- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkrel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:22Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Hawkgral energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:28Speaker 1: Welcome back to another episode. I apologize if this is
- 0:32Speaker 1: uploaded again late. It has been insane since I've been home.
- 0:36Speaker 1: I've been having to catch up with so much work. Obviously,
- 0:40Speaker 1: with the wedding and the honeymoon. I decided not to
- 0:43Speaker 1: take any brand deals or anything. I wanted to fully
- 0:46Speaker 1: just be present, which I think was obviously the right
- 0:49Speaker 1: thing to do. I took a really good social media
- 0:50Speaker 1: break as well, and you know, just didn't film too
- 0:54Speaker 1: much obviously, like I hired a content creator for the
- 0:57Speaker 1: wedding day and all that, but I truly was just
- 0:59Speaker 1: trying to be in the moment of the entire trip
- 1:02Speaker 1: and I felt like it was a good break for me.
- 1:05Speaker 1: But coming home, I feel like my manager was just
- 1:09Speaker 1: texting me all these brand deals that I have to
- 1:12Speaker 1: get done. So anyways, that's obviously my priority is submitting
- 1:17Speaker 1: things that I have to get done. The podcast is
- 1:20Speaker 1: obviously my priority as well, but I have to obviously
- 1:23Speaker 1: make my brand deals a priority. So if this episode
- 1:25Speaker 1: is uploaded late, I apologize. I'm trying my best here.
- 1:28Speaker 1: It's a lot to manage, truly. I probably do need
- 1:32Speaker 1: to hire someone part time, but yeah, I'm gonna figure
- 1:37Speaker 1: that out hopefully in the new year. Right now, it's
- 1:38Speaker 1: just going to be me, because you know, that's just
- 1:42Speaker 1: how I've been rolling, just me, myself and I and
- 1:45Speaker 1: my manager and my co managers. So anyways, I apologize
- 1:49Speaker 1: if it's been super addy on social media as well.
- 1:52Speaker 1: I just have to get this stuff done since I've
- 1:54Speaker 1: been off and with my job, that's how I make money.
- 1:57Speaker 1: So yeah, but anyways, welcome to another Fall episode. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: am so excited because I love how much you guys
- 2:05Speaker 1: are loving the Fall episodes. I saw some many of
- 2:07Speaker 1: you guys share listening to the previous episode, which was
- 2:11Speaker 1: the Fall Reset. If you haven't listened to that, highly
- 2:14Speaker 1: recommend listening to it if you want to get in
- 2:16Speaker 1: the Fall mood. It will definitely get you in the mood,
- 2:19Speaker 1: let me tell you. So. Yeah, today is more of
- 2:22Speaker 1: things that I think every Hawk Girl should make. A
- 2:25Speaker 1: non negotiable for the fall season. These are things that
- 2:28Speaker 1: I'm doing. These are things that I'm making a priority.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And I like to think every new season that we're
- 2:34Speaker 1: entering is a new way to again reset but also
- 2:39Speaker 1: set new goals for ourselves. And this could be health goals,
- 2:42Speaker 1: but it could also be just things that you want
- 2:45Speaker 1: to do to really just make your life more enjoyable.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I feel like I'm all about putting in the effort
- 2:51Speaker 1: to you know, just enjoy the little things or actually
- 2:54Speaker 1: make the effort to do things that you see other
- 2:56Speaker 1: people do but you don't actually put the effort in
- 2:58Speaker 1: doing it yourself. It's all about setting your mindset to
- 3:04Speaker 1: things that you actually want to achieve yourself. So it's
- 3:06Speaker 1: same thing as vision boards that we do in the
- 3:07Speaker 1: new year. We always want to create these goals for ourselves.
- 3:11Speaker 1: You know, there's usually big goals, there usually small goals,
- 3:13Speaker 1: and they're all different types of goals when it comes
- 3:15Speaker 1: to traveling, health and wellness, you know, social aspect, just
- 3:20Speaker 1: fun things that you want to achieve yourself all that.
- 3:22Speaker 1: So in this episode, I really wanted to talk about
- 3:25Speaker 1: essentially a fall bucket list, but also things that you
- 3:28Speaker 1: want to achieve for the fall season. So I truly
- 3:32Speaker 1: love Pinterest, and you guys know how much I talk
- 3:34Speaker 1: about Pinterests and how I think it's literally the best
- 3:36Speaker 1: app in the world. If I were to describe to
- 3:37Speaker 1: someone how I would want to live my best life,
- 3:40Speaker 1: it would fully be based off of Pinterest. I'm not
- 3:43Speaker 1: even overexaggerating, Like, I feel like Pinterest is truly my
- 3:46Speaker 1: dream life, and I think a lot of people actually
- 3:48Speaker 1: use Pinterest for that case. Right You find you know,
- 3:51Speaker 1: dream homes that you're like, oh, I would love to
- 3:53Speaker 1: have a home like that, or oh, you know, you
- 3:55Speaker 1: see a family and you're like, oh my god, I
- 3:57Speaker 1: would love to have that some time in my life. Right,
- 3:59Speaker 1: Like is truly an area where you go to manifest
- 4:03Speaker 1: and find your dreams and find your goals. And I'm
- 4:07Speaker 1: all about that. You guys know that. That's like my
- 4:09Speaker 1: biggest thing is always making sure we're here to achieve
- 4:12Speaker 1: our goals and to never think that any goal is
- 4:15Speaker 1: too big. I think we can all achieve things if
- 4:18Speaker 1: we set our mind to it. And guys, I don't
- 4:21Speaker 1: want to be that influencer. And this was actually not
- 4:24Speaker 1: in my twenty twenty four vision board, not my twenty
- 4:27Speaker 1: twenty four vision at all, I can't tell you, and
- 4:30Speaker 1: I hate being that influencer that, oh, I can't tell
- 4:33Speaker 1: you I have a surprise coming. It's not even like
- 4:35Speaker 1: a surprise, it's just more so it's a big career
- 4:39Speaker 1: shock to me in terms of like I can't believe
- 4:42Speaker 1: that this brand wants to send me or bring me
- 4:46Speaker 1: to this huge event. Like I'm not gonna say anymore
- 4:50Speaker 1: because I don't want to give it away, but I
- 4:51Speaker 1: am truly in shock that I was selected out of
- 4:57Speaker 1: a group of influencers to go to this massive event.
