- 0:14Yes,
- 0:15he's here.
- 0:16He's in Texas.
- 0:17He's gonna walk over to the studio
- 0:19and join us to tell us all about his brand new venture,
- 0:21the Torch.
- 0:22It's very,
- 0:23very cool.
- 0:23Thank you.
- 0:23You're gonna like it and give you all the details on that.
- 0:26Americans
- 0:26are getting creative with their healthcare.
- 0:28We'll look at a frightening new trend on that front,
- 0:31but we're going to start by doing the warmth
- 0:33of collectivism.
- 0:35Yes,
- 0:35it's Mamdani time.
- 0:37I'm very excited.
- 0:38This is the monologue I wanted to do the entire vacation.
- 0:41Uh,
- 0:41because I just kept thinking about this over and over and over again,
- 0:44like how can this be happening in our country,
- 0:46in the financial capital
- 0:47of the world.
- 0:48Of course,
- 0:48Zoran Mamdani won the mayoral election back in November
- 0:52and is going to be ushered in.
- 0:53You might think,
- 0:54well,
- 0:54you know,
- 0:55he won the election,
- 0:56sure he was a firebrand when he was out there on the campaign tour,
- 0:58but what's he really going to be like as a mayor?
- 1:00He tried to make that very,
- 1:01very clear
- 1:03in his opening,
- 1:04uh,
- 1:04speech,
- 1:05uh,
- 1:05where he talked about
- 1:07the warmth
- 1:08of collectivism.
- 1:10We will draw this city closer together.
- 1:13We will replace the frigidity of rugged
- 1:16individualism with the warmth of collectivism.
- 1:19If I.
- 1:21Campaign demonstrated that the people of New York yearn for solidarity,
- 1:25then let this government foster it.
- 1:27Because
- 1:28no matter what you eat,
- 1:30how you pray,
- 1:31or where you come from,
- 1:33the words that most define us are the two we all share,
- 1:38New Yorkers.
- 1:39It is unbelievable that anyone is falling for this,
- 1:42after what has happened in our history.
- 1:45The frigidity
- 1:47of rugged individualism,
- 1:48the thing that built America.
- 1:50He's describing it as frigid and cold and
- 1:54awful,
- 1:54an awful experience.
- 1:56And then the warmth,
- 1:57the warm blanket
- 1:59of collectivism.
- 2:00It's not even
- 2:01hiding it,
- 2:02it's not even the collectivism,
- 2:03the,
- 2:03the warmth of working together.
- 2:06He's not even using a euphemism.
- 2:07He's just coming out and saying it,
- 2:09he's just saying,
- 2:09hey,
- 2:10let me just pitch this to you,
- 2:11Marxism.
- 2:13Now of course the warmth of collectivism is very,
- 2:15very well known.
- 2:16They wrote a great book about it.
- 2:18It's a little long.
- 2:19It's called The Black Book of Communism,
- 2:22and honestly I'm thinking that maybe,
- 2:24maybe
- 2:25it's time for a revised cover of this.
- 2:27I'm just going to pitch this to the authors.
- 2:29Here it is.
- 2:30The warmth of collectivism.
- 2:32Wouldn't this be a great new title
- 2:35for the Black Book of communism,
- 2:37uh,
- 2:37which,
- 2:38by the way,
- 2:39if you don't have it,
- 2:40you should just have a copy of that book.
- 2:41So you can always refer to it because it is
- 2:44an endless
- 2:47telling.
- 2:48All the horrors of the world
- 2:50of communism and what it has done to us over the past 100 years.
- 2:54We're talking about
- 2:55millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of people dead,
- 2:58right?
- 2:58Like we're talking 9 figures of people killed
- 3:00by this philosophy
- 3:01that the people of New York were just like,
- 3:03you know,
- 3:04let's try that here.
- 3:05What could possibly go wrong?
- 3:07By the way,
- 3:07if you're wondering what could possibly go wrong,
- 3:10let me illustrate it here with you,
- 3:12and a graph,
- 3:14we brought this up earlier this week,
- 3:15it's one of my,
- 3:16it's my favorite graph of the week.
- 3:18It is a comparison of the GDP
- 3:20per capita
- 3:21from 1931 to 2022 between two countries,
- 3:24Venezuela
- 3:25and Poland,
- 3:25and what you see here is
- 3:27when you know
- 3:28communism existed in Poland.
- 3:30It is well behind
- 3:33what we saw
- 3:34in Venezuela.
- 3:35Venezuela is kicking its butt basically for many,
- 3:38many,
- 3:38many,
- 3:38many,
- 3:38many,
- 3:38many years until you'll notice
- 3:41the Berlin Wall falls and communism,
- 3:44the Soviet Union falls,
- 3:46and Poland says,
- 3:47OK,
- 3:47we're done with the communism thing.
- 3:48Let's try something else.
- 3:50They move toward capitalism
- 3:52and you see the GDP of the country skyrocket.
- 3:54About $7000 up to $35,000 and yes,
- 3:59of course these are inflation adjusted.
- 4:01We don't screw around on this program with that sort of nonsense.
- 4:04On the other hand,
- 4:05look at the Venezuela chart.
- 4:06It's much higher than Poland.
- 4:07It goes about flat in the 1980 and kind of like mulls along there.
- 4:12And then
- 4:13Hugo Chavez comes into power
- 4:16and you see it tank from about $20,000 of.
- 4:20To about $4000 of GDP.
- 4:23By the way,
- 4:23that little bump at the very,
- 4:25very end,
- 4:25if you zoom way in on the Venezuelan line with your eyeballs,
- 4:28what you will see is a little tiny
- 4:30turnaround at the very,
- 4:31very end,
- 4:32and that's when they got rid of some,
- 4:34a very small percentage,
- 4:35but a small percentage of some of the socialist nonsense they were attempting.
- 4:38And now we're saying,
- 4:39hey,
- 4:39let's bring that approach
- 4:41right to the financial capital
- 4:43of the world.
- 4:44How's that going to work out for everybody?
- 4:46Mamdani is making Democrats' communist fantasies
- 4:49come true,
- 4:50and that is exactly what is happening
- 4:52uh in New York.
- 4:54That was one of the things about that speech.
- 4:56I could have honestly just played you clip
- 4:57after clip after clip of that particular speech.
- 5:00I wanted to expand it a little bit on Mamdani since that was a little while ago,
- 5:03but he was talking also about like,
- 5:05hey,
- 5:05I ran
- 5:06as a democratic socialist.
- 5:08I'm going to govern
- 5:09as a democratic socialist.
- 5:11And
- 5:12a lot of times you see,
- 5:13you know,
- 5:14because when you take out the results of socialism,
- 5:17to some,
- 5:18it can appear like a feel-good program,
- 5:19right?
- 5:20We want to make sure everybody's equal,
- 5:21we want to make sure everybody's doing well.
- 5:22We want to make sure
- 5:23it's rich people that are just,
- 5:25they're the bad guys,
- 5:26we get rid of them.
- 5:27Bring in the good guys,
- 5:28the,
- 5:28the,
- 5:28the normal people like you,
- 5:30you're everything's gonna be great,
- 5:31working class,
- 5:31working class,
- 5:32workers of the world unite.
- 5:34These slogans worked on people for a reason,
- 5:37right?
