- 0:04Speaker 1: The Philly Show Live at Manco and Mango and Ocean City.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Charlie Manuel Larry Boa, We're excited to have him, Larry.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Larry Jim asked Charlie earlier about Trey Turner at the plate.
- 0:19Speaker 2: You know, defensively, he's had some struggles this year.
- 0:21Speaker 1: You played the position as well as anybody in baseball history.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Really, what do you think is kind of going on?
- 0:28Speaker 1: What do you think he can do it in the
- 0:30Speaker 1: second half to be a little bit more of that
- 0:32Speaker 1: lockdown shortstop that you gotta have.
- 0:35Speaker 4: Well, you know, I think I've seen him make great
- 0:38Speaker 4: plays this year, but I've also seen him I think
- 0:40Speaker 4: a lot of it comes to concentration and he's really
- 0:44Speaker 4: upset with his offensive where he is right now because
- 0:49Speaker 4: this guy's hit three hundred almost every year. And I
- 0:52Speaker 4: think sometimes I he's never said this to me, but
- 0:56Speaker 4: this is just me. I think sometimes he might take
- 0:58Speaker 4: a lasted bat out there, or maybe Babe bases loaded
- 1:01Speaker 4: and pop up a pitch that he thought in the
- 1:03Speaker 4: next pitch next time up ground ball. Mentally, he's got
- 1:08Speaker 4: the skills and the guy works. I don't want to
- 1:11Speaker 4: hear people say he doesn't work. He takes his ground
- 1:13Speaker 4: balls every single day. Last year, I thought he did
- 1:17Speaker 4: tremendous at short stock and this year so far, he's
- 1:21Speaker 4: taking a step back. But I expect him to get hot.
- 1:24Speaker 4: You know, people always getting on his defense. But I
- 1:26Speaker 4: asked a couple of people yesterday, how many games do
- 1:29Speaker 4: you think and I'll ask you guys, you guys watched
- 1:31Speaker 4: all the game, how many games do you think we've
- 1:33Speaker 4: lost because of his defense?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Well, that's a good question. That's a good question.
- 1:38Speaker 5: I mean he's put some he's put some heat on
- 1:40Speaker 5: the on the starting pitchers and their pitch counts, right.
- 1:43Speaker 5: I agree that, in particular with Chris Sanchez a few times.
- 1:46Speaker 5: But as far as losing actually losing, maybe just a.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Couple that's that's that's the point I try to make.
- 1:53Speaker 4: But you're right about the pitch count. But when they say, oh,
- 1:56Speaker 4: he's lost a ton of he hasn't lost a ton
- 1:58Speaker 4: of games. And he's gonna get hot offensively, and I
- 2:02Speaker 4: think they go hand in hand once he's swinging the
- 2:04Speaker 4: bat the way we know he's capable of. Last night,
- 2:06Speaker 4: he got a home run late in the game. Hopefully
- 2:09Speaker 4: it'll carry over Tomorrow we have a day game against
- 2:12Speaker 4: the Mets. But once this guy gets rolling, not only
- 2:15Speaker 4: is he gonna it's gonna solid it by his defense,
- 2:17Speaker 4: it's gonna make our lineup much better too. When he
- 2:19Speaker 4: gets on, all kinds of stuff happens. And you know
- 2:22Speaker 4: a lot of times when he's not hitting Schwarb and
- 2:25Speaker 4: Harper coming up with nobody on there, but he's he's
- 2:27Speaker 4: gonna hit. This guy can hit, and I think he's
- 2:30Speaker 4: gonna have a good what we call second half. There's
- 2:32Speaker 4: about what seventy games left. I think he's gonna do.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Okay, I want to go.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Down memory laying a little bit here, Charlie, and I
- 2:38Speaker 5: want to talk to you about the uh your tenure
- 2:41Speaker 5: as a manager here, I mean, obviously had an amazing run.
- 2:45Speaker 5: What was your shit other than obviously winning the World
- 2:48Speaker 5: Series in two thousand and eighties, what was like your
- 2:51Speaker 5: favorite thing to do while you were managing? Because you've done.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Everything, a lot of things in the game.
- 2:58Speaker 5: You've been in Japan, you played in the major leagues,
- 3:00Speaker 5: You've done a whole bunch of stuff. But as far
- 3:02Speaker 5: as what was your for some of your favorite moments
- 3:06Speaker 5: over the last you know, over over.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Your career, during the course of your career.
