- 0:34Speaker 1: Thank you so much for your support. Thanks for tuning in.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Today's episodes are regarding the conflict in Israel and Palestine.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I've heard a lot about this issue, and I wanted
- 0:45Speaker 1: to deepen my own understanding. I recognize that this is
- 0:48Speaker 1: a sensitive topic, but the only way to truly learn
- 0:51Speaker 1: is to seek knowledge. I decided to have guests from
- 0:55Speaker 1: both sides of the aisle, if you will, to help
- 0:59Speaker 1: me learn by sharing their views. I did this in
- 1:01Speaker 1: separate episodes because I'm not a debate moderator, and I
- 1:05Speaker 1: chose guests who I thought would share their views sincerely,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and I think both of them did. I'm very thankful
- 1:11Speaker 1: to have the opportunity to learn, which is something that
- 1:14Speaker 1: they don't even have in some countries. Today's guest is
- 1:17Speaker 1: a comedian who was born in Egypt and now lives
- 1:20Speaker 1: here in America. He's also a political commentator, writer, and
- 1:24Speaker 1: a former medical surgeon. He's been called the Jon Stewart
- 1:28Speaker 1: of the Arab world and has been pretty vocal about
- 1:31Speaker 1: the Israel-Palestine conflict for years. You may have seen his
- 1:35Speaker 1: viral appearance on Piers Morgan. We're going to talk about
- 1:38Speaker 1: that and a lot more. I'm very grateful for his time.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Today's guest is Bassem Youssef.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Shine that light on me.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I'll sit and tell you my story.
- 2:01Speaker 1: And I will find a song.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I've been singing for so long Basim Youssef.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:15Speaker 1: That's how you say it? Basim? No, Basim. Basim.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Basim. It's a softer Basim. Oh, Basim. Basim, yeah.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Your student special at the Wiltern.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:26Speaker 1: On October 4th. Yes. Okay.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yes.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And what kind of like, so your audience is predominantly,
- 2:32Speaker 1: because you're Egyptian.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Yes.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And is your audience mostly like Egyptian folks or does
- 2:36Speaker 1: all Middle Eastern people come out and support a Middle
- 2:39Speaker 1: Eastern comedian?
- 2:41Speaker 3: Mostly brown people, 60% Arabs, sometimes 50% and then maybe
- 2:45Speaker 3: 20% like Indian Pakistanis. And then the rest are white.
- 2:49Speaker 3: So I get like between 20 to 30% white people.
- 2:53Speaker 3: But it's different from each state, from each show. So
- 2:58Speaker 3: it's been quite a ride, to be honest.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yeah, you've been doing comedy because you were a surgeon.
- 3:04Speaker 3: A heart surgeon, yeah.
- 3:05Speaker 1: You were a heart surgeon. Yeah. That's crazy, bro. Why
- 3:09Speaker 1: would you stop doing that? Why would you?
- 3:11Speaker 3: No, why do it? Because medicine is terrible. It's a
- 3:14Speaker 3: thankless job.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Is it?
- 3:16Speaker 3: Yes, I spent 19 years of my life in medicine.
- 3:19Speaker 3: 19 years of my life. And I say in my show,
- 3:23Speaker 3: I mean, you do that because that's what's expected of
- 3:25Speaker 3: you in the Middle East. In the Middle East, you're
- 3:27Speaker 3: expected to be one of three things, a doctor, an engineer,
- 3:30Speaker 3: or a disappointment. So I didn't want to disappoint my parents.
- 3:33Speaker 3: So I went into medicine. And I went there for
- 3:36Speaker 3: 19 years. I didn't have any kind of aspirations. It's like,
- 3:39Speaker 3: what do you want to do? I'm just going to
- 3:41Speaker 3: do the regular stuff. I wasn't the guy who's cracking
- 3:45Speaker 3: jokes in class or anything.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Really?
- 3:47Speaker 3: No, nothing. A regular guy. Just a regular boring guy.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Really?
- 3:51Speaker 1: Just a boring guy?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Very boring.
- 3:53Speaker 1: And then, so how do you realize you're able to
- 3:55Speaker 1: be a comedian then? Because that's kind of... I didn't.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You didn't think at all when you were a kid?
- 3:59Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't.
- 4:01Speaker 3: Revolution happened in Egypt 2011. And I just happened to
- 4:04Speaker 3: be like a regular... fan for Jon Stewart. So I
- 4:10Speaker 3: watched Jon Stewart for years. And I had this dream
- 4:13Speaker 3: of maybe I'll be a writer on a similar show
- 4:16Speaker 3: in Egypt. So when the revolution happened, and I saw
- 4:19Speaker 3: the kind of crazy stuff that they've been showing on television.
- 4:24Speaker 3: So it's like the craziest conspiracy theories ever.
- 4:28Speaker 1: And that was a revolution in Egypt?
- 4:30Speaker 3: Yes. So the state-run media was running all kinds of
- 4:34Speaker 3: crazy stuff. So I started doing YouTube videos, making fun
- 4:37Speaker 3: of it. Blew up. And in two weeks, I had
- 4:42Speaker 3: millions of views on my YouTube channel that I just opened.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I didn't even have a YouTube channel before that. And
- 4:48Speaker 3: then suddenly, every single platform, every single television station want
- 4:52Speaker 3: me on the show. And now, do a show. So
- 4:56Speaker 3: I did a show, out of nothing. And I hired
- 4:58Speaker 3: people who was not in the business. People who were
- 5:00Speaker 3: like amateurs, like me. And it became the biggest show
- 5:04Speaker 3: in the Middle East. And I had 40 million people
- 5:05Speaker 3: watching each episode.
- 5:08Speaker 1: And so how does that end? Did you just.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Oh, I was kicked out. I had my show canceled
- 5:12Speaker 3: a couple of times. I had even the signal, the
- 5:15Speaker 3: satellite signal jammed a couple of times. I had lawsuits.
- 5:18Speaker 3: I had shows shut down. People threatened around me. I
- 5:22Speaker 3: was threatened. And then I... By both regimes. I went
- 5:26Speaker 3: through three different regimes.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Military, Islamist military, and then they both hated me. And
- 5:33Speaker 3: that's when it's you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When you make
- 5:36Speaker 3: fun of people and everybody hates you, it's like, okay,
- 5:38Speaker 3: I think you're doing the right thing. And I couldn't
- 5:40Speaker 3: do the show anymore, so I escaped. I left Egypt, 2014.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I came here into a very dark era. I didn't know,
- 5:48Speaker 3: you know, like I was everything, and then I came
- 5:51Speaker 3: here and I'm nothing, nobody. And it was humbling. Because
- 5:55Speaker 3: I thought, hey, I have a good story. I'm a doctor.
- 5:58Speaker 3: I did comedy. I should come here and Hollywood should
- 6:00Speaker 3: open its door. Nothing. Nobody cares about you. Like, yeah,
- 6:03Speaker 3: you were great in Egypt. Now we don't know what
- 6:05Speaker 3: to do with you. So I think.
- 6:09Speaker 1: It's got to be a big transfer. I think that's scary.
- 6:11Speaker 1: That would have to be one of the scariest things
- 6:13Speaker 1: I think for a comic is going to another country
- 6:16Speaker 1: because the entire template of everything is different. Like the,
- 6:19Speaker 1: the pentameter of what's funny, like things that people know
- 6:23Speaker 1: and don't know, reference, all of that. And then you're
- 6:26Speaker 1: in a whole new space and Hollywood does not care really.
- 6:29Speaker 3: It's like you show up. They don't care.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It doesn't matter.
- 6:31Speaker 3: And you have to understand, I was even a comedian
- 6:33Speaker 3: who changed. I just been there for three years. I
- 6:36Speaker 3: just left medicine, did a show out of nothing, became successful.
- 6:41Speaker 3: So I only had two, three years under my belt
- 6:43Speaker 3: coming to America as a comedian in Arabic. So I
- 6:50Speaker 3: started doing standup comedy and I sucked so bad because
- 6:55Speaker 3: it's my second language. And also I did, it's not
- 6:57Speaker 3: just the language, it's the rhythm, the music. Each language
- 7:00Speaker 3: has its pauses, its rhythm, its cadence. And I would
- 7:05Speaker 3: write stuff that would be intelligent, but I wouldn't deliver
- 7:08Speaker 3: it right. So I went into the years of darkness
- 7:12Speaker 3: and And that was here in the U.S.? That's when
- 7:15Speaker 3: you first started stand-up?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Yes. Wow. Where was your first set at here?
- 7:20Speaker 3: I did something in, oh, the improv, like open mic,
- 7:27Speaker 3: and it was terrible. And I did a few open mics,
- 7:32Speaker 3: and then I, but here's the trick. What helped me
- 7:36Speaker 3: is that I was someone with a good story, so
- 7:38Speaker 3: I didn't go into comedy the first, like right away.
- 7:42Speaker 3: I won a speaker series.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I'm a guy.
- 7:45Speaker 3: I came from the revolution, Egypt. So I wouldn't go
- 7:47Speaker 3: to talk to universities.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Like a talk.
- 7:49Speaker 3: A talk.
- 7:49Speaker 1: That's better.
- 7:50Speaker 3: And then with that talk, I would put jokes. And
- 7:52Speaker 3: then I was like, oh, I have five minutes. Let
- 7:54Speaker 3: me try it. And then I suck. It's like, no,
- 7:56Speaker 3: that's not the five minutes.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Now I have two minutes. Yeah, two minutes.
- 8:01Speaker 3: So I would go back and forth, back and forth, back.
- 8:03Speaker 3: And I went for years. And when COVID hit, I
- 8:07Speaker 3: still went on the road because I needed to have
- 8:09Speaker 3: any time I can get. So I would go and
- 8:11Speaker 3: I would play for five people, six people. And it
- 8:16Speaker 3: was funny that people knew me from Egypt, from my
- 8:19Speaker 3: own country. Arabs and Egyptians would know me. And they
- 8:22Speaker 3: would see my name. It's like, oh, we have to
- 8:24Speaker 3: come and see Bassem Youssef. Now, in their mind is
- 8:27Speaker 3: this guy with this huge show. And they come. And
- 8:30Speaker 3: I'm a struggling comedian. And I would see it on
- 8:32Speaker 3: their faces. They would say. Oh, too bad. That's him.
- 8:36Speaker 3: He's a husband. Maybe he'll be driving an Uber in
- 8:39Speaker 3: three months. Yeah, maybe this is how he'll make his money.
- 8:43Speaker 3: So it was very related for me. And then two
- 8:47Speaker 3: years ago, something happened. Started to fill in spaces, places,
- 8:51Speaker 3: have kind of a few sold out shows. And it
- 8:55Speaker 3: went well. And last year, I was actually talking about
- 8:59Speaker 3: shooting my special already. I was having interest. And then
- 9:02Speaker 3: October 7th happened, and then I blew up because of
- 9:05Speaker 3: Piers Morgan. Then more people came to me. But here's
- 9:08Speaker 3: the thing. When I was complaining about not having enough
- 9:13Speaker 3: people coming to me, I wasn't ready yet.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 3: After October 7th, now everybody knew who I am.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 3: So they came to my show. And you were a
- 9:21Speaker 3: little more prepared. If the Piers Morgan thing happened two
- 9:26Speaker 3: years earlier, I wouldn't be good enough. And people will
- 9:29Speaker 3: come and get disappointed. So I think I took my
- 9:32Speaker 3: time and I think I'm grateful for that.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's funny you said about like your time and
- 9:36Speaker 1: how it like, you think you have, I remember when
- 9:38Speaker 1: I first thought I had like five minutes, I'd be like, guys,
- 9:41Speaker 1: I got five minutes, you know, calm down. But then
- 9:44Speaker 1: you realize if you have five minutes, you really only
- 9:45Speaker 1: have like two minutes, you know, it's like when it really,
- 9:48Speaker 1: when you cook the fat down and kind of figure
- 9:50Speaker 1: things out. Yeah, that Piers Morgan thing was huge for you. Yes.
- 9:55Speaker 3: That was huge.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Came out of nothing. Yeah.
- 9:58Speaker 3: It came out of nowhere.
- 9:59Speaker 1: A comedian friend of mine, Amir K, uh, connected us and,
- 10:03Speaker 1: he works with me a lot on the road and
- 10:05Speaker 1: this was absolutely, this was just so funny and insightful
- 10:09Speaker 1: and ridiculous.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yes.
- 10:11Speaker 1: Did you know it would have that big of an impact?
- 10:13Speaker 1: It has 22 million views.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Yes. Yeah. That's, uh, I went into that and I
- 10:19Speaker 3: was warned by everyone that I know that not to
- 10:23Speaker 3: go on the show. Because at the time, with October 7th,
- 10:28Speaker 3: there was a certain story and a certain perception and
- 10:31Speaker 3: no one was allowed to talk outside of the perception.
- 10:34Speaker 3: It was all one-sided. And my wife is half Palestinian.
- 10:39Speaker 3: And her family, many of them are in Gaza. And
- 10:43Speaker 3: they were bombed. And she lost many of her family
- 10:46Speaker 3: members all through the years. But it became so natural
- 10:50Speaker 3: that Gaza gets bombed. It's crazy that this is a
- 10:55Speaker 3: part of their life. So we don't even talk about it.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I don't even hear about anybody of her family until
- 11:03Speaker 3: a bomb goes on. And that's not just like the
- 11:06Speaker 3: last eight months. I'm talking about like years. So when
- 11:09Speaker 3: that happened, and I saw there's, this is one-sided, and our,
- 11:13Speaker 3: my side of the story is not being allowed to talk,
- 11:16Speaker 3: but nobody is willing to listen because everybody was hysterical.
- 11:19Speaker 3: So when he went in and he said like, how's everybody,
- 11:21Speaker 3: how's your family? I was like, well, I know I
- 11:23Speaker 3: tried to kill my wife, but she's using my kids
- 11:25Speaker 3: as human shields. So I used the same stuff that
- 11:28Speaker 3: they're using because the way that they were justifying the
- 11:33Speaker 3: continuous attack was ridiculous, one of them was by Ben
- 11:36Speaker 3: Shapiro and even DeSantis, he said, well, you know, Israel
- 11:41Speaker 3: warns Palestinians before bombing them. It's like, oh my God,
- 11:44Speaker 3: how cute. Wow, wow, wow. So if Putin warns Ukrainians,
- 11:50Speaker 3: it's okay for Putin to bomb Ukraine because as long
- 11:52Speaker 3: as you warn them, that's fine. And I thought, I
- 11:56Speaker 3: think Israel became so effective of warning them that they
- 11:59Speaker 3: actually warned them ahead of their funeral. They actually been,
- 12:03Speaker 3: sending flowers to the funeral. It's like, we're very sorry
- 12:06Speaker 3: for your upcoming loss. We're going to be there in 10.
- 12:09Speaker 3: I mean, it's like, are you guys gaslighting us? And
- 12:15Speaker 3: then I was hearing, oh, there's so many babies we kill,
- 12:19Speaker 3: but we cannot help it.
- 12:21Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 12:22Speaker 3: If you're the most funded, most advanced, most trained, most
- 12:25Speaker 3: supported military in the Middle East and you can't help
- 12:29Speaker 3: killing babies, maybe you can stick to your day job.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Maybe genocide is not the hobby for you. So it
- 12:37Speaker 3: kind of like, it was for me, a justification just
- 12:43Speaker 3: drove me crazy. So I took every single element that
- 12:45Speaker 3: they were taking and I just regurgitated back to them.
- 12:48Speaker 3: And he said, so what should Israel do? It's like,
- 12:49Speaker 3: exactly what they did, kill more people. Why not kill more?
- 12:52Speaker 3: Kill more because the whole idea, if you talk about ceasefire,
- 12:56Speaker 3: of please stopping the killing, You have all kind of
- 12:59Speaker 3: arguments not to. So all right, let's do whatever you want, guys.
- 13:02Speaker 3: And then show them how ridiculous, because this is what
- 13:06Speaker 3: comedy does. Comedy doesn't counteract. It's like, all right, let's
- 13:09Speaker 3: see your idea. And let's multiply by hundreds and see
- 13:13Speaker 3: how that feels. Because it is funny how the most
- 13:18Speaker 3: crazy question that they ask me, remember that, Theo? What's
- 13:21Speaker 3: the proportionate response? What's the proportion? How many dead bodies
- 13:25Speaker 3: can we get away with?
- 13:26Speaker 1: Yeah, what's an evil? What makes things fair?
- 13:28Speaker 3: What's a good number to kill? It's like, I find
- 13:30Speaker 3: it very interesting how the media suddenly is interested in calculus.
- 13:34Speaker 3: It's like, if one Hamas rocket equals 10 Israeli strikes,
- 13:40Speaker 3: how many funerals can we plan for next week? What
- 13:46Speaker 3: is this?
- 13:47Speaker 2: What is this?
- 13:50Speaker 1: Are there people in Gaza that are consuming your content
- 13:53Speaker 1: that are able, do you think it's bringing some relief?
- 13:55Speaker 1: Because I can only imagine the pain.
- 13:57Speaker 3: If they have some internet.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:58Speaker 3: Because you understand, Gaza is basically, it's sealed off.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Even before October 7th, forever. I love it how he
- 14:05Speaker 3: was just like, ah, we left Gaza. We're not occupying
- 14:09Speaker 3: Gaza anymore. Yes, but you're making an embargo of sea
- 14:12Speaker 3: and water and land, and you cannot give five calories
- 14:16Speaker 3: inside without going through the checkpoint.