- 5:01Speaker 1: I'm just I'm speechless right now. I literally don't want
- 5:03Speaker 1: to give it away because I want it to be
- 5:04Speaker 1: surprised for you guys, because it is truly the most
- 5:08Speaker 1: coolest thing I've ever been offered, and I'm so excited
- 5:11Speaker 1: to take you guys along for the experience. But I
- 5:13Speaker 1: basically leave in a month. Again not obviously by choice,
- 5:19Speaker 1: like it was fully something that was just brought to
- 5:21Speaker 1: my attention last week, And yeah, I was just shocked
- 5:24Speaker 1: that I was even offered this. But again, this was
- 5:27Speaker 1: something that never in my life I would ever be
- 5:31Speaker 1: given the opportunity of doing. And this is why I
- 5:34Speaker 1: talk about do not think that you cannot achieve these
- 5:38Speaker 1: big goals for yourself because you never know what could happen.
- 5:41Speaker 1: So that's all I want to say right there. But
- 5:44Speaker 1: let's talk about some things that are going to be
- 5:46Speaker 1: my non negotiables for fall and how you're going to
- 5:49Speaker 1: have the best fall season and how you're going to
- 5:52Speaker 1: achieve these things for yourself with the fall season. So firstly,
- 5:55Speaker 1: let's just quickly talk about Pinterest for a second. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: kind of already described what to do, but I think personally,
- 6:01Speaker 1: the first thing you should do going into a new
- 6:03Speaker 1: season or a new year is open up or create
- 6:07Speaker 1: a Pinterest account. If you don't have one, I highly
- 6:09Speaker 1: recommend creating one. Go on the app and just search
- 6:12Speaker 1: keywords of goals or things that you want to do.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So for me right now, going into the fall season,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm thinking, Okay, what are some things that I want
- 6:20Speaker 1: to do this fall? So I'm searching you know, fall
- 6:23Speaker 1: date ideas or fall aesthetic or things to do in
- 6:26Speaker 1: the fall season, fall fashion, Like, just think of keywords
- 6:31Speaker 1: of things that you want to do this season. So
- 6:34Speaker 1: are you looking at upgrading your fashion sense? Like do
- 6:37Speaker 1: you want to invest in good quality pieces for the
- 6:40Speaker 1: fall season. Do you want to think of really fun
- 6:42Speaker 1: date ideas or activities that you want to do this
- 6:44Speaker 1: fall with your partner or with your friends, Like you
- 6:47Speaker 1: just search anything in Pinterest and it will literally give
- 6:50Speaker 1: you images of ideas. So for me, I created a
- 6:53Speaker 1: whole fall mood board and it's all these things that
- 6:57Speaker 1: I want to do. So for an example, I want
- 6:59Speaker 1: on Pinterest and it helped me create this episode of
- 7:02Speaker 1: things that I want to do for myself for the
- 7:04Speaker 1: fall season, but also just things that I want to
- 7:08Speaker 1: share with you guys in terms of how you can
- 7:10Speaker 1: spend your fall season and make it the most memorable
- 7:13Speaker 1: one yet. So I think that's the first step is
- 7:16Speaker 1: go on Pinterest, search some fall aesthetics, fall vibes, things
- 7:20Speaker 1: that you want to do this season, and create a
- 7:22Speaker 1: little mood board of how you want your fall season
- 7:24Speaker 1: to look like. And for these next few things that
- 7:26Speaker 1: I'm going to be sharing is a lot of things
- 7:28Speaker 1: that I've saved on my Pinterest mood board of things
- 7:30Speaker 1: that I want to do for this season. So first
- 7:34Speaker 1: one is I really want to try and visit more
- 7:36Speaker 1: coffee shops and more bakeries, trying out different ones. I
- 7:40Speaker 1: personally think going to a coffee shop in the fall
- 7:43Speaker 1: season just hits different. There's better coffees. I don't know
- 7:45Speaker 1: if that makes sense, but there's just new coffees that
- 7:49Speaker 1: they release. I feel like every season and the fall
- 7:52Speaker 1: ones always just hit different. In my opinion, I think
- 7:54Speaker 1: it's truly just the best fall menu is the coffees
- 7:58Speaker 1: as well as the pastries. When I think of pastries,
- 8:01Speaker 1: I think of like pumpkin scones. I think of anything rhubarb,
- 8:06Speaker 1: you know, anything with cranberry in it. Just to me,
- 8:08Speaker 1: those are my favorite. So I think this is your
- 8:12Speaker 1: sign to definitely make going to different coffee shops and
- 8:15Speaker 1: bakeries a priority, because I feel like it just hits
- 8:18Speaker 1: different in the fall, like going on a nice walk
- 8:21Speaker 1: with either your husband, your fiance, your partner, or with
- 8:25Speaker 1: your best friend. Going to visit a different coffee shop,
- 8:28Speaker 1: trying new things with your friend. Whether it's you get
- 8:30Speaker 1: two different coffees and two different pastries and you share.