- 3:11Speaker 6: I think, uh, first of all, I love the game.
- 3:15Speaker 6: I love the gamut the game ever since I was
- 3:18Speaker 6: a little bullet, and I've been very fortunately lucky to
- 3:21Speaker 6: be able to stay around any game one time. And
- 3:26Speaker 6: uh I I the peacher, and I love to communicate
- 3:30Speaker 6: with the players. WILL like to most normal and I
- 3:34Speaker 6: like to like. But at the same time, I want
- 3:39Speaker 6: to be streaked enough we can be this one enough
- 3:42Speaker 6: to handle the game and being more be I like
- 3:47Speaker 6: specialist professionally.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I like this.
- 3:52Speaker 6: I think if if you a good this one person,
- 3:58Speaker 6: then you when you have a discipline was at the
- 4:01Speaker 6: play there in the field, when you play play on
- 4:03Speaker 6: the game. I think if you don't have no discipline,
- 4:07Speaker 6: that you're gonna have a hard time. I think that
- 4:09Speaker 6: when you go go up to plate the hit, I
- 4:13Speaker 6: think it's you be negative, not positive and things in
- 4:17Speaker 6: the run run doing your mind like well you you
- 4:20Speaker 6: know you hit yep and things, but you gotta be
- 4:25Speaker 6: totally relaxed thinking what she's want to do. And actually, uh,
- 4:30Speaker 6: I think if you really get down on that, when
- 4:33Speaker 6: you really concentrated, who's pitching don't really matter.
- 4:38Speaker 5: I totally agrees. So I'm just gonna say this, I'm
- 4:41Speaker 5: gonna throw this commercial with that. I spent a lot
- 4:43Speaker 5: of time with Charlie. Charlie was my hitting coach when
- 4:46Speaker 5: I was playing for the Cleveland Indians at the time.
- 4:49Speaker 5: I will tell you that Charlie Manuel was the hardest
- 4:51Speaker 5: working the hitting coach I'd ever seen. He not only
- 4:54Speaker 5: worked with me he was a terrible hitter, but he
- 4:56Speaker 5: worked with guys like Manny Fears and albut Bell.
- 4:59Speaker 2: And uh Jim told me and made them right rate hitters,
- 5:05Speaker 2: and in a lot of cases he helped make them
- 5:08Speaker 2: Hall of famers.
- 5:08Speaker 5: So I appreciate everything that you've done in the gage, Charlie,
- 5:12Speaker 5: and what you did for me and those players as well.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And Ruben and Charlie go way back. Ruben, I think
- 5:20Speaker 2: I quinn.
- 5:22Speaker 6: I think I.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Wool for guy.
- 5:26Speaker 6: Everybody who play baseball. You know me, when I see
- 5:30Speaker 6: supposed to guy, I'll say something. Micro pitcher mad.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Hey, I used to be in the minor leagues, but
- 5:38Speaker 7: I played in the minor leagues, said Charlie was the
- 5:40Speaker 7: manager for a team in Colorado, trans who's a Triple
- 5:43Speaker 7: A affiliate for the Cleveland Energy and Idiots, And when
- 5:47Speaker 7: other guys on other teams on our team would hit
- 5:50Speaker 7: home runs.
- 5:50Speaker 3: He would stand up and cheer for.
- 5:54Speaker 2: This starting pitcher's hating me problem. Charlie used to have
- 5:59Speaker 2: an expression, uh coach killing by you work with a
- 6:03Speaker 2: guy and he never gets any better. He's a coach killer.
- 6:07Speaker 3: That's what are you referring to?
- 6:09Speaker 4: Jimmy?
- 6:10Speaker 3: Who are you referring to?
- 6:11Speaker 6: Ruben Well? The man in Cleveland and somebody asked him
- 6:22Speaker 6: want a player? And Uh yeah, I didn't fall was
- 6:27Speaker 6: down on my marred or didn't like him, but I
- 6:30Speaker 6: do well.
- 6:30Speaker 3: He worked hard.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Personality, So let me ask you both know Ruben in
- 6:39Speaker 2: a lot of different ways.
- 6:40Speaker 8: But Larry, when you managed the ball, ball called the
- 6:44Speaker 8: assistant cham when you managed ball Cub Charlie, he's the GM.
