- 1:39SPEAKER_00: So it was definitely a success and better than I could have ever imagined.

- 5:15SPEAKER_01: It's so awesome.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show, Emma.
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: Oh, thank you so much for having me on.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: I'm so excited to chat today.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 5:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, me too.
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: So let's just dive right in.
- 5:25SPEAKER_01: I love to ask everyone, you don't have to tell me your whole life story, but just like, what are some of those pivotal moments that kind of propelled you into where you are now?
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Good question.
- 5:37SPEAKER_02: And I will try to keep it as short as possible for you because it is a little bit short.
- 5:42SPEAKER_02: Don't worry.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: It's a little bit of a long one.
- 5:44SPEAKER_02: My journey essentially started roughly around 10 years ago now when I had a first business very different to the business that I do today.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: It was a money-saving and couponing business.
- 5:55SPEAKER_02: So here in the UK, I was known as the coupon queen.
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: So again, very totally different to what I do today.
- 6:01SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, I love that.
- 6:03SPEAKER_02: And this started from essentially the first sort of negative relationship that I was in when I was 18.
- 6:09SPEAKER_02: And he left me with seven grands worth of his own debt.
- 6:12SPEAKER_02: I took it on to help him to clear it, because I was a banking manager at the time.
- 6:16SPEAKER_02: So I basically had like preferential rates.
- 6:18SPEAKER_02: So I was like, I'll get this loan to help you, and then you can pay it off.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: And he never paid a single penny.
- 6:23SPEAKER_02: So I got lumbered with that debt at the age of 19, which was just crippling for so many reasons.
- 6:29SPEAKER_02: Because basically at the time I had depression as well, because all this pressure, all this stress from working in a bank, which was totally out of alignment with what I wanted to do.
- 6:38SPEAKER_02: I loved helping people, I loved chatting to people, but um, you know, putting people into debt every day and doing that and being targeted on it as well, just was not an environment where I thrived.
- 6:48SPEAKER_02: I very quickly, um, my anxiety and depression got so much worse, and I couldn't even go to work because I was just having a panic attack after panic attack every single morning.
- 6:57SPEAKER_02: So, to then have that debt, to have that relationship break down, have to move back in with my parents, felt like I was taking a massive step backwards, and my depression was getting worse and worse and worse at that point.
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: So I really just took the pressure off myself.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: I went and worked part-time in retail and came across extreme couponing um and basically just started doing it for myself, just to help myself get out of debt and just to really help myself get in a better place.
- 7:24SPEAKER_02: Um, and then my friends were like, You really need to share this with people.
- 7:26SPEAKER_02: Like, people would love to hear this, like you're so good at it.
- 7:29SPEAKER_02: And I thought, no one's gonna want to hear from me.
- 7:31SPEAKER_02: I'm just Emma from Dorset.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: Like, why on earth would they want to hear from me?
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: So um, after much pressuring, I started up a Facebook page called Extreme Coupon in Deal GK.
- 7:42SPEAKER_02: And within six months, it just really like flew from there.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: Like, I never had any expectations for it.
- 7:47SPEAKER_02: I never intended it to be a business.
- 7:49SPEAKER_02: I had a job, I didn't know how to run a business, I didn't even know you could have a business in that.
- 7:53SPEAKER_02: Um, so the press started getting involved, and we had like over half a million followers within the space of a year.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: It was wild.
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: Um, and I was going on, you know, national TV shows here in the UK, presenting money saving spots, and I was kind of just almost like thrust into this very different world that I was used to, but I was so happy because I was helping people not get into debt but get out of debt and helping them in a different way with money.
- 8:18SPEAKER_02: So that's how my sort of first business came about.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: And then in 2016, at the end of another not very nice relationship, I then had my spiritual awakening.
- 8:27SPEAKER_02: So I would have said I was very like atheist before.
- 8:30SPEAKER_02: I think I was, I guess, Christian when I was a child.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: I feel like in the UK, that's very sort of like just put on you that you should just, you know, be Christian.
- 8:37SPEAKER_02: Um say, like I chose to be Christian, I would say it was just the culture and what was the kind of norm in the UK.
- 8:44SPEAKER_02: And yeah, so I think after that, I was very atheist throughout my sort of teenage years and going into adulthood because I thought, well, why do these bad things happen to people?
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: Like, you know, why have I been left in debt?
- 8:55SPEAKER_02: Why do I have depression?
- 8:57SPEAKER_02: Why do I hate myself?
- 8:58SPEAKER_02: Why am I having suicidal thoughts?
- 9:00SPEAKER_02: I thought, you know, there's no God, there's no universe.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: If, you know, like this is happening to just normal everyday people, it's not fair.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: So when I had my spiritual awakening, it was very abrupt.
- 9:11SPEAKER_02: And it was the point in my life where I was genuinely contemplating, am I gonna take my life or am I gonna change my life?
- 9:18SPEAKER_02: And I knew that I couldn't end my life, I knew that's not what I wanted to do.
- 9:21SPEAKER_02: So I knew that I had to change it.
- 9:23SPEAKER_02: And I remember just looking out the window randomly, like 2 a.m.
- 9:27SPEAKER_02: in the morning one night, and just being like, God help me.
- 9:30SPEAKER_02: And I don't know why I used the words God.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: I don't know why I said that, but I remember it was almost like my ego was giving up and my soul was like, Come on, you know why you're here, come on, remember.
- 9:41SPEAKER_02: That was probably a really big pivotal moment in my life where I finally sort of surrendered and opened up to help, divine help from the universe from source.
- 9:51SPEAKER_02: So a couple of days later, the help came in the form of law of attraction.
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: I started seeing this word everywhere, and I thought, what on earth is this?
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: Like, what on earth is the law of attraction?
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: And I remember typing into Google how to turn a negative situation into a positive because I'd gone through emotional abuse with this boyfriend that I'd just broken up with at that point.
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: And again, I thought, like, how am I here?
- 10:12SPEAKER_02: Again, like, I don't know how to love myself.
- 10:15SPEAKER_02: I don't think I've ever felt self-love.
- 10:17SPEAKER_02: I don't know how to feel happy.
- 10:19SPEAKER_02: There has to be more to life than this.
- 10:20SPEAKER_02: So I was just Googling some stuff.
- 10:22SPEAKER_02: And this woman came up and she was talking about this law of attraction, and it was Louise Hay.
- 10:26SPEAKER_02: And I didn't know who she was at the time.
- 10:29SPEAKER_02: And I thought, this lady's speaking a lot of sense.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: I like what she's saying.
- 10:32SPEAKER_02: So I just sort of like really threw myself into this, just like I did with couponing and read every book on the law of attraction, came across the secret, the magic, really fell in love with it.
- 10:42SPEAKER_02: And it wasn't like a learning, it was like a remembering of like, ah, this makes so much sense.
- 10:47SPEAKER_02: Like, yeah, we really do create our realities.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: And actually, I can see why my past behavior or my past experiences have shaped my reality as such.
- 10:56SPEAKER_02: So, in the space of three weeks, like my whole life looked so different because I was finally doing things for self-love.
- 11:03SPEAKER_02: I learned what self-love and self-care was.
- 11:06SPEAKER_02: Um, I managed to naturally heal my depression through mindset, through inner work, through shifts, which I know is not the case for everybody.
- 11:13SPEAKER_02: So I was really, really lucky that I feel mine was like a circumstantial depression rather than a chemical imbalance.
