  Speaker 2: teachings to help us. This is what you find in

  Speaker 2: the house of God, giving you illumination and perspective, helping
• 6:16
  Speaker 2: you to maneuver things. Through the prophetic seasons that are
• 6:20
  Speaker 2: now upon us. Part one, we are looking at behold,
• 6:24
  Speaker 2: I do a new thing.

  Speaker 2: Genesis 1 and verse 14. Let's get to the business

  Speaker 2: of tonight. There's a lot to do. Genesis 1 and 14.

  Speaker 2: of the heaven to divide the day from the night.

  Speaker 2: And let them be for signs. Let them be for seasons.

  Speaker 2: So there are lights that signify seasons. There are lights

  Speaker 2: that signify years. There is a body of revelation that

  Speaker 2: the believer can access and interpret seasons with. The Bible says,

  Speaker 2: he said, these lights are not just for illumination. The

  Speaker 2: lights are signposts to help you navigate seasons. Hallelujah. So

  Speaker 2: when the Magi saw a kind of light, they knew
• 7:19
  Speaker 2: that it was not just the earth, that the earth
• 7:22
  Speaker 2: was brighter than normal, but that signified the arrival of
• 7:26
  Speaker 2: a king. And they got to walk immediately, tracing that

  Speaker 2: light until it brought them where baby Jesus was. So

  Speaker 2: there are lights. that are allocated for seasons. Hallelujah. And

  Speaker 2: if your eyes are not trained and your understanding is

  Speaker 2: not equipped, prophetic seasons can come and pass you. Are

  Speaker 2: we together now? And you do not know how to
• 7:48
  Speaker 2: partner with prophecy. And you find out that you abhor many,

  Speaker 2: many dimensions of your destiny because of lack of discernment.

  Speaker 2: So I'll be teaching you through this series today how

  Speaker 2: to interpret the prophetic season that is now upon us

  Speaker 2: as individuals, as the body of Christ, as a nation,

  Speaker 2: and then how to partner with God even in this season.

  Speaker 2: Amos chapter 3 and verse 7. The Bible says, 3, 7, Amos.

  Speaker 2: Surely the Lord will do nothing. but he revealed his

  Speaker 2: secrets to his servants, the prophet. That means in God's economy,

  Speaker 2: nothing happens in the earth that should take all men
• 8:33
  Speaker 2: by surprise. It has never happened. There will always be
• 8:37
  Speaker 2: a witness. When he was about to cause the flood
• 8:40
  Speaker 2: to destroy the earth, it looked like a strange occurrence
• 8:43
  Speaker 2: to every other person except Noah, his wife, the three sons,

  Speaker 2: and their wives. Hallelujah. There will always be a witness.

  Speaker 2: In partnership with God. When it was time to destroy

  Speaker 2: the prophets of Baal, Elijah was the man that God used.

  Speaker 2: Are we together now? And he single-handedly brought down the

  Speaker 2: prophets of Baal. So it is not consistent with God's

  Speaker 2: character to do things on earth and take everyone by storm.

  Speaker 2: of us as a thief in the night. The popular

  Speaker 2: narrative is that he's coming to us as a thief

  Speaker 2: in the night. But that was just a sincere misunderstanding

  Speaker 2: by theologians. The Bible never said he's coming as a
• 9:30
  Speaker 2: thief in the night to everybody. Can we look at
• 9:34
  Speaker 2: that scripture? I pray you don't distract me tonight. 1

  Speaker 2: Thessalonians 5. 1 Thessalonians 5. Let me just clear the

  Speaker 2: air on that. This is a place of education and enlightenment.

  Speaker 2: By the way, I didn't do a proper preamble to

  Speaker 2: my teaching tonight. I was meditating on a very serious contemplation.

  Speaker 2: Did you know that the church of the Lord Jesus

  Speaker 2: Christ is the cheapest platform for transformation every other institution

  Speaker 2: on earth that affords transformation has requirements the university will

  Speaker 2: not admit everybody There are certain institutions that demand an
• 10:18
  Speaker 2: age range. They demand quotas from certain regions. Are we together?
• 10:22
  Speaker 2: But the only requirement for the church is a willing
• 10:26
  Speaker 2: heart and your journey right to where God is. The
• 10:29
  Speaker 2: reason why we take advantage of the platform, the pulpit,
• 10:34
  Speaker 2: to educate, enlighten, transform, and empower God's people is because
• 10:40
  Speaker 2: the church is the cheapest platform for transformation. Hallelujah. That
• 10:47
  Speaker 2: being said, 1 Thessalonians 5, verse 1. For you yourselves

  Speaker 2: know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh
• 10:56
  Speaker 2: as a thief in the night. You see that now?

