- 0:01Speaker 1: The plays in Confused. Podcast is rated M for marijuana
- 0:04Speaker 1: no miners. But your audience is only that seems like
- 0:08Speaker 1: a drag, doesn't it. Wearing ear plugs, Yeah, I don't
- 0:11Speaker 1: want to do that. Who wants to wear earplugs?
- 0:13Speaker 2: You know?
- 0:13Speaker 1: People wear earplugs a lot now though, Like you go
- 0:15Speaker 1: to a concert, you see a lot of people that
- 0:16Speaker 1: haven't popped in. I guess we care about our ear
- 0:18Speaker 1: health now, care about everything now? Yeah, bikers wear your plugs?
- 0:22Speaker 3: Now? Do you wear your You rode your bike here,
- 0:25Speaker 3: did you? I did not wear your plugs, but I
- 0:26Speaker 3: have some in my pocket. Yeah, but I have a
- 0:29Speaker 3: helmet that has a noise canceling and we mean like
- 0:33Speaker 3: a real but we mean a motorcycle, not a bicycle.
- 0:35Speaker 1: Bicycle. Yeah. Yeah.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Its name is Richard Stinger. Oh you can call it
- 0:39Speaker 3: Dick for short. I wrote Dick for forty five minutes.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Sometimes people read Dick with me, but I could write
- 0:48Speaker 3: Dick for hours.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I used to think that I wanted a motorcycle, and
- 0:52Speaker 1: now the older I get, I don't think I want
- 0:54Speaker 1: a motorcycle anymore. I don't know.
- 0:55Speaker 3: I'm I'm forty six years old, and this is the
- 0:58Speaker 3: first motorcycle I've had since I was.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Like twenty five.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Yeah, but like, and you know why, because this summer
- 1:05Speaker 3: after I just beat a really bad disease and almost died,
- 1:09Speaker 3: and so this summer I got this thing in my
- 1:11Speaker 3: head where I wanted to learn how to build a motorcycle.
- 1:13Speaker 3: So I actually built my motorcycle. Who yeah, with my
- 1:17Speaker 3: own hands over the course of the summer. Oh good
- 1:19Speaker 3: for you, man. And so it takes on a different
- 1:20Speaker 3: meaning for you when you're riding something that you.
- 1:23Speaker 1: How many YouTube videos did you watch to learn how
- 1:25Speaker 1: to build a bike? Like? Many?
- 1:26Speaker 3: Many many? Hammer On Dan from Idaho, good guy.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I ever heard of him? He's the bike builder guy,
- 1:32Speaker 1: bike guy? Wow? Wow? Yeah, I don't know. I used
- 1:35Speaker 1: to think. I used to tell everybody growing up that
- 1:37Speaker 1: I wanted a motorcycle, and then I had the opportunity
- 1:39Speaker 1: to try it one time and it was horrifying. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: never again will I be getting on a motorcycle. Isaiah.
- 1:47Speaker 3: It takes a while to makes you think you're a
- 1:48Speaker 3: motorcycle guy.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I think I need four wheels, two of them.
- 1:52Speaker 3: Is Yeah, he's a motorcycle guy. You could ride a motorcycle.
- 1:58Speaker 3: We'll get you one with a side cards like having anywheel. Actually,
- 2:01Speaker 3: all the old guys now hride tricycles. That's like, yeah,
- 2:04Speaker 3: I see those.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Yeah yeah. You never see somebody young on one of
- 2:07Speaker 1: those a motorcycle with wheel, not often, no, no, yeah,
- 2:11Speaker 1: it's the truth. Now here's how wrong.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I think the older you are, the bigger your bike gets.
- 2:15Speaker 3: But I like a tiny little mine looks like a
- 2:17Speaker 3: little hornet. And I even have my sissy bar on
- 2:19Speaker 3: the back. Is it's literally called the stupid tall sissy
- 2:22Speaker 3: bar because it's three feet tall.
- 2:23Speaker 1: What's a sissy bar? That's for you? Said?
- 2:25Speaker 3: Sissy bar is a bar that sticks up out of
- 2:28Speaker 3: the back of your motorcycle for you to attach gear to,
- 2:31Speaker 3: or sometimes it acts as the back rest for your passenger. Yeah,
- 2:34Speaker 3: get mine does both. It's got a pad at the bottom,
- 2:37Speaker 3: but it's really tall. And then you make they make
- 2:39Speaker 3: these bags. They look like Duffel bags or some aer
- 2:41Speaker 3: look like backpacks. They're called sissy bar bags, and they're
- 2:44Speaker 3: made with a slot to slide it over top of
- 2:46Speaker 3: or so you don't have to like attach it. You
- 2:48Speaker 3: don't need any like bungee cords or an that you
- 2:51Speaker 3: just slide it right on and.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You're good to go. I'm getting quite the education on motorcycles.
- 2:55Speaker 3: I can pack enough gear on my tiny bike to
- 2:58Speaker 3: go away for like three days camping. Little dick, yeah,
- 3:01Speaker 3: my tiny dick. Yeah. Well you didn't, you know, make
- 3:06Speaker 3: one appear. You are a magician, by the way. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 3: well we might.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Make a dick appear later.
- 3:09Speaker 3: We'll yeeah, we might, we might. Tyler's not coming after all,
- 3:12Speaker 3: by the way, he couldn't be.
- 3:13Speaker 1: He would have been the dick that would have appeared,
- 3:15Speaker 1: but now he's not.
- 3:16Speaker 3: He's a disappearing dick. Yeah. Mattie Whipple today our guest
- 3:20Speaker 3: on episode forty five. Maddie, you sent me your entire
- 3:24Speaker 3: resume of what you do. Please inform everyone of all
- 3:28Speaker 3: your talents. So I guess primarily, I'm a nationally touring
- 3:36Speaker 3: comedy magician. I mostly do corporate events, sometimes comedy clubs.
- 3:42Speaker 3: So I'm like the most famous magician that nobody's heard of,
- 3:46Speaker 3: because I I'm colleagues with a lot of the guys
- 3:49Speaker 3: that are famous, but like nobody knows, so him and
- 3:51Speaker 3: I enjoy it that way. Yeah, and then I make
- 3:55Speaker 3: a little bit of money writing other people material or
- 3:59Speaker 3: creating matt for other people as consultant stuff. The fun
- 4:03Speaker 3: part of the job for me is the creation side.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I consider myself an artist first, so like feeding the
- 4:07Speaker 3: muse is like the most fun part of the job
- 4:09Speaker 3: for me. So I love researching and developing stuff today.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Are you gonna show us how to do a magic trick?
- 4:15Speaker 1: Or are you going to teach you on or are
- 4:16Speaker 1: you gonna like have us be the magic trick? You
- 4:18Speaker 1: gonna be like I'm gonna disappear or something. I'm gonna
- 4:21Speaker 1: do some stuff for you guys. But I could teach
- 4:22Speaker 1: you a trick too, for sure. I'd love that. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 1: The problem is a lot of times it's with like
- 4:28Speaker 1: the you know, the cards, and the cards have numbers
- 4:30Speaker 1: on them, and I'm not a number guy.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Seriously, honestly, that's that's the problem.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I see a lot of these videos online where you know,
- 4:38Speaker 1: you walk up to some random dude and you do
- 4:39Speaker 1: a magic trick, and it's always like a magic trick
- 4:42Speaker 1: with the cards with the numbers on them, and I
- 4:45Speaker 1: don't know, it just confuses me. One thing with no
- 4:47Speaker 1: numbers whatsoever. How about words? Are you okay with words?