- 8:33Speaker 1: It's such a small little detail, but I do feel
- 8:36Speaker 1: like during the fall season, I love visiting different spots
- 8:39Speaker 1: and trying different spots out. And you know, every pumpkin
- 8:42Speaker 1: spice Lotte. I feel like is different at different coffee shops.
- 8:45Speaker 1: They all taste different. In my opinion, they don't taste
- 8:48Speaker 1: the same. So yeah, that's just something that I think
- 8:51Speaker 1: is a fun idea to do with a friend. And
- 8:53Speaker 1: then when I think of bakeries, I think of going
- 8:55Speaker 1: to pick up like fresh sour dough bread or fresh bagels. Again,
- 8:59Speaker 1: what is seasonal right now? Do they have anything, you know,
- 9:02Speaker 1: fresh for the fall season, anything pumpkin related? You guys
- 9:06Speaker 1: know I'm obsessed with pumpkin, But anyways, there's other things
- 9:10Speaker 1: like fresh doughnuts or anything that for the fall season.
- 9:13Speaker 1: So yeah, definitely recommend doing that as a little hobby
- 9:16Speaker 1: is trying out different bakeries and coffee shops. Another thing
- 9:20Speaker 1: I love to do during the fall season is visit
- 9:22Speaker 1: farmers' markets. I also love to do that during the
- 9:24Speaker 1: summer season, but obviously in the winter, we don't have
- 9:28Speaker 1: any farmer's markets going around here. And I will say
- 9:32Speaker 1: that you find the best little goodies when you go
- 9:35Speaker 1: to a farmer's market. When it comes to finding local
- 9:37Speaker 1: brands who maybe sell different candles or different types of
- 9:40Speaker 1: like homemade goods like again, treats, pastries and anything like that.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I love, love, love buying fresh produce a lot of
- 9:47Speaker 1: the time. They also sell eggs there as well, so
- 9:50Speaker 1: everything's just from the farm, Like literal farmers come to
- 9:53Speaker 1: the farmer's market and they sell all of their produce
- 9:56Speaker 1: and meats and eggs and you name it. And I
- 10:01Speaker 1: just love buying from them, obviously over the grocery store
- 10:04Speaker 1: because you know, everything is fresh, So love doing that.
- 10:08Speaker 1: And usually there's a lot of music going on. There's
- 10:10Speaker 1: a lot of like fall inspired things going on as well,
- 10:14Speaker 1: floral bouquets that you can get for the house. I
- 10:17Speaker 1: don't know. It's just like a fun outdoor activity to
- 10:19Speaker 1: do on the weekend. Our farmer's Market usually happens other
- 10:23Speaker 1: Saturday or Sunday morning, and I just find it's a
- 10:25Speaker 1: fun little thing to do. Zach and I have done
- 10:27Speaker 1: it three times this summer, and I hope to go
- 10:30Speaker 1: maybe this weekend, to be honest, because I think it's
- 10:32Speaker 1: actually only open for two more weekends, so I need
- 10:35Speaker 1: to make it a priority to do. And yeah, it's
- 10:38Speaker 1: just a fun little thing to do. And obviously you're
- 10:40Speaker 1: shopping at the same time, and what girl doesn't love
- 10:42Speaker 1: to shop A cute little date night idea that I've
- 10:44Speaker 1: been meaning to do with Zach is go to a fair.
- 10:47Speaker 1: It is fair season here for us, and I always
- 10:50Speaker 1: try and do this once a year because I find
- 10:52Speaker 1: they're the best dates. Like, honestly, they're so fun, just
- 10:56Speaker 1: going with your partner and or again your friend or
- 10:59Speaker 1: anything like that. Again, there's live music happening, there's usually
- 11:02Speaker 1: games that you could play, there's rides you can go
- 11:05Speaker 1: with like a big group of friends if you want,
- 11:07Speaker 1: or a big group of couples. It's just like a
- 11:09Speaker 1: fun weekend night thing to do. And it's only fair
- 11:13Speaker 1: season during the fall, Like we never have fars during
- 11:16Speaker 1: the summer here, so I feel like, I don't know,
- 11:18Speaker 1: we grew up doing that, Like our high school would
- 11:21Speaker 1: always go to the same fair every single year and
- 11:24Speaker 1: it was always in September, and I feel like Zach
- 11:26Speaker 1: and I have kept that tradition, but instead of going with,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you know, our high school friends, we would just go
- 11:31Speaker 1: him and I or with another couple, and we still
- 11:33Speaker 1: make a fun date night out of it. So it's
- 11:35Speaker 1: kind of like a little tradition. But yeah, just going
- 11:37Speaker 1: to your local fair in the area. I don't know
- 11:39Speaker 1: if that's like common for you guys in the States
- 11:42Speaker 1: or Australia or wherever you guys are, or in Europe.
