- 0:24Welcome into the Treehouse. I'm Danielmalley, joined by Trey Trent Home and by
- 0:32another friend of this here show and at one time associate producer and foot tender,
- 0:42Jerry Caldwell. Good afternoon, gentlemen. Jerry's good to have you in
- 0:48the Treehouse again, my friend. Yeah, it's good to be here.
- 0:50So I've mentioned this before. We mentioned it when we did the road show
- 0:54at Tody's in Bedford back in April. Trey, you had told me that
- 0:59you would actually your time with Jerry never overlapped, and you and I Trey
- 1:03talked about this a couple episodes ago, and I just take for granted so
- 1:07many things in the Treehouse that I shouldn't and that is that with all this,
- 1:11all all the different amazing casts of characters that the show has employed over
- 1:15the years, not everyone has overlapped at given times. You left the show
- 1:22in at the end of twenty twelve, and Jerry, you were brought on
- 1:26sort of not to replace Trey, but to just kind of fill a role
- 1:30because when Trey left, everything got readjusted as far as the show structure,
- 1:37and so Jerry was brought on. Who was who came first? Kinsey or
- 1:42Jerry Kinsey technically Okay, so that wasn't warm Jerry. It was me technically,
- 1:49but I didn't get brought in because Kinsey showed up. So when Russ
- 1:56decided he wanted to I was doing an internet a live Internet TV show that
- 2:00other certain people had become aware of and started watching other people that were currently
- 2:07on the show. Yes, gotcha. Um. So when Russ decided he
- 2:15wanted to start doing live video streaming out of the studio, he contacted me,
- 2:22and I'm the one that helped us design the setup to you know,
- 2:28find the TriCaster and do all that stuff and get all all that all the
- 2:32videos that we did for the radio show. Yeah, exactly. And then
- 2:37I was supposed to come in and operate it after he got all that put
- 2:39together. Came in and I helped him like tweak some stuff one day after
- 2:44the late after the show was done, and then the next thing I know,
- 2:49Kinsey's there. And it was Kinsey until until it wasn't until it wasn't.
- 2:55Yeah, it was Kinsey until you know, until Russ rust her.
- 3:02And that's not a sexual thing at all. Not, That's not how I
- 3:05mean it. I mean, because I've said this on a number of times.
- 3:10And there's only a handful of people that know this the same or maybe
- 3:16better than I do. And two of them are in this treehouse with me
- 3:21right now. That's Trey and Jerry. Is you're around Rusts long enough,
- 3:24he's eventually going to bite you. Um. And that's and that's basically what
- 3:29happened with with him and Kinzie and then Jerry. Then Jerry got Broun and
- 3:31finally to get the job that was dangled in front of him for for a
- 3:35period of time. And then September twenty fifteen, and then one day I
- 3:40heart made a decision to eliminate an entire position from the company and that got
- 3:47Jerry swept up into the dust pin, into the dustpin. But but and
- 3:54one of our one of our last triumphs before being laid off, we were
- 4:02able to get Jerry hired back, got the radio station. Yes, and
- 4:08I somewhere deep down, Trey, I bet Jerry hates me for it.
- 4:15I'm kidding on. Jerry loves radio and he loves the job. Yes,
- 4:19yes, I do. And I appreciate that there was a bit of a
- 4:23bait and switch there. Oh yeah, come back and you'll get to be
- 4:26you get to be a producer on the The Dreehouse Come on back, and
- 4:29then the day I get there, they let you guys go incident. Right
- 4:35by the way, they never told me that you were going to be your
- 4:38producer on the show. Oh yeah, Well anyways, the situation is what
- 4:45it is. You got a job in radio, Trey and I do not.
- 4:47But hey, we're in digital form now we've now joined the Matrix.
- 4:55But that's right, you're doing the thing. We're not all digital because like
- 4:58we did that road show in April in Bedford, we found another another place
- 5:08to invite us in person in a room with alcohol and other people. I'm
- 5:15getting at another Treehouse podcast live road show that will be happening Jerry on Friday
- 5:20July seventh at Daddy Rabbits Pub in Louisville one twenty one in Round Grove in
- 5:27Louisville, five to seven pm. So I don't like to just make general
- 5:32assumptions about people's lives and schedules. So I'm not assuming you're free. I'm
- 5:39just I'm just going to ask you on Friday July seventh, from five to
- 5:43seven pm, what are you doing if things go according to plan. I
- 5:49will be in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Why are you being punished? No?
- 5:58I love Hot Springs. Okay? Oh so so no one's like trying
- 6:02to boil you. No, no, no, no, The boilings all
- 6:08self inflicted. You're going on it's you're going on vacation. Yes, wow,
- 6:15Yes, staying at the Arlington Hotel. Look at you, mister big
- 6:19time radio job. I get vacation. I wouldn't say I get vacation.
- 6:27You're gonna have to claw out a little hunk of vacation. It's not exactly
- 6:31vacation time, but you're going to be someplace else that's not work right.
- 6:35I will not be chained to the board for at least five days. So
- 6:42you're gone out of town. You're taking a trip, You and you and
- 6:45your you and your lady going for a romantic weekend in Arkansas. Yes.
- 6:48I think we're gonna leave, probably the night of the fourth. It only
- 6:51takes four hours to get up there. Um, we're gonna stay at the
- 6:56Arlington Hotel. We're gonna take advantage of all the bat houses they've opened.
