- 0:13Speaker 1: Hello you guys, Welcome back to another episode of the
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hawkerel Energy Podcast. I'm your host, Kayleie, and this is
- 0:19Speaker 1: your weekly reminder that it's a new day, a new week,
- 0:21Speaker 1: a new mindset, and another day for you to become
- 0:24Speaker 1: the hawkeral energy you want to attract. Hello you guys,
- 0:27Speaker 1: welcome back to another episode. I did not record last week.
- 0:31Speaker 1: I was trying to transition the podcast to a new
- 0:35Speaker 1: platform and unfortunately it did not work. So now I
- 0:39Speaker 1: do hire an expert to figure it out. So we're
- 0:42Speaker 1: still on the current platform. But I actually talked to
- 0:46Speaker 1: a few of my podcast friends who are dealing with
- 0:49Speaker 1: the same issue, which a lot of you have told
- 0:51Speaker 1: me about the ads being louder than the microphone. Apparently
- 0:55Speaker 1: it's a very common issue with a lot of other podcasters,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and unfortunately, like there's not really much we can do.
- 1:03Speaker 1: The platform for some reason, just hasn't adjusted their volume
- 1:07Speaker 1: for the ads. I thought it was me and like
- 1:10Speaker 1: my microphone, but apparently it's not. Apparently it's like a
- 1:12Speaker 1: common thing. So anyways, I just wanted to address that
- 1:14Speaker 1: because I know some of you guys have said some
- 1:17Speaker 1: things about the mic stuff, but it's not the mic
- 1:19Speaker 1: it's actually the platform of the ads, and unfortunately I
- 1:22Speaker 1: can't do anything on my end, but I am trying
- 1:25Speaker 1: to transition to a new platform in hopes that the
- 1:28Speaker 1: ads will be more quiet and you guys don't have
- 1:30Speaker 1: to have it blaring in your ear. But other than that,
- 1:34Speaker 1: we're gonna have a good episode today. I actually have
- 1:38Speaker 1: my sister here. We are recording a podcast episode together. Hello,
- 1:41Speaker 1: she is back. We have not recorded an episode together
- 1:44Speaker 1: in such a long time. I think the last time
- 1:45Speaker 1: we recorded one was maybe Costa Rica post coost Rica.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, which would have been in January. Oh wow,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and we're starting four weeks ago. We're starting in May
- 1:55Speaker 1: this Friday. Guys, how is it May? Oh my god,
- 1:58Speaker 1: it's crazy. It's cool crazy. The weather is just starting
- 2:02Speaker 1: to become so nice. I mean, we have had a
- 2:06Speaker 1: few like rainy days. April's definitely been very, very rainy,
- 2:11Speaker 1: but the sun is out earlier, it's like brighter, Like
- 2:16Speaker 1: you can just feel the change and energy. The energy
- 2:19Speaker 1: is so good. It's so good. Like between now and
- 2:22Speaker 1: like the beginning of April, it's been like night and day. Yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 1: like no, our mood has been like so much better.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I feel like my energy on the podcast too, people
- 2:30Speaker 1: can just tell that it's like, wow, we're out of yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 1: the worst parts of the seasons. It's like the best part. Yeah,
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's finally the best part. So we're very, very excited
- 2:40Speaker 1: to be entering May. May is usually a really good
- 2:42Speaker 1: month for us for weatherwise. So we've had a few
- 2:45Speaker 1: nice days where we've been actually able to tan outside,
- 2:48Speaker 1: which is wild. I don't remember the last time I
- 2:51Speaker 1: was able to tan in April. Days that like literally
- 2:53Speaker 1: feel like it's mid June, mid July, Like it just
- 2:57Speaker 1: literally feels like a summer day. And I could you
- 3:00Speaker 1: not Like we and Kaalie are both just like the
- 3:03Speaker 1: happiest ever too. Yeah, we are just a little bit
- 3:06Speaker 1: of those days feel so good. Yeah, we have been
- 3:08Speaker 1: on a high these past few weeks of just having
- 3:11Speaker 1: nice weather and it feels so great. For today's episode,
- 3:14Speaker 1: we really wanted to talk about success and how we
- 3:17Speaker 1: get to that point in our life where we feel
- 3:20Speaker 1: like we've reached the successful point that we wanted to reach.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But we all start from somewhere. We all start from
- 3:26Speaker 1: a point where we kind of feel cringe or embarrassed
- 3:31Speaker 1: or awkward. But I think the whole point of being
- 3:34Speaker 1: embarrassing or being cringe or being awkward is because we
- 3:37Speaker 1: all start from somewhere and eventually we get to the
- 3:40Speaker 1: point where we're the blueprint and we're the success that
- 3:44Speaker 1: we wanted to be for ourselves. So we kind of
- 3:46Speaker 1: wanted to chat about some things that you can do
- 3:50Speaker 1: if you're in this phase in your life where you
- 3:51Speaker 1: are trying to figure out your life or your career,
- 3:55Speaker 1: or your passions or your hobbies and you don't know
- 3:57Speaker 1: where to start in terms of becoming six scessful at it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: We're going to kind of chat about from the start
- 4:02Speaker 1: to the end of how you can become a very
- 4:05Speaker 1: successful person in becoming the version of yourself that you
- 4:08Speaker 1: strive to become. Okay, So we're going to just start
- 4:10Speaker 1: off with a blank question because I feel like my
- 4:14Speaker 1: sister and I can definitely relate on this in the
- 4:17Speaker 1: sense where we have different ways of success. Yeah, but
- 4:21Speaker 1: it's because we're in two different phases in our life
- 4:23Speaker 1: as well, and we also have very big differences just
- 4:26Speaker 1: kind of like very different passions and strengths. But I
- 4:30Speaker 1: think we're both very successful in different ways. Okay, So
- 4:33Speaker 1: I'm going to ask us a question, She'll ask it
- 4:35Speaker 1: to me after the fact, or I'll just say my
- 4:37Speaker 1: response after the fact. But what are cringe moments that
- 4:40Speaker 1: we had that you felt embarrassed in the moment? Like,
- 4:43Speaker 1: is there anything that you can think of that was
- 4:44Speaker 1: embarrassing that you did that you may have learned from,
- 4:49Speaker 1: or something that you're still working towards and something that
- 4:52Speaker 1: you hope to be successful at one at one point
- 4:54Speaker 1: in your life, Like, is there anything that you can
- 4:56Speaker 1: think of? Well, I think a few things come to
- 4:58Speaker 1: mind in terms of a career change. I actually so
- 5:05Speaker 1: prior to my job now, I was doing my masters,
- 5:08Speaker 1: and after I finished my masters, I had no idea
- 5:14Speaker 1: what I wanted to do. And even though this is
- 5:17Speaker 1: something that everybody experiences, and I wouldn't say it's necessarily
- 5:24Speaker 1: something that's cringe or embarrassing, but something that is hard
- 5:29Speaker 1: and something that not a lot of people talk about
- 5:33Speaker 1: and that can actually help you grow. Is that period
- 5:36Speaker 1: in your life where you have no job and you're
- 5:39Speaker 1: like looking for a job, and I guess it is
- 5:42Speaker 1: a little embarrassing in a way because it's like, oh,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I'm unemployed, right, And it can be really really difficult
- 5:49Speaker 1: to also navigate what it is you want to do,
- 5:52Speaker 1: Like you see so many people who well not saying
- 5:56Speaker 1: that everybody has their shit together, but like you may
- 5:59Speaker 1: think that everybody has their shit together, and like you don't.