- 11:44Speaker 1: But yeah, we have fars here and it's a fun
- 11:47Speaker 1: little date night thing to do. Another thing that's going
- 11:50Speaker 1: to be a non negotiable for the fall season. Okay, ladies,
- 11:54Speaker 1: hear me out, dark nails. Dark nails is the vibe
- 12:00Speaker 1: for fall twenty twenty four. I fell into the trap
- 12:04Speaker 1: of doing dark nails last year and it was the
- 12:07Speaker 1: best decision I've ever made. I have been a neutral
- 12:09Speaker 1: nail girl for my entire life. I'm not even over exaggerating.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think the last time I did dark nails was
- 12:15Speaker 1: when I was in high school and it was like
- 12:16Speaker 1: black nails short all that, and I will say dark
- 12:21Speaker 1: short nails are in. I haven't really seen anyone do black.
- 12:23Speaker 1: But a lot of the colors that are really popular
- 12:26Speaker 1: right now are dark brown, dark burgundy, different shades of red,
- 12:31Speaker 1: different shades of brown, like anything within that color pilote,
- 12:34Speaker 1: like a deep purple would be really nice, kind of
- 12:37Speaker 1: like a burgundy in a way. But I have been
- 12:39Speaker 1: meaning to honestly go get my nails changed. I just
- 12:43Speaker 1: got them done, not last week, but so It's only
- 12:46Speaker 1: been a week and a half, sorry, not full two weeks,
- 12:48Speaker 1: so honestly, they don't really need to get done, but
- 12:50Speaker 1: I've just been wanting to get the dark nails so badly.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Like I'm literally seeing everyone post about it on their
- 12:56Speaker 1: Instagram stories, and I'm like, I got the itch. I
- 12:58Speaker 1: need to get my nails color asap. It just gives
- 13:01Speaker 1: fall and I find it looks so fricking good. I
- 13:05Speaker 1: don't know what it is. I'm just obsessed with it,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and I just want to keep the dark nails going
- 13:08Speaker 1: for a long period of time, like I hope it
- 13:10Speaker 1: honestly drags into winter with the dark nail trend. I
- 13:13Speaker 1: just think it looks so stunning. So anyways, I got
- 13:17Speaker 1: light pink right now. The only reason why I got
- 13:19Speaker 1: light pink is because I was attending a wedding and
- 13:22Speaker 1: I was wearing a red dress and I felt like
- 13:24Speaker 1: if I did like a different shade of red, or
- 13:26Speaker 1: if I did brown, it just was gonna look weird
- 13:28Speaker 1: for the wedding. I don't know, I just felt like
- 13:30Speaker 1: it wasn't wedding appropriate. I don't know if that makes sense,
- 13:32Speaker 1: but I feel like I'm very picky with my nails
- 13:34Speaker 1: for any kind of event. And yeah, so anyways, dark
- 13:38Speaker 1: nails are in highly recommend going to book a nail
- 13:41Speaker 1: appointment and get your nails done. It's also a nice
- 13:44Speaker 1: thing to do to treat yourself and even if you
- 13:46Speaker 1: just paint them at home. I also love seeing your
- 13:49Speaker 1: nails and your toenails match like the same polish. I've
- 13:52Speaker 1: never done dark nails on my toes. I don't think
- 13:54Speaker 1: I've ever done that. That will be fun to try,
- 13:56Speaker 1: so maybe I'll do that the next time I go in. Anyways,
- 13:59Speaker 1: I may get my nails changed this week or next week.
- 14:02Speaker 1: We'll see. But I am loving the dark nail trend
- 14:04Speaker 1: right now and I think it is a muss for
- 14:07Speaker 1: the fall season to definitely try out if you haven't.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Another muss for the fall season is finding a day
- 14:14Speaker 1: within September or October and going to a pumpkin patch
- 14:18Speaker 1: or going apple picking. These are two things that I always, always, always,
- 14:24Speaker 1: always make sure that I do because it's such a
- 14:25Speaker 1: fun activity to do. Usually I do it with my sister.
- 14:28Speaker 1: We've done it now three times in a row, just
- 14:31Speaker 1: her and I. I've done it with Zach in the
- 14:32Speaker 1: past as well, but I don't know. I just enjoy
- 14:35Speaker 1: doing it with my sister because we make a whole
- 14:36Speaker 1: day out of it, Like we go to Starbucks or
- 14:38Speaker 1: we go to a coffee shop, we get you know,
- 14:40Speaker 1: pumpkin spice lottes, we go for the drive, we go
- 14:43Speaker 1: to the pumpkin patch or the apple picking. We usually
- 14:45Speaker 1: get photos, so you can make a whole day out
- 14:47Speaker 1: of it, right, like get some Instagram photos. Who doesn't
- 14:50Speaker 1: love taking photos for the fall season, and then getting
- 14:54Speaker 1: some apples they also usually sell, like fresh apple pie
- 14:57Speaker 1: or those like dipped caramel app Oh my god, I
- 15:00Speaker 1: have not had that in so long. Those would be
- 15:03Speaker 1: so fun to do at the apple picking. And then
- 15:05Speaker 1: with the pumpkin patch. I love going to pick out
- 15:07Speaker 1: our own pumpkins for our front step that we can
- 15:10Speaker 1: put on our front porch. And there's like all different
- 15:13Speaker 1: colors of pumpkins, like green ones, white ones, different shades
- 15:16Speaker 1: of orange all that. I don't know. I just think
- 15:18Speaker 1: it's so fun to do those things. And you don't
- 15:21Speaker 1: have anything like that in the summer or the winter
- 15:24Speaker 1: at least I don't have anything here for that. So
- 15:27Speaker 1: for me, I just really prioritize doing those fun little
- 15:30Speaker 1: things in the fall because I don't know, they seem
- 15:32Speaker 1: very meaningful to me, and I think it's just a
- 15:35Speaker 1: fun thing to do and it gets you out of
- 15:36Speaker 1: the house, it gets you off your phone. It's a
- 15:38Speaker 1: nice thing to do with a friend, and yeah, just
- 15:41Speaker 1: something I really enjoy doing. Another non negotiable for the
- 15:44Speaker 1: fall season is planning our fall outfits before purchasing. And
- 15:48Speaker 1: what I mean by that is we do not want
- 15:50Speaker 1: to waste our money. I kind of briefly chatted about
- 15:53Speaker 1: it in the previous episode about resetting my closet, you know,
- 15:57Speaker 1: going through my wardrobe, making sure I wasn't buying duplicates
- 15:59Speaker 1: of things all that. But one thing I love to
- 16:02Speaker 1: do is there's an app called Canba and I'm pretty
- 16:05Speaker 1: sure I've talked about it in the past, but it's free.
