  SPEAKER_03: I was thinking back of when our good friend Megan L, the owner of L Farm, that's before either one of us were doing anything remotely healthy.

  SPEAKER_03: And um, you know, just just doing what everybody else, just doing what we all do.

  SPEAKER_03: And at one point, Megan says, Well, you know, if you want to get started and really get on a on a good path, you gotta give up fast food.

  SPEAKER_03: That's one of the things you have to what man, my mind short circuited.

  SPEAKER_03: I was like, I mean, really, I was like, What am I, a farmer?

  SPEAKER_03: I said I'm I can't, what am I gonna eat?

  SPEAKER_05: What was I know because I I cooked at home, but not not enough.

  SPEAKER_03: I think what what we do, we probably cook one meal at home.

  SPEAKER_03: We were on the six meals a day plan back then, I think, with no fitness, but we were fitness burger in my mouth, is how we were getting things done.

  SPEAKER_03: But so we're just minutes away from part two of the occult in our culture.

  SPEAKER_03: Well, there is a lot going on in the wellness business, in the functional integrative medicine business.

  SPEAKER_03: He wanted to go back to work, and it was something between the state and the employer, and you cried.

  SPEAKER_05: I remember you you know he couldn't get the treatment he needed, and then the doctor finally said it's too late.

  SPEAKER_03: And then I remember you through COVID.

  SPEAKER_03: I remember you were working in in some uh long-term care.

  SPEAKER_05: Yes.

  SPEAKER_03: And you cried over your patients then.

  SPEAKER_03: Now I'm a baby.

  SPEAKER_03: A couple low points for sure.

  SPEAKER_03: You walked in, uh walked into the bedroom a couple days ago and broke out in a dance.

  SPEAKER_03: Now I don't think I don't think I've ever seen that before.

  SPEAKER_03: So and you had the broadest smile on your face, and you told me that well, you'll have to tell me what you told me, but I know at the end you said, I I feel, you know, they feel better, and that makes me feel so good, something like that.

  SPEAKER_03: And I don't ask, yeah.

  SPEAKER_05: Yeah, but when I have a win, I do I do say, you know, I had a patient and they're feeling better.

  SPEAKER_05: But in that case, um, it was my first female hormone patient.

  SPEAKER_05: And um we had done so many other things.

  SPEAKER_05: And when you say other things, can you in terms of lifestyle things like diet changes, things like that, but um, she just felt so bad that it was hard for her to get up that talk every day.

  SPEAKER_03: You felt bad for a lot of years.

  SPEAKER_03: I remember and and I every time you eat, you could eat a tic-tac, and you were like, Oh, I'm so bloated, I feel terrible.

  SPEAKER_05: Hers was she was just anxiety and you know, that kind of thing.

  SPEAKER_05: But um, I was talking to my supervising physician about it, and I'm gonna say this too, because I've said on previous episodes how frustrated I get having to have a supervising physician.

  SPEAKER_03: You have to do that once or twice.

  SPEAKER_05: But right now I'm very happy to have one, and I'm happy that I found one who believes in what I'm doing.

  SPEAKER_05: So anyway, I was telling him, you know, no one wants to change the way they're eating, they don't want to change their life.

  SPEAKER_05: They don't want to exercise or they don't want to change anything.

  SPEAKER_03: It's no fun.

  SPEAKER_05: And he said, but Carolyn, if you can help them optimize their hormones, then they're gonna feel better, and then they can exercise.

  SPEAKER_07: The job of those shows were to desensitize people against evil.

  SPEAKER_07: Number two, to create like soul ties and mindsets in people that would resist God.

  SPEAKER_07: They don't understand the Bible because you cannot serve two gods.

  SPEAKER_02: And the reason we've done that is to see people who are deceived come to the light of the truth.

  SPEAKER_02: I know that can sound combative to some, but I'm saying that to shake for a moment.

  SPEAKER_02: Listen to first Galatians chapter 5, starting in verse 19.

  SPEAKER_02: It says, the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are, and then many are named.

  SPEAKER_02: And two of them that are important for our conversation are idolatry and sorcery.