- 11:20SPEAKER_02: So I was very lucky in that respect.
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: So my life looked so different in such a short amount of time from just finding the law of attraction, from trying out these tools and modalities.
- 11:30SPEAKER_02: And I really fell in love with it.
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: And the more I spoke about it on my channels, um, which were obviously still money saving and lifestyle focused at that point.
- 11:37SPEAKER_02: I have my YouTube, my blog, etc., Instagram.
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: The more people are like, we want to know more about this.
- 11:42SPEAKER_02: So I kind of made the decision in 2018 to switch fully into spiritual queens, spirituality, law of attraction.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: And I haven't looked back since.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: So I sold my first couponing business because it felt right to let that go and let someone else grow it even bigger because it needed a team of people.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: It got so big, and it felt right for me to now evolve even more and help people, yeah, with like law of attraction and manifestations.
- 12:05SPEAKER_02: So my money work still comes into it, definitely.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: But yeah, that's been my journey so far.
- 12:10SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's so cool.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: I love that you did like the whole extreme couponing thing before that.
- 12:17SPEAKER_01: I feel like it just it seems random, but I feel like it actually like goes kind of perfectly, especially because I love what you said about how like you didn't even know that you could start a business doing that, but it just kind of evolved.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: Cause I feel like those are the things that I think happen so easily and naturally because you're like not attached to it.
- 12:37SPEAKER_01: Like you're not, oh, I need to make this happen.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: This has to be a success.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: You're just like, I don't know, just see what's happening, and then it kind of happens.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: I feel like that's always with those kind of things, because we're not attached to it, it happens so much easier.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: So I love that so much.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: So then how do you work with clients now?
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: Like, do you do like one-on-one coaching or do you do groups, or how does that work?
- 13:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so now my business looks very different to how it did, obviously, in the couponing days.
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I do one-to-one sessions of people.
- 13:09SPEAKER_02: So I do um life coaching if people want to work on like manifestation or their spiritual connection or inner work.
- 13:16SPEAKER_02: So my work focuses definitely on manifestation and spirituality, but also more the inner work because I really feel that's so, so important when we're doing that manifestation work as well.
- 13:25SPEAKER_02: So I'm really big into inner child work, really big into like limiting beliefs and fears, and I love helping people to bust through those and you know, like really attract their desires because I feel like there's so many misconceptions with the law of attraction that I really love like finding those problems and saying, right, here's the solution.
- 13:43SPEAKER_02: Um, and I think that's what my books have definitely echoed.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: So I've got books as well.
- 13:47SPEAKER_02: I've got my YouTube channel, my podcast, which you're coming on as well, Spiritual Queens Badass Podcast.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: And I do group settings as well.
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: So I have group courses as well.
- 13:56SPEAKER_02: So uh yeah, do a bit of everything.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: I feel like there are so many like directions I wanted to go with this.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Well, first of all, okay, I would love to talk about the misconceptions of the law of attraction because I think this is so important.
- 14:09SPEAKER_01: And I know even for me, like when I first started, one of the first things I was introduced to too when I was like in my early 20s was Louise Hay and like the Abraham Hicks stuff and the law of attraction and all of that.
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: And I think back then I had a lot of misconceptions about it too, where you just kind of think, oh, well, I just have to think that I'm gonna be rich, or I just have to think that like everything's gonna be okay.
- 14:32SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's a part of it, but there's so much more to it.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: So can you kind of break it down from your perspective?
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: What are some of those misconceptions?
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: And then how can we like look at it differently?
- 14:43SPEAKER_02: Definitely, yeah.
- 14:44SPEAKER_02: So I feel like when I read The Secret, read the magic Rhonda Wern, Rhonda Burns books, I feel like I got so much from it, but I feel like there was always like so many questions as well.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: Of like, so I would see results, I would be manifesting things, like I'd set these intentions, I'd ask, I'd believe, and I would receive.
- 15:02SPEAKER_02: But then like the bigger desires or the things that I really, really wanted would not materialize or there'd be struggle.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: And I think, hang on a minute, how can I manifest like money or the simple things really easily without even having to put much effort in?
- 15:15SPEAKER_02: Whereas these things I actually really want, like a healthy, loving relationship or business success or whatever it was, um, came much harder.
- 15:23SPEAKER_02: And I thought, okay, what what's happening here?
- 15:26SPEAKER_02: And I realized that the three steps ask, believe, receive, are just not comprehensive enough.
- 15:30SPEAKER_02: Like that was written nearly 20 years ago, like it's a long time ago now.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: Things have changed, we've so progressed in the world, and I think even the energy is so much different in our world now as well.
- 15:41SPEAKER_02: So it's just not comprehensive enough.
- 15:44SPEAKER_02: And I think sometimes people get so caught up in that belief step in step two that they don't really understand what that step actually means.
- 15:52SPEAKER_02: So I feel like I broke it down into five steps to really just simplify that process and separate each step so people can follow it along really easily and understand what goes into each step.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: So I think there are five steps.
- 16:05SPEAKER_02: I know a lot of people have different thoughts and different steps.
- 16:08SPEAKER_02: So these are what I believe and what I've seen the biggest results with in my own life with my clients and followers.
- 16:14SPEAKER_02: So ask is the first step.
- 16:15SPEAKER_02: So same as the first one, um the traditional steps.
- 16:18SPEAKER_02: And it's really about getting clear.
- 16:20SPEAKER_02: So being clear with your manifestations, it's not enough to just be like, I just want to manifest some money.
- 16:25SPEAKER_02: Well, a pound, a dollar could come to you.
- 16:27SPEAKER_02: Like, how much do you want to manifest?
- 16:29SPEAKER_02: So clarity is key and asking is key.
- 16:32SPEAKER_02: If we don't ask, we don't get.
- 16:34SPEAKER_02: So a lot of the time people will come to my work and say, you know, I've done a vision board, I've done X, Y, Z six months ago, haven't seen anything.
- 16:42SPEAKER_02: I'm like, okay, what are you doing day to day, month to month to manifest that?
- 16:46SPEAKER_02: What are you doing regularly to manifest regularly?
- 16:49SPEAKER_02: So we have to set intentions regularly to receive regularly.
- 16:52SPEAKER_02: It's that simple.
- 16:53SPEAKER_02: So having weekly goals or manifestations, having monthly goals or manifestations are so important.
- 16:58SPEAKER_02: And even if you've got a 10-month goal or a year goal, that could be broken down into actionable steps that you can take each and every month, for example.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: So asking is asking with clarity and asking regularly.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: Um, and being specific, because the more clear you are with the universe, the more clarity the universe can reflect back to you.
- 17:16SPEAKER_02: Because remember, it's that one big energetic mirror at the end of the day.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: So the more we show up with clarity, the more the universe reflects that clarity back to us.
- 17:24SPEAKER_02: And what we really, really want.
- 17:26SPEAKER_02: Step two is still believe, as it is the traditional step.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: But this step, I describe it a little bit different because really this is where we do the inner work.
- 17:34SPEAKER_02: So when people set their intentions, they very normally then hit this roadblock like what I did, where these niggling limiting beliefs and fears or resistance comes up, and they're like, You're not, you know, our ego's like, you're not worthy, like you can't do this.
- 17:46SPEAKER_02: Who are you to have this?
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: We all know the stories, right?