- 6:02Speaker 1: And yeah, so I feel like that was definitely maybe
- 6:07Speaker 1: like a little bit of a cringe period or embarrassing
- 6:10Speaker 1: period of my life. But I actually learned so much
- 6:14Speaker 1: about myself and so much about what it is I
- 6:18Speaker 1: want to do and like where I want my career
- 6:20Speaker 1: to take me, and not saying even the career I'm
- 6:23Speaker 1: in now is something I'm insanely passionate about or something
- 6:28Speaker 1: that I want to do for the rest of my life.
- 6:30Speaker 1: But I figured it out and it really did help
- 6:33Speaker 1: me grow, and not necessarily on the career side of things,
- 6:38Speaker 1: but also when it comes to dating, I feel like
- 6:42Speaker 1: it can be really really cringe to be on the
- 6:45Speaker 1: dating apps, and just like dating in general, and like
- 6:48Speaker 1: first dates are always so awkward, and yeah, dating apps
- 6:54Speaker 1: can be embarrassing too, So yeah, I feel like that's
- 6:58Speaker 1: also something I'm navigating right now, and it's embarrassing, but
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's also like how else am I supposed to meet
- 7:06Speaker 1: a husband? Right and I want to get married I
- 7:09Speaker 1: want to have kids, and that's kind of the only
- 7:12Speaker 1: way to go about it, right. You know, it's possible
- 7:15Speaker 1: to meet people organically, but it also is very difficult.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So yeah, I feel like those are some things that
- 7:23Speaker 1: I feel like I've felt embarrassed about. But dating has
- 7:27Speaker 1: also taught me a lot, like dating other people has
- 7:31Speaker 1: helped me realize what I like, what I don't like,
- 7:35Speaker 1: And yeah, I'm still it's still something I'm navigating, but
- 7:38Speaker 1: I would say those are some things that I guess
- 7:42Speaker 1: we're like cringe moments or embarrassing things. Yeah, and like
- 7:46Speaker 1: to build off of that, I can kind of see
- 7:48Speaker 1: it in a situation where like how you felt embarrassed
- 7:51Speaker 1: or cringe when you know you're with your girlfriends and
- 7:54Speaker 1: you're out dinner and they're like, oh my god, so
- 7:56Speaker 1: like let's catch up. How's life And then it's like, oh,
- 7:58Speaker 1: like so, what are you doing for work now? And
- 8:00Speaker 1: it's like, oh, I'm currently unemployed. Like it almost like
- 8:03Speaker 1: feels like you're losing confidence in yourself or like people
- 8:06Speaker 1: always asking like, oh, did you find a job yet?
- 8:09Speaker 1: Did you find a job, and it's like no, like
- 8:11Speaker 1: it took me, Like I want to say six months,
- 8:15Speaker 1: which is even on like the faster end, like yes,
- 8:18Speaker 1: the job market is so so difficult and yeah yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 1: And I think even like same thing with dating, like
- 8:25Speaker 1: oh my god, are you seeing someone? Like no, And
- 8:27Speaker 1: again it's kind of like you feel like you lose
- 8:29Speaker 1: confidence in yourself when you say that. But at the
- 8:31Speaker 1: same time, I feel like, as you said, like giving
- 8:35Speaker 1: this time for yourself and almost like changing your perspective
- 8:38Speaker 1: of being like this is my moment of independence and
- 8:41Speaker 1: realizing like, Okay, I'm taking my time to realize what
- 8:44Speaker 1: I want for myself. Who do I want in my life?
- 8:46Speaker 1: What kind of man do I see myself marrying? Like
- 8:48Speaker 1: you're not rushing into something that you think, Oh, like
- 8:50Speaker 1: I just want to be with someone because I want
- 8:52Speaker 1: to say that I have a blue friend or I
- 8:54Speaker 1: have a husband or whatever. I really really like what
- 8:56Speaker 1: you said about changing the perspective of it, where instead
- 8:59Speaker 1: of being like, oh, I don't have my shit together,
- 9:02Speaker 1: like I don't have anything figured out, I don't have
- 9:05Speaker 1: a job, I don't have a boyfriend, it's like, well,
- 9:07Speaker 1: now I get to pick whatever I want. I get
- 9:10Speaker 1: to pick whatever career it is I want. I get
- 9:12Speaker 1: to pick whatever guy it is, I want like you
- 9:16Speaker 1: have full full control in your life. See it in
- 9:20Speaker 1: that way, I completely change the perspective of it. It's
- 9:23Speaker 1: all about the perspective. And same thing with the career.
