- 0:37All right, welcome. Thank you for those that have
- 0:39been listening. Welcome back.
- 0:41And those are the new. Welcome back again, Diego.
- 0:43Oh yes, thank you for having. Me again.
- 0:45Once again. Yeah, brother.
- 0:46How you been? I've been doing just fine.
- 0:49I'll be you guys, yeah. You've been good man.
- 0:50Just working. It's pretty much it.
- 0:53We're all on the grind here, yeah?
- 0:55They're much, yeah, yeah. Everybody right, right, right.
- 1:00Dude anything, anything new has has happened lately or no?
- 1:04Like with it's life in general, news, anything.
- 1:08I wouldn't say anything like new new has been happening in my
- 1:12life, but I don't know, I feel like when it comes to something
- 1:17to talk about, I feel like it's the kind of something we we
- 1:21touched base on yesterday for a little.
- 1:23We didn't talk about it a whole lot yesterday, but it was about,
- 1:28I don't know if you guys have talked about like marriage on
- 1:30this. Marriage.
- 1:32On this part On this on this part.
- 1:34I know we we haven't. I haven't touched marriage.
- 1:37Like what about marriage like? Matrimonial like.
- 1:40Like for instance like. Marriage in a sense like.
- 1:43Like we know like pre marriage and then marriage itself.
- 1:46Like, you know, especially when it comes to like finding.
- 1:49I wouldn't say finding, but like finding the one.
- 1:53Exactly. Finding the one.
- 1:56Yeah, well, you're not the one asking the question.
- 1:58OK, OK. No.
- 1:59No, no, no. Then this this topic is from God
- 2:01then because we. Talked.
- 2:03About it yesterday for a little bit all.
- 2:04Right. So look, look, you know, we did,
- 2:06we did, we did. But look, before I I got here, I
- 2:09was eating. And then in my mind a question
- 2:13came up. Could I think?
- 2:15I'm confident it was God, what are you looking for in a woman?
- 2:19Right. Like, like basically like today.
- 2:21What are you? Yeah, today before I got here.
- 2:23I'm not even joking. Wow.
- 2:25What are you looking for in a woman?
- 2:27And I said, well, God, whatever you bring.
- 2:31And then I was like, you know what, I'm going to call Oscar?
- 2:33I'm going to challenge him. So, so, so I thought I was going
- 2:37to challenge him and then I call him like, you know, with my
- 2:42chest pop popped out and I was like, yo, so.
- 2:45I could. I could even like see your chest
- 2:47come out of the phone. I was like but I see those.
- 2:53Yeah, so I was like, I was like, all right, well, I have a
- 2:56question for you, bro. He's like, oh gosh, what
- 2:58happened? I'm like, what are you looking
- 3:01for in a woman? You know, that was going to
- 3:04challenge him with that question.
- 3:05But if anything, what I got out of that whole conversation was
- 3:09like a backfire towards me, basically like God saying, So
- 3:12what are you looking for in a woman?
- 3:15And when I got out of that whole conversation was you can't just
- 3:20aim aimlessly. Now as we're followers of
- 3:23Christ, we know one thing, right?
- 3:26We we want a woman that loves God.
- 3:29Yeah, and this and this conversation is probably
- 3:31comfortable, uncomfortable, Yeah, for a lot of guys, 'cause,
- 3:35you know, a lot of guys puff their chest like, Nah, I'm good.
- 3:38Or or you can be from the other spectrum, like you're just.
- 3:44I guess you can say that what we call it today, simping or
- 3:47simping like a little dog with your tongue out.
- 3:49Right. Looking for like a girl, Right.
- 3:51Yeah. From either 1 spectrum, old to
- 3:53the other end. Oh, I don't need that.
- 3:55Yeah. So you're saying, yeah, yeah.
- 3:57Like there's those that are prideful and like I don't need a
- 3:59woman. And well, yeah, 'cause the
- 4:00conversation is uncomfortable. Right, right, right.