- 14:17Speaker 4: Oh.
- 14:18Speaker 3: So it is, it is fine. It was like, we're not,
- 14:20Speaker 3: we're not occupying you, but we are locking you from
- 14:23Speaker 3: the outside.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 3: So when they get internet.
- 14:26Speaker 4: Right.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Sometimes they do. And I get a lot of people
- 14:28Speaker 3: supporting and I, and I, and someone sent me a video,
- 14:31Speaker 3: it made me cry. In the middle, after like a bombing,
- 14:35Speaker 3: they were like sitting, kids, and they were playing my,
- 14:39Speaker 3: my video. Somebody downloaded on, they played my video on
- 14:42Speaker 3: like an old television in the rubble. And that, that
- 14:45Speaker 3: made me cry.
- 14:46Speaker 4: Oh.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So, yeah, just so my listeners know, because a lot
- 14:49Speaker 1: of us, we're curious about Israel and Palestine. You hear
- 14:52Speaker 1: about it all the time, right? But some of us,
- 14:53Speaker 1: we don't even know, like, what's going on there, you know?
- 14:57Speaker 1: Because also a lot of the news you get, you're like,
- 14:59Speaker 1: is this news even accurate? You know, like, what filters
- 15:02Speaker 1: is the news going through? So, yeah, what do you
- 15:04Speaker 1: feel like is happening between Israel and Palestine? What do
- 15:09Speaker 1: you think is happening in Gaza? Is that the question?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it is a very complicated question. Here is a
- 15:14Speaker 3: question of the century. What's happening there? Well, I don't
- 15:20Speaker 3: want to talk about October 7th, not just now, because
- 15:24Speaker 3: things didn't start on October 7th.
- 15:25Speaker 4: Yes.
- 15:26Speaker 3: There is a country called Palestine that's been there, and
- 15:31Speaker 3: this piece of land, many people have went in and out,
- 15:35Speaker 3: had kingdoms, have empires, have states, and they were like
- 15:39Speaker 3: any other place in the world, right?
- 15:41Speaker 4: Yeah. So.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Very recently, and I will take as recently as like
- 15:48Speaker 3: 150 years, there was a promise by the Jewish people
- 15:51Speaker 3: in Europe to have a national state or a home
- 15:55Speaker 3: in Palestine. Which was very weird because most of those
- 16:00Speaker 3: Jews were in Europe. And they were persecuted by people
- 16:03Speaker 3: in Europe. Even before Hitler, there was pogroms all over.
- 16:07Speaker 3: And there was like a... There were what all over? Pogroms,
- 16:10Speaker 3: like kind of like mini Holocaust where they would like
- 16:12Speaker 3: go persecute them and they would like displace them. Most
- 16:17Speaker 3: Jews in Europe didn't have a good life in Europe,
- 16:18Speaker 3: especially in Eastern Europe, especially in Ukraine and Russia. And yeah,
- 16:25Speaker 3: they have pogroms. It's called pogroms all over. They have been.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Pogroms?
- 16:29Speaker 3: Pogroms. P-O-G-R-O-M-S.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Yeah, pogrom right here. An organized massacre of a particular
- 16:34Speaker 1: ethnic group, in particular that of Jewish people in Russia
- 16:36Speaker 1: or Eastern Europe, which you just said.
- 16:38Speaker 3: So they have been treated quite nasty in Europe for
- 16:41Speaker 3: so many reasons. Many of them can actually track it
- 16:44Speaker 3: back to the whole... sin of Jews killing Jesus. And
- 16:48Speaker 3: since then, the Catholic Church in Europe and many Christians
- 16:51Speaker 3: in Europe have really dealt with Jewish people in a
- 16:55Speaker 3: horrible way.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you should have killed somebody else. I think
- 16:59Speaker 1: because they're going to hold that against you. Some people are.
- 17:02Speaker 1: You should have killed whoever else was there. Or not Jesus,
- 17:05Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying? I don't even know who
- 17:07Speaker 1: did or where it was. Was it like one of
- 17:10Speaker 1: those like murder mystery dinners or something like that?
- 17:13Speaker 3: No, because like it was the new religion and then
- 17:17Speaker 3: there was the whole idea about like Jews pushing the
- 17:19Speaker 3: Roman ruler to crucify Jews. But that doesn't matter because
- 17:23Speaker 3: you shouldn't kill anybody for the sins of their parents.
- 17:28Speaker 1: But anyways. But they picked the wrong guy.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, they picked the son of God. Yeah.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Now I also, but if you're going to aim, you
- 17:38Speaker 1: got to aim high.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Can you imagine if they're going with Jesus and then
- 17:41Speaker 3: somebody's like, hey, he's been made.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Guys, he's a made man. He's a made man.
- 17:47Speaker 3: He is the made man.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Let's kill the other guy. Let's get this other guy.
- 17:51Speaker 3: So for years and years, it's not going well for them.
- 17:53Speaker 3: And then after First World War I, there was a
- 17:56Speaker 3: promise by the British government to the Jews to, establish
- 18:00Speaker 3: a home in Palestine.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Why did they pick Palestine?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 18:04Speaker 4: Why?
- 18:05Speaker 1: Was there other options that they chose?
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yes, there was Argentina, Madagascar, and Uganda. As a matter
- 18:14Speaker 3: of fact, the British government gave the Jewish people about 8,000
- 18:19Speaker 3: acres in Uganda in order to start a room, but
- 18:22Speaker 3: it was difficult for the Jewish council at the time,
- 18:25Speaker 3: or the Zionist council at the time, to bring people
- 18:28Speaker 3: to go to Uganda or to Argentina. It's like, no,
- 18:30Speaker 3: the only way that we can do it is to
- 18:32Speaker 3: send them to Palestine, because it's the holy land, it's
- 18:35Speaker 3: the promised land.
- 18:36Speaker 1: So did they choose Palestine, or the British people are...
- 18:40Speaker 1: Because this was after World War I, it was like
- 18:42Speaker 1: Britain and America.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Yeah, in 1917, there's something called the Balfour Declaration, which
- 18:47Speaker 3: was one of the British government who said, we can
- 18:50Speaker 3: give you the state of Palestine as your homeland.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Okay, bring that up, Nick.
- 18:55Speaker 3: But before 1917, it was, there were many, yeah, Balfour Declaration.
- 19:00Speaker 1: The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the
- 19:02Speaker 1: British government in 1917 during the First World War, announcing
- 19:05Speaker 1: its support of the establishment of a national home for
- 19:07Speaker 1: the Jewish people in Palestine. than an Ottoman region with
- 19:11Speaker 1: a small minority of Jewish population.
- 19:13Speaker 3: I like your fact checking everything and it's coming great.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Well, I just, this is good because I always wonder
- 19:19Speaker 1: some little things and I know little things, but I
- 19:21Speaker 1: don't know enough.
- 19:22Speaker 3: But before 1917, there was other trials with other options
- 19:27Speaker 3: for the countries I told you. And you know what's
- 19:28Speaker 3: the kicker? That's funny. Many Orthodox Jewish rabbis objected for
- 19:36Speaker 3: Palestine to be the homeland because in their Jewish faith,
- 19:39Speaker 3: we cannot have a land for Israel until the Messiah,
- 19:42Speaker 3: the real Messiah, because they don't believe in Jesus, their
- 19:45Speaker 3: Messiah would come. So they were a huge opposite for
- 19:51Speaker 3: having a land of Israel in Palestine.
- 19:54Speaker 1: In Palestine because it was a.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Because it was a.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Because it was not the time yet. They should wait
- 20:01Speaker 3: until the Messiah to come, and then that will create
- 20:04Speaker 3: the land of Israel.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Oh, I see. So wherever the Messiah showed up, that
- 20:08Speaker 1: would be the land of Israel.
- 20:09Speaker 3: But the secular Zionists at the time, they said like, okay,
- 20:11Speaker 3: how about like we build the land and that will
- 20:14Speaker 3: force him to come. So kind of like build it
- 20:16Speaker 3: and they will come. How about that? So you understand?
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, like field of dreams kind of.
- 20:21Speaker 3: Because here's the thing, because many of the people who
- 20:23Speaker 3: talk about like Israelis being like a biblical promise, even
- 20:26Speaker 3: they were not having a consensus of what, Where should
- 20:30Speaker 3: we have? So whoever tells you, oh, it's consensus, it's divine. No,
- 20:33Speaker 3: they even had problems deciding. So anyways, and at that time,
- 20:37Speaker 3: especially in 1930s after Hitler came to power, there were
- 20:42Speaker 3: like droves and droves and droves of Jewish Germans and
- 20:45Speaker 3: Jewish Polish people and Jewish Russian. They were like having,
- 20:49Speaker 3: they went into refugee boats and they came to Palestine.
- 20:52Speaker 3: And you know why? Because they were not granted visas
- 20:55Speaker 3: by the United States. They were not granted visas by
- 20:57Speaker 3: other European countries.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Wow, so a lot of Jewish, like German Jews, Polish Jews,
- 21:02Speaker 1: they weren't granted visas by... The West. By the West,
- 21:05Speaker 1: but they were by Palestine.
- 21:08Speaker 3: And Palestinians didn't have anything because it was a mandate
- 21:10Speaker 3: by the British. They were occupying that land, but they
- 21:12Speaker 3: were Palestinian people. So this became the myth of... A
- 21:16Speaker 3: land with no people to the people with no land.
- 21:19Speaker 3: And if you actually find that, you will actually find
- 21:23Speaker 3: that thing. This was one of the myths. A land
- 21:25Speaker 3: with no people to the people with no land. So
- 21:27Speaker 3: they will tell people, hey, there was no people living there,
- 21:31Speaker 3: so it is ours. It is just a desert, but
- 21:34Speaker 3: it was never a desert. there were more than 1.2
- 21:37Speaker 3: million Palestinians living in that piece of land.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Before the Balfour Declaration.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Before the Balfour Declaration. Then Jewish people came in, and
- 21:46Speaker 3: then many of those Jewish European residents started to form
- 21:50Speaker 3: militias and armed gangs, like the Haganah, the Ergon, the Stein.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Now, were these Jewish people that had just been rescued from... War,
- 22:04Speaker 1: war from the Nazi Germany?
- 22:06Speaker 3: From Nazi Germany, yes.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:08Speaker 3: 1930s all the way to the Second World War.
- 22:09Speaker 1: So they started to move to Palestine, which is now
- 22:12Speaker 1: Palestine and Israel. What was it called at that point?
- 22:14Speaker 3: It was all called Palestine, Palestine.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Even after Israel was given the land?
- 22:18Speaker 3: It was after giving the promise.
- 22:20Speaker 1: The promise.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Because if you read it, it was giving a promise
- 22:23Speaker 3: to make the land in the land of Palestine. I see.
- 22:25Speaker 3: So even many of those Israelis had Palestinian passports. So
- 22:29Speaker 3: the land was called Palestine and there were Palestinian people
- 22:31Speaker 3: living there, 1.2 million at least. Fast forward, I'm not
- 22:36Speaker 3: gonna go into so many details, but I fast forward 1948, 1947, 48,
- 22:41Speaker 3: there was like many wars happening, many wars happening, many,
- 22:45Speaker 3: many attacks between the Palestinian and the Jews because the
- 22:49Speaker 3: Palestinians said like, you're coming from Europe and you're taking
- 22:51Speaker 3: our land. It's like, no, this is our biblical land now.
- 22:53Speaker 3: Now it's ours. And those Jews were like supported pretty
- 22:57Speaker 3: much by the British. And the American, you think that's like, oh,
- 23:01Speaker 3: we don't want them back, so take all the weapons
- 23:03Speaker 3: and stay there. So, and then there were a declaration,
- 23:07Speaker 3: a UN declaration, a partition, it's called the partition, 1947.
- 23:11Speaker 3: And they gave the Jews who were less than 30%
- 23:14Speaker 3: more than half of the land. And they gave the Jews,
- 23:17Speaker 3: the Palestinians who were much more, like 45, 49%.
- 23:22Speaker 1: And who did, who was helping dictate that? Who was helping,
- 23:24Speaker 1: not dictate it, but who was helping like facilitate it?
- 23:27Speaker 3: Well, after First, Second World War, after 1945, the British
- 23:32Speaker 3: and the Americans were like kind of the world superpower.
- 23:34Speaker 3: So they were, at the time, I think it was-
- 23:36Speaker 3: They were running the chessboard. I think it was Truman,
- 23:39Speaker 3: it was Truman in power, who basically pushed, and there's
- 23:43Speaker 3: like a video, black and white video for... Harry Truman describing,
- 23:48Speaker 3: it's like, we were trying to please everybody, but it
- 23:50Speaker 3: was difficult because we were putting them people into other
- 23:53Speaker 3: people land. And it's there in black and white. So
- 23:56Speaker 3: why I'm giving this, because these ideas, see? Former President
- 24:01Speaker 3: Henry Truman talks about generic power in the Middle East.
- 24:04Speaker 3: It is just like, if you watch them, especially the
- 24:07Speaker 3: one in front of the map.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Yeah, the one in front of the map.
- 24:10Speaker 3: The two on the front of the map, you know?
- 24:14Speaker 4: Laurie Anderson was one of them. We had several other
- 24:17Speaker 4: people in the country, even among the Jews, the Zionists particularly,
- 24:21Speaker 4: who were against anything that was to be done if
- 24:24Speaker 4: they couldn't have the whole of Palestine and everything handed
- 24:27Speaker 4: to them on a silver plate so they wouldn't have
- 24:29Speaker 4: to do anything. It couldn't be done. We had to
- 24:31Speaker 4: take it in small doses. You can't move 5 or
- 24:36Speaker 4: 6 million people out of a country and fill it
- 24:38Speaker 4: up with 5 or 6 million more and expect both
- 24:40Speaker 4: sets of them to be pleased. We had all sorts of.
- 24:45Speaker 3: So you see, and I'm really talking about this because
- 24:48Speaker 3: if you want to talk about October 7th, you need
- 24:50Speaker 3: to talk about the basis because they will always get
- 24:54Speaker 3: like a point of time. The basis of this, this
- 24:57Speaker 3: was a land of Palestinian people. People from Europe came
- 25:00Speaker 3: in and they started to import other Jews from the
- 25:03Speaker 3: other parts of Arab countries. And they said, this is
- 25:06Speaker 3: our land now for whatever biblical reason. Because this doesn't
- 25:10Speaker 3: make any sense. This is like me coming into your
- 25:12Speaker 3: podcast studio. It's like, hey, my fortune cookie told me
- 25:15Speaker 3: that this is mine now and I'm allowed to kill you.
- 25:18Speaker 3: I don't care about what your Bible or Torah or
- 25:20Speaker 3: Quran tells you. If you have a holy scripture, good
- 25:24Speaker 3: for you. But that doesn't dictate political decision that can
- 25:27Speaker 3: affect the lives of other people in the region. So
- 25:30Speaker 3: this is exactly what happened. And what drives me crazy
- 25:32Speaker 3: is that we hear the whole idea about like the
- 25:34Speaker 3: chosen people or the chosen people or the chosen people.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Okay, fine.
- 25:37Speaker 3: You think you're a chosen people, good for you. Everybody
- 25:39Speaker 3: think they're chosen. Christian think they're chosen. Muslim think they're chosen.
- 25:42Speaker 3: But what drives me crazy is the Christian Zionist, the
- 25:45Speaker 3: pro-Israel Christian Zionist who say that they are chosen, that
- 25:51Speaker 3: the Jews are chosen. And I'm sorry to say, isn't
- 25:54Speaker 3: Jesus your guy? are you in an open relationship? Are
- 25:59Speaker 3: you in an open relationship? How come you believe in
- 26:03Speaker 3: a religion, in a God, in a doctrine, but you
- 26:05Speaker 3: believe that other people from another religion are chosen over you?
- 26:08Speaker 3: Don't you feel unchosen? I mean, this is like a
- 26:11Speaker 3: religious polygamy, right? Are you cheating on Jesus? Is this
- 26:15Speaker 3: some sort of a religious FOMO? It doesn't make any sense.
- 26:18Speaker 3: And I'm sick and tired of this whole idea about
- 26:20Speaker 3: chosen people. What does it mean to be chosen? Do
- 26:21Speaker 3: you have a bottle service? Do you have like a
- 26:23Speaker 3: VIP lounge access? Are you like in a waterfront condos
- 26:27Speaker 3: and we were like back in the purgatory in our
- 26:29Speaker 3: shitty- It's.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Great advertising, right?
- 26:32Speaker 3: I know.
- 26:32Speaker 1: It's really great advertising if you just say you're the
- 26:34Speaker 1: chosen people. How did that term come about, I wonder?
- 26:39Speaker 3: It was in their Bible, in their Torah, but it's
- 26:42Speaker 3: fine because everybody thinks they're a chosen. That is the
- 26:45Speaker 3: driving force of faith, that I'm the only one in
- 26:48Speaker 3: heaven and everybody's gonna go to hell. But I don't understand,
- 26:51Speaker 3: if they're saying that they're chosen, why the Christian Zionists
- 26:54Speaker 3: believe that?
- 26:55Speaker 1: So what is a Zionist?