- 4:50Speaker 1: The words? All right? All right?
- 4:51Speaker 3: Once in a while, the small ones. I mean, I've
- 4:53Speaker 3: been doing a little light reading to Clockwork Orange. I
- 4:57Speaker 3: don't know if you guys have seen the movie or
- 4:59Speaker 3: read the book. I wish I could read. So the
- 5:02Speaker 3: movie is a huge downer. It's not light reading. The
- 5:06Speaker 3: book is not like reading. It's absolutely brutal. It's a
- 5:09Speaker 3: dystopian future in England where it's gangs roaming the streets.
- 5:14Speaker 3: But the gangs, their vision of what that the future
- 5:16Speaker 3: would have looked like, is interesting because the gangs all
- 5:18Speaker 3: wear like white button down shirts, big suspenders, and they
- 5:21Speaker 3: paint their eyes black around the one eye, and they
- 5:25Speaker 3: have canes and they rape and murder and pillage and
- 5:27Speaker 3: they're bad people. And one of them gets caught and
- 5:31Speaker 3: gets through a rehabilitation program. But the rehabilitation program is
- 5:35Speaker 3: like more torture than they ever inflicted on anybody, and
- 5:38Speaker 3: it just drives them crazier and he goes nuts.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And here, let's do this.
- 5:43Speaker 3: I'm gonna have you stop me on a random page,
- 5:45Speaker 3: so I'll go like this and you say stop.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Stop all right.
- 5:50Speaker 3: I want you to look at the very first word
- 5:52Speaker 3: up here and memorize that word.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Okay, you got it? Yeah, okay? Is it a word.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Is it a small word? It has a few letters?
- 6:00Speaker 3: Okay, think about the first letter? Okay, is it a T? Oh?
- 6:08Speaker 3: My god, think about the think about the last letter
- 6:12Speaker 3: Boh shit, I forgot.
- 6:13Speaker 1: The word fuck?
- 6:15Speaker 3: Oh can I see it again? I don't know what
- 6:17Speaker 3: page you were on SEV. Do you remember the word
- 6:23Speaker 3: you were? You were thinking A? Why I was what
- 6:26Speaker 3: is the word today? Oh?
- 6:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Today? All right?
- 6:29Speaker 3: We got it. Here, I'm going to give you the book.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I want you to pick a really long word. The
- 6:33Speaker 3: longer the word you pick, the harder it is. There
- 6:34Speaker 3: should be plenty to choose from. Let me ask you.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Can you do this with any book or just that book?
- 6:38Speaker 3: I do it with like tons of Actually I was
- 6:40Speaker 3: going to bring like five or six and get the Bible.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Get the Bible. I have that book memorized, sir.
- 6:45Speaker 1: Wow.
- 6:46Speaker 3: No, I don't just go to any page and memorize
- 6:48Speaker 3: any word, any big word that you like. All right, here,
- 6:51Speaker 3: I'll take the book back cloth that you got the
- 6:52Speaker 3: word memorized. All right, I want you to focus on
- 6:56Speaker 3: the first letter.
- 6:59Speaker 1: It's Is it a B? Think about the last letter
- 7:08Speaker 1: that's a G. Is it blood curdling? Yeah?
- 7:10Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, here we go. Wow, that's kind of cool,
- 7:18Speaker 4: kind of cool. What are you talking about? He showed
- 7:20Speaker 4: us a trict with no numbers.
- 7:21Speaker 1: I'm liking it.
- 7:23Speaker 3: I'm here for ask. Can you shall receive though?
- 7:25Speaker 2: Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel, The trivia
- 7:30Speaker 2: podcast where truth, fury and THHC glide. Let's spark your
- 7:36Speaker 2: curiosity and light up some knowledge they'll. Blazed and Confused
- 7:42Speaker 2: Podcast with Becker and Joel starts.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Out nowmember gooding coffee already coffee?
- 7:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm drinking coffee. Ou g h y all the coffee. Yeah,
- 7:53Speaker 1: I'm Becker. That's Joel. Hello.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Blaze to Confused, Episode forty five. Our guest today Matty Whipple.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Maddy is a magician, and you're talking about doing some
- 8:01Speaker 3: mentalist work, which I think you just kind of did, right, yep, Yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 3: that was a pretty amazing I do a little bit
- 8:07Speaker 3: of everything. Yeah, when did you start doing this? When
- 8:10Speaker 3: I was seven years old, my parents got me for
- 8:13Speaker 3: my birthday. They got me the Harry Houdini hat full
- 8:15Speaker 3: of Magic. Oh, and it's still in the box in
- 8:18Speaker 3: my mom's attic. Oh and I got really good at
- 8:20Speaker 3: all the tricks, and then it would come and go.
- 8:22Speaker 3: I would get into it. Then I got out of it,
- 8:24Speaker 3: and I got into it. Then I got into sports,
- 8:25Speaker 3: and I got out of it. Then I got into it.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Then I got into being in band, and then I
- 8:29Speaker 3: got out of it. Then then I joined the Army,
- 8:31Speaker 3: got back out of it. Then I found out chicks
- 8:33Speaker 3: were into it, got back into it. I was everybody's
- 8:37Speaker 3: favorite wingman when I was in the Army, and then
- 8:42Speaker 3: throughout all that I was always a theater kid, you know, like,
- 8:46Speaker 3: and I was always funny. So I was in a
- 8:49Speaker 3: band that was really pretty good, and we toured and
- 8:52Speaker 3: we had a good time, and then then I left
- 8:54Speaker 3: for the Army. When I got back from the Army,
- 8:55Speaker 3: I knew I wanted to work and show business one
- 8:58Speaker 3: way or another, but I had no in. So I
- 9:00Speaker 3: just got a regular job and started going to comedy
- 9:02Speaker 3: open mics and practicing my stuff, and I got pretty
- 9:05Speaker 3: good and things escalated. I was getting better and better
- 9:08Speaker 3: gigs until I got my break or whatever it was,
- 9:12Speaker 3: when I got to open for Bob Saget at the
- 9:14Speaker 3: Sands Casino. Oh cool, and his manager really liked me,
- 9:17Speaker 3: and they took me on the across the East Coast
- 9:20Speaker 3: Phythm opening for him, and then I auditioned for America's
- 9:23Speaker 3: Got Talent.
- 9:24Speaker 1: I got on.
- 9:25Speaker 3: The episode never aired because it's so stupid, but it's
- 9:28Speaker 3: on my resume. There's a long story, but one of
- 9:30Speaker 3: the producers and I did not get along, and then
- 9:33Speaker 3: I was going to be on Ellen. I was slaughtered
- 9:34Speaker 3: to be on Ellen. But then a then COVID hit
- 9:37Speaker 3: and everything shut down. And then I went back to
- 9:39Speaker 3: bartending and slowly built my career back up. And here
- 9:43Speaker 3: we are again, cool man, and thanks for driving. You're
- 9:46Speaker 3: the You've driven further than any other guest.
