An officer-involved shooting in Ada, Oklahoma, left one man dead and no officers injured. Around 5 PM, a Chickasaw Lighthorse officer and a Pontotoc County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a disturbance call and encountered 50-year-old Jeremy Clark, who pulled out a firearm. The officer fired in self-defense, and Clark was pronounced dead at the scene. The OSBI is now investigating, with findings to be handed to the district attorney for next steps.