  SPEAKER_02: And that word sorcery is just a junk drawer term for the occult.

  SPEAKER_02: So anything that you would shove into, it's not a technical term for, well, I'm a sorcerer, I'm not a sorcerer, you know, I'm a new age or whatever.

  SPEAKER_02: Like, no, this is a junk drawer term that just includes everything in the occult.

  SPEAKER_02: And then farther down it says, I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

  SPEAKER_02: So here is a warning from Paul to these groups of Christians who are interacting with non-Christians, who says, if sorcery is what you practice, if the occult is what you practice, then you are not part of God's kingdom.

  SPEAKER_02: You are part, you are deceived if you think you're part of God's kingdom.

  SPEAKER_02: It's actually the opposite of that.

  SPEAKER_02: And so this podcast exists to help people see the truth so they can leave it, which is what happened in your life.

  SPEAKER_00: And talking today about the entertainment industry and the way that music and movies and all that, but specifically today, music can be a lure that Hollywood uses to draw people into the occult.

  SPEAKER_00: Looking back at things that I used to watch and things that I used to listen to, it's actually striking and shocking seeing how blatant the occult symbolism, the occult words can be kind of hidden in plain sight among songs that just sound happy and mesmerizing and just things that you hear on the radio, you don't realize what you're taking in.

  SPEAKER_02: So I know that you were living in Hollywood.

  SPEAKER_02: You were seeking to make it in Hollywood in many ways back in the day, before the Lord saved you.

  SPEAKER_02: And the reason I bring that up is because back on November 7th, I'm listening to a podcast and I text you saying how much of your pursuing the occult was connected to the music industry.

  SPEAKER_02: Like what was there a blending of those things?
• 11:35
  SPEAKER_02: Because I was listening to a podcast where a guy was talking about how his friend believed the way that he would get ahead in Hollywood was by delving deeper and deeper into masonry.

  SPEAKER_02: And so all of that reminded me of your story.

  SPEAKER_02: And so that's why I asked you.

  SPEAKER_02: And so as you hear that, what are some of the things that come to mind?

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, quite a few things.

  SPEAKER_00: It stands out to me a lot how, you know, having that dream as a child, I want to be famous.

  SPEAKER_00: And that being this drive now that I'm living in Hollywood and I'm, I want to make it and follow my dreams.

  SPEAKER_00: And then I hear about things like the law of attraction, and the people touting the law of attraction are people who have had a lot of success monetarily or fame, or they're entrepreneurs with a huge business.

  SPEAKER_00: Like they know the secret that has given them all of these earthly material things that I want.

  SPEAKER_00: And so diving deeper into that, wanting to know where that power came from was leading me deeper into the occult.

  SPEAKER_00: And though I would have said that it was for the pursuit of hidden knowledge and just ultimately the pursuit of knowledge, deep down there was this drive that, okay, these people are now in a secret.

  SPEAKER_00: And if I get in on the secret too, then I can make my will be done, but I can make my dreams come true or I can fulfill my personal desires.

  SPEAKER_00: And was really lured away by that, the secret knowledge that people who were very successful in Hollywood claim to have.

  SPEAKER_02: You were also involved in like a in like raves and um concerts and and big festivals and things of that nature.

  SPEAKER_02: In any of those environments, did you experience the occult?

  SPEAKER_02: Did you see the occult?

  SPEAKER_02: Um, did was there, I mean, who knows?

  SPEAKER_02: You tell me.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah.

  SPEAKER_00: So in those environments, there of course is debauchery, there's a lot of crazy living, sexual immorality, those in those kind of ways.

  SPEAKER_00: But then there's also a lot of symbolism of these people that I was hanging out with that were part of a certain record label, they had hats that had the Masonic G, and I believe even the compass, and no one seemed to know that what they meant.

  SPEAKER_00: But when I pointed it out to them and said, Oh, that's so interesting that you have the symbol, it was kind of weird that I knew.

  SPEAKER_00: So it's almost like it's kind of a weird way to word it, but it feels like there's this uh maybe not club but society that a lot of people are in on, and there are ways that pe people who are in this give nods to each other that shows I'm part of this thing.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, but people who aren't in it wouldn't know what those are.

