- 0:38Speaker 2: How you doing, hey.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Mark doing well? Really good. I think the economy is
- 0:43Speaker 1: looking better every day, although in a little worried about
- 0:46Speaker 1: the issue with what's going on and around. But if
- 0:49Speaker 1: we can get that oil price down, I think all
- 0:51Speaker 1: systems are going. We've got a construction boom going on
- 0:54Speaker 1: in manufacturing, investment boom, as Larry Cudler would say, so
- 0:57Speaker 1: we got a stock market boom. So I like, what's
- 1:00Speaker 1: going on America. But we got to do something about
- 1:02Speaker 1: getting that straight of horror moves. Every time we think
- 1:04Speaker 1: we're past that crisis, it seems that were uped again.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Okay, but we intensified bombing. If this goes for let's
- 1:12Speaker 2: say eight weeks at the most, we could get through that,
- 1:14Speaker 2: can't we.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Yeah, and well listen, I mean, I'm not an expert
- 1:18Speaker 1: on foreign policy, but I'm here to say that when
- 1:20Speaker 1: when that you know, energy, those own energy channels are
- 1:24Speaker 1: back open, there's a very good chance we're going to
- 1:27Speaker 1: see a real economic boom. By the way, you know,
- 1:30Speaker 1: we had to doll up at over fifty three thousand.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I think it's fallen a little bit since then, but
- 1:34Speaker 1: that's so incredible. I mean, when I first came to Washington,
- 1:36Speaker 1: it was one thousand, fifty three thousand. That shows you
- 1:39Speaker 1: the power of the American economy.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Well, hey, explain this to me years ago, many many
- 1:45Speaker 2: years here. Nelson Rockefeller his dream was to run for president,
- 1:48Speaker 2: but he had been divorced. Yeah, they said, well a
- 1:50Speaker 2: divorce man, it's just too much. You can't run for president.
- 1:53Speaker 2: How is it now? You could have a Nazi tattoo
- 1:55Speaker 2: on your chest while you're raping some and it's fine,
- 1:59Speaker 2: that's that's no what happened.
- 2:02Speaker 1: Well, this is a real shame in the Democratic Party,
- 2:05Speaker 1: by the way that you know, uh, what's his name again, Graham,
- 2:09Speaker 1: what's the platinum platin. Yeah. I mean, first of all,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you know, he emerges on the scene and he's the
- 2:16Speaker 1: dowling of the Democrats, right, He's the next big thing
- 2:18Speaker 1: in the Democratic Party, and he's a working man's guy
- 2:21Speaker 1: and out of the h don't don't you know, never
- 2:24Speaker 1: mind the fact that he has a Nazi tattoo, and
- 2:26Speaker 1: never mind that he has all these allegations of uh,
- 2:28Speaker 1: you know, abusing women, et cetera, et cetera. But you know,
- 2:31Speaker 1: all the Democrats in the Senate, Oh, he's wonderful. Bernie
- 2:34Speaker 1: Sanders says he's my guy, and so does Elizabeth Warren.
- 2:37Speaker 1: But then he starts falling in the polls, right, and
- 2:41Speaker 1: all of a sudden, the bloom is off the rose.
- 2:43Speaker 1: So what do they do. They throw him under the bus,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and they say, we got to get rid of this guy.
- 2:47Speaker 1: And so now he's out, and now the Democratic establishment
- 2:51Speaker 1: will pick their own candidate. Gee. That sounds a lot
- 2:54Speaker 1: like what they did to Joe Biden. Right.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Ye hey, let me just I noticed the way the socialists,
- 3:00Speaker 2: these democratics socialists, The way that socialism works is everybody
- 3:05Speaker 2: gets nothing and the people running it get everything. You know,
- 3:08Speaker 2: city council take it rich. Yeah, city councils voting themselves
- 3:11Speaker 2: are raised. Even this crazy governor wants everybody turned their
- 3:15Speaker 2: thermostat up. People are reporting, oh my god. Reporters have
- 3:18Speaker 2: gone into city hall and checked the temperature that bring thermometers.
- 3:21Speaker 2: They have it at sixty eight. Why do we have
- 3:23Speaker 2: to be seventy eight?
