  As we get ready to finish the week, I want to take a moment to talk about gratitude.

  Sometimes life moves so fast that we forget to pause and look back at the blessings

  that were right in front of us.

  Maybe this week had challenges, maybe had moments of stress.

  But if we slow down for just a moment, we might also notice something else.

  Moments where God showed up. Maybe it was a conversation that lifted your spirit.

  Maybe it was a simple victory of work.

  Maybe it was simple or simply having the strength to get through a difficult day or a week.

  I read a Bible verse from Psalms 118 verse 24, and it reminds us,

  this is the day that the Lord has made.

  Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

  Gratitude. Gratitude changes how we see our lives.

  Instead of focusing on what went wrong, we begin to notice what went right.

  Instead of focusing on what we lack, we begin to see what we've been given.

  So before this week officially ends, take a moment, say a prayer of thanks.

  Thank God for the blessings you noticed and even the ones you didn't.

  Because when we live with gratitude, we begin to see just how much God is doing in our lives.

  And that's something worth thinking about today. Have a great weekend.