- 16:08Speaker 1: It's basically a free photoshop app. And what I love
- 16:10Speaker 1: to use it for is if I'm decorating spaces in
- 16:12Speaker 1: the house or if I'm wanting to order clothes, I
- 16:16Speaker 1: usually go on this app and I copy and paste
- 16:18Speaker 1: the images that are from the website and I put
- 16:20Speaker 1: it on this Canva doc and it's just like a
- 16:22Speaker 1: white background, nothing crazy. But I will literally like photoshop
- 16:26Speaker 1: a couch and a coffee table and I will pull
- 16:29Speaker 1: you know, pillows and throws and coffee table books and
- 16:32Speaker 1: all that, and I will literally put it all in
- 16:34Speaker 1: one document to see, Okay, do these pillows match the
- 16:38Speaker 1: aesthetic of my home? Okay, No, they're too dark. I
- 16:41Speaker 1: need to do something later. Like it helps me determine
- 16:45Speaker 1: what is worth purchasing or not. And I feel like
- 16:48Speaker 1: not like I save money out of it. But what
- 16:49Speaker 1: I love about it is that it allows me to know, Okay,
- 16:52Speaker 1: is this gonna flow within my tip of fashion sense
- 16:55Speaker 1: or is this gonna flow in my home specifically? Like
- 16:58Speaker 1: it allows you to avoid any returns in the future,
- 17:02Speaker 1: if that makes sense. Like you know, when you buy
- 17:03Speaker 1: something doesn't go with either your body style or it
- 17:07Speaker 1: doesn't fit with your home aesthetic or anything like that,
- 17:09Speaker 1: and then you have to the hassle of returning it,
- 17:10Speaker 1: blah blah blah, Like it's annoying. I will say, I
- 17:13Speaker 1: hate returning, That's one thing I absolutely hate. So to
- 17:15Speaker 1: avoid that hassle, I'm always using CANBA to help plan
- 17:19Speaker 1: out my outfits, plan out my home decor all that.
- 17:23Speaker 1: So for the fall season, I've been loving to grab,
- 17:26Speaker 1: you know, photos from different websites that I'm looking at
- 17:29Speaker 1: and create some fall outfits and it allows me to see, Okay,
- 17:32Speaker 1: can I wear this top multiple times? Can I wear
- 17:34Speaker 1: these pants multiple times? Is this a one time thing
- 17:37Speaker 1: where it's like I'm gonna wear these pants once and
- 17:39Speaker 1: that's it. So it does actually help with making the
- 17:42Speaker 1: right purchase as well. I don't know if anyone else
- 17:44Speaker 1: does this or has never heard of it, but this
- 17:47Speaker 1: is just something that I've always done, and I find
- 17:50Speaker 1: it really helps me determine things that I'm going to
- 17:53Speaker 1: purchase and if it's worth it or not. To me,
- 17:56Speaker 1: it's a way of saving money because I'm not, you know,
- 17:59Speaker 1: wasting my money on something that I know I'm only
- 18:01Speaker 1: going to wear ones. So, for an example, if I
- 18:03Speaker 1: really like this top and it's a specific shade of white,
- 18:06Speaker 1: let's say, and it only goes with one pair of
- 18:09Speaker 1: pants that I have, it's not worth getting. But if
- 18:11Speaker 1: it goes with denim, if it goes with you my
- 18:14Speaker 1: white linen pants, if it goes with like my cargo pants,
- 18:17Speaker 1: there's three outfits right there that is worth purchasing the
- 18:20Speaker 1: top four. So that's just an idea. If you're looking at,
- 18:23Speaker 1: like revamping your wardrobe or trying to get some fall
- 18:25Speaker 1: pieces for the fall season. I think really plan outfits
- 18:30Speaker 1: out and just see if it's worth buying before purchasing it.