- 9:25Speaker 1: As you said, it gives you time to actually like
- 9:29Speaker 1: follow through on the job that you want instead of
- 9:31Speaker 1: just rushing into something because you wanted to make a
- 9:33Speaker 1: lot of money. If you have the opportunity to take
- 9:37Speaker 1: some time off financially, to spend a month or two
- 9:41Speaker 1: to figure out, Okay, what are my passions, what are
- 9:43Speaker 1: my strengths, What do I actually want to put my
- 9:45Speaker 1: full energy towards in a career for myself? Like when
- 9:48Speaker 1: you're able to do that, that's such a blessing. And
- 9:51Speaker 1: again all about the mindset shift, all about the perspective
- 9:54Speaker 1: shift of like, I am doing this for myself because
- 9:58Speaker 1: in the long run, it's going to be worth it
- 10:00Speaker 1: because I'm going to see more success out of it
- 10:02Speaker 1: because I'm going to actually love what I do. Or
- 10:04Speaker 1: again finding the person that you want for yourself because
- 10:07Speaker 1: you're actually gonna probably end up being with this person
- 10:10Speaker 1: for a longer period of time because you realize what
- 10:13Speaker 1: you wanted in a person. And also to going back
- 10:16Speaker 1: to kind of like the embarrassing part of it, like
- 10:20Speaker 1: you know, not having a boyfriend or not having a job,
- 10:23Speaker 1: and like feeling like people are judging you for that.
- 10:27Speaker 1: That's literally what's holding you back by letting people like
- 10:31Speaker 1: you shouldn't care about what other people think. Now, if
- 10:35Speaker 1: having no job right now is what makes you happy
- 10:38Speaker 1: because you haven't found your passion, stay unemployed, you know,
- 10:42Speaker 1: I think it's so important to not rush into something.
- 10:47Speaker 1: You know, I get it that obviously, you know, financial
- 10:50Speaker 1: you need money things like that, but also too, I
- 10:53Speaker 1: think it's important to not rush into something that doesn't
- 10:58Speaker 1: feel right or seeing in a job. You know. Another
- 11:01Speaker 1: great example, not necessarily something that's happened to me, but
- 11:04Speaker 1: I know maybe people could relate to is being in
- 11:09Speaker 1: an awful job and wanting to quit, but you're too embarrassed. Yeah, right,
- 11:12Speaker 1: Like that's another thing you're too embarrassed to quit, or
- 11:17Speaker 1: you know, you're you're too worried about what's going to
- 11:20Speaker 1: happen next if you can find another job, which are
- 11:22Speaker 1: all understandable reasons, but I also think too, it's important
- 11:26Speaker 1: to follow what makes you happy, and like it sounds
- 11:32Speaker 1: kind of cheesy to say it, but like follow your gut, Like,
- 11:34Speaker 1: if your gut's telling you this is not what I
- 11:36Speaker 1: want to do, you should definitely follow it one hundred percent.
- 11:40Speaker 1: And to build off that point, if you think about
- 11:43Speaker 1: when you are in a job where it's like you
- 11:45Speaker 1: hate and like you're too embarrassed or too uncomfortable to quit,
- 11:49Speaker 1: or it's because you're too comfortable, Yeah, you're too comfortable
- 11:52Speaker 1: with wanting to just stay because it's like, Okay, well
- 11:56Speaker 1: you know I make good money. It's too familiar. It's
- 11:59Speaker 1: you know, I've been with the same people for a
- 12:00Speaker 1: long period of time, and like I've built a routine
- 12:02Speaker 1: around that, So I'm just going to stay because like
- 12:04Speaker 1: this is where my comfort spot is. Well, you can't
- 12:07Speaker 1: grow if exactly want to change. And it's the same
- 12:10Speaker 1: with dating, Like some people may be staying in relationships
- 12:13Speaker 1: because it's familiar, because it's comfortable, but they know deep
- 12:16Speaker 1: down in their gut, yeah, this is not my person.
- 12:19Speaker 1: But they don't want to be single because it's cringe,
- 12:21Speaker 1: it's embarrassing. When you'll actually gain more out of being single,
- 12:27Speaker 1: and you'll learn way more about yourself and in the
- 12:30Speaker 1: long run, actually end up being more successful because you
- 12:34Speaker 1: end up finding that person that is the right fit,
- 12:39Speaker 1: is your person, is the one that you had dreamed
- 12:42Speaker 1: about forever. This whole like comfortable conversation is something that
- 12:47Speaker 1: I feel like I'm going through currently. I feel like
- 12:49Speaker 1: last year I turned twenty nine, it was my first
- 12:52Speaker 1: year married. You know, Zach and I were looking for
- 12:55Speaker 1: a new house whatever. I felt like I was in
- 12:57Speaker 1: this period of time in my life where I'm like, Okay,
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm comfortable, but I'm also like trying to figure things
- 13:02Speaker 1: out for myself right like, I was doing different things whatever.