- 6:47Speaker 8: What is the interaction like between the manager and the
- 6:51Speaker 8: GM in the front office at this time of year
- 6:55Speaker 8: when you have a good team that has flaws or
- 6:58Speaker 8: holes and the trade deadline is approaching.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Are you in there every day saying give me this,
- 7:02Speaker 2: give me this?
- 7:04Speaker 3: Uh?
- 7:05Speaker 4: I had when I managed I had Eddie Eddie Way.
- 7:08Speaker 4: I thought he did a great job. He was great
- 7:11Speaker 4: with me. He would come down and we talked before
- 7:15Speaker 4: every game. It wouldn't be a long chalk maybe five minutes.
- 7:18Speaker 4: And then if we're on the road. He didn't go
- 7:20Speaker 4: on every road trip. He would call and check in.
- 7:23Speaker 4: But as far as what you need and everything, it
- 7:26Speaker 4: has a lot to do with the money. Like when
- 7:29Speaker 4: I had that team, they didn't have the payroll wasn't
- 7:31Speaker 4: that big, and we were close in the three or
- 7:34Speaker 4: four years. We needed a little jolt and we really
- 7:37Speaker 4: didn't get it. One thing about John and the new owners,
- 7:42Speaker 4: they have that that money and they know that this
- 7:47Speaker 4: window here, I'm not saying it's closing, but it's it's
- 7:51Speaker 4: starting to go the other way.
- 7:53Speaker 3: And we got it.
- 7:54Speaker 4: We got a good lineup, we got good starting pitching,
- 7:57Speaker 4: and we got to fill in these voids here going
- 8:00Speaker 4: down the stretch. There's no question about that. But you know,
- 8:03Speaker 4: I think you don't have to ask the manager what
- 8:05Speaker 4: they need. I think they're very knowledgeable up there. They
- 8:08Speaker 4: know they know exactly what the Phillies need. Eddie knew
- 8:11Speaker 4: what the Phillies needed, and he was honest with me.
- 8:13Speaker 4: He says, we just we can't spend the money. Which hey,
- 8:16Speaker 4: as long as he was honest, that's all.
- 8:18Speaker 3: You can do.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Well, Larry Charlie, thanks so much for coming on the show.
- 8:24Speaker 2: We really appreciate a lot of fun. Legend.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Eli's Legend, Charlie, Manuel, Larry Bow, thanks so much, guys.

- 9:34Speaker 2: We got Tom McCarthy, Hey, Tom McCarthy.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Coming on the Police Show My Pleasure.
- 9:43Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I don't know about that. You're not a good listener.
- 9:47Speaker 3: If I'm gonna me your boss you Yeah. It is
- 9:51Speaker 3: in a pizza place at Maco Manco's with Jim Salisbury
- 9:54Speaker 3: Sandsbury TMC. Did you enjoy the All Star We I did.
- 10:00Speaker 3: I thought it was awesome. I thought everything I loved,
- 10:03Speaker 3: how good, how great the city looked. I really did.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I loved everything about that. I thought the stadium looked great.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Read I read somewhere that it's aged beautifully, and it
- 10:14Speaker 3: has aged beautifully. I thought Tyler Kettner's story about David
- 10:19Speaker 3: Montgomery was right on. I thought that was awesome. I
- 10:22Speaker 3: love that Fox acknowledged David as much as they did,
- 10:26Speaker 3: and I think that's a credit to the commissioner and
- 10:28Speaker 3: to Chuck Torres. You know, kind of you know, laid
- 10:31Speaker 3: that groundwork. So I think all everything that we always
- 10:34Speaker 3: thought was great about the city and about the stadium,
- 10:37Speaker 3: I think was was on display.
- 10:44Speaker 2: John count the Stellar Games.
- 10:48Speaker 5: Are there any particular call for Chig made and her
- 10:51Speaker 5: career that stand out more than the moments?
- 10:55Speaker 2: You see so many different moments?