- 4:03So. But what in regards to to
- 4:06marriage, Diego? What in regard, let's say?
- 4:12Is there like a desperation? No, not a desperation, but at
- 4:16times I'm thinking, man, like, you know, one, I wonder when my
- 4:20time will be like, you know, to actually meet this person, then,
- 4:25you know, get to know them and then, you know, you get into the
- 4:28relationship phase and of course you're getting to know them as
- 4:33a, you know, as a like in my case, yeah, beginning to learn
- 4:38to know them as the girlfriend that could be a potential
- 4:42partner. I only say potential because
- 4:44anything's possible. It could.
- 4:45Things could end or or things could lead to marriage, but it
- 4:51all depends. Yeah, interestingly enough, I
- 4:53had a conversation with my friend Mike.
- 4:55I told you, right? We were catching up, how's he's
- 4:57doing and stuff like that. And we touched a little bit
- 5:00about that because, you know, I was asking how's everything and
- 5:03all that. And he's single, obviously.
- 5:08And he said something very, actually, very well said.
- 5:13And he's like, if I'm single right now, I might as well make
- 5:16it worth it, right? So when my future wife comes, I
- 5:24did not waste my time in my singleness, right?
- 5:27Yeah. So I like how he said that.
- 5:30I like how he said that because if, I mean, if you're going to
- 5:32be single, make it worth it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 5:34Right. Do something, work on something
- 5:36that's true, make it worth it. So when when she comes, you know
- 5:39you did not waste your time. Yeah, that is very.
- 5:41True, yeah. And so a lot, a lot of dudes,
- 5:44guys want to, they want that wife and they're not taking
- 5:49advantage of now. That there's, yeah, absolutely.
- 5:52You know, doesn't mean you have to go conquer the world to have
- 5:55a huge enterprise, but the things that you have to do as a
- 5:57man and take get that taken care of, right?
- 6:00Right, right. They don't.
- 6:01They're not focusing that. They're focused on like, well,
- 6:03you know, I'm not pointing at you do, but I'm just saying like
- 6:05a lot of guys are thinking like that.
- 6:06Yeah, yeah, yeah. When you asked me the question,
- 6:10I was like, oh, interesting. The first thing I thought, and
- 6:12this is not to throw you under the.
- 6:13Bus No, no, go for it. Go for it.
- 6:15I was like, damn, he's desperate you.
- 6:18Know you know, you know, I, I understand why you thought that.
- 6:21I totally understand. But I, I, I promise.
- 6:24I promise. But but.
- 6:27But wait, I I promise I was not thinking about a wife at all.
- 6:29I was just eating. Yeah, but yeah, the Spirit knows
- 6:33the heart. It does know the heart.
- 6:35OK. You cannot yearn for a wife if
- 6:39you don't even know what you're looking.
- 6:40For right, right, right. That's what he says.
- 6:42You can't aimlessly. Exactly.
- 6:44You can't yearn aimlessly. Aimlessly, yeah.
- 6:47And now what I mean by that is like, OK, so you're following
- 6:50God, your heart is aligned with God.
- 6:53Obviously those these common sense answers like a woman that
- 6:57loves God. Yeah, that's just.
- 7:00Goes to church common sense stuff yeah, it's just common
- 7:02sense. Obviously I wouldn't.
- 7:05I honestly, I'll be honest. I, I know you're going to say
- 7:07you don't know what you're saying, but like, like if I had
- 7:09a girl that, you know, respected what I was doing and God pointed
- 7:14me towards her. I, I know, I know, hold on.
- 7:17And God wants me to disciple her.
- 7:19Well, I'm I'll take, I'll take You don't know.
- 7:21You don't know you. Don't know, I'll take, I'll take
- 7:26the challenge. Not that I'm asking for it, but
- 7:29I'll take up the challenge. It's I know it's going to be
- 7:32hard. I know, I know, but for me I'd
- 7:36rather prefer a girl that already loves God with all her.