- 13:04Speaker 1: These past like six months, I have been probably the
- 13:09Speaker 1: most comfortable where I feel like I'm like, Okay, I
- 13:11Speaker 1: got the house figured out. You know, I turned thirty,
- 13:15Speaker 1: Like I feel like now I'm like, okay, what's next,
- 13:18Speaker 1: And like, yeah, when I get in that mindset, I
- 13:21Speaker 1: feel like I start to lose myself a bit. And
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm starting to realize that it's because oh, you're too comfortable.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You need to make a change, and in order to change,
- 13:31Speaker 1: you need to grow as a person. And so that's
- 13:33Speaker 1: why I feel like, this is why I feel like, Okay,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I'm ready to take on motherhood and I'm ready to
- 13:38Speaker 1: take on like this next phase of my life because
- 13:40Speaker 1: I can tell that I'm getting too comfortable with where
- 13:42Speaker 1: I'm at now, and even those changes scary. I also
- 13:47Speaker 1: think like in order to be successful and like see
- 13:50Speaker 1: the success that you want in yourself, I think it
- 13:53Speaker 1: needs to change. It's important to make that change and
- 13:55Speaker 1: figure out, Okay, what is that change for yourself? Well,
- 13:58Speaker 1: and even for me too. I've feel like I can
- 14:00Speaker 1: relate to that as well. With even my own job
- 14:04Speaker 1: that I have currently, I feel like day to day
- 14:07Speaker 1: I'm starting to feel a bit too comfortable, and I
- 14:12Speaker 1: am wanting that change. I am wanting to grow and
- 14:15Speaker 1: whether it may not necessarily be within my job, but
- 14:19Speaker 1: within life as a whole, and I still haven't figured
- 14:23Speaker 1: that out, sort of like that missing puzzle piece, and
- 14:27Speaker 1: I'm excited about figuring that out. So, if you're in
- 14:29Speaker 1: a place in your life where you feel like you've
- 14:31Speaker 1: been in like a comfort zone and you feel like
- 14:34Speaker 1: there's like something that you feel like is missing or
- 14:37Speaker 1: something that you are thinking about, but like are too
- 14:40Speaker 1: scared to jump to that conclusion, whether it's like getting
- 14:44Speaker 1: back in the dating world, you know, going into motherhood
- 14:47Speaker 1: or parenthood, wanting to do a major career change, like
- 14:52Speaker 1: when you realize that you're too comfortable when you're in
- 14:54Speaker 1: this situation. That is the sign where it's like, Okay,
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm ready for my next chapter. I'm ready for this
- 15:00Speaker 1: next era of myself. And it's honestly when you feel
- 15:04Speaker 1: like something is missing, at least for me. Yes, I've
- 15:07Speaker 1: felt these past few weeks. I'm like, Okay, something is missing,
- 15:12Speaker 1: Like what is it that's missing? And like I said,
- 15:15Speaker 1: I still haven't figured that out, and that's okay, and
- 15:17Speaker 1: I'm excited to figure that out. As I was saying,
- 15:19Speaker 1: I feel like there's a missing piece, a missing puzzle piece,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and I haven't figured that out yet, and that's okay.
- 15:27Speaker 1: And I'm learning right now and trying to navigate what
- 15:31Speaker 1: that missing piece is. And it could just be something
- 15:35Speaker 1: as simple as starting a new habit in my life,
- 15:38Speaker 1: Like I am really trying to figure out, okay, what
- 15:41Speaker 1: makes me happy? What is something I'm passionate about. And
- 15:45Speaker 1: it doesn't necessarily have to be my career, but I
- 15:49Speaker 1: can find something that I can integrate into my life
- 15:54Speaker 1: so easily that you know, brings me joy, whether it's
- 15:58Speaker 1: you know, posting online like I've been posting more tiktoks
- 16:02Speaker 1: online or I don't know, just like certain things, yeah
- 16:05Speaker 1: that I feel like could be small in life that
- 16:09Speaker 1: you can just integrate. Madison just keeps going and going.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, we're just gonna cut it off here
- 16:15Speaker 1: because she's like, I gotta keep talking. I'm like, no,
- 16:17Speaker 1: you don't. You can just cut it off there. Done
- 16:19Speaker 1: this in a while. Clearly, I love it. I love
- 16:22Speaker 1: it speaking about like you posting on TikTok consistently. I
- 16:25Speaker 1: think that's great because I know you love social media
- 16:28Speaker 1: just as much as I love social media, and I
- 16:30Speaker 1: think maybe like also seeing me in this influencer space,
- 16:35Speaker 1: it may have like inspired you where yeah, oh look
- 16:37Speaker 1: at her, like she's getting pr she's getting work opportunities,
- 16:41Speaker 1: Like Okay, maybe this can allow me to have a
- 16:43Speaker 1: little bit of something similar to that in my life,
- 16:46Speaker 1: if that's something that you're passionate about. But I guess
- 16:48Speaker 1: that kind of brings me back to the question of, like,
- 16:50Speaker 1: what's a cringe moment that I've had in my life.
- 16:53Speaker 1: I feel like was embarrassing that I grew from was
- 16:57Speaker 1: obviously posting on social media like that was a huge
- 17:00Speaker 1: thing for me when I was twenty one. I found
- 17:04Speaker 1: a love for twenty one twenty one. Well, no, no, no,
- 17:07Speaker 1: it was twenty five. Oh when I started, I was
- 17:09Speaker 1: gonna say, I thought it was twenty five. Twenty one
- 17:11Speaker 1: was when I like kind of fell in love with YouTube. Yeah, YouTubers,
- 17:14Speaker 1: like kind of like falling in love with the influencer space.
- 17:18Speaker 1: And you know the story I was in Paris was
- 17:21Speaker 1: Zach and I literally brought his brother's camera to vlog.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I took one video of myself and I literally in
- 17:28Speaker 1: that moment I played the clip, I looked at myself.