- 18:33Speaker 1: And as I said, you can use this for the
- 18:35Speaker 1: same reason for home decor if you have a space
- 18:37Speaker 1: in your home that you want to revamp. I love
- 18:40Speaker 1: using Canva. I think it helps so much just to
- 18:44Speaker 1: remodel or just help make any purchases. Another non negotiable
- 18:48Speaker 1: is just have a day with your friend to get
- 18:50Speaker 1: fall inspired photos taken. As I said, I don't know
- 18:54Speaker 1: if everyone loves getting Instagram photos taken. Obviously it's my job,
- 18:57Speaker 1: but I truly just love doing that. That is something
- 19:00Speaker 1: I've always loved doing, and I love making a fun
- 19:02Speaker 1: little day out of it with my sister or with
- 19:05Speaker 1: a friend or with Zach, you know, going to get
- 19:07Speaker 1: copies together, go to a cute neighborhood, figure out photos
- 19:10Speaker 1: that you like on Pinterest, and maybe like recreate it.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Fun things like that. I don't know. That's something that
- 19:16Speaker 1: me and my sister love to do, and we literally
- 19:18Speaker 1: will do this all the time, and we think it's
- 19:20Speaker 1: such a fun way to get photos taken together and yeah,
- 19:24Speaker 1: just make a fun day out of it. This next
- 19:26Speaker 1: one is the top goal for my fall twenty twenty
- 19:30Speaker 1: four season, and that is having a little weekend getaway,
- 19:33Speaker 1: whether it's a cabin weekend or going to a cottage,
- 19:37Speaker 1: going camping, or just going to a hotel for just
- 19:40Speaker 1: a little escape. Anything like that I think is so fun.
- 19:45Speaker 1: So if you have a cottage, or if your friend
- 19:46Speaker 1: has a cottage, or if you love camping, or even
- 19:49Speaker 1: if it's just like a day trip somewhere. I just
- 19:52Speaker 1: love the idea of getting away, going in the trees,
- 19:56Speaker 1: being in the forest, Like, oh my gosh, like this
- 19:58Speaker 1: to me right now, Like all I can picture right
- 20:00Speaker 1: now is me in a cozy cabin looking at the
- 20:04Speaker 1: most stunning hill views of all the leaves, changing, cozied
- 20:08Speaker 1: up by a fire, having a glass of wine or
- 20:11Speaker 1: like hot cocoa or something with Zach like oh my gosh,
- 20:16Speaker 1: like oh, cooking in a cabin, just having like a
- 20:19Speaker 1: little date night in the cabin, like again, looking at
- 20:21Speaker 1: these beautiful views, maybe having a campfire outside, Like this
- 20:25Speaker 1: is the vibe, Like this is the vibe I want
- 20:27Speaker 1: for my fall season. I need to go on a
- 20:29Speaker 1: fall weekend getaway just so I can live that experience
- 20:32Speaker 1: that I just described, because that to me sounds amazing.
- 20:35Speaker 1: There's a lot of areas like Mont Tremblas, Vermont Muscoca.
- 20:40Speaker 1: They're not too far from where I live Prince Edward County.
- 20:42Speaker 1: They're about two hours away, and I just love the
- 20:46Speaker 1: idea of having a little weekend trip and yeah, going
- 20:49Speaker 1: to a cottage having a campfire like that is to
- 20:52Speaker 1: me the best feeling ever. And even if you don't
- 20:55Speaker 1: have the opportunity to do a weekend getaway, as I mentioned,
- 20:58Speaker 1: having a campfire in the fall just hits different. Like
- 21:01Speaker 1: if you have the opportunity to have a little campfire
- 21:04Speaker 1: in your backyard or at a friend's house or anything
- 21:07Speaker 1: like that, campfires just hit different in the fall. Like
- 21:10Speaker 1: I love it for the summer, but during the fall
- 21:12Speaker 1: season it's so crisp out you want a blanket, You
- 21:15Speaker 1: just want a cozy by the fire because you're cold,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and the air is just different, Like I don't know,
- 21:20Speaker 1: it just it's a whole different vibe. And to me,
- 21:24Speaker 1: being by a campfire during the fall is the best
- 21:27Speaker 1: thing ever. Another idea if you can't do a weekend
- 21:30Speaker 1: getaway is just exploring a small town that's close by
- 21:33Speaker 1: that you can do in a day. Again, I am
- 21:35Speaker 1: very much that kind of person that likes to try
- 21:37Speaker 1: new things, explore different places, love visiting different boutiques. When
- 21:41Speaker 1: it comes to shopping all that, there's so many fun
- 21:44Speaker 1: little spots that you could check out around your area.
- 21:47Speaker 1: I'm sure you know going on social media would help,
- 21:49Speaker 1: just searching different areas near your hometown, Like for us,
- 21:53Speaker 1: we have a little town called Elmont again Prince Everard County, Kingston,
- 21:59Speaker 1: like just a lot of smaller towns that are close
- 22:01Speaker 1: by that would be a fun little day trip. Another
- 22:05Speaker 1: idea is traveling to the States. So I personally love
- 22:08Speaker 1: doing this and I plan on doing this again with
- 22:10Speaker 1: Zach for the fall season as well as for the
- 22:14Speaker 1: Christmas time. Because I don't know if anyone from the
- 22:17Speaker 1: States ever comes to Canada to try out Canadian things,
- 22:20Speaker 1: I don't really think they do. But for us, I
- 22:23Speaker 1: think it's just because we see so many people from
- 22:26Speaker 1: the States post about Target or Trader Joe's or Duncan
- 22:30Speaker 1: and we don't have anything like that. Like we used
- 22:32Speaker 1: to have a Target, but it completely flopped and it
- 22:35Speaker 1: was not the same as the Target in the States.
- 22:38Speaker 1: The same thing with our Amazon. Our Amazon's good, but
- 22:41Speaker 1: it's not as good as the American Amazon. So anyways,
- 22:44Speaker 1: I think it's just because we like to go there
- 22:46Speaker 1: to just try the things out that people hype about.