  Speaker 2: So cometh as a thief in the night. Verse 2.

  Speaker 2: Verse 3 now. It says, for when they, are you

  Speaker 2: seeing what Paul is saying now? When they shall say,
• 11:11
  Speaker 2: Peace and safety. Then sudden destruction cometh upon them as
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: travail upon a woman with child and they shall not escape.

  Speaker 2: If you are a Christian, shout verse 4 with all
• 11:23
  Speaker 2: your heart so it settles it once and for all.

  Speaker 2: One, two, read. So do we have that clear now? Alright,

  Speaker 2: so let's go back to our teaching. That's not my,

  Speaker 2: I just thought to bring that in. Because you see,

  Speaker 2: your stamina in the kingdom is based on the degree
• 11:46
  Speaker 2: of illumination that you have. The realm of the spirit
• 11:50
  Speaker 2: does not respect you because of your biological, your physical age, no.

  Speaker 2: The realm of the spirit respects you on account of
• 11:58
  Speaker 2: the stability of your understanding.

  Speaker 2: Praise the name of the Lord. 2 Corinthians, 1 Corinthians 2.10 says,

  Speaker 2: 1 Corinthians 2.10. The Bible tells us that God has

  Speaker 2: revealed them to us. The preceding verse will say, No

  Speaker 2: eye has seen, no ear has heard, neither has it

  Speaker 2: entered into the heart of man the things which God
• 12:22
  Speaker 2: hath prepared for them that love him. Apostle Paul now says,