- 17:31Speaker 1: I said, oh my god, I am awful. And I
- 17:35Speaker 1: don't even hold them about Dominican and that video. You
- 17:39Speaker 1: I forgot about that Baily when she was were you
- 17:42Speaker 1: twenty This is wait, this is twenty sixteen. This is
- 17:45Speaker 1: the what's your face? What was that phase that we
- 17:47Speaker 1: had the Alexis Wren and Jay. Yes, the music, the
- 17:52Speaker 1: esthetic video, It's okay, let's talk about that. That was
- 17:55Speaker 1: the story, the vibe. Anyways, we go on this trip,
- 18:00Speaker 1: like we would always go on family trips, and I
- 18:02Speaker 1: think Zach came. I don't know, No, we weren't even dating this, No,
- 18:07Speaker 1: no way, I don't think we were dating. You were
- 18:09Speaker 1: definitely dating Kilee. I was sixteen and twenty sixteen. Oh okay,
- 18:12Speaker 1: then yeah, we started dating Zach when I was like
- 18:14Speaker 1: three year right, we were dating. I don't know if
- 18:15Speaker 1: he was there or not. He was like he wasn't
- 18:17Speaker 1: there something I don't know. Anyways, Kaylee decides she wants
- 18:22Speaker 1: to make a video, an aesthetic an esthetic video, and
- 18:26Speaker 1: like just picture the music is like that Alexis wren
- 18:32Speaker 1: Jay like that. I don't even know how to describe
- 18:35Speaker 1: that kind of music. Hecky, yeah, like I don't know,
- 18:38Speaker 1: twenty sixteen vibe. But it was not giving. If I'm
- 18:43Speaker 1: not giving, I'm talking like footage under the water, like
- 18:47Speaker 1: of us swimming with fish, talking like panoramic view of
- 18:51Speaker 1: the palm trees, remember me walking in the trails like
- 18:55Speaker 1: it was just awful. Everything about it was not giving.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Alexis ren Or you did not make YouTube. Well, just
- 19:02Speaker 1: let's say I think I've deleted it. I've actually deleted
- 19:05Speaker 1: it from my memory, and then you just wrote it
- 19:07Speaker 1: back up. I always bring it up in case she forgets. Yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 1: I mean we used to record YouTube videos when Justin
- 19:13Speaker 1: Bieber had THO. We'd like, oh yeah, lyric videos or
- 19:17Speaker 1: singing videos Dan sing videos obviously, like filming has always
- 19:21Speaker 1: just been a part of our We used to actually
- 19:23Speaker 1: have like a photo booth camera in our office that
- 19:27Speaker 1: we used to use. And like, I was like, never
- 19:30Speaker 1: a singer, but like I you thought you were, well,
- 19:34Speaker 1: I wanted to know, you know, when you just I'm
- 19:36Speaker 1: sure people can relate to this, when you just want
- 19:39Speaker 1: to know if you're a good singer or not. I
- 19:43Speaker 1: used to record myself singing yeah, and I would listen
- 19:46Speaker 1: to it back and I'd be like, yeah, I'm not
- 19:48Speaker 1: a good singer. Yeah, I've discovered that this is not
- 19:50Speaker 1: my passion. Okay, you figure it out. But anyways, the
- 19:55Speaker 1: point is that I've always had this passion for filming,
- 19:57Speaker 1: and so I never really took it seriously until twenty
- 20:00Speaker 1: twenty five. And I feel like there was a switch
- 20:02Speaker 1: where I just almost didn't care what I looked like
- 20:04Speaker 1: or didn't care what other people thought. But again in
- 20:06Speaker 1: the beginning, I was embarrassed I didn't follow through with it.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I decided to just like not do it anymore. And
- 20:12Speaker 1: then I was like, you know what, No, I do
- 20:13Speaker 1: really love this. I'm just going to try and do
- 20:16Speaker 1: it I have to change my perspective of like, Okay,
- 20:18Speaker 1: don't care what you look like, don't care what other
- 20:20Speaker 1: people think. If you love it, then keep doing it
- 20:23Speaker 1: and see where you get out of it. And that's
- 20:25Speaker 1: kind of where it comes into the play of like
- 20:27Speaker 1: being consistent at something, and that's where success comes at
- 20:30Speaker 1: it because I consistently posted for two years and like
- 20:35Speaker 1: every single day I'd show up, i'd take out my iPhone,
- 20:38Speaker 1: i'd film footage, I'd post it hard, which is really
- 20:41Speaker 1: hard to consistently show up. And that's where the success
- 20:45Speaker 1: became a thing because I didn't stop. I kept going.
- 20:48Speaker 1: But I also think too, when it's something that you're
- 20:51Speaker 1: passionate about and something you really really want, you're like
- 20:54Speaker 1: excited to do it, whether it's every single day or consistently,
- 20:58Speaker 1: like you you want to sh show up every single
- 21:01Speaker 1: day because it's something that you're so passionate about, and
- 21:04Speaker 1: it goes to show that like my confidence didn't just
- 21:08Speaker 1: like it didn't just come out of nowhere. I think
- 21:09Speaker 1: because I was so passionate about this and was so
- 21:12Speaker 1: in love with filming and influencing and all that it
- 21:16Speaker 1: just like I proved myself over time that it's like, no,
- 21:19Speaker 1: I am good at this. Eventually I realized that I'm like, no,
- 21:22Speaker 1: this is something I love. This is something I'm good at.
- 21:24Speaker 1: And that's how you kind of build the confidence of like,
- 21:26Speaker 1: I don't care what people think. I'm just gonna keep
- 21:28Speaker 1: doing and keep doing it. And that's kind of like
- 21:29Speaker 1: how it got built. And also too, I think it's
- 21:32Speaker 1: important to remember, like not to compare yourselves to other people, like,
- 21:37Speaker 1: especially when it comes to influencing, to people who have
- 21:41Speaker 1: been in it for years and years and years. Like,
- 21:43Speaker 1: let's say you really want to become an influencer. It's
- 21:46Speaker 1: something you're super passionate about, but you film one video
- 21:48Speaker 1: and you're like, ough, this doesn't look like you know
- 21:51Speaker 1: the other influencers videos, They at one point started from
- 21:55Speaker 1: square one. Just because their videos now look amazing, asteatic
- 22:00Speaker 1: and whatever in yours do don't. That doesn't mean you
- 22:03Speaker 1: can't get there, exactly, and you shouldn't stop posting if
- 22:07Speaker 1: it's something you're incredibly passionate about because oh my videos
- 22:11Speaker 1: look bad. They don't look like so and So's videos
- 22:14Speaker 1: or whatever. Yeah, so true. They all start from somewhere.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Yeah exactly. I want to talk about a recent thing
- 22:20Speaker 1: that people have been talking about all over social media
- 22:22Speaker 1: that just kind of goes hand in hand with this
- 22:24Speaker 1: conversation about you know, being successful and like starting somewhere
- 22:27Speaker 1: and getting to the point where you were. If you
- 22:30Speaker 1: guys are on TikTok, I'm sure you guys know acquired style.
- 22:32Speaker 1: She's a twin and she recently was on her baucherette trip,
- 22:37Speaker 1: and the entire bachelorette trip was sponsored by a beauty
- 22:42Speaker 1: brand called Swan Beauty, which no one has ever heard of,
- 22:46Speaker 1: yea until this bacherette trip, which is wild. I was like,
- 22:49Speaker 1: I literally called Kale. I was like, have you heard
- 22:51Speaker 1: of this friendly? Yeah, I've never used this brand? Right,
- 22:53Speaker 1: And then this brand gave her a private jet, they
- 22:57Speaker 1: paid for her entire villa for her bacherette. Yeah, they
- 23:00Speaker 1: did everything like beach clubs and itinerary for them, Like
- 23:04Speaker 1: everything was covered and so she got ripped apart in
- 23:08Speaker 1: the mine for like, this is such a like she's
- 23:11Speaker 1: just trying to flex because she's an influencer and she's
- 23:13Speaker 1: rich or like this is not relatable whatsoever. This is
- 23:16Speaker 1: like super out of touch and like I totally get it.
