Latest / The Slippery Slope / Alex Berenson Reports: The first real evidence mRNA shots RAISE the risk of Covid hospitalization and death over time
Transcript
- 0:05Hi. I'm Jay felon and thank you for
- 0:07listening to the slippery slope. Well how is this for a headline?
- 0:11It comes from Alex berenson's unreported.
- 0:13Truths headline is the first real evidence mRNA shots?
- 0:19Raise the risk of covid hospitalization and death
- 0:23overtime. It's a bit of a scary headline,
- 0:26I think so. Apparently a big Swedish study
- 0:29offers fragmentary, but suggestive data.
- 0:33So on September. 20 using data which covers nine million
- 0:38people, Swedish researchers. Published a paper showing mRNA
- 0:43Jabs may increase the risk of Omicron infection after three
- 0:48months that finding received attention, but an even more
- 0:52intriguing nuggets in the paper has so far gone unnoticed.
- 0:56So based on one statistical analysis, vaccinated, people had
- 1:02a higher risk of death or hospitalization from covid
- 1:07roughly a year after receiving their second dose.
- 1:10So charts that were published in this report show that
- 1:14vaccination protection against death and hospitalization begins
- 1:19to decline slowly after about five months and then plunges
- 1:25about nine months in. So the data provides real world
- 1:29evidence of possible, vaccine caused antibody dependent in
- 1:35Instruments, otherwise known as IDE.
- 1:38So, in ad vaccines, cause our immune system to produce
- 1:44antibodies that help a virus or other pathogen to attack us,
- 1:49which is what a lot of scientists have been telling us
- 1:54is a possibility. However, in saying all this, the
- 1:58findings should not be viewed as definitive, okay?
- 2:03It is based on relatively few Deaths in the later time
- 2:07periods. So also when researchers used a
- 2:11different statistical method known as standard polynomial
- 2:16regression to analyze the data they found the vaccines remained
- 2:21moderately effective against hospitalizations and death.
- 2:25Isn't that comforting moderately effective?
- 2:28We're all forced to do well. I wasn't forced but you know
- 2:31we've all these millions and millions of people forced to
- 2:34take this Take this vaccine is moderately effective.
- 2:37Anyway, this is in fact, protection actually appeared to
- 2:42increase slightly around a year. A trend that is
- 2:45counter-intuitive at best. So doctor, Yi shoe, which is
- 2:51the, who is the papers lead author did not endorse either
- 2:55method as superior but said that research is needed more data to
- 3:02know which finding might be correct.
- 3:05Both types of analysis, provide more accurate estimates.
- 3:10If there is a sufficient number of cases, she wrote there are
- 3:14very few cases of death and a relatively low number of
- 3:18hospitalization, cases around week 40 and later.
- 3:22So the estimation is quite uncertain for both analysis.
- 3:26She says, so which statistical method is more likely to be
- 3:31accurate and is the finding that the It's actually increase risk,
- 3:37real. The that's the big question will
- 3:41and will big Pharma actually, let that information and ask.
- 3:44If it comes about that, it is actually raising the risk,
- 3:48increasing the risk. Well, independent experts on
- 3:51statistics disagreed. Well, and that's why they should
- 3:55stop calling people experts, really, because none of them
- 3:59ever agree. And yet, they're all trotted out
- 4:01on the TV screens as if they are expert.
- 4:04But Physically, I don't think so.
- 4:06Anyway, it says goes on to say that one suggested the technique
- 4:10showing the - efficacy called a cubed spline actually is likely
- 4:16to be more correct than the other.
- 4:19So, with standard or single polynomial, regression Blue
- 4:26Line, you can fit any data. If you give it enough Freedom,
- 4:30the price for that, is that the better?
- 4:32It fits the data. You give it the Worse.
- 4:35It will be at explaining new data and especially.
- 4:38So with the edges splines, due to the way they are built, avoid
- 4:44this problem and produce more and some more useful predictive
- 4:48models. However, another so-called
- 4:51expert wrote, I personally happen to believe strongly that
- 4:55these vaccines will have negative efficacy but as a
- 4:59statistician, I feel you simply cannot make that claim with
- 5:03confidence off the back. Of a spline like this, in any
- 5:08case, even the standard model shows, a sharp decrease in the
- 5:13value of a 2-dose regimen over time.
- 5:17Isn't that? Just so comforting if you've had
- 5:20those doses. So it also shows that it falls
- 5:24below 45% protection from Death around nine months before making
- 5:30it making it odd, upturn. So, The end of it all.
- 5:36Yes, mRNA vaccines will save you from dying from covid.
- 5:40Atleast for a couple of months. Isn't that just so comforting?
- 5:46And then like I said, if it turns out that these vaccines in
- 5:51the long run, doing more harm to your system, your immune system,
- 5:56then they should be then they're actually doing any good.
- 5:59Will big Pharma actually allow this information and we'll the
- 6:04government It's actually allow this information to come to
- 6:08light. I have some serious doubts, but
- 6:12hey, that's just my opinion. Thank you for listening, please
- 6:17share the slippery slope.