- 5:37Because they do feel
- 5:39warm.
- 5:40We know what the results are,
- 5:41of course,
- 5:42but usually what happens
- 5:44when someone in the United States gets into office,
- 5:47even if they ran on some of that feel-good nonsense,
- 5:49at the end of the day they make it clear,
- 5:51like in reality,
- 5:52I'm going to,
- 5:54uh,
- 5:54you know,
- 5:54I'm sure we're going to be a little bit left,
- 5:55but we're not going to govern like socialists,
- 5:57obviously.
- 5:58That's not what Zohra Mamdani is saying.
- 6:00We'll see what the results are,
- 6:02but I think as you see his staff come into play,
- 6:06you sort of understand the types of things he might be planning
- 6:09to do.
- 6:10I would say
- 6:12to you
- 6:12is probably the best thing,
- 6:14not for you,
- 6:14but to you.
- 6:15What is he going to do to you?
- 6:17Um,
- 6:17let me give you,
- 6:18and this is a very strange development in the Mamdani campaign.
- 6:21I don't fully understand it.
- 6:23But he would sign up staffers
- 6:25and instead of,
- 6:26I mean,
- 6:26normally what you do with a staffer,
- 6:28most campaigns,
- 6:29you don't even know about it,
- 6:29right?
- 6:30These are people that interact with the media,
- 6:31they interact with,
- 6:33you know,
- 6:33certain programs.
- 6:34They,
- 6:34they have
- 6:35low level jobs,
- 6:36some medium level jobs,
- 6:37some high level jobs,
- 6:38but they're not like public facing all that often.
- 6:40Um,
- 6:41but what Mamdani did is,
- 6:42every time he
- 6:44time you hire somebody,
- 6:45you just put out like baseball cards for them.
- 6:47It looks like a signing ceremony,
- 6:48like you just signed a new center fielder.
- 6:50Um,
- 6:51Almonte Da Costa with a signature with her signature below it,
- 6:54and she's sitting there,
- 6:55and Mom Donnie with this just
- 6:58goofy smile
- 6:59there,
- 7:00and,
- 7:00uh,
- 7:00she's from Queens,
- 7:01by the way.
- 7:02They put the little jersey next to her.
- 7:04Anyway,
- 7:04um,
- 7:05what do you need to know about,
- 7:06uh,
- 7:06Almonte De Costa?
- 7:07Well,
- 7:08some interesting things.
- 7:09Think you might be interested,
- 7:10particularly if you happen to be a Jew.
- 7:13Um,
- 7:13uh,
- 7:13because,
- 7:14uh,
- 7:14you might have noticed Mamdani,
- 7:16not really a fan of the Jews,
- 7:17kind of a more pro-Hamas guy.
- 7:20His picture was taken with a Hamas jersey
- 7:22next to him.
- 7:22That's a totally different story.
- 7:24Um,
- 7:24but here is,
- 7:25uh,
- 7:25this one,
- 7:26she tweeted this back in 2011,
- 7:29money hungry Jews,
- 7:31shaking my head.
- 7:33Can you believe these money hungry Jews?
- 7:35Obviously.
- 7:36Basically at the top of her LinkedIn.
- 7:38If you're trying to get hired by Zoran Mamdani,
- 7:40she also tweeted this,
- 7:41woo,
- 7:42promoted to the upstairs office today,
- 7:44working alongside these rich Jewish peeps.
- 7:49How could you not hire her after all of this?
- 7:52Then you've got this,
- 7:53for so long,
- 7:54power has been in the hands of men
- 7:56and or white people,
- 7:58it has brought us
- 8:00ruin.
- 8:02I have my problems
- 8:03with the United States of America.
- 8:05There's a lot of things that happen in this country that I don't appreciate.
- 8:08However,
- 8:08I would not describe it as
- 8:10ruin.
- 8:11You know why?
- 8:12Because I'm an American.
- 8:13First of all,
- 8:14I'm proud of the country.
- 8:14I actually think it's the best country that's ever been created.
- 8:17I think the results in this country are better
- 8:19than any country that has ever been created.
- 8:22That doesn't mean I'm I'm happy with everything,
- 8:24but I certainly would not describe it
- 8:26as ruinous.
- 8:28But I guess if your goal is to make people who are male and white
- 8:33have horrible lives,
- 8:34I suppose in theory you could see it that way.
- 8:37Also,
- 8:38she tweeted this,
- 8:39this is 2016.
- 8:40A harsh,
- 8:41this was a harsh blow,
- 8:42but it's not the first time this country has let me down.
- 8:44It's important that white people feel defeated.
- 8:51I,
- 8:51I make this point often,
- 8:52and I think it's an important one.
- 8:54It's really important that's not for you,
- 8:57because most likely you're a conservative or a libertarian or
- 9:00just a constitutionalist and you're sitting around here thinking like,
- 9:02I see the world somewhat similar.
- 9:04I see some of the,
- 9:05you might disagree with me on a bunch of stuff,
- 9:07but that's fine.
- 9:08Um,
- 9:08but you probably aren't a hardcore leftist,
- 9:11um.
- 9:13But I,
- 9:13I make this point to leftists all the time,
- 9:16which is,
- 9:17if you're worried about whether maybe you're making a racist point yourself,
- 9:20change the colors.
- 9:22I mean,
- 9:22like,
- 9:22read these tweets
- 9:24the other way around.
- 9:26Uh,
- 9:26it's important that black people feel defeated.
- 9:30Would you be comfortable saying that out loud?
- 9:32Does it feel racist to you if someone did say that?
- 9:35If a white official who worked for Donald Trump
- 9:37said it's important that black people feel defeated,
- 9:40would you feel good about that?
- 9:42Would you think they were a racist?
- 9:44My guess is that you would.
- 9:47And we got another new baseball card here for you.
- 9:50Uh,
- 9:50I don't know.
- 9:51I've never seen the name CEA.
- 9:53It seems like more of a government agency.
- 9:55Uh,
- 9:55but,
- 9:55uh,
- 9:56CEA,
- 9:57maybe?
- 9:58Alright,
- 9:58you know what,
- 9:58I'm just gonna,
- 9:59how about Chey?
- 10:00Let's just call her Chey Weaver.
- 10:02Chey Weaver is the new baseball card here.
- 10:05She's from Brooklyn.
- 10:06She's got,
- 10:07it's weird.
- 10:07Momtani has the exact same smile.
- 10:09It's almost like it's kind of not,
- 10:11it's sort of disingenuous because he's doing it all the time,
- 10:13no matter what he's saying,
- 10:14but that was the,
- 10:16that was the tool
- 10:17to get you to vote for him.
- 10:18He was trying to fool you into believing he was just a smiley guy,
- 10:22and what could he possibly do?
- 10:23How could he harm you at all?
- 10:25He's just smiley.
- 10:26Well,
- 10:26Chey doesn't think.
- 10:28Chey,
- 10:28uh,
- 10:29doesn't think that uh you're going to be harmed.
- 10:31Uh,
- 10:31Chey is uh very much on board with all of the Mom Donny proposals,
- 10:35why she has this big high profile gig with her own baseball card.
- 10:39Uh,
- 10:39and,
- 10:39uh,
- 10:40she has some interesting tweets in her past as well,
- 10:42from 2019,
- 10:432019,
- 10:44not 1984,
- 10:46but
- 10:472019.