- 3:25Speaker 1: Yeah, this is a big story. We have this in
- 3:27Speaker 1: our hotline today. By the way, people can get that
- 3:29Speaker 1: just go to on lease first thirty dot com and
- 3:32Speaker 1: get it for free. But this story about Hockel, what
- 3:35Speaker 1: she wants to do is regulate, have the government regulate
- 3:38Speaker 1: the temperature of your house. So do you remember I'm Mark,
- 3:41Speaker 1: I think you and I I'm a little maybe a
- 3:42Speaker 1: little bit older than you. Remember Jimmy Carter and his
- 3:45Speaker 1: fireside chats. It's a car to get sweater or the
- 3:47Speaker 1: exist that you know, everybody's got to turn down their thermostat,
- 3:51Speaker 1: you know, turn up, you know, cold winter months because
- 3:54Speaker 1: we're running out of energy. That seems to be the
- 3:56Speaker 1: canty Hochel you know idea that she we're gonna and
- 4:00Speaker 1: now they've got this kind of Orwellian idea that if
- 4:04Speaker 1: you pay that if you pay the utility companies, they
- 4:08Speaker 1: will pay you three hundred dollars a year if you'll
- 4:11Speaker 1: let them regulate the temperature of your house.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Yes, so no, what you say is they're not suggesting
- 4:16Speaker 2: seventy eight they would install a thermostat that they can
- 4:19Speaker 2: control from somewhere.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Yes, exactly what I mean, that's like George Orgewell or
- 4:23Speaker 1: well stuff. I mean, so what Hoka wants us to say,
- 4:27Speaker 1: you should really shouldn't have your temperature And the Europeans
- 4:30Speaker 1: have been doing this too, you know, not set below
- 4:33Speaker 1: seventy eight degrees in the summer and not above sixty
- 4:36Speaker 1: eight degrees in the winter. What you have to wear
- 4:42Speaker 1: a parker in your house in the winter, and you're
- 4:44Speaker 1: gonna have to paint stop in your house in the summer.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I mean, this is craziness, it really is. And so
- 4:52Speaker 1: the idea that the government can go can regulate the
- 4:55Speaker 1: temperature house, I mean, are there are no individual rights
- 4:57Speaker 1: and there are no limits on the power of government. Yeah.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And if they do that, if they got away with that,
- 5:02Speaker 2: they would next do it to your television, set your
- 5:05Speaker 2: oven every time. So so this November, everybody start here.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Everybody throw Kathy Hokle out and vote in Bruce Blakeman
- 5:14Speaker 2: in November. Let's start there, and hopefully it starts a
- 5:18Speaker 2: movement to get rid of these These socialists will all
- 5:22Speaker 2: just wear themselves out, and you know they'll be gone
- 5:26Speaker 2: in two years, won't they?
- 5:29Speaker 1: I hope. So. I mean, I think one of the
- 5:30Speaker 1: tragedies of our country right now, frankly, Mark, is that
- 5:34Speaker 1: we've got our great cities like New York, in Chicago
- 5:37Speaker 1: and Los Angeles and now including Seattle, that are run
- 5:42Speaker 1: by basically left wing socialists, and they're destroying our great cities.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I mean, it's a very sad thing to see. And
- 5:52Speaker 1: so you know what, the survival of our cities really
- 5:54Speaker 1: is dependent on getting rid of these people. I mean,
- 5:58Speaker 1: look at you know, I love this headline the other
- 6:00Speaker 1: day and the New York Times. It is that you know, gee,
- 6:03Speaker 1: all the landlords are really surprised and the government officials
- 6:06Speaker 1: that people aren't paying their rent. Well, gee, maybe if
- 6:08Speaker 1: you tell people you don't have to pay your rent
- 6:10Speaker 1: and you'll never be evicted, people won't pay their rent. Yeah,
- 6:13Speaker 1: that's what's happening.
- 6:15Speaker 2: So hey, you probably saw this building collapse we have here.