- 7:00Um places, hot oh bath houses, Hot Springs. Never mind, I
- 7:05was thinking tawdry. I mean there are places. If you go behind the
- 7:11mountain, there are places to go to get that if you want. But
- 7:14as long as you stay in in uh the magic valley there, valley of
- 7:18vapors, then everything's everything's on the up and up, all right. But
- 7:24don't go around to the mossy side of the mountain. Yeah, yeah,
- 7:28that's actually what they call it. They call it the back side of the
- 7:30mountain. Of course they do. Hey, well, you know, if
- 7:39you if you want some ass, you got to go to the back side
- 7:40of the mountain. So on July seventh, you will not be able to
- 7:45be there at the road show. You'll be uh, you'll be in Arkansas
- 7:49with with your lady doing romantic things. Yes, well, good, good
- 7:55for you. Congratulations. How long the two you've been together now since October
- 8:01of twenty nineteen. Wow, now you're just showing off in front of single
- 8:05Trey. Yeah, and you know what, hats off to you. If
- 8:11you survived a fairly new relationship survived the pandemic, Good on you. Yeah,
- 8:18because unfortunately Trey had a relationship that survived the pandemic, but it didn't
- 8:22survive much after the pandemic. Nou the relationship, right, not her yes,
- 8:31okay, just making sure although Jerry, keep in mind it wasn't a
- 8:33total loss. I mean, Trey's X gotta gotta got a nice porsh out
- 8:37of the deal. Yeah, oh really, m yeah, I'm not sure.
- 8:41We still haven't figured out whether or not the money Trey had been giving
- 8:46her went towards that porch, but we're just assuming that it did. Seriously,
- 8:52though, I'm actually really happy for you, Jerry, being able to
- 8:54you know, keep a girl, keep a job, get to go on
- 8:58vacation. I know, so much different than this time last year. This
- 9:03time last year, it was I was looking looking pretty bad. Well,
- 9:07this time last year, I had a job in vacation. I'm starting to
- 9:13see where it happened here. I see. I think what happened Trey is
- 9:16I got Jerry a job back, and then he's submarined me. Oh,
- 9:22there's a balance, because you do live in paradise, so exactly. Yeah,
- 9:26I guess it is kind of a scoreboard type situation. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:31it doesn't suck, I'll be honest with you. So what are you
- 9:33gonna do on the vacation? What's there to do in Hot Springs? So
- 9:35you go around and you go to like different tubs or what. I've never
- 9:39I've never been to Arkansas intentionally. Arkansas is a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
- 9:50place. Hot Springs is look. Hot Springs is located in the middle of
- 9:54the Washitaw Mountains. It's literally, sorry, I did the thing there.
- 10:03I know. It's it's an old throwback, and that's not actually something I
- 10:05say very often. It's uh. They call it like the mineral capital of
- 10:09the planet because every single kind of crystal or rock or anything that you can
- 10:13find pretty much anywhere in the world, you can find it to some degree
- 10:16in Arkansas. Really, so rockhounding is big there, going out digging for
- 10:22crystals, big big I've dug big quartz crystals out there and the mines around
- 10:28Hot Springs. Man, it's I can just I can just feel the excitement
- 10:33coming from your girlfriend's loins when you tell her we're gonna go rockhounding. Actually,
- 10:37she's all about it. She's really just like, Yeah, she's nerdly
- 10:41just like I am. Dirt for rocks, just like you do. Oh
- 10:45yes, yes, pulling mother Nature apart with your bare hands and pulling shiny's
- 10:50out of it. Yeah, that's awesome. How long has she been collecting
- 10:54her fingernail trimmings. She has yet to collect any. Well, that's because
- 11:00you have more, more than enough for the two of you. It's as
- 11:03a matter of fact, I found it pretty funny. I was telling doctor
- 11:05Scott Thornton this at the Trash Bash that when, as usual, when we
- 11:13went on our first date, I pulled him out, um, your fingernail
- 11:16clippings. Thank you, Trey, I was pulled him out on the first
- 11:20date. Here. It's one of those things where it's like, are you
- 11:26on the first date and there's a second one? We're good? You know.
- 11:30Well also, not only that, but if you if if you pull
- 11:33out your fingernail collection on the first date and it doesn't immediately end the first
- 11:37date, that's that's a pretty good start for you. And speaking of a
- 11:41good start, Trey, this is a good thing that you no longer have
- 11:45to worry about when it comes to the road show on July seventh at Daddy
- 11:50Rabbit's Pub in Louisville. Is since Jerry won't be there, neither will his
- 11:54fingernails. Because I don't think Jerry and the fingernails have ever been separate in
- 11:58the what is it eight years now that you've been doing a collection, Yes,
- 12:05and no, we have. We have never been a pot I've always
- 12:09had them in some fashion some degree. Actually survived the tornado because they were
- 12:13in my in my bag, hanging on the door the CoA closet downstairs by
- 12:22the front door, which was one of the only parts of the house that
- 12:24didn't get wrecked. So you basically made sure to keep your You kept your
- 12:26toneail clippings inside your emergency bug out bag kind of. Yeah, all the
- 12:33priorities. I'm pretty sure FEMA lists that you take all assential items in your
- 12:39bug out bag in case of emergency. But yeah, when I showed her
- 12:43showed her the collection, she asked me very similar questions that doctor Thornton asked
- 12:48me on the show that time when russ I was talking to him about it,
- 12:52which was why One of them is what's wrong with you? Is it?