- 23:19Speaker 1: It is very out of touch, Like getting it die
- 23:21Speaker 1: relatable and not relatable, getting that villa whatever. But I
- 23:24Speaker 1: think it also goes to show that, like she's an
- 23:27Speaker 1: influencer that started from a point in her life where
- 23:30Speaker 1: she was just posting photos and like it wasn't really
- 23:34Speaker 1: a big influencer at all at the time. Like she
- 23:36Speaker 1: grew her platform over the past few years to become
- 23:40Speaker 1: very successful at it. And I think this trip for
- 23:43Speaker 1: her and my eyes was like, this is what I've
- 23:45Speaker 1: worked hard for the past five years for, is that
- 23:47Speaker 1: I was able to get the opportunity of a brand
- 23:50Speaker 1: to sponsor my baucherette because I worked my freaking ass
- 23:53Speaker 1: off these past five years to grow my audience, to
- 23:56Speaker 1: grow my platform. And it wasn't to like show off,
- 23:59Speaker 1: It was more so to show that like what her
- 24:02Speaker 1: work was able to provide her was something that she
- 24:05Speaker 1: worked really hard towards. And I find that inspiring for myself,
- 24:08Speaker 1: like seeing that, like as an influencer who you know,
- 24:12Speaker 1: follows other influencers who are really successful at what they do,
- 24:15Speaker 1: Like I see that in my eyes as like, wow,
- 24:17Speaker 1: that's very well deserved, Like she deserves that because she's
- 24:21Speaker 1: worked her freaking ass off to get to that point,
- 24:23Speaker 1: and also too, I feel like people have to remember
- 24:26Speaker 1: that success looks different for everything. Yes, so that was
- 24:30Speaker 1: success for her because of where she is in her career.
- 24:34Speaker 1: And once again to also point out, like I just
- 24:38Speaker 1: said before, she started from somewhere. She started from square one,
- 24:41Speaker 1: and she built her way to this point and that's
- 24:44Speaker 1: what success in her life now looks for her. So
- 24:48Speaker 1: doesn't mean that it's the same success for you, because
- 24:53Speaker 1: it's obviously not. Like Kaylie said, it's not something that
- 24:57Speaker 1: is relatable to every single person. And just because that's
- 25:02Speaker 1: not what success looks like for you, doesn't mean that's
- 25:05Speaker 1: not something you can achieve. Yeah, And like, if you
- 25:08Speaker 1: feel indifferent about that situation, that's totally fine. As Madison said,
- 25:12Speaker 1: success looks different for everyone. If you have a goal
- 25:15Speaker 1: in your life that you want to be successful at
- 25:17Speaker 1: and it's not something like what I went through, that
- 25:21Speaker 1: is totally okay. We all have different views and versions
- 25:25Speaker 1: of how we want our success to look like. Yeah,
- 25:28Speaker 1: and I think that's very much okay to like not
- 25:30Speaker 1: feel okay with like what happened. But like, I also
- 25:33Speaker 1: don't think like shaming women online about like something that
- 25:36Speaker 1: they've wanted for themselves, is okay, Like I think we
- 25:39Speaker 1: should be supporting other women. I'm all about supporting women
- 25:42Speaker 1: and supporting their wants in life and their successful moments
- 25:46Speaker 1: in life. And I feel like that was a moment
- 25:47Speaker 1: where it's like she wanted that for herself. You could
- 25:49Speaker 1: tell that's what she wanted, and seeing other women tear
- 25:52Speaker 1: her down was like kind of sad. So it's like, well,
- 25:54Speaker 1: for you, that might not be something that you wanted
- 25:57Speaker 1: for your success or like maybe it's jealousy. I know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I like, let her live this successful moment in her
- 26:03Speaker 1: life she's proud of. You can clearly tell she was
- 26:05Speaker 1: very beyond Arybaul and like you can just tell that
- 26:08Speaker 1: it was her emotions were so real of like this
- 26:11Speaker 1: is trulya pinchery moment on like she was shocked that
- 26:15Speaker 1: she like was a opportunity like this. But she also
- 26:17Speaker 1: made it clear that it's like she wouldn't have been
- 26:19Speaker 1: there without her followers or just her powers to get
- 26:22Speaker 1: her there. So that's probably an influencer that I like
- 26:24Speaker 1: love to follow and like I'm very inspired by for myself.
- 26:27Speaker 1: So anyways, I just wanted to add that in because
- 26:29Speaker 1: I think it's like kind of a recent thing that
- 26:31Speaker 1: people have been talking about on TikTok that's like a
- 26:33Speaker 1: recent success for her specifically of being in the influencing industry.
- 26:38Speaker 1: And like, I think you following people on social media
- 26:42Speaker 1: or like what you consume on a daily basis, whether
- 26:44Speaker 1: it's like someone in your life that's maybe a business
- 26:47Speaker 1: owner or your boss or maybe a friend, Like I
- 26:50Speaker 1: think what really matters is the environment that you put
- 26:52Speaker 1: yourself in and what you consume. And that's something for
- 26:55Speaker 1: me that I see as motivation. Like I love to
- 26:59Speaker 1: follow business owners on social media. I love to follow
- 27:01Speaker 1: other influencers like Bridget who went on this insane trip
- 27:06Speaker 1: you know that a brand covered, Like I love to
- 27:08Speaker 1: follow women that I truly think are visions of like
- 27:11Speaker 1: how I admire myself for success, Like how do I
- 27:14Speaker 1: see my success in people's eyes? And like following business
- 27:17Speaker 1: owners for an example, I would love to own my
- 27:20Speaker 1: own business one day. And when I see these girls
- 27:23Speaker 1: thriving at their business and just being so successful at
- 27:26Speaker 1: their company, I'm like, this is what I want for myself.