- 22:49Speaker 1: So for me personally, I love going to Trader Joe's
- 22:51Speaker 1: to find all these pumpkin things I see people post about,
- 22:54Speaker 1: Like pumpkin pasta. I think it's pumpkin YUCKI is what
- 22:57Speaker 1: it is. I've seen, like pumpkin spice cookies. There's like
- 23:02Speaker 1: pumpkin spice, cold foam, different types of pumpkin spice coffee
- 23:06Speaker 1: that we don't have, yogurts, you name it, like, we
- 23:09Speaker 1: don't have any of that. So it's just fun to
- 23:12Speaker 1: go buy some things, bring it home, try it out
- 23:14Speaker 1: all that. So I don't know if that's just a
- 23:16Speaker 1: Canadian thing. I don't I don't see much Americans film
- 23:20Speaker 1: videos of come to Canada with me anyways, but not
- 23:24Speaker 1: like Canada is amazing. Don't get me wrong, I love Canada,
- 23:26Speaker 1: but it's just funny to have this thing. I feel
- 23:29Speaker 1: like people from the States always comment on those videos
- 23:31Speaker 1: that I film, saying like, what's the urge to come
- 23:34Speaker 1: here compared to you know, staying in Canada, and then yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 1: I just explained to them, like, hey, there's these little
- 23:39Speaker 1: things that we don't have that as Canadians just always
- 23:42Speaker 1: want to go over and try. So however, we are
- 23:44Speaker 1: finally starting to get things from the States, like recently
- 23:47Speaker 1: we just got a Chick fil A here, which I
- 23:50Speaker 1: believe is from the States. So anyways, I just find
- 23:53Speaker 1: it funny that, you know, of course things are starting
- 23:55Speaker 1: to come here, we're just a tad behind. Another non
- 23:58Speaker 1: negotiable that I want to do this fall season is
- 24:00Speaker 1: go hiking. I love hiking in the fall, and I
- 24:04Speaker 1: think one reason is because it's so hot in the
- 24:07Speaker 1: summer that I don't find hiking enjoyable because you're just
- 24:10Speaker 1: dying of heat from you know, walking on an incline.
- 24:13Speaker 1: Where is in the fall it's not as hot, so
- 24:16Speaker 1: you know, you're not really sweating. It still feels like
- 24:18Speaker 1: a workout, but you're not dying of heat. So the
- 24:20Speaker 1: fall season for me is the perfect time to go
- 24:22Speaker 1: on a hike. And my friends actually do this pretty often.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I would say, like we have a group chat, and
- 24:27Speaker 1: I would say once every two weeks. There's a message
- 24:30Speaker 1: that goes out saying, does anyone want to go hiking?
- 24:32Speaker 1: Like what time should we go at, what trail should
- 24:34Speaker 1: we do? All that, So it's a fun thing to
- 24:36Speaker 1: do with friends during the fall season. Another no negotiable
- 24:39Speaker 1: that we're doing this season Zach and I were doing
- 24:42Speaker 1: this at home, is we're trying one new fall recipe
- 24:45Speaker 1: a week, whether it's a dinner recipe or a baking recipe.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I'm not very good at baking, but I'm so tempted
- 24:51Speaker 1: to make so many amazing things, and I think the
- 24:54Speaker 1: fall is truly the best time for baking. There's so
- 24:57Speaker 1: many good like cookie recipes. There's like this pumpkin spice
- 25:00Speaker 1: cookie that I want to make, scones, as I said,
- 25:04Speaker 1: even like any type of bread, like I personally think
- 25:07Speaker 1: of banana bread during the fall season. I don't know
- 25:10Speaker 1: if that's weird, but any kind of loaf or bread
- 25:12Speaker 1: I think of for the fall. Zach and I want
- 25:15Speaker 1: to start a soup series this week, so trying different
- 25:17Speaker 1: soups out, you know, different cast roles would be really
- 25:23Speaker 1: good as well. So I don't know. Zach and I
- 25:24Speaker 1: have just talked about it in the past few days
- 25:27Speaker 1: and we're just like we need to change up for
- 25:28Speaker 1: dinner recipes, and it'd be fun to really incorporate different
- 25:32Speaker 1: types of fall recipes thinking about, you know, the recipes
- 25:36Speaker 1: of cooking for the fall season. All that. I feel
- 25:40Speaker 1: like people need to romanticize their nights more doing candlelight dinners,
- 25:44Speaker 1: turning on the fireplace, having a glass of wine, make
- 25:47Speaker 1: hot cocoa, whatever. It is. Like, you can truly enjoy
- 25:50Speaker 1: your space if you actually put the effort towards it.
- 25:53Speaker 1: Same thing if you're in school, if you're studying and
- 25:56Speaker 1: you know you're studying at your desk and you know
- 25:59Speaker 1: you feel I don't know, like there's a feeling that
- 26:01Speaker 1: you know when you get sick and tired of a
- 26:02Speaker 1: space and you're you're not inspired and you kind of
- 26:05Speaker 1: just feel off. You have a desk that you study
- 26:08Speaker 1: at or if you work at, just add a few
- 26:10Speaker 1: touches to make it feel more fall inspired, really romanticize
- 26:14Speaker 1: the space. Light a candle again, put maybe something on
- 26:17Speaker 1: your laptop desktop and just you know, put a fall
- 26:21Speaker 1: background on. Get you know, a pumpkin candle. As I said, like,
- 26:25Speaker 1: just little things like that I think will just boost
- 26:27Speaker 1: your mood and it will create a bit of a
- 26:30Speaker 1: change in your scenery. Like my sister, for an example,
- 26:32Speaker 1: she hates her corporate office, Like she has this cubicle.