  Speaker 2: But God has revealed them to us by his Spirit,
• 12:31
  Speaker 2: for the Spirit such as all things, yea, the deep
• 12:35
  Speaker 2: things of God. So we know for a fact that
• 12:38
  Speaker 2: we can access deep mysteries in the spirit that can
• 12:41
  Speaker 2: help us navigate prophetic seasons. Now, the believer's earth walk
• 12:47
  Speaker 2: is broken into seasons. Hallelujah. And the most important of
• 12:52
  Speaker 2: all seasons is not just the biological seasons, rainy season,
• 12:57
  Speaker 2: dry season as we call them. here in Nigeria, but
• 13:01
  Speaker 2: the prophetic season. Because the lifetime, what you call your lifetime,
• 13:07
  Speaker 2: is a joining together of many prophetic seasons. And the
• 13:12
  Speaker 2: quality of your life, holistically, will be measured by the
• 13:16
  Speaker 2: intelligence you have to navigate those seasons. You can do
• 13:20
  Speaker 2: well in a season past and lose discernment for the
• 13:23
  Speaker 2: season that is now before you and you can literally
• 13:26
  Speaker 2: lose your bishopric because you do not have the intelligence
• 13:29
  Speaker 2: to discern nor to navigate seasons. Those that remain in
• 13:35
  Speaker 2: God's program, those that have longevity of impact, are not
• 13:40
  Speaker 2: just people who are zealous, they are not just people
• 13:43
  Speaker 2: who are gifted, but they are people who can read
• 13:45
  Speaker 2: the writings on the wall. Ten years ago, the church
• 13:49
  Speaker 2: was going to enter a new season. There were people
• 13:52
  Speaker 2: who predating those ten years were relevant, were at the
• 13:55
  Speaker 2: cutting edge of God's prophetic plan. and apostolic activity, but
• 14:00
  Speaker 2: simply because for some reason they lost discernment to understand seasons.
• 14:05
  Speaker 2: There are many things about prophetic seasons. Prophetic seasons come
• 14:10
  Speaker 2: with a change in patterns. And if you do not
• 14:13
  Speaker 2: have discernment to understand prophetic seasons, you will be using
• 14:17
  Speaker 2: the jawbone of an ass where the duty of that
• 14:20
  Speaker 2: jawbone is already over. It was once used to kill 3,000 Philistines,
• 14:26
  Speaker 2: but it was not always used. Prophetic seasons demand discernment
• 14:31
  Speaker 2: to change and to switch patterns, to know how to
• 14:35
  Speaker 2: stand upon your watch, set yourself upon the tower to
• 14:39
  Speaker 2: see what the Lord says. It is true that the
• 14:42
  Speaker 2: Red Sea once parted, but it is not the only
• 14:45
  Speaker 2: formula for escaping water. So if you stand before Jordan
• 14:49
  Speaker 2: and you are expecting it to part like the Red
• 14:52
  Speaker 2: Sea parted, you may die there. Because there are times
• 14:55
  Speaker 2: the formula will be that the sea will part. There
• 14:58
  Speaker 2: are other times you will be empowered to walk upon
• 15:01
  Speaker 2: the water. There are times that the storm will be inside.
• 15:05
  Speaker 2: Yours is to verify whether Jesus is in the boat.
• 15:10
  Speaker 2: So the rod, the boat, and your feet are all
• 15:14
  Speaker 2: tools that can help you go to the other side
• 15:16
  Speaker 2: depending on what season. Is someone following already? Many, many
• 15:21
  Speaker 2: believers start well. They start well in ministry. They start
• 15:25
  Speaker 2: well in business. The world is full of gifted people
• 15:29
  Speaker 2: who are largely bankrupt of spiritual intelligence. And so seasons,
• 15:33
  Speaker 2: prophetic seasons come and come upon them and they do
• 15:38
  Speaker 2: not know how to navigate these seasons and people literally
• 15:42
  Speaker 2: lose their relevance. And you hear people say, this man
• 15:44
  Speaker 2: was once anointed, was once great. This business was once great.
• 15:49
  Speaker 2: There are many businesses who had their seasons and they excelled,
• 15:53
  Speaker 2: but from an economic standpoint, they did not have the
• 15:56
  Speaker 2: intelligence to adjust to the world that was changing. And
• 16:00
  Speaker 2: today they have neatly been etched out of relevance. And
• 16:03
  Speaker 2: that is true even for ministers of the gospel. That
• 16:06
  Speaker 2: is true for families. That is true for nations. Those
• 16:09
  Speaker 2: who are leading the field in any area of life
• 16:12
  Speaker 2: today have mastered the art of not just providing the
• 16:16
  Speaker 2: value that keeps them relevant. but they have kept an
• 16:19
  Speaker 2: extra eye like wise men to watch seasons so that
• 16:22
  Speaker 2: when they detect a change in season, they go back spiritually, economically,
• 16:28
  Speaker 2: politically to the drawing board and they reinvent themselves to
• 16:32
  Speaker 2: remain relevant. If you're with me already, say amen. So
• 16:37
  Speaker 2: for part one, we're looking at Isaiah 43. I want
• 16:41
  Speaker 2: to show you a few things by the Spirit of
• 16:43
  Speaker 2: God that will help and guide us. Let's read 18
• 16:46
  Speaker 2: and 19. Isaiah 18 and 19, part 1. Remember ye
• 16:53
  Speaker 2: not the former things? Hallelujah. Neither consider the things of old.