- 7:38Heart, Yeah, because how are you going to?
- 7:39I mean, I'm not saying never say never, but how is God going to
- 7:44present that? Then you still are in your
- 7:47growing stages, right? No, no, I know.
- 7:49I know. That's what I'm saying.
- 7:50Like. I'm not saying that there's a
- 7:52I'm not saying there's like a, a stage where like, all right, you
- 7:56figured it out as a believer. No, Yeah, you still keep.
- 7:58Growing, no, of course, of course.
- 8:00But there's a level of maturity. I, I get it.
- 8:03But going back to the thing, like I, I, there's just, those
- 8:07are common sense things that every Christian man wants,
- 8:09right? But then there are those
- 8:11attributes in which where God has you at that moment right now
- 8:15in life, like whatever God has placed into your hands.
- 8:19Those things. I've realized I'm like, wait a
- 8:21second, 'cause when I, when that question popped in my mind, I, I
- 8:25would, couldn't think of anything except basic questions.
- 8:27I mean basic answers like a woman that loves God, fears God,
- 8:32all this. But The thing is, you, you said
- 8:35this to me before. Do you?
- 8:36Oh, I just want a woman that loves God.
- 8:38But you don't even know what you're saying.
- 8:39Like you when you say that, Brian, or you, you don't even
- 8:42know what you're saying by that. Because what if, what if you do
- 8:46find that woman that loves God and fears God?
- 8:50Do you understand the relentlessness she's going to
- 8:52have in her search with God? She's going to put that upon you
- 8:56as. Well, and if.
- 8:58You were not conditioned to have the flesh disciplined and have
- 9:02learned to be in different situations like while Paul says
- 9:07through Christ I can do everything who strengthens me
- 9:10right. He's not saying that because
- 9:12your hopes and dreams saying that in any situation you find
- 9:16yourself. You learn how to be content as a
- 9:18believer. So when you ask for a wife like
- 9:21this, she comes and pushes you. Mm.
- 9:24Hmm. Can you handle that?
- 9:26Because what if she does? I mean, she will love God, she
- 9:29will fear God, right? But everybody can fear and love
- 9:32God, right? Yeah.
- 9:33But it's different when a woman comes with that relentlessness.
- 9:36I totally agree. Yeah, all in for God like.
- 9:39And then she challenges you and then you feel uncomfortable.
- 9:41And then now you don't even know what you were asking.
- 9:43For yes, I agree. No, exactly.
- 9:46So it's very simple to say a girl that loves God, right?
- 9:49But then when the attributes come, what is it that this woman
- 9:52like? What have you seen this woman?
- 9:54I guess in other words, be careful what you ask for.
- 9:57Well, yeah, because you're saying like.
- 9:59I'm sorry, but that's so funny you said that.
- 10:01What? Before I turned off my phone,
- 10:03That's the last thing I saw on my phone that our sister Linda
- 10:06shared with me. Oh really?
- 10:08Be careful what you asked. For oh, because you were texting
- 10:10her. Yeah, no, because I sent her.
- 10:11Oh, OK, right. About a buffet.
- 10:13Oh, OK, but yeah, but it's true. Like you, you, unless, you know,
- 10:20if you want a woman that loves God and really expect
- 10:24relentlessness, right, right, right.
- 10:26But I mean relentlessness. Meaning like she's also gonna
- 10:29push. You.
- 10:30Yes. Yeah, she should.
- 10:31Yeah, she should. Yeah.
- 10:32But, you know, yeah. But yeah, you're right.
- 10:34The thing is that, Are you sure? Can you?
- 10:36Or she could be asking, I want a man of God.
- 10:38I want a man who fears God. Whoa.
- 10:40She should know that if she finds herself with a man of God.
- 10:43Man of God, yeah. It's it's not gonna be like
- 10:46rainbows and sunshine. It's gonna be he's gonna go,
- 10:49yeah, he's gonna push her. He's gonna do all these things.