- 26:57Speaker 3: A Zionist, okay, there's a Zionist, they would want you
- 27:01Speaker 3: to believe that a Zionist simply believe that having a
- 27:03Speaker 3: national statehood for Jewish people. But that's more than that.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Zionist is... Are.
- 27:10Speaker 1: Zionists Jewish or are they.
- 27:11Speaker 3: No, not necessarily because you can be Zionist and still
- 27:15Speaker 3: Christian or a Zionist or an atheist because many of
- 27:19Speaker 3: the pros... That's why I don't say Jews. I say
- 27:24Speaker 3: pro-Zionist or pro-Israel because many of the people in Congress
- 27:28Speaker 3: are Christians and they just believe in Zionism. Zionism here,
- 27:32Speaker 3: as we believe it from an Arab perspective, It is
- 27:36Speaker 3: a colonial settling idea of ideology that is based on
- 27:40Speaker 3: cleansing the whole group of people out of their land
- 27:43Speaker 3: and you coming into, if you want to have like
- 27:45Speaker 3: a national state, that's fine. But you understand they are
- 27:49Speaker 3: building it on the state of other people. You're coming
- 27:52Speaker 3: in and you're doing it. And just to give you
- 27:54Speaker 3: a very, very small snippet of the magnitude of what happened, 1948,
- 27:59Speaker 3: 15th of May, the day that Israel declared independence. On
- 28:03Speaker 3: that day, overnight, 750,000 Palestinians, three quarters of a million
- 28:09Speaker 3: were displaced overnight. Overnight, displaced from their village, displaced from
- 28:14Speaker 3: their homes, displaced from their cities. They were killing, raping,
- 28:18Speaker 3: they were burning, all kind of things. And you have
- 28:22Speaker 3: documentaries where Israeli soldiers, they talk, braggingly talk about like
- 28:27Speaker 3: the atrocities that they did and the rape and the
- 28:29Speaker 3: women that they raped and all of that happened.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And was that?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, so this is a perfect example. You see, this
- 28:36Speaker 3: is 1946 Palestine. This is old Palestine with a little
- 28:39Speaker 3: Jewish spots here and there. And this is the UN partition. Suddenly,
- 28:45Speaker 3: the UN gave all of that white space to Israel.
- 28:50Speaker 3: So the Palestinians are like, wait a minute, that doesn't work.
- 28:53Speaker 1: But how were they lobbying the UN? Is the UN
- 29:00Speaker 1: the group that was doing it?
- 29:00Speaker 3: No, no, but you have to understand, the UN has
- 29:02Speaker 3: no power.
- 29:02Speaker 1: Okay, got it.
- 29:03Speaker 3: Who has the power, America? and in England. You understand
- 29:06Speaker 3: that UN now, or security, America runs the world. So
- 29:11Speaker 3: America is the superpower, especially after Second World War, they
- 29:14Speaker 3: are the strongest country. They just like bomb, like to
- 29:17Speaker 3: drop two nuclear weapons for bombs. So they had women
- 29:21Speaker 3: playing baseball at that time. And you have even Henry
- 29:23Speaker 3: Truman's like, we tried, but like we're trying to do it,
- 29:26Speaker 3: but it's difficult. So this is, you see how it
- 29:29Speaker 3: went from here to here in less, than 50 years,
- 29:33Speaker 3: how now the Palestinian state, quote unquote state, have become
- 29:37Speaker 3: just like islands and islands and islands. islands. So you
- 29:41Speaker 3: had 1.2 million. Now you see this little green thing?
- 29:46Speaker 3: You have more than 5 million Palestinians living there Crushed
- 29:50Speaker 3: into these little things. Gaza, which is the little strip
- 29:53Speaker 3: on the side, it has 2.2 million people. And those 2.2
- 29:56Speaker 3: million people were not born in Gaza. More than three-quarters
- 29:59Speaker 3: of them came from outside, but they were pushing them,
- 30:01Speaker 3: pushing them, pushing them. So we understand this is the
- 30:04Speaker 3: state now. So the basis of all of this is occupation.
- 30:08Speaker 1: I see.
- 30:08Speaker 3: That's why when they tell you that Israel has the
- 30:10Speaker 3: right to defend itself, and people say the unoccupying force
- 30:14Speaker 3: has no right to defend itself against the people that
- 30:16Speaker 3: they occupy.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Say that again to me.
- 30:19Speaker 3: So if you are an occupying force, you have no
- 30:21Speaker 3: right to defend yourself because you cannot. It's like the
- 30:25Speaker 3: Nazi Germany has a right to defend itself against the
- 30:28Speaker 3: French resistance. You can't. You went into their country with
- 30:32Speaker 3: might and with force and with military. You occupy them.
- 30:36Speaker 1: You get them.
- 30:37Speaker 3: And this is why, and I want to tell you,
- 30:40Speaker 3: how come they, if you did October 7th, you should
- 30:42Speaker 3: expect that, well, before October 7th, it's been going on
- 30:45Speaker 3: and on and on. Every single day, a Palestinian will
- 30:47Speaker 3: wake up in the morning and an Israeli soldier or
- 30:51Speaker 3: Israeli settler can go into their house, burn their house,
- 30:54Speaker 3: take their house, kill them, take them as hostages, put
- 30:57Speaker 3: them in prison, say that they are terrorists. And a
- 31:01Speaker 3: lot of people talk about the Israeli hostages. You understand
- 31:04Speaker 3: that before October 7th, there are 5,000, Palestinian hostages in prisons.
- 31:10Speaker 3: One of every five Palestinian has been put in jail.
- 31:14Speaker 3: You understand? So put that in perspective. America has 330
- 31:18Speaker 3: million people. So imagine.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Some people are missing.
- 31:23Speaker 3: How many people are missing?
- 31:27Speaker 4: 300.
- 31:27Speaker 3: So imagine out of those, about 65 million Americans is
- 31:31Speaker 3: in jail right now. This is the reality of Palestinians.
- 31:36Speaker 3: So at a certain point, if I'm talking to people
- 31:39Speaker 3: who are listening to us now, you have a farm,
- 31:41Speaker 3: you have a land, you have your cows, your herd,
- 31:44Speaker 3: your family. Imagine for 75 years, your house has no privacy.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Your family has no sanctity.
- 31:55Speaker 1: You can't go to sleep knowing that you're going to
- 31:56Speaker 1: wake up and your house will be yours in the morning.
- 31:58Speaker 3: You go in, people take them, being pushed out, they
- 32:01Speaker 3: take their land. At a certain point, you have to break.
- 32:04Speaker 3: You have to snap.
- 32:05Speaker 1: So you're saying that what happened on October 7th is
- 32:07Speaker 1: just a buildup of a long series of things. That's
- 32:10Speaker 1: just a pinpoint.
- 32:11Speaker 3: And it's not new. I know a lot of people
- 32:13Speaker 3: say like, I'll give an example. 2014, exactly 10 years ago,
- 32:16Speaker 3: in Gaza, 2,200 Palestinians were killed, dead. 500 children killed.
- 32:21Speaker 3: There was no October 7th. You understand? There was no
- 32:23Speaker 3: October 7th.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Right.
- 32:24Speaker 3: But they go in because it's, and I gave this
- 32:26Speaker 3: example to Chris Cuomo once. It's like, Israel is like, Palestine,
- 32:32Speaker 3: Gaza and West Bank is like a small fishbowl. and
- 32:36Speaker 3: you have the power to go into this fish bowl
- 32:38Speaker 3: and you just like kick the shit out of those
- 32:42Speaker 3: fish anytime you want. At a certain point, one fish
- 32:45Speaker 3: will be crazy enough, suicidal enough to jump from the
- 32:47Speaker 3: fish bowl and bite you where your pinky, that's October 7th.
- 32:51Speaker 3: So you're going, oh I'm gonna destroy, it's already destroyed.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you're creating piranhas.
- 32:55Speaker 3: You understand that in just eight months, Israel have bombed
- 33:00Speaker 3: Gaza more than America has bombed Iraq for eight years.
- 33:06Speaker 3: In eight months. You don't do that. You don't do that.
- 33:10Speaker 3: And of course they tell you, oh, it's collateral damage,
- 33:12Speaker 3: which crazy, right? Oh, those people that died, it's collateral damage.
- 33:16Speaker 3: We really wanted to take that terrorist, but the school
- 33:19Speaker 3: got in the way. I mean, the geography is very hostile.
- 33:22Speaker 3: Every time we kill Hamas, they just like, schools and
- 33:27Speaker 3: babies come out of nowhere. I shouldn't be laughing at this.
- 33:31Speaker 1: I know.
- 33:32Speaker 3: I mean, it's dark because sometimes I feel that Israel
- 33:34Speaker 3: has some sort of a program called No Civilian Left Behind.
- 33:37Speaker 3: You know, it's like, it doesn't matter if you're a
- 33:39Speaker 3: little kid playing soccer or a Hamas terrorist, you get
- 33:42Speaker 3: a piece of the action. It's like, you understand?
- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like favored nations.
- 33:49Speaker 3: Because I, as an Arab, I have no power. I'm
- 33:52Speaker 3: not powerful as the United States. I'm not powerful as Israel.
- 33:54Speaker 3: So all I have to do is just like laugh
- 33:55Speaker 3: at this.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Right.
- 33:56Speaker 3: Because that doesn't work. So- Back to 1948, they displaced 750,000 people,
- 34:04Speaker 3: and they continued to occupy the land every single day.
- 34:06Speaker 1: So you said that in 1948, what was that movement called?
- 34:09Speaker 1: And that was just like in one day it kind
- 34:10Speaker 1: of happened?
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that is the establishment of the state of Israel
- 34:14Speaker 3: in 1948, 15th of May, 1948.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Okay, and so when Israel established itself, and is Israel
- 34:20Speaker 1: able to establish itself by itself, or did they have
- 34:22Speaker 1: to have support from Britain and America?
- 34:25Speaker 3: Well, Israel didn't establish itself over one day. I mean,
- 34:29Speaker 3: they've been doing it there, but like having like pushing
- 34:32Speaker 3: people into it from other countries. And actually they had
- 34:36Speaker 3: a lot of support from England and from America. And
- 34:42Speaker 3: I find it very interesting how that Israelis made Americans
- 34:46Speaker 3: think that terrorism is something that has been invented by
- 34:50Speaker 3: Arabs or Muslim. Because if you talk to anybody, terrorism, oh, Arabs, Muslim,
- 34:55Speaker 3: you know that the first terrorist attack ever in the
- 34:57Speaker 3: Middle East was carried out by Israel. 1946, in July,
- 35:02Speaker 3: Israel bombed King David Hotel, killing 91 British soldiers, 91.
- 35:07Speaker 3: And it was led by a stern gang, which is
- 35:12Speaker 3: Yitzhak Shamir, who later became the Prime Minister of Israel.
- 35:16Speaker 3: So they have been killing people, they have been terrorizing
- 35:20Speaker 3: people all through, and then they call Palestinians terrorists.
- 35:24Speaker 1: So when that one day comes, the establishment of Israel
- 35:26Speaker 1: as a country, Is it like a certain, at that day,
- 35:29Speaker 1: is there just like a mass where everybody has to
- 35:31Speaker 1: move out of this space and this is ours and
- 35:32Speaker 1: this is yours?
- 35:33Speaker 3: They basically move them into, if you go get back
- 35:34Speaker 3: the map, they move them into the West Bank and Gaza.
- 35:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:38Speaker 3: And then in that map that we've been, yeah. And
- 35:41Speaker 3: you see the third one?
- 35:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:42Speaker 3: So now all of the Palestinians are into this. 1967,
- 35:47Speaker 3: we go to war with Israel, Egypt goes to war,
- 35:49Speaker 3: get its ass kicked because we had Nasser messing up
- 35:52Speaker 3: big time.
- 35:53Speaker 1: In 1967, Egypt went to war?
- 35:55Speaker 3: Yeah, with, and then Israel.
- 35:56Speaker 1: With who, with Palestine? With Israel. With Israel.
- 36:00Speaker 3: And then after that, Israel could actually completely control the
- 36:03Speaker 3: West Bank and in Gaza.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I see.
- 36:04Speaker 3: So now, this is under, so what you could see
- 36:07Speaker 3: in all of these green marks is an occupation. And
- 36:11Speaker 3: let me say it again, it's an occupation. It's a
- 36:14Speaker 3: military force that is occupying people, and it is an
- 36:17Speaker 3: occupation because of a land that has been disintegrated from
- 36:21Speaker 3: this to this.
- 36:22Speaker 1: So you're saying that it wasn't the occupation, it was
- 36:28Speaker 1: by force, it was never by like agreement.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Yeah, how can you agree to?
- 36:33Speaker 1: Is there a lease? Like, what does the lease say?
- 36:35Speaker 3: The what?
- 36:35Speaker 1: The lease. The lease.
- 36:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 36:38Speaker 3: There's no lease when you occupy. What did the lease
- 36:41Speaker 3: say in France when Nazi came in and took over
- 36:44Speaker 3: your land? You have nothing to say. You have people
- 36:47Speaker 3: coming in with.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Most Jewish people I know are landlords, you know? So
- 36:50Speaker 1: it's like, I can't imagine they would do this without
- 36:53Speaker 1: a lease.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Well, if you have an army next to you, why
- 36:56Speaker 3: would you need a lease? Because till today, till today,
- 37:00Speaker 3: like you have, go into the internet and find just
- 37:03Speaker 3: like Israeli settlers, terrorizing Palestinian farmers. Just random thing. You
- 37:12Speaker 3: have like 100 videos. Happens every single day. So, and
- 37:15Speaker 3: this is why I'm talking because everybody is focused on
- 37:18Speaker 3: this little strip, on the Gaza strip. But people don't
- 37:20Speaker 3: know what is happening in those green scattered... This is
- 37:24Speaker 3: happening every single day. Every single day people... By the way, the.
- 37:29Speaker 3: The hostages are not 5,000 people anymore. After October 7th,
- 37:33Speaker 3: it's now 12,000 people. 12,000 Palestinians in prisons. In prisons.
- 37:37Speaker 3: So when you talk about hostage, and I just want
- 37:41Speaker 3: to get people back to October 7th. When Hamas did this,
- 37:42Speaker 3: and I'm not defending Hamas. I'm not into any kind
- 37:45Speaker 3: of support of any group. But they said, we will
- 37:49Speaker 3: release the hostage if you release our hostages. Because you
- 37:52Speaker 3: have been going into our houses and taking people. Half
- 37:55Speaker 3: of the 5,000 people that I told you about, half
- 37:57Speaker 3: of them are women and children. Half of them. And
- 38:01Speaker 3: I'll just give you an example because I know what
- 38:04Speaker 3: people tell you. Oh, but these are terrorists. I'll give
- 38:06Speaker 3: you an example of a terrorist. Soad Zuraikat, she is
- 38:10Speaker 3: a Palestinian mother.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Wait, so we have to say it slower.
- 38:12Speaker 3: Soad Zuraikat.
- 38:13Speaker 1: Soad Zuraikat.
- 38:14Speaker 3: She's a Palestinian mother. Her husband was killed. And then
- 38:19Speaker 3: she wrote on Facebook, may God unite us in heaven.
- 38:22Speaker 3: The Israeli authority said, considered that as an incitement for terrorism,
- 38:27Speaker 3: and they took her and they put her in detention
- 38:29Speaker 3: for eight months. That's the kind of people that they
- 38:31Speaker 3: will take you for terrorism. And I'm not saying that
- 38:35Speaker 3: there's violence, but put yourself in their place. Your house
- 38:38Speaker 3: is being taken, your farms are being burned, your cattle
- 38:40Speaker 3: is being killed, your kids are being taken in front
- 38:43Speaker 3: of you, your woman, your wife may be even raped
- 38:47Speaker 3: and taken away and sexually molested. How long can you
- 38:52Speaker 3: keep going? Because, but we want peace. This is not
- 38:56Speaker 3: a peace. This is subjugation.
- 38:57Speaker 1: So you're saying that over time, it's like a slow
- 39:00Speaker 1: devouring of the Palestinian people is kind of what's happened.
- 39:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. It is devouring. As you said, they devour
- 39:06Speaker 3: the land. They devour their lives. They are dehumanized. And
- 39:10Speaker 3: when you fight back, you're called a terrorist. Now, let's
- 39:14Speaker 3: go back to October 7th because this is very important.
- 39:16Speaker 1: Okay.
- 39:17Speaker 3: October 7th. Hamas, which is a militant group that is
- 39:20Speaker 3: living in Gaza that has won the election in 2006,
- 39:25Speaker 3: but they were never allowed to take power because Israel
- 39:28Speaker 3: started bombing them.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Okay, so Hamas was actually an elected group.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Okay. And when they ran for election, what were they like?
- 39:37Speaker 3: They were running as a group. I mean, Hamas is a,
- 39:41Speaker 3: They don't like the Palestinian authority that was already there.
- 39:43Speaker 3: They didn't like them. They didn't like them. And Israel, Netanyahu,
- 39:47Speaker 3: was so happy with that, and they started to give
- 39:50Speaker 3: money to Hamas in order to bolster them and make
- 39:53Speaker 3: them stronger. And he said in the Likud party, in
- 39:57Speaker 3: his party, he said, the only way to prevent a
- 39:59Speaker 3: Palestinian state is to make the Palestinian factions fighting the
- 40:03Speaker 3: whole time. He said that. So he created a monster.