- 13:03Is it a compulsion? Can you not do it and not get angry?
- 13:07I was like yeah, yeah, He's like, okay, do they
- 13:11bring you any sexual pleasure? I was like, no, okay, do
- 13:16you have any interest in collecting anyone else's? And I said no, And
- 13:20then doctor Thornton looks at him was like, Oh, he's not is He's
- 13:22just fucking weird. And she she asked me basically the same questions. I
- 13:33mean, that is throwing down the gauntlet on a first date. And if
- 13:37she stays around, I'd say, you have a keeper. That's yeah.
- 13:41Absolutely. We're both theater nerds and creative types and kind of awkward sometimes.
- 13:50Jerry, what, because I don't know this story? What was the impetus
- 13:56behind you beginning to collect your finger nail trimming? It started out as a
- 14:03simple science experiment. I was just interested in seeing how much of that stuff,
- 14:09my fingernails and toenails that I grew in a year. It was only
- 14:11supposed to last for a year. I started it on my birthday eighteen years
- 14:16ago, when I was thirty, on my thirtieth birthday, and I was
- 14:20just gonna after that was done, I was just going to put them all
- 14:22together and weigh it up and take some notes. And I was just I
- 14:26was just curious because at the time, there wasn't really like a good resource.
- 14:31You know, you find online it'll tell you that they grow this much,
- 14:33and you know, so on and so forth. But I just wondered,
- 14:37like, empirically, how much am I actually producing? And then at
- 14:41the end of the year I couldn't stop here I am eighteen years later.
- 14:48Have you started up a new can yet? I have to get a new
- 14:50can now, no more, we're going to fit in there. Have you
- 14:54done? Have you done anything else scientific? Like I said, Well,
- 14:58if I take the supplement, it gives you extra growth. I've I actually,
- 15:05I've never tried that before. I've never taken anything specifically for carroton production.
- 15:11And now you got his menels turning tree. Good job, because now
- 15:15he's gonna he's gonna start looking into it fine things. So that way he
- 15:18gets to produce more and therefore trim more and therefore save more and then also
- 15:24have more to chase you around with. It'll be two in each hand.
- 15:28When in each hand, oh, then it will be like moroccas. I
- 15:31will tell you this, and I don't know why I'm telling you this,
- 15:35but collagen supplement at least makes my nails grow faster. So okay, you
- 15:41know what this reminds me of, Trey. This reminds me of when your
- 15:46dad would tell you to go get belt belt. Yeah, so I got
- 15:50my own switch exactly, So right there, you just you just played into
- 15:54Jerry's hands and toe nails by saying, you know what. I know he's
- 15:56gonna do something to me with these things. But here's a way to grow
- 16:00even more of the things that make you nauseous. You really thinking about you?
- 16:07Try? You really are gletton for punishment. I am, but I
- 16:11have thought of a secret weapon to bring to uh keep Jerry from terrorizing me.
- 16:22Garlic. Oh, that does work? Crucifix? Huh what garlic?
- 16:27CHRISTI m m. The garlic doesn't work. There was a when I was
- 16:33growing up, there was a lady been tested on him. She she hung
- 16:37a big thing of garlic on her front porch, try and keep me away.
- 16:41It didn't work. So Trey, what do you have to keep Jerry
- 16:44at bay? You want to see it? I do, and you can
- 16:48hear it too. Dustbuster on air dot com. Let's welcome into the treehouse
- 17:12Rodney Anderson, whose phone number is nine seven two nine eight five fifty two
- 17:18hundredth website Rodney Anderson dot com. All right, so, Rodney, let's
- 17:22talk about something fun. Someone going out into the housing market and finding that
- 17:25perfect home. It's very exciting. I've been there. I'm curious if someone
- 17:30were to call you for a home purchase, how long is it taking you
- 17:33to close that? Well, let me talk about Katie and Clay. They
- 17:36go out and get contract on a house in Plano on June twelfth. They
- 17:40set the closing date for June twenty. First, we took their application,
- 17:44had them already pre approved before, but we took their application on June twelfth.
- 17:48We by law cannot close their loan for eight days, but on June
- 17:52thirteenth, the appraisal was ordered. We're having the appraisal come back June fifteenth.
- 17:59Then they'll be ready to close on June twenty. First starts finish,
- 18:02so you're talking nine days start to finish, and that includes the weekends.
- 18:06So we always tell people, you know, sellers, what would the seller
- 18:10want. They wanted to close quickly? Why they had already picked out another
- 18:14house and they were a contingency in the seller of that property wanted them to
- 18:18release the contingency. So we're able to move mountains quickly. And by law
- 18:25I can't close you for eight days on a purchase, but we're closing our
- 18:27loans right now and eight ten fifteen days stand and we just invite people pick
- 18:32up the phone and give us a call. Whether you're closing in thirty days
- 18:34forty five days or you're looking at a fast closing, and whether you're buying
- 18:38a primary residence our investment property, we can help with both. Rodney's been
- 18:41doing this for over forty years. He's helped me with two loans on homes,
- 18:45and he can help you just as well as he has helped me and
- 18:48my family navigate that process, which can be very confusing at times. We
- 18:52don't do it every day, but Rodney and his team do, so give
- 18:55them a call nine seven two eight five fifty two hundred. That's nine seven
- 18:57two nine eight five two hundred, or of course, Rodney Anderson dot com.