- 17:49SPEAKER_02: That our ego, our inner critic, tells us.
- 17:51SPEAKER_02: So this is where that inner work comes up, where we have to look at what blocks us and is in the way of us receiving our desires.
- 17:58SPEAKER_02: So this can be limiting beliefs or fears, blocks, resistance, energy.
- 18:03SPEAKER_02: Energy is so important with the law of attraction as well.
- 18:05SPEAKER_02: So it's actually about, you know, our energetics and how in alignment we are with our desire and with the energy of our desire.
- 18:12SPEAKER_02: So moving on to step three.
- 18:14SPEAKER_02: So that's what I see in step two.
- 18:15SPEAKER_02: And I think so much is crammed into step two traditionally that it's not really clear what believe is.
- 18:20SPEAKER_02: Yes, it's believing you're worthy and deserving.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: Yes, it's believing the universe can serve it, but it's also looking at what's in between resistance-wise and clearing that so we can move through to those next steps.
- 18:32SPEAKER_02: So, step three is a new step, trust.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: And in this step, it's all about aligned and inspired action.
- 18:37SPEAKER_02: So it's trusting in the process, trusting in the universe, trusting in divine timing that your desire will come to you in the perfect timing, but it's also about where you take your inspired action.
- 18:47SPEAKER_02: So, manifestation is a co-creation process, it's about meeting the universe halfway.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: So you go 50% of the way, and the universe meets you 50%.
- 18:56SPEAKER_02: Not 90-10, not 10-90, 50-50.
- 18:59SPEAKER_02: And I think we can all hold our hands up.
- 19:01SPEAKER_02: And I'm definitely a 90% manifesto, I don't know about you, but where we kind of almost like go above and beyond what like I will make this happen.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: And then you have those 10% manifestors who are sat on the sofa and they're like, I'm gonna win the lottery, and they're not even playing the lottery.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: So you really find there's like this total mix of like 10% manifestors, 90% manifestors.
- 19:26SPEAKER_02: So we want to be a 50% manifesto where we're going halfway and the universe is meeting us halfway as well.
- 19:32SPEAKER_02: So we need to take inspired action and it needs to feel aligned and inspired to us.
- 19:36SPEAKER_02: So a lot of the time, what I didn't like with old law of attraction teachings was oh, you know, if you want to go and be rich, you need to go and spend loads of money.
- 19:44SPEAKER_02: That is so not true at all.
- 19:46SPEAKER_02: Because the energy of that, if you just go and frivolously spend money, you're gonna come back and think, great, I've got all this stuff, but oh my God, I do not want to look at my bank balance.
- 19:55SPEAKER_02: Oh God, I shouldn't have done that.
- 19:57SPEAKER_02: And you're gonna be full of anxiety, your vibes are gonna be lowered.
- 20:01SPEAKER_02: It's not the expansive energy that we want to be in.
- 20:04SPEAKER_02: So I really think mindful spending is better, where you can spend from a place on things which feel like a hell yes.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: So when we're doing it from a space where it feels good, it's in alignment, and it feels like that hell yes, the energy of that item or service, the energy of that exchange, the energy of the money in your bank account still will be so much more positive and will create that expansive container for money to come in.
- 20:28SPEAKER_02: So in the trust step, we also start to act as if.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: So it's really thinking about, you know, what would this version of me do if they had this desire in their life and really thinking about how they would feel, you know, like what they'd be doing day to day, what they'd be wearing, who they'd be around, what would their worries be?
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: I think I always think that's a good idea to ask yourself of what would their worries be if they had the desire?
- 20:49SPEAKER_02: Because it probably wouldn't be much.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: They'd be like chilling, they'd be happy, they'd be like, Yay, my desire's here.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: So ask yourself those questions when you get to this third step.
- 20:58SPEAKER_02: So if you you need to take inspired action to get into the field of possibility and opportunity, so we have to put ourselves out there essentially without overdoing it.
- 21:07SPEAKER_02: So that's our third step trust.
- 21:09SPEAKER_02: Then fourth step is letting go.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: So again, something which was so missed out of old school teachings.
- 21:15SPEAKER_02: And I don't think I'd ever let go a day in my life until I read some Gabby Burns scene.
- 21:20SPEAKER_02: Honestly, like I was so attached to my desires.
- 21:23SPEAKER_02: No wonder they weren't manifesting.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: So this I feel is arguably one of the most important steps in the process.
- 21:29SPEAKER_02: Asking, I would say, is probably the most important because we need to ask, but letting go and surrendering is also a really important step.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: And I think a lot of people get confused and think that it's giving up or like, oh, I don't want this anymore, but I do want it.
- 21:42SPEAKER_02: Why have I got to let it go?
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: And it's not about saying you're giving up or that it's not happened.
- 21:47SPEAKER_02: It's actually about just releasing the attachment to the outcome.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: So I think a good thing to always say with manifestation is this or something better for the highest good of all.
- 21:55SPEAKER_02: So you're saying like this or something better, because I don't know about you, but there are Been so many times in my life where I've been like, I know this is so meant for me, and I know this is great.
- 22:06SPEAKER_02: And I look back, and obviously I've got like rejected from whatever, and I look back and think, thank God, like I did not know what was meant for me at all.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, totally.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: And the other thing that I always say too is think about any time that you manifested something or something came in, it never ever once comes in in the way that you think or shows up in the way that you think it's going to.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: And you could have never guessed how it was going to show up.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: So I feel like that's another huge part of it, too, is like letting go of the how.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Because I think people want to know, like they think that's gonna like make them safer or something if they like know how it's gonna come in, but you can never know how it's gonna come in.
- 22:49SPEAKER_02: No, so true, so so true.
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: I don't think I've had one manifestation where I've been like knew it would happen like that.
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: Never.
- 22:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I've had like intuitive hits where I'm like, oh, I feel like it's close, or you know, but I would say it's more for like smaller things where I've been like, oh, I really think I'm gonna get some money say or something.
- 23:05SPEAKER_02: Intuition can help directors, obviously, but yeah, like the big things in my life, whether it's being a book deal or manifesting love or anything, like I've been none the wiser, none the wiser.
- 23:17SPEAKER_02: And then I'm like, oh my god, I manifested that.
- 23:19SPEAKER_02: So I think it's nice because the universe has to almost catch us by surprise, otherwise, we would control it.
- 23:25SPEAKER_02: And I think at the end of the day, like you say, when people are attached, it's control.
- 23:29SPEAKER_02: We we've like, well, if I can control this, then yeah, and that can come down to limiting beliefs and fears, absolutely, and that resistance is step two, but also in step four, it's really about getting present.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: So a lot of the time people can future trip and be like, well, I'll be okay when this happens, I'll be happy when this happens and like my manifestation comes.
- 23:47SPEAKER_02: But the truth is that's never gonna happen because you have to be happy here and now to receive it.
- 23:52SPEAKER_02: And the only place you can receive your desire is here in the present moment.
- 23:56SPEAKER_02: So really getting joyful and present is so, so important because joy is the ultimate creator.
- 24:02SPEAKER_02: So getting joyful, being present, feeling gratitude and appreciation for where you are now without needing your desire is so, so important in this stage.
- 24:11SPEAKER_02: And I always loved this um famous quote that I was told that I've lived by, which is needing nothing attracts everything.
- 24:18SPEAKER_02: And I thought, what a bizarre thing to say.