- 10:48Um,
- 10:48Private property,
- 10:49including
- 10:50and kind of especially
- 10:52home ownership,
- 10:53is a weapon of white supremacy
- 10:56masquerading as wealth building public policy.
- 11:01Owning a home.
- 11:04Is white supremacy
- 11:06These are the sorts of people
- 11:08that
- 11:08Zoran Mamdani has,
- 11:10has been able to search out
- 11:12in our public.
- 11:13People who believe crazy nonsense.
- 11:17Put him right into power,
- 11:18right?
- 11:18This is the type of thing that he,
- 11:19you know,
- 11:20you put right on your resume if you happen to be someone who wants to be hired,
- 11:23or you want to get hired by Zoran Mamdani.
- 11:25Chey,
- 11:26our good friend Chey Weaver,
- 11:27also in 2018 tweeted this,
- 11:29impoverish.
- 11:31The white middle class.
- 11:32Is poverty good?
- 11:34Impoverish
- 11:35the white middle class.
- 11:37Home ownership is racist,
- 11:39a failed public policy.
- 11:40And I want to focus a little bit more on the front of that because
- 11:43the second half is kind of the same thing she said earlier,
- 11:45but impoverish the white
- 11:47middle class.
- 11:48Sure,
- 11:49you can focus on white,
- 11:50and we know you can focus on white because
- 11:53Shay Weaver herself focused.
- 11:55Focus on white by putting
- 11:57little asterisks,
- 11:57little stars around the word white.
- 11:59In other words,
- 12:00saying,
- 12:00focus on this word.
- 12:03Uh,
- 12:03really put the emphasis on white.
- 12:05She wanted you to focus
- 12:06on white,
- 12:07but
- 12:08I want you to focus on something else,
- 12:10because it's really easy for us all to sit back and say,
- 12:13hey,
- 12:14Elon Musk,
- 12:15let's take his money.
- 12:17Hey,
- 12:18Peter Thiel,
- 12:18let's take his money.
- 12:20He's too rich.
- 12:20Donald Trump,
- 12:21he's a rich guy,
- 12:22let's take all of his money as well.
- 12:24It tests really darn well
- 12:26when you have a little class warfare
- 12:28attached to your policy and you say those evil rich people,
- 12:31they have boats and they have planes and they have big.
- 12:344 bedroom,
- 12:355 bedroom apartments in New York City and skyscrapers,
- 12:38and they're bad,
- 12:39and I don't like them,
- 12:40and we should take their things because you deserve their things more
- 12:43than they do.
- 12:44That's really easy.
- 12:45By the way,
- 12:46that's awful.
- 12:47If you have that feeling,
- 12:49you're terrible,
- 12:50OK?
- 12:51Peter Thiel and and Elon Musk earned their money,
- 12:54it's theirs,
- 12:55it's not yours to take.
- 12:58Even if you think,
- 12:59but I want it really bad,
- 13:01I know that feels like an argument to you,
- 13:04uh,
- 13:04on the left,
- 13:04but it's not.
- 13:05It's not a good point.
- 13:07It's their money,
- 13:08whether they have 1234 commas in their net worth.
- 13:12It doesn't matter.
- 13:14You don't get any of it.
- 13:16OK.
- 13:17But that doesn't test that well,
- 13:18to be honest with you,
- 13:19my opinion on that.
- 13:20Uh,
- 13:20that,
- 13:20uh,
- 13:21you know,
- 13:21when people,
- 13:21when I,
- 13:22when you say billionaires are good,
- 13:23a lot of people just don't like that sort of talk.
- 13:26But that's why I want you to focus on that tweet one more time,
- 13:28not on what she wanted you to look at,
- 13:30which was white.
- 13:31Obviously we can all agree,
- 13:32white people should be punished.
- 13:34That's the only way we should run a society,
- 13:36on skin color.
- 13:38Great idea.
- 13:38It's been tried before,
- 13:39by the way,
- 13:40it didn't work out all that well,
- 13:41but let's not look at that.
- 13:42What I want you to look at in that tweet is not the word white,
- 13:44but the word middle.
- 13:46This isn't about billionaires,
- 13:48it's not about the upper class,
- 13:50it's not about your rich neighbor that has a nicer McMansion than you.
- 13:54She's talking about the middle class.
- 13:57She wants people,
- 13:59the working class of this country,
- 14:01to be impoverished.
- 14:04And Zoran Mamdani's like,
- 14:06sign her up.
- 14:08How do I get her in this this organization as fast as possible?
- 14:11And by the way,
- 14:12let me look back at her baseball card here.
- 14:13Her job,
- 14:14executive director of the mayor's office to protect tenants.
- 14:19Now I guess in some ways you would say
- 14:22at least she's not dealing with homeowners directly.
- 14:25Of course she is dealing with landlords directly
- 14:28and property owners directly
- 14:30by punishing them.
- 14:31But I guess she's only dealing with tenants as far as her title goes.
- 14:35Uh,
- 14:35we also have this wonderful,
- 14:37if you didn't think the tweets were enough,
- 14:38here she is explaining in detail what she wants done
- 14:42to you evil white homeowners in this country.
- 14:46I think the reality is,
- 14:48is that for centuries we've really treated,
- 14:51um,
- 14:52property as an individualized good and not a collective good.
- 14:55And we are gonna ran and transitioning to treating it as,
- 14:59um,
- 15:00A collective good and towards a model of shared equity
- 15:04will require that we think about it differently.
- 15:07And it will mean that,
- 15:08um,
- 15:09families,
- 15:10especially white families,
- 15:11but some POC families who are homeowners as well,
- 15:14um,
- 15:15are gonna have
- 15:17a different relationship to property than,
- 15:18than,
- 15:19than the one that we currently have.
- 15:21You know that thing that you bought.
- 15:23And you raised your kids in,
- 15:25you built the white picket fence around,
- 15:28she just shoulder shrugged that for you.
- 15:30Ah,
- 15:31some,
- 15:31uh,
- 15:32white people,
- 15:32people of color,
- 15:33whoever's owning a home,
- 15:34uh,
- 15:34whatever,
- 15:35they're not gonna be able to do that anymore because we're gonna require you
- 15:37to think about it differently.
- 15:40That's the world we're living in right now,
- 15:42as if this stuff hasn't been tried.
- 15:45It's absolutely incredible.
- 15:46By the way,
- 15:47I have a good first target for your white homeowners that you want to,
- 15:50you know,
- 15:51go after and take their property away.
- 15:53How about mommy?
- 15:55The mom of this particular woman.
- 15:58Uh,
- 15:58Chey Weaver,
- 16:00she said,
- 16:01uh,
- 16:01of course,
- 16:01homing,
- 16:02uh,
- 16:02owning a home fuels white supremacy.
- 16:04Uh,
- 16:04she has a $1.6 million dollar house in Tennessee.
- 16:08Is that OK?
- 16:10Does mommy get to keep her house?
- 16:13Usually that's the way that works,
- 16:14by the way,
- 16:15but
- 16:15also I could also see a situation where she hates her mom.
- 16:18Couldn't you?
- 16:18Couldn't you just see a situation where she hates her white mum?