- 27:28Speaker 1: So I love to consume that because it creates motivation
- 27:30Speaker 1: for myself to like want to succeed in that field
- 27:33Speaker 1: for myself. Well, and I also think it's important, like
- 27:35Speaker 1: you've just said, to change that perspective instead of being like,
- 27:40Speaker 1: oh my god, she has all this Like that's so unrelatable,
- 27:44Speaker 1: be inspired, Like I don't know for me personally, Like
- 27:48Speaker 1: I follow so many influencers that I cannot relate to.
- 27:54Speaker 1: But I like that, you know, I like that I
- 27:56Speaker 1: can't relate to them because it's something that I strive
- 28:00Speaker 1: to become, Like I see them as, like you said,
- 28:04Speaker 1: instead of seeing it as like jealousy, see it as
- 28:07Speaker 1: a motivation, see it as something that you want to
- 28:10Speaker 1: become or you want to strive towards. Like there's so
- 28:13Speaker 1: many influencers I follow, and the reason I follow them
- 28:15Speaker 1: is because I'm so inspired by them, and even if
- 28:18Speaker 1: it's in like completely different aspects. Like for example, an
- 28:22Speaker 1: influencer I love is Page Loree. Yes, that's just what
- 28:25Speaker 1: I love her. And let's talk about that for a second.
- 28:28Speaker 1: She is a tennis wife, so her fiance is a
- 28:32Speaker 1: professional tennis player. Yes, not right there, very unrelatable. He
- 28:35Speaker 1: owns a very successful business, again something that people really
- 28:39Speaker 1: strive for. But it's not easy to have a very
- 28:42Speaker 1: successful business that she has she owns a beautiful house.
- 28:45Speaker 1: She has I think two houses, to be honest, like
- 28:48Speaker 1: lives a very different life, and we both love to
- 28:53Speaker 1: follow her because they're so inspired by her. And I
- 28:56Speaker 1: was just about to say, it's not even about what
- 28:58Speaker 1: she specifically, because it's like, I mean not saying this
- 29:02Speaker 1: is something I would ever be passionate about, but I
- 29:04Speaker 1: wouldn't say right now, I'm passionate about starting a brand.
- 29:08Speaker 1: But what inspires me is her passion for her brand, Yes,
- 29:12Speaker 1: if that makes any sense, Like she has a passion
- 29:14Speaker 1: and that's what inspires me to find something. I just
- 29:18Speaker 1: watch her YouTube video this morning at her new flagship store,
- 29:22Speaker 1: and it just was inspiring me so much to find
- 29:28Speaker 1: a passion like she has. Yes, right, Like that's kind
- 29:32Speaker 1: of maybe the point that people are missing where it's like, oh,
- 29:35Speaker 1: she's so unrelatable, like I could never start my own
- 29:37Speaker 1: brand or whatever. But it's like that's not the point.
- 29:39Speaker 1: And what I love about her brand too is that
- 29:42Speaker 1: it's so her, Like she did such a great job
- 29:45Speaker 1: of like making a brand that really you can just
- 29:49Speaker 1: tell that it's like very much like things that she's
- 29:52Speaker 1: been so passionate about for so long, where I feel
- 29:54Speaker 1: like some people they start a business, but it's like, oh,
- 29:57Speaker 1: it just kind of was like a random business that
- 29:59Speaker 1: they started up that didn't really have any meaning to them.
- 30:02Speaker 1: So for me, I feel like I'm still trying to
- 30:04Speaker 1: discover that for myself of like what do I want
- 30:07Speaker 1: to start that I feel like identifies me as a person,
- 30:11Speaker 1: what my passions are, and what I truly love because
- 30:13Speaker 1: I think when you see someone again have so much
- 30:16Speaker 1: passion towards something, that's what becomes successful and that's what
- 30:20Speaker 1: like it's just I don't know and something that, like
- 30:23Speaker 1: you said, is so her like that's inspiring. Yes, I agree,
- 30:28Speaker 1: I agree, very very inspiring. Anyways, we're truly just inspired
- 30:31Speaker 1: by so many women that we follow on social media.
- 30:33Speaker 1: Another thing that I can think about in my environment
- 30:36Speaker 1: of someone that motivates me or inspires me is Dad.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Like I see Dad as a huge, you know, motivator
- 30:43Speaker 1: or someone that's just always been very successful and someone
- 30:46Speaker 1: that I've always admired at his hard work and like
- 30:49Speaker 1: him starting his company when he did, and like now
- 30:52Speaker 1: seeing his success with this new company that he's had,
- 30:55Speaker 1: I don't know, I find it very inspiring for him,
- 30:57Speaker 1: especially because like he's older and like he could to
- 31:00Speaker 1: my dad could literally retire, but he continues to work,
- 31:03Speaker 1: and like his drive and his determination again inspires me.
- 31:06Speaker 1: There's either people in your life or there's people that
- 31:08Speaker 1: you follow that are going to really impact your success
- 31:13Speaker 1: or drive or motivation. And like I feel like we
- 31:15Speaker 1: follow these people for a reason, Like I love to
- 31:18Speaker 1: follow people who inspire me, Like it's just it's something
- 31:22Speaker 1: that I really really do look up to, and I
- 31:24Speaker 1: feel like, again that's where it's creating the constant motivation
- 31:28Speaker 1: and that drive it you want for yourself, for your
- 31:30Speaker 1: future self and exactly, I think talking about this also
- 31:34Speaker 1: kind of talks about like where is the final destination at,
- 31:37Speaker 1: Like do you all of a sudden, like once you've
- 31:39Speaker 1: reached that success point in your life, it's like, oh
- 31:41Speaker 1: my god, this is it. I've reached a success Like
- 31:44Speaker 1: I don't think success ever has an ending point, Like
- 31:47Speaker 1: I think it doesn't every season in your life. I
- 31:50Speaker 1: think there's always going to be something else that you
- 31:52Speaker 1: want to succeed that in life, Like I know for
- 31:54Speaker 1: sure I want to be hopefully a successful mother one
- 31:57Speaker 1: day of just like being able to figure it out
- 32:00Speaker 1: and like also be able to like still have my
- 32:03Speaker 1: own life of like not just being a mom but
- 32:05Speaker 1: also being like a business owner a mom, Like I
- 32:07Speaker 1: want to be able to do like multiple things. And
- 32:09Speaker 1: I know that's going to be hard to figure out
- 32:10Speaker 1: and not something I'm going to get right off the bat.