- 40:06Speaker 1: So he saw that, so you're saying that Netanyahu, who
- 40:10Speaker 1: is the president of Israel, or the prime minister, he
- 40:14Speaker 1: saw that, okay, there's this alternative group, Hamas, who is
- 40:20Speaker 1: causing conflict with the people who are in charge in Palestine,
- 40:23Speaker 1: and so I'm going to fund Hamas.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Yes, and Hamas was, I wouldn't say that they were moderate,
- 40:28Speaker 3: they would say like, we want to eradicate Israel, whatever,
- 40:30Speaker 3: and then they kind of revised their charter, but they
- 40:33Speaker 3: weren't fund, like, like fans of each other.
- 40:38Speaker 1: And did Israel definitely fund them?
- 40:42Speaker 3: You have Netanyahu on tape actually confessing, facilitating their support
- 40:50Speaker 3: many times. And you can look it up if you want.
- 40:53Speaker 3: What I'm trying to say is they won the election
- 40:59Speaker 3: in 2006 and Israel didn't like it and then they
- 41:01Speaker 3: started bombing.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Who won, Hamas?
- 41:02Speaker 3: Hamas. Hamas won by 51% in Gaza. But then they were, like, infighting,
- 41:08Speaker 3: and it didn't work, and then Israel kind of, like,
- 41:11Speaker 3: created even a bigger embargo, and then for the past, like,
- 41:15Speaker 3: 20 years, they've just, like, been going, every time Hamas, like, retaliates,
- 41:20Speaker 3: Israel retaliates, and they retaliate, and they retaliate, but who
- 41:23Speaker 3: has the power? Who has the military might?
- 41:24Speaker 1: It's Israel.
- 41:24Speaker 3: At the end of the day, it's militants.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, Israel is a superpower.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so you cannot just, like, cry, oh, we're going
- 41:32Speaker 3: to perish because of the militant group. If we're giving
- 41:34Speaker 3: you that money, that doesn't work this way. But here's
- 41:38Speaker 3: what I want to talk about, which is the most
- 41:42Speaker 3: important thing about October 7th, which I find is like
- 41:44Speaker 3: a big failure of the American media. When October 7th happened,
- 41:49Speaker 3: everybody was talking about raping women, decapitating children, putting women
- 41:54Speaker 3: in the oven. Even Antony Blinken, the Secretary of State,
- 41:58Speaker 3: He went into Congress and he described this scene about
- 42:01Speaker 3: Hamas militants going into a house, raping the woman, blinding
- 42:06Speaker 3: the father, cutting the limb of a child, cutting a
- 42:10Speaker 3: finger of another child, and then cutting the breast of
- 42:13Speaker 3: a woman and playing football with it and raping it.
- 42:17Speaker 3: And I said, wait a minute. How is this happening
- 42:20Speaker 3: during war? Where are the Israeli Apache fighters? Where are
- 42:25Speaker 3: the response? Because you don't understand how big is Israel?
- 42:28Speaker 3: Israel is like as small, actually as small as New Jersey.
- 42:31Speaker 3: And in that area of New Jersey, there is like,
- 42:34Speaker 3: there is a.
- 42:37Speaker 3: You see? It's almost there.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Wow, it's the same.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Yeah, almost there. Yes, a little bit. And you understand?
- 42:43Speaker 3: You understand? Israel has... has airfields and military camps in
- 42:50Speaker 3: every five seconds. It's like Starbucks in New York. The
- 42:53Speaker 3: response should be less than five minutes. It took them
- 42:55Speaker 3: eight hours.
- 42:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I need a venti missile.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Now, that testimony that I just gave you by Antony
- 43:02Speaker 3: Blinken came out to be wrong.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Who's Antony Blinken?
- 43:05Speaker 3: Antony Blinken is the Secretary of State.
- 43:06Speaker 1: For Israel?
- 43:07Speaker 3: No, for America.
- 43:08Speaker 1: For America, okay.
- 43:09Speaker 3: So he went and gave that graphic detail in order
- 43:12Speaker 3: to bring money, to get money to be sent to Israel.
- 43:16Speaker 3: These testimonies came out to be untrue, false, fabricated because
- 43:21Speaker 3: they were promoted by rescue groups in Israel. They're called
- 43:26Speaker 3: Zaka and Hadzola United, Zaka, Z-A-K-A. Zaka is a group
- 43:31Speaker 3: that has been known to be lying. They fabricated lies.
- 43:34Speaker 3: babies in oven, babies in laundry lines.
- 43:36Speaker 1: Yeah, they keep putting the babies everywhere, no matter what
- 43:38Speaker 1: side you're on, it's like, oh, the babies are here.
- 43:41Speaker 3: Oh, there's a baby with a gun or whatever. If
- 43:46Speaker 3: you search for them, you will find that their lies
- 43:49Speaker 3: has been debunked many times by the Israeli media themselves.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Israeli media, artists, Channel 12, they said that these people
- 43:57Speaker 3: have lied to us and they have collected so much
- 44:00Speaker 3: money because of their graphic details. And you understand, these
- 44:03Speaker 3: are lies that has been repeated by Biden, Antony Blinken,
- 44:06Speaker 3: the State Department, in order to justify the absolute maximum
- 44:12Speaker 3: killing of Israel to Palestine. So this was made on
- 44:14Speaker 3: a lie.
- 44:15Speaker 1: So it's propaganda, yeah.
- 44:16Speaker 3: It's propaganda. Because, you know, I'm not gonna tell you
- 44:19Speaker 3: they killed a million people. They raped women. They decapitated babies.
- 44:24Speaker 3: That have a much more stronger effect because what a
- 44:28Speaker 3: baby could do to you.
- 44:29Speaker 1: Baby could do nothing, climb up your leg a little.
- 44:32Speaker 3: You decapitate him, you must be a monster. So now
- 44:35Speaker 3: these are monster death cult worshipers that we can kill
- 44:38Speaker 3: and we can bomb everybody. You see that?
- 44:40Speaker 1: So it's a perspective. You're like framing it. So you're saying,
- 44:42Speaker 1: but who's doing that? The Israeli media?
- 44:44Speaker 3: Yeah, the Israeli media. Because all of the, and not
- 44:46Speaker 3: just the Israeli media, the American media have propagated these
- 44:49Speaker 3: stories and they have never taken back or refuted a
- 44:53Speaker 3: single story. And what made me go crazy, the Israeli
- 44:59Speaker 3: made themselves, guys, it didn't happen. So this is like
- 45:02Speaker 3: the strongest bro code I've ever seen in my life.
- 45:04Speaker 3: It's like you're lying for your bro and your bro's like, dude,
- 45:08Speaker 3: that didn't happen. That didn't happen. So America is lying
- 45:11Speaker 3: hard for Israel, while Israel itself, the Israeli made itself like, guys,
- 45:15Speaker 3: that didn't happen. All of these lies didn't happen. The
- 45:17Speaker 3: New York Times article screams without words, was debunked to
- 45:21Speaker 3: be lies. There was so many people, lies, lies, lies.
- 45:25Speaker 3: No decapitated babies were found. Only one baby was killed.
- 45:28Speaker 3: Her name is Mila Cohen. She's 10 months old and
- 45:29Speaker 3: she was died during an exchange. No decapitated babies. No
- 45:32Speaker 3: rape women. Sheryl Sandberg and New York Times have spread
- 45:35Speaker 3: all of these lies and they were debunked many, many times.
- 45:38Speaker 3: And still the American media are running with the lies.
- 45:42Speaker 1: But America, a lot of American media.
- 45:44Speaker 3: Is, if you say that, that would be anti-Semitic. So
- 45:46Speaker 3: I'm not going to go there. Right? They're telling me
- 45:50Speaker 3: everything that I say now is anti-Semitic. But I'm saying
- 45:53Speaker 3: that even the Jewish people in Israel telling you these
- 45:56Speaker 3: are lies.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Well, my friends, my Jewish friends who, they say that.
- 46:00Speaker 1: They say that the media is mostly run by Jewish folks.
- 46:04Speaker 1: I don't think that that's... It is. They told me that.
- 46:07Speaker 1: It is.
- 46:07Speaker 3: It is. All of the corporates, all the CEOs, but
- 46:09Speaker 3: that's a different... But I don't want to go into
- 46:12Speaker 3: their intention. I'm just giving you a case that... We
- 46:15Speaker 3: didn't have to say that, though? Well, according to a
- 46:18Speaker 3: bill that was passed by the Congress two months ago,
- 46:21Speaker 3: there is now an anti-Semitic bill that anything, any criticism
- 46:25Speaker 3: to Israel will be counted as anti-Semitic. Any criticism to
- 46:29Speaker 3: Jewish people who might have a dual loyalty to Israel
- 46:33Speaker 3: and America, if you attack them, that will be called anti-Semitic.
- 46:36Speaker 3: If you talk about AIPAC controlling the elections and giving money,
- 46:40Speaker 3: that's anti-Semitic. And it's like, wait a minute, that's against
- 46:42Speaker 3: the First Amendment of the United States. Because I can't,
- 46:45Speaker 3: I have grown up seeing people shitting on everything, on
- 46:50Speaker 3: the American present, on religion, on Jesus Christ.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Gays, whites, blacks.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Jesus, whites, Muslims.
- 46:57Speaker 1: Jesus, Santa.
- 46:59Speaker 3: But suddenly when you talk about Israel, which is a
- 47:01Speaker 3: foreign country that we give aid, you can't speak? You
- 47:03Speaker 3: can't talk about, you're labeled anti-Semitic? Why?
- 47:07Speaker 1: Yeah, I gotta, yeah, some of it's like, well, we had.
- 47:13Speaker 1: Roseanne Barron, she's Jewish. She said something, she made a
- 47:16Speaker 1: joke and our episode got taken down. But if she
- 47:19Speaker 1: made it, it was obviously like a joke, you know, like,
- 47:22Speaker 1: so some of it's just confusing because here's the thing
- 47:26Speaker 1: I don't understand. Like, just say if you can't say,
- 47:28Speaker 1: if we're not allowed to say something, at least tell
- 47:30Speaker 1: us what it is.
- 47:31Speaker 3: No, we're not. They always keep you in this kind
- 47:34Speaker 3: of fear of saying something wrong. And they have all
- 47:36Speaker 3: of your anti-Semitic ransom. It's like, guys, like you have
- 47:39Speaker 3: to stop this anti-Semitic because- Well, it.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Becomes this boy that cried wolf kind of thing where
- 47:42Speaker 1: it's like you accuse everybody of- Of anti-Semitism. It's like, dude,
- 47:45Speaker 1: I have so many Jewish friends. You think I'd be,
- 47:48Speaker 1: I'm not, I don't like Netanyahu. I don't like some
- 47:50Speaker 1: of the choices that I feel like that that country makes,
- 47:52Speaker 1: but I don't, I don't have anything against my Jewish
- 47:58Speaker 1: friends though.
- 47:58Speaker 3: That's why I'm very careful when I talk. I never
- 48:00Speaker 3: say Jewish people. I say pro-Zionist. Zionist, Israel, pro-Israel. I
- 48:05Speaker 3: never taught. No, no, I don't say about Israel because
- 48:09Speaker 3: I know that a lot of Jewish people don't like
- 48:11Speaker 3: what Israel is doing. I know a lot of Jewish
- 48:13Speaker 3: people don't like how they control the Congress. I don't
- 48:15Speaker 3: like how a lot of Jewish people that don't like
- 48:17Speaker 3: how AIPAC, which is a foreign lobby, and yet is
- 48:20Speaker 3: allowed to operate under American local law, that they can
- 48:25Speaker 3: openly brag about buying Congress seats, if you go into
- 48:30Speaker 3: APAC Twitter account or X account, they would brag about
- 48:35Speaker 3: like how 98% of our candidates... Do.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Not accept all cookies if you go over there.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like go to their... No, not network, APAC. Just, yeah, APAC.
- 48:48Speaker 1: It's A-I-P-A-C.
- 48:48Speaker 3: A-I, A-I-P-A, A-I, A-I.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Yes.
- 48:54Speaker 1: And APAC.
- 48:55Speaker 3: No, no, no, not tracker.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Yeah, APAC.
- 48:56Speaker 3: Yeah, that's one. Yes.
- 48:57Speaker 1: And what is APAC?
- 48:59Speaker 3: American Israel Public Affairs Committee. Yeah, public affairs, yeah, public affairs.
- 49:03Speaker 3: So go down, go down, and see what they talk
- 49:06Speaker 3: about the elections. When they talk about the elections, they
- 49:09Speaker 3: always talk about, like, they end it with, yeah, another great,
- 49:16Speaker 3: being pro-Israeli is good policy and good politics. They end
- 49:19Speaker 3: that with every, 100% of ABAC and Georgia Democrats want
- 49:21Speaker 3: their primary rate, 100%. How is like a foreign country,
- 49:26Speaker 3: like a foreign, like a lobby that's worked for a
- 49:29Speaker 3: foreign country, brags about buying your elections like that? You see,
- 49:34Speaker 3: being pro-Israeli is good policy and good, they end every
- 49:37Speaker 3: single thing tweet is like that. They are basically looking
- 49:40Speaker 3: you in the eyes and say like, we're buying your
- 49:42Speaker 3: elections and you can't do anything about it. So I
- 49:45Speaker 3: can accept that from NRA because the NRA is a
- 49:47Speaker 3: domestic group, right? At least it presents the interest of
- 49:53Speaker 3: American gun owners. Oh, this is a very... Oh, I
- 50:00Speaker 3: just saw this guy recently.
- 50:01Speaker 4: Mr.
- 50:01Speaker 3: Massey who said like each one in Capitol Hill has
- 50:05Speaker 3: an APAC handler. It's like I need to talk to
- 50:07Speaker 3: my guy. Everybody but me has an APAC person.
- 50:11Speaker 1: What does that mean, an APAC person? It's like your babysitter,
- 50:13Speaker 1: your APAC babysitter who is always talking to you for APAC.
- 50:23Speaker 1: It's just kind of like having an agent or whatever.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Yeah, but like a hand.
- 50:28Speaker 3: Go ahead, go continue. And I don't understand why every
- 50:31Speaker 3: American politician have to go there and bend the knees.
- 50:34Speaker 1: You go have lunch with them and they've got your
- 50:36Speaker 1: cell number and you have conversations with them. Well, I
- 50:42Speaker 1: think part of this... I'll talk to my AIPAC person.
- 50:45Speaker 1: It's clearly what we call them, my AIPAC guy. I'll
- 50:49Speaker 1: talk to my AIPAC guy and see if I can
- 50:50Speaker 1: get him to, you know, dial those ads back. group
- 50:55Speaker 1: of Americans who lobby on behalf of Israel. But I
- 50:59Speaker 1: think also it's like, you have to look at it
- 51:02Speaker 1: as like, we live in a country that is a capitalism, right?
- 51:07Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 51:08Speaker 1: And they are, like Israel just does, they're the best
- 51:11Speaker 1: business people, you know? They're like, it's almost like monopoly
- 51:15Speaker 1: and they won. Okay. You know, that's what I feel
- 51:17Speaker 1: like sometimes. Yeah, they won and good for them. They're
- 51:21Speaker 1: very good.
- 51:22Speaker 3: But like, how does an American feel?
- 51:24Speaker 1: But you can't hold it against them because they are
- 51:26Speaker 1: good at this. You can't hold it against them because
- 51:29Speaker 1: they won, right?
- 51:30Speaker 3: So you cannot hold it against Israel, but you hold
- 51:32Speaker 3: it against Russia if they try or China if they try.
- 51:35Speaker 3: So why do we accept it from Israel but not
- 51:37Speaker 3: from Russia?
- 51:37Speaker 1: Except what?
- 51:38Speaker 3: Except them controlling the elections. You understand? So you have
- 51:43Speaker 3: an AIPAC, which is a lobby, basic lobbying for another country.
- 51:50Speaker 3: This is in the news and you can look it up.
- 51:53Speaker 3: They paid $ 100 million in order to buy seats for
- 51:58Speaker 3: Congress people and Senate. And because of the people they
- 52:01Speaker 3: were able to put there, they were able to approve
- 52:04Speaker 3: $ 26 billion to Israel. So understand, as an American, your
- 52:10Speaker 3: politicians are being bought for $ 100 million, and because of that,
- 52:14Speaker 3: your country will send 26 billion to a different country.
- 52:19Speaker 3: 26 billion that could have been spent in my own country,
- 52:22Speaker 3: in my own community. This is the biggest, the best
- 52:25Speaker 3: return of investment ever. You pay 100 million and I
- 52:28Speaker 3: take back 26 billion from you. That's crazy. And this
- 52:32Speaker 3: is why when I talk about what's happening is I'm
- 52:34Speaker 3: not even, you see like, oh yeah, you've missed that.
- 52:38Speaker 3: What you just had, AIPAC targets Progressive with $ 100 million
- 52:41Speaker 3: in its coffers. So basically anybody who talks against you
- 52:45Speaker 3: in Congress, you pay, basically you pay them out, and
- 52:50Speaker 3: then you take more money. Don't we as Americans deserve
- 52:55Speaker 3: the $ 26 billion.
- 52:55Speaker 1: To be put in our communities? Oh, I agree 100%.
- 52:58Speaker 3: Oh, I think it's like, this is, we give them money,
- 53:01Speaker 3: but they control us?
- 53:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:03Speaker 3: This is like.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Oh, it's fucking business, dude.