  Speaker 2: Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall

  Speaker 2: spring forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even

  Speaker 2: make a way in the wilderness, he says, and rivers

  Speaker 2: in the desert. May the Lord bless the reading of

  Speaker 2: his word. The first point we need to examine in
• 17:18
  Speaker 2: discussing this scripture is the statement, remember ye not. remember
• 17:27
  Speaker 2: ye not please follow carefully that is a very powerful
• 17:31
  Speaker 2: warning he's saying remember ye not he's attempting to guide
• 17:36
  Speaker 2: your focus to something and he's saying the way the
• 17:40
  Speaker 2: mind works is you cannot be focused on the past
• 17:42
  Speaker 2: and on the future together are we together so he's
• 17:46
  Speaker 2: helping to disconnect you from something so that he can
• 17:49
  Speaker 2: redirect your attention to something else god is doing Because
• 17:53
  Speaker 2: at every given point, your mind, your attention, your zeal,
• 17:57
  Speaker 2: your commitment, your passion can only be invested in one
• 18:00
  Speaker 2: aspect of your life. And in this case, this person
• 18:04
  Speaker 2: here is focused on yesterday and its achievements or its failures.
• 18:09
  Speaker 2: And the prophet begins by saying, remember ye not. I
• 18:14
  Speaker 2: wrote here, over dwelling in the past or on the past,
• 18:18
  Speaker 2: whichever is appropriate here. Overdwelling in the past or on
• 18:24
  Speaker 2: past thoughts, both negative and positive, can hinder your advancement
• 18:30
  Speaker 2: and your progress in life. Overdwelling on the past, both
• 18:37
  Speaker 2: negative and positive, can hinder your advancement and your progress
• 18:43
  Speaker 2: in life. As simple as this statement is, there are
• 18:46
  Speaker 2: many people today, they failed because they succeeded. The reason
• 18:52
  Speaker 2: why they became failures was that at one point in
• 18:55
  Speaker 2: their life, they were too successful to be focused. There
• 18:59
  Speaker 2: are many people today who became successful because they so
• 19:04
  Speaker 2: failed that it brought them to a point of determination
• 19:07
  Speaker 2: that they would not fail again. Here he's telling us
• 19:10
  Speaker 2: that the past, whether positive or negative, can have an
• 19:15
  Speaker 2: adverse effect as far as destiny actualization is concerned. The
• 19:22
  Speaker 2: negative past, I wrote here, the negative past can create fear,
• 19:28
  Speaker 2: can create discouragement, and it can also deflate your passion
• 19:33
  Speaker 2: to press. When you dwell on a negative past, it
• 19:37
  Speaker 2: sustains an ability to bring fear, it sustains an ability
• 19:41
  Speaker 2: to bring discouragement, and to deflate your passion to press.

  Speaker 2: Give us Judges chapter 6, please. We'll read from verse 13.

  Speaker 2: 13 to 15. Judges chapter 6. Is God helping someone?

  Speaker 2: a negative past. Now you understand what I mean by

  Speaker 2: it can bring discouragement. It can bring... Fear, it can

  Speaker 2: deflate your passion to press. There are many people today

  Speaker 2: who have lost out on their passion towards life, towards ministry,
• 21:20
  Speaker 2: because their life is a plethora of negative occurrences. Financial problems.
• 21:27
  Speaker 2: Marital problems, health problems, ministry failure, maybe mistakes of the past.

  Speaker 2: And all those things combined can become a weapon that
• 21:37
  Speaker 2: the devil can use to deflate your passion. Do you know,
• 21:40
  Speaker 2: I'm sure that every one of you here can bear
• 21:43
  Speaker 2: witness that there are people who at one point you
• 21:45
  Speaker 2: could trace their zeal. Their zeal for life was palpable.
• 21:49
  Speaker 2: I mean, they were bubbling with energy. And a few
• 21:54
  Speaker 2: years down the line, when they've been beaten down left
• 21:57
  Speaker 2: and right by the vicissitudes of life, they watch you
• 22:00
  Speaker 2: in your zeal as a young man and they say,

  Speaker 2: save Johnny, this road you are following, we once followed it.

  Speaker 2: Dwelling on a negative past, remember ye not, he says.

  Speaker 2: Hallelujah. The Lord is challenging Gideon, giving him an assignment

  Speaker 2: to be a mighty man. And Gideon is saying, listen,

  Speaker 2: you don't know my problem. I am the least in

  Speaker 2: my father's house and my father's house is the least.

  Speaker 2: So don't even bring this. There are many preachers today

  Speaker 2: who have so failed in ministry to a point that

  Speaker 2: any word that comes from God, they cast it as

  Speaker 2: a word from the devil. There are many people who

  Speaker 2: have failed in business. There are many champions, custodians of

  Speaker 2: great destinies that have lost it all. I do not

  Speaker 2: know any great man who has not failed before. When

  Speaker 2: you find one, run away. When you find a great

  Speaker 2: man who has not failed before, you are standing before

  Speaker 2: a risk. There is a failure requirement that becomes an

  Speaker 2: anchor that brings balance and stability to your life in

  Speaker 2: the presence and in the midst of success. Hallelujah. Are

  Speaker 2: your failure, there is still an apostle there. In the

  Speaker 2: midst of your failure, there is still a prophet there.

  Speaker 2: In the midst of a failure, there is still a businessman.

  Speaker 2: The kingdom financier is still there. Do not think yesterday
• 23:42

  Speaker 2: intense spiritual warfare. A call for higher levels of spiritual intelligence.

  Speaker 2: and spiritual warfare. And number five is the season of rewards.