- 16:22Anyway,
- 16:23if you were worried that this is just a couple of people,
- 16:25well,
- 16:25sure they've got jobs that are somewhat influential in this administration,
- 16:29but maybe Zolan Mamdani doesn't think that way.
- 16:32Just in case you were worried,
- 16:33here's his actual policy.
- 16:34He wants to shift the tax burden from overtaxed homeowners
- 16:38in the outer boroughs to more expensive homes in richer
- 16:41and whiter
- 16:42neighborhoods.
- 16:43Again,
- 16:43I ask you to change the color in that sentence.
- 16:45Would you feel comfortable saying
- 16:46you wanted to
- 16:48change,
- 16:49shift the tax burden to blacker neighborhoods?
- 16:52Would that be OK?
- 16:54Zoran,
- 16:55would that be OK?
- 16:57At least Zoran wants to let people
- 16:59have their,
- 17:00they can keep their houses,
- 17:00we just have to tax them out of them eventually.
- 17:03By the way,
- 17:03he's got other idiotic policies in case you've missed some of them.
- 17:06His World Cup DEI promise,
- 17:08this is the latest nonsense out of this idiot's mouth,
- 17:11as his out kick writes.
- 17:13Uh,
- 17:13here is him,
- 17:14uh,
- 17:14here is,
- 17:14uh,
- 17:14his mom Donnie talking about
- 17:16the tickets
- 17:17to go watch soccer.
- 17:20What we are seeing,
- 17:21you know,
- 17:21I had a New Yorker the other day come up to me and ask me
- 17:24if there was any way I could help him get World Cup tickets,
- 17:26because he was saying that the cost that he saw for a game was $600
- 17:30right,
- 17:30this is
- 17:31increasingly out of reach.
- 17:32We have made
- 17:33what used to be a working class game into a luxury experience,
- 17:37and there are too many for whom it doesn't matter
- 17:39where the World Cup is being played in the world,
- 17:41they know where they're going to watch it,
- 17:43it's TV,
- 17:44and we want to ensure that there are more
- 17:45experiences available to each and every New Yorker.
- 17:48Imagine you can't,
- 17:49you have to watch a soccer match on TV.
- 17:51You can't go.
- 17:51That's because it costs too much.
- 17:53Well,
- 17:53yeah,
- 17:53that's,
- 17:54yeah,
- 17:55events do cost a lot sometimes.
- 17:56You could watch,
- 17:57by the way,
- 17:58tons of soccer for free.
- 17:59You just don't get to watch the World Cup
- 18:01for free.
- 18:01You can go walk around to parks all over America.
- 18:03They're playing soccer.
- 18:04Uh,
- 18:05unfortunately,
- 18:05by the way,
- 18:06because it's been the downfall of our civilization.
- 18:08By the way,
- 18:08people.
- 18:11We're in ruins.
- 18:12Too much soccer.
- 18:14Uh,
- 18:15readers added context to the video,
- 18:16by the way,
- 18:17uh,
- 18:17with a community note on X.
- 18:19Apart from the fact that the mayor has no influence over FIFA pricing policy,
- 18:23there are no games in New York City.
- 18:26The New York,
- 18:26New Jersey stadium is in East Rutherford,
- 18:28New Jersey,
- 18:29so.
- 18:30He's an idiot on top of being an idiot.
- 18:32Um,
- 18:33also,
- 18:33if you were wondering,
- 18:34remember the woman that he hired
- 18:36who was like,
- 18:37hey,
- 18:37I don't like Jews.
- 18:38Remember that woman?
- 18:39Well,
- 18:39you,
- 18:40you won't be surprised that one of the first things that of
- 18:42course Mamdani did was revoke Israel-related executive orders signed by Adams.
- 18:47Uh,
- 18:47this is one of the revoked orders blocks
- 18:49all city agencies from divesting from Israel.
- 18:52And the other expanded the definition of anti-Semitism
- 18:55to match the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition,
- 18:59which classifies some criticism of Israel as anti-Semitic.
- 19:02Mamdani defended his orders,
- 19:04telling reporters that some Jewish organizations
- 19:06in the city also shared his concerns
- 19:08with the expanded definition
- 19:09of
- 19:10the term.
- 19:12It's one time he likes Jews when they agree with him.
- 19:14Every other time,
- 19:15eh,
- 19:15whatever.
- 19:16Whatever happens to them happens to them.
- 19:18Of course this is all,
- 19:19there's anti-Semitic policies,
- 19:21there are horrible,
- 19:23you know,
- 19:25just generalized domestic policies he's implementing,
- 19:27and of course the economic ones.
- 19:29When you come to when you're talking about communism
- 19:32and socialism,
- 19:32it is very,
- 19:33very
- 19:34key to economics,
- 19:35and we're now seeing this happen in California,
- 19:38and I wouldn't be surprised to see some of this coming the way of New Yorkers as well,
- 19:42the billionaire peril or the political peril of the California billionaire
- 19:46tax.
- 19:47is trying to do is
- 19:48tax your wealth.
- 19:49If you're a billionaire,
- 19:50they're just going to take 5% of your wealth,
- 19:53uh,
- 19:53and of course all the billionaires before this happens,
- 19:56obviously will flee the state.
- 19:57They're not going to give 5% for no reason to the state.
- 20:00If they get a dollar out of that,
- 20:01I'll be surprised,
- 20:02frankly,
- 20:03if it,
- 20:04if it passes.
- 20:05But these are the types of policies
- 20:06that
- 20:08Zorad Mamdani
- 20:09wants to implement.
- 20:10And you know,
- 20:11again.
- 20:12We're all disappointed in the idea of Zorai Mamdani becoming mayor of New York City.
- 20:16It's a really bad thing for the country.
- 20:17Now,
- 20:17of course,
- 20:18the second place guy was Andrew Cuomo,
- 20:20who is awful.
- 20:21You may have heard this,
- 20:22Andrew Cuomo is awful.
- 20:24Dot com.
- 20:25You may know that,
- 20:27uh,
- 20:28they,
- 20:28there were no good options,
- 20:29at least not ones that were considered by New Yorkers.
- 20:33The point of this though,
- 20:34the one good thing that comes out of
- 20:35Zoran Mamdani winning is that we can remind people
- 20:38all the time
- 20:39that this is what the left is.
- 20:41At its core,
- 20:42the left
- 20:43is
- 20:44Zoran Mamdani.
- 20:45There are people on the left who will try to do the same things.
- 20:50At a slower pace
- 20:51than Zoran Mamdani,
- 20:53there are plenty of people on the left who will not actually publicly tweet
- 20:58the fact that they want white people to be impoverished
- 21:01and they want Jews to go away.
- 21:03There are plenty of people on the left
- 21:05who will tell you those things,
- 21:07but in reality,
- 21:11So many of them believe
- 21:13those ideas.
- 21:14They just don't tweet them.
- 21:16They just don't spit them out like Zoran Mamdani does.
- 21:19So watching him attempt this
- 21:22giant experiment in the city is going to be a fascinating thing
- 21:27to observe.
- 21:27Alright,
- 21:28we have Glenn Beck
- 21:29in the bullpen,
- 21:30ready to go.
- 21:31We'll bring him in
- 21:32next.
- 21:43Most days
- 21:44don't really slow down on their own anymore.