  SPEAKER_02: Sounds like a conspiracy theory.

  SPEAKER_02: So that's why I'm asking you.

  SPEAKER_02: Because it's not just that they were surprised that you knew what those symbols were, but you could tell that they knew what those symbols were and that they were a part of a thing that you, it's almost like you outed them in a sense, right?

  SPEAKER_00: And it's interesting because even then it's hard to know if they were truly part of it or if they had also gotten in on the clue that people who are a part of it are able to get ahead.

  SPEAKER_00: And so then you want to associate yourself with those symbols until you then are accepted as part of it.

  SPEAKER_00: So it's kind of like this weird circle.

  SPEAKER_00: But there is definitely this draw to occult symbolism because in the music industry, too, and people who are very successful, they seem to be in on something that you're not, and you want to know what it what is the secret that they know.

  SPEAKER_02: So that was gonna be my question.

  SPEAKER_02: Like, most of America has no idea about occult symbolism.

  SPEAKER_02: Um, most of America, I would I would say a lot of them would be put off by that stuff.

  SPEAKER_02: It's not something that draws them to it, you know, goat heads and blood and all of these crazy things.

  SPEAKER_02: But yet, popular, popular artists come out with material that that that push this stuff and show this stuff.

  SPEAKER_02: And it's interesting to think that, okay, what you just said is is is very interesting to me that, well, they do it without any explanation so that you pursue it.

  SPEAKER_02: And so when it comes to seeing these kinds of things, the reason I'm asking you this is because you were surrounded by the symbolism, you studied the symbolism in the sense like you were deeply involved in the occult.

  SPEAKER_02: So then when you watch, when you see music videos, when you see movies, when you see various things, you can see things that the rest of us don't see.

  SPEAKER_02: And so what are some things that would be a normal thing for for that you would see that other people wouldn't see?

  SPEAKER_02: One was, like you said, the the Masonic symbol, the compass and the G.

  SPEAKER_02: So what else?

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, there's quite a few of them.

  SPEAKER_00: And and something I do want to say just up front is that I I don't go looking for symbols in everything because you, I mean, anyone can accidentally make a symbol, but there are specific artists who are so blatant, it seems like every which way you look, they're doing a specific symbol to signify something.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and so one of them is having one eye covered, because one eye, just having one eye is seen as the eye of providence or the eye of Horace, or basically the all-seeing eye, which is a huge, it's on our dollar bill.

  SPEAKER_00: It's a huge part of um secret societies, is this idea of the secret wisdom, the secret knowledge.

  SPEAKER_00: And so whether it's a photo of literally someone's eye being covered by their hand or hair, um, is a signal of the secret knowledge, the esoteric all-seeing eye.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, blood is another one.

  SPEAKER_00: We see that a lot more and more black eyes, like demonic eyes.

  SPEAKER_02: Um like pupils.

  SPEAKER_00: Pupils, and sometimes even yeah, exactly, wearing something so the whole eye is just black even.

  SPEAKER_00: And um a lot of just there's a lot of the eye of providence, whether it's a triangle with um something at the top.

  SPEAKER_00: This is someone that I used to watch a lot, and you could see the pyramid behind her.

  SPEAKER_00: She's also doing, which I didn't notice when I watched this.

  SPEAKER_00: Right, just blatantly.

  SPEAKER_02: But the song with the one, for those who don't know, one hand up, one hand down, various gestures.

  SPEAKER_00: And which in the occult signifies as above, so below, which is a huge part of the occult.

  SPEAKER_00: But I didn't even notice that it's such a happy song.

  SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and anyway, so there they're just symbols, especially with artists.

  SPEAKER_00: Like this specific artist's name was Poppy, and she was very blatant with occult symbolism.

  SPEAKER_00: She had the devil in her music videos, she's eating things she shouldn't be eating.

  SPEAKER_00: And so it's in your face, but there was this, it was almost like she was winking, like she was in on this symbolism, and it was so intriguing.

  SPEAKER_00: And so um, looking back, it was shocking to see how serious the symbolism is.

  SPEAKER_00: And now she's not this obscure person.

