on Horizon Ridge Parkway.
- 25:54Sean McAllister: So look up Great Harvest Bread Company.
- 25:56Sean McAllister: They have fresh bread that they make every single day.
- 26:00Sean McAllister: They have cookies and other sweet treats.
- 26:04Sean McAllister: They also have mixes that you can get that are great for gifts, you know, especially with the holidays coming up, that's a great stocking stuffer.
- 26:14Sean McAllister: So Great Harvest Bread Company, look them up.
- 26:17Sean McAllister: Look up their locations here in Las Vegas.
- 26:19Sean McAllister: You will not be disappointed if you stop over there for lunch dinner to pick up some bread.
- 26:25Sean McAllister: They have free samples too.
- 26:26Dayna Roselli: Okay, love it.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: Yeah, because we've been thinking about, like, let's do some tips, that things we do where we're not like doing an event or going to, or don't notice when we're on our way to something.
- 26:34Dayna Roselli: Let's do something we actually use every day.
- 26:36Dayna Roselli: So Eden Nails and Harvest Great Harvest Bread Company Great Harvest Bread Company.
- 26:41Dayna Roselli: Okay, two of our tips this week.
- 26:42Dayna Roselli: We need to wrap it up, but thank you to our sponsors, thank you to our subscribers, and we'll let you know how Hawaii was when we get back.
- 26:50Sean McAllister: Yeah, and also we have a little preview of what to expect from the Formula One race, what you can expect at the finish line.
- 26:58Sean McAllister: That's coming up next week as well.
- 27:01Dayna Roselli: Thank you, Bye.
- 27:02Dayna Roselli: Thank you To write an insert.
- 27:04Dayna Roselli: We got bills to pay.
- 27:06Sean McAllister: We're talking up a suitcase.
- 27:08Sean McAllister: Let's take a holiday.