- 24:21SPEAKER_02: Like and I live by it now because it's so true of you can have intention, you can have aspirations, you can have goals, but it's about saying, you know, I trust, like here and now, all is well.
- 24:33SPEAKER_02: I'm happy, I'm healthy, I'm so grateful for all the things that I have.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: And if that desire was to come into my life, wow, I'd be so happy.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: That'd be awesome.
- 24:41SPEAKER_02: But I don't need it.
- 24:42SPEAKER_02: I'm not there desperate and feeling lack and wanting it.
- 24:46SPEAKER_02: Because remember, that divine mirror reflects exactly back to us what we're putting out into the universe.
- 24:51SPEAKER_02: So if we're putting out lack or desperation or want, guess what's going to get reflected back to you?
- 24:57SPEAKER_02: But when you're in that place of relaxation and joy and gratitude and present moment, boom, it's like a magnet.
- 25:04SPEAKER_02: It just comes at you because you've naturally let go and surrendered.
- 25:07SPEAKER_02: And the fifth step, receiving again, one of the traditional steps, is I think misunderstood again because in the secret, it's very much like, yeah, your desire's here.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: Celebrate, woo, amazing.
- 25:18SPEAKER_02: And yeah, that's true.
- 25:20SPEAKER_02: It is part of that step.
- 25:21SPEAKER_02: But how do you actually get to receiving?
- 25:23SPEAKER_02: Receiving is an energy, and receiving is still a step.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: It's still a step in the process.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: And I always love to ask this question to people of like, how much do you allow yourself to receive in life?
- 25:34SPEAKER_02: Not just manifestations, but everything, support, love, whatever, like from your partner, from your family, from your friends, from your children.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: Like, how much do you allow yourself to receive?
- 25:44SPEAKER_02: Because I think this is again something which us humans really struggle to do sometimes.
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: They're very much givers, very much doers.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: But actually, for me, a lot of my journey was allowing myself to receive and actually truly stepping back into that 50% space and allowing myself to be met with that support and abundance.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a hundred percent.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: I think receiving is a huge thing.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: One of the things that I always talk about too with people is, you know, just some of the wounding that we have around receiving, too, that I feel like has to kind of come up to be cleared in order to kind of get to this.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: Because a lot of like our trauma from childhood and stuff, we can start to negatively associate receiving with like pain or hurt because our parents couldn't take care of us in the way that we needed or couldn't connect with us in the way that we needed, then we subconsciously associate receiving with something negative or like something bad is gonna happen on a subconscious level.
- 26:41SPEAKER_01: So it's like so important to acknowledge some of those deeper wounds so that we actually can receive.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Because I feel like that's why people feel so much more comfortable in the giving mode because you know, you're like more in control over things, whereas like receiving can feel scary.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: So I think that's a huge step that a lot of people don't necessarily take into consideration, and then also being in that place where you're not feeling lack and scarcity about it.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: Like I always tell people you can't be like codependent with your desires.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: It's like, oh, well, I'm not gonna be okay until I get that, like you said.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: And then that just creates more of that codependent feeling.
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: So that's so important.
- 27:22SPEAKER_01: I love all of that.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: One of the things that I think people would want to know is like for you, what are some of the ways that you help people shift those limiting beliefs or the resistance or the blocks that come up?
- 27:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so it's very exciting stuff.
- 27:37SPEAKER_02: And I think so many people like come across the law of attraction, they read the books, they might read my book, they might read the secret or something else, and they want to give it a go and they give it a go, they go all in, they have lots of fun, they get some results, but then they're like, Oh, I'm still not quite getting that big desire.
- 27:53SPEAKER_02: I'm not quite still getting that house or that career or that love or whatever.
- 27:57SPEAKER_02: And I think it can become really frustrating for people.
- 28:00SPEAKER_02: And another misconception I hear is like, maybe it just doesn't work for me, Emma.
- 28:03SPEAKER_02: Like, maybe just the law of attraction isn't for me.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: So please, if you're listening and you feel like you're that person, we can assure you it really does work.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: It really is for everybody.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: It is just a case of working through those blocks and understanding the process, even just knowing those five steps sometimes really helps to unblock people because they're like, ah, I haven't been doing that trust step or that letting go step.
- 28:24SPEAKER_02: So knowing those five steps is such a great clarity exercise, anyway.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: But really, what I then help people do through my books, I go deeper, way deeper in my books.
- 28:34SPEAKER_02: My new book, Hurt Healing Healed, that comes out in October, available for pre-order now.
- 28:39SPEAKER_02: And obviously, it's worldwide, you can get it anywhere.
- 28:42SPEAKER_02: I really wanted to go deeper with that book because Positively Wealthy, my second book, was more like that fun challenge book where it took you a bit deeper, it kind of dipped your toes into the inner work, got you some great results, and kind of was a great 33-day fun challenge to do.
- 28:57SPEAKER_02: Whereas when I really like channeled this book and really knew this was the book coming through, I was like, okay, this is like real deep.
- 29:03SPEAKER_02: And it took me on a really deep healing journey myself of over the last two years of doing so much more inner child work, healing wounds, looking at ancestral trauma as well.
- 29:13SPEAKER_02: I got diagnosed with PTSD through this journey as well, of writing this book.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: So all my inner work came up to the surface through it.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: The full initiation happened.
- 29:22SPEAKER_02: So for me, I'm really passionate about helping people to go deeper with it, of saying, okay, you've tried all these things, you've tried the book, you've tried the five steps, you've tried all the fun processes.
- 29:33SPEAKER_02: So now we need to do that inner work.
- 29:35SPEAKER_02: So my membership, for example, is a great little monthly little space that we all connect in where you get a spiritual theme each month.
- 29:41SPEAKER_02: And that really just again dips your toes in, you learn some great things, some industry experts come in, um, and that's really fun.
- 29:47SPEAKER_02: Whereas my sort of one-to-one spaces and like courses and things tend to focus more on that inner work, whether it's inner child work, whether it's limiting beliefs and fears.
- 29:56SPEAKER_02: So, really, I look at the kind of spiritual side of things.
- 29:59SPEAKER_02: So I always work with spiritual, practical, and cognitive because I feel like that's something I really hit a roadblock with in my own healing journey was I was doing all the spiritual stuff, meditating, connecting to my womb space, like all the spiritual things.
- 30:13SPEAKER_02: And I was like, hmm, these thoughts are still there.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: Hmm, there's still illness in my body.
- 30:18SPEAKER_02: What's happening here?
- 30:19SPEAKER_02: So I had a chronic acne, hormone imbalance for about three years after a really stressful relationship.
- 30:26SPEAKER_02: So I tried everything, and this acne was not budging, and this hormone imbalance was not budging.
- 30:31SPEAKER_02: So I obviously had to do something physical to help the hormone imbalance, which was supplementing and looking after my health and looking at a more holistic way of balancing that.
- 30:41SPEAKER_02: But I then also started to look at the cognitive side of things.
- 30:44SPEAKER_02: So then I would say, okay, we have a spiritual body, we have a soul, yes, all those things work, Emma.
- 30:49SPEAKER_02: But you also have a human mind that has conditioning, that has patterns, that is very much in need of rewiring.
- 30:57SPEAKER_02: So for me, I'm really passionate about bringing it all three into this because I have been through that myself where I've seen the benefits of integrating all three.
- 31:07SPEAKER_02: And when you integrate all three, you know, the power of three, um, mind, body, spirit, we all know those sayings, that it really does embody that healing.