- 19:49dot com. I was trying to find the story. A little bit ago
- 19:55we were talking about we mentioned aliens and how there was a research done that
- 20:00said that basically analyze the different states and the country as to which ones would
- 20:06fare better in an alien invasion versus others. Not really surprisingly the state of
- 20:11Nevada, Nevada. I still don't know which way I want to say that
- 20:15um was the least likely to survive an alien invasion. I guess partly because
- 20:22Area fifty one and maybe also because it's kind of remote or something. But
- 20:30it did get me thinking when this story happened, because there's been a lot
- 20:34of alien stuff going on the last couple of years, and it seems to
- 20:38kind of get it gets a little bit of attention in the news and in
- 20:42the media, but I feel like there's a lot more going on, and
- 20:47no one's really digging into it a whole lot. We're all just kind of
- 20:49like, man, if it shows up on TikTok, I'll believe it.
- 20:55Well, what's been released by the Pentagon just in the past few years in
- 21:02terms of videos. You've seen them with fire pilots watching these objects that seem
- 21:07to defy the laws of physics as we understand them. And its suspect when
- 21:14they do it because they almost always do it in like a document dump.
- 21:17You know, it's a Friday afternoon. You know, they're going to release
- 21:19a bunch of just weird stuff and people have to rifle through it. I
- 21:26mean, very seldom are there, like occasionally there has been like a congressional
- 21:30report. It's like, you know, I forgot what they call it now,
- 21:33UAVs instead of UFOs or something like that. Yeah, uv or UAP
- 21:37or something. Yeah. Yeah, So, but yeah, there has been
- 21:42an awful lot and there's a lot of things that make you, you know,
- 21:49question history. Oh give me an example, Um, I don't you
- 21:56know, it's not even so much. There's a show on Netflix if you
- 22:00haven't, it's called Ancient Apocalypse. Fascinating guy totally drawn a blank on his
- 22:06name, but he has a theory, and that is that, you know,
- 22:08basically, we're not the first civilization to be on Earth, that there
- 22:11was a civilization prior to the Ice Age, and that if you look at
- 22:18all I mean, whether it's Noah or all these other cultures that have never
- 22:23had any contact with each other. But I'll have this similar story of a
- 22:26great flood, and most of them have a you know, large people that
- 22:30came and taught them how to build and remake society as it were. And
- 22:37you know, because basically there's kind of a deal of if you say,
- 22:41maybe that some of their timeline of archaeology and history is wrong, and because
- 22:48the Great Sphinx is a good example, there are a lot of people,
- 22:51scientists, everyone who think that the actual Sphinx, the body was created twelve
- 22:57thousand years ago and it was the head that the Egyptians, which was in
- 23:03history conquering, you know, whoever was the conqueror a lot of times,
- 23:07took temples and everything else. They didn't just destroy them, they built over
- 23:10them or they modified them to make them their own. And that the Sphinx
- 23:14was actually a cat head, and then the Egyptians came along and and that's
- 23:18why the head is so much smaller than the rest of the body than made
- 23:21it into a human head. But you know, basically the premises, you
- 23:26know, how all of a sudden five six thousand years ago, did they
- 23:29learn how to make the engineering you know, necessary to build a pyramid.
- 23:33That's not something that just comes to you overnight. So basically we need to
- 23:37all go back and rewatch Stargate the movie and the television series because it might
- 23:42be close to historical documents, are ably historical documentary. It's not that the
- 23:51Egyptian gods were made up, it's that they were actually aliens with dogheads and
- 23:55things very possible. I'm just feel the sandpoint of the math. It's kind
- 24:00of hard to argue against alien life forms. I mean, you consider that
- 24:07we are in a galaxy, the Milky Way galaxy, the billions of stars
- 24:14like sun like the Sun, some not in a universe with billions of galaxies.
- 24:21So I mean, do that math. What are the odds that some
- 24:25indistinct, unremarkable planet that just happens to be attached to one particular star and
- 24:33an unremarkable galaxy would be the only one that has intelligent life? Yeah?
- 24:41And well, and also if you really get down to it, whether it's
- 24:44aliens or let's say just that we are not the first there. What are
- 24:48the biggest things? Is if all of a sudden, they came out tomorrow
- 24:52and said, guess what, there were humans that walked the earth fifty thousand
- 24:56years ago? Well, what are the big problem there is that you then
- 25:00have you know, I mean there are people who doubt the dinosaurs because it's
- 25:04not in the Bible. So have all of a sudden you had you know,
- 25:07said, Dirry, you're human civilizations fifty thousand years ago. You're going
- 25:11to have a crisis of faith and one of the biggest businesses in the world
- 25:15is going to be really unhappy. No, there's no question that figures in
- 25:21a thin You're exactly right. Well, yeah, because I mean, and
- 25:26that's kind of sad when you think about it. That means, at the
- 25:27end of the day, one of the biggest things we're all concerned with is
- 25:30money because because that's that's that's basically what it would boil down to. The
- 25:37business of God is a very big business. It's a trillion dollar business.