- 6:19Speaker 2: They're so busy worrying about my thermostat. Why aren't they
- 6:22Speaker 2: doing a bad job of approving If you look at
- 6:24Speaker 2: what they did adding twenty stories on top of whill
- 6:28Speaker 2: approve that, why don't they work on that approval process
- 6:32Speaker 2: a little more.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Well, that's a great point. And you know, the government
- 6:38Speaker 1: is so involved in things like climate change policy and
- 6:43Speaker 1: so on, they're neglecting the things that really matter, which
- 6:46Speaker 1: is safety. And you know, you guys have very strict
- 6:48Speaker 1: climate change policies in New York. You wouldn't be running
- 6:51Speaker 1: out of energy today, by the way, in New York,
- 6:54Speaker 1: you wouldn't have to be regulating people's thermostats. New York
- 6:57Speaker 1: has a lot of energy. You know, you've got your
- 7:00Speaker 1: right there in the shale formation. And you've seen the
- 7:03Speaker 1: charts in our book that show that. You know that
- 7:06Speaker 1: Pennsylvania is taking all your energy. You know that they're
- 7:10Speaker 1: drilling the known in New York and taking out your
- 7:12Speaker 1: energy because you won't drill for it. You wouldn't have
- 7:14Speaker 1: to be paying so high utility bills in New York
- 7:17Speaker 1: if you just went through your by the way, est him,
- 7:20Speaker 1: it's three billion dollars a year you've lost because of
- 7:22Speaker 1: these crazy climate change which, by the way, are doing
- 7:26Speaker 1: nothing to change the temperature of the planet.
- 7:27Speaker 2: Yeah, we're sitting on top of natural guests. Also, that
- 7:30Speaker 2: crazy Andrew Cuomo closed Indian point that nuclear plant was
- 7:34Speaker 2: twenty five percent of our energy. What was the argument
- 7:36Speaker 2: against nuclear It's as clean as can be, isn't it?
- 7:39Speaker 1: It sure is. And by the way, I don't think
- 7:41Speaker 1: I've seen the latest polls, but the first time in
- 7:44Speaker 1: fifty years of majority of Americans now support climate change,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I mean nuclear power. So that's pretty amazing thing. The
- 7:52Speaker 1: nuclear power is clean, it's sufficient, it's cheap, it's abundant.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You don't run out of it. I don't think we're
- 7:57Speaker 1: running out of atoms.
- 7:58Speaker 2: To you, if you were to drill we're sitting on
- 8:04Speaker 2: top of all this natural gas. If you were to
- 8:06Speaker 2: drill that, not only would you fix our energy problem.
- 8:09Speaker 2: But doesn't that doesn't that create a ton of jobs
- 8:12Speaker 2: all over the state.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Oh? Sure it does. And look at by the way,
- 8:15Speaker 1: if you think I'm exaggerating folks, look what happened in Germany.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Because Germany went all in on wind power and solar
- 8:21Speaker 1: power about fifteen years ago, and they've damn near deindustrialized
- 8:24Speaker 1: the whole state, I mean the whole country. You know,
- 8:27Speaker 1: they couldn't make dmw's and stuff because the energy was
- 8:30Speaker 1: so expensive. They're finally coming around to saying, wait a minute,
- 8:32Speaker 1: this isn't really working, so let's not follow the losers.
- 8:35Speaker 1: And that's what New York does too often. There's nothing
- 8:38Speaker 1: that could New York can make a big comeback. Just
- 8:41Speaker 1: get somebody in there and cut taxes, cut regulation, get
- 8:44Speaker 1: rid of these crazy green energy policies, and we will
- 8:47Speaker 1: see a New York get rich again.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yeah, Bruce Blakeman November, like our Ron DeSantis, he could
- 8:53Speaker 2: turn this whole thing around.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I mean, by the way, the last thing I know,
- 8:55Speaker 1: rut in Town. I saw a speech by Lee Elden.
- 8:58Speaker 1: He spoke at our conference last week on you know,
- 9:03Speaker 1: what was called Prosperity to fifty, and he was talked
- 9:05Speaker 1: about all the things they're doing to deregulate the economy.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And because he said ahead of EPA, that guy is
- 9:10Speaker 1: so damn impross. He's so smart. And I'm like, the
- 9:13Speaker 1: voters of New York voted for Kathy Hochel over this guy.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I mean, you know, if Lee Zelden were governor today,
- 9:21Speaker 1: boy in New York would be in great shape.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, well, thanks for rubbing it in. Don't make that mistake.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Come from Illinois, We're not much better.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, this daily hotline that you put out the