- 9:48Speaker 1: To get here.
- 9:49Speaker 3: It's about forty five minutes it would have been. I
- 9:51Speaker 3: looked it up this morning and it was a half hour.
- 9:53Speaker 3: And that's also part of the reason why I was
- 9:55Speaker 3: a little late. It was because I left with enough
- 9:57Speaker 3: time to get here by five point fifteen. But then
- 10:00Speaker 3: once I got to the traffic, it was bad. Why
- 10:02Speaker 3: are we talking about this? No, no, no, you said
- 10:04Speaker 3: that you got stuck in an accident?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Yea, the roundabout? How do those things work? Apparently they don't.
- 10:12Speaker 1: They don't. Why can't we just have normal roads? Why
- 10:14Speaker 1: do we got to throw in circles? It don't make
- 10:16Speaker 1: any sounds.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Like you're part of the reason why he was late today.
- 10:18Speaker 1: Every time I drive in a roundabout, I think, I
- 10:22Speaker 1: don't think I'm in the right lane. I think I'm
- 10:24Speaker 1: doing this wrong.
- 10:25Speaker 3: A lot of people do that and then they switch
- 10:27Speaker 3: lanes in the middle of the roundabout. Yeah, and then
- 10:29Speaker 3: people crash into them. If everybody in the roundabout knew
- 10:32Speaker 3: how to work the roundabout, there wouldn't be any accidents
- 10:34Speaker 3: in the roundabout.
- 10:35Speaker 1: You know. Roundabouts used to be a New Jersey point.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Roundabouts used to be in New Jersey thing, and now
- 10:40Speaker 1: it seems like they're creeping up more and more and
- 10:42Speaker 1: more in Pennsylvania.
- 10:43Speaker 3: It started in England. It's a huge in Europe. It's
- 10:45Speaker 3: all over Europe.
- 10:46Speaker 1: So there's no like street lights, traffic lights. Instead of
- 10:50Speaker 1: the traffic lights, there's roundabouts. Yeah, and yield signs. Yeah,
- 10:54Speaker 1: it's gonna follow. You don't have to stop. Yeah, you
- 10:57Speaker 1: should keep going. There's nobody coming. You just keep going. Yeah.
- 11:00Speaker 3: I keep on the motorcycle. I keep wanting to drive
- 11:03Speaker 3: right over the middle and jump it. But I like,
- 11:06Speaker 3: you're like, we need to keep the lights as if
- 11:08Speaker 3: you follow those, you know, either I followed the lights. Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Sometimes I did get pulled over once for running a
- 11:14Speaker 1: red light, like I don't know, three four months after
- 11:17Speaker 1: I got my license. Maybe, Yeah, I did it in
- 11:20Speaker 1: front of a cop. Wouldn't recommend I didn't know he
- 11:23Speaker 1: was there. It was bad. I remember him calling my dad.
- 11:26Speaker 1: That was like the punishment. Isn't that weird? You're on
- 11:28Speaker 1: the side of the road and the cop says, all right,
- 11:30Speaker 1: give me your phone and call your father and I'm
- 11:33Speaker 1: going to talk to him. Can we ask you questions
- 11:35Speaker 1: about being a comedian magician? Yeah, all right. One thing
- 11:38Speaker 1: I've always wanted to know, you know, the old school
- 11:41Speaker 1: magician magic trick, where like somebody's laying in the box
- 11:45Speaker 1: and then you get the big old saw out and
- 11:47Speaker 1: you start cutting them open. Well, like cutting the box?
- 11:50Speaker 1: How are they doing that?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Didn't I think somebody revealed that right the best magician guy,
- 11:55Speaker 3: you know, I.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Didn't know how that worked.
- 11:57Speaker 3: The box is built. It's sort of like an optical illusion.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I guess I can reveal it since somebody did.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Uh.
- 12:02Speaker 3: The box is built with a lot of extra space
- 12:05Speaker 3: inside of it that you can't tell from the outside
- 12:07Speaker 3: is there.
- 12:08Speaker 1: There's The box is built with.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Sort of like an optical illusion in it that makes
- 12:12Speaker 3: it look slightly smaller than it is. And then on
- 12:13Speaker 3: top of that, you need a very skinny, very short assistant.
- 12:18Speaker 3: You know, she gets in the box and she pulls
- 12:19Speaker 3: her knees up to her chest or he and or he,
- 12:22Speaker 3: and then out the end there's fake feet that go out,
- 12:26Speaker 3: So there's always pay attention to the feet when they
- 12:28Speaker 3: do that.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, and the good, the good expensive versions of it,
- 12:32Speaker 3: the feet wiggle and stuff. But yeah, you'd like this,
- 12:35Speaker 3: you're a feet guy. I used to do something similar.
- 12:37Speaker 3: There's a stand up version of it called a zagcube,
- 12:40Speaker 3: which is the same thing. You cut them in half,
- 12:42Speaker 3: except you do it the middle of them comes out
- 12:46Speaker 3: and then the top, bottom and top are still there.
- 12:48Speaker 3: And I've done that a few times. I used to
- 12:50Speaker 3: have one of the props. I need my because I
- 12:52Speaker 3: do corporate audiences. I need my show to pack into
- 12:54Speaker 3: a carry on bag, so I can't be working with
- 12:56Speaker 3: big props. I'm not paying to ship that crap. So
- 13:00Speaker 3: do you always need a prop to do that stuff?
- 13:02Speaker 3: You need the big box? Yeah, yeah, unless you're just
- 13:04Speaker 3: going to build one. There's some magicians that do that
- 13:06Speaker 3: they build them out a cardboard like wherever they're going.
- 13:09Speaker 3: But I just like everything to fit in my backpack.
- 13:12Speaker 3: And where do you get this magician equipment? Like who
- 13:15Speaker 3: makes it? There's magician builders out there. It's a whole
- 13:18Speaker 3: secret society. You know the right guy and they know
- 13:21Speaker 3: how to make it. There's like secrets to making secrets.
- 13:24Speaker 3: There's some I've watched documentaries and shows about it. There's
- 13:26Speaker 3: some props in the world that there's like only one
- 13:30Speaker 3: person left that even makes them, Like it's pretty wild.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I paid a lot in tariffs because some of my props.
- 13:36Speaker 3: There's like a guy in England that makes my wallets.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I can only get them from him, and nobody else
- 13:40Speaker 3: makes them or in Ireland, and so I ended up
- 13:43Speaker 3: paying like eighty dollars in tariffs for a wallet.