- 53:08Speaker 3: This is like a sugar daddy who's being slapped around
- 53:11Speaker 3: like a bitch from his sugar baby. This is like
- 53:15Speaker 3: basically picking up a whore in the strip mall, in
- 53:18Speaker 3: the strip in Las Vegas, and then suddenly she's in
- 53:20Speaker 3: charge of your life. This is like having a dominatrix
- 53:24Speaker 3: and stuff like that. It's like, I'm gonna kick your
- 53:26Speaker 3: balls and you're gonna like it. And you're gonna pay
- 53:28Speaker 3: me $ 26 billion for it. It's like, that doesn't work.
- 53:32Speaker 3: Because I come from the Middle East and I'm used
- 53:34Speaker 3: to dictatorship. I am used for us having no voice.
- 53:38Speaker 3: I'm used to a certain class of people controlling everything.
- 53:41Speaker 3: the country, but even then, we knew that these people
- 53:44Speaker 3: are not in control because they had to answer for
- 53:47Speaker 3: China or Russia or America or France, right? Because we're
- 53:51Speaker 3: a dictatorship. This is how dictatorship works. A democracy loving
- 53:55Speaker 3: country like America or Britain go control a certain country
- 53:58Speaker 3: and it's easier for them to deal with a dictator.
- 54:00Speaker 3: So we knew that they were not calling the shots.
- 54:02Speaker 3: It was called from Washington. I'm fine with that because
- 54:05Speaker 3: I'm a third world country. We're from the Middle East.
- 54:07Speaker 3: We have to follow the masters of this planet. Now,
- 54:11Speaker 3: I came to America and I became an American. I
- 54:12Speaker 3: thought I was like joining the winning team. I will
- 54:17Speaker 3: have a say in my country. And then suddenly my country,
- 54:20Speaker 3: the most powerful country in the world, the superpower in
- 54:22Speaker 3: the world has its policies being dictated from Tel Aviv.
- 54:25Speaker 1: How does it work?
- 54:26Speaker 3: You see? And it's fine, and I ask Americans, guys,
- 54:30Speaker 3: are you used to this kind of humiliation? You're supposed
- 54:33Speaker 3: to be like from a country for the people, by
- 54:36Speaker 3: the people, and then suddenly your elections and being dictated
- 54:39Speaker 3: by a different country, how does it work?
- 54:41Speaker 1: But to me, the thing is just like making it,
- 54:44Speaker 1: is it true or not? It's like, just tell me
- 54:47Speaker 1: what's happening.
- 54:49Speaker 3: I just told you.
- 54:50Speaker 1: Right.
- 54:50Speaker 3: So whatever, I just told you that like a foreign
- 54:53Speaker 3: lobby from a foreign country is controlling your politics right
- 54:56Speaker 3: in front of you. And then you have, and by
- 54:59Speaker 3: the way, I understand how lobby works. Because, but remember
- 55:04Speaker 3: when Democrats was giving shit to Republicans, were they having
- 55:07Speaker 3: so much money from NRA, right? Oh, you're taking money
- 55:10Speaker 3: from the gun lobby. How dare you? And then the
- 55:13Speaker 3: Republicans were attacked. You're taking money from tech. Israel is
- 55:17Speaker 3: the only country that gives both sides and nobody questions.
- 55:22Speaker 3: So basically it's not, caring about the education will not
- 55:26Speaker 3: get you elected. Caring about healthcare will not get you elected.
- 55:30Speaker 3: Caring about the well-being of your American constituents will not
- 55:33Speaker 3: get you elected. It is caring about what's good for Israel.
- 55:36Speaker 3: So yes, guys, our neighborhood is shit. We have no sewage,
- 55:39Speaker 3: no education, but God bless Israel. It doesn't, you're basically
- 55:43Speaker 3: having a lot of people elected for your Congress to
- 55:46Speaker 3: look for a different country, to look out for a
- 55:48Speaker 3: different country.
- 55:49Speaker 1: To me, it does seem very bizarre. Yeah, I think
- 55:53Speaker 1: a lot of that stuff, like when it hits my
- 55:55Speaker 1: heart over the past, like especially eight months, you know,
- 55:59Speaker 1: it's been, it makes me feel like there has to
- 56:02Speaker 1: be a way better way to figure things out.
- 56:05Speaker 3: It's all about like fear mongering. They will tell you,
- 56:07Speaker 3: but Israel is alone. It is surrounded by enemies that
- 56:10Speaker 3: want to wipe us.
- 56:11Speaker 1: Is that true or not? Is Israel surrounded by enemies
- 56:14Speaker 1: or not? Bring the map of the Middle East. Because
- 56:17Speaker 1: one of the reasons I'm sure America and Israel have a, like,
- 56:21Speaker 1: work together is because they need each other, right?
- 56:24Speaker 3: Okay, so Egypt is surrounded by Egypt. Egypt is the
- 56:26Speaker 3: biggest military force in the Middle East. That's my country.
- 56:29Speaker 3: And they have having like a 45 years lasting peace treaty.
- 56:34Speaker 3: There has never been a single missile or bullet shot
- 56:37Speaker 3: from Egypt to Israel all over that. So Egypt and
- 56:41Speaker 3: Israel have a good- Yeah, Jordan is the other country's peace.
- 56:46Speaker 3: The UAE piece, do you have, really the big threat
- 56:51Speaker 3: for Israel is the little militant group in the Gaza Strip,
- 56:54Speaker 3: which is Hamas, and Hezbollah, which is south of Lebanon.
- 56:57Speaker 3: And if you have all of that military might.
- 56:59Speaker 1: Hezbollah, the president?
- 57:00Speaker 3: Yeah, it's up there. Like you see the gray area,
- 57:03Speaker 3: like in Lebanon? Yeah. So basically you have like two
- 57:07Speaker 3: militant groups who doesn't like you, right? Supported by Iran,
- 57:10Speaker 3: which is far away from you. And you have all
- 57:12Speaker 3: of these Arab countries around you, basically friends with you.
- 57:16Speaker 3: So all of you, they wanna kill us all. We're
- 57:18Speaker 3: gonna perish. Well, fuck you.
- 57:19Speaker 1: All of this.
- 57:19Speaker 3: You see Saudi Arabia, they have like almost normalized relationship. UAE,
- 57:23Speaker 3: one of the countries.
- 57:24Speaker 1: So you don't believe that. You believe that they have,
- 57:26Speaker 1: it's pretty stable over there.
- 57:27Speaker 3: It is a way to push in war and make you,
- 57:29Speaker 3: because if you're not threatened, how can you sell the war?
- 57:32Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 57:33Speaker 3: And if you talk about October 7th, see what, they
- 57:36Speaker 3: want you to believe that before October 7th, there were peace. Actually,
- 57:40Speaker 3: before October 7th, two weeks before October 7th, Israel bombed
- 57:43Speaker 3: Gaza three times. Before October 7th, Israel already killed 75
- 57:47Speaker 3: children in the West Bank in the same year. All
- 57:51Speaker 3: of these numbers were happening. All of this ongoing. There
- 57:53Speaker 3: was no peace before October 7th. And you go in
- 57:56Speaker 3: and you come with these lies that has never been
- 57:58Speaker 3: refuted by the American media, although it was found to
- 58:01Speaker 3: be lies. And lies and lies. And you do that
- 58:04Speaker 3: because you want to tell people we're dealing with terrorists.
- 58:07Speaker 3: All of the Arab countries hate us and we have
- 58:08Speaker 3: to kill us. And then they will bring in the Holocaust.
- 58:11Speaker 3: I'm very sorry for the Holocaust, guys, but we had
- 58:13Speaker 3: nothing to do with your Holocaust. We were just like
- 58:16Speaker 3: minding our fucking business.
- 58:17Speaker 1: I was dead or whatever. I wasn't dead. I wasn't alive.
- 58:20Speaker 3: We were in the Middle East. We were just there.
- 58:22Speaker 3: And the Holocaust happened to you in Europe. It didn't
- 58:24Speaker 3: happen to you because of us. And then you import
- 58:27Speaker 3: people from a different continent because you didn't want them.
- 58:29Speaker 3: You didn't give them visa. You didn't take them as refugees.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Oh, America and Britain, you mean? Yeah.
- 58:34Speaker 3: And then you put them on our land and then
- 58:36Speaker 3: you take our land and then you tell everybody, oh,
- 58:38Speaker 3: there was no one there.
- 58:39Speaker 1: So has America showed up or Britain showed up and
- 58:42Speaker 1: tried to help like... facilitate like communications to make things
- 58:47Speaker 1: better there?
- 58:48Speaker 3: There were many tries for peace treaties, but Obama said
- 58:51Speaker 3: it best. In his book, he said, the problem with
- 58:53Speaker 3: Israel and Palestine is that one of them is very
- 58:55Speaker 3: strong and one side is very weak. And there's nothing
- 58:58Speaker 3: that compels me to give you land. So they will
- 59:01Speaker 3: tell you, oh, we gave five chances to the Palestinians.
- 59:05Speaker 3: And they said, no, that is not true. When I
- 59:08Speaker 3: have the whole land and sell you're going to give
- 59:11Speaker 3: me 49%, that is not a deal. That's like if
- 59:13Speaker 3: you don't like it, we're going to take it from you.
- 59:15Speaker 3: If you give me like a shitty deal and I
- 59:17Speaker 3: don't accept it because that is my land, you're just
- 59:20Speaker 3: going to say like, oh, they didn't accept it.
- 59:22Speaker 1: Right, but have there been deals offered one way or
- 59:24Speaker 1: the other, like peace?
- 59:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, like there's something called the Oslo Accords. It
- 59:27Speaker 3: happened in 1995. The Oslo Accords? The Oslo Accords. And
- 59:31Speaker 3: you have Netanyahu bragging on tape saying that I have
- 59:37Speaker 3: personally sabotaged the Oslo Accords, so it means nothing.
- 59:41Speaker 1: Okay, the Oslo Accords are a pair of interim agreements
- 59:43Speaker 1: between Israel and Palestine Liberation Organization, PLO, signed in Washington, D.C.
- 59:49Speaker 1: in 1993. signed in Egypt in 1995. They marked the
- 59:52Speaker 1: start of the Oslo process, a peace process aimed at
- 59:55Speaker 1: achieving a peace treaty based on resolutions of the United
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: Nations Security Council. Among the notable outcomes, Oslo Awards were
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: the creation of the Palestinian National Authority, which was tasked
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: with the responsibility of conducting limited Palestinian governance over parts
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. So this was
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: helping Palestine create a government?
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Yes, but then it was, all over the way, it's
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: now clear the Oslo Peace Accords were wrecked by Netanyahu.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: And that was written by Avish Lime, who's an Israeli author.
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Because there's people in Israel that don't agree with Netanyahu, right? Yes,
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: But honestly, I'm sick and tired of saying, oh, Netanyahu
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: is bad, but the rest of Israel, no. 98% of
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Israeli community said that we're not doing enough in Gaza.
- 1:00:37Speaker 3: Only 2% says it's too much. 70% of Israelis said
- 1:00:41Speaker 3: that we should not send humanitarian aid to Gaza. A
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: lot of people, and I don't blame, I mean, I
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: blame them, but when you tell your people that those
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: are like evils and they're like vampires and they're like killers,
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: of course you're gonna hate them. Of course you don't
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: want them to live. But you cannot expect to treat
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: people like animals, and when they behave like animals, retaliate
- 1:01:02Speaker 3: like animals, you go on and complain, right?
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: How do you, is there a way Because man, it's just,
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: there's so much, there's so much damage done there. Yeah.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: How do you find, how is there some sort of
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a solution? Like what direction do you see?
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: The solution is fixing the occupation. There is an occupation.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: And why doesn't America and Britain step in and say, look,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: we helped create this in the beginning. We want to
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: be here to help us like establish safety for these
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: people now. Okay, America.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: What is America made of? Government. What is the government
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: is made of? Elected officials. These people are elected through what?
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: Through elections. Who's controlling the elections and paying for certain
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: people to be there? AIPAC.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: But doesn't every country have lobbyists that try to influence
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: our elections?
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Not a foreign lobby like this. Yeah, there is lobbies everywhere.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: But when you have a foreign lobby that works for
- 1:01:56Speaker 3: an external country, that is not normal theory.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: But is that considered just like a... You know how
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: we have.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Like little base or a little, what are the places
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: called if you're in London? Oh, the embassy, like we
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: have embassies in different places. Isn't that just like them
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: having like a human embassy or something like a- No, no.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: You know what I'm talking about, kind of?
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: I understand, but like that doesn't work with lobbies with
- 1:02:19Speaker 3: parliaments and like, This is, again, this is like imagine
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: a lobby that is openly funded by China and that
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: lobby going there and buying seats for people who are pro-China.
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: It seemed like unfair. It should not be accepted in
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: a democratic country.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Why do we allow that to happen? It would seem like, well,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: but then you know what? That's where it comes down
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: to capitalism because it's the same shit that we allow
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: where just like where that drug company came in and
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: hired former people from the FDA to come and work
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: for their drug company. No, that's wrong.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: That's illegal.
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: And also the government. I mean, capitalism wants you to
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: believe that there's nothing you can do. It's only the
- 1:03:03Speaker 3: free market. Even the free market has some sort of
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: a government control. If a company goes out and become
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: a monopoly, you have antitrust laws. And that government can
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: curb that company. But the problem is the government that
- 1:03:15Speaker 3: should curb the influence of a foreign lobby is being
- 1:03:18Speaker 3: paid by the same foreign lobby. So who would come
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: up and put like a questioning for Israel lobby, the
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: people they just paid get into Congress? I paid you.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: I own your ass. You're not gonna go into Congress
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: and then ask why are we following.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: So. Israel's a gangster.
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: Exactly. This is what really make me disenfranchised. I came,
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: you know, I became an American citizen in 2019. And
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: I was so proud. Right in time for the 2020 elections.
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: I was so happy. I'm gonna be elected. It took
- 1:03:46Speaker 3: me now four years. I'm not gonna vote in the
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: coming elections. What's the point? Like, what about America, man?
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: What America? It's like, so now I'm, why would I
- 1:03:54Speaker 3: even care to vote for anybody while both of them
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: are competing to be Israel's favorite bitch? It's basically like this.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: It's like, oh, I'm the best one for Israel. How
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: about being the best one for America? How about doing
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: what's good for America? Is it good for America to
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: pay $ 26 billion? If I'm seeing this, how do I
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: feel as an American?
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Well, I think it's, well, for one, I think a
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: lot of people don't know what to think. A lot
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: of people aren't super clear on maybe what's going on,
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: Because they're not allowed to because they are being All
- 1:04:26Speaker 3: they need to know is to see the headlines of
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: the news. And the headlines of the news is always
- 1:04:29Speaker 3: something bad about Palestinians or something bad about, nothing is bad.
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: They don't spend enough time because they want their ESPNs
- 1:04:37Speaker 3: and they want their Netflix. They don't want to involve.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: That's why a lot of Americans are still believing in
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: the raping and the decapitated babies because you can't stay
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: tuned into the news for long. So for them, they
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: do the shock, the lies, And then when people said, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: wait a minute, that didn't happen. It's like, ah, it's
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: too late now because people are kind of, they're too doubt.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I think a lot of people do not even
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: believe the news at all anymore, though. I think the
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: news has super lost a ton of credibility over the years.
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: So what happens? You create a kind of apathy. So
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: people don't care and business go as usual. The Congress
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: getting bought, people getting bribed, $ 26 billion getting sent to Israel,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: people continue having bombing, and then every now and then,
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: Why is this happening? Because you checked out a long
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: time ago. And then you ask, what can we do? Nothing,
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: because they made you check out a long time ago.
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: So we have all of these people looking at what
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: the government's doing, looking at what the world is doing.
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: It's like, that ain't right, but there's nothing I can
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: do about it. And this is exactly how you run
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: the world. In my country, in the Middle East, I
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: do that because you cannot speak up because you're gonna
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: be put in jail. But here, you can speak up,
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: but nothing will happen.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: But here I think sometimes you get afraid to even
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: ask questions about stuff. And it's like, well, this doesn't
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: even make any sense. Like, just at least let things
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: make sense to me. For me, not be able to
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: ask questions and shit is just fucking, that's the thing
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: that's really, really weird.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's all about like the attacking. So if
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: you to go and you repeat what I just told you,
- 1:06:08Speaker 3: it's like, oh, he's a liar. He's an anti-Semite. He
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: hate Jews. Okay, what did he lie about? They will
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: never give you a details. What did he lie about?
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: I'll give you an example. On the second Piers Morgan interview,
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: I went up to him and I gave him a story.
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: I told him that Israel used to give contraceptive pills
- 1:06:24Speaker 3: to the Ethiopian Jews, Ethiopian Jewish women who were immigrated
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: from Ethiopia. And for more than 15 years, Israel would
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: give them contraceptive shots without them knowing. So they would
- 1:06:38Speaker 3: sterilize them. They would not allow them to breathe because
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: they are black.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: Dude, you know what I noticed, dude? I was in
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Atlanta at the Coca-Cola factory or whatever, and you can
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: taste all the sodas from around the world.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Look.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: Ethiopian women in Israel get contraceptive without consent, huh? Yeah.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: So when I, Benjamin Netanyahu was in the government and
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: he came out and he personally apologized, right? So this
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: is cut and dry. You cannot, and you know what happened?