- 26:36Speaker 1: She said, I hate it. I hate working there. So
- 26:38Speaker 1: I said to her, I said, you need to go
- 26:40Speaker 1: to home sense and just you know, put a budget
- 26:43Speaker 1: in place, pick out a few fall items, buy a plant, like,
- 26:46Speaker 1: just create this space and romanticize it by making it
- 26:50Speaker 1: feel a bit more homey, like making it feel a
- 26:51Speaker 1: bit more comfortable. And she literally sent me a snapchat
- 26:54Speaker 1: this morning and she decorated it, and she was asking
- 26:56Speaker 1: me like, Okay, what do I need to add. I'm
- 26:58Speaker 1: already liking it a bit more. It feels more welcoming
- 27:01Speaker 1: to come all that. So making your space more welcoming
- 27:04Speaker 1: and more enjoyable will honestly really affect your mindset and
- 27:07Speaker 1: affect you in terms of how you feel about going
- 27:10Speaker 1: into the space all that. So anyways, that's just my
- 27:13Speaker 1: tip if you're looking to just feel reinspired or be
- 27:16Speaker 1: in a better mindset and just really romanticizing and putting
- 27:20Speaker 1: the effort into your space or nights or you know,
- 27:24Speaker 1: work ethic anything like that. Like I truly find it
- 27:27Speaker 1: makes a difference if you put the effort in creating
- 27:30Speaker 1: a work environment or a space that's more comfortable and
- 27:33Speaker 1: more homey. The last thing that is a non negotiable
- 27:36Speaker 1: for the fall season is hosting a girl's night or
- 27:38Speaker 1: a sleepover and make it into a fun fall theme.
- 27:42Speaker 1: One thing that me and my sister actually did this
- 27:44Speaker 1: past weekend is we did a painting night. So she
- 27:47Speaker 1: came over, she slept over, and we painted these glass
- 27:51Speaker 1: cups and we did like little pumpkins on it, and
- 27:54Speaker 1: we put on the Gilmore Girls in the background and
- 27:57Speaker 1: it was just a fun little Fall night. We also
- 27:59Speaker 1: made like a popcorn fall inspired mix, like we did
- 28:03Speaker 1: like pumpkin candy chocolates and I think the popcorn was
- 28:09Speaker 1: pumpkin flavored. I can't remember, but anyways, we made a
- 28:12Speaker 1: whole night out of it and it was so fun.
- 28:16Speaker 1: And I've seen so many people host fall inspired nights
- 28:19Speaker 1: with their girlfriends and again it could be cooking related.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You could do like a whole pumpkin theme, you know,
- 28:25Speaker 1: dinner and dessert night with your girlfriends. I've done like
- 28:29Speaker 1: different wine nights. You can bring all wines over, try
- 28:32Speaker 1: different wines and include different you know, Fall aspects to
- 28:37Speaker 1: the hosting night. Again, paint night. As I said, you
- 28:41Speaker 1: could carve pumpkins, bake together, whatever the case may be.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I think hosting nights like that are always so fun
- 28:48Speaker 1: and it's something different, it's enjoyable, and yeah, I just
- 28:51Speaker 1: think girls' nights are a muss. So that's everything that
- 28:54Speaker 1: I am personally wanting to achieve this fall season. And
- 28:58Speaker 1: I always love to give you guys some inspe in
- 29:00Speaker 1: terms of non negotiables that you should do for the
- 29:03Speaker 1: fall season. And as I said, I think the first
- 29:06Speaker 1: step is to go on Pinterest and figure out what's
- 29:09Speaker 1: your vibe to the fall? What do you want? What
- 29:11Speaker 1: kind of fashion sense do you want? What kind of
- 29:14Speaker 1: environment do you want to create your home? What kind
- 29:16Speaker 1: of you know environment do you want to create for
- 29:18Speaker 1: your workspace or just your bedroom? In general? What are
- 29:22Speaker 1: things that you want to do this fall season. Do
- 29:24Speaker 1: you want to have a little fall getaway? Do you
- 29:26Speaker 1: want to you know, focus on your fashion sense and
- 29:29Speaker 1: like that. Like, there's so many different ways on how
- 29:31Speaker 1: you want to achieve the best season yet, and I
- 29:34Speaker 1: truly find Pinterest is the best way to start. So
- 29:37Speaker 1: definitely make sure to create a Pinterest mood board tag
- 29:39Speaker 1: me if you create one for the fall season. That's
- 29:42Speaker 1: going to help you determine what goals you want for
- 29:45Speaker 1: this season. But anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this episode.
- 29:48Speaker 1: If you're new, definitely make sure to follow the host KILLI,
- 29:50Speaker 1: which is me. I'm on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. You
- 29:53Speaker 1: can also follow are at the Hawkrel Energy Podcast Instagram page.
- 29:57Speaker 1: We need to honestly update that because I have not
- 29:59Speaker 1: posted for an entire year on there, but I always
- 30:01Speaker 1: try and post stories on there so you guys are
- 30:04Speaker 1: up to date when there's new episodes out. All that,
- 30:06Speaker 1: but I love you guys allso much. Thank you guys
- 30:08Speaker 1: for listening to another episode, and I will see you
- 30:10Speaker 1: guys in next week's episode.