- 31:15SPEAKER_02: And I think a lot of the times when people look at healing, they look at meditation, which is so powerful and needed, and they look at maybe journaling or mirror work or things like that, and all of those things are fantastic.
- 31:28SPEAKER_02: But sometimes, especially like in my instance where I did have, you know, a lot of trauma in my past and abuse, I had to deal with that.
- 31:35SPEAKER_02: And I had to deal with that in the body and I had to deal with it in the mind.
- 31:38SPEAKER_02: So I don't do all of those things in my work, obviously, but I focus more on the spiritual side of things and the cognitive side of things.
- 31:47SPEAKER_02: But for me, I'm really passionate about going deeper with people because the deeper I've gone in my healing journey, the bigger the abundance.
- 31:56SPEAKER_02: And, you know, I've been able to manifest all the things that I've wanted in my life from healing the past, from going into that.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: So my new book takes you into that and walks you into that inner work with fun practices and journaling exercises.
- 32:10SPEAKER_02: So it guides you throughout the book in those three stages of hurt healing healed.
- 32:14SPEAKER_02: So um, I feel like it's getting deeper my work.
- 32:17SPEAKER_02: I feel like it started off as like law of attraction, spirituality.
- 32:20SPEAKER_02: And I feel like as I've gone down my journey and like looked at my blocks and worked through those, I've seen, okay, right, we really do need to focus on those other areas as well.
- 32:30SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, a hundred percent.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Well, it's funny because I feel like, you know, with my work, I focus more on the healing.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, we do manifestation, we do spiritual, you like your spiritual gifts and the manifestation stuff just happens naturally, like when you do that deep healing work, you know?
- 32:48SPEAKER_01: So it's just like a byproduct kind of that like things just become easier, so much easier for you when you do like the deeper trauma work.
- 32:57SPEAKER_01: Were you able to kind of pinpoint?
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: I'm curious if you don't mind sharing, like, were you able to pinpoint what were some of like the beliefs or thoughts that were kind of running the program that might have been behind like your acne or the other like problems you were having?
- 33:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, definitely.
- 33:14SPEAKER_02: So I feel like there's been so much that it's like hard to be like, that's the one belief that was causing the acne.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 33:21SPEAKER_02: So I had um hyperlactin, which is part of the paturity gland.
- 33:25SPEAKER_02: So basically the the sexual hormone prolactin was extremely high, in their words, was extremely high.
- 33:31SPEAKER_02: And I thought, oh my god, like so.
- 33:32SPEAKER_02: I had to go for a full body scan, and obviously they had to make sure I didn't have prolactinoma, which is a benign tumor on the paturity gland.
- 33:40SPEAKER_02: And you know, all of this was really scary to hear because I thought, oh my god, this has gone undiagnosed for years.
- 33:46SPEAKER_02: Like, my doctors didn't care.
- 33:47SPEAKER_02: This was only because I went private, because I knew something was seriously wrong.
- 33:51SPEAKER_02: That I was like, I'm going private and I'm paying for these blood tests, I'm paying for proper care.
- 33:56SPEAKER_02: And they found it within two weeks.
- 33:58SPEAKER_02: And, you know, I was so grateful that I had done that because I trusted my intuition that I knew, I'd done everything that I could with supplements, there's something going on here.
- 34:07SPEAKER_02: So when they found it out, they were like, we're just gonna monitor it, like it's not prolactinoma, which was such a relief when I got that news.
- 34:14SPEAKER_02: And they said, you know, it's just gonna be a monitoring case.
- 34:17SPEAKER_02: And they just said, you know, relax.
- 34:19SPEAKER_02: And I was like, great, just told to relax.
- 34:21SPEAKER_02: That's easier said than done.
- 34:22SPEAKER_02: Thank you.
- 34:24SPEAKER_02: So I took it upon myself to um do a lot of research, and I found that vitamin E, B6, yoga, and other um obviously inner work as well was really, really good for lowering it.
- 34:35SPEAKER_02: So in the space of four months, I got my score from I think it was 1500 down to 356, completely natural.
- 34:43SPEAKER_02: And my doctor was like, How the hell have you done this?
- 34:45SPEAKER_02: And I said, like, yoga, you know, vitamin E, B6, and also I've been, you know, dealing with the stress factors that contributed to that.
- 34:53SPEAKER_02: So, you know, it still remained in that balanced, healthy place.
- 34:56SPEAKER_02: So, you know, I'm so grateful that I really pushed for that diagnosis and I really pushed myself to heal it naturally as well.
- 35:04SPEAKER_02: So I did do the physical things with that, but really I did so many different modalities over those two years of writing that book that I it's hard to pinpoint the one belief, but there was definitely a disconnection to my feminine.
- 35:16SPEAKER_02: So I very naturally sat in my divine masculine energy most of my life.
- 35:21SPEAKER_02: Um I do embody that more so than the feminine.
- 35:24SPEAKER_02: So it's definitely balancing the feminine energy for me, but I was also abusing the masculine energy as well.
- 35:29SPEAKER_02: So balancing those both energies were really, really pivotal in my journey.
- 35:34SPEAKER_02: Healing the womb space, definitely, because obviously all my acne was like reproductive area.
- 35:39SPEAKER_02: So healing the womb space was a big one for me.
- 35:42SPEAKER_02: And I feel like as I look back, because basically the beginning of this year, as I ironically finished writing the book, basically, as I've explained in my sort of awakening story, like you can see the negative relationships that were there, the abuse that has happened in my adult years since turning 18.
- 35:59SPEAKER_02: But doing this work, training in it myself, and I'm trained in the child work as well, it was almost like I was missing this missing puzzle piece of okay, so 18 plus that makes sense, but you were doing some like weird stuff back in your teenagers, and where did all of that manifest from?
- 36:17SPEAKER_02: So it was almost like it didn't make sense.
- 36:20SPEAKER_02: And you know, like my parents were good parents.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: There was nothing in my childhood that I could really be like, that's what happened, and that is what has caused all the trauma, abuse, and difficult situations in my life.
- 36:31SPEAKER_02: So it almost felt like it didn't make sense, and I felt like almost didn't really know myself either because I thought, well, I've worked with so many people and they've always had something in their childhood that has started this.
- 36:42SPEAKER_02: I don't have that.
- 36:44SPEAKER_02: So ironically, finished the book, was still working through my PTSD healing with EMDR and IEMT therapies and doing all this inner work.
- 36:53SPEAKER_02: And then suddenly this year it just came out that I experienced abuse in my childhood from someone who I was left in the care of.
- 37:00SPEAKER_02: And I had no idea of this.
- 37:02SPEAKER_02: I completely suppressed it.
- 37:04SPEAKER_02: So it was almost like this moment of, oh my God, like I've gone throughout my whole life not knowing this, and now I do know it.
- 37:11SPEAKER_02: And obviously, it was a relief in some forms because I knew it.
- 37:15SPEAKER_02: So I feel like the acne was definitely contributed from previous relationships because it was not a great relationship.
- 37:22SPEAKER_02: It was very toxic, very emotionally abusive.
- 37:25SPEAKER_02: So the stress and everything, like absolutely that's what caused the acne.
- 37:29SPEAKER_02: But I feel like overall, the healing journey and the beliefs have very much been a codependency healing, absolutely, and very much balancing those masculine and feminine energies and really coming into back into a space of unconditional love.