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: The Israelis on the, oh, he's a liar. That never happens.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: It's here.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: So this is, I'm just preparing you that every time
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: you're going to tell them something, they will tell you, oh,
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: it's a lie. It's a lie. Nobody said that. Nobody
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: said that.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: Well, a lot of that's just, yeah, people, will position
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: themselves constantly. You know, it's like people are, especially if
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: people are up to no good, nobody wants to get caught.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: A lot of times. Yeah.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: It's like you saying something and somebody, you're a racist.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: It's like, wait, what did I just said that was racist? Oh, no, no,
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: you're racist. You're making me uncomfortable. You see that, the
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: way that they attack you?
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: It's like, okay, attack what I said.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: If I'm racist, dude, I do it at home, behind
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: closed doors.
- 1:07:59Speaker 3: But this is, you're anti-Semitic, you're racist, you're a homophobe.
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: The way that they use, like the same way, oh,
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: you're Islamophobe. I don't like this word, Islamophobe.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody cares about that shit anymore.
- 1:08:09Speaker 3: Nobody cares.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Well, people have thrown around some of those terms so
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: many times, it's like the boy that cried wolf kind
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: of in a way. It's like, you can't... I can't,
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: you can't make it feel like I can't ask something
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: or talk about something. Yeah, it just, sometimes it just,
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: sometimes some of that stuff is strange. And it's hard.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: I mean, some of this stuff is even hard to
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: talk about because it's like, I worry that even just
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: by having like some of this conversation, it's like, you just,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: it's kind of scary because I don't know what I
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: could get in trouble for.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: But this is scary, man, because like, I'm new to
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: this country. So like, I'm kind of like following your
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: lead guys. And I'm saying like, wait, isn't this country
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: made created on the cornerstone of freedom of expression. Why
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: is there some things that we are not allowed to
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: speak about or afraid? This is the promise of the West.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Come here and speak and say whatever you want no
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: matter how offensive it is, it doesn't matter because it
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: is words. But then suddenly you come here and you
- 1:09:05Speaker 3: find all of these red lines. And I was made
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: fun of like when I came, oh, you came from
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: the Middle East, you have all of these red lines.
- 1:09:10Speaker 3: You cannot speak about that. We can't speak about Jesus.
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: We can't speak about the American president. You can't speak.
- 1:09:15Speaker 3: And now I come here and I see the red line.
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: You have one red line.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: And you have one red line. Everybody here, not you.
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Then that red line, everybody can see you guys cannot
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: be able to talk about, which is Israel. This is
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: your red line. Your red line is not even in
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: your country.
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Which is crazy.
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: That's a crazy statement.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Dude, I'll tell you what I heard, dude. I heard
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: that Jesus did like a lot of impersonations and stuff. Yeah.
- 1:09:41Speaker 3: What did he impersonate? His dad?
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: Just his friends and stuff. But I heard that somewhere.
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: I don't know where I read that, but he would
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: do like impersonations, I guess, or whatever.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: What he would be like the Archangel Michael. It's like, hey, Jesus. Hey, Jesus.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: So an archangel walks into a crowd.
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: Okay, I'll tell you something about like things that people
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: find offensive, for example. we were basically profiled as Muslims
- 1:10:12Speaker 3: that we hate.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Slims, we call them.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, slims.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: I made that up a couple years ago. It's like a,
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: I don't want to say it's a racial slur, but
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: if it is, you're welcome.
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: Slims?
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: It's like the slims of cigarettes?
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: Whenever we say Muslims, we say slims. I think it's,
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: I really like it. Some people might not like it,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: and that's okay.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: One thing that kind of drives me crazy sometimes, we
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: like Israel, but we don't like Muslims. Why? And then
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: Paul is like, Judeo-Christian values. Have you heard about that?
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: Judeo-Christian values. Guys, what do you talk about Judeo-Christian values?
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: You understand that people in Israel hate Christians. You understand that?
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: That's not true, you think?
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: You go right now in the video, and you write,
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: Israelis spitting on Christians in Bethlehem or spitting on Christians
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: in Israel. You see? Spitting, hitting attacks on Israel and
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: surging in Israel. Occupied Islam, ultra-Jewish, spitting on Christians.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: But this could be specific stuff.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: No, no, this is part, okay, so. You know what
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: I'm saying?
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: This might not be an everyday thing, because I have
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: a lot of friends that are Jewish, and they'll treat
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: me bad.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: There's like so many videos. It's just like the videos
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: keep scrolling as we say, that's not that very, you
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: see how many videos right now we're talking? The videos
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: keep scrolling. It's not that everything, but we happen to
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: have 100 videos to say that that's true.
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: Oh, it says there's only 2,000 videos.
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: Okay, and you have actually one of their ministers, Ben-Gavir,
- 1:11:46Speaker 3: who is the basic national security, as we said, it
- 1:11:49Speaker 3: is actually part of our religion. There's no hate about that.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: And many of their rabbis will say that Jesus right now,
- 1:11:57Speaker 3: Jesus is the son of a whore. The Virgin Mary
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: is a whore. She made up the whole thing about
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: the Son of God in order to cover for her adultery.
- 1:12:05Speaker 3: And Jesus right now is being burned with feces and
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: semen for eternity. This is what they say. So basically,
- 1:12:13Speaker 3: I don't know if you follow this trend. I've never
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: heard that. Yeah, you can find it out.
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: And this is a trend on TikTok?
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: No, not a trend. These videos are already there. So basically,
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: when Christians go there, the Orthodox Jews will go, haktua.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: They go, haktua. They spit on that thing. And again,
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: I'm not saying that this represent all Jews, but what
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: I'm saying is if you want net pick about this stuff,
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: because I grew up as a Muslim, and all of
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: those videos, net picking of like, oh, look at this
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: extreme Muslim who said that. Oh, this must be all Muslim,
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: all Muslim terrorists. And you have a lot of those
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: videos and nobody's talking about it. So you understand like
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: how this is personal for me? And I'm fine talking
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: about those horrible people in the Muslim community, but talk
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: about everybody. Don't limit our speech. And by the way,
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: and I hate the word Islamophobe. Anybody is allowed to
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: talk about Islam or the Quran or whatever, I will
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: never call you an Islamophobe. But I'm an equal opportunity offender.
- 1:13:15Speaker 3: If you talk about my religion, let's talk about everybody's religion.
- 1:13:18Speaker 3: If you're gonna talk about my politics, let's talk about
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: everybody's politics. I'm not here to attack Jewish people. I'm
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: not here to attack Israel. I am just asking for
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: my right as an American to be able to speak
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: about everything without having fear of being canceled or having
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: my career canceled Canceled. I had opportunities, my opportunities in
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: Hollywood dried up completely after I took them.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Is that true?
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: Do you think it's tougher for Arabic and Islamic entertainers
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: in Hollywood?
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: It is tougher, but there's also people who are not Muslims,
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: who are not Arabs, who had canceled because of their opinions.
- 1:13:56Speaker 3: There have been blacklists of people in tech companies that
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: have been removed from their companies because of a post
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: on Facebook, and this is happening in America. And of
- 1:14:06Speaker 3: course you remember what happened in these colleges where like
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: American students were being beaten by American police for the
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: sake of a foreign country. You understand like the American
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: university movement, which one of the most amazing movement that
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: they went out against Vietnam, they went out against South Africa,
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: and now they went out against Israel and they're being
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: hit and penalized in their own campuses for just speaking up.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like they should be able to do
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: that at campuses, but then what happens is investors or
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: donators to the campuses who don't, who believe what they believe,
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: they choose to take their money away.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: And those donors are pro what?
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: They're pro money.
- 1:14:51Speaker 3: So if you, right, please, Jewish billionaires threaten Columbia universities
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: to withdraw their money. I'm never going to fucking work again. Dude,
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: I came here having receipts.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I know, but I'm gonna get in trouble, dude.
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: Bro, pro-Israel Jewish billionaires, look, there it is. Billionaires stop
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: Colombia cash over anti-Israel protests. Colombia billionaires, dollars are more giving.
- 1:15:15Speaker 3: So you see, what does it, so your donors, the
- 1:15:19Speaker 3: donors have more loyalty to a foreign country and telling you,
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: if you speak against that foreign country, I'm not even
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: giving you my money.
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: But it makes sense, though. That makes sense. If you
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: think that, That you, say you're a, like I'm a
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: New Orleans Saints fan. If somebody, if somebody puts up
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: a Falcons flag, an Atlanta Falcons flag, and I'm a
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: New Orleans Saints fan, and it's my bar or something,
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: or I'm the one that helps take care of the
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: place where they're putting the flag up, I'm going to
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: be upset. I'm going to say, well, I'm not going
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to help take care of this place anymore if you
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: support this.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: But the Falcon and myself, these are two people in
- 1:15:51Speaker 3: the league, in an American league. But you are basically
- 1:15:54Speaker 3: talking about a different, I'm not even talking about, I'm
- 1:15:57Speaker 3: not even describing, Attacking your team. I made a bad choice.
- 1:16:02Speaker 3: I am saying that I don't want my college to
- 1:16:05Speaker 3: take part from, you know, I understand why they went.
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: They said, like, we need to divest from any investment
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: with the Israeli army. Is that fair or not? That's fair. Like,
- 1:16:20Speaker 3: I don't want my universities, the universities that I pay
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: tuition to, to be involved with the military or the Israel,
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: that's fair. And then you have Bunar, no, we need
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: to be involved in other people's shit. And he need
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: not to speak about that. That doesn't make any sense.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: That doesn't make any sense to me, man.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Well, why don't like Arab, like why don't different groups
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: start to build their own strongholds of like university and
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: like media organizations so that everybody can have their own channels.
- 1:16:53Speaker 3: Most Arabs work in vaping. I don't know that there's
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: enough money in the Arab community.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Hey, smoke signals.
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: We just said that Jewish people are very good in business.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: We can't compete with that. We just have hookahs and vapes.
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: We can't compete with them. But you see, if that
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: is the case, don't call it a democracy anymore. If
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: the whole idea about who pays the more money, it's
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: an oligarchy. Don't call yourself democratic. Just say, hey, it's
- 1:17:19Speaker 3: a capitalist country. Whoever has more money, but that's dangerous
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: because tomorrow China might have more money here and control it.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: So it has to be a fair game for everybody.
- 1:17:28Speaker 3: But it's not fair because now they say TikTok, we
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: need to ban TikTok because it's against Israel because it's pro-China.
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: So you're not even making the game fair. If Israel
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: can buy its way through it, anybody should buy the
- 1:17:44Speaker 3: way through it.
- 1:17:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Oh, I see what you're saying. You're saying, well, then
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: if that's the case, then China should be able to
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: do it too.
- 1:17:50Speaker 3: And Saudi Arabia is able to do it, and Iran
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: is able.
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: To do it. But Israel's an ally. I guess, like...
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: Why is.
- 1:17:55Speaker 3: Israel an ally?
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 1:17:58Speaker 3: And which ally have you given $ 26 billion?
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: I don't know, dude.
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: You see, but this is the thing. We're repeating that, oh,
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: Israel is our greatest ally. Why?
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I don't know, but you have to have... Well, here's why.
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: I believe, this is what I've always been... kind of like,
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: I guess, heard, is that you have to have an
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: ally in the Middle East because there's so much oil
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: and power and money over there.
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: America doesn't have allies in the middle. What about Saudi Arabia?
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: The biggest oil production company in the world. Iraq, Egypt, UAE, Kuwait.
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: All of these are allies for the United States.
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: I don't know if Saudi Arabia is an ally. I
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: don't know about that.
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: Really? Saudi Arabia is the most beneficial for your economy.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: They are the biggest buyer of your weapons.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Except for those two buildings in New York City, dude.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Outside of that. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: Well, and so why didn't you go after them?
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Because I guess somebody owed somebody some money or something.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: That's about 9-11 now because it's a bigger issue. We're
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: going to go really down the rabbit hole. But here's
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: the thing. You have all of those people that are allies.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: What has Israel done to you being an ally? It
- 1:19:00Speaker 3: has ruined your reputation in front of everybody. Everybody hates
- 1:19:03Speaker 3: America because of Israel.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I don't know if that's true. You think so?
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: Everybody hates America because of Israel. I'm telling you. And
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: that's why they hate America because of what Israel is
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: doing in Palestine. And how America is supporting Israel forever.
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: And if you find America supporting the killing of my people,
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: you can't help but people hate you, right? At a
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: certain point, I don't think that Israel is a good
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: ally for us. They are costing us a lot of money.
- 1:19:29Speaker 3: They are harboring a lot of terrorists. They are Jewish
- 1:19:32Speaker 3: Defense League. There are three people from Jewish Defense League
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: in 1994 who killed an American citizen and they escaped
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: to Israel and Israel is not delivering you. Is that
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: a work of an ally? Israel hit the USS Liberty
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: in 1967. It's an American vessel. Is that an American?
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: No.
- 1:19:49Speaker 3: There's a book called By Way of Deception by Victor
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: Ostrovinsky who was an ex-MOSAD officer who said that Israel
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: knew about the 1982 Lebanon bombing where 52 Americans were
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: killed and Mossad held the information because they want to
- 1:20:08Speaker 3: do it in spite. Is that the work of an ally?
- 1:20:11Speaker 3: Israel harbors the biggest number of pedophiles in Israel, more
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: than 50 people at least from 2014 by the Jewish
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: Watch community. There's actually a Jewish group who have actually
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: said that. So you have people who are molesting American
- 1:20:30Speaker 3: children in America and they're escaping to Israel using the
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: dual nationality thing and Israel is not giving you back.
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: Is that the work of an ally?
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: If somebody's a molester, you gotta send them back.
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: It's on CBS News if you want to look at.
- 1:20:42Speaker 3: Like CBS News, you can talk about it.
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: You don't like Israel, I think.
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: I don't like Israel, no. I do not like it.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: I think their ways are evil. You see how Jewish
- 1:20:52Speaker 3: American pedophiles hide from justice in Israel. That's CBS. I'm
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: not making this up.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: A lot of them too would hide by the, would
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: hide by the Winn-Dixie in our area. Is this a
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: work of an ally?
- 1:21:06Speaker 3: Is an ally giving you $ 100 million to bribe your politicians,
- 1:21:09Speaker 3: buy your elections, and then make you pay $ 26 billion?
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: That's not a work of an ally. If someone takes
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: $ 70 million of tax exempt money for their veterans, that's
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: not a work of an ally.
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: But how much, how many issues did America create for
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: itself just with its own practices of doing those sorts
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: of things to other countries and stuff, I wonder. You
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? I wonder if there's a part of,
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: if that's true, I don't know.
- 1:21:38Speaker 3: I mean, America has known to finance and carry out
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: coups in all kind of different countries. In Latin America,
- 1:21:46Speaker 3: they're known to overthrowing a government if they don't like.
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: For example, it happened in Chile, it happened in Argentina,
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: it happens in so many places. It happened in Iraq,
- 1:21:54Speaker 3: Iraq in 1954, there was like an elected official that
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: they thrown out because of oil agreements. America is known
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: to manipulate the whole world. That's what superpowers do. Like
- 1:22:08Speaker 3: the Romans did it, the Greeks came, I accept that.
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: I accept that because you're the police of the planet. Yes,
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: it happens, it comes with a cost.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: It's terrible. But couldn't that evolve and then Israel could
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: just become that?
- 1:22:19Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: Like if we were the leader at one time, Couldn't
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: Israel be the leader at one time? Couldn't China be
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: the leader at one time?
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: Well, China I can accept because it's a superpower. But
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: Israel is a client state. It's a small state. This
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: is like basically you living, you working in a corporate
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: and the CEO coming every day and shitting on your office,
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: shitting on your office. It's like, but he's the CEO,
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: he's the owner. But then he brings his little poodle
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: and then he shits on your desk. That's too much.
- 1:22:48Speaker 3: That's Israel, right? I can accept it because you are
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: the superpower of the world, but don't bring your brat
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: dog to do it on my desk. That's too much.
- 1:22:58Speaker 3: Because the only way that I can do anything for
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: that dog is that the owner is the CEO and
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: I don't want to be fired. So that's basically, Israel
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: is the bulldog that's harassing everybody around it in the region.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: And they hate us, where are we gonna perish? Fuck it,
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: you're not gonna perish. You have nuclear weapons, you have like.
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they're fine.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: They're fine now. They're fine. And then how is it
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: sense of self-defense? Because I'm sure that you've seen these videos,
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: all of these IDF soldiers wearing women's lingerie, taking like
- 1:23:27Speaker 3: the women's, the kids' toys, destroying empty hospitals, destroying empty
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: schools just for the fun of it. That doesn't look
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: like an army that is defending itself.
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: Well, to me, it's felt like the feeling of it
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: is that, um, like usually when you hear, I mean,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I've said this before, usually when you hear like free
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: a place, that's the place that needs help. You know,
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: it's like, you don't hear like free Michigan or free
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: America or free China, you know, or sometimes you hear
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: free China, but, um, But yeah, if you hear free Palestine,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: if you hear that, then that's usually, if something becomes
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: that big of a fervor that that's the campaign slogan,
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: that place usually needs some sort of help. How does
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: someplace that's stronger, like Israel that has so much, how
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: do they... help? How do we.
- 1:24:17Speaker 3: Get to it? Why would they help? They just want
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: the land. Remember the map that we saw how they disintegrated?