- 10:52Yeah, yeah. In a good way.
- 10:53Yes, it goes. It goes both.
- 10:55Ways, yeah. So it's both ways.
- 10:56Yeah. So as a believer, if you think
- 10:58about marriage, you also have to think about what are you really
- 11:00asking for. Yeah, exactly.
- 11:01You can just shoot aimlessly. Yeah.
- 11:04Like for example, when you're going to shoot a bow and arrow,
- 11:07you know that this is a bow, this is an arrow, and that is a
- 11:10target. You know that common sense.
- 11:12It's like you say I want a woman that goes to church, I want a
- 11:15woman that loves God. It's common sense.
- 11:17But can you aim with aim or you're going to aim aimlessly?
- 11:20Yeah. Yeah, You know what I mean?
- 11:21So like, like I, what was I gonna say?
- 11:25Oh, yeah. So you know, you know that verse
- 11:27that everybody uses equally yoked.
- 11:31You know, a lot of Christians take that like, oh, you know,
- 11:33she's not a believer. It's, it's unequally yoked.
- 11:35OK, all right, whatever. But what about like, let's just
- 11:39say there's a woman in there that loves God too, but God has
- 11:42you on a different mission. But that woman does love God.
- 11:45Now her mission might be different from yours.
- 11:49Why don't you consider that unequal yoke?
- 11:51Well, yeah, too, because you can love God.
- 11:52She loves God that you guys, you know, check all the boxes.
- 11:55Yeah, but in regards to mission, that there may be in that aspect
- 12:01of an unequal yoke, right? Yes.
- 12:04Unequal yoke just means this, that when the two beast had the
- 12:09yoke on, they had to be exactly the same.
- 12:11Right, right, right. Yeah.
- 12:13So that they can both the yoke can have a function yeah or
- 12:17otherwise the other and the other beast is putting all the
- 12:20work and the other one is. Not right So.
- 12:22In that they, they, you know, they added to that by saying,
- 12:29well, it's if you don't find a believer, right?
- 12:32You're unequally yoked in that sense, yeah.
- 12:34Yeah, sure. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:37Yeah, that's the understanding. Because like, you're you, your
- 12:40your faith isn't God, right? And perhaps she or vice versa,
- 12:44her faith isn't God and his faith is not.
- 12:46There's going to be a sense of struggle.
- 12:48Yeah. There's going to be a sense of
- 12:49arguments. There's going to be friction,
- 12:52resistance, tension. They love each other.
- 12:55But when it comes to the faith and believe, there's all that.
- 12:58So do you want to be going through thorns and thistles?
- 13:01Yeah. Yeah.
- 13:02Do you know what I mean? Right, right.
- 13:03Right. No.
- 13:04Absolutely. Exactly.
- 13:06But but I know where you're coming from.
- 13:07Yeah, I think it's. Like that equally.
- 13:11It's I get it. Yeah, like that.
- 13:13Unequally yoked could also mean like someone in the faith too.
- 13:16I meet someone. Let's say I meet someone who
- 13:18just came into the faith a year, two years ago.
- 13:21So technically, in retrospect, in comparison to me, I've been
- 13:25in it for a long time. Yeah, but what if she meets my
- 13:30same yoke by the passion that she then has for the stuff that
- 13:34I'm doing? Right, right.
- 13:35Versus someone who's been in it, but she just doesn't see what
- 13:39I'm doing. Exactly.
- 13:40Exactly. Exactly.
- 13:41I totally get what you're saying.
- 13:42Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to say, yeah.
- 13:44So could you ever see yourself, Diego, I mean, ending up with
- 13:49someone who's not a believer? But stuff I mean, like, but then
- 13:57this kind of leads me to asking a question.
- 14:00So since you since you brought up that question, so is it
- 14:05possible that God could pair you up with an unbeliever?