  SPEAKER_00: She actually performed at the Grammys in 2021 and apparently is performing again this year.

  SPEAKER_00: So uh, whatever nod she gave seems she's continuing to give more and more, deeper and deeper, and more gross um immorality in her music videos.

  SPEAKER_00: But it's really sad looking back, seeing how what a draw this was to me because I found it so attractive.

  SPEAKER_00: Because ultimately, I think back to John 3, like I loved the darkness, and there's something so alluring in my sin that wait, she gets something that I'm into.

  SPEAKER_02: And she's being rewarded for going deeper and deeper into the occult and her symbolism in her music and things of that nature.

  SPEAKER_02: Um when you're when you're in Hollywood, is there a a pull to that as you're as you're just interacting with people, you're you're at school, you're at work, whatnot, but you want to be in the business.

  SPEAKER_02: Um, because like I said, listening to people talk about this, who so I'm I'm not just talking, I'm not just my total background on this is not just your story.

  SPEAKER_02: I've listened to other people's story who say the same thing that in order for me to get into the the center and not just stay on the periphery, there are certain things that I had to do, certain rituals I had to perform, certain things that I had to believe, and other things I had to distance myself from, or I was never going to get there.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, there was definitely a draw to that.

  SPEAKER_00: And also just at the school that I was in, when I started going to a school in Hollywood, which is right next to where Jimmy Kimmel uh records, which he happens to have bought out an old Freemason lodge, and that's like where he records.

  SPEAKER_00: Um there was even just in that setting, there was a big push to be um moldable and to be able to kind of be a blank slate.

  SPEAKER_00: And because I was just saved, I was so excited.

  SPEAKER_00: I refused to sing anything but Christian songs.

  SPEAKER_00: And it was very like, okay, you can use that if you want and then transition into more secular, but if you keep just doing Christian things, like you're never going to be anyone.

  SPEAKER_00: And so there is a push to like go of um morality and draw into this.

  SPEAKER_00: But I mean, even thinking back to when I was in the DJ world, there's just you want to be in the in-club.

  SPEAKER_00: And if you've ever been in a fraternity or a sorority, you can kind of relate to how your fraternity brothers or your sorority sisters you care about, you want to help them out.

  SPEAKER_00: They're part of, they're part of your society, and you have this affinity to them, you have this connection to them, and so you help them out.

  SPEAKER_00: Well, when you're in a society with people, you're one in the same, and usually you've done rituals to unite yourself together.

  SPEAKER_00: Like it, and so whether or not these artists actually even know what they're doing, or if someone behind the camera is the one directing it to give the nod, um, there is this occultism that's being put out on purpose into the world for a reason to draw people.

  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and that seems to be I mean, just like this podcast exists to try to draw people out of that, those things exist to draw people into it.

  SPEAKER_02: We're seeking to pull you towards him, and out of that, to the light, to the truth, to peace, to salvation.

  SPEAKER_02: They want you to ask the questions and dig deeper because digging deeper is how you get caught.

  SPEAKER_00: And in esotericism, being a Christian is so hated because it's seen as a dogma that is holding you back from being truly awakened into esoteric knowledge.

  SPEAKER_00: There's an artist named Aurora who came out with a song that was so catchy, it didn't sound scary or dark at all.

  SPEAKER_00: And in it, she's dancing, there's masks involved, she's eating the forbidden fruit on a checkerboard floor.

  SPEAKER_00: It's just so blatantly in your face, like, and the lyrics are I don't need a cure.

  SPEAKER_00: So the just the motif of the reality of someone eating the forbidden fruit is over and over again.

  SPEAKER_00: Also in one of Katy Perry's most famous songs, Wide Awake, millions, actually, it might have even had a billion views when I looked at it.

  SPEAKER_00: In the beginning, uh, she's recording a really happy, really popular music video where she's all sweet.

  SPEAKER_00: And then she goes into the sequence where she's dressed as basically the hermit, which is a tarot card almost identical, which is about gaining secret knowledge.

  SPEAKER_00: Then she finds the forbidden fruit, and on her wrist is tattooed Jesus as she takes the forbidden fruit and eats of it.