- 10:57Speaker 5: Yeah, what's the mccallis, like, maybe top four or five
- 11:02Speaker 5: moments that you've had to call your career.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Well, Halliday's Perfect Game is number one, because that was
- 11:09Speaker 3: that was such an adrenaline rush to do that, And
- 11:12Speaker 3: it sounds strange to say it, but when he did it,
- 11:15Speaker 3: we didn't really have access to all the information that
- 11:18Speaker 3: we have now from a computer standpoint, so everything was
- 11:22Speaker 3: sort of filtered through Chris Wheeler's mind in all honesty
- 11:26Speaker 3: as far as the history of the game goes. So
- 11:28Speaker 3: we were kind of just going from there. But that,
- 11:32Speaker 3: to me, that was one of the greatest opportunities as
- 11:35Speaker 3: a broadcaster to do. And then the other game, even
- 11:40Speaker 3: though I wasn't on the call, I was on the
- 11:43Speaker 3: call was two thousand and eight when the Phillies clinched
- 11:46Speaker 3: the divisional crown. I was doing the game on Fox,
- 11:50Speaker 3: but they sent me down to the clubhouse to do
- 11:53Speaker 3: the interviews. So then Timmy did play by play McCarver
- 11:57Speaker 3: of the last out. Now, I would have loved to
- 12:00Speaker 3: have called the double play between Rollins and Utley and Howard,
- 12:04Speaker 3: but it was mcarver that did it. But the moment
- 12:07Speaker 3: was truly unbelievable to be part of. It, really was
- 12:10Speaker 3: truly unbelievable to be Farder. And then you know, there's
- 12:14Speaker 3: so many of them that in reality I probably have
- 12:18Speaker 3: forgotten more than I can remember. But the Harper Grand
- 12:21Speaker 3: Slam against the Cubs when the Phillies were just awful,
- 12:26Speaker 3: it was pretty cool because it was it was uh,
- 12:29Speaker 3: I mean, it was a game winning ground sledge, and
- 12:31Speaker 3: to watch him run around the bases was pretty neaty
- 12:34Speaker 3: on air.
- 12:35Speaker 5: When Derrett phill made an amazing catch in New York,
- 12:39Speaker 5: tell me about that catch.
- 12:40Speaker 3: That he made in the first inning, Well, that was
- 12:43Speaker 3: that is one of those where you always, like every game,
- 12:46Speaker 3: you have to realize that something special can happen, and
- 12:48Speaker 3: it can happen in the first inning. You know, to
- 12:51Speaker 3: see him do that and you can see it sort
- 12:54Speaker 3: of unfolding. It was kind of like his catch the
- 12:56Speaker 3: other day in Detroit where he made the diving play
- 12:58Speaker 3: in the gap in left center feet So to me,
- 13:02Speaker 3: that was a great I thought it was a great
- 13:06Speaker 3: education for any broadcaster to be ready at all times
- 13:09Speaker 3: because it was so early in the game. But to
- 13:11Speaker 3: watch it unfold, it was pretty neat.
- 13:14Speaker 2: It was pretty neat, right stump in a press box
- 13:17Speaker 2: and watching him close in on that ball and he's
- 13:19Speaker 2: probably like fifty feet away, and I'm saying to myself,
- 13:22Speaker 2: I think he's going to get that ball.
- 13:23Speaker 3: The way his stride was and everything. I agree with
- 13:26Speaker 3: you on that.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Yeah, second half just started on Thursday night.
- 13:29Speaker 8: Tom.
- 13:30Speaker 1: What has you, I guess, excited or optimistic about the
- 13:34Speaker 1: Phillies going to these final sixty plus games or so,
- 13:37Speaker 1: whatever the number is.
- 13:38Speaker 3: I think the biggest thing is the big three at
- 13:40Speaker 3: the top of the rotation, honestly, because I think that
- 13:43Speaker 3: they are doing something collectively that we haven't seen probably
- 13:48Speaker 3: since Halliday Lee Hammills. That group there, and it may
- 13:52Speaker 3: even exceed that. You know, the the er for Zach
- 13:55Speaker 3: Wheeler before the All Star break is second in Phillies
- 13:59Speaker 3: franchise history, and I think that he has knocked on
- 14:04Speaker 3: the cy Young door and it could be a special
- 14:07Speaker 3: second half for him individually.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I was joking the other day, you know, because Zach
- 14:10Speaker 1: obviously took it personally when a couple of weeks ago
- 14:13Speaker 1: and Don took him out of the game, went out
- 14:15Speaker 1: away from the wind, and now I was getting the
- 14:16Speaker 1: All Star snub. I said, JT's just got to tell
- 14:20Speaker 1: him in the bullpen before every game you realize you're
- 14:22Speaker 1: not an All Star, right, realize they're not good. Get
- 14:25Speaker 1: him nice and angry, get him lathered up, get him angry,
- 14:28Speaker 1: and have him go out mad.