- 14:10Like he can destine you to marry an unbeliever or, or I don't
- 14:15know. It's just a general general
- 14:17question. All right, so then ask her.
- 14:20Ask her. Of course, of course.
- 14:22So going going back to the thing where I was talking about, where
- 14:26you're like, you don't know what you're saying, which is true.
- 14:27I don't know what I'm saying, but you'll remember that story
- 14:30about that prophet. Hosea, I knew you were.
- 14:33I yeah, you know, I was going to bring it up.
- 14:35But see, you can't. You can't apply that pattern
- 14:38into your life. I know, I know.
- 14:40Because God was trying to teach also the prophet Hosea while
- 14:44teach the nation right. Right, right.
- 14:47Although he did love her. Right.
- 14:51But every time she would escape and leave, God would talk going.
- 14:53Go after, yeah. Go after her, yeah.
- 14:55But you see the struggle, you see that.
- 14:57Ohh no, no, absolutely. You see, you see, you see what
- 14:59the prophet like married a prostitute, God told her.
- 15:01Marry a prostitute. Yeah.
- 15:04You know that story, right? Had I think they have they have
- 15:06kids and everything and she would leave, go after her right,
- 15:10You're going to go through that. That is true.
- 15:14You're going to go through all that, what God was trying to
- 15:16describe to Isaiah, what Israel is to me.
- 15:18They leave. They come back to me.
- 15:19They leave. Right, Right.
- 15:20And I come for them. Yeah.
- 15:22When they leave me, I come. Right, right.
- 15:24So if you're willing to go through that, by all means your
- 15:29your mission in life will be that.
- 15:31Yeah. No, that is a.
- 15:33That is a a burden. Yeah, right.
- 15:35Now imagine having that burden and working on the things God
- 15:38has placed in the table for you. Oh yeah, yeah, you're going to
- 15:41have to be hauling a lot, you know what I mean?
- 15:43No, I agree. I agree.
- 15:44No, there are cases that it happens and the believer ends up
- 15:48becoming a, The non believer becomes a believer, right,
- 15:52Because they see their partners faithfulness and fruits.
- 15:56Yeah, yeah, that can be a thing that I'm not saying that we're
- 15:59ruling it out. No, no, no, of course not.
- 16:01But there is cases when both couples who are both non, like
- 16:04the couple who are both non believer become one becomes a
- 16:08believer and then later on she can or vice versa.
- 16:11He can, right? And they don't let go of each
- 16:15other because you never know one day that partner can become a
- 16:18believer, right? Right.
- 16:19Paul does describe this in the First Corinthians.
- 16:21Yeah. So the thing about marriage that
- 16:24what you're saying is like, well, you want marriage, but do
- 16:28you know why you want marriage? That is true.
- 16:32Do you want it for like, like you're saying like, do you want
- 16:34it for like your own luxury, for your own vanity, for your own
- 16:37looks? Or do you want it like, because
- 16:39like it's going to honor God and you can honor God with that
- 16:42marriage? And I never really thought of it
- 16:46that way, 100%. Well, yeah.
- 16:49Because I mean. No, because, because look, we
- 16:52have social media and and they promote marriage a lot.
- 16:56Like especially in the Christian algorithm, I guess.
- 16:59I don't know, that sounds weird to say, but yeah.
- 17:01And the algorithm where it pushes like, you know, all that
- 17:03Christianity stuff, like, you see, you see like a lot of
- 17:07marriage stuff and the, you know, so beautiful, so, so this
- 17:11and that. But there are couples out there.
- 17:14I remember actually when I first went to church, when I was, when
- 17:19I, when that time period remember when I texted you and,
- 17:23and that you brought me to that church where I got baptized.
- 17:26I remember the first service that I that I, that I was, I was
- 17:29there the very first service. It was a couple.
- 17:33It was a married couple that they they, I forgot.
- 17:37Was it my wall? Yeah, my wall.
- 17:39Yeah. And it was, it was that married
- 17:42couple that they were on God's, they were doing God's mission.