- 13:45Speaker 1: It's so dumb. The tea word. Yeah, they benefit us though,
- 13:48Speaker 1: don't worry well do they? Though I'm still waiting on
- 13:51Speaker 1: my two thousand dollars deck. I don't know if I'm
- 13:53Speaker 1: getting any of it. I did the math. I've paid
- 13:55Speaker 1: about eighteen hundred and tariffs. But again, we're all supposed
- 13:58Speaker 1: to be getting a two thousand dollar dollar check that
- 14:01Speaker 1: would cover ith the audio where was that he said that, like,
- 14:04Speaker 1: what six months ago, we.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Have so much money coming in from tariffs that we'll
- 14:08Speaker 5: be able to issue at least a two thousand dollars dividend.
- 14:12Speaker 5: We will be able to make a very substantial dividend
- 14:15Speaker 5: to the people of our country.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And still waiting, still waiting. Anyway, anyway, more meet the
- 14:19Speaker 1: press later.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Anyway, you don't like magic, or you don't believe in that,
- 14:22Speaker 3: or not believe in magic, I shouldn't say that.
- 14:23Speaker 1: I like, yeah, magic school. I've always liked magic. Yeah,
- 14:26Speaker 1: I've never like gone out of my way to watch it.
- 14:29Speaker 2: No.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I can just see you going there and being like, Mikey,
- 14:34Speaker 3: this is fucking stupid.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Well no, no, I mean there was a part of
- 14:37Speaker 1: me when you got the book out and when you
- 14:38Speaker 1: were like, okay, memorize this word, and then you know,
- 14:41Speaker 1: I forgot it. But still, like, when I watched you
- 14:43Speaker 1: do that whole thing, there was a tiny part of
- 14:46Speaker 1: me that was hoping that you would fuck it up,
- 14:48Speaker 1: just like one, just once, just once. I don't worry
- 14:51Speaker 1: that's not gonna But it didn't. Yeah, So I am impressed.
- 14:55Speaker 1: That was because I can't suck it up because it's real. Yeah,
- 14:58Speaker 1: what's real? I'm really reading your mind? Is that what
- 15:00Speaker 1: you're doing?
- 15:01Speaker 3: That?
- 15:01Speaker 1: Absolutely not.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Well, let's see if you can figure out these questions.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Do you know what they are? Right now? What we
- 15:08Speaker 1: have on the paper? Idea?
- 15:09Speaker 3: What we go?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Yeah, see that's just it. So how are we supposed
- 15:11Speaker 1: to ask you the trivia questions? If you can like
- 15:14Speaker 1: read my mind to read the sheet to get the answer.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I can't do that. There's always a trick. Let's do
- 15:19Speaker 3: the rapid round ten questions sixty seconds.
- 15:22Speaker 1: The game begins three, All right, wrap it round. But
- 15:29Speaker 1: Darwinists is a believer of what concept? Evolution? Yeah? Evolution?
- 15:36Speaker 3: A Portuguese man o war is a type of what crab?
- 15:40Speaker 1: No? What's seven times six jeeves? Seven times six? Oh god?
- 15:46Speaker 1: Fifty six? Close?
- 15:48Speaker 3: What do you call the pointy teeth in your mouth?
- 15:50Speaker 1: Canines? Yeah? King tut ruled over what country?
- 15:55Speaker 3: What is another name for an area of level land,
- 15:58Speaker 3: usually at low elevation, often covered.
- 15:59Speaker 1: In grass the plane? Yes? How many stars are on
- 16:03Speaker 1: the US flag? Fifty? Yeah?
- 16:06Speaker 3: What is the official nickname of Texas the lone star state?
- 16:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Very democratically. What's the fastest growing plant?
- 16:16Speaker 3: Marijuana. I wish onions. What is the main organ of
- 16:22Speaker 3: taste the tongue, Yeah, the tongue. All right, What is
- 16:26Speaker 3: the fastest growing plant? The hint would be pandas, Oh, eucalyptus.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Bam bamboo. Oh yeah, that's Koala's schedule one.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Sorry, I always keep doing this.
- 16:38Speaker 3: We have politics on hot keys over here, which is funny.
- 16:41Speaker 1: We'll get to that later. I pressed the wrong button
- 16:43Speaker 1: as usual. Anyway, let's do the recap here. A Darwinist
- 16:48Speaker 1: is a believer of evolution. You got that right, very good.
- 16:51Speaker 1: But Portuguese man o war is a type of jellyfish. Yeah,
- 16:54Speaker 1: never heard of that. News to me. I knew that.
- 16:56Speaker 1: To kill jellyfish are kind of creepy. Yeah they are.
- 17:00Speaker 1: And you hear about people that go swimming in the
- 17:02Speaker 1: ocean and all of a sudden they get stung by
- 17:04Speaker 1: a freaking jellyfish. That's some scary shit. That's why you're
- 17:06Speaker 1: a sitter. That's why you're a sitter. You're a damn runner.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Damn right, jaws ain't gonna get me, jellyfish ain't gonna
- 17:12Speaker 1: get me.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Nobody's getting If you get stung by a jellyfish, I
- 17:14Speaker 3: will pee on you.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Isn't that what you're supposed to do. You're supposedly got
- 17:17Speaker 1: to doing you a favor.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I would dune all over you if I could,
- 17:21Speaker 3: even if you weren't stung by John. I've been waiting
- 17:23Speaker 3: my entire life to kiss on somebody and have them thank.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Me for it.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Oh, I can tell a story right now, but I'm
- 17:29Speaker 3: not going to.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Don't jeez anyway, what's seven times six on a lighter
- 17:34Speaker 1: note two forty two? I won't be able to do that,
- 17:39Speaker 1: God bless. I mean maybe if I counted it out.
- 17:43Speaker 1: What do you call the pony teeth in your mouth? Canines?
- 17:46Speaker 1: King Tut ruled over Egypt. Another name for an area
- 17:50Speaker 1: of level land, usually at low elevation, often covered in grass.
- 17:55Speaker 1: A plane. Yeah, all right, mister wordy. It's a long question.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Was that's what it's on internet? So? Yeah? How many
- 18:02Speaker 1: stars are on the US flag? Fifty soon to be fifty.
- 18:04Speaker 3: One, maybe even fifty two by the end of next
- 18:07Speaker 3: year with Greenland, Yeah, fifty three. We're gonna rack them up.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Wasn't there one more he said recently that we're gonna
- 18:12Speaker 1: take over Cuba, was it?
- 18:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Cuba is supposed to be next.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Oh yeah, any more stars.
- 18:18Speaker 1: The official nickname of Texas, the lone star state.
- 18:21Speaker 3: I'm from Texas. Are you really San Antonio?
- 18:24Speaker 1: The fastest growing plant bamboo. I asked this at a
- 18:28Speaker 1: trivia night, and of course I had some dude that
- 18:30Speaker 1: came up to me and was like, it's it's not bamboo.
- 18:34Speaker 1: I lived in Arizona or some fucking state down there,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and the answer is really this plant insert answer here
- 18:40Speaker 1: which I don't remember. And then sure enough when I
- 18:42Speaker 1: googled it, he was right, Oh really.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Yeah, that's questions wrong. Yeah, so you got to look
- 18:47Speaker 3: at the game. Yeah, there's one I should win that
- 18:49Speaker 3: by default, that shut down. There's one plant that we're
- 18:52Speaker 3: trying to have a podcast that is designed you know,
- 18:54Speaker 3: with fact in mind. Right, so we're make sure we
- 18:57Speaker 3: grow directar mistakes.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Faster than bamboo. Yeah really, Okay, So it's duck duck weed,
- 19:07Speaker 1: duck weed weed nonetheless duck weed or something like that
- 19:13Speaker 1: weed for ducks.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I don't know, did I say weed?