  SPEAKER_00: And then she's in this whole weird thing where there's butterflies and people in animal masks and checkerboard floors and wheelchairs, and it's just weird.

  SPEAKER_00: And but no one bats an eye.

  SPEAKER_00: But then the people who are wondering, what is this alluding to?

  SPEAKER_00: There's some draw, and I can speak for myself, being influenced from a young age into the supernatural, there's just something that clicked in me in my sin of this lustful, like draw to that imagery and wanting more.

  SPEAKER_00: And so I just want to say at the end of the day, what you're gonna find is that Lucifer, what they're going to say is that Lucifer's the good guy, and that eating the fruit actually gave you knowledge.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, we look at our phones when they turn on or the back of our iPhones, it's it's the same thing, it's a bite out of a fruit.

  SPEAKER_00: That is the grand lie, is that Christianity is holding you back.

  SPEAKER_00: So I ended up joining a Hermetic Order called the Golden Dawn, and a part of that too was them saying, Oh, this will be great.

  SPEAKER_00: The the secret name that they gave me that they said the basically the beings, now I know demons, had given them this name for me, and it basically meant it had to do with my voice.

  SPEAKER_00: So I thought, oh, they didn't even know I was a singer and this is this huge thing.

  SPEAKER_00: Now I'm gonna have all these connections.

  SPEAKER_00: Like that was a selling point for me into this order, is that now I'm in with the, you know, the people too, and I'm gaining the secrets that all these people knew.

  SPEAKER_00: But as I'm in this, it was just I was getting more and more depraved.

  SPEAKER_00: Uh, sure, I was mana, like quote unquote, manifesting things.

  SPEAKER_00: I was getting things that I wanted, but who I was inside was broken and empty and lost, and always running from myself, not wanting to feel the absolute darkness.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, but by God's grace, in that order, they would take the Bible out of context.

  SPEAKER_00: So I started reading it for myself, and God used his word to pierce me and reveal to me that I'm so glad that you started this off with the verse about sorcery being a work of the flesh, because I thought sorcery was a good thing.

  SPEAKER_00: But as I was reading the Bible, it was just piercing me that no, this is sin.

  SPEAKER_00: No, no matter what this secret knowledge says, I am sinning against God.

  SPEAKER_00: And I looked so many other ways, so many other works to wash myself clean.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's also a common motif, being reborn, being washed clean in songs, this this desire to be washed clean.

  SPEAKER_00: But the only way that you can truly be forgiven, truly washed clean, truly made new is through the blood of Jesus Christ shed on behalf of sinners on the cross, where he bore God's wrath that I deserved and my sin in my place, um, died and rose again.

  SPEAKER_00: Like there, there is no other way.

  SPEAKER_00: And so coming to a place of understanding who Jesus truly is, that he's not this type, he's not this thing that I can become or this imagery, like the Bible is true.

  SPEAKER_00: And there's such true power in being and who Christ is and who God is, and that he can truly make sinners new creations and forgive sin because there's you will find forgiveness nowhere else.

  SPEAKER_00: Um and I've truly found that out.

  SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, the cleansing that people look for, the calmness of their conscience, the being free.

  SPEAKER_02: It's not found in anything else but him.

  SPEAKER_02: And um it's sad that there is a concerted effort to replace Jesus with either false Jesuses or the devil himself to say he's the savior, not Jesus.

  SPEAKER_02: And um, but that's why we do this podcast, that's why we put it out into the world in the hopes that people will hear it and the the light bulb will click on.

  SPEAKER_02: God's Spirit will open their eyes and they'll realize, no, wait a minute, everything I believe is a lie, and everything I thought was a lie, Jesus is actually true.

  SPEAKER_02: And having a conversation with somebody who was in, who was seeking to be in the business, who was even using occult means in order to get, in order to manifest being in the business and being in the music industry.

  SPEAKER_02: Like, so here here here is somebody proof that, yeah, no, this is not a conspiracy theory.

  SPEAKER_02: This is this is what it's like there.

  SPEAKER_02: In order for you to get ahead, you have to reject Christ.

  SPEAKER_02: You have to walk away from him.