- 25:42There's a Yeah, there's a reason why you know, there are there are
- 25:45dedicated you know, broadcast networks for Jesus. But but Jesus technically his own
- 25:55currency. Yeah yeah, yeah, he does. And but Jesus never makes
- 25:57an appearance on those shows. Not even a call in, not even a
- 26:03call in. The man can't even be bothered with a damn phoner. Just
- 26:07call in, check in, say what's up? Be like, hey man,
- 26:10I'm real you should really listen to these guys. But Jesus won't come
- 26:12down and actually endorsed the endorse the preachers. Yeah, yeah, not even
- 26:18an Everett. I'm sorry if this brings up a painful you know, memory
- 26:22won't even send down a burning bush. Wow, do you feel attacked?
- 26:30Everett? I feel attacked for you, uh speaking, I call it a
- 26:37burning stink eye bush. Still, okay, poke at the wound front Hall.
- 26:47So, Trey, you mentioned it earlier where I think, I guess
- 26:49in the documentary they had mentioned that they were, you know, really tall
- 26:52alien like creatures that were helping humans, you know, get back on track
- 26:56after this big flood. Yeah. So did you hear about there really tall
- 27:00creatures that partied in Vegas recently? No? Or maybe it was renouh.
- 27:07So I've got something for you. I would really if if aliens come and
- 27:11they go to Reno instead of Vegas, that's really going to be a very
- 27:15big disappointment in Barren's eligence. Someone actually called nine one one in Las Vegas
- 27:22and said, um, I think there's some aliens in my backyard. Have
- 27:29you guys, have you guys seen this? So this this was posted online
- 27:33a couple of weeks ago. It's a news story out of one of the
- 27:37local TV stations in Las Vegas, and it includes police officers responding to a
- 27:42call about people saying that looks like there might be aliens in my yard.
- 27:49It's almost midnight on May first, when a Las Vegas Metro police officer's bodycam
- 27:55catches this something flashing low in the sky. Later there's a there's like an
- 28:00eighth ful person beside it, and another one inside and there has big guys
- 28:04are looking at us, and it's still good. Someone calls nine one one
- 28:08reporting two large figures in their backyard. Oh, I'm so nervous right now.
- 28:12The eight News now investigators obtaining another officers video as he sent to the
- 28:18Northwest Valley home. I have butterflies, brow a shooting star. Then these
- 28:22people say there's aliens in their backyard. By now it's more than an hour
- 28:26after that, bright light officers meeting up with the collar and his family.
- 28:30Would you see it was like it was like a big creature, a big
- 28:36creature. I'm not going to be yes, you guys. One of my
- 28:38partners said they saw something fall over the sky too, So that's why I'm
- 28:41kind of curious, traded you catch that the quote unquote witness saying the creature
- 28:47looked to me about ten feet tall. I heard big, but so yeah,
- 28:52ten feet tall, that that would be big. You know somewhere Mark
- 28:57Cuban's kind of rain his hands together. It's like, oh really, it's
- 29:03just thinking. It's like there's some NBA owners going, man, we can
- 29:06bring back the big man. You just teach him the sky hook and were
- 29:11off to the racist and you'll never be as good as shack unless you can
- 29:15make free throws good in your backyard. Or they see like a big they
- 29:23say they see like a big like anthing with but I saw right now,
- 29:26I don't believe in police walk into the backyard to investigate, but Metro blocked
- 29:32out that part of the video because it's considered private property. It's clear they're
- 29:36taking this call seriously. Hey, this might sound like a really dumb question,
- 29:41but did you guys see anything fall out of the sky, asking others
- 29:45what they saw I would normally discount as nothing. However, um, seeing
- 29:51as one of my partners said they saw it too. The only reason I'm
- 29:53actually investigating it further. That investigation turning up no concrete answers as a Wednesday
- 30:00whatever or whoever fell into that yard long gone within minutes. All right,
- 30:06it does, it does. Ninth, flu things come back. Don't call
- 30:07us, all right, deal with it yourself. Man, that's not cool.
- 30:11What happened to Protect and serve? Wow? I guess, I guess
- 30:15protect and serves stops at aliens. Yeah, you have to be earth born
- 30:19for them to give a crap. Yeah that now all of a sudden they
- 30:26care about being recorded with their boot on somebody's neck if it's an alien.
- 30:33And now we figured out Men in Black is real. Well, not only
- 30:37that, but apparently it's like some of the depictions in Hollywood feel like alien
- 30:44you know, depictions might actually be kind of accurate. It's like, what
- 30:45does Hollywood know? Because like Stargate, the movie and the television show,
- 30:49um, and also the movie signs with Mel Gibson, one of m Night
- 30:57Shamalan's good movies, or the alien actually looked exactly kind of like what they're
- 31:02describing ten V tall and you know, kind of gangly and running around and
- 31:06disappearing in things. But it doesn't it doesn't stop with just some random people
- 31:11calling nine one one, you know, at night in Las Vegas, because
- 31:18there's there's also apparently a government whistleblower who has come out and said, yeah,
- 31:26we've got lots of this stuff, we're just not telling anybody about it.