- 14:29Speaker 3: And I believe he's one of the truly great stories
- 14:32Speaker 3: in Philly's history. The ascension of Zach Willard coming here.
- 14:38Speaker 8: It changed his whole career. He's just taking it to
- 14:40Speaker 8: a whole different Do you notice the difference in him dishes?
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yes.
- 14:44Speaker 3: So I have always felt, who's one of the better
- 14:46Speaker 3: people I've met in this game. He is a He's
- 14:49Speaker 3: an everyman person. They'll have a conversation about Chick fil A,
- 14:53Speaker 3: he'll have a conversation about Mike and Ike's, and he'll
- 14:57Speaker 3: have a deep conversation about baseball, do you know what
- 14:59Speaker 3: I mean? And you can speak to him kind of
- 15:02Speaker 3: like you could speak to Greg Maddox the day of
- 15:04Speaker 3: the game. It's no big deal, like he's out in
- 15:06Speaker 3: the dugout the whole time. But I have noticed an
- 15:09Speaker 3: even better appreciation of everything around the game this year,
- 15:13Speaker 3: and I think it's.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Uh.
- 15:15Speaker 3: I think it's enlightening for a lot of people, No doubt,
- 15:19Speaker 3: I think it's I think that's exactly. I think he
- 15:21Speaker 3: thought his career was over and he would not be
- 15:23Speaker 3: able to come from behind straight.
- 15:25Speaker 8: Him on in Cincinnati the other night after the game, right, yes,
- 15:28Speaker 8: And that was a great interview with him.
- 15:30Speaker 2: And I'm like, I don't know if they would do
- 15:32Speaker 2: this four years ago.
- 15:33Speaker 3: He will. He would normally do it if he completed
- 15:36Speaker 3: the game, but he would not normally do it if
- 15:37Speaker 3: it was seven innings. He would come back out, And
- 15:40Speaker 3: I know that, and I'm okay with that. I'm okay
- 15:43Speaker 3: with that.
- 15:43Speaker 2: So were you were you stunned them when he came back?
- 15:45Speaker 3: Oh no, oh no, No, I knew that he had
- 15:48Speaker 3: Oh he had something to.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Say, that's right. That was after the All Star snubbs.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I knew that there was something on his mind.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Here.
- 15:57Speaker 3: No, I didn't, but I did discuss it with somebody else.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Were you wondering what how exactly far he would go,
- 16:05Speaker 1: and Buddy, he would say.
- 16:06Speaker 3: He actually knew that he would keep it within you know,
- 16:08Speaker 3: within a within reason.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Yeah, but I think I agree with you, Tom. I
- 16:12Speaker 1: think he's a lot of fun to talk to. I mean,
- 16:13Speaker 1: there was a couple a couple of years ago before
- 16:16Speaker 1: I think the NLDS against the Braves. I'm in the
- 16:18Speaker 1: dugout and he comes down and he just starts talking
- 16:20Speaker 1: to me. I'm like, oh God, I hope no one
- 16:22Speaker 1: sees this is bad because they're gonna blame me for
- 16:26Speaker 1: talking to the starting pitcher. But obviously he went out
- 16:28Speaker 1: and pitched well.
- 16:29Speaker 2: But he he is that type of guy. He's not
- 16:32Speaker 2: don't look at me, don't talk to me before I pitch.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 2: I've had a few fast food conversations with him over
- 16:38Speaker 2: the years.
- 16:39Speaker 3: And you need to have exact change if you want
- 16:41Speaker 3: to buy snacks from his locker.
- 16:46Speaker 5: Question to Tom, because he have relationships and you built relationships.
- 16:51Speaker 2: With a lot of people in the game. With a
- 16:52Speaker 2: lot of players in the game, there are there a
- 16:56Speaker 2: couple of players.
- 16:57Speaker 5: Are a player that would steel like you have like
- 17:01Speaker 5: a really cool connection with that people would not know well.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I think he's one of them. Honestly, Zach, I really do.
- 17:08Speaker 3: It's funny the last couple of weeks I've run into
- 17:12Speaker 3: people from my days in Trenton, Okay, you know, and
- 17:16Speaker 3: I ran into you'll remember this one, Clyde pork Chop
- 17:21Speaker 3: Hugh the other day. He's Tom Gordon's cousin, so he
- 17:26Speaker 3: was at the game the other day. So for me,
- 17:30Speaker 3: I try, I still try to keep in touch with
- 17:33Speaker 3: as many players as I possibly can, just to say, Hey,
- 17:37Speaker 3: how's it going, or Hey, what did you think of this?