- 17:46And what? What country do you remember?
- 17:48What country it was? I think if I'm going to say
- 17:49it's, it's Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan.
- 17:51Yeah, it was. Yeah, yeah.
- 17:53And I remember. That or some weird name
- 17:55somewhere around there. Yeah, some like place I have not
- 17:59many people talk about is Middle East.
- 18:01Right. Yeah, it's it's Asia.
- 18:03Asia, Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so there, you know, she was
- 18:06like, Oh yeah, You know, God called us there.
- 18:08And she's like, yes, you know, I have a family.
- 18:11I remember the wife talking, yes, I have a family.
- 18:13And it's very uncomfortable. Sometimes you don't really have
- 18:15that much running water. You know, sometimes we have a
- 18:17little food, this and that. And she's like, but if this is
- 18:20where God calls me, then I don't care.
- 18:22He's like, I'm willing to. I don't care what it takes on.
- 18:24And what'd you got out of that? When I got out of that, I was
- 18:27like, wow, this couple right here.
- 18:31I'm not even. I was like the the that was like
- 18:33when I was coming back to God, bro.
- 18:35That was like the first, the first day I went to church, it
- 18:37was that and the couple was like the, the, the wife was like, I
- 18:42don't care where God takes me. If God is there, then it's OK.
- 18:45So and she was, she was telling stories about like, you know,
- 18:49like how they didn't sometimes they would struggle this and
- 18:51that. It was, it's hard.
- 18:52It's cold up there, this and that.
- 18:54It's like, but if God, that's where God calls us, then that's
- 18:56where we're going to be at. And when I got out of it, I was
- 18:59like, wow, now that I'm more mature and I can see things a
- 19:02little more now I understand those, that couple is not
- 19:05married for a vanity and looks. They're they're married because
- 19:09they're, they're all in, in God's mission.
- 19:12And they're gonna, they're willing to go all out to the
- 19:14point where even like they're setting the example to their
- 19:18kids being like, Hey, this is our marriage.
- 19:21They're setting that example to them.
- 19:22So when they get older and then their kids find somebody,
- 19:26they're gonna have that same mentality.
- 19:27Like we're gonna go all out on God, whoever God calls us.
- 19:30That was very inspiring. Now that I'm much, you know,
- 19:33more mature the faith, now I see how valuable and how beautiful
- 19:38that is compared to what social media actually like promotes.
- 19:42Portrays. Yeah, portrays where it's like
- 19:43all you see is like a beautiful girl in a farm, you know, with
- 19:47that with head covering, which is obviously that's beautiful.
- 19:50I, I love when women had wear head covering.
- 19:52But what I'm trying to say is that like those are things like
- 19:55cuz 'cause I was on social media and I was seeing a lot of the
- 19:59stuff, a lot of that stuff on there and I'm like, God, you
- 20:02know, that's so beautiful. But I can be ignorant to the
- 20:05fact that that's also vanity of life too.
- 20:08We keep thinking that Christians keep thinking that vanity of
- 20:11life is like in the city partying.
- 20:13No, it can also be in the farm. It can also be in a different
- 20:16world. It can be in a different country
- 20:17where like you're living luxurious with the with, with
- 20:21organic things, you know, all these things.
- 20:23What I'm trying to say is basically like like.
- 20:28When marriage now I understand marriage so much more now that
- 20:33it's not for vanity, it's not for looks.
- 20:35No, it's not like to be like use the ring you see.
- 20:38You're. Committing.
- 20:39You're becoming one, Diego? Yes.
- 20:41You know, becoming one. It's tough.
- 20:44You're becoming one with your partner.
- 20:46Yeah, you're giving up, half of you.
- 20:48Yes. To take half of hers, right?
- 20:50The half you gave up, she's taking right?
- 20:52Becoming one, Yeah. It goes both ways.
- 20:54Yeah, 100%. Yeah, man, and your marriage is
- 20:56not going to look like social media, like how it promotes it.