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah? I don't know.
- 19:16Speaker 3: I got it right, You're close, you see, you read
- 19:19Speaker 3: your mind.
- 19:20Speaker 1: It really does take a special person, because think about it,
- 19:23Speaker 1: if you were sitting at a bar, trivia night and
- 19:26Speaker 1: you thought that your answer was correct and the host
- 19:29Speaker 1: was wrong, right, and let's just throw this into the
- 19:32Speaker 1: prize is like, you know, a twenty five dollars gift card.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Would you get up and go and complain about it? Yes,
- 19:39Speaker 1: come on, I'll give you another. What would you do
- 19:41Speaker 1: in my situation hosting a trivia night? Man, people cheat
- 19:45Speaker 1: their ass off every week. I catch people and it's
- 19:47Speaker 1: just exhausting because you know, you people pay me to
- 19:50Speaker 1: stand up there and ask questions, not walk around in
- 19:52Speaker 1: police if people are on their phone or not.
- 19:54Speaker 3: You know, it's just exhausting. I just assume that everybody's exactly, yeah, exactly.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Who's better at it? That's the question? That's the new trivia.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Two weeks ago, I had these two like young looking kids.
- 20:04Speaker 1: They were probably like twenty one twenty two ish, two
- 20:07Speaker 1: of them. They came out and sit, They sit all
- 20:09Speaker 1: the way in the back of the bar, and sure enough,
- 20:12Speaker 1: they start getting like every question correct, every single one right.
- 20:17Speaker 1: So I know that they're sitting on their phones googling
- 20:20Speaker 1: every question, but I just didn't do anything about it.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I didn't say anything about it. And then at the
- 20:24Speaker 1: end of the night they were supposed to be the winner,
- 20:26Speaker 1: but I just thought, fuck you people, You're not gonna win.
- 20:28Speaker 1: And then the next people down I gave the award
- 20:30Speaker 1: to them. Wouldn't you know this little freaking kid had
- 20:34Speaker 1: enough balls to come up to me at the end
- 20:35Speaker 1: of the night and like complain about it and say, oh, like,
- 20:38Speaker 1: we were tallying our scores on our own and we
- 20:41Speaker 1: had more points than they did. We had to have
- 20:44Speaker 1: And one of my questions that they got correct ten
- 20:47Speaker 1: minutes prior was maybe you know this the movie that
- 20:50Speaker 1: stars Angela Bassett and Whitney Houston. Didn't I ask you that? No,
- 20:54Speaker 1: didn't I ask you that on the podcast? Now I
- 20:56Speaker 1: don't even.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Remember what the answer is. If you did, I don't remember,
- 21:00Speaker 3: do you know?
- 21:00Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, waiting to I don't say you asked me
- 21:02Speaker 1: that before? Okay, but yeah, but I asked that at
- 21:04Speaker 1: the trivia night and they got it correct. So he
- 21:06Speaker 1: comes up to me and starts bitching out even when
- 21:08Speaker 1: and I said, I'm like, hey, let me ask you
- 21:09Speaker 1: a question. What was the movie that Houston and Angela's
- 21:13Speaker 1: master was in? Couldn't answer it?
- 21:15Speaker 3: Of course he could answer it.
- 21:18Speaker 1: Lazed and confused random thoughts.
- 21:22Speaker 3: On the topic of like cheating and people using computers
- 21:24Speaker 3: and stuff. A college professor figured out when his students
- 21:27Speaker 3: are using AI for their papers. He said, I have
- 21:30Speaker 3: never heard a twenty year old use the word moreover
- 21:33Speaker 3: in my life, but I've seen this word moreover show
- 21:37Speaker 3: up in a bunch of submissions this semester. And that's
- 21:40Speaker 3: how he knows when his students are using AI moreover moreover.
- 21:43Speaker 3: He goes, I've never heard this in my life, a
- 21:45Speaker 3: twenty year old using that word. But are you still
- 21:48Speaker 3: using AI for things?
- 21:50Speaker 1: I mean a little bit. Yeah, you're there, you know,
- 21:52Speaker 1: of course, aren't you. I think everybody is.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I'm not using it for a show anymore. What do
- 21:57Speaker 3: you want to meddle?
- 21:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to be better about it. Love what you've
- 22:00Speaker 1: been put for the random thoughts here. Let's get the
- 22:02Speaker 1: politics out of the way for the week. Let's do
- 22:04Speaker 1: that one. Jd. Van says he thinks UFOs are demons,
- 22:07Speaker 1: not aliens. How do you guys feel about that? I
- 22:10Speaker 1: don't know what that even means? What does that mean?
- 22:13Speaker 3: It sounds like Jady Vance has been playing doom. Honestly,
- 22:16Speaker 3: though demons are martians.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Don't you think that. Ever since this war and Iran thing,
- 22:21Speaker 1: I think jd. Vance has been very quiet. You don't agree, right,
- 22:26Speaker 1: You know, he's not said much.
- 22:29Speaker 3: You know how many times I see per day like
- 22:31Speaker 3: the White House is going live in ten minutes or whatever. Yeah,
- 22:34Speaker 3: on that page, his page. It's so funny. They're always
- 22:36Speaker 3: making announcements. Jade Vance hasn't been around. Who should start
- 22:39Speaker 3: up a new feature? What's your favorite Trump quote of
- 22:42Speaker 3: the week? Here's mine.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I always like.
- 22:44Speaker 5: To just hang around with losers, actually because it makes
- 22:46Speaker 5: me feel better. I hate guys that are very, very successful,
- 22:51Speaker 5: and you have to listen to their success.
- 22:53Speaker 1: So I like people that like to listen to my success.
- 22:57Speaker 1: He likes hanging around with losers, doesn't he? Yeah? Okay,
- 23:01Speaker 1: very evident at least?
- 23:03Speaker 2: Do you ad mention trivia Tangent GAC They Blaze and
- 23:09Speaker 2: Confused podcast with Becker and Joe.
- 23:12Speaker 1: You want to go first? Yeah? Sure, okay? Question number one?
- 23:18Speaker 1: Do I want to go answer or ask? Ask? Okay? Good? Yeah,
- 23:22Speaker 1: yeah I do.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Now we have an audience here today, I think that
- 23:26Speaker 3: we should be able to ask, you know, for help too.
- 23:28Speaker 1: You know, we need it. There are people here there
- 23:30Speaker 1: that can help. Yeah, like one time.
- 23:32Speaker 3: Right, Well, Mattie's definitely a lifeline to both of us.
- 23:38Speaker 3: There's a three studio gush, how are we supposed to?
- 23:40Speaker 3: I mean that well, it will involve everyone. This will
- 23:43Speaker 3: be fun. Okay, all right, here we go. All right,
- 23:46Speaker 3: I'm going to start with animals. What animal is known
- 23:49Speaker 3: to have the highest blood pressure?