- 31:32Did you see this? Did you hear about this? Is this the
- 31:37like an air Force guy that said, yeah, we've been capturing you know,
- 31:41these alien aircrafts, some working, some not, you know, for
- 31:44years, and that's we're sitting on a lot of alien tech and stuff like
- 31:48that. Yes, yeah, And again this is like the guy I've found
- 31:52this stuff basically just kind of scrolling through you know, Twitter or going across
- 31:56and just looking at Yahoo dot com, as opposed to having like a nice
- 32:04fireside chat with the president saying all right, look we found some stuff and
- 32:09we just don't trust you all to tell you about it. Well, I
- 32:15think it would, as Trey pointed out earlier, you know, it would
- 32:20so undermine the idea of God that's so many people have if in fact,
- 32:28it were confirmed that there were alien life forms that not only exists, but
- 32:34are superior to us, because I mean, in order to effectuate the sort
- 32:37of speed with which they would have to travel to get here from any place
- 32:44that could maintain life there, technology is so far beyond what we can even
- 32:52conceive that, you know, we're just a curiosity to then that there is
- 33:00definitely that possibility. However, that also means there's a possibility that, like
- 33:05us, among those aliens are some that can't drive because they keep crashing in
- 33:09our planet. And this guy who goes on news Nation was part of the
- 33:15teams to go around and collect wreckage. So here's this guy. This is
- 33:22a snippet from an interview he did on news Nation. He's a whistleblower and
- 33:28he's supposedly, at least according to these circles, very very credible, and
- 33:32he has a security clearance basically of about the highest you can get. When
- 33:39you say crash retrieval, what do you mean? These are retrieving non human
- 33:45origin technical vehicles. You know, call it spacecraft if you will. It's
- 33:50probably on the right parlance, but no kidding, non human exotic origin vehicles
- 33:57that have either landed or crashed. We have spice craft from another species?
- 34:01We do? Yeah? How many? Quite a number when you say crush
- 34:07retreatment? Quite a number? Um again, how is it? Are we
- 34:15all just is? Did you guys see the movie Don't Look Up on Netflix
- 34:20last year? Are we all so distracted by looking down at our phones that
- 34:25we can't ever be bothered to look up into this guy and go, hey,
- 34:29look at that aliens? You know, I have to question that we
- 34:34would have such an abundance of recovered vehicles. I mean, I just think
- 34:38about all the people that would be involved in the recovery of those, all
- 34:43the people would have knowledge of those incidents, and the idea that this has
- 34:46never come to life and that we've seen no evidence of it. I'm not
- 34:51saying the guy's line. I'm just saying I'm a bit skeptical of his claims
- 34:54for that reason. Yeah, but Everett, if you think about it,
- 34:59you know, if there was one one thing that would scare people in power
- 35:02enough to keep their mouth shut is the fact that they face the chance of
- 35:08power unraveling, because you would have in reality, if you if they said,
- 35:14yes, there's an alien landing on Earth, you would have mass hysteria.
- 35:19That's true, But you know this guy's talking. I'm just saying,
- 35:22you know, there would be other people. I just can't believe we would
- 35:25just now be hearing about this and from only one person because the news And
- 35:29you're exactly the right tray. I mean, I completely agree with you,
- 35:31so what their mass reaction would likely be. But at the same time,
- 35:37it's such a fantastic secret it would be very difficult for venting people to keep,
- 35:43certainly for everyone except for this guy, no, I mean, and
- 35:47it's something there we used to the government used to be able to keep secrets,
- 35:53maybe not perfectly, but a lot better than they can now. So
- 36:00yeah, this is a really good one. I don't know, how are
- 36:01you making rock? Maybe this is the only guy that's come out and say
- 36:05anything, and they have, you know, warehouses full of extraterrestrial vehicles.
- 36:09But the other the other possibility is that the reason why some of this has
- 36:15been kept so secret and been kept as such a well guarded secret, as
- 36:21that perhaps not only are the aliens here, but they've managed to put on
- 36:27some human skin suits and get elected into the highest offices of the land and
- 36:30keep it all a secret. And this guy happens to be a regular human
- 36:34that said, Hey, look at all this stuff we've got that no one
- 36:37knows about. And then eventually he'll disappear and the aliens be like, what
- 36:40guy, what wouldn't we have no idea who? Who? Who? This
- 36:43person is? Well, we'll just have to wait to see. Yeah,
- 36:49I suppose, but a picture, you know, if you're going to blow
- 36:52a whistle man, take a picture of something. I get that. It's
- 36:57like, if you're going to be a whistle blower, you want you don't
- 37:00him to be just a whistleblower. You wanted to be a whistle shower.
- 37:04Yeah, I mean there needs to be so approved. Give it time,
- 37:10because now, Dan, I will disagree with you on one thing you said.
- 37:15You know, aliens crashing here, they're obviously bad drivers. They may
- 37:20not be bad drivers. They may have forgotten to stop for a refuel.