- 20:58Yeah, it's good. Who knows where God is going to
- 21:00send you I. I I know social media kind of
- 21:02distorts everything, yeah, of reality and there's really no
- 21:09real way or a manual, but for sure, for sure, for sure, asked
- 21:16the Lord. Yes, Abraham asked his servant.
- 21:19His servant asked the Lord because he didn't want to fail
- 21:22his master in bringing him the wife of his son.
- 21:26You see, that's a perfect example of not aiming aimlessly.
- 21:30Yeah, he was after a mission. Abraham told him.
- 21:33I want to go to this nation in this region specifically that's
- 21:37aiming yes, his servant goes to that area to that nation in in
- 21:41region and then he then specifically as the Lord for
- 21:45certain things he's aiming. Yes.
- 21:48Right. And then he came back with the
- 21:51with the wife's master's son's. Wife.
- 21:53Wife So when you are yearning for a marriage, what do you you
- 21:59have to ask yourself for what? For what do you want it for?
- 22:02For what? What like you obviously you're a
- 22:04man. One day you're you're going to
- 22:05have a girl girlfriend and marry them.
- 22:09Do you know what you need it for?
- 22:10Do you know what responsibly that comes with?
- 22:13Yes, the responsibility. You know, that undertakes a
- 22:19sense of being uncomfortable. You're giving up your single
- 22:21life. You're tending to this other
- 22:25person, their needs, their emotions.
- 22:29You know what I mean? Vice versa.
- 22:31And remember, you're like, I mean us as men, like that's
- 22:34God's daughter. Yeah.
- 22:36Or do we yearn for marriage because we feel alone?
- 22:40Because you can't handle that part of our nature as a man.
- 22:45Oh, yeah, so much that like this, this.
- 22:47I can't deal with this anymore. Yeah, I need to get married.
- 22:49Yeah. You know what I mean?
- 22:51That's also extremely wrong, too, for a lot of Christians.
- 22:53Yeah, Yeah. And to get married like that,
- 22:56that's why, yo, I mean, I know I've said this before, but yo,
- 22:59it really does blow my mind when I hear, like, pastors.
- 23:02I'm like, oh, yeah, I got married and I was still addicted
- 23:04to porn. I'm like, what?
- 23:06Yo, if I was addiculous, if I was addicted to porn, yo, I
- 23:10would not even think about getting.
- 23:12Married. I wouldn't say all the churches
- 23:16but like the pushing them to get married because they're in
- 23:19flaming passion I think is a huge mistake.
- 23:23Yes, and they take it out of context.
- 23:24Too, because Paul's talking two couple 2 couples that are
- 23:27already. Together.
- 23:29Yes, they just get married. So you have to be playing with
- 23:32that fight, right? He's not talking about a guy.
- 23:34No, no, no. If God has.
- 23:36A guy finds him. A guy generally 24/7 finds
- 23:39himself in front of the fire. Like what do you?
- 23:41Yeah, every morning, all the time, yeah.
- 23:43Bro, so like, control yourself, seek for the Lord, tell the Lord
- 23:49to help you, Yeah, to intercede for you, right, right.
- 23:52To give you the spirit of self-control, right.
- 23:55So that you can discern properly.
- 23:57Yeah, what you want when you say I want to get married.
- 24:00And and if you're yearning for that, you should know what you
- 24:04are looking. You should know what you're.
- 24:05Looking for yes yes. Yes, so that when you ask the
- 24:07Lord, things work the way they should.
- 24:10Work no absolutely man, absolutely what I mean no trust
- 24:12me man this podcast I'm I'm learning in real time and before
- 24:16I came here I I learned something new I'm still learning
- 24:19because. I wasn't trying to put you down,
- 24:22but. No, no, you did.
- 24:23No, I was kidding. I was kidding.
- 24:25I was kidding, bro. No, no, no.
- 24:28I because this is all I've said to God.