- 23:52Speaker 1: Huh?
- 23:55Speaker 3: Highest blood pressure? I want to say bear? No, No,
- 24:10Speaker 3: I don't know, like a lion or a tiger or
- 24:15Speaker 3: a bear? Oh my, back to bear right, like a panther,
- 24:20Speaker 3: maybe like a panther of something like that.
- 24:23Speaker 1: In a panther a bear? No, a cat? Oh?
- 24:28Speaker 3: Okay, I was feeling stupid flute there, but that really
- 24:34Speaker 3: that really helped me out. Okay, I'm gonna go with panther.
- 24:39Speaker 3: I have no idea jaguar. Final answer, both of both
- 24:44Speaker 3: of them. The correct answer, believe it or not, is
- 24:48Speaker 3: a giraffe.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Gee, giraffe.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Huh. That was a good question. Don't you think girafts
- 24:54Speaker 3: are cool? Yeah? They can see some they've they've seen
- 24:58Speaker 3: some ship. You know, you can see more than us.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Michelle has a sad fact about your raffs.
- 25:04Speaker 3: Michelle, go ahead, if there's like a rain still like thunderstorm.
- 25:07Speaker 3: There's nowhere for them to like take shelter. And they're
- 25:11Speaker 3: most likely to be struck by lightning?
- 25:13Speaker 4: Is Christ.
- 25:16Speaker 3: They're most likely to be struck by enlightening.
- 25:24Speaker 1: I'm just sad. It's horrifying question too. How many states
- 25:30Speaker 1: begin with the letter M.
- 25:35Speaker 3: I have a question for you that is the exact same,
- 25:38Speaker 3: but a different letter. I was like, don't say S.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Great now, I.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Know it's just fine. You're not going to remember. Here
- 25:47Speaker 3: we go, all right, say it again.
- 25:48Speaker 1: I'm not going to remember. Don't do it. Don't even
- 25:51Speaker 1: think about it? All right? What was the question? Oh?
- 25:56Speaker 1: How many US states begin with the letter M?
- 25:58Speaker 3: Alright, start naming them and I'll keep it to you guy. Missouri, right, Mississippi?
- 26:06Speaker 4: Uh?

- 27:07Speaker 1: name them?

- 27:56Speaker 1: Back twenty years ago, over ninety percent of American household
- 28:00Speaker 1: had one of these. Now it's more like twenty percent
- 28:05Speaker 1: of American households that have them. What are they?
- 28:08Speaker 3: What is It's hoasters because people have air fryers and shit.

- 28:33Speaker 3: I got a couple of guesses. I'm gonna go with
- 28:35Speaker 3: Manny for this one. Okay, Yeah, well I just I
- 28:39Speaker 3: think it's probably like either a CD player or a DHS.
- 28:43Speaker 1: It's one of those.
- 28:45Speaker 3: I would say CD player, Then I would go with that. Yeah, yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 3: CD player.
- 28:51Speaker 1: Did we get it?
- 28:52Speaker 5: No?
- 28:52Speaker 3: What is it?
- 28:53Speaker 1: Correct? Answer? Is a landline phone? Ah, that's a good one.

- 29:07Speaker 3: same number since I was a kid.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah, see there's a phone booth.
- 29:11Speaker 3: In reading that, a guy in his will left a
- 29:17Speaker 3: bank account specifically to keep that phone connected. Well, as

- 31:45Speaker 3: Southeast United.
- 31:46Speaker 1: That means no Southeast. Alright, So South, South Carolina. There
- 31:51Speaker 1: you go, South Carolina. Al Right. We talked him through.
- 31:53Speaker 1: What was my other one? South Dakota, South Carolina? Is
- 31:56Speaker 1: that it for the South? What else? There's more than two?
- 32:03Speaker 1: There's got to be more than two. Right now, it's
- 32:10Speaker 1: just the South. I'm gonna say two. You got it.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Good job, good job, even though you know, all right,
- 32:23Speaker 1: that's a good start for you. Okay, what are they again,
- 32:26Speaker 1: South Dakota and South Let's go dummy.
- 32:36Speaker 3: Question two, what was the first cash crop in America?
- 32:43Speaker 1: The first cash crop in America?
- 32:52Speaker 3: You've got three lifelines standing bare?
- 32:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 32:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah yeah?
- 32:57Speaker 3: What was the first cash crop in America? I want
- 32:59Speaker 3: to say cold corn, but that's like that's what I
- 33:01Speaker 3: would say, right, let's say corn. Yeah yeah, but corn
- 33:05Speaker 3: probably can grow anywhere, right, That's why.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It would be such a good cash crop to be
- 33:08Speaker 1: the first one. It was easy to grow. Wait, what
- 33:12Speaker 1: was the question? What was our first crash crop? Yep? Yeah,
- 33:17Speaker 1: our first cash crop was this corn? That sounds blame though,
- 33:22Speaker 1: doesn't It sounds corny? Kind of our first cash crop tobacco, cotton?
- 33:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna say corn.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Answer Yeah, yeah, you got it wrong. Tobacco. Oh wow wow, Yeah,
- 33:42Speaker 3: Joel's not so smart today.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Thanks. I could have told you that.
- 33:47Speaker 3: You're welcome to say thanks. Question three, what is the
- 33:56Speaker 3: best selling arcade game of all time?
- 33:59Speaker 1: Pack Man? Final answer? What are you doing with this mic?
- 34:05Speaker 1: It keeps falling down on you, keep like moving it
- 34:07Speaker 1: and jerking it? What the fuck you do it? Over?
- 34:09Speaker 1: I watch your mouth? Yeah?
- 34:10Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you should get a room behind your business. Uh,
- 34:15Speaker 3: what was the first? Now it was the other one.
- 34:17Speaker 3: What is the best selling arcade game of all time?
- 34:20Speaker 1: Pac Man or Pinball? But pac Man? Pac Man? Right?
- 34:25Speaker 1: Any ideas from the audience. I know that Mortal Kombat
- 34:29Speaker 1: was huge, but I don't know if it.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Broke like the old records, but I would say it's
- 34:34Speaker 3: probably either Donkey Kong, pac Man, Space Invaders, or Centipede.
- 34:40Speaker 1: What is the best selling arcade game of all time? Yeah?
- 34:43Speaker 1: I still think pac Man? You got it, dude, you
- 34:45Speaker 1: got it. Nice.
- 34:47Speaker 3: It's everywhere, you know, pac Man everywhere.
- 34:49Speaker 1: See. I thought that could have been a trick question too.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It could have been like mis pac Man. You know,
- 34:54Speaker 1: what's the difference between pac Man and Miss pac Man?
- 34:57Speaker 1: And she's a girl. She has bow and some lipstick
- 34:59Speaker 1: or something than I think. I hope a little more
- 35:01Speaker 1: if she is hey, hey, yeah, that work? Yeah what
- 35:07Speaker 1: Our audience member Michelle said, let's goot a question for
- 35:11Speaker 1: weirdo question for twenty what hey.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah, hey girl? But thinking about our parts, what is
- 35:20Speaker 3: the what is the what is the long bone?