- 37:25Bucky's on Neptune that they forgotten to spect from them there's some nagging person,
- 37:31you know, going teld you to stop. So instead of getting instead of
- 37:35getting more more fuel when they made the stop, instead they went to the
- 37:38bathroom and got an unnecessarily large bag of beaver nuggets. You're in the visit
- 37:49us online a treehouse OnAir dot com. And if that's the case, then
- 37:53we're not all that dissimilar. Maybe he was trying to whip their kid in
- 38:00the back time, not to welcome into the treehouse. Friend and sponsor of
- 38:08the show, that is Daniel Cook from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration. Obviously,
- 38:13there's been a ton of storm, severe storms, lots of hail,
- 38:15lots of big hail recently in North Texas. Daniel, And just because you
- 38:21know, a homeowner might not see any visible damage as far as shingles in
- 38:24the yard or water coming through the roof or anything, that doesn't mean that
- 38:29the roof wasn't damaged. And it also might mean that the roof might have
- 38:32taken some hits to where it can't withstand the next storm. Right, Hey,
- 38:37Dan, you're absolutely right. We've had several inspections in this last few
- 38:40days. People cannot see the damage from the ground. There's a lot of
- 38:45areas on roofs, especially two story homes, that you cannot see. There's
- 38:50valleys, there's all kinds of structures on top of the roof. Ventilation pipes
- 38:54that were bent and broken could cause carbon monoxide to go inside your home.
- 38:59I know we're out running our heaters right now, but hey, if you
- 39:01don't get it checked out now and you go into the wintertime you have a
- 39:04pipe problem, then you're gonna have some problems, multiple issues that could occur.
- 39:08So getting your roof inspected after a storm is the most necessary thing you
- 39:13could do as a homeowner. And the great thing about Cook DFW Roofing and
- 39:15Restoration is they're not going to charge you for that inspection. That inspection is
- 39:19free. They'll come out, take a look at it, and they'll be
- 39:21honest with you about what they find and you can make your informed decision from
- 39:24there. So give our guys at Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration a call today
- 39:29for that free inspection. Eight three three Cook DFW eight three three Cook DFW,

- 39:43The phone number that you will need at some point, or just one because
- 39:45you want to do something fun is two, one, four, three six
- 39:49eight thirty eight thirty eight for Brooks Plumbing. The website Brooks Plumbing Texas dot
- 39:52Com. One of the great things we love about your company, Jacqueline with
- 39:55Brooks Plumbing, is that you're offer a lot of value to your customers.
- 40:00That doesn't mean cheap, It just means that you're able to charge a little
- 40:05bit less than some of those really big named companies. But it's also important
- 40:08to remember that you get what you pay for. So if you're a homeowner
- 40:12and you're trying to save money, you still want to make sure you get
- 40:15an actually licensed plumber, right. Yeah, And I'm guilty of this because
- 40:20you know, nobody wants to spend their money their mummy. Nobody wants to
- 40:22spend their money on plumbing. Trey would spend his money. Yeah, that's
- 40:28just not the way you want to spend your hard earned money. But I
- 40:30had a lady called me this week and she said, I'm in trouble.
- 40:34I own a rental property. I had a handyman install a gas water heater.
- 40:37The city came to inspect the house make sure that it was a safe
- 40:40place for me to rent out to the public, and they caught the fact
- 40:45that the water heater had been installed about a year ago, but it had
- 40:47never been inspected now I have to find a plumbing company willing to pull a
- 40:52permit on behalf of someone else's workmanship, and I've got to get it inspected
- 40:58or I can't ever rent out this property. And I worked with the lady
- 41:01and we did find a resolution. But you know, sometimes cheaper is not
- 41:07always better. Sometimes you're going to end up having to find somebody else to
- 41:09come behind the original work. It's just like if you hire Joshmo drywaller and
- 41:15he's willing to do it for a quarter of the price that you know a
- 41:17professional insured company, might you know, do you know this quality of Joshmo's
- 41:22work, can he get you the permit that you need? And you know,
- 41:24like I always say, with water heaters, with gas, with venting,
- 41:28with the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning, best to use a license ignition
- 41:32and to get a permit and get an inspection and do it right the first
- 41:36time so you don't have to do it again a year later. And that's
- 41:38why we recommend you called Brooks Plumbing at two one four three six eight thirty
- 41:43eight thirty eight, so that way you get it done properly the first time.

- 42:42dot com. We appreciate their support. So I guess it's not all alien
- 42:49invasions, you know, And maybe maybe there's technology that has come from alien
- 42:54technology that we're just not really aware of. Um. But you were.
- 43:00You were telling me a little while ago that I guess you were sort of
- 43:05not anti technology, but I guess you're you're kind of slow to accept some
- 43:08of the some of the newer advancements that we have in technology these days.
- 43:14Yea, I have. There's one thing that I have been very resistant too.
- 43:19And but the more and more I watch and I look and everything else,
- 43:23I have become resigned to the fact that as a society we are going
- 43:29to be better off when there are self driving cars. That you take the
- 43:36human element out of it, is that because you've reached the point or you've
- 43:39reached the age in which you've lost faith in your fellow man. It's well,
- 43:45I know I lost faith years ago, but I just I have no
- 43:51faith in people anymore to actually drive. I mean, and and you look
- 43:54at just the ebb and flow of traffic and everything else, and so much.