- 21:46Have you noticed this?
- 21:47They sort of just roll straight from one obligation to the next,
- 21:51and if you don't deliberately claim a pause,
- 21:53it's never gonna happen.
- 21:55That's the space Kindred Harvest is meant to fill,
- 21:57not as an escape
- 21:59per se,
- 21:59but
- 22:00as a reset,
- 22:01that you can actually fit into real life.
- 22:03Kindred Harvest starts with ingredients that don't need explaining,
- 22:06whole tea leaves,
- 22:07herbs,
- 22:08roots,
- 22:09and flowers that look like.
- 22:10What they are,
- 22:12they taste the way that they should.
- 22:14They don't rely on shortcuts and artificial stuff to get in there.
- 22:17Now you can see the quality before you even see the water hitting the cup,
- 22:21and you know,
- 22:22of course you can feel and taste the difference once
- 22:24it does.
- 22:25What I appreciate about is how intentional they are with all of this stuff.
- 22:28The blends they have are designed to be clean and straightforward
- 22:32without unnecessary processing,
- 22:33and even the tea bags themselves are
- 22:35made from plant-based material instead of plastic.
- 22:38So
- 22:38what you're drinking stays exactly what it's supposed to be.
- 22:41Nothing extra,
- 22:41nothing hidden.
- 22:42Choose American Quality.
- 22:44Choose Kindred Harvest.
- 22:45They're cultivating goodness
- 22:47daily.
- 22:47Go to kindredharvest.co.
- 22:49Kindredharvest.co.
- 22:51Use the code stew for 20% off right now.
- 22:54Let the world calm down a little bit with Kindred Harvest.
- 22:56It's kindredharvest.co and the promo code is
- 22:59stew.
- 23:02Joined now by Glenn Beck,
- 23:04the man behind the torch.
- 23:06Yes,
- 23:07you can access this
- 23:08absolutely free right now,
- 23:09uh,
- 23:09at the end of the month at Glenn Beck.com.
- 23:11We'll talk more about this as we go through.
- 23:13Glenn,
- 23:13thanks so much for coming on.
- 23:14Thank you,
- 23:15Stu.
- 23:15Yeah,
- 23:15well,
- 23:16uh,
- 23:16so let's,
- 23:17I want to talk about the torch.
- 23:17I wanna,
- 23:18I wanna go through all of this,
- 23:19um.
- 23:21So let's start though with the Blaze.
- 23:22You're still on the Blaze.
- 23:23Yeah.
- 23:24You're still on the Blaze,
- 23:25like for Blaze TV subscribers,
- 23:26this is the Blaze.
- 23:27OK,
- 23:27good.
- 23:27For subscribers I watched a radio show.
- 23:29You're there.
- 23:30You're getting the same stuff that you're getting,
- 23:32so that's all there.
- 23:33And then in addition,
- 23:35we've got the torch.
- 23:35This is a totally new thing you've developed.
- 23:38Before we get into
- 23:39what it is,
- 23:40give,
- 23:40give me why you're doing it.
- 23:41So,
- 23:42um,
- 23:43I'm not doing the Wednesday night show anymore.
- 23:45I'm still doing the,
- 23:46you know,
- 23:47interview podcast and I think that's still on Blaze,
- 23:50um,
- 23:51but
- 23:51uh.
- 23:53You know,
- 23:53I sold the blaze,
- 23:54I don't know,
- 23:55a few years ago because
- 23:56I'm not a good businessman.
- 23:58No way.
- 23:58Yeah,
- 23:59no,
- 23:59it's,
- 23:59I'm gonna admit that.
- 24:00Um,
- 24:01but,
- 24:02uh,
- 24:02uh,
- 24:03and so
- 24:04I wanted to do certain things,
- 24:05but.
- 24:07There were so many commitments that I had to do
- 24:10every day.
- 24:10I'm probably giving too much information here,
- 24:12but I just wanna be honest.
- 24:13I,
- 24:14there were too many commitments I had to do every day,
- 24:17and I didn't wanna do that anymore because
- 24:18there are things that I'm passionate about,
- 24:20you know me,
- 24:20I have an attention span of a goldfish,
- 24:22and so there are things that I'm really passionate
- 24:24about and I wanna do them right now.
- 24:27But the system was like,
- 24:28OK,
- 24:29you'll have to do that in 3 weeks,
- 24:30and then by 3 weeks comes I'm not interested anymore,
- 24:33you know,
- 24:33I've never,
- 24:34never dealt with any of those issues.
- 24:36So there are things that I want to do and
- 24:39technology
- 24:40is so important,
- 24:41education is so important
- 24:43that
- 24:44I wanted just to focus on what
- 24:46I really felt passionate about all the time when I was passionate about it.
- 24:52Put it out at my pace
- 24:54um and focus on AI and technology and education and history
- 25:00um and you know me,
- 25:00I've been saying this for 3 or 4 years I'm like I.
- 25:04There was a change in me and I'm like I,
- 25:07I don't,
- 25:07I'm,
- 25:08I'm not,
- 25:08we're,
- 25:09I'm not in the right place.
- 25:10Remember me saying I'm just,
- 25:11I'm not,
- 25:12I'm not,
- 25:12I'm not
- 25:13doing what I'm,
- 25:14I don't know what's wrong with me,
- 25:15but I'm not in the right place.
- 25:17And that happens to me,
- 25:18you know,
- 25:18about every people through that.
- 25:19People usually go out and buy convertibles in these moments,
- 25:22uh,
- 25:22but you're starting a brand new thing.
- 25:23I just torch my whole career and say,
- 25:25let's start over.
- 25:27Um,
- 25:27but so
- 25:28because
- 25:29this is,
- 25:29they're deep dives here,
- 25:30which is,
- 25:31is an interesting thing.
- 25:32Like,
- 25:32so if you have,
- 25:33you can add on,
- 25:34uh,
- 25:35you know,
- 25:35the,
- 25:35the torch.
- 25:36You go to Glenn Beck.com,
- 25:37right?
- 25:37And,
- 25:37and right now it's totally free for the whole month,
- 25:39for a whole month.
- 25:39So you can check out all the stuff that's there.
- 25:41There's a bunch of different features.
- 25:43Give me ideas of the types of content you want,
- 25:44you wanna do here.
- 25:46I'm going to,
- 25:48um,
- 25:48South Korea,
- 25:49um,
- 25:51hopefully in the next 3 or 4 months.
- 25:53Um,
- 25:53does it have to do with content or it's just a vacation?
- 25:57You can't believe.
- 25:58The prostitutes you can get in South Korea.
- 26:01No,
- 26:02no,
- 26:02I'm,
- 26:03uh,
- 26:04Reverend Sun is in prison
- 26:07and,
- 26:08and what's happening,
- 26:09nobody is paying attention to South Korea.
- 26:11We're about to lose South Korea.
- 26:13That
- 26:14would be horrible for the world,
- 26:16horrible,
- 26:17and I think,
- 26:17I think it's a possibility in the next 3 years.
- 26:20Um,
- 26:21and this is something too that,
- 26:22uh,
- 26:22Charlie Kirk was big on right before he died,
- 26:25right?