- 35:26Speaker 5: Oh?
- 35:27Speaker 3: Speaking of parts, geez, what is the long bone in
- 35:30Speaker 3: the upper arm?
- 35:32Speaker 2: Oh?
- 35:32Speaker 3: Okay, the long bone in the upper arm do you
- 35:36Speaker 3: need the medical name or can you call it by
- 35:38Speaker 3: its nickname?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Bicep? The actual name is a bone or is that
- 35:43Speaker 1: like a muscle. I think that's a muscles, a muscle. Yeah, okay,
- 35:46Speaker 1: so not that bicep bone. The bipt your bone. It
- 35:51Speaker 1: is the only bone in that part of your arm.
- 35:57Speaker 1: So it goes from your elbow to your shoulder. I know,
- 36:00Speaker 1: I know this one. Yeah, I will go to my lifeline.
- 36:02Speaker 4: There we go.
- 36:03Speaker 3: So it's the humorous It is a funny. So what
- 36:06Speaker 3: do you get if you What do you get if
- 36:08Speaker 3: you boil your funny bone?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Huh?
- 36:11Speaker 3: You get a laughing stock. See that's humorous.
- 36:17Speaker 1: What's the bone called again? Humorous bone? Funny bone, funny bone.
- 36:23Speaker 1: God bless the lifeline. Huh? Facts optional laughs.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Karinthe Go Blazed and Confused podcast with Becker and Joel.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Let's do more Magic with Magic Man Maddie Maddie Whipple,
- 36:37Speaker 1: Master Entertainer, our guest for today And what's your show?
- 36:41Speaker 1: Like you do stuff with kids or adults? Or what
- 36:44Speaker 1: my show is? Like a hard PG? Thirteen.
- 36:46Speaker 3: I only get booked for adult stuff. I could do
- 36:48Speaker 3: a kid show, but like I usually if people ask
- 36:51Speaker 3: me to do a kid show. If I don't know them,
- 36:54Speaker 3: I pass that off to like somebody that I know
- 36:56Speaker 3: that does the kids shows. But if you're a friend
- 36:59Speaker 3: of mine, I'll do whatever, hang out with your kids.
- 37:02Speaker 3: But I hate kids because kids they are so smart.
- 37:08Speaker 3: They and they have no filters. So like, if a
- 37:10Speaker 3: kid's watching you and they catch something, like if you
- 37:12Speaker 3: and I, if I'm performing for you guys, and I
- 37:14Speaker 3: catch one of you watching me and I see that
- 37:17Speaker 3: you caught something, I can give you a little wink
- 37:19Speaker 3: and you're gonna be like, okay, all right, and now
- 37:20Speaker 3: you're in on it, so you're cool, right, so you
- 37:22Speaker 3: don't say anything.
- 37:23Speaker 1: But kids, they don't do that.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Kids are just like it's in its pucket. You're fucked.
- 37:29Speaker 3: So when you when you work for kids, you literally
- 37:31Speaker 3: have to be perfect or you get caught.
- 37:34Speaker 1: So I hate kids.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Interesting, that's very interesting them. Yeah, you can't stand them.
- 37:40Speaker 3: They're shitty clients. They never pay me on time. I'm
- 37:45Speaker 3: just kidding. Te all my friends with kids, Your kids
- 37:47Speaker 3: are awesome, They're very nice. I'm just glad they're yours.
- 37:52Speaker 1: A mini ddition. As we edit here, I'm realizing that
- 37:55Speaker 1: magic is way cooler. If you know what we're thinking.
- 37:58Speaker 1: So for the following segment, Michelle, our studio guest is
- 38:01Speaker 1: thinking of the name Barbara. Okay, here we go.
- 38:05Speaker 3: Can you give me a favorite Think of the first
- 38:06Speaker 3: name as somebody who's like really important to you, somebody
- 38:10Speaker 3: who's not here. Yeah, but somebody that you care a
- 38:12Speaker 3: lot about that. There's no way I could know just
- 38:15Speaker 3: their first name. They could be living or dead. Sometimes
- 38:17Speaker 3: people use a pet.
- 38:18Speaker 1: It's up to you.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Don't tell me. Just let me know when you got
- 38:22Speaker 3: a name, just their first name. You got it, all right?
- 38:24Speaker 3: I want you to picture that name written in front
- 38:26Speaker 3: of your face in like big, big, all capital letters,
- 38:30Speaker 3: and they're like floating each letters, like floating right in
- 38:32Speaker 3: front of you. Can you imagine that? I want you
- 38:35Speaker 3: to write that name down exactly the way it's floating
- 38:37Speaker 3: in front of you, like all capital is nice and
- 38:39Speaker 3: big and clear. And then after you write it down,
- 38:41Speaker 3: you can show them and then leave the card like
- 38:44Speaker 3: that so that I can't see what you wrote. Okay,
- 38:46Speaker 3: write that name, show it to everybody, put it face
- 38:49Speaker 3: down on the on the stool. Gets it wrong, I
- 38:54Speaker 3: hope not. Sorry, We'll cut it out. We'll go ahead
- 38:57Speaker 3: and then we'll cut it out the hell we will.
- 39:00Speaker 3: So hold your hand out. I'm going to give you this.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Put your other hand on top. Look at me.
- 39:03Speaker 3: I want you to picture this person's name the same
- 39:06Speaker 3: way it was before. You're writing in your brain. You're
- 39:08Speaker 3: going hilly like the because the letters are floating, isn't it?
- 39:12Speaker 3: Barbar Barbara?
- 39:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 39:15Speaker 3: Did I get it? Can we take a look? Yeah,
- 39:17Speaker 3: look the letters are floating. That's what I was getting
- 39:19Speaker 3: in your head. That's crazy. Thank you there, you can
- 39:21Speaker 3: have that listening, audience. Our jaws are just dropped right now.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Do something with Mark. Mark's next. All right, hey are
- 39:31Speaker 1: you that's cool? Are you left handed or are you
- 39:35Speaker 1: right handed? Left? Oh? Me too nice?
- 39:38Speaker 3: All right, I hold your left hand out like this
- 39:40Speaker 3: is actually also happens to be closest to me.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Bring it over here.
- 39:42Speaker 3: I want everybody to see what happens. Okay, maybe lower
- 39:45Speaker 3: it down just a little bit and make a fist. Okay,
- 39:48Speaker 3: so I have a sharpie marker here. Interesting trivia fact.
- 39:52Speaker 3: Do you guys know where sharpie markers are made? They
- 39:55Speaker 3: are made in Fargo, North Dakota, which is not relevant
- 39:58Speaker 3: at all, but it is. And to think about the
- 40:00Speaker 3: way they'd say it right, because they'd be like, oh,
- 40:02Speaker 3: shear bemerkers, they're from Fargole. Oh geez ah, geez he's
- 40:08Speaker 3: got the sharpie markers out again anyway. So because it's
- 40:12Speaker 3: a sharpie marker, if I draw a little X on
- 40:15Speaker 3: my hand like that, that means this is what permanent ink. Right,
- 40:22Speaker 3: go ahead, Mike, check it out. Even if you like
- 40:25Speaker 3: lick your finger, it doesn't like come off right. So
- 40:28Speaker 3: watch here's the best part.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Watch this. If you're gentle, you can actually pick it
- 40:35Speaker 1: up like this. I didn't get it there it goes
- 40:38Speaker 1: and then just toss it like that. Did you feel
- 40:42Speaker 1: anything at all? No? Did I touch you? Turn your
- 40:45Speaker 1: hand over? Yeah, take a look.