- 32:12Speaker 1: I know that for a fact. But I know if
- 32:14Speaker 1: I work hard and continue to like feel determined of
- 32:17Speaker 1: wanting to be a mom and a business owner and
- 32:20Speaker 1: an influencer, I know it's possible. But I have to
- 32:22Speaker 1: have that drive in success. But I think it's good
- 32:26Speaker 1: to know that, like I'm not done, Like I know
- 32:29Speaker 1: I'm not done. I know I have more that I
- 32:31Speaker 1: want to accomplish in life and a lot more things
- 32:34Speaker 1: to be successful at. And I think that's what makes
- 32:37Speaker 1: life exciting is knowing that there's never keep going, there's
- 32:40Speaker 1: never a finish line. You can always find ways to
- 32:42Speaker 1: be successful, growing, evolving and adjusting. And I think it's
- 32:47Speaker 1: important to remind yourself of that, Like there shouldn't ever
- 32:51Speaker 1: be a point in your life where you're like, oh,
- 32:54Speaker 1: well I've achieved everything. Yeah, that's that that should never happen,
- 32:58Speaker 1: Like you're always gonna have or goals, and like I
- 33:01Speaker 1: feel like too, And I'm somebody who is victim of this.
- 33:06Speaker 1: I feel like I have so many goals and I'm
- 33:09Speaker 1: trying to accomplish them, whether it's all at once or
- 33:13Speaker 1: just I'm almost like I'm trying to reach that final destination.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a point in my life where
- 33:19Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, I've I've checked all the boxes, I'm satisfied,
- 33:23Speaker 1: but that's never gonna happen, no, right, So, and also too,
- 33:27Speaker 1: I think it's important to stop trying to just chase
- 33:32Speaker 1: for that big one goal and start by, you know,
- 33:36Speaker 1: doing little goals right and to that point. And like
- 33:40Speaker 1: exactly for you right now, like when you were talking
- 33:41Speaker 1: about like your dating life and like your career, it's like, yeah,
- 33:44Speaker 1: maybe you're not at that success point you want right
- 33:47Speaker 1: now for yourself, but it's like you're in this stage
- 33:49Speaker 1: of like you're figuring it out right, exactly figuring out
- 33:52Speaker 1: I feel like you've already started to make a list
- 33:54Speaker 1: of like what you see in your ideal man, right Yeah,
- 33:57Speaker 1: like you're taking the time of like enjoying your independence,
- 34:00Speaker 1: but also exactly a plan of how you're going to
- 34:03Speaker 1: get that successful man that you want for yourself. Well,
- 34:06Speaker 1: and that's a perfect example. Like I feel like, for me,
- 34:09Speaker 1: let's say the final destination is finding a husband, Well,
- 34:13Speaker 1: the small goals I'm doing before that, and one thing
- 34:16Speaker 1: I'm really working on right now is becoming the best
- 34:20Speaker 1: version of myself so that whenever I do find my husband,
- 34:24Speaker 1: I am giving him that best version of me. So
- 34:27Speaker 1: I'm doing little things in my life right now to
- 34:29Speaker 1: become the best version of myself. And so that's just
- 34:32Speaker 1: kind of like an example. Yeah, I just wanted to
- 34:34Speaker 1: create like different examples of dating, life, career, mother side, whatever.
- 34:39Speaker 1: It is. Like, there's so many things that you can
- 34:42Speaker 1: be successful at and it doesn't just have to be
- 34:44Speaker 1: like about money or about like tangible things. It could
- 34:48Speaker 1: be just about things that you want for yourself. I
- 34:50Speaker 1: think it's important that instead of because there is not
- 34:55Speaker 1: necessarily a finish line. And I've seen this quote and
- 34:58Speaker 1: I can't remember the exact quote, but it's something along
- 35:01Speaker 1: the lines of focusing on the journey, not the final destination.
- 35:05Speaker 1: I love it right because there is no final destination,
- 35:08Speaker 1: and I think we lose that aspect of being present
- 35:14Speaker 1: and just enjoying the now because we're so worried about
- 35:18Speaker 1: what's the final destination, whether it's you know, finding a
- 35:21Speaker 1: man or figuring out your job. Like you're so focused
- 35:25Speaker 1: on that you're not being present in what you have now.
- 35:29Speaker 1: And that's why I think creating, like I said, the
- 35:31Speaker 1: little goals, like I feel like it helps you be
- 35:33Speaker 1: more present because you're just you're focusing on the journey.
- 35:36Speaker 1: And this is why we always talk about like doing
- 35:38Speaker 1: monthly goals or we have goals for yourself because these
- 35:41Speaker 1: little goals like might it makes a big difference. They
- 35:43Speaker 1: might seem like, oh, this is just a joke, like
- 35:45Speaker 1: why are we getting these little goals, But it's like, well, no,
- 35:47Speaker 1: these little goals actually will add up to get you
- 35:50Speaker 1: to that big goal that you go up for yourself.
- 35:52Speaker 1: And I think that's why it's so important to always
- 35:54Speaker 1: set goals for yourself because it motivates yourself. It creates
- 35:58Speaker 1: just inspiration for yourself to become successful at these things
- 36:01Speaker 1: and get to that big point. Think of it this way.
- 36:03Speaker 1: The smallest goal of for example, waking up early in
- 36:08Speaker 1: the morning instead of waking up at like six am
- 36:11Speaker 1: instead of eight am, can make the biggest difference one
- 36:14Speaker 1: hundred percent. It's the little things that make a huge impact. Well,
- 36:17Speaker 1: that is today's episode. I feel like we kind of
- 36:20Speaker 1: hit a lot of different points about success and how
- 36:23Speaker 1: it's okay to start off with being embarrassed or awkward
- 36:26Speaker 1: or cringe and realize that you get to that point
- 36:28Speaker 1: in your life that you really wanted for yourself. But