  SPEAKER_02: And to get even more ahead, you have to embrace some form of this occult activity.

  SPEAKER_02: And that will be what helps you get into the deeper levels and the into the more fame and more uh more influence that that a person wants.

  SPEAKER_02: And so it is it's important that um that people understand that it's not just some conspiracy theory, it it is it's real life.

  SPEAKER_00: Yes, and it reminds me of how um the Bible says, whoever loves the world, the love of the father is not in him.

  SPEAKER_00: For all that is in the world, the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the boastful pride of life is not from God, but it's from the world, and the world is passing away along with its lusts.

  SPEAKER_00: But whoever does the will of God abides forever.

  SPEAKER_00: I um even even just thinking, maybe, maybe you're out there thinking, well, I'm not pursuing the occult, I just want these worldly things.

  SPEAKER_00: The more and more that you let the world in and crave the world and desire the world and want these worldly things, the more and more ultimately you're pushing away from God because you cannot love the world and love God.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was pursuing um things that I thought were noble, like success and worldly fame, but I was not only doing so in a completely sinful way, but didn't realize that I was making an idol of myself, that my dream was my idol.

  SPEAKER_00: And even though I could try to twist what I was doing to make it sound noble, it was truly against God.

  SPEAKER_00: And I've said this before, but I can so relate with uh John 3, 19 to 21.

  SPEAKER_00: And this is the judgment that light has come into the world, and people love darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.

  SPEAKER_00: For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light lest his works should be exposed.

  SPEAKER_00: But whoever does what is true comes to the light so that it may be seen clearly that his works have been carried out in God.

  SPEAKER_00: And when I was in this, there was such a love for dark things.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's so hard to think about and say now.

  SPEAKER_00: But I was, I truly believe at a certain point I was possessed.

  SPEAKER_00: I was asking for these things, and there was such a draw to these dark things.

  SPEAKER_00: And so, if that's you, if you are just like, I just love dark things, or I'm just pulled into this, recognize that that is evidence that you are so far from God.

  SPEAKER_00: And even if it's being twisted to look noble and to look this esoteric knowledge, it's actually power, it's actually good.

  SPEAKER_00: You're being lied to, and it's actually leading to your destruction.

  SPEAKER_00: And Lucifer does not love you, has never loved you, and only wants you to be destroyed.

  SPEAKER_00: Um but God truly loves you, He created you, and what He desires for you is good, but it takes humbling yourself and turning from your sin and putting your faith in Christ.

  SPEAKER_02: And that's where we're saying you actually choose what's best for you, which is Christ's, it's not these other things.

  SPEAKER_02: I think this is an important conversation to have because it's so out there, it's so popular, it's so in your face, and it's so alluring.

  SPEAKER_02: Because I mean, I'll I'll interact with parents who are like, oh, I want my daughter to go on this audition, or I want my son to go on this audition and go get involved and this or that thing.

  SPEAKER_02: And I'm just going, you understand that that your kid really gets into that line of work, into the business, like there's going to be a radical, radical moment where they're either going to choose Christ and leave, or they're going to choose the world and they're going to leave Christ.

  SPEAKER_02: And so, even on the shepherding level, aside from the evangelism level, the shepherding level is something that's critically important here too.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's so important.

  SPEAKER_00: And just to say, at my most worldly highest moments, when I was working with DJs that I'd always wanted to work with, or I was doing the things I'd always wanted to do, and I'd quote unquote manifested it, and I felt so powerful.

  SPEAKER_00: I it was just darkness.

  SPEAKER_00: It wasn't what I thought it would be when I got there.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was this broken person that sure I might have got what I want on paper, but it wasn't what I thought it was.

  SPEAKER_00: And that's the reality outside of Christ is you're promised gold and you're just given trash.

  SPEAKER_00: So even if it did work and you manifested it, without Christ, without being right with God, it's just emptiness.

  SPEAKER_00: So Christ is better than anything this world has to offer you.

  SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's such a joy and a privilege to follow him.

  SPEAKER_00: And I love when you talk about Mark 8, I believe in the cost of discipleship that Jesus says to deny ourselves.