- 24:30This is the deepest I've gone to praying to God about my wife.
- 24:33I said God give me the perfect portion of a woman.
- 24:37Yeah, there's something wrong, right about it.
- 24:40Right to to be asking God. Yeah, yeah.
- 24:42Like me personally, it's like I have all the tools basically to
- 24:47ask. Yeah, I am.
- 24:48But I haven't gotten to it. I don't know, maybe I should
- 24:53already. I should stop with this
- 24:54nonsense, right? But yeah, yeah, like I said,
- 24:57it's I like, I like what my friend Mike said like.
- 24:59Oh dude, what your friend Mike said is key.
- 25:01He's like, if you're going to be single during that time, take
- 25:03advantage. Yes, Yeah.
- 25:05Of that moment of singleness. Prepare yourself.
- 25:07Do what you got to do. Make it worth it.
- 25:09Yes. Make the single life worth it so
- 25:10that when she comes things work out.
- 25:12Yeah. No, don't waste your time and
- 25:14then still yearn for your life and you're not really not even
- 25:18prepared or you have to like conquer an enterprise.
- 25:21You know what? I mean, like, no, I totally know
- 25:22what you mean, yeah. As a man.
- 25:23Yeah, and, and you know what? Your friend, he speaks for
- 25:27himself because he has his own painting company and it's going
- 25:31really well for him. Yeah.
- 25:32He's killing it. He's killing it.
- 25:34So he's taking advantage of his single life right now.
- 25:37It's awesome. Yeah.
- 25:38Yeah. No, Yeah, yeah.
- 25:39So for all those women or men you know, if you're yearning for
- 25:43a husband or wife, you should know what you're what you should
- 25:46be looking for, yes. Otherwise you're yearning
- 25:48aimlessly. Exactly.
- 25:50Exactly. Exactly.
- 25:51So good, good topic, Diego, good one.
- 25:54Good. Yeah, it was a good one, man.
- 25:55Good one. Yeah, it's a very good topic.
- 25:57I hope everybody here learn and there's so much more to talk
- 25:59about marriage, but that's really in a nutshell.
- 26:02Yeah. It's not rocket science.
- 26:04It's really not. You know.
- 26:06This is for, you know, those that are not married or going to
- 26:09get married or I even saved those that are in marriage
- 26:11already. Yeah.
- 26:12I would say this could help someone who's in a couple, who's
- 26:14in marriage as well, yeah. Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
- 26:18All right, So thank you guys for listening.
- 26:21This was a good one. This is a good this is a great
- 26:24one and it's. Very good, very good.
- 26:26Yeah, I just realized something. Yeah, well, you.
- 26:28Pray in the beginning. I don't know, but because we did
- 26:33not pray, you are going to close it because you're the one who
- 26:36started. Yo, yeah, man, I'm sorry.
- 26:39God, It's OK. But you know what I know?
- 26:41God. This is from God.
- 26:43Of course I learned something new.
- 26:45I'm pretty sure Diego learned something new, I think.
- 26:47We all did. Yeah, and.
- 26:49For me it's just a refresher and a warning.
- 26:57Yeah, yeah, man. Awesome, awesome.
- 26:59I'm glad you got warned. It's better than.
- 27:01I got warned yo. Yeah bro, so all.
- 27:06Right, let's close it. Let's close with the prayer.
- 27:08Lord, thank you so much for just allowing us just to be here,
- 27:13guide us and lead us always into the absolute truth.
- 27:17Your wisdom is great. Your wisdom is perfect.
- 27:20It refines us in so many ways, challenges us, but you are the
- 27:25one true, living God. You are not a God of confusion,
- 27:29but rather you are the absolute truth.
- 27:31Praise your holy name, for You are greater than all things
- 27:34holy. You are in every way.
- 27:36All glory goes to you, Lord, and thank you for today.
- 27:39Amen. Amen.
- 27:41All right, until the next time, guys.