- 43:58So many problems are caused by people not paying attention, you know,
- 44:00whether if you're at a stoplight and one guy goes and then the car you
- 44:05know, next car waits five seconds because they got their head up their ass,
- 44:07and it just completely screws up the flow of traffic merging on the highway
- 44:12you know so much, you know, which is where so many traffic problems
- 44:15cause are caused. And if people would just go, you know, hey,
- 44:20you know one end, you know, every other car let him in,
- 44:22Let him in, let him in, and you know, everything with
- 44:23flow fine, and so you know, it's just like it's just everything would
- 44:30be better to be less accident as everything else. And sadly if they were
- 44:32just self driving cars and took the human element out. And I was absolutely
- 44:38convinced of that. The other day, I was in the parking lot of
- 44:44Target and I was leaving. Congratulations, congratulations, because leaving target is very
- 44:51difficult. It sucks you in and it keeps you there. It doesn't real
- 44:54quick. Were you able to leave target still straight? Yes, so it
- 45:00is possible, Okay, well, good on, it is good job,
- 45:02good job. So although you know, I was a little curious about some
- 45:07of their clothing choices. Careful that's how to get you tray. You get
- 45:10curious about it. And then yeah, um, so I'm starting to back
- 45:17up and there is a car is pulls in, you know, behind me,
- 45:22and blocks me from backing up. They stopped there. I I thought
- 45:28they were waiting for another spot, and so I sit there. I sit
- 45:31there. I sit there, and about thirty seconds goes by, and I'm
- 45:35starting to get a little agitated. You I know, big shocker, and
- 45:42I honk. I get no response. Finally, we're probably getting on a
- 45:46minute. I open up my door, turn around. I noticed the lady
- 45:53in the car. How's her window down? So I said, excuse me,
- 45:58ma'am, I'm kind to leave your mind. She then looks up from
- 46:07her phone, looks over to me and says, oh, excuse me,
- 46:13I'm sorry that I don't text and drive, and I nearly fell out of
- 46:21my car. She basically had just stopped in the middle of the parking lot
- 46:24so she could send a text message but technically while not moving. So I
- 46:28guess not driving. I got you so. So so what she did was
- 46:32she made the entire world stop around her so she could send a text.
- 46:39Right. But you know, in her mind she was being safe because she
- 46:43wasn't texting and driving. Well, she's she's not wrong, she she there
- 46:47there is there is a a a loophole in that that argument that you know
- 46:52she is correct and it is that's kind of a in that in that tiny
- 46:55if you're if you're looking at it through a microscopic lens, she was correct
- 47:00and she was doing a good thing by not texting and driving. The problem
- 47:06is is once you pull out and look at the bigger picture, which she
- 47:09is clearly incapable of doing. Is we're all just really really lucky that she
- 47:17allows us to live in her orbit. And clearly, whatever she does,
- 47:22we have to then live our lives accord in reaction to what she does.
- 47:29And that's the kind of person on this planet that I cannot stand. And
- 47:32honestly, if if if aliens do come, those would be some of the
- 47:37first people if I could, I would round up and hand over to our
- 47:42new overlords. First. All these people think they're the most important thing on
- 47:45this planet. Can you please show them differently? Yeah, I mean,
- 47:52and it's it's it's the mindset of that in her mind, like she there
- 48:00actually doing a good thing. They're not texting and driving. It doesn't matter
- 48:02that you know, they're causing a huge inconvenience for everyone else and how it
- 48:07affects everyone else's wives. But you know, the world stops and so they
- 48:13can do a good thing and not text and drive, you know, kind
- 48:15of like sitting well, it's kind of like sitting at a table, you
- 48:19know, at a Chinese restaurant for an hour and a half. You know,
- 48:24trendom I was going to agree with you, but now that's all off,
- 48:30and I had a question, but I have to pose it in the
- 48:34midst of all of this. Did you offer her a snack? I did
- 48:39not have a snack available. I gave I gave her a stink. Guy,
- 48:45this is on you. If you didn't offer her a snack, you
- 48:49have no one to blame it yourself. You could her attention, so she
- 48:54could have been eating while while not driving. Probably I probably have to longer
- 49:00so she can chewed. No, but she's trying to avoid doing something she
- 49:05can't legally do while driving. That's a big safety Hansward. You can eat
- 49:09while driving, you can't giving her some peanut butter crackers? Well? Is
- 49:17ever it is? That? Is that? Is that your cure for road
- 49:21rage? Or is that? Is that? Is that the way you de
- 49:22escalate tent situations is with peanut butter crackers? And absolutely, I mean that
- 49:29exchange would have been entirely different had you simply offered her a delicious snack.
- 49:36You know what, I can You know, I carry dog treats and cat
- 49:37treats in my car. I'll start carrying some human treats and you know you
- 49:43know what, No, I'll give that a shot. Don't actually What you
- 49:45need to do is go when you go to the pet store to get the
- 49:49treats, get those ones that are right by the right by the registers,
- 49:52the impulse treats. The ones that look like cookies and they look like a
- 49:59muffin, and cupcakes and things that the dog treats that look like human treats.
- 50:05Give those out. Yeah. I think they even make some peanut butter.
- 50:08One, so every suggested peanut butter crackers, that's not that's a good
- 50:13idea. It'd be even better if you really want to get a reaction out
- 50:15of her, is this, take a jar of peanut butter and just smear
- 50:19it all over your what you ain't got no jelly. I hate laughing at
- 50:35my own punched lines, but I could not know that's a good one.
- 50:37I'm just imagining you getting out of the car the target barking lot with no
- 50:43fants, just covered with peanut butter. Be sure to file, oh geez,