- 26:26This was a big he promised like he was there 2
- 26:28days before he died or had just talked to Reverend Soon
- 26:322 days before he died and said
- 26:34if they throw you in prison,
- 26:35I will be there
- 26:37and,
- 26:37um,
- 26:38South Korea,
- 26:39I've talked to the family and they know
- 26:41if no,
- 26:42if America's not paying attention,
- 26:43it's just gonna get worse
- 26:45and nobody is paying attention to it.
- 26:47So things like that,
- 26:49but also we just released something today on capital controls.
- 26:54Let me explain.
- 26:56I grew up
- 26:58Doing
- 26:59broadcasting.
- 27:01Broadcast just seems like a word.
- 27:03It actually means something.
- 27:04It means broad,
- 27:05a huge audience,
- 27:07OK?
- 27:08So
- 27:09you always had to,
- 27:10I started in top 40 radio.
- 27:11You have to play the hits whether you like it or not.
- 27:14You play the hits and you play them in the way,
- 27:17knowing,
- 27:17you know,
- 27:17listen to top 40 radio.
- 27:19You play them over and over again because you're hitting this
- 27:21huge audience that is only there for a few minutes,
- 27:24OK?
- 27:25When we were at Fox,
- 27:26most people did not,
- 27:28my show was different.
- 27:30People would watch 3 out of 5 shows a week,
- 27:32OK?
- 27:33Most shows you watch 1 out of every 5 or 7,
- 27:38OK?
- 27:39So you have to hit things over and over again and you have to be
- 27:43broad.
- 27:44You have to hit a lot of things in about that deep,
- 27:46OK?
- 27:48Now
- 27:49podcasting has become narrowcast,
- 27:52and that's why we're split in so many different categories.
- 27:55There's people who are experts on everything.
- 27:58I want to be able to still I have to for radio,
- 28:01my podcast everyday podcast it's seen on Blaze and
- 28:05also in a different way on Glenn Beck.com,
- 28:08um,
- 28:08that is a broadcast we will hit
- 28:11all of the biggest topics and we will go as deep as we can in the time allowed.
- 28:17I want to take those topics now and go much deeper
- 28:21so we're gonna go
- 28:23narrow on the things that we that I am interested in
- 28:26that I think are important and that the audience is asking for
- 28:31and then we'll help you become an expert on that topic
- 28:35and we'll go as deep as we possibly can
- 28:38so I can tell you
- 28:39like today.
- 28:41Capital controls,
- 28:42you know,
- 28:42hey,
- 28:43there's some things that are gonna be happening and
- 28:46one kind of capital control,
- 28:47it's not technically a capital control,
- 28:49but so you can understand it,
- 28:51what Mamdani is saying
- 28:53up in New York about,
- 28:54you know,
- 28:54hey,
- 28:55you're gonna have a different relationship
- 28:57depending on your color
- 28:58with property.
- 28:59What?
- 29:01What he's saying is
- 29:03because of who you are,
- 29:04you won't be able to spend your money the way you want to spend your money.
- 29:09The government will tell you how to spend the money,
- 29:11OK?
- 29:12When
- 29:13countries spend themselves into oblivion or you start to have,
- 29:18you start to have serious financial problems.
- 29:22Capital controls come in and that's the government trapping money
- 29:27into
- 29:28the country.
- 29:29You're seeing this in California you're gonna see it in New York.
- 29:32They're gonna start.
- 29:33California is now putting a wealth tax on
- 29:36that even if you move from California,
- 29:39you're still gonna have to pay taxes
- 29:41in California.
- 29:42I'm not living in the state anymore.
- 29:43I chose to get out.
- 29:44mm.
- 29:45Capital controls,
- 29:46OK,
- 29:47that's trapping the money because the state knows it's collapsing.
- 29:52So
- 29:53we show all of this and it's a 30 minute deep dive
- 29:56just on that,
- 29:57what you need to watch for because it'll,
- 29:59it'll be said and we show you exactly how the hosts are gonna say it on TV
- 30:04and it'll go right over your head.
- 30:06But if you start hearing them,
- 30:08you have to be prepared.
- 30:09So
- 30:10we show you
- 30:11what the odds are,
- 30:12what the words are,
- 30:13what the odds are,
- 30:14and then how to prepare.
- 30:16I hope you're not promoting the frigidity of uh of
- 30:20of rugged individualism.
- 30:21No,
- 30:22the warmth of collectivism.
- 30:24We're gonna make a blanket,
- 30:25warmth of collectivism blanket.
- 30:28Um,
- 30:29uh,
- 30:29so it's not,
- 30:29uh,
- 30:30just,
- 30:31it's,
- 30:31but they're shows,
- 30:32they're like documentaries.
- 30:34I'm not building a network,
- 30:35so it's not like this,
- 30:37you know,
- 30:37I don't have shows like
- 30:38you,
- 30:39um,
- 30:40so I'm not,
- 30:41I'm not competing there.
- 30:42It's,
- 30:43it's,
- 30:43um,
- 30:44documentaries.
- 30:45It is,
- 30:46um,
- 30:48some AI,
- 30:49uh,
- 30:50for George AI and Glenn AI give you short little 10 minute
- 30:53documentaries every day.
- 30:54Today I think is on Greenland.
- 30:56And I actually did the writing on that one with the AI,
- 31:00um,
- 31:00but I just,
- 31:01there are things I don't have time to go into a studio and record,
- 31:05so
- 31:05AI
- 31:06does that for us,
- 31:07but
- 31:08we write it all,
- 31:09um,
- 31:10based on this proprietary library that we have
- 31:13of,
- 31:15I think we have all 30 years now in of.
- 31:18Of
- 31:18every show I've done on talk radio,
- 31:21every speech I've given,
- 31:22every book I've given,
- 31:23every word I've said in the last 30 years online or on TV,
- 31:28on radio,
- 31:30it's all in this library,
- 31:31so we can ask it.
- 31:33Tell me about George.
- 31:34Do 15 minutes on
- 31:36George Soros and how he,
- 31:39his business really works,
- 31:41and it takes all of that.
- 31:42It's like me but with a photographic memory,
- 31:45and it can assemble it into a 10 minute.
- 31:47You definitely do not have.
- 31:50But that,
- 31:51uh,
- 31:51first of all,
- 31:51this sounds cheap.
- 31:53Uh,
- 31:54well,
- 31:54you know me.
- 31:55Yes,
- 31:55yes.
- 31:56Um,
- 31:56so in,
- 31:57in this is interesting because it's with both Glenn AI and George AI.
- 32:02They're sort of cordoned off from the world,
- 32:04right?
- 32:04Like the George AI,
- 32:05for example,
- 32:06you've put in just these historical documents,
- 32:08some of which
- 32:10no one else has access to.
- 32:11I'm going over to the library right now to give them.
- 32:16About
- 32:19Uh,
- 32:19Probably
- 32:2125,000 pages fine print
- 32:24of just the letters that George Washington wrote.
- 32:28So
- 32:28every word that he ever wrote from 1771
- 32:35to like 1789.
- 32:38Every word he ever wrote
- 32:40that's going in there,
- 32:41but what's not going in there is anything about Donald Trump,
- 32:45anything about me.
- 32:46We did something on
- 32:48Venezuela on Monday.