- 17:40Speaker 3: Because I do think their perspective is really cool to
- 17:43Speaker 3: know those things.
- 17:46Speaker 8: So, Tommy, I want to ask you, because you are
- 17:48Speaker 8: a keen observer of this ball, give me the top
- 17:53Speaker 8: three reasons for the turnarofs from nine to nineteen to
- 17:57Speaker 8: where they are now. And you know, you know your
- 18:01Speaker 8: opinions on all of it, because opinions vary on this topic. Yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 8: what spring sprung boards this team?
- 18:08Speaker 3: I believe what strongboard this team was getting rid of
- 18:11Speaker 3: the manager that shouldn't that they should have still they
- 18:13Speaker 3: should still have. Don's been great, but I think these
- 18:16Speaker 3: players were like, oh wait a minute, we got to
- 18:19Speaker 3: turn this on because in reality, this could change the
- 18:23Speaker 3: whole landscape of our clubhouse if we don't turn it around.
- 18:28Speaker 3: And I think that it doesn't matter how old we are.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't think it matters how accomplished
- 18:33Speaker 3: we are. That every once in a while we need
- 18:36Speaker 3: to get a right hook to the jaw. And I
- 18:39Speaker 3: do believe that that may have been one of the
- 18:41Speaker 3: I think we all thought this team was going to
- 18:43Speaker 3: play well now. I think they've exceeded expectations based on
- 18:47Speaker 3: nine to nineteen, but they haven't exceeded expectations based on
- 18:51Speaker 3: zero and zero in twenty twenty six. Yeah, I think
- 18:55Speaker 3: you know, just.
- 18:56Speaker 2: That that shock to the system really got them gound.
- 18:59Speaker 2: And you hear players say it's really not that much
- 19:00Speaker 2: difference with Don and Rob.
- 19:02Speaker 1: It's you know, you don't hear anybody like, well, this
- 19:04Speaker 1: is he's given us a kick in the butt that
- 19:06Speaker 1: we didn't get before.
- 19:07Speaker 3: It's they're kind of saying, that's you're kind of thing
- 19:10Speaker 3: that bigically bakeup wise, very similar. I think they're cut
- 19:15Speaker 3: from the Joe Tory cloth. I will say there's a
- 19:17Speaker 3: couple of things that I've noticed that are different. Don
- 19:20Speaker 3: does handle the bullpen differently than Rob does. Guys get
- 19:24Speaker 3: up and get heated and don't come into the game.
- 19:26Speaker 3: I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. Rob would
- 19:27Speaker 3: never normally do that. If you get up, you're coming
- 19:30Speaker 3: into the ball game. I think that's a little different.
- 19:32Speaker 3: I do think one thing that both of them are,
- 19:35Speaker 3: and I think maybe Don is exceedingly This is their frank,
- 19:39Speaker 3: Like they will say what is on their minds, and
- 19:43Speaker 3: he'll do it when he discusses things with you guys too.
- 19:46Speaker 8: He doesn't sugarcrow, he doesn't come off the top roll no, no, no.
- 19:52Speaker 8: But he also is, like you said, he's frank.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Did you say that for Ed? Is that why he
- 19:57Speaker 3: says that? Yeah?
- 20:00Speaker 2: I also think.
- 20:00Speaker 7: Another reason is what you know, you make a train
- 20:05Speaker 7: the worst time one of mine dies, there's time on
- 20:07Speaker 7: of mic hold on, hold.
- 20:08Speaker 3: On, Jimmy, well you can go.
- 20:12Speaker 8: That's you. You trade away Taiwan Walker and acquired Zach Wheeler.
- 20:16Speaker 8: That's a pretty fifth mortal.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, that's a good move.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Time good.
- 20:24Speaker 3: I don't know, I'm all discompopulated with my microphone here.
- 20:26Speaker 2: What's the first time you've ever used the microphone?
- 20:29Speaker 3: It is the first one time I've used one like this.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Well, we're very we're very advanced here.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I I think my ears are a
- 20:36Speaker 3: bit too big for this thing. Yeah, I do you
- 20:40Speaker 3: know your ears keep growing as you get older and
- 20:43Speaker 3: a little colder. You do get colder, yes, well, Tom,
- 20:47Speaker 3: thanks so much for coming on. Thank you guys,