- 37:44SPEAKER_02: I feel like I never knew what that meant for me.
- 37:46SPEAKER_02: I never knew how to love someone unconditionally either.
- 37:49SPEAKER_02: I feel like there was always blocks.
- 37:52SPEAKER_02: And again, another ironic thing that came up for me is that I would always manifest men who had commitment issues.
- 37:59SPEAKER_02: And it was only when one of my coach and therapists said to me, You've got commitment issues, Emma, that I thought, what are you on about?
- 38:06SPEAKER_02: No, I don't.
- 38:06SPEAKER_02: I want to get married, I want to have children.
- 38:08SPEAKER_02: That's the very thing I want to manifest.
- 38:09SPEAKER_02: What are you on about?
- 38:11SPEAKER_02: And unpacking that was massive because I realized that because of this experience in my childhood, because of these experiences throughout my teenagers and older, I did have a fear of commitment, a big one.
- 38:23SPEAKER_02: And I was manifesting those emotionally unavailable guys to keep it safe.
- 38:28SPEAKER_02: And it was a big realization for me.
- 38:30SPEAKER_02: So yeah, I feel like all of those things kind of like pieced into everything.
- 38:35SPEAKER_02: And it just got deeper and deeper the more I went into it.
- 38:38SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you so much for sharing that.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: And like, this is what I love to talk about because these are the things that really matter and that are so important.
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: And I've had many clients at this point who've had a similar experience where they haven't remembered abuse that had happened in the past, and then like it'll surface somehow, whether it's in our work together or like, you know, usually that during the time that we're working together, like someone will it'll they'll have a random memory or a dream and they're like, I don't know if this happened, or like, why am I remembering this?
- 39:12SPEAKER_01: And um, at the end of the day, I feel like it actually doesn't even matter to figure out like, did this happen?
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: Is this real?
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: If it's something that's living in your consciousness and it is affecting you in that way, then that's all we need to know, right?
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: Um, and it can be affecting you in so many different ways.
- 39:30SPEAKER_01: So that's why it's so important to like just keep going down that road of doing that work because there's always gonna be things that we don't remember, always that like somehow end up surfacing.
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: And I have so many people say to me too that they don't remember a lot of their childhood.
- 39:46SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: And I think that's actually a more common thing than we think.
- 39:50SPEAKER_01: And also I feel like sometimes, even for me, like I'll think I remember a lot of things, and then people say something to me, like, oh, do you remember on this or on that?
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, I have no idea what you're talking about.
- 40:02SPEAKER_01: Um, and so I think we also kind of like remember things the way we want to remember them.
- 40:08SPEAKER_01: Like, even like I do a lot of um work with clients around their birth story and when they were in the womb and stuff.
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: I always say to people, like, you can ask your mom, but your mom might actually tell you an entirely different story than you remember on like a physiological level, right?
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Like you might not remember it on like a verbal level, obviously you're in the womb, but you do have a physiological memory of that on an energetic level.
- 40:35SPEAKER_01: And your mom might be like, oh, it was great, everything was perfect.
- 40:39SPEAKER_01: You had, you know, and because your mom is like remembering what she wants to remember, right?
- 40:44SPEAKER_01: But that might not match up to what you actually feel on an energetic level.
- 40:48SPEAKER_01: So my point is that we can't always immediately trust the memory.
- 40:54SPEAKER_01: And the other thing I find too with clients is like sometimes it takes a little bit of deep diving before we even kind of start to acknowledge some of the deeper things, like you know, like how our parents treated us or how we witnessed our parents treat each other.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Because in childhood, we just think everything's normal.
- 41:13SPEAKER_01: Because you're a kid, you like don't know.
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: You don't know there's a different way.
- 41:18SPEAKER_01: Like you might feel like, oh, that doesn't feel good, but you don't know that it's not normal.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: So you kind of just be like, okay, whatever, that's just happening.
- 41:27SPEAKER_01: So that's why it's so important to like, because I feel like some people have this misconception of like, oh well, my childhood was fine, like everything was fine.
- 41:36SPEAKER_01: I don't really need to do this deeper work.
- 41:38SPEAKER_01: But I always tell people like, if there is anything in your life that you want and it's not showing up, or anything that you are wanting to change and you're having trouble changing it, there's some trauma that you need to look at and heal, whether you realize it or not.
- 41:53SPEAKER_01: And sometimes you won't realize it until you dive down.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: And it kind of sounds like this book for you was almost like a carrot at the end of the like kind of being held out to you be like, Come on, you gotta go down this path.
- 42:06SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: So I love that.
- 42:09SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for sharing that.
- 42:11SPEAKER_01: And that, so that book had comes out in October, right?
- 42:14SPEAKER_02: Yes, yeah.
- 42:15SPEAKER_02: And I'm really excited about it because I think it's such a different way to look at the law of attraction and manifestation.
- 42:21SPEAKER_02: And, you know, three years ago when I started really getting into limiting beliefs and fears and like working on things that were coming up for me, um, you know, I typed into Google books on limiting beliefs and fears, nothing.
- 42:32SPEAKER_02: So I was like, okay, I'm gonna write the book then.
- 42:35SPEAKER_02: And I went along that journey and, you know, I did so much field research and obviously like went along my own healing journey, went and tried so many different modalities.
- 42:43SPEAKER_02: And what you were saying there about not needing to know whether it happened or not was something I really had to accept on that journey because I did some family consolations therapy as well, which was so much fun.
- 42:52SPEAKER_02: I loved that.
- 42:53SPEAKER_02: And you know, there were things I would find out about like my grandparents that I never knew and they passed away by that point.
- 43:00SPEAKER_02: So, you know, I couldn't just go to my parents and say, Did my nan experience that?
- 43:03SPEAKER_02: Was that why she caused so much trauma to all of our family?
- 43:07SPEAKER_02: Because, you know, my mum probably wouldn't know, like, we would never know those things.
- 43:10SPEAKER_02: So, and I think as well, like along my healing journey, you know, I questioned so much of the time, did that actually happen or are you making it up?
- 43:19SPEAKER_02: And then when I found out that that abuse that happened in my childhood, the very thing that it was was, did I make it up or did it happen?
- 43:28SPEAKER_02: Um, so even just finding that piece of like, actually, I don't need to know whether it happened or not, it's there, that core memory is there, that trauma is there, the PTSD is there, I just need to release it was healing.
- 43:40SPEAKER_02: So instead of attaching to the identity of that happened to me, I just more or less detached from it and said, you know, it's okay, it's coming up.
- 43:48SPEAKER_02: I can't see it fully.
- 43:50SPEAKER_02: I don't know all the details, but that is coming up and we're gonna release it.
- 43:53SPEAKER_02: So I think it's important for people to, yeah, see it with non judgment, see it with non attachment, have compassion for.
- 44:00SPEAKER_02: For yourself first and foremost, but compassion for that situation.
- 44:04SPEAKER_02: So the book is definitely on manifestation and the law of attraction.
- 44:08SPEAKER_02: So it's really looking at the limiting beliefs, fears, and trauma that stop us from manifesting.
- 44:13SPEAKER_02: So you have three sections of hurt healing healed.
- 44:16SPEAKER_02: And I move you through the chapters, through the sections, to that place of healed where you're not operating from that limiting belief and fear.
- 44:23SPEAKER_02: So um I've had some test readers read it already because I always like to do that just to make sure people understand it.