- 32:51And we had to tell it and we coordinate we,
- 32:53we put,
- 32:54you know,
- 32:55electric fence around this
- 32:56so we can get it to relate to what we're trying to talk about.
- 33:01We will,
- 33:01we had to teach it what Iran is,
- 33:03what Venezuela is,
- 33:04what all of these things are,
- 33:06and then what we did
- 33:08and then said,
- 33:09is there any example from your time period and how should we view this?
- 33:14Is how would the founders view this?
- 33:17And it was fascinating to watch,
- 33:19but it does not have any current
- 33:22information.
- 33:22It's only,
- 33:23it's only allowed
- 33:25to go in and look at what
- 33:27it has
- 33:28memorized from that day.
- 33:30It's like from their time.
- 33:31I mean it's as close as we can possibly come to basically asking George Washington,
- 33:35hey,
- 33:36how would you deal with today's world?
- 33:37Correct?
- 33:38And it's,
- 33:38it's funny because you should listen.
- 33:40Yesterday's,
- 33:41I think,
- 33:41was on.
- 33:43Uh,
- 33:43the constitutionality
- 33:45of
- 33:46maybe that was Venezuela,
- 33:47I can't remember,
- 33:48but,
- 33:49uh,
- 33:49I saw some comment that said,
- 33:51uh,
- 33:51you know,
- 33:51Glenn Beck,
- 33:52of course he's got George Washington defending Donald Trump,
- 33:55and I responded,
- 33:56did you listen to it?
- 33:58Because
- 33:59he said
- 34:01these things may
- 34:02be in our national interest.
- 34:04That's for you to decide.
- 34:06That may be in our national interest.
- 34:08But how you do it
- 34:10is more important than national interest.
- 34:14If it violates the constitution
- 34:16in these ways,
- 34:18you cannot do those things.
- 34:22Principles are much more important than.
- 34:26The outcome
- 34:28Um,
- 34:28you're gonna be diving a lot into history,
- 34:30I know,
- 34:31as part of this.
- 34:31There's a history podcast as well available at Glenbeck.com.
- 34:35We're currently writing songs.
- 34:36I'm writing songs now
- 34:37on
- 34:38the,
- 34:40uh,
- 34:40Bill of Rights,
- 34:41almost like a,
- 34:42um.
- 34:44Uh,
- 34:45what was that used to,
- 34:46what was that called,
- 34:47you know,
- 34:47I'm just a bill on Capitol Hill,
- 34:49yeah,
- 34:50um,
- 34:50writing songs right now for youth to teach them the Bill of Rights.
- 34:55I have,
- 34:56I sent them to,
- 34:57uh,
- 34:57Mike Lee,
- 34:58and he's like,
- 34:59what,
- 34:59what
- 35:00did you just send me?
- 35:01And I'm like,
- 35:02I just need you to check the lyrics to make sure.
- 35:04I know it probably doesn't make sense,
- 35:05but I just wanna make sure this is rock solid in your opinion on teaching
- 35:09the Bill of Rights.
- 35:11So I haven't heard back from him yet.
- 35:13He's probably like,
- 35:14what is happening?
- 35:15He was,
- 35:16uh,
- 35:16there's also a fiction podcast,
- 35:18fully produced fiction Days of Ash that I wrote,
- 35:2210 minutes each,
- 35:2310 to 15 minutes each,
- 35:25uh,
- 35:25and it's fiction,
- 35:27uh,
- 35:27it's dystopian,
- 35:28of course.
- 35:29The 1st
- 35:3010 episodes,
- 35:315 are out right now.
- 35:32The 1st 10 episodes
- 35:34of the first season are
- 35:36about how the world breaks down
- 35:38in a financial collapse and it follows one guy.
- 35:41And
- 35:42he just,
- 35:43he's just,
- 35:44it's like a almost like a log,
- 35:46you know,
- 35:46where he's just talking about here's what's happening
- 35:48in our world and blah blah blah,
- 35:49and he describes.
- 35:50Um,
- 35:51the second season is where I think it really is good,
- 35:54um,
- 35:55and I'm in the middle of writing that now,
- 35:56and that is,
- 35:58uh,
- 35:58where.
- 35:59AI has started at the end of the first season.
- 36:02AI is starting to assert itself.
- 36:04Something is starting to coordinate and take control and
- 36:07shut power on and off in certain areas,
- 36:10um,
- 36:10and watch,
- 36:12uh,
- 36:12and,
- 36:13um,
- 36:14and nobody knows who actually is in control.
- 36:16And in the second season.
- 36:18A religious element starts to
- 36:21come into it as well,
- 36:22and it's,
- 36:23it's,
- 36:24it's good.
- 36:24It's gonna be great.
- 36:25There's tons of great stuff.
- 36:26So if you,
- 36:26you know,
- 36:27listen to the show on radio,
- 36:28it's still gonna be on radio.

- 36:38You just go on there free for a month.
- 36:41I am a bad businessman,
- 36:42yes,

- 36:47but that will be in February.
- 36:49We're going to

- 37:02Like this is gonna be great,
- 37:03um,

- 37:04it's uh the torch

- 37:13Uh,
- 37:13Glenn,
- 37:14congratulations,
- 37:14man,
- 37:15it's a big venture.
- 37:15Thanks so much.
- 37:16Thanks for coming on.
- 37:27There's a lot of different healthcare
- 37:29plans going back and forth,
- 37:30you know,
- 37:31of course there's the nationalized universal healthcare and there's the,
- 37:34oh,
- 37:35free market solutions and all that
- 37:37new proposal for you,
- 37:38just gonna throw this out there.
- 37:39What if we all just kind of,
- 37:41when we don't feel right.
- 37:43Put whatever we're feeling into chat GPT and go from there.
- 37:46Uh,
- 37:47because that seems to be what Americans are doing.
- 37:4840 million people are already on this plan,
- 37:50apparently.
- 37:51Uh,
- 37:5255% of people say they check or explore symptoms.
- 37:56Uh,
- 37:56uh,
- 37:57they,
- 37:57uh,
- 37:58they,
- 37:58they,
- 37:58this is what they,
- 37:59uh,
- 37:59they like in the last 3 months,
- 38:01by the way,
- 38:01this is just in the last 3 months.
- 38:03Um,
- 38:03they want to understand medical terms,
- 38:05they want to learn about treatment options.
- 38:07I mean,
- 38:07look.
- 38:08If you use AI at all,
- 38:09you've definitely already done this,
- 38:10right?
- 38:11Something,
- 38:11that's a weird,
- 38:12that's a
- 38:13kind of a weird little rash right there.
- 38:15Let's take a photo of that.
- 38:16What's this chat GPT?
- 38:17And what's weird about it is everyone
- 38:19just automatically believes whatever chat GBT says.
- 38:22I don't think that's a good way of going about your mention,
- 38:24your,
- 38:24uh,
- 38:24healthcare,
- 38:25but I will say,
- 38:26probably better than the old way,
- 38:28which was go on WebMD and,
- 38:30uh,
- 38:30it would just tell you that you had like,
- 38:32you know,
- 38:32syphilis.
- 38:33Uh,
- 38:33so,
- 38:34uh,
- 38:34hopefully you don't have syphilis,
- 38:35but if chat GPT says it,
- 38:37you do.
- 38:38Now you know
- 38:39the rest of the story.