- 1:24:23Speaker 3: This has been ongoing from 1940s.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: But they obviously have enough of the land.
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: No, they want the whole land. They want all of
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: the West Bank. They want all of Gaza. And they
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: have said many times on television that the only way
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: this would happen if People in Gaza go into Egypt
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: and people in the West Bank are driven into Jordan.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: Is this a legitimate map? Did you draw this map?
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: It's from the internet. But they have been telling you openly,
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: we're going to displace you.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: But at a certain point, they have to recognize, hey,
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: we haven't, this is.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: No, they don't care. They haven't... Well, let's see, that's
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: the part to me that's not cool, dude. Show me
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: in this map anywhere where Israel has scaled back. What
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: they have done, they have moved forward to disintegrate the
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: land more, push the people more, abuse the people more,
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: and because they have the power, because they have America
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: behind them, they are not compelled to do anything different.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: Well, they feel like they're in the right.
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: Yes, they feel in the right, because it's given, the
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: Bible gave it to me, because God gave it to me,
- 1:25:20Speaker 3: so if I believe I'm the chosen people, I can
- 1:25:23Speaker 3: do whatever I want.
- 1:25:24Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:25:25Speaker 3: And I have to tell you, like, a lot of
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: people ask me, Bassem, are you religious? I say, like,
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: if these are God-chosen people.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: I have doubts.
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: Wow.
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I'm going to lose my job for another two more
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: years for laughing at all. But do you think, though,
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: that why doesn't America help Palestine? Why don't we?
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: Because they help. I just told you. What is America?
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: America is a government. This government is made of officials.
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: These officials are elected. They need money for the elections.
- 1:25:53Speaker 3: Who pays for election campaigns?
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: But even still, you can still help someone because they
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: need help. No.
- 1:26:00Speaker 4: No.
- 1:26:00Speaker 3: They don't care. Who's the biggest recipient of donors from Israel?
- 1:26:04Speaker 3: $ 9 million over the years. Joe Biden.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: Joe Biden, yeah. Yeah.
- 1:26:10Speaker 3: So why would he help? Why would I help Palestine
- 1:26:12Speaker 3: while I'm getting my money from you? I mean, he
- 1:26:15Speaker 3: can give me all kind of like fancy political talk,
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: but it's really about being reelected. So the idea, you
- 1:26:21Speaker 3: are thinking as a human being, what is the right
- 1:26:24Speaker 3: thing to do? And you're right. But the right thing
- 1:26:27Speaker 3: to do is not the right thing in politics. The
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: right thing in politics is to survive and have as
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: much money as possible to stay in power as long
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: as possible. No morals, no right and wrong, nothing. Just power.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: Well, one thing that didn't help, by having the term
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: free Palestine, that's going to attract.
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: All the.
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: But if you label something free something right next to Israel, dude,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: no wonder they keep coming. They should have said a
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: very expensive Palestine.
- 1:26:54Speaker 3: It's a very expensive Palestine, but it is expensive. It's
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: costing us a lot of money.
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: They should have said under contract Palestine.
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: Work in progress, Palestine.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: Now, is that a joke? Am I going to go
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: to jail? I don't know.
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: Why would you go into, you shouldn't.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: I understand that, but why do I feel like I might?
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:27:10Speaker 3: Why do you feel that? Theo, you are an outspoken person.
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: You speak about anything. You go on stage and you
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: have no boundaries. When people in America start to have
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: boundaries about a certain issue, we need to ask questions, why?
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: Oh, I get it.
- 1:27:24Speaker 4: Why?
- 1:27:26Speaker 3: And also, it's just like, it's crazy. It's just like,
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: maybe it's my disappointment because I bet everything on this country.
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: I really, really love living here, being here. And the
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: only thing that I was promised, which is freedom, it
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: seems not to work. And I'm someone who's been canceled
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: a few times from my own country. So I come here,
- 1:27:47Speaker 3: it's like, hey, America, Freedom! It's like, oh, freedom of
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: everything except that one thing? Come on, dude. What kind
- 1:27:53Speaker 3: of freedom is that? Maybe I should have like, I
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: don't know, one, two Tel Aviv instead.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Well, I think it behooves everybody if you can joke
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: about everything. I think that that makes things a lot
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: more chill. How do you handle like, Not agreeing with Israel,
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: but still supporting like your Jewish friends and stuff that
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: are in America.
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: I don't think that's a difficult choice because the Jewish people,
- 1:28:16Speaker 3: here's the thing. They want you to make you think
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: that all Jewish people are with Israel. That is not true.
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: A lot of Jewish people do not agree with that.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: Oh, yeah. I have a lot of Jewish friends that
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: are on kind of both sides of this thing.
- 1:28:28Speaker 3: You have a lot of, you have a Jewish bloc.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: that every single week that goes out in Europe and
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: in America. Remember when we were talking about those universities, encampments?
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: Many of them, there was like a Jewish block that
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: was part, and many of them were even arrested with
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: their Arab and American brothers. But they don't want to
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: talk to you about that. There is, you can find
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: many pictures for Orthodox Jews burning the Israeli flag. Orthodox
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: Jews in New York.
- 1:28:58Speaker 1: OJs, yeah.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: Yeah, OJs. They do not represent us, but they don't
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: want you to see that. They want you to see
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: one thing.
- 1:29:05Speaker 1: How do you get?
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: Here it is. All of those Jewish people, they don't
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: like what is it.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: We can't show that, dude. We're going to jail.
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: Why not? Wait, wait, wait. How many pictures of burned
- 1:29:14Speaker 3: American flag have you seen?
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: I don't look at those either.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: Not at night anyway. If you have a picture now
- 1:29:19Speaker 3: burning the American flag or the Iranian flag. Oh, you
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: can't even go to jail for it anymore. But like,
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Israeli flag?
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Why? Why?
- 1:29:26Speaker 3: I'm not inviting people to hate on Israel. I'm not
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: inviting people to hate on Jewish people. I just want
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: to say you need to have the freedom to speak
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: your mind even if it doesn't please certain people because
- 1:29:39Speaker 3: this is democracy. Democracy is noisy and you will listen
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: to things that you don't like, but you should not
- 1:29:46Speaker 3: feel afraid of speaking up your mind.
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, I think the part where I even started
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: to think about it was it just started to seem like,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: you know, obviously what happened on October 7th was horrible and,
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: but then it just started to seem like such a
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: overstatement of.
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: Yeah, we have to kill Hamas, we have to kill Hamas,
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: but it's just.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: And then they just won't exist. And so, I don't know.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: There's something inside of me, even if I don't know
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: anything about it, there's something inside of me that just says,
- 1:30:14Speaker 1: this just feels messed up.
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: I like the fact that they say, like, oh, we're
- 1:30:17Speaker 3: doing this for Palestinians. We need them. We will get
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: rid of Hamas for them, and the Palestinians will be grateful.
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: And then I see the destructions. I see that, yeah,
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: there's a lot of Palestinians who don't like Hamas. But
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: you want to convince me that you want to destroy
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: that place, and then you think those people that will
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: be left will be okay with you?
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Do you think the Palestinian people knew that Hamas was
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: gonna do this October 7th?
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: I don't think they knew. And of course, it's devastating
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: for them. And I wish the October 7th never happened.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: But again, we come back, it's like, how long can
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: you take it? How long can you take the abuse,
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: the land theft, the killing? At a certain point, you're
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: gonna be desperate. And you're gonna be desperate against a
- 1:31:02Speaker 3: much more stronger enemy. But isn't like.
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: When America revolted for tea, they revolted against a much
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: stronger enemy. And I find it very interesting how everything
- 1:31:16Speaker 3: in the American culture, you watch Star Wars, you side
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: with the rebels. You watch the Hunger Games, you side
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: with the rebels. You go to Israel, you side with
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: the oppressor. You don't side with the rebels. You don't
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: side with the people with no weapons. You don't side
- 1:31:30Speaker 3: with the people with the machine guns or the knives.
- 1:31:32Speaker 3: You side the people with the military arsenal. Because they
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: were deemed terrorists, less humans, dehumanizing. See how they talk
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: about Palestinians. They are death cults. They are terrorists.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: And what are Palestinians like?
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: Like normal people. Normal people, but they're living in a
- 1:31:49Speaker 3: horrible condition. I married one of them.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: Oh, gosh.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: So I can report that she has no fangs or
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: nails other than the nails that she does in the
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: nail salon. So she's like a normal human being. And
- 1:31:59Speaker 3: we have normal kids. And they don't turn into werewolves
- 1:32:02Speaker 3: at night. They are normal people. They are normal people
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: who have been in this land and they were taken
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: away from it. And this was a problem that was
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: imported from a different continent, done by other perpetrators. They
- 1:32:15Speaker 3: were rejected by other white people. And they were just
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: like put on us. And it is terrible and it
- 1:32:21Speaker 3: should not happen.
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: So do Palestinians also have issues with Britain and the U.S.
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: then probably? Of course.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: I don't think they have any time to have issues
- 1:32:28Speaker 3: with anybody. They have time to survive. They're living in
- 1:32:30Speaker 3: tents right now in Gaza. And the people who live
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: in West Bank are under threat to be killed or
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: kicked out at any moment. And I just want people
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: to look at them as humans. Everybody who went to Gaza,
- 1:32:45Speaker 3: everybody who went to West Bank saw what happened to
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: those people. And they will speak up. They're being shut down.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: Are you able to look at Israel as humans too?
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: Yes. Yes.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: But I look at everybody as humans. And I will
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: not do the same mistake that they have been doing
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: to us, dehumanizing us, calling us terrorists. But they are
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: acting like terrorists.
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: Why don't we give part of our country to Palestine?
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: Why don't you give part of your country to Jewish people?
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: Oh, yeah, why don't we give part of our country
- 1:33:17Speaker 1: to one of the groups, at least that would help.
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: Do you think?
- 1:33:20Speaker 1: I think, maybe, but it's not... Or an island. What
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: about that? What if you did a merger? You did Palestine.
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: Palestine, that's a good one.
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Do you think that's possible? Would Palestine accept something like
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: that where it's like, let's give this place.
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: I'm not Palestinian, so I cannot speak on their behalf,
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: but I think Palestinians want to stay in their land.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: And I think many of those... This is what drives
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: me crazy because it doesn't make any sense. Any Jewish
- 1:33:49Speaker 3: person all around the world, if you're like a Polish Jewish,
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: like an American Jewish, just because you're Jewish, you can
- 1:33:57Speaker 3: get the Israeli passport right now. Right now. And once
- 1:34:00Speaker 3: you get the passport, you can come from Brooklyn, land
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: into Israel, take a piece of land that was owned
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: by a Palestinian right on the spot. or a home
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: that is owned by a Palestinian saying that this is
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: your promised land.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: Like what do you mean you can walk into the house?
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: Yeah, you can just walk in the house and you
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: can have videos of people taking their stuff and barging
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: into a Palestinian home in the West Bank. It happens
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: all the time. It doesn't make any sense. A Brooklyn Jew,
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: just because he was born Jew, can just like go
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: to Israel, take the passport and take a piece of
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: land that is belonged to someone else even now as
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: we speak. Does that make any sense?
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: But most people wouldn't do that.
- 1:34:36Speaker 3: Many people do that. Many people do that. On every
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: single given day, you have planes with thousands of Jewish
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: people from all over the world coming from Eastern Europe,
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: coming from Africa, coming from Latin America, coming from America
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: and settling in the land, settling in Arab land.
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: Do the Palestinian people, do they have a police department?
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: They have like, They have something called the Palestinian Authority,
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: which is an oxymoron. And they are called the Palestinian Authority,
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: but show me an authority that has absolutely no say
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: about the foreign people coming in and taking land from
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: your people.
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: Yeah. My friend got a job at the airport, and
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: he was a little guy, right? And they gave him
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: a billy club, and it weighed him down that he
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: was so little. He's like, He probably weighed 60 pounds
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: or whatever. I think he's more effective, more than the
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: Palestinian Authority. He has more power than them. The club,
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: when you'd see him run, he almost had to run
- 1:35:31Speaker 1: sideways because of the way the club would shuffle and
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: block his legs.
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: I wish it was that funny.
- 1:35:36Speaker 1: What's the solution? You have to have some... The solution
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: is to end the occupation.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: And the solution is that Israel should stop killing Palestinians
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: and taking their land. It's as simple as that. Details,
- 1:35:47Speaker 3: what land, how much, well, that's not my thing to
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: say because I'm a comedian, not a politician, I'm not
- 1:35:52Speaker 3: a Palestinian. There are Palestinian politicians that can talk on
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: their behalf, but I can tell you whatever is happening
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: now is wrong. And I'm not, it's not my problem
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: or my issue to come up with a solution because
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: I didn't cause that crisis. It's someone else caused it
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: and it's not for me to fix it for them.
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: But what I can say, what's happening is wrong.
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: Are any American or British leaders And some of this stuff,
- 1:36:16Speaker 1: I don't know a ton. I'm trying my best to learn.
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: Is some American or British leaders trying to help negotiate that?
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: Have we tried over the years to help?
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's always been skewed towards Israel.
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: Is that true, though?
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: Because both sides have rejected peace agreements, right?
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: Yes, but one of them rejected it because basically you're
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: giving them a very shitty deal, and the other side
- 1:36:40Speaker 3: rejected it because they want more. And now they're telling you,
- 1:36:44Speaker 3: it's like, hey, you know what? Forget about the second state.
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: Forget about two-state solution. Even the Israelis say that it's
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: all ours now. Forget it.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: What about like Ladder and Bloom or something? Who is
- 1:36:53Speaker 1: doing the, or Remark or something? Who's negotiating it all?
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: There's no negotiation now. Like Israel hasn't gone to the
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: negotiation table for the past 20 years.
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: Like is Gaza on Zillow?
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: No.
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: I think if there's Zillow's- I'm just joking, dude.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: Is that offensive?
- 1:37:15Speaker 3: Oh my God, no, no, no, no. I learned to
- 1:37:18Speaker 3: laugh about everything. It's like, I think Zillow's like... Here's the.
- 1:37:25Speaker 1: Thing, if it's not on Zillow, I don't think you
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: can take it.
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: However, it's not in Zillow. It's not, oh, wow.
- 1:37:30Speaker 1: But I think one thing about a lot of my
- 1:37:32Speaker 1: Jewish friends I notice is they do a good job
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: of working together, you know?
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: Jewish people are great business people. And, uh, I, I
- 1:37:41Speaker 3: don't want to kind of be the guy who said, Hey,
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: I have black friends, but like, I honestly like my agents,
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: my managers, and, uh, they all come from companies that
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: are overwhelmingly Jewish people. And I have no problem dealing
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: with it. My, my, my, my utmost friend and the
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: guy that I look up to is Jon Stewart. And
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: he's the reason why I'm known to America. When I
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: came on his show, he came to my show. I
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: love him to death. He's my big brother. and is Jewish.
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: That's why I don't fall into this like Jewish, Jewish,
- 1:38:11Speaker 3: Jewish thing. Now, there are just like bad people that
- 1:38:14Speaker 3: happen to be Jewish, and there's bad people that happen
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: to be Muslims. There are bad people that happen to
- 1:38:18Speaker 3: be Christians, and there are bad people that happen to
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: be atheists. I don't look through the lens of religion,
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: but I can see people who would use religion in
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: order to advance their policy. The same way that ISIS
- 1:38:28Speaker 3: and Qaeda used Islam in order to promote themselves as
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: the only speakers of Islam, we as Muslims rejected it.
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: And the way that Israel is speaking on behalf of
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: all Jewish people, Jewish people, a lot of Jewish people
- 1:38:38Speaker 3: are rejecting that because it's not anti-Semitism to attack Israel.
- 1:38:42Speaker 3: It's not anti-Semitism to criticize Zionism. It's just like freedom
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: of expression. And that is why I don't hold, but
- 1:38:48Speaker 3: they wanna reduce you. You're a Jew hater. Dude, relax,
- 1:38:51Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't like when people say that sort of thing.
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a way to shut down the conversation, to
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: scare you, to intimidate you, to make people have like
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: a negative reaction to you without even you speaking.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: Dude, if I hated Jewish people, I would know.
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: You would know, you would know.
- 1:39:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? Like, I would feel like
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: I'd be the first to know.
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: You go to New York and not eat bagels, you'll know.
- 1:39:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:39:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like I would have an inkling.
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: Your boy called Bagels in New York.
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, don't do that, dude. Have you had debates
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: with friends, like, on this topic a lot?
- 1:39:23Speaker 3: Yeah, many times, many times. And some of them listen,
- 1:39:25Speaker 3: some of them are set in their ways, like anything. Like,
- 1:39:29Speaker 3: that's true for... Americans, for Egyptians, I have debates about
- 1:39:33Speaker 3: the Egyptian revolution with Egyptian friends who would never listen
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: to my point of view. So yes, it's a very
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: emotionally charged topic. So you will have people coming in
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: very emotional and they will not want to hear.
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: Yeah. Have you heard a good solution idea from a friend?
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: No, a solution is end the occupation and treat everybody
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: living in that land equally. Don't treat them as subhumans.
- 1:40:00Speaker 1: But at this point, say they ended the occupation, right? Yeah.
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: The kids are never going to forget. It's never going to.
- 1:40:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you have created a catastrophe. You have created something
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: that will last for decades. Many of those people do
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: not like America right now. They don't like Jewish people
- 1:40:17Speaker 3: like now. They don't like... Oh, you just realized.