- 40:47Speaker 3: What the o? My god, that's weird. I don't even
- 40:52Speaker 3: know how it works.
- 40:52Speaker 1: Is it still there? Let me see that?
- 40:58Speaker 5: Wow?
- 40:59Speaker 3: I should probably he told you ahead of time. You're
- 41:01Speaker 3: also in my cult now, congratulations?
- 41:03Speaker 1: Yeah? Oh a lot of people are these days.
- 41:05Speaker 3: We're not evil. If they ask you, we're not evil.
- 41:08Speaker 3: That was very cool, Maddie, all right, that's uh. How'd
- 41:12Speaker 3: you like that?
- 41:13Speaker 1: Joel? I don't know how I feel about that.
- 41:15Speaker 3: Feel uh like your brain's been messed with Yeah, that
- 41:21Speaker 3: always feels like that. I wouldn't worry about it.
- 41:23Speaker 1: It's time for.
- 41:28Speaker 3: I was gonna go to the smoke shop down the street,
- 41:30Speaker 3: and you used to have these chips called wrap chips,
- 41:33Speaker 3: and it had like rappers on them. I thought that
- 41:34Speaker 3: would be funny to give everybody an individual rapper. But
- 41:37Speaker 3: they didn't have any They don't sell them anymore. Wait,
- 41:39Speaker 3: so it was one chip individually wrap no no, no,
- 41:42Speaker 3: like a bag of chips. But they were just called
- 41:43Speaker 3: wrap chips and they just had rappers on the front.
- 41:46Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 41:47Speaker 3: I think it's really strange. Oh oh oh, you said rapped.
- 41:50Speaker 3: I thought you meant like rapped individually. No, no, no,
- 41:53Speaker 3: like rappers like a singh Okay, yeah, anyway, but they
- 41:57Speaker 3: sell these cookies and I picked them out for everybody.
- 42:03Speaker 3: What are you guys feeling, s'mores, peanut butter. I'm gonna
- 42:06Speaker 3: take the peanut butter if that's okay, s'mores caramel pretzel,
- 42:11Speaker 3: I'll anyone, Yeah, please pass them around.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:14Speaker 3: This is Amanda's Cookies, homemade Cookies in Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania. Official cookie,
- 42:19Speaker 3: the official cookie of our podcast. Amanda is Slaying It.
- 42:23Speaker 1: Yeah, all right.
- 42:24Speaker 3: So, Maddie, what kind did you get?
- 42:26Speaker 1: The caramel pretzel? Awesome? Yeah? Mark, what did you get?
- 42:31Speaker 1: The monster? Monster? Michelle? What did you get?
- 42:36Speaker 3: Moores Classic chocolate chip? I got peanut butter. I'm gonna
- 42:39Speaker 3: break into this thing.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 42:42Speaker 3: Guess how much these cookies were? Not even saying it
- 42:44Speaker 3: to be a thing, but guess how much a cookie cost?
- 42:47Speaker 1: Four bucks?
- 42:47Speaker 3: It's pretty it's a pretty reasonable size cookie.
- 42:49Speaker 5: You know.
- 42:50Speaker 3: I wish I had some milk with it, but it's
- 42:53Speaker 3: more than four dollars. It was basically five dollars each.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Isn't that nuts?
- 42:57Speaker 1: Though? I love how we make them the official cookie
- 43:00Speaker 1: and then slender how much they cost? Can we can
- 43:02Speaker 1: cut that out? We'll start right here. Ready.
- 43:05Speaker 3: These cookies were reasonably priced, all right, and they're very
- 43:08Speaker 3: very good. You should try it. Amanda's cooking well now
- 43:11Speaker 3: we're lying. Look, she's like, what the hell you guys
- 43:14Speaker 3: eating this food in front of me? There she is
- 43:17Speaker 3: the official DOGO, everything's official. It's funny you look up
- 43:23Speaker 3: there she looks like she's in jail. My dog donated
- 43:27Speaker 3: blood today. Oh yeah, like that's a thing. Yeah, like
- 43:31Speaker 3: three months ago I had him in just for like
- 43:33Speaker 3: a check up or whatever. And I saw a thing
- 43:36Speaker 3: on the wall, like a little poster. So I signed
- 43:39Speaker 3: him up and they took him in. They tested his
- 43:40Speaker 3: blood and it turned out he has like a really
- 43:43Speaker 3: rare blood type, so he's like a universal donor and
- 43:49Speaker 3: so and I only lived five minutes from the clinic
- 43:51Speaker 3: and so and I didn't know it at the time,
- 43:52Speaker 3: but I also get an eighty five dollars bill credit
- 43:54Speaker 3: every time he donates. I signed him up try to
- 43:57Speaker 3: do it. And we got the call like three days ago.
- 44:00Speaker 3: They were like, we have a dog coming in for
- 44:01Speaker 3: surgery because I guess dogs are because they're so small
- 44:04Speaker 3: and have so little blood. He needs to be unconscious
- 44:07Speaker 3: in the room while the surgery is going on. And
- 44:10Speaker 3: they did end up using his blood, so he's like
- 44:12Speaker 3: alive inside of another dog. And now that I know that,
- 44:15Speaker 3: I get eighty five dogs dollars, I'm thinking about starting
- 44:18Speaker 3: a herd and just like bring a dog blood farmer, Like, wow,
- 44:23Speaker 3: I'm going to research what makes dogs blood the most
- 44:26Speaker 3: rich and healthy.
- 44:28Speaker 1: What a fashinating concept though, Yeah, it's interesting. Yeah, what's
- 44:31Speaker 1: your dog's name?
- 44:32Speaker 3: Egon Ghost, Yeah, heclects spores, molds, and fungus. He's a
- 44:39Speaker 3: hero too. Hey, you were really an interesting guest. You
- 44:42Speaker 3: were super funny and uh man, you did some really
- 44:45Speaker 3: cool stuffs for having. People should definitely see you doing
- 44:48Speaker 3: this stuff. Yeah, you can catch me if you're down
- 44:51Speaker 3: in the Brooks County area. Every Wednesday, I'm either at
- 44:55Speaker 3: Clingers at the airport or Carsonia Park bar and girl, nice,
- 44:59Speaker 3: what do you do there? Strolling magic? I walk around
- 45:01Speaker 3: and perform right at your table. Everybody goes home with souvenirs.
- 45:05Speaker 3: It's a real good time. It's it's the most beautiful
- 45:10Speaker 3: intimate way to see and experience magic is when things
- 45:13Speaker 3: are happening right in your hands. Yeah, very cool man,
- 45:15Speaker 3: And where can people find out more about you? I'm