- 44:29SPEAKER_02: It's easy, it's digestible.
- 44:30SPEAKER_02: And um, yeah, the comments that I've had back as feedback are just incredible because it makes me so happy that people are getting the same results that I got from my journey because that's what I want people to experience, to have that freedom, to have that unconditional love again and to have that joy for life.
- 44:47SPEAKER_01: I love that so much.
- 44:49SPEAKER_01: And I think, you know, it is so important what you were saying about not needing to be attached to it or kind of like then have the story of, oh, well, this is what happened to me, you know.
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: And it's because the other thing too that I see so much and that I'm reminded of so much is we literally carry everything that happened with our ancestors and going down the line.
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: Like we carry all of it in ourselves.
- 45:14SPEAKER_01: So, like whether or not like it happened to you or it happened to somebody down the line, we are being affected by it.
- 45:22SPEAKER_01: So it's so important to just like understand that and just even by just having the acknowledgement of it, it moves the energy, right?
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: Because it's like no longer stuck and it's like no longer in the shadows, I guess you could say.
- 45:35SPEAKER_01: Definitely it's so important to just acknowledge it and move forward and you know continue to clear the energy versus like getting stuck or overwhelmed or trying to figure anything out, you know?
- 45:48SPEAKER_01: So I love that.
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: That's really important.
- 45:50SPEAKER_01: And I love that you're really getting into the deeper work of this because I think I had come at it from a different angle of like the healing experience, and then realizing that that is actually how we manifest is through healing.
- 46:05SPEAKER_01: So I think no matter which way you go at it, you kind of end up getting to the same place of like, okay, there is a deeper healing journey for me here.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: And that's really like again that dangling carrot to be like, okay, you need to go through this healing journey because I truly believe too that so many of us have come into this lifetime to heal with agreements or contracts for healing for like all of our ancestors.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: So I think we're all kind of just drawn to doing this in this lifetime.
- 46:36SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
- 46:37SPEAKER_02: And like, I think there was so much along my journey when I did these family consolation sessions, where it just made sense.
- 46:44SPEAKER_02: And I don't think I had those answers.
- 46:46SPEAKER_02: And I think for so many years, you know, I was like, well, if if my family did things different, or did you know if this happened differently, like my mum could have healing and I could have healing.
- 46:56SPEAKER_02: But I realized that actually when I did the inner work, no matter how big or small, even if it's unrelated to them, my mom was having a knock-on effect.
- 47:03SPEAKER_02: The family was having a knock-on effect.
- 47:05SPEAKER_02: So I think it's great when you show up and you're doing the inner work, like that absolutely has a knock-on effect.
- 47:11SPEAKER_02: And you know, my relationship with my mother line is so different to how it was a few years ago.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, me too.
- 47:18SPEAKER_01: And I always tell people, so I think people have this misconception of that they're gonna have to like heal their relationships with their family members actually, like it with the actual person.
- 47:29SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, no, you actually don't even have to talk to them.
- 47:33SPEAKER_01: That is not what this is about.
- 47:35SPEAKER_01: It's about healing it within yourself, and then it really does affect all of your relationships.
- 47:40SPEAKER_01: My relationship with my mother is so different than it was even just like a year or two ago.
- 47:48SPEAKER_01: And it's not like she's done any work.
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: Like just me.
- 47:54SPEAKER_01: We've paid all the therapy bills, but they've been on the healing, yeah.
- 47:59SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 48:00SPEAKER_01: We have probably had some kind of soul contracts with them where we were like, we're gonna come into this incarnation and take care of it for you.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: Definitely.
- 48:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I love that.
- 48:11SPEAKER_01: So then what is next for you?
- 48:13SPEAKER_01: I know you have this book coming out, but is there anything else on the horizon that you're excited about?
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 48:19SPEAKER_02: So I feel like obviously the initiation of the last book was like a two-year journey.
- 48:24SPEAKER_02: So I feel like I've just wanted to really decompress from that.
- 48:26SPEAKER_02: And like now the editing's done, now it's coming out in October, just spend the summer really like relaxing and just enjoying.
- 48:33SPEAKER_02: Because I feel like I've been so busy the last year or two that I'm like, you know what?
- 48:37SPEAKER_02: I'm just not gonna do anything over the summer until the book's launch because I really just want to, yeah, integrate, just enjoy and have fun.
- 48:44SPEAKER_02: So definitely I'm leaning into more of doing less and attracting more.
- 48:49SPEAKER_02: Definitely.
- 48:50SPEAKER_02: I do have an idea for the next book, and I feel like I'm already going along my journey of what happens after we've healed trauma in terms of like identity and in terms of alignment.
- 49:02SPEAKER_02: I feel like that's what the next book's gonna be on, but I'm definitely not writing that until next year.
- 49:06SPEAKER_02: I have put a promise on myself to give myself some time off.
- 49:10SPEAKER_02: So we'll see.
- 49:11SPEAKER_02: We'll see what happens.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: I think it's so interesting, too, that this happened over the last two years, which was also like this crazy shift in the collective energy.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: Do you feel like that impacted your journey just with everything that happened in the world?
- 49:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, you know, obviously we have the Great Awakening happening.
- 49:30SPEAKER_02: So absolutely, like I feel like literally as soon as lockdown hit 2020, April 2020, boom, inner child work, all of my clients had the same.
- 49:39SPEAKER_02: 2020, I was fully booked for coaching, which was incredible.
- 49:42SPEAKER_02: And I felt so bloomin' lucky because so many businesses did suffer throughout the lockdowns and now recession that we're going through.
- 49:49SPEAKER_02: So I feel really lucky that my business really took off during that time, but I was also extremely burnt out because of the demand of people wanting to deal with their inner work.
- 49:59SPEAKER_02: So I don't know one person who didn't transform during 2020.
- 50:03SPEAKER_02: I don't know one person who's not like I'm a completely different person, two years on, my outlook's different.
- 50:09SPEAKER_02: I've been doing the inner work, I've been, you know, really addressing my even like my muggle friends, as I call them, um, you know, even they've done so much inner work and they don't even know it.
- 50:18SPEAKER_01: So um Right, I know.
- 50:21SPEAKER_01: I totally agree.
- 50:22SPEAKER_01: I feel like even for people who aren't really aware of exactly what's going on, they still had so much transformation.
- 50:29SPEAKER_01: And then when I even look at myself, well, in 2020, I was still a school counselor.
- 50:35SPEAKER_01: Like I didn't, I didn't start my business until early 2020.
- 50:39SPEAKER_01: And when I look back from like then until now, like I literally my life is a complete 180 of what it was before that.
- 50:48SPEAKER_01: It's just crazy.
- 50:49SPEAKER_01: And and I know not everyone is that extreme as me.
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: So I was a school counselor, and then in March of 2020, they shut everything down.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: So I literally didn't have to go to work anymore.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: And no one had figured out online learning either.
- 51:06SPEAKER_01: So I didn't really have that much to do at all.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: Like I maybe worked for maybe an hour a day, sometimes less than that.
- 51:13SPEAKER_01: So in the beginning, yeah, because everyone was just like, they didn't know what was going on.
- 51:18SPEAKER_01: So that's when I just had all this time to like start my business and it just started taking off, you know.
- 51:24SPEAKER_01: And then 2021, it really took off.
- 51:27SPEAKER_01: So it just created the space, and I think it created the space for so many people.