- 38:39Uh,
- 38:40how,
- 38:40by the way,
- 38:41instead of doing that,
- 38:41you can just always go to
- 38:43a,
- 38:43uh,
- 38:43Somali healthcare facility.
- 38:45Uh,
- 38:45that could be better than Chad GPT.
- 38:46House committee is going to hold a hearing
- 38:48on the fraud in Minnesota,
- 38:50which is good.
- 38:51Uh,
- 38:52you know,
- 38:52of course,
- 38:52Tim Wall's already out,
- 38:53but,
- 38:54uh,
- 38:54you know,
- 38:55let's keep.
- 38:55The reason why he dropped out was,
- 38:56of course,
- 38:57to avoid all this.
- 38:58I don't think the right is going to stop.
- 39:00I don't think conservatives and Republicans are
- 39:01going to stop going after this fraud,
- 39:03not just in Minnesota,
- 39:03but in state after state after state.
- 39:05I think they're on this now.
- 39:06Let's see.
- 39:06Hopefully some people
- 39:08are held responsible
- 39:09above,
- 39:10you know,
- 39:10who's there have been a few that have already been
- 39:12arrested for this.
- 39:14A year after the LA wildfires destroyed thousands of homes.
- 39:17Today is the anniversary,
- 39:18I believe,
- 39:19fewer than
- 39:201 dozen
- 39:21have been rebuilt,
- 39:2212.
- 39:24I mean that is 13,000 homes were wiped out.
- 39:28And a dozen
- 39:29have been rebuilt.
- 39:31When you talk about a potential
- 39:33of Gavin Newsom running for president,
- 39:35we should just be hammering this
- 39:37all the time.
- 39:38The fact that this entire thing has gone on and
- 39:40he has not been able to streamline any of it,
- 39:42he hasn't been able to get any of this stuff done,
- 39:44is such an embarrassment for him.
- 39:46It should,
- 39:47in any sane world,
- 39:49obviously
- 39:50persuade him to not run,
- 39:51but he really wants it.
- 39:53He's been running basically for president for multiple years,
- 39:55even during the Biden campaign,
- 39:57campaign against Trump,
- 39:58he was basically running for president as like a third candidate,
- 40:00just like waiting in the wings.
- 40:02Just in case you need me,
- 40:03uh,
- 40:04he is going to run,
- 40:05I think,
- 40:05and that,
- 40:06that is.
- 40:07Uh,
- 40:08going to be terrible for all of us if he were to win.
- 40:10Uh,
- 40:10Trump leaves Venezuela opposition sidelined and Maduro's party in power.
- 40:14This is,
- 40:14I don't know what to think about this yet.
- 40:16I,
- 40:16I,
- 40:16I,
- 40:17and look.
- 40:18I'm really happy Maduro's out,
- 40:20uh,
- 40:20thrilled actually.
- 40:21I think he was horrible for the country and horrible for the people of Venezuela.
- 40:25Um,
- 40:26I,
- 40:26I don't have,
- 40:27you know,
- 40:28when it comes to how they did it,
- 40:29I think it was legally justifiable,
- 40:31at least in our,
- 40:31our understanding of the way this goes.
- 40:33I would have preferred some sort of
- 40:34congressional approval or authorization of military force.
- 40:37That being said,
- 40:39how this is going to be judged is not on any of that.
- 40:41How this is going to be judged is how does this turn out in the end,
- 40:43and.
- 40:44You know,
- 40:45I don't know.
- 40:45I mean,
- 40:46they have an opposition there that is very friendly to our policies,
- 40:51and it's not really being embraced.
- 40:52There's some rumors of friction behind the scenes.
- 40:55Richard Grinnell went there,
- 40:57didn't seem to get along all that well with the opposition leadership.
- 41:01You know,
- 41:02there's just some,
- 41:03some tension there,
- 41:04and so far
- 41:05the Trump administration answer to this is to say,
- 41:08well,
- 41:08we'll just leave Maduro's vice president in there
- 41:11and everybody kind of still in power.
- 41:13If this is just a transitional period where you're saying,
- 41:15OK,
- 41:16look,
- 41:16we can't just shake everything up,
- 41:17let's have them have this,
- 41:18uh,
- 41:19we will keep them in power for the moment,
- 41:20try to get what we can out of them.
- 41:22They seem to be playing ball a little bit,
- 41:23and then we'll have an election and whoever comes in comes in,
- 41:26hopefully someone from the opposition.
- 41:27That's OK,
- 41:29but right now I don't think it's,
- 41:30it hasn't improved their situation as much as you'd hope it would
- 41:34by removing Maduro.
- 41:36We'll see how that goes.
- 41:37And by the way,
- 41:38an update on Greenland.
- 41:39Um,
- 41:40you know,
- 41:40Trump's been talking about Greenland again.
- 41:42Rubio's going to go to Denmark and talk to him,
- 41:44uh,
- 41:44talk to the leadership there,
- 41:46try to get some sort of,
- 41:48I guess,
- 41:48I mean this is an ally,
- 41:49you'd hope that we're not going to be going to war with Greenland.
- 41:52Um,
- 41:53I don't think we're gonna be taking over Greenland.
- 41:55But we definitely really do want to buy it.
- 41:57That is a thing,
- 41:58that is a real thing,
- 41:59or at least at the very least get more access to
- 42:02what they have there when it comes to rare earth minerals
- 42:05and the like.
- 42:05So
- 42:06that's going on as well.
- 42:07Rubio going to visit next week.
- 42:09Back in a second.
- 42:21OK,
- 42:22so here's what happened.
- 42:23Um,
- 42:24actually,
- 42:24what happened was incredible disappointment.
- 42:26Why?
- 42:27Because I saw this headline and I got very excited.
- 42:29Scientists create robotic rabbits to fight invasive Burmese pythons in Florida.
- 42:34That sounds awesome.
- 42:36OK?
- 42:37Picture of the Slytherin things going around and
- 42:38then like swarms of robot rabbits attacking it,
- 42:41that,
- 42:41that sounds like a battle I wanna watch,
- 42:43right?
- 42:44But then I saw the actual news footage.
- 42:46Watch this.
- 42:47is being unleashed in Florida's Everglades to hunt Burmese pythons.
- 42:51All right,
- 42:51take a look at this right here.
- 42:53Scientists have deployed 120
- 42:55robot rabbits.
- 42:57Yeah,
- 42:57they're designed to look,
- 42:58move,
- 42:58and even smell like real marsh rabbits.
- 43:01The South Florida Water Management District and the
- 43:04University of Florida have deployed the mechanic bunnies.
- 43:07They did this over the summer and each rabbit robot
- 43:10cost about $4000 4000 dollars
- 43:13heat,
- 43:13scent,
- 43:14and motion to draw in pythons,
- 43:16triggering cameras that alert hunters to move in.
- 43:19Officials say it's too early to measure success,
- 43:21but
- 43:22they call the first results promising.
- 43:24Yeah,
- 43:24I'm sure they are.
- 43:25$4000.
- 43:26It's a,
- 43:26it's a,
- 43:26it's a stuffed rabbit
- 43:28on a lazy Susan.
- 43:30It doesn't look anything like the rabbits actually move,
- 43:32and somehow they spent $4000 on each of them.