- 1:40:22Speaker 1: Well, yeah, because it's American young men and women. They're
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: probably at some point going to have to go and
- 1:40:27Speaker 1: put their blood in a field somewhere. Yes.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: And as an American, I don't want America being involved
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: in wars in the Middle East. I don't want America
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: to be funding wars in the Middle East. I don't
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: want our taxpayers' money going to fund killing babies.
- 1:40:41Speaker 1: This, I, I, I- Some babies are assholes, I'll say that.
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: Some of them, some of them, I give you that.
- 1:40:46Speaker 1: Not a lot of me, every now and then you're like, whoa, dude.
- 1:40:49Speaker 1: But like, you don't want your money- But I'm joking too, babies.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but you don't want your money to be part
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: of that destruction.
- 1:40:56Speaker 1: Well, our country's fucking falling apart. Everybody is addicted or
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: dealing with addiction, or families are dealing with loss from addiction.
- 1:41:05Speaker 1: You killed people's spirits with the fucking bullshit plan for
- 1:41:10Speaker 1: the vaccine. You know, like.
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: Don't make it worse and go and pay more money
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: for destruction. If it's already been fucked, like, deal with
- 1:41:16Speaker 3: this fuckery. Don't make it worse.
- 1:41:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: And don't go and fuck yourself even more.
- 1:41:21Speaker 1: I wish you guys could settle it on the field.
- 1:41:23Speaker 1: Is there any sports that Israel and Palestine play against
- 1:41:25Speaker 1: each other?
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: Circumcision. Oh, really? That's the only thing in common.
- 1:41:40Speaker 1: And who's winning?
- 1:41:42Speaker 3: I don't know Like I think we get Because there
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: are more Muslims I think we're cutting More dicks than they.
- 1:41:47Speaker 1: Yeah There you go This year Look on the Nas
- 1:41:50Speaker 1: dick Yeah yeah yeah And let's see When you see
- 1:41:55Speaker 1: like The pain in the Like physical destruction And the
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: human destruction That's happening over there And just like The
- 1:42:02Speaker 1: videos of people Being like Mamed And brutalized Um on
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: both sides over there. As a surgeon, that must make
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: you feel some type of way too.
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: Yeah, and there's a lot of surgeons and doctors who've
- 1:42:13Speaker 3: been to Gaza and they come back with horrible stories.
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: Really?
- 1:42:15Speaker 3: Yeah, they're all over there. They tell you, because every
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: single hospital in Gaza is bombed. 36 hospitals, all of
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: them destroyed. You have like maternity wards and incubators being killed.
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: They have basically a place that has no basic needs
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: and you're bombing the shit out of them every day.
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: And you say, oh, we couldn't get Hamas? It's like Israel,
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: I think the IDF would be the worst in playing Jenga.
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: You know, like, okay, this is a terrorist. Ah, the
- 1:42:44Speaker 3: whole region went down.
- 1:42:46Speaker 1: Well, you do think that if the army is that acute,
- 1:42:52Speaker 1: that they would be able to be more articulate.
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: You mean like killing people less discriminately?
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: Just like getting exactly whoever Hamas is.
- 1:43:02Speaker 3: Yeah, they can. They can, but they don't care. Because
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: we have seen them on video killing babies. We cannot
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: just tell me it's by mistake when you have babies
- 1:43:12Speaker 3: with sniper bullets in their head.
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: Twice.
- 1:43:15Speaker 3: You can't say that's my mistake. You can't say, oh,
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: we're trying our best, and then you blow up an
- 1:43:20Speaker 3: empty hospital or an empty hospital school just for spite.
- 1:43:25Speaker 3: You can't say, oh, we're not doing that by mistake
- 1:43:28Speaker 3: and you keep, and you cannot have a war when
- 1:43:32Speaker 3: 80% of the people are displaced, 100% of the people are,
- 1:43:38Speaker 3: 100% of the place is destroyed, and 50% of the
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: infrastructure is like completely wiped out. It's 80%, it's just,
- 1:43:45Speaker 3: you can't, you can't, this is not war, this is annihilation.
- 1:43:48Speaker 3: And yeah.
- 1:43:49Speaker 1: Do you think it's gonna stop or no?
- 1:43:50Speaker 3: It's been going on for eight months, and I don't
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: know how much they're going to continue.
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: I think there was just, what's the latest?
- 1:43:57Speaker 3: They just bombed, there's a video of a refugee hospital.
- 1:44:03Speaker 1: All Palestinians to leave Gaza's largest city, the latest. Israel
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: orders all Palestinians to.
- 1:44:07Speaker 3: Leave Gaza's largest city.
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: Where do they go if they're ordered to leave?
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: They just, in the rural areas around, they want to
- 1:44:13Speaker 3: push them into Sinai, but Sinai, they can't be, they're closed.
- 1:44:16Speaker 3: And they can't- Sinai's closed? They're borders with Sinai. Also,
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: you can see there's a video of a refugee hospital.
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: a refugee school in Gaza that the moment that they
- 1:44:27Speaker 3: were playing football and Israel just dropped the bomb as
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: they were playing football.
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: Let me read this. Israel launched the war in Gaza
- 1:44:33Speaker 1: after Hamas October 7th attack in which militants stormed into Israel,
- 1:44:37Speaker 1: killed some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and abducted about 250.
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: Since then, Israeli ground offensives and bombardments have killed more
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: than 38,000 people in Gaza. According to the territory's health ministry,
- 1:44:47Speaker 1: it does not distinguish between combatants and civilians in its count.
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: Wow. But yeah, that's the video. They were playing football.
- 1:44:57Speaker 3: This is like a refugee camp. And then the moment.
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: What is a refugee camp?
- 1:45:01Speaker 3: A refugee school. Inside, guys, they're all.
- 1:45:05Speaker 1: See?
- 1:45:10Speaker 3: That's every single day. Every single day. That's every single day.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: In schools and hospitals, every single day. That just happened
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: two days ago.
- 1:45:22Speaker 1: Yeah. Man, yeah, I don't know. I just remember when
- 1:45:29Speaker 1: I was a kid, my mom would say sometimes, like,
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: I don't know why we're sending Israel all this money,
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: you know? But she never liked Netanyahu.
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: Yeah, but whether Netanyahu or Mounir, we send money to
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: Israel even before Netanyahu. The question is, there's just like
- 1:45:45Speaker 3: a lot of questions and we need to be able
- 1:45:47Speaker 3: to ask these questions without having fear of being canceled
- 1:45:50Speaker 3: or destroyed or having our.
- 1:45:52Speaker 1: Career taken away from us. Well, we fucking threw that
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: out the window this episode.
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: I don't think you did anything wrong, Theo. Theo, you
- 1:45:57Speaker 3: did well, man.
- 1:45:58Speaker 1: Even listening though, sometimes.
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: Even listening now, you're afraid of listening? What happened to
- 1:46:03Speaker 3: our American freedoms? It disintegrated to being afraid of listening?
- 1:46:06Speaker 1: Oh, as a human being, I'm okay. I think just
- 1:46:09Speaker 1: my life, I get worried about being able to still
- 1:46:11Speaker 1: do my job.
- 1:46:12Speaker 3: You did nothing wrong, Theo. You got a guy who
- 1:46:15Speaker 3: spoke his mind, which is what Americans are.
- 1:46:18Speaker 1: I agree.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: You just gave me a platform to speak my mind,
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: and you're bringing someone else who will say the opposite
- 1:46:24Speaker 3: of what I'm going to say. It's going to be
- 1:46:25Speaker 3: up to people to decide.
- 1:46:27Speaker 1: How do you like support your Jewish friends like just
- 1:46:29Speaker 1: in the US and stuff or whatever who disagree with
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: the kind of some of the situation there? Is that
- 1:46:33Speaker 1: kind of tough sometimes?
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: It is tough for them. I mean, I have a
- 1:46:36Speaker 3: lot of Jewish friends who are in disagreement with their
- 1:46:39Speaker 3: parents who are pretty much Zionist and they don't agree
- 1:46:42Speaker 3: with that.
- 1:46:43Speaker 1: And a Zionist, what is it again?
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: Just give me one more. Okay, according to Jewish people
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: or Zionist people, it is just simply having a national
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: state of Israel in the Middle East. That's basically. But
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: for us, it's more than that. For us, it's more
- 1:46:58Speaker 3: than this. It's not just the establishment. This is what
- 1:47:00Speaker 3: they tell you, just the establishment. But for us, they
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: have done that by displacing people, colonizing their land, and
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: taking away their homes, taking away their land. For us,
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: Zionism is not good. Okay.
- 1:47:12Speaker 1: For who?
- 1:47:12Speaker 3: For Arabs and Muslims, because they took a land from
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: Palestinians under the pretense of this thing, and then they
- 1:47:19Speaker 3: tell you, it's decolonization.
- 1:47:21Speaker 1: If Israel moved out of the territory there, do you
- 1:47:24Speaker 1: think that... Another group would move right into it?
- 1:47:28Speaker 3: No, I don't. There's like, there's seven or eight million
- 1:47:32Speaker 3: Jews in Israel. That's a lot of people to move out.
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: Right, but I'm just saying, say if that was vacated,
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: would Syrians or Egyptians or somebody else cruise right in there?
- 1:47:41Speaker 3: No, because there are already Palestinians there.
- 1:47:43Speaker 1: How many Palestinians live in Israel?
- 1:47:45Speaker 3: Okay. There are 3.5 million who live in the West Bank. 2.3
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: million live in Gaza. So a total of eight. Inside Israel,
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: in the territory, there are two million Palestinians live in Israel,
- 1:48:01Speaker 3: and there are seven million Palestinians who live outside, refugees.
- 1:48:06Speaker 1: And where is one of the largest spaces of Palestinians
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: outside of? Jordan.
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: Jordan.
- 1:48:11Speaker 1: Jordan. What about in America?
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: No, maybe there are like half a million.
- 1:48:15Speaker 1: Maybe Michigan?
- 1:48:16Speaker 3: No, no, no. Michigan, there's a lot of Muslims, but
- 1:48:19Speaker 3: many of them are Lebanese, many of them are Iraqis.
- 1:48:21Speaker 3: Some of them are Palestinians. I think there are about
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: like 400,000 in America. A total of 7 million outside
- 1:48:32Speaker 3: of Palestine. 7 million. Some of them are refugees. Some
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: of them are citizens of other countries now.
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: How much longer do you think?
- 1:48:39Speaker 3: I see 175. Oh, 175,000 Palestinian Americans. In America, yeah.
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:48:43Speaker 3: That's like 0.05. They're very small.
- 1:48:46Speaker 1: Some of them are on Wilshire every other Saturday.
- 1:48:49Speaker 3: Hey, yeah. Yeah, three of them. Some of them have
- 1:48:52Speaker 3: the best restaurants here.
- 1:48:56Speaker 1: Well, yeah. I'm super glad we got to talk about it.
- 1:49:01Speaker 1: Sorry for some stuff I was kind of like trying
- 1:49:03Speaker 1: to like, you know, I just, I think some stuff,
- 1:49:06Speaker 1: I don't know what, if it's like, I don't know
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: what to say, I guess. And sometimes I just listen
- 1:49:10Speaker 1: because I don't know how to like, some conversations I just,
- 1:49:13Speaker 1: you just don't know what to say or do.
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and I understand because for Americans, Americans have so
- 1:49:18Speaker 3: much to worry about. They have to worry about their
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: own daily life and their own like paying their bills.
- 1:49:23Speaker 3: And then it's like, why do we have to care
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: about this remote place in the Middle East that we
- 1:49:26Speaker 3: will never see? And now why is it?
- 1:49:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a great question.
- 1:49:29Speaker 3: This is like an every day. This is an everyday,
- 1:49:31Speaker 3: this is an everyday. Why do we have, and I
- 1:49:33Speaker 3: feel for them. But the reason why Americans should care
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: about that, because that is affecting our government, our democracy,
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: our way of life. Because if you're an American, you
- 1:49:45Speaker 3: think this is remotely, they're remote from you. No, it doesn't,
- 1:49:48Speaker 3: because it affects the way that you speak about politics.
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: You hear many times, you say, I don't know if
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: I'm going to go to jail. Well, if you talk
- 1:49:56Speaker 3: about something that's happening that foreign, you shouldn't be worried
- 1:49:59Speaker 3: about going to jail. should be worried about talking about
- 1:50:02Speaker 3: the government giving that much money for destruction. So it
- 1:50:06Speaker 3: affects you. Whether you like it or not, it affects you.
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I think one of the bigger problems that we
- 1:50:12Speaker 1: have is that we facilitate so much war and weaponry
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: in the world to try and leverage things. But then
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: maybe that needs to happen for us to have the
- 1:50:23Speaker 1: safety we have. And maybe we're, you know, It's hard
- 1:50:28Speaker 1: to know all that stuff, how one thing affects the other.
- 1:50:31Speaker 3: But you see, I find that this is actually the
- 1:50:33Speaker 3: end result of every conversation. Oh, we don't know. Maybe
- 1:50:36Speaker 3: this is what will happen. Yes, in order. But that's
- 1:50:38Speaker 3: like a way to stay complacent. Yeah, that's a good point.
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: Because what is happening is not right. All of this money,
- 1:50:44Speaker 3: all of these billions of dollars coming out from our pockets,
- 1:50:47Speaker 3: that is not right. And I'm talking about money. Politics
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: and freedom. These are the three things that are the
- 1:50:53Speaker 3: cornerstones of American life. Our politics, our freedom, and our money.
- 1:50:56Speaker 3: If we don't know where our money is going and why,
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: and why is our politics is being taken over by
- 1:51:02Speaker 3: a foreign lobby, that is wrong. And you need to
- 1:51:07Speaker 3: start from there.
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it just breaks my heart. I mean, you see
- 1:51:11Speaker 1: what happened over there, and it's heartbreaking, and it's like, well,
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: how do you? Yeah, I just wanted to learn a
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: little bit more about it and I wanted to get
- 1:51:17Speaker 1: some perspective from somebody that was at least able to
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: speak about it and who was willing to speak up
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: about it, you know, and you've spoken vibrantly about it.
- 1:51:25Speaker 3: And I understand how difficult it is because maybe some
- 1:51:28Speaker 3: of your listeners, your audience, don't really care about that stuff.
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: And maybe for them this is too heavy. But for
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: the people who are interested, what you did is to
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: bring a problem that affects us whether we like it
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: or not. And I'm happy that you're bringing a rabbi
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: to speak about it. on a totally opposite level. And
- 1:51:47Speaker 3: I'm happy that when people have more questions, you bring
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: more people to speak to you. I'm happy to come
- 1:51:51Speaker 3: back again and talk to the people. And because at
- 1:51:53Speaker 3: the end of the day, you listen not just for entertainment,
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: but for education. And there's so many things in that
- 1:51:58Speaker 3: world that I don't know. So I listen to shows
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: that will tell me. So I just want, I'm not
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: here to attack anybody. I'm not here to say bad
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: things about anybody. I'm here to just invite people to
- 1:52:10Speaker 3: be more curious and to understand how things work and
- 1:52:14Speaker 3: to form their own opinion, and not just give up to, oh,
- 1:52:18Speaker 3: this is the way it is, we can't change anything.
- 1:52:20Speaker 3: Because if you said that, nothing would change. And then
- 1:52:22Speaker 3: you will come up tomorrow and you will complain about
- 1:52:25Speaker 3: why things are not changing. It just needs to start
- 1:52:30Speaker 3: from asking questions. Asking questions, open your mind, and I
- 1:52:34Speaker 3: will be more than happy to come back again and
- 1:52:36Speaker 3: talk about, I'm sure that you can have so many questions,
- 1:52:39Speaker 3: so many rebuttals, like ask him this, ask him that,
- 1:52:41Speaker 3: and I'm happy to come and ask. if you would
- 1:52:44Speaker 3: get me on the show again. And I'm happy to speak.
- 1:52:46Speaker 3: You see how we talked, it was nothing. There's nothing
- 1:52:49Speaker 3: threatening of what we did today. There's nothing antisemitic. There's
- 1:52:52Speaker 3: nothing Islamophobic. We didn't go and attack people from different faiths.
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: We just talk about politics and I might be wrong,
- 1:53:02Speaker 3: but prove me wrong.
- 1:53:03Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: Bassem, thank you so much, man.
- 1:53:05Speaker 3: Thank you so much. I really appreciate you.
- 1:53:06Speaker 1: Yeah, inshallah. What do people say?
- 1:53:08Speaker 3: Inshallah is like if God wills.
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: If God wills.
- 1:53:11Speaker 3: If God wills.
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: Inshallah.
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: Inshallah.
- 1:53:13Speaker 1: Inshallah or shallah?
- 1:53:14Speaker 3: Inshallah.
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: Inshallah.
- 1:53:16Speaker 3: I was just like, inshallah.
- 1:53:18Speaker 1: Inshallah.
- 1:53:18Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: That's it.
- 1:53:21Speaker 1: Amazing. Inshallah. Yes. You can, people can find you.

- 1:53:58Speaker 1: it's okay to say that. We have to laugh in
- 1:54:00Speaker 1: times of pain. That's why God put it into us.
- 1:54:03Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:54:03Speaker 1: And yeah, just thank you so much for your time, brother.
- 1:54:06Speaker 3: Thank you for having me. Thank you for the space.