- 51:32SPEAKER_01: You know, I think there was some people obviously that struggled, and I don't want to not take that away, but I think for so many people it created an opportunity to just be like, what the fuck am I doing?
- 51:44SPEAKER_01: You know, literally, yeah.
- 51:46SPEAKER_01: And I know for me, once we left school, I was like, Oh, I'm not going back there.
- 51:52SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm just not, and I never went back.
- 51:53SPEAKER_01: Amazing.
- 51:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and that that was just it.
- 51:56SPEAKER_01: So I think so many people have had that transition.
- 52:00SPEAKER_01: And um, yeah, that's amazing.
- 52:03SPEAKER_01: So we're all gonna be looking for your book.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: Is it gonna be in audio also?
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so being audible, Kindle, paperback, yeah.
- 52:11SPEAKER_01: Okay, good, because I like to listen to books.
- 52:14SPEAKER_01: So I I feel like I consume them way easier when I'm listening.
- 52:18SPEAKER_01: Because I like for some reason, even if I'm just laying in bed, but also I like to listen to them while I'm doing stuff around the house and everything.
- 52:25SPEAKER_01: So, okay, I'm definitely gonna get it.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: It sounds amazing.
- 52:29SPEAKER_01: So, can you tell people where they can find you?
- 52:31SPEAKER_01: Because I'm sure everyone's gonna want to find you if they don't already know you.
- 52:35SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 52:35SPEAKER_02: So I have a website, emma mumford.co.uk, um, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube.
- 52:42SPEAKER_02: I would say my YouTube and my Instagram are where I'm most active, which is at Iam Emma Mumford.
- 52:48SPEAKER_02: So you can just type in my name and it'll all come up on Google or whatever.
- 52:51SPEAKER_02: But yeah, obviously, I post two videos a week on YouTube.
- 52:54SPEAKER_02: I love my YouTube channel.
- 52:55SPEAKER_02: I've had it for eight years now, which seems wild.
- 52:58SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 52:58SPEAKER_02: What do you talk about on YouTube?
- 53:00SPEAKER_02: Like what are your videos about?
- 53:01SPEAKER_02: So it starts off as money saving videos, obviously, with the previous business.
- 53:05SPEAKER_02: But now I talk all things law of attraction, spirituality, manifestations, self-help.
- 53:10SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I kind of go into again deeper in a work, of course, but all spiritual themes we speak about on the channels.
- 53:16SPEAKER_02: So um, yeah, there's a little bit of something for everyone on there.
- 53:19SPEAKER_02: Um, definitely with eight years worth of content, there is.
- 53:22SPEAKER_02: Uh then I've got my podcast, Spiritual Queen's Badass Podcast, which you can listen to on anywhere that distributes podcasts.
- 53:29SPEAKER_02: Um, so yeah, on there, obviously I do solo casts, I have amazing guests like yourself coming on, um, doing guest interviews as well.
- 53:36SPEAKER_02: So um, yeah, it's a bit of everything.
- 53:37SPEAKER_02: My content, other amazing um authors, gurus, spiritual teachers content on there as well.
- 53:42SPEAKER_02: And yeah, I post daily on Instagram.
- 53:44SPEAKER_02: So come and give me a message, say hi.
- 53:47SPEAKER_02: I'm always happy to chat with people.
- 53:49SPEAKER_01: Awesome.
- 53:50SPEAKER_01: Well, thank you so much.
- 53:51SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna just go into our last question now.
- 53:54SPEAKER_01: So, for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 54:01SPEAKER_02: And I think this answer would be so different a few years ago.
- 54:04SPEAKER_02: So I was thinking about it when you asked me, and I thought, oh, that's such a good question because it really gets you thinking.
- 54:09SPEAKER_02: I think unconditional love and inner child work.
- 54:12SPEAKER_02: I say that because I feel like that is the secret to so much in life of take away manifestation, take away the end goal, take away all the things that we want in life.
- 54:22SPEAKER_02: If we can feel at peace within ourselves, everything else falls into place.
- 54:27SPEAKER_02: And I feel like more emphasis needs to be put on that with law of attraction of stop chasing the outcome, stop, go within, look inside yourself, feel peace, feel joy, feel happiness within yourself.
- 54:41SPEAKER_02: And every single thing you want in life will be yours.
- 54:45SPEAKER_02: So for me, that I just feel like inner child work has been such a big pivotal part of my journey and what I would just recommend to every single person.
- 54:54SPEAKER_02: And I think sometimes hearing inner child work or even looking into it can feel quite daunting for people.
- 54:59SPEAKER_02: I hear such a mixed array of reactions of, oh my god, I want to do it, versus I do not want to do the summer.
- 55:06SPEAKER_02: It's oh my god, I'm triggered.
- 55:07SPEAKER_02: Like, what's gonna come up?
- 55:09SPEAKER_02: And I just really want to say like the inner work can be fun, it's not all doom and gloom, it's not all trauma, it's not all like seriousness.
- 55:16SPEAKER_02: Like, I love to have fun with the inner work and make it fun because that inner child is craving fun.
- 55:22SPEAKER_02: So it's important to have fun with it.
- 55:24SPEAKER_02: So when you connect to your inner child, you heal so much, and when you can bring that childlike joy and magic and just peace within yourself back and connect back to that unconditional love, every single thing you want in your life will happen.
- 55:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I a hundred percent agree.
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: And I always say this too like I always try to make it fun because A, it's sometimes it is like heavier topics and it can feel like a lot.
- 55:51SPEAKER_01: So I'm always like trying to lighten it up.
- 55:54SPEAKER_01: I make jokes and we make it into a fun thing because you're right, it is about really embracing those childlike aspects of yourself that just need something that they have not gotten.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: And that partly is just to have fun.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: So I think like to keep it light and remind people of that too, because I do think that even just that word inner childwork can be completely overwhelming for people, or they cannot kind of see why it's so important, or they'd much rather leave that closed because they feel if they open it up, then it's gonna be like a Pandora's box that they can't shut and they won't be able to handle the feelings.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: Because the reason why we did shut that off was because at the time we couldn't handle those, right?
- 56:42SPEAKER_01: But now we are at a place where we can, and we if we have the right support and the right guidance, we totally can.
- 56:49SPEAKER_01: So I completely agree with you.
- 56:51SPEAKER_01: It's really a non-negotiable.
- 56:52SPEAKER_01: Like I say this to people all the time.
- 56:55SPEAKER_01: If you really want to change your life and you want to be able to manifest and you want to be able to feel that sense of peace within yourself, you have to face that shit.
- 57:04SPEAKER_01: Like you just have to.
- 57:06SPEAKER_01: There's there's no other way.
- 57:08SPEAKER_01: So there isn't.
- 57:09SPEAKER_01: I wish that was.
- 57:10SPEAKER_01: I wish there was to, exactly.
- 57:12SPEAKER_01: I wish we could just like wave a magic wand, but sadly we cannot do that.
- 57:18SPEAKER_01: I mean, I try my best to do everything I can to wave that magic wand.
- 57:22SPEAKER_01: At the end of the day, it's you know, you just gotta face it.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: So I really appreciate you saying that.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: I'm really excited for your book.
- 57:29SPEAKER_01: We're gonna link all of that below.
- 57:31SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for being here.
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: It was amazing connecting with you, and I'm looking forward to being on your podcast.
